1. Intro: You set up your EtS shop, listed your products, and waited, but the sales are not coming in. You're wondering, why can't anyone find my shop? What am I doing wrong? The truth is EtS is a search engine kind of like Google. And if your listings are not optimized with the right keywords, right SEO strategies, your shop is practically invisible, but don't worry because you were in the right place. Welcome to the Its SEO Keywords course, where I'll teach you exactly how to rank higher, get better view and finally start to make consistent sales on EtS. By the end of this course, you'll know exactly how to find the best keywords Its shoppers are searching for. Write tags, titles and descriptions that boost your ranking. Use Its's algorithm to your advantage and increase sales. Avoid common ISSEO mistakes that are keeping you stuck on page ten. Hello, everyone. I'm Sugam, your Its consultant and guide for this course. I specialize in helping Etsy sellers optimize their SEO, improve their ranking, and creating sales strategies that actually work. With my experience of working over 50 Etsy stores, I know what it takes to make a store succeed, and I know what holds it back. Let's get started and make your shop impossible to ignore. 2. Without this SEO will NOT work: Before going into the tags and titles, I'd like to draw your attention towards some extra things that you need to focus on to rank your shop higher. If you're lacking in these extra things, no amount of tags or titles are going to save you. First is going to be this tab of its search visibility. Let's hop on here. It's the search visibility. For this particular store, everything is proper. But we'll talk about this one. This is one of my clients stores, and if you see you go to the shop manager, it's the search visibility, and it will tell you some things that you need to work on. For example, some of the listings here have dark photos, so you just click on View listing and fix the photos if you can now this is pretty self explanatory, but let's talk about something else that really screws over most people's stores, your customer service statistics. This store is a star seller. Let's talk about this store. Which is just meeting the standards. Now, what are the rankings here? Let's discuss on Dad. Let's touch upon dad a little bit. There is stellar service, which you get when you are a star seller, you're meeting all their criteria like message response rate, all of your parcels are all of your parcel have proper tracking numbers. Your average review rating is 4.8 or higher. Your case rate is low. And we'll discuss them one by one and what tips did I have. For example, this is their service standards. Make note of this and follow them as much as you can. The easiest to follow is message response rate. You just reply to 95% of the first messages within 24 hours. And if for some reason you're not available, you can set up auto message as well, and I'll show you how to do it. Messages and auto reply, weekly auto reply. This way, you can set up an auto reply for every Saturday or Sunday. If a customer will message you on Saturday or Sunday, you will receive an auto reply that you are not available, and it will still count for your star seller rating. So you don't have to be on your phone 247, right? So you can just turn it on and what are your normal business hours? I'm only available from Monday to Friday, so you select Monday to Friday and you select the Rs. Here you enter your proper working hours when you will be available to reply on at C, whenever a customer messages you outside these R, they will receive an auto reply. You just enter your Rs, save it and this auto reply message is good enough, I think. Let's cancel it and let's discuss the next thing. That is on time shipping and tracking. Again, pretty self explanatory. All your parcels, all your national and international orders need proper tracking numbers. Earlier, I used to have a career partner that did not give me any tracking number because they were cheaper. I hurt my rating in the long run, and I will show you what happens when your rating is hurt. Next up is the average review rating. This is the single worst thing here which screws, which can genuinely screw over your store. And I'll talk about how you can improve that. Next up is the case rate. This again is pretty self explanatory. Don't let Its refund your orders. If there is something genuine about the customer's complaint, refund it yourself rather than them having to go through Is because this paints a very bad picture of you to Is let's discuss the average review rating. For this particular store, when you have reviews of about, I think, ten to 40 reviews in three months, no more than four reviews should have a rating of three or lower. I think it's pretty harsh. It's very strict. For example, if you see I have three ratings over here, one, one star, 12 star, and 13 star. So I get two more reviews and my shop is bumped down. Now, before getting into how to get better reviews, I'm assuming your product is of good quality and good standards. If it's not, then I hope you are able to improve your I hope you're able to improve your suppliers and your product quality up to the market standards. Now, my first tip to improve your reviews is whether you should ask for reviews or not. If you're genuinely confident about the quality of your product, then please go ahead and ask for reviews. But if, let's say a print on demand seller, a drop shipper, and you're not really confident about the quality of your product, do not go around looking for trouble and do not ask for reviews because dad can backfire. For example, it backfired in my case. Now my second tip is, if you are asking for reviews, how you should do it. Earlier, I had a huge message. It was like a two to three paragraph message that I used to send people, and it said the gist of it was, if you have any problem with the product, please let me know. I'll solve it. I'll solve all your troubles and it backfired. People messaged me with such tiny problems that I could not solve it, and I could not issue refunds for those. Ultimately, I ended up receiving more negative reviews than positive reviews. So if you are asking for