2. History, Make it personal and where this course comes in: You may be familiar with the 100 day project
idea because you've probably seen it online or heard other people talk
about their experiences. However, what precisely is it? At its most basic, it's a promise to devote yourself to a certain
creative endeavor and carry it out regularly
for 100 days in row. Making anything pertaining
to your selected action every day entails frequently sharing your creation
with people. By the time this is all through, you'll have a master
collection of your everyday works that demonstrate your development
and improvement. The history of the 108
initiative is fascinating. This method is attributed
to Michael Byrott, a partner at the esteemed
Design firm Pentagram for having introduced
it to his students. Years later, another
imaginative person named Ellie Luna went
one step further. She made the 100 day
initiative available online, turning it into an
international movement. It's an official phenomenon now with dates and a devoted
Internet community. Whenever inspiration
strikes, you can start your own independent
100 day project or join many others in
the official version. This concepts adaptability
allows it to be customized to your own timetable
and artistic objectives, which is what makes
it so beautiful. In this course, you'll learn a more advanced version of
this that helps us to identify and have a better depth of understanding of emotional
intelligence and use it in a way that
helps us move past the internal struggle
and into strength. The 100 day project is a
deeply personal journey. Some people struggle with it, others find it to
be transformative. Maybe the first buzz fades or obstacles to
creativity appear. People giving up
on the project in the middle of this
is not unusual. That's where this
course comes in. It's my intention
with this program to help you navigate the
100 day adventure. We'll address typical problems, get past roadblocks and inspire you all the way through
your artistic journey. With the 180 endeavor, I've experienced extreme love, extreme frustration and
everything in between. I've taken it on in
a variety of ways, had both epic failures
and victorious finishes, and even dabbled in some
experimental methods. I've learned a great
deal about leveraging the advantages of the artistic approach
throughout it all. I can't wait to share these
revelations with you, and we'll go on to tactics
to help you succeed during your 100 day
endeavor, not just get by. It will provide you with the resources and
encouragement you need to successfully complete
your 100 day trip regardless of your level of
experience as a creative. It can be intimidating
to take on 100 day project since it requires a major
time commitment, nearly a third of the year. But the advantages I've had
are genuinely life changing. In the next lesson, let me explain why I
strongly recommend starting this creative
path for you and anyone else who may
be thinking about it.
3. The benefits of the 100 Day Project: Let's get into why a 100
day project is beneficial. Skills. A 100 day project's
greatest advantage is the amazing effect it
has on your skill set. You'll be able to brush up on old abilities or pick
up brand new ones. Your skills will improve at a faster rate and
become more powerful, rapid and simple to
use if you train consistently for
a full 100 days. This 100 day journey was more than a way
to pass the time. It gave me a strong
feeling of discipline. I discovered how to maintain my commitment and concentrate, even when my motivation waned. Above all, I developed grit and unyielding will to
overcome obstacles. I have no doubt that this
increased my resilience and a stronger fortitude
that will help me in so many ways
beyond this project. Fun. What's the nicest aspect
about the 100 day project, the sheer delight of it, that allowed me to forget the internal doubt
in the process, rediscover the joy of
creating and rekindle my childish enthusiasm for
learning and exploring. Creating. Rather than
passively ingesting content, this initiative
sparked by creativity. The process of creating
something oneself providing a far greater sense of fulfillment than merely
taking things in? The joy of the journey. Perhaps the most
valuable lesson I learned was rediscovering
the pure joy of creating. With this project. I became
more intent on enjoying the creative process rather than just getting
the desired result. I love the process of creating itself now
that I can apply the steps into this course and put the right methods in
place while learning. Consistency. By using
the 100 day project, it broke my get
rich quick mindset. Rather, it highlighted the
importance of consistency. I learned that by putting in
a lot of effort every day, I could learn new coding styles and other things I
set out to learn. I could also create
whole new strategies that worked for me to
get better faster. The whole experience totally
changed my perspective. Putting in the effort is no
longer just a good idea. It's a core belief that I
carry with me every day. Developing new habits. The 100 day project isn't
just about the final product. It's a great tool
for habit formation. Dedicating yourself to
a daily creative act for 100 days can solidify that activity into a routine that
doesn't feel arduous. Break through creative blocks. It's pretty common to find
yourself in a creative d. Do you feel like your
mind is a deflated balloon? A 100 day project is the
perfect way to shatter the road block and get the
river of creativity flowing. In my opinion, it's like a creative firework
show every day. When I turn on the light, thoughts start flying
all around me. Seeing all these
new possibilities come to life is
the coolest thing. Without a doubt my favorite
aspect of the entire project. Community. The Internet is crawling with forums all
about 100 day challenges. They're light gold mines for
inspiration, encouragement, and a whole lot of support from people on the same path as you. Carefree. What's one of the coolest things about
the 100 day project? It completely breaks you free from caring what
other people think. I used to tie my worth to what
others thought of my work. But now, who cares? These projects are all about exploration and messing
around with creative fun, and the fear of rejection
simply melts away. It's truly like having the
key to creative superpowers. Muscle. This whole
experience totally woke me up to the power of daily creativity.
