This lecture, I'm going to introduce the concept of writing. Many people who are wondering whether writing is at all necessary with all the advent of digital age and the digital resources. What is the place of writing? Is it all just a mundane task? Total helpful for human beings? Let's delve into it and understand the importance of writing. First. What is an essay? An essay is a relatively short piece of writing on a particular topic. However, the word essay also means to attempt or cry. Therefore, NSA is a short piece of written by someone attempting to explore a topic or answer a question. Why bother writing an essay? Most of the time, students write essays only because they are required to do so by a classroom instructor. Students come to believe that essays are important, primarily demonstrate their knowledge to a teacher or professor. This is simply and dangerously wrong. Even though such writing for demonstration may be particularly necessarily necessary in those cases. But the primary reason to write an essay so that the writer can formulate and organize and informed, coherent, and sophisticated set of ideas about something important. But why is it important to bother with developing sophisticated ideas? And it's because there is no difference between doing so and thinking. For starters, it is important to think because action based on thinking is likely to be far less painful and more productive than action-based upon ignorance. If you want to have a life characterized by competence, productivity, security, originality, and engagement rather than one that is nasty, brutish and short. You need to think carefully about important issues. There is no better way to do so then to write. This is because of writing extends your memory, facilitates editing and clarifies your thinking. You can write down more than you can easily remember that your capacity to consider a number of ideas at the same time is broadened. Furthermore, once those ideas are written down, you can move them around and change them. Word by word, sentence by sentence and paragraph by paragraph. You can also reject ideas that appear substandard after you consider them more carefully. If you reject a substandard ideas, ideas that are below the usual or required standard, then all that you will have left will be good ideas. You can keep those and use them. Then you will have good original ideas at your fingertips. And you will be able to organize and communicate them. Let's just consider your success over the course of a lifetime. Here is something to think about. The person who can formulate and communicate the best argument almost always wins. If you want a job, you have to make a case for yourself. If you want to rate, you have to convince someone that you deserve it. If you are trying to convince someone of the validity of your idea, you have to debate it's merged successfully, particularly if there are others with other competing ideas. If you sharpen your capacity to think and to communicate as a consequence of writing, you are better armed. The pen is mightier than this word. As the saying goes. This is not cheap. Cliche idea. Ideas changed the world. But particularly when they are written. The Romans built buildings and the Romans and the buildings are both gone. The Jews wrote a book and they're still here, and so is the book. It turns out that words may, will last longer than stone and have more important more impact that whole empires. If you learn to write MPI data, you will also be able to tell the difference between good ideas, intelligently presented, and bad ideas put forth by murky and unskilled thinkers. That means that you will be able to separate the wheat from the chaff. Then you can be properly influenza by profound and solid ideas. Instead of falling prey to foolish fabs and whims and ideologies, which can range in that danger from trivial, mortal. Those who can think and communicate are simply more powerful than those who cannot. And powerful in the good way. The way that means able to do a wide range of things competently and efficiently. Furthermore, the further up the ladder of competence you climb, which are well formulated thoughts, the more important thinking and communicating become. The very top of the most complex hierarchies like law, medicine, academia, business, theology, politics. Nothing is more necessary and valuable. If you can think and communicate. You can also defend yourself and your friends and family when that becomes necessary. And it will become necessary at various points in your life. Finally, it is useful to note that your mind is organized verbally. The highest and most abstract levels does. If you learn to think through writing, then you will develop a well-organized, efficient mine and one that is well-founded. Entertain. This also means that you will be healthier mentally and physically because the lack of clarity increases unnecessary stress. Lack of clarity and ignorance means unnecessary stress. Unnecessary stress makes your body react to move to what could otherwise be treated as trivial affairs. This makes for excess energy expenditure and more rapid aging. Along with all the negative health-related consequences of aging. Unless you want to stay an ignorant, unhealthy, lightweight, learned to write and to think and communicate. Otherwise. Those who can well ride roughshod over you and push you out of the way. Your life will be harder at the bottom of the dominance hierarchies that you will inevitably inhabit and you will get old fast. Don't ever underestimate the power of words. Without them, we would still be living increase. When you are writing an essay, you are harnessing the full might of culture to your life. That is why you write an essay, even it has been assigned. Forget that you are doing something stupid, trivial and LDL. Remember it, and you are querying the unknown. Let me just give a few points and technology, if you are a student or anyone else who is going to do a lot of writing, then you should provide yourself with the right technology, especially now, when it is virtually costless to do so, obviously, you need a computer. It doesn't have to be that good, although a digital hard drive is a good investment for speed, Let's obviously, you need two screens, one setup beside the other. They don't have to be bigger than 19 inch diagonal or even 17 inch monitors will do perfectly fine. Resolution is better. You need the two screens so that you can present your reference material on one screen and your essay, or even to work side-by-side on the other. Having this extra visual real estate really matters. Don't take it as trivial. It will make you less cramped and more efficient. Although a good keyboard is also an excellent investment. Standard keyboards will hurt your hands if you use them continually. And the less said about a notebook keyboard, the better User, good MOS as well. Not a touchpad which requires too much finicky moment for someone who is really working. Setup the keyboard so you are looking directly at their centers. When you're sitting up straight. Use a decent tray and suit so that your feet can rest comfortably on the floor when your knees are bent 90 degrees. These are not trivial issues because proper ergonomics is essential. You may spend hours working on your writing. You have to set up a workspace that will not annoy you or you will have just one more good reason to avoid your tasks and assignments. Let me give some notes on usage of time. People's brains functions better in the morning. Get up, eat something. You are much smarter and more resilient after you have slept properly. And eight, there is plenty of solid research demonstrating this. Coffee alone is counterproductive. Having some protein and some fat, make a smoothie with fruit and real yogurt. Go out and buy cheap breakfast if necessary, by whatever means necessary, prepared to spend between 90 minutes and three hours writing. However, even 15 minutes can be useful, particularly if you do it every day. Do not wait for a big chunk of free time to start. It will never get big chunks of free time ever in your life. So don't make your success dependent on their non-existent. The most effective writers write everyday at least a bit. Realized that when you first sit down to write, your mind will rebel. It is full of other ideas, all of which will fight the dominate. You could be looking at Facebook or YouTube, or watching or reading anything online, or cleaning the desk bunnies from under your bed, or rearranging your absolute CD collection or texting and old flame are reading a book for another course or getting the groceries you need, or doing the laundry, or having a nap, or going for a walk because you need the exercise. Or even phoning a friend or a parent. The list is endless. Each part of your mind that is concerned with such things will make it once known and attempt to distract you. Such pesky demons can be squelched. However, with patients, if you refuse to be tempted for 15 minutes, 25 on a really bad day, you will find that the clamor in your mind will settle down and you will be able to concentrate on writing. If you did this day after day, you will find that the power of such temptations do not reduce. The duration of their attempts to distract you will decrease. You will also firing that even on a day where concentration is very difficult, it will still be able to do some product to writing. If you stick it out. Don't kid yourself into thinking. You will write for six hours either. We use a maximum, especially if you want to sustain it day after day. Don't wait too late to start your writing. You don't have to cram insanely, but give yourself a break after good period of sustained concentration. Three product to ours are way better than ten hours of self-discipline to non-productive, even in the library. Don't overestimate yourself in the beginning stages of writing. Humble yourself, your mind is way darker than you can expect. Writer team it before you start seeking higher challenges. This is the importance of writing an introduction to it and how we have to adjust ourselves and our surroundings. Handling ourselves. Let's get ahead into the next lecture. Thank you very much guys. 3. #2 Levels of Resolution in Writing: Hello guys. Now we are going to understand the details of variety. When we are writing. It is a definitely a big task. We have to break it down into subtasks that we would be able to handle and manage them. Optimal. Writing also exists at different levels of resolution. So let us learn about them. I say, like any piece of writing exists at multiple levels of resolution simultaneously. First is the selection of words. Second is the crafting of the sentence. Each word should be precisely the right word, the right location in each sentence. The sentence itself should present a thought. Part of the idea expressed in the paragraph in a grammatically correct manner. Each sentence should be properly arranged and sequence the inside a paragraph. The third level of resolution. As a rule of thumb, a paragraph should be made up of at least ten sentences or a 100 words. This might be regarded as a stupid rule because it is arbitrary. However, you should let it guide you until you know better. You have very little right to break the rules until you have mastered them. But why? Let me give you a little story to illustrate that idea. They can impart from a document like codecs busy. Christ is walking down the road on the Sabbath. When good Jews of dead time, we're not supposed to work. The DTC is a shepherd trying to rescue a sheep from a whole. That is, it has fallen into, it is very hot and clearly the ship will not be in very good shape if we'd spend a whole day in the desert turn. The, it is the Sabbath. Christ looks at the shepherd and says, Man, if indeed don't know what the DOD be blessed, but if don't not, not, do art cursed and a transgression of the law. Then he walks on down the road. The point is this, there is a rest day for a reason. Otherwise, people would work all the time. Then they would be chronically unhappy and exhausted. They would compete each other to death. If it is time for everybody to rest, den Rest, and don't be breaking the rule. However, it is also not good to let a ship dying the Hudson when a few minutes of labor might save it. If you are respectful of the rule and conscious of its importance, realize that it serves as a bulwark against the chaos of the unknown, you still decide to break it carefully because the particularities of the circumstances demand it. Well then more power to you. If you are just a careless, ignorant, and the social narcissist. Instead, however, the lookout, you break a rule at your parallel, whether you know it or not, rules are there for a reason. You're not only allowed to break them if you are a mastered. If you're not a master, Don't confuse your ignorance with creativity or style. Writing that follows the rules is easier for readers because they know roughly what to expect. Rules or conventions. Like all conventions, they are sometimes sub-optimal, but not very often. So to begin with, use the conventions. For example, aim to make your paragraphs about ten sentences or 100 words long. A paragraph should present a single idea using multiple sentences. If you can't think of a 100 words to say about your idea, it's probably not a very good idea. You need to think more about it. If your paragraph is rambling on for 300 words or more, it is possible that it has more than one idea in it and should be broken up. All the paragraphs have to be arranged in a logical progression from the beginning of the year to the end. This is the fourth level of resolution. Perhaps the most important step in writing a C is getting the paragraphs in proper order. Each of them is a stepping stone to your essays final destination. Let me just correct this logical progression. Yes. Now if you get the good idea, the fifth level of resolution is DSA as a whole, every element of an a second be correct. Each word, sentence, and paragraph, even the paragraph order and the second still fail because it is just not interesting or important. It is very hard for competent but uninspired riders understand this kind of failure. Because a critic cannot merely pointed out, there is no answer to their question. Exactly where did I make a mistake? Such an essay, it's just not good. It is very hard for competent but uninspired writers to understand this kind of failure. Because a credit cannot merely pointed out, there is no answer to this question. Sometimes a creative person who is not technically proficient as writer can make the opposite mistake. There would choices for their sentences badly constructed and poorly organized within their paragraphs. There paragraph, he isn't know intelligible relationship to one another. Yet there says a whole can succeed because there are valuable thoughts trapped within it. Wishing desperately to find expression. You might think that they could not possibly be anything more to an essay then these five levels of resolution or analysis. But you would be wrong. This is something that was first noticed perhaps by the y's entirely reprehensible and district or scholars known as post-modernist, NSF necessarily exist within a context of interpretation made up of the reader. It is the level of six resolution and the culture that the reader is embedded in. That is the seventh level, which is made up in part of the exemptions that he or she will bring to their safe. Level, 67 have deep roots in biology and culture. You might think, why do I need to know this? If you don't, you're not considering your audience. And that's a mistake. Part of the purpose of their sales to set your mind straight. But the other part, equally important is to communicate with an audience. For the essay to succeed brilliantly, it has to work at all of these levels of resolution simultaneously. That is very difficult, but, but it is indeed difficulty that the value of the act of writing exists. We also need to consider the aesthetics and fascination. This is not all there has to be properly managed when you write an essay. You should also strive for brevity, which is concise and efficient expression, as well as beauty, which is the melodic