Various studies have shown that journaling reduces worries, increases self awareness, improves self regulation, boost motivation and behavior change. When you consistently reflect and write with intention, you literally rewire your system, and also strengthen thought patterns that align with the person you want to become. So when you write consistently and you write with intention, you literally rearrange your system, and this does not stop there. It's also strengthen those thought patterns, those particular thought patterns that are in alignment that are in alignment with the person you want to become. It's strengthen those thoughts pattern. I empowers those thought pattern. That is the link behind journaling and personal groups. When you consistently reflect and writes with intention, you literally rewire your system and also strengthen thought patterns that align with the person you want to become. How it differs from regular journaling. Traditional journaling is often reactive. You write about your day or vent feelings and insights. That is what traditional feelings does. You are able to define clear direction, clear path for yourself. You are able to understand what matters to you most and where you are heading. Motivation. Regularly connecting with your future vision keeps you driven. It keeps you going because you are regularly in connection with your future vision. So it keeps you going. It keeps motivating you and encouraging you. It keeps inspiring you. Resilence strengthens positive self talk and self compassion. So you are about to meet your future self, and the objective is for you to create a clear vision of your future self. So let's go and check it out. 3. Now that you understand the power of future self journaling, it's time to meet the person you are becoming. You are about to meet the person you dream to become. This module is about clarity. See your future self so vividly that they begin to guide your present decisions. That is what this Module two is going to do for you. It is going to bring you clarity so that you can see your future self vividly, that they begin to guide your present actions and decisions. Visualization techniques. Let's start with visualization. Try this. This is a powerful internal tool used by top athletes, performers and successful individuals to internally rehearse who they want to be. So when we talk of visualization, it's a powerful tool used by athletes, performers and successful individuals to internally rehearse what they want to be. So you'll be using visualization technique to internally rehearse who you intend to become. Close your eyes and imagine yourself one, three or five years from now. Where are you? What are you doing? How do you feel? What habit have you mastered? What kind of relationship do you have? How do you carry yourself? The more sensory detail, the better. The more sensory the detail is, the better it is. You are not just dreaming. You are training your head to believe in your potential. So when you apply these techniques, you are not just dreaming, you are training your head to believe in your potential. Crafting your future self identity, how do you craft your future self identity? Your future self is not just about what you do, it's about who you are. So your future self is not about what you do, it's about who you are. Think beyond external achievement. I need you to focus on your values, your mindset, how you handle worries, how you treat others, how you treat your Ask yourself, what qualities define my future self. What qualities define my future self. What do I need to embrace? You are crafting an identity that you can begin embodying now. So what you are doing is you are designing identity for yourself, which you can start embracing right away. You can start embodying now through your words, habits and self image. So you can embrace your identity through your words, your habits and your self image, and that is what I want you to do. You are crafting an identity that you can begin embodying now through your words, habits and self image. Setting intentions, not just goals. How do you set intentions? That is not just goals. A goal is a target. An intention is a way of being. A goal is a target. So your target is your goal. An intention is a way of being. Why goals are helpful. You have to keep going. That is what this exercise is going to help you achieve. We are going to module three, identifying limiting beliefs and rewriting your story. Lesson three, identifying limiting beliefs and writing your story. The objective of lesson three is that you are able to recognize and reframe the thoughts that is holding you back. Let's 4. Identify limiting beliefs and rewrite your story: Module three. Lesson three is titled identifying limiting beliefs and rewriting your story, how to identify limiting beliefs and rewrite your story. They tell you what you are not worthy of and what you will never become. They often sound like, I am not good enough. I always mess things up. These beliefs are formed from your past experiences. They are rooted, they are planted from your past experiences, criticism, fear, or social conditioning, and they operate quietly in the background, shaping your choices, insights and action. That is what these beliefs. That's what they do. They operate quietly in the background and they impact your choices. They impact your insights and they also affect your actions. Rewriting internal script through journaling, rewriting internal scripts, through journaling. The amazing part, these beliefs are just scripts and you can edit them. All those beliefs, all those limiting beliefs, they are just scripts and that is the sweetest part. That's the amazing part. And you can edit them. Now that you have gotten to know that they are just script and you can edit them, let's go and see how they can be edited. Future sfdonale helps you catch those thoughts, question them, and consciously choose a new narrative. That is what future Sefdonali does. It empowers you to catch those thoughts, to question those thoughts or to consciously choose a new narrative. Yes, how? Notice the belief without judgment. Ask yourself, is this true? Where did this come from? Replace it with a new belief that align with your future self. Example, limiting belief. I am terrible at follow through. Rerouting, I am becoming someone who follows through by taking one consistent step at a time. You are not pretending, doing this does not mean you are pretending. You are practicing a new inner identity. That is why you are doing Why you do this, when you rewrite your limiting belief. You are not pretending about those belief. You are practicing a new inner identity. Cognitive reframing techniques. This technique is simple, but effective. Step one, identify the on helpful thought. Step two, examine the evidence for and against it. Step three, create a more balanced or empowering thought. Your joa is the perfect place to do this work daily. Catch the thought, challenge it and reframe it in a way that supports who you are becoming. That's what the techniques is all about. You catch the thought, you challenge it, and you rewrite it in a way that supports who you are becoming. Exercise. Prompt. Last