Understanding HomeByMe: Welcome back. In this video, we're going to take a look at Home by M, which is the website we're going to be using to create the Free D room designs for our home. To find this website, simply go to home dooby me.com, and this is the website you'll be taken to. So first of all, we're going to have a look around the website, and then I'll show you how to use the F D Room designer. So let's just have a look at the Home page first of all. So there's a few different features within this website. We can look at the rooms that other people have created using Home by M. So we can use it for inspiration. And here we can also see how the designer actually works. So you can build rooms in two D and three D as well, allowing you to express your decoration style. So here's an example on the right just here. Then you can furnish your rooms. We have products from real brands. For example, furniture rugs, tables, kitchen cabinets, really anything you can think of. And you can even create amazing HD images within your project as well. So you could print these images off to keep you inspired when designing your home, or you could send them to builders to give them ideas of what you are wanting to get done. And here we go, you can even get feedback from family and pros by sharing your projects as well. And finally, you can even access your projects on the app on your phone. So as you can see, it says, find inspiration to furnish and decorate your home in FreD, or create your project on the go with the mobile app. Now, the app is amazing as well. However, the websites on a computer is much more user friendly in my opinion, but being able to access it via the app is an awesome feature. So then in the menu at the top, we have inspiration. So we have kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom design ideas, and then decor and tips ideas as well. Under get started, you can see how the program works. You can see home design features, dorials, design your own furniture, and you can be taken to the mobile app. Now, for now, these other tabs aren't very important. So what we're going to do is click, Sign Up and create our account. Simply create a user name, enter your e mail and create a password, then also add your country. Accept the terms and conditions, and then click Continue to create your account. So I'll do that right now. There we go, so now. What I'm going to do is click Accept, and then I'm going to click Continue. Now we can simply complete our profile. So you need to choose whether you're going to use this for personal or professional use. Mine is personal, so I'm going to click that. And then what we're going to do is accept the service conditions here. And if you want to receive the newsletter along with updates on new features, you can tick this box here, but I'm going to leave that for now and then click Continue again. And there we go. Now we'll be taken to our dashboard so that we are ready to create our first project. And you can see we have five free projects in the free account. And you can also get three free realistic images as well. If you look on the left over here, we can see we get five projects, nine standard definition images, three high definition images, and one top few as well. Can always upgrade your account to either pay monthly to get more of these credits, or you can simply purchase more images individually depending on what you need. So there we go. That is the basics of Home by me. Now we are ready to create our first project, but we won't be doing that yet in this video. For now, that is all for this video, I hope you enjoyed it, and I will see you in the next one. Thanks, and goodbye. 3. Getting Started with Your Design Project: Hello, and welcome back. So in this video, we're going to get started with Home by M by creating our first project. So in order to do that, all we're going to do is clickly create a project button from within our dashboard. So let's click that right now. And as you can see, our first project has now been created, and they are going to give us a few tips to help us get started, but we can ignore these, so let's just click next. And then we can give the project a name and then enter the type of project. I'm going to select renovation, and then the type of housing, I'm going to select house. But we do have the apartment option and the O option on here as well. Then I'm just going to name the project Now, you can do this. If you are designing a bedroom, you could do bedroom project. It is completely up to you. However, what I'm going to do is simply call it the Home Design Guide. And there we go, so we have completed all three of these steps. So now what we're going to do is click next. Then if you have an existing two D floor plan, you can use that as a model, but in most cases, you probably won't, so let's click no. And now we have two options, we can either add room by room or we can draw each wall of our floor plan, and that is the one I'm going to select. Now you could do room by room, if you prefer that option, you could have a look at both and see which is best for you. However, when you are doing this from a floor plan, in my opinion, it's easiest to do it by drawing the walls. But you do need the specific measurements of each wall in order to do that. So it is completely up to you, but that's what I'm going to select here. Now we are able to draw our first wall, and then we are able to validate the design. So this is just an example as I haven't found a home that I want to renovate yet. So what I'm going to do is simply click, and then I can just move my mouse or cursor until the wall is the length that I want it to be. So let's just say there to there, and then we can do the same for the next wall. And then this wall here. Let's just do it as a basic square. And then let's go back up to this wall here and click onto that. And then the first room will be completed. So then let's click the validate button. And then we go we have our first room. Once you've done that, you can view this in 2d3d, and also with a first person view. So we have two D currently enabled here. And then we have three D. As you can see, you can easily move around to look around your project, and then we have the first person view, which is like you are walking around inside your room. Now, I've built an absolutely tiny room here, but this is just a quick example. So let's go back to two D. Then you can zoom in and out using these options on the bottom left down here. So if you have a big project, you may want to zoom out. But if you just have a single room project, you might want to zoom in to focus on your project. So there we go, that is the basics. You can undo any changes or redo changes using these buttons at the top right, save your project using the save button. And then if you need any help, click the Help icon here, and this is where you can read the FAQs, contact support, and access the available keyboard shortcuts. Then at the top left, we have a few different icons. First of all, you can add additional walls, add rooms, add room separations, and add an exterior. Then we can furnish your project by adding furniture decorations, and many more, as you can see, options down this tab. After that, we have the image taking capabilities, so you can take a realistic image, a screenshot, a 360 degree image, and also a top few as well. Then we can access the images we have taken of this project by clicking the my images button. After that, we have annotations. So you can add arrows, rectangles, you can add anips, and you can also insert images. Finally, you can use the measurement option to measure any specific distance. You can measure from point to point to get the specific measurement for a distance. So Let's say we want to measure from this point here to just here. You can do that just like that, so we can see that this is 410. But let's close that. Now, as you can see, we are currently using feet and inches in the measurements for our project. If you want to change to use a different unit of measurement, you'll have to do that, but you need to go into your account. So first of all, let's save our project. And then we can close out of the project and click onto my account and go to private information. From here, we are simply going to scroll down, and then you have the option to change from feet to meters. So if you use feet, you want to keep feet enabled. But if you want to use meters and centimeters to measure your walls and everything else in your projects, all you need to do is select this option here instead, and then click save at the bottom down here. Now, if I go back to my dashboard and open up my project, I'll go back to two D. We can see that our project is now using meters and centimeters. So that is, of course, down to your personal preference, and it's probably down to what country you are from as to what units you are using. But as you can see, we have both options, so that is no problem at all. So let's have a quick look at how we can add furniture to our projects. It is super easy. All you need to do is go to this drop down box here and click the furnish button, and then you can add anything you want. So it's all filtered by rooms. So we have living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, dining room office, and then we have baby and kids and the entertainment room as well. And you even have outdoor furniture down here as well. So there is everything you will need in home by me, so you