Final Cut Pro X Essentials: From Newbie to YouTuber

1. 1. Final Cut Pro Course Overview: Hey, how's it going, everyone? My name is John on that first like toe walking me to final cut Pro X essentials, I will be your mentor throughout this course where I guide you on how to edit and create professional looking videos on final Cut Pro X. This course was made for beginners who are looking to just know the essentials of final cut pro in order to achieve professional looking videos. If you're looking for techniques, skills and strategies to get the job done in order to be proud of your video edit in this course is for you. If you're looking for super in depth training and are wanting to learn every single thing about final cut Pro X, then this course may not be for you. Final Cut Pro X can be a very complex and intricate software, but for me I only use the essentials of it in order to get the job done. Which means editing the video is the way I want them to look without having to ask someone else. I want clean visuals, crisp edits and clear audio in my videos, and that's exactly what I'm gonna be teaching you in this course. I got started on YouTube back in early 2010 and I have edited probably over 2000 videos in my life. So the goal this course is to teach your step by step everything that I do to edit videos and post them on YouTube so that you can quickly edit and create professional looking videos on your YouTube channel as well. Be aware, though this definitely does require skill in practice, I will teach you how to basically come up with a workflow technique that will make editing videos a lot easier for you. Another thing to know is that while I may be showing you just a few things that may see daunting at first, I've got years of experience. In my end, you are only starting out. But I have no doubt that after this course you'll feel confident in editing videos to your style videos, which you surely will be proud of. To upload on YouTube, There's gonna be a lot of information involved in. As you can predict, there's also gonna be a lot of time required on your end as well. Learning how to edit your own videos can turn into a valuable skill. Video is going nowhere anytime soon. And with my knowledge and step by step process on how to edit videos on Final Cut Pro, you're on the path to calling yourself a video editor. In this course, our class project is going to be editing a YouTube video that you filmed. This video could be related to any topic. It doesn't matter. It could be any duration as well, because the techniques and strategies that I'm gonna teach you can apply to technically any video. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me. The 3 Purposes of Video Editing: So before we dive into getting started with the final cut Pro X application, I want to quickly go over why I video had it. Or, in other words, what's the purpose of video editing to obtain a good video? This is done through video editing, but essentially I edit videos to achieve three things. Number one is to make it shorter. People's attention spans are not very long. The ideal length of a video should be six minutes or less. In my course, I place a strong emphasis on trimming the fat of your video to make short and straight to the point videos that are packed with information that your viewers want. Toe watch number two to make it more engaging. Now, even the most monitoring people like me can make engaging videos. Making engaging videos involves the use of importing various media types, such as videos, images, screen recordings, typography, transition, sound effects, graphics and so much more. All of this which I will be covering in my course and number three to make the video easier to understand. This will mostly depend on the context of your video, but I video at it to make points within my video. Easier to understand. Just remember, though, that when you're speaking in your video, try and speak at 1/5 grader level. This will make your video easier to understand. So there you have it, guys. Just a few thoughts to keep in mind when video editing. I hope this gives you a reason as to why we video and it rather than just a video edit with no goal in mind. 3. 3. Organize & Backup Footage: Okay, so the first thing we want to do with our class project is organized them back up our footage. It would be really unfortunate if your foot was on your computer and it crashed and the only copy of your footage was only on your computer. Now what I do is that I edit final cut pro X on a SSD hard drive, but you can see right here I use the Samsung Portable SSD, and it's, I think, to terabytes in storage. Sizable! Jump into We open it up here. So you go the Samsung, as is the hard drive. So the good thing about SST hard drives that they're fast and the old also allow you to save a lot of space on your computer. So when I start a new project, I usually create a new folder, So we'll call this one final cut Pro X essentials. Now that I have this folder created, I create four folders, and those folders are an audio folder, a B roll folder, a final project and original media. So what I'll do is I'll create on audio folder. Then I'll create, uh, B roll holder and then I will create a final project folder, and then I'll create a original media. If you've recorded your video on a camera, you basically just plug in your micro as the card. I haven't adapter for my inserting your micro SD card, which goes into my computer, but I already did that. And so the video that I'm gonna edit for a class project is this one here. It's an intro video toe, one of my my other courses that I sell, but so I'll place this file in their original media older and wait for. That's a load now. So as you can tell by these four folders, my music and sound effects will go under audio. All my B roll, such as extra footage, images, screenshots screen recordings those are all going this folder here. My final project will consist of the actual video file after I've exported it from Final Cut Pro X, An original media folder is just the original raw file that I filmed on. No, after I have this created, I'll also place this file and H d hard drive. So I'm using the W. D. H D hard drive, which I think holds about five terabytes. So now that I have my footage on my HD hard drive and my SD hard drive, I'd say that my footage is properly backed up Now. Now, for some reason my computer ever crashes. I'll at least have my original media onto hard drives. And after I'm all done with the editing my entire project, I'll actually be placing all the files in my S de hard drive again in my w d hard drive so that I have all the original B roll audio and also a copy of the final project as well. That's all I have Foreign Guard regards to editing or organizing and backing up my footage . 4. 4. Adjusting FCPX Preferences: So in this lesson, we're gonna adjust the settings or the preference settings for final cut pro. And so what we're gonna do is that we're gonna finally launch final Cut pro. And now when you launch it because your new it'll ask you which library would be like to open. Let's create a new library and call this final cook pro class. And now you can name your library, whatever you want and then no later lesson. I'll go over the difference between libraries, events and projects. I'll just go on and say that so I can have a blank library not up here. Where's his final cut pro going and click that and then click on Preferences And then the time that I Want You to Go Under is called Import. So what's important about this import type is that you have to make sure that under files here it says, leave files in place. Now, what that means is that every time important in new media in tow, Final cut pro. It won't copy the file toe final cut pro, because if it does that, then you're gonna have two copies taking up space in your computer and with leave files in place. If you have your files and your SS the hard drive you can edit straight from your SSD hard drive so that this all the files that you end up accumulating. Don't take up space on your computer and you could easily rack up. Ah, a lot of gigabytes and storage just by editing one video. So it's very important that you click this bunk here, leave files in place, and aside from that other import tab, that will be it for editing the preference settings for now. 5. 