1. KREA AI Introduction and Project Details: This is a fantastic class. This is one of many AI classes I'll be doing in January 2024. Korea has been around for, I'm going to guess about a year, maybe a little bit longer, but it's really exploded in the last couple of months. It's alive, you talk about three. And Leonardo at mid journey. And you have to generate art. Well, this does it live. Let's take a look at it real quick. We call it real time generation design at the speed of thought. And the way it's set up is really simple. It's happening now. There's no way about it. There's no generation. There's no wait time in this class. I want you to, for the class project, I want you to try it and post something really cool. Show me the prompt. Do something crazy. Now that this prompt is just a really simple prompt, but it also has a random generator. I'm hoping you'll come up with something a little more creative, a little something for yourself. Maybe do a video, post a video, or a link to your video. I just hope you have a lot of fun with this. It's a great program. I really enjoy it. It is a time consumer though, I will tell you that. But you'll have a lot of fun in this class and I can't wait to see what you come up with. 2. Class Project Example: So here's an example of a finished piece that I did, I created in Korea and I recorded it on my ipad. I hope you enjoy it. 3. KREA Real-Time Art Generator: Okay, so we're back in Korea and I uploaded an AI image that had a lot of kind of, I want to say gauseum blur built into it. I had a lot of blur built into it, had this nice kind of fairy tale look to it. And this is, I just enhanced it, this is what it's giving me. It's pretty cool. The enhanced feature. Now, this is an imported image. It's not an image that was created by Korea. You can also import images of your own images. You can see that by this it did a really fantastic job, even though it is finer detail, because the mushroom is so high, so big, it still lends itself to being a fantasy picture, I think. But it depends on what type of image you're going for. This one is, I think I did this in Leonardo. It's unenhanced, meaning that I didn't use any filters on it. You can see underneath of the mushroom there that it's not perfect. But once I bring this in, you can see that it's still an illustration, but it's a lot nicer, it's a lot cleaner. Look at the lights, Look at the area on the tree over here, right next to the very top here, it looks like another light source, but it's actually just reflection. There is a mushroom on the edge of the tree. It's pretty cool. What do you guys think? This is pretty cool, huh? This is Enhancer. This is part of their suite of apps right now that is free. I think you have to get on a wait list. I think they might have waived that by now, but it doesn't always work that way. Now, I'm going to go ahead and download this image. I want to show you something that I worked on just a few minutes ago. This is my puppy when he was little, he's looking sideways, right? He's in the backyard. He's looking sideways, and his head's tilted on the side. But look at what it did when I enhanced it, it changed the orientation of it. Now, it looks almost like a badger or something and not a puppy anymore. I'm not saying it's 100% accurate, but I guess for this type of thing, I'm surprised that it did that just change the orientation altogether. That's surprising. I wasn't too crazy about this one then. This is the first image I try. This is a really blurry image of me. I tried to see if it could do anything with it. It is a little bit better, but obviously I wouldn't use this because it's just not crisp enough. Now, when you're going into the AI strength, we can change this number here, We can make it. If it did, I would enhance it into another type of image of me. I'm going to try a different image and see what it does, maybe to the mushroom image here they have the upscale one to one is 100% 2.0 is going to be 200% so it can make it much larger. If you look at the area down here, the x 16, this is a vertical image, it's as high as 2040, 82k image, basically. Here you put your prompt. I put a self portrait negative prompt. I would strongly recommended, I didn't put a negative prompt with the puppy and I think that's probably why it didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped they do come up with. This is some of the things they show us in their samples. You can see the difference. This is the enhanced picture. There is a reflection in the glass, but it's not really detailed. But once you get here, you can see the texture of the lemon and even the cut lemon. And then look at the glass, glass has some nice texture there as well as you can see a nice reflection as well. The other thing, notice I want to see that, is look at the glass on the right. You can tell there's indentations there where you would hold a glass. But look at this, it's really evident here. That's cool, I like that a lot. This is another one