1. What you'll learn: Hi, my name is Sylvia and I'm a freelance marketer and
content creator from Portugal. I've been editing videos
for what feels like my entire life and I've been freelancing now for
the past ten years. So today I thought, let's match those two and let's share with you
all how you can take your passion for video
and content creation and offer it to clients
as a freelancer. We're going to go
through, first of all, the theory of freelancing
services and packages. We're going to go through three different service
ideas that you can offer using one of my favorite
tools, Wonders, Fuma. And we'll also go
through the power of add ons to your
freelance business. We're going to go through four different add ons that you can consider adding to your
freelancing packages. And lastly, a little
AI disclaimer Because I don't want you to regret
the things that you're doing. I want you to be prepared so everything goes as
smoothly as possible. By the end of this video class, you should be able
to start offering video services to your clients as a freelancer and start monetizing your
skills effectively. Now, with that, do, let's move on to our
first lesson. Let's go.
2. Freelancer services & packages: Start. I want to give you
a little bit of theory. Now I know this is usually the boring for so I'll try to
make it quick and painless. But essentially,
let's think about it. The freelancer's job is
to offer a service to the client that adds value and that they will
pay you for now. The value that your service offers can either be
saving them time, saving them money, or
just simply offering them a tool or a service that
they can do for themselves. In the case of video
editing specifically, this is super relevant
because my experience, a lot of clients
just don't want to bother learning how
to edit a video. Actually editing the video, we know it can take some time. Usually you'll be working
with business owners if they have any commerce
store or boutique, or maybe they're a
fellow service provider that offers a service
other than video editing. So obviously they
want to focus most of their time on their
actual business, The things that only they can do and give the rest
to someone else, someone like you, that
can edit videos for them. On that note, you may want to hone in on a specific client
that you would like to help. Now, if you've worked
with clients in the past, you may have an idea of the type of client you'd
like to work with. So I would encourage you to write down the things
you liked about the clients you worked
with and try to figure out a common thread
between all of them. If you haven't worked
with any clients before, if you have no idea who
you want to work with, you can still bring
certain things that you would like your ideal
client to have or maybe industries that you'd like
to work with that you either have some experience
in or a special interest in. Even this will help you when
it's time to come up with your packages so you can tailor them to your ideal
client's needs. Now the reason you want to
have packages in place, AKA sort of like a
menu of your services, basically to make it easier for clients to see what you do
and how much you charge, for example, on your website. And it will also make it easier for you if a client
reaches out to you, they haven't seen
your packages before. It's easier for you to either
send them the packages or give them a custom quote
based on those packages. From my experience, every client is a little
bit different. So you sometimes will
find that you may need to customize your packages to
fit the client's needs. That being said, it's
always easier to start with the base package than it
is to start from scratch. I put together a quick list of potential services that you
can offer as well as add ons, which we'll talk about later. You can choose to
offer all of these or just totally up to you. These are simply IGeas based on my personal experience doing video editing
services for clients. So again, feel free to take any of these
services and treat them to future your interests
and your clients needs. Now, having said, let's move
on to service number one.