It's like a muscle. The more you work it,
the stronger it gets, and guess what happens to strong muscles, they get hungry. And that's exactly
what happened to me. My brain went into overdrive. Ideas were flying everywhere. I was practically overflowing
with creative energy. Mastery. Besides crushing
100 day challenges, also pick a word to own
for the whole year. This year, it's
all about mastery, and it goes hand in hand with crushing
those projects, right? The more you practice, the better you'll get at
something, guess what? 100 day challenges
are amazing for building new skills or
sharpening old ones. Myself. The deep self discovery that has resulted
from the efforts has been the most
significant lesson. Working on creative
projects every day has helped me better understand
what inspires me. What keeps me going
and why I create? This profound metamorphosis has been driven by this
increased self awareness. Obviously, 100 day projects have taken over as my
favorite creative activity. They have completely captivated my interest in
learning new things. And I've been immersing
myself in everything, including design, music and art. The only question left is, what crazy creative challenge
will I take on next?
4. Untapped Potential Awaits!: This is a wonderful time to be building your 100 day project. Here's where you get used to
your creativity to create something you'll be
actively working on for the next 100 days. I urge you to engage in
this brainstorming session, even if you already
have an idea or two. This whole 100 day thing is a great way to
unlock possibilities you might have totally missed. The idea is to look beyond the conventional
artistic works and investigate the ideas

influence on your life. Set aside your constraints. This project is all about you. Anything that piques
your curiosity and motivates you to
advance can be it. This process will lead you

mapping is more your style, don't be afraid to do so. Feel free to add new ideas
as they come to you and you can arrange the same phrases or thoughts in separate columns, let your imagination go wild. There's no right
or wrong sequence. The first column, untapped

notes, or make sketches? Location, location, location. Will you finish the
assignment while on a particular outing at
home or during a commute. It's critical to have time. How much time a day will
you spend on your project? Will it be a brief
artistic outburst or a more thorough
investigation? Step four, allow the

13. From Brainstorming Bonanza to Project Paradise Choosing Your Epic Adventure: You what if list
is brimming with possibilities following an
intense brainstorming session. The difficult part
is about to begin. How do you pick just one project out of this amazing mess? The following will help you
sort through the confusion and choose the ideal
100 day adventure. Stand out stars,

come to mind right away? Are there solutions

sparkle with excitement. These first instinctual
feelings should be noted since they may contain
important information. The great omission What you didn't write down is just as significant as what
you did write. Maybe you were afraid
and it stopped you. Returning to these hidden
passions shouldn't be feared. They may contain the secret to a project that would
genuinely please you. The impossibility paradox. Did you ever have a
thought that said, I couldn't possibly do that in response
to a certain idea? Well, that's encouraging. The tasks that frighten
us the most frequently challenge us to advance
and broaden our knowledge. Accept the challenge
and follow its path. Finding your perfect fit. Fun, challenge, weirdness,
the winning trio. As you reduce your alternatives, give top priority to the initiatives that
combine excitement, difficulty, and a
dash of surprise. You'll be driven, involved, and excited to take on each
day with this combination. The couldn't do whisper? Having trouble coming up
with a choice at all? Which project feels like
it absolutely needs to be done is a vital
question to ask oneself. Is there a thought that
urgently whispers in your ear? This could be assigned for you. The regret factor. Picture yourself in one year. Which initiative would
you regret abandoning? Would you be angry with
yourself for passing up the chance to learn make or
experience something new? Let your decision be guided by this possible regret.
