1. Introduction: Hi and welcome to this course on New Infusion two point. Oh, for the iPad, the iPad is a powerful creative tool that can be used to do many things, including Edit Video and Luna Fusion. 2.0, is the best video editor on the iPad. In this course, we're going to be going over the basics of using Lumen Fusion to edit videos on your iPad will be going over things like the interface for Loom Infusion, How to Import Video, how to Cut and Trim Your Videos, how to adjust the color of your videos, how to add and edit music to your videos and how to add transitions and animations to your videos. We will only be covering the basics in this course. This course is really for beginners, those who are new to Luna Fusion or even who are new to video editing. But you will find parts of this course useful if you're just trying to get familiar with the changes in Luna Fusion two point. So let's go ahead. Let's dive in and let's start any video on our iPads using Loom Effusion two point
2. Project: The project for this course is to create a 123 minute video using bloom infusion. To point out for the iPad, you can create whatever kind of a video you want, but I will be using footage from a recent trip to Natural Bridges National Monument to create a travel video. Specifically, I will be doing a video about the hyped. It's a popular natural bridge. Make sure that your 123 minute video includes multiple clips that have been cut together and that you also do some color grading to the footage at some music to it. And make sure that you include a transition, at least one transition and at least one animation, such as a title. I am really looking forward to seeing all of the great things that you can create with them a fusion on your ipads. So please do take the time to complete the project and share it with us in the class project area of this course. We all learn better when we're able to look at each other's work and get feedback from each other, and from there we can improve and progress in our video editing skills
3. Creating a New Project: All right, We're going ahead here, and we are going to jump into bloom, infusion and get started learning how to set up our project. So when he first come to Loomer Fusion, you will probably be here on a blank screen. If you haven't used it before, you won't have any projects in the project party. You see, I have one title project here that I worked on that is still here, but I don't have anything else. And so we're going to go ahead and we're going to set up a project that we will use for this course. So in order to set up a project, we're actually going to hit the plus icon in the very bottom left corner. And that's going to give us the new project dialogue box and from here will be able to create our project. So I'm going to go ahead and name my project just by tapping on the text. And I'm going to call my project Natural Bridges because that is what I'm making a movie about. Natural Bridges National Monument. That's the footage that I have to use here. So we're going make a video about that and then we can select our frame rate. So right here you can choose between a lot of different types of frame rates. So I'm actually going to choose to go to 29.97 because I know my footage was shot at 59.94 29.97 is half of that, because I want to be able to do slow motion when I want to. I'm going to go with the 29.97 If you know what your footage was shot at, then go ahead and select the frame right here and the aspect ratio. I'm going to go ahead and keep that at 16 by nine. But there's a bunch of different aspect ratios you can choose from to match what you're using. And so if you know what you can set it, you can also change this later if you need to you. Now the thing that you have to do next is actually hit the plus button in the top right of this dialog box. That's the part that sometimes confusing because you kind of expect it to be down at the bottom where you get to at the end and then hit Create. But you actually have to hit the plus up here, and that will go ahead and make you a new project. If you ever want to get back to that projects pain, you just going to go to the bottom right and hit the little icon with the plus and the square and lights and that will take you back here so you can see we now have the projects here, and then we can just tap into our project. So that's how you create a project in loom infusion, and we're going to go ahead. And in the next video, we're going to explore the interface a little bit and figure out what's going on in all these different pains.