3. Service 1 - video trailers: Let's start off with
service idea number one, which is to offer an entry level service,
that is trailers. These can be trailers for podcast that your
client is launching. They may be launching a course or a new product or service. Or it can be as simple as
them needing a trailer for their Youtube channel
to show off to new visitors that will
hopefully become subscribers. Now what makes this an
entry level service is that it's template based, so you'll be able to offer it at a cheaper rate because it
will take you less time. Which means that clients who
are new to working with you, they've never worked
with you before, they may be able to just test
the waters a little bit. You just see how they like working with you
and bonus points. You can also see how you
like working with them. And since it takes
you less time, this means you can also
work with more clients and essentially make more money which we're all wanting
in freelancing. Right. I'm going to open
up wonder share from I can walk you through the step by
step of how to do it. You can see right
here, right away, you have different
ways to do videos. You can also start just a
new project from scratch. But I'm going to be using, for the purpose of this
video, the instant mode. I'm going to click
on it right away. It shows me a bunch of different templates
to choose from. You can just hover over them and see the different
templates that they have. But I actually
cheated a little bit. I already know the one
I want to use today. But just to show you, you have different categories. Education, family. You have travel if your client
is in a travel business, but the one I'm going to use
today is here in the style, cute style and it's this
game screen time one. It's like gaming theme, which is my vibe. If you can tell, you can click here and
purview the whole thing. I'm going to lower the volume so you can
actually hear me, but you can watch the whole
thing and see if you like it. You can see the different titles that you have and
everything like that. I like it. I'm going to say
just use this template now. It will prompt you to import any media that
you want to use. This can be media that your
client has sent to you or it can be stock images
that you found online. I got mine from Canva. Let me select these that
I want to use right away. I'm actually now noticing
that there's two of the same. You can actually rearrange
them. That's good for this. I don't have two back to back, so it's not that obvious. But you can rearrange the
order that you want them to come in and then it
will create your video. Here we are. Now I'm actually going to
play through the whole thing just to check how I
want to customize it. Because you can obviously
customize it to fit your client's
needs, which is great. So let's watch it together. This is totally my value. I don't know if you get for me, okay? I don't know if you could hear me
there in the middle, but I just said this
is totally in my vibe. So what I'm going to do now, I'm going to go
into timeline mode. I'm going to click right here. And I'll click yes. Yeah, now you're into
a timeline mode, just like any other
video editor. But you kind got the whole
thing done for you already. Right away I can see
different elements, different texts and
stuff like that. So here we have
game screen time, which I want to change for. Let's say this client is
a retro gaming channel, that's kind of my vibe. And this is giving
me that five as well because it's all the
pixel art and stuff like that. It's right up my alley. So let's say their
channel is like for old time sake. I don't know, for old
time sake. I like that. You can also customize it. I'm going to center
this just in case. Let's see what we can use here. I want something that goes with the background a
little bit better. Give me a second, and I'll
choose something that works. Okay. I'm going to go with
this white one for now. But here we may want
to play around with something a bit more fun. Let's see. Oh, I
like this black one. Hold on, can I use this one for? Oh, yeah, that's more my vibe. Not sure if the colors
clash too much with this, but digging it, let me know in the comments below if
this is ugly or cute. I guess the next text spot that we have here
is enjoy your time. But I'm going to change
it to back to your roots. All right? I like that
once again I'm going to be changing the text to, I really love this pink
on back then roots. I'm going to go with this, although I do feel
like it crashes. Oh, what if I did this? I changed the middle one to orange because I really
like pink and orange. Then we have another
piece of text here it says, for the gamers, I know already what I
wanted to say instead, which will be for the '90s kids. All right, for this one, I really like that one. I really like that one too, but I'm going to use
this one because I like the reflection
in the bottom. But I think this one's more
readable with the background. Then let's move on to this one. This one says you lose. I think it looks good
and it makes sense. I'm not going to change it
because it's like a game over. Although we can do
game over, try again. I like that better try again because it's a
bit more positive. I want this to be a
fun gaming channel. All right, here you can have once again the
name of the channel. But what I'm going
to do actually, is I'm going to say
subscribe for good times. Okay? And this one
I'm going to say, I really like this
one here because of the black background subscribe. Let me make this a
little bit larger, you can actually read the
whole thing subscribe. And for the subscriber
I like that one, I'm going to keep
that for good times. I'm going to make
this larger as well, so it fits with the
width of the others. Let me actually center this. Okay, I'm changing the letter spacing to make it take up
a little bit more space. I think this looks good. So I'm going to click Okay. All right, I'm already
pretty happy with this. Let's just export this and
move on to the next lesson.
4. Service 2 - AI videos: All right, so service
idea number two is, let's say your clients
are just camera shy. But they know they
should be doing video. They know video is
the next big thing, But they just can't get
around to record video. Sit down in front of a camera and record
a video like this. By the way, I was looking at the round camera there.