5. Final Cut Pro X Interface: No, this. Listen, I'm gonna briefly go over the final cut pro user interface. So right off the bat, don't be overwhelmed because it's a lot, But it's very easy to learn. And I'm going to start by going from this top left corner toe, making more weighed down towards the bottom right hand side. So first you have the sidebar, and this sidebar consists of libraries events, and then over here will be projects. And then you also have your music and audio. Phonic a pro comes with their own bunch of sound effects, which is really helpful. You can access iTunes, so these are all, though music tracks and sound effects. I haven't iTunes. And then over here in this tab where it says the T icon, this is where your titles and generators are, which I'll be covering in a later section. Now, when you go back to libraries, events and projects tab, when you import a project here, you'll be able to skim through that project. And when you skin through that project, or if you skim through that your project here and down here in the timeline this giant area here is your timeline. What you have your cursor is sent to is what will appear in here, which is the viewer. And again, this is just a very brief overview of the interface. So here's where your project and media files will show. This is your time. Magnetic timeline is what final compromise likes to call it. This here is your viewer, in which you will actually see your footage in real time on this top right corner here, this is what's called the inspector window. And then what? Inspector window? Is this what I like to call it basically customizes the clips or photos or whatever sort of media you have selected. So think of this as kind of the customization window now going back down to here. As I've said before, this is called the magnetic Timeline, and this is essentially where you create your video by adding and arranging cliffs and making your edits. The timeline is called magnetic because every time you drop in drag a clip, it'll magnetically attached to the following clip, and you'll see what I mean later, as we get into it and in the magnetic a timeline. You could arrange clips in lane so you'll have your video footage lane and down below it, you'll have your audio lanes and above it you'll have your title lanes. And again, this will be more clear when we actually start importing titles, audio and footage or in the middle. Here is where you'll have your tools, a lot of various tools. So this here, these are all tools, which all have a different function and then set of right of it is basically the shortcut in order to access that toe over here is her time duration. Over here is more tools, which I'll briefly go over and over. Here is your effects window. So these air, where you can apply various effects to not only video but also audio as well. And then here this is the icon for transitions. So this is what you place in between clips. If you want to change one clip from toe another clip, you can have it cross dissolve in, so if you click on it and then skin through, it will show you what the transition looks like. And so, as I have said before, as we go throughout this course, a lot of what you see here will make a lot more sense when there's actually footage and media toe actually play around with and experiment with. I hope this gives you a general idea of how the final cut pro interface looks like, so you won't be so confused as we move on towards our next lessons. 6. 6. Libraries, Events, & Projects: So in this lesson I'll go over the difference between libraries, events and project. And those air the basically the three levels of structure and final cut pro X So the top most level is called your libraries. So this is your library the one that we created initially when we first launched final cut Pro X. So libraries hold all the related media content that you work with in final cut pro X. You could have numerous libraries and you have the option of closing and opening libraries on the fly. And like I said before in the previous lesson, you can basically store libraries in your SS, the hard drives so that you're working externally. And so all this space doesn't get taken up on your actual computer. Now the next level is called events, and this is an event every time you create a new library and event is automatically created for you, every library needs an event. So you can't delete this event until you could you create a new event within this library, so I'll create another event called Final Cook Project. So now that I have to events, I can delete this one here Now I have this lot event here. Try and think of the events as virtual containers that hold all your media assets related to a project. So anything that you import into final cut Pro X within this library gets put into this event and the last level off organization structure are their projects. So now, in order to create a new project, you just click on file. Click on how they knew in the click on Project projects are basically where the final exported videos are made from. Projects contain data about resolution format frame ray rendering I keep These are my settings for exporting of it, and you should follow these ones here. So it's said it's a 10 80 p HD 1920 by 10 80 set the frame rate to 24 roughly 24 frames per second. And I usually Neymar project name after my event name so called again like a pro next project. Now that we have our first project created, you can see that it's still blank and so the next lesson will go over importing your media . But now that you have a library event and project, this is basically ready to be exported as, Ah, final project. So again, in the next video, we'll go over how to actually import media. So now that will actually start seeing things in the viewer window. 7. 7. Importing Media: So one of the most basic functions that you can perform on Final Cut Pro X is importing content to be edited and in this lesson will finally import our class project. Now there are numerous ways to important media within final cut Pro X. They're known them is wrong from one of the ways if I pull up my where my original media actually is original media. One way is that you can simply highlight this and drag and drop it like I didn't see how it kind of fits in there, and that's usually what I do. Other ways you can dio. So if I click on Command Z Command, Zia's universal function for Undue Spy click on Command Z. Another way of importing your class project is by clicking Front. New is clicking on file import Import Media and then go into your hard drive. Click on Samsung, Funchal, Kroeske, Project Original Media and then click on that. And then you can click on import Now. If you If my hard drive was filled with all the media content that I wanted to include in my video, I could just highlight the folder and click import selected and it'll import all the media that's found within this folder. But because I only have one video file in there, I'll just click import, selected and also notice how under files here, it says, leave files in place. That's perfect. And that occurs because we edited the preference settings before. So if clicking, import selected now we'll see our giant clip here. So one thing I do recommend when filming her videos is to do it in one giant take. If you mess up, clap your hands or if you mess up, just leave a long pause so it will be much easier toe. Know where your mistakes are within your videos by looking at the audio waves and you'll know you'll get what I mean. I want to go more of this in future lesson. Now, before we end this lesson, I want to make sure that this video is now in our magnetic timeline, So see how your dragon drop it. It magnetically sticks to the left hand side off the timeline, and that is what final cut pro X refers to as the magnetic timeline. And now, up here, this is our one media foul of course, when we start adding more images, screen Rashad other footage. This will be occupied by more media types. But I don't want my one video clip to take up four rows. So what you can dio is that you can click on this click on command and then click on minus side minus sign and that will shrink that clip. Teoh, this is how small it is. It can be. But I like this picture where just takes a per sector because I know this is the original media file and I only have one giant take of the original media file. So after this lesson, we're about to dive into how I personally edit on final cut Pro X, and how I feel has been the most efficient for me. How I add it is going probably gonna be really different from how you've seen other instructors teaching it. So get ready 8. 