1. Introduction: Hi, my name is nice and low and I'm very happy
for today's class, we are going to
learn how to make some beautiful crochet
earrings in Africa shape. This is very simple when
it requires someone who has basic knowledge of how
not to single crochet, how to do chains also do
increase and decrease. So yes, it is for beginners. But at least you need to
have basic knowledge of crushing for you to be able
to make these earrings.
2. Class Project: The project of this class
is going to be very easy. We're going to crochet
together these earrings. So what I've done, I've divided the class
into two major part. The first part is
going to have 12 rows, and then the second
part is going to have the last 12 froze. Also, you need to follow and crochet and long because
while I'm crushing, I'm going to be telling
you on each rows how many stitches that
you're going to be making, and any other things
that is required to make on that draws back
if you need to increase, decrease, chain more than one. All that I'm going to be
telling you for each rows. So what you're going to do, you're going to
crush it along with me so that you can
finish together. So in case the video is a
bit faster, don't worry, because you can just pause, cross shape and number stitches, and then play again
and continue. Then please don't forget
to share your project, the final project of your
earrings so that we can see how beautiful you
work has been done. Okay? So it's very
simple, very easy. Just follow the steps that
I'm going to be giving you on this video and you're
going to be done in no time. This is a very simple things
to do and very fast to do.
3. Tools and materials: These are the tools that
you're going to need. K, you need some urine. You are going to need a crochet hook at two
millimeter crochet hook. Two millimeter crochet hook. Some urines hoax. I'm gonna be using these words and something to cut your
yarn once you're done. This is also going to help
me open the earrings holes. Okay. I'm going to show
you how to do that. Okay.
4. How to increase the stitch count: I'm going to show you
two different ways. We're going to be increasing
the count of our stitches. So for example, here on this rule we have
how many stitches? 12345678910. Now, I want to increase one teach on these on the next row. And I want it to be increased
on the last stitch. So I'm going to chain
around as usual. Then single crochet. Now we have one
stitch remaining. So I'm going to
increase on visas, teach on this last stitch. So what does it mean to
increase on this last stage? This is what I'm going to do. I'm going to single crochet
twice on the same stitch. That's what the first one. And this is the second one. Single crochet twice
on the same speech. So let's count again,
1234567891011. Previous rule we had ten, but now on this row we have 11. So let's say we're going to want to increase
again on this side. So I'm going just
to single crochet. Right now we still have
elaborate stitches. This is our chain. I'm
going to count it. This is the first Teach
One, 234567891011. I want the count of our
stitches to be 12th. Going to single crochet stitch. I'm going to single crochet
twice on the same stitch. That's going to be increased. Now, if we count, we should have 12 single
crochet, 123456789101112. So that means we have increased. And you can see from
this small sample, you are seeing that
the way we are increasing is changing the
line is not straight anymore, but it's going this way. So this shows that we've been increasing the
number of features. So another way we are
going to be increasing, if I want us to increase at the beginning of our
work, not at the end. We're going to be
changing more than once. For example, I want
us to increase one mole teach on
this row, okay? But from the beginning, so I'm going to
chain twice, one. And then to turn my work. Then I'm going to start single crocheting on the
second chain from my hook. And I'm not going
to count this one. So the first gene, this is the first gene. And then the second chain. I'm going to insert in-between the chain and then
single crochet. And this is going to
be our first stitch. Then go to the next stitch and
continuous single crochet. So let's count this
time we should have 13 single crochet,
12345678910111213. So we increased
at the beginning. So let me say I want
us to increase to more stitches from the beginning to not only won two more
from the beginning. So we are going to chain 123. So this is going to be, you're going to be seeing it. Most of the time. We're
going to be doing this type of increase
on our payroll. So after changing three, we want to increase tool. So we're going to start
from the second chain. From the book. We're not going to
go to this one. So this is going to
be the first one and then the second one. And then we insert in-between,
In-between the chain, the middle, and then
we single crochet one. And then you come here again, another chain in-between you do to increase that you've
done at the beginning. And then you continue
single crochet as usual. Then we're going to
have, we have 13. That means you've added two, so we're going to have
15 single crochets. This is going to
be the first one. So I'm going to count
123456789101112131415. So those are the two methods we're going to be
using to increase.
5. How to decrease the stitch count: How to do or decrease. Okay? She's how we're going
to be doing it. Let's say I want to
decrease the first stitch. I chain 1 first. Then I want to decrease
this first stage. Meaning if I want
to decrease it, I want to eliminate this stage is not going to have another
stitch on top of it. So I take Do I need to insert
my arrow on this teach that I want to decrease
both roadways teach. So for yelling over
as we normally do, I need to insert again
on the next stitch and then Yan over the second stitch and then pull through
all the three loops. Instead of having to single crochet onto
these two stitches, we're going to have only one. And then a continued
to single crochet. Let's say I also want to
decrease this last stitch, okay? This one. I'm going to insert my hook
because when I'm decreasing, I'm going to only need
to create one stitch on top of the next two
stitches that add together. So I'm going to
insert my hook and then let's insert
again, are these lasts? And then yarn over. Pull through three groups. That means I've created one stitch on top,
both two stitches. So previously we
had 15 stitches. Now let's count and see
how many stitches we have after decreasing two stitches. 1234567891011121315 minus two stitches. We have 13 stitches. So this is how I want
it to be decreasing. You can increase anywhere
in between or at the end of the row
or at the beginning. But we are going to be mostly
working towards the edges, like we are going to be
increasing or decreasing at the beginning or at
the end of the rows.
6. Part one: Row 1 to Row 12: We're going to start
with a slipknot. Then we're going to chain 41234. Now we're going to single
crochet three stitches. So we're going to start
from the second chain. No, this one. The second chain. How the hook we're not going to come at this one on the hook, willing to come from this 112 and then single crochet,
three stitches. Then we're going
to chain to one. And then our interest as single crocheting
from the second chain. This one is not counted. This is the first one
and then the second one. So we're going to single
crochet three stitches. And then we have one
remaining teach here. Then we're going to increase due an increase on this last stitch. So this is the first
single crochet and then we're going to
add one are the same. So in total, we should
have five single crochet. So this is the first 112345. Then we're going to
chain two again. Single crochet, five stitches. Then we're going to do an increase on the
last remaining stitch. So on this third
row we should have seven stitches in total, 123456. And then the last one, gene one, tiny single
crochet stitches. So after doing six stitches, we're going to do an increase
on this last stitch. So you have to be careful
because it's tiny. You know, forget
about the last teach. So this is going to
be our last ditch. This is all elastic. So this is where we're
going to do an increase. On this row. On the fourth row, we should have eight
stitches in total. So this is 12345678. Make sure you always
count to reassure that you are doing it correctly. Okay, so now we're
going to chain one hour and then we're
going to do a decrease. We're going to decrease
the first stitch. Then we're going to
single crochet six. And this is going to
be our first stitch. So these willing to count
it as the first one. Then we're going to do an, an increase on
these last stitch. Okay? So here we need to have eight
stitches, again, 12345678. Then you're going to
chain to turn your work. Then we lead to single
crochet stitches. After doing eight stitches, we're going to do an increase. The last stitch. Then we're going to chain three single crochet,
11 stitches. After June 11th stitches, we're going to induce an
increase on the last stitch. Then we're going to
decrease the first stitch. After decreasing
the first stage, we are going to single
crochet stitches. This is going to
be the first one. Then we're going to chain one. Decrease the first stage. Afternoon cruising the
first stage we're going to single crochet 11 stitches. After doing 11 stitches, we're going to change to turn our single
crochet stitches. After doing 12 stitches, we're going to chain three single crochet, 1313 stitches. We're going to do an
increase on the left. After the last increase. We're going to chain one. Turn our single
crochet, 14 stitches. After June 14th stitches, we're going to do an
increase on this last teach them the longer chain three. Hello.
7. Part two: Row 12 to Row 24: Single crochet stitches. After 18 stitches, we're going to change
three hour mark single crochet in 19. After doing 19 stitches. We're going to do an
increase on the last teach. Then gene one single
crochet and two stitches. After doing one stitches
willing to chain five. Terminal I work 21. So after June 21 stitches, we're going to chain one. Then turn our work, then decrease the first stage. Then decreasing the first stage. We're going to single
crochet stitches. And remember, this
first stitch will decrease is the first stitch is going to be counted
as the first trial. After June 20th
teaches remainder, Jean Piaget and
then teens ditches.
8. How to weave in the ends: So after cutting LAN, we're just going to
weave in the ends. This is what I do. I use may push and pull it in roles that I just look at the rows and then I pulling them down
with a new row. So the next row I pulled that it's invisible. Each row. Then I can do the
same for this one. So go back, do the same
for the next earring, and then come back. Then we add the earrings.
9. How to add earings hooks: Now that I have the two
sides of my urines, we're going to add
the earrings hoax. So this is what I
wanted to tell you, how I use this tool to
open my earring. Hope. So I'm just going to then I think in the
middle is based then you can bring any man. Yeah. Then the same with this one. Now here we go. We have two cute, beautiful earrings
in Africa, ship.
10. Finishing up: I believe he has made
these cute earrings. Very proud of yourselves. Please show the picture of your earrings below so that we can all see and
appreciate your work. If you have any
question or comment, don't hesitate to reach out. I will respond as soon as I can. Thank you. And this is
the end of our class.