4. Interface Tour: Okay, so let's go ahead and look at the interface here in the refuge in two point. Oh, if you used loom infusion one, then this will seem very similar to you. It's pretty simple if you're coming from the other one, but let's just go over Where did the different panels are and what's going on? So over in the top left part of the screen, we have the files or the sources panel, as it's called here. This will change up quite a bit when iPad OS comes out that will be coming out in the fall of 2019. So keep looking for that because that will change a lot of how files are handled inside of them. Infusion and other creative APS. But right now we have different sources. We can pull straight from our photos and we can pull from our imported files. If we subscribe to storey blocks, we can pull from that, so we'll be using sources to add things in. And right now I'm just going to go ahead and look at my imported, and you can see across the top of this pain where you're at and any given time, so right now, I'm in the importing folder. I'm gonna go to box Net because that's where my footage for this trip is that will concede that on the right is actually the media viewer. And so if we tap on, a piece of footage will actually have our media viewer appear on the right. Okay, we'll talk more about that as we go into importing footage, but that's where we can see our footage and cr edit it. Just for the sake of seeing how things go here, I'm going to go ahead and drop this footage down into our main pain to zoom in and out on the main editing pain. You just use pinch gestures, so that's pretty common. And you can see I am getting a warning on this clip. That's why have the little exclamation point and this little yellow warning under stap on it to clear it. It's just telling me that this is a big clip because it was shot in four K at 60 frames per second and that my iPad, it might not be able to handle it. That just means they might have some trouble with playback speeds, but it will be able to export it fine once I've edited. Really, my iPad seems to be handling fairly well, considering that even APs like premier struggle. Sometimes when we bring large files into them, I'm using an iPad to 2018. So it's just the base model and it can still edit video. But it gives me the warning just because the experience isn't going to be as good as, say, if I were editing on an IPAD pro. The next thing knows that at the bottom of the media viewer, there's actually a navigation bar for your project. And so that's that blue line, and you can actually move along there to scrub to any place in your video automatically. You can also tap, and you will jump around, and so you don't have to zoom in and out all the time anymore. You can just jump from place to place. If you want to add a market to your video, you can do that with the martyr plus icon. That's just below that bar, and that will actually drop marker in that you can color that wanted to make a cut here. I could say that, then I'll have a marker on my footage, and I can get right back there so that could be useful when you're doing a complex at it in the bottom right corner of this media of you pain, you have the undo and redo pines, and you also have this, but in that looks like an airplane button that will allow you to use an external monitor if you have one attached. And then, of course, you have your plate controls in the center. One thing you can do is you can hold down on the play button and to get more controlled frame by frame scrubbing options moving on down. You can actually adjust your volume controls on the left side of the editing timeline so you can actually control the volume there. If you want to see more volume options, you can hit the sound bars that will show you different track options for volume. If you want to see other track controls, you can tap the icon in the bottom left, and that will open up your link lock and visibility and soloing options so you can just kept that on and off as you need those controls. If you want to add a track, you can just hit the plus button, and then you can add different types of tracks into your project, depending on what you have available to you, to access the editing controls in the bottom middle that you need to have a clip selected except for the cut command, which you can always access and cut wherever your play head is. So I can just hit the scissors and it will cut immediately went under that. Now then, if we have the clip selected, we have the duplicate clip option, which will automatically duplicate that next to it. We also have the audio on Link option, which will separate out the audio into its own track. Remember that in loom infusion to you get up to six tracks of audio and six tracks of video , so you can definitely separate out your audio if you need to. You also have the link option to link clips together. If you have multiple selected and then you have the edit option, this will take you in toothy edit window. The edit window is where you can do a lot of your work on a clip. You have things like the audio controls, which we'll talk about in more detail later. You have speed controls, you have motion controls, and at the right you have color and effects. So there's a lot of things you can do in here. We'll touch on a lot of different options as we go through the course. But of course we won't get into everything because some of its more advanced than this course is going to go into next. We have the presets option. So these are things that you can save or three sets that have already been put in for you, that you can easily apply without going into the full editing pain. Then we have the clipboard, which we can use to copy and paste various different attributes from our selection. And then, of course, the cut option that we used previously. And then the trash option, which will delete the clip moving on to the next one. These air more settings and options, and so we have the share option, which is how we will export at the end of the course, and then we have the set up option, which will actually allow us to change how the set up is for our windows so we can switch it to different kinds. But I really prefer the default set up, so I'm going to switch it back to the default and then we have the settings icon. If we hold down on this will actually get the tool tips for all of the icons on the screen , which is very useful. If you can't remember where something is or what something does it, we tap the settings will actually get options for a lot of different projects. Settings. So this is super useful. It's good place where you can get in and you can change like you fit mode. You can change how long photos and titles and transitions will last for. There's a lot of different options here that you can change. You're ducking preferences, you clean up. This is if you're getting really bogged down with a lot of files that have been left over, then there's even a help to get you to their website to get help on things and then, of course, the project, but in which we've already talked about, which will take us back to the project panel so That is the basics of the interface in Lumen Fusion, too. In the next video, we will be talking about importing.
