1. Introduction to the Course: Hello and welcome to this course on creating presentations with Microsoft Sway. My name is fatigue proton and I am a professional general computing and distal design specialists who has been working in the industry for over a decade. In this course, I am going to demonstrate how we can create presentations by using Microsoft Suite, which is a free web-based application by Microsoft. I'm also going to share some do's and don'ts that I have learned as per my experience while creating presentations as well. We will start the course by preparing an outline for the presentation and then learn how we can utilize cards and add an elements in god's to prepare a presentation. We will then see the presenting options, the exporting options and sharing options as well, that you will enjoy learning this course with me. And I can't wait to see what you will come up with your own projects. 2. Outlining Information: Whenever you're trying to create a presentation, it's a good idea to make an outline of the contents that you're trying to present. In my case, I'm going to go around and make a presentation regarding the basic applications that many people use in Microsoft Office. So I'm just going to go around and type in Microsoft Office right yet. I'm not using any fancy tools right here. I'm just using Windows Notepad right here to outline my concept. Let me just go around and zoom this out a bit more right here. Let me just go around, zoom this in so that you can see it in detail. Or I can press Control plus to actually go around and increase the size effect right here in Notepad. So this is the topic that I'm going to go around and talk about Microsoft Office basic applications right here. So what I want to do is I want to talk about Microsoft Word, right? Yep. So Microsoft Word, and I'm going to go around and talk about Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel is another software and I'm going to talk about, and I'm going to go around and talk about Microsoft Power Point, try cactus like this. So this Microsoft Word is going to be, let me just press Tab and see, this is a word processor. So this, these are the keywords I want to include in the presentation that I'm going to make. And then I'm going to go around. It's for document formatting like yeah, just like this. So I'm going to go around over here and tell Microsoft Excel, add a spreadsheet program right here, this like this. And this is mainly going to be for, let's see, e.g. Let's sell data management and calculations right here. So these are the things that I'm going to mention in my presentation. Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation applications. So it's going to be, let's say, a presentation program right here. And let me just type in like capital just to keep it consistent. And over here I'm going to go around and see. This helps you to manage slides right here. So Microsoft PowerPoint is also a presentation application, right? Yeah, and Microsoft suite is also a presentation application, but Microsoft suite is more card-based and that is what we're going to learn in this very course, right here. We are going to take these outline right hip. So we're going to work around with these outline width right here in order to make a presentation in Microsoft Suite about them. So let me just go round and divide it, and this is what we have. So now let's get on into Microsoft suite and start managing our information properly. 3. Creating a new Sway Presentation: So now that we have our outline ready, Let's go around into Microsoft suite and start arranging the contents as per our outline. So to do that, let me just put the notepad that we have a side and you can see that this is the homepage of Microsoft Suite. So I am using the desktop version that you can download and install from the Microsoft Store. But if you were to use the web beds and then you would see the exact same interface as well. Over here. In order to start using Microsoft suite, you need to have a Microsoft account and you need to sign in with that account and make Microsoft account is free of cost. So over here you can see that I have already signed in. And over here to start creating a new suite, you can click on the news and create new button, right? Yeah. Besides that, there are different ways to create Microsoft suite presentations. So you can start from a document, meaning you can upload an existing, maybe a Word document that you may have and it'll create our presentation accordingly and make an outline accordingly from that document. Or you can use the stock from a topic option right here. So what you can do with this as you can just enter out the topic and it'll get out all of the contents from Wikipedia for you as an outline. And if you were to go round and click on Create New, then you just get a blank Sway and then you have to keep everything by yourself. In this course, we are going to focus on creating everything from scratch. So let's just go round and click on Create New right here. So once you do that, this is what you see. So everything seems blank right here. But this is where you will see your carbs and this is where we will outline out all of the things that we have planned for. Over here on the top we can see that this is the storyline view which is currently active, and that is where all of the cards will get collected. If we were to go around onto the design section, then this is where you see how your document actually looks like. If you were to go around over here on the top, there's like inset options and there's different undo redo and says options right here and InDesign, you can see, you can access our styles over here. And on the bottom you can see that you can access out the table of contents as well. So you can go round back onto three by going around onto three right here. And you can see all of the CBC that is this way is that you created over here. So let me just click on it to access the three that I created again. So once you go around over here, you can see that on the top, you see the play button which you can use to stop presenting, presenting the contents and sweet. And there are different sharing options and application options that you may want to change out according to how you like as well. So this is how you create a new suite. And then we have also explored out the interface a bit so that we can get familiar to it. So now we're going to go around onto the next