1. Introduction: Hey guys, welcome
to my first course. In this course, I will
teach you how to be more productive
and get work done. Have you ever heard
of the saying that you should be
more productive? I have. And that doesn't
really explain to us how to get work done. But through this course, I will teach you how to be more productive, accomplish
your goals. Sustainable routine,
and distinguish the difference between instant
and delayed gratification. By the end of this course, you will have made
your own schedule to see what you should get rid of or what you should implement. Now, this course will not only teach you how
to be productive, but it will teach you how to utilize productive activities, work, they'll help you
be more productive to get you closer to your goals. Now, let's get started with our first lesson
about time waster.
2. Time Wasters (1): Hey guys, welcome to
our first lesson. In this lesson we'll be
talking about timely stirs. First, let's identify
what is it, time wasted? Time wasted, or activities
that don't really promote productivity and don't get you closer to your goals. Time nuestras can
be social media, video games, and
binge-watch shows. Now we don't want to completely
remove timely stirs. We want to slowly lower
your use of them. E.g. let's talk about how
long you spent on Instagram. If you spent 3 h on Instagram, we want to try and Laura to 2 h and 30 min for
the first week. And then the next week we can try and lower it to only 2 h. You can apply this method. Each of your time wastage. And when I bring
up time waster is just not one thing that
pops up in your brain. Quickly. Write it down. When
you write it down, you can see what
it is and you can work on Lauren use of them. In the next lesson, we will talk about what you
can replace time waster. But something productive.
3. Productive Activities: Hey guys, welcome to
my second lesson. In this lesson, we'll be talking about productive activities. The last lesson we talked about time waster is and
how to eliminate them. In this lesson, we'll
be talking about productive work to replace
those tiny tasters. You can replace time verses
with a variety of things. It can be learning a new skill, finding a hobby that requires effort or exercise,
anything that you loved. You want to make this fundal. When you get into a fun,
productive activity, you'd want to do it more
and more every day. Doing this gets
you in the habit. Finding ways to promote
your productivity. Slowly add in your
productive work. You don't want to add in too much and then not
be able to do it. For the first week, you
can spend 15 min on it. Then next week you
can spend 30 min. Now you can keep
this going up to an hour or more,
however you like. Or you can split the time and add in more productive work. This gets, this will
help you slowly replaced your time racers and lead help you to lead a
more fulfilled life. Now, makes sure you
keep your options open. You can do anything you
want as long as it helps promote your productivity.
Andrew, work. Thank you.
4. Sleeping Habits: Hey guys, welcome
to my third lesson. In this lesson we'll be talking about your sleeping habits. First, let's discuss
why it's important. You sleep dictates how much
energy you have for the day. If you sleep enough, you will
have more energy to work. If you don't sleep enough, you
won't have energy to work. This can affect your
productivity now, so you have bad sleeping
habits. How do we fix it? Well, you can wake up
at the same time every day and go to bed at the
same time every night. At first, this
will be difficult, but slowly this will become
a routine and it'll be easy. Now, preferably want to aim
for seven to 9 h of sleep. This ensures that your body will recover from the day before
and you are well rested. Now, if you stick
to this routine, your energy levels will
significantly increase. You will have more
energy to do work. And this will lead you to be
more productive every day. Thank you.
5. Purpose and Goals: Hey guys, welcome to
my fourth lesson. In this lesson, we'll be talking about your purpose
and your goal. Now, first let's
discuss what each mean. Your purpose is
why you are doing something and you go Is what
you are trying to achieve. Now, let's take
some time here and figure out what your purpose is. This can take as
long as it needs to. You can pause the video
and come back later. Makes sure to do the
same with three goals. Having a goal and
the purpose will lead you to be more
willing to work, especially when you
don't feel like it. This is a very powerful as it can contribute
to productivity. Now you've purpose English
would be specific to you if you've ever had that one thing in mind
that you've never had enough time to get to now
is the time to do it, write it down on
a piece of paper, and work hard towards it. Your purpose determined
what you're going to do, and how you will do it. Please take some time and really think about
what your purpose is. Then continue on to
the next lesson.
6. Daily Goals: Hey guys, welcome
to my fifth lesson. In this lesson we'll be
talking about daily goals. First of all, our daily goals. Daily goals are many goals
you accomplish every day that will help you
achieve your major goal. Let's go over some examples. First, you want to create a checklist of goals you want
to accomplish every day. On the checklist can
be anything you want. It can be making your
bed, sitting and working. Whether it'd be through
school or your job, reading, running your
errands or anything else. Now at the end of your goal, it's really important
that you write complete. This shows that you've done everything you need for the day. After each activity
has been completed, makes sure to write a
check mark next to it. Now this is important because when your day
is coming to an end, you won't need to ask yourself
if you're productive. Instead, you can look at the checklist and see
everything you've done. Now this is a great method to implement in your daily
routine because they can show you how productive you are and how much work
you've gotten done.