can add any type of furniture. So let's just say I want to add a simple TV. You can see these are all TV based furniture items. But let's say I want to add an actual TV. I'm simply going to type in TV in the search box up here. And here we have some TVs. Let's say we want to add this one here. Click the Add to Project button. And then we are simply going to add it to our project, and we want it to be here. So now if I go to the FD view, as I selected a wall mounted TV, we can see that the TV is on the wall. There we go. Now we've selected an absolutely tiny room, but that's okay. We can see the TV just here. Now, if I go back to two D and click onto the TV, we have a few different options, so we can view the info for the item we have added. We can duplicate it, replace it with another item, edit it, get the measurements for it, or alternatively, we can just delete it. Then as you can see, we have these different options here, so we can move it around by changing the angle that it's facing. And if you just click on it, you can just drag and move it anyway you want it to be. So I I instead want it to be on this wall here, or move it to here, and then angle it around so that it's 90 degrees. And make sure that it's on the wall. And there we go. We have moved the TV to that wall there. Then as well as adding furniture, you can also decorate. So this includes changing the floors, painting the walls, and so on. And you also have the build section as well. So this includes doors, windows, staircases, and then technical equipment as well. So electricity, heating, plumbing, and all that stuff down there. So we go, that is the basics of home by me. I'm now going to delete everything in here so that we are ready to begin creating our actual project. And there we go. So that's how easy it is to delete any walls that you do not want. Then I'm going to click the save button as well. And there we go. So that is all for this video. You should now know the basics of Home by me. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you in the next one. Goodbye. 4. Navigating Rightmove for Potential Homes: Hello, and welcome back. In this video, we're going to look at how we can navigate R Move to find potential homes that we can redesign using Home by M. Now, of course, you don't have to use R Move. If you're from the UK, the two most popular sites are R Move and Zupla, and if you're from another country, you'll probably already have a site that you like to use for finding homes. So I'm just going to go back to R Move for this example. And what we're going to do is have a look at how we can find the right property to redesign using Home by M. Of course, if you already own a home that you'll want to redesign, you can just add your home to home by me and start redesigning your rooms. But you could find a home on R Move to use to practice with, or if you do not yet have a home, you can find one using R Move. So let's get started. We are simply going to type in a location that we want to find the home in. So I'm just going to type Liverpool for this example. Then we'll go into this first one here, and then I'll select for sale. Now we can add any of these specifics. Now, I think we want ei houses or flats We could do a bungalow, but it doesn't really matter as this is just an example, and then you're going to want to select your price range and the number of bedrooms. But this is, of course, all down to what you are looking for. So now I'm just going to click the fined properties button, and as you can see, we have loads of properties appear here. What I'm going to do is use the property type filter and only show detached houses, flats and bungalows. And then I'm also going to set the MX price at 300,000 pounds so that we're not finding anything too crazy. And now we're simply going to look for properties that have floor plans added and that need redesigning. Let's have a look at this one here. This could be quite a good example. All you want to do once you've found a property is click onto it. As you can see, this one has no floor plan added. Let's just go back to the search results and see what else we can find. Let's have a look at this one here. This one could be a good option. But I'm just going to keep scrolling for now. I'm just going to go through the pictures of a few of these. Here we go. This one. In fact, let's keep going. It's all down to what stands out to you really. But I think this could be a good one. This looks like a good property for us to use. I'm just going to go through the pictures quickly. Yes, we can redesign the kitchen. We can redesign the lounge and the dining room. So I think this is quite a good one to use. Now, I'm not going to redesign all of the bedrooms. I'll just do one, but we also have a floor plan, which is the main thing here. 5. Analyzing Floor Plans and Measurements: So we have all of the different measurements for the different rooms. So we have the three bedrooms at the top up here, the dining room lounge, and the kitchen as well. Now what I would recommend is writing down the measurements for each of these rooms. Or if you are redesigning your own home, you need to go and get a tape measure and measure each of the rooms in your house. Then once you have done that, you want to go back to home by me and start building the walls for each of these rooms onto home by me. What I'm going to do is start at the bottom down here. So we're going to ignore the porch and the garage, and we're going to start with the kitchen and the lounge. I think that's the best way for us to begin here because there's no point in really designing the porch or a garage. These are quite simple rooms. However, the kitchen and the lounge are much more specific. So let's have a look at the kitchen here. We can see that it's 4.76 meters by 2.61. That might say 4.75, but I can't quite read it. It's a bit blurry, but that doesn't really matter. Considering it's that specific. We also have the measurement in feet, which is 157 by 87. So we do have both measurements to choose from. So let's go ahead and add the kitchen to home by me. So this is 4.76 meters by 2.51. So we're going to go to the option at the top left, and we're going to click add wall. And I'm going to draw this down here. Now, I actually can't remember exactly what it was. I think it was 2.61, which is 261 centimeters by 42.61 by 4.76. There we go. And then that will just connect. There we go. We have our first room added, and this is our kitchen. There we go. We have got our kitchen added to our design on home by me. Now if I go to three D, we can see the walls, which is absolutely fantastic. So now let's go back to two D. In fact, I just realized I did 2.51 instead of 2.61. Let me just alter this really quickly. And I've also done the length as 4.66 when it's meant to be 4.76. Let me just change that as well, and there we go. We now have the correct measurements for our kitchen, which is 4.76 meters by 2.61 meters. And that has now automatically calculated the area, which is 12.4 meters squared. Let's go up to the top right and click save because we do not want to lose our project. 6. Using HomeByMe for Kitchen Redesign: Welcome back. So now that we have got the floor plan for our room, what we need to do is build our kitchen. So we're going to build our kitchen project and design our kitchen. But before that, we have to add the openings, so the doors and windows, and as well as that customize the walls and the flooring and things like that as well. So let's start with the flooring, in order to customize the flooring on any room, in a project on home by me. What we need to do is click onto the room, click edit. And then, of course, you have the room name, the room type. And all of these different options, if you scroll to the bottom, you can add technical details, for example, a picture and a baseboard. But what we want to do is customize the flooring. So let's click onto that. Then we have all of these different material options. And what I'm going to do is select wall and floor tile. And I'm just going to add this one here. So we've got a nice, simple, tiled floor for our kitchen. There we go. That is super simple. Next up, we're going to go ahead and add the openings for our room. So this is doors and windows. So first of all, let's add the external door just here, and this is going to be an external door. So let's click on two Build. And then exterior doors, we either have front door, patio door, or garage doors. So let's choose patio door, and let's scroll down until we can find one suitable for the kitchen. I think this one here is perfect. Let's add this in, and we want it to be opening outwards. So this is fantastic, and there we go. That's absolutely perfect. Next up, we are going to add the window. Let's go back to build. And this time we're going to go to windows. We have simple windows, double windows, sliding windows, patio doors, and roof windows. But I'm going to add double windows, and most of these are the same, so I'm just going to add this one here. And once again, we want to make sure that it opens outwards. And let's put the window just about here. So let's have a look at that in three DD. Okay, that's good. And so is the door, but I think the window needs to be not so high. So let's click the edit button, and I'm going to change the window height to 100 centimeters. Then we're going fantastic. Now it looks like the window is too low, so let's change the height from the floor to 110. We go. That's