video where we'll add in cards. And then man is out the text according to the outline that we have, right? Yeah. 4. Adding in Cards and Texts: Now let's start creating carbs. So as per our plan, Let's go around and type in the title of our Sway presentation right here as Microsoft Office basic application right here. So let me just go around and guide n basic, Microsoft Office basic application right here. Once we do that, we can go around and then press the plus button right here to add in new cards. So I'm going to go around and click on Insert Content button right here. And here you can see that we can set up different guidance of God's right yet, ranging from texts cards, media, carbs, group cards as you can. So just like this, let me just go around onto texts, god, right here and select our texts. And you can see that a new card has been created. So as per our plan again, let's just go round and type in Microsoft Word right here. Just like this, press the plus button and click on Text and then you can see another god gets created. So let's go around and type in Microsoft Excel right here, just like this, press the plus button and create a text again. And over here we're going to see Microsoft Power 0.5 kit. So you can see that we got three cards. Now, let's just press the plus button over here. And what we're going to do is add in another card. So let's say I wanted to add in something extra, like a conclusion right here. We're just going to do that right here. So for all of these cards, we can turn it into a title card as well, so that we can add in sub gods within them. So they'd become group cards. Then I'm going to go around on the heading for that one, as you can see right here. And you can see that all of the other cards are now a part of this mean card. So I'm just going to go around over here, turn this into a heading so that you can see that it actually separates it out. So press heading and conclusion as well. This is heading, right? Yep. So you can see that now we have four different cards that are not part of each other. So here I'm going to click on the Plus button so we can, let's say e.g. an image God right here. Let's say I want to add in an image right here. So that is something that we're going to discuss on later. But here, right now, let's just go ahead with the plan and type in the word processor right here, just like this, press the plus button again and select another image. And over here what I'm going to do is type in document formatting right here, just like this. So I'm just going to go round and type in document formatting. Once I do that, I can go around over here onto Microsoft Excel and click on the plus button, select our image right here and type in spreadsheet program right here. So spread sheet program just like this. So once I do that, I'm going to go round, press the plus button again. And then over here I'm going to type in so data management and calculations. So I'm just going to go round. And so data management and calculations right here. Once I do that, I'm going to go around onto PowerPoint, click on the plus button and select out them as again. Over here, I'm going to save presentation program over here as well. Press the plus button again and select out. Let's see another image right here. And then over here, I'm going to type in slides. So you can see that these are the, because that I have. And since each of the gods side heading D is ten into a group right here. So you can collapse all of them outright kit. So you can see that we have our outline ready right here. And if you were to go around onto the design section, we can see all of the information right here. So you can see that this is what you have. And if you were to click on this, you can see that the table of contents has been prepared right here, and we can work further on an ad and more inflammation. And that is how you can add in cards and text. And if you want to go around and genes out the formatting of the text, you can do that as well. So you can go round over here, emphasize it right here you can italicize that. You can add an a link to it and add in different things. You can see that we can go down typing further, you can emphasize it out. You can go around and italicize it, even add in bullet points right here, just like this. So let me just press Control Z because right now we are just working around with the outline. You can also add in numbers, as you can see right here. And you get a numbered list right here. So let me just press Control Z, right? Yeah, and everything becomes back to how it was. So that is how you can add in cards and texts. And now next we are going to learn how to add in multimedia elements like pictures and videos. 5. Adding in Pictures and Videos in Cards: So over here you can see that I have the cards ready. And now let's say I want to add in some multimedia elements. So let's say I want to add in a video which says what Office 365 is. So to do that, I'm going to go around and press the inset Content button right here. Once I do that over here, I can go to media and select video. For the video, I can go round and then upload a video content by going over here onto my device and by selecting a video from over here as well. But I'm not going to do that. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to go round onto YouTube right here. So once I do that, what I can do is type in, let's say e.g. Office 365 right here. Once I do that, what happens is that videos related to Office 365 pops up right here, just like this. And then what I can do is I can go round and this 2s out. Let's see a video of my choice, right? Yeah, so if I were to go round and click, I can simply click on add right here. And then you can see that there's a video attached in that particular card. If I were to go around onto the design section, then you can see that this is the video right here. And I can press the play button and it'll be interactive as well. So you can see that for the introduction, the video is that you can go around and seeing the size of the video by setting an emphasis level two big overhead as well. Once I do that, you can see that the size of the video changes as I change the size over here. Let me just go around and keep the videos small. And I'm just going to go around and say introduction right here to office 365, right? Yeah. So let's say that I want to give an introduction right here for an ad and video as a reference. So I can do