7. Instant and Delayed Gratification: Hey guys, welcome
to my sixth lesson. In this lesson we'll be talking about instant gratification. First, let's discuss what
is instant gratification. Instant gratification
is the enjoyment of doing something that's easy. That can be scrolling
through social media, playing video games,
or watching shows. Our aim is to reduce instant gratification and commit to delayed gratification. And that has the enjoyment of doing something that
requires hard work. Now, wildcards, hard work. That can be reading, exercising, or developing and
learning a new skill. The more you challenge
yourself to more you'll grow. Our aim is to distance ourselves
from our comfort zones. Now, this will take time, be patient and try
out for a month. In this short amount of time, you will see how
much you've grown. Now, delaying
gratification will lead you to better and
healthier habits. This will ultimately
lead you to be more productive and look
forward to harder work.
8. Creating a Routine: Hey guys, welcome to
my seventh lesson. In this lesson, we'll be talking about creating a routine. Now, creating a routine is
important because it keeps it consistent and ensures you
will be productive everyday. Your routines to be based on your responsibilities
for the day. From the time you wake up to
the time you go to sleep, you should know what
you need to do. Now, if you have an event or
appointment that comes up, you need to plan ahead
to ensure that you'll be productive and you
will accomplish everything on your routine. Planning ahead can be changing something from
one time to another. Now all of this is important
because in the next lesson, we'll be talking about
our class project and how you will get a chance
to build your own schedule.
9. Class Project: Hey guys, welcome to
the class project. In this class
project you will be building your own schedule. And your schedule
you will include activities you do and
the time you do them. I've attached a file
of my own schedule so you can get an idea of
where and how to start. I've also attached
another file you can use to build
your own schedule. If you're not comfortable
using a file I attached, you can write your
schedule on a piece of paper or anywhere else
you feel comfortable. Now your schedule is not
supposed to look like mine. These are your schedules and
its purpose is to show you how much responsibility you have or how much
extra time you have. And you can use the extra
time to be more productive. Now, I can't wait to see
all your schedules and make sure to look up
further comments. I will post on them.
10. Working Environment: Hey guys, welcome to
my eighth lesson. In this lesson we'll
be talking about creating a good
working environment. You're working environment
should promote three things, concentration, focus,
and productivity. Now your workspace should
only be used for work. And the only mindset
you need is I am going to be productive and
accomplish all of my work. One thing that helps me is
keeping my goals visible. I do this by writing my
goals on a piece of paper and sticking it up on the wall or anywhere
around me that's visible. I recommend this because anytime you feel tired or unmotivated, you can look at your goal and see why you are working so hard. Senior goes constantly
will promote you to work harder and increase your
determination to succeed.
11. Reducing Distractions: Hey guys, welcome
to my ninth lesson. In this lesson, we'll be
talking about distractions, specifically how to
minimize distractions. Distractions can come in
many different forms. It could be your phone, your family, or friends. Now personally, what
strikes me is my phone. So our focus will be
avoiding technology. Now when working, you can
keep your phone on do not disturb in a different
room or on airplane mode. I personally put my phone on airplane mode with it behind me and the
screen facing down. Now, if you can't disabled notifications for
personal reasons, I recommend you face your phone down and keep it out of sight. That way if there's
a notification, you can hear it, but the screen lining up
will not distracting. Now this method helped me
and I know it will help you. Reducing your phone
usage while working will significantly increase
your productivity.
12. Work Duration: Hey guys, welcome
to my tenth lesson. In this lesson we'll be
talking about work duration. Now what is worth duration? Work duration is demo of time spent on work in a single day. Here are a couple of methods I use to increase
my work duration. The first method is
to work for 3 min. And after the 3rd
minutes are over, take a five-minute break. Now, after the five-minute
break is over with Pete, you're 30 min cycle. Do this for as long as you like or until you've
completed all of your work. The second method is to work for 45 min and take a five
to ten-minute break. You want a longer one that have a longer break this time because you are
working for longer. Now repeat this every
four to 5 min until you've completed your work
or your feature set time. Now the third method
is to work for 1 h. Now, if you can handle longer, longer amounts of work, this is the method I recommend. Now after you work for 1 h, take a ten-minute break, and then after your
ten-minute break, repeat that 1 h works. Now the fourth and final
method is to work for 90 min or an hour and 3 min and take a 15
to 20 minute break. Now, every time you break, you have a 15 to
20 minute break. Make sure you get a snack or
strategy because 90 min is a long time and it repeat that 90 minute walk
cycle after your break. Now you can choose any one of these and implement it
into your schedule. Or you can slowly work your way up from the first method
all the way to the fourth, whatever is most convenient
for you and your schedule.
13. Conclusion: Hey guys, congratulations,
you've completed the course. This is a huge achievement. You're taking initiative to becoming a more
productive person. You're improving yourself. This is something you
should be very proud of. I really hope this course
helped you and leave a review. Tell me how I did,
what can I improve? What should I do less of? And I'm open to criticism. And if you have any questions, leave them in the comments. Do the class project
and very good for you. Yeah, look out for more
courses in the future. And I really hope
this helped you.
