2. Course Outline: Hi. Welcome to the course. My name's Giuseppe. And in this video, I'm going to give you an introduction on what we're going to be covering for out this course. So if you haven't already bought the course, please go ahead. That's great content in here. All the stuff in this course I use personally myself. My productivity has shot through the roof, using the techniques I teaching this course now in the course, I go through a number off different Google chrome extensions. I show you my techniques on how high leverage them and I show you step by step some of the productivity hacks that I use personally. So big chunk of this course is centered around last pass. So, as I said in the promo video, if you're a type of person that has many online accounts and you feel overwhelmed by the amount of user name and password you're expected to remember or vice versa if you have the same password for every online account and last passes great for that, too, as you really need to protect yourself from having the same password across all your different accounts. This is really bad practice on in this day and age with cyber hacks happen around the world , it's really important that you protect yourself, and last part is great for this. Last past is essentially a Google chrome extension, which allows you to house all your online accounts in one location. The only password you're ever going to have to remember is your last past password. Now the great thing about last pass is that it is mobile optimized, so you can use it on your desktop on your mobile and going forward. Once you've gone through the last past section, you'll never have to remember any of your count you RL's your account passwords or your account user names. Last Pass even has a functionality to create passwords on your behalf. So again, you do not have to remember any of these passwords. It's all handled by this Google chrome extension, also housed in last past of things like your credit card details, WiFi passwords, billing addresses, delivery addresses. This is all handled within last past. Trust me, this is a really good time saver and something you're not gonna be disappointed with. If you're a bargain hunter like myself, you want to get the best deal possible online, then the Honey Google Chrome extension is for you. This extension helps you find the best deal possible when you're in your basket. Online shopping it's What you do is you add things into your check out basket. You let honey do its thing and run in the background, and that's gonna bring you discounts that are available on the Net. Also within honey, you can see the price drops off specific products, and you can also be alerted if a product drops to a price you're willing to pay for. So for all you e commerce shoppers out there, this is the extension for you. So do you want to collect free obvious points by doing your online shopping in the of your section? I'm gonna show you my step by step technique to collecting free, obvious points while doing your everyday shopping. Now, these obvious points, which can be redeemed globally, said, No matter what country you're in, this will work. But these points can be redeemed for flight upgrades, paying for your hotel or car hire or looking to book experiences globally. Now there's no credit card that needs to be taken out during this process, all you need to do it, sign up to the executive club and follow my step by step guide on how to accumulate free obvious points while doing your everyday online shopping. Do you find yourself getting distracted when you're supposed to be working? It's a good example of this is you. You know, you need to be having a productive our but you constantly visiting websites. You shouldn't be in a daily mail. Facebook. Now there's a Google chrome extension that can handle this for you. It can really help you keep motivated throughout the day by blocking various sites that you choose to block. This is a really good productivity extension that just keep you focused throughout the day when you need to be working, going to show you this. The two strategies I use for this extension is a couple of different ways to manipulate the extension. I'm gonna take you through that during the block Sites section. Now getting this is a really simple one to set up that has a massive impact on your day to day activities. So paint Editor, if you're a visual person like myself and you need to send annotations off a website or some type of screenshot and paint editor is really great for this. It allows you to door directly on your chrome browser, allowing you then to take screenshots of your annotations or anything you're trying to highlight. Paint Editor is also grateful Webcast, so if you're on a Webcast or in a Webcast meeting where you need to point out various sections off a website than paint editor of the extension for this. And lastly, I'm gonna show you my guide on using the Google calendar Chrome extension. Now, this is really a great time saver allowing you to access your Google calendar at ease again . It can take quick snapshots off the things you have for that day, and you can also add in events and invites really quickly through this extension. And I'm gonna show you how I leverage this for my own day to day tasks. So a lot of content in this course promise you you're gonna get a lot of value out. This last pass alone is enough to take this course because this is going to save you hours of time. That's gonna leave a lot of stress that you might have being overwhelmed by the amount of user name and password accounts you're having to remember. So I hope you enjoy the course. 3. Google Chrome Extension Introduction: So in this first section, I'm going to be taking you through what Google extensions actually are. How they're going to help you. What's going to give you a quick demonstration on how to install on uninstall Google chrome extensions? Now, again, this is a very easy process. You do not need to be technical in any way to do this. I'm also going to show you how to sink your Google Chrome browser with all your other devices. So what this will mean is all your Google crime extensions will be sink across all your different devices.
4. What Are Google Chrome Extensions?: so for would be a good idea for me to provide a video on what Google extensions actually are. So before we dive into how they're going to help you, improve your productivity and help you save time, are gonna give you a very quick overview off what Google extensions are. So Google extensions are programs that can be installed into chrome in order to change browsers functionality. This includes adding new features to chrome or modifying the existing behavior off the program itself to make it more convenient for yourself. Now, some examples off the Google crime extensions are available of things that will help you with blocking ads, optimizing memory, adding to do list or notes the chrome's password management. Protect your privacy and make Web browsing more secure. So these are just some of the things that Google chrome extensions can provide for you. Andi. In this course, I will be taking you through all of those things I just mentioned now. Overall, Google crime extensions offer ah wide range off functionality beyond the things I've just said. But in an idea, well, Google chrome extensions. They're there to make your life easier. Be out to give you more time back and improve your productivity. So how do you use Google extensions? How you use Google extensions depends on particular extension. Installed of some extensions, work in the background and perform particular task automatically. Over extensions will add menu options to the menu. When you right click on the Web page are shown here, the most extensions will also add small icons to the right of the address field in the browser, so you can see that here. Now these icons can be clicked on or right click to access the functionality off each extension. So here, currently I have installed is the obvious extension. Andi the password manager extension, which I'll be going through, indeed, how in this course. So where can you find Google crime extensions to install? So while some developers offer direct downloads off their extensions, the best place to install a Google chrome extension is from Google's chrome Web store. So this is a paid you're looking at now. Now, while this site is called a store on, there are some extensions that you need to purchase. The vast majority of extensions listed here are free. All the extensions are gonna be running new fruit during this course are all completely free. You won't have to pay for anything to get all the functionality. I'm going to be showing you now. Another thing to be careful off is reviews. So you really want to make sure you are looking at the reviews for any extensions you're looking to have a purchase or install for free. Now, all the extensions I show you in this court of all been vetted by myself and I'm a heavy user off. The more so you don't need to worry about the reviews and how much is going to help you in your productivity and how it's gonna help you save time. But any other extensions, I would check the reviews if our juice of for example, we have this custom curse that here, Just simply click on the reviews and you can just scan away and just see if it matches your needs. Now, custom cursors for crime are not really going to help you of your productivity or help you save time. So this is why I've not listed this one in my course. This is more of a gimmick that is not really going to help you or at any value, that's just a quick introduction into Google chrome extensions. In the next video, I'm going to show you how to install one of these extensions into your browser.
5. How To Install Google Chrome Extensions: So now you know what Google chrome extensions are in this video. I'm going to be showing you how to install a Google chrome extension now in their resource section. I'm going to link you to the Google Web store. But if you want to find it quickly, Ira, just bookmark it yourself. Or just simply Google Google Crime Extension. And they just simply click on his top link here, which will bring you to the chrome Web store. Now you can browse around the chrome Web store as you wish, but snapshot here is you have the editor pick extensions have game players well, recently updated here on the left. You can search by ratings only by features on then here you can make searches across the whole store to Let's go back to this custom cursor extension here. So to install this, you just simply click on it Here again. You have an overview of the extension here, so if you just click play that just gives us more of a trailer, you have the support available, related extensions as well. On then, other said in previous video. You have reviews, so Alex put here perfect, but I just want to find the second form off the stone cursor to make it my main PC kurta again. I personally don't use this extension as a bit too gimmicky for me, But let's go ahead and install it now the bottom. Here you have the version when it was last updated. This is a good indicator of how often a company is updating these extensions. It is. It hasn't been updated in the last five years. Then, depending on what extension it could really be. Of no use to you at all Have the size of the extension. The language is thistles. Currently in 54 languages onto the developer is again here. You have a brief overview of what the extension does Click more, he expands more. So once we've decided this is the Google crime extension you want to install, it is simply click at two chrome. Then we have this little warning message here again. Don't worry too much about that Hit at extension is going to run some checks and that's it . This extension has now been installed, Onda. As I said in a previous video, you have the icons in the top right hand corner. So for click up here. So custom curse of a chrome has access to this sites. This means it is enabled. But click on that now. No, actually, use this extension before, but let's just click on one, okay? And now I have this funny cartoon as my cursor, but annoying if I'm honest. But that is how quickly and simply is to install a Google chrome extension.
