Whenever you want to do a job search, you first have to identify the skill that you have and search for job matching your skills with a good company profile. You have to keep in mind while you are short listing the job, you have to keep them in an order. There is a best match of your skills and the company needs from that profile. It's also important to go to the JD, which is also known as job description, to understand the need of the company and make keynotes out of it. Before making the resume. You have to understand what are the key responsibilities that you have to perform and analyze and understand whether you have done this work or not before. Before we start building the resume around it. Now, let's talk about the tools that we can use to do a job search. These are the three important and media tools that you can use to do a job search. You can use NACADA.com. It's an Indian employment website which is operating in India and Middle East. And ugly help you find job basis, your skills and gifts a very accurate results. It's very popular in India and subcontinent. When it comes to indeed.com, it's an aromatic and website which will help you find jobs, spaces, your skills in various MNCs and different countries. You're going to also use a popular website known as monster.com. It's in global employment website. And it'll help you provide job basis, the skill that you have in various MNCs and countries across the volts. Whenever you're doing a job search, it's very important to understand the skills that you possess and what job or you're looking for. It's a first step in getting selected in the interview. So do it well, I'll see you in the next one. 3. How To Read Job Description?: Now let's talk about the second important topic that is JD, also known as job description. Now first understand what is a job description. If we talk from a definition point of view, a job description is a document intended to provide job applicant with an outline of the main duties and responsibilities of the rule for which they're applying. It basically gives a glimpse of what is coming your way and what are you supposed to do in future. Well-rounded job description should clearly identify the purpose of the rule, as well as the key task to be performed and the mean accountabilities of the position. The document is basically a brief background of the company and also gives an overview of what you will be getting in future and what are you supposed to do. When it comes to the importance of job description? It's a very important document that you need to go through in detail while you're applying for any job. For jobseekers, it's very crucial because it's an important part of the job posting job. The description section of the job clearly states what an employer is looking for. That way, potential candidate or the candidate who are looking for a job, applying for the job, can understand that what is required of them before even a blank. Let's say you're applying for a specific job. And while you're reading through the GD, you understand that these are certain things that I've already done and there is a probability that if I apply for this job, I'll be able to get selected and I'll be able to do the particular verb, then it'll be a good thing to apply for the job. So always go through GDB ones. If there is a match with all job requirements criteria, then it's a good fit and you can apply for the job. So always understand. Go through the GED while you're applying for any job. Understand the key responsibilities which you will be performing in future. As it is matching with the skill that you have, you can accordingly go ahead and apply for the job. Let's now understand with a sample description JD, to understand that, how does GOD looks? When it comes to job description? The top, if you will see, it will have for what profile they are looking for a job. So this profile is for workflow management team lead scuba. It said Google location, service delivery and it's under operations. If you read through it, join us specifically tells about this particular profile is for Google Operations Center for the opportunity to help Google users tackle their problems and accomplish their goals. All vile working in a dynamic and diverse environment. After reading the first two lines, you will understand that this particular profile is for a company which is Google operation centers and the deposition is workflow management team lead. So after, even before reading through the JD, you will get to know that this profile is for a leadership position. And the people or the person who had already done a leadership job will be the likely person who can apply for this job. If you will understand the positional responsibility, you will understand. It requires you to monitor and unable overall success of workflow delivery management. It asks you to review and analyze event management reports, maintain oral accountability for the request fulfillment process for a specific workflow. If you will see it has responsibility for the case delivery SLAs, and smooth workflow execution. Whenever you are reading through a job description, always, always understand the key responsibilities and the positional responsibilities that you are supposed to perform before applying for it. When it comes to the minimum qualification, you always have to understand that you are meeting the minimum qualification. Because if you're not meeting the minimum qualification, your resume will not get shortlisted. If you will read through it, you'll understand it needs excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. And the most important part, seven years of business operation experienced BPO or other customer service focus industry experience with two years plus minutes will experience. Whenever you are applying for the job, understand the minimum qualification. So if you have a five-year of experience, your resume might not get shortlisted. If you have years of experience, three years of experience, your profile might not get shortlisted. Even if you'd have 78 years of experience. If you don't have many Jill experience for two plus years, your resume might not get shortlisted. Always go through the sample description and the description provided by the company and understand and match the skill that you have and what they need. If there is a good match, the probability of you getting shortlisted for the interviews is comparatively higher. I hope all these points are clear. Thank you so much for your time. I'll see you in the next one. 4. How To Build a Resume?: Now let's talk about how to build a resume and what are the prerequisites of it. Before building the resume, you have to consider a few key points. First, you have to pick the right resume format and the layout. You