1. Introduction: The ability to make custom jewelry is a wonderful way to add personal and unique touch to our everyday life. Hello everyone. I'm Claudia, fashion and lifestyle accessory designer from India. In this class, Let's learn how to make paper jewelry. We will be making a jewelry set with enduring pendant and a bracelet that we shared. A similar language in terms of design, paper is a great material as it's nature to fold and the ability to print results in colorful, bold, and modern aesthetics, I'm hearing will have a unique feature as it wouldn't be able to change shapes. So you can read the same urine into different variations. Paper crafting can be very relaxing experience. This class is beginner friendly and new won't be needing any prior knowledge on paper. Crafting. The simplicity of paper as a material enables just everybody to enjoy this graph to their heart's content. Join now and let's get started. 2. Materials Required: The materials required for this project. Template printed on card stock paper. It can be a solid or it can be printed paper. Scoring, glue, roundness player, some clips, quote-unquote, or any existing Silver Chain needed. By Hooke's jump rings. Scissors, cut a pencil, a ruler, and finally cutting mat. 3. Understanding & Scoring the Template: In this lesson, let's see how we can use the template. So once you print the template, we can notice here that red line is the cut line and the blue dashed lines are the score line. And solid colored area is for blue area. So in this paper jewelry set template, you can notice some units for practice purpose. And urine, right? Urine, left pendant and bracelet. So let's get started with during right first. Let's cut it out from this template. So we have to cut right on the red light. You can notice urine right during left and dependent heart of the same pattern. We will discuss only that one piece. And then later on we can follow it accordingly. So now, once we have gotten the first step is to score them. So once we have got, Let's get started with this scoring. Since the design language is very same for all the units that is dependent and depressed it. So the scoring pattern will also be the same. So first, let's do the vertical lines. So let's use the scoring tool and align the ruler and just cover the vertical lines. Once we completed this vertical lines, Let's rotate it and keep it like this. And score on the vertical lines. Facing a perfect one need there are three lights. Now, let's go for the diagonal lines from one direction. Now, let's cover the diagonal lines in this direction. Once this is good, we can score all the other units. That is URI, right hearing left and dependent. It's all good. 4. Folding the Earring: Now let's get started with the folding process that we can use this code into and folded like this. And make all the folds. First clean and crisp. We're adding this particular flap, this jewelry is because we have to cover the back otherwise or back part of the urine will be having this code lines. That's where we are adding that. Now let's fold it the vertical. We're just adding four. Now let's fold along the flaps backside. This way, we can just fold the vertical lines. Now accordion folds like this. Perfect. Now, if you notice we have the folds, the front and the back. Once this is done, let's use the edges of the fold like this, these two points and put them inside. That's where we have added the score line. There'll be C4s. While we make. We have to test for these points and pull them inside and folded like a triangle. The similar way Let's do for this second pleat. Also. Just push this point inside and make the fault. This can try it first in the practice unit and then jump into the urine. And dependent. The same folding language we are going to carry out for the bracelet. Also. Let's practice first and the practice units and then come to the final units. It's still very repeated process. And then finally, this triangle over here. Perfect. Now we have finished it. We are going to hold these two and then put the jump rings and attach the year. Why hook? This is agile tree urine. Let's Make Default crisper. And once the fold is crisp and clean, we can open it up and apply some glue. This is default. So if you notice the top, we will hold it. The jumping and paste. Use EOI who can finish it. But in the bottom, there is a two triangles to x's. We are going to finish this bottom by using this technique. That is, we are going to flip the folder inside like this. If you notice now, once we paste it, it's completely finished like this. This is why we have added a flap. If you see the backside of theory, we could still see the color, not the score lights. That's why we added a flap to cover it up. So in this way, we will get a very finished hearing. So let's open it up and glue it. And then again we will fold it. So now we know how we can use the flu and folded. So we have to apply glue over here, this triangular part here and here. And then we just have to apply glue difference. Let's do that. It's a very tiny piece. So when you folded in the practice sheet and then come to the final, you will feel very comfortable to work with it. It's not a big deal. Once you apply the glue mixture, it is evenly spread. You can even use glue stick if you have. Once it is applied nicely, gently, paste it. Later on, once it is dry, we can fold it and then lock them. We have folded before because we have to add the bottom finished detail. That's why we folded that. Once it is dry it nicely, we can start with the folding again. So now I think it is dried completely. So let's fold it again. Let's first make the pleats. That's the first step. We have to make the pleats. Then we have to start with the folding process effect. Now if you see, we just have to put one hole over here and use jump rings and finish the URI. And if you notice the backside of it, it's also very perfect and it's finished. It can be either use like this or you can open it up and you can wear it like this. That is two options. Oneness, the folds close to be like this. You can tighten it. It can be like this, or it can be opened. In the next video, let's add the jump rings and finish the urine. 