6. How To Uninstall Google Chrome Extensions: Okay, So if you have installed a Google chrome extension that you're not particularly happy with you can as as you've just easily installed it, you can just as easily uninstall it. So I'm not going to be keeping this cursor icon. So to delete a Google chrome extension, simply go to the top right hand corner, right click and remove from crime. Remove custom cursor for chrome hit, remove. And if I refresh the page and that's it, so that now that has been uninstalled. So now I don't have that weird, annoying cartoon is my cursor on. That's how easy it is. So again it there will be some extensions you're not happy with. Obviously not. The ones are teaching this course, but if you're going ahead and installed in your own Google crew, mix chrome extensions, then you that they can be very easily uninstalled
7. Manage Your Google Chrome Extensions: So in this video, I'm gonna show you where to manage all your Google extensions in one place. So again, if you go to the top right hand corner off Google Chrome and hit these free dots here, scroll down to mortals, click on extensions. So these aerial the extensions that you currently have installed. Now I have, for example, this one here organizer for South Wars. So this one is installed, but no, actually turned on. So if I wanted to turn this on a risk, simply tuggle here and now it's popped up. Now, untangling Google extensions is a way of you off keeping extensions. But say, for example, if an extension or you're not gonna be current using over the next couple of weeks, months, wherever is consume, you just turn it off. And as you can see here as I uninstalled the previous curse of Google chrome extension, that is no longer here. You can also uninstall an extension from this page as well. So instead of doing it, how I showed you before, you can just simply click remove here and then after uninstall the Google chrome extension . If you want to know any details about the Google chrome extensions. It simply click on details here. So, yeah, if you want a quick snapshot off all the Google chrome extensions you have installed, this isn't the place to be. So just to remind you, you click on the free dots here, let's go down to more tools and click extensions.
8. Sync Your Google Chrome Extensions Across All Your Devices: So in this video, I'm going to teach you how to sink Google chrome. So this is especially handy if you're using multiple computers. Let's say, for example, you have a home computer andan office computer. You don't want to be installing all your Google chrome extensions on order devices you own . You want them all sink, so you only have to do it once. And this is a great feature by Google Chrome and one that not really any of the other browsers offer. To the extent Google Chrome does now, for this to work on for you to be out, install Google Chrome Extension. You need to have a Google account some assuming If you have bought this course, you already have one. But if you don't, you just simply goto google dot com. Hit. Sign up for a new account and you know it's a very simple process. And if you're new to you know, Google Chrome as a browser, it's one of the most popular browsers out there. Nearly 70% off users use Google Chrome. Now, people normally choose to use chrome due to its speed and simplicity. Out of all the Internet browsers out there. Chrome has the best u Y and G u I Better yet it's owned by Google and runs many integrations fruit. Google Services. Google Chrome also loads websites faster and run them with these and last year customers in many more ways and any of a browser out there. But overall, the stats speak for themselves. Google Chrome is the most popular browser out there. OK, so moving on to sink in your Google chrome across all your devices, so I'm locked in with my fake Google account. So my new Demi C 56 at gmail dot com on to sink your Google chrome extensions across all your devices. He's simply hover up here and you click on Turn on Sync. So turn on sync sync your bookmarks, passwords, history and more on all your devices. Now, before you click. Yes, I'm in. The first thing you need to do is go to settings, then click on that manage sink, and here you can tailor what you sink across your different devices to say. For example, you don't want your history shared across all your different devices. It's simply just uncheck. Sink everything here, and then you can manage each the end of which ones. So, for example, you don't want a history tracked across where the devices you just turn that off. He don't themes, bookmarks and so on. Obviously, in regards to this course, you need Google extensions turned on. Trust me, this is going to save you a lot of time. Because if you jump on any computer in the world, you can just quickly download chrome. If you don't already have installed on, just log into your chrome and then everything is gonna be sink. This is specially handy with the password management tool that I will be teaching you. So just Taylor to meet your needs. But for this course, you I would recommend you have extensions turned on. Once you've played around with this, he simply click back and hit. Confirm here. No, I'm not going to do this now because I'm using a dummy account for this course on A soon as you hit Confirm. Then no matter if you're on your mobile on a different laptop or computer, so work. But it's home laptop. All your extensions will be in housed in your Google chrome account. 9. Using Other Web Browsers: so this course is heavily geared towards Google chrome extensions. Now, just to let you know things like Last Pass and Over extensions are go for in this course are available on Firefox and Internet Explorer. But like I said in the promo video, you know 70% of users that used Google Chrome browser. This is because it's the best browser on the market. That's why I did this course on Google Chrome extensions. But if for any of a reason you are using a different browser in a different location, you can take a look in the other browsers stores and download the relevant extensions I go through in this course by strongly advise you to your stick with Google Chrome browser. So that is definitely the best performing browser on the market at the moment. So also, some of the chrome extensions I show you in this course are available on your mobile as well. So last past, especially I have to have on my mobile as I need to access my own lawn accounts 50% of time , I'm accessing them on my mobile. Some of the extensions are for android only, or IOS, but all the extensions in this course I emotionally using my death stop apart from a couple , Andi. Especially last past, which I use 50% of time on my mobile phone. In the last past section I show you how to use this extension on your mobile phone. 10. Welcome to Last Pass: in this section, I'm going to be taking you through the last pass. Now, this password management extension is a game changer. Going forward, you won't have to remember any of your online user name and passwords. And also, if you create any new accounts online, this will all automatically be captured by last path. Now, after this section going forward, you only have toe Ever remember the one password on that is to get into last past. It's never even a waste time. Forgetting your password, looking for your user name for your e mails. That whole process will be eliminated once have shown you this last past strategy, I'm gonna teach you in this section. Now, the great thing about last past is its mobile compatible. Even when you're out and about, you still won't have to remember any of your online accounts using the last part of saved me so much time. I don't have to stress about any of my online accounts anymore, and I'm gonna show you all this in this section, so enjoy
11. Installing LastPass: So the first thing we're going to need to do is install the last past chrome extension. So on a link to this page in the resource section off this lecture, or we can simply go to the chrome Web store. Andi, just search for last pass. So you want to grab this top one Here, click at the chrome. You get this poppet message here and just click at extension. Okay, So now the last past extension is now installed on your browser and you can see that at the top right hand corner. So the next thing you're going to need to do is create a last pass account. To do that, you just simply click on the free dots up here, scroll down and hit. Create account. Now you want to use the main email you use on an everyday basis to simply just adding your email address here. Now, this is most important part off signing up to last past. You need to remember Last pass, hold all your passwords that you're ever going to need. So the only password you're ever going to need to remember going forwards is the password to get into last pass. So it's really important you make this a unique path word and one that you're going to remember on Locker said as all your passwords that you currently have it gonna be held in last past. This is the only password you're ever going to need going forwards. So just take your time that they give you some tips down here so fraught for their advice, for example, tell a unique story to you. So I give you an example. Here, you can click here on what makes a pass where it's strong. But as long as you remember this, this is the only password you need going forwards. So once you have selected your own password and you've met the last past criteria and give you another warning here, so make sure you remember it. Last part is so secure, even we can get into your account. We never store your master password, so remember it. You have a pass while password hint here as well. So does that give, you wanna ask, make their they just simply hit next. So that's it. So once you've done that, you can now look into last pass account again. I don't wanna keep repeating this to you know, it's a bit annoying, but you really need to remember this password. But like I said, it's the only pass. What you're ever going to need to remember going forwards. And you can see you have locked in here because this is now turned red. So if you click here is the last pass has access to this site. Just click on these free dots here and now you have the menu option, which I'm gonna take you through in another video to thank you for listening, and I'll see you in the next video.
12. Disable Chrome's Default Password Manager: So in this video, I'm going to show you how to stop Google chrome from automatically saving your passwords. Payment methods, Onda dresses. Now the reason you need to disable this is because you do not want this conflict in with the last past functionality. Now Google's chrome solutions to memorizing your passwords, payment methods and addresses and auto filling. This information is good, but it's no in near as powerful as last past. So this is why you need to disable it. Because if it does conflict, they can be a bit confusion between the two pieces of software on. Ultimately, your last past extension won't works. It should do so. To do this in crime, we simply need to head over to the top right hand corner of chrome. Click here, scroll down to settings on, then under auto fill. You have passwords, payment methods, Onda addresses. So you just need to go into each one on turn them all off so you can just go into passwords here, make sure both of these toggles air turned to off so you don't want Google chrome automatically signing you into websites using Google chrome You one last pass to manage all this. And you also don't need Google chrome to automatically remember your user name and password as again last past will also do this. So again, payment methods you just click into here. Make sure this is talk would off. Onda also addresses as well. You need to make sure this is toppled off. So once you've turned these free things off, you're at the point now where you're ready to use last pass and you can go ahead and start using the extension to its full potential.