have to tailor your information. For the jaw bad ***, put a job description so that there is a match between what you have done and what they need. You have to mention your personal details and contact information. And always make sure the number that you're giving should be active. An e-mail that you're adding should be correct. Always check for the typo errors so that you are not missing out on this basic thing. You have to add a resume summary or the objective so that while your resume is being audited, the person can understand that what you have done and what are the basic summary of your resume. You have to list the book experience, the company that you have worked for. Always try to be precise and do not explain things. Just be cut to cut and try to add points which are relevant and just be brief and to the point. It's a very good practice to mention the achievement that you have done during the denier or the work that you have done. Even if you are a fresher. Talk about the achievement that you have done while you were an internship, while you were in college. If you have done any project, you can talk about that. If you have got an award, but at any function that you have attended where you were avoided, you can mention the same that will be considered as your achievement. Also mentioned the top skills that you have, whether it's soft skill or any specific skill you have on a particular tool. Let's say you are good at interpersonal skills, your communication skills up good. You are good at team-building. You are good at developing relationships with the people who are good at customer handling. You can mention the same so that the person can easily gauge that what this person has done and what scale do you possess? Please do not write skills, specifically the technical skills for the things that you have not done. Let's say you have not worked on Python language. You have only work on CC plus plus language. Do not write Python or any other language if you're not proficient in that. Because this may lead to misleading information. And while you're being questioned on those particular topics, you'll not be able to answer them in a proper manner. So always be mindful. Whenever you're writing soft skills, are any technical skills. Be precise. When it comes to additional resume sections, you can mention what languages you can speak, your hobbies, and any extracurricular activities that you have done. And in the end, it is very important to proofread your resume because you don't want that while your resume is being audited, it has mistakes and things that should not be there. Always check for the typo errors and the grandma errors. These are the two templates that you can check out. On. The left is the chip template for a person who's experienced person. If you'll see at the top, it says about what is the work experience. So the girl's name is Jane Roe and she's been Business Development Manager. And her Volk experiences for that profile only, she had worked with company a, R-state solutions and these are certain things that she has done. Always mentioned the date of Chinese and when you left on the right, you can mention the country or the location where you have worked. When it comes to aboard an honors always. T9 mentioned the awards and honors that you have got during your college time, during your work time. So that the person can understand that this person has achieved something in life. And it'll be easy for them to get you. On the left you can mention about the skills. Always Stein mentioned skills that you actually possess, do not, right? Skills that you're not good at and the things that you have not done. It, it is a misleading information and mainly to rejection. In future. You can mention about the languages that you have spoken. And at the top, you can add your picture and bottom that you can mention the current location that you're living in, your email address and your mobile number so that the person, if you incase you get selected can contact you. On the right. This is a resume that is for a person who is a fresher. You can mention about me. You can mention the contact details and the skills that you have. If you know about these things, it will help you give a positive signal to the employer that you are interested in the company and you weren't, you know, about the company. It's a very good thing to do before a building for the interview. Now let's talk about the tools that you can use to do the company does search. So there are three important tools that you can use. No matter whether you are a fresher on an experienced person, asked for the job description and asked for the profile and what the company needs. You need to prepare some basic questions. When it comes to introducing yourself. You can prepare for that. When it comes to company to search. After doing company to search, you can have some questions which they may ask related to the company, which you will be able to answer. You can list all possible questions and make a note of the answers which might be asked in an interview. So let's say you are going for an interview, photo, Google Ads analyst position. So please focus on studying all the important points about Google ads and beef about it. So that while you are appearing for the interview, if in case they ask any question related to that, you'll be able to answer them in a proper manner. The interview is a chance to show your knowledge and skill, but also your personality. Interview is not only about answering questions, it's about how are you answering the questions with what confidence are you answering? So let us say if you are fresh or you don't have an experience. However, you have worked on a specific project. You can talk about that project confidently and you can answer the question related to that project so that you can build a confidence that this particular person has done certain task and we'll be able to be a good resource if hired. Think of question you would like to ask. It's not only about answering the question that they ask. You should also have some questions in your mind which you can ask the interviewer. During able to search, they will be most likely you have been you have been finding a topic which you might want to ask, write them out as glia questions for the individual. This will help you avoid any awkward silence when you are asked if you have any questions while you're appearing for an interview. And once they ask, if you have any questions, always ask questions and related to the profile and what will be. You're way ahead once you get selected. So let's say you were appearing for a team leadership position. You can ask that once I get selected, if in case the process, processes expanded. So what will be my responsibility? How, how I can