1. Introduction to Class: Hello, everyone. Welcome to my new Skillshare class. In this class, you are going to learn how to make kids cloth doodles. You will learn various doodles in this class, and as the lessons progress, you will learn more. In the next lesson, I have discussed all the material that I'm going to use in this class and what all you can use for this class. At time, there will be a project work waiting for you that will help me know what you have learned from this class and will help you judge your progress from this class. If you wish, you can directly jump to the project section and learn what you have to submit as your project, so that when you go through the class, you must have an idea what you should focus more and what you can skip. So we are done with the introduction. Let's move to the next lesson to check out the materials that we need for this class. 2. Material Required: So for this class, we need a simple plain white sheet for doodling. Here, you can also use a colored sheet or any scrapbook or any paper that you want to draw a doodle on. This is totally up to you. Then we need a pencil and an eraser to make our doodles. And at last, we need some color pens or some colors. You may use crayons or maybe sketch pens or whatever medium you want to use. I will be using plastic crayons and Nibal pens for drawing and for coloring, you may use as per your requirement. So this was all for the material required. Let's jump to the next lesson for start with our class. 3. A Pair of Socks: Hello, everyone. In this lesson, you are going to learn how to doodle a pair of socks for kids. Here, for drawing the socks, I'm using white sheet. If you want to use any colored sheet or if you want to do it in a drawing file or scrapbook, you can go for that. That is your choice. Now to draw it, I'm using a pencil and I'm making it very light handed because I don't want to have any marks on my sheet. So when if I draw something wrong, I can use my eraser to erase it, and it will leave no marks on my sheet. As you can see here, no line is a perfect straight. This is a bit curvy line, and here I feel that the feet is going a little larger as compared to the length of the socks. I am reducing it, see? I have used eraser here and have left no marks on my sheet. So keep in mind about the curve lines and the straight lines. Basic structure of a sock is ready. Let us make it spare, and it is going to be curved from above side, and all the lines will follow as we have done in the first one. As we are making it at a backside of first one, it will be shown only half. Now, let us give it some depth and do some shading at the topmost part of the sock so that it will look a bit three d. Now, I'm making a simple two leaf design on socks. I'm going to make three pairs of this so that it looks like a uniform design on the socks. We will make the same design on both the socks. If you want to change the design that is in your hands, you can go for some different design. Now I'm going to use this black fine pen to outline all the lines that we have made and the design we will do with different pens. You can use different color pens to color into these leaves if you want. Here, I am outlining these using the black pen itself, and later I will fill the colors using different color pens. Here I'm going to use Unibal pens of three colors green, red and blue to color it. Now, as you can see here, I'm using blue UNIPal pen to color into the leaves. Now using red univalPen to make a design line below all the two leaf pair design. Now, time to use green univalPen to make a little of highlight or we can say an outline of the socks. Now, using pink plastic crayon to colour into the rest part of the socks. Here, you can use any other color medium if you want to. I am going with plastic crayons because these crayons are very light color, and here I'm making a light color sock. So, this lesson sums up with a pair of socks. Let's move to the next lesson for the next Toodle. 4. A frock: Now, welcome back. In this lesson, we are going to learn how to draw a simple skirt frock for girls. Simply draw a small neck line and then a bit of shoulders. I'm not drawing the sleeves because it is a girl child frock that looks good without sleeves and now I'm drawing the upper part of the frock, joining the waist part, and then again making a line to make a belt, to make a belt and doubling the line that I have made for the waistline. I feel it is a bit longer, so I'm making it smaller. Now to make frills. We now have to make frills to make it a frog. Making two slant lines on both sides and then joining it with curved line or we can say a wavy line. This shows the first layer of the frills. Now extending the two slant lines and then again joining them with the help of a curvy line or we can say the wavy line. Make sure to make the wavy line exact wave at the corners. If you're going to make corners very rigid, it will not look good. You have to make the corners where you are joining the wavy line and the slant line a bit curvy. Now, the third layer, which will make it look like a princess frock. Here, third line and then the wavy line to join the two lines. Basic drawing of the frock is now complete. Let us now take a sketch pen to outline this. I'm taking a pink color to make it look like a princess frock and then outlining it very carefully. Make sure not to do much of outlining because this is a very small doodle and doing much of outlining may result into a very messy one. Simple outline with simple sketch pen is more than enough. Now to highlight the belt area, I have taken another sketchpin of bluish color. So just make a small buckle of the belt and colour it. Now I'm using green crayon to color the frills, and here I'm using this color to color the frill which is in the middle and you can choose the colors and the medium of colors yourself. For example, if you want to put any color in this frill, you can do so you are free to do so. Choose colors as per your wish, and also you can change the medium. Here I'm using crayon colors. You can use sketch pens, brush pens, pencil colors or any other colors that you wish to use. Now I'm using red crayon color to fill into the bottom layer of the frock, which was the lowest most frill of the frock. Here, I'm using the same color to fill into the uppermost frill of the frock, but you can change it if you wish so. Using sky blue color to fill into the upper part of the frock. M. Now, using the black point pen to make the highlights or we can see the details. I love add detailings into my drawings, so I'm using the black pen to add details to the frock. These are very small details that will make our drawing look beautiful. So I assure you you must try adding details to your frocks also. You can choose the type of detailings as per your choice. I have made a very simple and easy detailing. If you want to make any other kind of detailing part, you can