Uniquely you. Is there a concept that you
alone could make a reality? Does it use your
unique perspective, experiences or skill set? Seize the chance to showcase your originality by working on a project that's all yours. Selecting the
appropriate project is an essential first step. A 100 day epic trip awaits

with an amazing idea, let's examine some pointers and strategies to make your
voyage symbol pleasurable, attainable, and
eventually successful before jumping in headlong. You ideas are about to become a memorable 100 day adventure.
Now, let's get going. Recall that the
secret is to enjoy yourself and the ridiculousness
of the situation. Don't be scared to
try new things, fail, and improve your
project along the way. This is your opportunity
to investigate your creativity in a
novel and surprising way. Now, take out your
smaller piece of paper. Let's monster and get ready for an amazing journey
that will 100 days. Okay.
14. Ditch the Shoulds: We all have that voice
in our head telling us our project should
look a certain way. B super professional or follow some imaginary rule
book, but guess what? This is your challenge. Throw perfection out the window. Embrace the opportunity
to be wildly eccentric. Let your personality
shine through. Maybe you've had some
ideas brewing for a while, but haven't got around to them. Here's the secret. Sometimes procrastination can be a sneaky form of preparation. Use this challenge as
a chance to dust off those neglected
projects or unleash your creativity with
a quirky warm up. This is about doing something
because you're excited, not because you feel obligated. It's exploration, it's growth, and it's totally pressure free. Feeling lost and unsure
what you should be doing. That's totally okay. This challenge is all about
embracing the unknown. You might not have a fully
formed goal at the start, and that's perfectly acceptable. Just dive in and see where
the journey takes you. So ditch the shoulds, unleash your inner weirdo, and let's have some fun.
15. Consistency is King or Queen!: Today, we're talking about
ambition and consistency. It's a fantastic
quality to have, but we also need to be smart
about how we channel it. We have all those grand ideas, those projects that seem
epic, but overwhelming. It's easy to get caught up in the all or nothing mentality. Setting yourself up for potential burnout or
giving up entirely. Remember, the key to success
isn't one monumental push. It's about persistence. Think of your challenge
like a workout. Would you rather go
for a single brutal, 90 minute session that leaves
you sore and discouraged or consistently do a manageable
five minute routine every day for 100 days. Consistency wins every time. Let's say your daily
commute short. Don't let that discourage you. Even five to 10 minutes of focused effort can be
incredibly powerful. Write a few lines,
sketching idea. Learn a new skill. These micro wins add up. Think of them as quick, effective workouts
for your creativity. Imagine carving out
a dedicated space, a micro habitat where you
can unleash your creativity. This might be a specific
corner of your desk, a quiet spot in the park, or even just a few
minutes on the train. The key is to establish a consistent routine
rain or shine. The beauty of this approach
is that it's flexible. Your creative micro
habitat can be anywhere. Maybe it's a few minutes in the kitchen before coffee brews, those precious moments
before the kids wake up, or even a quick burst of inspiration on your
way home from work. Find what works best for you and commit to nurturing
your creativity daily.
16. Perfection is the Enemy of Progress: Let's talk about something real. If you go on the Internet today, you'll see incredible work from other 100 day project
participants. Bakers with showstopping cakes, artists creating
masterpieces, or aspiring architects crafting
mind blowing designs. It can be easy to
feel intimidated, right? But here's the thing. This challenge isn't about producing award winning
work every single day. It's about showing up, taking consistent
steps forward and honing your skills on
your own unique path. Don't get caught up in
the comparison trap. Focus on the tasks you can
realistically accomplish each day and celebrate your
progress big or small. What's the beauty
of this project? You don't need any fancy
equipment to participate. Forget the high DSLR cameras
and expensive supplies, grab a pen and a paper, or use the camera on your phone. The focus isn't on creating
museum worthy pieces. It's about nurturing
your creativity and building a
consistent practice. Remember, this isn't about
external validation. It's about self
discovery and growth. So embrace the low
fidelity method, have fun with the process, and let your creativity flow.