13. LastPass User Interface Demo: So in this video, I'm going to give you a quick demo off how last past is structured and how you access it. So again, this is the extension in the top right hand corner. So if you click on the free dots here, you have open vault. So this is where all your passwords air saved. So if you simply click here now, if we we haven't started populating any passwords, but this is where all your passwords are gonna be held he was, Have a note section addresses, payment cards, bank accounts. There's also a security challenge so you can understand how secure your last past passwords are. Sharing settings said Last past gave you the functionality to share your passwords with other people. Have emergency access and account settings. You also have a search box at the top here so you can search your passwords again. I'll show you how to do this later. You have at the bottom here where you can add folders and passwords manually. And then if we click back on the last past extension, you have recently used passwords. Have all your items generated secure password again, I'm gonna show you this in a later video. Then you have some account options as well. But the bulk of what you're going to be doing is again here. Click on the free dots open my vote on this is the vote. So this is really where everything is housed in last past. And this is where you're gonna be managing your password, payment cards, bank accounts, notes, addresses and things like that. So, again, just to remind you once you have locked into your extension again, that's the only password you need to remember going forwards. Once you've locked in this one term, read on, then you have the option to open your vault.
14. LastPass - Save Your User Name & Passwords Automatically: So in this video, I'm going to show you how last past save your user name and password automatically, and I'm also going to show you how to manually on a user name and password into last passed directly. Now, before you start browsing the Internet or say you, for example, you have jumped on another device or computer. You always need to make sure you're locked into last past, because if you're not locked in, you're not gonna get any of the functionality last past offers. So it's not going to save your user name and password automatically. But let me go ahead on and get started in creating a random account somewhere. So I'm on the E Bay registration patriot, and I'm going to create a dummy account on show you how this automatically saves toe last pass. So when you get to the passwords section, you don't want to make up a password yourself. You want to use the last past secure generator. So to do that, you simply right click in the password box, scroll down to last pass and click generate secure password that will then open up her new tamp on what I recommend you do is you leave these default settings as they are. So, for example, you have the password length here that currently on 12. But you can move it 22 that changes the password. Up here, you can have an easy to say password and easy to read all characters, which I recommend you keep on because all characters includes symbols, numbers, lower case and upper case. You have a refresh button here is well, so you simply click on that and it's will automatically generate a new password. But going forward, you want to use these passwords generated by last past and also going forward again, like upset before. The only password you need to know or remember is the one to log into last pass. Any new account you create, you do not need to know the actual password because that's all gonna be housed in the last past vote. So you just simply copy the password here, go back to the eBay page, copy and paste it in. Register to look what's happened here. You have this last pass pop up, so this is driven by the last past extension and you have the option out to last pass. So you have the website here ebay dot co dot UK and you have your email address on what you want to do now is simply select add all set now that has been added to your last path. Vote. So let's take a look at what that looks like in last pass again. You click on the free dots up here. You gotta open my vote until you can see the eBay dot co dot UK. That's where I signed up. And you have the email address which I used. Now, if you click on this gear icon here, So this is the edit page, and here you have the site password. Now, for any point, you need to know what this past, where it is and simply click here show password. And that is the pathway that was generated by last past when registering for eBay. And that's how simple last pass is. It just automatically saves any new accounts you create. Now you're probably wondering how to actually log in to eBay. For example, if I don't know my password, so in the next video, I'm going to show you how to do that
15. LastPass - Log Into Your Accounts: So in this video, I'm going to show you how you actually logging into your accounts. Going forwards. Let's say, for example, you want to look back into your eBay account, simply go to the eBay website. So in a sign into e based or simply click on sign in. Look what's happened here. My email address is automatically been populated, so I know that because the last pass Aiken has popped up on to enter the password, you simply click on the last past extension here. Sort of free dots here, and you simply hit Phil now will automatically fill in the password on this password. Remember, was generated by last pass. Simply click Sign in and that's it. Now I've been locked into eBay without even knowing my password. This is how simple last passes and how streamlined it that simply do not even need to know any of your passwords. So another way to log in to your accounts is you simply go to the last past vote here. If you hover over the password here and hit launch, this will automatically sign you into the account, so it's ultimately pretty populated. The email or user name and password is simply click sign in and hopefully yet. So this is just sign me in again in another easy way off, logging into your account in a later video, I'm gonna show you how to organize these, because these start to build up really quickly going to show you how to do that in a later video. 16. LastPass - Manually Create Existing Accounts: in this video, I'm going to show you how to manually create your password accounts of in the last past fault. So you're probably thinking, Well, I have All these accounts are already have open. So what you need to do is just take your time on Adul these accounts into the last past vote. Now, by doing this, you're gonna contain Althea counts You have access to all in one place within last past. So I know I already have an account with this sofa website called DFS. So simply added my details into last pass. I go to the bottom here and here at item. Now, the first thing you need to do is add in the u R l, which is www dot DFS dot co dot UK. The name is you can call us whatever you like. I just normally stick with what the U R. L is now the user name in my case for DFS is I created it using this test account and the password. 17. LastPass - Notes: it's in this video. I'm going to quickly show you notes, so note is on the left hand side. Here you have passwords. It is your password. Vote just underneath. You have notes. Now. I particularly find notes helpful for things like WiFi password. So you may have WiFi passwords for your house or in the office that you sometimes need to re enter. This is a great place to enter secure notes. Information. Now to simply do that, you hit the plus sign here. Let's say running in some WiFi passwords. So home WiFi test office WiFi Now again in the advanced setting, you can choirmaster parts would re promptly. Probably don't want that for notes hit, save and now these notes are saved in the notes section. So say, for example, you have gone into work. Whatever reason, your laptop hers disconnected from the Internet, or you need to provide a number colleague with a WiFi password and simply click on free dots. Here, open your vote. Andi, I filled in my address. Some logged into the account now, but the payment page. I need to quickly fill in my card number. Expiry date, etcetera. Now, because I have this information already saved in last past, you can see we have the last past sign here. Simply click on that. Here we have a form field. So we have our credit card, which we just saved. I simply click on that and again, how numbers are pre populated now, normally for security codes, most websites don't really accept that. You have to always manually enter that just for security reasons. But everything else is quickly entered into the card payment details now getting. All this in last past just makes it so much more efficient than memorizing ALS this or having to take your card out each time you want to make a purchase online. 20. LastPass - Bank Accounts: in this video, I'm gonna take you through bank accounts. So again, bank account is on the left hand side, just under car payments. Just remind you have gone through password so far. Notes address it card payments. And now we're onto bank accounts. Now, more often than not, you don't really need your bank account details automatically populated anywhere. So I just personally used last pass as a vote to just store all my bank details. So if I ever need the information, I can just quickly jump into last pass and grab my sort code account number account type. The pin, for example, is really handy. If you forget your pin or say, for example, you change your pin. Sometimes you can forget your panel after you've changed it and you can just update it in here. Have the branch address of your bank the branch phone number. Now, if whatever reason, you need this information when logging into a bank, Then again, you can use the last past automatically populate this. But more often than not now be covered by the past words in the path word vote for your bank. But still I'd recommend just entering your bank account details in here just so they're secure in a safe place. 21. LastPass - Organise Password Folders: in this video, I'm going to show you how to organize your last past passwords. Now, as you used last, Passmore more. Your password is going to fill the space up very quickly. So I recommend you do at the very beginning is start creating folders. So to do that, you just simply got the bottom here, hover over the plus sign here and click on at new folder to say, for example, we have this eBay password down here. I mean, we might want a folder for all our auction sites. So hit safe here. If you see here that has created this new brake line here. Now it's all I have to do now is click on the edit gear icon here, and I can move this eBay password into the auction site folder hits I've. And now that has moved here. So say, for example, you have ah lot of auction sites you have in just simply Adam in this folder, and they'll keep relating all in this area. Trust me, I really recommend you get on top of your folders right at the beginning off your last past experience. Because as you create an Ardmore county near. It's gonna get messy very quickly. Not a one way to get around that is at the top. Here, you can search for your passwords, which is one way of getting around a messy last pass by person. Like to keep mine a bit more organized. So I have a lot of folders and sub folders just so I can just quickly see where my passwords are. You also have different views here so you can have a list view as well. You can sort by folder letters as well, or by most recent. Now, the folder structure works for all of these on the left inciter notes, addresses, payment cards and bank accounts. The same process. You go to the bottom here, hover over the plus sign, and here at New folder can also zoom out as well as you start to collect a lot of passwords . So it just makes it a bit more neater. You can collapse everything cause, Well, expand. It all is really dependent on you on how you want to manage your real estate within last pass. But again, I would recommend leverage in the folders. Just getting everything organized. It's gonna make your life a lot easier, which is the whole point of last past. It's just gonna Today we're gonna be a bit more productive, more able to manage your vault.