Sorry about that. But let's say like this, which I've had a lot
of clients like that in the past or also
let me just not have the time to
sit down and record a video or maybe they're
just not tech savvy. This is something you can
offer to that type of client to kind of
ease them into video. And eventually maybe they
will feel more comfortable. Or you can show them
editorial on how to set up their systems and set up
everything like that. So this service idea, I notice I just haven't
told you what it is. It's AI based video creation and I know you're probably sick and tired of
hearing about AI. You probably have your
own opinions about it. But in my opinion, this is
something that's super cool. Basically, what you
can offer to do for them here is you can create videos for them from scratch using the power of AI. I think that's super cool. Basically, in this
type of video, they can simply just give you the script or some
bullet points. Or maybe they can
even give you like a blog post that they wrote and you can turn
that into a video, which is super cool. And that way you
have the same type of content available
in different formats. Because I know some people
rather read the blog post, but I personally
rather watch a video. And that's also why I mostly do my content
in video formats. Let's go ahead, go back
into under share Fuma. Let's go for AI text video. This one right here,
you can type your text. So if your client
gave you a script, you can type it right here. But what I want to do
is generate by AI. Because I'm lazy, I don't want to create a video script today. You can choose whether
it's informative, opinion piece, product
coverage or other. I'll do other just because I'm thinking of keeping
within the gaming style, not something so polished
and professional text topic. Let's see, let's see how
I first got into gaming. That could be fun.
I want to see what I comes up with in that sense. Talk about how ever since I can remember I've been
playing video games. This is also where if the client give
you the bullet point, you can enter those here. Let's see what it comes up with. Let's give it some
time to think. All right, we got something. Ever since I can remember, gaming has been a
part of my life. I would say a big part. Can I change it, actually? Oh, I can. A big
part of my life. My very first second Genesis. Oh my God. It knows its
stuff. I'm in love. How does it know me
like I feel like this is my life story and I didn't give it that
much information. You know, I'm not a writer, that's why I really like
that AI generated stuff. It's not a substitute
for people, but it really helps
with writer's block, which I help all the time. So here you can go up
to 2000 characters, and then you can select
from different AI voices. So let's him out, Wonder, share
creativity simplified. Okay, wonder share
creativity simplified. Wonder, share
creativity simplified. Wonder share
creativity simplified. Okay, wonder share subtle
creativity simplified. Okay, I think I prefer area
so to the default one. All right, we got a
little text here. We have our voice picked out. Now let's click text to video and see what
it comes up with. All right, so we
got our video here. Now let's click play to
see how it turned out. Ever since I can remember, gaming has been a
big part of my life. From my very first Sega
Genesis console, I was hooked. The vibrant worlds,
challenging levels, and a Mercy's storytelling
captivated my young mind. I have always been
drawn to retro and pixel art style games reminiscent of the classics
like Sonic Two from 1992. As I grew older, my passion
for gaming evolved. I began exploring
different genres, from RPGs to platformers, absorbing knowledge about game design and
storytelling techniques. Gaming became more than
just entertainment. It became a source of
inspiration and creativity. My journey into
gaming has shaped my love for pixel
art and nostalgia, fueling my desire to experience new adventures and be part of the ever evolving
world of gaming. That's why I created this channel to hope
Pella fully find fellow retro game lovers and build a community
where we can go back in time every
once in a while. Okay, I don't know if
you notice but there was a typo and that's
probably my bad. I don't think I would make it typo that bad. So that's on me. But yeah, I really liked it. I don't really like when it just finds photos
instead of videos. I feel like it slows down
the mood of the video. So what I'm going to do is
I'm going to real quick, you know you a
little reformulating of this video to make it
more me and more my vibe. And I'll come right
back to you and I'll let you know
how long it took. See you in a second. Alright,
So it took me 10 minutes. I probably could have
taken me less time. But let's see what I
came out with in I guess partnership with
this, I spell alert. I haven't looked at it yet, so let's watch it together. Ever since I can remember, gaming has been a big part. This is a little bit out, let me lower it a little bit. Oops, not that much. Ever since I can remember, gaming has been a
big part of my life. From my very first Sega
Genesis console, I was hooked. The vibrant worlds,
challenging levels and immersive storytelling
captivated my young mind. I have always been
drawn to retro and pixel art style games reminiscent of the classics
like Sonic Two from 1992. As I grew older, my passion
for gaming evolved. I began exploring
different genres, from RPGs to platformers, absorbing knowledge about game design and
storytelling techniques. Gaming became more than
just entertainment. It became a source of
inspiration and creativity. My journey into
gaming has shaped my love for pixel
art and nostalgia, fueling my desire to experience new adventures and be part of the ever evolving
world of gaming. That's why I created this
channel to hope peliflly find fellow retro game lovers and build a community
where we can go back in time every
once in a while. Okay, so I acknowledge
it's not perfect. I would probably want to spend an extra 30 minutes to an hour
to really make it my own, but you get to gist of it, it gave me a base. So a couple of things I
would probably do after this would be like to cut down
