1. Introduction to Text Designing: Hi, my name is Sasha. I'm a motion graphic designer and illustrator. Over the years, I created so many motion graphic animation in this Skillshare course, I'm going to teach you how to layer styles in Photoshop to create cool-looking text effects. This is a complete layer style based course so that we only go into discuss Layer Styles. I will teach you to use Layer Styles in depth. I will show you five different texts effects started from a static context effect by applying stroke and gradient and in-depth tutorial of making glass texture effect using six last time, I will take apart 3D times creation. In the next tutorial, I will teach you to apply neon glow effect to shape layers next. And finally, I will cover making of a 3D text. Once you finish each tutorial, make sure to download project file for practice in yourselves. So let's get started. 2. Applying Stroke & Gradient to Make Sticket Text Effect: Stroke is used to add strokes and voters to layers. I made a text using laptops Pro font with a font size 344 PD in a full list again, was head over to stroke by clicking here. Stroke size slider sets the width of your stroke. Keep that 21 pixel. Position controls the alignment of the stroke. Outside, inside and center. Keep inside to keep stroke inside text. Now I choose outside. The opacity slider controls how transparent stroke keys. And you can fill stroke with a color gradient and better, now I choose a white color. Next, I'm going to apply a gradient overlay. And let's add these colors to a gradient overlay. Then keep the slider over here, and this lighter over here. Then double-click the fossil lighter than, keep a red color, dark, double F, 46 P. This is going to be a red color variant gradient. Then click the next slider and type WWF 7189, then hit Okay, then. Now this looks nice. I think a light red to dark red color Russell settings linear than align with layer, then opacity is 100% each normal blending mode, 90-degree and scale, just leave it 100% H and the method is perpetual or other mothers you can choose and add a drop shadow layer, drop shadow next. Then the blending mode Multiply. We can choose a black color, keep the opacity 35% H, and keep the angle 44 degree. Then we can keep the distance to 43, then keep the spread value to zero in size to 32, 32 pixels. Then linear Gander and noise is zero noise Oregon to play other sort of drop shadows. No matter. Now we successfully completed applying of layer styles. It isn't necessary to convert the text into S model budget for this case because we are only applying layer styles to only one layer. So I can change the text at anytime. I go change that to speed. And you can change the text to anything, the style won't change. Thank you. 3. Glass Text Effect Building Structure: In this tutorial, I'll briefly explain PHY layer styles. The final product will be a class text effect. I'm going to apply Bevel and Emboss stroke Inner Shadow, inner glow, sat in Outer Glow and drop shadow. Create a text with each serif font. Then align the text into the center of the canvas and choose 216 PT font size with a regular font typeface. And you can choose any color you want. I already created a gradient background so that the gradient will detail the text. Then the next thing is keep the fill value into zero because we are going to apply a layer style. In order to see all the layer styles, we should keep the field value to zero. Fill value doesn't affect layer stack. The next is applying layer styles. I'm going to apply Bevel and Emboss first. What is Bevel and Emboss? It's a layer style. Then what is bevel? Level is a sloping surface or edge embolus is a mold carved on a surface or object. So what is it used for Bevel and Emboss is to make something look more 3D by adding shadows and highlights to different parts of the layer. Bevel and Emboss Tyler boss, giving us a slew of options like bevel style, depth, then texture. And so more here in the style, choose inner bevel. This applies that they will do inside of the shape you are applying into with MBO style applied Bevel and Emboss effects both the inside and outside of the shape. Choose inner BBA, then keep the DEP to 1,000 or maximum. Depth slider increases or decreases the apparent depth of the Bevel and Emboss. For a dramatic look, keep it higher. The next is technique. In between that, we get three sort of techniques. It allows us to set the overall shape of the Bevel and Emboss. This setting creates a smooth, rounded edge bevel, soft T-cell creates a rougher T-cell, the edge bevel. Here we're going to choose hard GSL because we need a harder to sell the edge bevel. The next is direction. The button simply lets you choose whether you want your bevel and emboss to appear to be x2 that towards you or away from you. Keep the direction up. The next size, the size slider says the overall size of the bevel and emboss. A lower number creates a small effect