1. Introduction to the Course: Well, hello there, and
welcome to creating lecture content for
students with ChaGPT. I'm so glad that you're here. If you're an educator, tutor, or content creator, you probably know how time consuming it can be to
build lesson plans, create presentations, and
design meaningful assignments. That's where this course
and chat GPT come in. In this class, I'll show you
how to use AI to streamline your content creation
process while still keeping your lessons engaging,
personalized and effective. We'll cover how to generate
lecture slides, notes, quizzes, grading rubrics,
and more step by step. By the end of this course, you'll walk away with a
complete lecture package built with the help of hat GPT, and ready to use it in your
classroom or online course. Let's dive in and
start transforming the way you create
educational content faster, smarter, and with
a lot less stress.
2. Understanding ChatGPT’s capabilities for education: Chat GPT is a generative AI, which has taken the
world by storm. And now you can use hatGPT
for a lot of things. And if you are a
teacher or a lecturer, you can actually utilize
hATGPT to create educational contents that you can utilize for your
classroom as well. So now, let's say, for example, I
have hATGPTR here. I'm on the homepage of it, so I went to openi.com. Once you go ahead and
go to the hATTPTp here, you can simply click on hatGPT. So once you do that,
you get onto the page of htGPTR so first of all, I'm actually going to
go ahead and sign up. So what you can actually
do is simply sign up using your email address or with your Google or Microsoft
account as you wish. Let me just go ahead and choose Google account in
my case and select out my email address related to Google right
here, just like this. And now I will have an account. So let me just go ahead and
type in my name right here, just like this and then type
in my date of birth as well, just like this and
click on Continue. So once I go ahead and do that, so you can see that
I'm pressing Continue, I have my account right here. So now let's say I want to
start creating contents. Let's say, for example, I want
to develop a content here. So let's say I have an outline of what I actually
want to teach. So let's say I have a span of ten weeks and I want to actually teach
these things right here. Uh, that is my module or subject is graphic design and I want to generate contents, and I don't have any material
spaces on the basis of it, that I only have the plan here. So now what I can simply do
is, let's say, for example, take this particular
topic t here and then start by
giving out a prom. So let's say, I'm going
to go around and say, I have a ten week
lesson plan to make for graphics graphics design
module for this year, our college level
students with this topic. With these topics,
so let's just go ahead and see this right here. And now I can simply
go ahead and see, make sure to make a lesson plan on the basis of 1 hour
lecture per week. One tutorial, one workshop
right here, just like this. So I'm following the lecture tutorial workshop
method right here and one weekly assignment.
Just like this. So I can give it the
details like this. So I'm mentioning ten weeks, and I'm mentioning one
lecture and one tutorial, one workshop right here. So 1 hour lecture per week, one tutorial of, let's
say, for example, for 2 hours and one workshop or maybe
tutorial for one hours and one workshop of 2 hours
and one weekly assignment. Are worth 3 hours
here just like this. So if I were to go
ahead and click on SN, let us see what we actually get. We actually get a graphic
design plan here. And on the basis of the
topic that I actually gave, I said in week one, I
can introduce graphics. So in lecture, overview
of graphic design history and career opportunities,
and in tutorial, we can explore different
graphic styles and movements, and in workshop, I can have hands
on instruction to graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. If I'm good with this, I can
simply keep it as it is, but I can go ahead
and let's see, for example, continue
with this as well. Let's say I want this
in table format, so I can simply
go ahead and see. Like, let's say, for example, this is what I have right
here. Now I can see. Now, give the same details
to me in table format, right here, just like this. So once you go
ahead and do that, it actually converts that
into a table format, right here for me easily. So on week one, I got my
lecture tutorial and workshop, I can see it in the same view, and you can see that
I have everything in structure along with
the assignment as well. So this is what you
can do and you can suggest our edits as well,
as you can see right here. You can adjust the
length and so forth. But we are going to cover
that up as we progress along. And this is one of
the capabilities of hatZPT for academic
content development. And we have started by
using a lesson plan. And as we actually
progress along the course, we're going to see various
features and then create different contents by using hATZPT for our entire lecture. Of course, you as a teacher, have to actually go ahead and add in things
and correct things, but hatGPT will make the overall content
development process much more easier to manage.
