1. Welcome to Your AI Animated Journey!: Did you know that you can create captivating animated story videos like this one? In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. Wow. This place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. After a while, Leo reached a wide river. The water rushed quickly, and he saw no bridge. How will I get across? I can help. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. Leo and Mia crossed the river, but suddenly dark clouds rolled in and rain began to pour. We need to find shelter fast. They ran to the cave where they met Ben, a brave boy who had also sought refuge. There's a wild animal in here. We can scare it away. The three friends gathered sticks and made noise. With teamwork, they frightened the animal out of the cave. We did it. This was the best adventure ever. The three friends returned to the village, knowing they could face anything together. Their bond would last a lifetime. And the best part is all with the power of artificial intelligence. Hi, I'm Professor M Higasi and I'll be guiding you step by step in this groundbreaking course. Whether you're a complete beginner or a content creator looking to level up, this course will empower you to create engaging, high quality story videos from start to finish. Ready to bring your animated stories to life with AI. Let's dive in and I'll see you in the course. 2. Crafting a Compelling Story for Animated Videos with ChatGPT : One of the crucial steps to developing your AI animated video is to first write your story script. Now, you obviously can't develop an animated video without having a story to it, right? So what we're going to do is we're going to leverage AI for that portion first. And we're going to use hat CPT. You're free to use any chat bot, but we're going with hathPT in this course. And essentially what we're going to do is we're going to pick a story, and we're going to have hathPT give us a script with all the main characters of the story we select, and all the scenes split up. Basically in an organized fashion that will help us when it comes time to generating or creating our animated video. So what I have for you in this lesson is basically a prompt that we can use and fill in with all our specifics. So with this prompt here, essentially, it'll make your story come to life. And let me go ahead and go through it first, and then I'll explain how we can fill in those placeholders. So, it says, write me a brief story of and then it asks you to enter story name and idea here. Make it a captivating story to keep readers interested and use basic English. Make it no more than, and then you're going to enter the number of characters here, and include Ole and then here you're going to enter the number of characters, meaning the characters in the story, not to be confused with the number of characters in the story script, okay? So enter the number of characters, or you can even say main characters to avoid confusion in the story, along with a narrator. And then you inform Che Ji PT, you provide further instructions and state, I will be using the story script to create an animated video. So split the story into, and then you're going to enter the number of parts here. One for each scene. And each scene include a mixture of both main characters and narrator speaking. So a lot of this stuff is essential to mention for reasons that have to do with how we're going to be developing our animated video. So, for instance, you want to mention that you're going to be creating an animated video, so ChahPT is intelligent enough to realize that it needs to split your story script into different scenes, right? And you also want to mention that you want a narrator in there because a good story is comprised of a narrator and some characters who are actually speaking throughout the story. So let's go ahead and fill these in. Alright, so the first part, which is probably the most crucial is the story name or idea. Now, you can pick a popular story and insert it in here and focus on creating an animated video based on that type of story, or you can create a completely brand new story idea. For instance, let's say there's a story in mind, right? It could be, for example, a historical story, something in relation to Greek history, for example. Or it can be popular fiction stories or fable stories or myths, right? So you have, for example, just to name a few. You have, for example, the story of the Three Musketeers. You have the story of Robin Hood. You can even go more ancient, and it could you could go with the story of Hercules, Alexander the Great. You could do something like Life of Pie, for instance, and many other known stories out there. Really, it could be about literally anything that you're interested in. Or you can create your own idea, your own story. So it all depends on what you want to do. For the purpose of this course, I'm not going to go off of a known, popular story. I'm going to create my own story line, story theme, characters because I want to innovate, right? I want a new idea. And certainly, I can pick one of the older existing ideas out there, but I want something completely brand new for this course, just to demonstrate that you can, if you like, create a brand new animated video with your own characters, your own story, and make it as original as possible by leveraging and harnessing the power of AI. So in this case, I'm just going to select a story idea. Alright. So for instance, you're going to say the following. Write me a brief story of and then put your story idea here. I'm going to say a young man traveling through a forest and encounters obstacles. And overcomes them. So just something very brief, AI will fill in the gaps, okay? So a young man traveling through a forest and he encounters obstacles and overcomes them. And I want obviously additional characters, okay? Make it a captivating story to keep readers interested and use basic English. Make it no more then. And I recommend somewhere 1500-2 thousand characters to begin with. So in this case, I'm going to do 1,500 characters, entered a number of main characters. So I want to include for instance, no more than four characters in the story, okay? And obviously, it's going to select characters relevant to the story, okay? Those characters can be animals, they can be other people. And you can specify those details if you wish, as well. But for now, I'm going to keep it pretty generic and let AI give me a let AI fill in those gaps for me. Okay. And then we continue on. I will be using the story script, so on, so on. So split the story into, and I want to split it into five parts, for instance. So that will allow for five short videos in which I can ultimately integrate them into one final product. And that's pretty much it. So let's go ahead and see what Chat GPT will give us. All right. So here we go. Scene one, the journey begins Narrator in a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day he decided to explore the enhanced forest nearby, packed some food and set off, excited and a bit nervous. Okay? So now that's the narrator. Here's Leo, and I didn't even pick a name. A, I picked it for me. I just gave it the idea. So Leo's looking at some trees. Wow, this place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. Then I'm not going to go through the whole thing, but just to give you an idea. So scene one, the journey begins. You can see the narrator and the main character Leo is speaking. Okay. Now, here we have them crossing a river Okay, so it looks like a second character was added named Mia. So she's a clever girl from his village. She just happened to be there. So that's cool. They come across a second character. And then the storm approaches. There's a storm. So that's one of the obstacles, great. This is already looking really good. You have a narrator, and then you have two characters. Then we add a third character. By the time we get to scene four, and this is interesting because Ben says, in this case, I was hoping to find someone. So it's not like a character that just pops up pops up in the story. Without reason. There's context to it. Then we go down here, and I think that's sufficient. We have three characters plus a narrator, that's sufficient. And honestly, it's good enough for what we're trying to do. So we're going to go ahead with this. We're going to take the five scenes that we have here. Seems like a pretty cool story. And I think applicable to all ages, I may seem tailored to the younger generation, but I'm pretty sure granted the final look of it, it probably will be relevant to all ages. Anyone can watch this video and benefit, maybe learn a moral story or two. So this is great. Looks to be a story of commitment, friendship, you know, resilience, for instance. So this is really good. Going to go ahead with this and proceed forward. So at this point, what I recommend is you copy the scenes and you drop it in either Google Docs or Microsoft Word. So for now, I'm just going to copy all of this and put it in Microsoft Word. And this is a good way to itemize your scenes. When we get into the video animation portion of the course, you'll see that putting it in Microsoft Word becomes helpful, just a bit more organized. So I'm going to open up Microsoft Word right now. Once you have Microsoft Word open, we're just going to go ahead and paste it. And we're basically going to keep the same style. Okay? So this is looking good. And then you can just make sure you save this file for future reference. Now, at this point, we've developed the script for the story, which is a great step. And then the next step, essentially, will be to generate the images relevant to the different scenes and characters. And then we'll focus on taking those images and creating video scenes, video clips with them. We'll then add voiceover to those videos, and then we'll also do some lip syncing to make sure that the lips are aligned with the voiceover, and then finally integrate all the different scenes into one final product using either a Canva, or you can use an equivalent video editing program. At which point we'll have everything we need to compile our AI animated video and ultimately share it around as we wish. So stay tuned as we go through the next steps and build our video animation. 3. Designing Characters for Your Story Using Leonardo AI: Alright, so we're now at the point in time where we can actually start creating our characters. Now that we set the configuration in Leonardo AI, we can go ahead and look at the characters that we have in our story script and see if we can bring them to life. So the first one here, as you can see, the main character really is Leo. But we do have two other characters, really three, including the narrator. So we have Leo, Maya, Ben, and the narrator. Those are our four characters. We're going to start with Leo because he's the main character. As you recall, Leo is that young man. He's adventurous, and he's the one that starts exploring the forest, right? Then later he meets his new friends. So with the case of Leo and all the characters, Chet GBT did not provide any descriptions of their physical looks. So we're going to make all of that up, okay? So I'm going to identify Leo as a young man, adventurous. I'm going to pick a hair color. Let's go with something different. So I'll say dark red hair, for example, and I'll say between the ages of, like, 18 to 21 or maybe 18 to 20, for instance, okay? And that's it. Let's go ahead and generate images for our first character, the main character, which is Leo. So I'm going to go to Leon Aro AI. Okay, once I'm here, as aforementioned, I've already set all my configurations, I'm going to enter the following prompt, generate an image of a young, adventurous man with dark red hair, and you can say a medium build. So not too tall, not too short. And then any other features that you want to add, you can add that here. I think it's important to mention something like this that will be used in a three D animated video. Okay. And that's pretty much it for now. You don't want to mention the young man in any specific location. And then at this point, we're just going to add the age. His age is between, say, 18 to 20-years-old, and that's sufficient. So we don't want to mention any other details like where he is or what he's doing. We just want images of Leo in this case. So we're going to go ahead and click on Generate. And it takes a couple of seconds, and then it'll give you images of Leo. So here we have it, a few images of Leo, our main character for the story. I think something like this would probably be the best fit because it gives different angles, and it has, like, a main picture of the character. But it's always good practice when you're dealing with AI to try at least one or two times in addition to your first attempt. So we're going to go ahead and generate again, and it won't hurt. It's only going to give you more results and just more options to select from so you can pick your best bet. Alright, so here's a few other options. This one is pretty good also. I like this one, as well. So that one looks pretty good. We might actually end up going with this one. But again, it's always good to just try one or two more times, so we're gonna try once more. Alright. So we have another option here. So this is yet another option. So we can either go, for instance, with this one or we can go with this one. Or we can go with this one. I think these are probably the three best that we've generated. So I'm going to go ahead and download all three for now and then later make a determination as to which one I want. And there's nothing wrong with that. You can also select this one, actually, too. This one is not too bad. So let's go ahead and take it and later reassess. But I like this one because it shows full body. In any case, we'll make those decisions later. Let's just grab them for now. So we'll download the ones that we want. We'll organize them in a folder, and we'll move on to the next character. Okay, great. So the next character is Maya. Let's go back to the story script. So Maya is known to be a clever girl in the story, okay? So the ages of all the characters are meant to be somewhere in the young adult range. So again, somewhere between the ages of 18 to 20 is sufficient for the story here. So, Maya is someone who seems happy, she's clever, and so on. So we're going to, again, identify some specific features of how she looks like. And we're gonna create May as a character. So let's go back. And I can just fill in the details here, so I can just kind of change a few things. So generate an image of a young clever. And this time, I'm gonna say woman. And this time, I'm going to say instead of dark red hair, I suppose, I'll say dark blonde hair. We can keep a medium build that's fine that will be used in a three d animated video. We can keep all that the same. And we're just going to say her age is 18-20-years-old. So as you can see, I just changed a couple of things for our next character. We're just going to go ahead and see what it gives us. Alright, so there we go. So here is an image of Maya. This one is pretty good. Let's take a look at some alternative. So let's try running again. Again, it's a good idea to do at least two or three times for each character. So we're going to go ahead and give it another attempt. Alright. So we have another option here. I think out of these, probably this might be okay. Maybe this one. So you don't just want the face to show. You want sort of a mixture of close up and full body as much as possible. So this one actually is fairly ideal. We're going to go ahead and just give it one more shot. Okay? And here's another option for us. So I think this one's pretty good. Let's go ahead and download this one. And again, later we'll select our options. Later we'll select our final choice. I thought this one was excellent. So we're going to go ahead with that. And perhaps this one. Okay, so that should suffice for Maya. So now we have one more character, plus the narrator. So let's go back to our script. Alright, so we have Ben, and Ben seems to be someone who is brave. He's in a cave, right? He's facing a challenge in a cave. There's a wild animal in here. He seems to be someone who can take on a challenge in a cave. So that's a big deal. Not anyone can do that, right? So, in that case, let's go ahead and make Ben someone brave. So generate an image of a young, brave man with and we're just going to say with brown hair. And we're gonna say a tall build. So we're gonna make him tall, just so he can be differentiated from Leo. That will be used in a three day animated video. That's all the same. And we're just going to say his age is 18-20-years-old, and we're gonna go ahead and generate that. Alright, so we just completed the generation of Ben and here we are. This seems to be a pretty cool image of Ben. Definitely a taller build. He looks like he would be fit to take on a challenge in a cave. So I think this already is good, but we're going to go ahead and try to generate one more. There's also some close ups of him. So let's go ahead and try one more here. Alright, here we go. So I kind of like this one. I think it might fit the script a little better. But anyway, let's go ahead and download this and we'll also take some of the other ones that we have here. So I think that's not the proper attire for someone in a forest, so we're not going to go with that. So you do need to use some common sense, obviously when you're doing this. So now that we have all of those images for our three main characters, we're going to go ahead and try to get an image for our narrator. So going back to the story script, the narrator can be really anyone whom you identify. And honestly, the narrator does not have to be shown. But for the purpose of the video animation that I'm looking to create, I do want to show the narrator. I think it would be pretty cool. So I'm going to go ahead and just make it a specific character. So I'm going to choosean older character this time. So I'm going to say generate an image. So say middle aged man. And we're going to say with light brown hair, that will be used, and you're going to specify as a narrator in a three D animated video. And his age is between, in this case, we're going to say 40 to 45. And we're going to go ahead and generate this. All right. There we go. So here we have a narrator, and this might work good enough. So this is pretty good example. I can go with this, for instance, as our narrator, or I can go with this one as well. One of these should do the job. Perfect. All right, so that's how you create the images for your main characters. What you want to do at this point is take all of those files and organize them in a folder, and I'll show you the final look of that, and then we'll start taking the next steps to implement these images to the video generation programs that will be integrating. 