5. Importing Footage Into LumaFusion: this'll video, we're going to learn how to import footage into the Lumen Fusion app on iPad. Now, importing from your camera roll is really very easy. In the top left corner, you have your sources and you're just going to tap on the folder and you can choose a different sources that you want to draw from. In this case, we're going to go to photos and we can see all of our albums or we can hit all photos and videos and then you can just bring in footage. From there, you actually don't need to import it into a bin or anything. You could just bring it directly in. So say, I wanted to bring in this footage here. I can just grab that and I can drop it onto one of my video tracks and that's it. It's done. When do that, if you want to bring footage from anywhere else, it could be a little bit more tricky. Currently, looming Fusion has been able to make their app work with the NAR box and the W D wireless strives. I don't have any of those. Those are pretty expensive hard drives or SS D's that can actually connect wirelessly to the iPad. But I don't think you need to get one of those. Necessarily, because as soon as iPad OS comes out in the fall of 2019 you will be able to connect an external drive to your iPad, and that will help out with this a lot. It will be a lot easier to import things, but for now, we need Teoh get files into the imported file. And you saw this in the last video? I have a bunch in there already. Inbox dot net. And that's because I have used the cloud service box to store a bunch of videos and then bring them to the Loom Infusion folder. So we're gonna have to go to the files app to see how this works. Right? So we're in the files app and in the files app. If you have any of the files, you can actually tap on them, and it will take a second, and it will actually download them, and then you can send them to another location. So this is just a still picture. I don't want to take the whole time to do this with a video file. But if I want to send this still picture, I can select it inside of the files up on the iPad and then hit the share button in the top right, and then I can choose copy to loom infusion. So now this image will appear actually in iCloud Drive, and we have it right there, and we can actually just dragged that guy there on tour timely if we want him there. And so that's how you can import footage from something that's not your camera. Roll into loom effusion. If it's connected to your files app, it's a little bit clunky. You have to figure out how it works with whichever service you're using, but it can be done, and hopefully it will get easier soon. In the next video, we're going to talk about trimming and cutting videos.