22. LastPass - Sharing Passwords: So in this video, I'm going to take you through sharing your passwords or addresses, note payment cards and bank accounts. Now, if you work in a team at work or you have friends and family that also have last past, you can actually share your logging with other last past users. This is particularly handy Maurin work scenario is not really on a personal level. Control. We'd only sharing your passwords with friends, friends and family. But if you did, for whatever reason, simply cover over the password again. You can do this for notes as well. You just hover over. Click on these to lift a little heads here, which is share, and then you can just simply add in their email address. You can choose whether they're allowed to actually view the password. If you opted them to not view the password, the only way for them to look into the account is launching it of wise. If you have enabled them to see the password, then they can manually go to a website and just log in with the user name and password by copying and pasting it in here at the bottom left is if people are sharing things of you. You hit on sharing center there and here for click on shared with others. This eBay password has been shared with this dummy email address I just entered in. 23. LastPass - Recovery Number: So in this video, I'm going to show you how you can access last pass. If for whatever reason, you've forgotten your master password now I recommend soon as you create your last pass account is to go into account settings. Scroll down here, Andi, under SMS account recovery, you want to add in your phone number here. That's really important, because for whatever reason, if you've forgotten your master password or you having issues logging in for whatever reason, you can have your phone number acting as a recovery back up so you can lock in that. Why using your phone now? If last past is your only password you're ever going to need, it's not likely you're going to need to go through this process, but I recommend you Adan in your phone number, just in case.
24. LastPass - Security Challenge: So in this video, I'm going to show you the security challenge in last pass. This is a very cool feature where you can really understand how secure your passwords are. So securities challenges at the bottom left hand corner here. If I select security challenge here, I'm going to run, show my score. You then have to re enter your last past master password. So if you have a lot of email addresses it in here, they'll all be listed here. You just don't want to keep them checked. Hit, Continue. And here we have great news. Not a single address you submitted has been compromised in a known security breach since the last time you're on this test. Next you'll get a score and some tips for improving your security. So one of the steps we need to take is change weak passwords. Now, if you remember the DFS password waas an account which I already had. So I wasn't using the last past generated password that it provides. So if you want to be really secure of all your passwords, all your current account, I would go in and change your password using the last pass password generator, so you can see the eBay one was generated by last pass. It was all those characters mixed with numbers, upper case and lower cases. This is why it is at 100%. Because it's that secure. Now, to do that, you just simply launch each one that you have. You just going to your account so I can go into my DFS account. Andi, change the password there. So again, it's take me back to this page. The information is all too much automatically populated. Hit Sign in now. Let's see where we can find it in here. So here we have change. Passports. Our current password is going here. Simply view your current password again. Makes it very easy to go in and trained all your passwords. Now the new password again. You want to right? Click here. Scroll down to last pass generator secure password copy and paces into here. Hit update. Okay, so it's not like in the password we generated. I think it doesn't like the symbols has tried this. And look here. So now we have the option to update out DFS sofas Password. They simply hit update. Now that has been automatically saved so again and another easy way of just keeping your account secure. The next time I run this score, this will now be at 100% because it's a password which has been driven by the password generated by last pass. Now, if for any reason you need to change any your part word. So I know some websites that I knew they prompt you to train your password every six months , for example. This is typical. When I'm doing things to do with my business, then all you do is you just update the password using the last past generator. Once you've updated any password, it will automatically update in your last past vote. 25. LastPass - Mobile: So the other great thing about last pass is that it is also mobile enabled. So you have the opportunity to download last past from either the APP store or the Google Play store, and it works on IOS and Android. So what want you to do is just go ahead and download the APP and really has a lot of functionality as the desktop version. Now, once you've downloaded the app, the first thing you need to do on your device is you need to make sure the auto Phyllis selected for last pass Now on the IOS. So what you do is you click inside the email address box and then this piece down here, so we have www dot DFs dot co dot UK. Then we have a dash last past. This is your last past. Log in. So you click on it here. Usual touch I d. And that is automatically populated email address and password. So now I can just simply go ahead and sign in. And that's how easy last parties on your mobile. If you create new accounts just like the desktop version you can that will automatically save to last past. So again, a very powerful up and again this just keeps in line with that. You only need to remember one password and that is a master password for your last past account. Everything else you do not need to know, even if you on your phone or verses your desktop. So again I go back to the home page here, go to secure notes, say we're out and about, and we need our WiFi password. You just simply go on note hit view and all the information is there to still on the mobile . So as you start to build up more more passwords and say hypothetically, you do go ahead and change all your passwords for your current accounts. It is gonna be very important for you to download the app on your phone because you don't want to be out and about and then having to log onto a desktop, just a rich, retrieve a password to then use that to log into the account on your mobile. So definitely recommend you download the app very powerful tool has most of functionality on the desktop, and again, it's just gonna really improve your productivity and save you a lot of time.
26. Welcome to Honey: So in this section, we're going to be going through the Google Chrome Extension called Honey. Now, what this does is it essentially assigned you coupons in your check out basket, and it is all automatically done by the Google Chrome extension. Now, if Honey confined you a deal, it will automatically at that coupon into your basket, saving you money. Now, this is really reassuring because you don't want to be over paying for something. You know, you can get cheaper using a coupon code again. This extension is very simple to use, and I'm gonna be going through it this step by step. In this section also using honey, you can see the historical prices off products on Amazon. And you can also get honey to notify you if a product reduces by a certain percentage to say, for example, you're looking to buy £100 toy for your son. If this drops to £50 honey will automatically notified you this so a great extension that helps save you money and also save you time looking for discounts on other voucher websites .
27. Install And Sign Up To Honey: in this video, we're going to install honey. So again, if you go back to the chrome Web store on the home page here we have, honey, I'm gonna share the link to this in the resource section as well. But like all extensions, just click on it and then hit at two chrome. I was gonna make a few checks, and now we're at the sign up page. So again, this is a good chance to practice your last past skills generate secure password, copy and paste that on joined with email. We can add that to my last past account. 29. Configure A Product Price Drop Using Honey: So in this video, I'm going to show you how to configure a price drop using honey. So what this means is, if you're only willing to pay a certain amount for a product, you can actually set an alert so that if the product drops to the price you're willing to pay, what honey would do is notify you when the price has dropped. So let me show an example of this. So look here. We can see the honey extension working. So if you hover over this honey extension here, so the safe to drop less. So get notified when the price drops so you can set how long you want this notification to run for? So the default iss 60 days. But say you're willing to wait 120 days and then you want to be notified when there's been a certain amount dropped on the price. So here you can amend the percentage to say you're only willing to pay for this when it drops by 10% you just hit 10% there. In this case, we need to select the size and color and then add to drop list. So what happens is If these trainers do drop by the percentage you selected, you'll be pinned and email and you'll receive a notification in the extension. Now, this does not work for all websites. It typically typically works well for amazon dot com, so depending on where you are in the world will depend on if you can use this functionality . 30. Look At The Product Price History Using Honey: So in this video, I'm going to show you the price history use in the honey extension. They are there as a way to collect points auto known as obvious, and then eventually spend toward your flights, hotels, car rentals on experiences. Now this is global, so this is not bound to just UK flights or UK hotels, car rental or experiences. This is a global way off redeeming any of those things. So there are many ways to collect arias points. And in this section I'm going to show you the most productive Andi. Easiest way to do this leverage in a Google chrome extension. I'm gonna show you in a later video to the great way about this method I'm going to show you in a later video is that it does not require you to take out any kind of credit card. I could do a whole course on maximizing the benefits of credit cards, Lord, he schemed. What credit card to take out etcetera. Really, because this can be a bit confusing to get your head around, because you're probably thinking, Why is pep talking about British Airways? Because that's not really relevant to every country. That's why I want to address in this video. So I want to look at whether there are any geographic restriction to joining British Airways Executive Club. So do you need to live in Britain to join a British Airways executive club? That's what I want to answer in this video. Now, as you can see from this picture, British Airways is part of the One World Alliance. Now the OneWorld Alliance is basically an independent organization that brings all these airways together as one. So that essentially means is you do not have to live in the United Kingdom to join the Executive Club. It is open to citizens off almost every country. Thought that means is if you use the British Airways Executive Club and you accumulate obvious, you can actually spend them on. All of these airlines are part of the One World Alliance on the reason for this video and a bit of a disclaimer. Is that say, for example, the American Airlines. So you live in the U. S. The American Airlines. Similar club may be better for you rather than the British Airways Executive Club said that this section all about how to accumulate obvious is more of a concept on when I get to the Google Extension part, it will make a bit more sense. But I just wanted to reassure you that the method I'm showing you if you can accumulate of yours points using the method I show you, you can actually spend it on a handful of things, including all these airlines worldwide car hire and also worldwide experiences as well. But depending on where you live, it may be better for you to have a join the Malaysia Airlines Club with American Airlines Oribe era. You'd have to really do your own research to really figure out which one is best for you. I'm sure they will be similar Google extensions to help you accumulate of yours points as well looks that this may be a bit confusing now, because once we get into the next few videos, is gonna make a lot more sense Andi yet like a said, this could be more for just a concept to you, depending on where you live in the world. But I assume most of you up gonna be able to travel on any of these airlines which is gonna enable you to leverage the points you collect on. Say, for example, you live in America, you know you don't have to use the American Airlines. You can book, for example, at British Airways flight from New York to London, then London back to New York, and you can still use the British obvious points to do that, you don't have to book on your own national airline. You can use any of the airlines you like. And when we do get to the extension part, you know it's not necessarily a productivity extension that's gonna help you of your work. It's more of a cost saving activity. And you know what I'm gonna show you is really is giving you the opportunity to earn points when you're doing your everyday online shopping. So nothing really changes apart from if you can accumulate points when you can when you shop. And there's no reason not not to do this step by step guide, which I'm gonna show you in the later videos. So in the next video, I'm going to show you how to sign up to the British Airways Executive Club and then we can go from there.