reviews, be straight with it. Just tell them if you like our product, please award us a five star review. Thank you, and that's it. No need to go fancy, no need to do anything else. Just two to three line message, simple message, again, only if you're confident in the quality of your product. Also one small tip regarding the on time shipping and tracking. Parcels need to ship out on time. If your actual production time is three days, set up your shipping policy to reflect the production time to be three to five days. Give yourself a couple of grace days so that when you're sick when you're out somewhere, when you're running errands or anything like that, you can delay your order by a day or two, and you will still be on time. Also, one thing that I forgot mentioning earlier is when we are talking about the star seller rating your customer service statistics, I think you need to know what the rankings are. So if you just hover your mouse over the question mark, you see what the rankings are. First is your star seller, the stellar service, you meet all their service standards. Second is grade service. You're meeting maybe two of their standards, two of their service standards by which on time shipping and tracking is super easy message response rate, no seller should have less than 100% message response rate. And next up is meeting standards. Next up, when I say next means the lower ranking is meeting standards. That's when it's evil not sabotage your store. Lower than DA is room to improve. When you get room to improve, your sales will plummet. And when I say plummet, I really, really mean plummet. Let's see what happens when you get the room to improve. This shop is meeting the standards right now, but a few months back, we did not meet the standards, and let's see what happens because of DAT. You go to the dashboard, you go to the detailed statistics. Now, as an example of what happens when you stop meeting their service standards. I joined this store around April. In April, I joined the store and I started working towards SEO and better listings and overall consultation. And we grew this store from $318 in sales for April 2024 to September 2000 $242 a month. This is fantastic growth, almost nine times growth. This is insane. This is fantastic growth, right? But in October in October, it was still about $2,000, which was natural. Your graph cannot only go up, it will go sideways sometimes, which is absolutely fine. But in November 1, we got the dreaded message that our shop is no longer meeting their service standards because we lagged because we did not properly reply to messages on time and some of our orders were not being shipped on time and we received a couple of negative reviews. So ultimately, we were not meeting the standards. Now let's see what happens here. $2,000 and boom, November 11 95, almost 40 to 45% drop right here. And November and December are supposed to be the highest months in a year. But here, they are the lowest. October and November 11 95, December 12 45, what we had anticipated was November and December to be touching $2,500. And this is not even 50% of dat. This is almost 50% of that. And only in February were we able to escape the hell Dad's customer service dads. And $1,600 in March so far has been 13 $59. It's still growing. What happens with customer service tags is when you receive a strike or something like that, your store is plummeted immediately. But when you regain your ranking, it takes their sweet time to get you to rank again. That's why I'm saying, focus on this thing that is here and do not let your shop get any customer service tag problems. Keep your customer service in check, keep your message response rate in check, keep things in check. 3. Better Etsy store for higher rank: Step for SEO is just go to your profile and make sure everything is filled up. Like, you should have a shop title. Shop title is what appears on Google and helps your Google SEO. Make sure a shop title is filled up. You will just see an Edit shop button here and click on it and edit these little things. The shop title, the location should be proper. The location should be where you ship your orders from. And shop announcement should be filled up. Shop announcement should have some SEO keywords in there as well. Not just shipping information, but some SO keywords in there because it uses it to rank your shop. Now, you scroll down here we come to the most important thing, and no one really talks about it. Shop section names. These names should be optimized for SU, because that way, its knows what the listing is exactly, and they rank it better. For example, it says mom gift. Which is good. It says home decor, which, again, is okay. It says phone cases, which is fine. What they can do here, for example, it says phone cases, make it more personal. Most of these are customized and personal phone cases, personalized phone cases. So just write personalized phone cases, and all of these listings will rank better on personalized phone cases tag. Be more descriptive when you're creating the shop section names. Now you scroll down, you scroll down down down, and you get to about us. Writer about us, this is a decent one like two to three paragraph, easily readable. Include your keywords here as well. Key product keywords or what you sell. For example, you sell T shirts, include the word T shirts in the shirt should be included here. And the type of t shirts you sell, for example, cotton T shirts, printed t shirts, profession t shirts, for example, doctor shirts, nurse shirts and things like that, include that here as well in one of the lines. Shop policy. This is unacceptable. Your shop policies should always be filled up because if they are not, you're just asking for trouble. You just go into your shop manager settings, policy settings and just create a policy or whether you accept returns or not, whether you accept exchanges or not, because people do not like these things to be a surprise. And again, if you have not filled up your shop policies yet, it's not rank your store anywhere. Also, I wanted to make note of this that whether you accept returns or exchanges does not impact our shop ranking in any way, shape, or form. I wanted to make note