this. Now for Microsoft Word, I'm going to go around and choose a background image. So for this, you can, again upload contents from your device are. But what I'm going to do is I'm going to go around and go for, let's see, Bing images, right yet over here, if you were to check in Creative Commons only, then it will only swap the images that are free to use. So this is a half and the feature right here. So I'm just going to go around and say Microsoft Word right here and let's see what I get, right? Yep. So once I go around and do that, you can see that this is what you have. So let me just go round and click on this right here, and click on Add. And then Microsoft Word image has been added right here. Let me just go around and do the same for Microsoft Excel. So I'm just going to go around and type in Excel right here. And then you can see that this image is here. Let me just go round and click on Add for PowerPoint. Let's do the same, right? Yeah, so I'm just going to go round and in PowerPoint and then you'll see relevant images right here. So let's just go around over here and you can see that it has setting for PowerPoint image right here. So let me just go around and use this right here is like this. So these are the images that has been used for different, different applications right here. Let me just go around over here. And for this one, let me just type in Word processor and let's see what actually pops up, right? Yeah. So you can see that this is what you have, but over here I'm just going to go around and type in document and let's see what we have right here. So this is what you have and you can see that this is the word processors. So let me just add in the Microsoft Word Window that I found over here. For this one, let me just go around and choose a document right here, just like this. Click on it and add it right there. Let me just go around over here onto spreadsheet program and C is spread seat like yet. And let's see what we get over here. So let's go searching around for a spreadsheet and you can see that this is what you have. But let me just go round and type in Microsoft Excel window and let's see what we get right here because we wanted to. So Microsoft Excel, right, kept it as setting up for Microsoft Excel window right here, this like this. And then there you go. You can see that this is Mike Microsoft Excel right here. Let me just go around into that and add it outright that for this one, let's go around and see a cell details right here, and let's see what we have right here. What we get is setting up for images, sell data, but I don't want that. So let me just go around and say a spread sheet itself and see what we get right here, spread sheet. So let me just go around and type that incorrectly, right? Yet sets for the image just like this. And you can see that this is why you have, let me just go around and click on Add kept. Similarly for the presentation program, I'm just going to go around and say PowerPoint window. So let's just go around and type that in over here. Let's see what we have. And you can see that this is a PowerPoint window right here, different options, but let me just go round and choose the one I like. So you can see that this is what you have, This is why they have. So let me just go around and add this in right here. So this is what you have and it says something is wrong, don't worry. So sometimes this happens when you lose out connection right here. So let me just go around back. So let's just go around back, right? Yeah. So usually when you lose out internet connection, then this is normal case. But nonetheless, you can see that I'm back in whom right here. And everything that we do is automatically saved. So it's not a problem right here. So you can see that this is what you have right yet. So this is my sways right here. Let me just go round and click and you can see that it opens up that C once more. And let's see how much actually has been saved. So you can see that everything has been saved except for this one right here. So let's just go around onto the presentation program, select out the Bing images right here. And if I were to go around in PowerPoint window right here, just like this, and press Enter. So once I do that, what happens is that Windows related to PowerPoint will pop up right here just like this. So let's just go around and choose the one we like. So this is the one right here. So let me just go around, click on it for the slide section. Let me just go round and type in slides and press Enter then let's see what we get, right? Yeah. So these are not the slides, right? Yes. I'm just going to go around and say presentation slides right here, just like this, press Enter, and then it will hopefully get the proper example. So you can see that this is what you have. So let me just go around and add the tin for the conclusion. Let's say I want to add in something as well. So I'm just going to go around and say office 365. So I'm just going to go around and type that in and let's see what we get right here. So you can see that this is what we have right here, is 365. So let me just use this Office icon right here. So you can see that we have images on each of these cards now, and then we have our cards ready. Let's see the design now and see how everything has been written. So you see the video on the top, then you can see microsoft word right here. Then you got wet processor document formatting. You can see that this is the title and these are the sub contents right here, just like this. And you can see that you can individually select and edit them as well. On the bottom you can see Microsoft Excel, and this is Excel screenshot right here, and sell data management. You've got PowerPoint right here. You got this and this, as you can see at the end, you got the conclusion. So you can see that we have our outline ready and it is already starting to look interesting. Now we're going to go round and further, man is out at these contents and also add in more contents over here. For our presentation that we have in Microsoft suite. 