adapt well to this particular situation. You can have multiple questions you can ask that isn't in any other projects that this companies acquiring on which vegan work on made. So you can have your questions ready. If you are a fresher, you can ask them, what will be your job responsibility? What will be the training period on which it will be in this thing? Once you'll ask signals the interview that you are prepared and you are serious about the profile. But actors with friends and family, no matter how good you are at a particular product or a skill. If you don't prepare well, if you don't practice well, you may flatter or you may not be able to deliver well while in the interview. So always practice the cushions. The basic questions that technical questions, that behavioral questions, all type of cushions which they males. And you can practice the same with your friends, families, and your parents also, so that you are not fumbling in the interview. Figured out what to wear. It's very important that before the interview, you'll take at least eight to nine hours of sleep. And you can keep all the important things that you need to interview. Well Hen, whether it's your any notebook, pen, your mobile phone, charger, anything which is important to you, which you might use before the interview or during the process. You can have that handy video. If you will take a good night sleep. What it will do is that in the morning you will be refreshed and you will be able to deliver value. I hope these all points are pretty clear. And in the end, just wanted to say one thing, guys. No matter how prepared you are, you have to also use your common sense to answer a few questions. So if in case there are some questions that are out-of-box, just be patient and calm enough to listen, listen to what they have said, and then accordingly answer. Thank you so much for your time. I'll see you in the next one. 7. How To Introduce Yourself In Interview?: Now let's talk about a very important topic, how to introduce yourself in an interview. When it comes to the introduction and interview, it's the first step while you are preparing for the interview, does the first question that is always asked, the key intention of the interview here, while asking, tell me something about yourself or tell me about yourself, is to know about the candidate in a brief manner and then follow up with questions that related to the job application and that all understand. And whenever you're appearing for the interview and you introducing yourself, first of all, always be prepared with the introduction. Do not just make up an introduction while you are giving the interview. Because once you're prepared for the introduction, there might be some follow-up questions that might come your way and then you have to answer them. I'll give you an example. Let's say I said my name is Amit Singh, anecdotal, I have an experience of eight years and I've worked on technologies like CC plus plus and Java, or I've worked on digital marketing in Facebook ads, search engine optimization. So every word which I am speaking and telling you the interview is something that interview is making a note of it. And he or she might ask you a question around that only. So always be prepared with the answers and the possible questions they may ask while you're introducing yourself. Self-introduction in interview mainly comprises off your name, your education background, any professional experience or internship training, then act some hobbies and interests related to the job. Let's say you introducing yourself, always keep in mind, be crisp to be to the point, and to inculcate certain points. Your name, your educational background, any professional experience, let us say you have worked on a specific language. You can talk about that. You have worked on a specific technology or a tool. You can talk about that. If you have done certain internships, you can talk about that. If you have sodium hobbies and try and try and add hobbies which you actually have. So let's say I'll give you an example. Let's say you have an hobby of reading. So while you're saying that I have a hobby of reading, keep that in mind. They might ask you, what was the last book that you read? Who was the author of that book? What was the summary of that book? What did you learn from that book? These are certain questions which may arise if he will talk about a specific hobby. As you know, there is a great first impression is the last impression. Once you Lilian introduction in the interview. And so customary HR questions, before that, you have got some extra brownie points. It means if you're introducing yourself in a proper brief manner and crisp manner, then you have already shown up positive point or a positive sign to the interview. That's the first step. Now let's talk about how to introduce yourself in an interview. So there are basically four major points that you should consider while you are introducing yourself in an interview and while you're preparing for the interview introduction, first, Dell, who you are, your name from where you belong? Some personal background. Example. My name is Amit Singh. I'm from Delhi and I'm living with my family. Second, you can mention about what you studied and education qualification. So you can tell me I am done BY deck from interpersonal University. And I have done it in information and technology stream. And I got a distinction in that. Any professional training experience or skill you have, you can talk about that. I've learned C, C plus and Java, Phyton. And I invoked with companies like Accenture, Google. I worked on multiple tools like Google ads, Facebook ads, and skill set possesses good communication skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to handle different situations, and ability to adapt. Additionally, you can talk about some hobbies and interests. So let's say your hobbies to read, you can talk about that. If you are interested in swimming, you can talk about that also. Now let's talk about the key things to take care during introduction. First, greed, the interview interviewer asked for the time of the day. So let's say your interview is the morning. You can say Good morning. If it's an afternoon, you can say Good afternoon. If it's after 4PM, you can mention Good evening. And always make sure to have a smile on your face. Second. Describe yourself stating your name and brief introduction. Brief Lee mentioned about yourself, your experiences and little bit about your interests. You can add some informal information, personal information about yourself, like you're interested in Hobbes also, this is something which is completely up to you whether you want to talk about that are not. Just make a note of it. Just give us more detail about your