1. Introduction: Welcome to Growth Mindset Mastery!: Hello and welcome to
Growth Mindset Mastery, the powerful secret
to unlimited success. I'm your teacher,
Juliette Piper. I'll tell you a bit more about myself in the next
couple of slides. But first and foremost, I am so excited that you are here and you are
taking this course. This course is small
and it is mighty. It contains the secret that
all successful people know. And there's going to be
something in this course that causes a massive
ah ha moment. A big breakthrough, whether you are in arts or
entrepreneurship like me, or there's any other
field that you want to achieve and be successful
in this course is for you. There is no gate keeping. There is no upselling. I'm putting everything
into this course and I am so excited to
share it with you. So here's what we're
going to cover inside growth mindset mastery. Module one is about next
level clarity and we're going to figure out what
success means to you, okay? I imagine right now all
of us watching this have this feeling in our hearts of I just want to be successful. I want to be successful. Who doesn't want that, right? It's a very noble
and valid desire, but we need to
figure out what that truly looks like for you
on an individual level, not what it looks like
for anybody around us, what we think it's
supposed to look like. We're going to dive into
next level, clarity. And once we do, the whole world is
going to open up. Okay, in module two, we're going to
figure out what is driving you and we're
going to root into your Y. These first two modules
are going to require you to do some big inner work and
some big inner discovery. And you're going to
find at the end of these two modules that you're going to have a foundation on which to build your success. You're going to have
the motivation. You're going to have the gas that's driving your car forward, and you're going to have the GPS directing you where
you want to go. Because right now it's possible that you might feel
like you're turning your wheels in circles
or you're sitting in a car idly on the
side of the road. And I felt like that for a very, very long time in my life. And I feel like it is
my heartfelt mission, amongst other topics, to help people move
past feeling stuck. Okay, so we're going
to get you there. In module three, we're going to talk about what is
stopping you. Okay? We all have a belief
in our hearts and in our minds of what
is blocking us. And we're going to do some
really intense limiting, belief crushing work. I had never heard of this
until a few years ago. And the way that my life has transformed since discovering
what a limiting belief is and how we can rise above
it and alchemize it into an incredibly
inspiring affirmation. I'm throwing some words that maybe you're not used to, okay? Or maybe you're like, I've heard these words
1 million times. I still invite you to lean in because I may present it in a way that you've
not heard it before. And it's going to
click in module four, we're going to transform a fixed mindset into
a growth mindset, which is arguably the most
important secret to success. I'm going to explain what
that means and I'm going to teach you exactly how to do it. You're going to know you're
going to be a pro. Okay. Then in module five, we're going to learn
how to go from fear of failure to courage
and resilience. How many of us know somebody, or maybe we're this
person who is so afraid to move that
we don't even try. We're so afraid to fail. We're so afraid to be judged. We're so afraid
to be criticized. We're so afraid of like
the embarrassment, which is very human
and very normal. There's nothing wrong
with feeling this way. But it's those people
who are courageous and who are resilient
and who go for it and who stand up again and again that land on the
success that they're after. We're going to talk
all about that and help you integrate
that into your body. Even if you've never felt like a courageous person before, I'm going to show
you how it's done. Then we're going to talk about creating a supportive
environment. You can have all of these
things set up perfectly, modules one through five, if the environment that
surrounds you is not supportive. And I'll tell you exactly
what I mean by supportive. You're going to find
yourself taking a step forward and
two steps back, over, and over, and
over and over again. I cannot wait to
dive into that topic with you and talk about exactly how you can make an environment support you so that
you can thrive. Module seven, Vision Boards, Visualization and meditation. Okay, there are different
ways to approach success. Some people say there's
a masculine approach. Some people say there's
a feminine approach. You can say the light, the dark, the inner world,
the outer world. Whatever you want to call it. But module seven really
leans into the inner world, and perhaps some might call
it the feminine world. Where we get into our
emotions and we get into our feelings and we work
a little magic together. And I love this module. This module contains tools that completely
transformed my life. Then module eight is more
of that energetic work. Okay, because we're learning
how to take big action. We're learning how to be brave. We're learning how
to be courageous. We're figuring out
what we want and who we want to be and all
these amazing things. We're transforming a fixed
mindset into a growth mindset. But how do we hold
that energy long term? How do we embody that
successful person? Years to come so that you
don't just see this course. Take this course, feel good for a week and then you're back
where you started, okay? I want you to have the
understanding of how to embody this feeling and
take it with you for life. So that even when there
are disappointments where things don't go as planned,
because that's life, and the path to success is
not often a straight line. I want you to know
that you can embody this successful feeling
no matter what long term, how good does this all sound? I'm so excited. So I'm going to tell you
a little bit about me. If you've never
heard of me before, I have a very colorful past and I'm excited
to talk about it. So again, my name is Juliet. I am a certified life
coach and a teacher and mentor with experience
working with hundreds of happy clients
all around the world. So I'm recording this in 2023 and I've worked with over
800 students and clients. People who have experienced massive breakthroughs and
have transformed their lives. And it's just such a joy and I love that I get
to do this for you. Okay, Being in this course, it's going to feel
very personal. It's going to feel like
we're on a zoom call. And no matter at what
point, what time, how many years down the
road you watch this course, it is going to be relevant. The teachings and the tools
in this course are timeless. And the love and the support and the genuine encouragement
that you're going to feel for me is also
timeless and infinite. I'm the author of the book,
Courageously Creative. I'm so proud of this book. If you are an artist,
an aspiring artist, or you are somebody
who feels like your creativity gets
pushed to the side. This book is for you. I've hosted empowering
retreats in the US and even in Bali
that was amazing. I've been the co host of
a top charted podcast. I'm a musician, I'm a
composer for a Sesame street. I've had my songs placed
on HBO, MTV, PBS kids. There's more credits here. I'm a singer songwriter. I've got original music
that's been on major radio. I've played mainstage
at festivals. I have a really
interesting broad life. I love teaching and
I love creativity, and I love to hang out at the crossroads of
like art and magic, or art and entrepreneurship,
or art and success. So that's where I come from. Okay. I've got a
really colorful home. My whole family's musical, entrepreneurial, and I just have such a love for what I do. I want to talk to you. We're
here to talk about success, and we're here to talk
about growth, okay? Three years ago I
was living at home. I was earning below
the poverty line. I was working, I
was running around. This is probably more
like five years ago. I was running around. I
was a preschool teacher. Then I would drive and
I would go be a nanny. Then the next day I would
go back to teaching, Then I would drive somewhere
else and go be an assistant. I was so tired, so exhausted, so burned out. I was a child who achieved
really big in school. Maybe you can
relate. Maybe you're somebody who was like a
high achiever in school. And then you've got
into the real world and you felt like it
knocked you on your butt. That was my experience. That's why it means the world to me to be able to
teach this. Okay. I am now a full time
creative entrepreneur. I do what lights up my
heart on a daily basis. I feel deeply fulfilled. I feel totally in my purpose
and I am really successful. I'm really successful.
I'm out living in my dream home with my fiance. I met the love of my life. We're getting married soon. Things are going great. I cannot keep this
all to myself. If you're ready, let's
dive in to module one.
2. Next Level Clarity: What Does Success Mean to You?: All right, let's dive
into module one. Next level, clarity. What does success mean to you? It's a big question.
Okay. The truth about success, what is success? It is different for
every single person. It is completely
subjective, okay? One person's success is
another person's nightmare. Somebody's success
might be living on a farm and somebody else
is like whoa, right? We all value different
things, lifestyles, experiences your success, and my success might look
completely different. Ultimately, when we say success, we're saying we want to
feel happy and fulfilled. That is how I feel. And I
know that that is rare. And there are people out
there that earn more than me or who are more popular
or famous than me, right? But I am measuring success by do you wake up and feel happy
and fulfilled every day? Are you in your purpose, are you feeling like
you're achieving things? Does your life and your vision
board look pretty similar? When we say I want
to be successful, we are actually being
incredibly vague. Okay. Raise your hand if you've
been guilty of that, like I just want
to be successful. I did it for yes, I did it for years. I
didn't have a roadmap. I didn't have a plan. If that's where you are, you're
in the right place. Okay. That is just perfect.
That is just fine. Life, The universe, our subconscious mind does not
know what to do with that, the word success, our brain, the world, However you like to view life and how it works. It doesn't know what
to do with that. It's like a boss
telling the employees, let's have the best year ever. But not laying out
what those goals are, what that actually means, what milestones, what
things we're trying to hit. Right? Wouldn't you be
confused? You'd be so confused. You'd be like, I don't
know what I'm supposed to do You just said like,
let's be successful. If we keep talking
about wanting to be successful without giving
ourselves any clear direction, we may find ourselves living the same year over
and over on repeat. I have been there, I have
absolutely been there. Getting crystal clear. What we need is clarity and specificity on our
deepest desires. And if you feel like
you already know, this is an invitation to dig
deeper and an invitation to tease it out even more and see if there's more
truth to be uncovered. I want you to grab a journal. It is time to ask yourself
the following questions. Okay, we're going to figure out what success actually
means to you. So I'm going to read
through the questions. Feel free to pause this video
and jot down your answers. I cannot recommend
journaling enough. You might want to skip over
this. I'm begging you. Grab a journal, grab a notebook, and do this work. This is where your breakthroughs
are going to happen. First question is, how
do I want to feel on a daily basis? How
do I want to feel? Your feelings are a part of your level of
success and happiness. Where do I want to live?
What type of city? What type of residence? How many bedrooms?
How much land? My idea of success, I grew up in Los
Angeles is having like a big backyard because that, to me, is such a rarity. If you live in the Midwest or you live in other
parts of the world, you're like, we have 12 acres. That's not success, right? We all see success differently. Where do you want to
live? What career would I like to thrive in? How much money would I like
to earn each month or year? I want you to be very honest as you answer these questions. Be so honest with yourself. How do I want to
spend my free time? What am I doing for
fun and enjoyment? How am I taking
care of my health? How am I nurturing my
spiritual connection if that is important to you? If it is not skip
right over that. What does my dream day look like in as much detail as possible? That's where you can have
fun and really imagine. I open my eyes and then this happens and then I do this
and I feel like this, and I meet up with
this person and I wear this. What
is your dream day? If a magic genius showed up and granted you
unlimited wishes, what would you wish
for specifically? Because if you say, I
want money and success, they might give you three
pennies and say, well, there's some money, right? We need to get
crystal clear with ourselves and with life. This is where we begin
to create a blueprint. The answer to these
questions that you just answered will
help you create a blueprint or a roadmap to your most authentically
successful life. I do not want you chasing what you see in the
media as successful, unless that is genuinely
something you want. I've got to drive what is
it called, the Rolls Royce? If that's success to you, own it and claim it. But if you're like, I
actually want three horses. What is success to you? Let's create this blueprint. It is important that you answer
these questions honestly. If everything was possible
and no one could judge you, what would you desire? We are so afraid to speak
our own desires into existence because we think
we're going to sound foolish. Someone's going to
roll their eyes and be like, that's
not possible. We may feel like we
don't deserve it. Right? All these things come up. But I want you to imagine that you're writing
this letter to me saying these are the things that I
unapologetically want. I will never judge a single
one of your desires. Okay, I believe in you so much as you reflect on
your journal prompts, start narrowing in on the
things you can do now where you are with what you have to tap into those specific
desires and feelings. People skip this.
