are making in this class, which is a fabric
turbine headband with tendons or approach. And the materials used to make this project are one fabric, any color or type of
fabric wish, however, I use cotton fabric
in this class, you can choose to use a stretchy fabric
or a plain fabric. Anyone of your
choice is fine too. Uh, you all purpose glue, HESI, three elastic
band or strip, which is a medium-size
and it measures half an inch wide
for measuring tape, five scissors, six, hot iron, seven rind stone pendants, which can be sold
on hand stitched, 800 needle and thread, nine pen or a marker, ten sewing pins,
which is optional. And then finally, the PDF sewing pattern templates are attached for you
below this video, which is optional
to use as well. Now, beginning with
step one manual and cut out twice
on the bulk fabric, the length of 5 "
two times and a width of 25 " two times as well. Then cutout two pieces of fabric along the same measurements
using the scissors. Repeat this same
measurements again on the bulk fabric to cut out
the second piece of fabric, identical to the first one. Step to take one of the cutout, rectangular piece of fabric
that we cut out in step one and then fold it in half on
the wrong side of the fabric. After folding it,
you ensure that the spiritual edges of
the fabric needs each other and aligned next using
a hand needle and thread. First tie a knot at the end of the thread and then
begin to hand Sue, running stitches along the
raw edges of the fabric. So the raw edges by walking your needle and
thread from left to right and all the way through to the end of a long piece
of rectangular fabric. After you, I don't show him the first piece
of folded fabric. Use a needle and thread to tie is secure node by
looping the tread and needle in on itself three times and then cut out the
thread using a scissors. Repeat this same soy
technique to solve the second rectangular
cut-out piece of fabric along the raw edges using your hand chunk vulva and the first sown rectangular piece of fabric from it's wrong side, onto the right side
of the fabric, pass one of the fabric and through the tunnel
of the fabric, and then out through
the other side. Repeat this same toning
process for the second. So nice of fabric
as well to Tony it from the wrong side onto the
right side of the fabric. Antoni, over the fabric to its right side after
was also repeats the same tonic process that
we covered in step three to turn over the second
fabric to his right side. And when you are done, both fabrics begin
to look identical, would look like this, an identical to each other. Now, now we have two
identical soon fabric pieces. We sat them down and move on to the next step in the
next video lesson. Now join me in the next
video lesson three, welcome to making the
fabric turbine headband as we'll be
continuing the class. And I'll be walking you through
the steps on how to iron, twist and fold the fabric
pieces that we just cut out into the signature Torben
twists, not sheep. Now see you in the
next lesson video.
3. Iron, Twist and Fold the fabric into the Turban shape: We'll be continuing the class here and the third lesson video. And I'll be walking
you through the continuous steps on how to iron twists and fold
the fabric pieces that we caught out in the
previous lesson video into a signature to ban
twist, not design shape. Now, continuing
with the next step, which is step four, tick the first fabric piece and then straighten
out the fabric on the right side and also
stretching the songs seem edges. Then using your
hand and a warm ion begin to ion and
flatten the stitches on the edges of the
fabric piece also press flats the folded edges at the other side of
the fabric as well. Repeat this same process on. And for the second
fabric piece that is identical to the first onto
your bolt fabric pieces. Nice and ion flat. Step five to begin creating this signature TO been
twist, not design, begin by placing the
first fabric piece diagonally on a flat
surface and then place the second fabric
piece diagonally as well across and over
the first fabric piece. Next, take one edge
of the fabric, which is the edge at
the top right corner, and then cross it over
the center to meet the edge of the fabric that
is at the bottom left corner. Repeat this same
process by taking the other edge at the
top left corner and then cross it over the center to meet the edge of the fabric at
the bottom-right corner. After that, join these two edges together and then pull
the fabric pieces, gets the signature twists, not design at the center
of the folded fabric. Use your finger to adjust
our range and layer the fabrics on top of each other as you just set it aside. As we move on to the
next video, lesson four, there will be continued
in this class and steps, and I'll be showing
you how to glue the folds and the layers and then fold the edges for the elastic strip in
subsequent steps. Now seeing the next
video lesson four.
4. Glue the folded layers and Fold in the edges.: Welcome to your fourth
lesson video of this class. In this part of the class, we'll be continuing to steps
and I'll be showing you how to glue down the folds are layer of fabric
together and then fold the edges of
the fabrics as well. Now, continue with
the next step, which is step six, after we are done using the overlapping
technique to create the signature shape of the twists naught for
the tub and headband, as I showed you in the previous
lesson video and steps. You then proceed
next to using go ahead save or glucagon
to hold down and secure the folds and layers of the pieces on both sides
of the toolbar headband and also secure the
signature design of the center twist
naught at the center. This glue and method would help ensure that the center
is in place and to maintain its shape
of the Sorbonne and the syntax wish not design
this glowing metal will also help to ensure that the
fabric stays even when it's been moved to prevent it from shifting and
losing its shape. Moving on to the next step, which is step seven, after the layers of fabric has been glued down side-by-side, I showed in the previous step. Next, you begin walking
on the two ends of our turbine headband
to also prepare it to add the
elastic strips next, first using a Seasons
Hotels and trim off all the excess fabric or both of the ends of the
turbine headband, that is the right side
and the left side of the Torben had
been after cotton out all the excess raw edges of the overlap fabric to ensure
and make sure it is equal U. Then use your finger
and begin to fold the vertical edges inwards and in on itself on both sides. This is to ensure that you hide the raw edges are both ends
and also to ensure that the edges are knitting dog
in preparation for adding the elastic in the future
steps as a pro tip, you can decide to use a hot iron to iron down this
folded edges to ensure that the folds are secure and in place before moving
on to the next step. Now this is how urban
design looks like. It is slowly beginning
to take shape. We continue this class in
the next video lesson, and I'll be walking you
through the steps on how to cut out ad and saw the elastic strips to the edges
of the turbine head band. Now, see you in the next
video, lesson five.