brilliant. And then whilst we're here, you can see the other options, so you can change the wall opening and the wall side for your windows, and that is the same for your doors as well. So that is how you customize all of that. Now let's go back to two D, and we're going to add the interior door that will go into the lounge. Let's go to build, and then go to build again and go to interior doors, and let's click onto folding doors. And we have many different options, but this one here is perfect, so let's click ad, and let's make sure it opens outwards, and let's put it about here. Well, let's just say here is fine. And now if I go back into Free D, we have the door, which will eventually open into the lounge as well. So there will go that is absolutely fantastic. Make sure to save your changes by clicking the save button, and now we have saved the changes that we've made. And now we are ready to add the kitchen units and appliances and all of the different things that we want to have in our kitchen. In order to do that, simply click on to furnish. And then because we are building a kitchen, we're going to go to the kitchen section. And then we have kitchen cabinets. All of these are available to you. Let's go back to kitchen. We have pre built sets, furniture, appliances, and decoration accessories. So now let's go to pre built sets. And as you can see, there are loads available to us. To give you a quick example, I'll just add one of these to the project. Let's add this one here. Now, let's make it fit in by rotating this a little bit. There we go, and let's position it into the corner. Fantastic. Now let's go back to free D, and we can see that we have a kitchen in our kitchen. Now this is just a really quick example, but it looks quite nice. But what we're going to do for now is to delete this because we're going to build our kitchen from scratch. So now let's go back to furnish again, and let's have a look at what other units are available to us. I'm going to add this bit of furniture here because I think that will be good just for the end wall, something quite simple where things can be stored. Let's go onto first person and have a look at that. That's decent. It's nothing special, but it's just a nice bit of furniture. Now I can edit the width of it to make sure that it fits in the wall perfectly, but I'm just going to leave it for now. Then of course, we have our back door here, and then our window here. I'm thinking something like just full of cupboards here, and then a sink. And what else do we need? A wall cupboard in this space up here, probably a dishwasher or washing machine in this space here. And then We've got to make sure it can fit in, so we may have to have an oven or a fridge as well fridge freeze I reckon possibly coming out from this side of the wall. Let's have a look. In fact, it would probably have to be here or in the center. Yeah, we need a few things to be added here to make this a proper kitchen. But I'm going to start by adding a sink and a corner cupboard here so that we can start getting the layout put together for our kitchen. I'm just going to go back to kitchen and then go to kitchen appliances. Then on the left over here, we can see all of the different appliances we can add. Let's go ahead and add a fridge freezer. I think we'll have space for a massive one like one of these double ones. But I think a sm fridge freezer could be good. Let's add that in and I'll just put this here for now. We're going to have to do some moving around in a second. Let's leave it like that for now, and I'll go back to two D. Then let's go back and click on to furnish again and go back to appliances. We're also going to need we're going to need a washer and dryer. Let's just say that this is a built in washer dryer, so it's all in one. But for now, I'll just add this one here. And we can put that just there. We can imagine that the plumbing will go along this back wall here. We will want things like the dishwasher washing machine sink all along this wall as that just makes the plumbing a lot easier. We're also going to need a dishwasher as well as this washing machine, and then we'll need a sink as well. Let's go back. Appliances and click on to dishwasher. And here we go. We have an integrated dishwasher, I think that will be absolutely perfect. I'll just put that next to the washing machine. There we go. I think that's facing the right way. If it's not, we can change that in a minute. Then we need a sink. We'll go to kitchen, kitchen cabinets, and then click onto sinks. Now this isn't what we need. Let's go back and I think what we will need first is a base cabinet. In fact, this one here says sync cabinet. We may need a small one like this. I don't think a double one would work. Yeah, let's just add this one. And place that in just here. I'm going to have another unit in between the sink and the washing machine and dishwasher. We're also going to have to fit in an oven somewhere as well. This is getting quite tricky with the limited space in this specific kitchen. But if I go back into first person, we have our fridge unit. We have our, we have a sink unit, and then these two as well, I think they are facing the wrong way. Let's just look at this. I'm going to put them all in the middle just so I can see what they actually look like. I know this one is meant to face that way. I reckon this one needs the same rotation. And I can put these back to the wall. The sink, I'm not too sure, so I'm going to have to look at this in first person. Put too close to it there. I did this right, as you can see, this is the front of both of these units. I might take it away from the door a little bit, so there's some more space there. Then the sink, I think that this is the front here. Let's go back onto two D, and then I'm just going to rotate that there. Slightly more. There we go. Like I said, I just want to move these two units further into the room slightly so that it's not too crowded next to the door. There we go, so that is much better, and then we can put the sink below the window. We can add a corner unit, an oven, another unit next to the fridge. I may as well put the fridge up to the wall a bit more. I think this is looking okay and we could add some more wall units and things like that as well. Let's have a quick look. We have our fridge here. We have our sink unit with space for another unit next to it. We want to want to add a corner unit and a corner wall unit as well, and then another wall unit up here as well. Then we do have a little bit of space on this wall here, we're going to see what we can do here, but we may have to just leave it blank for now. Let's go back to furnish and go back to the kitchen cabinets. Let's go to base cabinets. And we're going to add this corner cabinet here. Then we're just going to be putting this into the corner, just like this, which means the sink will have to come a bit further away. There we go. And then we can start fitting everything together. We may in fact have to have the sink and dishwasher next to each other, or we could see if we could fit a mini unit in just there. Let's just move these both out the way for now just to see how much room we have, and I'll go ahead and add one more units. We have a base cabinet here, and another smaller one here. Let's see. Now we probably will want an oven added. Let's add that now. There we go. I think this isn't too bad. I'm going to see if I can add a small unit in between the oven and the fridge and then a small unit next to the sink as well. Now of course, you need to do this to your own style to make sure that it fits how you want your kitchen to look. There we go. I'll just push this back. I'll all click in nicely. Least it should do. I'll duplicate that, rotate it just here, put that next to the sink. There we go. That's much better. Then I just want to see how both of these can fit in as well. Is that right back to the wall? There we go. This obviously want to be as far forward as it can be. I think that's good. Then we could have space for another small cabinet here. Why I'm going to do is make this small cabinet wider. What we will do is click edit and I'm just going to double the width of it. You can customize the dimensions of all of your cabinets. There we go, I might make it 50 in fact. Then I'm just going to push this to click up next to it. I'll do the same with the washing machine as well. Then I think I will just fit in one more smaller cabinet. Let's duplicate this one again. And bring this down here. Then we can simply rotate this. And there we go. Fantastic. Let's go back into first person mode, and have a look at our kitchen. We are going to add some wall cabinets as well, and we will need to add our worktop above the washing machine. Let's look for a corner wall cabinet. Now we will want to add a bin somewhere, but we do have all of this shelving here, and this space down this wall as well. I think we've done quite well for the space that we've got. What I'm going to do is add the corner wall cabinet just here. Let's do that right now. Let's go to Wall cabinets and click onto the corner wall cabinet just here. Of course, we want to make sure that it's facing the right way. Pretty sure that that is just like that. Fantastic. Then we can add another cabinet to the left of it, a wall cabinet, of course. I'll just add this one. That looks like it's going to fit in absolutely perfectly. There we go. Let's have another look at this in first person. There we