They're like, oh, I don't have X amount of income, so I'm not even going to treat myself to lighting
the nice candle. It's just so funny. We're like, oh, luxury is over there. Pleasure is over there. Joy is over there. But there's so much in front of us. Okay. If you want to live in a big luxurious
home, for instance, maybe you're not there yet, but can you take walks
in those neighborhoods? Can you do some journaling at a coffee shop that is located
in those neighborhoods? Can you make your home or your bedroom or the
side of the room, your dorm bed, the room that you share with
three siblings? Whatever your situation is, can you make your space feel
as luxurious as possible? This is about getting in
the energy because I've learned that our energy comes first and
then life follows. Believing, then seeing. We believe we are successful, we believe we are abundant, we believe we are luxurious, and we start making little
adjustments with what we have, where we can and life follows. This is a big step to success. Get really specific with your blueprint then
as you reflect, how can I start bringing
those things into my life? Now, if one of your things was, I want a personal trainer
seven days a week, could you join a gym for $19 a month and just take
yourself to the gym? Could you go take a
walk? Like what can you do with what you
have, where you're at? That has been
transformational for me. If you're not sure
what you want, I'm sure some of you are like
Juliet. I don't know yet. I don't know yet. That's okay. I want you to express gratitude that your clarity is on
the way to you right now. It's coming. It's coming. It's the clarity is on
the way. It's undeniable. Sometimes knowing what
you definitely don't want will help you
determine what you do want. What we don't like is a great
roadmap for what we do. Like for instance, I definitely don't want to
work 50 plus hours a week. I have done that. I don't
want to do that anymore. I definitely don't want to
live far away from my family. That's a deal breaker
for me personally. Right. We all have our things, we all have our deal breakers. Figure out what you don't want. Another tool you can
use if you're like, I'm not quite sure
what my desires are. Use jealousy. When
you feel jealousy, it is actually the
greatest gift. It is a neutral indicator
of what you desire. It points exactly
at what you want. Notice where jealousy
comes up for you and ask yourself what
messages it brings. I know exactly where
it comes up for me. Okay? It's a very
human, normal emotion. We have been taught to repress it and feel shame around it. It is okay to feel jealous. It is okay. I'll be like, oh, I'm noticing,
I'm feeling jealous. What's the message here? I
want to get back on the stage. Oh, I'm feeling jealous. What is it? Oh, I want
to put myself out there more and then I
go, oh, thank you. Thank you for the message. Right. Reframe your
jealousy because we're humans. We're here, we're human. It happens, look to your
childhood for clues. What did you love or
fantasize about as a kid? Okay, for me, I would come home from school and I
would set up the living room. And I would play school
I wanted to teach, my dad would sit
down and I would teach him everything
I learned that day, and he was such a good sport. Sometimes I would assign him
homework and he would do it. He's always been wildly supportive of everything
I want to do. The other thing was,
once school was done, I would have dinner, and then
I would put on a big show. I wanted to sing,
I wanted to dance. That's all I dreamt about. It's what I do now on a
day to day basis, right? Look to your childhood. What did you love?
What did you love? And remember that your
success does not have to be tied to a career or a job title. Success for you might be
working a job that's great, and when you clock
out, you clock out. Then you go hiking
four days a week. Or you go free diving or
you go horseback riding, Like success gets to look
different for all of us. I really want to empower
you an affirmation. You can say aloud for clarity anytime you're
feeling fuzzy is every day I get closer and closer
to figuring out what I desire and what would make
me feel most fulfilled. It is. We're going to talk briefly about the ego
versus the higher self, okay? It's a lot of words that go around for essentially
the same thing. The mind versus the observer. The ego versus the higher self. Little versus big. Logic versus intuition. Use your favorite.
Doesn't matter to me. Let your higher
self guide you as you map out and call
in your success. Your higher self wants what will lead you to your greatest
fulfillment and purpose. Possibilities, expansion,
abundance, miracles. This is not like fluff. Okay, I felt an eye roll out there in the
universe, somewhere in time. It's not fluffy. The thing that you desire is the thing you
came here to do. There's a reason you're
magnetized towards it, right? And then there's
this other voice, this little voice that's
going that would be too hard. That would take too long. That is not logical. The time will pass anyway.
You can do hard things. I want you to choose
success for you. The ego, like I just did, this little voice is restricted. It's full of limitations. It has excuses. And it wants to keep you exactly where you are as you go on your
success journey. It's really important
that you learn the difference between
these two voices. And that you make a
conscious decision on which voice you will
ultimately listen to. Because our brains are
going to do their thing, Our brain is going to tell
us why something won't work and why it's a bad idea and everybody's
going to hate it, and Denver checked does. This is what our brain
does. It's about how we move forward
that matters. As you did, your journal
prompts a couple slides back. A lot of the information coming forward was from
your highest self. When you started to
feel constricted like something wasn't possible, that was your ego stepping in. We're going to revisit this
throughout the course. It's just really important to just get like a little
context of it right now. To summarize, get clear on what success specifically
means to your unique life. I do not want a group of alumni coming out of this course
with carbon copy lives. Success means something
different to all of us. Pinpoint your unique desires fully and without holding back. This is not the place to
dream small, brainstorm ways, you can creatively begin
tapping into those dreams now, okay, there is a way where you are with what
you have to do it. If you have a phone, a laptop, Wi Fi, there is some way, at minimum, that you can
start tapping into it. If you're dreaming of
living by the ocean, can you play ocean waves
on your phone? Right. If you want to take
a dance class, If you want to be a dancer, can you pull up dance videos on Youtube and start learning? Like there's something
you can do now even if the beachfront home is not in the budget yet or
the membership to the dance company is not
in the budget yet yet. Okay, start getting in the energy trust that
deeper clarity will come. And use jealousy and
childhood dreams as clues and tune into the guidance of your higher self
trust, your intuition. It is leading you in
the right direction. I will see you in module two.
3. What's Driving You? Rooting into your "Why": Welcome back. It is time to
dive right into module two. What's driving you,
rooting into Y? This is only a couple of
slides, but it's huge. Okay, buckle up. Here we go. Tapping into your deeper reason, rooting into why
you desire success, provides a deeper
reason to keep going, even when challenges arise. And I'm a very positive and optimistic and hopeful person, challenges will come
up in our lives. They will. I don't know anybody whose life is
free of challenges. But you need your deeper reason to be so abundantly
clear so that you can stay grounded and motivated and feel
encouraged to keep going. What is driving you? What can you always return to as your home base On days where things get really hard
and things hit a snag, A deeper reason also holds
us accountable, okay? Because if we're going to
walk this path of success, and we're going to step
into this growth mindset. We're not trying to do
it, we're doing it. We're going there, it's
happening. It's a decision. And we need to know
what's driving us. Okay, here are some things. Your reason does not
have to be profound. It is whatever feels
aligned to you. There's no good or bad reason why do you want your desires? What will your unique blueprint
of success bring you? What is the payoff to
keep moving forward, even when it feels
like it's not working? Because I'll tell
you there are days when it feels like
it's not working. But I have to
believe that it is. I have to answer this, Fill in the blank. Okay? I want blank because blank, For the sake of this example, you might say, I want a successful six to seven
figure a year business. Because it will provide me or my family with so
much freedom and abundance. It will bring me or my family
security and peace of mind. It will add new levels of
excitement and fun to my life. It will allow me to feel deeply fulfilled and lit
up in my purpose, doing what I know
I came here to do. I want it because I want to be the first person
in my family to do this. I want it because I
want to inspire others, or I want to change the world. Or I want it because I want it. I want it because the desire
is just that undeniably big. And I want to see
that it's possible. See if any of those jump out to you if they don't go inward. And figure out why do you want the success
that you listed out? Why do you want this
ultimate dream? Why are you asking the genie, our metaphorical genie,
for those wishes? This is going to be what
keeps your feet planted in the Earth when you're
simultaneously reaching for the stars
and trying and falling, and getting back up, and being resilient and trying again, and succeeding and winning and tapping into
your deeper reason. Meditate on your
unique, deeper reasons. What do you have to gain? This is a big question. What do you have
to gain by being the person who bravely goes for their desires and pursues
their most successful life? What do you have
to gain? What's on the other side of all of this? Alternatively, what
will you never get to experience if things
stay exactly as they are? If you don't have a roadmap, if you don't have a blueprint, if you don't have
a direction and you also don't have a
reason or a purpose, a year from now,
two years from now, three years from now, It's
all going to blur together. It's going to look
the same every time you feel like giving up. Which we all get
there sometimes. Okay? You're going to return
to your deeper reason. You're going to
remember why you began this journey at the start. This is the whole module. Okay, This is about you
having a discovery. What is why? What is it? Take the
time, do some journaling, do some meditating, figure
out what is driving you, and I will see you
in module three.
4. What's Stopping You? Limiting Belief Crusher: Welcome back. We are moving right along into Module three. What's stopping you? This is your limiting
belief crusher. We all believe there is
something that's stopping us, and we're going to get
down to what that is. We're going to crush it.
It's going to be great. This module will
change your life. What's stopping you? I need you to grab that journal again, grab that notebook, and I want you to finish
these sentences. I want to be successful, but I can't because blank. I can't be successful
because blank. Think specifically to
your version of success. I can't have this
house or this career or this type of relationship
or whatever it is. I can't have this, I can't experience
success because this. I remember the first time I
did this, It changed my life. I was convinced that I
wasn't connected enough. I can't be successful in the music industry because
I am not connected enough. I'm just simply not
connected enough. I told myself that
story for ten years. The truth was, I had a lot
of great connections and I was not empowering
myself to make new ones. Once I did the work that I'm
going to share with you, Oh my gosh, I'm a composer
for Sesame Street. I'm getting my songs
on these big TV shows. I made the connections. I decided I was a
connected person. I went out and I put
myself out there and it just like the second
the decision happened. The action followed. This
is going to be great. Be honest with yourself. Answer these questions. I can't be successful because blank. We're going to talk about a fact versus a limiting belief. I talked about this phrase
of I'm not connected enough. I believed that to be a fact. You couldn't change my mind. That was just true for me. That was the truth as
true as anything else. When I first learned
that I was holding myself back with
limiting beliefs, it blew my mind, and I
had a major breakthrough. Obviously, I'm thrilled that we're here doing this together. A fact is something that
is true for everybody. I tried to come up with some facts that we
couldn't argue. A blue whale lives in the
ocean. That is a fact. The force of gravity makes the
apple fall when I drop it. Christmas, at least where
I live is on December 25. Facts are certain
fixed information. I want you to notice how a
fact feels when I share it. It's neutral, it's informative. We're not changing it. We're not seeing it disproven, and there's it's
not up for debate. A blue whale lives in the ocean. We are not getting that
thing into an aquarium. That would be so cruel.