these kind of dead spaces. Because I feel like it says a sentence then waits
for like a second or so. And yeah, nowadays you want
things to be more fast paced, but you know, again,
you get the gist. It's definitely a solid
foundation to work from. And given more time, I would love to
explore this even more and create
something super cool. But for the sake of this video, I don't want to keep
you for too long. I just want to show you how
it works and how you can use it and let your own
creativity run wild. And once again, and let me know. Show me in the
project down below. Share your projects with me. Share your final results,
your final videos, images, whatever it is
that you end up creating. Because I really, really
want to see them. And yeah, I'm sure
your fellow students will likely want to
see them as well. I know I would if I
was taking this class, so Yeah. See. You
want a next one?
5. Service 3 - video editing: All right, so service idea
number three is probably the most normal one and that
is good old video editing, but utilizing Phil
Morris, you know, amazing tools that make this
quicker and easier for you. Let's say your client
is a Youtuber, a video podcaster, or just
an influencer of any kind. Or they create courses maybe, and they just want to become a thought leader in the industry and spread their message
using the power of video. Which if you don't know,
is super powerful. It gains a lot more trust
than just written content. But obviously they
probably know. You probably know that video
can take up a long time. And that's why they usually delegate it to
freelancers like us. And especially if they're
already recording the video, then having to edit
it, it adds up, especially if they're a busy
business owner and they have other things on their plate that are not necessarily
more important, but that only they can do. But that's where
you come in and you offer your services to this client because
video editing is probably all you do or
probably your main fashion. You can basically
take the raw footage, so the footage, no edits, no cuts, all the mistakes left in and turn it into
a masterpiece. And once again,
while this may take you less time the
more you do it, as happens with
every other service, it's still probably the
most time consuming service out of the three that
we mentioned so far. So I'm going to show
you some ways that you can severely decrease the amount of time it takes you. So once again, you can
pump out more content in less time and make more
money using power BI. And of course, it's not enough for me to
tell you about this. I'm actually going to show you, let me actually take
a raw video of mine. Let me find out real quick
and I'll come back to you. All right, so what I
actually went ahead and did was I exported the
beginning part of this video and I'm now going
to upload it here to wonder sure four and use it to edit
it as quickly as possible. The feature I'm actually
going to use once again, you can scroll through them. Right here at the top is the one called AI text
based editing, so I'm going to click on
that and I'm going to select the service
or not the service, the video I want to use. Then you can select
the language. It has plenty of languages, so I'm going to select English, US, and then click on Okay. And basically now wait for
it to transcribe your video, which is super cool and super helpful as you'll see
in just a second. Okay, we got it. As you can see here, these parts right here are the parts where
there's no speech. I can go right away at what I
just did in case you didn't notice is I selected this
and I poop, deleted it. So those dead spaces where you're just
thinking about what you're going to
say next or you're just catching a
breather or something. You can just delete
those right away. That's what I'm
going to do first, is I'm going to clean
up the dead space. Because we all know people nowadays don't have that
big of an attention span. Let's blame Tiktok as usual. So now that we have
those initial cuts done, let's just export
this to timeline. All right, so now that we're on the timeline, so once again, just like any other
video editor, we can see the timeline
for the video, for the audio, and
for the captions. And what I'm going to do
next is fix the captions because AI doesn't always get
exactly what we're saying. And I'm not a native
English speaker, so I'll give them that. Basically, you first cut off any glaring mistakes or
redo or gaps in the text. Then you can just tweak
a little things here and there in the captions. You can obviously also
add stock media as ball, this typical 2000 years later. You can add an
audio, so let's see. You can add maybe a
background track. So this video is 2
minutes something, so maybe something like this. Okay, I don't think this is
the best audio for this one, but for the sake of time, I'm not going to bore you
and find other audios. You can also generate
your own AI music, which is pretty cool. You can add in different titles
and you can browse here, I really like this one. And you can add, you know, a subscriber animation do maybe at the end of
the video and yeah, you could just
browse and have fun. You can add different
transitions. You also have stickers. So, you know, once again
subscribe a Moji funny cat. This one's hilarious. And you obviously also have the templates as
we've seen before. But that's it for
the video editing. Honestly, you can just get creative with this
and, you know, use as little or as
much time as you'd like and as you have allotted
for this project. But that should give you
a little introduction of what you can do. Now go ahead and I hope you
make the most out of it. I really would love
to see your creation. So down below have
the project section. I'm going to remind you
about this at the end, but I would love it if you could share your
projects with me, whether it is trailers
using the templates, whether it is something
you created with AI, the text generator, or whether it's a full video, anything. I love seeing other people's
creativity and it also helps you sharing
different ideas with one another so we can bounce
ideas off each other. I really enjoy that. Make sure you share
it down below. I would love to see it.