family. Always keep your body relaxed with confident body language. Understand while you're introducing yourself, make eye contact. Smile. Do not smile too much. That is also not correct. Smile adequately. Take up, hover, straight posture so that Wylie interviewed as seen you, he can understand this particular person is confident one and do not talk too much about your family and your personal details. Let's say there are five people in my family. I'm the older one. These are certain things that are not required to be a tall. You can just tell me. You can just tell them that I have a family of five and I'm living in Delhi. That's pretty much it. Mike, the practice you can learn to control your body language and project confidence to those around you. Whether you're appearing for an interview, whether you're giving a presentation, whether you are a leader, instructor, coach, or any person dealing with any situation in public, you got to have a consistent, positive and correct body language because it tells a lot about you without even speaking. When we talk about body language and interview, they'd are a few key aspects to it. Body language in job interview, gifts the interview a great deal of information that is not conveyed by the spoken word alone. It reveals whether the candidate is confident, goal-oriented, and focused, or indeed whether the candidate might actually be bored, insecure, and nervous while you are an interview. If you're maintaining a correct body language, if you're sounding confident, if you are smiling properly, if your posture is correct, if your hand woman disconnect, if your voice tone is not modulated, if your legs positions are correct, if you're not moving and nodding your head too much, if you're not scratching your head, if you're not moving your leg too much, it gives an impression that this particular person is a confident one and is prepared. Consistent body language provides an opportunity to convince the interviewer of your worth as a candidate. If you're maintaining a consistent body language. When I talk about consistency, it means that if you're speaking in a specific tone, you should maintain that tone. If you're maintaining a specific body posture, you should maintain the same. In addition to gestures, facial expression, and posture, the volume and the tone of your voice play an important role. Only 7% of the total attention is actually given over to your content itself. So when it talks about the body language, it's very critical. Because whenever you're answering any question, if your body language is correct, if your tone is correct, if you're able to convince the interview with the confident body language than the probability of getting a success in the interview is fairly high. Eye contact is a sign of openness and interest. So if you are maintaining a good eye contact with the interview, it means you're connected to them and you're interested in what they are asking and seeing upright posture signals Confidence Instant. If you're sitting upright, it means that you are confident and you have sodium strength. Saying goodbye, your last chance to win them over. So whenever you're preparing for the body language, how to maintain a body language. You can sit in front of mirror and see how you are behaving. Be away in the waiting room while you're while you are in the waiting room, always try and sit properly. Do not walk around too much because at time this is something also the HR see and understand that this person, particular person is The nervous. Maintain good posture while you are in an interview. Always try and maintain a straight body posture. Do not open your leg too much, and do not move your arms too much. Keep your palms open, so do not fold your hands. Because it says that you are not confident and you're protected about yourself. Use effective eye contact when it comes to eye contact. Have a subtle icon tag to not just open your eyes widely and just look at the interview. Just have a subtle eye contact and do not look here and they're focused on the interview only. Be responsive. So while you're being asked any question, just listen to the question once. Nod your head accordingly, and then accordingly the answer when it comes to the postures. So these are certain postures that you should look at when it comes to the correct posture. This is the perfect posture that you should have in an interview. Setup. Straight, maintain eye contact, smile and be enthusiastic. Use hand gestures. So this is the perfect poster that you should have. This is something you should not have. You should not cross your legs, you should not locate in there. This is also which is not the correct posture, even value or waiting an interview room. This is a very bad posture where you're slouching, staring, fronting and fidgeting eye. This is something that you should avoid. Always these Last three goals. This is not the correct way. This is not the correct way, this is not the correct good. This is the perfect way to do it. Now, let's talk about the posture while you're sitting. Open posture, more relaxed, open attitude. How To Do Active Listening In Interview: So now let's talk about a very important topic which is active listening. While you were having a conversation in office. While you're having a conversation in an interview. Active listening is very important and plays a vital role when it comes to answering the questions in a proper manner and understanding what is being asked. Let's just understand what is active listening. Active listening is a soft skill that helps in high regard might be employers. When interviewing for jobs, using active listening technique can help show the interview how your interpersonal skills can draw people out. Active listening, redirect your focus from water's going on inside of your head to the needs of your prospective employer or interview. If I tell you the crux of it, active listening is basically a technique through which you understand what is being said in a proper manner and you actively listen to what is being asked. There is a difference between hearing and listening. So when it comes to hearing, you're just hitting whatever is coming your way. But whenever you're listening actively, it means that you're processing that information in your mind and you're preparing a proper constructive unsaid around it. And during interview, it is very important to actively listening to what is being said accordingly, process that information in the mind and prepare a proper constructive sequential answer around it so that you can answer the question being asked in a proper manner. So let's talk about the advantage of active listening. By placing your focus through active listening squarely upon the interview, you prove that you are interested in the