Let's agree, that is a fact. When we say a fact and we hear a fact and we feel in our body, it doesn't feel like anything. A limiting belief, however, is something that we feel and we believe so deep down
in us is a fact, but it actually isn't. It usually answers the question, what is stopping me
from being successful? These are going to
feel like facts. We've our brain has
tricked us into thinking these are
facts, but they are not. They are not the ultimate
truth. Things like. I'm too old to start. I'm too young to start. I don't have enough experience. Some people say,
I'm over qualified. I'll never be successful. I'm not talented enough, I'll never be a great leader, I'll never be able
to afford a blank. Whatever it is, it is
not possible for me, somebody like me, somebody
who grew up where I grew up, somebody with a
family like mine, Be honest, how many times have you said something
like this to yourself. I want you to know
that as I teach this, I'm well aware of the abundance of privileges
I've had in my life. Even with those privileges, I still believed a lot
of limiting beliefs. What are the stories
that you tell yourself that have maybe even been passed down
that feel so true, but we're going to disprove
them in just a second, okay? I'm too blank, I'm too shy, I'm too quiet. I'm too disorganized. I'll never be blank, I'll never be a good
speaker or a good teacher, or I'll never be comfortable up on a stage, whatever it is. I'm not the person who. See how these things
all feel like facts. Because we've said them to
ourselves so many times. However, they are actually
limiting beliefs. These beliefs keep
us frozen in place. Think about it. If I'm
telling myself the fact, I am too old, I am too
old to be on a magazine. I am too old to keep
pursuing my music. I'm 32 as I record
this right now. What if I told myself, I'm too old, I'm too old, I too old? If I really believe that, even though it's not ultimately true, and there are people
older than me starting music careers and doing big
amazing things every day, why would I even bother trying? If I believe, I'll
never earn six figures, I'll never earn seven figures. I might as well stay
where I'm unhappy. Because if that's just a fact, why would I take a risk? Why would I even take
a course like this? The fact that you're even
here on this slide with me means that you know in your heart you're
meant for more. If I'm not the
person who can sing, why would I take lessons? So many skills, so
many things that we can learn and
improve on over time, we just talk ourselves out of. But here's the kicker. This is what's going to set
you apart moving forward. Successful people know how to identify a limiting belief and realize it's not
the ultimate truth. If I had a limiting belief
that I did not work past, I would still be earning
below the poverty line. I would still be living
with my parents in a room, That was, I kid you not the least private room
you could have ever imagined. There was a glass door leading
into my sister's room, and I think I was 29. I lived in this room
until I was 29. There was a glass door
leading into the living room. There was a huge window into the backyard where there were always people walking around. There was a glass door
into the back yard. I felt like I was in a
fish bowl and I felt like I could never
get out of it. I did also live in a
safe loving happy home. I'm not trying to
complain about it, but I knew I wanted more. I wanted something different, and I want you to own the fact that you want something
more and you want something different and it
is okay to feel that way. It's actually a beautiful thing
to trust in your desires. Successful people
know how to identify a limiting belief and realize it's not the ultimate truth. Something may feel true for you for years or even decades
when it really isn't, objectively, it's not true. It's not the blue whale
living in the ocean. Here's how to identify
a limiting belief. The first indicator
is any thought, I meant to write thought,
that doesn't feel good. If when you say it,
you feel restricted, you feel hopeless, you
feel stuck in place, I can't be successful
because blank. If that thought makes you go, makes you feel small and
tight, it's a limiting belief. The second indicator is, ask yourself, is this
ultimately true? Is it ultimately true that
you'll never be a millionaire? Is it the law? Is it written in the
sky? Is it as factual? I really love this
whale example. I'm sorry. Is it as factual
as the law of gravity? The third indicator is, ask yourself, has
anybody done it before? Can you name one person? Maybe it's a celebrity. Can you name one person who has achieved it at the
same age or with similar circumstances
or beginnings or even more difficult
circumstances? Has anyone done it? Has
anybody become a millionaire? Has anybody launched their own business, and it succeeded? Has anybody made it
in the art world? If the answer is no, if you're like, really, there's
nobody who's done this? It could be because you're
meant to be the first. I heard something
recently that I loved. It said Stop looking
for proof and create your own. I love that. I love that in some ways, I feel like I do
that, in some ways, I feel like I can't
find somebody who does exactly what I do,
and what I envision. So go through those
thoughts and say, I this a fact or is
it a limiting belief? When a thought comes
into your mind, you're going to now
move through this. I do this on a daily basis.
I will have a thought. Sometimes, again, we
have human brains, sometimes a not too nice thought floats by or a
restricting thought floats by, and we say, how does this feel? That didn't feel great. That didn't feel great.
Is it ultimately true? Is it ultimately true that I'll never do this or I'll never have this or I'll
never achieve this? No, I guess it isn't.
Has anybody done it? Actually, yeah, I did read
an article and then Poof. It's not a fact anymore. The three questions
that I want you to ask yourself over and over and you'll be able to go
through this process. You might have to start
by journaling through it. But you get in this habit. You'll be able to go
through it in your mind in 12 seconds and move on with your day and pursue the greatness that
you wish to pursue. This is the table
example. This is great. When I got certified
in life coaching, this was the big exercise. I want to share it with you. It takes a minimum of three
legs to hold up a table. I want you to imagine that your your limiting belief is
at the top of that table. Here we have I can't
be successful. Each leg represents
a piece of evidence. You might want to draw this
out if that helps you, right? Something like I'm
too old, I'm too shy? I have bad luck. These are all beliefs
that are holding up this big belief of,
I can't have this? I can't be this. Our job is to hammer off these legs so that
the table tips over. We're going to basically remove the evidence that
you cannot be successful. I want you to look at
each piece of this table. Is it ultimately true? Has anyone ever done it and can you disprove
the evidence? How do these things feel, as you say them to yourself? Then I want you to
build new belief tables with new empowering
pieces of evidence? This is neuroplasticity
in action. This is our brain bending and changing and learning,
our whole lives. Our brains can
learn and grow and change, which is amazing. This is like a topic
for another day, but I love the idea and the
system of neuroplasticity. Let's create a new belief. I can be successful. Success is my birthright, success is possible for me. What would those
legs have to be? This is our table example. Another way to combat
these limiting beliefs. It's one thing to knock them down with your little
proverbial acts. But let's turn them
into affirmations. Successful people
nurture their mindset and are intentional
about their thoughts, which does not mean
controlling your thoughts. I'm going to say this a zillion times throughout this course. We are all human. We are
all going to have off days. We are all going to have
thoughts that don't feel great, it happens. But what successful people
do differently is they notice when a limiting belief starts to dictate their lives. Oh, wow, I'm noticing that
I'm not signing up for this course because I just believe that I'll
fail no matter what. You know what I mean? What is
the limiting belief that is dictating your life?
Can you notice it? Can you consciously choose
to tell a new story? You've identified a
limiting belief. Great. What now? Let's
say the belief is, I am too old to start
a YouTube channel. I'm too old. I'm just too old. This is the fact I'm too
old. It's not a fact. We're going to create a custom affirmation to support you. Your new affirmation that
you're going to journal. You're going to tape up
all around your house, you're going to say to
yourself every day. This is important mindset work, and this is not
to be skipped is. I am the perfect age to
start a YouTube channel, and this is the perfect
time to dive in. My age is my greatest asset
and I'm really proud of it. Notice how much more
powerful and on the nose that is than just
a generic, I am brave. This is why I think most people try affirmations and
they don't really work. They're just saying
generalized things. I'm brave, I'm
successful. I'm smart. Nothing wrong with
that, I can't hurt. But we're not really getting
to the root of where you feel like you're
not coming up. What's the phrase? We're not getting to the root
of the problem. If you're telling
yourself every day, I'm told told too old, your affirmation
needs to be custom tailored to that and flip it
in the opposite direction. If this doesn't feel genuine, if you're saying this to
yourself and you feel like, I can't get behind this. I want you to start
off the phrase with. I am in the process
of believing that. I'm the perfect age to
start a YouTube channel. This is the perfect time
and so on and so forth. I'm in the process of believing. We tell ourselves
something enough times, and we feel into it as we
say it and as we see it. Our brain begins to
mold in new ways and new little things
begin to light up. This is brain science. This is my loosely glosto
brain science. This is true. This is how I transform my life. I said, I'm wildly connected. I'm absolutely qualified to teach on the things
that I know well. Like all these things that
have been stopping me, I can earn X amount of money. I can work for myself full time. Five years ago, I would
have been absolutely not. But I rewired my brain and now I can't even think
about it the other way. This mindset work
is a huge piece. Take your limiting
beliefs and flip them to create
custom affirmations. Okay? I think I just said this, but I want you to make them your phone or your
desktop wallpaper, I want you to tape them
somewhere you can see them and recite them daily like
your mirror or your desk, even where you'll see it out
of the corner of your eye. Our subconscious mind is
picking up on everything. I want you to practice
saying them to yourself often because our brain
craves repetition. That's how we rewire it. It will feel a little clunky or a little
inauthentic at first, not because it's not
true or possible, but because excuse me, you've told the old
unhelpful story for so long. For so long. For some of us, this old story feels as true as the sun rises in the east. It feels that true and
that factual because we've said it to ourselves for
years, maybe even decades. Just move through the
discomfort and give yourself grace because you're
doing it exactly right. We all feel clunky when we
start. I certainly did. Okay? And begin to act as if Remember, I touched on this a little
bit in the last module or so, if there is actually
it was in Module one. If your idea of success
looks a certain way. How can you start embodying that where you
are with what you have? How can you be resourceful? If you're in the
process of believing I'm the perfect age to
start a YouTube channel, what actions do
you need to take? Do you need to buy
a $20 ring light? Do you need to write
down video ideas? You need to plan your
first video release? What do you need to do? This is your assignment.
I'm wondering if anybody's mind is blown. I'm sad I can't interact
with you in this moment, but just know I'm feeling
the light bulbs going off in the cosmicnss of it all. I will see you in
the next module.