or poetic aspect of your language. Finally, you should not be boring or board. If you're bored while writing, then most importantly, you're doing it wrong. You will also bore your reader. Think of it this way. You get bored for a reason. And sometimes for good reason, you may be bored while writing your essay because you are actually lying to yourself in a very deep way about what you're doing, why you're doing it. Your mind independent of your ego, cannot be tamed. Independent of your ego, it cannot be hoodwinked into attending to something that you think is uninteresting or useless. It will automatically regard such a thing as unworthy of attention and make you bored by it. If you are bored by your essay, you have either choosing the wrong topic, one which makes no difference to you and in all likelihood to anyone else. You are approaching good topic in a substandard manner. Perhaps you're resentful about having to write the essay, are afraid of its reception. Or lazy or ignorant or unduly and arrogantly skeptical, or something of that kind. You have to place yourself in the correct state of mind, right? Properly. That state of mind is partly aesthetic. You have to be trying to produce something of worth beauty and elegance. If you think that is ridiculous, then you are far too stupid at the moment to write properly. You need to meditate long and hard on why you would dare presume that word, beauty and elegance or unworthy of your pursuit. Do you plant a settled for ugly and uncaught? Do you want to destroy? Instead of build, you must choose a topic that is important to you. This should be formulated as a question that you want to answer. This is arguably the hardest part of writing an essay. Choosing the proper question. Perhaps your instructor has provided you with a list of topics and you think you are off the hook as a consequence, you're not still have to determine how to write about one of those topics in a manner that is compelling to you. It is a moral, spiritual endeavor. If you properly identify something of interest to you, then you have put yourself in alignment with the deeper levels of your psyche, your spirit. If these deeper levels do not want or need an answer to the question you have posed, you will not possibly be interested in it. The fact of your interest is evidence of the importance of the topic. You are some part of you needs the answer. And such needs can be deep enough so that life itself can depend upon them. Someone desperate, for example, might find the question why live of extreme interest absolutely require an answer that makes life is suffering worth bearing. It is not necessary to ensure that every question you try or SA2 answer of debt level of importance. But you should not reassure time with ideas that do not grip you. The proper attitude is interested and aesthetically sensitive. Having said all that here is something to remember. It needs to be, It's perfect. Most people fail a class or an assignment or a work project, not because they write badly and get a D's or F's, but because they don't write at all and get zeros, zeros are very bad. There the black holes of numbers. Zeros make you feel zeros ruin your life. Essays handed in no matter how badly written and usually get you at least a C. Don't be a completely self-destructive idiot. And something in, regardless of how pathetic I think it is, no matter how accurate you are in that opinion. Our goal is to maintain the statics sensitive and to keep interesting topics at hand and keep her audience interested at the same time. Instead of striving for perfection, giving our best and making it finished is extinct truly important? With this thought in mind, let's get ahead into the next lecture. Thank you guys. 4. #3 Topics & Reading List: Hello guys. Now it is time for us to understand about the topic and reading list. We have understood the importance of writing, the levels of resolution, but where do we start? The central question that you are trying to answer is D, topic question. You can just try to bring out some potential interesting topic questions out of your own mind. You can at least take them from your lecturers. You can begin your essay writing process two different ways. You can either list the topics you have been assigned. Our list of ten or so questions that you might want to answer. If you are required to choose your own topic. Or you can start to create and finalize your reading list. If you think you can already identify several potential topics of interest shot with topics. If you're unsure, start constructing your reading list. Like this. Give you, give yourself at least a ten topics. I have listed only you do, but give it less ten topics and start from there. If you cannot do this, then you have to do some more reading, which you will likely have to do to complete the SE anyway. There is, by the way, no such thing as a Reader's Block. If you cannot write it is because you have nothing to say. You have no ideas left out. In such a situation. Don't pride yourself on your writer's block. Read something. If that doesn't work, read something else, maybe something better. Repeat until the problem is solved. Here. Or you can reading list indicate here what you have to or want to read. They should be books or articles. Generally speaking, if you don't know what articles or books might be appropriate or useful, then you can start with Wikipedia articles or other encyclopedic resources and look at the reference list for ideas about further reading. These sources are fine as a beginning. If you find someone who's writing is particularly interesting and appropriate, it is often very useful to see if you can find out what others dead, mild and red. You can do this by noting who they referred to in the text of the writings are in the reference list. You can meander predictively to white bodies of learning in this manner. Assume you need at least five to ten books or five to ten articles per 1000 words of a shared, unless we have been instructed otherwise. Try to take a double-spaced page of typing usually contains about 250 words. List your sources. Now, even if you have to do it badly, you can always make it better later. While you are reading tea, if you can notice anything that catches your attention, this might be something you think is important or something that too seriously disagree with, or something that you might want to know more about. You have to pay careful attention to your emotional reactions to do this. You also want to take some notes. You can place your notes below. The readings are listed above. When you're taking notes, don't bother doing stupid things like highlighting or underlining sentences in the textbook. There is no evidence that it works. It just looks like you have learned or any questions that have arisen in our mind. Don't have a copy of the source word for word. The most important part of learning and remembering, use your own words is a re-creation of what you have written in your own language. This is not simplistic. Use your own words. This is the dialogue you are having with the writer of your sources. This is your attempt to say it back to the order. This is what I understand. You are saying. This is where you extract the gist of the writing. If someone asks you about your day, you don't say Well first I open my eyes, then I blinked and rubbed them. Then I placed my left leg on the floor and then my right, you would put him to death. Instead, you eliminate the extra detail and concentrate on communicating what is important. That is exactly what you're supposed to be doing. When you take some notes during or after reading. After is often better with the book closed, so that you're not tempted to copy the other's writing word for word so that you can fool yourself into thinking you did some work. If you find note-taking in this manner difficult, try this, read a paragraph, look away, then say to yourself out loud, even in a whisper, if you're in a library, what the paragraph meant? Listen to what you said and then quickly write it down. Take about two to three times as many naughts by word as you will need for your essay. You might think that is inefficient, but it is not. In order to write intelligently about something or to speak intelligently about it, you need to know far more than you can actually communicate. That helps you master level 67 described previously. The context within which the context within which there seems to be understood. Out of those nodes, you should be able to derive eight to ten topic questions. Do so. Remember they can be edited later. Just get them down. Now we have understood where to start. Before you go ahead, try to pick some topic or a reading for reading at least five books or five topics and start with the first one. Take some notes. At least for a paragraph as an exercise. Read a paragraph, right? Something notes of it, what we have learned from it, and then get to the next lecture. Thank you very much guys. 5. #4 Creating an Outline: Hello guys. Now we're going to learn about how to create an outline. We have understood the importance and the introduction of writing, the levels of resolution that exists within writing. And where to start about choosing a topic or going through a reading list and coming across a question or a topic. Now, at this point you have prepared a list of topics or in the reading list, I would assume. Now it is time to choose a topic. Let me just give you a practical knowledge of how I'm going to create an outline. Because it is one of the, or, if not, it is the most difficult part of writing an essay and not an optional thing that you have to do it. Very first thing is we have to choose a topic. The topic that I'll be choosing here is about the Abrahamic Lincoln. I mean, you would say this is trivial because Abraham Lincoln is one of the presidents of America, United States of America. But we want to see why, what, how pretty much something to no more than that about him. Here's another rule. When you write your first draft, it should be longer than the final version. This is all that you have some extra writing. The throwaway. You want to have something to throw away after the first draft so that you only have to keep what is good. It is not faster too, if you try to write exactly as many words as you need when you first sit down to write. Trying to do some nearly make sure to aware of what you're writing. Discussion will slow you down. Aim at producing a first draft that is twenty-five percent longer than the final draft is supposed to be. Your final work is to be 1000 words then, right? Right that below about how many watch one, it would be about four pages. The Word document will automatically particularly at twenty-five percent the length you specify. I think that's a good start. Now you have to write an outline. Like I said, this is the most difficult part of writing an essay, and it is not optional. The outline of an essay is like the skeleton of a body. It provides its fundamental form and structure. Furthermore, the outline is basically the argument. The sentences themselves and the words serving that argument requires a tenth sentence outline. However, The fundamental outline of an essay should not get much longer than 15 sentences, even if they assist several thousand words or more than length. This is because it is difficult to keep an argument of more than that land in mind at one time so that you can assess the quality of its structure. Right at ten to 15 sentence outline of your essay. And if it is longer than a 1000 words, then make sub outlines. For each primary outline sentence. I will be giving you an example of a good symbol outline here about who was Abraham Lincoln. Let me just give you a few outline tips. The very first years was Abraham's sorry. Was Abraham's linker would be first, then Abraham Lincoln of membranes. Why do we need to remember about him? Who is he? Why do we need to remember after president? Where the crucial paint is? Childhood? Because people learn a lot from their childhood. And these things are going to have a tremendous effect on them. We need to study that as well. Then. What about adults in young adulthood? Of course, we didn't know he is a president or how politics, what word is major challenges. I think we're off to a good start, right? What are the primary political and economic issues of his time? Because that is the most important things US government sees and what we're getting. We're primary political omic, stuff. Everybody will be having upon internal enemies because of course, he is trying to compete for the presidential seed of the free world. He will be definitely having some enemies. Hoover is Enemies. How did he deal with them? Because the way you deal with your friends and your enemies and your enemies, he's going to have a lot of impact in your success and your life is going to unfold. How did you deal with them? And what were his major accomplishment? Finally, how did hit them? We are getting from his childhood to his debt. And pretty much trying to address all of those things which we seem to be important for our topic. This outline is for 1000 words. There are about more than ten number ten outlines. But this is a good start for a 1000 word essay. But if you are looking for a longer essay, at least about 3 thousand words, you have to still keep it within 15 or ten to 15 outlines. Let's see how to do that. We're on the second page. I added a page break or break page break. The topic that I would be choosing here is, what is capitalist thread is 3 thousand pages would be. Let me give you the outline. First thing is what is capitalism? Has been capitalism? Capitalism indifference it from different orders. The reason I was able to distinguish this because you can have this kind of knowledge if you have actually done some kind of reading, right? Just by simply figuring out, but this comes from your reading list when you have gone to some five to ten books about capitalism and then you want to formulate your thoughts on it, then you will be having, alright, let me see what those two others have written. You will be falling into this kind of thinking. Wherein rented capitalism developed. That's nice. Now, how did capitalism developing the first 50 years after return region? Because we have the knowledge about capitalism, at least two reasonable mark. And we knew it took some centuries or some huge amount of years to grow. What, what was the capitalism development in the first 50 years after it has been founded? Because we want to know how it started, the foundation, how it has been done. Then we're going to learn about the next few years. The next, we can repeat until the present. Then historical precursors, because until then there was no capitalism, but what were the precursors to each existence? Here you can choose as many centuries as possible because we do not know what driven people to fund this kind of ideology. And then advantages of capitalism. What words? Generation? Logical, personal freedom. Because when you have more than you need or at least something that you can get by, you would have some personal freedom to the decoding deeper into other things. Then disadvantages of capitalism. An equal distribution. Because we have seen a huge amount of people getting into poverty and only few people getting up into welding. Pollution. Other alternatives. Capitalism, fascism, communism. When we are dealing about capitalism, such a huge revolutionary ideology, we need to think what are the alternatives that are other than this? Because why this has been so widely popular and work dot well, other than lumen compared to each Alternatives. Consequences of these alternative need to potential future development. Same potential because you need to see the disadvantages of capitalism. We need to know whether teacher development of this ideology is better or not. Then conclusion. Never forget about conclusion because we need to have a conclusion. Because the reason we are writing is to formulate our thoughts without conclusion. I will just simply leaving it without any kind of final thought. That this is a good Three thousand word document outline. Alright, there's a lot we can actually go in depth, but this is somewhat useful. Look at the way