3. Identifying learning objectives and outcomes: So you can see that this is the lesson plan that
I have right here. So let us go ahead and then make further outlines on what
can be done with this. Let's say, for example,
I want to go ahead and then get some learning outcomes or learning obsitives of
this particular course. So I can simply go ahead and then give it a
prompt for that. So, let's say, for example, I'm going to go around and say, give me six learning objetives that is related to this course structure
right here just like this. So if I were to go
ahead and give that, you can see that now
it says here are six learning objectives align with the graphic design
course structure, understanding fundamental
graphic design principles, double up proficiency
in design software, master typography
and color theory, create professional branding
and logo, and so forth. So I can filter out the
ones that you don't want, or you can simply go ahead
and change this out. Say, for example, now
what I can also do is, let's say, for example, I
want to plan two assignments. So I'm just going to go
around and say, now, give me two brief
assignment descriptions for an assignment that I can give mid semester and one
assignment for the N, right here, it's like this. So if I were to go
ahead and do that, then what happens is
that it simply goes ahead and gives me a mid
semester assignment, and uh, let's say, for example, this assignment as well, a final assignment as
well as you can see. So overall, you can see
that it actually gave me an entire detail of this
particular subject, a graphic design subject, and a lesson plan that I can actually go ahead
and follow with detail. So now, with this, what you
can actually do is after you've identified the learning objetives
and the outcomes, you can go ahead and keep everything in a
document as you want. So now, what I'm going to do is open up we'd document
rot here, just like this. And now I'm simply going to go ahead and copy out the elements. So now what I'm going
to do is, let's say, for example, copy out
the learning outcome. So I'm just going to go ahead and let's say, for
example, graphic. I'm just going to say graphics. Ten weeks, ten weeks graphics design course,
just like this. So this is what I
have right here. And then, let me just
say graphic here, and then I'm going to go round over here and arrange its title. So now I have generated
whatever I want from Jad ZPD, so let's just add this in. Over here on the bottom, let me just go ahead and add in the learning outcomes
that I have right here. I do need to go ahead
and then ans out some of the things right here as I copy and paste these
things right here, and you can see that these
are the learning outcomes. So I'm just going to
go around and say learning objectives right
here, just like this. So this is what I
have right here. Let me just set it
out as heading two. So now, once I do that, I have the lesson
plan right here, just like this in
a tableF format. So let's just go ahead and
copy this out, as well. So now I'm going to go
ahead and let's say, for example, I'm
going to go ahead and say lesson plan, right here. In Microsoft Word document, and I'm going to go ahead and paste this out right
here, just like this. So this is in a tabular format, as you can see right here, which I can actually go
ahead and select and choose a particular table format
that I like right here. Just like this, you
can see that I can go ahead and select
different options. And just like this, you can see that it is in a table
format, just like this. Let me just go ahead
and press Enter. And the other thing that I actually generated
are the assignments. So the final assignment right here just like this and
mid semester assignment. So I'm just going to
go around over here, and I'm going to say assign. Let's say, for example, course assignments right
here, just like this. So let's just go ahead and then select this
out as heading two. And then around over here, I'm just going to
paste this out. You can see that I
don't really actually need to do anything
right here for this one. So you can see that I got
the learning objetives, so I got the lesson plan
as well, just like this, and I got the course
assignments as well, which I have arranged
out as I like. So further, you can go ahead and change around,
let's say, for example, different things like the
margins right here of the document and so forth
right here as you like. So you got the
learning objectives, as you can see right
here, just like this. Then you got the lesson plan right here for this
particular subject, and then you got the course
assignments as well. And this document has
been entirely generated, and this can be used as a teacher in order to go ahead and create out
further contents. And as we move ahead further, we're going to see how we can create out each
weekly contents and, um, use them for our
classes as well. So this is going to be very, very detailed as
we follow along, and this is just a
tip of the iceberg, and we're just
getting started now.
4. Generating Lecture Slides: So far, we have given a
course outline to Chat GPT, and then I went ahead and then generated out a
lesson plana here. And we actually went ahead and saved it as a Word document. So now let us go ahead
and start creating out the lecture slides or
generating lecture slides. So to do that, let me
just go ahead and close this close this word document. And I'm going to go ahead
and create a new chat. So now what I'm actually
going to do right here is you can actually also go ahead and
continue in the same chat. But over here, I'm going to
upload a file for reference, upload from computer, that is. So now I'm going
to go around onto this particular location where I actually have saved
my course content, my Word document, that is, I can simply go
ahead and open that out and then use this
document as a reference. So even if you have
not generated this, but you have this on your own, you can simply
upload it like this, as you can see right here
in Chat ZPT for reference. So now I'm going to
go around and say, Remember this lesson or weekly lesson plan for
graphics design course. So I can simply go
ahead and see that. Yeah. So once you go
ahead and do that, what happens is that
it'll actually go ahead and then we'll
save it as a reference. So it says the
memory is updated, and it says, Got it. Your ten week graphic
design course plan is safe. Let me know if you
need modification, additional resources or anything else to support your teaching. So now I actually want to
generate my lecture slides. So I'm going to go ahead and generate a lecture
slide for week one. So, let's say, I'm going
to go ahead and see based on the details in
the lesson plan, generate a lecture slide of about 30 slides by using
the six by seven roof. Make sure that make sure that the first slide is the
introduction slide. Second slide is the agendas. Then comes the main topics. And then finally, at
the end a summary slide and a Thank you slide.