5. Transforming a Fixed into a Growth Mindset: Welcome back to Growth
Mindset Mastery. The powerful secret,
Two, unlimited success. Let's dive into module four, Transforming a
fixed mindset into a growth mindset,
Growth mindset mastery. This is what we came
here to master. Let's go, What is
a growth mindset? It is the thing that all successful people
have in common. Researcher Carol Dweck says that a growth mindset
means that you thrive on challenge
and you don't see failure as a way
to describe yourself, but as a springboard for growth and developing
your abilities. Okay. Many times in life, maybe you have felt this way. I hear other people
speaking like this. We describe ourselves,
we say, I'm a failure. I'm a failure. Oh, I hate
the way that sounds. Right. Failure is
not who you are. It's not an adjective. It is an experience that we
learn from if we're smart. It's an experience that we leverage and we alcemize
into something great. And we alcemize into our next
big step in your talents. And you believe
that your talents and your intelligence can grow. This is a growth mindset. There's room to grow. You believe in your ability to become better through
your efforts. You believe that it
is worth it to try. You believe you can learn new information and take action. To do so, you engage in incremental
steps to improve yourself. You focus on trying
new things without fixating on the
outcome you keep. Even when you have challenges, successful people don't avoid challenges and they're
not immune to challenges. They just keep trying
when they face them. There's that word
again, neuroplasticity. The brain can change over time. When it is exposed
to new things, neurons create new connections. And this is all possible
through new experiences. When we move through this module and this course as a whole, you are going to master
this growth mindset. This is going to be your
new way of moving through the world and your dreams and it's going to
help you so much. Let's talk about a
fixed mindset, okay? There are times in
our lives where we fall into fixed mindsets. We've all experienced this, there's nothing wrong with that. It's human, it happens. It's about recognizing it and getting out of this pattern. So these are some
fixed mindset clues. Okay? You might say
something like, this is just who I am, this is me, this is who I am. No room for improvement, no room for growth,
no room to try. It feels it's filled
with limiting beliefs. The fixed mindset
avoids challenges. Gives up easily, believes that the abilities that
one has are fixed. I'm just bad at this.
I'm just bad at Spanish, I'm just bad at tennis. I'm just bad. We've all
heard people say this. As you move through this course. You're going to go
out in the world. You're going to
hear people talking at coffee shops and restaurants. You're going to hear them saying things like
this and you'll go. That's a fixed mindset, something that our brain
never picked up on before. All of a sudden you're going
to hear it all around you and you'll be able to notice when you're doing
it to yourself, the focus is placed
on the outcome. It's not like how good
you play the game, how good you try, how much fun you're having while you do it. The connections, the
relationships, the lessons. No, it's did you win
or did you lose? That is fixed. Growth
is about the process. The magic is in the middle. The magic is in the mess. A fixed mindset personality is threatened by the
success of others. It runs from error. It always wants to
look right or smart. Okay? If you have
a fixed mindset and you don't want to be wrong, you're not going
to push yourself. You're not going to go be
the least skilled person in any given room or space. There's nothing I love more than being in a room and
knowing I'm the worst at whatever it is that there are people around me who are
going to teach me so much. I love that. Okay, that's
such a key to success. They ignore negative feedback
even when it's useful. They don't want to hear it.
They don't want to hear it. They have to be right and
they have to be great. And they want their self esteem to be consistently reinforced. They'll stay at level one if they're always good
at level one, okay? People in the growth
mindset however, are moving up to level
two, level three, level four, and
they're tripping and they're slipping and they're getting back up and
they're learning. And they're trying
it another way and they're making their way because they're willing to try. They're willing to be bad. They're willing to
write a bad song or fall over when
they're trying to ice skate for the first time
or try a new trick, right? The growth mindset is
like your recipe for success because if you have a belief in your
mind about yourself. That you can figure
out anything. I can figure out anything I say that and it's
like ultimate truth. I really believe it. I believe that if
I really wanted to be an aesthetician or somebody who like repaired
cars or whatever the thing is, if I really set my
mind to it and I really wanted to do it,
I could figure it out. I might be bad at
it for a while, I might not know what I'm doing. But I believe I can
figure out anything. Say it to yourself, I
can figure out anything. I have this example where the fixed mindset is
the older gentleman, the grandpa, who the family
buys him a computer. The grandkids want
to send E mails, they want to face
time and he's like, I'm not going near the computer. Nope, I'm just bad at technology,
I'm bad at computers. I'm not doing, it's these opportunities for
connection that are lost. Then I think, like
three doors down, there's another gentleman the
same age or older who says, oh, I can figure out anything. I'm going to go to
the Apple store, I'm going to sit on the little
bench with my notebook. And I'm going to
learn how to do this because I want to
talk to my grandkids. It's this freeing thing of you look at any
challenge you think. I could figure that out,
I could figure that out. Then you go for it and you try, Okay, we find
inspiration in others. Success, we persevere in
the face of failures. We believe that our talents and abilities can be developed. I'm learning to play piano. I'm going to the gym
three times a week. What I mean, it's about allowing yourself to be in the process, be a work in progress. Let it grow, let it
develop the fixed mindset. Hates not being the best
so they don't even try. We find inspiration in
other people's successes. We lean into our errors. With the desire to correct, improve, We accept feedback
as a way to learn. We embrace novelty with the
desire to master new skills. We like seeing new things and doing new things and
trying new things. Thought that we'll be bad at it, it's like whatever, okay? Start doing this with low
stakes things in your life. Maybe you want to skateboard,
maybe you want to bake. What's something that you
can do in your front yard, or your backyard, or your
street, or in your kitchen? Give yourself permission to
try something new because the growth mindset enjoys
the challenge of growing. That is nature. That really is what's
natural for us to do. We grow physically in our bodies from the time that we're a baby, all the way till we, if
we're lucky to live so long. I don't want to say old,
but become old, okay. Nature is always
growing and evolving. And think about a little seed
becoming a big oak tree. All these things, I guess an
acorn becomes an oak tree. I digress. It is natural
for us to like to be challenged to grow and it
is the key to our success. Now that you have some context
and some understanding, and maybe you're reflecting on ways that you're holding yourself back in
a fixed mindset. I want you to have the tools and the inner dialogue where you can shift to a growth mindset. Sometimes we're all
going to have bad days or hard times, life is hard. Sometimes certain areas of life trigger each of us individually into a fixed mindset, okay? I speak to a lot of people who have problems with romance. It's very common to me. I don't have a fixed
mindset around that at all. I feel like that's the
easiest part of my life. But then I've had troubles around money, which I overcame. I had a big belief
around fitness. Oh, I'm just not fit.
I'm just not athletic. I'm just not strong
that I really intentionally shifted
to this growth mindset and made a big
transformation in my life. Okay, you can probably
see as you look around, money, fitness, career,
romance, friendships. There's probably an area where you have some fixed beliefs and I'm going to help you find some new words and
some new angles. Instead of telling yourself
I'm not good at it, choose to say I can do better. Instead of telling
yourself I can't do it, say I can, I am going
to figure it out. Instead of I do not have
the ability to learn, choose to say I want to
try and not give up. It's better to stick
to what I know becomes I want to
explore new ideas. I give up, It's beyond me. This one's beautiful.
I believe in myself, I believe
I'll find a way. I believe I'll figure
it out. I have fixed potential. It is possible. If I try, this is frustrating. It's okay to fail. It's okay to fail.
I could wallpaper this whole house in all of
my failures. It's okay. It's wonderful.
It's actually fun. I would argue. It's fun to fail. I am who I am because I can
learn from my mistakes. This is, I just don't
know the way yet. I just don't know it yet. These are the phrases
that as you hear yourself in this left
column, saying it out loud. Saying it in conversation,
saying it to yourself. Notice it be kind to yourself. We're all evolving,
we're all imperfect. And choose to say
I can do better. It's okay. I just
don't know it yet. I can learn from my mistakes. I believe in myself, that
is a growth mindset. That is the secret. That's the secret.
Because when we say I'm not good at it, period. End of story. I
give up, I'm done. The next way you
would have tried. It might have worked and you might have
gotten your dream. But if you decide I can't do it, boom, done, That's it. I mean, how is success
going to come right? Set learning goals instead
of performance goals. This is one that has been a real illuminating thing for me because I'm somebody who went through school
like high achieve, high achieve, high
achieve, valedictorian. Like I push and it was
about performance. Then you try to start your
own business and then you try to stand out as an artist in
the entertainment industry. If you want longevity and you want to feel
happy and fulfilled, it can't be about
performance goals or you will just crack in half. Focus on learning every
day and growing over time. Instead of proving that
you're proving you're worth, proving that you're worthy. Instead of setting the goal
to be a professional runner, commit to running every day. How much more freeing
does that feel? And then you're going
to do it. You're not going to say, well,
I won't be a runner. My legs aren't that long and
I don't have training, No. Commit to running
every day instead of setting the goal to
be a famous singer. Commit to singing live
for people once a week. Instead of setting the goal
to be fluent in Italian. Commit to learning ten new
words each week, okay? These are baby steps, this is action, this
is growth, okay? And you can still have
this umbrella goal, this vision in module one I had. You dream really big. Don't ever lose that.
That's huge, okay? But if that's the only goal, and we're not
breaking it down into growth and learn and how we
can show up every single day. We're not going to feel
good and we're not going to experience success if we do. We're not going to feel
happy when we're there. Okay, I've been in
music for 17 years. I've had a lot of
amazing things happen, more days than not,
not much happened. It's like if I had
only made the goal, I want to be a big
famous singer, I probably would have
quit after six months. But here I am in year 17, 18 or whatever year it is. Because I'm focused on
the learning goals, I'm focused on the experience, I'm focused on my process. Successful people with
a growth mindset, focus on the process. It's really important. I want you to take the time to write out
some performance goals. Reflect back on what you really wanted and what you really
desired from module one. Go back to that
journal and say, okay, if my goal is to blank what are some learning goals and some growth goals I can set
that are in my control. Because if all of your goals require somebody else to
make something happen, okay, we're not going to, there's no longevity in that. There just isn't. This is huge. This is huge. Okay. You get to find joy in the
journey and enjoy the process. If you take one thing
out of this module, I want it to be
that I want you to look back on your
journey and say, you know what, I had
the time of my life, I had the time of my life
building that business. I had the time of my life
learning that instrument. I had challenges,
and I was tested, but oh my God, those
were my happiest years. No one can take that away from you no matter what
the outcome, right? It's amazing. This is a huge way to develop confidence and keep
moving toward your goals. To set the learning
goals. This is huge. Please please take the time, set these learning
goals. What can you do? Like I always say, what can you do with what you
have, where you're at? How can you get
the ball rolling? It's about momentum.
Then of course, there's the magic word yet. Okay, I want you to finish your sentences
with the word yet. I'm not a six figure earner yet. I don't have 5,000
subscribers yet. I don't have my dream house yet. I haven't met the
love of my life yet. I don't have my dream car yet. Yet opens up a world
of possibilities, yet lets you know that there is potential for you
to figure it out. Just the word alone carries this energy of it's
going to happen. I believe in it, and I'm
going to find a way. Okay, If you can do one
thing today, add the word. Yet successful people use this word and are
open to growth. With that said, make sure
you do the journaling. Add the word yet to the
end of your phrases, your reflections of the day. And make sure you go back in and mark down some learning goals. What can you do on a
daily or weekly basis? How can you enjoy the journey? I'll see you in the next module.
