In this journey ahead, we will dive into the world of sketch, from mastering the intricacies of vector graphic, to harnessing the power of the tools like masking and gradients. So as we travels through this course, you'll unlock the secrets of sketch. So let's start 4. Learn how to use canvas and Grids and Guides in details: In this lecture, we are going to learn about the details of Canvas and spectral vector. Since toolbar Boolean operations and mask. So let's start with the Canvas. So for that host, React download the sketch. And when the downloading is done, you will see this page. And obviously we have to click on a New Document. Then we get to know Canvas. So as you can see in Sketch, the canvas refers to the main work space. Very UI designers create and arrange their design arguments. What is a digital space where designers gout and compose the user interface designs, including artboards, shapes, text, images, symbols, and other design company. Okay, so the main aspect of this canvas. First we can talk about the artboards. Let's select. You can just write e. We can get the number of iPhones which you can select. If I'm going to select this icon 12th, we get the odd. This is called as art board, where we can design for our mobile app. Then second, we're going to talk about the Grids and Guides. Grids and Guides of the canvas. This helps us to aligned every text or every designs we meet. For example, if I write here one triangle, sorry, it's a rectangle. As you can see. They're not aligned. The same line will shift it. You can also see this, the red line appears, shows that, yes. It's on the scene. These other grids and guides which are used and also the layer organizations that we will learn about in the next lecture. Thank you 5. Use of Inspector with hands-on activity: Hello everyone. In this lecture we're going to learn about the details of inspector. This is a canvas. The canvas and the inspector is used to access and modify various properties, styles, and behaviors of the design elements. And it is a panel that provides a wide range of control and options for UI designers to manipulate and customize various aspects of the design elements. Let us see. This right side panel is inspector. And as you can see, we are deleting the oaky. This art board is empty now. We don't have anything to do right now. Now you can see the inspector doesn't have any properties. But as soon as you draw anything like a rectangle are so many, you can see the properties. We can check the properties now. As you can see on the right side, starting from the top, you can see the alignment option. But if I'm drawing a rectangle, as we can see, this rectangle doesn't match the other one. Select Shift, select both triangles if you want to make it center. So you can see that it is now on the center. There we go. Small dog. This is a sentence when this way we can use all these alignment options. The next term is we can see size. Let's check this rectangle. Size is 270-97-5709 is 75, the height. You can increase or decrease. This arrow button. Clicking on this arrow buttons. Also we can increase the height and also we can decrease the height. Here you can see the lock option. If you press on the option, then okay. Also, there's a radius where we can get the round corners of the rectangle. As you can see, I'm dragging this 2025, 30, and we can get the smooth and nice round corners. And also we can fool, you can check the borders as it is green. I can make it light green are initiated, we warned. You can also put the hex value if more than. Okay. Hello. And these are all the gradients. You can use the double shade. This side if I'm choosing the blue sheet. Okay, then you can see that nice. She speaks very pretty. The gradients, gradients also didn't get corners. We can also put the shadows are models. One though, black border with this one. But as soon as I increase and you can see inside the center, and this will be the outside. You can also put the shadows. You can see the shadow color if you want the night colors, shadow T, night. Why? We can make it blurry? A very decent. Yeah, there's all other properties which are very useful for the designers. Just looks cool. So yes, this was all about the inspector. That's not going to deep side. Thank you. Let's see the next lecture. 6. Details about what isToolbar and how it is used.: Hello guys and welcome to my lecture. In the last lecture, we learned about the inspector. We had seen all the properties inspector. And now we'll learn about the toolbar. It is a collection of goods and tools located at the top of the application interface. Usually go with this top section of the sketch is called as toolbar. So it's used for selection and manipulation, drawing and cheap creation, editing, color selection, name, management, and add Putin creations. As we can see, we can select any shape we want. Rectangle, oval, rounded line, arrow, triangle, star, polygon. And I can show you one thing. You can see on the right side, on the right side of the rectangle, let those, it's written letter R. That means if we just click the button, you didn't get the rectangular shape. Drag it over All button. And you can see, you can see that on the cursor. You can just see that there is a letter written on it. So just get them all in. And I just wanted to add one thing that's