5. Finishing the Earring: In this lesson, let's see how we can add the samplings and finish theory. Let's open up the orange a little bit and then mark the urine. So these are the two points we have to the point where we have to put one whole. So let's open the ring and then just, let's fold it in this way. And then we can use pencil to put one dot for our reference. This is the area where we want to make a hole. I'm going to use simply the needle. It's a through and through hole. If you notice here. Once it is done like this, we can use this jumping. It's a diamond. So I'm just holding the two ends and slightly opening it up like this. And then let's insert it. Let's Be very careful, since it is paper. It has a tendency to that. Let's add the wire hook inside this leg and then tightening. Perfect. Now once this is done, let's make our foods. Since we have already folded, it will not be completely messed. Me have slightly opened it up. Let's finalize it like this. Now if you see we have a very beautiful you're ready and you can wear it like this, or you can open it up and make it big and very light. In this similar way. Let's complete the another URI. And dependent. 6. Attaching the Pendant: In this lesson, let's see how we can add the jump rings and dependent to the chain. So for that, the defendant is this similar way how we made during so I have made it and the similar way that we have added a whole theory, I have, I have punched a hole too. So let's use the champagne HMM, and open it up like this. If you want, you can even use the Newstown player for opening it. And then just, let's insert it inside our paper. Dependent. So now we have inserted the ATM. I'm jumping to this. Let's add four MM, jumping in this way like this. And then let's tighten it up next. Once that is done, let's make the folds proper and crisper like this. Perfect. Now, we can use the existing chain, silver chain if you have. Or we can directly use one cotton got to make it more unique and natural. So I'm going to use cotton cord like this and insert it. And it can meet tight or it can be not. So I'm going to simply put one note here later on if they're too big and remove it and tighten it. It's according to your college. So now if you notice we have made a pendant. And the earrings and the very similar language. So this is looking very neat. And the similar way of the urine here also, if it is, we want to make it a little big. Can open up the folder. And if you want to wear it like this, you can close the faults and tighten it and make it like this. In this way, we have made urine and dependent for our cot and caught. The next video. Let's see how we can make the bracelet. 7. Making the Bracelet: In this lesson, let's see how we can make the place late. For that. I have got the bracelet template pattern from the template that I have shared with you. So let's first cut it on the red lights and score them in the blue dashed lines, which I have already done. So now let's start with the folding. For folding first we have to start with the accordion fold. That is the horizontal kind of thing. So let's first folded start. This is the glue area, so I'm not going to count it. Let's start with the first folder. Then let's keep on folded. Since it is code, it's very easy to fall. I'm just doing it very quickly because it's very easy. You notice it's forming a very neat. So since our pattern is having a very gradient look, so it has a very gradient field. Now we have finished horizontal folds. Now it's time for us to meet the triangular folds from the edges. Notice default. The edge facing. Those are the points that we will be working now. So we are going to hold the ends of the edge facing forward and then push it inside. Like this. That's it. It's the same way. Let's make it. We're just going to hold the ends of the edges and then push it, keeping the center outside. Similar way. To do it. You just have to hold the ends of the edge and push it inside. So once it's done, then we can use clips just to hold it. And we can continue because otherwise it will be very difficult for us to hold everything together and continue. Let's start it from here. Later on when we finish it, it will be very easy for us. Then we work with people, these clips. It will be very handy and it will help us a lot to get a very neat and finished product. Now it's time for us to another clip and put it here. Now, let's start with it. With this fleet. It's very simple. We just have to hold the center, which the ends inside. Once you finish the practice units, you'll really get to know like how to fold this because it's that easy. You have reached the final most. Perfect. Now let's make defaults. Crisper. And then let's remove one-by-one clip. And then naked. More. Response. If you'll notice we have left this. We didn't do folded that time, so we can now make this fully and completely folding flow effect. Now we have completed defaults. It looks very pretty. Now it's time for glue. So if you notice this is the blue area. So we have to apply glue here and paste it to this that we are going to form like a seam. So let's do that in one flap. And then we have to seal it with the next. Once it is done like this, it simply like this effect. Make sure that you match the edges, end points of edges, and then seal it. Let's allow this for drying. So I'm going to again use two clips for the drying process. 8. Finishing the Bracelet & Conclusion: In this video, let's see how to finish our bracelet. It is dried completely. So I'm going to remove the clips. And now it's our time to finish default again because we have opened default here in this region. So let's finish it. Using scissor. We have to remove this excess same. We just have to cut them in both the sides. Perfect. Now if you notice our bracelet and stand out, very nice. So we can open it up. And since we have scored and folded them, making any way, retain the folds like this. So this will be a bracelet. It is always better to allow the product to completely dry when you use glue. Other ways it will be very difficult to fold and it might damage the paper because in the wet state, paper has a tendency to wear off quickly. Now let's see how to it can test the bracelet. So I'm going to just wear it. Once you where this can again make the folds CRISPR. Now. It's very crisp. And it is looking very pretty. And since it is paper, it has a tendency to absorb different treatments. So if you want to give this to someone, it can be centered and then gifted. So that's an advantage of paper. Let's try other things as well. Let's try the urine. So we have come to the end of this class. I hope you have learned something new. And it is a very custom made, a new rate jewelry that we have, like a bracelet hearings and dependent. So if you want, it can be extended like this. So if you'll see this little shorter than it can have a different language. And Talley, thank you for joining this class. I hope you have enjoyed it. Please feel free to share your thoughts on the class, the review section, I would really love to see your products that you have created. Please share them in the project section. Back and cheers.