6. From Fear of Failure to Courage and Resilience: We are back with
module number five. Let me scroll over to it
and we will get started. Here we go from fear of failure to courage
and resilience. This one is so important, okay? Or biggest fear, failure, right? It seems so scary until
you start to do it. Often you realize that we hype up failure
so much in our mind. We process the
emotions of things. Not going to plan. This
is what actually happens. We process the emotions, then we get back up
with the new lessons learned. That's all failure is. We feel it, we acknowledge
it, and we get back up. If there's one thing I'm really good at, it's being resilient. I had a big disappointment yesterday in my artistic career. It was like a really big high, like I thought I got something
and then a really low low. I thought, you know what good
for me for going for this. I had to move through
the disappointment. I had to move through
the failure of it. But then you keep going. Okay. School and society teaches
us to be afraid of failure. I loved school and I was
terrified of failing. Failing is the best
thing I've ever done in my career, over and
over, and over again. I've never learned more than
the times that I've failed. It is the best thing we can do. Successful people
fail and fail often. I'm going to read
you some quotes about failure that I love. Just like take some deep breaths and let them wash over you. Thomas Edison said,
I have not failed. I have just found 10,000
ways that won't work. Okay. Talk about a growth mindset. A fixed mindset would have
tried one or two ways and said it doesn't work
and then moved on. Okay, Henry Ford said failure is simply the
opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently,
Winston Churchill. Success is stumbling
from failure to failure with no
loss of enthusiasm. I love that one. It totally ties into my belief that we get
to move through life, having the time of our lives
doing what we love the most, being in our purpose,
and figuring it out, and stumbling and
standing up again, and stumbling and
standing up again with no loss of enthusiasm. Jk. Rawlings says, it is impossible to live
without failing at something unless you live so cautiously that you might as
well not have lived at all. In which case you have
failed by default, that one was like that one hits. I want us to reframe failure because this is a key
secret to success. This is the growth
mindset thing. This is what successful
people are doing every minute of the day instead
of running from failure. I want you to be so
proud of them because the successful people
that you look up to have failed countless times, It is not as scary and bad as
we think it is going to be. Again, maybe I'm a weirdo, I think it's fun to say I threw all that
spaghetti at the wall, and most of it fell. But that one piece stuck. Every time I threw a
piece of spaghetti, I learned something new. Successful people know that their failures
don't define them. Successful people who fail have invaluable wisdom and
lessons that others don't. They know. It's just a detour. It's not the final
destination they know. And like please put your hand to your heart
with me as I say this, the worst fate is never trying. That will hurt way
more at the end of your life than looking back at all the things
that you tried. The road to success is
often filled with detours, roadblocks, and things
not going to plan. It is how you keep moving
that counts, Okay, remember the road to success is literally never a
straight line up. I don't know a single person who just has whoop that story. And there's no challenges or struggles or
questioning themselves or things didn't work
or we have to try a different way or something
was misunderstood. No success goes
like this and you get to define what that
looks like for you, okay? Maybe it doesn't have to be
so up and down, up and down. You know, I like to think of my success as kind of like who, Like I'm on a winding road,
but I'm getting there. It's how you keep
moving that counts. It's not whether
or not you fail, because if you're trying
to achieve success and you're trying to achieve the big dreams that you
laid out in module one. You are going to bump up against a failure at
one point or another. And I want us to
just desensitize ourselves from that word. Let's call it like a. You're going to fail
sometimes, okay? How do you keep moving?
How do you get back up? How do you keep
moving on that road? How do you keep having fun? How do you keep focusing on the learning goals rather
than the performance goals? Right? This is where
resilience comes in. This is something that we build, we consciously build and create
like a muscle at the gym. Successful people are resilient. This doesn't happen overnight. You become resilient by, even when you're uncomfortable
and you're like, I just want to
crawl under a rock. I've had many moments like that. You become resilient by
purposefully choosing to stand back up when
everything crumbles. It is the ability to dust yourself off and
get back up again. It is another
muscle, like I said, that builds over time. This is a skill. Resilience and confidence
are both skills that you earn and you work
toward and you strengthen. Successful people feel what
they need to feel, okay. Things can be disappointing. I don't want you to ever
bypass your emotions. There's nothing in this
course is going to tell you that a successful person
never feel disappointed. A successful person
never has a meltdown, or cries, or calls
their mom and says, I don't know what I'm doing. My poor mom has to hear
that once in a blue mood. And she's like, You're fine. She's right, I am fine. I'm just in a moment of re
routing when I call her. Being successful
and resilient is not about being numb or stoic. Cry your eyes out when you need to and then give it another go root back into your
Y from module two. Why does this matter
to you so much? Why do you want this? How is this going to
transform your life? Okay, How can we get back to having fun and
having it feel good? I don't want you to like hustle. Hustle, struggle, struggle. Hustle, hustle,
What's the point? Okay, how can we stand back up and get back
to feeling good? I've lost count of my failures, and that's why they're less
of a big deal over time. Okay. The first one is hard, the second one is a
little less hard, the third one is a little
less hard as time goes on. Sometimes I don't even notice, like I'll send a pitch E mail to somebody and I'll just
forget I sent it. And somebody will say, oh, did you hear back
from so and so, and I'll say, oh, I
forgot I even sent it. No, I didn't hear
back. And they'll say, oh, that must be disappointing. And I'm not really, I've sent probably hundreds and hundreds
of pitch e mails, you know what I mean?
Builds over time. Rejection auditions,
flopped, launches, these things don't define me, and these things
don't define you. I ask myself, and I invite
you to ask yourself, what can I learn from this? And how can I keep
going with new wisdom? I know in school we were taught the worst thing
you could do is fail. But in Juliet's school here, okay, I want you
to fail sometimes. I don't think it's required.
I would love for you to have a success story
where it all goes, right? Every single time of
your whole life, okay? But I've never
heard that happen. Maybe you'll be the first. I want you to experience failure
and stand back up again. I want you to be resilient. I want you to have courage. Successful people
display great courage. Courage is moving in
the face of fear, it's not waiting for
the fear to disappear. Courage is moving, even
when we feel doubt, not waiting for the
doubt to vanish. Courage is moving. Courage is moving and momentum, because successful people
move the move forward. They do things, they experiment, they get back up like
it's about movement. This is where I need to talk about taking inspired action. Okay, just really quickly. Before I do, I just
want to repeat. Courage is moving in the
face of fear and doubt. Not waiting for the fear
or the doubt to disappear. The fear and the doubt can
come along for the ride. Successful people
are not fearless. Successful people simply
move even though they are a little bit afraid sometimes or a lot a bit afraid sometimes. I've been terrified at different points in my career, and I've been a little nervous. And I've had stage, I've had all of different fears come up, or feelings of imposture
syndrome, or what am I doing? And everyone's going to know I'm a fraud even though
I'm not a fraud. I'm sure you can relate
to that feeling. We've all felt it, okay. It's about moving forward, it's about taking
inspired action. Inspired action is a
really unique feeling and action really okay, because it's not just doing things that we think
we should be doing or that that person over
there is doing to get where they want to be
or even what I'm doing. It's about really tuning
into your intuition and noticing what comes up and doing what action
feels right to you. Okay? These thoughts might
come in that say, I wonder what would
happen if such and such. Or wouldn't it be cool if those are your
inspired action cues? Okay, if you have
thoughts coming in, I wonder what would happen
if I created a course. I wonder what would
happen if I wrote a book. I wonder what would
happen. Or wouldn't it be fun if I planned
this amazing event. That is your inspired action. That is the bright Neon
sign you're waiting for. You don't have to have things in perfect alignment
before you move. I'm going to ask you honestly, are you procrastinating
or are you making excuses, which
is very common? Are you waiting for things to be just a lined up all your
little ducks in a row? Or are you taking bold steps on a daily or weekly basis toward
your desires and goals? Are you being semi consistent? Are you taking
regular ish action? I'm being really generous
with that. Okay. Because a lot of
people can build great things and they don't need to spend 8 hours a day on it. You can spend like 5 hours
a week spread out harbor. You want? You can
spend 20 minutes a week spread out
harbor you want. But are you moving? Are moving, even though it's
not perfect. Are you moving? Gosh, I wish this background was pink and glittery and more
in alignment with my brand. What am I going to wait to redo the whole No, I'm
going to record. Okay, what are you waiting for? This module, it's
really important that you sit down and
create an action plan. Because learning about
the growth mindset and the secrets to success, it's all really important. But it doesn't change your life or lead to the
outcomes you desire. If you're not taking
leaps and risks, like if you just move through
this and you're like, wow, that was all
really interesting. I feel enlightened and you
continue to not do anything. You might as well have read
a children's book, right? It's about taking leaps and risks and action
and moving forward. How do you want
your life to look one year from now? What
do you want it to be? We can work backwards. Okay. What do you have to do each month to reach that goal? What goals can you set that
are within your power to do like the learning goals rather than what's it called,
performance goals? Write yourself a 12 month plan and commit to taking action. You can adjust your
plan at any time. I make plans for myself
and sometimes they shuffle or I'll add
something in or I'll take something out that
doesn't excite me anymore. Right? It's, it's your life. But this exercise,
for some people, it's going to be extremely helpful because you'll
say, you know what, In one year I want
to have X amount of customers or I want to have
released X amount of songs. What do I need to be doing in January and February and March? What are my goals? Okay, This is what
successful people do. We commit, and I
believe you can commit. There's also this concept called the ladder
of believability. Okay? So if right now you're
living in, I don't know, like a room and you share
it with five people, okay, And you are like
a year from now, I'm going to be in an
eight story mansion. It's possible. I will never
tell you that's not possible, but you have to believe it. You have to get your
energy behind it. It might be easier and
this is purely example. If you can get your energy
behind that, please do, okay. But if it's more believable for you to
say, you know what, I share a room with five people, I want my own apartment
within one year. What is a stretch for you? But it does feel
possible somehow, right? Like feel the edges of what you believe is possible and just
push on them a little bit. What can you get
your belief behind? What can you get your energy
behind this compounds? Over time, things that I'm
doing right now in my life did not possible or believable
to me like five years ago. We all grow and quantum leap, if you will, at our
own pace, okay? We all are able to
believe different things. Just know that you get to keep pushing yourself in a
way that feels like, oh, I can actually
accomplish that. It's a stretch. It would be
a jump from where I am now, but I can get my energy there. I really feel like I
can do that. Okay. When you're making
your action plan, I want you to consider the
ladder of believability. And like I always
say, I want you to dream gigantically big. But just know you can
get there in steps. And in fact, it's more sustainable sometimes to
get somewhere in steps. Think about the people who
like people who become major athletes and they
come into lots and lots of money and then it's all
gone within a year or two, or people who win the lottery. And then it's all gone
within a year or two. They went into a realm
that they didn't feel energetically ready for, they didn't know
how to handle it. Ladder, believability can be a good thing if you
don't like that. If you want to just dream gigantically big dreams and say I'm going to get
there in one year. I have full faith you can do it. It's an option. I like
doing it this way. You can do it however you want. I want you as you create
this action plan to come back into this day and
this moment, okay? Because we're
thinking a lot about the future successful people do. We're always like thinking
about next quarter, next year, next season,
like it's very normal. We're always thinking ahead. There's nothing wrong with that. It's a beautiful
gift to know how to do that and plan for it. But our point of power
is here and now. Okay. One step at a time. The time will pass anyway. I think this to myself, when I'm walking on the
treadmill at the gym, I think, gosh, it doesn't
feel like it in this moment. But every literal
step I'm taking over time is adding up to this healthy lifestyle
that I'm working toward. Every post on Instagram, it may not feel like it
at the time like oh wow, that's one only got nine
or ten likes right? Over time. These things compound the time is
going to pass anyway. Allow yourself to
take each step. Be in the moment,
be in the present, be in your point of power. Enjoy the process along
every step of the way. That's success. To me, that's how you get there. Because you won't burn out. Because you'll be enjoying
yourself on the way, okay? I want to teach you success and growth from a place of
you don't learn from me, and then you go
burn yourself out. I want to hear back
from you in one year, two years, five years. I want you to say, I am
still following those tools. I am still following
those techniques. I cannot believe where
my life has led me. I've been having the
best time again, what can you do where you
are with what you have? Be creative and open minded. Ask for help and support. So many of us are afraid. We don't want to ask anybody for any help, any support, right? I can do it by myself.