organization. Challenges and success. You're ready to help them problem-solve work issues. Are you a team player as opposed to being nothing more than a cell absorbed up candidate. While you're actively listening to what is being said, they are engaging, what kind of person you are. Let's say they are asking a question and you're not actively listening to it, you will not pick the nuances of it. While you're answering to it, you will miss fewer things. Let's say in an interview, there is a question that is being asked and it's a long question which is containing multiple things. So I'll give you an example. Let's say in an interview, the person or the interviewer asked, tell me something about yourself, your work experience, the project that you have done, what are the benefits of the project? What are the demerits of the projects? What are the language that was used in the project? And in the end, telling me something about your interest that you have. So there are multiple questions that are being asked her. If you're not able to recall those answers in a proper manner, what it will do is that it will given signal to the interview that you are not gauging the questions properly. You're not actively listening. So it's very important that whenever you're an interview or in any conversation in public also, which is important when it comes to presentations also or group meetings, group discussions also, actively listening to what is being said is very important to give up correct and appropriate constructive, sequential answer, which will suffice the need. Now let's talk about the key things to take care while you're doing active listening. It's important to not interrupt averse. Try to answer the question before you know what the interviewer is asking. When it comes to active listening, it means that, let's say if an interviewer is asking something until the interview is finished, do not start on sitting. Let the interviewer finish. Understand what is being asked, what is being said in a proper manner, then only construct an answer around it and then on.So you can take a pause of 510 seconds also, that is fine. But if you will be in a hurry to answer the question being asked at times you might miss the details of it, which will give a bad signal and abandoned question. Listen carefully to the interviewer's question, asked for clarification if necessary, and wait until the interviewer has finished talking to respond. Do not interrupt. As I said earlier, when able to interviews saying something, listen patiently and understand what he's trying to say. Do not answer in a hurry. Take a pause of 1015 second frame and answer in your mind and then calmly answer in a structured manner covering things that are asked. When ever data something that has been asked by the interview. Take a pause, understand, recollect all the information. Structured and answer rounded, and then calmly in a, in a confident tone, start answering things one-by-one. Now, we'll talk about active listening technique with examples. So they don't majorly three techniques which you can use during the interview while you're actively listening to the questions first, building trust and establishing report. When it comes to building trust and establishing report, it is basically a way through which you're connecting with your interviewer in a, in a correct manner. And you're establishing a relationship after going through the profile. So what you can say while, for the words when it comes to building trust and establishing report. After going through the profile and the company research. I'm excited to be a part of this organization. When you will use phrases like this, it means that you are building trust, you or you have done your research about the company and you want to work with the company, you can use these phrases during your interview to establish trust and red board. Secondly, paraphrasing. It is very important whenever there is something being asked in an interview, if you're not able to gauge the question properly, always paraphrase and ask again for the clarification. So you want to know in detail about the project that I have done and what the major benefits of the same. Always, if in case you are not sure, always paraphrase and ask the interviewer against so that while you are giving the final answer, you're not missing on the details. Thirdly, brief verbal affirmation. It is very important, Let's say interviewed is saying something about the company project profile. Asking any question, nodding of the head in a positive manner, saying words like okay, correct. Shaw. Yeah. I agree with you on that. These are certain things that you can see. What it will do is that these are part of brief verbal F0 missions. It proves, and it gives the signal to the interview that you're actively listening to what is being said. And you're positively understanding the things that as being said. Always give brief a formation. Always paraphrase if in case you are in doubt and build trust by saying words. Like I'm excited about this profile, I've read about the company and you can talk about the things that you have done. It's important part of the interview selection. So always, always actively listen to what is being said. Be patient. Construct your answer before answering. Do not hurry. Thank you so much for your time. I'll see you in the next one. 10. Correct Answering Structure in Interview: Now let's talk about a very important lecture. What should be answering structure during an interview? When I talk about the answering structure, there are three main things related to that. One is the opening part. When you're talking about the topic sentence or the main idea of the question that is asked. Second is the middle part. Therein, you add some supporting detail to the question that you're answering. Third part is the closing part where you are summarizing your answer and you're giving a sign that you're ending the answer. Net. Just understand with certain examples that what should be opening, closing and the middle part of it so that you can give a structured answer in a good manner. Let us understand with an example. When I talk about opening, the opening should answer the question without adding extra details and unnecessary words. So here's an example. What was your favorite class last year? It's a straightforward question. Your answer should be. My favorite class last year was Enterprise Risk Management. Straight, straight away, you are giving answer to the question that is being asked. Second question, what is your biggest weakness? My biggest weakness is that I get frustrated and impatient when my employees don't do their work. Well. If you understand these two questions that are being asked, the main idea is still where the individual is asking