6. The power of add-ons: All right, so next
up we're going to be talking about the
power of add on. So if you're not aware, an add on is essentially
a bonus that people can add kind of a la carte
to your initial project. So let's say you're
doing a video editing, the full video
editing that we just talked in a previous lesson. You can add on usually
little services in order to just upsell your client and give
them more value, but also make more
money out of them. I'll use the analogy of an
ice cream Sunday, okay? Because I'm probably hungry. If you go to a
like self service, you know, frozen
yogurt type of thing, you can pay for
the base and just eat the plain ice cream
or frozen yogurt, or you can add on different
toppings, you know, Gabby Wars and Oreo chunks. Now, I'm craving Oreo
chunks, but obviously, you pay for the base,
and then you pay separately for the
toppings in most cases. And once again, this
will cost you more, but it will also make for a more tasty ice cream
in my opinion, Judge. So the same applies
to video editing, once you're done editing the initial video or creating
the video from scratch, in the case of I text to video, you can offer the
client a range of other complimentary
services that they will be happy to pay for. Because essentially they will
make their lives easier, save them more time, or
give them a better and, and especially if they already worked for
you or maybe you've done the video initially and now they want to add
on things at the end. That's also possible.
They don't have to add it on at the start. Just make sure that you
let them know, hey, this will cost you X more so you don't get
into scope creep, which we don't like her. And basically, this
is, in my opinion, the easiest way to increase your earnings
because essentially, it's easier to sell to someone who you've
already sold to, which has already been convinced that you're the
one to solve their problems, than it is to do another full video editing
project for another client. Now obviously you want to
have more than one client, in most cases, you can probably, in some cases, do just one. But yeah, the gist of it
is that it's easier to get someone who already trust you to buy more from
you than it is to, you know, gain the confidence
of a whole new person. So you want to know which
add ons you can offer, and I'm going to tell you
that in the next few lessons. So, Satan.