17. One Wild Ride at a Time!: You might be brimming
with incredible ideas, and that's awesome. But remember, 100
days is a long haul. Completing one major
project is like running a marathon,
not a quick jog. Speaking of marathons, let me tell you a story about a time I thought I could be
a human Marathon and a triathlon champion
at the same time. I saw myself churning out a complex app and a full
fledged book in 100 days. Spoiler alert. It
didn't end well. Both projects fizzled
out unfinished. Here's the key takeaway. Channel your energy into
one incredible journey. This allows you to really
dig into the details, research thoroughly, and uncover hidden gems within
your chosen project. Be open to trying new things, adapting your approach,
and learning as you go. See your idea take shape, gain momentum and transform
into something truly amazing.
18. Prep Like a Pro But Keep it Simple!: By now, by now, you might be feeling a
groove with your project, but even the smoothest
routines can hit a snag if you haven't set
yourself up for success. That's where a little
pre work magic comes in. Think of it like
preparing for a marathon. You wouldn't just show
up at the starting line without your running
shoes, right? The same goes for your
100 day challenge. Take a few minutes
to ask yourself, what do I absolutely
need to get started? Are you an artist who needs to gather your favorite
paints and brushes, a writer who needs a notebook
and a comfy writing chair? Even if your project is digital, having your computer
or tablet readily available and organized
can make a big difference. Imagine reaching
for a specific tool and not being able to find it. It can be a real
creativity killer. By having everything
within easy reach, you minimize frustration
and stay in the flow. While, that sounds
great and all, the key is prep doesn't
have to be complicated. Remember, a little
planning goes a long way. So take a few minutes
to prep your space, gather your tools, and set yourself up for a
successful 100 days.
19. Sharpen Your Creative Edge!: Today, we're talking about something crucial for
any creative project. Keeping your ideas
sharp and fresh. Imagine you're tackling
a tough piece of wood. A dull saw makes the job
frustrating and slow. The same ghosts or creativity. Just like a saw
needs sharpening, your creative mind needs
ongoing maintenance. So how do we keep our
creative edge sharp? It's all about actively
feeding your imagination. Here are some ways to sharpen your saw
during this challenge. Deep dive into your project. Research related topics, read books and articles,
or watch tutorials. This not only motivates you, but also equips you with valuable knowledge to streamline
your creative process. Gather kindling for
your artistic flame. Look beyond your
project specific needs. Watch inspiring movies, read motivational articles or
listen to thought leaders. These experiences can spark unexpected connections
that elevate your work. Remember, every bit
of knowledge or inspiration you'd gather is like gathering kindling for
your creative fire. The more fuel you have, the brighter and harder your
artistic flame can burn. Set aside some dedicated time to day to sharpen
your creative saw.
20. Beat Idea Block with Generative Content: We've all been there, staring at a blank page or
Canvas or screen, wondering what on
Earth to create next. But fear not fellow creatives, because today we're
talking about a secret weapon,
generative content. Think of it as a spark that
ignites your creativity. It takes something
unexpected and uses it as a springboard
for your project. It can be anything that gets those creative juices flowing. For example, during one of
my own 100 day projects, I wanted to draw more, but the biggest hurdle was simply picking something
to sketch every day. That's where generative
content came in. I started using
random phrases from a dictionary as prompts
for my drawings. It was surprising how those
weird and wonderful combos sparked my imagination. Here are a few generative
content ideas you can try. Dictionary dive, crack open a dictionary and pick random
word deserve phrases. Use them as inspiration
for writing prompts, sketches, or even song lyrics. Board game bonanza, dust off that word game
collecting dust on your shelf. Use the words you draw as starting points
for your project. Wikipedia's wisdom. Check out Wikipedia's
daily featured articles, learn something new every day, and use it as a jumping off
point for your project. It could be a historical event, a scientific discovery, or even a quirky
cultural phenomenon. Crowd source creativity.
Feeling stuck, bounce ideas off your
co workers or friends. You might be surprised by the inspiration you find
in a casual conversation. News nuggets. Let current
events spark your creativity. Use news articles as inspiration
for stories or artwork. The power of the push. Generative content is more
than just inspiration. It pushes you outside
your comfort zone. You might end up creating
something completely unexpected and that can
be incredibly exciting. Also, don't throw away
those generated ideas. Keep a list because you
never know when an idea that seemed weird at first might spark something amazing later. By using generative content, you can overcome some
dreaded idea block and keep your creative fire burning throughout your
100 day challenge. Okay.