we have dealing. This comes from your reading list, not just simply trying to outline, although here we can, most of it we can try to understand. We can have this simply by trying to speed ball. But here we need a lot of knowledge. This outline, it will be coming from your reading list. And also whenever you're trying to dry this beware of the pregnancy to write quite repetitive and cliched introductions and conclusions. It is often useful to write just talking through, like what is the purpose of this essay? Is it going to proceed? Let's talk conclusion. How did this I say proceed. Why was it, what was its purpose? They should usually be done, be thrown away. Right? Cure outline here, rifle, one outline heading per 100 words of length. You can add subdivisions as an example regarding capitalism right here. But before you head out, try to find some topic and create an outline right now. It will greatly help you give you at least ten sentence outline, which will be a good start for you. Before you get to the next lesson. Try to form an outline. Then get ahead. Thank you very much guys. 6. #5 Writing Paragraphs & Editing: Now we're going to deal with paragraph. You have your outline. Just copy the outline to separate pitch. I'll write ten to 15% interest per outline. To complete your paragraphs. You may find it helpful to add additional subdivisions to your outline and work back and forth between the outline and the sentences. Editing both. Use your notes as well. Use single-space thing at this point so that you can see more writing on the paper at once. You will format your essay properly later. Don't worry too much about her. Well, you are writing at this point. It is also best at this point not to worry too much about the niceties of sentence structure and grammar. There is all best left for the second major step, which is editing. You should think of the essay writing process has twofold. The first major step is the first draft, which can be relatively quick and dirty. With the first draft, you can use your notes extensively and rough out the essay. If you get stuck writing anywhere, just move to the next outlines entails. You can always go back. The second major step is editing, production. The first major step and editing is the second. These are two different functions and should be treated that way. This is because each interferes with the other. The purpose of production is to produce. The function of editing is to reduce the error range. If you try to do both at the same time, then the editing style is the production. It's not faster to combine them, nor is it better. And it is bound to be frustrating. So here is an example of writing associated with an outline question which we have formulated in the previously outlined sentences, how has capitalism being defined? Here I have two paragraphs of answer. You can literally see. Like I have said, different authors have defined it in different ways. I haven't mentioned in two paragraphs about how I could have interpreted capitalism based on the readings that I have gone through. It took two paragraphs to begin to address. The first our clients sentence. Notice that the S sub beans without referencing it to itself, it is better to tell the reader what the service will be about and how the topic will be addressed then to meander around stupidly at the beginning of an essay. But it is still better to grab the reader's attention immediately without beating around the bush. Once you have completed ten to 15 sentences for each outline heading, you have finished your first draft. Now, it is time to move to editing. I'm gonna deal with editing in the same lecture. Now copy the first paragraph of your first draft. This is our first paragraph. I mean, first outline. Not place. It outlines intense on its own. I have shown you here. I'm placing eats intense within its own line. Now write another version of each sentence. Under each sentence, like this. You see I have the same sentence but in different formats I have written, just rewriting it in a different way without losing the meaning, but in trying to provide brevity of it. In this example, the meaning of the sentence has been changed slightly, not too much during the rewrite. It may be that the second sentence flows better than the first and is also more precise and meaningful. See if you can make it eats intense. You have written better in a similar manner. Always remember, better would mean shorter and simpler. Let me just write it out here. Making sentences better. Better would mean shorter and simple. As all unnecessary words should be eliminated. There is almost nothing annoys rider can do that will improve his or her writing more rapidly than writing really short sentences. See if you can cut the length of each index by 15 to twenty-five percent. Remember earlier, you try to make your SL longer than necessary. Here you can start cleaning it up. Then better would mean that each word is precisely and exactly the right word. But these two are great. Outlines to make your sentences better. Don't be tempted to use any words that you would be uncomfortable to use in spoken conversation. Often new writers strike him president readers with their vocabulary. This often backfires when words are used that are technically correct, but it was quantitation is not that are unsuitable within the context of the sentence, paragraph or for, let's say, an expert writer will spot such flows immediately. See them for what they are. Forms of camouflage and deception, right? Clearly at a vocabulary level you have mastered, but maybe a bit of stretching to produce improvement. Now read each sentence aloud. Listen to how it sounds. If it is awkward. See if you see if you can see it a bit different. Better way. Listen to what you said and then write it down. Rewrite each sin dense. Once you have done this with all those intentions, read the old versions and the new versions and replace the old with the new if the newest better, and copy the new paragraphs into another document. Now we're going to Friday and blue each of those paragraphs copy them again, unchanged. You are doing this so that you can easily compare the paragraphs to the originals so that you can be sure they're truly improved before it keep them. You have to have a natural tendency to improve with paragraph one, break it up into each single sentences as you did before. Now tick to save this indentures are in the best possible order within each paragraph. Drag and drop them or cut and paste them into better order. You can also eliminate, send the answers that are no longer necessary when you are satisfied with the first paragraph, which means that the sentences aren't necessary. Chart and point G, and in the correct order. Then go ahead to the next paragraph and do the same thing. In this way, try to create a new version of your document which will impeccably improve your writing. That is about paragraph and editing. Let's get to the next lecture where we're going to deal with other aspects of editing as well. Thank you very much guys. 7. #6 Reordering Paragraphs: Hello guys. How it is time for us to learn about reordering the paragraph. Now that you have edited your sentences and made sure that all the sentences Aryan the best best meaningful way. Now copy all of the new improved paragraphs that you have edited before. Now you're going to try to improve the order of those new, improved paragraphs. Look at the order of the paragraphs themselves, as you just did with the sentences within each paragraph. It may well be that by now in the editing process, you will find that the order of the subtopics within your original outline is no longer precisely appropriate. Maybe the order of your outlines is no longer precisely appropriate as well. That some reordering of those subtopics is called for more around the improved paragraph that we have in the previous lecture until they are ordered more appropriately than they were. This is an incredibly important step more around your paragraphs to make your resume more meaningful. Because it cannot just simply think that the outline itself is what holds the situation or the essay together. You have to move around to make sure that it fits in the right way. That you will be learning, reordering paragraphs, make sure that you follow this exercise. I will be also taking an example and I'll be showing you how to do all of that in the following lectures. Right now. Make your, make sure that you're reordering your paragraphs so that it fits in the right way. Thank you very much guys. 8. #7 Improving Re outlining and Repeat: Welcome back guys. By now, you should have produced a pretty decent second graph. You have identified the appropriate sources, written the proper nodes, outlined your argument, referred in a first draft, paragraph by paragraph, rewritten your sentences to make them more elegant and reordered those sentences, as well as the paragraphs themselves. This is much farther than most writers ever get. You may even think you are finished, but you're not. The next step will take you from a BSA to an essay. We're gonna take our essay from quality be to quality. Yay. It may even help you write something that is better than you have ever produced. Better meaning, richer in information, resides, coherent, elegant, and beautiful. Hopi, what you have written so far, right? We're going to create a new essay here. This part of the process will probably strike you as unnecessary or annoying, or even both at the same time. But what do you know? This is the step that separates the men from the boys or the woman from the boys or the men from the goals of whatever version of this thing is acceptably non sexist and politically correct. You're going to improve your own self. You have just finished reading your essay. Try now to writing new client off ten to 15 sentences. While you're doing this. Don't look back at your value of doing this. If you have to go back and reread the whole thing and then written to this page. But don't look at your essay while you are rewriting the outline. If you force yourself to reconstruct your argument from memory, you will likely improve it. Generally, when you remember something, you simplify it while retaining most of what is important. Does your memory can serve as a filter, removing what is useless, and preserving and organizing what is vital. What you're doing now is distilling what you have written two, It's a sense. After you have finished your outline. Now that you have a new outline, you can cut and paste material from your previous S-shape. To do this, you can open up a new Word document beside, or you can open a new Google Docs button, paste the new outline that you have written into the new Word document, written to the original document, and scroll up to the full reordered essay you copied and pasted into Part eight above. Then cut and paste from the reordered as saying Dear new outline. You may find that you don't need everything you wrote before. Now, don't be afraid to throw unnecessary material away. You're trying to get rid of what is substandard and leave only what is necessary. Once you have finished cutting and pasting your old material into the new old client, then copy the new essay and paste it into a new Word document. That will be your final essay. Don't forget to put a little title page on it. Alright? Have to let people know what you're writing. Then you must repeat this process. Now, you have a third draft, and it's probably pretty good. If you really want to take it to the next level, then you can repeat the process of sentence rewriting and reordering, as well as paragraph reordering and re outlining. Often, it is a good idea to wait a few days to do this so that you can look at what you have produced with fresh eyes. Then you will have, then you will be able to see what you have written. Instead of seeing what you think you wrote, which is the case when you try to edit immediately after producing, you're not genuinely finished until you cannot edit, so that your essay improves. Generally, you can tell if this has happened when you try to rewrite a sentence or a paragraph, you are not sure that the new version is an improvement over the original. 9. #8 References and Bibliography: Now that you have finished, you enter part of a C. You have to be careful about few things. When you write a sentence that contains what is supposed to be a fact, informed opinion, you must cite our credit. The person who has created it. You have picked it up from something, you read it, then you have to refer to the truth. Otherwise, following convention, people may accuse you of plagiarism, which is a form of theft of intellectual property. There are a large number of conventions that you can follow to properly structure your references and your bibliography, which is a list of books and articles that you have read to obtain relevant background information. But from which you may not have drawn any ideas specific enough to require a reference. Conventions of the American Psychological Association, APA, a commonly used by a songwriter's. This convention generally requires the use of the last names of the orders of the source in parentheses after the sentence acquiring a reference. For example, it isn't necessary to add a reference after a sentence containing an opinion which is not your own or a fact that you have acquired from some source material. But the same sentence can also be constructor. Putting their name into the beginning of the sentence. There are also many conventions covering the use of a direct quote, which have to be followed when you directly quote someone, rather than paraphrasing them. Adding the specific number of the page containing the quoted material in the original manuscript. Different conventions hold for different types of source material such as web pages, books, and articles. Your instructor may have recommended or demanded use of a different set of conventions. It is necessarily to match to at least one convention. The rules are finicky and annoying, however, they are necessary so that readers know what writers are up to. Furthermore, you only have to learn them once. Bite the bullet and just do it. Now copy your essay again into a new Word document or a Google document, references where they are necessary. Then add your reference list to the end of your essay. Make sure you construct both according to the APA convention or some other set of rules. Now here it says completed, you need to copy it into a new document and formatted properly. That generally means double-spaced with a title page with a five space tab indent at the beginning of each paragraph. If you want to add subtitles, our section headers there uses pretty much necessary to have a proper format. If you've got this far good work, if you write a number of assists using this process, you will find that you're thinking will become richer and clearer. So will your conversation. It is nothing more vital to becoming educated. And there is nothing more vital than education to your future and the future of those around you. Good luck with your newly organized and refreshed mind. Let's get back to the next lecture where we're gonna start learning about writing content for your blogs using the keyword research. Until now we have understood and delved into importance and the education of writing itself. Now, we're gonna learn about creating articles using the keyword research technique. How to grow our blog content and gain good ranking exposure is within Google search engine, because that is our ultimate goal. Let's get ahead, guys. 10. #9 Satisfying User Intent: Welcome back guys. Now we're gonna learn about satisfying user intent. Until now we have learned the importance of writing, the major ten steps of writing. But now our focus is on satisfying user intent. The reason we're trying to publish content into the Internet where we will be discovered by potential users or readers. We are writing content for the purpose of someone to read it. We have to satisfy their intent so that the Google algorithm will take our content as authority to our content up in the ranks. So let's go ahead and see how to satisfy the user intent. While user intent might not be the only thing that is the factor for ranking, it