They're looking very nice with beautiful decorations on them. A simple and easy crochet keychain, a perfect gifting idea. You can use it also for a return gift. If you know the basics of crochet, then it's very easy. A 2. Crochet Supplies for Cream Cookie Keychain: Let's take a look at the crochet supplies that are required for making a cream cookie key chain. I'm using some leftover yarns. I'm using a brown shade one and a cream shade one for the cream filling and this brown shade for my cookies. You can see the thickness of the yarn. For this yarn, today, I'll be using a 2.5 millimeter hook. Stitch markers, a pair of scissor and a key chain. Based on the thickness of the yarn which you are using, you can either increase or decrease your hoop size. Since my yarn is a little bit thin, I'm using a 2.5 millimeter hook under tapestry needle, grab your crochet supplies. Let's get started. 3. Making the Cookies: First, let's make our cookie. I have taken my brown shaded yarn. Let's make a magic ring. A magic ring is ready. Now work chain two. This chain two won't be considered into the same ring work 12 sets of half double crochet. We made our first half double crochet. Now, grab a stitch marker and mark it over here. This will be our first half double crochet. Now we are going to work 11 more half double crochets I have worked five half double crochets, work the remaining seven half double crochets, I'll meet you at the end. I have made my 12 sets of half double crochet, pull this yarn, and close the magic ring. Now, remove the stitch marker over here. And in our first half double crochet work a slip stitch. Our first round is ready, you'll be having a total of 12 half double crochets and the first chain two won't be counted. Now moving on to round number two, make three chains, one, two, and three and work a double crochet in the same space. Done. Now at the top of our third chain, I'm inserting my stitch marker over here. That is my first stitch and the double crochet is my second stitch. We have worked two stitches in the same stitch. Now into our next stitch, we'll be working two double crochets. Into the third stitch again work. Two double crochets. In round number two, we'll be working two double crochets in each and every stitch. Work two double crochets in each and every stitch, I'll meet you at the end. I have reached the end of round number two. Now we'll be having a total of 24 sets of stitches including this chain three over here. Now we'll remove the stitch marker and make a slip stitch at the top of your third chain over here. Moving on to round number three, make a chain one. This chain won't be considered as a stitch and into the same stitch work a single crochet. After working the single crochet, use your stitch marker and mark it here so that you'll find easy while you finish this round into the same stitch worker, another single crochet. I have worked two single crochets in our first stitch and into the next stitch, I'll be working one single crochet and into the next stitch, work two single crochets Now here, one single crochet into the next ditch, two single crochet. One single crochet. For round number three, we'll be following a pattern of working two single crochets and one single crochet alternatively. Follow the same pattern, I'll meet you at the end of this round. At the end of round number three, you'll be having a total of 36 set of single crochets. The chain one won't be considered. Now remove this stitch marker over here and into our first single crochet worker slip stitch. Now we are going to do edging for our cookie. For the edging, what we are going to do is chain and into the next stitch, work slip stitch Chain and into the next ditch, worker slip stitch. Chain one. Worker slip stitch. Chain one, and worker slip stitch. In this round also, you can use your stitch marker and mark it here. This was a stitch where we started. Follow the same pattern of making your edging chain one and a slip stitch. I'll meet you at the end. Now I have reached the end. Our edging is looking nice. Now I have made my last chain and into this first stitch, we'll make a slip stitch slip stitch is done, we'll cut off the thread. Now we'll weave off the ends. Y. Our cookie is ready. We'll make another set of this cookie in the same color. I have already made another set. Now it's ready. See the cookie is looking nice and thicker. Now let's move on and make our cream filling. 