6. Adding Texts and Modifying Them: So now that we have our cards, Let's just go around and add in some texts in detail. So over here you can see that this is the title of our of our presentation right here, that is Microsoft Office basic application. And we got a related video. Lets us go around onto the Microsoft Word section right here, and lets us go around and add in some details right here for Microsoft Word itself. So I'm going to go around and add in some details regarding Microsoft Word. I'm going to go around and see microsoft word is a word processing application. Application that is part of Microsoft Office right here, just like this. So what I want to do is I'm going to go around and copy this right here, and start with the same sentence for Excel. So I'm going to press Control V right here. And instead of Microsoft Word, I'm going to go around and say Excel right here for this section. For the PowerPoint section, I'm just going to go around and paste this. And this is going to be power point right here. We can just take this around as you can see, this like this. So once this is done, I'm going to go around and see this application belongs to the word processor or maybe this up Microsoft Word. Let's say I'm just going to go around and say Microsoft Word is a type of word processing application right here. So we're going to go around and add in this detail over here just like this as well. So here you can see that there's a spelling error. So all again, all I need to do is right-click to see some submissions right here. But I'm just going to go around and type in Microsoft right here, just like this. Similarly, I'm going to have the same sense sentence structure over here on the Excel. And for Excel, I'm going to go around and say this is a spreadsheet application. So spread sheet right here, this like this. And I'm going to go around onto the PowerPoint section right here. And I'm going to see a PowerPoint right here is a type of presentation application. So I'm just going to go around and see presentation right around over here. You can see that this is what you have right here, just like this. And the details have been added in. But what I wanted to do is I want to highlight Microsoft Word. So I'm just going to go around and select it and then emphasize is that as you can see right here, similarly, we can italicize it or turn it into bullet list, as you can see right here, or adding numbers over here. But over here I'm just going to go round and see a highlight Microsoft Word right here. Just like this as well. I don't want to highlight anything else will be sharing this section. I'm going to highlight Microsoft Excel and over here let's us go around and highlight Microsoft PowerPoint by kit. So besides this, what I'm going to do is I'm going to write in the US is over here. Let's see. I wonder have bullet points in this section. And let's say Microsoft Word is for documentation, formatting for report writing right here, just like this. And I'm just going to go around and see, Let's see, rich text formatting by kit. So let's say these are the three points related to Microsoft Word. So I'm just going to go around and write that in right here. Let's see. I'm just going to go around and see features of features of a word processor, right? Kit features. So I'm just going to, features offer a word processor. So I'm just going to go round and see this. And this is what you have as you can see right here. And let's say I want to go round and then emphasize the word process as well. Let me just scroll around, press control C to copy it out right here and paste it in this section. So this is so that the management and calculations. So I'm just going to go around and see spread sheet application right here, this like this. So this is going to be spreadsheet application and this is what you have. So I'm just going to go around over here and select spreadsheet, right? Word processor is here as well. So from over here I'm going to go around and say data management, data management. And I'm just going to go around and say so data right here. And then I'm just going to go around and say calculations as well. The outgroup lesions, just like this. So you can see that fetus up a spreadsheet application is here as well. And then there's an extra space. Let me move that. I'm going to copy this out over here onto Microsoft PowerPoint and then paste this out over here as well. So let me just go back over here. I'm going to go around and see presentation applications. So because this is a presentation application, I'm going to go around and say slide, slide Strike here. And I'm going to go around and see presentation right here just like this. And I'm going to go around NC. Visual, visual elements right here, just like this. So here you can see that these are the information that I have right here. So now you can go around and C are in conclusion, let me just print, press Enter. And here you can see that another car actually pops up where I can add in the conclusion. So I'm going to go around and see Microsoft Office has the basic applications that are needed for word processing. And let's see spreads seed management presentation right here, just like that. So you can see that this is what you have right here. So I'm just going to go around and highlight Microsoft Word right here, just like this. So once this is done, if I were to go around onto the design section, you can see how this actually looks like yet. So you can see that over here, this is what you have. You got the details right here. You've got the details over here as well, fetus up a word processor and everything else. But you can see that the texts itself is a part of the picture and not the, not the main contents. So I don't want that. I actually want a separate content right yet. So I'm going to go around and remove this. Let me just add in a text card right hip. So sometimes that happens and you meet not actually adding the content on the right place. So you can just go around and cut it by pressing Control X and by pressing Control V right here. This is simply Microsoft Word, right, kids, and I'm just going to type that in as a caption. And I'm going to go around over here, cut it. Let me just drag this upward because I want it to appear right along the side of a bar point right here. But right now you can see that I actually pasted Microsoft Word right here, but I'm just going to go around and see power point because that is what it is right here. So let's just go around and do the same. So this is presentation application right here, this like this. And I'm going to go around and press the plus button, adding a text and paste it out right here, just like this. So this is what you have as you can see. And now let's just go around onto the design and see how that looks. Let's looks much more