So I'm just saying this. Based on the details
in the lesson plan, generate a Lexus slide of about 30 slides by using
a six by seven rule. Make sure that the first slide
is an introduction slide. So I'm just going to
go around and say, based on the details
on the lesson plan, generate Lexus slide of about 30 slides by using
six by seven rule. And I'm going to simply
add in make the slide four, make the slide. Four first week's
lecture, just like this. So I forgot to add that in. So let me just go ahead
and then say this. And based on it, let's
see what we get. So if I were to go ahead
and do that, it says, I'll create a PowerPoint
presentation for the first week's lecture
following the six by seven rule. So now you can actually see that it's actually
analyzing all of these document content here and is trying to
generate a slider here. It says, I'll generate a
PowerPoint file now, stay tuned. So you just need to go
ahead and wait for a while. So now it actually says the PowerPoint presentation for Week One lecture is ready, you can download it here,
and this is what you have. So I can actually go
ahead and click on it, and the file will be
downloaded just like this. So if I were to go
ahead and click on it, then what you have is you have the PowerPoint file right
here, just like this. And this is the graphic
designs introduction. So you can see that all of the file is actually
created right here. So it actually created
just 11 slides. So now I can go
ahead and correct. You just generated 11 slides. I said, create a total total. Of 30 slides right
here, just like this. So let's just go
ahead and then say, you just generate 11 slides. I said, create a total of 30
slides. So it says, got it. I'll expand the presentation to 30 slides while maintaining
the six by seven rule. So you need to go ahead and
wait for a while again. So at the first go, you might not get what you want, but as you go along, then you will get the details as you
want, as you can see. And you can easily see
that it actually gives you the presentation
slides just like this. So you just need to
wait for a while. And now you can see
that it actually generated now with
the 30 slides. So if I were to go ahead and click on Download right here, now it downloads this
particular slide out. And so if I were to go ahead
and open it in Power Point, then you can actually see that now this is what
you have right here, and it actually created
30 slides right here. So now what you can
do is, let's say, for example, further
change it out as you like. So over here, you
can see that it's using the four by three
aspect ratio of slide. So let's just go ahead
and change that out. So let me just go around onto
design and onto slide size, and I'm going to change it
to widescreen right here, so I got the widescreen slide. So now from over here, you can utilize something
called designer, which is another AI tool
in built onto PowerPoint. You can simply go ahead and
click a design that you like, and you can see that it
actually becomes graphical. So simply go ahead and click on it or click on this
and there you go. You immediately have
a slide right here, just like this as needed. So let's just go
ahead and choose an interesting one right
here, just like this. So let's just go
ahead and select out the one with the picture,
and that is what you have. So you got what is graphic design right here,
just like this. Let's just go ahead
and select it and continue this out with the
rest of the design as well. So let's just go ahead and
select this one right here. And let's just go ahead and select, let's
say, for example, this one right here or this one, just like this and
simply go ahead and continue selecting
out everything. So history of graphic
design right here. Then you got graphic design
in Egyptian times right here. So this is an outline that you can go ahead
and then change out. So similarly, what
happens is that this is actually an outline that is given to you by Cha
GPT that you can go ahead and turn it into an interesting slide
just like this. So all you need to do is simply go ahead and continue out. So there's the principle
of graphic design. Then there's typography
in graphic design. Let me just go ahead and select this slide for it and
then continue out. Simply click on this, and then I'm going to go ahead
and click on this one. Let's say, for example,
I'm going to on this one, and immediately, you can see that you got this
slide right here. Go to the designer section and then choose the
design that you like, and you got relevant image for it as well, just like this. And the slide looks interesting
over there as well. So let's just go ahead
and select out this one, graphic design right here. Then let's just go
around onto this one. So we're almost at the end now. So let's just go
ahead and select this Industries of graphic design right
here, just like this. So let's just go ahead
and select, let's say, for example, this one, and then I'm going to go
around over here again. And then select out, let's say, for example, this one,
graphic design software. Then there's design
essential tools right here, just like this. And if I were to go around
over here and trends, let's just go around
onto trends right here. Let's go for ethical
considerations right here, just like this. So almost at the end here, simply click and immediately, you can see that we got
the slides right here. So this one is miss so
let's just go around over here and then choose this out. Then I'm going to go around
onto the summary part. Finally at the and then
let's say, for example, select out this right here for the summary and
for the thank you note, let me just go ahead
and add this in. And immediately, you
can see that I got all of these designs right
here, just like this. So I got a slide ready, as you can see right here. So this is what you have,
and now, similarly, you can continue doing this with the rest of these slide
contents as well. So now you can simply
go ahead and say, because I already gave it the lesson plan with
each week's content, I can say, now similarly generate out these
slides for week two. Lecture content just like this. So if I were to actually
go ahead and do that, then what happens is that
it says I will generate a 30 slide PowerPoint
presentation for week two, and then we'll
simply go ahead and, let's say, for example, say, it'll cover up these
things, and it says, I'll generate and provide
PowerPoint file shortly. And this is how you can
entirely generate out your lecture slides so that you don't have to do
the scratch works, but just modify the
bits from your pot and generate out lecture slides for the entire content as
per the lesson plan. So we actually began this particular a journey of making all the
contents from topics, and you can see that
we have already generated this much
content by using TPT. And, and in the lessons that
we are going to follow, we're going to see
how we can generate our tutorial workshop and assignment descriptions
as we need as well.