34. Sign Up To The Executive Club: So in this video we're going to sign up to the British Airways Executive Club some on their page now, and I will link to that in the resource section. Now when the most important things we need to look at here is that joining the Executive club for free that's the key word there. Free. It does not cost you anything to sign up with the Executive club, which is Ah, great start for anyone looking to collect obvious points. So to register, you simply need to click on register now and just fill in all your details. Now, if you've already got your last pass set up with your address and name and things like that , then this will be very quick. They were here some of the options so free to join, which I just said No one going Fees, special offers save passenger and payment details for easy booking. Then you'd have the whole flight section with base and managing your booking. Now you want to join the executive club, not the b a dot com, because that is just a British in a flight only registration. The Executive club is more of a global way of collecting points, then you you just go in a filling or your information. Now, what should go back to the home page of the Executive Club to start saving now to help you pay for your next escape with have us to become an executive club members a bit like starting a holiday fund. But just want to make sure that you know what I'm showing you for the Google Extension part is for online shopping only. So if I click on shop and collect so here they have their sponsored shopping partners. So again, Tesco is more The UK only the one fly. Think that could be a global one They can collect Ari Awesome fuel he for over awards. Mr Village That again that UK only. But if I scroll back to the top, what you see here is obvious. East or so That's what we're gonna log into. You just click on browse of British Airways Avfc store and this is the key thing that I'm showing you guys. So this is earning obvio us when just doing your online shopping. So what that means is, if I make a booking fruit booking dot com every pound I spend on an eight obvio us again, we have net a porter here Ted Baker hotels dot com as well, But never global brand ever keep scrolling down. So here we have the popular retailers. If you click on view, all this is pretty much every partner they have partnered up with a view to an RV US shopping online using any any of these companies here now again because it's the British Airways Executive Club. Whether you can utilize all of these online shops is, it is another thing. Some of them may be UK only some of them are global. This is why I said before that you may be better off signing up for your your own National executive club, whatever that may be. But still, I think a lot of these are crook global brands. So what you do is you click in here clicking log in to shop that's gonna prompt you to log in again. Click on Go shopping Gun shop Now again. So now you have landed on hotels dot com through the Executive Club. Now, anything I book on here, I'm gonna earn 12 obvio us for every pound I spend to say, For example, I book a hotel for a holiday, and it cost me £1000 that's gonna earn me 12,000 worth of obvious points. That's a pretty good way off, easily earning obvious 0.3 then to redeem on flights, hotels, experiences, etcetera on. A problem I find with this e store is that you have to you know you have to go through these steps to just have a look at what partners are available for you to an obvious when you shop with them. So that's what I'm gonna show you in the next video and how to use an extension which is going to prompt you whenever you're on a website, whether you're eligible toe of yours points.
36. The British Airways Avios Chrome Extension: So in this video, I'm gonna show you the British Airways Obvious Collection reminder. So, as I said in the previous video, and it can be a pain logging into executive Club, then having to search for retailers which may or may not give you good, obvious points to the whole reason behind this section and why I'm teaching you. This is so that is a Google chrome extension that if you're browsing a website or you're on a Google search, it's actually going to remind you that you can collect obvious points through this retailer , and then what it does is it prompt you to log into the executive club toe, earn your RV OSCE. So this is while extension is so powerful because it's gonna automatically remind you. So you're just going about your everyday online shopping, and it's just going to remind you that hey, you can earn free obvio us if you just go through the executive club. The other said before is not really a productivity extension, but it's a great money saver. And like I said before, why not earn free obvious points if it's this easy to do so in a link to this extension in the resource section. Let's just go ahead and add it to chrome. Now, this extension is or automatically picked up that I'm logged into the executive club. So here it's asked me to lock out because I'm already locked in. Okay, Now shut with over 200 brands directly from your search results. Remember that purchase conditions may apply, which you can see on east or so here. You couldn't directly linked to the east door, but we don't want to do that. Okay, so I just Googled super dry Andi here you can see the extension or they're a bit buggy here . It's popped up to say you can earn six of yours for every pound of spend or free obvious for every dollar you spend. This is running fruity. Extension off installed. So if I click on this is gonna promptly to log into the east door again and you click go shopping that has automatically sent me to the Super Drive website. So now anything go by on here, I'm going to earn six of yours for every pound I spend. So again, this extension what works really good for may, it just gives me a prompt that if I have not fought that a partner is partnered with B. A is going to remind me that I can actually earn free RV off just by doing my everyday shopping. Now, like any extensions, there can be some bugs, you know. They are free, they're not paid extensions. So, you know, I just read a few reviews that for whatever reason, the extension does not work for some brands again because it's a free extension that there are books sometimes. So you also want to get in the habit off. Just click on on the extension clicking visit East or and then maybe just searching for your brand in here. That's one way of doing it. But again, the extension is a good way to just quickly navigate towards the East Door without having to go through all the steps off logging fruit each page on the Executive club Web site. Yeah, as I've said that, this has been a great extension for me to use a great process for me to an obvious just by doing my everyday shopping, and also when I'm renting cars or booking hotels now I know I could do a whole course around how to leverage points across other, different partners or schemes which were made of something in the future in terms off money saving. This extension has helped me and off managed bag upgrades on flights, hotels. I've got cheap Carhart free for using obvious points. So go ahead, give this a try. 37. How to Earn Avios Airline Points: So in this video, I'm gonna show you how to actually spend your obvious points. So once you have collected a good amount off point, you can then spend towards your car, hire flights or experiences that, as I've said before, that this could be done globally. So if you want to book an experience in the States or in European countries, you can do that all through the executive club. So I'm looked into the executive club and and just one thing to point out here you can change your country, region and language here, arm in the U. K. So I'm just gonna leave it as it is now. What you need to do is you need to hover over, discover on, then click on spending abuse. So I typically use my points to upgrade my long haul flights. So I tend to just pay in cash the actual cost off the flight. And then I'll upgrade using my obvious points, some on the spending of yours page. And if I scroll down here, you can click on reward flights of flights at you book using of your so called reward flights, you can book to any worldwide destination where there's availability with British Airways andare, OneWorld partners. So getting here. Here's proof that the obvious work across all the OneWorld partners this section is about upgrading with their video. So this is what I typically use Now I'll be honest more often than not, I just tend to call these people up as I find it a bit easier and that they have a database where they can possibly find you cheap flights as well. So here you can pay part of yours part payment again. Another handy thing the executive club offers scroll down here we have hotel stays which can put Val feels points car rental experiences. So if I click into experiences, click on the experience top here. Okay, so here the results for experiences that can be booked in Los Angeles now getting this is more proof that these obvious points can be used worldwide. Now have just selected a date that I randomly picked. But here you can see all the experiences that you're able to book, and on the right hand side here you have how many of us it would cost. Now I've personally never used obvious to book and experience as I find you get more value out of them, upgrading your flight or taking a car hire out so you have a price range as well on the left. So let's go to how many I have. I think I have 85 in a moment or 84. Just see what comes up. So that deluxe Los Angeles private tour again, another private tour here. Private free day tour. They just need to remember I've collected. These are videos mainly from just shopping, online, booking hotels and just collecting RVs that way. This is why this is really just free airline point that you can accumulate using the strategy off teach you. In the previous videos, the bottom area of some sub categories are down. I'll get a helicopter ride for that amount of points. Now there's none available in L. A anyway. But again, the most important thing is you need to collect your obvious points first before you can get to this stage. But once you do, I personally recommend USUARIOS to upgrade your flight by on the off chance you want to book an experience or car hire or hotel using RVs. Feel free to do that. And they do offer a good customer service for when booking over your flights or experiences to feel free, to give them a cool as well. 38. Block Site Introduction: some on the block site Web store Chrome extension here. So on a link to this in the resource section, and like all the other extensions you just hit at