21. Share the Journey But Don't Feel Pressured To!: Publicizing your project is a very effective way to motivate and hold
yourself accountable. One excellent method to
spread the news and create some enthusiasm
about your project is to post an announcement
on social media. Consider a pledge of your creative commitment
to the world. Sharing is totally
voluntary, though. There's no need
to share what you create with the world
every single day. The focus of this initiative is you and your
artistic development. Depending on how comfortable
you are with sharing, here are a few
different approaches. The public cheerleader. You think that daily updates and feedback are a great
idea. Then take it on. Join a helpful online
community by connecting with others on social media
and sharing your success. The selective share, do you like a more pick
and choose approach? Decide what works of
art to share and when. The private explorer. Do you wish to keep your project
a private investigation? That's all very well. You are the only audience that matters on
this trip of yours. Whatever path you go on, keep in mind that there
will be highs and lows. Your creations
will be amazing on days and not so good on others. Both are certainly
necessary for the process. Lastly, think about how you'll present your
finished product, a book, website, video, blog, article, or presentation. The options are
almost unlimited. It'll serve as a
concrete memento of your success and everything
you discovered along the way.
22. Craft Your Unique Hashtag, But Don't Stress!: Did you know that the
very first hashtag appeared on Twitter all
the way back in 2007. Since then, hashtags have become a fantastic way to connect with people online who
share your interests. So you've decided to share
your amazing project online. That's fantastic. But with
so much content out there, how do people get
to see your work? That's where hashtags come in. Choosing the right hashtags
can be like putting up a big bright sign that
says, Hey, creative people. Interested in your project
theme, come check it out. Hashtags can help you
reach a wider audience, connect with a community of
passionate creators and even spark interesting
conversations about your work. All right. So how do you create the perfect hash tag
for your project? Here are some tips
to get you started. First, theme it up. Think about the core
theme of your project. What are you focusing on
creating for these hundred days? Let's say you're on
a mission to draw a fantastical
creature every day. A hashtag like hashtag 100
days of mythical beasts, would be a great
way to connect with people who love fantasy art. Uniquely you but
wait there's more. What makes your project
stand out from the crowd? Maybe you're using a
specific technique, focusing on a unique
subject matter or incorporating
unusual material. Don't be afraid to get creative. For example, if you're painting landscapes with a focus on
creating interesting textures, you could try a
hashtag like hashtag, 100 days of textured landscapes. Now, remember, we want people to be able to
find your work easily. While a unique hashtag is great, you also want it
to be searchable. Avoid getting too specific with your hashtag because then no
one will be able to find it. Instead of hashtag, my
awesome 100 days of art, something like hashtag
abstract watercolors 100 might be a better choice. Finally, keep it catchy. Your hashtag should be
easy to remember and type short and sweet is
usually the way to go. A clear and concise
hash tag like hashtag watercolor daily
is a great example. The perfect hashtag
isn't everything. What truly matters is creating engaging content and
connecting with your audience. There are also some
popular project hash tags out there like hashtag, the 100 day project
that you can use in conjunction with
your unique hash tag to get even more exposure. So the takeaway here is
to have fun with it. Brainstorm your hashtag ideas that capture the essence
of your project.
23. Find Your Creative Tribe Optional!: Imagine this. You're working on a creative project alongside a whole team of people all working towards the
same goal on set days. There's a real sense
of camaraderie of being in it together, and that's the shared purpose that can be
incredibly inspiring. But hold on a second. That kind of big group
setting isn't for everyone. Maybe you prefer a more
intimate experience working on your project solo
or with just a close friend. That's totally okay. The key takeaway here
is the importance of having some
creative community, no matter how big or small. So how do you find your
own creative tribe? Here's a few ideas
to get you started. The accountability partner. Maybe you have a friend
or family member who's also interested
in creative pursuits. This could be your perfect
accountability partner. Find someone you can check in with regularly to
discuss your project, celebrate your wins,
offer encouragement, and pick each other up
when things get tough. Even a community of two can
be incredibly powerful. The Online Han. The Internet is a vast
and wonderful place, and there are online
forums dedicated to almost every artistic
endeavor imaginable. Jump in, connect with other creators, share
your successes, seek advice, and build your network of like minded people who
share your passion. The crowd cheerleader. Do you crave a larger,
more energetic group? Go for it. There's many formal 100
project programs out there. Or you can search for
online communities dedicated to your specific
artist discipline. The camaraderie and energy of a larger group can be
incredibly motivating. Remember, no matter how big or small your
creative tribe is, sharing the journey is key. Talk about your project online, participate in discussions, and offer support to others
in creative paths. Sharing not only keeps you accountable but also
has a ripple effect, inspiring and helping others
along their journeys, too. It's a win win
situation for everyone.
