1. Introduction to Google Keep: Hello students. My name is Semantria and I'm going to be your trainer for the very simple, yet very useful tool by Google, which is known as Google Keep. Now what this is being used for, it allow users to record plain text nodes and organize, edit, and share them with others. This is the kind of interface you will get. Now what all the things we'll be learning here? First of all, we will learn how to create notes in Google Keep. So once we are done with that, we will learn to create a list, the list you can see in the screen. Apart from this, once we have done this, we will learn a few of the important tools like how to label, how to archive and how to delete nodes. And finally, we will be learning that how to search node or how to pin the important notes. And we will learn few important settings as well. So let's begin our journey. Visit for the video. Thank you for watching. Have a nice day. 2. How to Create Notes in Google Keep: Welcome back students. So in this video, we are going to have understanding about Google. Google tip is being used to create a node set reminder and to create a to-do list. So these are few important features of Google. So let's start with creating a node. In order to create a node, you need to click over here, we just take a note. Now from here you can create a node. So you can give a title to it, which is not compulsory. You can avoid giving the title, or you can if you wish to. And here is the important part, which is to take a note. So let's say I'm here given the title to it. That is, let's say assignment. Okay, here I'm mentioning that green project has been assigned to show. Okay, so that's the node I have created. Now, first option is that remind me of option. However, this particular node, I don't want to set any reminder because this is just a node that is green project has been assigned to shampoo is just the kind of information. Here is the option of collaborating. Okay, let me come to this particular option, which is background option. Here you can give colors if you wish to. Let's say I'm selecting the data. This one. Fine, and let me close it. Okay? So this is a one naught which I have created. This is another node which has been created already. Now, let me create another node, which is going to be a reminder. Okay? So let me go over here. And here I'm mentioning, let's say medicine. And here I am, Let's say giving a node that is the lengthy medicine. Okay? Now, let me go to this remind me option. Now, you can set the reminder based on this by default option which is letter today, let say eight PM, tomorrow, eight AM next week, that's going to be on Monday eight. And if you're not satisfied with this, by default, option Human go for big data and time by yourself. Here, let's say I want to set a reminder for tomorrow. And over here, if I will click, it will come as a list view, which is this one. This is the grid view. I like the grid view. So this is how I want the nodes to come. So till now we have created two nodes. In one node a, we have just set the background. We have given a node as an inflammation. In the second note, we have set the reminder here. If I want to give an image and with node that is also possible. If I want to give only image or the node that is also possible. So you need to go over here, new node with image. Or otherwise you may come over here only take a note and you'll need to go to Add Image option. Now, once you are over here and delete option, then you can add the image according to your requirement. Let's say I'm selecting this one. That is one of the drawback of it, that you can't make changes as far as its layout is concerned, or you wish to crop it, then it's not possible. This is how it's going to look like. However, if you want to make any changes into it, you can simply click over this. You can click on edit drawing. Then this option of editing will come here. You can draw something if you wish to, let's say like this or whatever. I don't want to right now. Let me undo it and let me go back. So that's an image note that I have created. Now in each node can be added to existing nodes as well. Let's say I'm going over here, add image, which is this one. And do this also. I can add an image if I wish to, I just need to select that. I'm not going to write now. Also, you can add a drawing. Let's say I'm going over here, nu naught, withdrawing from here, I can draw whatever I want to. Okay? And that's fine. So this is how it will come. This is again, a drawback that it will come like this only in a rectangular shape. Doesn't matter how small the drawing you have created. However, you need to. Now, I'm going to close it. So this is one drawing note you can see you can add drawing to existing node as well. So let me delete it. How to delete any node? You need to click over here. And you need to click on delete node. So it's going to be deleted. Now if you need to add drawing to existing nodes, then you can come over here to dorsal coming. And here you can see Add drawing option is coming from here also. You can add drawing as per your requirement. No, I'm not willing to add right now, but I just showed you how we can add. Now the final option that I'm going to tell you about nodes is that you can collaborate with other person also, Let's say this green project has been assigned to them. So I want to collaborate this width. Sham also means when that particular person is going to open their Gmail account, or let's say Keith, then they will also get this particular node over there. How to do that? You need to click over here. We just call operator. Now here you will have to type some email. Let them die being sham. And