that stays closer to the edge of your shape. While a large number increases the coverage to a large area of your text or shape. Keep that to 42. Next is often sought and slider allows you to soften any hard edges created by your bevel and emboss. Keep the value up for skew she looking text. Keep that eight because we need to get a soft edge. Now we successfully completed modifying the structure of the text. Let's explore shading properties, angle and altitude area is where you set the position of your light. Ankle sets the horizontal position of the light source. And the alternative says the vertical position or apparently height of your light source drags more cross error around to edit light source. Then check, Use Global Light to sing these settings with other layer style lightning settings. Keep the angle to 60 degree and the altitude to 30 degree. The next year's gloss counter, close contour sets the fall off of the shadows and highlights within our Bevel and Emboss, a linear conduct creates a natural-looking fall off. And here we can load a condor, just click over here. Then load contours, then choose clause condo or one. Then select that condor. This annualize, the checkbox will smooth out any jagged edges within your gloss if it's desire. So let's check that. Then. Next is, these are two parts of lighting, highlights and shadows. The highlight mode drop-down is where you set the blend mode for your highlights. Screen is the default one. If you want to simulate different colors you can change to have and colored highlight. Control the intensity or highlight with the opacity slider. Here I'm going to choose normal blending mode with white color and keep 100% opacity. Because this is a glass text effects so that we need to get better reflections. Then next is shadow more shadow mode. Drop-down is where you set the blend mode for your shadows. Multiply is the default mode and choose linear burn. Because why we choose a dark and blending mode in order to get better glow, we also need to darken some other places of the text. Then choose a black color that is already selected and keep the opacity to 14 percentage. Now, we successfully applied Bevel and Emboss. Next is condor. Just check the calendar. The calendar subsection under Bevel and Emboss Hallows you to set the overall shape of your bevel. Click over here and load a custom calendar click Load can apply counter zero to. Then just hit Okay, and keep the range to 100% age ranges slider allows us to set the overall coverage of our bevel. Then we successfully applied a Bevel and Emboss. Then next is applying inner glow effect into it. 4. Glass Text Effect Stylizing Text: Just click over here to apply Inner Glow. It's a lesser used layer style integral can be used to create inner stroke to layer. This is useful to create cutout effect or create depth in your layers. Inner glow settings divide it into three structure elements and quality. Majority of the settings are same as Bevel and Emboss. So I won't repeat that again. Choose normal blending mode. Keep the opacity to 40% H. Adding noise will result in getting noisy texture to the claw. I don't want their adult, so just keep that to zero here I'm going to stick with the wide color in a globe. Choosing software technique give us an organic and natural looking where ask precise fits the glow tightly to the text. Choose edge to give the law in the edges for more intense glow, keep the value of. Use joke slider to control how gradually fades out at the edges. For more intense glow, keep the value of L's. Keeping 0% age size allows us to increase the size of Inner Glow in one pixel increment, keep the size to 22 pixels. Now I think you can clearly see what in a glaube dass sie Dann. This is really, really weird counter. I need to change that in the quality is action. Choose Khan condo range. Click over here, then choose Khan. See that? Then keep the range to 50% each and zero per cent Gita. The next, we successfully applied inner glow into it. Then next is applying stroke effect. So click over here. I already gave tutorial how stroke going to work applying stroke effect, going to add more depth to the text. I'm generating more catchy reflections. So keep the size to nine pixels. Then position it outside. Then keep the blending mode to Normal. Keep the opacity to 60% each. But this is now the gradient I want to play up laying a solid color won't create a cashier reflection, so they are a gradient with the multiple contrast will do the job. Great. Load this gradient. Click over here, then import, choose strong gradient. Then go down, then open straw gradient, it saved on the folder. Then click. Now, this is the gradient we applied. Then hit Okay, then fill time is created. The next style, which style should I choose? Choose into a linear style? Then uncheck rewards. If I reversed, the whole gradient will reverse. Then align with layer is checked. Then keep the angle to 90 degree and