go. That's lovely. So we have our wall cabinets up here. If it will fit, I'll try and duplicate this wall cabinet to have it above the washing machine as well, just so that we have that extra storage. Let's go back to two D, and I'm just going to duplicate this. Here we go and rotate it as well. Let's see, is this going to fit in? I think it will do act. I think it fits quite well. Let's have a quick look. Then we're going think. That's all right. Now we can alter the window slightly and the door. I can move the door slightly further away. There we go. And the window should be fine. But I'll just move it this way a little just so that there's no errors there. I think that that all looks really good. Now what we're going to want to do is customize the design of the cabinets and the worktops, and all of these different things. We will of course also need to add worktop above the washing machine. Let's quickly do that first of all. Here we go, I think this one is absolutely perfect. Let's click onto that and add that just there. Now if I go back into first person again, that all fits in absolutely fantastic. There we go, that is awesome. Now we will also need to add a tap for our sink so that we can actually add the water to the sink, but that shouldn't be too difficult. Depending on a space that is there. I think this is looking quite good. Now there's a few changes I would make, but this is quite a small kitchen. Let's go back to two D, and I'm just going to click onto one of these wall cabinets and I'm going to click Edit. Then as you can see, we have all of these styles for these cabinets. Let's click onto the front first of all, and we have all of these different options. I'm going to stay with wood. I'm just going to select a different wood style. I'm going to try this one here. Then of course, I'll have to go back into first person to actually see if I like it. I don't think that looks very good. Especially not if it was all that same color. I'm going to go back to two D, click onto it again, click edit. Let's just dry this first one here. Step a bit further away. That's not too bad, in fact, that's quite light. It's not too heavy. Then let's have a look at the handles as well. Let's go down to H handles, and I'll click on two H handles shape. And we just want to select a shape for our handles. I think that something quite simple will probably be best. Let's have a look at these ones here. Now we can go back into first person, and there we go that's more simple. I quite like that, but let's have a look at another option just in case there's a better option available. Let's see one of these ones do. I like this one here. I'm also going to dry a different cabinet color. So I'm going to stick with wood. But I think that this is a bit too light. So I'm going to click the one below it as that's a bit darker. And then we can go to first person again, and then we go that is much better. So now I'm going to go ahead and add that style to all of our cabinets. I'm also going to customize the worktop as well. So I'm going to do the cupboard styles. But first of all, let's have a quick look at the worktop styles that we can choose. Let's click onto this one here and click edit, and then I'll click onto worktop. And I'm going to see the Stones options. And see if there's good option here. Let's have a look at this one. This could be quite nice. Let's go back into first person. Let's try and put that on a bigger work top piece so that we can see it properly. Back to stones, and it was this one down here. Let's have a look at that. I do like it, but I don't think it's going to be seamless across all of the kitchen. I think I'm going to have a look at a different option before I choose anything properly. Let's go back again. I'll go back to wood. Let's see if there's a dark wood oak option that we could choose, or even this. This one doesn't look like oak, it looks like walnuts, which could be good. So let's have a look at that. That's not too bad. Although you do want your cabinets to match, you want your doors to match. You want it all to match nicely together. So that is a very important thing to remember. So we do have this style on the side over here for these shelves. So we could try and find something similar to that. We have a black metal frame with wooden shelves. So we could have black worktop, and then Chrome handles. I'm not too sure on the handles yet, and then the worktop could match in with these shelves. So it's important to go through all of the different options to find exactly what you want to use. However, you might never find the perfect options on home by me. This is mainly for building the layout, and then when you go to actually building your kitchen in real life, that is when you will actually choose the real design of all of your items. So that is very important to remember as well. But if you can get it as close to real life as possible, that is definitely the best option available. I don't like looking at the sinc without it having a tap. Let's go to furnish and then go back to kitchen. Here we go. This one looks good. Let's add that and then place it in just there. I believe I need to rotate this this way and I may need to move it just a bit further towards the sink. Let's have a look at this in three D. I mean in first person. There we go, that looks absolutely fantastic. So we now have a sink with a tap added as well. So now I'm going to go ahead and spend a few minutes customizing all of the cupboard doors, door handles and worktops, as well. And this is the last piece of worktop. So now if I go back to first person and have a look. I think this looks absolutely fantastic. I really like this, in fact. There we go. Now, I think there are more changes that we can make to the worktop. I think we can change what it looks like on the front. If I go back to two D again and click onto this first one here and click Edit. I think it's the edge. If I click onto that, and then click onto the same design we used for the worktop. This one here, and then go back into first person. There we go. That's fantastic. I'm going to go ahead and do that to all of these right now. I think I've actually put this unit too close to the sink. I'm going to have to move all of these slightly further away as well. I'm not sure. I may have selected a bad sink. I'm not sure exactly what I've done here. Let's have a look at this. It looks like this unit just goes over the sink. Now, this is going to be quite a simple problem. I'll just have to make this not as wide this unit. But for now, that doesn't matter. Let's go ahead and customize the edge of all these work tops as well. And then we can do the handles and the front of all the units too. Let's do that right now. Okay. This is the last one. Then I will make this. I will do is just bring it out. There we go. And then I can do the same with the others. Just move them slightly further away. Let me just select these and move them. Okay. And we do have those two fixed together. I can't forget about that. All right Let's move that. Let's just make sure this isn't too close again. There we go. And then I can just drag these back in next to it. Fantastic. I think that that is all good. Then I can put the washing machine back with the work top on top of it. There we go, and this final cupboard as well. There we go. Fantastic. Let's save what we have done and go back into first person. Now if I step back a bit and have a look at the kitchen. This is looking better. And the sink actually fits in there as well. So that's absolutely fantastic. I think I'm just going to end up deleting this end cupboard here because it's not really working very well. That means we have space for everything else to fit in a bit better. And other than that, I'm going to I think I'm actually going to leave all the units white because that looks quite nice. But what I will do is change the handles. I think I've selected the right handles for this one. I just didn't need to change the color of the cupboards. I'm just going to change this back to white. So I'm just going to select this wall cabinet and click onto the front. And I believe it was a matt paint and it was just white. Let's see if that looks the same as the others now. It's slightly different, I think, but it doesn't really matter. This is just a quick design. So now I'm going to go ahead and make it so that all the handles are the same as these ones on here. So I'm just going to check exactly which of these ones were on the handle shape. It was this one just here. Let's go through all of them right now. Handle shape. I think it was this one. And then I'll do that for all of them. And then we go that's absolutely fantastic. I did also forget about this wall unit here. I'll just do that quickly as well. Let's get that done. Then we'll go so now let's click save and go back into first person. And then we go that is absolutely fantastic. That is a lovely kitchen. We have an oven, a fridge freezer, a sink, a dishwasher, washing machine, lots of shelving space. This could be anything though. You could have other units over here if you wanted, lots of cupboard space at the top. The only thing that's missing is a drawer system, so we could add some drawers somewhere instead. But for now, I think this is looking absolutely fantastic. Now, of course, if you want to, you can add appliances to the worktop if I go back to furnish and then kitchen, and then appliances. And then small appliances. So you have all of these worktop appliances that you can add. But for now, I'm just going to leave them, and I am happy with the kitchen that we have put together. Now there's a few changes that we could make. I haven't had it a bin. I haven't had it a draw unit. So there are a few things missing. But for a quick kitchen design, I think this is looking really, really good. It's just this end here that I think that could do with a change. But other than that, I think it's all good. So there we go. We have successfully built our kitchen using home by me. L et's click Save, and we have completed our kitchen. 