4. Making the Cream Filling: Now I have taken my second color for the cream filling. We'll start off with a magic ring. A magic ring is ready. Make two chains. This chain won't be considered like we did for a cookie, we are going to work 12 half double crochets in this magic ring. I have made my first half double crochet and here I am using my stitch marker and marking it. Now work half double crochet. Work half double crochets until you have 12. I'll need you at the end. Now we have a total of 12, half double crochets. Now let's tighten this magic ring. We have tightened our magic ring. Now remove the stitch marker and make a slip stitch in our first half double crochet. At the end of round number one, you'll be having a total of 12 half double crochets. Now for our next round work chain two. This will be our first half double crochet and into the same stitch worker, another half double crochet. Using a stitch marker, mark the top of your chain two now into our next stitch work, two half double crochet. In this round, we'll be working two half double crochets in each of the stitches. This will be the pattern. Follow the same way of making two half double crochets all the way around. I'll meet you at the end. I have reached the end. At the end, you'll be having a total of 24 stitches along with our chain two. Now at the top of our chain two, we'll make a slip stitch. Round number three, work a chain one. This won't be considered into the same stitch work, a single crochet, two single crochets. So now using a stitch marker, mark your first single crochet over here into the next stitch, one single crochet. Work one single crochet and into the next stitch work two single crochets. We'll be alternatively working two single crochets and one single crochets. Now I have worked one and into the next stitch, we'll be working two single crochets. One, follow the same pattern of making two single crochets in one stitch, followed by one single crochet in the next stitch. I'll meet you at the end of this round. We have reached the end. Now we'll remove the stitch marker over here and we'll make a slip stitch in your first single crochet over here. Our cream filling is ready. Now we are going to make a final edging. Final edging, what I'm going to do is I'm going to work a slip stitch in each of the stitches. Here I made my first slip stitch. I'm using my stitch marker so that I don't overdo it. Into each and every stitch, we'll be working a slip stitch. This is for our edging. I have reached my end for this edging. We'll cut off this extra yarn over here. Here is a stitch marker, we'll remove it. I have finished this. We'll weave off this end and we'll see how to attach our key chain for this. Our cream filling is ready, and both cookies are also ready. Our cookie and our cream filling is ready. Now let's assemble it. 5. Assembling the Cream Cookie Keychain: Y. Now we have fixed it. See, it's looking nice and sturdy and it's looking like a real cookie. Our cookies are looking very cute and nice. If you're using a thicker yarn, then you can increase your hook size. When you're using a thicker yarn, you'll get a little bit bigger sized cookie. Our cream cookie kitchen is ready. 6. Crochet Supplies for Summer Hat Keychain: Let's take a look at the crochet supplies that are required for making our hat key chain. I'm using Olivia brand yarn, and the shade that I'm using today is lavender, stitch markers, a pair of scissor, a key chain, a tapestry needle. Today I'll be using a two millimeter hook. And we need crochet threads for making for our decoration. For our flower making, I'll be using a 1 millimeter hook today. Grab your crochet supplies. Let's get started. 7. Making the Summer Hat: So grab your crochet yarn and make a magic ring at first. A magic ring is ready. Now work three chains. One, two, and three. This chain won't be counted into the space work 20 sets of double crochet one. After working your first double crochet, using a stitch marker, mark it over here. This is our first double crochet. Second. I have worked five double crochets, work 15 more double crochets. I'll meet you when I have a total of 20 double crochets. Now I have a total of 20 sets of double crochets. This chain three won't be considered. Now, pull this extra thread and close your magic ring. Remove the stitch marker over here. Now, in your first double crochet over here, workers lip stitch. Our round number one is finished. Moving on to round number two, we'll be working single crochet, start off with chain one and this chain won't be considered now into the same stitch work one single crochet. At the end of round number two, you'll be having a total of 20 single crochets and your first chain one won't be considered. Make one single crochet in each and every stitch. I'll meet you once I reach this end, our hat has started to curl up and at the end of round number two, we'll be having a total of 20 single crochets. After you reach the end, instead of doing a slip stitch into your first single crochet, what I'm going to do is I'm going to work a single crochet into it. We'll be working in continuous round here I'm making my single crochet over here. This will be the first single crochet for my round number three and mark it here with your stitch marker so that you don't get confused to start your next round. Now continue the same pattern of making one single crochet into each and every stitch over here. Now we are working round number three. For two more rounds, we'll be following the same pattern of continuous single crochets. At the end