About This Class

Hello everyone! Welcome to my Fashion Photography Class.

My name is Rishabh & I have been doing photography since last 10 years. In these 10 years, I have shot everything from products, people, weddings & fashion. And in this class, I'm going to teach you how to do fashion photography using absolutely no high-end lights or equipment (and thus, saving thousands of dollars in the process)

What makes this class unique?

Good question. While there are many other fashion photography classes all across the internet, what sets this one apart is that I don't force you to buy any high end equipment or lighting setup to be able to create a high end fashion campaign shoot. You have an idea in your mind? I teach you to shoot it using the biggest source of light in the universe - The Sun!

1. Intro To The Class: Hi everyone and welcome to my photography course. My name is Rishabh & I have been doing photography since last many years. In these years, I have shot everything from product to people, to weddings, and to fashion. In this course, I'm gonna teach you how to carry out fashion photography campaign. There are many available courses on the subject of cash in photography already. Why this course you ask good question. In this course, my objective is to teach you how to carry out a fashion photography campaign without investing thousands of dollars in equipment, lighting, and all that stuff. By the end of this course, you'll be able to carry out your own passion photography campaign at any location by just using natural light. No fancy equipments, no fancy lights, nothing. That's an approach developed or unattainable. And the reason for that is when I started photography, I did not have any of those fancy equipment, expensive lights and all that stuff. I just had a camera and a vision in my mind. And that's how I profess them equally. That's exactly how I'm gonna teach you in this course. We are going to be at the location without any fancy lights and equipments, will be utilizing everything from the landscape with the sunlight. As it is. We will not change any of those variables. And I'll teach you how to carry out everything successfully, not changing anything at all. So without further ado, let's start the class. 2. Look 1 with Olga: Before we start, let me set some context about why we chose this specific place for our shoot. This place was looking very beautiful pictures and you were searching about the actual shoot our class. And secondly, there was still some snow left this place. And I really wanted to give that smoothing effect in my shoot for this time. We just looked this place and I think this was around 50 to 80 kilometers from the city. So we pack everything in our God. And I think we drove around five to six hours to meet his place. And by the time we reach there, it was already late often, we had a decision to make that either we can shoot now or you can shoot the day after, which was pursuit in the morning of the next day, because if we had decided to shoot in the evening, he would, would've got very less time in very less light left. And since this class was all about shooting in natural light, so we decided that it's better that we choose the next morning, Stein, also, because when your team is traveling for six to eight hours, it's really hard for them to stay fresh, sharp for the shoot and especially for the talent, for the models to be really energetic at that time. As a photographer or as a producer of the shoot, you have to take on these human factors into account, especially when deciding the time of your shoot. So this is the context I wanted to just set before the class. Let's start the class now and I'll be there explaining everything, why we did and what decisions we made along the way. But let's see how we did everything. Having this way. Yes. We can. That will bring new model from this side. So the thrombus side to get a shoot from that model would be coming from there. Later for satellite. A nice dip. We are doing this because we weren't depth as well as light, which is at an angle. So it gives a dramatic effect. Yes, yes, it'd be like, but it is difficult for model will be very difficult. But it was all about commodities. What we're doing here is something called essa Becky, Nikki is defined as the garden, the location before the shoot, understanding all the permutations and combinations and all the natural effects that can help or hinder your shrimp. In this lucky, we are trying to understand how the snow is, how the light is, and how they're going to actually perform. The sheep. Know is welcome. Welcome. Economic. Few days before it was almost 0 degree. More IC. Thank you. You can stand on this. Once you are confident that they know what you're gonna do, it's really important to communicate same things for the talent or the mornings so that all of us are on the same page. All of us know exactly what's going to work, how it's going to work, and what are the things that we should be avoiding? The fifth talent? And your model knows what you are thinking off the job is already done. What we'll do is we have this light coming as in this direction. And there we have depth of the forest. Great place. You're somewhere in the middle so that the light is at an angle and we had the depth of the forest. And then we can click the nice thing. Now meant island and models are gearing up for the location. Since I've told them already what is the condition outside? They're mentally prepared, and although they are kind of falling, they are enjoying the process. And this just asked you the energy of the whole theme of the whole shoot. So once the mortar is at the place or the location of the shoot, it's important to make her uncomfortable. By all means