Hi! I am Keizle and I create digital planners and draw digital illustrations.

I have been using a journal/planner since I was a kid and it had helped me figure out a lot of things in my life and about myself.

I write when I am happy, or excited, or sad, or scared. I plan when I feel overwhelmed or have no idea on what to do next. And I draw because I want to preserve memories—both the real life and my fantastical thoughts.

Both journaling and drawing are my processes for self discovery.

1. Digital Planning Class Intro: If you want to create your own digital planner, but don't know where to start or how to start, or you have been creating your own digital planner and you want to see how I do it. This class is for you. In this class I'm going to show you my basic step-by-step process on how I create my digital planners. And at the end of the class, you will be able to create your own. And the project for this class is this digital planner here. So if you are ready, let's begin. 2. Advice on How To Get the Most Out of This Class: If you're new to digital planner creation, I suggest an advice you to watch the entire class first and take some notes and ideas as they come to you while watching, and then come back to the first lesson with the materials you will need to create the digital planner, which I will discuss in the next lesson. And if you are not new and you have already created some digital planners, then you can just dive in into the class, but this is just a suggestion. So do what is best for you. See you in the next lesson. 3. What You Will Need: Only device you will be needing to follow this class is an electronic device that will enable you to create presentations using an app like Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint and such. The instructions for this class is specifically for the iPad users, but you can still follow along since I will be showing you the overall process which you can apply when using similarity devices and applications. And if you are wondering, I will be using my 20.92012 inch iPad Pro. If you have a digital pen stylus such as the Apple pencil, I recommend that you should use it too. This is not a requirement, but this helps a lot when creating a digital planner as it makes the process faster and with more ease, I will be using my second-generation Apple pencil in this class. For the application, you can use any app that will enable you to add links in it. These applications usually are where you can create presentations. If you use an Apple product, the app is called Keynote. And if you are an Android or Windows user, I think you can use Microsoft PowerPoint. You can also use Google Slides or Adobe InDesign if these apps are the ones available to you. Since I will be using the iPad, I will also be using the Keynote app to create the digital planner. The Keynote app is a free app that comes with your iPad. And if you haven't installed it yet, you can go to the App Store and search keynote and download the app. That's all the physical assets you will be needing to create your own digital planners. In the next lesson, I will be showing you how you can get the digital assets for this class. 4. The Digital Assets: The digital assets, I have provided an illustration which you can use for the design elements of your digital planner and a digital planner guide to help you in the creation process to download the class materials open the glass is through the website. If you are using an iPad, access the class through Safari, then had to Projects and Resources section. And you will see here the list of the digital assets. Select the file and then download the file via this window. Up the download icon, and you will see the file here, then use the share button, then save image. Let's do that on the other file. Do for the PDF guide, use the share button to download it to your iPad. The share icon then save to files, and then select the location where you want the file to be stored. Once you have downloaded or the glass materials, you are ready to create the class project, which is a monthly digital planner. See you in the next lesson. 5. Setting Up the Digital Planner Foundations: We're now going to start creating the digital planner. Let's open the Keynote app. And in here, tap the Create presentation and choose a theme. You will be presented with different styles and themes, but I usually just use the basic white. Once we have chosen the theme, let's open the PDF guide I have provided for the class. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and drag the first icon. Then let's open the PDF file. So here is our guide. If you want to have the whole screen real estate, you can change the split view setting to a slide over. And you can do that by dragging the three dots at the top like this. We can just hide it when we're not using it. And that is how you set up the foundations of your digital planner. See you in the next lesson. 6. Setting Up the Digital Planner Dimensions : In this part of the digital planner creation, we are going to set up the dimensions. Digital planners sizes are very important since it affects the loading speed, this space your digital planner will use in your device and how large or how small your brushes can be, especially if you're using the GoodNotes app. So to set up the size, you can go to the other option, which is the three dotted icon here. Then go to the document setup, then tap on the slide size, and then costume. We are going to use 1024 as the width and 690 as the height. Once you have set that up, tap Done, then tap Done again in the upper right corner. That's how you can set up the dimensions for your digital planner. 