keep the scale to 50% age. Choose the interpolation method to classic. There is nothing wrong with that. We successfully applied stroke effect into it. The next is applying inner shadow. Just click over here and apply in a shadow. Inner shadow is to simulate 3D depth in a 2D image, the dialog box is similar as some drop shadow. Only difference is that instead of the shadow showing up behind the shade, it shows up within the shape. Then choose a black color. Then keep the blending mode to color burn. Then opacity goes 60% H and keep the angle to 60-degree. Then distance covers 42 pixels. Then the chalk value, keep that to zero and size to 55 pixels. Linear counter is selected with zero noise. The inner shadow is small. The style is same as drop shadow, so that I won't explain every other setting. Now we successfully completed texturing the layer. Then the next is applying satin. I can't see any sat in over here because I think somehow it's hidden click over here, then apply. In. Now I can see satin. So what is that in? Saddled layer style is texturing or stylizing or detailing layer style. This is lesser used to help, help us to add details to our layer. Sedentary is two copies of our layer, then offsets and blurs them to produce the final result. We may not be able to picture in part, it is easy to understand. Once you see an action, then choose the blending mode to color, will choose black color, then choose opacity value of 15 percentage. Choose 15% opacity, then keep the ankle to 120 degree. Adjusting angle can change the lightening of your design. Then distance ladder changes at distance that the SAT and gets offset from the original shape. Keep the distance to 100 pixels. Then size slider sets the blurred size of the SAT in. The larger value is the blurrier it gets, keep the size to 50 pixels. Then the counter, apply a custom calendar, click over here, then load, choose SAT and counter. Then. Heat. Okay, check and the earliest and check the inverter. Flip your candor upside down. This was for, if you want to make texts look like this, click inward, it's optional. Next one is applying outer glow. This is a glow effect used to make glow outside this talk Outer Glow also can be used to create forks drop shadow, as well as adding outer strokes. How to grow creates a wide stroke outside, which help us to reduce the intensity of drop shadow. So they're the texts you going to get highlighted in the top part of the text. Choose Color, Dodge blending mode. Then choose white color. Then keep an opacity of 40% H. Then keep the noise to five percentage are here. Keep the size to 56. Then keep the spread to zero. Then keep the technique to softer. Then next is condor is linear and keep the range to 50% H and G TO value, keep that too zero there or keep the range to 47 or something, 48. Just keep that to or keep the range value down to 40 or something so that we can see everything precisely. Next is applying drop shadows. We need to apply two drop shadows. One is to make an intense drop shadow, and other one is to make a soft drop shadow. So click Drop Shadow, click the plus icon to make that into two. When I click the drop shadow, the color actually overlap the text in order to avoid that click Layer knocks out drop shadow. See that? Then we're going to choose for the first drop shadow. Keep on Multiply blend mode and choose black color. Keep the opacity down to 40% each. Then keep the angle to 60-degree and check, Use Global Light. And keep the distance to 16. Then keep the spread value to 15 and keep the size to 25. See that? Also, drop shadow is minimizing Outer Glow. Then select the next drop shadow. This drop shadow is going to be a distance drop shadow. Key multiply blending mode and 40% opacity, black color selected 60 degree. Then check Global Light and keep the distance to 40. Then keep the spread value to 50. Size is going to be 65 so that we can blur the drop shadow. Now in achieved a better 3D depth. Now we successfully applied the text into it, then hit, Okay, see daddy. And I didn't convert the text into Smart Object because we are only using one layer so that we can change the text at anytime. It adapted the layer stack. And then we can do so many things in order to texturize the text effect. Make a new layer. Then select the brush tool. Then select a dark color and keep the opacity down to 5% age or something, decrease its hardness. Keep the layer above the text layer. Make sure to keep that. Then just drag that. This is slightly going to add details into it. We can also, we need the background layer, background layer selected and select the gradient. Choose a black gradient, black and white gradient. Hit Okay, choose Radial, then reverse that. Then scale it up, 32623 or something, then just hit Okay. Then change the blending mode to any darkening blending mode. I choose. Multiply, then keep the opacity down. And this was before and after. And also we can use hue saturation