24. Embrace Your Unique Journey!: This is your project, your
unique creative journey. It's about exploring
your own creativity, developing your skills, and
pushing yourself to grow. That's what makes
this so special. Let's avoid getting caught up in comparisons with what
other people are doing. Remember, it's your
abilities, character, and life experiences that
shape your project and make it one of a
kind. Here's the key. Focus on enjoying the ride. Take time to relish the journey. See how much you've learned
and grown along the way. Be proud of yourself for taking this creative leave
and expressing yourself through the project. Don't forget to be grateful for the opportunity to explore
your artistic side. But here's the cool thing. This creative journey
isn't a solo adventure. There's a whole community
of amazing creators out there all working on their
own unique projects. Encourage and support
your fellow artists. Remember, happiness and
success are contagious. Celebrate their
achievements, recognize their hard work and genuinely
be excited for them. Seeing others succeed won't take away from your own journey. It will actually inspire
you to keep pushing forward and explore new creative
possibilities on your own path. Their victories can fuel your own creative fire and motivate you to set
even bigger goals. So remember, embrace
your unique journey, celebrate your progress,
support your fellow creators, and keep that
creative spark alive. Let's all keep inspiring
each other together.
25. Reflect and Record – Your Creative Journey Awaits!: This whole project has
been a lot of learning. And today, I want to
talk about how you can capture those valuable
lessons for the future. One way to do this is by creating a dedicated
journal for your project. Think of it as your
personal roadmap of your creative adventure. Now, in this journal, I want you to reflect on what
you've learned each day. What new skills
have you picked up? Did you overcome any
challenging obstacles? Did you make surprising
discoveries along the way? Don't forget to write
about your emotions too. Tracking your
emotional journey adds another layer of meaning
to the whole experience. As you work on your project, keep an eye out
for those moments where something just clicks. Maybe you've
discovered a technique that's surprisingly
easy to use or perhaps you've had
a sudden burst of inspiration that led
to a brand new idea. These are your golden nuggets of creative wisdom.
Write them down. These insights can be a great resource down the
road when you're looking for a spark of inspiration for a new project. Let's face it. Throughout your project,
you're bound to encounter things you don't know yet,
and that's fantastic. Embrace those moments where you realize there's still
so much to learn. Acknowledge the areas where
your knowledge is limited and make a note of the topics you'd like
to explore further. This becomes your roadmap for continued growth and
learning as an artist. Remember, reflection isn't
about the final product. It's about documenting
the entire process, the ups, the downs, the triumphs, and struggles. Not only will it
help you celebrate your incredible achievement at the end of those hundred days, but it will also be an invaluable resource
next time you feel the creative urge and want to embark on a new
artistic journey.
26. Celebrate Your Wins Big and Small!: This whole experience has
been about exploration, about pushing
yourself creatively and seeing how far you can grow, and that my friends, is absolutely something
to be proud of. But sometimes we get so focused on the
finish line that we forget to acknowledge
the amazing things happening along the way. So, today's video is all
about celebrating your wins, both big and small. Don't wait until the
very end to celebrate. Every day, take a moment to
acknowledge your progress. Did you finally master that tricky technique
you've been working on? Did you overcome a creative
hurdle that had you stumped? Give yourself a high five. These small victories are stepping stones on
your path to success, and they deserve
to be celebrated. Speaking of celebrating,
have you ever thought about creating a
visual record of your project? Maybe a grid layout showcasing
all of your creations. Here's a fun idea. Why not set a mini celebration
every nine days. That way, you'll stay motivated and keep creating
content consistently, plus by day 100, you'll have a visually stunning collection of all your work, a beautiful rebinder
of your journey. It's a win win. Now, remember, there's no one size fits all
approach to celebrating. Find a rhythm that
works for you, whether it's daily
shoutouts to your progress, weekly reflections, or a
more spontaneous approach. The key is to have fun with it, and then of course, there's
the big day, day 100. You've officially completed your 100 day project,
and that's incredible. Here's your chance to go big or small with
your celebration. It's entirely up to you
throw a dance party, Indulge your favorite treat or plan a relaxing
weekend getaway. No matter what you choose, take a moment to acknowledge
this incredible achievement. Be proud of yourself and all
that you've accomplished. This 100 day journey has been about so much more than
just creating something. It's about growth, about stepping outside
your comfort zone, and about discovering new things about yourself. As an artist. So celebrate this
accomplishment. You deserve it. Don't be shy and
shout it out loud, or at least do a
little happy dance because you've done
something truly amazing.