is definitely one huge factor. Let's go ahead and learn about the outline for our lecture is, what is user intent? Why user intent matters for SEO? How to satisfy user intent and also primary and secondary intent. These are the objectives and outline for this lecture. Let's go ahead and learn about user intent. What are users really looking for when they search for something in Google? Whenever someone wants to learn about something. Quick fix to a problem or something, they want to know. Fact they want to look out for, back. They want to check. People approach Google without any hesitation because it is one of deep fostered technologies within our generation. This is the user intent. If someone wants to look for weight-loss diet, obviously they're going to fall into Google. They will go ahead right into the Google search bar and they're gonna type how to lose weight or diet for weight loss or something of such such term. That is a search term. But the intent behind these, either to get some advice on weight loss or to have pick a plan of date for weight-loss. Workout, for weight-loss, whatever it might be, user intent is about solving their problem. They have a problem with wait for additional weight. And they wanted to cut down. The user intent is to lose weight. That is what the users are really looking for when they're searching for something in Google. Searching for something in the sense, in our case, our example where it lost, they're looking for that. Different users might have different intent behind a single search term. Like I said, some might be looking for just few tips. Some might be looking for a workout. Some might be looking for DEI plan. Some might be looking for some smoothies for weight-loss. There'll be a lot of Indian behind it. Some might be looking for an extensive guide. There are a lot of intent behind the user. Have to know what types of content are they expecting to see. For example, how to invest in stock market? Let me just give you an example by doing it practical search. Let's hit our two incognito tab. I'm going to look for how to invest in stock market. Now you can see there are some advertisement promoted by Google itself. Let's not look into that. You can see here marking guide for beginners. I would start investing in stocks. A beginner's guide, how to invest in stock markets, begin Nash. This is opening an account. Beginner's guide, week Stock Guide about investing stock market and guide. Out of these ten results, there are about more than half are just guide because why? I mean, these are not the only articles present on internet, but they have ranked within the top ten because Google has pulled them out of all those articles and showed them as these are the articles or these are the kind of articles that users are looking for. When they are searching for how to invest in stock market. You can see this is opening an account from NSC.com. This is more of like an opening an account. It is not a guide. It is an actionable step. It might be relevant or not. But about more than half of these ten search results are just quickstart guides are guides about investing in stock markets. If you want to target this key term, rank for this, you have to write an, an extensive guide because mostly users are looking for guides about how to invest in stock market. That is the reason why about more than half of these ten searches are guides for investing stock market, including the first one, stick stock market guide for beginners. So this is a good way to understand what is the user intent behind the search term. I mean, we might not be able to match every single user that is trying to look at this particular term. Maybe I'll, at least 80% of the users would be looking for guide. 20% of users might be looking for something else other than a guide. The user intent might vary, but majority of the times they are looking for guides. And this is easily understandable by looking at the search results, because Google is pushing these results up towards the top of Google, ranking, up to the top of the search engine results. Because users are looking for guides and Google is pushing to show them guys and the best guide, if you can write one excellent article and epic and comprehensive article on stock metric guide. You can actually successfully gain all the credibility and everything that Google takes into ranking and build an extensive guide, you might be able to rank within the top ten results of this search term. Although how to invest in stock market might be highly competitive. It takes a lot of other things. Guide is one of the easiest ways to rank if you are targeting this keyword. That's a cool example. Why user intent matters for a CEO, because Google's most important job is to keep their users happy. Why? Because happy users is equal to more Google searches and that in turn increases more ad revenue for them. Whenever Google serving good content to their users, the users are going to keep coming back to using Google. Whenever there are more users increasing Google usage, the ad revenue is going to increase as well. By understanding this indent, google conserve more relevant results. This intent is incredibly important for us to match. If you're not, if your post is not matching indent, it won't rank because Google clearly understand that is outside of the scope of what user want. You're not building your container inside the scope of what a user in ten days. In turn, Google is going to keep your results away from the user side. How to satisfy user, indeed, best thing you can do is Google your keyword. Before writing, like I have mentioned just previously in this lecture, look at what other people have written about this search term. And what are the search engine results are actually filled with? What kind of content is filled? Because Google is pushing results that match that user intent. Look to add organic results. People alpha ask related searches. If you go through all the sections of search engine results page and you gain a good understanding about what the Google is trying to show to the users. Because Google doesn't want to show something that is not matching the user intent. So you'd be getting agreed understanding of the user intent just by taking a cook scratch, quick scan through the search engine results page. It will help you understand who is searching, what problem they want to see answered, and what type of content is ranking. With this knowledge, you will be very cool and very knowledgeable about what to write and how to target your users. This is a great step going forward. And also understanding the primary and secondary intent. Primary intent immediately addresses the users question or problem. Like, if someone is writing about stock market, how to invest in stock market? The easy answer is opening a trading and demat account. Because that is how you invest in stock market. That is the primary indent. Most importantly, but don't bury the lead, right? If you just throw what the user wants right away and think that ease enough, no secondary intend to answers the next ten questions. People want to see, what is trading account, what is demand echoed, how they are used? What is the difference? Where can I get creating a demat, account? What is the limit of balance? How to buy actually stocks through them? There are a number of things users might not know, particularly for beginners who have no idea about treating a demat account, they are just clueless about how to use them. You can target the secondary intent by going through these next ten questions. Supplemental content to create in-depth blog posts. When you start addressing these, these additional concerns of your users, you'd be willing to write in-depth blog posts. This is what exactly users and Google wants. This is a great start for satisfying user intent and understanding what user intensities and how to match it. A go ahead. Building something of content. Right now. Your job is to actually go through the course because there are a number of things that are needed to consider before actually getting your hands into writing content. Although we have understood the major ten steps of it. That is about writing. Here, how, what to write, and how to target your users is extremely important because like we have learned in the keyword research masterclass, if you are writing content for something that the users are not searching for, what is the point of it? What is the point of ranking for search terms that the users are not looking for. Wait until you actually get the knowledge about writing content. Thank you very much guys. 11. #10 Understanding User Satisfaction: Hello guys. Understanding user satisfaction. The previous lecture we have talked about satisfying user intent. Here. Standing the user's satisfaction, intent and satisfaction are two different things. One is what the people are searching for. Next is whether they are satisfied with what they have searched and came for it. Let's go ahead and learn about how to satisfy and understand their satisfy. What is it user satisfaction, why user satisfaction matters? Whereas SEO, how to meet user satisfaction? These are the outlines for our lecture. Content that satisfy the user intent. Like we have said earlier, user intent plays a huge role. Whether your content is something Google would like to push up or not. Because content that doesn't terrify the user and user intent is not really useful at all for Google to show it to the users. Because ultimately your content has to serve the user. People have to come to know. But something they have a pain point. That is the intent, which is what they're trying to address. Google is trying to address if your content is not matching with debt, what is the point of serving it to the users? Content that satisfies user intent is incredibly important for us to build three main valuable trait or a content to match. And that is why user intent. One has to be comprehensive. But two, it has to be valuable. And by three, has to be interesting. Comprehensive in the sense it has to cover all the details that are irrelevant. Also highly important. The content you are publishing for the topic that you're targeting, for the term that you're targeting asked to cover, like we have said, primary and secondary intent. So that your post is something people won't be needing to go and read somewhere else. You have to maintain that level of comprehension it. But to valuable. Just because we have said to maintain the primary and secondary indent. Don't swim away from the core profit or target that you are trying to address. That will make your post decrease in value. I have to keep your posts with valuable. Number three, interesting content. Interesting content in the sense. Interesting is mostly dependent upon how you write rather than what you write. If you maintain a conversational tone, having a one-on-one conversation with your reader while writing. That will keep the user hooked onto your content because it is trying to talk to them rather than simply reading it. When you can maintain this level of, what do we say, this level of? Here in writing content. It is obviously going to have a tremendous amount of success. Google will be watching how a reader interact with your page. Someone who's coming to your page and leaving it quickly. They're not going to push your content or take your content as something valuable. Users, readers have to see your continuous body and they have to spend some time on your content. This reason alone, it can also be comprehensive, valuable, and interesting. Even if you write a post that is valuable and comprehensive but not interesting, users are going to take it as boring and they're gonna leave. Ultimately understand this content is everything. No matter whatever target tone you're trying to rank for, no matter how many backing to my deck wire, if your content is not valuable, if your content is not comprehensive, it is not serving the users in the appropriate manner. You're not going to see good results. Content is everything. Why user satisfaction Midas for SEO, google measures however reader interact with your peers, might be about the time that the person is spending. This might be how he is interacting with your page, where he is clicking, whether he is spending more time on your site after reading your article. There are a number of things Google measures how I read it interacts with your page, although they might not, most not confident, but mostly they might not track the user details or your blog details, but they will definitely track a good amount of Measures that measure good amount of factors that can give them an understanding of whether to push your post up through the rankings based on user interaction with your page. This is the reason user experience is crucial. Users are not satisfied your content. Google will drop you in the rankings. Ultimately, Google wants to sell the best content for their users. If your content is not really interesting, valuable or comprehensive, or something that the user might not find it valuable. Or the indent is not matched or it is not satisfiable. Google will drop you in the rankings. How to meet user satisfaction? Ember one epic, long form content. This is a great important step. Cannot simply write a post that is, lesson content and lesson words, lesson value and expect it to be successful. Have to write a big long form content. Your content has to be well-formatted. Well formatted in the sense it has to have good in-depth branch sense heading one, heading to heading three. The right leg points, numbered lists. The way the content is presented has to be well formatted so that the user will understand it well. And also the algorithm will understand that you have taken enough care in building the article. Enjoyable reader experience. This is what I say about hearings as keeping it interesting. When i example would be Nerd Fitness.com. If you go ahead and read any article in node fitness.com would be incredibly interesting. You read a smart enjoy the way they presented their country. They would be showing you everything there is to know about a topic but everything, but keeping all the, what they have to say in an enjoyable experience. Then engaging copyrighting, engage in copywriting is similar to what I have said. Ready to experience the way you write, keeping it in a conversational tone, one-on-one conversation. This is incredibly important. Anything to keep your reader on the page. You have to do certain things like the beginning of the post. The post when the subject is changing from one topic to another or giving a lot of views, you have to make sure that your content is keeping the user hooked onto the page and the way you're presenting it has to be friction-less. These, these things can incredibly important, improve the value of your posts, the way users and Google would read your post. Have your content match the user intent and satisfy the user intent. And it is going to incredibly improved rankings and also the readership of your content. With this, I hope you have understood the user satisfaction. Let's get to the next lecture, guys. Thank you. 12. #11 Avoid Bad User Experience: Hello guys. Until now we have learned about user intent. How to match user intent to satisfy user and understanding the user satisfaction. Now, we are going to learn about bad user experience. Prioritizing the user intent and satisfying the user is incredibly important. At the same time, we must also possess the knowledge about what makes a user turnoff, what will ripple the user intent, and how can we avoid it? We want our users to illiquid our content. We want them to be curious about what we are going to provide. This is incredibly important for your long-term success. Let's learn about it. Today, our outline will be Google's utmost priority. What is it? User experience. Then we are gonna learn about excessive ads placement and then aggressor pop-ups. And then we're going to learn about advertisements that block your content. And it will give you a feel of spammy site. Later on we're going to, I'm going to give you some action steps to take on which will improve view of users on your site. Let's get ahead. Google's utmost priority is user experience. There