8. Speeding Up Clips: Okay, so if you recall in the goals of video editing, one of the goals is to make the video shorter, so shorter videos are easier to consume and allow you to also get to the point quicker. So for all my videos actually speeded up by roughly 4 to 6% now, I implement the step right at the beginning of my editing process. If you know that you're a slow toe average talker than make the judgment of actually implementing this step. But if you know that you're a fast talker already, then go ahead and do skipped the step. But still, it's important to know how to speed up clips. So now, in order to do this, you're gonna want to highlight your clip and then click on the buttons command and then are . What you'll see is that you'll see this tab this green tab appear. So in order to remove this transitions tab, just click on it and it'll disappear. Now, when you click on command are you'll see this green tab appear above your clip that you've highlighted, and this is called the Speed Ramping tab, and what the normal 100% means is that it's displaying at the normal rate at which your video was filmed. So if I want to speed this up, what I'll do is that I'll grab this handle here at the edge and then I'll slowly Dragon CEO says fast cause now I'm speeding up my clip and I'll make about 4% faster. Like I said, for 46% is what usually I do. So go ahead and make the judgment that if this is what you think should be applied to, your video didn't do apply it even if it's only like 3 to 4% it's those shaves off a few seconds to notice how my video went from seven minutes to 13 seconds to roughly from seven minutes and 30 seconds. So that shave roughly 17 seconds. I think if my math is correct, so I'll go ahead and do that again to make this about 4% faster. And so now if I play back my video well, first will play the original one. So how I'm going between edits before and afters by clicking Command Z. So let's play the original one. Two channels test now. If we speed it up. Now let's look at the difference. So see, it's not a very noticeable difference at all, especially to Ah, random. You're coming to your video. But you do know for a fact that we did shave off a good handful of seconds from our video in order to make it shorter. So now, in order to remove this top tab off of your clip, just click on command are again, and it'll be gone now. Another way you can speed up clips. Is that under the viewer, where you see this kind of like what looks like to be like a speedometer? If you click on that, you'll see that it says already has default settings of house lower fast. You want your clip to be normal fast, two times faster, four times faster, eight times faster, 50 50% slower, 25% slower, 10% slower. Or you could do a custom, and you can set this to, let's say 1 18 where you can set it. Teoh 104 Both ways Ah, do achieve the same result of speeding up or clips and again one of the goals of video editing. Shave off the seconds from how much how long your video is 9. 9. Applying Color Correction: All right, so now in this lesson, we're actually gonna jump straight into the color correcting. Now, the reason why I color correct right at the beginning is because of a psychological factor . I like editing good looking footage, same color correcting technique that I'm gonna show you can work on any clip you ever edit because very standard slashing basic stuff that I teacher when it comes to color correcting what did you rather at a good looking footage the next our tour than editing bad looking footage? ID rather at a good looking footage. And again, it's based on preference so you can color correct at the beginning, or you can color correct at the end. But at least with you filming only one giant take, all you have to do is just click on this and in color, correct the whole thing, assuming that everything has been filmed within the same light and roughly around the same time. But if you did take one take than I assumed that it would be so now, in order to actually set up your color correction, you want to highlight your clip and then click here on this triangle icon that shows the color inspector. So now don't use the color board. I used the color wheels, all right, so now these wheels will pop up. But then, in orderto just these wheels, I go ahead and click on window and then go down toe work spaces and click on color and effect. And that will change your interface from the default interface to a colors and effects interface. So let's go ahead and click on effect so that window goes away. Now up here where it says view. Click on that. Let's change the window to instead of showing four squares that show one square and then click on this little icon here, and this is called the color scope and this change channels to Lu Ma. Now what we have is here. So what this is is a loom, a wave scale, and the goal of this bloom a wave scale is to make sure that your highlights don't exceed 100 but get as close to 100 as possible and that your shadows don't go below zero, but they get as close to zero as possible. So the higher the number. That's what's related to your highlights. and the lower the number. That's what's related to your shadows. So as you can see here, the loom a wave corresponds to what's being seen from a left direct perspective in your video frame clip. So you see how this part here kind of spikes out past 100. That's because of this window here. All right, so you get understand how it's from a left to right perspective. So what I want to do is that I want to lower the highlights. So I everything is below 100 you're not seeing a blown out window. So let's just lower down just a bit. So notice how I dragged the color wheel highlight ticker to be just They're just so it's below 100 any Lord and you see that my entire film starts to get darker. But let's make us close to 100 bar right there now for the shadows, the shadows already probably at a good level. But we'll just take her down just a tad bit now for the mid tones. What I usually do is I just increase this ever so slightly, so that kind of brightens up my video while making sure that it doesn't completely over. So just a little mid tones to there. So now if you click this box here, it will show you the before and after. But it's a very, very simple color correction techniques that you can apply to basically any video. Any video at all is just making sure that your highlights are as close to 100 as possible, but not over and making sure your shadows are close to zero as possible, but not less than zero. So after I do the color wheels, I click on that. And let's go to the hue and saturation curves so that with the human saturation curves, let's go ahead and raise this by just half a square, so usually raised from half a square toe, a full square. But it's through half a square just because I don't want my skin to be so, so exposed. And that's usually all I do for color. Correction is just I just add a bit of saturation, make the brights as high as possible and make the shadows as dark as possible. Now, if you click on command zero, that'll bring you back to your default window interface for final Cut Pro. Now, if you click on the effects, this is the before, and that's the after before, after, before and after Notice How it is a very slight difference. And again, this is for color correction and the more video clips that you add it applying this technique and strategy for color correcting the more that you will see that it doesn't make your footage look a lot better again before and 10. 10. Getting Clear Audio: So after getting your video toe look good, the next step is to edit the audio to make it sound. Chris. Now there are two effects that I applied to my video clips in order to make the audio sounding more Chris and I credit. This is something I learned from another instructor here named Ali, and his final cut Pro X course is very well done as well. I do recommend checking it out, but the two effects I'm talking about are the limiter effect and the channel e que audio effect. So first we're going to start with the limiter effect. So if you click on the effects tab right here and you under search, let's type and limiter so limiter. And if you highlight your clip and double click the limiter effect, it'll apply the limiter effect to it. So if you click on your sound inspector tool here, it's the icon on the sound scroll down highlight limiter. And now let's adjust the limiter settings. So, for based on my research, when you're speaking in a video, your audio level should range to roughly about negative six decibels, but it should never go over zero decibels because if it goes over zero, that's what kind of leads to distortion when people hear your audio, so not toe or in order to actually show on audio wave here, let's click on window, highlight down to show in workspace and let's click on audio meters. So now you will see our audio meter so that