adjustment layer to change the color. See that. And also we can decrease the lightness in order to get that globe better. So that's all about this. So we successfully covered fine adjustment layers, bevel and emboss, inner shadow, inner glow, then sat in and outer glow. And also we cover the straw can drop shadows. So that's all about it. Practice yourself. That is only going to make difference. Thank you. 5. Making 3D Text Effect by Generating Extrusion Layers: It is in that messy to make 3D text effect in Photoshop. So let's make it 3D text effect drag this background because the background is really essential to highlight the text. I just made this document with 3,000 into 2,500 pixel dimension. Let's make text first, choose Text tool and type any text you want. Then align that to the center. That's cool. I chose a phone called Myriad Pro with a bold typeface with a 268 size. And the next is we want to make three copies of the texts. Press Control J, or you can just drag and keep here to make copies and keep the field value of all these layers into zero except the origin layer. So what will happen if you keep the fill to zero? The color you feel the will vanish. We just kept black color and you can choose any color you want. So we're going to play three layer styles into the first layer or first text. That is Bevel and Emboss than stroke and inner shadow. So let's add a stroke first. Go up here and add a stroke. So keep the stroke value 39 pixels. And it's positioned outside with a normal blending mode cube that opacity, 100% age. Just choose a gradient. I'm not going to disclose the gradient. Hexa code is up here. You can import that gradient, just go up here and import gradient. Just use the gradient sky will 01 gradient. You can access this from Exercise Files, then load. Then we get one gradient up here, then apply that gradient than linear is selected, then angle is 90 degree and scale just keep it up 190. That's cool. Then check aligned with layer. That's all we successfully completed applying stroke to this layer. Then we can add Bevel and Emboss. Then we're going to stylize with stroke emboss. So what is stroke emboss? Stroke emboss only works when you also have a stroke effect applied to your layer and apply the bevel only to the stroke. Then choose the technique to chisel hard. Then we can keep with that of the T and the size goes and the direction is up 68 and the softening just keep that too well, that's cool. Then the angle is 90 degree and enable the Global Light and they all still just keep that 30 degree. Then gloss counter is linear, then highlight mode screen with white color and keep the opacity up to 70 percentage, 75% each. That's it. This is pure white color. And shadow mode key multiply, and you can use this hexachord 101044, the shadows and opacities and defy finally add an inner shadow to the layer. Adding in the shadow help us to get a three-dimensional view to the first layer and multiplies selected, apply this color code deeper one, d 37, a dark blue color, then opacity just q that 75%. Then this tense, just keep it 25 with the zeros Jacques size, just keep it less than pixel that's cold and the linear counter and zero, nice. Now we finished applying latest as of the first layer. So head over to the next layer, then hit Okay. We have played three layer styles. Then go to the second layer, Double-click to head over to the next layer. In the second layer, add a stroke, follow the same digits except gradient. We can choose a color. Then choose the color. We can give this hexa code, 09, F1, double F. This is a pretty sky blue color. Okay? Then add Bevel and Emboss next. Then stroke emboss is selected chisel hard. Keep the depth to 200. Cool. Then the direction is up, then the size, this key 69. And the softening is to develop pixels and Roster Settings are same as before. Now, add a gradient overlay. Chose gradient overlay. The gradient overlays to fill color inside the text with our gradient, we get the fill or we get a black color and just add a gradient overlay, then the blend mode is normal with the 100% opacity. Then choose the gradient. Then add these hexagons to the gradient. First one in the left side, double 12340. It's a dark blue hit. Okay. On the other side, 245 17e hit. Okay. Then, okay, now we got a great gradient fill. Now we've finished editing the second layer and the style is linear. Then I'll end with later with a 90 degree angle. Then keep the scale 100% each. And the method is to some classic, Do you know what our classic linear and perceptual methods, these are three sort of color interpolation methods. Classic method used. Cubic interpolation of colors. Perpetual interpolation method interpolates the gradient in the archaea LAB color space. Linear method interpolates the gradient interlinear color space. Which one should I choose? Anyone? Those are designed to enhance the users creative process of creating smooth gradients. Now, we