is one big important job Google has, that is to show most relevant and useful content for every search term. If you look at Google's website, the predominant tool is the search engine. Might be Gmail, there might be out maps, there might be new, different number of things that Google provides, but the dominant tool that users want to use is search engine. It takes at least 90% of the sites. Focus is on search engine. When user comes to the search engine and types of query and looks for it the results. Google wants to show the most relevant and useful content for every single search term. It is not like the prioritise only few such that for any search term that the user wants to look into, they wanted to provide the most relevant and useful content. It is not enough to provide content that is relevant to the subject, but also something that the user or the reader will gain some value. It will be useful for them. As in accessing your content, google will drop your ranking. If you are making your content. Having access to content is making to friction. Which means if the user wants to read something on your site and you're making it too difficult for them to read it. If there is more friction than compared to other websites, or even within your site itself, it is going to decrease rankings who didn't Google. Some examples would be excessive ads optimize and affiliate links. You have to do a very pleasant experience. Users are not going to have a good understanding or a good respect to your site if you're making it tough for them to access your content. Let's learn about excessive ads placement. The number one thing is do not block your content. Your content is the most important thing within your site. Users are actually coming to your site for the sole purpose of accessing your content. If you're blocking it, then it is just a waste of time. All your effort in producing the content building the site is just flushed it through drain when you're actually blocking your content. Add thrive or media when users who are fine because add thrive and media wine are excellent, ad published networks. They are going to take care of what, what kind of practices in advertisement will turn off the users and develop why did they won't be letting you do something like that. Users who are following at driving media will be fine. If you are someone who is using gadgets and do not. I recommend do not. Users come to read your content, not for AJJ. You're not building Craigslist. Understand that? If you are if you're thinking that ads will do more revenue, yes, sure. I understand this. Consistent driven. You can only be generated by sites that are putting the users in the friend because more users are going to come to your site. Then aggressive pop-ups. Like I had said, it is all about user experience. From 2022, page experience is vital for ranking. It is one of the most important factors that Google has introduced within the search algorithm for ranking. When our Page is not giving good experience for the users. Obviously it is going to deplete its rankings. You have to maintain pleasant experience, like I have said, the one which makes the user wants to navigate through your site, the one which makes the users scroll to your site and access your content and go through other content material within your site. Aggressive popups is equal to dissatisfied users. It will increase the boundary. You will see high bones, right? And pogo sticking goes ticking is similar to like, I will tell you, what is pogo sticking? When a user visits your site from the search engine? Results. If he or she exits your site and still looks within the search results for other web pages, that is when your site will be focused DECT the reason after visiting your site, the user is not satisfied and he wants to access some other content still more. Your sights clearly use idea that it is not satisfied, it is not good enough. That is, when pogo sticking happens, subscribes and sign-ups are important, but you have to balance that with user experience. You cannot just simply force the user to give their e-mail address. That doesn't work. And it's not a good practice. You have to make them understand that your site is of value and actually maintaining a contact with your site will be helpful for them. That is, when the user will be trusting you to give their email address or contact information to you. You have to balance that we do is your experience at the blocker content user field of spammy site. Well, although content is incredibly important, readers are going to have a field based on your design. You have to have good design. Cannot negotiate on this. You cannot just say, I haven't taken care for design, but my content is good. Although it is true, people are going to have a very quick emotional response based on the kind of design you show. And aggressive at giving an awful mobile experience. Full-page overlays. This is not the kind of thing that people want to see. Aim to provide a clean, frictionless really experience. The one which makes the user wants to actually have your content will want to come back to your site. That is the kind of experience you want to provide. Here are some action steps. Number one, the review your site on both desktop and mobile for user experience. Ignored if you have bought ads, pop-ups are notifications that block your content and which that makes user get interrupted when reading your content. Work to fix these things. Any other issues that you might find. I'm going to give you a good example of aggressive pop-ups and everything. There is a site Daily Mail, which we all are pretty much aware of. Let me just access this article and you will see the number of pop-ups and advertisements that are going to be displayed. And see here it is. Our advertisement. Here is does another advertisement. The content is way below here. The already have a pop-up here. If I scroll here is another advertisement. You can see Daily Mail dot core dot UK is one of the most prominent website. But the number of advertisements that are here are too much. Content itself is pushed down below, below the half of the page. This is not the kind of experience you want to give to your user. Advertisements or secondary content is the primary. You have to put your content before you can show the advertisement. I don't think people actually visit this site as much as they used to, but still it's one of the prominent. Make sure that you're not having these kind of issues within your site. Provide a pleasant user experience. With that in mind, let's get to the next lecture. Thank you very much guys. 13. #12 Create Epic Content: Hello guys. Now we're gonna learn about creating epic content. Content is king. Understand that we're building a blog or a website that is based on content, people are going to approach your side for the sole purpose of solving some kind of issue or problem within their life using the content that you are providing. Your content has to be epic. The reason internet is also is already filled with a huge, huge, in large amount of content from all, everybody turning every topic. But how do you emerge as a leader within them? There will be a number of competitors to your site. People trying to get good ranking within the, within a particular niche. Just as you, the way you compete with them is by content as the first priority. There are a number of things where we can outrank other people, but content should be your topmost priority. Let's learn about how to create epic content. Outline will be body's epic content and a skyscraper philosophy. These are two important things which we are going to talk. Epicondyle. There are three important trait, rare content to be a big, number one, comprehensive. One brand too in the sense, not just a long text blocks, but text that is so varied. And texts that covers all of it are pretty much most of the content or something that will cover the user intent. And it will answer a few more. Like I have said, the primary and secondary intent that will cover the primary and secondary intention board is what we can say as comprehensive content. You must be careful about that. But that is one important thing to note is about comprehensiveness. Just because the requirement of having a long articles doesn't mean that you just have to stuff it with. That doesn't make any sense. You have to make sure that your content is actually valuable. Number two, resourceful. This can be viewed in a minute different ways. One, your expertise. If you're some kind of fitness trainer, if you're writing something about a work curt or if you're writing about diet being a resistor nutritionist, there'll be greater, great way to show your resourcefulness. And number two, whenever you're building an article, make sure that you cite all the resources when you are claiming about certain facts and informed opinions. That is a great practice for indicating the resourcefulness within your article. Number three, valuable less. Your article must possess certain value with meaning. When someone visits your content and consumes your content, it has to make some kind of difference within their state of mind and their life. If you're a doctor, medical practitioners, medical practitioner, and you're giving some kind of medical advice, it has to be valuable so that someone who is having a health issue when the consumer content, it has to either reduce the stress, reduce the anxiety, or panic they have, or actually provide some kind of actionable steps of solution. We'll get rid of something they're dealing with or provide some kind of advisors suggestion that will bring some kind of difference. If you are a fitness trainer and providing workout tips, it has to be in such a way that people who are trying to accomplish some weight-loss goals are some fitness goals or some kind of the way they want to enhance their body and their health than their fitness levels. The content that you're providing must use some kind of, must bring some kind of difference within their lives. That's an epic content. But then it has to satisfy the user edited. Like I have mentioned many dance, you cannot just overlook this fact that user intent is extremely important no matter what highly competitive topic and the one that is more sort of two topic you're focusing on. If your content doesn't match and satisfy the user intent, there is no point in producing it because maybe we'll rank for it now, but soon you are going to deplete in rankings. Your site rankings are going to plummet. You're going to experience breakdown. The reason being Google one content that is going to satisfy the user intent. Like I said, it's utmost priority is user experience. Great written content and visual elements. Whenever you're writing content, don't just make it boring, right? Make it interesting. People can read along forms of text, textbook or some kind of article or any way. If you want to add an element where they're going to have, they're going to evoking their emotional response is incredibly important because that will make them stick with you. Like any three-hour video can be regarded as a movie. But when something is having a story and something is having elements of elements of story like emotion, action, drama. These kinds of things will elevate the experience, which is what makes a blend. Boring three-hour video and rectangular movie. That is what makes a difference in a similar way. You don't want just simply to throw a research paper. Alright? You want to provide content in such a way that it is formatted and written in very pleasing manner. When you add visual elements like images or videos, or just for icons or images, the appropriate way in the appropriate manner, in such a way that it's going to evoke human emotions. It is going to create a great user experience. Alright? Make sure that you keep these things in mind. Creating a big content is extremely important for you to rank high. Maybe you can draw great backends with relationships. Maybe you are just bringing a lot of people through email and all of that. But the sole purpose of SEO is to actually rank high within search engine results. That is key for your success. And epic content, content that is going to rank high spending that Google and the users see valuable is extremely important for you to produce. Skyscraper philosophy. What is it? The first rule is see what is ranking and create a better post. Whenever you're trying to target a search term, something that the user might find it as something that the user might be looking for are a lot larger number of users are looking for within your niche. You went to rank for the target keyword. You have to look what is already ranting and create a better post. Provide great value in your article. You see I'm not just saying provide value. Specifying provide great value because most of the articles that are actually ranking within Google are not in, not obsolete or something that is not valuable. They are actually producing good content. But if you want to rank high above them, you have to provide great value. There is no negotiation with debt. Then some ways where you can improve your value, where you can improve how you are providing value is longer content. You have to provide comprehensive resource will end valuable content in the longer format. Number two, better graphics. Like I have mentioned, visual elements are going to evoke human emotion. You incorporate that into your content strategies. It will be amazing. Then custom video. Lot of times people might try to embed a YouTube video, which is fine. But providing custom video, we'll actually make sure that everybody understands that you are having a great commitment. Your work. It also makes sure that they understand. Alright? This side is having content all of their own. They're producing content in such a quality manner that we can consider them as an authority. Creating mediocre content is equal to waste of time. Yeah, if you provide mediocre content, the person who is providing one great article will actually have much more success than you. So if you're trying to just paste through publishing articles by providing mediocre content. It's better not to do it at all because it is going to result in frustration. Waste of time. At least target one article and make sure that it is actually very, very good. That is a great way to see some initial success. These in mind, make sure that you're following these principles when you are trying to create an article for your site. Although we're going to see how to write, again, I'm going to give you practical knowledge about writing. I'm going to target a keyword within my niche in my blog, and I'm going to publish a post. You're gonna see the whole process of how from selecting a keyword that you can rank for publishing the content goes out. You're gonna see the entire workflow. Thank you very much guys. 14. #13 Researching and Outlining: Hello guys. Now let's understand how to create an outline that is going to fit well for blog posts. In previous lectures where I have told you about the introduction of writing. I have given you in a little bit of overview about how to create an outline. Right now, we are actually going to create an outline. You're going to see the entire workflow that is necessary to create an article that can be published in a blog. The, Let's go ahead and do that. Right now, my target keyword is tempo squat. I want to rank for this keyboard within Google search engine rankings. I need to write an article that can be optimized to rank for this keyword to my entire content. As to be focused on reducing comprehensive, resourceful, and valuable content that matches the user intent and also satisfies it. Those are some traits that my article has to have. Let's go ahead and understand that. The word tempo squat is a workout. It is a workout option that someone can choose. Well, one of the squatting techniques. Let me tell you why I have chosen this. If you want to learn about how to do keyword research, you can go ahead and take my keyword research masterclass, go into my account and you can see, see, find that and take that class where I have talked extensively about keyword research and how to choose keywords. Now I'm not going to go