About This Class

Hi and welome to my second Skillshareclass,

I just love to draw in procreate, but I also love the authentic look of a real watercolor. So why not combine those two? In this class I will teach you my way of creating a realistic painterly watercolorlook and feel just without the mess of a lot of ink, brushes and paper...

I will provide a special watercolorcanvas which is realy important to get a realistic and non digital feel and also I share a very small brushset and a limoncello colorswatch. You’ll be needing no more than that to start with. You can find them in the class project section. Make sure you are in your browser to download them and not in the skillshare app.

1. Intro: - Hi there. And welcome to my new limoncello fun class. In this close, I will be shown you how I make my limoncello bottle. I got a lot of questions for doing. Ah, tutorial on this one. So I thought I Why don't I just make a skill share close out of it in this class? I will be shown you my way off painting this nice bottle. It's in a very loose and painterly style. I love its color bleed and the blending off the colors. And you can also see some water drop. Some highlight does some splashes. It's drawing, which isn't too precise. And that's what I like about it. And, um, it was very hard for me because I always waas a perfectionism kind of girl and everything has to be very good. And this is just fun. I can create a whole bottle like you see it here in just about 15 minutes, right? 15 minutes right now. And, uh, I'm actually draw in front of the TV, so it's just a little bit like loose handed coloring. I think everybody can do this, but you don't get this exactly the same result as I have here because the brushes are very different in behaving each time and also your club. The color blending is also very different in this piece are taking you step by step out of really highlights how to doder the color drops and how to do different things Step by step and I also after this close I will be teaching you how to create this lemon you see right here and I don't do that step by step, but very slowly you can draw along with me and if it goes too fast, you can always put me on hold for a second just to make me shut up. And I also going to teach you is lemon slice and it's also fair refund. It's very easy to do in just adjustable a steps for anyone anyone anyone can draw along with this one. I think, um, in this class, I will also bring providing you some ah nuke pencil set Russia Brush it and I will be showing you how to important, uh, in the next chapter. So I hope you like this close and let's get started 2. Importing canvas, colorswatch and brushset: So, as I mentioned before in this class, I will be providing a watercolor campus limoncello color swatch toe. Use exactly the same college as I did and also my limoncello brush. It's You can only get them by going into your browser and then go to re skill share closing in the projects and resource is you can find the watercolor comforts and, uh, limoncello color Swatch and the limoncello brushes, and I will now be shown you how to get him into procreate. It's very easy. Just click on the canvas. It will go to your drop or glink, and here it will import it, and it's will say it's not available. But don't bother. Just go through this readouts interrupted right corner and click to, uh, export an expert copy to procreate. Then it will be importing right away. And always you can find your new imported to pro creates confesses in the upper left corner of your own calorie. So always look in the top left corner and, ah, for, uh, brush sets. I will be going to my browser again. Oh, for let's go to the color Swatch. Make it clean. Call a switch course which works the same way. Don't bother about this one. Just go to the upper right corner. She was export Jews copy to procreate. It was important. And it will be important in your color ballots watches. So go to your pellets, Anjali Marcello will show all the way at the bottom. There you can find it. Just click default. And I always work with my disk. So I click on my disk and now you have it available. Oh, just one tick off your pencil and also going to import your color. If your water cooler brush it just by clicking it again, it also will import truth This one again. Jews export copy to procreate. It will be imported right away and you can find it in your brush sets. And now you're seeing a lot off them because it will always show up at the top off your brush. It's And uh, that's how you get all your brushes 3. Explaining and demonstration of the brushes: I will take you step by step through each of my brush. Now choosing black and go to my layers to creates a white Uh, the 1st 1 is not so heart. It's your, uh, sketching pencil out of pro creates. Go to Nobel Layer just to be sketching and drawing very quick and very easy, not very different. You can find it in your own procreate because it's a default brush. Here, you can get my messy brush been. Ah, I like to, ah, brush letter lots. It's a brush Ben I created with a little bleed because otherwise I think it will be to digital, and I don't like it to be digital. I want to have a little bit messy line. That's why it's called a