It's like a 23 year old. I will do it by myself. I used to teach preschool. I was a lot of that. Do you want me to
help you with that? I can do it by myself. We don't have to do
everything alone. Okay. How can you ask for help, support, advice?
Notice your excuses. Is this excuse your ego
trying to protect you? Is there a second gain from
staying right where you are? This is common. I can't do this because I
don't have a new enough phone, like my phone takes video, but it's not great video, so I can't start
posting to Youtube. You could, why don't you do what you
can with what you have and start
building something. Are you perhaps
telling yourself this because you are protecting yourself from putting
yourself out there? Something to consider? That
could be a second game. Okay, so here are some confident
affirmations regarding failure because remember we're re framing failure
here in this course. It is safe for me to fail. It is safe for me
to get it wrong. It is safe for me
to be rejected. It is safe for me
to start all over. It is safe for me
to be seen trying. I want to say that one again. It is safe for me
to be seen trying. Everybody wants to be
seen winning, right? It is safe for me
to be seen trying. I am proud of my failures. I am proud of my attempts. I am proud of the
actions I take. I am proud of my resilience. I am proud of my bravery. I am proud of my determination. I am proud of my authenticity. I am proud of my vulnerability, and I can rise up and
overcome anything. Feel free to screenshot, write them in your
own handwriting. These are massively important, and I will see you
in module six.
7. Creating a Supportive Environment: Welcome back. We are about to jump right into
Module number six, which is creating a
supportive environment. This is crucial and sometimes
this isn't talked about, so I'm very excited to talk
about it with you here. Okay, So I have a question. Who surrounds you? Sometimes our success can be
hindered by our environment. It happens a lot. We
have the power to make certain changes and be intentional about
this though, okay? This is something we can
really pay attention to. And change though. We cannot change
other people, okay? We can control the amount
of time we spend with certain people or what we
choose to discuss with them. That is a hard lesson sometimes because we love certain people. We're so close with them, whether it's family or friends, but our ideas are just too wild, or our dreams are just too big. Or they come in with 1
million counterpoints to why it would never work out. It's really important that as a big dreamer and as somebody
on a path to success, you can create some boundaries. And you create an
environment for yourself, where you are nurtured
and where you can thrive. Are your closest friends equally ambitious or do they
laugh at your dreams? Is your partner on board
with your side Hustle? Or do they tell you it's an
unrealistic waste of time. Is your family
influencing you to stay on a path you know
isn't meant for you? I've heard a lot of
stories of people whose families really want them to be the Dr.
or the lawyer. And it's just not
in their heart. They know they want to do
something else, right? We don't want to
disappoint anybody. We don't want to
let anybody down. But we have to do
what's right for us. Our vision of success
gets to be our own. Who do I feel lit up around? I want you to ask yourself that. Who can I dream big around? Where do I find
myself shrinking? Okay. There are people that we're going to
feel expansive around, and there are people that
are going to make us shrink. And it's not that
they make us shrink. To protect ourselves,
we pull our energy in. Okay? We have to remember
that we do have the power to redesign relationships in our life that are really
not nurturing us. What boundaries
can you set? Okay? Can you change the subject? Can you spend less time
with certain people? I know it's not
always this simple, but sometimes it is this simple. How can you prioritize more time with people
who encourage you? You, the people who are
talking in your ear all day. I have the most
supportive friends and family in the world and the most supportive
partner in the world. I could say right
now to any of them. Like, you know what, I'm going to go into
the hat business, I'm going to open
a Haberdashery. And they'd say, okay, that was a surprise,
but you can do it. Nobody would come up with
a reason why I shouldn't, and I'm very lucky for that. Very fortunate. And it
was also intentional, like there were certain
people that had a lot to say and I
just pulled back from those people because I'm a big dreamer, That's who I am. Okay, and I know you are too. Who surrounds you? Another question concerning
your environment and its impact on your success
is what are you consuming? What we consume matters. Our subconscious
mind is drinking up every bit of everything
we see with a straw. Now, I don't want you to get
too paranoid about this. I watch plenty of
reality TV to unwind. Okay, we're allowed to do that. But who are your role models? Who are you always
following on social media? Whose life views
and perspectives are you being influenced by? Are they people who complain or are they people who innovate? I want you to create like
an inspiration library. I want you to read and collect books that empower
and inspire you. I want you to listen
to podcasts and follow digital creators who
make you feel inspired, who invite you to
take action, to move. And I want you to bookmark this course and revisit
it time and time again. You can play my favorite
way to utilize courses like this that I've taken
is I'll log back in. I will play it in the background when I do my makeup or I
do my skin care routine, or I have breakfast. Like it's such a fun way
for me to start the day and get re centered with a teacher
that really lights me up. What are you consuming? And how is it making you feel? We tend to be the average of the five people we spend
the most time with. Okay. And this can include like the imaginary
characters in our life. Who are we reading about? Who are we watching
like constantly? Whose Tiktok are we
spending hours looking at? So I want you to make
some empowered choices. You are all, I don't even like to call them
guilty pleasures. I don't have any
guilt that I like, my early 2000 reality TV. Okay, it makes me happy, I'm allowed to enjoy that. But I wouldn't say I spend the most time of my day watching that because
it doesn't motivate me. So just keep an eye out.
What are you consuming? What is your space like? Okay. Maybe you're not presently in a big
house beside the ocean. That is a dream of mine. I know I'll have it some day in some form or something like
it or something better. And that's okay. Remember that the feelings and the
embodiment come first. Remember we talked
about that? We bring it into our reality. Now that's what we do first, whether you share a room or you live with your
parents or roommates, or you have your
own place, treat your space like it's sacred. Even if you have a little corner in a room that you
share with somebody, just treat your space
like it is sacred. Keep it clean and
tidy and organized. Remove and release clutter, and fill your personal
space with things that make you feel successful. Okay? Maybe there's a luxurious smelling
candle that you bought for $5 that smells like coastal flowers
and it makes you feel, I'm like, by the beach
I'm living my dream life. Maybe you put some motivational
quotes on the walls. Maybe you have your vision board hung up where you can see it. We'll get to that soon. Maybe you have a
silky pillow case. Maybe you listen to the sound of ocean waves while you
get ready for the day. How can you take your
space and elevate it? How can you set yourself up and your space up for success? This module is really
about environment. It's who are you talking to, what are you consuming, what is your space like? I'm not a firm believer in
like a strict daily routine. Some people really thrive
and love waking up and I journal for 30
minutes and then I sip my coffee and I
say my affirmations. I follow my intuition and I
do different things each day. I mean, I have some
non negotiables. I make the bed, I
get dressed like. We all have our own format. But see if you can tune
into these three things. Your space, the
company you keep, and the content you consume. If you want to create a morning
routine, a night routine, I don't believe that that
is going to lead one to more success than somebody who
just has a growth mindset. Somebody who's resilient,
somebody who's courageous, somebody who takes action, and somebody who keeps trying, and somebody who just
finds joy in what they do. I think that's way more impactful than I
wake up in journal. But if you left a journal,
do that. You see my point. Okay? I just want you
to know that there's some really key
things you need to look into for
success and growth. And there's other things
that might be helpful. But only do them if you want to. Only do them if it
gets you in the vibe. For me, I don't like doing the same day over
and over and over. I like mixing it up. Oh my God. I did not even remember. I put this slide next. This just let in
so perfectly okay. Do I need a morning routine? Do I need to wake up at 05:00 A.M. Do I need to work
out 10 hours a week? Do we need to follow
a specific regimen? Do I need to never eat
a dessert like does all my food have to be perfectly organic and high vibe
or whatever, right? This is all up to you. Okay? These are like little sprinkles you
can put on top of like a really juicy ice
cream cake filled with strawberries and chocolate
chips and everything. I'm giving you the cake, you can sprinkle on top
of it whatever you want. You can decorate it
however you want. Some people thrive on
routine, others don't. I'm a night owl, I stay up late. I am up until about 02:00 A.M. Most nights I've
tried to switch it, and I mean not to
be fixed about it, but this is how I like to live. I like to go to bed at
two and wake up at 11. That's my day, okay? And I'm successful. Some people say you
have to get up at 05:00 A.M. Maybe that's not for
you, it's not for me. Success is about
a growth mindset and a determination
to keep going. It is not about what
time you wake up, because if you wake up
at 05:00 A.M. but you are still stuck in a
fixed mindset now. You're just up at
05:00 A.M. okay? But if it makes you
feel successful, if it gets you in the energy, if you're like, I'm
awake before everybody, I'm going to get started. If you love that, if
you thrive on that, please do it.
Decorate your cake. Put those sprinkles
on however you want. I will see you in module seven. We're going to talk
about vision boards, visualization, and meditation. It's going to be very fun.