7. Creating 3D Mockups of your Kitchen: So there are some changes that we could still make, but I think we are more or less ready to take some free D photos or mock ups of our kitchen. So to do that, what we're going to do is click onto the photo tab over here, and then we have a few different options. So we can take a realistic image, a screenshot, a 360 degree image, or a top few. But of course, it is up to you as to which one you select. So what I'm going to do is select the realistic image option. And as you can see, it says you can create up to three realistic images. You'll be notified once your image is ready on your project page. So don't show me this again and get started. So let's choose what angle we want to get of our kitchen. I think this angle is quite good. Can we step any further into the corner? No, we can't. So this is probably the angle we're going to have to go with. I think this looks quite good. So now let's go ahead and take the picture. Now before we take the picture, what we're going to do is look at these settings at the bottom down here. So this one allows us to display characters. We won't do that. This one allows us to change the mood. So we have default, Golden Hour, Nordic, and nighttime, or you can add a completely new mood. We have a background image as well. I'm going to go to daytime. I'm also going to change. I'm going to keep artificial light on, and I'm also going to change the background image. We do not want a night view. What I'm going to do is select default as I think that doesn't really matter. I don't really like golden hour. In fact, it's not too bad, but it's just the sun coming through, which can create some annoying shadows. There we go fill select default. And then we have the final option. Which gives us some preset camera angles. We have this one from on top of the worktop. We have this one here facing the sink. This one facing the back door. We have this one here on the worktop at the back wall, and we have this one facing the internal door and the fridge. I think I prefer the first one, so I'm going to select this. Or, of course, you can close out of that and simply create your own angle, which is what I'm going to do. I'm going to step a bit back. I'm just going to step to this side slightly and then try and get further into the corner. There we go, and now look into the kitchen. I think that is fantastic, and then simply take the photograph. So click this white circle and this will take the image. Then simply select your image quality. Now we get three high definition images for three, and we get nine standard definition images. For this one, I'm just going to select the standard definition image. And then we're going to click the create a new realistic image button. There we go. Now it's going to take it, and it will let us know once it's been taken. You can now either create a new image or you can click, and that will simply take you back to the F D view. Now I'm going to save the project. Fantastic, close the project. And as you can see, now if I go back to the dashboard, you can see that the image is now here available for us to view. And there we go. That is the image that we have taken. Now, I did select standard definition, which doesn't look too good. However, you also get the free high definition images available as well. There we go, that is how you take a free of your project in home by M. Now this is our kitchen, but we'll also do the same for the other rooms that we create as well. There we go, that is all for this video. You do not have to select the standard definition. You could have selected high definition, and you also get one for a top view image as well. But I'm going to use that once I've created all of the other rooms as well. The top view image that I take will have all of the rooms in the view. There we go, that is all for this video. I will see you in the next one. 8. Redesigning the Living Space with HomeByMe: Next, we're going to use home by me to design our lounge or living room. So if I just go back to right move, we can see the property here, and we have the lounge just here. So we've done the kitchen. I actually should have added this box cupboard in the corner of the kitchen, but that doesn't really matter. And now what we're going to do is the lounge. So we have the entrance door at the bottom down here, and then we have the measurements for the lounge are 5.53 meters by 4.35. So we need to remember that. And the lounge has an opening to the dining room. But I'm going to leave that because we're just going to focus on the lounge. And then after that, we're going to have a look at some of these other rooms up here. But let's focus on the lounge for now, and we have the measurements down here. You can take the measurement in feet or meters. But I've been using meters, so I'm going to carry on with that. So we have 5.53 by 4.35. So let's go back to home by me, and we're just going to open our project. And go into two D. And then what we're going to do is add a wall. And it is 4.35 wide. Let's do that first. 435, and 5.53. 553. There we go. Then we can continue again, and that is absolutely perfect. We can see that if I click validate, we can see that the room has an area of 23 point 1 meter squared, and we can also go ahead and add the entrance door to the bottom down here. I may as well just duplicate the other door that we have and bring that down here. There we go. And I believe that door actually opened the other way. We can check that though. Oh, no, never mind. I was wrong. It does open into the room. And there we go. So we have the room measurements, and we have the door. I'm going to click Save again so that we can now begin designing our living room. So what I'm going to do first of all is click onto it and click edit. And then we're going to name the room lounge and the room type will be a living room. So we could name it living room, we could name it loounge, whatever you call it. It is the room with the sofas and the TV, basically. There we go. Let's click, save again. Fantastic. Now we are ready to begin designing our room. Let's go back into FD. We can see our room here. We can design the walls, we can design absolutely everything. We can add sofas, we can change up the floors, whatever we want to do. But we do know that there is an opening over this side, so we don't want to put a TV on this wall. So I will do is add an opening. And to do that, I'm going to go to build, and then we're going to go to not sure, this isn't a door, so I'm not sure exactly what to call this. We could just leave it for now, or I could add sliding doors. Let's see. I could just add something like this. O this. There we go. This one is absolutely perfect. Let's add this. And it's just off to the left slightly, I believe, if I go back to the floor plan. Yeah, it's definitely not centered. It's definitely on the left. And there is also a door on this side here as well. So if I duplicate this door here, and there we go. I will just change the way that it opens. Fantastic. Let's click Save. I think that's looking pretty good. We'll actually just move it to the left a bit more, and then I'm going to do the same with this door here. And then we go. Now what we're going to do is find a nice corner sofa. In fact, what is the best way to design a room like this? Because there's doors all over the place. You can't have a sofa on this wall. You can't have a sofa on this wall or this wall. You've got to be careful with the way you do it. First of all, let's just add a main wall, which can be this wall here, and we can click edit, and then we're going to customize the wall covering. We could add a wallpaper. Let's see how this looks. I think something that stands out a bit more will look better. We don't want anything too dark though. That's interesting. About something quite red. Of course, this depends on what style you are going for, or we could go completely different and just say we could have a red wall. Let's have a look at this in first person. I don't think that's too bad to be honest. Now we're going to have to figure out where we're going to put the TV and the sofas and things like that. Now, in the actual house, this isn't a door. This is just an opening, but that doesn't really change anything. All of them still need to be accessible. And we're going to want to add a TV. We're going to want to add sofas. And I've also just realized there's actually a double window on that entrance wall as well. So on this wall just here, there is a big window. So I may as well add that just to be as realistic as we can. So let's go back to build, and then windows and double windows, and we're going to try and find a nice big window to look realistic. I don't really think any of these look very good. Let's go to sliding windows. I don't really like those either. I'll just add this one here. Yeah, that's not too bad, actually. We can add