brush. Messy brush man. I don't go into deep on the working off brush lettering, but I will show you what it does, and you can use it to your liking. The main item off brush lettering is that you can. It's pressure sensitive to hardly a push. The secret of stroke will be, and you can always use it for the down stroke to be thicker and obstruct to be thinner. So you pushed out for sick down stroke and you lift it for a thinner upstroke on. As you can see by just adjusting my pressure on the Bensel, it's how I apply my different strokes and I'm making a little bit down you. If you are already know how to brush letter, you will work fine. You can make your adjustments when you think it's too reactive to your hand. You can make your adjustments with the wrench to, uh, preferences, I guess. Yes. And your pressure curve. Uh, here I will show you mine. See, it's very sensitive, but when you make it just like a little s form, it will be less sensitive. So perhaps that's better. One for you, but that this for each of your liking. Don't worry. Uh, going don't go into deep. So when you make a so small upstroke is lift and Bush lived on Bush, lift Bush. That's how you do your brush lettering. So for Evans, when you go limoncello, I will write it once for you here. Bush lift Bush Push lifts, push left push And that's how you work. Lift Bush lift Bush. Bush lifts Bush Lift Bush lift, creating a little dot So that's how I read my little cello. I do. So bounty lettering. That's what I like the most. But you can also use it with the ah, other letters like, um, that's clear. Is so make a little bit bigger than you can write in your How do you call it? A block letter we call a block. Letters kept put capital. So, uh, push lived push, push lived foolish lift. I'm a girl, right? Always right. Love, lift, Push lift So you can make your own lettuce what you like, But you can use the different pressures for the different brushes, so that's a little bit about that brush. Uh, it's cleared it out again. Uh, the next brush. That's one of my favorites. I created the doctor for a brush from procreate with made a little bit off adjustment to it . It's too, is yellow because we're going to use it in yellow. It's a brush, which is not very precise, and that's what I like about it most so you can create creates unexpected movements in your strokes. So when you put the house stroke, you see it will automatically have blending and bleeding, and also you can see a little bit color differences a little bit darker and lighter. That's what I like about it and when you could go over it again with a little more pressure , you can get to pull way out of the color so it get a lighter buried in the middle, but not too harsh. I just want to have a little bit blobby, so that's what I like about this brush. You can also use it for blending. Hold it and just stepping, endeavoring and when you have a larger pie off it, make it larger. You can also create lovely Ah, what the dots and when you do that also with your much too, you can create fine water splashes and and fun around your bottles. And if the finger were quickly, so make it liquid and the next one. Some of you already noted for my former class is the watercolor scribble brush. It's ah, mostly what I used to fill in a huge amount of colors, although I will use the liner brush as well for using colors and also fun. First matching. It's a slightly softer watercolor brush you can use it bigger and smaller, and the less you push the slide, the lighter color will be. And when you push a little bit harder, it will get blobby are explosive and a much darker, and also, when you get over it, it melts. It's has a multiply function, so you get darker colors in it, just like with re watercolors, I think. And that's what I like about this brush. And mostly I used them the same. So I used the liner brush for the outline and a little bit insight and then ask rubbish. I go back and forward to these two brushes, and this one is also ready. Really fun for blending. So choose the brush. Hold it there, and it will ultimately change to your matching toe like a little bit bigger and the sleight of your bush too soft blending. And when you push a little harder, you get harder blending. But I think it blends really nicely into your paper and stand. We have some. It's clearly us again. Then we have some water color dots. The water color dots are a little bit o bake, so when you push them there appear in different sizes and have little bit off water in them . So it's less opaque and, uh, find outs. There are more opaque. You can choose with different sizes. And there you see, it's a job, a class player. So these are my brushes. I hope you like them and have fun would have played around. Make them feel your own, and you can adjust them to your own liking if you would like so and please, also with this, you can use your pressure sensitive to adjust them to your liking, so have fun with it. 4. Sketching the Bottle: So we're going to start with sketch off the bottom. You can use any sketching pencil you like. I used to six b pencil by using a black color and because of bottle is somewhat symmetrical . I'm going to use my symmetry drawing guide. I go to my canvas. I choose