that they provided for us. You can really see the difference here. Look at the tongue, There's so much detail in that tongue, and these are the things that were created in Korea, by the way. But the great news about this is you can bring in anything you want. You can bring in your own images. You can't bring in movies. You can bring in any PNG file. I'm not sure if it takes Jpeg, but definitely takes PNG. You can see what it does here. Now, granted, this isn't really the picture. See, it's not the exact picture. There are some complaints about this that people are saying, well, the picture changed, it doesn't look the same. Look at the blackberries look. Raspberry on the top, in the middle, you can see that there's a hole right in here at the very top. But when you go into the hands, the orientation of that raspberry changed. I think what they're doing is they're just replacing it with what it interprets to be there still a really cool image. Now if we click on Generate here, we can go back to the Generate image. As we talked about before when you first open the application, this is what it gives. It gives you these two a circle and a square. This is based on the image in the background, which is this. And you can change that. You can change it to one of the ones that they provide you, or you can upload your own image. Then it says pink frog on top of a blue mushroom. Now here's the fun part. This is all live. Instead of waiting for something, whether you're in mid journey or Leonardo, this is happening live. Once I click on it, watch what happens on the right. It's changing. It's changing now. It doesn't necessarily mean now that it's going to be a pink frog anymore on top. It's random in a way. Another thing we can do here is we can resize it. It's more vertical, for instance, now it looks like there's a tree there. You can also bring in a path and you can pick a color. Say for instance, that, that's strange. You don't have to use the shapes, you can just use the paint brush as well. Once you change this prompt, let's say red Rdfark on a blue elephant. Now we've got this craziness here. Now let's say we can either start from scratch here, we can just click here on all these different changes that we made. And you can see, this is strange, right? Best thing to do, funny. It's a lot of fun. It can take up your afternoon very quickly. There are other programs out there, like Leonardo has something similar. But what this can do, you can bring in pictures right here. You bring in your own pictures. You have the shapes, square, circle, triangle. Right now, they also have a layering. The layering here, moved to front. Move back one layer. Watch if I go like this. Now it's like that. Which is funny. Isn't it? A pink ear with a blue. Oh, I spelled red wrong. I put that's probably why I didn't understand what I was doing. Look at that. Isn't that cool? Is think it's a cool image. Actually, I might save that one. Download the image? Yeah, you can have lots of fun with this. You want to make some things so it's maybe a darker sky. You just saw what I did there a second ago. This is the problem with AI. Unless you put in a negative prompt, which nick is anything that you don't want, the extra limbs you're going to get this. It's going to be take a little bit of playing around, you can bring in some photos. Like I said, these are images that you can bring in as your background. Now you have, you can say, let's change that art. Just let's say if I can do red, red ear on a blue elephant, it's really just trial and air. I think you'll get the hang of it. Now, let's say we don't want to do any of this. We can go on the left here, we can clear the canvas, but now we still have this background that you can go and either look in here and see if there's something here like this one or this one. Look at that one, it's cool. Let's just make this a blue elephant in the jungle. Or you could do, let's do something off kilter a little bit in the library. Can do anything you want. I haven't even done anything yet on this image. All I do is bring in the photograph. And the prompt is building a picture right away on based just on the prompt. It's pretty cool. You can also just go in here and you can start drawing. Now, here is the size of the brush. You can do transparency. This is obviously solid and you can choose your color if you start adding circles to this image now. You're going to start seeing some weird stuff happening in the background. Could be a light source. If you've ever seen my Tiktok video, I'll share a link with you. I do some really dramatic images too. I had a post on Tiktok. When you start drawing these circles, they start becoming lamps. They start becoming light sources. You can change it. Like this one here, this really doesn't have an effect on anything. I look at that one, look at that one is missing a tusk. Other go look at that. Pretty cool. The other thing here on the right hand side, they call the snow style. They have cinematic. It's going