when we play our video welcome everyone to viral video success. My name is so far off the bat, I can tell that my audio levels probably range from negative four and negative six so we won't have too much gain to my audio. Well, maybe we'll try adding, maybe just, uh, to decibel gain. Okay, because not so much before the release, I changed this to 280. And for the audio output level, we don't want this to pass roughly negative 4.5. Look ahead. I just leave that alone so that when we listen to it, six together with my team are going to help others achieve ST success that we're achieving , whether it's through video creation, in which case, so it's still hovering less than about negative sexo increase to gain just a tad bit more changes of five. Yes, my name is Giancarlo Chorus, and I basically run four YouTube channels that generate a six figure income. From that Sounds a lot better will do. Just increase the game just tad back again. You What I'm looking for is so that notice how in the output level I put my apple level to negative 4.5. I'm looking for it to hover just around four point, or a little less than 4.5. From what I'm seeing, it's still hovering less than negative six or changes to about seven gain that. I think that's looking a lot better now because I'm seeing it go above negative six decibels. But the main key point is just to make sure that you audio levels don't go past zero decibels. And by adding this output level, this effect will kind of limit any audio sounds. Not all your audio sounds within your clip. Any audio sounds that have a chance of going over past zero decibels or higher than zero decibels. That's all they have for the limiter, not for the channel e que settings. I'm not an audio specialist, and even for me, this is pretty confusing, but I have a preset in terms of the channel e que setting. So I did. What I did is just I just tucked in channel searched for it, dragged and dropped the channel eq you setting. And now that it's here, let's click on the customization window, the Advance editor. And so I have a custom preset that'll link below and the proud in the project miscellaneous materials and downloadable is that you can copy in order to apply to this channel EQ you setting? So I named that male narration in order to create this male narration channel. Each you setting all you do is adjust in number so you can literally click on each number. So first opened up the my resource file that I have down below or within the miscellaneous downloadable files. And when you open the channel e que advanced settings, you can just click each number and type in what you see and copy basically, what's in that reference? Several redone it and this is my preset. And after you input all those numbers, you can just save it as a preset. And they have one for both male and females because I already have it. I'm just gonna click on my save preset. Go ahead and apply that. So now let's listen to my audio. No, I've been running viral video channels for over a year now, and in that time I've been able to generate over six figures on Callie to the Modern. So now we actually remove all our audio effects. Let's listen to it now. Proven way of going in to town. I tried filming gas, and now let's listen to again. Notice how it sounds more Crespin and doesn't sound so echoey. It's like just a little thing, but it's very easy to apply. Doesn't take too much of your time at all. And again, you can say presets that you can apply this to every single clip that you do. Unwilling to use the modern, proven way of growing you to count. Notice the difference. It's echoey versus sounding crisp and clean. That's what I'm after is that crisp, clean sound effect. So that's what I have in terms of editing. Audio is just setting the limiter effect and also setting the channel eq you effect to a preset grammar that I've say from before and again, I'll leave a reference to a link where you copy the channel e que settings and also again accrediting Ali for showing me how to get this type of audio, which I, in my opinion, sounds a lot better than from used to post of my previous audio levels. That's all we have for audio. 11. 11. Trimming, Blade Tool, & Markers: right. So now we have good looking footage and we have good sounding audio. And this is why I like to start off my video at it is from good looking footage and good sounding audio. Now we're finally going to get into the meat of actually added Inc your video, and this is where it might get a bit confusing because there's a lot of keyboard shortcuts that I'm gonna show you. And keyboard shortcuts are essential to learning in order to make the video editing process a lot faster. So what this lesson is going to consist of is basically using all these tools here, trimming the blade tool and using markers. So first, I'm actually going to remove this audio me to be here. So click on window Sean workspace and let's remove the audio meters. I was fully blank. Now let's click on command Plus plus in order to zoom in on the audio. So when you're editing video, a lot of what you edit can be visually seen based on your audio levels. So that's why I recommended before in previous lesson that every time you make a mistake, go ahead and crap or go ahead and leave a pause, because when I edit by video, every time I see a big spike, that's when I know there's a mistake. Or every time I see that there's a long pause. That's when I know there's probably a mistake. So let's go ahead and click Command plus. Plus, I know for a fact. When I filmed this video, I think I film to intros everyone to viral video. Six. No side clapping. So that's basically the same in show. So going and click your clip, highlight it, click on option and then left hand bracket. And what that will do is that that will drag everything on the left hand side of that clip where your cursor is and cut that out and slide that video over. So if you click on Command Z, click on the clip, so against Option left Hand bracket and notice how everything from total left of that kind of gets caught out through that and then to drag over command plus plus welcome everyone to viral video success with all the video edits that ideo. I always take out blank space, so notice here it isn't blank space, but what we don't want to do is that we don't undo option command or option bracket left hand bracket cause then that would eliminate this stuff to the left, which we what we want. So that was when you the blade tool comes in handy. So click on B and you'll see that your cursor it turns into a blade. So what I'll do is that I'll click here and then I'll click here and then believe this sounds together with my team. So again, blank space blamed it out, are going to help others achieve the same success that were keys through video creation. Which case we help So north. I was a long pause. It means I messed up. So knows I'm just using the blade tool now and deleting as I go. Whether it was a pause. Let's get really in there. Click on Blade B for blade there. Clip there. Now if you want to exit the blade tool. So when I'm editing, I always have one finger on the blade, the beef keyboard, the BBA, and also the a bind the A. But it is basically your selectable. So what we're doing right now is that we're kind of switching between this blade tool B and select A because I don't want to click on. I want to be able to click on a clip without actually cutting it. But I also want to be able to cut a clip without actually selecting it. So I want to select this clip than hit. Delete. Now delete that video, but then go back towards the blade tool. So a for select be for Blade that's placed video creation, in which case we can help you create videos for you to be posted on YouTube or, if you're just starting out. So there you go. So let's click again, then delete. Delete just starting out way. Offer a comprehensive and thats so my trimming process usually just consists of using the Blade tool and the A four selection tool. And with this process, I also am able to review my entire video essentially, and I'm one. I'm also reviewing my video. Let's go back to beginning real quick. Another keyboard shortcut forgot to show you is the MBA. And so what the M shortcut does is that leaves something called a marker. So I leave markers for when I want to add titles or screenshots or B roll just to give myself a reminder. So this first run of their video head, it is just gonna be trimming using the blade tool and using markers. So I want to leave. Ah, maybe my logo here. So put em. So every time I repeat myself, I always assumed that my most recent take or the second take is the one