Final Cut Pro : Understand the Power of Final Cut Pro X

Final Cut Pro Installation : Video, you will learn how to have Final cut. Final cut is Mac only video letting software. If you want to use Final Cut Pro, in that case, you must have a Mac computer. One more thing you should know, and that is Final Cut is not a free software. If you want to use Final Cut Pro, you have to pay $300 But for learning purpose or any reason, you can download Final Cut Pro for free. In that case, you will have a trial 90 day period. Now I think you have two things. First one is a Mac Computer. Second one is a final card, No matter if it's a free version or paid version. If you have this, then you are good to go. Now if you want to download Final Cut Pro, or if you want to purchase Final Cut Pro, in that case you have to open your App store. You can see this is the App Store and here you need to write Search Final Card. If you hit Enter in that case, you can see right now I don't purchase Final Cut Pro. In that case it's showing me $300 But if in your case you already purchased in that case, you'll see it will be open or updated. So let's purchase Final Cut Pro and start our software. This is the basic interface for Final Cut Pro here, this full section is your media library. This is your preview monitor. This is your inspector area and this is your timeline area, Meaning if you want to import your videos images and also all audio, everything will be here. And if you want to change anything or if you want to customize anything, in that case you need to take help from the inspect option. And also this will be your project or timeline area, how you will able to cut the thing and also all things you will able to do from this project section. And here is the option for your transitions. If you want to add any transition in that case, you might see that maybe you will open your final cut proof for the first time. You may see this looks something like that or something like that. No matter what it is, it is the basic interface of Final Cut Pro. Next part, I will talk about how to import media on your final cut. 4. Importing Media to Final Cut Pro: First of all, I will click File and then New. And I'll click here. Library. Here, you need to place a library name what type of library you want. I'll write here video library will save. You can see right now it will save on your movies folder, but you can save any. What is your preference you can do. I will save the movies folder, no problem at all. And I will click, if I do. In that case you can see this is our video library. Now you can see here is a folder here. The date will be always the current date. You actually using this, I'll click here. Here. Also, I can change the direction. I'll write here video. Okay, now I can import my media. I will click here. Also if you select this, in that case all files will also copy on my video folder. So in that case, every file will have two times on your computer, right? In that case, definitely your stores will have a issue. So if you're collaborating in that case, you need to select this. Otherwise I recommend you to do that. Second thing is you can see here is option create optimized media, create Proximedia Why? It's important if you feel like you're working with high resolution videos and your computer is not working properly. In that case, you can use Proximedia if you do. In that case it will always show you a lower resolution. But when you export your video, in that case, it will go to the high resolution. If you feel your computer is slow, in that case, you can select or create Proximedia. On my case I will not do. In that case I will live as it is. The two things you should have taken care of. First one is where your file is and also if you need a Proximatea can do now, I'll click Import Selected. If I do, in that case you can see every images, videos, all of them are here. Now suppose you want to import more. In that case, what you need to do, you can see here is a button. If you click here, in that case you will see same import interface once more. And then you can import whatever unit. And if you don't need to import anything in that case you can simply click the cross button's first time if you want to import you will have a button here. But second time if you need to import anything in that case, you need to click this button. If you do, in that case you'll able to import whatever unit. 5. Viewing Media in the Browser: Now, I will show you how you can see your videos on media. You can see on my media library and I'm hovering, in that case, on your preview monitor, you will able to see the video, you can see. I'm hovering, it will show you your video. You can see, okay. If you want to see anything you can do lifetime. If you want to see how your video look like, you will able to do no problem or you will able to see no problem at all. Also, this is a audio. If you want to listen to the audio, you'll able to listen also the audio from here you can see this is a preview window, right? But if you want to change your preview, you can see right now it will show you the name and also start in position, media duration, everything. If you click here, in that case you'll have some other options. I'll click here. And then if I click from here by increasing or decreasing to increase or decrease the thumbnail size, okay? This is another thing, and that is if you want to reduce or increase thumbnail size, how much you want level to do. Suppose this is your third video. In that case, you can see right now you have a very good thumbnail view. You can see, sometimes it helps, but most of the time I prefer to do this so that it looks clutter. 6. Creating a Final Cut Pro Project: Let's create our project. If you want to create your project, you need to click here. If you do, in that case, this is your project size. But sometimes you will have an option for mono. Mono only for left side or only for right side. Sometimes people select mono without knowing what will happen. I recommend always you to select stereo. And if I click okay, in that case, it will show you the project timeline. Next video, I'll tell you how to edit your video and also how to work with it. 7. Editing in Final Cut Pro: I want that this should be our first video. Remember one thing, If you import all of your video here, it will not show anything or it will not create your video. But this is the time line and how you place your videos, audios and also other thing, that's all your video is, how you can edit your video. Right now I will teach you. First of all, I will import our first video. You can import your video many ways. First on, if you want to import your video, in that case you can select the video. You can simply put the video on your timeline. In that case, you can see right now my full video is here. You can see, You may think, I don't want to import full video. I just want to import from here. And I want to import the video here. Okay, so if you want to play a video in that case, you can click here. And if you press