better. So here you can see that this is the Microsoft PowerPoint like cap, and then this is the presentation application. So you've got the picture right here with the caption and then you can see the details right hip. This is screwing around onto storyline and let's rinse out everything else over here. Let me just go around over here onto the Excel part, press the plus button, go around onto texts right here. Let me cut this, Microsoft Excel paste that right here. Let me just go around, cut this and press the plus button over here, and then select out the texts just like this as well. So once you go around, I'm just going to go around and really delete this right here. And over here, I'm going to go around and see spread sheet application right here, spreadsheet application. And let's just go around over here on the top. And let's us go around and see Microsoft Excel right here. This likeness. Just do the same over here on this section as well. So let's just go around and then adding more cards. So let me just go around and press the plus button, select the texts right here, go down onto Microsoft Word, paste this in. Now, erase this out tight in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Word. And let's just go around and cut this out as well. And let's say this is a word processor. Dislike this word processor and press the plus button text and then paste this out over here. So once this is done, let me just go round and delete it and move it. And this is what you have around onto the n. And here you can see it as in text format as well. Once this is done, let's us go around onto design and then this is what you have. So you've got the video right over here on the top, Microsoft Word and then you've got the Microsoft Word screenshot. What is Microsoft Word? Then you've got like an example features of a word processor. Then you got Excel right here. Then you've got this spreadsheet application features, PowerPoint, presentation application, fetus, and then the conclusion at the end, just like this as you can see. And that is how you can go around and add in and modify texts as well. And in later, later videos, we're going to learn more about how to be refined out our presentation that we have right here in Microsoft suite. 7. Managing Galleries: To make our presentation interesting, Let's also add a gallery with multiple pictures related to our topic right here. So to do that, I'm going to go around and add in the gallery, let's say just before the conclusion section right here. So I'm just going to go around over here onto the Microsoft PowerPoint section and click on it. And over here you can see plus button appears over here for inserting content. So if I were to go around and click right here, and let me just go around and add in a title right here. So I'm just going to go around and add in the headings, so a section is made. And over here, what I'm going to do is see this is a gallery right here, this like this. So once this is done, I'm going to go around and press the plus button right here. Once I do that over here, you can see that we can inset out groups of images in a stack or anything else yet. So I'm just going to go around and select, let's say a grid right here, just like this. So in the grid you can go around and Adam content by clicking. And you can even add index and images and even videos as you want. But in my case, I'm just going to go around and add an image right here. So I'm just going to go around and sits for Microsoft offers right here, this like this. And let's see what pops up. So let's say I'm going to round at this image, right yet. Let me just press the plus button and add in another image. And over here on this section, let me just go around and add in this image right here. I'm going to choose image again and let see on this section, I'm just going to go around and add in this screenshot plus the plus button. And I'm going to go around and say add in another section right here. And similarly, what I'm going to do is I'm going to go around and add in. Say this one right here. I'm going to click on Add, press the plus button and select image once more. Select this and click on Add button one small click on the image right here. You can see that I got multiple images over that. So once this is done, you can see that these are many different images. So let me just add this in over here as well. This is what you have. So now if I were to go around and press the Play button, then this is what you have as you can see, you got the video, then you got Microsoft Word and all of the descriptions right here. And if you were to go onto the end, then there you go. There's the gallery right here, and you can click on it. And this is very, very interactive as you can see, right yet, I can go around and click on it, click on individual pictures to view them over here just like this as well. So that is what you have right here. So I'm just going to go around and press escape to get out of the presentation mode right here. And then this is what you have. So this is the gallery, as you can see, just like this. This is a group and you can also go around and teens the group type right here by clicking on it. And if you want to turn it into a stack, you can do that as well. So let's see how that looks right here. So I'm just going to go round, scroll down until I get onto the particular gallery. And you can see that this is in the stack format now. So you can see that this is what you have. Let me just close this. You can click on it to move this gallery pictures one after another in a stack, right yet, which is the format. So let me just go around, press Escape. And then if you were to go around over here, you can still things this group to a, let's say e.g. in a type of a slide. So over here as well, so that the way of how the gallery is displayed genius outright yet. So now you can see that it is in this gallery format right here. And you can click on individual pictures over here interactively as well. So that is how it can work around with the Gallery option inside of Microsoft Sway as you can see, and then add in more contents as well. Next, we're going to take a look at how we can go around and teens out, God outlooks. 