to change a little bit. That's funny. Illustration, illustration wise, although it's very similar to the real one. This one adds flowers, I think. Yeah, there are always flowers in the Bloom product. Let's say you're doing some A product. This is cool. Let's say you're doing a product. Let's say, let's say we're going to do a elephant. Elephant bank. Okay, there's that. Now, again, like I said, we can change the background if we want. I don't know if I have anything besides these. Landscapes illustrations are weak textures. Let's just go back to our original green, oh my god, look what happened there. I don't know what's going on there. We could just go back here and we can start drawing something. You'll see it's going to catch up with me in a second Here. Come on, there we go. Obviously, I didn't say porcelain looks like a porcelain elephant to me. If the great thing I like about this is it's giving me ideas for other things, I wouldn't ever thought of a porcelain elephant bank. Look at that. Where did that come from? Look at this. Is it going to do it again? It's so funny. It just gets my attention. Every single time we can start just putting in some images. Now, what is it doing? It's looking at the image on the left. And it's trying to think of, okay, what is this person trying to show me? This particular color is making it think that it's something bright. Maybe it's a screen, maybe it's a TV, maybe it's a window, and you'll see that. Let's see if I bring it up here right away. Now it looks like a window, right? It's a lot of trial and error. What I like doing now, I don't know if I can do it on here, but on my ipad I can screen record. When you're screen record, I'll throw one of my videos on there. You can see that what I'm talking about, what I like doing there, I like screen recording because sometimes I don't get always the image that I want to get or I might get it and I miss it like that. One time I thought was so cool. What you can do then is then you're saving it as an MP four. Maybe I can show you that another video, how to do that. It's pretty self explanatory here. You can just see what we're doing now. This is product. Let's go back to cinematic. And you can see here, I don't know where it got this information. Maybe that Porcelain and I put porcelain doesn't make any sense. All right, let's change this altogether. And let's just say a robot eating ice cream. And of course we don't want this anymore right now. We can duplicate. You saw that just a second ago. I like using this a lot too because it can, it gives it some really cool vibes there. You can fun with this. Either it becomes the ice cream or it becomes maybe someone's shirt. In the fun part about all this, it also gives us a lot of inspiration. How many of you are in advertising. And you've looked at those books, like illustrations, I can't remember the name of it now. It used to be in advertising, but there's these giant books. They're thick two inch books, and they give all these different artists work. Usually what you do with it is you use it for inspiration, right? Sometimes you hire somebody from there. A lot of times it's just inspiration, right? Just like image search, you do a Google search or something like that, you're doing inspiration. Have a lot of fun with this. It's a great program. This just selects the can also turn it, which is cool. Now it's got some perspective like that. Then we talked about add image, brush strokes, canvas background, and then you could undo as well. All right, we're going to stop with this part. We're going to go back to Korea. 4. IPad Screen Record Technique: Okay, this is what I do for a really quick video that I want to post on Tiktok. Or if I'm creating something really quickly in the AI generator in Korea, all I do is I go up to the top corner, This would be the top left corner and I just drag it, drag it down at the very bottom here, it's record. Don't do a countdown. Now you click on this and then you just start moving this around. You're recording all of the movements. Then it becomes like a little animation in a sense. And then when you're done, you just stop. You go back over here. You click stop. And then it saves it to your photos. And then there all I do is I prop it down to size. Let's do that right now. If I go to my photos and I just go up here to edit, I go to my crop, which is down here. I click that. And then depending on what I want to do, if I want to show people that this is the before and after I do this, simply that I always keep Korea in there, give it credit, then there's the before and after. That could be your video that you post either or if you want, you can just, oops, you can just crop it further and just do that and then upload that to Tiktok. It's as simple as that, enjoy. 