that. And then just make it open outwards rather than inwards. What I'm going to do is add a sofa. I think I'll put the TV in the corner here and then add a sofa here and here, I believe, Let's go ahead and go to furnish and find sofas. Let's try and find a nice sofa. There we go these ones here look quite good, so let's add two of these. Let's put one just here and then duplicate it and rotate it. In fact, I move this one a bit further back. And put this one. It's tricky making this all fit. This might be quite a big sofa, I'm not sure. Then we can add a TV. Is there a TV? This is interesting. I'm going to try and type in corner TV. Okay, this looks good. And I could actually add a corner so far instead of the ones we've added. Let's have a look at that as well. There we go. I think that fits in a bit nicer, and then we can delete the other sofas that we already had. Then let's go back and add the TV that we're going to add. I think one of these top cabinets we have to do. Let's add this. And that must be the back. This is looking okay. But I'm not super happy with it. Let's have a look in three D. That sofa looks absolutely massive. And that cabinet looks absolutely tiny. Sometimes it's a bit tricky based on what is actually available. Now, we can see if there's a smaller corner sofa that we could add. How about this one? To be honest, it's about the same. If I rotate that. Yeah, it's just taking up the exact same space, if not more. I'll try and put the TV on the wall here to save some space and use less furniture. Let's just add this. Put up that on the wall. How does that look? That's not too bad, Posably a bit too high. And we can move it to the left of bit. This isn't too bad. Then we could add a wall light or some sort of light to the wall. Let's see. Something like this could be okay. How does that look? That's right. And a nice big clock on this wall as well, I reckon. Okay, let's see what we have here. This is a good one because it's mirrored. Although I like the one below it as well. Let's see. Let's go with the one below it. It's not a massive clock, so doesn't fit the wall too well. Okay. Is there anywhere else we could put it? What about on this wall here? We turn around. We could just add it on this side here. Possibly just here. I think that could work. Then we really need to find a smaller corner sofa or just have one sofa instead. Dog. Let's see what we can find on here again. Something like this could be okay. Yeah, this seems all right. Let's add this and then rotate it around. Then it just doesn't take up a crazy amount of space like that sofa did. And have that in front of the TV. That's not too bad. I think that's a bit better. I have a look at it in first person. Does it seem like a tiny sofa. Now, I think that looks all right. Then there is room for another sofa over here or a coffee table or something like that. Let's go and try and add a coffee table. I'm not really a big fan of any of these. How about this one? That seems more for a garden. I don't really like it. Let's see what else there is. How about this one here? That's good. It's not too big, either. That could even sit in the corner down here and then be pulled out when it's needed. Let's stand over here and have a look into the room. Yeah. Then you could pull that corner, coffee table whenever you're having drinks or something like that. Then we could probably add some more stuff to the wall as well. Let's see what we could find. If I just type in a wall. Okay, this is a nicer wall lamp, in fact than the one I already added. Actually, all of these are nicer. I said that. I think next to the TV could be quite annoying. I just don't like how plain this all is. Let's see what else we can add. Oh, actually. If we're adding a TV to the wall, we could actually have a full media wall, which could look a lot better. Let's have a quick look at some of these. It's all the same stuff, really. And what if I add of these two here, I think? I think this one looks better. And we could have that. And then I've put it on the wrong side of the wall. That's a bit stupid of me. So I've put that on the wrong side of the wall. Let's click undo. That's still there. Let's undo that again. It's not going to let me undo it. I'm just going to delete it. And then I'm going to delete this little lamp for now, and I'll move the TV over here for now, and I'm going to t and add this to the wall again. Is it going to let me? They're going to let me click it. I should have done this in a different view. How about that? Is that on the wall? I think that looks good. Let's see if we can add the TV back in the middle here. There we go. That's better. Then just move the coffee table around here. Now let's go into first person again. So we have the TV on the wall. Now we could probably move that to the side a bit. Let's go behind the sofa. Now the TV fits there nicely. We could have it a bit lower, but other than that, I think that's good. Then we have a coffee table, we have the doors, we have a clock on the wall over here. I think that's looking quite good. Now I don't really like the color of this wall anymore. What I could do is go ahead and change that color to something a bit more calm. Let's see. Looks okay. I like this one. Yeah, I think that's better. Of course, it depends on your style and what you're going for in your room. But I think this is looking good. We have the entrance door and the window at the front here. We have the kitchen behind us. So if I go back into two D, we can see what we have put together here. We have our coffee table, of course, as well, which you can just bring in when you need it. And then we've got all of this open space. So I wanted, you could add a second sofa. But I like it when the room is a bit more open. So I think this looks quite good. Okay, so there we go. I think we are about done with our lounge, living room area, and I think it looks really nice. We could change the flooring, but I like the nice wooden flooring. If you did want to change it, you could just click edit, go onto the flooring, and select anything that you wanted to use. I do not like that at all. Let's click undo. However, we have hardwood carpet. Actually, let's have a look at how a carpet would look in here. Add this, then go back into first person. Okay, the carpet textures don't really work too well. But I think that looks nice. A carpet would make it better for sound as well. So for a lounge living room, I think carpet is probably a good idea. So there we go. We have successfully built our living room. That's all for this video. I'll see you in the next one. Goodbye. 9. Bringing Your Living Room Design to Life in 3D: Bring our living room design to life and create a high quality image of it. For the living room, we're going to create a high definition image. We're going to click onto the realistic image button. Now we want to go into the right room that we want to take a picture. Let's go through here and select our angle. I think I'm going to take the picture from this side and show the entire room, and now we are ready to click the button to take our image. I'm just going to line it up nicely. I think that's great, so let's take the image. And we're going to use a high definition image. So we are using one of our free credits. So now let's click the button down here. And now we'll be able to find the image in our dashboard. And they will also send you an e mail when it's ready. So click, Got it, and then click Save. Close out of the project. And let's go back to the M images section. And we currently have just the image of the kitchen. So I think it's not quite ready yet. I'm just going to refresh the page. Now if I go back in here, it's still not quite ready. I think that's because it is a high definition image, so it takes a bit longer than the standard definition image that we took of the kitchen. So give it a few minutes and then refresh the page again, and it should be on here. And there we go. It's been about an hour. But I've now received the e mail, saying that my image is ready. We can see it here in the e mail, and I don't really like the carpet we chose or the wall color. But of course, that's really easy to change. And then to view the image, simply click the view your realistic image button in the e mail. And then it will show us the images that we have taken in this project. So as you can see, we have the image right here, and this looks really good. But now I do know some things that I want to change, for example, the wall color, and I would probably go to a different carpet. This was just a simple lounge design that we created. So then to download your image, right click your image and click Save Image As. So there we go. That is how you create a realistic image of your lounge Using Home by me. That's all for this video. Thanks, and goodbye. 10. Designing the Perfect Bedroom with HomeByMe: Back. Next up, we're going to design the perfect bedroom using home by M. So let's go back and open our project. And we're going to go back into two D. And of course, we have the kitchen and the lounge, which we have already designed. And then what we're going to do is add the other rooms up here, for example, the bedroom and any other rooms that we might add to the floor plan. Let's go back to right move to see the floor plan. As you can see here, we have the dining room, which we're not going to do. And then we have bedroom one up here, which will be the one that we design. So I think I may as well add the dining room to the home by M project, but we're not actually going to design it. We're just going to add the floor plan. And then I'll go straight past that and add the bedroom. So we know that the dining room is 3.43 by 3.37. So I'll go ahead and add that now. So let's go ahead and click the Ad wall button, and we're going to start from this point here, and we're going to go three for free. Now we've got 344, but that's okay for now, and we're going to go 337. 