drawing guides. I had it drawing guides and juice symmetry. If you want to really thick line or any color, you can change it. Here. Uh, for me, this is okay, so I choose Done. And now I have to perfect lying in the middle off my canvas so I can start draw a bottle. You can draw any shape you like. Sometimes limoncello comes in in a very variety of bottles and I'm going to choose just a simple one for now because I'm only going to use your your techniques and you can do what I did. Anything you like with it. Eso I'm going to drop assisting layer just a little bit off top side of the bottle, going down a bit. I think I went too big already, but I couldn't always change it. Just a quick sketch and make sure that you the arrow that you have here that the bending off line is approximately the same as on the bottom on why she bought was going to look really weird. I think this one is too high. I can simply adjust it by choosing liquefy bush. See how big it ISS come back bitter. A bigger I'm going to push. See what I did to back off. We should a little bit down. No, I think I've quite a nice bottle. That's all for the sketch. I'm not going to use the symmetry again, so I'm going to get rid of it. And also that read off the assisting layer because sometimes it will remember your assist. 5. Coloring the Bottle: So when we have a sketch layer, we go to the next layer. Um, before I do that, I'm make this multiply lower its opacity so it doesn't get in my way my fishin create new layer and put it on the names My sketch layer I will always have on top And sometimes I'm getting rid of it temporary, making it not feasible by clicking the little square down here. So I'm directly going to do my watercolor and for debts, I choose my lemon very bright, so yellow color. And I'm going to use the watercolor liner brush on its very faintly brush. And this is all about a sketchy way off doing your watercolor. So I'm very painterly, sketch away, and that's why I chose it. One. It's a little bit. How do you say it, uh, choose its own way. So whatever happens, happens and let it happen. This perfect cloths for everybody with o City, or have some perfectionism in them. I also had that I came from cake decorating and everything. Everything must have been splendid and no little wrinkle, but this is so much fun. It's much loser way off off drawing so take this brush. I'm on a new layer below the sketch, and I'm going to just feeling almost everything on the bottle and you can see when you go over it, you get a little bit blurry lines in it and very different variation of color, but only do the outside with his brush in a little bit on the inside later on. You see, it's not very not perfectly. It's very weird, actually, in someone Where's a little bit of perfectionism in them, like me? I always used to have. It's very hard to do this, but it's so much fun when you're getting used to this because it is very quick way off, drawing and sketching. So I make the brush a little bigger. It was on 4% and now choose little nine color a bit. In also the bottleneck. No problem. You see, when I got over, it gets different, kind off blurry edges. That's fun about this brush. It looks like it's going to push away Ole the watercolor. So that's thumb. I live in little rights every now and then, and then I go to my, uh, I wasn't it. Same coloring precious. I'm going to my watercolor scribble brush That's brush a youth for painting, but also very like nice for smudging a little bit smaller. Yeah, and I'm going to give it a little smooch here and then don't bother. If there's something that's not colored in there, that's just the way I like it. And we're going to do that on the purpose later on. If you go outside lines, no harm done, it makes it look look more vibrant anyway. So just stepped on depth because then you also get lots off fun splashes around your bottle . That's what I like for this one. Now I have a little bit off open gaps here, and sometimes I make them all the purpose on a different layer. Sorry for choosing White, but not when I have them. Just let it happen. It's very fun to do this this way. Um, my son is always coming from the upper right side. So Macheda's must be on the lower, um in the lower left side operate site that the sun is from the upper right side and my shed of are coming from the, uh, lower left site. So you have to think very hard for English. Um, I can do that. We're adding a darker color, but I can also use something different. And for that I'm going to my selection toe. I choose Freehand and I take all the left side off the bottle, and I'm going to do it like this. Just a little bit. Not straight line, but just a little wrinkled lying. I choose further a few percentage knots so much, ma. 39 of 13% percentage. Right now. And with this selection on, I'm going to my you saturation and brightness. And I'm going to lower down the brightness just a little bit from 50 to 48 to see what it does. This was 50 this 48. 