let me click on Save. You can see this has been collaborated. And here, if you will set your cursor, you will be able to see that this particular node has been shared with champagne underneath the red gmail.com. Let me show you how you can create a copy of a node. So let's say pick the Nancy medicine this particular node or the reminder which I have set for tomorrow 130. I want to set the reminder based on its location. Also, mindful patient also, what I mean to say that tomorrow one turkey, I need to go to the lengthy medicine in order to pick some medicine. However, let's say if I'm around that particular area, then also I want this reminder to notify me. First of all, I want to create a copy of it so that both the reminders may exist. So here I'm coming these three dots and then I'm going to click on mega coffee. Okay? So here another nodes has been created. However, there is no remainder, which is the set. So I need to go to this reminding option. And now this time I'm going to take place option. Okay, now under this 2s or location, now it is being mapped with Google Map. And whenever you are going to start typing, Let's say OK, and click on save. This reminder has been set based on location rather than any date and time. The difference between this particular reminder and this particular reminder is this is based on date and time. It's going to remind me on a particular date and time which are assigned to it. And this is going to remind me when I'm in proximity to this particular place. At that point of time, this reminder is going to remind me about pick the lengthy Madison. So this is all about nodes. Learn to Create List: Welcome back students. So for the n nodes, we are going to see that how we can create a list option. Now, there are two ways to do that. First, there is this option. You can see new list directly from here. You can do that. Or do you wanna go to note also, you need to click over here and you can click on Show checkbox. Then also it will serve the purpose. So let's say I want to let some grocery items. So I'm mentioning grocery in that item. And here I am making a list of it. So let's say I'm mentioning curry leaves. Okay, onion. Okay, it's going to suggest also, like you can see that okay, rice, orange juice. And that would be sufficient. Okay, so I've created a list, and now I can simply click on this close. And you can see a list has been created. Let's say I went to grocery and I've made a purchase of three items. I have got it from one market. So I'm going to take like this and it will be coming like this. You can see that it's looking very good. So these three items, I have made a purchase, so I've dipped them. Now these two are still remaining, so I'm going to purchase it later on. So this is how it looked like. Now if you want to remove it, that is also possible simply you need to click over here and it's going to be removed from being ticked. Okay, so this is how a list options can be created over here. So in this video, we are going to understand few of the options which you can see in the left-hand side. Now, before we proceed for that, let me tell you that when you're setting a reminder, one question could be in your mind where I'm going to be reminded. You are going to be reminded if this particular window is open, if you are logged into keep.google.com or if you have made the desktop notification on Google, Keep is an application which is available in Android mobile as well. So if you have got synchronized, let's say right now I'm connected with my Gmail account. And the same Gmail account is synchronized with my Android account. Whatever Google notes you are going to create our hair or reminders you are going to create over here. You are going to get the modification over your phone as well. Fine. So first of all, here is the nodes window from where you can create a nodes, and we have done that. Now, here is the reminder window. Now, if you will go into click over reminders, then all the nodes which has bought a reminder will be listed over here. So you can see that there are three nodes which have a reminder in it so that we are able to see. Now, here it is coming us edit label. I will come to this later on. Now after reminder, there is an optional archive. Let me make you understand. Now, letting come to this nodes. And let's say today one reminder, it serves its purpose. So what I'm going to do, I'm going to come over here, which is an archive option. I'm going to click. It has been archived. Archive is not equivalent to delete. I have not deleted this. This will be applicable in this archive folder. Here you can see that also there is this trash option. Let's say I'm coming over here and you can see one of the nodes which I have deleted. It's in trash and it's going to be here for seven days. If you want to remove it right now, you can remove it right now by clicking on empty trash. Now let's come to this particular option which is edit levels. Now, adept level option is being used in order to manage your notes properly. So let's send them into Edit level. And I'm going to create, let's say for home. Done. Let me go to the adult level once again. And here I'm going to create, let's say rock. That's fine. At a done two levels I've created. You can see one is for another. Walk. Let me come to this node section over here. So this particular grocery item list is related to home. So what I'm going to do, I'm going to come over here. Then I'm going to come to this particular option which is ad level. And from here I'm going to select, let's say on the single node can be assigned to multiple levels or so. That's the reason here, check boxes coming. However, I want to assign this