of something here, whether you exchange returns, I wanted to make note of something here, whether you exchange the products or accept returns, it does not impact your ranking in any way. It does not care whether you accept cancellations or not, be honest here, whether you accept returns or not, but this needs to be filled up, is what I'm saying. Also, one small thing that I forgot to mention. Whenever you're crafting your shop announcement or the about us, make sure your opening line has your shop keywords. So it knows what your shop is about. Don't bury keywords somewhere here in the end or somewhere right in the middle or something. It should be what you start about us and shop announcement with. Maybe not the first words, but somewhere here in the second line, somewhere in the third line or something like that. That way it knows that it's your priority. Also, your shop section name should be complete keywords. Again, I think we have discussed it. For example, let's say it's a T shirt store. So don't just write the word Ts, right? T shirts properly. Because I don't think people are searching for TWSTs. So it's not good for SEO. And I saw an example of a T shirt, apparel company, which sold only T shirts. What they did was they had all these categories here of t shirts, first mom, dad, love, doctor nurse and all those, but they did not write the proper keyword there like doctor T shirt, mom shirt, and things like that. That's what you have to do to rank on it, see. It's a small thing. It doesn't make a night and day difference, but it will get you on your way to a higher ranking. Now let's talk about the free shipping. In my personal experience, I think I'm torn here. It does say that with free shipping, you rank higher, and I don't think that's true. I don't think the opposite is true either. I don't think listings with shipping rank higher than free shipping. I think it's a non issue. It's a non factor. No one cares unless your product is expensive. Expensive products expensive products should not have shipping attached to them. But if you're selling a product that is under $30, $20, you can easily have shipping, and I don't think your rank will be affected by that. You can do some testing. For example, have ten days of free shipping and then ten days including shipping. No, have ten days of free shipping and ten days you charge shipping and you'll get your answer. The only reason I'm confused is with some of my clients, their sales increased. When I introduce shipping for some clients, nothing happened. It was weird is all I'm saying. However, free shipping guarantee needs to be applied. I'll show you how. You just go into your settings, shipping settings and click on US free shipping guarantee. You only need to guarantee US free shipping and just click here, I have already applied the guarantee. So you can also offer upgrades. However, I think that does nothing for your REO. You can offer. So every time your product is above $35, people get free shipping by default. In the US, not international, but US people get free shipping, which is okay, I think. It's pretty fair. Include the shipping in your price. If it's not much of a hassle. You need to experiment with it because every niche is different and I cannot make a blanket statement here, like, please go with free shipping or not. It is for you to decide and what other people are doing in your particular niche. It's different for every niche. Next thing I'd like to talk about is your categories and attributes should be filled up. So whenever you're editing a listing, just scroll down. Ultimately, I wants you to use and be as descriptive as possible about your product. So if you scroll down the details, pick the proper category, select all the attributes that apply to your listing. Don't go random with it. Don't go random with it or anything like that, but fill up all the things that you can that apply to your listing, and your listing ideally should rank higher because of that. Product description nowadays is counted for its CSO. However, I'd say, do not worry about it too much. It's a rabbit hole. That no seller should get sugged into. Just write a decent 200 word description and get on with it. Make sure your proper keywords are included in there. You can take help of chat GPT for this. It's pretty easy. Just write a prompt saying, write a product description for yada yada yada product, and it will easily write a description for you. 4. Basic Tips for writing Tags and Titles: Now we move on to the best part of this course, and that is the tags and titles and how you can conduct your tags and title research for absolutely free and how I do it personally. If you don't follow the previous steps, no amount of tags or titles are going to save you. So follow the previous steps properly. First, let's talk about the length of the title. Its says that the length of the title should be shorter. However, in my personal experience and I have five years of experience with EtS and over 50 different clients, make your title as long as possible, as long as they allow you to shove as many keywords as you can, separate it using a line and some graphics or something like that, some other character. But use as many keywords as you can, as many relevant keywords as you can. Fill your title up with variety of keywords. Don't just keep repeating the exact same word again and again because that is a waste of valuable space. Let's talk about tags. Don't put one word tags. For example, T shirt as a tag is stupid. It's terrible. Maybe it's what type of t shirt it is? Maybe it is an Army t shirt, so you can put Army T shirt as a tag. Multi word tags and multiword keywords work best on C. Use synonymous words, wall art, posters, prints. These three are the same thing that people used to describe wall arts and wall posters. So use all the keywords as different tags and use all the words in title as well. We'll talk about it in detail. Don't go anywhere. 