Spacebar on your keyboard, in that case your video will play. Suppose I want to import the video from this position. In that case, I will press on my keyboard. Now I want to let you know one thing and that is A, R, B. They are all your keyboard shortcut, meaning if you want to select your selection tool, in that case you have to press A. Or if you press A in that case, it will automatically select your select tool. If you press B, it will select your blade tool. Suppose I'll click here, so you can see right now it's blade tool. Editing Audio in Final Cut Pro: If you want to use your video on your Youtube channel, you must be careful how you import your audio. That isn't because if you download a audio from a random website and then you can use the audio on your video, in that case, definitely you will get a copyright issue. What I recommend, I recommend you to open your Youtube studio so you can see I'm logging to my Youtube studio, and if I come here, here is the option. You can see audio library, okay? Now what I will do, I want to increase the audio label, so what I can do, I can increase this, something like that. Now if you want to edit your audio properly, in that case, I recommend you to select this. Now if you want to create a project, in that case you can press comment. If you do, in that case it will open a pop up and now you can do whatever you need. If I tutorial Youtube selected the tutorial event, you can select your video and also frame rates and other thing. And if I press okay in that case it will create a new project for me. If you want to create a project, you press command in. If you want to create a event, you press option in. You already know if you want to increase or decrease the timeline, in that case you can press command. And if you press plus, in that case your timeline will have a zoom in. And if you press command minus, it will zoom out. And you can see I'm working with this timeline. If you press, in that case, it will play. If you press K, it will pause. If you press J in that case it will go backward. Sometimes it's very helpful. Sometimes you might want to work with a bigger view window. In that case you don't want to see this inspector area. In that case what you can do, you can press comment. And if you press four in that case it will hide. And if you press again comment four, it will break. If you press command five, in that case, this effect panel will come. And if you press command five, it will go. If you press command six, it will open color board. You can see right now it's open color board. Now if I press shift in that case, now my playhead will be in the top position or beginning position. Same way, if I want that, my playhead should be at the end of the clip. In that case, I will press shift if I do. In that case, right now, my playhead is here. Suppose I am here and I want that my playhead should be in the beginning. In that case, I will press shift, meaning initial. Suppose my playhead is here and I want that, it should be here. In that case, I will press shift. Now suppose you want to select your area. What actually I want to record, you can record entire screen or you can record a window of any of your software. I want to record the screen. First of all, I'll click this plus button. If you are a Windows user, you'll only see screen capture. I'll click here. If I do, in that case it will give you the name. So I can write here Monitor and then I'll click okay. If I click, you can see right now I have had two display and I can select anyone. Definitely, I will select this one. What you can see, okay, if you need to select another one, you can do. And also here is the option show cars or definitely. I want to show my cursor, otherwise it's very difficult you to see the things, right? So definitely it will be show cars. Then I'll hit, okay. If I do. In that case you can see right now I have here the monitor. If you want to increase or decrease the size, you can do no problem at all. You can resize your screen size and I recommend you to make it muted. Otherwise, it will record all system audio. Maybe you will have a notification, maybe Youtube video played in background or anything. It will record everything. I always make it muted. Now I need to record my audio, right. In that case, I'll click this Plas button once more. And from here you can see here is audio Input capture. I'll click here and then you can place your name. I'll right here. Or you can Leve as it is. So I'll click okay. From here I need to select the audio. You can see right now I have a default if you lab, it is default in that case, it will record the audio from your microphone. But if you have external microphone, in that case you can select external microphone. Okay. I'll lab as it is default. And then I'll hit. Okay. Right now you can see how and I'm speaking. It's also have some beep. I recommend you to play with it so that you have better audio. These two things I need to set up, First thing I need to capture the screen, second thing I need to capture the audio. Second thing is I need to go to settings Here, You see I have output setting I recommend you to select here. It should be simple. You can see this is the video bitrate, and for me, it's actually 45,000 KPPs. The bigger your size is, your video quality will be bigger. So based on your requirement, you can place it. But I think 45,000 is a good number or a good sweet spot. Many people recommend it to 60,000 but I think 45,000 is good enough. Second thing is audio betrit, I recommend you to set up it. 192. Why that isn't? Because in you will upload a video on Youtube. In that case, Tube will encode your audio to 192 KPS. Jen record your audio in 192 KPS. In that case, Utube will not encode your audio. So the way you listen your audio on your computer, you will also listen the same volume on Youtube or any platform. So I recommend you to use this. 192, Okay. This is the video encoder you can leave as it is or default one. And here is the option, however you want to save your audio recording format. I recommend you to do with Pi four. And your video will support every video eating software, so I recommend you to use this Pi four. Okay. And rest of the things can be okay. No problem at all. Here is a audio, and you don't need to change anything. Here is a video, it's important. Base resolution is ten ATP. You can see my skin is ten TP, so it's actually ten ETP, and the output is also ten ETP. In your case, it may be something like that. I recommend you to select this. Okay? So I recommend you to select based on units. If you have a five K monitor, in that case, you can also select or change the resolution based on units. I like to record everything in 30 PS. This is the 30 PS. But if in your case you want to play with it, you can do 30 PS is good enough. Another thing, and that is most important, that is advanced. If you come here by default, BS will change your color range to limited, but I recommend you to select full. Otherwise, you will see everything is a bit faded. Okay. Definitely.