a chrome, I was gonna run it, check and then install this extension. So you want to agree to the terms of conditions here and now we're in our blocks. I extension to just go on back toe the chrome Web store here. There's have a quick overview, so stay focused. Improve your productivity, easily block any distracting or harmful website. Stop procrastinating once and for all. So again looks sitting in the introduction. A very good productivity extension that's just gonna help. You was going to stop you veering away to other websites. There's two features are going to take you through and that is the block sites on also work mode. Now, depending on what your day to day activity is over, they might. They might both be useful to you a one virtually over. Maybe better. So let's start with block sites. So in block sites here, you want to add in all the websites that you find distracting. If you're at work and you find yourself going on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media websites. You want to add them in this list here or say, for example, I know a lot of people agility off looking at the daily mail. And the thing is, you know, you might just say I'm just gonna take a quick minute look at the Daily Mail. But what tends to happen is you veer off to have a social media website, the Daily Mail, and again end up scrolling for the next 15 30 minutes on. You know, you really gonna lose big part of your day doing this multiple times. So let's start with adding in Facebook. So Valium, Facebook there and that has added it to blocked sites list at the bottom here. So now if I'm working and I go to facebook dot com, you get this quirky little image here. So forget about it. You put www dot facebook dot com in your block site list. It's probably there for a reason, so it's just a great prompted. Just remind you to stay productive, continuing the work you're doing on. Do you want to try not procrastinate with these social media websites? Everybody's guilty off it. But this is a great extension to help you alleviate that problem. Because let's add another one. Staley mao dot co dot UK go here and again, we just have this pop up again, just reminding you stay productive, continuing the work you're doing and not get distracted. Now, you may be thinking OK was just a quick session on daily mail or any social media channel. But trust me, over the years, this is gonna compound to you, losing a lot of time, which in itself is either gonna make it less productive or if you're, say, like a sales person. And you know, if you put in 10 hours worth of work, you're going to get X amount of revenue if that 10 hours then drops down toe eight hours because you've been on social media and your revenue is going to drop. So this is you may not think it's a big deal, but over the long term, this is really gonna help you out
39. Scheduling Block Site: now I'm not saying that you need to stop using these sites all together. Let's say you work a 9 to 5 job and you've said yourself right. Going forwards on. Be more productive to during my working hours. I do not want to go on any of these sites, so what you need to do for that is click on the schedule here and here. You can set times off when you want to block your blocked sites list. Let's say you start work a 10. That's a good features. Well, that just lets you scroll through the times about having to enter them in manually. Let's say you take your lunch at midday. You have an hour's lunch when you start work again, one in the afternoon until 5 p.m. 1700 on this is Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, first a Friday. Someone she hit Set schedule. These sites are only give me blocked for the hours you choose on the days you truth again. You know, I'm not saying to go cold Turkey areas website. You do need to have a bit of downtime and go on any distracting websites you want, but not while you're currently working your day job where you need to be productive, hit set schedule and that's it. Now there's another mode here which called white lis mode. Now I wouldn't really recommend this. So the white list mode, it flips this process so you don't block websites. You list websites that you're only allowed on now that this is probably a bit too restrictive. So I wouldn't really recommend this unless your job require you to be on one website for the whole day. Now the top right and corn, you can select a redirect website, so whenever a website is blocked, you can be redirected automatically to another webpage. If that's applicable to you, it may be useful. You can also import list. So if you have, if you have last night like a C S V, file off websites that you know you shouldn't be on this is a great way off importing the list and can also export lists as well to say, for example, you have colleagues that may want to use this process. You can export the list for them as well, or if you're doing a joint thing at work, so you you an accountability part of said right. We need to start these websites during our working hours. You can just share this list with each other. It's thank you for listening. And in the next video, I'm gonna take you through work mode.
40. Block Site Work Mode: So in this video, I'm going to be taking you through work mode on block site now is very similar to block sites, so work mode just click in the left hand corner here. Now again, it's the same process you need to add in your blocked websites. Now I find work mode especially helpful. Say, for example, you're working on a side product so say if you work a day job, you work 9 to 5 in and in the evening off the your schedule is set to your working hours. Now work mode is good, because if you're working in the evening, you can set a 25 minute timer for you to block with sites in this list in work mode. Now I'm not sure where the 25 minute time came from, because that's something that can't be edited on the free version by Imagine is a good blocker. Time for you to be productive and get as much as you can within that 25 minute time slot before you have a break. No, if I remember correctly, I think there's an Italian theory around work in 25 minutes, having a five minute break then started again. But, you know, it's all subjective. How long you need to be productive for to get what you need done in what time? But anyway we have Let me just turn these off a minute for blocks sites, you gotta work mode now to kick off work mode, you simply click on the extension up here, scroll down to work mode and hit get started. So now you have a 25 minute window where you can't go on the Facebook website. So for whatever reason, you need to pause this click on the extension hit pause and we go little notification. Pausing is for the weak. Are you sure you want? Stop working and pause right now again, another little prompt to try and help you being more productive but no longer pauses for now and you can reset the timer as well. So, for me personally, I actually enjoy using the work mode more. But for anyone with a 9 to 5 job, I probably recommend block sites. So, in the next video, I'm gonna give you an overview off the rest of the features in this extension. But ultimately, to be more productive, save you more time. You want to be using block sites or work mode within this block site extension
41. Block Site Final Overview: So in this video, I'm going to give you an overview off the rest of the features within block site. So first off, if you are browsing and for whatever reason you want to disable block site, you simply go on the extension up here and just turn his toggle off. See, we have block size currently off again. A probably wouldn't recommend that if you're looking to be more productive, I was gonna turn up by calm for now. Now we have password protection here. Now, I don't personally use this because it defeats that the point, in my opinion. So, for example, if you wanted to access a block site, you can entering a password again. That defeats the purpose. If you're looking to block a website, you doing that for a reason? You can also add a password to just get into the extension in itself again. Depending on what machines you're working on, you're probably don't really need to do that. You can also block words were within a website. So say for example, you are into skateboarding and you find yourself on a website that has skateboard in the euro in just at skateboarding in here, and that's gonna block any website that has skateboarding in the U. R L So down here we have a block adult site. Now get again. Depending on where you are in the office, you're probably not gonna be looking to go on those tops off websites. But if you're a home, need to be more productive and hate. Probably best to block adult sites as well. This extension is also available on Google play as well. So if you go onto your android device, you can actually have this on your mobile phone as well that we spend a lot of our times on my mobile phones that this is probably just as applicable on your phone as it is on your desktop. And if you find yourself on a new websites, let it go to DFS. So for sale, I don't know why keep using DFS is an example. But anyway, to say you're on this website, you think yourself right? I'm not being productive. I shouldn't be going on this website during my productive hours. Simply go on the extension up here and hit block site. Now that site is blocked on your block sites refresh the page here, Here we have DFS, Dakota, UK on the block sites list. Now that doesn't automatically add it to work mode. You need to do this manually, but if you do build up a lot of block sites here, you can just export the list and then important into your work mode, they're just run you through the settings quickly again. I just leave all thes on by default, so enable blocks I option in context menu again. You want the extension in the top right hand corner. You would enable block adult science again. You don't need to be going on these types of sites. If you're looking to improve your productivity, show motivational images on blocked pages again. That's just going to help you stay productive and then you want it sink with your mobile as well. Then just click. Make sure this tickets checked as well. That's it for block site. 42. Welcome to The Great Suspender: in this section, I'm going to take you through the Google Crime Extension called the Suspender. Now, if you're doing a lot of work in the Google Chrome browser and you have many tabs open, as I said in the promo video, Google Chrome could start to grind to a halt. Now, this extension helped alleviate that and stops Google Chrome browser from crashing all the time. Now, this takes seconds to set up and I'm gonna show you have to do that in this section.