about your favorite class in the first question and the second is asking about the biggest weakness. It's a straightforward question. And you can answer in opening part, like this, the way you told me talk about the middle part. The middle part of your answer should give details that support your opening sentence. Give 12 or three details more than that can make dancer confusing. What was your favorite class last year? The question is that you can answer. My favorite class last year was Enterprise Risk Management. I liked it because I had never studied risk management before. I learned useful things that I know I'll need it in my future. I also enjoyed over group discussions. This is something that initially you're answering to the main question that is being asked. And you're also adding the detail that I had never studied risk management before. This is a one detail, sweat. Learn useful things that oil needed in future career. These are certain details that you're adding to the question. The answer that you're giving this answer gifts to the deal to support the topic sentence. Choose the detail to make the answer interesting, or to give more information to support the sentence. So whenever you're giving the answer, when it comes to the middle part, give some supporting statements and information to make your answer more good. Closing part. Once you're ready to finish your answer, it's important to say something that shows you're finished. It says things that sums up your answer and shows your finished. What was your favorite class last year? If that is the question, what should be answered? I'm talking about the closing part and the complete answer. How you can give the complete answer in one mole. My favorite class last year was Enterprise Risk Management. I liked it because I had never studied risk management before. So I learn useful, useful things that I know I'll need it in my future career. And I also enjoyed about group discussions. When I think about my class last year, enterprise risk management is definitely the one that I enjoyed the most was the complete answer that you're giving to the interview once he or she's asking for it. Now let's talk about the important topics that is question types. So no matter for which kind of interview you are applying, there will be three type of medication that are being asked. One is knowledge-based. This is basically a straight awake state of equation related to the product, technology, audit and technical skill. Let's say, if we talk about that, tell me what are the browsers that you have used? Tell me a surgeon anion. So these are certain questions we just straightaway when it comes to worlds by certain unit school. When it comes to browsers, you can talk about Microsoft Edge, you can talk about Chrome. These are state of equations related to the topic that is being asked. These are knowledge-based quotient. If you remember them, you'll be able to answer. If you don't, you'll not be able to answer them properly. Second is behavioral based. So these behavioral based questions are very important and are being asked. In all the interviews, especially for the people who are going for experienced position and a leadership position because behavioral based questions defines lot about the person. So we will follow the star approach visit, which is situation, task, action, result. Another type of question that is being asked in interviews, especially for the leadership position and for the people who are experienced is hypothetical. It needs strong analytical skills. And out of the Boston thinking. Now let's talk about all these question types one-by-one, and I'll explain the answers also how to upload these things. It's a behavioral question. If I talk, a behavioral question looks at how you have handled a specific challenge in the past to assess if you'll be a good match for the rule. Sample requirement include decision-making, initiative, organization, time management, flexibility, leadership, problem-solving skills. Behavioral question usually start with the phrase, such as, tell me about a time when or give me an example of describer decision that you have made. Whenever you are giving a behavioral question, always actively listen to the cushion in a proper manner and engage the question. What has been asked? Structure the answer in your mind and then start speaking. Do not abruptly start. It's been recommended across the interviewing board that star approach is the best approach when it comes to giving the answers to the behavioral based questions. I tell you how, how this basic star approach works. Comes to star stands for situation. D stands for tasks. A standard for action. R stands for results. When I talk about situation, describe the context within which you perform the job of face to challenge it folk, be as specific as possible. You can talk about any situation that you have handled within. There was a specific problem that you had. Let say you are working in a company and the quality of the team was impacted. That is a situation. When it comes to task. Next, describe your responsibility in that situation. Perhaps you had to help your group complete a project within a tight deadline, dissolve a conflict with a coworker or hit a sale target. It can be anything. If you have a quality issue, you might have done certain of feedback sessions, training sessions, PGDs, and everything to make sure that your things are working in a proper manner and it comes to action. What action heavier taken? Describe how you completed the task or endeavored to meet the challenge. Focus on what you did rather than what your team boss or coworker. Whenever you're talking about the behavioral answers, it is very important to talk about your role and responsibility while resolving a certain conflict problem or issue that you faced. Because that is something defines that what you have done when it comes to results. Finally, you can explain the outcome or the results generated by the action taken. It may be helpful to emphasize what you accomplished and what you learn, what you might do differently. Next time, you can summarize the answer and talk about what you did and what was the outcome of that. In other cases can be that quality improved because of the things that we have done and vCore based for the work that we did. Now let's understand with an example of a behavioral question. Let's, let's understand with an example. In this example, describe a specific problem you solve for an employer or a team. How did you approach the problem? What rule did your you play? What was the outcome thanks to consider for your answer example from past experience when you demonstrated behavioral skills applicable to the role you're applying for, who you involved and how in you influence them. Let's