8. Changing Card Outlooks: So over here, I already have a bunch of cards for my presentation. And if I were to press the play button, then you can see like how it looks while you're presenting. So over here you can see that it says Microsoft Office basic applications and stop this video right here. But let's say I want the video to take more space in the view. In that case, I can go to Edit and go to the video card. And over here in the video card you can see the emphasis for this particular card, which is small, medium, large right here as you can see. So if I were to go around and click on the laws right here and press the Play button, then you can see that the video right here is much more larger, right? He has a slightest. If I were to go around and edit, then you can see that this is what you have as well. So you've got the Microsoft Word right here. And for the Microsoft Word, this is the title itself. So it cannot really go around and genes or the size of this, because it automatically covers the full length right here, just like this. But if you wanted to go around and teens out the amount of space that this particular card covers up, then you can make it more big as well by choosing this, press the Play button. And then what happens is that more biggest pieces cupboard right here, just like this. Let's see for the mean screenshot of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, I want bigger space, and for examples, the small spaces. Okay, so let me just go around and to edit. And over here, let me just increase the size of the font over here as well. Similarly, I'm going to go around onto the Excel part, emphasize this and teens the size of the texts, right, yet too big. And for the PowerPoint as well, I'm going to go round, make it big right here, and then I'm going to go around and emphasize this as well. So if I were to press the play button, then you can see the title right here on the top, just like this. And then if you were to go around down right here, and then this is what you have. And you can see the Microsoft Word right here. And then you see the Excel right here. Just like this, this is big, this is small n for the PowerPoint as well. You can see that the example is big and this is small right here, this like this. And then this is the overall presentation just like this. That is how you can go around and teens out the card outlooks according to how you want. You can go around over here and teens out different things. Also. When you're viewing out contents through mobile phone, then when you're viewing certain pictures, you might have different focus points right here. So when you click on focus point, you will see a preview of how this particular picture would look in different views right here. If you save the entire image is important, then this is how you would see it. But if we were to disable this, this is how you would see it right here. So let's say this particular area is important, then you can see that you can go around and click and emphasize that. And let's say I need this particular logo. What happens when everything is being rearranged in tablet and mobile view is you can see this. So you can see that this particular area is being covered up and this particular area is being covered up as well. And you can reset it to get the default is like this as well. I'm just going to go around and click around right around over here just like this. Let me just go around, click right around over here, like right around over here. And you can see that that particular area is being focused now on the desktop users like this. So you can do this for all of the images right here for Microsoft Excel as well. Lets us work around with the focus point and click around right around over here. So let's see, this is important section and ride around over here as well. This is the important section right here. So let me just click around over here and this is what you have. So let's just go around, click and drag this around over here. Once that is done, Let's scroll down. And then if I were to go around onto the PowerPoint section as well, so let's just go around over here. So you can see that the PowerPoint is right around over here. So let me just go to the focus point right here. And for the PowerPoint as well as let's say this is the focus point. And then this is important and this is what you have. If you were to close that, then that will be the area that is focused on. And that is how you can go around and teens up the card outlooks inside of Microsoft suite. 9. Changing Presentation Styles: So far, this is the presentation we have. And usually when you're making presentations, then you may want to teens the style of presentation as well. So if I were to go around and press the Play button, then you get this default view right here. You can see that there's weird right here, that sex cell. So this is more like a scroll presentation. So if I were to go around over here, then since we divided our sections right here in different topics, we can go around and select out, let's say PowerPoint. And then we go to that exact place. If we were to go around and click on Edit right here, and then this is what you have as you can see. And then if you want to, teens are designed, they can go around over here onto the Design tab as well. So once you go around over here, you can see that you can access something called styles. And this is where you can make your changes, e.g. right now the presentation is vertical and if you want to change it into a horizon to presentation, then simply click here. Then what happens is that There you go. Now it becomes a Horizons little presentation. And all of the contents right here are horizontally arranged. But if you want more like a traditional presentation, like something like what you would get on a PowerPoint slides. Then it can go around and twos slides as well. And you can see that now you get slides right here where information is a rinsed out in different slides as well. So this is what you have as well as you can see. So besides that, you can go around and teens out the team as well. So let's just go back onto the vertical style. And usually when you're presenting, depending on the content, you might want the content to be vertical or horizontal or slides. Let me just go around and select out different the vertical itself and apply different styles to it. So if I were to go around and click right here, and then this is what you have as you can see. So I clicked on this, so it turns the title into black and white right here. The same goes for the other topics as well. And you can see that the text has certain way, right? Yeah, they can go around