that I actually want included in my video because there's obviously a reason why I repeated it. But that's probably because my first take was a mistake. So let's see again, together with my team, are going to help others achieve this together with my Yeah, so we'll delete this one and this one so nervous, I'm leaving markers everywhere. I want to add some sort of engagement media or B roll. Notice how there's some blank space here will eliminate that every bit of debt space counts in terms of shaving off seconds off your video and making it shorter for your viewers to see. Okay, so notice. There's a lot of debt space here, so we'll zoom in and on their look at all that That's me. Stop you. There was a mistake here, so there's a lot of mistakes here. So what kind of what kind of zoom out? So command minus minus brings your browser out more. Okay, so now I remember what happened. There was a huge mistake that occurred, so basically repeating the entire video again. But if that's the case, what I'll do is that I'll go right towards the edge of here. Click on that. I like the clip. And then remember the bracket function for trimming a clip toward everything from the left of the cursor option left hand bracket. Let's do that. And then if you click on Shift Z, that'll show your entire timeline. Okay, so I clicked on Ship Z and not my entire timeline is fitted across my entire screen. So click command plus plus plus, let's move over towards the left. Let's delete all the content that's still left of my retake. Welcome everyone to violated its second marker command post. Plus, my name is jumped and now that's delete dead space. My name has some screenshots, and there may be of my YouTube channels. So again, just between the being the a tool, hopefully use this gives your idea in terms off. Now what I'm doing is I'm just going through my video, blading out any pauses or mistakes using a keyboard shortcut A to delete a video or clip and using the keyboard shortcut em toe lead these little markers of where I want to place b roll. Whether it's screenshots images, typography titles, it doesn't matter. But I'm not gonna have you guys watch me at it this entire video. But essentially what that consists of is just those are the three main shortcuts when it comes to trim all the fat within my video. Some guy actually just going to speed this up now. All right, so there we have it, guys, in terms of just essentially trimming and editing and adding markers to your first round of you reviewing your entire clip again, The goal is to make the videos shorter and trimming out all the fat and to just get straight to the point in your videos. So look for every opportunity to cut down on time, okay? 12. 12. 30 Second Rule for Engagement: everyone. So in this lesson, I want to touch basis on something like to call the 32nd rule for engagement. And so when it comes to editing, you want to try your best to make sure that viewers are staring at you talk for more than 30 seconds or else they might lose interest. So at least once every 30 seconds, you may want to add typography or an image or another R B roll footage of a different shot . Or you want to add some graphics for a slight transition, but basically something to kind off pop out within that 32nd least once within that 32nd time frame. If you could imagine if the entire video or lessons or just me talking straight into the camera like this, it's kind of hard to keep interest cause it's just me talking. But by adding multiple B roll or different types of engagement media, you'll be able to increase the proceeds value off when it comes to viewers watching your video. So my recommendation now this isn't set in stone. I don't Some people have a 12th rule for engagements, or at least once every 10 seconds there, including some sort of typography, image, video, graphic or title flying in, I think once every 10 seconds is a little bit excessive. So that's why I changed my one toe once every 30 seconds. Try and show a different type of media engagement in order to kind of reset the viewers attention span and also improve. Watch time on your videos. And again, this isn't something that's set in stone and probably not going to see this elsewhere outside of this course. But it is something that I personally do for my videos in order to increase the watch time of my videos on YouTube. 13. 13. Engagement Media (B Roll): So when editing your video, you have your main rule, and that's basically everything. Here. This is all your main role, and then you have your B roll, which is footage that is placed on top of your main role. So let's see if I could just find a random. You notice how I'm talking, and then this piece of footage shows. So this is what you call your B roll, which is basically supplemental alternate footage that's over laid on top of your main role in order to increase the perceived or productivity's value of your video. Now beer o The way I use it, it's to basically improve the engagement off. Your videos and B roll can include different types of footage, such as what you see here or cannon crew of images you find online or animations or graphic elements. So here are different types of beer. Oh, that you can include in your videos. So one, as I've discussed before, is footage, so this can either be filmed or you can find rule to free royalty free stock footage online , such as from Storey Block or Adobe. And then there's still images so I can find a random still image. But here's a still image. There's still images that you can overlay on top of your video as well. And I'll show you in a future lesson of how to make still images more dynamic and more pleasing toe watch rather than just popping into the video like this. And now there's also animations. So let's pretend that I'm not animator at all. So what? I turned in terms of animations. Maybe I wanted to do this to the video, and that kind of looks ugly. Let's try something else. Let's try a circle so you can add animations. It still kind of bad. I think it's because it's the same clip. But if you were to input this clip right there, that's kind of the animation portion I'm talking about when it comes to adding animations or maybe like flying text within your video. Now, the next thing you can add is also graphics. Now graphics are another for their engagement media, but again, I'm not the best graphic designer, and I rarely add graphics to my video because I can't create them. Maybe sometimes I'll add a check mark of some sort and have that fly in. As for Screenshots, I do use a lot of screenshots over laid on top of my main role when it comes to editing my videos. So it's pretending talking about how to grow and instagram page I'll screenshot and I can screenshot with. With the Mac computers, you can screenshot any second of your your screen just by clicking command shift and four and this little cursor will come up and you basically just highlight what you want to screen. Capture the next form of engagement media that I like to including videos are screen recordings now for screen recordings I use this program, called Loom and Loom is a software, and it does a very good job of recording these videos from what you're seeing now, this is actually recording on Loom, and it stores your video after you finish recording on its online cloud and in the last form of engagement media like to include is just little simple basic typography. So if you go to our titles tohave appear, we'll just fine. I would use the basic title cause I don't like being super super fancy when it comes to just adding titles so Let's find a So let's say I wanted to emphasize award 100 views on my newest channel. So I'll say Type here. So click on the title and then click on these lines to add it to text. So 100 reviews new ists video. It's changed a fund. I use impact a lot. We can change the size by dragging here. Or you can type the number of years making 1 25 put it down and then to make a stick out more maybe would just add a shadow. That's what I mean by Anne typography in terms of a different type of engagement media. But keep in mind, though, that when adding these different types of media to improve engagement, the overall goal should be to strengthen or support what's being said in your video. So don't just add a random clip of the YouTube headquarters if it doesn't really relate to what's being said. Don't just add random visuals here and there just because for no reason, I personally use different types of engagement media or B roll in order to improve engagement and watch time in my YouTube videos, and it kind of relates back to the 32nd rule, where I kind of don't want my viewers to be watching my face talking the whole entire time . So use different types of engagement. Media kind of resent your viewers attention and also emphasize what's being said in your video. 