7. Add-on 1 - thumbnails: All right, so the first add
on is thumbnail creation. This will be especially
relevant, of course, if your client is uploading
the video to Youtube. But in some cases, if
it's like a course, they may need a course
cover which can be kind of the same thing
in the case of Youtube. We all know that thumbnails are key to get someone to
click on your video, which is step one, If they don't click
on your video, If you don't grab
their attention with the thumbnail
and the title, of course, but we'll
talk about that later. But if you don't grab
their attention, the video can be great, and if no one sees
it, it will flop. I really don't like those words, but it will flop. And obviously, in
the analytics side, it will increase your
click through rate, which Youtube also likes, which means it will put
your video in front of more people and it will
all snowball from there. And obviously for
this, I highly, highly recommend you spend some time exploring
different thumbnails. You know, doing your
research on Youtube and seeing which thumbnails
are kind of trending, which thumbnails, the type of popular videos that are
trending right now, are using and taking bits and pieces of
inspiration from them. Of course not copying,
we hate copying, but you can usually spot some patterns of stuff
that's doing well. The typical one
is everyone looks at Mr. Beasts thumbnails, but you can once again, try to replicate
or get inspired by things that you see are
doing well across the board. And while there are a lot of thumbnail creators out
there that you can use, you can simplify the process by doing it all in one platform. And yes, under sure, Fillmore allows you to
create thumbnails as well. So let me actually show you. Let's actually click on this
trailer that we created. The first thing, I didn't
even give it a title. That's how lazy I was. Okay, so if we click Export, right here at the
top, you can see here you don't have a thumbnail. Of course we haven't
created one, but you can click on
it to set a thumbnail. So once again, let's go back. You just click here
or you click Edit, and it will pop up the
thumbnail creator thing here, kind of like Youtube. It will recommend you or show you different freeze
frames from the video. So in this case it show me
this one which I really like. But let's scroll to see if
we find one that's better. And this will be essentially the background of
your thumbnails. I'm in between this
one and the other one, but if we're thinking about
this for a background, I think this one's less busy. So I'm going to click on it now. We can build up our thumbnail. We can add text. I forgot the name
of the channel. Let's just say start here, because you want
your new subscribers to start here to learn
about what you do. We can align it
with center and we can move this to be centered. I probably want to
make it either a different font or
something more. Bold use is a good one. Want to make it beggar? I made it 100 in size. Add an outline. You can pick the color. So let's try a pinkish purple to match with the video vibes. You want to think, as always with the thumbnails
that these will be seen in a little format so you don't want to
clutter them too much. Yeah, you know, super
basic thumbmail. It doesn't really make sense, but you get the gist of
what you can do with it. Now, once again, get creative. If you don't want to
share a full video below in the projects, you can share a
thumbnail, for example. That's a little bit more simple. But yeah, once again, I look forward to seeing what
you come up with. Now let's move on to
add on idea number two.
8. Add-on 2 - video optimization: Now along with your thumbnail, it's always helpful to
have a catchy title to help even more people make the decision of
clicking on your video. So your title and your thumbnail should always go hand in hand. And you may also want to
have a good description, which in my opinion is probably the hardest thing to do because I'm definitely
not a writer. But that's okay because
good, we once again, you can do that inside Phil
Mora with, you guessed it. The power of. All right, let me
show you how it's done and once again we
have our guinea pig here, the gaming channel trailers. What you're going to do
is you're going to go to export and upload to Youtube. And now as you can see, we
have our thumbnail that we created and now we can
put our own title, which start here,
Sounds good to me. And then we can
write a description. So obviously I just fill
it up with nonsense. But let's delete it and
let's actually have a, I write a description about it. It's a trailer for a Youtube channel all
about retro gaming. And stay, that should be enough. Let's see what it comes up with. Step into the eight era. Oh my God, I love this. So I'll definitely
use this as a title. All right, now let's go back and write a description actually. So let's keep the same prompt and let's see what it generates. So, so much. I love this. Let's face this right here, this is absolutely amazing. So that's how you can use I
to go even further and write your client's video titles descriptions,
anything like that. So yeah, make the
best use out of it. And I'll see you in
the next lesson.