49. Okay, just a little bit. 48. Yeah, I like it like this. And from there, um, I'm going too much. A little green, and it also that's what I like. Just little color variation. Maybe I should have done it before, but no harm done. I can always go back. Or I could do it again. Ah, taking on my watercolor scribble brush again. A bigger one blending some green. That's much it with the same brush again. And if you think it's too green or too dark, just get a little bit off yellow script Jello back into your green. Just make it a happy little bottle off lovely limoncello. And because the bottle is not all the way up yellow, uh, till the top of the bottle, you have a glass glass see through at Bottleneck called the Bottleneck. I don't know. It sounds familiar to me, but we gotta take selection tool again. I select freehand and make sure my arrow down here is the same arrow on bended lying that I have around here. That's why using muskets so far, we're going to select and use my fitter. Yeah, just a few percentage eight will be enough, just so you get a little bit blurred line and then I'm going to find my you saturation and brightness. Ah, the the glass off the bottle is always a little bit bluish gray age, and I like a little bit greenish in. It's also so I'm going to put my US saturation a little bit of right. It's green, and now it's coming to now it's getting forward to coloring blue and somewhere between the blue and green, That's where, like a little bit of greenish a little bit of bluish, but maybe a little bit more. For me, it's about 78% right now. And then I'm going to turn out my saturation because it has to be a little bit great. But I still want to see a little bit blue and a little bit green in it. So this is night about 9%. And I'm going to play with the brightness because now it's too dark and go. Yeah, now I think it's too bright and too Blewitt show. I'm going to look for my situation and I get guess now it's going to look a little bit like a glass. More brightness. Yeah, I always find it's very hard to choose the right color for drawing itself. So this is why I love to do it like this. We'll check if I'm okay with it right now. When is your mouth? Yeah, this is a bit like how glasses. Looking for me. 6. Adding the Highlites: So now we're going to search for some highlights and for the highlights. I'm going to look at where the sun is coming from. Summer's coming from this site and shadows from this side. So I make a new layer above the now think, um, the sketch. I don't need it at this moment, so I want to take him off right now. Yeah. And now you see, you have a lovely bottle and I'm going to make a new layer. And with that, I'm going to make some more white lines on it. And I choose my whites. I'm going to choose the liner brush again and just make some scribble E uh, lines, not toe. Not too clean, not too big. Just like I think it would look like a little bit painterly style. You see, it's exactly the same as it does here. So that's why I left him in here. And also here we have a little light, Gipp, and you can always add more or, um, pull back when you don't like it. That's why we do it on different layers. 7. Painting the Cork: um well, the bottle has to have a a little night. A cork. We call it a gherkin. Negligence in Dutch. We call it good luck. Is it called cork in English? I don't know. That's why we have to brown colors. And I start with the light off the medium brown on a new layer. Also, everything you do you do on a new layer. So I'm going to only draw the upper half and I drive on top because it has to, uh, cover the backside off the bottle. So with the same brush, the liner brush, the watercolor liner brush. I'm going to draw cork. I keep calling it a cork. I hope it's OK. It's a little bit like a trapeze iam a little bit around here because it follows the bottle and also here. This is why how we sketches approximately. Then we're going to fill it in is just for your own nephew. In your own perspective, colored in, make it a little bit depth so you can get your texture in it. It's very fine to have that we're going to smudge it with this much. We already used make a little bit smaller and keep it light on the right side and little bit darker on the left and upper half can also be a little bit lighter. And you give them more accent spite, using the other colors off over. It's like the lighter one on top. We re watercolor. You can't do that. But, hey, we're going digital till right here so we can lend him some more colors. It's much them again. Now. It already looks like a painterly colored, uh, court. Take some a little bit dark, your shadows, and you can also do this by selecting and using your you saturation and brightness is getting there just, you know, just a different weight. Also smarting a little bit, So this is how I like it. 8. Creating the Label: we're going to make the label on the bottle for that. We also going to make a new layer on top you layer, and I'm choosing my white again. And the liner brush already already had that selected And for label, I'm going to draw a rectangle little rectangle all the way. Whites, but only the outlines and make sure they are close because we're going to do a color drop. Fill with another color, but we're going to use it on another layer. So follow me. And if you find it hard to follow, just false and just rewind the video a little bits and check what I'm doing, I'm going to suit May now. I only knew Layer, I'm having my liner brush