43. The Great Suspender: So just a recap from the introduction off this section. The great suspender is really going to improve your memory when using chrome. Now imagine a lot of you have a lot of tabs open at one time, and it can be extremely annoying when chrome starts to slow your system down. It's what the great suspenders going to do is gonna make your computer run smoothly by suspending the tamps you aren't using a light weight extension. Introduce chrome's of memory footprint Perfect. If you have lots of tabs open at the same time, tap that I've not been viewed after a configurable length of time will automatically be suspended in the background. This is going to free up the memory off the CPU being consumed by that tap some on the greater Spender Extension page here in a chrome web store. Our link this in the resource section. So I'm just gonna add this to chrome. Now The great thing about this is you do not have to register attraction. Use it that has installed pretty quickly. We can see the robot extension here in the top right hand corner. So thanks for trying to greater spender. I made your computer on smoothly by suspending the tap you on using you confined to in the settings below. This is gonna be a really short videos. There's not too much to this extension. It pretty much just works after being installed. Now, this is probably the key thing you need to decide. How long are you gonna let taps be open for before they're suspended. Now, I personally think the default off one hour is too long. In my opinion, 30 minutes is the ideal number for me. But this is for me personally. May be different for you, but after 30 minutes, I have all my taps suspended because mawr often than no, I'm not actually be using them for the foreseeable future. But you can set your toe whatever you think's best. Okay, Something's gonna give you a quick demo of how this extension works. So for me to do that, obviously, when you're not going to sit here and wait 30 minutes, you're gonna set this to suspend my taps after 20 seconds. So let me click that refresher page and just wait 20 seconds. Okay? So hopefully you saw that little flicker, but the taps have now been suspended. So for click on this tub here, online courses, anytime, Anywhere you Demi. This has now been suspended so you can see that by this sleeping icon here. That's the same with MME. Fighting on my trading view. Tamp that is, essentially put these taps asleep. So this is the ultimate just going to speed up your chrome browser. As I've said before, when you have low two tabs, open your proud or starts to really slow down on, that's gonna have an impact on your productivity. Could you not be able to do your tasks properly? If there's a bigger lag in the browser you're using now you don't have to worry about the tab that's been suspended. Losing any data or any place you were within the website we have to do is refresh the page , and now that has restored the page where it originally waas. But in a minute, after 20 seconds that is gonna be suspended again. Never go to the own May, fighting again for just hit Refresh. Now he's going to restore the page where I waas originally to not too much to it. With this extension again, it's a very powerful extension that's gonna help you eliminate any downtime while browsing on chrome. I find it so annoying when the browser starts a crash one loaded tabler open. And this helps me so much as I'm personally used that that does have lots of tabs open at one time. I'm going to go through the settings down here, so have gone through. How long the tabs of suspended for again. I have mine on 30 minutes, so I never suspended pinned tamps. Now pin tab is if you right click here and hit pin that marks that is a favorite tabs so it won't suspend pinned tamps. I personally don't really utilize the pin tap solution within chrome. That doesn't really affect me, but I keep it tracked anyway. Never suspend tablet. Contain unsafe form input against self explanatory. To leave this on his default. Never suspend tabs are playing audio to say, for example, you have you true both from playing the songs you like or Spotify, for example, you wouldn't want this extension to suspend that. Never suspend active taps in each window again. I keep this checked and then I keep the last two unchecked as a default just works fine for me Now here. If you know, you 100% don't want to suspend a certain website, then you just simply enter the euro in here on. Then it will not suspend that you are l Now I personally have this setting checked so automatically under spend tab. When it is viewed, what this means is instead of refreshing the page two under spend the tab. It will refresh it automatically. When you click on the tap. Let me show you an example of this so that you guys loaded automatically without me having to refresh the page. Can you can change the theme of light or dark? I just keep on light. I leave this unchecked as well as I find it a bit buggy. So I just recommend the same as it's still in beta mode screen. Catrin are keepers disabled and also how this sink to my chrome profiles again. If I'm using a another device or laptop, I can have the same settings, then again instantly to spend. When system memory gets very low, I leave it unchecked as well. Now, if, for example, you know you need to use all the suspended taps straight away. So, for example, you do not want to go into the individual taps that want to spend them and go to the extension here. UN suspended all taps and that is gonna load all the tabs up here. Now we have some keyboard shortcuts here is well again. You know that this is a bit too far from a I don't really see the point in this, but you can have some short cuts if you wish. I just use the extension in the top right hand corner on my presets settings have some information about your current session setting again. Nothing you need to do here. So, overall, a really quick extension to set up, which is really gonna help you in your productivity when browsing the Internet, using chrome again. If you don't want your browser toe lag or become very unresponsive in our 100% recommend you use the great suspender extension
44. I don't Care About Cookies: are you sick and tired of always having to consent to cookies on all the websites you visit ? When this video to show you great Google Chrome extension called I don't care about cookies now this works automatically in the background, and you don't have to do anything once it installed. Now right away, you don't really notice the difference once it's installed. But as soon as you jump to another computer, which doesnt have this extension, you're really gonna notice it said to get started. Let's at this to Chrome now. There's no sign up process for this extension, a case that's now installed now for me to Demetrius on after Jump into incognito mode, some in the daily Mao in incognito mode. Now Google extensions do not work in incognito mode, which is why on demo, in what happens when you don't have this cookie extension, someone in the home page in here we have this big, annoying banner really drives me nuts. You have to keep clicking on, you know, got it or accept on all these websites, and it's just a bit of a pain that gets me where personally makes me really annoyed. If I switch back to my other tab. So here you can see that I don't care about cookies in action, someone that Daily Mail home page. And I do not have that big, annoying banner at the bottom now, getting like I said in the introduction, you're not going to notice how much this impact you until you jumped to another machine that doesn't have this extension on so again, Really quick and easy to install at a lot of value increases your productivity and time, so I definitely recommend you install this Google chrome extension.
45. Paint Editor: in this video, I'm going to go through paint editor, So this is a marker for chrome. That's what this extension allows you to do is draw anything right on websites in real time on taking a screenshot so accustomed to reading books and highlighting important tax or just wanting to draw on any website in real time in the comfort of your browser. For this simple extension will help you do this all the Tory in M s paint, but only in your browser. So I find this extension especially helpful. You know, in a working environment to say, for example, you're a graphic designer, you need to, so you want to mark up something's an amendment that needs changing on a website or a presentation. More visual people like to have visual ways off representing this, and it can save. Send in a long email, try and explain yourself. Also, if you're ever giving a demo or some sort off Webcast, you can also use paint editor to draw people to specific areas on your screen. Some on the extension here again, I'll add this to the resource section again. You don't need to sign up with anything for this extension. I'm just gonna add it to chrome and that's it's that's now installed. Let me jump to a different website. Okay, so let me pull the extension up, so you just simply click on it here in the top right hand corner. And this is the toolbar for the paint editor. Do you have your drawing toward here? So you have a pencil, so if you click on that, you can start to draw something. If you want to adjust the size off the pen, you increase the size there. So now it's vicar, and you can also amend the transparency as well. Getting on the white background that's just amended the color now two arrays, all your drawing. You just simply click on a raise or and that's gonna take everything off the screen to say you're a graphic designer or you're some sort stakeholder Fallis Argus website and you need something changing. You can quickly just craft the pencil tour here, Mark and arrow here. Then you can grab the text editor just the size. Then, if you need to send that to anyone, you just over over here to take a screenshot of the current webpage with your drawings. So there we go. This is a screenshot off the website we were on. And you conniver download that printed straight your printer crop it or copy to clipboard. So again, a really powerful tool independent. What you want to use it for can really help your productivity and save your lost time with long winded emails. That depends. If you work in a visual environment, this could be very handy. Let me arise every think here. Now again. It's also very good for screen casting. So say, like I'm talking to you now. I can say, you know, I'm just If you take a look at the our ghost logo point an arrow to that men the size. You know what you think of this background here? It was a good way off aiding your audience around the website. You're on in your browser, so getting are clear. Everything there they have different drawing tools as well. So you just have a a straight line here. You got a bend in the line for whatever reason you need that for. You also have shapes as well. This is a bit easier to mark things out, then to cool. Features are filling in one of these shapes. So what? Your square here. If you click on the paint bucket, here's a Fillon area. So here is the color. So if you click on that and you can address the color here hit Phil, that's gonna fill in that area there. We haven't a razor marker here. If you go wrong somewhere on one particular line, you can array some think Let me a raise every think again, okay To say hypothetically, you want to draw something off a specific color that you see on the website your viewing You click on the color picker here, select that if I click on this red logo here that has now populated this color into the color box. So now every think you draw is gonna