8. Vision Boards, Visualization, Meditation: Welcome back. We are
moving into module seven, which is one of my favorites. We're going to share some tools, how to use vision
boards effectively. The magic of
visualization and of meditation on your
success journey. I have some secrets to an
effective vision board. Check, check. I have blown myself away
with vision boards over the past few years
and I want to teach you my tricks for vision
boards that work. This is a wonderful tool. This is where you take what you journaled about in module
one, your deepest desires. Maybe now you even have
more clarity on them. Okay, Go to Pinterest or go to Google Images and
find pictures of things that represent
those desires. This is your visual
road map. Okay. This is going to be your
most successful life on one. Beautiful collage images
are better than words. This vision board
has some things I like and some
things I don't like. See how it says like more sleep, more music, more tea. That doesn't make
me feel anything. I just think, oh, that's nice, right, Even though it's
a great sentiment. But the image of the person stretching right above
it on the yoga mat, on the sand, I can feel that
a picture says 1,000 words. Use more pictures on your
vision board than words, emphasis on the feeling. If the picture you
pick, you're like, oh, that's pretty but
you're not going. Yes. Yes. That is what I want. That is so exciting. That is
what I'm working towards. It's not the right
picture, okay? You don't have to have gigantic
fireworks in your heart, but you need to feel some
emotional excitement when you see the pictures. Ideally, every photo will
spark something in you. Then I want you to do
this special secret trick where you're going to trick your subconscious mind
in a wonderful way. And you're going to
add two pictures into your vision board
of things you have already accomplished that way. Your subconscious mind looks
at this collage and thinks, oh, this is what we're doing, this is what's attainable. Maybe for instance, if
you look in the middle, it's like, oh yeah,
we went to Paris. That was a picture
from our trip. And I'd like to
call in more travel and more travel is
possible because look, we went there or oh,
we went to that beach. There we are, walking
down the stairs and I want to call
in more adventures. And obviously that's easy for
me because I already do it. Put two pictures on your vision board of
things you've already accomplished. I've
done this every time. It's worked like magic. Here are some ways you can use your
vision board right now. It is my phone wallpaper. This is not my
specific vision board, but it was a good one. I thought I would
put it because it had some notes I
could give. You. Can put it as your
phone wallpaper, your computer wallpaper.
You can print it out. You can tape it up in your room. You can meditate with it. You can look at it while
you drink your morning tea. Whatever you do, have it
where you see it often. You don't need to spend like
how many minutes a day? How many hours a day do I spend looking at this? It's
not really about that. It's about glancing at it, getting excited,
getting reignited, feeling the excitement, and
moving forward and taking your big action and
focusing on the progress. Okay, my instructions
for you are to put it together to feel
really good and whenever you see it,
just feel really good. When you see it feel inspired. Remember your Y.
Put in visuals on your vision board that represent your back from module two. Give it a bigger context. You can change it as
your desires evolve. It is not a fixed vision. I change mine up like
every six to 12 months. As I feel inspired, I think, oh, I already did this. I already did that. Oh my
gosh, I made this happen. This thing over here
I'm less excited about. Let's swap that out. It's
your vision board, okay? You can do this once a month. It's whatever you want to do. If you don't hit every
goal, that's okay. Imagine that. It's okay. Celebrate the ones you
have accomplished. Our success happens at its
own pace sometimes, right? Remember the magic word? Yet, so many people put off celebrations and they put off the joy and it
leads to burn out. They think, well, I
put nine things I accomplished five of them I didn't accomplish
the other three, so I'm not going to
celebrate myself. Please don't do that
you accomplish, if you even take steps towards accomplishing
that one thing, that one feeling, that one
passion, Celebrate yourself. Big and small wins, whether you pop the champagne
or bring home the balloons, or do a dance in
your living room, or take a walk or get a coffee. Whatever celebrating
means to you. Successful people, or I should say happy
successful people. Both big and small wins. I am always running out
and getting a balloon. Or a little cupcake, or I just I want to
have fun on my journey. I want to celebrate
every time something on my vision board
becomes my reality. Realize the magic that a picture that was on a vision board is
now your life. Okay? You've taken something from the two dimensional flat realm and made it into the three
D, you transformed it. Isn't that amazing? How is it any less amazing
that you did six things, but not nine things
on the vision board? Okay? You can change it
as often as you want. You're going to celebrate the
goals that you're hitting and the progress you're
making towards them. And you're going to
have fun along the way. And you're going to look
at this vision board and it's going to inspire you. And it's going to be
your blueprint and your roadmap in a visual form, and it's going to
make you feel good. I will say there are going
to be times when you look at that vision board and you
go, can I really have that? Can I really do that?
The answer is yes. Return to your limiting belief
crusher exercise and say, actually there's no reason why I can't, there's no real reason. Okay, all these modules, I know I have them in a specific order and I did this on purpose, but know that you're
going to move through the work and the tools, and the techniques
at different times throughout the month, the day, the hour even. And that's okay. I
want to talk about visualization because some
people might pass it off. It's like, oh, you're
just daydreaming. Let's talk about
why visualization is proven to be
extremely important. Our brains cannot distinguish
and this is a fact, whether we are physically experiencing something
or simply imagining it. Reality and imagination
are the same. This is why imagining
is so important. I will emphasize again, taking the action,
building momentum, showing up every day, or however you plan out
your 12 month plan. That's huge too, But it
is good to day dream. It is good to visualize. According to the International Coaching Academy's Neuroscience and Visualization
Research paper, if you exercise an idea
over and over in your mind, your brain will begin
to respond as though the idea was a real
object in the world. When we imagine we are lifting our left hand, for instance, Our brain does the
same movements, the same little parts light
up and things get center around as if we were actually
picking up our left hand. I just picture it's, I can feel myself
thinking of it. Okay. Stroke victims are
able to keep parts of their brain alive
through visualization. This one blew my
mind. A study from the Cleveland Clinic
Foundation in Ohio found out that people who worked out had a 30%
muscle increase. People who just visualized it had a 13.5% muscle increase. They just lied down or they sat and they thought
of themselves lifting the weight
and they envisioned it, their muscles responded. What? Picturing yourself
accomplishing your goal is crucial to actually
getting it done. I want you to give yourself
permission to fully, fully visualize, to put on some relaxing music
or your favorite song. And close your eyes and
see yourself there. And bring that feeling
into the present moment because our brain doesn't
know the difference. Mental practices can
enhance motivation, increase confidence
and self efficacy, improve motor performance, prime your brain for success, and increase states of flow, all relevant to achieving your best life, says psychology. Today I think about
the athletes who visualize themselves
playing the game before they go out
and play the game. And how the coach says
you need to visualize. It's not just like
silly daydreaming, it's part of their practice. You can visualize with music
like I said, or in silence. You might be asking, how
often should I do this? Okay, regular visualization is key if you want to take 5
minutes a day and do it. If you want to take 5 minutes
a week and do it okay, but just keep it consistent. Whatever works
into your schedule and your life and
whatever you like to do. Before I go to sleep, I
put in some vibe music in my little headphones
and I just visualize. And it's a lovely way to
drift off to sleep too. I'll tell you what,
Imagine the future. This is how you're
going to do it. You have already achieved your goals and you
feel successful. Everything on your vision
board is your present reality. Everything you wrote down in
module one is your life now. Oh, my heart just got warm. Hold a mental picture
of it as if it were occurring to you
right at that moment. Imagine the scene
in as much detail as possible, the feelings of it. And I don't get too
much into energy in this course, but what we Is like energetically so huge. What we feel is what we
call in is what we attract. Okay? I need you to feel
the feelings of it. Don't just picture it like
you're watching a movie. Feel it as if it's happening
to you as if it's yours. Train your brain that
this is what's coming. Engage as many of
the five senses as you can in your
visualization. Who are you with? Which emotions are you feeling right now? What are you wearing? Is
there a smell in the air? Do you smell like this
salt of the ocean? What do you hear? What's
in your environment? Notice any doubts
if they come to you and just refocus back
on your visualization. Our brain will love to
get chatty and say, this isn't real and you
say, thank you so much. Go back to where you came from. I am here in this
moment and I'm holding my trophy and I'm
holding my Grammy and I am signing the paper because
I just bought the home of my dreams and I'm holding the baby because
they're here, right? Get into that feeling. Meditation is another one that I cannot not mention
a success secret. Meditation lowers
stress and anxiety. It helps you focus. It lowers
your resting heart rate. It increases your
ability to visualize, and it improves mental clarity. Whenever I feel
confused, I meditate. Some people meditate every day. I tend to do it when I'm feeling like I
need some clarity. You can meditate
with a clear mind or with a guided audio. I want you to listen to
and take full advantage of the powerful guided
success meditation that is included in this course. It's a fabulous time to
practice visualization. There's beautiful music. I guide you through the whole thing. If you're somebody
like me who doesn't like to just sit
alone in silence, it can be amazing and there's
a lot of benefits to it. But I like being guided. Gives my brain something to do. Okay, you're going to love
the success meditation. You're going to listen to it over and over
and over and over, and over and over
and over again. I'm already so excited for you. Oh, I guess it's time
to end this module. But yeah, the last
thing I'll say about meditation is again,
like visualization. How often do I do it? Am I doing it for long enough? You get to decide this for
yourself, you really do. You might want to
do 5 minutes a day. You might want to do
10 minutes a week. You might want to listen
to the success meditation every Sunday night before
you start your week. You get to decide it's
about doing things consistently in a way
that makes sense for you. Again, if you're
meditating all the time or just like if you're
getting up at 05:00 A.M. But you don't have this growth mindset and you're not taking action and you're
not celebrating your progress and
your learning goals. And you're not moving.
And you're not being brave. You're
not being courageous. The meditation is just
something nice to do. But meditation is like more
decoration on the cake. Meditations like the icing
that goes all around it and looks really pretty
and tastes really good. Don't sleep on meditation. Okay, I can't
recommend it enough. I will see you in our next
and final module. Can't wait.
9. Embodying the Successful Person: Welcome back to our
eighth and final module. And something
really special just happened in the last module. I said I don't get into energy
too much in this course. And as I said it, I
thought, you know, I really should like,
how do I not like? Why wouldn't I mention that? Because this course came through me in this
crazy download. It all came together
really fast. I put these presentations
together and then I've taken some time before
I sat down to record it. We're going to talk
about energy in module eight and I'm so excited. I'm like thanking past version Juliet for
setting this up the way, how do we embody the
successful person? How do we make it a part of our identity that
I am successful even if my outside circumstances don't quite reflect my goals, dreams and desires and
achievements that I want. Yet, how do we embody? I'm going to tell you so we need a little context, some
energetic context. And this is where we talk a little bit about
quantum physics, which I could talk
about forever. I love it. Okay? You know that we have our cells, and inside of our
cells we have atoms. And inside of the atoms there's protons, neutrons,
and electrons. Right? And that's like,
as far down as we know, as much as we can blow up in a microscope inside our atoms, the smallest little particle
we know of in our bodies, in everything in this table, in this wall,
everything is atoms. Everything is atoms. Okay? 99.999 9999, 9% of
that space inside of our smallest particle
is nothing, is energy. That means that if we pulled out all the energy and we just left the actual
physical matter, the entire human race, 7 billion people or so, could fit inside a sugar cube. We're all energy. When I learned this, I
said, that can't be. I don't think so.