6. Cutting and Trimming Videos: Now we know how to get our footage in, and we know the interface here, in them effusion. We actually need to start building our video. We're going to go ahead and I'm going to grab my footage. You can use whatever footed you want. This is going to be a travel video for May. So I'm going to be doing our trip to Natural Bridges National Monument. And so I'm going to be using that. But you can use whatever footed you want. If you have some footage from a trip, that would be great idea. Here is just to make a simple and a short video kind of re capping our trip that will just have some music on it. We probably won't be using any audio from the footage itself. So I'm going to go ahead and help on this. And once I tapped on a piece of footage in Thesaurus is panel. Then I will get that to come up in my media viewer and I can start looking at it there so I can hit play and I can play it through. I would I wanted to is select. And in an out point, if I like the footage I can just drag to script through. Okay, I don't particularly like any of that footage, So when we move onto the next one, see if I get anything better, you can see the playback is a little bit jittery here. These are big files. My iPad is not a super strong iPad, and so it will be a little bit jittery. That's why I am getting a warning on all of these files. If you have a more powerful iPad than me or smaller files, you'll see even more improved performance, and it's still very usable. So I'm going to go ahead, and there's a couple ways I can set my in and out point here. I can tap on the in point right there in the control bar for the media viewer, or I can actually drag the yellow handle on the scrubber itself. So the other way that you can do that is that you can actually use a swipe gesture to set it. So if I swipe down, it will actually set my in point swiped down on the media viewer itself. And then when I find my outpoint, you just swipe up, and that's how I like to do it. I just like to use the gestures. Think that's faster and you can see that the new time appears in blue. And then we can just drag that clip down into the time light that we can play through it. Now this audio, it's all just street noise. It doesn't do anything for me, so I can just detach that audio. If you remember that, it's just in the bottom menu and it's the audio waves symbol. I can detach that, and then I can go ahead and I can select that. You can tell that these two clips, air linked because of this little white line at the very left edge of them, shows that they are linked together. But I want to just delete this one so I will select it and then I will hit the trash can and it will be gone. And now there's no audio attached to it, even though they left the audio waveform showing it does not play that audio at all. So I guess they leave the way form showing if you need that for sinking reasons. All right, so using the play view is the first way do that. But let's say we then grab this next clip and we didn't look through in the media viewer. We just dropped it in. We can actually trim that here in the timeline itself so we can get to the part that we want. And then we can just grab the arrow and that will actually trim that clip right to there. So it's pretty simple. It's a magnetic timeline, so it pulls the other footage with it complaint through until we see the end. So I want to split it there. I just put my play head there, and then I hit the scissors and then I split that clip script through the rest of this. Okay, okay. So I definitely want to trim off the end where the camera comes back inside the car. And I don't really want that right there. So I can just drag that up into another track on the timeline, and that is a simple way to put that some place and then we can use it for later. I can then turn off the visibility of that track by opening up the track menu in the bottom left hand corner, and then I can just hit the eyeball and then I won't see that. It won't be in my way, but I can use that later if I want to. OK, so that is pretty simple. That's how you cut and how you trim. They really make it easy to do here. There's not a lot of complicated stuff to learn about the trimming and things. So now I'm just going to go ahead and I'm going to put together the rough cut. I will speed that up because obviously watching that in real time would not be the funnest thing to do. So I will speed that up considerably as we go here. Probably not show the whole process, but I'll, I'll show some of it so you can see how this works.
7. Making the Rough Cut: - don't it's.
8. Adjusting Video Speed: eso. One thing that you might want to do while you are editing is changed the speed of a clip. And we know that we can do that from the editing menu. So this clip I want to speed up. So I'm just going to open up the editor while I have this clip selected. And once the editor opens up, we can actually adjust the speed. So I'll just hit the speed and reverse here and actually want this to be faster. So I'm just going to go ahead and speed this up to double and see what play bike looks like at double speed. Okay, so that's how we would speed up the clip. So this is now at triple speed, and then we just hit back to go back.