say you solved a problem. What was your role and responsibility and then how you tackle those problems. What would the solution that you gave and how you made sure that that solution is working. Challenges that you faced and how you dealt with them. It's always important to talk about the challenges in the difficulty that you faced during that particular time and how you overcome that. That is also important to inculcate in the answer while you're giving it. Now, let's talk about a hypothetical question. While behavioral question, assess your past performance. A hypothetical question, also known as situational question, evaluate how you would handle a challenge you may not have encountered yet. Questions often begin with, imagine. When it comes to the hypothetical question, add the names and the interviewer will put you in a situation that might not be true. But if in case you in that situation, how you will think out of the box to resolve that problem that defines your character. Question often begins with imagine that you are designed to access your thought process rather than right or wrong situation or solution? Strong answer must have an understanding of the problem. Thoughtful problem-solving, potential solution, support for your solution and strong communication. Every parameter, if you're talking about a strong answer to a hypothetical question, every parameter is important. Understanding the problem that you have, thoughtful problem-solving skills, potential solutions, support for your solution. Strong communication skills. Whenever you're answering to a hypothetical question, Ghaidan, understand what will be the repercussions of the solution that you have done? And once the outcome is there, what solutions that you offered and how you can relate that solutions to the task that you have done. And what was your role and responsibility. And then it will basically define that how you can handle or hypothetical situation that you have never handled and what is your approach or thought process when it comes to problem-solving? That is very important when it comes to answering the hypothetical questions. Let's talk about the example of hypothetical question. Imagine that you are in charge of an organization. The grand opening of a new company offers in Bangalore, India, WhatsApp would you take to plan this? So you can talk about, and you can think about various things while you're answering. First, the objective of the event and the measurement of the success. Second, how will you invite to the event? Third, what will be the logistics around the event, setup, location, or timing ford stakeholder to involve in this process. I am a person who's come here for the interview. So you just try and maintain that balance. Show your interest in the person as well as the job. You can talk about the interviewer also, while you want to ask certain questions. In the end, once the interviewer asks, Do you have any questions for me, you can mention that. This is something that you can mention, reach out to recruiters and head home does reach out to the recruiters and the people who are from the agencies, especially the recruitment agencies, what they will do is that they will give you the just and the brief of it that what is the maximum that you can get from this particular profile at this position? Ask colleagues, friends and family. You can always take help from your friends, family and colleagues to understand that what might be the salary that I should get for this particular profile, you can get a brief reference from them so that you can calculate your average salary that you might be asking. Never sell yourself. Short. It means until unless you have done the coded research on the salary that might be offered, or what is the probability of getting this salary? Do not setup the deal or do not accept the offer right away. Give some thought to it. If I think about it, analyze and understand the data around it, and then only you can move forward. How did the divine salary range did a mine the low point? Now let's talk about how the domain, the salary range. So basically, I'll tell you that if you're not aware about that, what should be the salary range from low to the high, middle? How to basically calculate that? First, define the low point. How much do you need to make n meat would accept if there was no better alternative around the corner. Let's understand. You're going for a job. First, understand what is the minimum that is that I'm expecting from that that this is something that if in case of the offer is below that are not accepted set of mine send a set-up. Number two, your in your mind so that while they give you that number, you are sure that whether to accept that offer or not. Secondly, define the midpoint. How much people like you be real, consult the research you have done. So basically, what you can do is that, let's say, I'll give you an example. Let's say your starting point might be ten lakh. You can set up a midpoint. And around 12.5 lakhs, right? So accordingly setup a point which is higher to the low point and define the height high point, that's your dream pay, one that would make you feel like you've got a raised before I even started. High point is a point wherein you feel that this is a salary. So let's say in an ambition box, you saw that the average salary for a manager is 15 lakh. This is something which average and currently are getting 11 lakhs. So 13 lack 14 lakh is something which might be a low point. And up too high you can get to 1718. So keep that in mind while you're negotiating. Forget the low point. You don't want that popcorn. Understand? You don't want to go too low on the salary negotiation, so understand this is something I should not accept. Your salad is between your midpoint and the high point. So sweet point when it comes to the salary negotiation is the high and the mid between that. So let's say the highest, 18 lakh meters, 15 lakh. The good sadly might be 1617. Use that salary range when talking to prospective employers. So whenever you're talking about your salary negotiation, talk to perspective employers. This is something that I'm looking for. Now let's understand a bad example of salary negotiation. What to avoid? This should be a big no. Jim, he's currently applying for a job as an account executive at a high growth startup. He answered all the technical questions and East behavioral interview questions. Both sides agree is a perfect match. Then comes the question, what are your salary expectations? This is a very important and critical question. Jim hertz, start bounding, sadly isn't important to me. I'm here because I believe in your product, he mumbles, these are certain statement that should never be said that Sally's not important. I'm not here for the