57. There we go. And then I'll go back down this way. Now we can see that the door from the lounge is in slightly the wrong place, so we can just move that across a bit here. There we go. In fact, I've done that a little bit too much. There we go, that's perfect. That is the dining room, but I'm not going to be designing that room. Now I'm going to go back to right move and get the measurements for the bedroom, and that is 5.95 by 3.36. I'm not exactly sure how that's 3.36, and this is 3.37, but it doesn't really matter. Let's go back now and add the bedroom. So we're going to add wall again, start from this point here and go 595. T 59 Okay, I may as well keep it as 596 because that's where it's locking onto, and 337, I may as well keep the same as the dining room just to keep things simple and then validate. And then we're going to click onto this room and click edit, and this is a bedroom. There we go. Fantastic. Now I can click Save. Now I'm just going to go to the floor plan one more time. And that is just so I can see whereabouts the door is. So the door So we have a built in cupboard at the bottom, and then a bit more space, and then the door which opens into the bedroom. Let's go back to home by me again. And I'll just duplicate this door down here. And we're going to move that to just about here. There we go. Now we can zoom in. Now we need a bed, we need bedroom furniture, and we can decorate the walls and floors and so on. So let's go into Free D, and we can see the space that we have here. I think this is quite good. We have a good amount of space to design a nice bedroom. So what I'm going to start by doing is customizing the floor, so let's click edit. And then what I'm going to do is click on flooring. And we're going to try and find a nice flooring option. Now, I do really want to go for carpet in this bedroom. So let's just have a look at a few carpet options. It seems carpets never really look good in the project. But of course, in real life, carpets are much better. This is just a way to let you see what it will look like. Let's see. I think something like this would be good or even this one. It doesn't really matter because it doesn't look too realistic on this anyway. Let's try this one here. That's a bit too yellow. How about this one? This isn't too bad. Okay, there we have the flooring. Then what I'm going to do is change the color of this wall here. Let's click edit, and then we're going to choose a paint or a wallpaper. I might try a wallpaper for this one. Something quite simple. Let's see. All of these wall papers are quite over the top, so we want something that's not that crazy really. Something like that, I think that could be quite good. So we have a wall that matches the floor, and then all the other walls are white. That sounds good to me. Then let's go ahead and add a bed. We're going to go to beds just here and see what we can find. This one here looks quite nice. So does this one, in fact, It's add this. Which way round do we want to have it? What I'm going to do is rotate it to see if it fits the other way, because I think this could be quite nice like this and then up against the wall. Of course, you want to make sure it's centered, but for now, I'm not going to do that. Alternatively, we could have it up against this wall here. That may be what I do. But for now, I'm just going to have a look at what it looks like with the bed out from this wall, and then I'll go back to furnish bedroom, and then we can go to nightstands and have a night stand either side of the bed. I think something quite simple will be best like this one here or this one. Let's see, will that add to the side of the bed? It will, but it doesn't really suit the room. So instead, I'm going to turn the bed around. I'm going to place it just here. Then we can have a TV on the wall just here at the end of the bed and we can have a wardrobe and some other bits of furniture as well. Here we go. Then let's go furnish and find another nightstand. Let's see. I think that this one could be good. I'll place that just there. Now, I don't like the design of that one either. We need to find something that will actually suit the room. How about this one here? There we go. I think that fits better. Then I can duplicate that and put another on the other side of the bed. There we go, that's brilliant. Then we can add a TV onto the wall opposite the bed. This one here will do. And I think that can fit just there. Now, of course, I'd make sure it's centered, but for now it's not too important. I think possibly a wardrobe and then a mirror next to the wardrobe could be good. Let's go back again. Let's see. This one here looks nice. This one has a mirror built in, so that's even better. I'll put that just there. Okay, this isn't too bad. Let's see if we could add a corner desk. This one here is quite nice. And then just rotate it. Okay, that's not too bad. So we have a desk in the corner there as well for work. And then we have two nights stands, either side of the bed, a TV at the end of the wall opposite the bed, a nice wardrobe over here, which I would like to be built in, but I think that's not too bad. So there we go. Let's have a look in first person. I think this is quite good. It's not overcrowded. There's not too much in the room. Now, I could move the night stands right up to the bed. Just to make some more room. Other than that, I think everything seems okay to me. Now you would have it all centered nicely. That looks good to me. Let's go back into three D. Yeah, I think this is looking quite good. Now, we could do this the other way around and have the bed on this wall and the TV on this wall here, I think could actually be quite a lot better. But of course, it's up to personal preference. Now, the reason I say that is in a house like this, if you go on the floor plan and you have a TV on the internal wall, The noise from the TV would obviously go out and be heard by the other rooms, so that could be disturbing them. Whereas if you had it on the external wall, I think it would be a bit better, and it would even be easier to put wall brackets on an external wall as well. But those things are a bit more specific to each house. But yeah, I think this is good. So there we go. We have created our bedroom in home by me. Let's go ahead and click save. That is all for this video, and I will see you in the next one. Goodbye. 11. Visualizing Your Bedroom Design in 3D: Right, now that we have designed our bedroom in home by me. Let's bring it to life and take a photo of it. So now let's go to the camera icon and click realistic image. And let's take our image. Now, I think I should stand in this corner. Actually, it's tricky to know what corner to stand in for this picture because we have things in all of the corners. Let's see what, see if I stand in this corner. That's not too bad. We can see the desk, the TV, the bed, and so on, but we can't see the wardrobe, which is what I'm standing next to. Now you may want to take two pictures of a room when you can't see everything from one corner. You might want to go to another corner, for example, if I go over here. Into this corner and take the picture from here. I feel like that shows more of what's in the room, but it's more of a messy picture in my mind. So yeah, I will take the picture from this corner, but it just means we won't see the wardrobe. So then we're going then select your angle and click the button to take your photo. Then you want to choose standard definition, high definition or four K. I'm going to choose standard definition in this option, and then I'll click the Create a realistic image button. Fantastic. Let's click. Let's make sure that our project has been saved. And then we can close out of it and go back into the images. And in just a few minutes, our image will appear in this folder here. Now, this is a standard definition image, so it will be generated much quicker than the HD image we took for the lounge or living room. And just like the kitchen, it's not as good quality image, but you can still see what's there, and of course, it's completely free. So in my mind, it's fantastic. So I'm going to refresh this page right now. Then I'll go back into the images. And there we go. We can see everything in the image, but because I selected standard definition, it doesn't look as good as it could do, like the lounge, but you can see that everything is there. Now, if you are going to be going ahead with renovating your house, it's probably worth paying to create high definition images rather than just using the free ones. But you can see this is a great example of how you can design a bedroom using home by me. So there we go that is all for this video. Thanks again, and I'll see you in the next one. Goodbye. 