successfully finished adding layer styles to the second layer. Then the next step is adding depth to the text. We can make 3D extrusion binary position in the text, one pixel and making multiple copies of it. So let's folder these two layers. Then this layer selected, these layers are selected, then hit folder, the name that front. Cool. Then this layer also selected press Control T to enable transform controls. Now we can define the extrusion direction if you want to keep the extrusion leftOp plus left arrow q plus Up key. Make it down left to by pressing these keys. And also we can place right Plus top, right, bottom. Keep in mind, you only need to press each key only one time. In order to scale inward, scale down one pixel. Then we can press Control T. Then left key and top, we're making extrusion in this direction. Then click Check mark. Once you've finished displacing, hit Enter and then press and hold, Control, Alt, Shift, then tap Tiki 25 times. Each time you tap letter D. Photoshop copies at texts layer keep the field value of the layer to 100%. Then only you can see that then press Control T. Now apply three layer styles to extrusion layers. Select the first layer, add stroke, bevel and emboss and color overlay. Add a stroke. Stroke is selected, keep the size to 38, then outside, aligned outside with normal blending mode and opacity 100% age. And let's choose this color, 07ff p. Now we can see some changes taking place up here. Then the next is adding Bevel and Emboss. Stroke embolus is selective than chisel hard. Keep the depth to 205. Up is a direction than size. Just keep it 68 pixels and choose the softening to zero and the shading settings are same as before. Now we're going to add a color overlay and choose the color 271951, dark blue color. Then with the opacity, 100% age, normal blending mode. Once you've finished making coffee, the layer styles and peace to do every other layers. Then right-click, then Copy Layer Style and paste into every other layer. Then this one is selected. You can go down and hold shift, click to select or other layers, then right-click, then paste layer style. Now, these layer styles can be applied to every other layer. We select it. But there's no significant change in the appearance. We have to do one thing, go to Layer, then arrange, then reverse. But I made a mistake. I should have kept this layer over here. But we can either keep that up there or I can delete the layer. It doesn't matter, but if I hide that, I can actually see that 3D depth. So just keep that I've learned over here. Now we go to 3D depth, final stages, adding shadows. Then we can group these layers, all of these layers selected, then make the group name 3D. Extrusion. Cool. Then we have in the original layer, make four copies of texts. Layer one, then two, then three, then four, and keep the field value of every other layer to zero. Then we can hide this layer. Alright, we're going to add a drop shadow to every other layer. Then head over to Layer Styles, add drop shadow, then multiplies selected key, the color code 2171e phi f for the first layer. Then hit Okay, then the opacity goes 75 percentage, then keep the angle 90 degree and check the globe light. And this tends just keep that too well. Then spread just keep it 44 and size 80. Now we're going to add another shadow to the next layer. Drop shadow selected, multiplies the blending mode than 50% opacity. Then keep their 90 and Use Global Light and distance. Just keep it 90 degree and spread to any B-cells. And size goes 152 big drop shadow. Then the third one with 50% opacity, multiply and same colour. Then distance, keep it 300 pixels. And the spread just keep it. One person needs than size goes to 100. This is a big drop shadow. Then hit, Okay. Now we successfully complete and meaning of this 3D text effect. Then we can fold all these layers. Then just drag it to here. And the shadow. And I forgot to do one thing which was actually making the text Smart Object before start editing. So what is the benefit of creating all text smart object? You can change the text at anytime. Alright, that's all about it. Thank you. 6. Neon Glow Effect in Shape Layer: Let's grow the best past quarter. I traced the best prosecutor, and let's add neon glow effect to the stroke I just created or the GAN loss with the dimensions of 2,500 to 17 50 pixels. And I traced to using Pen tool. It's essential to keep a dark background to get a decent neon glow effect. Because light glows in dark background. Our plan is to make three copies of the group then apply in a shadow, in a color overlay and out of law to the first folder. Then we will apply drop shadow to other folders. Let's apply a color overlay to the first folder. Here. Color Overlay first, normal blending mode is selected, then choose this color. This is going to be a sky blue color neon effect. Now we've got a sky blue color to the stroke. Then the next step is lightening the stock. So