ready. And how think of. It's just 8% right now. Where do we want to have my label approximately in the middle of the bottle? So I'm going to draw a rectangle. I think my layers too big my brush to be 2%. Let's see what does a 2%. This is one of once. Now it's some 2% so make sure the lines are closing. Also in the coroner's make it a little bit bent is too straight. Lead bends. It doesn't have to be precise, but just approximately so. It's going around over the other white. Don't worry, but just make sure it's closed. We can do a simple check later to see if it's closed. It's not close here, you see, So I have to feeling in. So now we're going to do a color drop. But we're going to do that color drop on a different layer because I want to make some adjustments to death. So I want the outside off label very white. So I'm now going to make this a reference step delayer with the with a rectangle. Make this your reference. Make a new layer underneath dead layer. So, as my reference layer from the square on top made it a reference because I want to use that line and below that layer, I'm going to call a drop with the same white. And now you see, I have an open gap here, and that's why my paper did color it all the way. And so I go back to my reference layer again. Choose my liner brush already it it it was opened here. So let me see and check if it's OK. So don't worry. If you see this happening, that's where really great, Right? This happened to the video so you can see what the problem is and what it does. So you don't freak out when you do it yourself. Well, from he's just accidental right now. But for you to learning process Go back to the layer on the neath color drop. Yeah, No, it's OK. And now I have the color drop Phil within lines and why I did it is because I want to make adjustments toe the opacity because I want to have a slighter lighter color and I want to see some shades off the green and the yellow underneath, so I'm going to lower my a paucity just a little bit. It's enough. You see, whites. I think this is a fine color to use, uh, and makes it more attractive. Also, an attractive, attractive, attractive label. And because I want to have something written on the label you also get for me. Uh, my, uh my brush. Ben. It's a machine brush burn because I want the sites off the strokes a little bit, um, leaking and bleeding from the watercolor because otherwise, when the lines are too straight, it looks way to digital for me, and I don't want a digital look. I choosing my black. I'm going with the brush plan on new layer on top off the white and just start writing. Do it your own way. You can also use the front if you like. I do my lettering. I don't go into deep in this close about it because I can make a whole new close about like lettering. If you want. I make another new layer on top off the label and start writing. It's on top, so don't bother if you right outside lines or it's not in the center of your painting, right? So I'm going to write and I see where end and I can always make some adjustments later. 4% check what it's going to do now. I make thick stroke down and a thin strong stroke up, and that's by the pressure off my pencil and my settings on my brush. I'm going to rightly Marcello, we see it's very big, but no, don't worry. And this is going underneath the line from the outline from the label. Don't worry and you'll dot on top. So now I'm going to make some adjustments to make it fit my label because it's on a different layer. I can do that. Why doesn't it react? Like I want to on a little beds upwards. So, Dimel Jello fun, huh? We make this fun. Take a new layer because then I can play around with letters. And if I don't like it, I can also get rid of it. I like to exaggerate my letters. Now they are too big in instead of that one. So I'm going to size it down a bit. I fit it in. Well, I guess this would be fun on the label. 9. Making final adjustments and create shadows: and now I want to have some extra shadow below this rims called rim. So I'm going to layer again and it's my color painted layer off the bottle, and I'm going to select it and make adjustments with my you situation and brightness again . Choose free hands. Just follow the line a bit. Brazil. And when I do it right now, it's going to have harsh lines I don't want have harsh lines. So I'm going to Federated bits just a little bit, like so going to my you situation and brightness, and I'm going to darken it a little bit. Yeah, it's a little bit. And don't worry. If it's too much, I can always smudge it. The select Yeah, now it's too dark nowhere if just go to use much, too, and yet still in the same brush, always checking it. I'm stepping it a little bit, just like much and pulling all the color upwards and keeping my Dexter's. I think it looks great. I can also do this with my court because I think it's going can use a little bit darker color, go to my core player, select again and just selecting this little piece right here. Federated bits. Don't forget this one. Well, you see, in an instant you don't like it, so I'm not worried. You're going to forget that piece brightness a little bit. Yeah, it's a little bit 44 43. That's two dark 45 44. Yet I think I like it like