7. Creating the Slide Layouts: Now let's open the how to create a digital planner guide PDF file. In here, I have prepared a guide on the three slide layout designs we are going to eat. First, tap anywhere in the screen and let's access the slide layout. We're going to use this slide layout here, and we won't be needing this elements here that on the Select Objects option, then select all, then tap Done, and then choose Delete. Now we're going to add the illustration, which is our design element. And you have downloaded this along with the PDF guide awhile ago to add a photo, tap the plus icon. There, the photo icon, tap a photo or video and then select the illustration. Here is the first slide layout, which we are going to use for the second slide layout. It is the same as the first slide layout, except that the design element is transparent. So what we're going to do is tap on the thumbnail and select Duplicate. This is the duplicated copy now, and we are just going to change the opacity of the photo, the customize the opacity, tap the photo and then the brush icon, then lower the opacity. I'm going to adjust mine to around 20%. This slide layout will be used for our tracker page, extra pages and journaling pages. For the next slide layout design, if you're going to compare it to the previous one, the only difference is the ninth circles in the right side. Let's duplicate this again by tapping and then choose Duplicate. Now we're going to add the circles. So to add tap the Plus icon and then the shapes icon. And under the basic shapes, choose circles or any shape you want to use. You can move the circles by tapping hold and then dragging it. You can also resize it if you want. You can also undo, let me just move my plant a lethal. You can undo using this icon here. Now you can freely resize this circle here. But if you want to keep the ratio of the dimensions of this shape the same one resizing. You can select the shape, then tap the brush icon, then under arrange, turn on the constrained proportions option. Now in your size, the shape, the proportions of the shape will be kept intact. If you want to zoom in or out, you can do that by pinching in or out of the screen. Although these trig might not work depending on the iPad model you are using, try it as this is very helpful and adding smaller details to your digital planner. So I'm going to resize this circle to 50. If you're having a hard time adjusting the circle to the exact value, select the shape and go to the Brush icon. And then under arrays, you can change the width and height of the selected shape. If you want to change the color of the selected shape, select the shape and go to the Brush icon and their style tap Fill, then select the color you want. In here you can select Simple colors. Here you can select gradient, then an image. And under color you can swipe to the left and you can select any color you want using this color wheel here. And you can also add a border if you want. Since we needed nine of these, you can just copy this shape that we have already set up and then paste. If these guides are not appearing for you, you can go to the presentation mode. Then in the three dot icon, go to Guides. Then turn on the guide that you want. If you are not sure which guide to use, you can just turn on all of them. So let's go back to this slide layout. Since we needed nine of this, I want the process to be faster. You can use the Select Objects option, then select the two circles, copy and then paste. I will just continue on the copy and paste process until I reach nine circles. And now we have created the three slide layouts for the digital manner. On the next lesson, we are going to actually start creating the digital planner. So see you in the next lesson. 8. The Calendar Page: Last lesson we have finished creating the three slide layouts for this digital planner. So let's go back to the presentation to start creating the digital planner. Since the first slide uses the first slide layout we have created, and it is the design of the cover page. We can go directly to the calendar page. If you refer to the digital planner guide, you will see that the basic design for the calendar page is similar to the second slide layout we have created. So select the second slightly out, and it is the slide layout without the circles. I start my week on a Monday, so I'm going to create a calendar which starts on Monday. The general process will still be the same if you start your week in any other day. Also for this digital planner that we're going to create, it is the monthly digital planner for August 2022. So keep that in mind. And if you want to create a digital planner for any month of the year, you can just follow along with me in the digital planner guide. The calendar page has a title which is the month, and then two lines on both sides of the month title. Then the calendar. To add these elements, use the plus icon and their basic shapes. Select PECS, double-tap on the word, then edit. I'm going to create an August 2022 monthly digital planners. I'm going to type August double-tap to highlight the word and then go to the Brush icon to change its properties. You can change the font size of the highlighted text. You can change it the bold, italicize or underline or strike through. And then you can also change the font style. I think the size is a little small, so I'm going to increase the size more. You can also change the color of the text if you want. To add the lines which are these lines here, can again use the blast icon and then select the line option. Then you can change the width here to adjust the thickness of the line. I'm going to use three and they just copy and paste this line