we can add in a glove, just keep then enabled. Then the blend mode goes normal with the 100% opacity. Then keep the noise Sarah, then we can choose this color that is b, a, S, D, F, E. Then technique is softer than align that to center. Then the chalk, Let's give 11% H with a size of four pixel count or is linear. Then range, just keep that through two percentage. Alright, then we can add Outer Glow next with the blend mode to Linear Light selected. Then keep the opacity 65 percentage than zero noise and choose this color. That is seven, a F, a F5, then hit Okay, then we can keep the technique softer than spread goes zero and size just keep it 38 pixels. Now we can see is going to the outside. When I increase the size of the outer glob, the color spread out the shape so that increasing size help to get a globular shape. This is how Google works in this example. Now, the quality is same as before. Then finally, we can add in a shadow into it. And the inner strata is only going to add a small shadow in the edges through every nuance may exchange to skew the blending mode normal, then choose this color, one CV to D9, then just hit Okay, then keep the angle 90 degree, then the opacity just keep that 100% age. Then this tends zero pixels. Then chalk, keep that 19% age and the size goes just one pixel. Alright? Then need to add a small shadow inside it in the edge. Now the first folder finished. Then let's move on to the next folder. We achieved a great looking neon glow though it's essential to segregate the background. So applying job channels helps to segregate the glow from background. Go to the second folder. Here we're going to add two drop shadows and beveled numbers. One soft drop shadow first. So just go up here and drop shadow selected and choose soft light and white color is selected. Then we can keep the opacity 100% H, Then ankle goes 90 degree. And systems just keep that to six pixels and spread 0% age and size, escape it by B cells and keep the golden light on. Then we'll still the settings are saved. Then we can add the next drop shadow. This can be a big drop shadow and choose this one, the underneath one offline, same than the color I, same opacity, same. Then keep that this tends to 26. Cool. Then the spread goes euro and size goes 24. That's it. Now we successfully completed adding job shadow into it. Then we can add Bevel and Emboss into it. Then choose outer bevel from stroke and emboss to outer bevel. Then keep the chisel hard to GSL, smooth and depth goes, keep that a little bit higher for 28 and version goes up and the size goes file, cool. Then this often goes one, just keep that one pixel in the shading. The angle is 90 degree. Check Global Light and the altitude is 30 degree. And here, change gloss corner to ring counter and the Blending Mode Color Dodge. And keep the opacity down to 20% A's and choose white color and shadow mode blending mode to multiply and choose the color to black with 0% opacity. That's it. Then hit Okay. Now we've finished applying ethics to second folder. Now we need to limit the glow by applying three drop shadows in the third folder. This shadow is going to be black in color. Let's add three drop shadows. Then select the first one. Then we can add normal blending mode with a black color. Keep the opacity down to ten percentage. That's it. And keep the distance to 42 pixels. Zeros, softness and psi schools 21 pixels, that's it. Then linear congruence, zero noise. And let's choose the second drop shadow. Then keep the blending mode, Linear Burn, black color selector. Then keep the opacity ten percentage and the angle goes 90 and choose the distance to 23 pixels with a 0% they spread and 15 pixel size. Then we can add the final drop shadow, that is Linear Burn color mode with a black color. Keep the opacity to five percentage and distance goes 30 pixels with 20% is spread and 14 pixel size. Now, we can apply the layer styles to texts layers, make adjustments if needed. Now we successfully finished making of neon glow effect and you can change colors, I can use a hue saturation adjustment layer to cumulate, change the color. Next we can add a shape layer into it, just bought or the scooter. Then make three copies of the layer, copy layer style and paste it over here. Repeat this for other layers. Right? Then you can include these layers. You can also add text into it. That's all about making neon glow effect in Photoshop. Thank you. 7. Making a 3D Gaming Text Effect: In this tutorial, I will teach you to create a 3D text effect by applying phi layer styles, we can achieve this look. My plan is to make a copy of text and apply bevel and emboss and the gradient overlay so that we get a gradient and bolster parents to the text. Next step is making couple of extrusion layers to make a 3D appearance. And finally we create shadows. Make again was with 4,000 by 2,400 big cells with 300 PPI. Then font sizes 250, BT tracking is 60. Go to project