that. So now we have already are brought already. And now we're going to make some French blesses around. We're going to make some dark spots in there like drops. And I am going to make some shadows and just finish this bottle of Ah, what should we do first? E, I'm think I'm going to make the shadow underneath. So I go all the way down, creating new layer all the way down, choosing my gray choosing well, we can use a liner brush or we can use the scribble brush. I guess I'm going for the scribble brush again. Not too big. And, you know, light is from this angle. So we should always here we always have cast shadow and you have a little bit off see through so we can erase that part. You can do this right away because otherwise, you can't seem toe recognize later from what layer it waas. So I'm going to do a new, uh, layer again on the needed. And that will be the shed off the bottle. This It was my casting show from the bottle itself. And then I'm going to do the shadow from the sun. I'm going to use a bigger step and creates, uh, are still on my razor. You see, when you do we over and over again, you lift your brush, it's going to make it a little bit darker. So if you don't want a dark, leave your pencil on the paper and we're going to smudge these lines a little bit. Also, we're stepping because it will have to be have to be a small issue. Wanted to be. We found this just a little bit painterly. Look, you know, you see here for a little bit off? Yeah. How do you call it? Um, hard lines and I I wanted in my watercolor. I like it like this. You see this little bit of pains also underneath the bottle and from this layer because I already erased the other layer. So I'm going to erase this again from this layer. And so and I think my bottle is nearly dumb. I just want to have a little bit more of color variation and a little bit a little bit more depth in my in my drawing. And that's where the overlay layer comes in. And I'm going to use that on top off my bottle layer. So only on the calorie I'm going to make a clipping mask out of debt because I only want to have it on this layer. And perhaps you're choosing another background, and there you have it also on your background layer. So that's not from choose black. I always true black make this layer and overlay layer, so it's clipping masked over late and choosing black. And now I'm going to check yet my watercolor scribble brush again, and I just do the outlines off the bottle with this a little bit where I want to darker. I could get a darker and now it's already exaggerates. The variety of color she already have inherit makes a darker and it doesn't work on the cork because I didn't have it selected, and I also can make some what a color splashes in it just by clicking. I do it very exaggerate right now, but, hey, you can't fun. It is. You see, that's what I like about these brushes. You condemn pent up mucus much, and you can do anything you like, so it becomes more realistic every time. So don't forget to do your overlay year color. I guess my bottle is ready for now, and we already have a little bit off smudging. Perhaps this can use a little bit off bloody bleeding. Uh, go back to these later. Again. It's much a little bit off if the color out let the color beads makes it more fun. Just little bits off painterly look, So our bottle is ready. 10. Bonus: Lemon: So I want to, um, surprise you with a bonus class and for these bonus close, we're going to make a lemon and a slice of lemon. I'm not going to cut this up in pieces. I'm going to do it in one way, but I talk you through it so I can get rid off my drawing. Later, my sketching layer delayed it, and I I just want to combine everything I already have here so I can replace it on wherever the sketch when I need it. So I'm going to accept them and slided a bit to the right. So it's all selected. And then I chose group. So now I can change and move the whole group if I want to. And it's not so difficult to see through all my layers if I need one layer. So this is the lemon. I'm going to rename and a story. This is not Lemon. This is Limoncello, so it's renamed now so I can find it easily. And group. It's so now it's Oakland, and we can't go work on something else. Um, the limit. It's very easy. It's just a little bit of over with two points at the site and I'm going not I'm not going to sketch it. I'm going to draw that right away. It doesn't have to be perfect. I'm going back to my line of rush again, choosing my green and well, this is normal kind of. But also make your lemon also look normal kinds off size. So this is much better and a little tip and a little bit not so much. What I'm going to do is fill it. Sorry, I'm going to feel it. The color in with my watercolor scribble brush again, stupid. It's not going to technique because that make my color darker from the side, and I don't going to smudge it. Same brush again, yet still stained brush. Also do this by a little bit, stepping knots much all the way because you get rid off all your texture and you love your texture. At least I do love my texture. I'm going to blend it all the way to the, uh to the edge off the color. But I leave almost everywhere a little bit off the edge, so you get your