14. 14. Adding Titles: No. In this video, I'm gonna teach you how to add titles to your video. So up here in this sidebar, you'll see the shore hide. The title is generator in the sidebar going to click that and these are all your titles that I briefly touched on in the previous lesson, so I don't normally use 360 degree title. So I stay away from these my do you sometime use use three D titles or if you cook on titles, that'll show them all the most common when I use is just the basic title. OK, but there's a whole bunch of titles that, like this, is a Star Wars one fairus feel as I've always said before in previous lessons and my pain. Simplicity is elegant, so I don't go pretty crazy And using a title, for example, like this. This is pretty intense for a title now to preview titled As You Can See What I'm Doing, I just click on the title and I kind of just skim through what? How it looks like the CEO. This is a scale three D. This is a scrolling title EC spider title. So you just came through in order to see what the title actually ends out to becoming. Now, if you want to actually add a title to your magnetic timeline, you can you just drag and drop it or you can pressed you no attitude. And for where your cursor is, you have highlight the title rescue. It will add the title to wherever you're your cursor is or this bar here. Okay, Does he kill? I had a pair of him over here que Now, regarding the duration of a title so we'll say will use this title here. Okay, regarding the duration of the title, you can always change the duration by either grabbing the handles at the hand, then dragging left or right, or you can click on the title. I click on change duration, change this to four seconds and shower short in it down. And then regarding titles on your screen, you don't want your title to be like a sentence long. You want to be able to make it short enough so that it could quickly be read three times fast. And then there's also a difference between title fonts and reading funds. So we're going the previous title I Major and other lesson Impact is a title fun caso Short words easy to read and kind of sticks out, but you don't want to turn this into a sentence, so we'll say so. See how hard it gets to read if you're using a lot of words with title funds, so you have to do your research regarding what the title find, What's a reading fund? But for title funds, I always use them as just titles, not for reading funds. If you do want a display of sentence, for some reason, within your video I'll recommend a font such as Maybe Futura. So you're the future. I can be a reading front, so the idea is that you want to use reading funds as reading funds. But reading funds can also be used US title funds. But title funds such as Impact should not be used as reading funds. Okay, and I said before I try not to get too fancy when it comes to my title is the most common one I use is the basic title fund and common funds that I used to men ones are impact for titles and future for reading and again when it comes to titles simplicities, usually elegance. In my case, feel free to browse around all these titles in whichever one you want to use consent. We just drag and drop wherever you want to be used. 15. 15. Adding Generators: No this. Listen, we're gonna go over generators so generators are found within the same tab as titles. Click here and then click on generators. Generators mostly consists of backgrounds. There's a bunch of backgrounds, animated or solid backgrounds. The most common generator I use is usually just solid color backgrounds, and that's that generator is called Custom my dragon dropping here. And if I want to make the shorter, just click on my cursor here, click option right bracket to make clip that out. So this is just the basic background solid color generator. So if I click color there, it's white. I could just make this background any color I want, and if I want to make it the same exact color as something, whatever I see in the screen. So let's pretend that I want this solid color to be the same exact color as the YouTube red . So leave your cursor there, click on the red, and now this background generator has the same color as the YouTube red color. Although generators are mostly made out of backgrounds, other people also use generators for us, such as as usual placeholders. So they have some placeholders here So let's pretend that there's a shot that you forgot to film. You can use those generators of placeholder. Don't to kind of indicate that Hey, this shot needs to be film before I forget. So let's say I needed a film. A shot of my dog collar stepped on my dog. Okay? And then you could also add a time a time code generator, which basically shows the what time your project is in right now. So this does come in handy. Sometimes when I want and show the time frame or whatever certain spotted to the video I'm in and then you can ingest it here within the inspector toe. I don't really use the time code frame a lot, but with other YouTube videos, I'd have noticed that people are starting to implement this time co generator and then the last thing I use generators mostly for his elements and shapes. So this is up pretty inborn. One that I use a lot. And so final cut pro has its own shape. Generator to figure. Winston Inspector Tool. You can change it from a circle toe. A diamond octagon arrow meant to rotate it. You would just click on the video Inspector tool here. Just click on the rotation, all right, you will have to play around this a lot, kind of like check off and check on certain things. Check on and off. So so that's the outline. This changes the color of the outline if I want the corner square. So there's a lot of custom accusations and inspector tools were not only for the shape generator, but for all the generators, in fact, but feel free to do. Explore around here and look at all the generators that might be useful for your projects. If you can't find a generator that you think final component final cut pro should have, try using the search bar as well. When it comes to adding generators again, feel free to look around and play around with what sort of generators you think you might need for your project. I, for one, very simple. The only generator I use is custom generators, this one here and shaped generators that one there. 16. 16. Skimming & Snapping: So since we're adding titles to our video, I want to briefly going go over the skimming and snapping tools, and that's found here on this rights. Okay, so, skimming and snapping What skimming does is that you see how, when you drag your cursor across the timeline, it shows the visual audio likes giving fast. Like as you skim across your main role, you see in the viewer what you're highlighting. And that's because of this tool here, and this stands for skimming Turn on or off. Now let's pretend that you didn't want your viewer. Teoh Riel time. What's being highlighted in your main magnetic timeline? If you press s, it'll stop skimming. So notice how I'm dragging my cursor and nothing's happening now. In order to move the cursor, I actually have to click, not their process again. It skims through there now I usually keep skimming on, and if you want, you can also turn on keep audio. Skimming on an audio skimming is right. Next set of videos skimming. So if I like this, notice how the audio is no skinny as well. But if you have video skimming turned off, the audio skinning will also be turned off. So again, audio skimming okay, But I usually can't turned off. And now for the next tool called snapping. What snapping means is that so we'll have toe zoom in. It's a command plus supposed to zoom in. What snapping does is that every time you move your cursor next to a end or beginning of a title fun or title clip or audio file, your cursor will automatically snap to the end or beginning off that clip audio or title. So snapping is indicated by this tool here and in the shortcut for snapping, you have think of snapping, not ask. His estimates were skimming. Snapping. The shortcut is the the keyboard and notice how I click en and snapping. It's turned on so that when I highlight my skimmer, it snaps to the beginning of this title, so she'll kind of snaps into place. OK, now click on N. My skimmer no longer snaps to the beginning or ending of clips, and this comes you really useful when you want Teoh. Let's say that this 100 views started right here. I want to place it