be the color you selected with the color picker. And if you want to go back for any reason again, just take a step back. Let's remove the last step and push it forwards again. For whatever reason, you need to scroll down on the page. You can just click this cursor here, then that give you the ability to use the website without the paint editor overlapping. It assumes you want to drum back into the ad stay. You just pick a tall here and you can start editing the website again, then to close this down. Can I have a Quit the paint editor here, or you can just close it down using this button. But if you close it down, you're still technically in the paint editor Still make edits to the page, and if I want to reopen it, you just click on the extension. And if you want to quit it completely, you push this button here off Rover, it's has quit. Now that's gonna take you out of it completely. Now for a free tool. This is very handy to use, depending on what you need it. For my opinion, I personally use it for demos I'm doing on to make notes off websites and my own personal website finding amendment making. I will screenshot that using this paint editor on send off to a developer to make amends to it. 46. Momentum: Okay, So in this video, I'm gonna run you through momentum. This is a really cool extension. Really help your productivity. And visually, it's very pleasing on the eye. Some on the extension on the chrome web store. So again are linked to this in the resource section. Now, for this extension, you do have to actually sign up to the extension. Now, this is because it's going to remember the links. You are all links on your bookmarks. It's also gonna remember your to do list as well. Andi is gonna hold a number of different information that we're gonna input into this. So let me go ahead and add to chrome. Okay, so let's get signed up. So you're just gonna put your name here? I'm gonna make a test email account. Okay, so now we're in. So this page is going to appear every time you create a new top. So if I open up a new top here, this is now what is going to be displayed every time you open up a new tap. Now, each day you're going to be asked what is your main focus for today? Let's put here by I bike So every time you open up a new top, you're gonna be reminded that your main task today is to buy a bike. For whatever reason, I'm actually in the process of buying a bike myself. Which is why I've put this so just a quick tour. We have the time in the middle on. Then we have just a quick message will be good morning or good afternoon Pep. You have your main task for today, said by a bike. And then down here you'll be presented with a motivational quote. Once a day, so doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will. Now I really love this. I like being reminded like, you know, if you work hard, you can achieve the results you want for the day. And it's just a bit of inspiration to help you through the day. Now in the top right hand corner, we have the weather up here, so if you click into this, you're also going to be presented with a forecast as well. Now, here are some of the joys off living in England. So for the next five days, it's gonna be raining, which is is not the best so it's gonna be raining and it's gonna be pretty cold as well. So depending on where you are in the world, this may or may not shock you. But this is very typical weather for England now, if for whatever reason this is not correct, you can just edit the location here. So I just picked Wolfram Start random, but you can just add London, West Virginia, United States again. It looks not great for them, Iver. So yeah, so if this doesn't load up automatically correctly, you can just edit that here. They do have more weather options, hourly extra weather information. But unfortunately, that's not part off the free version. That's the paid version. However, it's not something I really utilize. So just the point how I only use the free version off this extension because the paid version doesn't really add that much pressure value. Not in my opinion, anyway. But if you did want to check out the paid version, click. Learn more. It's not really that expensive free dollars first free a month, but again, you can take a look for yourself down here. I'm only promoting free extensions in this course. I don't wanna go too much into the paid stuff. So again, just to remind you have the weather in the top right hand corner. And you know, I really think that's handy, cause every time you land on the new top, you know, if you're work one morning and you're popping out, you may want to just quickly check the weather again on your tab on the home page. Very handy thing to have. Now let's go over to the top left hand corner. So we have the search bar here, So this is essentially York New Google search. So if I Google football scores, that's gonna open Google and it's gonna always Matty populate that search here. It's brought back my scores and fixtures for football again. If it close up, down, we come back to this tub. Now again, just remind you every time you open a new top, this page is going to appear. Now you can change your provider here to have a being or doctor go by. Imagine, 99.9% of you are gonna keep it on Google. Now let's jump into links. So here you can create a new crime tab so if I click on that, that's gonna open up the coup or tap to go back back into links again. And here I can see all my Google maps I have installed. So again, whether you utilize Google Maps is another thing. But these are the ones I have. So again, in another quick way to get into Europe's Onda, also under links, you can start to put in your own websites here. So once you've added in the euro, if you simply click on that, you're gonna be taken to that website that you enter in again as you can start to see every think you need to be built onto this top. You know, you have your links, you have your weather. You have a bit of motivational talk. Here. You have your overall target for the day. You have a were bookmarked links. So can you can just build on these links on the bottom. Here, let's go to the bottom left hand corner. So here you have where the photo was taken to. This this voter hears from China, and it was by Trey Ratcliff. So getting you have the context of what you're looking up and then let's jump into their settings quickly. Now, again, some of the settings are dependent on whether you have the paid version or not. But again, just to reiterate, I get everything I need out off The free version really helps my productivity and help keep me organized as well. So one of the key things that is not checked is the bookmarks bar. Let me go ahead and turn out on there's gonna allow momentum to have visibility of this. So now my bookmarks have appeared here. So every time I open a new top, they're gonna be at the top here again, Whether or not you're utilized books, marks, pool depend on whether you have this turned on or not. You can play around with the settings whether you want you to do list on the weather. For example, bookmarks bar search by can turn on and off the links. They can really personalize this to best suit your needs. You know, if your profile down here and if you want to log out, not that you're likely to do that now. Another great feature for this extensions really help you with your productivity and hope you manage your day is you have a to do list down here. Now, this is not the most flexible, the best to do list out there in terms of Google extensions. But incorporating it into this tab is very helpful. So they say I'm making focuses data by bike. Well, first, we need to research bikes. Need to check our budget by into bank, and then you can start to so as you go through the day. So we know we need to buy a bike today. Research our bikes. We know the ones we want. We know what budget we want. So you can just start toe work through your to do list all on this tab. So it's all incorporated onto this one tab again. If you click on these free dots here, you can start to archive your to do list. Or if you click on the top one here can clear or your completed task as well for a fresh start. So personally, the first thing I do at the start of the day is start to write down what I need to get done today. Now, when the habits are trying, incorporate into my life is like most people in the world. The first thing you do when you get up is check your phone. You want to try and avoid this as best as possible to really help you of your productivity and just keep good day focused as soon as you get up, really advise you toe. Write down your most important tasks and get onto this tab. Click on this down arrow Here. I have my done list for today again if you from. The more you tick off, you can load more here. You can create multiple to do lists, but unfortunately that is part the paid version for this extension. So it doesn't matter too much. I don't think, because I I like to have one long to do list stuff. I need to get done on that particular today. So I'm happy. Just having in one long list have done those two to do list check boxes. So now I've brought my bike. I can take that off. It's just a good way of just keep him focused for for the day. On each day you're going to be presented with a new quote Onda new picture as well So they're the key. Features off momentum again. I love this. Very visually pleasing helps you with your productivity hopes. You were with your to do list what you need to get done in the day. You can manage your Google searches from here. 47. Google Calendar: in this video, I'm gonna go through the Google calendar. Chrome extension to Google calendars. Chrome extension will give a quick overview off your Google calendar with one click access to locations and documents, there'll be a button in your browser toolbar that you can easily click to see up and coming calendar events from Google calendar without ever leaving your page. Okay, so this is gonna be a really quick one for me. The demo to you, But let's get this installed. So after chrome, at extension. So this is gonna be more applicable for people in the office, I imagine. But really, anyone can utilize this as long as you're using Google calendar on essentially. But I'm gonna show you now is this extension is going to show you a quick snapshot Off up and coming calendar events you have in So to quickly see your calendar events from your Google calendar, you simply click on the Google calendar Chrome extension in the top right hand corner on Dhere. You see a snapshot off all your calendar events in this chrome extension here. Now, I personally find this really useful as it saves you going into here in scrolling down into calendar, then having another top load up. This is really easy to just quickly see what kinder invites do you have in for today, tomorrow and later on in the week. That gives a seven day period here. Now, if you click into the calendar, invite there, if you click into it's gonna actually take you to the calendar and then you can drill down from there. You can also add in a calendar invite in real time. So if you know, you need to quickly shoot off for a meet in right now, you can quickly go into the extension here, hit a plus on their them right. Then you hit at. And now that is added in the calendar meeting there. And then when you created it using this plus sign. Now, I don't typically use this. I just prefer using this extension to just see a snapshot of what I have coming up over the next day or seven days again. Very neat. All doesn't require actual registration as already linked to your Gmail account. Yeah, go ahead. Give this a try and let me know your faults. Thank you.