watercolor outlines of it much it separates. Leave it a little bit lighter on top. It's almost already done. You see, it's not hard. Where we going to make some little color variations to make a little bit darker down here, and I could choose darker yellow, but I want to do with with selection to again. I want to make it comfortable to you, for you to use it so free and selects the upper half not making a straight line. I'm going to fettered it just a little bit, so I don't have a hard lying about 8% go to me, you situation of brightness and turned out the brightness make a little bit darker. Yeah, and I'm going to do it another time, but just select slightly less part off the lemon again. So selected Federer. It's about 8% and I'm going to change the brightness again slightly darker. So this is how you easily can tone down your lemon. Now it has to have a costing shadow and an overall shadow. So I'm going to do the same. What I do did to the bottle going to make new layer underneath the lemon, turn into my gray on with the liner brush. Uh, you know. I think I did. Used to scribble brush, just going to make slightly cast show underneath it. And underneath that layer, I'm going to make another layer for the overall shadow. Please let me select you. Yeah, and I'll put it Blair down, going to make it a bit of a bigger size. And I'm just going to create another mentally. Should I wanted it? It doesn't have to be perfect. That's the fun away about creating it like this little smooching. You can all do this to your own liking. I don't I don't have to be a direct copy off this one. And also, with these brushes, you can't make an except copy off each painting, so just let it happen. Just like real watercolor. You can't always get an exact like a repertoire because the watercolor has it way has its way of doing things on its own. So I like this part really well, And, uh, I hope you'd like to 11. Bonus: Lemonslice: on. Now we're going to make a slice off, Lemon also. And that's also very easy. Did you notice in May taking a nap of my limoncello? My son made it for me. It's Ah, Elder Flat. Really? Monticello he made while Not for me, for himself. What are you? I sneaked into it, so I'm going to make a slice of lemon as well for that one. Uh, this is the big lemon eso. I'm going to blurt it all the way off the combined. This is group again that I call Lemon so and I'm going to make a slice of lemon and I'm It's very easy on. I almost do it at the same way. With some little tricks. I am going to take the liner brush. Not too big. How big is it right now? 3%. Let's check. Let me check. I think that's okay. I'm going. So in assuming habits and I make 1/2 of a circle and I keep my pencil down after I did it. So it's not a perfect circle. If I want a perfect circle, I have to my finger and I don't want a perfect circle. But now I can make some adjustments in how big I wanted to be. I think that this okay, well, to be no matter doesn't matter. I can always change this later. I have a spot here. Is it on the same layer yet? This is on the same layer so I can erase it right now very easily. So make sure if it's gone by now. Yes, it's gone. Um, for this part, I'm going to blend a little bit off the yellow inwards. Uh, lemon slice using the same, much, much brush again. And I'm going to four in a little bit. This keeping the outline as dark as possible, but sneaking in, you know, part. And of course, this is way to dark. So I'm going this much in some light again away, just as I will do. Wife, Riel, Watercolor. And this is also a way you can do your water scholar about the color blobs. And if you needed to be more wise, you can add white. But you can also so much away back just like when you use some real watercolor. Just put out some water and force your color to go back. Now comes the part I really like about it. And now I'm going to make those little parts. And I'm going to do this with selection also. So I'm taking my selection tool, but I'm going on a new layer so I can always make adjustments afterward. Selection free handed. And I'm just going to draw some little parts and step thing. Select a whole thing. So you see the great bottle Great round. Don't step it when you're ready. Don't be too precise about it. Nature isn't either. And that's the part I want to be colored in with another yellow and I'm going to choose. I think the line of Russia on doing a little bit bigger because I want to have some color adjustment in it. And you saw when we go over it, they get a little bit of texture in it. So yes, corner in it doesn't have to fit. Oh, you see, I want this part a little bit hard line. So I didn't Cousteau Federer option on this one. Don't call it all the way and we're going to smudge it. I just scribble and able with it. So you get a very different texture already smudge it little. But, oh, don't smudge it like keeping your pencil on the your iPad. Just check on them so you can have a little color variations still, and also you can't pull out, but you can pull some white back in, so make use of that to your life. Things make sure you go old away to the edges. Of course, it's very hard when you see a get somewhere, so all the edges must have some color. It doesn't have