27. Embrace Your Unique Twist! Originality is Overrated: Welcome back. A question that
might be nagging at you. What if someone else
has already done a 100 day project on a similar
theme? Here's the thing. That's totally okay, so
don't let that stop you. What's the secret weapon that you have that
no one else does? It's your unique perspective. Think about it this way. The core idea of a 100 day
project might sound familiar, but how you interpret it will be completely original. Why? Because everything you create is infused with your
unique personality, your experiences, and your
creative point of view. How does that translate
to your project? It means your path
and your process will be completely different
from anyone else's. Ditch the pressure to copy
or force originality. Focus on what truly excites
you in this project, and trust that your unique
voice will shine through. The result, a one of a kind project that
captures your magic. Remember, there's room for everyone in this creative world. Don't be afraid to experiment. Explore your own interests and let your personality
guide your journey. So embrace your unique twist. It's what will make
your 100 day project truly special. Okay.
28. Missed a Day No Sweat! Consistency is Key, But Kindness Too: You might be wondering, what happens if I miss a day? Life throws curveball
sometimes, and that's okay. Let's talk about how to deal with a missed
day like a pro. Maybe you got swamped at work or something unexpected came up. Remember, this is
100 day journey, not 100 day sprint. Missing a day here or there
won't derail your progress. What's the most important thing. Be kind to yourself.
Ditch the guilt trip. Think of it like a rest day for a cyclist in the tour de France, essential for recovery and
coming back even stronger. Now, let's talk solutions. You have two options. Catch up, dedicate
a little extra time tomorrow to catch
up on the miss day. This works well if you just
need a quick burst to get back on track or extend, feel free to extend your overall project
deadline by one day. This might be a better choice if you need a more
substantial break. Remember, consistency is
the key to making progress, but listen, even 5 minutes a
day is better than nothing. Short, regular bursts
of creativity are more effective than
occasional long stretches. However, if missed days
become a frequent occurrence, take a step back and re
evaluate your project. Is it taking too much time? Does it still fit your
current schedule? Sometimes, a small adjustment
to your plan can make a big difference in maintaining consistency. So
there you have it. Life happens, but remember, the goal is to make progress,
not achieve perfection. Be kind to yourself. Choose the itch up
strategy that works best for you and most
importantly, keep creating.
29. FORMAT FOR MY 100 DAY PROJECT: Here's a question
that might pop up. How exactly should I be
documenting my project. Documenting your 100 day project is a fantastic way to
track your progress. Capture your journey, and even reflect on your
artistic growth. It can be a valuable
personal record, and depending on how you
choose to document it, it could also be a way
to inspire others. The good news is there's no single right way to
document your project. The best format is the one that works best for you
and your project. Here are a few popular
options to consider. The sketchbook or journal. This classic choice offers a lot of flexibility
and accessibility. You can sketch,
write down ideas, and track your progress
all in one place. Plus, sometimes
putting a pen to paper can really help solidify
your thoughts and ideas. Digital journaling
apps. These days, there are tons of
fantastic apps available. They often offer a wide
range of tools and creative resources compared
to a traditional notebook. You can incorporate
sketches, photos, text, and even audio
recordings to create a truly dynamic record
of your project. Blogging or blogging. If you're comfortable sharing your project with
a larger audience, consider starting a blog or log. This is a great way to connect
with other creative minds, document your journey in detail, and potentially inspire
others who are embarking on a similar creative
endeavor. Social media. Social media platforms
like Instagram, Twitter, or even a dedicated project, Facebook group can be fantastic tools for
documenting your progress. Share snippets of your work, relevant hashtags and progress photos to keep your audience
engaged and motivated. Social media can be a great source for support
and accountability, which can be
especially helpful on those days when
inspiration feels a low. Ultimately, the best documentation
format is the best one that motivates you to keep creating and recording
your journey. Think about what
you enjoy using, how much time you
can realistically dedicate to documenting and how you like to share your project with the
world, if at all. So don't be afraid
to experiment. Maybe you find that you enjoy a combination of these formats. The most important thing is to choose a method
that keeps you excited and engaged with your project throughout
these 100 days.