9. Adding Music: Now that we have a rough cut of our film together, we are going to go ahead and see how we would add music into something like this. So the first thing that we do want to do is just kill the audio on all of our tracks. So if we want to just turn off the audio on our main track, we can do that by hitting the audio. But in which is just looks like the audio bars in the bottom left. And then we can just hit the speaker icon to mute that Sagan see when it's off. There's nothing moving there, and when it's turned on, the bars move up and down, so we want to have that be off. So now we can go ahead and add our music into a different track. You can have up to six single audio tracks in your project, and then you can have up to six tracks of video that can also be audio, and so you can have quite a lot going on. But we're going to keep it simple with just one audio track of music. For this video to get music in, there's a couple different things you can do. Let's go up here in the sources and let's actually go chew This thing called storey blocks . So Storey Blocks is a subscription stock service, and they do have some music, some loops and some sound effects here. And of course, you can subscribe to use a whole bunch of different ones, or you can just use their free ones. So there's a few free ones and we can touch this that will pop into our viewer. And then we can listen to what it sounds like and decide if it's right for our video. But you can see if we go ahead and we switch over to the square view. There are a bunch of free music, but then most of them are not actually free. You can see the free is not there, so you can subscribe straight from inside of looming fusion and get access to the whole library, which I'm sure is great. But I prefer to use re stock music, so I'm going Teoh, use it from just a website, and the trouble with this is that it's really hard to download music onto your iPad from a website right now and again. That's something that will probably change in iPad OS. But for now, it's difficult to do that. There are some work arounds you can get, like downloading APs and stuff like that. But really, we just won't be able to go to a free stock music site and download a track and then use it is not that easy. So the way that I found is the best to do. This is to actually do that on your computer, so I do it on my Mac. And then it's really easy from a Mac to just airdrop to an iPad. And so that's why if we go back here toothy, imported and then to the imported folder, I actually have an airdrop folder with some music in it. So I've downloaded a free track from Ben Sound, and then I have brought that track here through air drops. Eyedrops have air, dropped it in to loom infusion here. So that's how you would bring music in right now again. That might change, or you can use storey blocks, or you can use music tracks from your iTunes library. There's a bunch of different ways to do it but I'm just going drag this on right now. Then we'll be able to hear this music with our track waken watch through our rough cut with the music and we can see what we like about it. And of course, music We can cut and trim in exactly the same way. So if I just wanted to trim this to the end of my video, I could just pull that over here and trim it right there against the man with the pinch gesture so that I can line those up properly. Okay, so now that we have our music in, we've cut it at the end here. But we might want to be able to fade it out, watch this at the end here, just cuts. So we might want to actually fade that out. So we're going to go ahead and we can edit this just like we would edit anything else. So, like, the clip and then we select edit, and then we have just the audio and the speed panel, and what we want to do is just fade this out at the end. This is pretty easy. We're going to go ahead and add a key frame where we want to fade it right about here and the key frame. We just hit the volume key frame there and that will set it at full volume and then we will scroll to the end. And when we bring the volume all the way down, that will add another key frame to it. And there isn't a way to like Speed ramp here in Lima fusion yet, so it's pretty much a linear drop off. For the most part, we could add in a bunch of key France, but for this one, we just need linear. So then we can see how that sounds. Unfortunately, you cannot easily move key frame. So if we wanted to change where this was at, we actually have to go here and then we have to delete the key frame and add another one. So if we wanted this to fade out longer, we could add another key frame here and then we have to go to the one that we already put in. We're on that we can actually hit the remove key frame, but the removed but into the left will actually remove all key frames that are set. So you want to be careful there. Okay. To exit this audio editing, we just go ahead and hit the back arrow in the top left corner and we're back out.