5. Generating Tutorial, Workshop and Assignment Descriptions: So far, we have learned how to generate out lecture slides out of the contents
that we have. Yeah. So I have already
uploaded my course details, and based on it, I have
generated a few slides as well. So you can continue
doing the same thing for the rest of the
weeks as you like, and you'll have all the slides
for all the weeks ready. Apart from that, I also
have some tutorials, workshops and assignment
requirements. So you can also go ahead and easily
generate those as well. Let's say, for example,
for the tutorials, I'm just going to
go around and say, now for week one, end a one piece tutorial, tutorial worksheet that I can follow as a lecture
just like this. So if I were to go ahead
right here and then it says, I will generate a one pace tutorial worksheet
for one week, which actually has the lesson objective, key
discussion points, step by step tutorial
instructions, student activities, and
follow up question. If you want to be specific, then you can simply go ahead
and be specific, as well. But over here, you
can see that it started generating
everything on its own. So on week one, it actually gave me the
lesson objective here, the key discussion points, and the tutor steps as well. For example, introduction to graphic design styles and
researching design trends, creating moodboard, hands on activity that the students
can actually do and so forth. So now, as a teacher, you can actually go ahead and utilize this to actually get it out. So you can also get the
materials needed and so forth, as you can see here. So this is what you
have. So all you need to do right here is go
ahead and copy this. So let me just go
ahead and copy this. And then open up Microsoft Word and paste it out right here. If I want to change
the formatting, I can, but this is actually quite good, so I'm just going to
keep it as it is. So now what you can do is you can simply go ahead
and save this. So let's just go
around onto Browse. And then I'm just
going to go round onto my particular folder. Which is right here, and this is week one tutorial
workset, so that's fine. So let me just go ahead and
save that out right here. And the workseat has been saved. So similarly, now what
I also want to do is generate out
workshop, task here. So now I'm going to say
for the week one itself, generate a workshop
guideline that I can give to students with step by step instructions
right here, just like this. So let me just go
ahead and say step by steps instructions,
just like this. So if I were to go
ahead and do that now, now what happens is that it
generates another document, as you can see right
here, and this is creating a
moodboard right here. So now, for this,
this is the obsitive. And since we have a 2
hours workshop here, as per our initial planning, you got the workshop overview. You got the step by step
instructions right here. And then it actually also
devised the time out here. And these are the
evaluation criteria, and you get the
submissions over here as well and the materials
need as well. And these are the next steps
as you can see, as well. So let me just go ahead
and copy this as well. And over here in Microsoft Word, let me just go ahead and create a new blank document and then
paste this out right here. And you can see that
this is good enough. So if I want to
change the settings or the formatting, I can. So let's just go ahead and
then save this out, browse it, and then in my folder
itself right here, I'm simply going to
go ahead and save the Week one workshop
guideline as well. So that is what you have,
and you can go ahead and repeat out all of the things
right here just like this. So now over here,
if I were to go around over here in my
original lesson plan, you can see that I also have the mid semester
assignment right here, assignment one, two, and
then final assignment week. So let's say what I
want to do is I want to generate those
assignments as well. So I'm just going to
go around and say, now, so I can simply go back to this particular
planning as well. So now I can simply go ahead and then continue writing
a prompt right here. So now, generate a
detailed guideline. For students for, let's say, for example, I'm going to say assignment one right
here just like this. Assignment one, branding
logo and Design Week six, which includes the cover pes instructions
with module name, date, weights and deadline date, then followed by introduction
of the assignment, the main criterias and then materials to submit and method to submit
via Google Classroom, let's say, for example,
and then followed by the marking scheme breakdown in table format for the assignment right
here, just like this. So I'm being very
specific right here, and let me just
go ahead and send this right here, and
let's see what we have. So you can see that there's
the branding logo assignment, and there's the
cover paste right here with all of the details, and you can see that it actually
goes ahead and gives me some information that I
can add in myself as well. And now you can see that
this is the assignment one, branding and logo design. So now you have the introduction assignment criteria
and logo design, typography and
things right here, and even gives me the submission method with
all of the details here. And as I requested it, you can see that I get
the marking scheme as well in a table format, and I get the note
for it as well. So let's say, for example, I'm going to go ahead and
copy out all of these now. So let's just go ahead
and copy these out or let me just go ahead
and then copy this R here. And then what I can actually
do is go around onto Microsoft Word and paste this out right here,
just like this. So now this is the cover
piece, as you can see, so let me just go ahead and
then center align this. Let's say, for example, and
then I'm going to press Control Enter to move
this onto the next piece. You can go ahead and change
out the design as you like, as well. So this
is what you have. So let me just go ahead
back right here and then go around onto assignment one
and go to the next piece. So you can see that I got the assignment details
just like this. This is the table of the
marking scheme here. So let's just go ahead and fill it up right
here, just like this. And then this is what you have. So let's just go ahead
right here and fill it up. So let's just go ahead and then change around the border