over here just like this and select this out as well. If I were to go around over here and click then what you have is this, as you can see the slightest, so you have different fonts applied to it and so forth. You can go round over here and different texts, colors are applied and you can go around over here and different colors are applied, as you can see, this like this. So once this is done, you can go around onto the customized section. And in the customized section you can see that you can go around and genes animation emphasis right here. You can make it more intense or anything else. For animations, if you have them right here as well, you can work around with the text size that you have and you can go around emptying that out over here as well. Over here as well, we can see that there's like, let's say e.g. different color schemes based on the pictures as well. So you can select where and B's up. You get the color scheme on the basis of that. And you can select those out over here, just like this as well. So once you go round over here, this is what you have and let me disclose it. And then you can see that entirely new style has been applied on to this particular presentation. As you can see this like this. You can go round over here on the style right here, and then you can customize it further according to how you want. But lets us go around over here and apply this style right here. And let's see how this looks. Okay, this kinda looks in formal. So let me just go round and apply another style like this one. This is much more better what I like. And let's just go round over here and go four slides right here. And you can see on the slides this is how everything actually appears. If you want to randomize everything, that is you want to randomize the cells, then you can click on remix over here as well. And everything will be remixed right here, randomly. So random background will be chosen, random style will be chosen and so forth. And then you get the arrangement accordingly. Like you can go round onto the slide and you can see that this is what you have right here. Let's us go around onto play and you can see that this is how it looks right here. So you can see that the animations are applied over here as well. And this is, let's see, the slide-based presentation that it then returned right here. So you can go around onto vertical as well. And if I were to go around and press Play, then you can see that you can get a sliding way right here from one to the next right here, just like this, you get these sliding contents. So there's no there's no rule on what kind of presentations should be used or so forth. So it is all up to you. So whenever we are presenting, it's up to us and how we want to present the content. So deciding on whether vertical would be good at ducting would be good, our horizon would be good. It's totally up to us. Well, let me just go around and keep it vertical and have a bright background right here. Because this is more like a form of content. And I feel that white is much more of a suitable color for this. So this is what you have right here. And then now we are going to further explore out the presentation options as well, because we have already made our contents now. 10. Presenting Options: Now that we have our contents ready, it's time to present the contents to others. And if you want to go round and present the content, then it can go around onto the top where it says Play, right? Yeah. If you were to go around and click on the Play button, then this is what you see as you can see. So you see all of the contents right here. And you can go around and when you're presenting, you can use the scroll bar right here to present out the contents by stalling it out. But you can also do is you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard, press the Down button, and it goes on to next content, one-by-one, as you can see the slide, so that he can explain as the content actually appears right here. If you want to jump to a particular content, then you can click on the menu right here, this like this, and then access out a certain portion right here as well. Besides that, you can also go round over here and click on the three dots button to get more options. Or you can click on the gear icon to go around and access, let's say scarf horizon to version of the same presentation right from overhead as well. So you don't want to present it as a vertical slice. Then you can go around and ten and access the horizon to horizon to information arrangement according to how you want it just like this as you can see, and it can utilize the arrow cues in order to start presenting. Similarly, you can go around over here and then click on it to go around an axis or the contents as you can see the slightest as well. You can go onto the top and genes do, Let's see, slight version as well. So this is what you have and everything is much more dynamic as you can see right here. And it can go around, use the arrows right here. Or you can use the keyboard to go around and teens from one slide to the next slide this, apart from that, you can also go around over here and turn off. Let's see e.g. any animation. So you can go round over here. And if you don't want any animations, you can simply turn it off and none of the animations will be soon out. Right there. You can turn it off right here. And that is what you have as you can see. So that is how you can go around and then print out the contents in different ways. Regarding the animations, you don't have the option to turn it off for the slide version, but for the horizontal and vertical scrolling, there is an option to turn off the animation altogether. So that is how you can go around and present. And if you're done presenting, you can simply press the Escape key on your keyboard or use the option to get back onto the Edit Paste from over there as well. So that is how you can go around and then simply present out the content to your audience after you rinse the inflammation. That's like this. 11. Exporting and Sharing: So this is the presentation that we have right here. And now, if you want to go around and share out the presentation content with other people, then you can easily do that as well. So to do that, you need to go around and click on this Share button right here. By clicking on shared this three button right here. Once you do that, you can go around and then invite people to view or edit out this