to home. So I've selected now this picture Nancy medicine also I want to assign it to the form. So I've done that. This particular which is green project, this, I want to assign it to let say walk. And here also, I want this to assign to work. So this how I have managed it with the help of levels. Now, if I'm going brought home here, I will get to see all the live older nodes which are related to different people involved. Than I will get to see all the nodes which are related to work. Pin and Setting Option in Google Keep: Welcome back students. In this video, we're going to understand few more important options in Google nodes. Let's start. So these are the nodes that I have created. Now whenever I hover over any particular node, you can see this particular option is coming and this is to select a node. So let's say I'm selecting this particular node. Now the moment I will do that, you will get to see these options. Now there's the option to pin. I'm going to make you understand this. These are the options. We have already seen this as a reminder, set a reminder. This is for a background options and there's two Archive. Now, it is not the case that you can select only single node. Along with this, you can select multiple nodes. So let's say I want to select this particular note also. So I'm selecting this. If you want to individually been any particular node, you can see this particular option is coming and you can do this like this very easily. Hi, Well, I want to unpin this individually. Again, it is easy. You need to go over here and you can click like this. However, I've selected this particular node. I'm going to select this node as well. Okay? So this notice, well, now I've selected two nodes and I'm going to pin this. Now why I have pinned this? Because let's say I'm considering this important. There can be so many nodes. However, the important nodes need to be at the top. So this is why this print option is there. Now you can see these two nodes are pinned at the top. The rest of the nodes are under others tab. However, I want to unpin this. So I'm going to select this and going for this unpin option. These are very simple pin option yet very useful. Next, we're going to understand a few of the setting options. Let me go to this settings. Click on Settings. Now, over here you can see all the options which are important one-by-one. I'm going to make you understand. First option is add new items to the bottom. What is this option? One important aspect is this particular option by default is checked. However, what this particular option do here, you can see a node where there is a grocery list. I'm going to click over here. Here, I need to add a new item. I'm going to click over here. And I'm going to add, let's say, Good. Now you can see the new item has been added at the bottom. So this by default setting. If I'm going for setting, and if I'm going to uncheck this particular option, let me click on Save, which is very important. Now after this, Let me go to this node and I'm going to add an item. However, you can see now adding item option is coming at the top. So I'm adding an item which is milk. However, you can see the item has been added at the top. However, I want a new item to be added at the bottom only. So I'm going to check this. Next option is moved checked items to the bottom. Now what this particular option is, again, this particular option is checked. So let me show you. I have already purchased a rise. So I'm going to check this. Now the moment I've done this, you can see it is coming at the bottom. And this is a very nice option. I want it to be like this only. However, you can change this. Let me go to the settings and I'm going to uncheck this particular option. Click on Save. And now you can see the rice isn't, it's placed only it is not at the bottom along with the rice. Let's unclick on milk also. And you can see it is in its place only. Let me go to the setting and I'm going to check this particular option because I love this option. And you can see now this check options are at the bottom and it's look much organized. Apart from this, this particular option which is display a link previews means whenever you are going to add a web page, website, then you are going to get the preview. Now, one very important notice that particular website has to be secure or SSL certified. Okay. Let me come over here, take a note and I'm going to type this particular URL. And here you can see the previous coming. Let me click outside and you can see this particular figure. So that's the blue wave we are talking about. High worth. If you don't want to get the preview, then you need to go to the setting and you need to uncheck this particular option which is display a rich link previews click on Save, and now you can see the previews are disabled. Now again, I love this option, so I'm going to check this. Now this another important option which is enable dark theme. If I'm going to click over here, click on Save and you can see this is the dark thing. Now, many people loved this particular dark theme. However, for me, in this normal theme is okay. Fine. Now after this, these are a few options related to reminder defaults. Now what are the reminder defaults in the morning, it is eight M afternoon, 01:00 PM, evening, six PM. If you want to change it, you can. Let's say in the afternoon, I want to change it to two PM. I can do that. Now, the final option is sharing option and enable sharing is by default checked. This is very important if you want to share your notes and if you want to collaborate, you need to check this option. However, you can uncheck this also. These are few options related to settings.