style here, just like this. And this is the marking
scheme, as well. So let's just go ahead
and then let's say, for example, I left line
here, just like this as well. So this is what you have, and this is the assessment
guidelines. So let's just go ahead
and see this out as well. So let's just go ahead and save it onto my same folder again. So in this folder itself, I'm going to see assignment one right here, just like this. And then you got the assignment details just
like this, as you can see. So let me just also go ahead and generate out assignment two. So let's just go
ahead and do this. And now I'm simply going
to go ahead and copy this. Let's say, for example, and I'm going to go around and say, now, generate the assignment
description description in the same way for
and simply paste it, and I'm going to go
ahead and send that out. So now you can see
that it generated the same for assignment
two as well. So I'm just going to
go around over here and then quickly go
ahead and I'm going to go ahead and click on
New R here to generate out this particular document
here, just like this. So you can see that
all of it is actually being generated right
here, just like this. So the marking scheme is
there as well, and so forth. I'm just going to go ahead and repeat out the step for this. So let's just go ahead and
let's say, for example, let's just go ahead
and then copy this or let me just go ahead and
copy it by using that icon. And then I got this rot here. And now let's select
this and then go ahead and add in a border for the
marking scheme rot here, and then I'm going
to go ahead and press Control Enter to bring it into next space and then
save this document as well. So let's just go
ahead and browse, and then I'm going to save
it to the same folder. So in the same folder, I'm
just going to go ahead and then save it as
assignment two A here. Let me just go ahead and quickly create one for assignment
three, as well. So I have this plank
document track here. So now, let me just go ahead and close the assignment
two and close this out. And similarly, what
I'm going to do now is go for this
one, final assignment. Now I'm going to say
similarly create one, four, this as well, so at this point, Chat GPT always knows already knows that I actually wanted to create the
assignment details. So this is what you
have, as you can see. So this is assignment
number three with the assignment criteria
like portfolio. Our personal branding elements, personal presentation, and so forth, as you can
see right here. You got the cover pace
and everything and the submission method
over here as well, and you got the marking
scheme there as well, and you got the note as well. So now, let me just
go ahead and copy this like this this time again
and then paste this out. And then I'm going
to go around over here onto the final
assignment and press Enter. So this is what you
have, as you can see, and now I'm going to go
ahead over here onto the marking scheme area and
then add in this as well. So let's just go ahead and save this final assignment as well, right here onto the same folder. So over here, I'm
simply going to go ahead and then choose
Assignment three. And this is how you can go ahead and generate tutorial workshop and even assignment descriptions as you like using Chat CPT. And all of this till now, we have actually started generating by utilizing
this plan itself. And we are going to look at
further on how to create more materials and create our entire course
structure as well.
6. Using ChatGPT to draft comprehensive lecture notes with key points: So far, we have
generated out all of the materials that
is required for the class like lecture slides, tutorial details,
workshop details, and even assignment details. But what you can also do
is, let's say, for example, I've already actually gone ahead and then created out let's say, for example, the slides route here and the
worksheets and everything. So you can see that I got
the weekly design route here just like this
and everything here. So weekly design lesson
plan and so forth. So what I can actually also
do is or each of the lecture. Let's say, for example,
I can go ahead and then generate out comprehensive
lecture notes with key points as well. So for that, the prompt
is quite simple. So you can go ahead and
say something like now, generate a comprehensive
lecture note, along with key points mentioned at the end for
students for week one. So if I were to go ahead
and then send this, then what happens is that
it'll simply go ahead and create an lecture note
for me. Just like this. So it says, What
is graphic design? And then there's
the brief history. And then there's the role of
graphic design right here, career opportunities in
graphic design and so forth. So all of this has been easily
created just by one click. So you can see that it says
Y mood sports and so forth. And you got the key takeaways
right here as well. So all you need to do
now is simply copy it, and then you can
simply paste it in a Microsoft Word document as we have been
doing right here, and you can go ahead
and save this out. So let's just go ahead and
go around over here onto Browse and let's just go
around onto that folder. And then in here you can see
the week one lecture notes. So I don't actually need
to change the name, so I'm just going to go
ahead and click on Save. And then this is what you have. Similarly, you want to create
lecture notes of Week two, then you can simply
go ahead and say, let me just go ahead
and then copy this, paste this out right here, and simply type in or week two and then
hit the Send button. And what happens is that
week two lecture notes is now generated right here. So there's the introduction
to the design principle, the core principle of design contrast
alignment, repetition, proximity, white space,
and everything right here, which is generated just by
one messages like that. So I just need to wait
for this to finish. So meanwhile, I'm going
to go ahead right here on this particular Word document and then close this because
I already saved it. So simply go ahead and copy it and then paste
it out right here, and you got the lecture
notes for week two, as well. And that is how you
can utilize ChRGPT to draft and comprehensive
lecture notes with key points as well. And now we're going to
move further to know how we can generate out
more contents as needed.