10. Transitions: throw in this video, we are going to look at adding transitions in between cuts of our video. So we want to you just scrub belong to our first cut and see what that looks like. So normally just play through. And then we will chairman. What to you? So transitions are found under the sources menu and then just transitions, and there are a number of them. Some people will make their own transitions, but for this course, we're just going to be using the basic ones that are provided here. The one thing that I like to do is to look at the direction the camera's going before the transition, and then the direction that is going after and see if we can match one of those directions . There are a lot of different transitions we can choose from, and I think I'm going to do a wipe down left and see how that looks, because I think that will follow the motion of the camera onto the flowers you just tap and then dragged that transition down and drop it between two clips. Then you can zoom in on it, and you can see that it sets it at one second, half a second on each clip, and you can actually adjust that if you want to. So let's watch this. And so if we wanted to shorten that up, we can just drag it in so we can do that with each of our lips. Sometimes it will get hung up because it needs to. You kind of render through the transition. You have to give it a second. Sometimes just scrubbing through it will help. Always remember that if you want to jump around, you can use the quick timeline just under the media viewer. And that can jump you from cut to get really easily so you can set it to the middle, like I have been doing, or you consider it to just one or the other on this one. I'm going try just setting on the arch one. See what happens there. Looks like that is actually cutting it to a black screen momentarily, which I don't really want. If you want to preview a transition without your footage, you can tap on it to load it into the media viewer, and then you can see what it will look like. A is always the first clip, and B is always the second clip. Been on a break. That's just a continuation of the clip, but there's some kind of change happening. Like here. We're going into slow motion. We don't need a transitional weaken. Just let it to transition into the slow motion. - Then at the end, something to be aware of is that your transition will have put clips over the top of each other. And so your sound, your music will actually have got an extended. And so you're going to need to pull that back and that it go in and check your fate so it looks like our fate is still there. No problems you want. Check that to make sure it's still good. So that's how you would go about adding transitions into your video. In them. A fusion. In the next video, we'll be talking about some basic color editing in order to kind of bring up our flat footed
11. Color Correcting: in this field, we're going be talking about very simple basic color correction in bloom a fusion. So in order to do a color correction, you are actually going to select the clip and then down at the bottom. We're just going to jump into our edit menu, which is the pencil, and we see our clip here and along the bottom. We choose the one for this right, which looks like a box with an asterisk in it, that it's the color and effects, and we're going to go ahead and do this. First off, you get a toolbar in the top of right that lets you cycle between different types of presets, and the 1st 1 is colored presets, and that's the one we are going to be working in. So bloomin fusion is not the most fully functional color grader in the world, which why we're really only going to be doing color corrections. Now you can use let's if you know how to use those, and that is the next one over from the paint palette. It's the box, and those are, let's and so you can import. Let's if you have them, you can't do a ton of different color things as far as color grading goes in loom infusion . It just doesn't have as many options as, say, something like DaVinci resolved us. But if you've made a lot elsewhere, you can bring that in. Some people will, you know, make a let in affinity photo, and then they'll bring that in. But in this video, we're just going to talking about color, and we do have to apply a preset, which is just like a filter to the video in order to be able to edit the color on it. But you can apply one that's just original, and then you see you get a layer here. It hasn't actually changed anything. It's just giving you the original color that you started with. So the very first thing that we have is levels, and I am going to go ahead and adjust the levels by bringing our black down and then adjusting our darks. This does not give you as much control as, say, a curves adjustment or working with the parade in an actual color grading program. But we can do at least something to make it look a little bit better here on then we can control our brightness. We can drop our brightness down a little. Here we can do fine tuned adjustments with the arrows on either side of the slider. Don't bring it brightness down a little. If we ever want to see our original, we just click the eyeball and at a little contrast, and then we can do saturation or vibrance or both. And I start with Vibrance. We certainly shot this in a flatter profile. So this was shot on an osmo action. Indecent, like so we do need to bring some color back into it. You can see we're getting a lot more depth there, and I'm going to bring our highlights and down a bit here played the radius to see where I like it. Just bring the shadows up slightly. All right, then we get into the color. And this is where if your color is off, you can adjust it. So say it's looking really blew. You can add some yellow into the picture, but you can't really do much as far as actually creating a different type of look here because you don't have the full curves. You just have thes sliders so you could make it look grey, blue, very yellow. You want to be really kind of subtle in what you do here on try just adding