do so. This completes our frog doodle. See you in the next lesson. Bye. 5. A skirt: Welcome back. In this lesson, we are going to learn how to doodle a cute skirt for girls. Here, I'm using a pencil to draw the skirt first, and later on I'll use the sketch pens to color them and outline. For detailing, I'll show you a black pen that I'll use. Firstly, make a rectangle to show the belt area of the skirt, and then two slant lines to show the sides of the skirt. Now, draw a wavy line at the bottom to show that it is a cloth and it is flexible. I have added lines into the skirt to show a bit more details. That's it. Now I'm using black pen to outline the skirt that I have drawn with pencil. Be very careful while outlining. You can also use any other color to outline your skirt depends upon your choice. Now, I'm using green sketch pen to color alternate plates in the skirt. Here, starting from the corner, then leaving one plate and then coloring the other. You can choose any other color to do so. Here, you can leave this skirt with coloring into alternate colors, but I am going to use one more color to colour the skirt. You can choose a combination as per your old memories or maybe as for something you like. I'm now using orange color to colour the plates that are left. I love the combination that green with orange makes, and if you are in love with any other combination of colors, go with them. Just play with the colors around and show what you can do with the doodles. Now it's the time to color the belt area for that I'm using a brown color. You can use any other color that you want to. Now, I'm using the black pen to draw a bit of dots into the orange area only. This shows a buttons like big buttons onto the skirt. This looks good. You can add any other detail part that you like to do so. This completes skirt Dodo, I'm writing its name here or skirt thank you for joining in this lesson, see you in the next lesson soon. Bye bye. 6. A Tie: Now, in this lesson, we are going to draw a ti doodle. For drawing this, I'm going to use a pencil and I will draw very lightly so that if I get any mistake done in this, I can erase it and change it and my sheet will not be damaged. So for the ti doodle, draw a small triangle like I did. It is not a very rigid line triangle, but a little puffy one. Okay, and then draw two lines slant lines that will make a part of a cone and then join them. Now, I am here making the shape a bit correct, and this is done. You can make a bit of lines into it for retailing part and all. I'm using the black pen to outline this and later on I'll put the detailing part. Once the outlining is done, I suggest you to rub off the extra pencil that is visible. Now you can use any color pen or your black pen itself to draw lines into it to show some detailings or some pattern or design into a tie. Here, I'm using black pen to draw lines, and this will be my pattern in this tie. You can put any flower pattern or any other pattern that you wish to You can also play with colors in this. I mostly like to put brown color into the tie so that it looks a bit of formal kind of a tie, and I'm using brown crayon color here instead of sketch colors because with crayon colors, I can draw it very lightly. I can put colors very lightly. That will give an official look. And now red crayon to add color to the alternate stripe that we have made. Now, using the black pen for the detailing part in detailing, as it is a very small doodle, I'm only adding a bit of dots. That's it. If you are making any other design, you can go with any other design. Now the tire oodle is complete. Thank you for joining. See you in the next lesson. Bye bye. 7. A T Shirt: Welcome back. In this lesson, we are going to learn how to doodle half sleeve shirt for boys. Here, I'm drawing the neck line and then the shoulder part of the shirt. Joining with the shoulder, draw the sleeves. Make sure it is a short one because this is half sleeve shirt, and then draw the sidelines and then join them from the bottom. While drawing a shirt or maybe a t shirt, sometimes it happens that one hand or one sleeve feels to be a little upper side and the other to the lower side. So you can use eraser for this and then make the necessary corrections. You can choose any shape for the neckline that is totally up to you. Now I'm using black pen to outline the complete doodle that we have made. You can use a sketch pen or any other colour pen to do so. That is up to you. I'm adding a pocket to the left side of the t shirt and also adding a button spot into the T shirt. It is your choice whether you want to add them or not, the choice of design, the color that totally up to you. Here, I'm using dark blue colour to colour the whole t shirt, except the borderlines, the collar line, and the pocket. You can use any other color that you wish to, or you can also make it a multicolor t shirt. And if you have added some design, you can colour them accordingly. Here, I'm using red color for the colors and the sleeves and the pocket. You can also use any other color or maybe red. Here, you could use any other color medium, also. I am using crayon colors to fill into the clothes because I believe crayons can give better cloth texture as compared to the sketch pens or any other color medium. This completes T shirt doodle, so stay honed for more doodles in the next lesson. H. 8. A Pair of Shorts: Welcome back. In this lesson, we're going to learn how to doodle shorts for men or we can say boys. Here, draw the waistline by making a rectangle and then two slant lines to show the sides of the legs. Then as we did in trousers, we have to make a v shape in the center to show the partition between the two legs. Here, the basic Toodle is complete. Now, use yellow color to color into the shots. You can use any color as per your wish. Here, I am not doing the outline first and doing the coloring first because this is yellow color and it spreads when we use any black color with it. I'm coloring the whole bloomer, or we can say shots with the yellow color and later on I'll outline and add details to it. I am using black pen to outline the shots. You can use any color. As I have said, it is your choice. Now, I'm putting dots into the waistline area for the part of detailing. And for more details, I am using the another color crayon, we can say that is red crayon to make a few designs over it. You can use any color and you can make any design that you wish to. I'm simply making stars all over the shots, and you can also make any other design or you can say that it is an asterisk sign. Whatever you say, you can make the design as per your choice. So this completes our doling class. I hope you enjoyed our class as much as we enjoyed presenting it to you. Make sure to put some reviews on the class so that I get to know what kind of classes you would like to attend from my side. And this sums up with the class. Let's move ahead to the project work.