to be dark color, but must have some color because it's going to look very weird off the word on. And I think I like this here. I'm going to, um, remove the selection with this part. You see, it's very digital because it's very tight looking and we go on this much that a little bit . It's much too very small. I'm just going to give it more painterly. Look, it's marching the edges. Don't be creative with it. The Gulf Euro city, huh? Just enjoy what is happening on the nature pencil. It also does with we watercolor. It's not always growing the way you want it, not in a painterly style. It's very small, but you can always sue May now, right? I like it this way, and I'm going to make some more details. So I'm making an overlay layer on a clipping mask to go to overlay on a new layer, said it a clipping mask. And I choose black again and I'm going to choose. It's already on the liner brush, so it's OK. I'm going to slight take it down and make some little stripes, and sometimes it won't pick up the color. But where you color is darker, you will see it more. And because it's pressure sensitive, it takes all different shapes. So not exactly the same shapes that you want. But that's why it's such a cute, uh, results off the word. And now you do this with Black from overlay. But you can also do it with whites on overlay and for dead. I'm going to make a new layer again, also overly. And if I don't like, I can always serve, get rid of it, clipping mask also, and I'm going to change it to whites and double tap in the upper left corner, and I'm going to lighten it. And now I think It's too bright because it brightens to yellow on the needs. But I can make some adjustment with it. My opacity, I think so. I don't bother too much, and I can also smudge it. That's why they did it on a different layer, so and bring down the opacity all the way back, all the way back to 24%. Sorry, 24. It's layer 38%. This is why I like it. I think, Ah, my dark march has a little bit too hard. So I'm going to turn back to my dark overlay layer. Now. This is too much. Going to bring that also down a little bit and I take it down toe 59%. I guess I like it. And now it's way too high on the table. So I'm going to bring this down. I group this cult a gator. It just four layers. You see, you don't have to go all the way into withdrawing its group this, and I'm going to move this group a little bit down, and I think it has to be a little bit smaller. If you look at the size of the lemon, the only thing This is great. It's OK on the table like this. Wow. Doesn't have to be precise. It's just a painterly yeah looking thing here, and I'm going to make a little shadow underneath it. So we're going to make a cost channel first on the knees, choosing my gray, using my watercolor scribble brush. Very small because it's very thin piece. Raise a little bit of a part there, very small, and I'm going to create a little shut overall. Well, it's very great that a piece of lemon, that slice of lemon that has days off right. But, hey, it's OK you can use. It also is a painting off its own, but then use a bigger drawing and just a new layer underneath. And I'm going to increase my brush a little bit. It's on the razor. Yep, I saw why doesn't it work as much? It a bit. It doesn't have a big share because its small size and there's also blood underneath my, um, slice. So I'm going to raise it again. Well, this is the phone drawing. I ain't it Just taking another ship. My limoncello. All it now needs is a little bit of fun. Some lemon juice is no splashing all the way Very easy. Go toe all the way down, making you layer all the way down and for the sake off keeping your pellets clean. Just group this old together and this one drag it up here and close its and called his lemon slice. I didn't do this before, but it's very handy when you have some adjustments to make. So not for go checking all your layers again. So please regroup every name. Aurelius. It's very, very comfortable when you do that. So I make made a new layer. You see, I'm only on Layer 28th and I've already made a few layers from a texture. So it's not very hard to do this. Uhm, I'm going to make some fun. Lime calorie. Um, splendor. Go to my watercolor, brush my dots, find out what color and you could make them as big as you want. Oh, it's on the group. Go to the layer, Adam. Some dreams if you want to, to give it some color, and you can even add in some black if you want. Do we don't a different layer, because when you don't like it, you can always get rid of them. And then I go, Jake looks and find outs. I don't know. I don't like it trying you? Yes, a little bit. Yeah, This is how I like it. So I hope you like this close. And I hope you get a lot of fun with creating your lemon limoncello battle. You can always use same of different colors. Eso choose red one if you want to do a red wine label, but you can use the same steps and you can add until you liking if you want. I hope you enjoy this class. And perhaps I see you in our class and make sure to leave your if you and post your own project in the close so I can see what you were made out of it. So thank you very much for watching. And I hope to see in another class 12. Some more examples:
