What is Creative writing ?: Have you ever wondered who writes the script of TV shows? The brilliant comedy shows, what you watch? The web sees the film, script, novels, great books, who win lot of prices. Now, it is all about creative writing. Creative writing as a genre in which you explore your creativity and write stories based on it. If you want to be a creative writer, this course is going to help you develop you as a creative writer. So the first thing you need to do is you need to instigate your imagination, your creativity, your innovation. You need to think out-of-the-box. Many times you will come across situations and circumstances that you might feel attracted towards. Be better solutions you get to the problems. The more creative and wonderful decision-maker you'll become. More creative writer is someone who writes exceptionally well using his creative mind. So I am a person who thinks beautifully, logically and systematically. I need to be equally good person in writing my thought process in beautiful and correct lines. And that's the recipe of being a creative writer. It's not similar to what journalist or academics rate. It has completely different form of writing. Creative writing, user's imagination, census, and emotions. You must have seen while you read a novel or watch a web series. There are different characters. All the characters have their own interpretation. What is their role, how they're going to act in that particular segment? It is all decided based on their own character. And this is where your senses, your emotions, your expedience comes into picture. How do you bring what you have experienced in life? All have seen through interactions, through wizards, through traveling into your life creative writing, scenario. It is also based on facts and information. What is Imaginative language ?: Your imagination is the power which you can use to become a creative writer. More you imagine, the better you imagine. And the broader you imagine, the more quality of content you produce. And that's the beauty of a creative writer. He has great imaginative powers. He can imagine any kind of situation based on which he can drape a story, a fiction. That's the characteristic of a creative writer. Now what do you mean by imaginative language? Have you ever heard of anecdote? What? If you are trying to talk about something, an interesting story about a real incident or pose, right? So this is something which is very common once we talk with our friends, right? For example, I might give example of my own dime in nineties when we used to go to school and how the education system was in how it is today in 2022. So I am narrating a story through an example by giving an anecdote. By telling a story. For example, well, in my time we used to study through blackboards. The teachers used to write on boats with the help of a chalk. It was all cognitive learning, which was based on real lifetime experience of sitting in the class and learning. Once the teacher is giving the lecture. What is a metaphor? Well, you must have heard that people give example of something relating to another aspect. For example, life is like a highway. He's a shining star. The combat is enough life as with the highway that it goes on and on. He's a shining star. So particular person has been talked about. He's very good in terms of studies. So I'm giving and relating be characteristic of that posts with a different object. So a metaphor as a figure of speech in which a word or phrase denotes one kind of object or idea. You start to imagine things. You start to look into things. So if you're reading a story where a person is going to A-sharp and buying groceries. Now, you'll start imagining that person is really going to be sharp and buying groceries. In there. He came upon someone. We never met, but was quite interested to know about him. This is called imaginative language. 4. Essentials of Copywriting ?: Now how do you become a creative writer on how do you do create a writing? Well, writing is all about being simple, yet effective in the minds of the reader. You need to make your writing fluid. And with expressions, you need to make it easy for the person to understand. But once we talk about creative writing, you need to focus only on creative writing. Which means the part which you're rating has to come with your imagination. Something which you believe can take the form of a story. Now once you start to learn the process of creative writing, you need to make you feel comfortable. In a distraction free environment. When I say distraction free environment, it means an environment free of noise. Distraction in terms of people gathering, aren't making a lot of fast. So it should be a quiet place. It should be a place where you can focus on your instincts and deliver the best. The writing style. You can choose, either your bedroom or a coffee shop. You can also write while you are sitting and sipping your coffee in your garden. You need to find the strength and weaknesses of where you feel comfortable in where you do not. You need to challenge yourself and different genres. So I may be a good short story writer. But why can't I write a novel? Even if I cannot, why should I not try it once? I should write different nonfiction stories, I should publish a book as well. That's how I need to develop my mindset. I need to explore new types of writing with precision and competency. Becoming a short story writer is the easiest way for you to become a creative writer. Many times, once we sit alone and we think about something, we come up with lots of poetry, personal essays, which can again be a form of creative writing for you. You can also learn from other writers. The best way to do that is to read and watch. Other writers speak. Many of them have their own courses. You can join them, learn their style of writing, how they develop their own thought process, how they write and do creative writing. Learn from their experiences, get the tips and tricks. It'll be of a great help. For example, heard one writers say that in order to become a good creative writer, you need to write something. It could be on any topic, any number of lines. But unless and until you start writing, you cannot become a creative writer. That's so simple yet effective advice that in order to become a creative writer, I need to start writing first. 5. Short stories. A short story is something which you imagine. A story which has characters defined by your own instinct. You are letting them play through a story. You have a body, you have a starting. That's where you are defining your own writing style. Many times, we listened to good people giving speeches, especially the famous world leaders. You need to define the character, setting, plot, the conflicts between different characters, the theme of the entire story. Essays are an easy way to write something which you strongly believe is true. It could be a personal essay, descriptive essay. An essay based on facts and figures with positive arguments. It could also be a narrative essay where you are defining the way you feel about a certain topic. Many times. In fact, most of the people have the habit of writing journals. You preserve your memory, thoughts, and experiences. Every day through this form of writing. You can make your writing crystal clear and appear to be evocative. Way you're speaking to someone on paper. You're expressing your entire day. That's how you're going to bring ideas to reality. How to solve a problem. Many times you may compare certain things. You'll find the cause and the effect of a particular argument. Once you're writing something descriptive, you need to bring the idea, the reason why it's flowing forward. Skills required to become a Creative writer ?: So now let's talk about certain skills required for you to become a creative writer. What exactly you have learned so far about creative writing? What? Creative writing is a form of writing in which you're using your imagination, your creative thinking abilities to develop a story, to write something which is based on your power of imagination. It is original and expressive. It expresses your feelings, thoughts, and beliefs. The idea and the purpose of writing creative is to bring facts and figures on the table. Start the journey of being a creative writer. Read as much as you can. Start journaling, right? Every day. What happened with you throughout the day? Ten different forms of courses. Practice using literary devices. At the end, right, right, right. The more you write, the better you will become. So you need to keep your audience in mind before you start or think. To even write. Write what you know. If you don't know, do research, gather facts and figures. Creativity is the key. No matter how much information you have, no matter how much you know about a particular subject. If you cannot put it creatively in form of words, that might not be effective. So you need to push the boundaries of your imagination and come up with a story which you are able to define and bring to a conclusion. You need to be good at research and coming up with solutions to difficult problems. Also, your ability to analyze and do analysis of different forms of data available is a prerequisite. You need to give good time to revise your own ideas and content. 8. Tips for creative writing: First, when you're writing a short story, you need to develop your characters very carefully. Your character should come out naturally with their own point of view. Every character has its own point of view. And that has to be clear and expressive. Your writing should be in a form of dialogue, which is not only through the characters, but also from the viewpoint of the lighter. You can use different forms of literary devices. Character development, understanding the team, developing the plot, having a point of view through different settings and dialogues, are some of the important techniques in creative writing. As I've already defined. You can use anecdotes, examples from the past, metaphors and similes compare what you're feeling with something which people already know. Use different figures of speech in order to get your imagination and emotional appeal to the people. Write what you know. Make yourself and your readers hook to what they're reading. Your description you are heading. You first line should be so attractive that readers can not ignore it at any cost or get things right for yourself. Write about what you know and what you don t know through a lot of research led to characters talk about their own story. You need to keep polishing your writing skills that you can only do once you read and practice writing. Letter-writing reach out to people. Because once people start feeding, they'll start giving you feedback. And that's how you're going to become a great creative writer.