5. Free Tool for Keyword Research: Now let's talk about how you can find keywords for absolutely free using Aura. As of now, earlier, I used to use ERRANC but ERANC is paid now. ERNG doesn't have that many free keywords at this point. Now I'm using Aura, and I'm very happy with the software. Let's jump in and let's see what we can do using. The website is Aura dot IO. You just sign in. Now, you go into Allora and you go into research, you go into keyword. And let's say I'm looking for keywords. Now, let's say I'm looking for Mugs. So Mug Enter. They will let you have similar keywords here, top listings, and the data. If you click on any of these listings, they will have a listing report on how much revenue this particular listing has generated over 12 months, sales. You can copy their listings. You can copy the titles from those listings as well. If you click on it, it opens in a new tab. You can copy their titles as a thing. Now, if you enter mug here, it says over 500,000 searches, similar keywords. Yet, coffee cup, ya cups, swi cup, mug, custom, travel mug, travel mug. It's a fantastic keyword for most mugs, tumbler custom plastic. Now, as far as free versions go, you don't get that many keywords, but then you can narrow it down as well. D is the best part. For example, for example open up a notepad and create a list. For example, mug, custom, travel Mug. So for example, let's update the keyword to travel mug here. These are all the keywords that you can use in your listings as well. Be more specific. Start by general keywords like Mug, and then move into more specific keywords to your listing. And I'll teach you how to use it in detail when I do the SEO for listings here. Next step is front load the keywords in your title. Let's understand SEO even better. I'll pick five different listings and finish the SEO for them, the tags, and the titles so you understand my workflow better, and let's get started. 6. Keyword Research and SEO for 5 listings: Now, this is going to be a first listing for SEO. It just says Dandelion, embroidered Journal. Let's see. Even the spelling of Dandelion is wrong. So we'll go ahead and fix that first. Dandelion Journal, open up a notepad, Dandelion embroidered journal. What is the synonym of journal, Notebook. So notebook. Dandelion embroidered Journal Notebook. Now let's go to Allora first and search for some tags that we can use. Just search for notebook, and that's it. Now, when you search for notebook, it's giving these terrible tags. You need to be able to filter them out because you can only expect so much for free to be very honest here. It's bad, honestly. Now, if the general tags are not working, go a little specific. So enter Journal notebook. Let's see if that improves things here. So if your general keyword, a keyword such as Notebook is not working, go specific when we wrote journal notebook. So notebook with custom pages. We can't use it. Leather notebook. We can't use it personalized. This particular listing is not personalized. Wound leather leather. It is embroidered, and it is just embroidered. Embossed Traveler's Notebook. This can be a fantastic Travelers notebook. You just click on it. If you click on a keyword, it will be expanded here. This way we can enter a rabbit hole of keywords. Travelers notebook, you copy it, you paste it here, paste it in separate line. This is our title so far. Traveler's Notebook is one of the keywords that we can use. Meanwhile, let them search and we'll look for other keywords. Journal notebook in itself is a good keyword. So let's write Journal Notebook and describe it Dandelion notebook. So Dandelion notebook, comma, embroidered notebook. So far, we have one, two, three, four, four keywords, four tags, and this is our title so far. Let's look for other words as well. Travel journal. We can use that as a travel journal as well. So we're already using Travelers Notebook. Let's use Travel Journal. Now to separate the title, what we can do here is insert the line. You shift and this particular character, which will be on your keyboard. And now the later half, the later part of the title, which is travel Travel journal. Let's look for more keywords. Passport notebook does not apply. Travel notebook already written. Now let's look for our next keyword that is going to be handmade notebook because that is a popular one. Handmade as a keyword in itself is very versatile and can be used pretty much with any handmade product, which as we can see, this product is clearly handmade. So write it here. Handmade Travel journal. So if anyone searches for handmade Travel journal, our product will show up. Also, what happens with ETS is if someone searches for handmade notebook, even if they're not written in sequence, our product will still show up. If someone just for handmade journal, our product will still show up. Keywords are nested together on Etc, so don't worry about the placement of the keyword. Just make sure it looks professional and it looks perfect. But the title is not big enough. Make the title bigger and add more keywords in there. Now we have entered handmade notebook here, and if you go through the similar keywords, handmade gifts, Handmade gift as a keyword is still good, so let's enter it. Handmade gift handmade gift, handmade journal. Have you written handmade Journal here? No, so handmade journal. These are the keywords that we're going to use in the title and in the tags. Eco friendly notebook, eco friendly. Look at the graph. Eco friendly notebooks. It has 1,600 say searches a month. It's good enough, I think, as a tag, eco friendly notebooks. So let's write eco friendly notebook. Journal stays another character, eco friendly notebook. Eco friendly notebook. Now, this is just 89 characters so far. We want at least 130 something characters, so we still have a lot of space, a lot of space to cover. Now, handcrafted journal, travel journal, leather journal, eco friendly journal. This is a dual thing. For example, eco friendly notebook and journal. You can use both words interchangeably and you should use both the words here because it's synonymous. Some people call it journals. Some people call it notebook. Now let's look for Dandelion notebook, just to see if something pops up or not. Nature journal. It has insane amount of searches. It is insane, so let's book nature journal. Nature journal. So it is handmade nature travel journal. Cute notebook. I think that can be used here. So let's go with cute. And in the tags as well, cube journal