right here, not at the beginning. The very beginning in the clip. Maybe just one frame after. If I turn off skimming, I can place that video right there. But if I Sorry, if I turn off snapping, I can place this title right there, one frame. But if snapping is turned on, see how it's kind of like snaps into the beginning of the clip. Now it makes it a bit harder toe accurately. Put exactly why I want this title to appear in my video. But if snapping is turned off, I can literally place this title anywhere I want within my main role, frame by frame, without having to worry with its snapping toe beginning or ending off a title, audio or video clip and turning. Snapping on and off comes in really handy when you have a bunch of layers of video stacked on top of each other and snapping automatically keeps incorrectly snapping your clip to an incorrect spot within your video. But because I only have one lane off video right now, it's pretty easy toe. Just place my title right here, But let's imagine that, So I'm going to stack thes three titles again. If I wanted my title, I'm gonna stack these three clips over each other if I wanted my title to appear only right over here. Now we keep snapping off what I want to just right over there. Okay, But if I have snapping on, it'll kind of magnetically connect to the beginning off this clip on top of it. So that's the idea between snapping and skimming and those keyboard shortcuts again. Or s and N s for skimming allows you to your viewer. Teoh, skim through your video and ask for snapping in which your titles nor any any clip at all can snap to the beginning or ending of a video. 17. 17. Cropping, Trimming, & Ken Burns Effect: No, this video here, I'm gonna go over cropping trimming and the kens burns effect. And this especially comes in handy when you're working with images. So I have this image here, and let's pretend that I did actually want to place it into my video. It looks kind of bland or looks out of place in a way, so there's a few ways you can go about making this image more dynamic. The first way is that you can crop it, so in order to crop it, you just click on this button here and then click on crop and then you can crop it here. So this window here, it'll expand it so it fits your entire screen. Then this is what it looks like, but still, it's pretty, pretty static and still kind of boring, in my opinion. So let's click Command Z Manzi again. Command Z. That's the original image. So what you can do is that you can actually duplicate this clip. This is something I do a hell lot and now see how the clips are layered the bottom cliff. Go ahead and click the cropping clicking crop and then click on Ken Burns So what Ken Burns does is that for the duration of how long the clip is displayed, the Green Square shows where the what part of the screen it'll show, and the red rectangle shows when the image will end. So see how the arrow points downwards cause it's gonna go from the green rectangle view to the red rectangle view throughout the entire duration off this clip. So let's go ahead and click on Done and see how that looks. So it looks kind of different now. Let better, right? So it's something I do often within my videos, but then to kind of just focus it more towards this top layer here, which is this layer. Here, I'll go into the effects browser again. The Effects browser. There is a lot of effects you can add, but one of the most common effects that I use is this Goshen blur. So place it there. Now that looks much better. It looks a lot better compared to just this year, right? And now, regarding the cropping tool, I don't really use the distortion to ever I do use crop plea mostly, and sometimes I use transform, but I don't play around with the transform tool too much. But usually this is just to move the image. So Command Z to return back to original position. Or, if I want to just trim this image, I could just drag and drop the handles on the side, and it'll trim this image. This pretend I only wanted to show that section. I would write down goals excitedly from All right, commands easy. And that's how you add an image or basically making image look more dynamic using the crop trim and can burn Ken's burns effect. And then to make it even more dynamic, you can go into your transitions or just click on command T on the top. Clip sleet and and that's the overall results. Okay, this especially comes in handy when your image doesn't take up the whole entire frame of your video. Like for example, here this image only took up the middle third. So, in order to make it more dynamic, this is what you'll dio. It looks a little bit better, right Every time I use an image, I always tried to make it in motion as best as I can in order to make the images more appealing 18. 18. Adding Keyframes: now, another way to add movement within your videos is by using something called key frames. Now this is where it may get a bit confusing, but this is as confusing, and it's probably gonna get within this course. Que frames are markers that you can add onto any clip or video to make the effect of that video more dynamic. So let's see what I mean here, doing parameters of a clip that I ever key frame our position, rotation scale and opacity. Now you see, and you can tell that Ah, parameter of a clip can be key frame if you see these plus diamond signs to the right of it . So even K frame all of these. So let me start with a very basic key frame. So let's zoom in here and click on this transition tabs. Now this clip. Here, let's pretend that we wanted to fade and without using the cross dissolve tool. So that's considered what you call passive capacities, how solid image looks versus how non transparent looks so pass. If you drag us down, see on my image is disappearing. So let's pretend that we want it to fade in so What I'm gonna do is that I'm gonna go to the beginning of this clip. And there's two ways you can do that. You can either click shift I to move directly to the beginning. So notice half a klick shift. I I go to the very first frame off this cliff. No, What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna click this button here the key frame at a key frame by him and you know, it's key frame when you see that it's highlighted in yellow. And so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna start this at 0% and then I'm gonna move towards the end of the frame or another shoot keyboard shortcut for that. His shift. Oh, and then when a key frame this also. And I'm gonna make this 100% not that click on this left arrow. It will go to the previous que frame I click on this right error will go to the end and K frame. So this is the overall result. So you see how this is kind of moving towards the right, and that's because I keep friend it from 0% to 100% throughout the entire duration of the video. Now let's pretend, though, that you only wanted you wanted a full image to appear. Maybe this marker here, what you could do is that clip right click on the clip click on show video animation. And then if you zoom in, you'll see that there's a diamond here and there's a diamond there. Those are representative of those key frames that we added earlier, and the capacity parameter so we could do is they can drag this one all the way here and now. This is how it looks. Afterwards, I would write down goals excitedly, see how kind of faded in a lot quicker rather than ending. But if that's maybe too quick, click show video animation and just drag this out, I would write down goals excitedly from the okay, Okay, In this parameter, you see this little reset icon with the arrow showing pointer left. That's the reason that stuff button to click if you want to set the key frames all the key friends back to zero. So click on that and put it back. I would write down goals, except now, as you can see, it's not playing it's not disappeared or the passage is not being changed anymore. Now another key for my use is regarding the positioning, so I use positioning a lot when let's go ahead and find a title. I use positioning a lot with titles because I want them to move more dynamically. So if I click on my title and then is going to inspect their tab and then let's go to the beginning of the clip by clicking shift by its key friend the position. So the position is on X and Y axis scales. Right now it's at a 00 access. But if I make the position, that's a negative 100 then I go to the end of the clip and let's make this 100. Enter the knife. Created two K friends wanted negative 101 100 so that my text will move from left to right . This is how it looks like. We were constantly shoving down 7500 played mentorships down my throat again. This is made the summer of 2018. Can you? So that's another way to play around with K frames regarding positioning and then ask for rotation. I don't use rotation often, but sometimes I would add rotation toe an image. So let's say this clip here. You kind of want to make it more dynamic. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna add a key frame on rotation and scales rotation and scale . So at the beginning of the clip, let's go ahead and keep friend everything. So click on the plus diamond buttons. Now key friend has been added at the beginning of this cleanse have to another clip. It's kind of rotated, not rotated too much. Maybe just two degrees. And then it's actually increased scale by 115% so that you don't see those edges. So this is the ending result. Now Bill can edit and then finally post. I spent a lot of time and see how it kind of zooms in and kind of rotating. That added more dynamic, and this was without and this is without and edit and then finally post just kind of shaking others on their success. Then McGinnis is with the key frames, film and edit, and then finally closed. I spent a lot of time in vain, others under success and wondered what easily could have been. So the skilled rotation T frame. I always use rotation with scale, but with scale. If I wanted to just zoom in without debilitation, I'm sure it'll look fine as well. It's going to see how you're zooming in. So that's why I used the four parameters that I usually key frame. And then another way to see again as a stress before you can right click on your clip, click on show video animation. You can see where your key friends are input with these diamonds. Which drug left right? Depending on where do you want video to scale to? 115% said so At this point, I'm almost done teaching you all the editing techniques and skills that I used to edit my videos. And in the next few lessons, we're gonna be going over how to add additional types of engagement muteia, such as recording your screen or screenshot a certain section of your screen 19. 19. How to Record Your Screen: I want to record your screen. You can either go Pedro or Free Round, and both have their pros and cons. But they both also evidently get the job done. So first over my pay drought, according screens. So what I used to record my screens is the software called, and so who is a video recording tilt on its record, your message or screen? Very usually it was. You record your Web 10 and your screen at the same time. In addition to that, bloom can actually bloom would actually record even just certain parts of your screen. For example, you'll only want toe record above door your dashboard you can just draw. You could just drag and drop a square to make it so you're square is right above your dashboard and then also allows you to draw on your screen. If you want to emphasize points, drawing here and elegant eventually disappear. And then also, when you click highlights where you click so that people can see what you're clicking, tasted tracking your mouths. And then once you're done recording your screen and you end the recording, Louisville actually upload your video to their own cloud software that stays on line. And what I like about that is that basically access all the videos and recorded on any device over computer. All the lessons that use saying so far have actually been recorded by a positive of room. Is that all the videos that I've been recording so far? I've actually been quite small, usually less than one gigabyte, and that's in comparison to the free screen recording software that I'm going to show you right now. So the free route recording your screen would be used to use quick time in quick time. By default comes with your laptop computer. You have a Mac Mac Mac book pro, so if you go ahead and launch quick time player to miss going click, cancel quite a quick time player and then click on file took on new screen recording. You click on that by a countdown timer will start. We'll start recording tires. Three. Now I've uses before I got blue, and what is the down side is that it takes up a lot of space, especially if you're gonna make a fine just 3 to 5 minutes. Screen recording video. Quick time ticks. A lot of space in the screen recording what the positives are that it's free, and it's also very clear. These are very clear and crisp reporting. Compared to Alumindo, Bloom is Lou is about five bucks, and I do pay fine books and one just to get the pro version. So that 10 80 p HD recording bullets me. It's up to you whether you want to pay for a green recording software or you want to go there. Free wrap. Use quick time again. This frozen constant bulk of them. Court time is free. Bloom is not, though, takes up less space. What time takes up more space? What time is also clear, but little allows you to withdraw and only record certain parts of your screen. So if you want to pay Virgin, that's easier to start up and has a more intricate way of recording, which you want on your screen and go with Newman. But if you want a free virgin, all you care about is literally recording your entire screen. Go with quick time. Just remember that it takes up a lot of space, but it's also very clear 20. 20. How to Screenshot Your Screen: screenshots or something that I include and Poppy, the majority of Bill that included all my videos that have been created and in order to screenshot, I don't like screening screen shotting my entire screen. As you can see here, Perhaps I only want to screenshot. Maybe these two files, for some reason within my video. So what I would do? I don't know where it's a screenshot on any, no matter what Windows open or any browser or application is open. Oh yeah, there's click on command shift and four, and you'll see your cursor kind of changing toe a plus sign. And then what I want to do is I want to highlight over this and you'll hear on kind of a camera shop. And that means that your computer has successfully screenshot of that section of your screen. So this is a screenshot. It automatically goes to your desktop. Open it up and there was the screenshot. Now I always recommend renaming these screenshots as soon as you get them, because, innovator, if you will, do you plan on using screenshots a lot. It kind of gets confusing since they're all named screenshot and in the date So I started you screenshots something I recommend putting it toe respect the folder and naming it according So, if I were to actually use the screenshot, I would just open up my missus, The hard drive Goto Final cut floats Project Bureau Holder. Place this inside there. And I would just name this folders and then just delete this. There you go. That's how you screenshot a certain section of your computer. 21. 21. Adding Background Music: I'm gonna show you how to have background years wake and get music to be added to your video. So the point of background music is to supplement and prove the overall perceived value of your video. Now some of you want to make the best possible content as you possibly can, But honestly, the best way to make good content has toe let your viewers directed. Let them give you feedback regarding how your videos turnout. And if there's no comments regarding how your videos edited, then why spend more time editing it if you get your measures across? This especially comes into play. If you're creating a high quantity of videos, imagine if you put 110% into a video posted on YouTube, and then someone comments that they don't like it. That would be a real bummer. What in that? Get to the point where you're 80% happy with your video and then move on. This will save you a ton of time. So there you have it, everyone. And that's the 80 20 rule. Give your viewers that 80% of your video creation that contains the strong foundation, high engagement and the best of the best material. 23. 23. Export Settings: no. Last but not least, I'm gonna teach you how to export your project. So in order to do that, you're gonna click on file and highlight share and then click on master filed by default. So that's the progress it's at in terms of exporting and how much longer it's gonna take to complete the export process. So while we wait for this export, you'll know that you're export is done when you're Videophile actually enlarges and opens up automatically on your computer and you'll see what I mean. Here within a couple of seconds, he's just a couple more seconds and you'll see that it's almost 100% complete. And then once it's completely done exporting, see, There you go. It will automatically open up in quick time. And so there you have it.