12. Using HomeByMe for Bathroom and Additional Spaces: Welcome back. In this video, I'm going to show you how to use home by me to design bathrooms and additional spaces. So let's go ahead and open our project again. And you can see that we are missing a few things if I go back to two D. Now, we have the kitchen, the lounge, the dining room, which I just left empty, and then the bedroom. Then what we're going to do is add the hallway, and I'm going to design the bathroom. So I'm going to go back to right move and cat to the floor plan, and we can see here that we have the hallway that goes all the way up. But I'm just going to do it to the bedroom door. I'm not going to do bedroom two or bedroom three. I'm not going to do the toilet. I'm just going to design the bathroom just here. So I'll go ahead and add the hall, and then I will add the bathroom as well. So first of all, I'm just going to add the hall, so I'll do that right now. So I'll click Add Wall, and I'll start down here, and I'll bring it all the way up to let's say just here, and then bring it across. And I'll click Validate, and I'm actually going to edit this, and I'm going to set the type as a hallway. There we go. Now we can click Save. Now what we're going to have to do is add the bathroom. And we know that it backs up to the kitchen. It is 2.62 by 1.95, I think that says. So I will add that right now. So let's add a wall and start from just here. I believe it will be 1.95 this way. And 262 this way. Well, it's got 271, so it's not quite added up properly, but that doesn't really matter. And then we can click validate, and there is actually a wid layout with the way this works. So we have the door, which I'll duplicate to add just here. However, we're also going to have to add a wall and just make the wall a bit bigger. There we go. And then just remove this wall here. Okay. So now we can click save again. It's just if I go back to the floor plan, we can see the hall goes out this way because there's room for another toilet, but I'm not going to bother with that. What I'm going to do is design this bathroom here, and rather than the door being in the main hall. It's in where you go to the toilet, there's another door for the bathroom. So it sounds a bit complicated, but you can see exactly how it is in the floor plan here. So let's go ahead and start designing the bathroom. Now I do know that the door opens inwards into the bathroom, so we can edit that now. There we go. And then we are going to edit the room and set it as a bathroom. Fantastic. Now we can go into free D. And if I just enter the bathroom, there we go, that's not work too well. Step inside here. I'll go to this end corner. And now we should be able to see the room that we are working with a bit better. Now we need to fit a few different things in here, so it's going to be slightly tricky. But I think I'll add a sink onto this wall here. And then Well, it depends what we have room for, but I think I will add a walk in shower or a bath with a shower. But first, I will change the flooring to be tiled. I'll go to wall and floor tiles, and I'll just select this one here, and then I'm going to do the exact same with all of the walls. I believe it was this one. I might be wrong. I will double check that. Oh no, it was this one down here. We want to make sure it's the same. And then I will do the other walls the same as well. This one here. Personally, I just like bathrooms that are designed this way, and it keeps it nice and simple as well. There we go. And then we just have the wall with the door. There we go fantastic. Let's click save. And I have to just realized that we do actually have a door with windows for the bedroom and also the bathroom. So we want to make sure that we change that, but for now, I'm just going to leave it. And we're going to go into the furnish section, and we're going to go to bathrooms and click on two sinks and see what we can find here. I think this one here looks quite nice. Is there space for it? I think this should be okay. There we go. We might have that up against the wall or we could just center it just here. I think that looks quite nice. And then we could have a toilet opposite the sink. Let's see, Let's go back to bathroom and go to toilets. And let's see what we have here. We just need something quite simple. This one here will work. I'll put that opposite the sink. Now, I'm not sure how high it's meant to be. I think that may be a bit too high. Let's have a look in first person. So we have the t toilet, the sink. And then all we need to do is add a bath or a shower. I think what I'm just going to do is add a nice shower into this corner here. Let's go back into free D, and I'll go back to furnish. And now we can go back to bathroom, and I'll click onto shower. Bath dubs and showers. Here we go. Let's see what we can find. I think this one here is quite nice, and so is this one. Now, I'm not sure how big these are. We need to make sure that they will actually fit in this bathroom. L et's see. I don't think a bath will fit, so we can ignore baths for now unless I put the toilet somewhere else, but I think that's okay for now. Okay. I'll just add this shower here. I think that seems okay. Oh, I can't place it yet because the person is in the way. So let's find that one again. I think it was this one here. There we go. Now, that's right in front of the door. So what I will do is rotate this. Am I not able to? Here we go. There we are. That's better. Although I think we have a slight issue, so I'm going to add a different one instead. How about this one here? There we go. That works. Now, this shower doesn't have any glass walls. So it's an interesting one. But I think you'll be fine. This is just an example after all. But I do want to change the because we don't really want a window door. So let's just add this one here. There we go. Now the color is different, but that doesn't really matter. We could always click onto it, click edit, and then change the interior and exterior face of the door and the frame as well. We'd have to change all of these things. F now, I'm just going to leave it. But you can see what I'm trying to do. There we go. I'll do the same with the bedroom door as well, in fact. I will replace it with the same do. Just so that they have no windows on doors you want to be private. So there we go, that is fantastic. And I think this is quite a nice bathroom as well. We have a toilet, a shower, and a nice sink. We could even add a cupboard, but I think this is quite good really. We have a cupboard under the sink anyway. So in my mind, this is absolutely fantastic. So there we go, we have successfully designed a bathroom using home by me. That is all for this video. I will see you in the next one. And don't forget to click save. Goodbye. 13. Crafting Realistic 3D Models for Various Rooms: Welcome back, we are now going to take a picture of our bathroom. Let's click the photo button, click realistic image, and then we're going to want to find the right angle to take the picture from. Now, I think the door is probably the best place just here, and then looking into the room. Now, we can't see everything from this angle, which is quite annoying. How about from this corner here. Once again, we can't quite see everything. Let's see what I can do here. There we go. That's better. Now, because the room is quite small, we can't see everything in the image, but then once you're ready, and you are happy with what you see in the frame, simply click the white circle to take your image, select the type of image you want to take, and then click the Create a realistic image button, and there you go. I'll be done. Then I'm just going to save my project. And you can see that we're getting quite far with what we have builds. Now, why I'm going to do is take another image. And with this image, I'm going to show you how to take a top view of your project in home by me. So let's click on to the top views button, and this say whether we have 13 top view. So don't show me this warning again, get started. And then we're going to want to get a nice angle of this. Now, this is down to you and what you want your picture to be like. But I think I might move it to start from the bedroom. Now, this is actually quite tricky finding how to take a top view picture that looks good. Because if I want to take it off just the bedroom, it's okay. But if I want every single room involved, would it be worth going to the front door? In fact, would it be worth just standing in the center of the house? A in the hole just here, and then put it at a slight angle? This isn't too bad. We're cutting off parts of the room here. Now, of course, I've left out the other toilets and the other bedrooms. I didn't bother building them and designing them because I only need to show you a few examples, and then you'll know how to design your own. But I think this sort of angle looks good. So then simply click the button once you are ready. I think this could be okay. It really depends on the angle you want to take. I move to here, and then angle it this way. That shows pretty much everything, and then simply click this button here, and then select top view, create a new top view, and there we go. Now I'll click Save. I'll close the project, and all of the images you've taken will be in your image folder for your project. Now, of course, the two that I've just taken are now loading, but you'll be able to find them in the folder with all of your other images. So there we go, that is all for this video. I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you learned something new. I will see you in the next one. Once again, thanks and goodbye. 14. Class Recap: Congratulations, you have completed the entire class.