30. Batching vs Daily Flow The Choice is Yours!: Today, we're diving into the
age old creative question, Batching versus daily flow. Should you crank out a
bunch of work in advance or stick to a steadily
daily routine. Let's talk batching first. This approach is all about striking while the
creative iron is hot. Feeling super inspired. Go ahead and knock out several
days worth of creations. This can be a great
way to maximize your productivity and capitalize on those bursts of inspiration. But here's the catch. Batching can feel a
little like stockpiling, which might leave you feeling creatively disconnected
from your project later. Remember, the beauty of the 100 day project lies in the daily process
and exploration. So how do you make
batching work for you? Here are some tips.
Strategic posting. Even when you're working ahead, try to stay engaged with
your project daily. Share your best work strategically
throughout the week, or consider posting teasers to keep your
audience interested. Daily touch points. Remember, even on off days when you're not
creating new pieces, there are still ways to
connect with your audience. Respond to comments,
answer questions, or share behind the scenes
glimpses into your process. Now, let's talk about
the daily flow approach. This method prioritizes
consistency. Even a short daily commitment
keeps your project fresh and helps you develop
the regular creative habit. The beauty here is that
showing up every day even for a little while can lead to unexpected inspiration
and breakthroughs. There's no wrong answer here. The best approach depends entirely on you and
your creative style. Maybe you thrive on
bursts of creativity or perhaps you find
inspiration in daily rituals. Experiment with both
methods and see what feels most natural and
productive for you.
31. Battling Boredom and Busting Through Blocks It Happens to the Best: Let's talk about
something that can happen even with the most
passionate creators, boredom and creative roadblocks. Hitting a wall is
totally normal, and it doesn't mean
you're failing. In fact, it can be a sign
that you're ready to push yourself and explore
new creative territory. Let's bust through those blocks and reignite your
creative spark. The power of perseverance. Sometimes, boredom can be a signal that you're about
to have a breakthrough. Believe it or not,
pushing through a doll patch can lead to
surprising discoveries. Stick with it and
see where it goes. You might surprise yourself
with what you create. Identify the culprit. But what if you're feeling
consistently bored? Take a step back and try to pinpoint the source
of your boredom. Is it a specific element of your project that's
become tedious? Maybe the daily routine
feels repetitive. Once you identify the culprit, you can address it and we'll talk about some solutions
in just a second. Embrace flexibility. Remember, this is your project. The rules are there to guide
you, not restrict you. If something feels stifling, don't be afraid to bend
the rules a little bit. Experiment with new techniques. Explore different
directions, and most importantly, have fun. Dickey here is to keep
moving forward even if it means deviating
from your original plan. Remember, the ultimate goals of this project are
exploration and enjoyment. Let go of the monotony
and embrace the journey.
32. Course Correction – It's Okay to Pivot But Reflect First: Let's discuss the question. What if I want to change my mind Mid project? You're not alone. Many people decide to
change Mid project. Take into account the following before making a
significant change though. Why the change? Give it some thought before rushing
into a new direction. Why is this change happening? Is it about learning more, becoming more creative or
rekindling your passion? Determining whether a course
correction is necessary will be made easier if you're
aware of your motivations. Weighing the pros and cons. Will there be advantages and disadvantages to
altering directions? Will taking a
different path result in a greater fulfillment, deeper understanding,
or more enjoyment? But what could you lose if you gave up on
your original plan? The power of pushing through. Sometimes discomfort can
be a catalyst for growth. Pushing through
challenges can lead to unexpected discoveries
and breakthroughs. However, if the struggle
feels insurmountable, a strategic pivot
might be the answer. The bottom line. Although change has the potential to
be a very useful tool, it must be deliberate. Will this new path
inspire you and be more creative and result in a
more fulfilling experience? Go ahead and do it if
the response is, yes. Recall that occasionally, the most exquisite things come from the most
surprising detours.