7. Generating quizzes, MCQs, and open ended questions: So over here, you can see
that I have generated quite a lot of materials already for this
particular course content. But let's say what I actually
want to do is I want to actually test my students
as well on a weekly basis. So I want to generate quizzes
and maybe some fill in the blanks question
or maybe even short answer questions to
test their knowledge. So I'm going to go around onto Newhat for that now, and
then I'm going to say, based on week one content, uh, generate four MCQ questions. And let's say, for
example, four, fill in the blanks questions and two short answer questions. So let's just go ahead and type this in right
here just like this. So I can see that this
is what I have right here based on week one content generate four MCQ questions, four fill in the blanks and
two sort answer questions. So mind that this is a
new chat right here, and the thing about chat GPT is it remembers previous
chats, as well. So I'm just going to
go around and hit the Send button right
here for this right here. And now you can actually see
that this is what you have. So out of Week one, it
actually gave ahead and gave a multiple choice
question here, just like this. And you can see that it is based on graphic design itself, design principle, introduction
to graphic design. So from the previous chat, as I have not talked about
of anything else yet, it actually remembers
what the content is. So now you can simply go
ahead and generate out more questions as you like for the following weeks as well. So, let's say, for
example, I can say similarly give for
week Q as well. So I can simply
go ahead and type that in here, just like this. And then it'll go
ahead and give me the questions for
week two as well. So just need to
wait for a while, and then you can see
that I got week two. So now if I were
to go round onto the lesson plan here like this, you can see that this
is what you have. So now, if I were to
go around right here, you can see that this is
what you have right here. So you can see that I got like we have graphic design fundamentals
of graphic design. You got typography
and type here. So similarly, you
can see that all of the content here like this. Let's just go around over here
onto the new chat itself. So let's just go around
and refresh this out so that I have access to
this particular chat, and you can see that
this is what you have. So week two is not typography, it's still designed, but you can see that the
week one is okay. So you can simply go
ahead and then tell it to actually give the
proper content here. So when you actually
using the new chat, then what happens is that the result might not be perfect, but you can always go ahead, use the same chat or simply
go ahead and download the lesson plan and tell it to generate
questions accordingly. And this is how you
can actually go ahead and generate
out the questions. And now for this, I'm simply going to go
ahead onto, let's say, Microsoft Word and paste
out the condon right here, and this is what you have,
as you can see right here. So these are the documents. I'm simply going to go ahead and say week one questions
right here, just like this. And then I'm going to go
ahead and zip it out onto my folder right here. So
this is what you have. I got the folder,
Celestes go ahead and save it out as
we want questions, and this is what you
have, as you can see. And that is how you
can go ahead and generate out quizzes, MCQs, and even open ended questions or fill in the blanks as you want for
classroom materials.
8. Generating Grading Rubrics: So I have generated quite
a lot of things already, and then I also have generated some assignments here
as you can see here, the assignment
details and so forth, which has its own
marking criteria. Well, let's say now,
what I want to actually do is go ahead and then, let's say, for example, generate out a Rubic according to this
marking criteria that I have here and based on this assignment details
that I have made. So now to do that, I can simply go ahead and
upload out a filer here. So let's just go ahead
and upload it from my computer and then
from the folder itself, let me just upload
Assignment one. So what I can actually go
ahead and now see is based on this assignment description
and marking criterias, generate a marking rubric for each component and give it
to me in a table format. So now if I were to actually
go ahead and do that a here, it says, here is a detailed marking rubric
in a table format. And then you can see that
it actually took all of the marking criteria here like creativity and
originality and marks. And then you can see that based on the excellency at
here and so forth, you can see that it
actually went ahead and create created a
rubrics for it here. If you want more detail
type of rubrics, then you can see add in
ten level of criterias. In the rubric. So if I were to go ahead
and do that right here, then what happens
is that it actually goes ahead and then
increases the rubric, as you can see here, just like this, as you can see. So for outstanding for
creativity and originality, you can see it says
exceptionally original, highly innovative and visually striking here and so
forth, right here. And this is the marking rubric
that it has generated out. So now what you can
simply do is you can utilize this for
marking as necessary. And this is how you can go ahead and then utilize marking rubric. So now what you can simply do
is take this into something like Excel here just like this and then range it out
according to how you want. So let's just go ahead
and then go ahead, click and drag this out here and drag this out
right here as well. And you can see that this is the marking rubric that
I have right here, the criteria and everything, as you can see over here. So now what I'm also going to go ahead and do is, let's say, for example, go ahead and then work around with
the design as well. So this is what you have, and then you can see that
this is what you have, so you can go ahead and choose different options right here, add it in a table design
and so forth as well. So let's just go ahead and
insert out a table right here. Press Okay for this and choose
a table design for this, as you can see, right here, just like this, let's
just go ahead and select, let's say, for example, this or this one right here
according to how you want. And you got the rubric
right here, just like this. And this one right
here is, let's say, for example, assignment
one, right here. So now let's say I want the
same for assignment two, then I can simply go
ahead and upload out Assignment two from computer
right here, just like this. And then I can see
now similarly, make for this assignment
two, as well. So if I were to go
ahead and do that, then what happens is that
it'll read out the document. Again, right here, that is
the assignment to document, and then we'll generate out a rubric for it
accordingly as well. And then this is how you can simply go ahead
and generate out marking rubrics for all of
your assignments as needed. And then, of course,
you can modify it out as well as needed. So, furthermore, we're
going to see how we can create more assignments, um, assignment descriptions
and everything like academic contents needed
as we progress along. And so far, we have
created a lot of contents out of the initial list
of topics that we had.