4. Creating Story Scene Images with Consistent Character References: Next step is prior to getting into the video generation portion of the course, we need to take all the images that we've generated for all the characters and organize them into separate folders. This is just a means of organization. And once we do that, we're going to focus on developing consistent character scenes. So what does that mean? That basically means creating images of the scenes from the story. So let's talk about that in a second. But first of all, let's just take each of these images for each character and put them in a correct folder. So for the narrator, I have two images. I'm just going to copy those two and just drop them in here. I have so I have four images for Leo. And then for Ben, three images here, and the remaining are Maya. Okay, perfect. So all the images are now in the designated folders. Let's start with Ben. And what I want to do is basically select the top one that I'm going to use. So you just want to do a quick assessment and see which one fits best. You also want to consider which one is the one with the least amount of flaws. So if you see anything out of line, it's probably not the best one to select from. For instance, the face here looks a little incomplete, looks a little disfigured here. So I'm probably not going to go with this one. I think out of the three, probably going to select this one right here. This one seems to be most wholesome. So that will probably be sufficient. We'll try it out. So I'm just going to select I'm just going to say Ben one. I'm just going to give it a name. So we're going to go to the next one. We're just going to do the same for all of them. So for Leo's, say out of all of these, this is probably the most fitting, probably the best one that we have. So I'm going to go with that one. So we're gonna call it Leo one. Then we're going to go to Mayo. Okay. And I suppose out of these three, probably maybe this one, I'm gonna I don't think I'm gonna go with this one. This is probably good for I think I'll go with this one right here. Probably the best image of all of them. And also the attire that she's wearing is probably most appropriate for, like, exploration. So we'll go with that one. Okay, so we're gonna call this Maya one and then the narrator. So I only have two images for a narrator, so I just got to pick between both of them. And I think I'll go with. Let's go with this one. This one is a little bit more informal, I would say. We have these two images here, and I think I'm going to go with this one. I think as a narrator, this will probably fit a little better. It's a tiny bit more formal. So we'll go with that. So we'll call this Narrator? One. Perfect. Alright, so I have the images, the selected images for each of them. Now, what we need to do is look at the story script real quick. And so what you want to perceive is that we're going to be developing images for each scene. For example, let's look at the first scene. We'll start there. So on the first scene, what characters do I have? I have the narrator and then I have Leo. So we'll start with the very first one. The narrator. So in a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of an adventure. Okay? One day he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off excited and a bit nervous. Okay, so I'm going to start with this one. Now, you're going to need an image for each part of the scene as well, right? So we're going to start with this. I think the easiest way to do it is just copy, and we're going to open up so we're going to copy that. Then we're going to open up Leonardo AI. And once we get here, what you want to do before anything is click on this button here. And once you click on that, you're going to select character reference. Now, I have a premium account with Leonardo AI. It's like ten bucks a month or 12 bucks a month, and it allows me to access these features. So you can always get a trial version or try it out for one month if you want to use this character reference feature, and if not, there are other methods to do it, but I recommend using this feature in Leonardo AI fairly cheap. And honestly, for the result that you're getting out from this course, it's definitely worth it. So I'm going to go ahead and click on Character reference, and I'm going to upload an image to get started. And then once I'm in the folder of interest, I'm going to click on narrator, and then I'll click on the image that I want. So you want to select the image because you want to submit a prompt that will generate an image based on the attached original image of the character. So I'm going to go ahead and paste this. So I want to say, give me an image of the scene of the attached narrator. Based on the following words that he will speak. Okay, we're just going to give this a shot and see what happens. Don't know what to expect, but that's the beauty of utilizing AI. Now, if this is a little too much of a prompt, we can cut it down. Alright, here we go. So we have an narrator in a forced setting. And he's in a position where he can talk about, for example, the forest, looks like he has food in his ants. I think some of these might work. This looks pretty good. You know, let's go ahead and generate another one. But to have the narrator in the same scene where the characters will essentially play their role isn't a bad idea. So it sets the tone, essentially. So we're going to go ahead and pick one of these. Let's see which one fits best. Alright. So this actually might be good. I think I'm going to end up probably using this just to start off, so the narrator perhaps can start off speaking over this background. So I'm going to go ahead and download that. We can have the narrator speak in the area as well, so I'm going to go ahead and download that. We're going to pick some other ones that we think are relevant. So we can kind of show different scenes. This wouldn't be bad. Now, we need to be consistent, remember, in terms of look and attire and all of that. So it's not a bad idea to select different ones. And then ultimately we'll gather and see which ones are most consistent. You have to kind of play around with it. Sometimes you need to generate a few times until you get the correct number of scenes. So we want to make sure that we gather as many consistent character scenes as possible. So it's a good idea to do a few generations, generate a number of images, and then pick between the best ones. Okay, so we have a couple of more here. I think this one is pretty good. We could probably make use of that. And again, later we'll select and see which one fits best. Maybe I'll just do one more and then we'll proceed on to the next scene. So that should be sufficient, especially if it's just perhaps like one line of one or two lines of the narrator speaking. So that's not going to take much time in the video generation. All right, see what we got here. Okay. So this one might be good maybe to show Leo in the background. Looks like a person who's walking back there, so it kind of gives an illustration of someone walking into a forest. That might work pretty well. Let's go with that. Alright, so we're gonna play around with this later on during the video generation section. For now, let's move on to the next scene. So the next part of the scene is when Leo is looking at some trees and he says, Wow, this place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. So I'm going to go ahead and copy this, and this is probably the easiest way to get your appropriate images. You're giving the AI the appropriate information. So here I'm going to say, we're just going to modify this a little bit. And we're going to say, give me an image of the scene of the attached character, based on the following words that he will speak. Okay, now, obviously, I need to change the image here, so I'm going to go ahead and close this out and select a different image. So I'm going to go to character reference again. I'm going to upload a new image. And I'm going to go to animated story Images here and go to Leo, and we selected Leo one. So we're going to go ahead and drop that in there. So I want an image of the scene of the attached character based on the following words. That he will speak. Looking at the trees. Wow, this place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. Let's generate. So, AI should provide an image of Leo looking at trees in the forest and with an amused face. That's the expectation. Alright, so he looks way too serious, so we're definitely going to alter that. Okay, give me an image of the scene of the attached character based on the following words that he will speak, make him look happy and excited. And let's go ahead and generate that. Alright? So, this looks a little better. So here we have Leo in the forest. He looks way too serious there. Wait serious still pretty serious. But at least he's looking at trees here, so we may be able to use that. Let's download this. And we're going to try something else, okay? Give an image of the scene of the attached character based on the following words that he will speak, make him look happy and excited while he is looking up at the trees. So we just added some more information there. Alright, let's see what we got. So still a pretty serious face. We're gonna add something. Give him a smile. So just simply by mentioning that, hopefully, it will give us a happier Leo, because right now he looks way too serious. You can't blame him. He's in the forest all alone, but still we want him to be somewhat happy. Alright. Alright, so it's been a little challenging to try to get a smile out of this guy. So the cool thing is we have another program called lip sync that will help facilitate that a little better. So we're going to download some images, and then later on, we'll worry about getting them to smile a little more or kind of demonstrate a happier mood. So remember, you want to also pick clothing that matches what we've been doing. So it's a good idea to select different ones, make sure the clothing is consistent throughout the story. So I'm going to generate probably one or two more of these and move on to the next character. Alright, he looks a little bit happier there, so I can take this one right here. And let's move on. Okay, so that will suffice for now. We're gonna go on to the next scene, or I should say the next part of the scene. So again, it's the narrator. So let's go ahead and bring the narrator back in. Alright, so we're gonna replace all of this. The narrator's gonna say as Leo walked deeper into the forest, he felt a sense of wonder, but he didn't know what challenges lie ahead. Okay. So I'll do something relevant there. And we're going to say, again, you don't have to you can just say attached character. That's fine. So we're going to go ahead and grab that, get the narrator back in. Now, if you want, you can do all the narrator once first and go back and do all the Leo once next and then the Ben ones after or the Mayo ones. It's your choice as to how you want to go about generating all of these. Okay, so here I have the narrator kind of going deeper into the woods. So we're going to get one of these where the narrator could kind of talk over it. But I also would like to grab Leo. So what I want to do is I want to say the following because for this specific line, it would be nice to show the narrator talking at first and then kind of transition into Leo himself walking deeper into the forest. So if you get what I mean, let's go ahead and do it. Give me an image of the scene of the attached character based on the following words. And this time, we're going to switch this up again, and we're going to select Leo once more to get him walking deeper into the forest. Okay. So this should be sufficient to grab a few images of Leo walking deeper into the forest. And as you can see, you will have to gather a fair amount of images because you're going to generate a video, right? So you want to make sure that you grab a good amount, make them consistent. Once you have a folder, a collection of all the images, then you're good to go. We want to show him walking deeper. I mean, this one is not going to work because it has two of him, so we're going to delete that one. Sometimes AI will do that. We want him to kind of walk deeper into the forest. So I don't like how these came out. What we're going to do is we're going to show instead of mentioning what he's going to say, what we can say is, give me an image of the scene of the attached character based on the following, or you can say based on him walking into a deep forest or walking deeper into a forest. And it's just as simple as that. We can try and see what that will give us. Alright, much better, much, much better. So, this looks pretty neat. He's walking a little deeper into the forest. Our character, Leo is very serious, that's for sure. Now, what I can do is, what if I want to get an image of him walking into? So, meaning sort of get a not an image of his front view, but his back view. Showing a back view of him, not a front view, but a back view. There we go. So that's a lot better. He has his bookbag. He's walking a little bit deeper into the forest. I'll grab one of these. Let me see if any of the other ones came out good. Here he's walking with someone, so that's not the best. I think this one was actually really good. So we're gonna stick with that one right here. Okay, awesome. Yeah, this looks good. Walking deeper into the forest. Alright, so that essentially completes one full scene for us. We have all the image necessary for one scene. In the next video lesson, I'll cover one more scene. Since there's five scenes, I'm not going to go through generating the images for all of them, but I will cover one more scene, perhaps the very next one. And then afterwards, once we have all the images for all the scenes, for all the characters, then we'll focus in on the video generation portion of the course. 5. Aligning Story Scene Images with Your Script for Visual Consistency: All right, so thus far, we have generated all the images for scene one. We generated images for each of the parts of the scene. So we generated images for the narrator speaking and Leo, the main character looking at trees. We're going to go to the next section. I showed you one method that you can use to implement and capture your images, which is to just grab the script text itself and use it in your prompt for Leonardo AI. The other approach is to actually give it more specifics on each line. So here, let's do that for scene number two, where we add a little bit more specifics. So Scene number two, the river crossing. So this is a scene where the main character will cross a river and initially he has some trouble doing that. So let's go ahead and generate images for each of these lines. Now, the first line here is a narrator. Speaking, after a while, Leo reached a wide river. The water rushed quickly, and he has no bridge. So I can simply copy this. But the other method that I want to show you is you can prompt it as follows. Give me an image of the narrator or the attached image or the attached character in the image. Behind a river showing that water is rushing in quickly. So we can do something like that. So let's go ahead and go to Leonardo AI. And we already have the narrator's image here, so we're going to say, give me an image of the scene of the attached character. And we're going to say behind a river that is flowing. And that should suffice. So you just want to give a little bit more description here. Alright, so so here are some pretty good ones. Looks pretty good. Kind of like this one, the attire kind of matches all the previous ones. So I might go with this one for now. This one might be okay, too. Alright, great. So let's move on to the next one. So the next one is Leo says in a frustrated manner, how will I get across? Okay? Because he's trying to cross over a river. Okay. So figure, for instance, this is a river and he wants to cross over it. Okay? So how is he going to cross over the river? Well, this is what we're going to do. So now, give me an image of the attached character. Being frustrated and wondering how he's going to cross over the river. And we're going to change the character so you can actually drop this down, click on this right here and select Leo. And we're gonna go ahead and generate. So here is Leo, but this is Leo more so in the water. I don't like it. So what we're going to say is give me an image of the attached character being frustrated and wondering how he's going to cross over the river, have him stand next to the river. So that gives a little bit more clarity. So we're not getting the right image, so we're going to add a little bit more. So we're going to reword this a little bit and say, give me an image of the attached character being frustrated on how he's going to cross over a river that does not have a bridge. Okay, so let's give that a shot. A lot of these are a little bit too close up, so we're going to say show him from a distance. And as you can see, the art of persuasion is very relevant when we're dealing with image generation as well. You want to make sure that you keep prompting and your prompt. You got to continue perfecting until you get the right image that you're looking for. 6. Converting Static Images into Animated Videos with Luma Dream Machine: Alright. Well, we've reached a point in time where we can do our video generation with the images that we've essentially retrieved by using Leonardo AI. So what we're going to do is take those images and create video clips using Lumaabs Dream Machine. So Luma labs, they released this app called Dream Machine. This program. It's very powerful. Basically add video features to an image. So this is really cool, and we're going to go ahead and get started with this right now once you've arrive to