for the other one to the other side. Now let's add the actual calendar for this page. Tap on the plus icon again for the calendar to have the perfect spacing between these, I'm going to use tables. I usually use this basic one for the calendar. There will be eight columns, seven will be for the days of the week, N14, the week numbers. Just the number of columns in the table. Just stop this one, then adjust it to eight. For the number of rows for August 2022 with a Monday start, there are five weeks plus another row for the week day labels, then we will need six rows. As you can see in the digital planner guide, the first column is smaller than the rest. Digest the size of a column that the a column, and then adjust the size by dragging this to small parallel lines. I also want the topmost row to be smaller than the rest. So tap and adjust the two small horizontal lines as well to edit the entire table, tap the icon in the upper left of the table, go to the Brush icon and then sell, then cell border. So I want the outer border to be thick and black in the colors. Select the color black, and then adjust the width. Do 34, the inner line for the line type, I want it to be this dotted line. Then adjust the width to two. And as you can see, the size of this column is not the same as the others. So let's also correct that this select the table, then tap and select all the cells except for the uppermost row and the left-most column under the table category, select the row and column size. You want the height to be the same. So let's adjust that. I'm going to adjust the height, do 98. And for the 127. Then Let's recenter the table on the slide. Now let's add the days of the week in the uppermost row, which is for me, it is Monday to Sunday. Once you have typed all that in and you want to change the properties of the texts. Just select the text, then tap the brush icon, and then go to cell and make the adjustments. We're also going to add the week number in the left column in here. I'm just adding the week number with a W and then D number. Let's change the properties of these column two. And now let's add the dates. If you're not creating this calendar for August 2022, please make the necessary changes. Also do that. If yours does not start on a Monday. These are already added and I want them to be placed in the upper right corner of each cell. So to do that, select the cells and then tap this text alignment options here. I like where the days are now located, but I think the numbers are a little bit big, so let's decrease their size. For the calendar, I want the space to be separated with the backgrounds. I'm adding a rounded rectangle that is slightly bigger than the calendar. It's changed the color to white. Then the opacity to 50 per cent. And I want it to be at the back of the actual calendar. So tap arrange and then adjust this slider here. Also, if you want to add some grid lines here to guide you when you are already using this digital planner, that the plus icon and then under the table category, use this table in the brush icon. Let's change the cell borders of the table. For the borders, I'm going to use this one. I'm going to change the color to the wheel. I'm going to use 0.75. You can use smaller weeds if you want your grid lines to be more subtle, since this is just a grid line, I'm going to change the number of columns to one, and I'm going to add more rows so that the size will be smaller. I think 38 is enough, but let's fill it first. It's correct space in C. I want the grid lines to be a little smaller steel, so I'm going to add two more rows. So that is the calendar page. The next lesson we are going to create the weekly overview pages. So see you in the next lesson. 9. The Weekly Overview Page: In this lesson, we are going to create the weekly overview page. I use my weekly overview page as my weekly goals page and my future log page. This means that all the things I want to accomplish and all meetings and tasks I want to be done in a particular week, but haven't decided which particular day I will be accomplishing them goes here, Let's add a slide for this page. I'm going to use the same slide layout we have used for the calendar page. Now let's check the digital planner guide and see the design for the weekly overview page. It has the same title element as the calendar page. And in the overview beach, there is also a smaller calendar compared to the calendar in the calendar page, except that the Week number is not present for the weekly overview page. So I'm going to go back to the calendar page and we're going to select the similar elements for the overview page. We want the title elements, which is the August 2022 here, and then the two horizontal lines. And we also want the calendar and then tap Done and then copy. And in the weekly overview page, let's paste it here. For the calendar in this page, we don't want the first column, which is eight. So tap the letter a and tap it again, and then select the lead from the options. Since the calendar will be smaller, I will also be changing the label for the days of the week in the first row to just be the first letters of that particular day of the week. We're moved the first column awhile ago, and the left outer border of the table is different. So let's also change that. Let's also remove the inner border lines to make the calendar cleaner. And we won't be needing the extra space in each of the cells. So the dates should now be centered. Checking the guide. We are going to be needing five spaces for each of the week. And also the calendar are of the same size as those spaces. Before I forget, it's also changed the title to weekly overview. And then shorten