files and open 3D camera text dot PSD to access project file. I already created a background and text. Install the font. If you are an installed the font and keep the character preferences. Then first convert text into a smart object. Name the layer camera, then select the layer, then press Control J to duplicate the layer. Then drag and keep the layer over here. And we're going to apply gradient overlay to the first layer. Just select the layer, then apply gradient overlay. And click the gradient and choose the stroke gradient. You can download the gradient from project files, then hit Okay, and choose normal blending mode with 100% opacity. Then choose linear style, then check aligned with layer and you can check reverse and keep the angle to 90 degree. And scale 100% each. Choose classic interpolation method. Then next is applying Bevel and Emboss. Check to apply Bevel and Emboss. Next step is creating a small pupil to the text style bevel to inevitable. Keep smooth technique and keep the depth all the way up to 1,000. Keep the size to ten pixels. Because a small bevel makes the effect catchy, then keeps often to two pixels. In the shading properties, choose n equal to 113 degree and change the altitude to 40 degree. Then use linear Condor, used a sky blue highlight color. Just click over here, then type 3D D3, f, E. With Linear Dodge, blending more with full opacity, and choose a violet color shadow mode with 20% opacity. Click over here and type this color-code double six to F9 D. And choose the opacity to 20% H and change the shadow mode to Linear Burn. So we successfully applied Bevel and Emboss, then hit Okay, but one thing I forgot to do was making the field value to zero. So select both these layers and keep the field value to zero. Then select the second layer. In the next step, I'm going to create an extrusion layers by making chunk of layers in one pixel in agreement, we can assume 3D effect, Tab Control T to transform controls, then tap right key and the down key one time. Then hit Enter, then hold Control Alt, Shift key and press T key nine times. But we're going to see anything because the fill value is zero. So select all these layers, then change a field value to 100 so that we can see that the extrusion layers. But I'm going to change the fill value to 0%. Again. Then select all the nine layers and go to Layer. Then our range. Then reverse, the delayers, reversed, then apply stroke effect to the first part object, give it a white color with 15 pixels size. Then select the layer, then apply a stroke effect with the white color. Then keep a stock value of 15 pixels, then position outside normal blending mode with 100% opacity. Then open next model object and apply bevel and emboss. And before that, copy layer styles from this layer and paste it over here. Then apply Bevel and Emboss. Stroke emboss. Stroke emboss only works when you also have a stroke effect applied to your layer and apply the bevel only to the stroke. Then keep smooth technique and keep the depth to 1,000. Then in size, just keep that to 21. Then you can keep the direction up. And soft and value, keep 16 pixels. Then keep the angle to -52. Then keep the altitude to 30. Then choose a linear Condor, then choose black color highlight with 80% opacity. Then choose linear burn, choose white color shadow, and choose the blending mode. Linear Dodge Tool is an opacity of 20% H that we already selected. Then hit Okay. Then copy the Layer Style. Then paste it to every other layer, except this layer, because we need to apply shadows into this layer. Then right-click and then paste. See that we successfully stylized extrusion layers. Final step is creating shadows. Folder all the layers except the first one. Then select this layer and name that shadow. Applied drop shadow. We want to apply three drop shadows. Then select the first drop shadow, choose black color with Linear Burn. Select Linear Burn. Then choose black color with 40% opacity. Then keep the angle to 130 degree. Then Use Global Light. Then this tense, just keep the distance to 34 and spread value to 20. Then size to 43. Then condor is linear. Then select the second drop, shadow. Then choose blue color because we want to match the background. So choose this color, 03 to d. D. Then hit Okay, then keep the opacity to 10% H. Then keep angle to one-thirty, then keep distance to 34 pixels and spread to 2010 size to 40 pixels. Then select Next drop shadow. Then select a blue color, 032d Phi dy, then just hit Okay, then opacity, just keep that too percentage and choose an angle 130 degree than keep the distance to 75 pixels, then spread value to 20 pixels and the size to 40 pixels. That's it. We successfully created the 3D text effect. We can improve this layer and name that to shadow. Then if I want to change the texts, just double-click and type whatever I want. This chair type of hello, then Control S to save this file. That's all about it. Thank you.