through all of that, but pretty decent picture. I'm gonna give you a stamp or squat within the fitness. Initially. It has only about 1000 searches per month. That is a good, little good, solid area where you can target. You can see here I'm using Uber suggest the search engine difficulty is only about 32, which is good for me to rank. Come down here. C, draw the backlinks here. This is a good start because you can see I'm going to draw a mosque. Which will give me metrics about, alright. We have Uber suggest that one as, let me just temple squared this as d of 35. This has the of 3145532036. The six, most of them are within 35. Derange. That is a good target even if you're a beginner blogger. I've chosen this reason because it is good. It has decent amount of search volume. Such difficulty of only 32, which is also less than 35. That is a nice area where I can target with a beginning blog. The blog that is fresh. I can target these kinds of keywords. Have chosen. That target keyword is tempo squat. Right now I'm not so worried about my title or my headline or what my heading will be for my blog post right now I just want to say, I'm writing about tempo squared. That's it. The next important thing for us is to actually create an outline. Like I have said initially, while looking to match your user-interface, you can gain a lot of insights and knowledge about automates the user intent and what outline to create so that it would fit right to rank in Google search is to actually examine the search result itself. So you can go through these articles which are already ranking in the top ten, the Google search engine results. And understand what they have done to rank over there. Just go through the blog posts and understand, alright, these people have gained a good exposure for this keyword to this blog post. What, what are the things that they have succeeded in providing that made them bring here? Post. Also the same time you can bring your own insights and try to create a post that doesn't cover whatever these people have done, which is going to improve your post. You have to consider what they have done and what they have missed it too then. And you have to create a sweet spot. We're following that you will be able to rank for this keyword as well. I'm going to go to the first article. Let's see Down reasons to do tempo squareds plus how to program it. Here they have given a little introduction about keyword tempo squat about what makes them so useful. They're bringing the tempo squatting to use here. They're showing what is the tempo squat. How to read the tempo means the kind of training that goes back squat. Reasons why you should do temples. They have given that certain reason and they have elaborated why tempo score autism. And now they're showing how to perform a tempo squat with all the warm, giving the proper form, giving some dips. This is a great article. There is a great article really covered everything that is yet didn't know about it. If I wanted to draw insights from, let me just list. I'm going to say tempo squat. Then what they have done providing are adding value or you are useful. To make this reasons why you shouldn't do. Please. Certain individual or trainee would go different phases at different diamond. The way they can perform in their model of reps or set or the kind of wheat taken bear will be different based on the phase of training. That is something we need to learn as well. And have some frequently asked questions. Let me see. Done really helped me. Let me just go to the next. Learn how to do it in tempo, squat. It. You can see they did not provide good enough content. But still they are ranking because of two reasons. One, they have high domain authority or at least a reasonable decent domain authority. And number two, because they have, I guess mostly because they have in-house or video candidate. You can easily drank this article. Because look at it, look at the content. They don't have anything. We don't even need to go through. We don't even have to scroll down. You can easily outrank this. There is no way to do that easily. I'll drag this means about 549 visits you can simply gain by writing an article for Temple Square, reasonable by a 149 visits. Let me just go through this. Squat radiations to break lactose. In both squats. Squats. Cluster set. Whereas this, you can see this article is ranking for tempo squares, although the main focus is not temples, courts. They're trying to show you how to break plateau, squat. And one relation is ten per squat. Yet there's still ranking for this is one. Another example. Ranking for this keyword with only targeting it. If you can write an article that is targeting ten postcards, it will be much easier for you to rank for it. Let us go to the next row. Then put training can progress your workout. Unimportant thing is they haven't yet done per squat dead the training. Look for that key word. There is 0 keywords with Temple Square. Simple, they have about 55, about 14. This pop-ups. Italy scores. We can say we can pretty much say that although this might not be having done postcard as written the article, this article falls into that category because during watering can pour training which is also having squat. Very useful article for someone who's looking to do ten plus quarter learn about tempo squat. You can actually gain a lot of insights to this article. Let's go ahead and learn about this article. To understand this article. They're also telling about learning are breaking a plateau. I mentioned here, if you have hit a plateau in your lifting, wanted to get stronger or learned to control the weight on the board. Tempo training is the method for you. We have already seen another article mentioned tempo squatters while the radiation per squat techniques and break, break the plateau. Tempo training is a great technique or grid mattered for breaking plateau. Now they are giving a great description of input training that will be given. Body's production. Impo. Greening is not called on by itself, is one part of the input range. How it works. Everybody cannot be adjusting them zones to one form of tempo training. Have to have that benefit. How to choose? Wait for template. The linear strength. Great, great outline. We can go ahead with it, but I would suggest going after all the ten articles, then get to the outline because it will serve you with a good comprehensive knowledge. And also once you have finished outlining your article, here, it is time for us to get knowledge about. Already. Don't possess it. Assuming you're an expert within your field, on your niche, outer, you already have the knowledge, but still, it is extremely important for you to conduct a research as part of your writing. You may be completely knowledgeable about the topic that you have chosen. But understand this, even scientists and researchers having with all the acquired knowledge, this tool sit down and research. The reason being, you might know everything but the same time, you might not have all the genome right at your hand. Now, when you're writing the article, research will upload everything that you know about this topic so that you will have everything at your hand. Like I said, like Abraham Lincoln sees, you had three overs to chop a tree. The first two hours, sharpening the x. First thing is to sharpen the x, which means bring up the knowledge that we have about this topic. Bring out the knowledge we have to go ahead and find out what there is already to know about this. So don't underestimate the research part of writing and don't overlook it, although you might be excluded, bought it, it is still very important and must be taken step. Go ahead and do your own research, not just outlining it, but also researching it. If you want to take notes, take notes. That is an amazing thing. Our earlier lectures within this course, I have already said research and also how old plenty importance of it. Do the research. Get your own note. Let's meet in the next slide. Thank you very much guys. 15. #14 Determining Keyword Competitiveness: Hey guys. Now, we're going to learn about keyword competitiveness or keyword difficulty, because desktop, after analyzing the keyword data and competitive top pages, it is not enough for us to go ahead and dig into this because we need to have an estimate about what we are trying to achieve. Now that is just going to get incredibly tough. We haven't got the keyword, the search volume, of course, Wilber suggests, did provide us with the keyword difficulty level. But we have to do our own research as well. What I'm gonna be doing here is before we had a world, I'm going to introduce you to a new dual moss. What do you have to do is you have to sign up for more, have signed up and logged in. It is a free amine. There are there are both free and paid versions. Look for the free version. Go ahead into the free SEO tools. Select most bar. You can try most. You can use this as a Chrome extension. What happens here is bar will try to get through analytics, some data and insights into search reason. I'm gonna be doing here is I'm going to take static suggest for gout. Feet. Look for it in Google. Now let's see what happens when we activate model. Here. Is it getting it? Now, we're able to see the results. Again. Turning. Now you can see calisthenics chest workout. This is the website which is ranking the top with a domain authority of 12. If you scroll down, we can see we have domain authority of 291933212718. All of these are under 35, which is a good range for us for compete with them. It is a domain authority of 83513. All of them are either 35 or 30. Load terrify India is 42. Et1. Look at it. These all sides and bow have outranked. Men's meant journal.com, which is of 81 domain authority. We have good enough potential here to rank for this keyword if we can do it in a good way. Go ahead and learn about this, why this is GAAP. Understand this. It already has five links. It is good for us to rank for this keyword if we can build them back in. Lets you understand the content. Let's look at the length of the content that they have created and an extension word counter plus it is about just over 1000 thousand words and they're able to rank for it at the number one spot. And they have also built five backlinks, which I have on the domain authority is of 12. Let's see what is the next. Have another review of 29. About only about nine. Backing bar. Here, we can say is about 2865. But still it is not dragging it. The height difference could be a lot of things. It has about nine links with the domain authority of 29. The problem may be website is being perceived. Because these people might have built great amount of credibility within, crushed, within Google end-users. And look at it. They're showing proofs. Journey and death programs is causing them to have more trustworthy users and with Google as well. But try to attain this. And you would be, we can pull up dip.com is an e-commerce website but still got a place. You can see these these not a good sign, but still their ranking with only one backlink and the domain of the overview of 33. But there is good enough potential to rank in this area. But you have to pay close attention that you need good content and you need to build backlinks to rank here the keyword competitiveness is not as high as we can say because people are ranking here with one bad day. You can see it. One backlink on backlinks, backlinks and only five back things. We need good content and the quality backlinks are bought five batting. If you can build that, you'd be pretty much good to go. You are getting at least about 2 thousand traffic, 2 thousand visitors per month for a single blog post. If you can get this. One important thing to understand here is it, it is not good to aim. Number one spot all the time. You have to understand this. Single blog posts can rank for multiple keywords. You have sometimes even hundreds of keywords. You have to target based on what is the optimization level that you want to achieve. Because you can get about 3 thousand traffic or 4 thousand and traffic from all the keywords combined. Instead of getting one or 2 thousand and traffic from a single keyword. Optimization, optimization level depends on the way you are writing your post. Which is not just out of the scope for this course, which I'm going to teach in another course, which I will be publishing in the next week. You can follow that one as well. Right now, this is where we're heading. We have understood the level of difficulty that is existing within this keyword and whether to go after it or not. If keyword competitiveness is high, which means more backlinks are required and high domain authority sites are existing within the searches, then you might refer to go after something else. You have to make sure that your judgment is right on spot and it is not being influenced by just GOT you have to be sure that the way you are making the shin, She's using data. We have analyzed or cued competitiveness. Let's get into the next lecture where we're going to learn about using Uber suggests. He would explore it. Thank you guys. 16. #15 Creating Epic Content: And go through this article of node witness. Have written extensive guide about Paleo Diet. Paleo diet beginner's guide. But what we are trying to learn from this article is understand how to create a big content. Yes, we have learned about researching. We have understood how to make an outline for our article. We have learned about learning how to choose long tail keywords and all of that. But really the most important thing here is after you have done all of it, you have to target in a very appropriate manner. It is not to be desperate about trying to rank, but to acquire all the crates endure article which will make it rank high. So that your content are simply saying Google, or the users will have no choice. But to simply reach you. You have to be the ultimate material for a certain topic. There's literally letting us know paleo diet beginner's guide, seven things to note before eating like a caveman. Very first thing is titled. What is the title? It is appropriate to topic. The next thing is, here they have a simple introduction. They're saying one of the most popular diet on planet, and I bet you have questions, get answers, soccer and not of Lego photos. In addition to helping with people online coaching program, we also great epic guide. Let me just tell you this. They're trying to address your concerns. They're saying, I bet you have questions because this is for beginners. Tapping into target audience mind. This focus, the target audience for this article is business for paleo diet, they are tapping into that and at the same time, liquid if you look down while I got onto soccer, lots of Lego photo positional. And why funny, because Lego photos doesn't fit for this topic. This is a diet and nutrition at Paleo subject. Something regarded to diet and nutrition and fitness. Lego photos or something totally different, but they're trying to keep it funny by adding LIGO photos that are appropriate for this paleo diet guide. That is an amazing way to approach communicating with your audience. Here they have given the index of this article. Certainly long articles will have this because it will make it easy for them to navigate throughout the article. Whenever you want to access certain section, you can just simply go there. Now you can see here there are mentioned, this is super long. We took the liberty of converting it into a nicely designed guide for easy consumption at the same time, look at here, not the literal consumption, unless you print it on backend. Still trying to be funny, which means being funny is not something like they're trying to show in little droplet. But actually the conversation is funny. You can simply bold this out. Again, they have a beginner's guide as something to send it in your email. Again, here there is a funny statement. Now they're giving the specific specificity. Lord another died because there are a lot of diets that are existing within the market. Each time someone brings up a new diet, it is going to be one varying down thing because do you know whether it is something useful or not? Just simply relieving the frustration. They're