You tags should be less than 20 characters. Please make sure of that. If you select that, it is 18 characters. If you select this one, it is exact 20 characters, you select this 18 characters, journal notebook, 16 characters, and so on and so forth. Flower journal. Good tag. Eco friendly flower notebook. Also, you can write another word for flower that is floral nature travel cute floral journal. Now this listing will rank for handmade journal, nature journal, travel journal, cube journal, floral journal, floral notebook, eco friendly journal. These singular keywords are nested together on it. Don't think about the phrasing too much. Can have some bit of keyword stuffing in there, but they are all relevant keywords to our listing. Also, whenever you're writing tags, write it exactly how people are going to search for it. For example, if I go on Et S, I'm not going to look for notebook Dandelion. I will search for Dandelion notebook. I'll look for embroidered notebook. I'll look for travelers notebook. I won't look for notebook travelers. So keep actual phrasing in mind whenever you're writing the tags. So far, we have 12 keywords. 13 is the limit for her gift. Gifting tags are important, especially if you're selling a product that can be used as a gift, gifting tags are super important. So we'll write gift for her. What you can do is conduct a gifting keyword research here as well. Look at that nature over gift. Fantastic tag here. So enter it. Our gift. Now, if you look for it, it is 142 characters now a little above remove nature from here. It's getting repetitive, and now it's 135. Perfect length for a title, and we have 13 tags as well. Also another tip that is definitely going to help you is if you have written the tags in this format, you just copy it when you're separating using commas, paste it here, and everything adds up. This is helpful when you're adding 200 to 300 products of the same nature where gift for her or something like that will be added to all the listing. Pretty notebook will be added to all the listing. Travel journal may be added to all the listings. Those write specific keywords first. Less relevant keywords later. For example, if you notice in the title, Dandelion embroidered Journal Notebook. So Dandelion notebook, embroidered notebook, Dandelion Journal. Dandelion is our hero keyword here. So that is definitely how we lead the listing. Next up, we'll go to the handmade travel cute, floral, and we'll slowly go to the generic keywords now. Let's repeat this exercise on another listing so we can understand better. Let's look for the next listing, a different niche this time, and this time, I'll use another trick to find keywords. Now let's look at the second listing. This listing already has a proper title. But I think there can be many improvements made to this particular title. You scroll down, and for all the listings, whenever you see the explore related searches, these are the keywords. These are the tags that the listing has used. So ceramic coffee cup is a tag, Dad mug is a tag, gift for dad, dad Bird day gift, funny gift for him, mug for coffee and gift for him. These are the tags, and this is the title. So let's get started. First up, let's copy at least the title here. I erased the previous one. And this is 129 characters, which is fine. Let's get started. If you go into this and Dad mug. So with Allora, you have to be a little specific keywords. You cannot just enter generic keywords. You start with generic keywords and then end up entering your specific keywords. So it says Father's Day Coffee mug. It has 1,000 search volumes a month. Decent tag. Click on it so it expands Father's Day Coffee mug. So now let's look for keywords for Dad Mug it says, Father's Day, coffee mug. Click on it. We have expanded it. Father's Day photo mug. It's not a photo mug, really. Custom dad mug, it's not a custom. You can also write Superman mug or something like that. Father's Day. Now, Dad coffee mug, best dad coffee mug. That can be used as well. Best dad Coffee, because we're dealing with bigger keywords, so we are writing keywords separately, then we will create tags and titles from scratch, just so things are better. Just so I can make you understand it better how tags and titles are framed. Best dad mug. Best dad mug. Write the keywords that you think relevant and can be used. Now, it says Father's Day coffee mug. So coffee mug, funny, I don't think it counts as funny, to be honest. Gift for dad. Gift for Dad. Use it as you may and click on it so it expands Mugs for Dad. Superb Mugs for Dad. Gift from daughter. This can be used here, gift from daughter gift from sn. Now, how am I selecting tags first thing is relevance, whether dad particular tag is related to our listing in any way. Second thing I'm looking at is search volume. I'm not looking at this score that they are giving the tag because I do not personally care about the score. I care more about the search volume. I care about this number, the sales number, but primarily search volume. The particular tag should have good enough search volume. Gift for dad. Now we're expanding on the gift for dad. Best dad ever gift. And now I think Aura's job is done. I can still use Aura because I can still expand on multiple keywords, but I want to show you something else. Search for the most relevant keywords here, Super Dad Because it's a play on Superman, so we'll search for Super Dad mug, because I'm sure other people have made it. Best dad ever it is fine. Okay. Best dad ever. You borrow your keywords from people's listings. Dad is another option. Dad is the second option. Other than Allora, I think it works fantastic for the most part because best dad ever mark, dad coffeemuk Father's Day gift, best present for men. I think we can use it as best present for dad rather than men. However, I think best present for men fits better because it's more diverse. It's a synonym, I think. Gift for dad, best daddy ever. These are all popular popular listing. Because they're on the first page, best daddy ever. Now, you scroll down and look for the tags, explore related searches. These are the tags that this listing has used. Coffee mug for a new dad. Look at how niche and specific this is