this horizontal lines. Now let's add this shape for the weekly spaces. I'm going to copy this one and then paste. I'm going to select these shapes, then group them psych and uniformly resize them. After resizing and properly centering them, I have ungroup them again. Then I'm going to change their color using the brush icon. You can change it to any color that you want. After changing the color, lower the opacity, I'm going to change your mind to 44 per cent. You can also add a border shadow and reflection if you want. Since we need do more weakly spaces, I'm going to select these two and then copy and paste. As you can see here, the spacing between the weekly spaces and the title element is not good. So I'm going to select the weekly spaces elements and then move them downward. And in the digital planner guide, the calendar on this page is of the same size as the villi spaces. So let's resize the calendar. Now, let's add the label for this weekly spaces to make the process faster, Let's set up the first 1 first and then just copy this and paste it to the other weekly spaces. Just make sure to change the week number. After looking at the weekly overview set up, I'm not liking the green color for the species, so I'm going to change them to white. I'm also going to change the opacity to 65 per cent. Let's also change the size of the calendar here so that we can add the name of the month. If you're not liking the outer border of the calendar, you can also remove that if you want to unify the design of the weekly spaces with the calendar, I'm also going to add a white background for the calendar. In this speech. I will do a lot of writing, so I'm also going to add grid lines in the weekly spaces. I'm just going to change the column number 21. I'm also going to change the line type of the table, two dotted lines. I'm also changing the color and the width. I'm also removing the vertical border lines, then increase the number of rows. One satisfied with the grid lines, I'm going to copy and paste them in the other weekly spaces. And that is the weekly overview page of our digital planner. And the next lesson we are going to create the habit tracker page. So see you there. 10. The Habit Tracker Page: In this lesson, we are going to create the habit tracker page. And in the digital planner guide, I have added a note that you can add as many trackers as you like. Now let's add the page for the habit trackers. Let's use the same slide layout we have used in the weekly overview page for the habit tracker. I want small calendars that are similar to this calendar. So I'm going to select all the elements in this. I'm also going to use the same design for the titles. I'm also going to copy this and then paste it in the habit tracker page and just change the title to habit tracker. This calendar is a little big for me, so I'm going to resize it. For the label of the trackers. You can change it to any habit you want to track. For this first slacker, it is for sleep for more than seven hours. If the phrase is too long, you can change the size of the fund to fit this calendar. Once satisfied with the size of the calendar, I'm going to copy and paste it to make the process faster. Do this until you have created all the trackers, you want. This one of the advantages of creating your planner digitally. It is so easy to copy and paste the elements that you want to be duplicated. I think 15 habit daggers is enough. So I'm just going to change the spacing of each row of the trackers to finalize the design of this page. Now I'm just gonna change the label of each of the trackers. And that's all of the habits that I want to track. And if you have also finished creating and adding all your habit trackers. In the next lesson, we are going to create the brain dump page and other extra pages. So see you in the next lesson. 11. The Creative Pages: In this lesson, we are now going to create the brain dump page and other miscellaneous and creative pages in here you can design an ambitious you want in your digital planner. But I'm going to show you the pages I will be adding to my digital planner. We are again going to use the same slide layout which we have been using for the previous pages and do the same first few processes we used in the previous pages. And that's what we did with the previous pages we have created. Let's copy the title this sign from the previous pages again. Then go to the current page and then paste it here and then change the title to what this page is. So for this patient, this will be my brain dump page. Bring them pages where I write down ideas and thoughts that I want to access easily anytime that I want. If you don't use a brain dump page, you're open to design whatever page you want for this, let me just adjust my plant so you can see all of my screen for this page, since it is my brain dump page and I will mostly be writing and adding elements when I'm already using the digital planner, I'm just going to add grid lines to make writing easier. I'm adding a slightly transparent white background to make my scribbles in the future clear. I also want to separate it from the illustration. I have added the shape using the plus icon and change its properties using the brush icon to add the grid lines, you can use the table as I have shown you in the past lessons. So to make the process easier and faster, just copy one from the previous pages we have already created for the grid lines. I want it to be almost the same size as the background. I also added more rows to make the spacing of the grid lines is smaller. In the digital planner guide, you can see that I have added the calendar in the brain dump page. I'm just going to copy a