No, it is the truth. It is the truth. And I
do believe that we're not taught it on like a big
collective societal level. Because if we knew
this, we would be blown away by how powerful we are and by how much we can truly control and
manipulate and manifest. Right? Why do we underestimate how important energy is
when it is literally every, if I think about it too much, my brain starts to spin. Okay? So think about it just enough to gain the context and the understanding that we're all made of energy, 99% right? So to embody this
successful person, we've got to get in the energy. It's about our energy. We all know somebody who is larger than
life as they enter a room or somebody who
has that it factor. Somebody who radiates success even when you know
nothing about them. They just walk by
and you're like, that's a successful
person, you just feel it. You feel it in their energy or they walk in the room and
everybody's head turns. My favorite example of
a person like this, it is probably Cleopatra. Because historically there's, there's a lot of
different debates over whether or not she was actually the most beautiful woman
in the world, right? Some people believe, many people believe that was a
rumor that she spread. But it was her
personality that was so magnetic and so
big and just, oh, her energy was like, oh God, should I teach
a Cleopatra course? Oh my gosh. Look her up. Okay. I fully believe that any of us can
tap into that energy. The Cleopatra energy, the
larger than life energy, that person is successful. I can just feel it, that
energy at any time. I believe that it
is possible for me and I believe it
is possible for you. Okay. We get to decide what our energy feels like and how much
space it takes up. I know I'm getting a little out there in this last section, but I promise there's like science and truth
in all of this. You are not here to play small
or live a half lived life. That's not why you came here. That's not why any
of us came here. I just don't believe it. Play with the energy
of bigness, okay? A lot of we all have like an
energy field. Everything. This microphone,
everything the phone has an energy field, okay? I love visualizing
my energy field. Sometimes we keep it rather
tight and close to us, especially if we're
working around other people walking
through crowds at the mall, at a theme park,
whatever, it safe. And it makes sense
to keep it close. Successful people know
how to expand, okay? Play with the energy of bigness. Envision your energy
filling your whole room. Imagine it reaching
all four corners. And then imagine it stretching out to your whole neighborhood, your whole city,
your whole town. You can try it as I talk you
through it, your country, the world, the successful person spreads out their energy. And if you can even take it
from here to three feet away, that you're going to notice
a shift in your life, okay? If space is infinite, your bigness does not
take away from anybody. You get to be as
big as you want. And it doesn't take
away anything from anybody because there's
nothing but infinite space. And it's getting more big
and more infinite every moment your success inspires
others to succeed too. Before all of my
accomplishments. Okay, this is a little
spiritual, but I love this. Before all of my
accomplishments happened, there was a moment where I wholeheartedly believed
that it was done. In the invisible
realm, it is done. Okay. So for instance, when I was in my relationship, before I got proposed to, in my heart, I knew it was done. I would get the
ring on my finger. It would be this ring
in this exact style. We would plan a wedding. It was it was done. I moved from that place. I do this in other
areas of my life too. This is the difference
between deciding and trying, trying to, okay. I decided I was going to make an extremely valuable and
clear and amazing course to help people live their
most successful lives. I'm imagining you're gathering
that energy from me. I don't think I give
off an energy of like, well, I'm going to try
and see how it goes. Very different vibes. Decide that it is done, the things that you listed, the things on your vision board, decide that it is done and it is yours if it was already done. This is how we embody
the successful person. How would I act?
How would I feel? What steps would I take? How would I move through life knowing that it is
already destined for me? How would I move
through mistakes, failures, knowing that
I would ultimately succeed and find a way? We've all seen the story
of a celebrity who says, remember my name, you're
going to know me then. We know them. They
lead with that energy. They knew it was done,
they knew it was done. There was like no
doubt about it. And of course, they
had difficult days and of course they
had breakdowns, and of course they had failures. But they embody the
person who had it, who did it, who achieved it. Okay. A common mistake
is waiting for the accomplishment before
you embody the success. I want you to remember that everything we
do is energetic. I want you to embody
that success and move through life like it's already yours and it's already done. If I was the person who
has this type of business, or this type of career, or
this type of relationship, what would I do today? What would I do
now? How would I, what choices would I make?
Where would I invest? Like, what risks would I take it if I knew I was
going to have it? Okay? This isn't about
being delusional. It's about deciding
something for your life. And then moving with the
joyful anticipation that it's coming and that you're doing
your part on a daily basis. I have some inspiring quotes to live by another Henry Ford. Whether you think you can
or you think you can't, you're right, decision,
Albert Einstein. We cannot solve problems with the thinking we employed
when we came up with them. This is where the
mindset piece comes in. Tony Robbins says,
setting goals is the first step in turning the
invisible into the visible. Setting goals, deciding
committing, taking action. Then Calvin Coolidge said, nothing in the world can take
the place of persistence. Talent or not. Nothing is more common than unsuccessful
men with talent. Genius, unrewarded genius
is almost a proverb. Education will not, the world is full of educated delicts. The slogan, press on has solved, and always will
solve, the problems of human, of the human race. It's like I said, you can
be totally brilliant. You can wake up at 05:00 A.M.
You can meditate every day. You can do all the things. You can be smarter than
anybody else on an IQ test. You can have more
education than anybody. But if you don't have
a growth mindset, if you don't believe
that, it's possible. If you don't believe,
you'll find a way. If you're not persistent
and resilient, and courageous, it doesn't
matter. It doesn't matter. So as you embody the
successful person, remember what your
values are, okay? Is it more important to you that you're the smartest
person in the room? Or is it more
important to you that you're the most
unwilling to give up? And which person is
going to go farther? Right, here are some
final thoughts. Okay, I'm going to
reiterate this again. Move through your day. And move through your life as if what you desire is already here. Trust that it will be yours. Your energy leads and
life follows. Okay? This is just the way it works because
everything is energy. We lead with our energy, with intention,
and life follows. And be sure that you're taking inspired action every
day, no matter how small. I want you to be the person who makes moves. I
said this earlier. I want you to reach out to me in two months, three months, four years, however
long, And say, oh my gosh, I took
inspired action. I kept my mind in
the right place and you would not
believe where I am now. Okay, this is not a pipe dream. This is how it works. This is how successful
people are doing it. They are determined, they are resilient, they are courageous. They are flexible,
and they are brave. I want you to use the tools in this course to help you
build up these muscles. Everything I just
mentioned determined, resilient, courageous,
flexible, brave. We build this up
over time, okay? Do one rap at a time. And we build it up by being it. Even if we're scared,
we show courage. Even if we feel fixed. We've been fixed
for a long time. It's time to be flexible, okay? Even if we have doubt,
it's time to be brave. Even if we fail, it's
time to be resilient. Progress and journey is more important than
the final destination. Because the progress and
the journey is your life. I want you to enjoy this. Know that you are
inherently worthy. I cannot wrap up
this course and talk about the energy of a
successful person and embodying that energy
without mentioning this. Okay, you are inherently worthy. There is nothing more that
you need to do to be more worthy of everything that you dream of achieving.
You were born worthy. It was this piece of you
that came in with you, and it'll be with
you till you go. And nothing can touch it and
nothing can make it smaller. We can have pain, we can
have difficult experiences. But I truly believe that our inherent worth
is untouchable. That's my personal belief. If anyone can do it, you can. I believe in you. There is no rule
that says otherwise. Okay. Oh, I have a chill
as I'm about to say this. Your success begins
right this very second. I want you to give it
everything you've got. You have done something that a lot of people
aren't going to do. You not only invested in yourself and you got
this amazing course, but you made it to the end. Do you know how many people watch 5 minutes and
then they get busy and they decide it's not
important or they get triggered and they're not
ready to do the work yet. You made it to the
end. Okay, You are determined you are capable, you are worthy everything
that you want. I believe you can
achieve all the tools in this course and all the mindset shifts and all the
techniques and the tips. This is what it takes. I said it at the very beginning. This is timeless wisdom. This is the way people have been navigating success for
hundreds of years. Even as technology changes and things change all around us, this stuff will remain relevant. You get to revisit
this anytime you wish. It is My Honor, and my privilege that I got to work with
you in this course. Please reach out to me. Find me on Instagram

10. Success Guided Meditation Video: Welcome to your personalized
success guided meditation. This was created for
those of you with big, incredible dreams to support
you on your journey. To remind you what is possible, and most importantly to
reconnect to who you are. I want you to begin by taking some deep breaths in through the nose and out
through the mouth, or breathe in whatever way
feels most comfortable to you. And allow your body
to fully relax, Whether you're sitting
down or lying down, do what's right for you, just come home into this moment. During this time, you might
have thoughts creep in. You might need to wiggle
or scratch an itch. I want you to know that
all of that is okay to do. You are meditating perfectly just by listening to my words. I will guide you
through each step. Your job is to simply relax. During this meditation,
I am going to share some important
messages with your subconscious
mind to help you rewire for the greatest
possible success imaginable. Do your best to allow these
messages to be true for you. If you feel resistance, take note that is a place
where you can grow. Now I want you to imagine your most successful day playing out from
start to finish. Imagine yourself
waking up and walking through life as the version
of you you wish to become. What are you wearing? What's on your
calendar for the day? Who are you talking
to on the phone? What does your bank
account look like? What does your living
situation look like? How do you genuinely feel? Allow yourself to
fully lean into this vision and know that
if this wasn't possible, you would not be able to see
it as clearly as you do, tap into this energy and get ready to receive
your new truths. You are the person
who wins in life. You are the person where everything you touch
turns to gold. Even if it fails, you learn a lesson
worth more than gold. You cannot mess this up. You are the kind of person
who rewrites their own story. You are the kind of
person who motivates and inspires others
without even trying. You are the kind of
person who stands out, who rises up and who finds
a way no matter what. You are the kind of person
who knows that it's possible. If it can happen to anyone, it can happen to you. You are the kind of
person who proves people's doubts and limitations wrong time and time again. It is simply who you
are and what you do. You are the person
that is the first, maybe in your family, maybe in your friend group, but you're a trailblazer. You are the person
with staying power. You are the kind of
person who understands the long term vision and you put in a little bit of
valuable work every day. You are the kind
of person who is committed and dedicated
to your dreams. You are the kind of person
who can always figure it out. And if not, you
know you will find the right resource or
person to help you. You are the kind of
person where money and opportunities flow
to you like magic. You are magnetic to
the things you desire. You are the kind of
person who is persistent, who has endurance, who doesn't
give up when it's hard. And you are the kind of person
who takes care of yourself beautifully throughout
every step of the journey, no matter what else is going on. You are there for you. You are the person who can create
your own kind of miracles. Whatever that means to you. Nothing is too out of reach. Nothing is too unrealistic. That word does not exist
in your vocabulary. You are a successful
person because you decide to be because you own that and you claim it fully and completely. Right now, you are meant for
amazing things. You are meant to leave
behind a legacy. You are meant to
have the time of your life doing
what you love most. You are successful. I believe in you infinitely. And so it is.