9. Generating Interactive Quizzes: So we have generated up till
grading rubrics as well, and we have created many
things like vigils, quizzes, and then even
assignment details and so forth. Well, see, for
sometimes in class, I want to go ahead and then let students attempt an
interactive quiz as well that they can actually
go ahead and interact by actually selecting
the right option and is self graded. So now what I can
actually do for that is, let's say, for
example, say this. So I can see use STMO and
bootstrap, bootstrap, to boot strap to create
ten quiz questions, which is interactive
and self created based on week one content
that students can attempt, attempt and get instant score
based on their answers. Make answers. Make sure to use graphics well, to make it attractive and use icons where
possible, as well. So now I am saying based
on week one content, use SDM and bootstrap to create ten quiz questions that
the student can attempt. So if I were to actually go
ahead and send this out, then based on the Week
one content brought here, it actually goes and
generates out a code, as you can see there
just like that. So you can see that it goes
ahead and adds in quizzes with radio buttons here that students can actually go
ahead and answer out. So you can see that this is what you have,
as you can see, so I'm simply going to go ahead and let's
say, for example, click on preview, and then if
I were to go ahead and Low, you can see that this is the interactive
quiz that it has. So now you can see that this
is what is graphic design. So drawing cartoons and
let's say Microsoft Word, submit and it says score
zero out of ten, right. You can go for only
making logos or visual communication
here and submit quiz. Then what happens is that
it says the score is one. So now, which is widely used
graphic design software, so photoshop and, um, graph let's say,
Illustrator is it. So let's preview it and go ahead and choose the
correct answer now. And if I were to go
ahead and submit it, now you can see it says
the score is two and ten. So this is what you
can actually do. So now, if you want to actually distribute this out to
students right here, you can also say include
ten questions right here. Right now, it only has two. You can actually go
ahead and copy this out and then open up an
application like Notepad, paste out this code right here, and then save it out. Let me just go ahead,
save it onto the desktop. I'm going to choose
all files and type quiz dot SDMLR here. So once you go
ahead and do that, you can actually go
ahead and open up this SDMLFle here on web
browser, and then you get this. And now you can simply share
this out with the students, open it on the
students computers, and then let them choose
the right answer, submit the quiz, and this is what you
have as you can see. And that is how you can
go ahead and generate out interactive quizzes as you like using chat GPT for your
course contents as well.
10. Personalizing content for different learning styles: So we have generated out many different course
contents like lecture slides, tutorials and workshop
contents as needed. So what I can actually
also do is generate out different content styles for
different learners as well. So to do that, I'm going to
click on the Plus button and upload some file
from the computer here. So I'm just going
to go around and upload out the week one files, for example, right here, this by selecting them. I can see that these are
the week fine files. So I can simply go ahead and
type in a prompt like this, so I can these are the, are the week details for a graphic graphic
design course content for students to learn, generate 20 flash cards
in formation right here, just like this in a table
format of two columns. So now I'm simply
saying generate a flash card here for students to learn
based on the content, and then you can
see that this is the question front and answer back as you
can see right here. So this is something that I can use to generate out
flashcards right here. So now I can simply go
ahead and utilize this and save this information
as I like, as well. So apart from that, you
can also go ahead and say, now now also generate 20 key things to
remember for this week. So if I were to go
ahead and do that, let me just say key things
right here, just like this. And now it'll go ahead and
generate out the list, as you can see, right
here, just like this. So apart from that,
you can also go ahead and generate it out
as a story as well. So now you can say now generate the content content
as a story of about four or maybe
two paragraphs that I can tell to help students understand
the content here. So you can see that I
can go ahead and get it on graphic design
story as well. So there may be different types of learners right
here just like this, and you can go ahead
and get FAS cards, points to remember right here, and even a story as you
can see right here. Apart from that, let's
say, for example, I want the course
to be a narration. So let's say, for example, it's for more auditory learning. So I can say
something like, now, generate the content as a four paragraph
podcast for students. To learn from here,
just like this. So now you can see that this is the Bosque podcast
episode, here, just like this, and
you can see that it actually goes ahead
and adds in a script. It gives me a script on how
everything can be arranged. So now what I can simply
do is I can open up Microsoft Word and copy all
of these and save it out. And that is what I'm
exactly going to do. So I can go ahead and
generate out notes in different ways as you can see and learning contents
in different ways. So students from
different backgrounds can learn it in different ways. So for that now, I'm going to go ahead and save
out the contents. So let's just go
ahead right here and then copy this information
out just like this. So let's just go ahead and
copy this information. And then around in
Microsoft Word, let's just go ahead and
paste it out right here. So this is what you have
right here, just like this, and I'm going to go
ahead on let's say, for example, right here, let's just go ahead
and select it. And on the table layout
right here just like this. Let's just go ahead and
select out everything. Right here. So let's
select these up first. So let's go ahead
and select these. And in the table layout, I'm going to go ahead
onto table design. Let's say, for example,
and choose this. And this is what you
have, as you can see, and in a table format. So I'm just going to go
ahead and delete this, and I'm simply typing this as plascards information
here, just like this. So let's just go ahead and I can go ahead and then create
this out right here. Apart from that, let me just go ahead and add in
other information. So let's go to the
other pase right here. And these are the main points. So let's just go ahead
and copy this right here, and then I'm going to go
ahead and paste this out. So let's just go
around over here, and here are the key ten things to remember for your
graphic designing course. So let's just go ahead onto a new pase right
here, just like this, and I'm going to
go ahead and copy this out as well, right here. And then I'm going
to go ahead and then pate this out right
here, just like this. And this is what you have, as you can see right here. So if I were to go around
over here onto let's say, for example, right here, so let's just go ahead
onto the homepage here. Let's just set it out as a
heading right here like this. So now, once that is done, this is the podcast script. So let's just go ahead and
copy this out right here, and then I'm going to go ahead and paste this out right here. And this is what you
have, as you can see, you got the podcasts as well so that you can turn it
into the podcast as well. You can also go ahead
and utilize text to audio generation right here to generate these kind
of contents as well. So you can go ahead
and let's say, for example, save
it out right here. So I'm just going to
go ahead and save it out onto the same folder, and over here, what you
can do is, let's say, for example, save it
out as, let's say, for example, learning
materials right here, just like this for different
learning styles right here. So now, once you go ahead
and do that right here, just like this, this
is for week one, and you can go ahead
and create out more for other weeks
as well to help students understand and get the learning contents in
different ways as they like. So as we go ahead and do that, we have created major
materials for our course, and we're also going to now
go for a final touch up for our generated content on
how to fact checked it in the next selecson and then we're going to wrap
up the course. And then what happens
is that you can create your own
content as you like. So this is what you have,
and now let's go ahead and learn how to fact check your
content that is generated.