video of this class. In this part of the class, we'll continue
steps of making the fabric TO been headband
with pendants here. And I'll be walking you through the steps of how to cut out ad. So the elastic strip
to the ends of the tube and headband now
continue with the next step, which is step eight, measure using a tape
rule and then mark the points you have measured
using a pen or a marker. After that, you then
use a scissors to cut out a piece
of elastic strip, which is a medium-size. And our strip, strip, again, you will be measuring
2.5 " horizontally lengthwise along
the elastic strip and then cutouts along
these measurements. Subsequently repeats this
coating process to cut out another identical elastic strip to make it a total of two shots. Elastic strips, which
we'll be using to attach on the TBA and headband
ends in the next step, step 91 of the 2.5 " elastic
strip that we previously cuts out and then
put small amount of glue at the edges of
the illustrious trip. Then talk the glute edges inside the folded ends of the head bands on both
sides of the head band, which is both the left
side and the right side, and repeats the
same gluing process to blue chalk and
then attach the ends of the 2.5 " elastic strips to the folded ends of the
turbine head bands as well. Repeat this same glue in
and talking process for the second identical
elastic strip that will also cut out. I don't glue in ane the edges of the elastic band strip onto the ends of the
turbine headband. Move on to the next step, which is step ten. We're going to start showing on elastic bands to the edges of the turbine head band to secure the elastic strip using
a needle and thread, walk your way from
right to left. And so short running stitches
are back stitches on the folded ends of the headband that has
elastic strip in it. And show you so on and over the edges of the
elastic strip as this will help
fasting and secure the elastic strip on
the headband folds. After I don't swing on one side, which is the right
side of the head band. Repeat the same process on the other end of the
headband as well, which is a left side
of the headband to ensure that elastic
strip is fastened and to secure the other end of
the Sorbonne headband after I don't swim
both ends and show you ended sewing process by noting the thread
and then cutting it off using a scissors as this will help you
fasten your stitches. In short that the stitches
after I had asked slowing down all your stitches and
cutting off the thread, you don't use your
hand to stretch the elastic band to ensure that the elastic is probably fasten and joined to
the turbine head band. This is also a way
of testing that the elastic band won't come off or snap when it's been worn. Now as you can see, it's about headband
is starting to take shape and we
are almost done. However, we still need to add the flask and finishing touch, which is pendens approach. Now join me in the
next video lesson where I'll be walking you
through the steps of adding and sewing on a brooch or
dependence at the center twist, not part of the headband. And I'll see you in
the next video lesson.

hand needle and thread, began by noting the end of the thread and
then begin to show dependence or brooch onto the center of the
Autobahn headband, use a couple of Hemings, stitches to so on dependence
slash brooch position slightly above the twists not designed at the centre
of the tub and headband. After you, I don't sewing, use the needle to tie a
knot three times to secure the stitches and then show that dependence is properly fastened. Then proceed to cause the
excess thread using a scissors. And then we have it guys
are Autobahn headband with pendens is ready and this is how the finished
look will look like. Now go ahead and

this unimportant tip, because during this process, you would manipulate your
fabric pieces more or less. And the stress you will put
on your stitches and on the fabric can cost the ends of the
stitches to pull apart. Therefore, it's
important to avoid this. Save time and make your
head been stronger by properly securing the ends
of yours and soon stitches. Please note, if you
choose to use a machine, Jones teaches, do not see any technique will