of each round, instead of making a slip stitch, work a single crochet and continue it. So this is my round number three. Round number four and five, follow the same pattern. I'll meet you when I finish my round number five. I have reached the end of round number five. Round number two, three, four and five, I have made continuous single crochets. Without making a slip stitch, I continuously work single crochets. Now remove the stitch marker over here. This is our first ditch and into the first ditch now, work a slip stitch. Fine. So our heart has started taking shape. Now, what you're going to do is we are going to work chain four. One, two, three, and four. After working four chains, we are going to make a slight difference in making our double crochet, yarn over, go through the space, yarn over, pull through. For a normal double crochet, we'll yarn over and go through first two loops. Now, yarn over, go through the first loop. Now yarn over, pull through next two and yarn over, pull through the last two. Now into the same stitch, I work two stitches. Now, yarn over, go into the next phase. Yarn over, pull through. You'll be having three loops. Yarn over, pull through the first loop, yarn over into the next two loops, and yarn over into the last two loops. Into the same stitch, work another stitch the same way. Yarn over, pull through the first loop. Yaro pull through next two loop and Yaro pull through the last two loops. In the same manner, we'll be working two sets in each of our previous stitches. Follow the same pattern. In this round, you'll be having a total of 40 stitches, including this chain four. I'll meet you at the end. As you can see, now our heart is almost ready. We have our edging remaining. At this round, you'll be having a total of 40 stitches, including this chain four. Now, make a slip stitch at the top of your chain four. Now for our edging, what I'm going to do is make a chain one and slip stitch into the same stitch. Now, chain one and slip stitch into your next stitch. Chain and slip stitch into the next stitch. Chain, Slipstitch into your next stitch. Follow the same pattern of working the edging. I'll meet you at the end. Our hat is looking very nice and our edging is looking very beautiful. I have made my last chain one here and now make a slipstitch into your first stitch. Done, our hat is ready, we cut off this extra yarn. Now we'll make the decorations for our hat. 8. Decorating the Summer Hat: For making a flow, I have taken the crochet thread. Now make a magic ring. I'm using my 1 millimeter hook. My magic ring is ready. Now work chain three, one, two, and three. After working chain three, work a double crochet. After working double crochet, work chain two and into this space, work a lip stitch. Our first petal is ready. Now again, work chain three into this space, work a double crochet chain two, and into this space, worker lipstich our second petal is ready. Similarly, work three more petals. Start off by making a chain three, followed by a double crow share. Chain two and a slip stitch. Five petals are ready. Now pull this magic ring and close it. Our flour is ready. Now cut off this yarn. Make a slip to make a chain and tighten it, and we'll tie both of these threads together. H our flour is ready. I have made another flower. To flowers are ready. Now we'll see how to decorate our hat. I have taken a cream color yarn. We are going to wrap this around this hat over here and we are going to decorate it. Measure the circumference over there and cut the desired yarn. Now twist it well. I have twisted my yarn now place the yarn like this and we are going to stitch it together here. I'm using my same yarn and we are going to stitch this the same way, we'll stitch it all around here. We have finished it, and this is looking nice. Now we'll cut off this extra yarns over here. It's looking nice. Now we'll fix our flowers over here. In the same way, either you can glue it or you can use a needle and you can stitch it together. I so now it's looking nice and beautiful. We'll weave off the ends. We'll weave off this end and I'll show you how to fix a keychain over there. We'll see how to attach a keychain over here. O. Keychain is ready. These two hat keychain, I made it using my Olivia brand yarn and this one, I made it using red heart yarn. Since the red heart yarn is a little bit thicker than this yarn, it is looking a little bit bigger in size. Based on the thickness of your yarn, you can reduce the hook size. Our beautiful crochet hat keychain is ready, a perfect one for return gift. 9. Class Project: So our crochet hat is looking very cute and beautiful. For class project, you can try this hat in different color combinations, and for the decorations, instead of making these flowers, you can even use beads or any other decorating items. For crochet cookie key chain, you can do it in different colors for the cream which we have made in between, you can use different colors like pink or orange and you can try it.