because it is niche and it is specific. This will have limited competition. But ultimately, you will be able to rank your listing on tanks like this, coffee mug for new dad, mug for dad, a mug for a dad. You don't have to do keywords like this, mug for dad, a mug for a dad. I think it's bad idea. Best dad mug, best dad, ever mug. Don't use keywords like this separately. If you can use one keyword like best dad, ever mug, this keyword will rank you for Best dad mug, as well. You don't have to write these things separately. Now this is personalized, but I think this will have enough keywords for us to use. Let's look for tags because the title is not useful to us. This will take some time. You will have to open up at least ten different listings to get more and more keywords. Sometimes what happens is I don't even have to use Allora to get keywords for my client's listings because I can use other people's listings to get keywords. Now, let's fix the title first. Superdad. No one is searching for Superdad. So what we can do is we can write Father's Day. I they mug for dad separator. Now, it says, Father's Day mug for dad, superdad ceramic coffee cups, remove the S. Perfect gift for Father's Day. Birthdays, it is not a birthday like dad. Holidays, no, it's not. It's not home office. Unique gift for dad is still a good tag, so I'll let it slide here. Best dad. Because this listing will now rank for Best dad mug. Always keep your eye out for keywords and nest as many of them as you can. Gift for dad, mugs for dad. Now, shove another keyword in there. It's a unique gift for dad, but we have dad dad birthday gift. So unique gift for dad birthday or best dad ever gift. So unique gift for best ever dad. You can go for anything. I'm going to go because I've already written the word best here, I'm going to go for Dad birthday gift. Unique gift for dad birthday. And I think now the title is complete. Yes, it is 136 characters. It's perfect. As for tags. What do you need to keep in mind relating to tags is repeat the entire title in tags in this particular format, 20 keywords, in a way that people might search for it. I'll show you how. Again, it says Father's Day mug for Dad, so right Father's Day mug. Fine. Now it says mug for dad. So now you just wrote Father's Day mug and Mug for Dad as two separate tags and entitled The together because that's only how you can write it by keeping it under 20 keywords. Now you write Best Dad ug. Best Dad mug. Super Dad mug. Again, no one is searching for Superadmug so you can even avoid using such a keyword. But I'll write it in hope that someone might search for it. Ceramic Coffee Cup. Ceramic coffee cup, perfect gift for Father's Day. I think perfect gift as a keyword is not good enough. I just realized it perfect gift doesn't exist, and as a keyword is not good enough. So we can replace perfect gift. From something else. Best Super dad ceramic coffee cup, gift for Father's Day, 128 characters from daughter. Let's see if this works. 142 characters. Whenever you're only short of one to two characters, you can remove the separators and use a comma. It looks less professional, but it can get the job done for you. 140 characters, exactly. That's how we want it. You don't even need to write 11 ounces and 15 ounces in the title. You can add it to the listing image or the listing stats. Don't add it to the description because people don't really read its descriptions anymore. Title is complete. Let's move on to tags again. Father's Day Mug mug for dad, best dad mug, super dad mug, ceramic coffee cup, gift for Father's Day. So right, Father's Day gift and gift from gift from daughter. Unique Unique gift dada dad birthday gift. You write your tags in a way that people might search for it. People are not going to search for gift birthday, dad. People are searching for dad birthday gift, Father's Day mug, not mug day fathers or something stupid. Continue. Now use the keywords that you have written. Dad gift ideas, fantastic keyword. You can also write gift from sun here, sun present for men, present for men and save it. This is the tags title for listing number two. These tags and titles will work wonders. Also, always write your keywords separately for future use as well, because what happen with a lot of stores is they post 100, 200, 300 listings. You cannot follow this exact process for all the listings. You have to have your keywords saved separately somewhere. So whenever you just want to write your keywords, open up your keywords, write the tags and titles, it becomes a two to three minute thing rather than me taking ten to 15 minutes per title. Let's move on to the next listing listing number three. Well, let's copy the third listing and see what challenges are ahead of us. This is a scented soy candle. Sirens embrace Zooming is the brand name. Let's copy the entire title first so we can keep what's useful. Scented soy candle useful, Sirens Embrace useful, relaxing aroma therapy for home, gifts, meditation, spa, ocean lover. I think some random keywords in there are like ocean over. That is random spa is random so far. Meditation. Let's remove it for now. Gifts. Let's remove it. Relaxing aroma therapy for home, I think Now let's go on to Allora and look for some keywords. Don't be scared by the average rating of any keyword. Use whatever keyword is relevant to your listing. Gift her gift for her. Let's open up the gift for her because I want to explore more gifting tags for candles this time. And gift for her as a tag is decent enough, so let's write it in the T word as gift for her. Small soy candle. This is a decent tag, small soy candle. This is not a small candles, let's remove that. Candles scents, soy candles sets, scented candles. Scented candles, soy candles because it's in the title, soy candles. Sirens Embrace is their brand name, I'm assuming, so I'm not writing it in keywords. Relaxing aroma therapy for home, aroma therapy is a good keyword. Let's look for more. Funny candle is Soy wax candle. This is Soy Wax candle. Let's look at more. Soy candle, birthday gift, gifting tag, birthday gift. You can write tag is birthday gift for her in the title. Let's write it. Birthday gift for her. It's more specific now and it will