just trying to beginners here. This way they can really attract an audience on the post. Cdr. Having funny GIFs they have looked at here is barely Robb Wolf protecting of a 100 yard field, bringing expert opinions. Then you can see here they're bringing stat. And also this is like trying to give them access to a resource, which means citing doses. Trying to show a video format. Video guides. After video guides are trying to focus. Secondary. You can see images. You see something is usually don't often more calories and look at it. Trying to evoke them. Full scanned IEEE down the paleo diet. What do we say? Pro's and con's. Yes and no. Let us go down how they are addressing a typical day like failure. Examples and practical knowledge. The paleo diet dangerous. Simply is the periodic paleo diet dangerous here they are trying to do. There's the negative side, which means they're not just simply foreshadowing anything here. They're trying to take into everything. They're putting everything in their account. Here. They have listed out the resources and everything. That is a great way to show something very beginner. And also one amazing thing here is formatting. Particle. Great. Formatting here. Simply cannot be. All right. These are some valuable creates that this article has. We have just figured this out in ten minutes. If you can take some best guides for different kinds of topics. I mean, this is one like a fitness area related type of topic. So it is like this. If you've taken a topic from the finance industrial enrichment industrial or any kind of other related industry fashion, our personal development. The kind of traits that an article will be different based on who you are targeting. The very first thing here is tapping into target audience mind. Whenever you're writing an article, it is focused on a group of people, a certain group of people. They are your target audience. You need to answer how you're going to tap, tap into them. What kind of audience are they? And how can you write an article for them that is a really important discussion to complete, draw some information onto their faces. And keeping the conversational tone like you're talking to one-on-one person. And also make it funny because anything that is when you are just going to stick with people, if there is a long article tried to give index so that people are not going to be bogged down by where they have to run for R1 to access certain things. Mattering the target audience reactions and thoughts. Because someone who wants to solve a problem or want to learn about something, they will have a number of questions in their mind. You have to mirror them to that. You would know what they're trying to think, what they're thinking, what they're, the kind of questions are they fishing? When mirroring is simply in the sense trying to get into their shoes, in trying to understand them. This kind of area would be very, very necessary if you want to make your reader stick to manage ifs. I wouldn't say GIFs are really, really important, but whenever you are trying to make your audience to you, it is one great way to do it. Expert opinions. Expert opinions would bring sudden trust into your article. Expert opinions will show the credibility and Daughter Day to net claims that you are making. Whenever you're writing an article that needs to show something that is from an expert to acquire those kinds of resources because they will be absolutely invaluable. They will improve the value of your post or do within the eyes of a reader and also within the Google algorithm. Then citing sources and references. Factual information. Like we have mentioned these in raw importance of writing. Giving references. Bibliography is extremely important because people need to know where do you have extracted is so that they can view the genuine ID of the information. And at the same time, if you're deriving something from somebody else's information or LLC, if you're trying to borrow something which is already published by variable ordered, they can, without crediting them, would be considered as theft of intellectual property or simply putting it as plagiarism. You don't want to be buried about that. Then video guides. You have multiple ways of knowing your information or your article. It will be incredibly useful and it will be eye-catching for the user. Video guides will show how much care you have taken into developing certain things. Primary and secondary intent. Like primary intent is the main topic of an article. This is what users want to know about. Secondary indent is something that is attached to the main primary intent. But it can only be answered or it can only be can only be viewed as secondary indent. When those questions arise to the beginner, dose questions arise to the reader after they have gone through the primary intent. Appropriate images for the topic. Giving you majors will make the article much more readable. Picture speaks a thousand words, something like that. Welcome emotions of the reader. You're working emotions of the reader. It simply means trying to engage with your reader deeper level. This can only happen if you get into the shoes of your target audience and try to understand what kind of concerns they have, what kind of questions might arise into their mind? What kind of worries or concerns they might have when trying to understand or trying to solve a problem. If you can get, to, get to this deep level, people are going to consider you as valuable under the already two, they're going to trust you. They're going to have a certain respect for your blog, which will make them keep coming back again and again. Giving what ES or no answers. Which means don't just make your article lop-sided 211 phase. Not the assembly answering the positive, but also showing what are the negative implications. Or at least do they have any negative implications? Because if you just answer one side of the spectrum, it is going to leave them with vacuum in their mind. You have to make your article concrete something. They don't need to know about anything else after you have, after they have read about, read your article. The article has to be a single stop shop. Examples and practical knowledge. Giving examples and practical knowledge is immensely valuable because no matter how much theory you may throw into their face. Once you have shown an example, given a hearing, a practical idea of knowledge, a practical advice, it will simply make them open their minds and switch them to something else. Showing the negative side, like I mentioned. If you had this, this, the kind of worries and concerns are going to be decreased or formatting article. The article has to be formatted in a sense where simply saying it has to be readable. Readability has to be easy on ice, easier on mine. It has to extend in such a way that it can be easy for anyone to read. They can understand it the way it is. Formatted. Bullet list, headings, numbered lists, or additions, paragraphs making it bold, italic, or underline. All of these things are going to be incredibly help you create an article that is loaded with these things. You can really make your article and pick the kind of content might be different, but having these kind of create in your article will make it wonderful. Thank you very much guys. Let's get to the next lecture. 17. #16 Content Auditing: Hello guys. Now we're gonna learn about content audit. Content audit is an incredibly important step. It will refine your blogs. Value. Nodding single article sense. But in the sense of your entire blog. Content audit, make sure that your blog is not losing value. This current of processing techniques, this kind of approach to your blog impact in great way, it will bring your blogs value to a higher level. Let's learn about what is content audit and how to do it. What are the values we are going to gain? Let me give you an outline of our lecture. We're going to learn about what is a content audit. Why doing a content audit is important at all? We are all taking such good care and building posts and writing and creating epic content. Why is content audit important at all? Then, a few things that we have to keep in mind while performing a content audit. Let's go ahead and learn about it. What is a content audit? Number one, go through all of the posts on your site and tag them as good. Improve, consolidate, or delete. Which basically means you have to verify each and every single individual article within your blog. This is not an hour task or not a data ask. It is attached that you have to schedule batch by batch manner. If you have a 100 articles within your blog, it is not advisable to take all of them within a single day or in a weekend. That's not a good approach. What you can do is you can spread your content audit about a month on every weekend, every Friday, if that is your last working day of the week, on Friday, you can schedule about eight posts. If you have bandwidth, take more of them. You can go ahead and check 20 posts. You can spread it over five weeks. That kind of approach will leave believe some breathing room in your daily daily schedule. At the same time, it will get a lot of content auditing done it easier manner. What do you have to do is you have to go through all of the posts on your site. And when you're going through all of them, you have to decide whether they are good. They're good. All right, great. You have a nice content within that article. You can leave it like that. If not, you improve the post. I mean, it is already good, but you can make sure that it can be improved in value R1, which means you can add some images are attached video content, or add some secondary intend to content through your blog posts. If you can take that kind of measures to make sure the value is being increased. You can tag that article as improve. If you find any article or let me just save if you have written some articles that all of them are ranking for a certain keyword. Like three articles or two or two or more articles ranking for the same keyword. Look at them and find. And if you can find any kind of relevancy in them. And both of those articles seemed to be very closely related or the same article in a different manner you have written. You can consolidate those articles. For those, you can put a tag as consolidate. And at the same time mentioned with what article you want to consolidate those. Then finally, if any article is not good, any article is not epic content in a funny article is not bringing the kind of value that you expected it to bring. And it is just kind of depriving you of great content standards. Within your blog. You can simply delete it. Don't worry about deleting an article if the outcome is actually good. Alright? Because Google will also try to audit your content. And if you find any kind of bad articles, it is obviously going to have a bad remark on your site to try to delete posts that are not good. I only picked content. Second, the purpose, The purpose is to identify low-quality content and remedy it. That is the whole purpose of content audit. You shouldn't be feeling sick or you shouldn't be feeling nervous or worried about losing content. Alright, when you're deleting something, you don't feel like that. The reason being the whole purpose of content Roddick is to find low-quality content and then remedied why doing a content audit is important. Google evaluate your entire site content, like I have mentioned just now. Google will try to understand a site's value by evaluating their entire site. Continue not just taking the most valuable posts and making and thinking about them as a grading or evaluating them as a good site or not, even by taking all the bad articles within the content and thinking about are evaluating them, are grading them as bad site. They will take all of your articles into evaluation. They will try to grade your content. They have different kinds of metrics and lots of processes and procedures. Understand this, google is the most sophisticated search engine that is available. The present world. They take the search incredibly important. Each time they tried to evaluate your content, they're going to have an understanding about what it takes, what it takes for a site to be valuable. In that sense, when, whenever your site is getting evaluated by Google, lots of low-quality content can hurt your rankings. Not every site is going to have all the articles within their blog as a high-quality. That is just too much optimism. Optimism if you're looking for obviously some articles are going to be a pig. Some are going to be good, some are going to be low in quality and somewhere obviously bad. The thing about here is if you have lots of low-quality content and eventually hurt your rankings. The reason being, you have to look in the sense of a democratic manner, like the majority wins. We have too much low-quality. You're gonna lose if you have good amount of high-quality content, you can look to when you need to pick content that is competing with each other to post targeting same keyword or topic. And you have to consolidate them, right? This will give you a great improvisation of your blog. You have to pick content that is competing with each other. It cannot simply throw away. You cannot simply leave two articles with targeting same keyword at position ten. If you consolidate them in such a manner that it will be having more value, it can improve rankings. Alright, puts bragging it. Further seven article keyword or relevantly same keyword at different positions is not as good when you can have a single article that is ranking high. Tried to consolidate. Google considers every page index while evaluating your site. Every article in your post will be indexed by Google. If not, you can go ahead into search console and you can index it all by yourself. The Google considers every page indexed while evaluating your site. You have to make effort to make sure that every article that is indexed is having great content. Like I have mentioned in the previous lectures that creating a PECC content is incredibly important. You can have all the backlinks can target to certain keywords, but you do not have good content. Good about ranking because it is non-negotiable. Content is king. Everything else supports or content or to support it here, you have to have good content. Let me give you some things that you have to keep in mind. New bloggers, you don't have to take this as a strategy because you wouldn't be having such amount of articles where you have to conduct and content audit. This is a long-term project, not something you will finish overnight. They had to tackle one post at a time, one brick at a time. In such a manager you have to take it. If you're just flushing a ten articles at the same time and thinking about making improvements. It is just going to make it much more worse. So take one, posted it on one nautical at a time and see some good progress. This is a long-term project. Don't worry about making immediate progress even after you make good advancement. In terms of effort and audit, the results from content audit are going to take at least a month or month and a half to be seen in your Google Analytics. Understand the importance of content audit and make sure that you are taking advantage of it. Don't be negligible about it right? Now if you have that kind of strategy in place, it is going to greatly improve your content site. Thank you very much guys. 18. #17 Setting On Page SEO: Welcome back guys. Now we're going to learn about on-page SEO. Understood a lot about creating a pic content. But what is on-page SEO? What are the factors that are going to play a big role in impacting your SEO effort while writing content. But let's go ahead and learn about it. We have to satisfy some key factors that Google algorithm will consider while trying to rank our article within its own search result. But let's go ahead and learn about it. Although this is not a website from Google, it is from Maus. Very thorough day two on giving on-page SEO tactics. Here we can see a brief definition of on-page SEO. It is the practice of optimizing individual webpages in order to rank higher and earn more relevant traffic and search engine. On-page SEO is not about entire site