11. Fact checking AI generated content: So we have actually generated
quite a lot of contents, and then whenever you
generate out contents, you still need to verify whether the contents
are legd or not. So one way is you can use your
own knowledge, of course, but for more foolproof checking, you can actually use
the power of a website. Uh, so that it
actually shows you the related contents for
those particular points. So for example, over here, you can see that there's
the 20 key points from this week's
graphic design course. And if you want to go
ahead and verify this, let me just go around and
create a new chat for this. I'm going to enable search
for web here, just like this, and I'm going to
go ahead and paste out this particular
content here. And I'm going to go ahead
and say, for each line, search for a valid source and reference and
relevant reference. And then give me links to it. If you don't find links, bowl and say no relevant links. So you can simply go
ahead and type this in so that it
validates out here. So you're actually getting two responses that
you can see here, which is giving feedback
on the new versions. So you simply need to
go ahead and wait for a while so that it actually
finishes giving the response. So you can see that this is
what you have right here, so you the response
one and two, as well, and you can see the sources around over here just
like this as well. So if I were to go
around and let's say, for example, go round over here, you can see the source
right here just like this, as you can see right here on where it found out the content. And here you can see that there are the sources right here. Now if I were to go ahead
and let's say for example, click, you can see the relevant
sources around over here. Let's say I prefer
this response, and this is what you have. So now you can see that there's
this source right here, the impact of graphic design, this source is here,
this source is there, but this particular
source is not found. So you can see that
as I hover over, you can see that the
relevant source is there. So you can go ahead and
let's say for example, click right here
to actually check out the particular
source right here. But for those who
you don't find, you can go ahead and
search for yourself because the information
may not be reliable. So not all of the contents
you generate using Chat ZPT are very authentic. So it may not be based on
certain facts sometimes, but most of it right now
is actually quite good. So this is how you
can simply go ahead and fact check AI
generated content to quickly ensure that the materials
that you have generated and you are delivering to
students is actually legit. And so, by this, we have completed the
overall course on how to actually utilize CHAZPT to
generate academic context. And now it's your
turn to actually go ahead and create the content
and share it with me.
12. Now its your turn: So over the course, we have generated many
different contents here, as you can see here. We have generated out
the overall lesson plan, and then we also went ahead and created out
the course detail first. So if I were to go
ahead and open up, you can see that we started by creating out this course detail here with all of the details like assignment
details and so forth, as you can see a
apart from that, we also went ahead and then created out
lecture contents and even utilize Power Points AI to actually go ahead and generate
out graphics as well. So you can see that for
Ease of the week now, we have our details
and lecture slides. Apart from that, we
also went ahead and created lecture notes for
Ease of the lecture week, and we also went ahead and
created out questions, different types of
questions like MCQ, fill in the blanks and then
short answer questions. We also created tutorial
worksheets right here so that we can make the
students do things practically, and we also generated out workshop guidelines
as needed, as well. So we did this for
all of the weeks, and apart from this, we also went ahead and then
generated out materials like resources like fascads for different learning
styles as well. So we did this for week
one, as you can see here. So now, apart from that, we also went ahead and then created out the
course workflow here. So the course workflow
that we have right here, is in graphical format as well, and we learn how to actually
go ahead and generate this type of graphical work as well so that we can
hand out to students. So apart from that, we also went ahead and then created out individual
assignments as well. So you can see that
we entered out the details along with
the marking scheme here. And for the marking scheme, as well, we created
marking rubrics as well. So we went ahead
and created all of these contents here
just by using Chat TPT. So now it's time for you to
come up with an outline for a course of your choice and then generate out all of
the contents as well. I can't wait to see what kind
of plans you come up with. So utilize whatever you have learned throughout this
course and generate out academic course contents
for the course that you are going to deliver to your
students, all the best for it.