9. Add-on 3 - posting: All right. Now if you
want to see your client even more time so they don't have to worry
with the video, with the title, with
the thumbnails. Now what if you went ahead
and you posted it for them? So they literally,
all they have to do is record the raw video, say everything they want
in front of the camera, and then someone else
gets it out for them. Trust me, this is a huge value for the
client because again, they likely have a very
busy lifestyle and they don't have time to
worry about all that. Because it may seem
like little things, you know, title
thumb nail posting. But it adds up and it's
another task on their to do list which it's probably
quite full already. So they don't want to have
the added stress of worrying about those minute things that someone else
can take care of, that someone else being you. So in this case, I'm
going to show you how you can post your video, or your client's video in this
case to Youtube directly. And you guessed it, you
can do this inside film. So what's a tiny little
extra stuff for you? It's one that will definitely offer the
client a huge value, like I just said,
in terms of time and mental space and
mental energy saved. Which is really important in order for them
not to hit burn out. Which means once again, you can charge
good money for it. Because you're not necessarily
charging for your time, you're charging for the value
that you offer the client. And as we've seen, all
these things add up, and by the way, like I kind
of hinted at the beginning, you can totally combine this with different
add ons and make a, you know, VIP bundle or
something like that, or a fully hands on bundle
where you do the video and then the thumbnail and then
the title description, the posting, everything. You do, everything for them. How great does that sound? So let me show you how simple this is after you've
vetted to the video. So let's go back to Phil Mora and we want to go
back to our little video. So let's open it up
and let's make it big. And now let's click Export, as we've done before. And then you want to go to
the tab that says Youtube. You can also do this for Tiktok, Vimeo, and DVD, apparently, which I personally don't know anyone who
uses this anymore. But if you need to, it's there. But let's log into Youtube. So of course, you need to have either the log in to
their Youtube channel or you need to have them add you as an admin or
moderator of the channel. So let me log into
mine real quick. And now it's telling me to
go back to wander share. So let me actually, just for
the sake of this upload, a thumbnail I have already, so you can come here from local. So if the client
just wants you to post and they have maybe a thumbnail designer
on their team, you can just upload here the thumbnail
that they given you. So let's go back to the one used before as an example,
and here it is. Here once again,
you can just face the description that the client gave you or the AI
copywriter gave you. Or you can directly
from here go to the AI copywriter and ask it to
write a description for you. And then you can
select the category. This would be gaming tags. You can have the
Wonder Sir Fuma, or you can just delete
it and say gaming. I don't think tags are that
important anymore anyway. And then you can say,
if you want it to be public, unlisted, or private. And then you just hit Upload. So let me put it into
private so I can do export. And just sit and wait until
your masterpiece is done. Oh, and by the way,
this is a fun thing. They can let you
know when it's done. Maybe if it's a big, big video, you can ask it to shut
down on your computer. So you can do this overnight. You can ask it to do nothing. But in this case,
I want it to sound I am aware when it ends
uploaded successfully. Let's check Youtube. All right, we have the
start here which has saved. Um, no, as my last video. But as you can see here, we have the description
that we added, the title that we added, and we have the little tags. And you can come
here or the client can come here and say, let's schedule this
for tomorrow at 12:00 P.M. and you can just
hit schedule and boom it's.
10. Add-on 4 - repurposing: All right, so less than, at least you have
add on number four, which arguably can be the most valuable
one to the client. Because it not only
seeks them time, but it will very
likely give them the top distribution that
their content deserves. And of course, we're talking
about short term content, short term vertical content. So content and go
on Youtube shorts, Tiktok reels, you name it. And what you can do here is after you've edited
the main video, you can take key points of that video and turn those
into short term videos. This something I do for every single one of my Youtube videos, and I know I'm sounding
like a broken record. I'm so sorry about that. But honestly, that's why I
also like this app so much. It's because you guessed it. It can help you cut down
of videos into shorts, which means you don't have
to waste time exporting and uploading into a different
app or a different tool. But you also don't have to have a subscription to every
single app out there, because we know that
can add up real quick. Now with that purview, let me show you how
you can actually do this with film mora. And here you will
want to scroll until you fine this one auto reframe, so you want to click on that. And now I want to
import a video. So here you can select, first of all, the aspect ratio, so if you're doing
short stick tox, whatever it will
likely be portrait. So you can select to just frame, but actually it's quite good
at tracking your own face. All right, so now what
I'm going to do is I'll export this and I'm
going to put it into my download
folder so I can easily find it later because we'll want to cut down
the video obviously. All right, so we just export it. And you can see
what I did there. I just click upload to fill mora so we can start
a new project. And now we're going
to want to make that. So let's do a very, very, very short short. Okay, just for me to
be able to show you. So you want to clip
in the beginning, delete the rest, and now we
want to clip in at the end. Okay, so I'm just
going to do this like it's what, 6 seconds? Okay, that's good enough
for the sake of this video. But yeah, that's basically
how you create your shorts. Now if you want to add
captions on top of it, if people are watching
with no sound on, they can still understand you. Or for just general
accessibility purposes, you can write, click, and go to speech to text, and just generate your captions.