salary. I want to learn only. Learning is important. But if you have worked so hard for it, so do not just give conclusive statements while you're discussing the salary. Downplaying salary expectation to get a foot in the door is a terrible mistake. Do not do it. Do not just say sadly is not important to me. I'm here for the product, I am here only for the learning. This is something which is vague and should not be said. It's like falling to your knees in desperation. It means that you are just begging them. They just take me I'll I'll come from whatever salary that you offer that is not the correct approach and never should be followed. Don't like be jim, don't like me Tim. I mean, do not follow this approach. So let's talk about how to answer salaried questions because this is very important. Whenever there are certain questions that are being asked, understand that how to answer them, and what are the key things that you should consider? Avoid giving a specific answer too early in the process, let's say the HR stat. So what salary are you looking for? Do not say I am looking 14 lags, 13 lab notes, say a number. What do you can say is that I'm looking for a lucrative benefit and asked for the current sadly, I have I will discuss about an LLC that how much I can get from it. Do not give a specific number right away. Give a range if you want. Let's say I am looking for 16 to 18 lakhs, right? You can give it an inch, but do not be specific. Turn the tables on the interview and get them to give your range. You can ask the interviewer you, what range are you offering? What is the salary that you're offering for this particular position? What it will do is that you are throwing the ball in their code. Now, they will answer that what is the salary that they can give you? Make a strong case for your range by providing evidence for your world. Let's say if you're negotiating your salary and they say that this is something that is not practical. You can show them with examples that I have checked it on with various friends and the people. And what I found is that this is something that as per the market standard people are getting, give yourself time to come back with specific counter-offer. So let's say if you're not happy with the offer, give yourself time and see that what they are offering again and then accordingly, move forward. If you're sadly Lynch overlap, you have something to work with. Let's say you're getting 12 lack currently and they're offering 14 lack of 15 lakh. If you see that that is overlapping or just above what you're getting, you can think and see that whether you want to accept that offer or not, ask if the salary is negotiate able or not. You can ask that whether this particular salary that you are offering is negotiable or not, Can we talk about it or not? Or is something that is fixed that you will be offering? This is something which is very important to ask because it's about, because this sadly will not change. If the deal is done. If you have signed the offer letter, it will not change. The numbers will remain the same. So all the negotiations in the efforts should go before, not after that. Ask how how you can get closer to the higher number so you can have a conversation with them and understand it. How much max taken, go about it so that they can get, you can get the best deal. Now let's talk about the very good example here, how to negotiate the best salary. This is something which is very important and you can make a note of this particular lecture because this will help you get the best of what is on the table. Remember, the salary range will come up with, use the information you've collected so far. During an interview. Interview you can present a range to your prospective employer between your base rate and iterate. When giving this range, you can further assert am giving you a range because depending on the role and responsibility involved, this will determine whether is in this range, The soul fits or not. Having said that money isn't my only motivation. So I'm also keen to grow and be flexible on my salary depending on the outcome of my application. Pro tip. This is very important as much as you need to decide what's negotiable and what's not for you. Put yourself in your perspective, employers shoes be realistic about the size and the type of the company interviewing for and think about whether they can afford being flexible in the first place or not. This is very important guys. Let's just be practical. No matter which position you have been hired, you have to understand the capacity of the company. Let's say you're applying for the big M and C, wherein they have more than one lack of employees, they have big offices and they have big projects. So the probability of getting a higher salary is good. However, if you're applying for a small company, having a 100 employees, small offices, only working for a specific country, then your probability of getting that highest, at least comparatively lower. So be realistic. Do not a project your salary too high. What do you need and do not be too low? Just try to find a sweet spot between the high and the medium so that you can get a good salary height or all, just use your common sense. Do the basic research while you're doing it. The calm, be respectful, be polite, and always focus on data-driven answers. Do not just vaguely say something. If you're looking for a specific salary, tell them that after doing the research, I have found that this is something that this particular position people are getting. So I'm expecting this particular salary. And once you accept the offer accordingly, you can move forward and you can move to the documentation part. I hold this particular lecture helps you a lot because this is the most critical lecture when it comes to the whole and dielectric that we are discussed. Because when it comes to selection, after getting selected, after getting selected, sadly, something that you have to negotiate in a manner that you're getting most of it. I hope it helps. Thank you so much for your time. I'll see you in the next one. 13. Things to Keep During Documentation: Now let's talk about what are the prerequisites of documentation. What it will do is that at times during the documentation process, they said they asked for few documents. They asked you to upload few documents again. So just check that what documents they are asking for. And if in case there is a document that is pending from your end which needs some change. You can accordingly upload the document and always, it is recommended to be proactive and available on phones and on males so that you can check what is the information that is being sent by the recruiter. Lastly, be professional throughout the selection process and be courteous always.