three limiting beliefs you currently hold about yourself. Then use future self journalism to rewrite each belief into an empowering one. List three limiting beliefs you currently hold about yourself. Limiting belief in one side, then empowering belief on the other side. You list them list three limiting belief below the limiting belief, then you write the empowering belief as well. Use language like I am learning to, I am becoming someone who I am becoming someone who my future self knows that these are the languages you are going to use. Example, limiting belief. I always fail at new habits. That's limiting belief. I always fail at new habits. Remember I said they are just scripts and you can edit them, you can rewrite them. Is the empy belief. Next, we are going to the next lesson, which is titled Journal prompt for personal transformation. The objective for this module is for you to learn powerful prompts for daily or weekly use. In the next lesson, I will be exposing you to prompts that are so powerful that you can use to transform your life, to transform yourself personally, and these are prompts that you can use daily or weekly. Future self prompt to build hit, mindset, and action. You want to take a look at future self prompt, which you can use to build your habit, your mindset, and action. These prompts help you actively step into your future identity. They are not just mere prompts. They are prompts that actively help you to step into your future identity. What would my future self do today? How does my future self undle challenges like this? What habit will my future self never skip? What one action can I take today to align with my future self? What am I doing today that brings me closer to who I want to be? These are great for daily use. They build alignment and serve leadership over time. They are great for daily use. They are great for weekly use, and they build alignment and set leadership over time. Prompt for gratitude, resilience and progress tracking. Gratitude and resilence are powerful tools for inner growth. Gratitude and resilience are powerful tools for inner growth. Try this. Six. What's one more win I am proud of today. We are continuing from last five. What challenge have I grown through recently? What am I grateful for in this season of life? What pleasure did I navigate well today? How have I shown up differently this week compared to the past? How have I shown up differently this week compared to the past? Use this weekly to build inner awareness and confidence. You have to use this every week to build your inner awareness and your confidence. How to stay consistent with your practice? How can you be consistent with this practice? Consistency is key, but it doesn't mean perfection. Here are some tips. Shall do a set time each day or week. Money was great for most people. My advice is that you shall do a set time each day or each week. In the morning, you can do it in the morning. It was great in the morning for most people. Keep your door visible and accessible. Use short prompt. You don't need to write a novel, just a short prompt. Create a ritual around journalism Music, quiet space, create a ritual around journalism. It could be a music, it could be it could be a quiet space. Remind yourself, it's a tool, not a chore. Remind yourself. You are not writing for perfection. This is the perfect window to connect with your future self and start your day with clarity and purpose. A good morning routine should be simple. No more than ten to 15 minutes. Focused centered on aligning with your future self. Repeatable, something you can stick with long term. It should be repeatable, something that you can stick with in a very long term. Structure example, gratitude. Write one to three things you are grateful for. Feature self prompt. Answer a powerful question like, what would my future self focus on today? What would my future self be focusing on today? Intention. Set a clear intention for today. One action step, identify one small step to align with your future self. This formula brings self awareness, direction, and motivation into your day before distractions take over. Why you do these things, they bring self awareness. They bring direction, they bring motivation into your day before distractions take over. Peering journaling with mindfulness or meditation. Peering journaling with mindfulness or meditation. To go deeper, peer journaling with a few minutes of mindfulness or meditation. Even three to 5 minutes of conscious breathing, guided meditation or stillness before writing can quiet your mind and help you assess your inner wisdom. That is the combination of 0.1 and 0.2, the three affirmations and the 60 seconds to visualize. The combination of both activates belief and insight, two keys to behavior change. You need those two keys to change your behavior, and when you combine both together, you activate belief and insight. Exercise, design your personalized 10 minutes mooning future self journal routine. One, write your routine. Create a step by step version of what your 10 minutes money practice will look like. Commit to testing this routine for the next three morning. Set a reminder, prepare your space, and track your consistency. After you have set the routine in one, then you go to two and start trying it out. Start practicing it based on the routine you have set and do it for the next three morning. Now, you set a goal, you're about to use journaling to do a doable and trackable definition of your goal. So let's go and check it out. One, clarify the outcome. My future self has successfully my future self has successfully launched a business, run a ten K business, 100 K business, run 1 million K business, reading the book. So you have clarified the outcome. That is what you want to achieve, and that is how you want to achieve. You can track your steps. My future self has successfully done what successfully launch a business, successfully writing a book. So you understand that. Then number two, map the part. Use prompts like what are the three most important milestone between now and the sources. Remember, your future self has successfully launched a business. That is the outcome. You have clarified the outcome. Now, you want to map out the parts. What are the three most important milestone now that you are yet to launch the business and the future that you have launched the business. What skills or habits do I need to build? Now, for it to be able to write that book, for it to be able to launch that book, for it to be able to run a ten K business, what skills or habits do you need to build? What skills or bit do you need to develop? Can you see how you are breaking your goals into actionable steps? Can you see how you are breaking How future self journaling is helping you to break it down into doable steps and a trackable steps? What can I do this week? What can I do today? What can I do now to move closer to that goal? What you ask yourself, what is it that you can do this week? What is it that you can do this month? What is it that you can do this day or now that we move you closer to that goal. Tracking progress and reflect. Celebrate small wins. What worked well today?