rank higher. Oil's best smelling candle. This is a good keyword. Now let's look for some competitor listings and add some keywords from there. Best prices don't overpay. No. Don't do that to your titles. Please look at the title first. Scented soy candle. What can we add here? Natural or handmade. Let's go over organic organic scented soy candle, sirens embrace. Relaxing. Let's remove the word relaxing because it is not a proper SUK word. Just add aroma therapy for home and aroma therapy, candles for home and scented candles, soy candles, soy wax, scented soy wax candle. Natural eco friendly Candle. I think the title is already done. Yes, it is 134 characters. We can't add anything to it properly now. Let's go to tags. Now, every time you're writing the tags, as I've said before, repeat the entire title in the tags or at least try to because you won't be able to copy everything word for word. So let's start organic candle. Always write your tags in a way that people might search for it. Organic candle. Also another lesson. You don't have to write 13 tags all the time. Even if you cannot find keywords because if I try to find more keywords here, I'm only going to add irrelevant keywords to the listing, hogging the spotlight, and it's just going to be bad for SEO. Only and only add relevant keywords and nothing else. Now let's move on to the listing number four. Dad is an open heart accent ring. Let's look for heart ring. Because heart shaped rings are pretty common and fantastic as a keyword. Heart ring. Steel ring has two of keywords. Gift for her. Oh, look at the description. It says Cubic Zirconia accents. So Zirconia Ring. I'm probably butchering the pronunciation of this word. Zirconia Ring. But this is an important keyword here. Diamond let's just write diamond in the title because no one cares. It's only $66. So you know you're not getting real diamonds, right? Let's search for heart rings. Engagement ring, promise ring, anniversary gift for her. So you can use these keywords as well. Engagement ring, promise ring, anniversary gift for her. Engagement ring as a keyword. Fantastic, promise ring. Anniversary gift. Cubic zirconia ring. It is a proper keyword and you're already using cubic zirconia. So let's just write it Cubic irkonia ring, just so we're more accurate about our product. Heart shaped ring. Statement ring. Have you written that? No, we haven't. Let's add Statement ring. Stainless steel ring gift for her. Let's write it. Stainless Stainless steel ring. Hard stainless steel. Time for another trick. I just remembered it. If you're using Google Chrome on your computer, you can also search for this exact product on the Internet, just so you can search for keywords. Just go to settings here, search with Google Lens, and now just drag and boom. Now you're searching with Google. This exact image, this is a rock shipping store. So this product is listed on multiple websites. It's Let's look for some it's se listings. This is fantastic for product research and many other things. Look at this. So many listings. So many people have listed this exact product using different tags and titles. They have not written any tags. Their title is lackluster. Let's go to the next listing, Diamond gift for her eco diamond wedding gift for her lab rome. The spelling is wrong. It's fine. Okay. Ove ring, minimalist heart ring. As a tag as a tag, you can use minimalist ring. Now, let's write tags and titles from these keywords. This is open heart accent ring. Now, the title is complete. The only reason I'm using the separators in between is just to make it look segmented and make it look professional. Otherwise, if we remove these separators, the title still works exactly the same. As far as SO is concerned, it will work exactly the same, but it looks cluttered. It looks unprofessional, honestly. The functionality doesn't change. It's only for aesthetics. And the tags and titles for the fourth listing are finished as well. I'm very happy with the results so far that we've accomplished here. I'm 100% sure that these tags and titles will get insane amount of views if you apply them to a listing. Now, let's move on to the fifth and final listing. As for our final listing, let's hop onto this one. It's a cow plushy and it's only a two word title. Sometimes on EC, you will find listings like these, only one, two, three word titles, pretty much no tags, and it will have 38 reviews, 50 reviews, 100 reviews. It happens rarely. It's not a common thing to happen. You need to focus on your tags and titles because a thing like this happens once in a blue moon. So let's move on to the tags and titles for this one. Let's start searching for plushy here and see what Aura comes up with. Stuffed animal is another keyword that we can use here. First, paste it in the keyword here. Stuffed animal. This is the difference it'll find. Cow stuffed animal has 9,900 searches and stuffed animal cow has 1,300 searches. Be more natural. Whenever you're describing whenever you're writing the tags, be more natural. That will help you be discovered. Whenever you're wondering whether a tag is relevant to you or not, just search it on Google or EtS and you'll find it out. For example, this highland cow teddy, I only now discovered what a highland cow is. It's different than what our product is. Okay, so that's all we're going to find from Aura. Let's look for another term that is going to be very helpful kids toys. I think there will be many more good tags that we can use here like kids toys, toys for kids or something like that. Like kits for toys, toys for kids, and many more. Overview for some kids toys, toddler toys. It has a lot of searches, and it can easily be used here. Toddler toys. Toys for two year olds, another 60,000 searches. Fantastic. Toys for two year olds. Gift for kids is another common tag that we can use. Also, think of the uses of any particular product on how it can be used. For example, this cow plushy can be used as a gift for kids, gift for kids, as a research. Now, because Aura was not helpful at all, let's go to DC and search for some competitor listings so we can borrow more tags from that. Handmade is one of the tags that we forgot, handmade crochet handmade crochet