5. KREA Logo and Pattern Illusions: All right, we're back on the home screen here. Korea Open Beta. We've talked about real time generation. We talked about upscale and enhance. And now we're going to talk about a couple of other things, other apps that they have going on. These two are intertwined a little bit. One is they call it AI patterns, which is basically the same as logo illusions. Do the same thing. I don't know if you've seen any of these. I've seen some on Tiktok where there's an image. It's very similar to the pattern illusion where you might have seen these on Tiktok where they would post an image that looks like, for instance the one I saw. It happened to be like a third world country, really poor area, And this man's face, you could easily see the man's face. It was illusion where you see this man's face. This is built into the same concept, although it's really not as strong as I'd hoped. Sometimes it hits it, sometimes it doesn't. You can see some of the things I've tried, tried to corn maze, I tried the Apple logo, and I didn't have very good results to be honest with you. I did a random generator right here. Let's see if it comes up with something ahead. I'm going to, you can see both have a strong logo strength and we're going to have a weak logo strength. Just see what it does for us. So far I've only with the Apple logo, but I've tried a logo. I've tried some other things. It just doesn't do a good enough job for me. I think there's other programs which I'll touch in other classes that do a much better job. These two are okay. I wouldn't say they're the best here. You can't even see anything. Do I go in the middle? See, it's just too much trial. And good thing about this one though. It is free. You can play with it. You can play with it. Can I get an idea? It's just not working for me. Now, they do have an animation thing here. I'm not sure what it's going to do for us. The an's some of the other ones like Pica and Lens. Leonardo has a really nice animation. Let's check this out. It's not too bad. It's, it's a very basic animation. Really great Korea right now. Definitely use it for the image generation, it's live. Also use it for the enhance and also upscale. Those are the two areas. These are a miss for me right now, but definitely give it a try, check it out. Let me know what you think about it. 6. Krea2025version: So here we are. This is 2025. We're in KEA. There's two pricing plans, $8 a month for you get all these different features. For this purpose of this class, I'm just going to show you this is a free, you're allowed very few daily generations and limited access to KEA tools. That's what we're using right now. So if I go into here, we have something that's called flux, which is creating high quality generations. If we click on that, I'm going to just say, I've done this in the past. I'm going to say, um, blue frog on a pink box or something like that. And then we generate it. And that's pretty simple, right? It's just there's no indication of what it is. You can go in here and change kind of like a reference image here. With a style and generate it again, if you want, the different styles are here. That seems to be kind of like a medieval. This is kind of a cartoony. This is almost real life, and then there's illustration there. You can also just do a random style and generate it again. So if I generate that again with a random style, it will give me something completely different. And you can see this is kind of idscent pretty cool images here, which is kind of a glass looking image. Here's my puppy. You can see he's got a very detailed nose and his face is kind of kind of like a portrait image here. You can select an area to look at. Here it's either vertical or horizontal. Change the region, drawing a rectangle on an area. So only that area if you want. You can cut objects, add an image, and then just say, let's go back. Undo. And let's just say I wanted to this region, right? Oops. Get back there. Go to change region. Let's say I wanted to change the color of this. So change color color of nose to red. And we'll generate and see what happens. So, it did change it, but it changed it only half of it, which is really odd. If I say cut objects, it's kind of strange. I can cut, I guess, the background out if I wanted to. Let's edit. Um, you know, it was okay, to be honest with you. It wasn't that great. You don't remember when they're editing in these programs, especially Crea and other ones to the same extent, they're replacing they're not really editing the image. They're replacing it with a similar image. And in the free version, you don't really have many controls, like you can't get fine tuned edits. So just keep that in mind, BlueFrogblue frog in a yellow car. All right. And that's the prompt. So this is called Alive you. We just like in our other lessons. It's very similar. You just change this, um, let's delete that together, actually. Let's do a random style. It's kind of funky. And then we can create we can do eraser. We can upload an image. We can add some shapes just like before. Now, this is just, if you look at it, it looks like kind of a car in the background. I'm really kind of disappointed. It's just putting