calendar from the habit tracker page and then paste it here. Then change the name of the calendar to demand, which is August 2022. If you want to access your weekly pages from here, I suggest that you add the calendar or if you're creating a different design, you can still add a calendar in this page. If you want to access the weekly pages, I will show you how to add links from this page later on in the class. I'm also going to add two more miscellaneous pages, and you're welcome to be creative in these two pages, if you like. For the other pages set up I'm going to use is the same with the brain dump page. So I'm just going to copy all the elements from the page and paste it here for this page, I want it to be my Explore page. Explore page is a page where I journal about the certain adventure I want to remember. It's a memory page focusing on a single adventure. And for this page, I'm going to use this for personnel notes. I'm thinking of writing myself a letter and I'm planning on using this page for that. So we have already created the other speech or the miscellaneous pages. So on the next lesson we are going to create an ad, the weekly pages. 12. The Weekly Pages: Last lesson we have graded the miscellaneous pages for our digital planner. And in this lesson we're now going to create the weekly pages. If you start your week on a Sunday, you can follow the digital planner guide I have provided. But in this lesson, I will be showing you my process on how I create my weekly page, which starts on a Monday, and the process is the same, whether it starts on a Monday or any other day of the week. If you're not sure yet on how to do this, make sure to watch the process first, then try it on your own. After if your week starts on a Sunday, you can refer to the digital planner guide. For the weekly pages in this guide, you can see these buttons here. This is similar to the third slide layout we have created. So let's see, is this for this page, for the weekly pages, I still want the title setup of the previous pages. So I'm going to copy those elements and then paste it to our weekly page. Again, if your week starts on a Sunday, you can use the design setup in the digital planner guide. It is also okay to not follow these designs. The setup designs are just suggestions. So if you have a favorite setup you want to try, you can do that. Let me adjust the line so that it's not in the bottom. And make sure to change the title for this page since we are currently creating the week one page, I'm going to change it to August 1st to seven. Since we have buttons. Now, I am adjusting the positions of the title in this page and the lines. Now I'm just going to add the daily spaces using the rounded corner rectangles. In here. I'm going to add three daily spaces. The easily resize them uniformly is to select each of the element and tap Done, and then group them, then resize them as a group. Once you have adjusted the size, you can ungroup them while the elements are still selected, let's change the color to white and also lower the opacity. Let's also adjust the height of the daily spaces. Then copy and paste. I want to center this. So select the sixth daily spaces and then move them. Then copy one of the spaces, and then paste it under the calendar. To fill this space up, I'm going to add a small note space, which is similar to this one. So I'm just gonna copy this one again and then paste. And then we're going to add the days of the week. I'm going to add a circle by tapping the Plus icon, then shapes, then under basic, select this circle. Using the brush icon, I'm going to change its color to white and then add a black border. Double-tap inside the circle so we can type in the date, then double-tap again to highlight, and then change the color to black. I'm also going to change the font style and the font size. After changing the font style, it's size is still too large, so I'm going to decrease the font size again. I'm just going to copy and paste it to the other day spaces. Make sure to change the dates too. Now that all the dates are added in each of the dailies spaces, Let's add grid lines to each of the space. In the plus icon under table at a basic one degrees the column number to one. And then we are going to exchange the borders, select everything, and then change the line type to the dotted grids style, and then change the color to the third one and also increase the weed. Let's increase the ROS also so that the grid lines spaces gets a little narrower. I don't want the vertical outside borders, so let's remove them in the brush icon under cell, that the cell border option. And in this one and change the line type to none, do the same for the left border line. And I want my grid lines to be behind the dates. So tap, arrange and then use this slider. Then copy the grid line table and then paste it to the other daily spaces. Make sure descender each grid line table in the daily spaces and to also change it arrangements so that the grid lines is behind the dates. It looks like the dates are a little wonky, so I'm just going to fix those up. I also want this piece to have a label called nodes. So let's add that too. Also, let's add a grid lines for the space. I just copied the grid lines from the other DD species and resized it. You can also decrease the numbers of rows if you like. And that is the first weekly page of our digital planner for the next week, the pages, you can refer to the digital planner guide for some setup suggestions. For me, I kind of want this setup to be my general weekly set up and I want to use this design for the rest of the month. So I'm just going to duplicate this slide. I will duplicate this slide until I have five slides for my five weekly pages. After that, Let's change the range of days in the title of each of the slides. For the second week, the page, it is from August 8th of August 14. Make sure to also change the dates in each of the daily spaces. Do this in all of the weekly pages. In this slide for the last weekly page, since there are only three days for that week, I'm going to keep this three days at the top. And for the bottom part, I'm going to use this as the planning space for next month. I have resized the background for the space and also the grid lines. And instead of a date, I'm just going to add three dots. The date in the title is from August 29th of August 31. That is the weekly pages of our digital planner. In the next lesson, I'm going to show you how I add the journaling pages. So see you there. 