due Wednesday. It's drawn this rectangle. And all seeing is a dangling all made by just clicking R and overdone. But actually see the time. If you want a perfect square, we can just click on Shift and drag. You can see the side, it's one I do, do I want 91, 1998. Then you can see this is a perfect square. And same goes with the 11. So cool. We just need to hold the Shift button and as you can see, perfect size to ten and tutor. And if you're not using the Shift key, if it is making this, you'll get the size to 25 by 2.5. We can use the Shift key to make the perfect square or circle line. We can leave a line. You can see this image. Odd board, pencil, recto. Just talk about this. We're not, we don't use it normally. We can make and we want it is rarely used. More properties. These are the rotation, this rotation or transform. Copies, mosque example. Those. Quick, just select this. You can see it can bleed side. Also we can read the rotating, rotational copies. 64, 60. Like this. You can make copies. Number of poppies, poppies. Patient. We can use this as well. Also we have the Boolean operation option. It doesn't just say combine. Sorry, this is the union operation. This will we subtract, Intersect is the difference from the Preview button. Yeah. So this was all about the toolbar 7. Learn everything about Vector tool with hands-on activity : So in this captivating lecture, we'll delve into the world of vector tools. By the end of this lecture, you will develop a comprehensive ideas of the vector tools capabilities. This lecture we are going to learn about the importance of vector tool. So the vector tool in Sketch is a powerful feature that allows you or designers to create and manipulate scalable vector shapes. And it provides precise control over shape creation, editing, and transformation. Making it an essential tool for creating logos, creating icons, and graphical elements within the UI designs. So let's just see like, okay, we get a vector. As you can see that it's showing a vector. And then we can meet shape. Let me draw a line. This way we can recall shape. Again. Close this part by going fast. As you can see that here we are getting four vector to point type. I click this 0.11 shape. You can see its shape changes. Okay? Checking to swim. You can see that only the falls, the side of this shape elongated from the sides and we get this. We can also make hard. As you can see, the cost from both the sides. Then this tool is really very important in the designing. We can draw the shapes. Okay? This was about the same shape creations. And I want you to tell one thing. Hi. I'm using the circle. If I hold the Shift button. Okay. This to circle that's selected. And then as you can see on the left side, we can just make a group command G. Now, we move together, but if we want only the circle, Double-click this one. You can see in the group will see we have selected this red ways. We can select the individual layer. This so-called, We can double-click or we can simply, as you can see it. So if we wanted to change the carlo, just see the blue. I'm also there is pink naked. We want this orange so-called move this on top. We go. And this page, actually we are supposed to organize all these shapes in a group. You can see there are rectangles. We can, instead of doing this, shift, selecting everything away, we can celebrate because as you can see that all the time is selected. Or we can simply select this rectangle and then hold the Shift key. When I get down to the CI. We can see clear. So that's okay. Actually we are so-called shavers to refer to 15. So we can see this was all about the vector tool and also the position of the legs. Yeah, thank you. And let you in the next lecture. 8. Mastery in Fills and Gradients.: Hi again. In this lecture, we'll dive into the world of fields and gradients and explore how they can unleash your creative design by the vibrant colors and kept adding textures to your designs. Throughout this lecture, you will get the comprehensive ideas of how to use the fields and gradients and how to utilize them to bring your designs to life. In this lecture, we'll be learning about the fields. You're on the right side and the inspector, we can see the full delete. This forced. Let's start by making a rectangle. Let me on the lips next. This is when we click. We get color picker over here. Let's see green. Okay? So this, by this weekend, only the one single color. But if we use a gradient like this one, we are getting the two points. We can adjust this points to a second. Yeah. Ms. chart, again, let's do the grading site. We can choose a shade or something. I also want to tell you one thing. We can add 0.2 or more, 0.1. We can just select this point and we can change the sheet. We can just choose the shoot so that it can match with the other colors. So if you put yellow or orange, yeah. We can get green bush. But I can see this yellow is very sharp. Let's check. You can lose something. She can make it. Shift this to the side. Better. The second you can use this as well. So I can show you better way. So now we have two sheets. Okay, if you want at the center, we can just drag it with the site or like the spot, whichever you like. Let's put it in the center. And as you can see that we can see the red line. Again, it shows that we are in the center of this rectangle. We can also drag it. Just minimize it. If you want to change the color, you have choice. To choose the blue color. You can choose again. Okay? Hello. So we can do like this. Blue color. We can minimize some, minimize just some light shade or something. The word doesn't look good, but still the pipe. The other type of gradient which I personally don't like it. We can also use this. Also as I've told you, like we have, again, the point, we can add more colors depending on the design we want to make. We can add the sheets. If you want. Green. You can add green. If you want. We can add in the next week. Here we go. Which one is remaining? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. No, I had started liking it. So yes. These are the sheets which are actually looking quite routine. Was all about the gradient. And also we can choose the immediate reward. Can choose whichever we want. First you have to download the image in your computer and then you're going to the image. So this was the first, this was a gradient. And also I want to tell you later if you want anything, you like a rectangle. And if the shoe is, let's see the shooter this shade, this. If you want to add one more point. And this point, he wanted this color. So we can just click on this. You can choose a scholar. Here we go. We get scholar. There's also very useful. This was all about the film. Thank you. Let's see for the next lecture. 9. What is Masking? And how it is done?: Hello guys and welcome to this lecture. In this lecture we are going to learn about what is masking. Masking allows designers to crop images into custom shapes or patterns. Instead of displaying a rectangular or square image, the mass can be applied to create circular, triangular or any other desired shapes. And this technique is often used to add visual interest of fit images within the specific design constraints. So let's see. Let's say triangle shape. Let's go. Yeah, we can make a rectangle because our button and then let's make the corners. 30. Schools can also change the color. So if we want to mask any shapes, we can do that. Let's try ****. Just press the button on the sheet like this. Then. Let's make a triangle. Let's pull this color. She did some gradient. Let's do some gradient colors. Let's select first rectangle. We have this blue, blue light. Yeah. Let's make the so-called double. As you can see, select Double after the double-click them. We can change the shapes you want. You can try some shapes. The shapes. Let's change the color. Let's go for a lighter orange. You can add one point. Light blue color. Okay. The Scholars looking at you can start from the center. You can try to get the proper sheet. Okay? Then we can add this triangle. Let's change the color. We can add some gradients. Let's select. Okay, I won't to be in the center or let's say in the corner side. If I'm adding this color, this point, let's make it red or let's say yellow. Yeah, this looks cool. On the other side we can add the green color. Okay. This looks very bright. Now it looks cool. We can do one thing. We can just drag this shape, this shape like this. And also we can add one more shape if we want. Let's see. We can draw some nice, beautiful star. And also again, we'll add some clues using this gradient. And let's add some pink color. On this side. This will be okay. Let's go forward with lighter shade. Yeah, that looks good. Now we can do one. Select all the shapes. And you can just right-click. And you can see that although sides, which was outside the rectangle, it's been cut. And we can see the beautiful shapes, star triangles. And this shape which we have drawn from the rectangular sheet. This gives a beautiful design and this we can use in many such projects. This is called a masking. Yeah. Thank you. And let's see the next lecture. 10. Learn How to Make Logo with Hands-on for Brands : Hi again. It's time to roll your sleeves. Tire has because it's time for the hands-on project. And now you will get the opportunity to make three logo designs project, which we will explore together. And also we'll apply the techniques and concepts which we have studied earlier. So all the best. Hello and welcome to my lecture. So today we're going to learn about logo. Logo is a graphical representation or symbol that identifies a grand company, product or service. Logo is typically created through a combination of typography, shapes, hello, and sometimes imagery. It should be unique, memorable, and reflective of the brand's values, personality, and target audience. So let's check how to make the logos are the three examples of logo which we are going to make today. So let's start. We know we have used the Boolean operations here. Let's make two circles. Non D to duplicate. Okay? We can use, we can use differentiate. And now we can change the color. Sorry, before that we should change the color. Whichever color you want. Here I selected a blue color. We can do, you can take this pickle. We can check the same color. In color. We also began in bottles. Then the water's black. We can change the width so that it can look more enhanced. Now we can use this difference operation. And here we go. Also we can use this, this talk into T, clicking example. Tesco, just a random name I've used. Then I can shift heel. As you can see that the line spacing is