the dream machine site, and I'll obviously provide the link to this. So we're going to go ahead and click on TryNw. Once you click on TryNw it's going to have you login. You can log in simply with your Google or email. So as soon as I log in, I see the prompt box right here, and you can basically add text or an image, or you can do both. In our case, we're going to do both because what we're going to do is attach an image and then prompt what we want to do with that image. What we're going to do is generate a couple of small videos with images that we've collected. Now, we'll start with scene one and then move on to other scenes. We're going to spend a little time on doing this and ultimately for the best interest of your final video. So let's go ahead and get started. So the first line here says, In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. So this is the narrator speaking. We're just going to start with this. Now, the way I'm going about with my video, my final video is I actually want to include a couple of clips for longer sentences like this or for longer statements like this. So here you have three sentences, right? Okay? So we're going to go ahead and implement that. So in this case, what we're going to do is we're going to copy this first line that the narrator spoke, and then I'm going to attach an image over the words in the prompt. And I'm going to show you exactly how to do this right now. So let's go ahead and go to Dream Machine. Now, I'm just going to paste this in here for now. I'll refer back to this in a second. So we'll actually start with this right here first. In this case, what I'm going to say is calm and peaceful. So we're going to go ahead and just start with a very simple prompt for our first scene. So in this case, we're going to go to scene one, and then I'm going to click on one dot one, which is just an image of the village. And then, again, I want just a calm and piece setting of the village. That's it. So you can choose an enhanced prompt feature here if you want it to enhance the prompt for you. However, that's completely optional. You can also loop, but that's not necessary for this case. So let's go ahead and generate our very first scene. A. Now when you generate any video using an image, it does fall into the queue. So basically, what it's doing is it goes into the dream machine server, and then the dream machine server is working in the background. So you're going to want to give that some time. I find that the best time to do this if you're in Easter standard time, for instance, you're going to want to do this late at night. Depends where you are in the world, but just got to kind of shoot your luck. In any case, if you wanted to get a paid subscription, it will move a lot faster. But again, I always advocate for free resources. So that was actually pretty quick. It's already done. Let's go ahead and take a look at it. Okay, beautiful. So this is amazing. We're gonna start off with something like this, a calm and peaceful setting of the village. Now, if we wanted to, we can add, like, birds around or something like that, but I think this is five. So we're gonna go ahead with this, and you can download it when you're ready if you feel like it's good enough, if it's what you want. And this is just beautiful. The quality is great. So you will have this Luma watermark at the top there, but that is something that we can easily remove. So don't worry about that. I'll show you how to remove the watermark later on. Okay, so now we're going to continue on with the next part of the scene. So in this case, we're going to take what the narrator stated and the narrator says. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. So I'm going to go ahead and grab my next image. That's the one where the narrator is basically behind the village scene. So I'm going to say, the narrator in the image says, Okay, and we're going to try this out. So I haven't tried a situation where a narrator speaks, and I put it in quotes. But let's see what happens when we do this. Now, it may not be perfect, but we're going to go ahead and shoot our shot and see what it generates. Now, one of the things we're aiming for is lip syncing. What that means is we want the text in the video script to match what the person is saying in the video, whatever character we choose, including the narrator. So that's a little bit of a challenge to get off the bat using a program like Dream Machine. So we may have to use an additional program to lip sync, which I'll introduce later on in the course. But for now, let's allow this to finish it's queuing. Oh, and there we go. That was pretty fast. So here we have I don't like this one, and it's good that we look at an example that doesn't work. So here he's actually moving away that's not good. So I'm going to revise this. It's an iterative process. So you want to see what works and what doesn't. So we're definitely going to need to regenerate this. Okay? So I actually don't like it. I'm going to delete it. I'll try again. In this case, I'm going to say the character stands still and speaks and moves his lips. That's it. So that's sufficient. Let's see if that works for us because I don't want him to move. I want him to stand still. I just want him to move his lips because he's a narrator. We'll give that a try. Let's put that in the queue. Alright, so that finished, let's go ahead and try next one. So the next part, we're still on the narrator part. We're going to say one day we're going to say one day he decided to explore the Enchanted Forest nearby. So let's give that a shot. This one is gonna be a little interesting. So here we pace this, and we're going to say the close up character. Stands still and moves his lips. The character in the back walks slowly into slowly into the forest. Okay, and let's see what that gives us. Alright, so our video is complete. So let's go back and take a look at what's next. Alright, so he packed some food and set off excited and a bit nervous. So this whole part right here can essentially fit well with this one video. We can make that work. Now, the next part is Leo. He's looking at the trees, and he says, Wow, this place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. So let's give that a shot. We're going to go ahead and open this up, and then we're basically just going to have Leo, again, just, you know, speaking. So we're going to say the character is excited. He stands still and moves his lips while talking. That's it. While talking, and that's it, just as simple as that. Because, I mean, here in this part of the script, all that's happening is that he just shows some excitement. He's looking at trees. Wow this place is amazing. So maybe we can even have him look up. I can try regenerating and just in this case, have him look up. But even if he's not looking up, I think it's sufficient. Okay, we can try that, though. So in the meantime, we're going to try again with that same image while that's generating. And I'm going to say, character is looking up at trees. He's standing still and his lips are moving as he talks. So let's try that as well. So we'll try two prompts to see which one comes out better, and that's completely fine. You can have more than one video being cued at the same time. It might take a little longer, but in any case, it's good to try more than one prompt. As we've done with Leonardo AI, it's kind of a similar situation except we're not dealing with images. Now we're dealing with videos. Okay, so we also want to do one more with the narrator, where it states as Leo walked deeper into the forest, he felt a sense of wonder, but he didn't know what challenges lay ahead. So we want the narrator again talking. So this is how you kind of want to start cueing your videos. You can cue more than one and get them going. So we have another one here before we go forward with the narrator with Leo, basically also speaking. And again, it's kind of good to try a few of them. And again, this could be a very similar prompt where we can say the characters looking up Okay? At the trees, he's standing still and his lips are moving as he talks. So we're going to try that one as well. Now, as you can see, if I click this, it does say you've reached your limit of two simultaneous generations, so you will have to wait until these are done before you generate the next one. So we'll go ahead and wait on that. And in the next video lesson, I'll go through more examples. We'll complete this scene and move on to the next scene and generate more videos. 7. Generating Video Scenes from Your Story Images – Part 1: Go ahead. We're going to start with scene three and proceed on. This is where the storm approaches. So I'm going to click here, go to scene three. I'm going to make this smaller as well, but I do want to see large icons. It starts with the rafts finished. Leo and Maya cross the river. We're going to start here. The narrators going to speak behind us. I'm simply going to grab this one, and I'm just going to say, the raft the raft flows down the river. Generate that. Okay, allow that to go, and then we're going to move on to dark clouds rolling in. So it's just the narrator here. He basically speaks gently and does not move his body. Okay, so we're going to run those two simultaneously. And then we're also going to prepare the third one, which is Mayo's worried, where she says we need to find shelter fast. So that's this next one right here. Her face is worried, and she speaks gently. So you want to use this word gently because, again, you don't want the characters to overreact. So here's the raft flowing down the river. That one looks like it came out really good. We'll go with that. This is the narrator. He's not talking much, but I think it will suffice because we're going to add that lip sync. Okay, so let's move on. Okay, so Leo then talks, and he says, Determine. He's determined and he says, follow me. I see a cave over. Okay, so we're going to say he points at the cave Okay. And this is basically Maya worried and she's supposed to speak gently, but again, we can fix that with the lip syncing. Okay? So here he's pointing at the cave. We're going to go down. And in this case, we're going to talk about in this case, we're going to highlight the narrator, where he talks while inside the cave. Let's run that. Okay, so that's scene three. As I mentioned, I'd be going a lot quicker. So here he's going to point at the cave. I don't like it, but at least we can start by showing his hand being raised up. So we may want to regenerate that. Okay? So I'm going to go ahead and just regenerate it right now real quick. Again, if you don't like something, you can just retry again. So he looks back at the cave, then points at it. And we're going to say with his right hand, not his left because they used his left. So let's see how that comes out this time. It's a little bit more specific. And then here, it talks while inside the cave. That's not going to work because he's moving. And again, I forgot to mention that we don't want him to move. So the character stands still and does not move in the cave. Okay, so I'm just doing some refinement right now, which is okay. It's part of the process, as you've seen, so we're going to go ahead and rerun that. All right. So the next part is they ran to the cave where they met Ben, a brave boy who had also sought refuge. Okay, first, let's take a quick look at this one. That looks somewhat better, but the hand, not so much. Okay, we could probably get it to a point where it stops right here, right at that point before his finger goes all wacky. In any case, I think that's fine for now. We can make use of that. Okay, so next, this part right here zooms in on the narrator, where the character stands still and does not move in the cave. Okay. So they ran to the cave where they met Ben, a brave boy who had also sought refuge. So here we don't show Ben. Okay? So I'm going to add one more thing to this prompt. He talks while in the cave. I'm just going to add that part to this one image here. I'm going to go ahead and run that. All right. So here we have the narrator moving his lips more, which is a lot better. So we could probably use that. All right. Great. So that completes our scene three. We're going to go ahead and move on to scene four. 8. Generating Video Scenes from Your Story Images – Part 2: So for scene four, it's the challenge inside the cave where they meet Ben and then they encounter a wild animal. So let's go ahead and proceed with generating the video clips for scene four using the images that we've generated. So the first one here is going to be Ben, and this is the part where Ben basically says that he was hoping to find someone, and he says there's a wild animal in here. Okay. So here we're going to say he is grinning and gives a warning. Let's see what that gives us. While it's generating that, let's move on to the next part, which shows the wild animal. We're just going to show a wolf looks around in the cave. Okay, so that's our second one. Next, we have Maya scared, asking, what should we do? So let's go ahead and generate that. So this is Maya now. The girl is scared in the cave and talks The characters in the back are calm. We're just going to say they're calm. Alright, well, that's. Let's see what happens here. So this one isn't good because this character just comes out of nowhere. We don't want another character. Meanwhile, this one came out great, and we even have someone in the back there seeing the animal, which is perfect. This one came out really good, really good. All right, so I want to go back here and regenerate that. Again. It's all part of the process. So I'm going to click on Ben's image again. I'm going to say he's grinning and gives a warning. There's no one else in the image besides him. So no one else is in here. And that's just to eliminate the potential for the AI model to include another character in there. All right. So here Alright, so here is Maya scared. This is pretty good, at least for the first 3 seconds. It's really good. Okay. So it starts getting all wacky after 3 seconds or so. But that's fine because this is a really short statement. It's my saying, What should we do? So that's a quick one. What should we do? Yeah, that will definitely work. Okay. Good enough. All right. And then here we have oh, yeah, this is much better. Again, just in the beginning where he says, I was hoping to find someone. Perfect. This is looking really good. All right. So Leo then says, we'll work together. All right, so here here is where he's confident and he says, we'll work together, we can scare it away. So the character in the front has a brave face, and the characters in the back are calm and collected. Okay? So we'll use that. Let's go ahead and run it. So now, these images are based on the modifications that we made in Canva. Some of these images I took, as you recall, polish them, fine tuned them, refine them. Okay, so let's let that run, and then we have one more. Maybe two more for our narrator here. So we have two more. One is where the three friends are gathering sticks, and then the other one. The last one for this scene is where the wolf runs out of the cave. Okay, so the three friends gathered sticks and made noise. The three characters throw sticks at the ground in an attempt to make noise. And let's run that. Okay, so as that's running, we also want to get the wild animal to run out of the cave. So that's this image right here for underscore. Okay, we're going to say the wolf slowly. And we don't want to show the wolf just zooming out, so the wolf slowly runs out of the cave. Okay, let's run that, as well. So let's see what happens here. Let's see if this is good enough. So they're walking with the sticks. This might be okay. I mean, it just shows them they gather together, and then they're gonna make noise. So that might be okay. They don't necessarily have to show them throwing the ss. It looks like they're getting ready to throw sticks on the ground, and that might work. This might be perfect. Alright, great. I can't wait to see the final product here. So here's the wolf slowly running out of the cave. Let's take a look at how that one comes out. Alright, so that's a little too slow. Let's speed that up a little bit. So we're going to say let's just try to say the wolf runs out of the cave. Maybe saying mentioning slow is a little too slow. So the wolf runs out of the cave, and let's see what that gives us. Alright, so here we have the wolf running out of the cave. Still fairly slow. So it's still pretty slow. We can always speed it up. So we can always speed this up in video editing. So I think it should be fine for now. All right. Moving on, and it is a little faster than this one. Okay. So let's go ahead and look at scene five next. 9. Generating Video Scenes from Your Story Images – Part 3: Let's go ahead and start the generation. So we're going to go to scene five. The first one is just showing that the storm has passed. So we're going to say the sun comes out and shines over the river. Okay, so as you recall, this is just that one image that shows dark clouds leaving. Okay, so let that generate. Next, we're going to show Leo Maya and Ben emerging from the cave, so they're basically leaving the cave. So let's go ahead and click on the next one. Let me go ahead and increase the size on that. So this one we just did. This is one where they're leaving the cave. We have two of them. So I think for this one, I'm going to show an end frame because I think they fit well together. Okay. So here I want to say they leave they walk forward and leave the cave together. Okay. So let's generate that. And this is beautiful right here. Yep. So the sun shines over the river. Amazing. Okay. Awesome. So moving on, that one had an end frame to it. So the next part is where we show Leo, for instance, happy. And basically, he says, We did it. This is the best adventure ever. So so the character is relaxing and relieved. He talks as his mouth moves. Okay? So just an extra feature there. Let's see what that gives us. In the meantime, let's take a look at what happens here. So we can use some of this, but I think we're going to need to regenerate it. We can cut off, like, for instance, from here, I mean, this part looks good. But the first half didn't come out well, so we're gonna probably need to regenerate that. So I'm going to click on