13. The Journal and Reflection Pages: In this lesson, we are going to create an ad journaling pages and reflection page in our digital planner for the journaling pages, I still want this buttons for the page, so I'm going to use this one. The journaling page is similar to the notes page, so I'm just going to copy everything. Then go to the journaling page and paste and then change the title from notes to journal. Or you can use any title that you want. You can add more elements like journaling prompts and the like. If you also want that. For the journaling page, I want it to be after every weekly pages. So let's duplicate this slide. And then tap, hold and drag this slide and place it under the weekly page slide. And then let's duplicate again, then tap, hold and drag this slide. Do this as many times as you need to. There you go. All the journaling pages have been added. Let's double-check if we have placed it in the correct locations. And we did. So let's create the reflection page there, fraction pages, almost the same journaling page, except that I will only use this at the end of the month. So I decided that both of the pages should have the same design setup. So I just duplicated the journaling page and change the title. And that is the last page of our digital planner. In the next lesson, we are going to add the links so you can easily navigate within the notebook. See you in the next lesson. 14. Adding the Links to the Main Pages: In this lesson, we're going to add the links in the digital planner so you can easily navigate within the planner itself. So let's access the digital planner guide again. If you check the notes that I have added in the slide layout number three, you can see that I have listed all the subsections of the digital planner and their corresponding buttons. We want the buttons here to be our clickable links, so we can easily go to the other subsections of the digital planner. So what we're going to do first is to make notes. I'm just going to move this to the right so we can see this sidebar. You can use this one or you can use the GoodNotes app or any PDF annotating API used to open the digital planner guide. What we're going to do is to take note of the slide number for the first page of this subsections, like for example, the cover page, this subsection has only one page and that is slide number one. Then the calendar is the second slide. The weekly overview is the third. The habit tracker is the fourth slide. The brain dump page as the fifth. For the journaling page, it is dependent on which week it is for. So let's take note of all the slide numbers. So for the first week, it is the slide number nine. For the second week, it is slide number 11. Then the next one is slide 13. This one is slide 15, and the last one is the slide 17. For the first extra page, it is this Explore page here, and this is slide number six. And the other extra page is slide number seven. For the reflection page, it is the last slide, which is slide number 18. Once all these are noted, let's add the links, since all of those are for the buttons. Let's open this slide layout. The third slide layout contains the buttons, so we will be focusing here. Let's add the links except the journaling pages, since these changes depending on the week to add the link that the shape. Then link, and then select LinkedIn slide, then select the slide number one for the second button, it must be linked to the calendar page, which is slide number two. This one is linked to slide number three. This one is linked to the habit tracker, which is slide number four. This one is linked to the fifth slide. This one, we will add it later since it will be linked to the journaling pages. So let's skip this first. The next button is linked to slide six, which is the first extra page, which is my Explore page. This one is linked to slide number seven. The last button is further reflection page, which is linked in the slide number 18. And I mistakenly link this slide number eight, but I will correct it later. But if you're following along, link this to slide number 18, This is how you can add links, the slide layout. And in the next lesson we're going to add icons to differentiate this circular buttons here to see you there. 