way, right? Yeah, let me just go around and create a view link. And you can see that you can copy this around. And then what other users will be able to do is from a browser, they'll be able to go around an axis, that particular Microsoft suite content. Thus by keeping in a URL, as you can see right here, Microsoft Sway is a web-based application and whatever you make is in HTML format so it can be accessed from any web browser. So that's something that is handy to have. You can also get the embed code so that it can embed out the code in your own website. And you also have more options right here. And you can reset the settings altogether so that the URL and everything is reset as well. So once you do that, Microsoft Sway actually restarts this like this, and then you have access to the continent been smart. So if I were to go around onto shared and it can also share the edit options right here so that the other people with the link will be able to edit as well. So that's one way to share out the content. And the other way is to export out the contents in different format. And then you can share it in not through email or you can make a printout and so forth. To access those options, you can click on the three dots button right here. And here you can see that print is an option. And this allows you to actually use your printer to print out the document. But here we can see export to PDF is an option. You can go round and export out a PDF version of your content right here. So once I go around and click, you can see that on my desktop, I can see this document right here. So you can see that the document is here. All of the contents has been reformatted by Microsoft Sway right here. So if I were to go round and open this out, then what happens is that I will be able to access it as a PDF document as you can see the slightest. So this is what you have and all of the contents right here is in a PDF format. Because I said it can go around over here and go to Export. And the other option that you can export, this is besides BDF is in Microsoft Word format, which is much more editable. And then you can edit it as a document with the contents that you made in Microsoft suite as well. So this is handy to have as well. So once I click on that, exports the sweet contents as a Word file, as you can see right here, six, exporting it. And you can go round and save it to your desktop, and this is what you have. So if I were to go around and click it open, set out with Microsoft Word, as you can see right here. And all of the contents that you have will be there. Dislike this. So let me just close this and open this up once more because there seems to be an error right here. So it didn't properly export. So sometimes you do have a problem. So I did have an Internet connection problems, so it was not able to export it properly. So this sometimes happen. I said this is a web-based application, so it doesn't need to be connected to the Internet for it to be functional. So let me just go to Export and click on read. And then I'm going to go around onto my desktop, save it out. And then it saves it out right here. So let me just go round and double-click and let's see if the content is there. It's still not there yet. So let me just go around and see if it is still. It says downloading fill right here, take the network connections like this. Let me just go around and try again. Share this out. Not share this, but export this. And we're going to wait for a while now, maybe I opened it before. It was able to be downloaded. So hopefully there's downloading now and then you don't get the error anymore. So this is a PDF file so we can go around and wait for a bit so that the air don't. So for the PDF, everything is good. So let's see for the weird now, let's just go round and open up the Word file right here. And there you go. You can see that the files are there now. So you can enable the editing right here and here you can see that it can go around and edit out the content right here. And all of the contents are there from Microsoft Sway dislike this. So that is how you can go around and then create out your presentations and then present it and even export it out in different formats so that you can share it with others after the presentation is over or even before the presentation. So that is how you can go around and start your project. And then adding cards and then add in pictures, work around with texts, work around with the presentation tools and everything, and Microsoft's say, and now by sharing this much, I'm sure that you are ready to start creating your own Microsoft suite presentations, and that is what we're going to do now. So you are going to do it. And in the next video we're going to talk about the project that you have to do in Microsoft Sway to fulfill the requirements of this particular course. 12. Project Description: We have now come to the end of the course, and now it is up to you to do your project. For your project, but you need to do is you need to take any topic of your choice. It doesn't matter what, but make sure that you create an outline of a node first. And once you create an outline, go around and create out a blank Sway. Be sure not to use the other options right here, like to start from a topic or from a document. But be sure to create everything from strata according to your outline and click on the Create New button over here on the homepage. Once you do that, line out all of your cards for the topic that you make, and then add in pictures. Be sure to add in pictures, and be sure to add in videos as well. So all of the components is necessary for the project. And then what you need to do is you need to export out the project in the format of Microsoft Word and PDF. And I would love to see how you come up with your presentation as well. So, so what you also need to do is create a shareable link for the project as well. So I'll be waiting to see what you come up with. Inside of Microsoft suite. 13. Goodbye: Congratulations, you have reached the end of the course and you have learned all of the things that you are required to know in order to start creating presentations with Microsoft Sway. So now it's your turn to start your projects. And I can't wait to see what you come up with. So go there and then start creating presentations and do be sure to share them out with me. And thank you very much for taking this course. So all the best for the projects that you do.