this, say, they walk forward and leave the cave together. And let's take a look at this one right here. So this is pretty good. Alright, great. So this is him, kind of, like, happy, relieved, relaxing. So, that's good. This is like we did it. This was the best adventure ever. We could definitely make use of that. So in the meantime, we're gonna go ahead and also generate an image for this one, where they walk forward and leave the cave together just to have more than one. So this is really good. Nice. I don't really like how his hair he grows hair out of nowhere. But again, we can use the clip prior to. So that should be good enough. I mean, I have another one here just in case, and I'll show you how to do all that later. Alright, so we're moving on. Now we're gonna show Maya, where she smiles and says, and we made great friends. So that's this right here. She smiles and talks While relieved. Okay, see how that comes out. So here's another one that we just generated as well. Okay, so again, we can use a part of this, probably. Alright, so we're going to go ahead and grab Maya here, where she says and we made great friends. So here she is smiling and relieved. So let's generate that. In the meantime, let's go ahead and grab Ben's image where he's excited and he tells and he says, Let's tell everyone about our adventure. So that's Ben right here. Okay, so here he is excited and relieved. Okay, so we want kind of a balance of excitement and relief. Okay, so here. So, okay, so I don't know if I don't really want her to drink anything. That's not what I prompted, so She is smiling and looking forward. That's it. Let's try that again. So, again, if it doesn't come out perfectly, you're gonna want to regen. It's good to have more than one attempt. So we're gonna go ahead and put that in the queue. But Alright, so here is Ven excited and relieved. I think this one came out good for the first couple of seconds and it should be sufficient. Let's tell everyone about our adventure. This is good. Let's tell everyone about our adventure. Yeah, that's gonna come out really good. Alright, so we're getting really close. So now the narrator talks about the three friends returning to the village, knowing that they could face anything together. Their bond would last a lifetime. So that's near the end here. We're going to grab some more of these showing how happy they are. So we're just going to go ahead and click on this. Some of these now. What's interesting is for some of these, you don't even have to say anything. You could just literally run it, and the AI will give its best guess based on the image as to what you're trying to do. So let's try some of those. We haven't done any of those yet. We're going to do this one as well. In the meantime, let's take a look at this. So this is Maya. Okay, we could probably use, like, the first 2 seconds of that where it says where she says we made great friends. Yep, that could work. Alright. And, um Okay, so I don't know if I like that, but no sometimes you really have to give a prompt here. So we're going to go back and say he raises his hands in victory. So let's try that. And then here, not bad. She starts losing the look of her original character after two or 3 seconds. So you want to make sure that you only grab like that first 2 seconds and use that. So the beginning part is fine, and that was without a prompt. So let's also do Bens. So Ben had one over here. Okay, so here we're just going to say nothing. Let's just run it and see what it gives us. Okay, so here, his hand is not good. I mean, that first second is fine, but then after that. So, again, you might need to regenerate once more. So he raises his hands And makes a fist with both hands in victory. Once more, we will generate this image. Okay, so let that run. And this one, I think that's fine for the beginning part. So the very beginning is fine. Okay. And then we're reaching the end here. So now we're just gonna grab the narrator. So the narrator, the character, again, same thing, stands still and talks as he's in the village. So let's run that. And we're getting pretty close to completion here. Okay. So we could probably use, like, bits and pieces of these play around with it. Alright. So now what we want to just do is show this last scene here after the narrator speaks and just show them here, let's say, at the since it's talking about three friends returning to the village, they talk about how they can face anything together. We can say something like this. The three characters Hi five each other. So I'm not sure how that's gonna come out. But we can also try a different thing. But we can also try a different thing, and we can say the three characters hug each other. They do a group hug, so we can try more than one approach and see what comes out best. So here we're going to say the three characters to a group hug. Okay? And let's try those two and see if one of them come out good. So here is the one that we just generated with the narrator. Okay. So we can start with the narrator saying the three friends return to the village, and that should be okay. Okay. So here are the characters walking towards the village. Okay, it doesn't so it doesn't show them high fving each other, but they're just walking towards the village. And this is them. I was trying to see if they can do a group hug. It looks like they're a little closer. Now, I want Ben to be he's taller than the other ones, so let me also try asking if they can make him a little taller, that one character at the end. So they do a group hug. The character all the way to the right is taller than the other two, because Ben was designed to be a taller character. So let's see if the AI model of Dream Machine is intelligent enough to do that for us. But ultimately, we're reaching the end here. We have just about our images just about all our video clips for all the images that we were looking to generate for our animated video. And the goal would be to compile all of these next, do some voice over, and proceed on. So here's a video of them. You have been a tiny bit taller. So I think this is okay. I mean, it's good enough, you know, they're kind of walking together, walking back to the village. We can work on that, but the point being is it fits the narrative, and that's what's important. So with AI, it's not going to be perfect, but it should be sufficient. It should be good enough. And in some cases, it's great and cinematic. Some of these clips are amazing. I mean, just the fact that it's generated by AI is marvelous. So this is where we are. We've completed all the video. We've generated all the video clips for all five scenes, and we did it in somewhat of a timely manner. It didn't take that much time. As long as you have the images, video generation is actually fairly quick. So at this point, we're going to start getting our voiceovers. Four our video clips, then we're going to focus on lip syncing, and then ultimately put all of that together as one final video. 10. Creating High Quality Voiceovers for Your Characters Using Elevenlabs: So we've reached a very exciting point in our course where we're going to generate our voiceovers. So we're going to make our videos even more exciting by generating voiceovers that will complement our videos that we've generated. So we're going to use a tool called 11 Labs to do this. And basically, 11 Apps is a fairly new text to speech AI voice generator program. And this program works really well. What you can do is basically take script and essentially generate voices based on the text. So there's text to speech options and other options. So cool thing about 11 labs is it supports many languages, I believe, over 32 languages, and also there's a bunch of accents that you can select from. So for my specific story, I want to go with something that is sort of a British accent. That's the theme that I'm choosing for my specific story here. So what you need to do to proceed with the voiceovers is have your story script up so you can reference it, and then open up 11 labs dot IO go to the website, and then what we're going to do is we're going to try for free. But before I go there, I want to show you the pricing for 11 labs. Now, there is a free option, and that's the one we're going to be using now. As you know, I advocate for free resources all the time in my courses. So under the free option, you basically have ten K credits limit that gives you 10 minutes of voice generation. So what we're going to do is we're going to proceed. Now, if you wanted to, you can always select a $5 per month option and get up to 30 minutes. That said, let's go ahead and proceed. So we're going to click on Try for free. And then here you're going to sign up either with your Google account or you can continue with an email address. So I'm just going to do my Google. So we're at the point now where we can enter text to speech or we can even do speech to speech. So let me just open this up in full. Now, you can essentially just start entering in what you want generated. Alternatively, and under here, you can select what voice you want. So there's a bunch of different voices you can select from, okay? You can also, if you like, select a specific kind, right? Now, the other option is you can go to the library. So you can click on voices, and then when you're here, go to library. This will give you a lot more options. And then you can click on characters in animation, for instance. So all depends on what you're trying to do. Then you can select the one that you feel fits best. You can see there's a bunch of different kinds here. There's like a villain type, a mature American male character, and so on. High energy comic character, funny. So all depends on what you want to select, or you can search. So in my case, I want a narrator, so I'm going to start there. So here I'm selecting narrative and story, and under narrative and story, I want, for instance, an old male with a British accent. So let's go ahead and enter that in. That's going to give us some options. So I'm gonna go ahead and just listen to that. Once upon a time, in a quaint little village nestled among rolling hills and towering trees, there lived a curious boy named Oliver. So I like that one a lot, actually. You can't blame gravity for falling in love. That one is a little bit too echoish for me. Let's try one or two more. On every thorn, Delightful wisdom grows. That's pretty. In every real, a sweet instruction flows. Yeah. So you can select if you want a deeper voice, you know, what type of voice you want. This is a professional voice clone, so that looks good. Try one more. To bring anything into your life. Imagine that it's already there. It is not so important to know everything as to appreciate what we learn. So I think I'm going to go with Edward, the British narrator. On Everythorn Delightful wisdom and grows. In so let's go ahead and select this one. We're gonna click on AD and then once you click on AD, it basically adds it to your library, and then you can go ahead and click on US. It takes you back to the Text to Speech window. And that's it. And then you're pretty much gonna start entering in your story script. So we're going to start with the first one here, which is the narrator speaking. And then he says, In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off excited and a bit nervous. So let's go ahead and generate using Edward, the British narrator. So it takes a quick minute in a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off, excited and a bit nervous. Sounds perfect. Let's go ahead and download that. This is really exciting. I mean, I am enjoying this a lot. So now, what you want to do is, since you already have the narrator's voice up, go ahead and do all the ones for the narrator. You don't want to keep switching, right? So we'll do one character at a time. We're gonna go ahead and generate this. As Leo walked deeper into the forest, he felt a sense of wonder, but he didn't know what challenges lay ahead. Perfect. As Leo walked deeper into the forest, he felt a sense of what he felt a sense of wonder, but he didn't know what challenges lay ahead. That sounds excellent. And again, we're just going to do that for all of them. So the next one is for scene two. After a while, Leo reached a wide river. The water rushed quickly, and he saw no bridge. So it generates fairly quickly. After a while, Leo reached a wide river. The water rushed quickly, and he saw no bridge. Went. Alright, so we're just going to do that for the rest of them. So at this point, you just want to kind of go through and do this for the rest of them. So let me go ahead and do that for the narrator. Alright, so I just completed generating all the voiceovers for our narrator. And as you can see, our quota is still pretty high. We had ten K credit, and it's still up there over 8,900. So what we're going to do now is find our voice for our main character, Leo. So let's go ahead and find a voice that would make sense with his character. So we're going to click on voices again, go to library. And this time, what we're going to do is we're going to say a young Man, British accent, instead of narrative and story, we can click on characters in animation. And this one pops up. Let's see how this one sounds. Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit. I actually like it. Let's go with it. It's a little ***. Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit. Well, look at another one real quick. So let's try young man British accent. So here we have a young, aggressive, daring, highly energized British man. Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know. I'm not sure if that would match him. Let's look at one or two more. We have committed the golden rule to memory. Now. If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door. No. One may say the eternal mystery of the world is its Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know. So Antonio sounds okay, but I think the one that really matches him life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit. I think this one matches him a lot. So we're going to go ahead and capture this one. We're going to click on AD, and then we're going to click on US. And then, again, we're going to do the same thing, but this time we're going to do it for Leo. Okay? So here we're going to say, Wow, this place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside generate the speech. Wow. This place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. Yeah, this fits really well. This fits really well. So we're gonna go ahead and download that. And then, again, we're gonna do the same thing for all the ones for Leo. How will I get across? Alright, so let's go through the remaining ones here for Leo. Now, here's something that you can consider when you're generating your speech. For instance, I just generated for instance, I just generated this one where in scene four, Leo says, We'll work together. We can scare it away. Work together. We can scare it away. And he sounds pretty subtle. Sounds pretty calm. I want him to have a little bit more energy. So you can actually play around with that a little bit, so you can click on settings. And you can have more variable by modifying the stability. So we're going to increase that a little bit. And the similarity, you can also either increase or decrease, so you can kind of play around with that a little bit. And you can also exaggerate his style, so we're going to exaggerate it just a tiny bit, and we're going to try to regenerate the speech. Is fight or low. We'll work together. We can scare it away. Let's try that again. Fight or low. We'll work together. We can scare it away. So fatal. We'll work together. We can scare it away. So there's a little before and after it sounds a little funny, but it's not bad. So here's more stability. Similarity. Let's increase that a little more. You can exaggerate the style. Let's remove that for a second and try this again. We'll work together. We can scare it away. That sounds a lot better. So here, there's a lot more energy. Let's try to really exaggerate. So they're saying over 50% may lead to instability. We'll work together. We can scare it away. Okay. So you can exaggerate a little bit. Again. We'll do it without the exaggeration. We'll work together. We can scare it away. All right. And then you just select whichever one you want best. You can generate a few times. We'll work together. The best. We can scare it away. Okay, so that sounds pretty good. I'm gonna go ahead and download. Alright, so now that I'm done with Leo's voiceovers, it's time to go to Maya's. Or you can call her Mia. So in the British accent, so in the British accent, it would be Mia. I personally call I personally pronounce it as Maya. But in any case, let's go ahead and go to voices, and we're going to click on Library again, and then we're going to say a young woman British accent. Okay, so here we have a couple of them. When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. Be here now, be someplace else later. Is that so complicated? I like this one. I think this one fits her character a lot, so we're going to go ahead and go with that. Let's click on Us. And once again, we're going to do the same thing. So with Maya, we just have a couple of ones that we need to go through here, so we're gonna click on Generes Speech. I can help. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. Great. Alright, so, uh, here's another one where she says we need to find shelter fast. We need to find shelter fast. That's great. I think it really matches her character. And then we'll get the next one here where she says, What should we do? Generate that speech. What should we do? Okay. So we'll download that. And part of character consistency is to have voiceovers that are consistent, as well. So make sure that they sound just about the same. And we made great friends. Each one. Alright. And we made great friends. Here, I feel like she's a little bit more high pitched, so you might want to bring the stability up there. Let's try to regenerate. And we made great friends. That sounds so that sounds a lot more stage. And we made great friends. That sounds a lot more consistent, so we're gonna download that. Perfect. So now we just need the very last character here, the voice over for Ben. So Ben's is fairly easy. I think he only has, like, two lines where he speaks, but we do need to pick a voice for him. So, again, we're going to go to voices. And in this case, we're going to say, young man, British and see what it gives us. So we want something a little bit more energy, maybe a deeper voice, so soft voice won't work for us here. So maybe confident. Love is a serious mental disease. Okay, that sounds a little too old for the character that we're looking for. So let's look around here. Opportunity doesn't knock. Build a door. Tom diving deeper into the various options for Ben, I think the best one for his character would be something like this. So there's a Hercules one where it's deep, confident, serious, middle aged. So I think this one is well suited. It's good for conversational purposes, and it's a middle British male voice. It's kind of deep also, so this works well. Courage is not the absence of fear, but simply moving on with dignity, despite that fear. Alright, so now that I've added that voice, we're gonna go ahead and click on use. Then we're going to again, just complete the two ones that we have here for Ben. So in this case, we just have Ben saying, I was hoping to find someone. There's a wild animal here. So we're going to go ahead and take that and click on Generate Speech. I was hoping to find someone. There's a wild animal in here. That's fine. And then we have one more for Ben, where he says, Let's tell everyone about our adventure. So we're gonna go ahead and enter that in, generate that speech. Let's tell everyone about our adventure. And that's sufficient. Perfect. So those are basically all the voiceovers that we need for our story script. Now, just because we have voiceovers doesn't mean that it synchronizes with the way they speak with the lips of the characters from what we generated with dream machines. So what we need to do is use a different program where we can synchronize the voiceovers with the videos. And to do that, you can use a couple of programs. So there's one called Syncabs, but unfortunately, that requires a subscription. I'm going to show you another approach, and we'll look at that in the next video. 11. Introduction to RunwayML for Voiceover Lip Syncing: We're going to do in order to proceed is use an app called Runway. Runway is really good for lip syncing. We're going to go ahead and give it a shot right now. So you want to first login with your account. So after you're logged in, what you're going to do is click on All tools. And when you get to all tools at the search, type in lip sync and it comes right up. Once you get here, you're in the platform whereby you can start dropping your video and essentially synchronizing your audio. What you're going to do in this case, is we're going to bring our scenes over. Okay. So once we're here, we're going to now look at the scenes. The very first scene here, if we look at the story script, we want lip syncing only for a few parts because there's going to be parts where the narrator is speaking over the characters doing something. So in this case, for instance, we want some synchronization here. There's some parts and the narrators speaking, there's some parts where Leo's speaking, Maya, and Ben. So there's only certain parts that really need synchronization, not all of the parts will require it, because specifically where the narrators speaking. So sometimes the narrator will be telling the story and you don't necessarily have to have that whole portion synchronized with the narrator because there's going to be times where we have, for example, Leah walking into the forest while the narrator is speaking and so on. Let's give this a shot. Let's go ahead and click on Upload Audio. The audio that we want here is scene one voiceovers, and we're going to click on this very first one here. We have the audio and then we're going to click the video, we're going to go to the first video that we want here and allow the video to upload. Let's see how this came out. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanting. I kind looks for where the face is, and then we're going to go ahead and generate give it our best shot. Okay, so that's being cued. So it is going to generate a watermark, and later in the end, we will remove the watermarks. I'll show you how to do that. All right, so let's take a look at how this came out. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to perfect. I mean, that's all we want, that one little part right there. Look how perfect that came. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. Perfect. Yeah, so we're only going to want those first 3 seconds. In a small village, a young man named Leo dream right about there before his face starts adventure. That's perfect. All right. So we're definitely going to download that. Awesome. Then that's basically what we're going to want to do for the rest of them. So you can then just go back and try again. We're going to reset the tool just by clicking this and go ahead and try your next one. 12. Lip Syncing Video Scenes with Voiceovers Using RunwayML – Part 3: Okay, we're going to continue on with lip syncing all the parts that are required for scene four and scene five. So there's a few of them. Let's go ahead and get through them. So we'll start with Ben, and this is one of our characters that we haven't lip sync yet. So we'll go to scene four and then we'll click on Bens. Now, this is the part where they're challenged inside the cave with a wild animal. So we want Ben to say, I was hoping to find someone. There's a wild animal in here. So that one is this 11 labs voiceover? I was hoping to find someone. There's a wild animal in here. Okay. We're going to generate that. Meanwhile, we grab the next image, which is where Mia says, What should we do? We're going to upload the audio for that. That's this one right here. What should we do? Okay. Simple enough. Generate that one as well. Allow those to cook. Moving on. We then have Leo, a confident Leo saying, we'll work together, we can scare it away. All right, so in this case, we have two other characters in the background. So let's grab Los here. We'll work together. We can scare it away. Okay. So in this case, you just want to select which character it is that's speaking. And then, in this case, we just want character three, and then we're just going to click on Generate. Meaning we don't want the other two to speak. All right. So moving on, we have the narrator who says the three friends gathered sticks and made noise. With teamwork, they frightened the animal out of the cave. So no lip syncing is required for that one because that's just going to be over these videos. So we're done with scene four. Let's move on to the last scene, referring to scene five. So for scene five, we go here, go to scene five. And then we have a couple here. So we have the narrator who says, after the storm passed, Leo, Mia, and Ben emerged from the cave, relieved and happy. Okay, so no voice over for that specific part. Referring to this. But we do want voiceovers for these three, and then we also want a voice over for the narrator at the end. We need four lip syncs. We do want Leo, where he says, cheerfully, we did it. This was the best adventure ever, and this would be the right one for it. Grab the audio real quick and we're going to grab Leo's right here. We did it. This was the best adventure ever. Generate. In the meantime, let's go back and take a look at how this one came out from scene four. We'll work together. We can scare it away. Wow. Amazing. That came out great. Okay, moving on. We also want to grab Mia and Ben, showing their excitement. So here we have Mia. So here Mia smiles and says, And we made great friends. So we're gonna click here Hon Mia's VoiceOver. And we made great friends. Generate that. And then we have Bens. So we're gonna grab the next one. Okay, so the next one is where Ben says. Let's tell everyone about our adventure. Okay. So that would be this one right here. Let's tell everyone about our adventure. Generate. All right. So here's our last video. The three friends return to the village, knowing they could face anything together. Their bond would last a lifetime. Awesome. Oh, ans with a smile, too. Would you look at that? All right? Well, that completes all the lip syncing that we need for all our voiceovers. As you can see, the videos are now a lot more realistic, and it will definitely put a good touch on the final look of our video, our AI animated video. So the next part is to start concatenating, meaning piecing together all the different videos, all the different scenes into one main video. We're going to start looking at that in the next section. We're also going to look at how to remove watermarks because as you know, some of the videos have watermarks from Luma, from dream labs, and we're going to look at how to remove those watermarks as well. 13. Removing Watermarks for a Clean Professional Video Presentation: Now I'd like to show you how to remove watermarks from your videos. And basically, the watermark that I'm referring to in our case is the one that was generated by Luma by Dreamlabs. So we're going to go ahead and remove that watermark, and I'm going to show you two different tools where you can get this job done. So the first one is called media dot IO, and basically just go to that URL, and essentially what we'll do is you click on Login and you create a free account. And once you do that, once you're all logged in, which I am, you're going to click on tools on the top there, and then click on View All. But once you get to this page, you can basically look for video Watermark remover, which is this one right here. We're going to go ahead and click on that. Then there's different types. The one that we'll select is just basic image video remover, but there's also a Tik Tok version. So we're just going to click on Image video Object remover, and then we're going to upload the video where we want to remove the watermark from. So we'll go with the very first one here, the one that we just lip sync, the very first one for scene one. We'll give that a try. So as you can see, the watermark that I want removed is right here. So all I need to do is just use the brush and brush over. I'm going to increase the brush size a little bit, say to 40, for example, and I'm just going to highlight over this, make sure I cover the amount of space for make sure you cover the amount of space required to cover the entire watermark. So you want to select at this point, remove objects now, which is basically right here. Okay. And then we're going to go ahead and click on that. Alright, so that video is ready. Let's go ahead and play it. So this is the one without the watermark with the watermark removed using media DO. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of ads you can see. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted fit. As you can see, it's basically kind of blurred out. Set off. You can't really notice it. And a bit nervous. I mean, in the grand scheme of things, I think this is great, especially for a product that is giving you a free trial to try out. So that's media I O. The resolution of the video is still fairly great. You can actually use another program to increase the resolution of the quality of your video. But I think this is sufficient. Nervous. That's one way you can go about removing the watermark. I'm going to show you another way, which is using online videocutter.com. This is the exact URL. I'll provide all of these links so you don't have to worry. Now, what you're going to do is once you're at this site, you're just going to click on Open File. And then we're going to click on that same one again and we're going to do the same thing. The first thing you want to do is select where the watermark is like we did with the Media IO app, and we're just going to highlight over it and make sure that you cover it. Good enough. Apply. Now, this is important. But essentially, once you're ready, you want to click on Save. But before you go ahead and download it, make sure you change I mean, the greatest quality you're going to get out of this app because it's completely free is 720, which isn't bad. But if you wanted to upgrade, you can certainly do it at 1080. It's a couple of bucks if you wanted it. But we're going to just do 720 for now. I am going to change the frame rate to a 120. That'll give me the best frame rate. So that'll give me the best resolution out of all the options. That is a free option, so you can take that. I'm going to go ahead and export. Okay, so, that usually processes fairly quickly, and there it is. Let's go ahead and save it. And let's take a look at it. Let's see how that one came out in comparison to Media IO. In a small village a young dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off. In a small village, a young man named the quality of this is just about the same dreamed of adventure. One day, he just excited and a bit nervous. Quality is great, and this is a completely free app. You can see that the watermark is a bit more not visible, but the blur is a little bit more visible. Not as much it's a little bit more visible than media IO, but not bad for a free tool. In a small village, a jars named Lee. It fits pretty well, I would say within the video. So it's not that noticeable. Adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and Alright. So those are two options that you can use to remove watermarks. There are other ways to do it, but those are two quick and easy ways to go about it. There's other ways you can do this in Canva, but I think this suffices for what we're trying. 14. Enhancing Video Resolution for High Quality AI Animated Videos: Okay, so in the last video lesson, we looked at how to remove watermarks from Luma, from any source. The next step is for us to see how we can upscale the resolution of our videos after we've removed the watermark. So the programs that we use to remove the watermark are free or at least they have a free trial. So because of that, the maximum resolution you're going to get is 720, which obviously is a little bit less in quality. It's still not bad, but if you want to upscale your resolution after removing the watermark, there's a couple ways to do that, and I'm going to show you one or two quick ways that this can happen. So the first way is to use Canva. And essentially, what you can do is you can have a free 30 day trial on Canva. Once you're logged into canva.com, you just simply click on create a Design and go to Video. Okay? Once you click on video, you bring in you go to uploads. Then once you're in uploads, you're gonna bring in the video that you want to upscale. So in my case, I'm going to select one of the videos that had the watermark removed. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed. So as you can see, the watermark was removed. So we lost a little bit of resolution there because it's now 720, but I'm going to go ahead and essentially scale this. So all I need to do is once I've maximized the video to fit well, I'm just going to go ahead and click on Share, go to Download. And then under Download, if you're on the initial 30 day trial, you can basically, as you can see, it's on 1080 right now, you can upscale even more. I would suggest to do the MAX, do the four K UHD. And the reason being is because you want to get the best result. So we're going to go ahead and just download it. It doesn't prove the quality of the video. The resolution is somewhat better, and that's going to look good for the final video. Now, you can actually download the video, once you remove the watermark immediately using online video cutter or media IO, by selecting a premium subscription on one of those websites, but then you have to pay for it. So I'm basically showing you free ways where you can do the same thing. That's the goal. All right, so this is one free way to do it. Use the Canva trial, 30 day trial. And then we're also going to do it in Cap Cut. So we're going to go to capcut.com, and once you've logged into cbct.com, then essentially all you do is you're going to need to go to hover over this and download the CAPC desktop app, okay? So you're going to want to click on that. Everybody download it. So once it's downloaded, open it up. So I'm going to go ahead and click on Capcut because I have the app already. Alright, so once it's open, go ahead and maximize this. Then what you want to do is click on Create Project. And once you do that, it's going to open up the editor. Okay. Import the video that you want to upscale. So in my case, I'm going to select one of the videos that were lip sync in scene one. I'll take the very first one, again, same one. And this one again, has the watermark removed. So it lost a little bit of resolution because we used the free version to download the removed watermark version of this video. In a small village, a young. Okay, so all we need to do now is go ahead and take this, drop it here. Okay. And once that's dropped, what you can essentially do is just go to Export once that's loaded. Okay. So we're going to click on Export. Once you're at export, what you want to do is under video resolution, select either two K or four K. Again, if you want to go with the best resolution, you can do the four K. And then I would also suggest a frame rate. You don't have to do this, but you can. So I'm just going to increase that to 60 frames per second. Okay? And I'm going to export. So it pretty much downloads this fairly quickly. All right. So now that both of those videos are done, I can basically go to my Downloads folder. In a small village, a young man named Leo Cool. I also did the Tik Tok version, which we don't need right now. But basically, these are the ones, so 11 oh three, that's the one from CapcAt, and this is the one from Canva. Now, how can you tell which one is the best resolution? Typically it's by the file size. So the original one that we did under C one here, videos with lip sync. It was only 3.75 megabytes. So fairly small. That's why I didn't have the best resolution after we've downloaded it post removing the watermark. And now if you look, you'll see that the video resolution is a lot different. So now we can see, for instance, in Canva, it's 41.6 megabits, and then for CAPCa it's 71 megabits. So it looks like Capca gave us the best resolution. But let's take a look at how they look like. We'll look at the Canva one first. In a small village the Ohio dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted felt resolution definitely better off, excited and a bit nervous. Alright, and then let's look at the Capcut version. In a small. Alright, so the cap cut one looks even better, I would say. So they both look pretty good. You can choose which one you want, either the Canva one or the Cap cut. But the point is, we've increased and upscaled, enhanced the resolution using free methods. So I'll go ahead and employ that as you see fit. Now, I will suggest that it's probably a good and efficient idea to do the upscaling at the very end once you've pieced together all your videos and then upscale it once instead of upscaling every video individually. So I would suggest that you do that. You can also do that with the watermarks. So you don't have to remove the watermark for each video. I was just demonstrating how to do so. So you can do all the watermarks at once in the end, and you can do the upscaling of the resolution at the end, once you've pieced together all your clips as one video. Speaking of, that's exactly what we're going to be doing in the very next video lesson. So let's get right into it. 15. Assembling Video Clips in Canva for a Cohesive Story: Well, I'm really excited. We reached a point in time where we have all the videos that we need for all five scenes, and we can start creating our final video. We can start putting it all together and creating our animated cinematic video that we've been looking to do. So obviously, there's a number of parts involved to make this all happen, and it may seem like a lot, but going through a course where I'm teaching all the different parts of it. So when you do this on your own, it's going to move a lot faster, obviously. I mean, I can get a video done in less than an hour, maybe a half hour if I really focus in on everything that I need to do. But because I'm taking the time to teach everything, obviously, this is why it's extended. So, in any case, we're going to go ahead and I'm just going to show you how I've organized all my folders, the final look before I start importing it into Canva. So Canva is the platform where I will be creating the video. So for scene one, I have two main video folders, and one is the videos with no lip sync, and one is the videos with the lip sync. So you can do it how you like, but that's how I prefer to do it. And I'm just going to follow the story script and see what video or what videos are best for each part as I go along. Okay. And you can do it in your own way, but this is how I'm going to choose to do it. So that's my scene one. And basically, it's the same thing for all of them. That's the format. So I have videos with no lip sync, videos with lip sync, and I just have the voiceovers in a separate folder, which we're not going to need to use anymore. We've already integrated them into our videos. Okay, so let's get started. Let's go to Canva. So canva.com. Once you're there, again, you're going to click on Created Design, and we're going to do select video. We want to do a standard 1080 1920 by 1080 pixels. Okay, so that's our standard video. It's typical for like YouTube and many platforms. So what you want to do first is upload all your videos. So let's go ahead and do that. All you need to do here is go ahead and go to scene one. And see what videos you want to upload. So I'm going to open up my story script, okay? Let's make this as simple and easy as possible. So we want to look at what videos we want to import. So I have one, two, three. In this case, I have my scene one, and I have three parts to the script here for scene one. And the videos that I want to import, I believe are all lip sync. So it's just basically these three. So what I would do is I would take it one scene at a time. So all I need to do is just grab these three videos and just drag them and drop them anywhere around the Cava platform. And that's it, it's pretty much uploading it, as you can see, so we're going to allow that to upload. And honestly, you can continue on and upload the remaining scenes as that's loading. So let's go ahead and do that real quick. So for scene two, we want to identify exactly what videos that we want uploaded. So I have a narrator here saying after a while, Leo reached a wide River. I'm just going to use this one for that specific video part. So I'm just going to use this one showing the river, okay? Alright, so we're going to do that. Leo, he says, How will I get across? So that's one of the lip sync videos. Narrator says, Justin, Leo, heard a voice that's also lip synced. This is lip sync, as well. So is this one. So it's really just one that's not lip sync and all the other ones are lip sync. So simple enough. So all I got to do is just take this one, drop it, okay? And I'm just going to go back and grab all the other ones that I need. So in this case, I have all of these that are acquired. I'm going to drop all those in. Alright, so let's start with scene one and scene two. Let's piece those together, and then we'll move on to the next scenes. Alright. Let's begin. Exciting, exciting. Alright, so what I would do is keep the story script around, keep it handy so that you can follow along as you build. So these are the videos that I've uploaded thus far, and it starts here. So I'm going to click on this first one, okay? All these other ones prior to were trials, but this is where we first start. Going to open this up. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off, excited and a bit nervous. Perfect. So I'm not going to use all of this, as I mentioned, but we're going to just go ahead and bring this across. Okay. Alright, so perfect. So as you can see, this is the only video that I have without a watermark because that was the first one that we just tried out by removing the watermark. But for the other ones, they will all have watermarks. Okay, so we don't want to necessarily have the narrator talking the whole time. We want to have some image behind him. But let's first piece it all together with the audio and then we'll enhance as we go along. Okay. The next one is Leo saying, Wow, this place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. So let's grab all the lip sync stuff first, and then later on we'll enhance. So let's grab that. So, the part where he says that is right here, we're gonna grab this video and drop it. Wow. This place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. Okay. Alright. And then we move on to the next part. So the narrator, where he says, the following? As Leo walked deeper into the forest, he felt a sense of wonder, but he didn't know what challenges lay ahead. Okay. So so far, our video looks like this for scene one. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off, excited and a bit nervous. Okay. Wow. This place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. As Leo walked deeper into the forest, he felt a sense of wonder, but he didn't know what challenges lay ahead. Okay. So, we want to add something here because we want to remove sort of the funny business that he's doing with his face. He decided to explore the enchanted forest. So we could do something with that. Here's what I would do. The way you want to do this is we're actually gonna sort of eliminate it. So we're going to split the page. And here's what I'm going to show you something really cool. Alright? So we're going to do this. As soon as his face starts going funny, which is, like, right around here, we're going to split the page. You right click and do split page. Then we're going to move this all the way until the point where his face goes back to kind of normal, right here. That's about 3.4 seconds. Now, you still want to keep it because of the audio, but here's what you can do. So we're going to take one of the other videos. In this case, we have this video right here. And we're going to just drop it here, and then it's uploading. So let's give that a quick second to upload. Now, here's what we're going to do. Keep in mind how many seconds this clip is. This is 3.4 seconds. What you want to do is go ahead and grab that one video, okay? And then we're going to maximize it to cover the former video and bring this down to 3.4 seconds. Exactly 3.4, no more, no less. Okay. And now watch. Now let's take a look at how it looks like. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off, excited and a bit nervous. So that looks a lot better. We're going to do some transitions later on to show how to kind of merge it in better. So I'm going to have a video lesson fully on transitions. We'll look at that. But for now, let's just start piecing the parts like this and editing as we go along. So thus far, we have scene one complete. This is pretty much everything we need. So let's take a quick look at scene one. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off, excited and a bit nervous. Wow. This place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. As Leo walked deeper into the forest, he felt a sense of wonder, but he didn't know what challenges lay ahead. So for this part, it also has a problem with the AI stuff. So we do have more than one option here. We can either go with this and split it and figure a way around it. So let's take a look at how this looks. Wow. This place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. So we can find a way to kind of split between the parts, just like we did here and make it work and compromise or we have another option. So let's open up the other one. There's this video as well. Wow. This place is amazing. Wow. This place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. So I think this one is a lot better. It doesn't really have flaws in it. So we should probably go with this one instead. So essentially, what we're going to do is remove this and instead take the new one. So we're just gonna take that and drop it right here between these two. Wow. And now let's take a look at scene one. Let me maximize. Perfect. Alright, so that's scene one. We didn't add any transitions yet, no effects, no audio, no music. We're going to add all of those later in the next video lesson. So for now, we just want to piece all the parts. So now that I've shown you how to do it for one scene, I'm going to move faster, as I usually do. I show you one, and then I start moving a lot faster. So let's do the remaining scenes. So for scene two, the good news is I've already uploaded all the videos required for scene two, so that's going to allow us to move forward. Alright, so let's bring this over here. Alright, and the first part is right here. So we want to show a river flowing. Where Leo encounters a river and he sees no bridge. All right? So we're going to do that part. We're going to have the narrator basically speak over this, which if you wanted to do that, all you need to do is grab his audio and essentially just drop it right over this. So all you need to do is upload his audio. So in this case, so in this case, what you would do is you would go here. Since it's not one of the lip sync videos, you're going to go over to voiceovers and select the very first one and drop it in. Okay. And then all you got to do is just click on that, center it so that it fully aligns and play it. After a while, Leo reached a wide river. The water rushed quickly, and he saw no bridge. That's it. In a small village. That's it. So all we did is just add the audio directly in here, which is fine. You can simply do that. Okay, so let's move on. So we want to keep going. We're going to go ahead go back to videos. And next, Leo says, How will I get across? That's this video right here. That's this video right here. So go ahead and drop it. How will I get across? Okay. And then next, we're going to grab the narrator, where he says, Just then Leo heard a voice, and this is where he hears my. Just then Leo heard a voice. Okay. All the way. Just then Leo heard a voice. It was Mia, a clever girl from Alright, so this is the next part. Just then Leo heard a voice. It was Mia, a clever girl from his village. Okay. And then next we have Mia speaking and saying, I can help, and that's this one right here. So we're probably not gonna use the whole thing, but we're gonna use part of it. I can help. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. Okay. So I can help. We can build a raft from those we want to grab the other part too and kind of merge them together because she speaks I can help. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. Alright, so I want to kind of split this up. This is what we're gonna do. We're gonna use this part where she says, I can help. I can help. So we're gonna transition. So we're gonna see I can help help. So we want the part where she says, I can help. I can help. We can build. And it's okay to go a little over because we want to transition into the next part. So we're gonna split it there, delete this part. And then here we're going to do I can help. I can help. And we're gonna cut this off here, split, remove, and let's see how that merges. We can build a rot from those full and branches. So we're gonna want to merge. We're gonna want to transition that. So here's what we can do. We can build what you can do is something like this. Can help. The part where she's done saying help, you can split the page again. You can go here. You can click on this, and you can go to Edit, and then you can just make the volume zero, basically nothing here. So you can transition. I'll show you how to transition that nicely later on. I can help. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. Oh, we're gonna transition between these. Okay? So here's how it looks like. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. Okay, we don't need all of that either on this end. So it's gonna be something like this. Can build a raft from those fallen branches. Okay, something like that. And split the page because it starts to go a little funny afterwards. So we'll delete that part. Okay. And then afterwards, we just have one more where Leo says, It's a great idea, so we're just going to take that and drop it here. Great idea, Mia. Let's do it. Okay. All right, so we have scene. Okay, great. So we just completed the first two scenes, just kind of piecing them together. And in the next video lesson, we'll do the remaining scenes, scenes three, four and five, and concatenate them all as one video. Afterwards, we'll look at how to add audio, for instance, like effects and maybe music in the background, dramatic music or whatever it is that you want to add, and also how to add text so that you have the subtitles and how to ultimately just transition and piece it all together. So as you follow along in the course, I'll show you how to do all of that for the final product for the final version of the story, the animated video. 16. Building Your Complete Animated Story in Canva with Lip Synced Videos: Alright, so I made a couple of quick enhancements to scene two. And basically, it's just a few things here. Bid River. The water rushed quickly, and he saw no. How will I get across? Just then, Leo heard a voice. It was Mia, a clever girl from his village. I can help. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. Great idea, Mia. Let's do it. Alright, so that's basically just a couple of quick enhancements that we're done on scene two. We're not done, obviously. This is really just the beginning part where we're concatenating and putting together the clips. So let's take a look at scene three. We're going to do scene three, four and five real quick as fast as possible, but also as efficient as possible and clear as possible so that all the editing steps are clear. So for scene three, the storm approaches, we're going to start with the videos that we need uploaded, so we have all of these four are lip sync, so we're just going to go ahead and grab those. We do have other ones that are not lip sync. We do need this first one as well to show that the raft is finished and they're crossing the river. So let's go ahead and upload that. So we're going to open up our Canva and upload the videos that we need. So we need that one, and then we just need all the lip sync ones, and that's pretty much all the ones we need for scene three. So let's allow that to upload real quick. Okay, so for scene three, the first thing we need is this one right here right after the scene two clip. We need this one and we need the voice over for it. So we're going to bring the file required for scene three. So we're just going to go so we're gonna go over to scene three voiceovers and grab that very first one. And then once it's on uploading, we'll just click on it. We're gonna go ahead and click on it right here. Perfect. Let's run it. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia crossed the river, but suddenly Okay, so we don't need all of this, so we just need the first part where he says, With the raft finished. It depends on how far you want to go with it. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia cross the river. I suppose right at the part where he says, With the raft finished, Leo and Mia cross the river is sufficient. So we'll just do that. So let's go to the very beginning. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia cross the river. That's sufficient. So we're gonna go ahead and split that right here. We don't need the remaining part. So we're gonna delete that. Let's try it again. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia cross the river. And that's fine. So then what we're gonna do is we're gonna grab our clip. So go to upload, go to videos, and this is the one that we want next. Let's go right here. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia crossed the river. Okay, so we don't need all of that. So we're gonna come. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia crossed the river. That part right there, we don't need that first half, because we already have it covered by this first clip. So let's take a look at how those two look together. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia crossed the river, but suddenly dark clouds rolled in and rain began to pour. Perfect. Okay. So that fits in really well. Let's move on to the next part. So then we just have the lip syncs of our characters here. So we have Mia saying we need to find shelter fast. Is this we here? We need to find shelter fast. Simple enough. Then we move on to the next part. We're gonna grab Leo, where he says, Follow me, I see a cave. So we don't have him lip synced here. So we don't have him lip synced here. So this is what we're gonna. You need to put the voice over. Okay. We certainly don't need all of this. So we're not going to show his face because we don't have this one lip sync, so we're going to do it from, like, right about here. Split that page. Delete that part. Do it right from this point, and then we're going to lip sync. So let's go ahead. Well, not lip sync. We're going to go ahead and grab the audio file necessary for this part. So upload the file. This is scene three, the one where Leo is speaking. And simply just grab it. Follow me. I see a cave over there. Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and split that right there, and we are going to show sort of we're gonna show kind of going into the cave, so we're gonna add a pretty cool feature here using this next clip. So right about so we're not gonna show Leo here. We're gonna clip it off right there, okay? And just clip that off right there. And let's take a look at how this part looks like. Follow me. I see a cave over there. Wow. Really nice. Perfect. Alright, and then we have the narrator speaking and saying the following. They ran to the cave where they met Ben, a brave boy who had also sought refuge. Perfect. All right. So scene three is done. Let's move on to scene four. So for scene four, we have Ben. He starts off. Let's open up Let's open up the videos that we need there. So we're gonna go to scene four. And then we have the videos with lip synching. We're definitely going to need these three, so let's drop them in here. Okay, so four, we have Ben, Mia, and Leo speaking, and then we have the narrator talking over this scene right here, where they're basically grabbing sticks. We also want to show where the animal is running away. We also want to show the wild animal. So we also will be taking these two, as well. That should be everything we need for scene four. Let's let that upload. Alright, let's go ahead and piece it together. So the first thing is Ben. So Ben for speak. I was hoping to find someone. There's a wild animal in here. Okay. And we want to show the wild animal. I was hoping to find someone. There's a wild animal in here. Okay. Fair enough. We're gonna go ahead and grab the wild animal and show the wild animal right here. Maybe with some scary music in the background, we'll figure it out. But after the animal is shown, then we want to go to the next part and show where Mia says, What should we do? What should we do? Okay, then Leo speaks and says the following. We'll work together. We can scare it away. Okay. And then we want the part where they do scare the animal away. So they're gonna gather some sticks together. That's gonna be this part right here. The narrator needs to speak over this, and he needs to speak over the part where the animal runs away as well. So those two together need to be combined somehow. Alright, so what we do here is we go ahead and grab the file, the voice over for scene four, where he says that the three friends gathered the sticks and made noises, they scared the animal away, so that's this one right here. Let's see how that looks like. We're probably going to have to shrink this down a bit to make it fit for both of them. So that's the ideal situation here. Let's see if we can make it fit. Let's take a look at how that sounds like. The three friends gathered sticks and made noise. With teamwork, they frightened the animal out of the cave. Okay, I think that came up pretty good. Okay, so our video already is about a minute and 22 seconds. Now, that completes scene four. We're going down to the last scene, which is scene five. Let's go ahead and complete the piecing together of the video. So for scene five, we have the narrator speaking at the beginning and the end of scene five, but there's no lip syncing there, but we do have three lip syncs here. So let's go ahead and grab all the videos that we need and drop it in Canva. So we're going to go to upload videos. We're going to grab the videos. So let's go to scene five, and then we're going to click on the videos with the lip sync first. So we have three of them here that we need. Okay? And then we also need the ones where they're leaving the cave and then they're returning to the village. So that's really these two right here. We can pick and choose which one we like. So we have two options here. For instance, we can choose this one. We could pick between both of them and edit it, and we can also take this one as well. So let's go ahead and drop them all. Alright. So let's proceed. So let's go to uploads. Go to videos. Now the first part is where the storm passed, where the narrative says the storm passed, Leo Mia and Ben emerged from the cave relieved and happy. They face challenges. They faced challenges together and grown closer. So that would essentially be these two clips right here. So let's go ahead and make something out of it. Let's grab this one, and let's also grab the other one. Okay. So we're going to need the voice over there. We're going to go back to audio, upload the file and go to scene five, voiceovers. And this is the first one. Let's grab that and drop it. So we don't need all of this, so we're going to trim down, trim this down. And let's see how this comes out. After the storm passed after the storm passed, Leo, Mia, and Ben emerged from the cave, relieved and happy. They had faced challenges together and grown closer. I think it's perfect. Okay, so there's a little bit of fine tuning that we can do here with the videos, and we'll do that later. But in the meantime, this looks pretty good so far. So now what we do is we take the next three clips. So we're gonna go ahead and grab the videos. First thing we do. The first thing we have is Leo speaking and saying we did it. This was the best adventure. We did it. This was the best adventure ever. Okay. And then we have Mia and we made great friends. And we made great friends. And then we have Ben saying, Let's tell everyone about our adventure. Let's tell everyone about our adventure. Okay. Then finally, we have the three friends returning to the Village. That is this clip right here. Okay, so that's 5 seconds. We're gonna go ahead and grab the voice over. So we're gonna go to Audio and get our very last voice over there. And let's drop it on there. The three friends return to the village, knowing they could face anything together, their bond. So so as you can see, the audio clip is about 2 seconds longer than this video. So one thing you can do is you can click on Edit, and you can modify the video speed slightly, for example, bring this down to, like, 0.7, and that brings it to 7.2 seconds as opposed to 5 seconds. So it looks like this now. Let's take a look. So now it looks like this. The three friends return to the village, knowing they could face anything together. Their bond would last a lifetime. There we go. Alright, so that's pretty much the piecing together of all five scenes. There's still more work to do, but this is sort of the first layer. After this, we start touching it up. We will add effects we'll add translations. We'll add effects, we'll add subtitles, we'll add music, and so on. So we want sound effects, anything to make the video better, to give it a nice shine, to give a nice look to give it a nice feel is always good for the final video production. So we're going to go ahead and look at some of those additional enhancements in the next video lessons. 17. Incorporating Smooth Transitions Between Clips for Professional Video Editing: Alright, so now that we've pieced together all the clips into one video, the next step is to add transitions. So we're going to go ahead and just add some transitions between the clips to give it a little bit more of a flavor and just kind of enhance our overall video. So after we do the transitions, we're going to focus on doing the audio and sound effects. And then afterwards, we'll do the subtitles, and then that'll basically complete our video. Alright, so we leveraged AI to generate all of these images that became videos, and now we're integrating it all in Canva. We made it so that it fits well here in the video editing software, specifically in Canva here. Now the next step is basically to add some transitions. Now, you don't want to go crazy with the transitions. You don't want to add a whole lot, but I would suggest to add a couple where it makes sense. For example, here in the beginning, we showed the intro where he says, the narrator. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. So it's a good idea to put a transition here because it transitions into showing the Village. So let's put a nice transition. I mean, there's multiple ones you can do. I would suggest probably, in this case, either dissolve or match and move. So either of those are fine. Let's go with match and move in this case, right here. And then we also want to transition out of it. So we're going to go ahead and transition out, as well. And for this one, again, you can select different ones. I would suggest probably doing the same thing and picking either dissolve or match and move. So let's do match and move on both of those and see how they look. Now, you can enhance the timing on those. Right now, they're set to 0.5, but let's see how that looks. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off, excited and a bit nervous. Alright, so that looks great. I had to adjust the timing just slightly, and that's common, so oftentimes you'll just have to make sure that it's within sync, so you got to adjust it accordingly, just to make sure that it transitions well. But other than that, it came out perfect. As you can see, the transitions fit really well with this part of the scene. So then we move on. And a bit nervous. Wow. This place is amazing. So I don't think we need a transition here. We'll just let that flow as it should. I can't wait to see what's inside. Has Leo walked deep? I think that's fine, as well. Again, we don't need a transition for every little part. Just lay ahead. After a while. Okay, so maybe we could put, like, a nice little transition here showing the river part. So let's try to add something. Alright, so let's see something that makes sense. Again, you don't want to go too crazy with this. I think the best ones, the most common ones would be dissolve and match and move as I mentioned, but we can try other ones, too. So the line wipe might be okay. We can give that one a shot, and we'll do it quick. So we'll do, like, just 0.2, something fast. Let's see how that looks like. Challenges lay ahead. Okay, so I think we can add a transition after this, as well. So we're going to go ahead and put a nice transition here to transition between the river and him saying, How will I get across? No bridge. How will I get across? We'll just put, like, a small little transition here. I think we'll try to dissolve in this case, and we'll make it all the Let's try 0.3 and see how that looks like. Used quickly, and he saw no bridge. How will I get across? Just then Leo heard a voice. Fine. It was Mia, a clever girl from his village. I can help. So I think all of that is fine. We don't need any transitions. Help. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. Great idea, Mia. So that's moving pretty fast there. So let's see. A clever girl from his village. I can help. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. I would like a transition right here from when she's building the branches and also where he says, Great idea. Mia, let's do it. And partly because, you know, it doesn't look the best as she's getting all branches. So I want to kind of eliminate that and just kind of merge that in a little better. So let's do a match and move, and let's make it really small, just like a 0.2 there. And let's see how that looks like. We can build a raft from those fallen branches. Great idea, Mia. Let's do it. Okay, so I think that's fine. That merges in pretty well. Alright, so this is them actually building the raft. With the raft as it is. So that should be fine as is. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia cross but suddenly dark Okay, so here we have an issue. This isn't it's kind of a transition related issue. So basically, there's not enough video time to cover the audio required here. So if you notice an issue like that while you're producing your video, you can just simply slow down the video slightly, so we're going to go ahead and edit this and bring it down, say, let's try 0.8. So it's basically going to increase the time a little bit, and let's see how that looks like. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia crossed the river, but suddenly dark clouds rolled in and rain began to pour. That's perfect. We need to find shelter fast. Alright, so at this point, you need to assess if you want any transitions or not. Leo and Mia crossed the river, but suddenly, dark clouds rolled in and it'd be nice to put a little transition here, I feel. So let's see what makes sense. So we can try doing the flow here, and let's see if we can make it just a little small one, maybe maybe 0.5. And let's see how that looks like. With the raft finished, Leo and me cross the river. Suddenly, dug. Okay, let's see if we can increase that a little Cross the river. But suddenly dark clouds. Okay. And Mia cross the river. But suddenly I think that might fit well so you want to make sure that it looks good, feels good. The raft finished. Leo and Mia crossed the river, but suddenly dark clouds rolled in and rain began to pour. We need to find shelter fast. Follow me. I see a cave over there. So, yeah, transition would be really nice in this part right here. So, again, it all depends on what you see fit. Um, we could probably do I wonder how the circle wipe will look like. We can try and just see how that looks like. If we don't like it, we can remove it. Follow me. I see a cake. Follow me. I see a cave over there. I actually doesn't look too bad. They ran to the cave where they met Ben. So it all depends. I mean, if you're a transition fan Follow me. I see a cave over there. Okay, so as you can see, They ran to the cave where they met Ben, a brave boy who had also sought refuge. I was hoping to find someone. There's a wild animal in here. Yeah, I definitely think we can add a transition here. So let's put one here. Match and move would be fine. And let's see how that looks like. Alright. I was hoping to find someone. There's a wild animal in here. Perfect. Okay, that looks really good. Let's keep it going. What should we do? We'll work together. Now, you want to decide if you want a transition here or not. I don't think it's necessary. What should we do? We'll work together. We can scare it away. Alright. We'll work together. We can scare it away. The three friends gathered sticks and made noise. With teamwork, they frightened the animal out of the cave. After the storm passed, Leo, Mia, and Ben. Definitely need, like, a transition here. So I would suggest maybe a dissolve right there. Animal out of the cave. He so Frightened the animal out of the cave. After the nice resolve would work well, right here. Look, they frightened the animal out of the cave. After the storm passed, Leo, Mia, and Ben emerged from the cave I would suggest another transition. And here I suggest putting a larger transition because his hair goes a little funky here, bends here, so we want to kind of cut some of that off. What I would suggest here is perhaps do a flow and keep it at 1.5. We can try a different direction this time, and let's see how that looks. After the storm passed, Leo, Mia, and Ben in merme They frightened the animal out of the cave after the storm passed. Now, another way you can resolve this is we're going to go ahead and take this again and kind of slow down the video speed a little bit. So So we're going to go ahead and take this and bring the video speed a little down. So, say, for instance, let's try 0.7 and see how that looks. Let's give it a shot. After the storm passed, Leo the animal out of the cave. After the storm passed, Leo Mia, and Ben emerged from the cave, relieved and happy. They had we can increase the transition a bit more as well. Mia and Ben emerged from the cave. And what we can do is we can kind of cut that part off. So, honestly, the most we can probably use this is, like, right around there, let's say. So we'll make up for the lost time. So we'll go ahead and play that and see how it looks now. After the storm passed, Leo, Mia and Ben emerge After the storm passed, Leo, Mia, and Ben emerged from the cave, relieved and happy. So we also want to modify this because we want to grab the good part. So make sure you grab the good part here. Okay, so we can only use the part of this as well. So it seems like we can only go as far as here and we're going to delete this clip. And honestly, we just have to kind of play around with the video speed here with these. So I'm going to do 0.5 S on each of those, and I think that'll do it for us. So we're going to go ahead and zer 0.5 on each. And let's see how that looks. With teamwork, they frightened the animal out of the cave. After the storm passed, Leo, Mia, and Ben emerged from the cave, relieved and happy. They had faced challenges together and grown closer. Okay, looks a lot better. We did it. This was the best adventure ever. And we made great friends. Let's tell everyone about our adventure. I think we could put little quick fades here. So let's kind of just dissolve each of those. Dissolve or match and move. Do a dissolve on each of those, and we'll make them small. We'll make each of these like 0.3 at most. And if 0.3 is too much, then we'll modify more. But I think having a dissolve of 0.3 on each of these clips will look really nice. So let's go ahead and add another one here. Kate, now let's give it a shot and see how it looks. Let's go back here and let's take a quick look. Close this out and play. Sir. We did it. This was the best adventure ever, and we made great friends. Let's tell everyone about our adventure. The three friends returned to the village, knowing they could face anything together. Their bond would last a lifetime. Okay, awesome. Now, if you wanted to fade out, you can certainly add one, but it's not necessary. All you would need to do is add a page here and whether you want to fade to white or black. So you can select the background color, for instance, if you wanted to fade to black, and then we can just add a transition, and then you can kind of, like, transition out if you wanted to. So either one is fine. You have many different outtros if you will. So you can do, like, a color wipe at the end if you wanted to, for example. But I think just a nice dissolve would be nice there. So we can try that. Together, their bond would last a lifetime. There we go. Something like that. Perfect. Alright, so that's how you do transitions, and again, you don't want to go crazy with it, but you just want to add enough so that it enhances your video and gives it a nice look. In the next video lesson, we'll look at audio and sound effects. And then in the lesson after that, we'll look at animated subtitles, and then we'll finalize our AI animated video. 