some red, so I'll drag it up to kind of see where it's going. Then I'll put it back and then just barely add a little there. Okay, that is certainly looking better the gamma flight up or down to adjust kind of the overall brightness of the image. I don't think we need to do that here. And then Hugh will actually change the killer cast of the image completely. If you're going for something a little bit more out there, I'm not. So I'm going to put it back at zero, then tens. You can actually select a color to tent. You can use the eyedropper to select something. Say you wanted to give it this green tent, contended Green that if you'd want to get rid of it, tend to you just click the color will and choose white, and that will reset it right there can also use the color wheel to select a tent adjustment . We wanted to tend to everything a little range we can just out back that saturation. I don't like that. So I'm just gonna go back toe white to reset it. There is no highlight shadow tinting here, so I can't really do the teal and orange look with just this color presets set up. So really, just trying to correct our footage. Not great. It here. That's pretty simple and easy. We've got it looking much better than it did before. Okay, so let's go back. And if you can see here when we transition, we're transitioning to something that is still very flat. And so we want to actually copy are color correction from this first clip. So we'll go ahead and going to our clipboard in the bottom. We can choose to copy and then going here to our next clip, go to the clipboard, and we can choose what we're going to paste. And the only thing that we want to paste is our color. So we will de select all of those others, keeping only the color highlighted in blue. And then we will choose paste, and then our color for other clip is transferred to here. It would just go and go ahead, and we're going to do that for each one we want. Check and make sure that it actually makes sense. We might need to go in and adjust things with it. If need be, make sure that you select it, then paste. Since all of these clips were shot on the same day with very similar lighting, they really can mostly take the same one. This one's a little bit more in shadow, so we'll have to see how it takes it. So just in your colors just adds a little bit more life into the flat ones and helps your video to look better. Go ahead and adjust your colors, and in the next video, we'll learn how to add titles onto our video.
12. Adding and Animating Titles: thing, this video we are going to you go ahead and add a title to the beginning of our video. So adding titles is fairly simple and straightforward. In Lumen Fusion in your sources panel, you just choose titles and you will get a bunch of different title options that you can scroll through to choose from. Some of them are pretty cheesy, but what I'm looking for is just a plain title for the center. So I'm going. Go ahead and choose plain White. You can actually search for that by tapping on the search and just typing in plain and search, and then you get plain wife. I'm just going drag that down. This will give us the most options as we edit it so we can drag that down. I want to come in shortly into the video so I would drag you down to just about there, and then we're going to go ahead and edited it by choosing the edit box. Now you can see we have layers here on the right hand side, just like we did before, so let's go ahead and we can twirl down this layer to get all of our text options with that layer selected to edit the text. We can actually come here and we can edit it in the text box. Okay, so this is thesis Pop, you bridge. So we're going to type in Pappu Bridge. So now we have that checks. Now we can make changes to that text. First, I'm gonna go and select a Fallen and I have quicksand online because I like that font. You've probably seen it in a bunch of my videos. We're gonna go ahead and terms that too quick, sand regular. And there's a lot of different things we can do with this. I'm going to go ahead and add a little shadow, chew it, but bring the distance back just to give it a little depth there. All right, I think I'm going to go, and I'm going to at the word hike to the end of this, and then we can actually add things to this is what we can add other layers. So we control that up, and then we can add a new layer and we can add a text, a shape Orel image. Later, I'm going to add a text layer to it. and I'm going to drag that layer down on. We go ahead and switch it same front and give it that shadow and then edit the text to say natural bridges. And then let's go ahead and add one more. Let's at a shape and there's a lot of different kinds of shapes. Change this to line three pixel. Don't drag that down. Tried line one picks on that, I think works better. Go ahead and get our shadow. No, I've got that and we can exit this by hitting the arrow in the top left, and we can watch it here. And I think I wanted to actually appear gradually over the course of this. Someone dragged out here, give it a little bit longer length as we're going, and then inside the edit menu will go ahead and we'll key frame this to come in. Let's edit again, and the first thing that we're going to is at the beginning. We're going to change two frames and fit, and we're going to set a key frame under blending so it will hit our plus key frame button , and we will set that to 0%. Then we'll scrub forward right here. We will keep frame that to 100%. We can go back to the