And there you have it. That's how easily create shorts from the long form
video that you created. Let's say your client does one
full Youtube video a week. You can create shorts to fill
the other days of the week. So they can essentially have
one video every single day, and it didn't take
them any more time, they just recorded that once and you took care of the rest.
11. Al disclaimer: All right, so real
quickly before we go, I wanted to give you a
quick AI disclaimer. Now you've probably heard a
bunch of things about AI, the good, the bad, and the ugly. But wherever it is that you
personally stand with AI, I personally am
on board with it. I love it for certain
things and for me, the best use of it is to
aid in content creation. I don't think it's a
total person replacement, so don't worry about
your freelance business. You'll be fine. It won't replace anytime soon or at
least I don't think so. That being said, again, wherever it is that you stand with it, I think we can all
agree that it's important to disclose
when AI is being used. And nowadays, even platforms
like Youtube are starting to want you to disclose whether something is AI
generated or not. So especially if
you're generating the entire video from a
script to an AI voice, I think that would
be important to disclose to Youtube
and your client, of course, just so you don't get into any trouble
with anyone. And again, even if you're
creating that video from scratch using AI and giving it to the client for
them to post on their behalf, if they don't want you
to post it for them, if they don't want to give you access or anything like that, you should let them know that
they need to disclose it. Or at least advise
them to disclose it, just so you don't get them into any trouble
and then they go back and try to blame you for anything we don't want that. Also, of course, I encourage
you to both proof read anything that AI writes
before you posted proof. Watch the whole video
because I isn't perfect and you know
better safe than sorry. You don't want the
client to find out that you made a
mistake or A I made a mistake and you didn't catch it after the video
has been life for like a couple days and has commented and all that
good stuff, Judge. And also make sure you fact checked anything that
needs to be fact checked. If AI, if you're
telling it to give you five tips in investing
or something like that, you want to fact check
that information for sure. Like you don't want to put
out false claims, Judge, and essentially you just want
to do your due diligence as a freelance video creator because that's why you
were hired to do this job. Because if the client
just wanted to pop it into I and get it done, they could do that themselves. But you are the expert too. You have to judge AI on whether or not it's
worth putting out there. But yeah, I to your advantage, don't fully rely on it and don't be afraid of it
and yeah, have fun. That's the gist of it. And you want to do
things that you love and that you're good at and that
you can have fun doing it. Because if we were
meant to be bored, we would just get a regular job.
12. Next steps: All right, I hope you learned
a lot from this class. Now if you have any
questions at all. I'm an open book. I'm always here to help. So leave those down below
in the comments and I'll be sure to answer
them as best as I can. And because I truly
believe that you don't just learn by listening to me talk and seeing me do stuff you learn best by doing. So, make sure that
you implement what you learned in this
course right away or as soon as you can block off an hour in your calendar
and get something done, the first thing you
can do is definitely grab a pen and paper and just brainstorm some
service ideas and some packages that you can offer based on what
you learned here. But of course, I want
you to try and put these into actual practice even before you
put it out there. Because you'll need a portfolio so you can create stuff
for your portfolio. You can create
thumbnails, videos, shorts, wherever
floats your boat. Yeah, Go ahead and download
Wonder Share for Mora. Try it out for yourself,
and then of course, use that information to tweak your packages that you
drafted in the beginning. Again, well, learning is super important and
here on skill share, you have a ton of classes
that you can take, make sure you're not getting
stuck in the learning wheel, and that you actually
put this into practice. Meaning, of course, you
draft your services out, you test them out, and create a portfolio. But then go ahead and
put it out there, whether it is on
upward fiber contra, on your social media, put it out there and start
offering that service. You'll never feel
100% ready, trust me. And again, the best way to
learn is by doing it and by actually working with clients and learning the
ins and outs of it. It may be scary at first, but trust me, you'll
get the hang of it. So get out there, get creating, and please make sure,
like I said before, you share down below in
the project section, anything you create
from thumbnails to video scripts using AI to actual videos
that you've edited. I want to see them
all and I'm sure your fellow students want
to see them as well. So share them down below. Comment on someone
else's projects. That being said, I hope you have a great day and I'll
see you next time by.