very far, so we can make it more like 12. I think we'll be fine. Alright, so I think it should be ten. Yeah, now it looks also we should reduce the font size. Make it 50. Yeah, now I think this looks good. We're going to do one thing. We can also change the font color, dark blue or something like this. You can fill this with the dog, sorry, this purple purplish color. And then we can also the borders. Borders we can go to which color? Black, pink. Or let's try from spring course. It's not visible but we are increasing a bit. Then yes, we can see some white, sorry, some background. Reading. One is better. Yes. We have learned about use of the Boolean operation and also about the text spacing, line spacing, character spacing. Let's start with the next logo. For this second one, I think you should just decide. Okay, I am doing this than we need The next part is shifting. So I think false, we should select, you should make a group. Okay. You can leave it as scar.com. Then we want to shift. You can see that the whole thing shifted. Quite easy. Let's try the second one. So for this b1 triangle shape, here we go. Triangle, I'm going to feel the shift key. We get the perfect to 93 by 393 size, whatever size you want. Let's keep it cool for 40403 here. And as we are here to draw something insights. So let's, let's consider the border color as talc red. And this looks cool. Okay. So good. Now, travel soccer. That shift and make a circle, but that's okay. So I think we should check the alignment. We can click this and this triangle and then move the center. If you want, we can increase the size. You can see this big stake. Sorry. Let's make it 1605165. Let's make the borders. And maybe we should go for the red color. And just like the water red bad thing for tests, we can just pick the same color so that we don't get any. Sorry. Now we have the same color. Now we will make up arrow button. Sorry, you only make an adult that Let's use the wet top. Are some bullying. You can use the pencil. You can use line or arrow simply. Now, we have to make two arrows. So we can do it. Let's center this so-called centered and centered. Now, we have to make two arrows. And just say to you, I will see you in the next lecture. 11. Logo Design Mastery: Creating 3 Captivating Brand Identities: Hi, and welcome to this lecture. In this lecture, we are going to make the logo designs. It's all the best, and let's get started. Let's start with the rectangle rectangle. This is one take five. Okay, we can duplicate this. Two times. I think this, this is the one. And this is a second. Okay. We can this 36 by 5306 by five. Now we can rotate this And also, we can rotate this other one. Oops, I think this was not selected. Now we can go for the rotation. Okay. So here we go. I think we so remove the borders. All right. So to make it perfect. Okay. And we can make it a little round so that it can get properly. Okay. Now we want the round of only this part. So I've selected this point and let's make the radius ten. Again, we can select this. Similarly, we can do for this thing, the radius is ten and at this point, the radius is ten. Okay. So I think Command G. So it's an arrow. So we can write arrow, and then we can color I think it's so we can go for the black. Okay. Here we go. So this was supposed to be here, I guess. Let's make it smaller. Sorry. Yeah. Now, I think this looks perfect. So let's do command D. Let's select and command D. Yeah. And then simply rotate this arrow so that we can get. Yeah, the perfect. And this should be aligned center. Here we go. And we can give any name like start or anything. Just enter the text. Again, the spacing is very. We can just simply drag it down to let's say Okay. Let's say one. Yeah. And we can write. Anything, any name you can give Again, we can give it some color. In this, we can add a black color. Yeah. D. So you can see there is less, but here we have more. Yeah. I done? Yeah, it looks cool, right? We can simply do it. Okay. Let's go for the next one. Make it Circle by clicking button. We'll get oval, but simply use the shift. I just skipped 1 second. I'll just try it once. Yeah. It's 4501 by 4501. Make it four 50. Then here. Let's make it black. Yeah. Okay. Adding that text. We can add 1 second. Sorry. Yeah. First, this was black. So first, we need to change this to white so that our text will be visible. So we can write as lineup. These are all the random names I've given. You guys can use any names you want. Let's align it to the center. This is the center now. The border line here I have to added the green. Let's add some nice bright green color. Yeah, cool. But if I change this to this, then it looks bright and beautiful. Also I can add some shadows. This really makes very beautiful. Let me show you. 1 second. Okay. And also. This is the bla part. You know, it looks like I think eight is the big number. Let's get five. Yeah. So it looks cool, right? Okay. So, we are done. Here we can see we have made the three logos. In this first logo, we have covered the idea of bully operations like difference. In second, we have used how to make the arrow and the color combinations. And in third, we have used shadows and all the beautiful right borders. This is the way we can make logo. Thank you. This was. Thank you for this lecture. 12. Conclusion : Hello dear students.