beginning and we can watch that again. And you can see it appears gradually there. So that is right. At 4.1 That that happens and then write about seven ish will set a another key frame. And we wanted to stay at 100% for that. But then at the end, we'll go ahead and will set the other key frame to be 0%. So now we should see it fade as we watch this. Okay, great. If we switch to our effects, we can actually add a Blair here. And what we want is to start here with the radius of five. Remember the time were coming all the way into focus? We want that radius to be zero so that it's fully and focus. So now let's jump back here. Let's watch this whole thing to kind of blur it in and we can do the same thing we did before, right? About seven. Said it to have no blur. And by the end, have it be five again. Watch the whole thing. Perfect. OK, So now we've got our title there and it's back up here and we can watch it play through again. Great. So that's how you go about adding a title and key framing it to appear. Ambler. There's a lot more that you can do with titles and key frames and movement. But that's kind of the simple way to go about doing it. And then we'll just go ahead and we will do this again. Will jump to the end and we're going to actually add a title again right here. We're just going to have it be on. The black background will go into edit just so you can see this again and click on it and she's at it and we will now add in our credits. Of course, at the bottom we want to give credit for music, the same music by Spencer and we need to adjust our size a little so we'll go back here and we will just adjust our size until it fits everything. We want to go ahead and at our website in, we'll change our front so that it matches what we do that we'll need to you just our size again, and then we want to go ahead and adding motion key frame to you. Bring this up. So when it starts, we're going to go ahead and we're going to have its position be down here, and we want to make sure that our position X stays at zero. So if it doesn't stand zero, we can just bring it back to you. Zero there. So it was going to start it down here, had a key frame, and then by the end, we want it to be gone. Of course, we want to go back to you being at zero on our X. Now we can play through it, see what we get. Perfect. So now we've got some ruling credits there, and the last thing that we want to do is extend our music behind her ruling credits and then edit to make sure our music still has Its fate does perfect. And we want to go add another transition in cancel our search coated transitions and we will just grab it. Crossed is off. Just our music. One more time and that's it. We have successfully made our video zoom out so we can see the whole thing. And the last thing that we need to do it is export. So in the next video, we will export.
13. Exporting: Okay, So in this video, we're going to go ahead and learn how to export our video. Now that we're done making it exporting is fairly simple. In loom infusion, we just go ahead and we hit the share button, which is the box with the arrow coming out of it in the bottom right menu. And from there we can choose what we want to export. Weaken, do the movie the audio. Only we can do it as eight Lumet Fusion Project Package or a snapshot. Now, for the most part, we're just gonna want to export a movie. So that's what we're going choose. Then we need to choose a destination. Most of the time. This is probably just going to be going into your photos app to start out with. But you could go directly to YouTube if you had a really good Internet connection or in the future will probably going to an external drive in iPad os. But right now I'm just going to this to my photos up. And then there are the settings we want it to be in 10 80 p. Now we could go higher, you know, because this was shot in four K. But I really don't have a reason to have a version of this. That is four K. Most people are just gonna watch it on YouTube with compression anyways, so that's fine. Our frame rate is 30 frames per second because we're filming in 60 our video quality. We can choose some different options, but I really think that standard will be fine for what we are doing. Our video Kodak is H 264 That's what we want. We could go with h 265 but for right now I'm sticking with age 264 That's just still kind of this standard. H 265 has not caught on completely yet. I'm sure it will in the future, and we'll be doing it in that because that's what Apple's really going for. But right now we're just going to stick with that. We want our video and or audio. Our audio quality is going to be fine at 44.1 kilohertz, and we want it to be an impact for rather than a M O V just because MP force taking more places. Although a movie is fairly good as well, so you could choose that it is not 3 60 videos. So we just leave it on normal video. And it does tells how much space that we need and nicely, It also tells us how much space is available so that we don't start this if we don't have enough space to finish it. And then we are just going to go ahead and in the top, right corner, hit the share button, and here it goes. We're just going to then wait for this to go ahead and render and finish exporting, which may take a minute. Here. It is a fairly large file for this I pad to be working on. Okay, so now it is exported. We can hop over to our photos up and we can see it. Okay, So here is the video. See that it's rendered through all of our titles. Transitions. - Don't that is it?