will apply to this listing. I'm not 100% sure. Yes, crochet touffy. Crochet does handmade crochet. Put it in the beginning because it is an important keyword that we have to use now. Now let's go to the tags. Cute plush. Cute plush can be used Whenever you're wondering whether a tag applies to you or not, just search it on C. Let's open up another tag and search for te plush and see what comes up. Yes, it applies to our product perfectly. Cute plush. Squishy cow. What you can also do is whenever you're in Explode related searches here, you can just right click Open New Tab. Squishy Cow. And squishy Cow applies too. Copy it, paste it here. Now let me tell you another website that you can use for your keywords for free. It's not as good. It was way better before, but now it's not as good. It is ERNk. You just go to ERNk login, and go to the keyword research tab, keyword research tool, and search for your keyword. For example, I'll enter Cow plushy. First, let's enter plushy. Just to see what comes up. Bushy, you have a very limited quota for this one. You can only search up to five keywords per day, and this is already my second keyword because I tested it out on one keyword a while back. Now, it will give you a bunch of keywords. Way too many keywords. You just pick whatever is important to you, whatever you feel is relevant to your product. Also, you may need to do some research, for example, I'm seeing Ami Gurimi here. Let's search for it. Let's search what it is. And I'm urumio. It was wrongly spelled here, so you need to look around here and there. Okay. Am gurui. All it gives you is it's a competition. All other things are hidden, but it doesn't matter. As for the competition, ideally, don't look at it. It should not be too low, there are only 50 listings in there or something like that. Pick the tags that are relevant to you and do not look at Is competition or anything else. And if you like any tag and you want to be more specific with your research, just right click open in a new tab, amingGurumi plushi. So more specific is almost always good for your tags. Also, another idea that I want to teach you guys is whenever you're crafting title and tags for the listing, don't take this amount of time for each and every listing. Most of the time, what you're doing is you're posting the same product over and over again, same category of product over and over again. So for example, you have a crochet shop, so you're posting 100 listings. You're not going to repeat the entire process for 100 listings. What you need to do is do not waste this amount of time for all your listings whenever you're creating new tags and titles from scratch. What you need to do here is, for example, for example, I have a store that we only sell plushies. So what I need to do is general keywords. General keywords. And now, all the general keywords that you see, save them in general keywords and don't delete them. Use them whenever you please, so you don't have to go through the entire research again and again. That's how most people do it. That's how I do it on my store in my client's stores. Farm Animal. Since cow is a farm animal, so let's go for farm animal. Farm Animal plush. What we need to do here at CSEO is describe our product using the most words possible, most relevant words possible, and that's what we're doing right now. What you can also do is sort by competition because the less competition a tag has, the better it is generally, search numbers also matter. But see if you can find something relevant in there. Well, if I have time, I will open up at least ten more listings, ten more competitor listings and see what tags they are using, what titos are they using, what keywords are they using, and copy it here because they've already done their research, and I can benefit from their research. I don't have to do everything from scratch. I think these will be enough for now. As an example, this will be enough. But when you're actually doing the titles and tags, open up at least ten more competitor listings just to be sure of what keywords you're using. Now let's create the title. Cow plushy. I think handmade here, handmade, cow plushy the separator. I'll just create some combinations from these tags. Move from more specific and more relevant all the way to more general tags. I'll show you how. Okay, so whatever you remove from here, and this is a little bit of a dilemma because I'm on 144 characters as of now, and I have to remove a few characters. I think everything that I have written here is unique. Is mimportant to the listing. So just remove any word that you feel like you can remove. I think let's remove the kids from here. Let's remove the word unique. Kids nursery decor. I think it works better. Now let's move on to the tags and, you know, the drill, repeat the entire title in the tags. You can switch it around here and there. You always start. The rule for the tags are the same. You start with the most relevant keywords, and then you move on to more general and more generic keywords like gift for kids. For example, Cao plushy will be your first keywords, and around your last keyword should be gift for kids or something generic, like unique kids gift. Now, we have completed the tags and titles for our final listing, and I think it looks perfect. It will 100% improve the views and visits of whatever store uses. 7. Outro: Now there are two more important things that are extremely important for a REO. First will be thumbnails and second is your conversion rate. These are incredibly long topics that I will cover some other time. This is it from my side. Your project, do the same thing that I did. Write tags and titles for five different listings from five different niches, if you can, or your own niche. Do it and submit it below, and Dad wraps it up for this course. I'm extremely, extremely thankful for this opportunity to be able to teach you guys, and more courses are coming up in the near future. If you check out the description, I will probably already have the link to my teachable course. Please go and check it out. It will be even more dense with information. If you have any comments, please message me or leave it in the review box below. Thanks a lot. Thank you.