in before, what you'd do is you would have they would create something out of this image, but it doesn't seem like it's doing that. Here, it's incorporating it into it. If I bring it up here, all it's showing is this round, you know, oval circle or whatever, oval image. Usually they would try to incorporate this into something different. Let's see if I can change. That's not really good. I don't like that. That's kind of busy. Let's change it from blue we'll put blue frog in New York City. See what happens there. And, um, There we go. Again, this is this is really very annoying, actually. It's not really becoming a part of the image. If I put this in the sky, it looks like it might be the moon. But what if I don't want that? What if I want this image to be part of the, um, of the style of the image before. If you looked at some of my other videos, this became an object. See? This is really disturbing. Not liking this at all. So okay. I don't have access to erase or delete. I can paint something if I wanted to, I think. So that's nice. What if I put a blue speck there? Now the frog is turning blue slowly. There we go. But it seems like I shouldn't have to do that. If I say blue frog in New York City, it should give me a blue frog in New York City, not something such as a green frog. Wouldn't you think? Um, if I do Command Z, see? For the most part, that's a green frog. If I put a swatch of blue there, that incorporates it into the picture, which is good. If I put blue down here, it provides a nice reflective puddle, which is really cool. Alright? But why isn't the frog blue? I put blue frog in New York City. Very disturbing. I got to give that a thumbs down. Alright, let's go back to Krea again. Not very big fan of real time. I think real time let us down there. And hanser let's see if I can draw bring my puppy back in. And we saw what it did before. Let's see what it does now. Um, This is gonna be hard because this was done in an iPhone with a portrait mode, so the background is purposely blurred. Let's see if this does anything for us. Now, here's the slider I was talking about. That one is great because it really captures the dog. If you look at the original, it's almost spot on. It added some fur to the nostril area, which is not correct. I did bring in some you know, if you look at the foreground here, the very lower right, it brought in some swirles there. It didn't really enhance it. And then it did do its best on the right side, where it gave us I think that's better. Do you think it's better? I mean, look at the forehead. The foreheads almost completely gone. So definitely, I think it did a great job there, I must admit. Now here, we can go Command Zero, looks like Command zero. It's saying fit. Okay. Yeah, I got to give that thumbs up for that. Alright, so that's that. And the last one I want to do is I want to go to the video. This is brand new. This is, we'll say, a Black lab, running through tall grass. Near the beach. Let's see what they do. It's gonna be doing 512 P at 7:20 P. We'll do 512 P. And let's see what it does. 1 minute remaining. This is pretty cool. It's gonna be creating a video for us. Um, Wow. So that is really, really good. I don't see any flaw. Do you see any flaws in that? Maybe a little bit in his lower back where he's running his back. Seems a little strange right there, but oh, that's really good. So that's brand new. I really like this a lot. This is in the free version, so that you got something really, really nice. This is only 512 P. You can add a sound. Um I'm not sure what the sound is. Stop letting me do the sound for some reason. Maybe it's free. But you can also have closed caption, which I believe is not available in the free version, but still, you can download this It's almost 1 megabyte. But still, it's pretty nice, huh? Let's say, I'm giving you a specific location. Let's see what happens. I'm done. Irad your plan. So you have commercial license. These are the plans right now. This is the basic $10. You have 720 flux images, 36,000 real time images, 180 enhanced images, three training jobs, commercial license. Then it always, the higher you go, the more you get. All right summing up, flux was good. I gave us some good blue frogs here, but it's limited on the styles it gives you only five. I'm not sure if that's because it's a free version, but you can check that if you do decide to go for the $10 version. Edit, I thought it was disappointing. I gave us a half of a red nose and also changed the nose entirely. Video I would give it a B plus. I thought it in the free version, give us 512 P and 720. I thought the video was excellent. It was a six second video, but it happened really quickly. Real time was a real disappointment. I think it went back in time, I didn't really do well. It's not a good upgrade at all. Enhancer also did a great job. I give it a B plus, as you saw in the examples, overall, Korea, in the free version, you do get a lot. So check it out, see if you like it. Let me know.