15. Adding Icons: In this lesson, we are going to add icons or labels if that is what you prefer, so that we can differentiate these buttons here. And to do that, tap the Plus icon and you can check out this different subcategories of shapes here, such as object, nature, food, symbols. There are a lot of icons here so you can navigate and check the other subcategories for more choices. I like this icon in the ornaments sub sections. I'm going to use this for the cover page. If you cannot remember which slide these buttons are linked to, you can always check the digital planner guide. For this one, it is linked to the calendar page. So I want the calendar looking icon for this. And this icon under symbols is perfect for this. If you accidentally moves an element, you can always use the undo button in the top left to undo any changes. The next button is for the weekly overview page. And let me see which one I like for my weekly overview page, I like this skyline icon here is I'm going to use this one. In this part of the process. You do not need to strictly follow what icons I am using. If you prefer to use labels for your buttons, you can do that too. Or if you have your own icons, you can use those if you like. Although we did not add any link in this button, we should still add an icon or a label for this. I used an icon from the ornaments subcategory. For my Explore page button, I'm going to use the globe icon, which is under the places subcategory. For this fireworks icon. I think I like this better for the reflection beach. For the other extra page which I use as a notes page, I'm going to use this nib icon, which is very fitting. Once you have added all the icons, Let's go back to the presentation mode. And as you can see here, all the slides which use the third slide layout have the icons and the links already added on them. And also I just noticed that the background space for the reflection and the journaling pages are overlapping the icons. So let's adjust them all. This is one of the advantages of creating your planners digitally when we make mistakes, correcting as super easy. In the next lesson, we're going to add the remaining links for this digital planner. So see you there. 16. Adding Links to the Calendar and Weekly Overview Pages: In this lesson, we are now going to add the links for the calendar page and the weekly overview page. Let's open the digital planner guide again for the first column of this calendar, I want this to be linked to the weekly overview page, which I've also noted in the digital planner guide. To add delete, tap the Plus icon, and then add a rectangle. Resize the shape so that it is covering the entire first column of the table. Weekly overview page is the third slide. So let's add that link. We don't want to see the shapes. So to make it invisible, Let's lower its opacity to 0. After that, we're going to add links to our weekly pages. If you want to take note of the slide number, you can again use the digital planner guide. For the first week. This one is linked to the slide number eight, which is the first weekly page. The second week is slide, then The next one is the 12th, then 14th, and then 16. Once all of those are noted down, Let's go back to the calendar page. Now let's add the shape which we will use to add the links. Let's check which slide this is linked to in the digital planner guide. So this is linked to slide number eight. Tap the shape, then link, and then link to slide number eight. And then we're going to adjust the opacity to 0. Let's copy this one and paste it for the second week. If you're having a hard time aligning the shape, you can temporarily increase the opacity. Then let's copy and then paste. Then paste again. Then paste. Open the digital planner Guide again. And this one are just copies of the first one that we have graded. So we have to change it. And to do that, tap the arrow icon and the shape, then link setting and then change the slide. It is link. The second week is slide ten, and the third one is 1214. And lastly slide 16. And then double-check if the slide numbers are correct. Now let's make this shapes invisible by lowering down the opacity to 0. For the overview page, I'm going to add links on the small calendar here. Since the links are the same as the one we have added in the calendar page. Let's use the select objects and select the invisible shapes with the links and then copy them. Since we already added the link in the calendar page, the process is now easier. I'm going to increase the opacity of the shapes so I can clearly see them all. Then just resize this shapes so they perfectly fit with the small calendar in the weekly overview page. This allows us to access the weekly pages when we are in the weekly overview page. And having these links will hopefully improve our planning workflow when we're actually using the digital planner. After resizing the shape, you can recheck the links just to make sure again that the links we have added are correct. Once those are confirmed, let's lower the opacity to 0 again. And that is the links for the calendar page and the weekly overview page. In the next lesson, we're going to add links to the habit tracker page of the digital planner. So see you in the next lesson. 17. Adding Links to the Habit Trackers: In this lesson, we are now going to add the links to our habit tracker. For it, a habit tracker I wanted every calendar here is linked to the same weekly pages as what we did with the weekly overview page. So let's just repeat the process and copy the invisible shapes from the weekly overview page. And then paste it here. To make the resizing easier, increase the opacity of the shapes again, and then start resizing. Since all the habit tracker calendar is here, we'll have the same links per week. Let's work only on one calendar for now. If you're having a hard time with their ie sizing and moving the shape because of the guides. You can go to the guides, then turn them off. You can turn on or off this guides whenever you need them or not. Once all of those are resized, I'm going to select the shapes, copy them, and then paste Ed for the next habit tracker. Then paste the links again here. Repeat the process until all the calendars in the entire row of habits attackers has the links. What we're going to do now is select all of these shapes and copy and paste them for the next two rows of the habit tracker to easily select multiple elements, tap, hold, and drag on the screen. Since elements we don't want to copy have been selected, deselect them by tapping on them again, then copy, and then paste. I'm going to turn off the guides again as they are restricting me with the repositioning of the shapes. Then paste once more for the last row of the habit tracker. Now let's make this link shapes invisible by lowering the opacity to 0, use the selection hack again and then de-select the actual trackers. Then lower the opacity. Now that the links for the habit trackers are added in the next lesson, we are going to add the remaining links for our digital planner. See you in the next lesson. 