18. Adding Background Audio and Sound Effects to Enhance Your Video Story: Alright, so now that we've looked at transitions and how to apply them to our videos, the next step would be to add audio and sound effects. So in terms of audio, I would suggest adding, if you want, what I would suggest is add a main audio to all your clips that will basically be applied across all your clips. So let's start with that first. So we're going to go ahead and pick something that we find enjoyable. We find applicable to the videos. So let's go ahead and go to elements. Then when you're at elements, what you're going to do is go down to Audio and click on C A. You can basically kind of search for a specific type of audio. So one keyword you can put in, for example, could be something like adventure. So we'll try that and we'll look at a few. We're going to need something that is at least a minute and 45 seconds. So let's try this one. It's meant for. It's meant for films. Now, of course, it's not going to be that loud. We're going to make it very low in volume. So that actually sounded pretty good. Let's try this one. No, that doesn't fit well. I think the first one here fits pretty good, but we'll look at like one or two more. So let's try this one. I would say no. We can try something more specific too if you want. For instance, if you want to say, forest adventure, you might find something a little closer. Okay, so I think the one that fits best is something like this. So we're going to go ahead and grab this and drop it across and have it play across all. Have it play across our entire video. In a small village, a young man named L. Now, that's way too loud. So what you're going to do so what you're going to do is click on the audio here and we're going to bring this down really low. I would say somewhere around maybe eight, something like that. Let's see how that sounds like. Just like some background noise or background music. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided I actually sounds really good. I just want to modify this slightly. Let's try that. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure. One day, he decided to explore the enchanted forest nearby. He packed some food and set off, excited and a bit nervous. Wow. This place is amazing. I can't wait to see what's inside. Now, what we're going to do? Now, what we're also going to do is kind of fade this in and fade it out. So I'm going to go ahead and fade it in 0.5 seconds, fade it out a little more, say, fade it out with 2 seconds. That would sound nice fading it out, but fading it in can be slight. In a small village, a young man. Okay. So a little fade in there. Okay. So that's our background audio. If you feel like it's still too loud, you know, you can bring that down you can decrease the volume even more. So let's try, for instance, seven and that could make all the difference. In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure one day. Yeah, so I like that. All right. So that's our background music. So this is kind of almost like a trailer. I mean, the length of it at least, I mean in 45 seconds. It could be a trailer to, like, a larger movie, for instance. In any case, we can also add sound effects. So let's try and add a couple of sound effects where it's necessary. For instance, here H wild. Here we have the river flowing, for instance. So we can do is we can get an audio of river flow and we can grab something like that, like a stream run river. Let's try one of these for instance. Let see which one sounds best. Whichever one you feel fits best we can add, essentially. After a while, Leo reached a wide. Okay, so maybe I think this one right here will do. So you want to do is basically just grab that and paste it right here for this specific clip, and let's see how that sounds. After a while, Leo reached a wide river. So again, that's way too loud, so you want to make sure that you bring this all the way down, say again, somewhere around seven or eight, I think is good. After a while, Leo reached a wide river. The water rushed. Make sure you adjust the volume so that it's heard but not extremely loud. So let's try something like this. After a while, Leo reached a wide river. The water rushed quickly and he saw no bridge. How will I get across? I think that's fine. Just kind of do step down a little bit. But something like that would be good. Bridge? How will I get? You can also fade it out, so we're going to go ahead and fade this out, and we'll do this at 0.5 seconds as well. Rushed quickly, and he saw no bridge? How will I get across? Sounds a lot. Used. After a while. So we can fade it in as well. So we'll do a 0.5 as well. Going in and out. What challenges lay ahead? After a while Cages lay ahead. After a while, Leo reached a wide river. The water rushed quickly, and he saw no bridge. How will I get across? Now, we can still have the river running. All we can do is we can copy this and still have the river. How will I get across? How will I get across? We can have the river here as well, and make it sort of behind the scenes here, so just in the background. So this already has the fade on it if you wanted to. Big. How will I get across? Just then Leo heard a voice. It was Mia, a clever girl from his village. So again, we can put the river. It all depends how many times you want to add the river noise, but you can add it as many times as you want. And in the end, you can decide and finalize it. It was Mia, a clever girl from his village. Let's see how that sounds like. It was Mia, a clever girl from his village. I can help. We can build a raft from Alright, those fallen branches. Great idea, Mia. Let's do it. Okay, so maybe we can add some noise here. Okay, so we can add some noise here. We got to think of, maybe, like, sticks or something. So let's see if we can find noises of, like, sticks. Something like that, maybe? Some kind of, like, like, a crunching noise or sticks breaking or something. Okay, so we can add that here and see how that sounds like. Mia, let's do it. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia, I'd be a good idea to also add something here, some kind of noise. So it seems like we can add a more steady river noise. We can look for, like, a calm river. I think that's fine. So something like that, we can just take that and put it here. And we'll see how that sounds like. With Alright, so we might need to play around with that. So this is the calm River noise. Seems a little subtle, but we're going to go ahead and try. So you want to forward this a little bit till you hear some of the noise. With the raft finished, Leo and me. Okay, so kind of like steady waters. Okay? So we can try this one. This one sounds nice because it's like a river and a forest. So we'll give that one a shot. That sounds really good. Kind with birds in the background. Let's try this one out. With the raft finished, Leo I sounds pretty cool. With the raft finished. So we're going to take this and expand it out so that it kind of continues playing because it only makes sense here. And let's see how that sounds like. With the raft finished, Leo and Mia crossed the river. But suddenly dark clouds rolled in, crossed the river. But suddenly dark clouds rolled in and rain began to pour. So now we need something darker. Maybe dark clouds or something. So maybe thunder. Maybe thunder rumbling would be good, so we can kind of add that. Say, right here. And let's see how that sounds like. Here, across the river. But suddenly dark clouds rolled in and rain began to pour. Okay, we're gonna have to move this Oops. So we're gonna have to kind of move the audio out, so just double click on it, sail about halfway during this clip, it will start playing the thunder rumbling. But suddenly dark clouds rolled in and rain began to pour. We need to find shelter fast. That's nice. And I feel like we can even expand this into going here. That would sound really cool. Now, we don't need it that loud, so again, we'll bring the audio down maybe to, let's try, like around 50, 49 or so. Let's see how that sounds like. Let's go. River. But suddenly dark clouds rolled in and rain began to pour. We need to find shelter fast. So, follow me. I see a cave over there. They ran to the cave where they met Ben, a brave boy who had also sought refuge. Okay, so I was hoping to find someone. There's a wild animal in here. Alright, so we definitely want something here to kind of give a sense of the danger that's happening. So maybe the noise of a wolf. Maybe like this wolf howl. Maybe this noise right here. We'll add it. Kind of put it right here somewhere. And let's see how that looks. There's a wild animal in here. We What should we do? And we'll make that lower. It's way too loud. There's a wild animal in here. What should we do? We'll work together. We can scare. Okay, so we continue on. There is a way. The three friends gathered sticks and made noise. So, again, we're gonna look for audio with noises of sticks and see if we can find something. So what you could probably do is type in wood stick. Let's see which of these would be most appropriate. So I think this is good. It sounds good. It sounds like it's in a cave, too. So I'm gonna go ahead and grab this one. And we're going to apply it to this clip right here. Put the effect right there. Kind of move this over, bring the audio down. And let's play that. We can scare away. The three friends gathered sticks and made noise. With teamwork, I think we need to kind of push this down a little bit somewhere around here. Let's try it again. The three friends gathered sticks and made noise. With teamwork, they frightened the animal. A little bit more. So you want to make sure that the noise complements the story script, right? We'll work together. Sticks. We can scare it. So they're gonna be throwing sticks to scare the animal away, in this case. The three friends gathered sticks and made noise. With teamwork, they frightened the animal out of the cave. After the story. What you do here is like another wolf howl. This could be like a really quick one. We could probably grab, for instance, this one. It's only 2 seconds. I might fit well here. So we'll kind of bring this down. Just want it kind of short, maybe even a little shorter than that. And let's see how that sounds, how it fits all together. Ix and made noise. With teamwork, they frightened the animal out of the cave. After the storm pup. So I think that's fine, but it needs to fade out and also needs to be a little lower. So 0.5, again, with the fade out and adjust the noise, bring that down. Okay, we'll just leave it at 50 there. Teamwork. And let's see how that sounds. The three friends gathered sticks and made noise. With teamwork, they frightened the animal out of the cave. After the storm pup. I think we can two step volume even a little more kind of just show it in the background, so bring that down to, like, say 25. Okay, and let's play that. With teamwork, they frightened the animal out of the cave. After the storm passed. Great, great. Leo, Mia, and Ben emerged from the cave, relieved and happy. They had faced challenges together and grown closer. Very good. We did it. This was the best adventure ever, and we made great friends. Let's tell everyone about our adventure. The three friends returned to the village, knowing they could face anything together. Their bond would last a lifetime. Alright, so we can definitely fade out with the background music. I also think the background music is still a little too loud, so I do want to reduce that down. I think we're going to just do that down to five, and I do want to fade out as well. So make that like 2 seconds and let's see how that sounds like. The three friends return to the village, knowing they could face anything together. Their bond would last a lifetime. Okay. That sounds good. I think we're gonna also make the outtro just a little shorter. So maybe just like around a second or so would be fine. Would you try that? And would last a lifetime. It sounds a lot better. Great. So so the transitions are done. The audio is done. We have background audio. We have sound effects, and I think that's all there is to it. So now, in the very next video, we're going to look at how to create subtitles, how we're going to caption our video and how to do it in a more automated fashion as opposed to manually creating your subtitles. So let's go ahead and look at that in our next video lesson. 19. Generating Animated Subtitles for Your Video Story Using Canva: That we've added our transitions, we've added our sound effects, our background, audio, and all of that. The last step is to essentially just add your subtitles. So we're going to use Canva to do this. You can use Cap Cut as well and other video editing programs, but since we're using Canva, I'm going to show you exactly how to do that. It's fairly straightforward. So we're going to do is we're going to click on apps here, as you can see on the bottom left. Once you click on Apps, what you're going to do is type in sub titles and it actually comes up in the search. The one that you want from these is animated subtitles. So go ahead and click on that. Once you've clicked on it, it's very important that you want to select all of your clips. Go ahead and select all of them. Then you're going to click on Start. Once you've clicked on Start, you're going to click on Export. And it's basically going to do all of your videos. It's going to look at all the audio in your videos and essentially convert it to text, and it'll allow you to select what sample text you want first, what font you want, then you can apply it. So once I get here, depending on if you have credits, now this is now there is a free trial that exists with this app. I think they give you about 2 minutes or so for free, so for our purposes, it's fine. But I happen to have credit because I've purchased credit for my own purposes. But what I'm going to do is grab all of my videos. I'm going to hold shift down and click on the very last clip, and that basically highlights all of them. Okay. And I'm going to click on Start. Again, you can do up to a two minute video for free, and then after that, you can purchase credit very cheap if you needed to, but for art perps is here, it's free for now. And then that's pretty much it. So you can download pages as separate files, which it's not necessary. We want one final video. So I'm going to go ahead and click on Export. Now, as we're doing this, it's basically going to take all your audio and sort of read your video as it states there and bring it over into human readable text that you can look at read as subtitles, as you would find in any movie or show. All right, so then once that's done, it takes a couple of seconds. You can select your sample text. In my case, I think I'm going to select this very bottom one here, the one on the bottom. I like this one. And shows you a sample text here of how it's going to look like. I don't like that. I'm going to probably pick Oswald. I think that one is good enough and the size is also too big, so I'm going to make it small. I don't really need large text, and I also definitely want on the bottom. So that's sufficient for me. You can also select the font color. You can pick any font color you like. I'm personally going to stick with white for now. I think that's fine. And once you feel comfortable with all of those settings, go ahead and click on Generate. So this will take about a minute. It doesn't take too long, but once it's all done, the final product, the final look of it is excellent. It's great quality. So let's give that a quick minute there. All right, so it looks like it's done, and once it's complete, it's going to show you all the lines. Now, have 37 lines in total on my end. You may find some lines where it's just like a word or a couple of words, and that's fine. It's just because the line prior to was just a little too long and the app felt like it would be best to provide it, provide the rest of it on its own line, and it's fine. It comes out pretty good. So basically, once you approve of this, what you can do is just click on generate video with subtitles and then it's going to go ahead and process it. Now, this is the part that takes the longest. It takes about a minute and a half to 2 minutes, so let's allow that to generate. All right. So this is awesome. Me so we're not going to watch the whole thing right now, but basically, you can just go through it, make sure the subtitles look good, this app is really on point, so I've never had any issues with it, and that's pretty much it. We're honestly reaching the end right now. So what you can do is just click here and just select, download the video. And this should be our final video, except there's two more things that we need to do real quick, which I've already shown you how to do, so I'm just going to go ahead and do it myself. One would be to remove the watermark for the entire video, and the second is to upscale the resolution of the final video. I've already shown you how to do that with all the different programs and methods, so you can go back and refer to those videos. But for now for my purposes, I'm going to go ahead and do that myself for this final video. And then the very next video lesson, it's not a video lesson. It's the final video. I want you to go ahead and enjoy it and take a look at our final result. I hope you enjoy it. 20. The Final AI Animated Video Story!: In a small village, a young man named Leo dreamed of adventure.