you can write that once she's there, she has the confidence to give you all the poses on the expression's and everything that would make what a good photo. Happy that the model was there. We just started to shoot and we made sure that we made the full use of the sunlight that people are getting. And the model was giving us all the different borders and even also roaming around trying to get different angles and not letting the model moves so much because it was difficult for her to move. I'm shooting for the first step is done. Not are not are you feeling cold? Yes. Feeling cold? Yes. Yes. Nora has been helping us with the blogging and we're almost done with the first look. I was walking in the snow. You feel like your work, do you feel like you'd like to have shoes for you? It's fine. I'm looking at even kill him, call you. It's not feeling cold steel or you'll look on home-based. Now, let me show you one other picture certainly got before you get all happy and all excited about how the short rent, it's very important for you to make sure that your talent, your team, your models, everyone who's involved, goes back to the safe place where they started from. Closing of the shoot always happens only after your team, you're modeling your talent. Everyone is back to the home. This part, although it looks like it's useless. But this is a very important thing that you have to make sure as a photographer, as a manager or a producer who was getting out the whole shoot. This was the end for the first look, nothing short. I'll be adding more and more shirts have been dead on the same place in this classes. And soon they'll then, I hope this was useful. I'll see you in the next one. 3. Look 2 with Asya: Hi and welcome back to the second episode of this course. In this one, we're gonna shoot are another beautiful model. Her name is Alicia. And we're going to give her different clothes, are different vibe, but in the same location. So let's see how we do it. Begins by taking our CRC flee to the shoot location, which we have recorded already, like the last episode. And we know where exactly to place our model. Clearly assays, having a lot of fun. The assume towards the light so that the light comes on the face. And also the fabric looks nicer and shines. And then making her borders use both hands. In these shorts. What I'm doing is I have placed Ostia at a spot where I am getting the background of the trees, which is in contrast with the color of the plot that she's wearing. And also a very important thing that the sunlight is falling right in her face and her body at an angle. That's creating a very dramatic look. And it's also creating a separation because the contrast of her skin is different with respect to the contrast that is in the background. The background is dark and green and moody. And she herself is well, it just with the use of the sun's light. I'm not using any kind of reflector or artificial light in this shoot at all, like I explained you in the introduction video, this is all about using only the nature, the landscape, and the natural sunlight to walk her for that the body is in a natural position and you walk and what is not to lead in this theory tradition. And you're not acting and you're actually beautiful modern worker bees. Us. If you have to walk, it's not like this. Here. What I'm doing is I'm altering my camera's height by going up or ducking down so that I can get a different kind of angle for each shot. One important thing, when you duck down and put your camera at a higher angle, you just reduce the things that are close to the ground. If you have anything that's not desirable, which is close to the ground, are very important. Hack is to just ducked down and keep your camera at an angle. This way, it will just remove all the background clutter and create a very minimalistic looking and very been looking forward for you. Once we were done with that location and I think we bought some really good shots. He moved to another location which was just address into that. But the whole look changed. Son was facing in the back. The reason we have chosen displaces the red in the background looks very good against the black, which the blood is after pellet. Which is why do you have what I see in here and we are making that claim, then this point of view, I can also make a frame that is green in the background or black because of his head. And I can also make a frame which is red in the bathroom. But let's do it. Senior position from that side, this side, because the sun is coming here. And if I put the sun in my frame will give me two things. One is the backlight and one is a clear. Let's see how that works. In this flare as well. And bank-like. Here, I changed the sun from being a friend light backlit, which means I changed to a position of my model so that she's not facing the sun directly, but the sun is behind her. Dark changed the look of the four book completely. Because the sun is acting now as a backlight and stood up, just a key light. Also in the background, I find a lot more interesting elements in this location like this. This will last second look and now let's see the kind of photos that we've got in this one. I was very, very good. Awesome. Thank you so much for watching this one. I hope you learn things which are useful and you can create your own short in a similar fashion. I will see you in the next one. 4. Look 3 with Norah: I said good sticks. So that's the beautiful element of smoke coming out of. And we can have an interesting photo changing the frame for Norah so that in this pain she looks like a loan in a forest full of snow and she's coming out of that. This is a frame. We have a second input. I've done with whatever we have done with Olga and Norah.