18. Adding the Remaining Links: In this lesson, we are now going to add the links to all our remaining pages. The next page we're going to work on is the brain dump page. We're going to add links on the small calendar. So to make the process easier, let's just copy a set of the links of one of the calendars in the habit tracker. Select the objects than done, and then copy, then paste it here. Let's increase the opacity of the links so we can easily resize and reposition the shapes for the calendar here. Since the calendars in the Explorer page and the notes page are of the same size as the one here in the brain dump page. I'll just be copying the invisible shapes and then pasting them on the two pages. The last remaining links we need to add now are the links in the weekly pages. Let's work on those links. We need to add R4, the journaling pages, buttons, and links in the small calendar here, Let's just space the shapes for that calendar. I still have it copied from the last step, so just paste it here. But if you haven't, you can copy it. Again. You can increase the opacity of the shapes who we can resize and reposition the shapes easier and faster. After resizing and repositioning, you can select the objects again and then lowered opacity to turn them invisible and then copy the objects. Let's work on the calendar is in the weekly pages first, since we already copied the links from the first weekly page, let's just paste it to the other weekly pages. Let's also add the calendar links to the journaling pages so we can access any of the weekly pages when we are journaling. Since the calendar's in the weekly pages and the journaling pages are not of the same size and position. I have increased the opacity of the shapes again and reposition them to fit the calendar here in the journaling pages. I'm only going to do this in one of the journaling pages and then just copy the correctly positioned and resize shape links and paste it in the other journaling pages. To copy this shapes tab and then select objects, then select the invisible shapes, then tap Done, then copy. Then go to the other journaling pages and paste them there. Also, don't forget the base set in the reflection page. Now let's work on the links and buttons for the journaling page. Since the ship is created in the slide layout, we can not really access this shape in the presentation mode. So let's add a similar shape here and placed it on top of the button. Since the reflection page has no specific weekly page, I'm going to use this button to access the cover page instead. So tap on the shape, select link, linked to slide number one. Then let's change the opacity of the shape, the 0 to make it invisible. Then tap and then copy. Now let's go back to the first big leap page and paste it here. Tap on the shape than links setting. Then select link the slide and change it to nine, since it is the journaling page for this week. For the journaling page, I want that when I tap this button, I want it to go back to my weekly page. So tap on the screen and then paste this shape, then tap on the shape that link setting. Then linked to slide eight. The second weekly page. This button should be linked to slide number 11, which is the journaling page for week two. And then in the journaling page, this button should be linked to the slide. The third weekly page, the journaling button is linked to slide number 13. In the journaling page. This button is linked to slide number 12. Let's repeat the process to the fourth weekly page again, and this is linked to slide number 15. For the journaling page. This button is linked to slide 14. For the last weekly page. This button is linked to slide number 17. For the journaling page for the last week, this button is linked to slide 16. And before I forget, I need to fix the button for the reflection page first, that was in the slide layouts. So access the slide layout by tapping anywhere in the screen and then select Edit slide layout, tap on the button, then link setting, then change the link to slide 18 instead of eight. Now that all the links are already added and fixed, in the next lesson, we're going to export the digital planner we have created. See you there. 19. Exporting the Digital Planner: In this lesson, we are now going to export your digital planner. To do that, tap the three button icon, then tap Export, then export it as a PDF file. In this window, tap Export tab saved the files. If you want to save your digital planner in your folders, you can also rename your digital planner before saving it. And here is my digital planner inside my files. Let me show you another way. If you want directly import your digital planner to GoodNotes, tap Export in the three dots icon. Then select the Open in GoodNotes option. Then rename this. Then import as a new document. While you are here, you can also recheck if all the links that we have added are correct. 20.