or content to all, but individual webpages. Optimizing your individual web pages in order to rank higher, earn more relevant traffic in search engines. The daddy's key for on-page SEO. On-page refers to both the content and HTML source code of a page that can be optimized. So what, What the **** is optimizing HTML code? For all the non quarters? It is not something you need to worry about. It is just a way to optimize your content. To optimize the way your page is being presented, optimizing the way your page is getting loaded. All these commander on page SEO, you might not have to consider all of them to optimize at all of the stages. But you definitely have to at least consider few of them depending on your, depending on which of them play a major, major role and making your posts rank high. The very important thing is content itself, as opposed to off pages here, which refers to links and other external signals which we're gonna discuss later in the course about link building, where off-page SEO tactics and measures and factors and everything we're gonna learn about link building. But right now if we focus on on-page SEO plays a huge role. And most states here on-page SEO has changed over the years. So it is important to keep, keep up with the latest practices. There are a lot of particles here stating the on-page SEO efforts and how they have benefited each of these individuals or the businesses. You can go ahead and go through this. Ok. I have distilled into this guidelines. You can follow these guidelines. Let me just performance. Yeah, nine guidelines for your on-page SEO. Let's look at each one of them. Great title. How do you know when a title is great? Number one is to actually make sure that it is relevant. You just can't put whatever that comes into your mind as your title. You have to keep something that is relevant and something that will simply show. What we can say is the relevance of your article. What your article is about communicating in such a manner that it use the meaning of dark. At the same time. Make sure you are phrasing your title in such a way that it works the human emotions or make shoes that IT people, when they come across your article title, they will click on it. You can use Course Schedule plug-in or Course Schedule Tool, which they can analyze your headline or your title and give you a score. Better tool determine how good your title is. It is not. It will be totally responsible for me to make. If I don't tell you that always coding high is not necessary, you have to make sure that your title is staying within the guidelines of it. Number two, write a Clicquot the matter description. Meta-description is something that is shown when you're looking at your search results. And then the each title, they will be having some metadata or simply telling you what the post is about. You have to write a click worthy matter description because people are going to read it definitely the reason it is a preview of your post. We didn't billions of search results. And out of the top ten, all of them are click worthy. Don't forget that people might be influential to click on the top results. But if you can provide a good key code, the meta-description, definitely going to come to your site. Then. Using your main keyword in the first 200 words are in your first paragraph. Whenever you are writing your article. Do not worry about on-page SEO guidelines. Make sure that you have prepared your article and then optimize it. It's on-page SEO. Find the relevant area where you can put your keyword within the first 200 words or in your first paragraph. Sprinkled relevant keywords throughout your post. Like what I have mentioned about secondary intent. It is not just enough for you too. Write an article where your target to what is mentioned, but also go across like hover enough area that is surrounding your primary topic. That will give you good enough results. Like if you're writing about paleo diet to gain different areas, we'd like paleo diet versus carried, right? Paleo diet was his military indict. Obviously different from them. Like throwing some relevant keywords and bringing that kind of exposure to your article through other keywords. Also, it will improve your articles, traffic, devalue and everything. Then guideline five, DO NOT keyword stuff your articles. This is a very bad practice. It used to be done when in the initial days of blogging usually. And that is definitely not the case anymore. Google is very, very sophisticated about understanding the content and evaluating it. Dig in and understanding whether your content is actually even stuffed. Alright, it is valuable enough. Get ranked. Do NOT keyword stuff your articles. Number six, internal link your articles. This is something very important and also overlooked by most of them that they don't internal link other best articles or other relevant articles within their newly publishing article. You have two internal link them. There is a great way to improve your post-exposure. Whenever there is good internal linking structure existing within your site, google will understand that it is actually building the right appropriate manner. Number seven, relevant and credible external links. External links. Make sure Google will understand that this is actually built with careful research. There are good enough resources whenever you're linking external resources, make sure that they are actually from credible Daughter Day two sites. Number eight, optimize images and other assets like images, videos, GIFs, or any kind of files or video or any kind of embedding that you have done. Optimize those files and assets with title and alt texts and captions in description that fits with your article. This is something not really taken care of, but it actually makes sure that Google will understand that all the site assets are actually linking to something specific. Make sure that your image names are fitting in the right way. The description, alt text, and everything is integrated with the article. That is a good way to save. Number nine, ensure your content is epic, resourceful, valuable, and a one-stop shop. This can be only insured depending on the research and the way you are writing your content and outline also, this is done before you're on pages here. But the design team time, it can be checked when you are looking for your on-page SEO guidelines. If your content is not epic, if it is not resourceful, if it is not valuable, if it is not a one-stop shop. Contend with the existing within the site, within the Internet. All of these above mentioned aid guidelines are not going to improve your article to make sure that it fits in the right way. That it is actually something valuable. Before you go ahead and do the down pages, your checklist that I have mentioned here. Make sure that you are actually doing that. With these guidelines. You must have a pretty good idea about how to approach it. But I'm gonna show you my article, graph them. This is my site. You can see the, this is about quasistatic back workout. So I have mentioned here not only that, but I've given good enough description. I'm actually looking to rank for the scholar scenic backboard got right here, I have it. Carlos, backward cards within the first paragraph itself. Here. The great title is actually covered. Main keyword within the first 200 paragraphs is covered. Let me just show you the meta-description. How do I take you There? Workout. You can see here the calisthenics, backward out folks, mid and lower back muscles. Building strengthen your back and getting the V-shape. That is a grid, or at least a reasonably good enough description for people to understand what my article, that is a major description which I have covered. It is definitely pick only one wrinkle relevant keywords throughout your posts. Like you can see a beginner workout equipment you're going to work out for Gaston progression guide, intermediate, advanced workout routine. Within each of these, I have definitely sprinkled it. Good enough. Relevant keywords. You can look at the module structure, horizontal, plane, and vertical, but that is good relevant structures, relevant keywords. I've kept some affiliate things as well. We are extra special brings pull-up bar, warm-up for beginners. And inside the workout, I have actually kept relevant keywords. These workouts which people will be looking for. And I have kept them here. It's a great way to make sure that people will be understanding that this article can rank for a lot more than just calisthenics back workout. This is covered DO NOT keyword stuff here, articles that is covered, internal links. Your article. Here. You can see this is for my C here the link will be appearing predict.com calisthenics. There is another calisthenics complete. This. This is focused on calisthenics backward. Got. That article is focused on the overall calisthenics. I have included a door there, and here I have a hernia hunting that can be protruded by bad workout, bad workout techniques. And here I have given another pre-work out middle option from my own articles. This is from another credible research document that I have linked here. There is an external link, so I have covered internal and external links. I have covered one. And this is from another another. This is again from another, this is from another two to five or even more. Blue. I definitely have external links from relevant and credible sources, optimizing images and etc, which I have done mentioning. Here. Let me just open the source here. Page Source. You can see the image. Here it is the image name. We can get it as you can get it here. As you can see, calisthenics, AC workouts, dot JPG. Alt-text is also calisthenics backward, half optimize and discipline. Especially in a certain way. Other parts of my links are also optima. Selecting the location as the United States, because that is where I want my there is where I'm going to get most of my traffic, but I told it is not necessary for us. Conserve. This is asking for me to perform a security check. You can see 345 organic tea. This is a new site so it will be having you can see the amount of traffic that I'd be getting. You see, that is very good, is something we don't need to make any changes. And neutral is actually, you can use these kind of way. But I will be simply saying, simply putting what I wanted to do. This is a good article of mine. If it is good, I will be putting good. If it is bad, I will be saying improve. If you can see here it is calisthenics. What I would say, get rid of bad fat and get rid of studio PGDs to seem like a relevant articles. If I wanted to, I can say consolidate with article. That way I will know what to consolidate this way. You can go ahead and perform an SEO content audit for all of them. But try to take chunk by chunk. If someone who is having a big site, I cannot like a site with about 100 articles. You can take chunk like ten after 1010, after 1010 after ten. If it is not going to help you, don't be don't pull yourself back for deleting that article because you might have put good amount of effort initially while publishing the article. Part from writing great content, following the SEO content standard, Brian, to rank high by being competitive about the way you are writing content, the kind of keywords you're targeting. With all of this being taken care of. What is the role of back then? Why are they important at all? Let's learn about them. So the outline for this lecture is, what do we mean by links? After all? Why are links so important? And how Google creeds links back to your site? The reason, I mean, we can just simply say search engine, but we're specifying here Google, because Google is the most sophisticated search engine right now in the world. It is a one search engine that habit. It's about more than any other search engine in terms of the number of users using it. We want to optimize your, sorry, for Google. So we need to understand how Google treats links back to your site. Let's go ahead and learn about them. What do we mean by links? A link or simply a backlink is simply 11 side gives a hyperlink to another side. Simply a one-page has a hyperlink to another page. That isn't simple definition, a backlink or a link. There are both good and backlinks, which we will be going deep into this because we need to understand them. Nothing but good links. How certain breeds and characteristics to them, which will qualify them as good links. Bad links, on the other hand, will have various reasons why they're bad length. We will need to understand them before just acquiring backlinks. Wire link, so important. Google. They consider links as one of the most top three ranking factors. Apart from content, apart from on pages two and all the efforts that you're making trying to target long tail keywords still considers backlinks as one of the top three ranking factors. It is non negotiable to understand that Google, if you're trying to optimize your site for Google, backlinks are incredibly important. Good links help build up your authority. Authority in the sense, how effect to your word will be. The industry. Simply saying, a random street workout guy giving a fitness tip or no matter how good of ATP it is, you might be a little apprehensive about it, but if Phil heat goose about it, you're gonna be very serious to take the reason being he sought already TO in the bodybuilding industry. It is not just about what they are saying, but who is saying that is authority. One of the best ways for Google to analyze the quality of your site ease by your backlinks, because querying backings is incredibly hard. People need to trust you to give your site, to given link back to your site. Just to understand this, if someone is coming to you and they are asking them to promote their asking you to promote them. There are a number of things you would be considering in before making such such before doing so trailer because you want to know who you're promoting and wire promoting them, whether they are credible or not. Well, non-line the fitness industry or any industry is incredibly competitive. To build up the trust. Gaining someone's favor for you and getting a babbling is just humongous achievement. It's big task. But when you're actually acquiring these kinds of links, it will enabled Google to understand that you have a quality site based on the kind of backlinks you acquire. One of the best ways for Google to understand. It is one of the hardest things we acquired. But if you're able to knock that thing off, Google will easily consider you as a quality side. Finally, we care about backlinks because Google does. We're only trying to optimize things. Asu factors based on which Google considers, did a number of moving parts for a CEO. Focusing on all of them will make you tired. Well, simply make a burnout. We have to pick our battles. We cannot simply go after everything. We have to take care of those things which Google, Google takes care of. How Google treats links back to your site. Link is like a water. Understand this. Since we are having most amount of countries with democracy, Let's look at that. You don't need to acquire all the words to win 51% or at least 50, more than 50%. If you get more words, you're gonna really Award is nothing but having trust in a person. Understand this. Although I have said here a link is a work site one links to site two. Links are not simply like hyperlinks existing on each other side, but most importantly, the person who is running a blog trusts you. Paid is two people. Person is trusting you. Instead of seeing it as a site, links to my site, you have to see a person is trusting me, so they have my link on their side. That's why it pretty much says the site one, crusting is trusting content on side two, google is going to consider links back to your site based on the quality of the links, the wall room of the links, and the relevance. Let me just describe this quality in a sense. What kind of sites are giving you links? Because there are a lot of spammy sites and there are a lot of Daughter Day to cite. You need to get quality from authoritative volume. How many of these quality links do you possess? Mean you need to have more depending on your industry. Finally, irrelevance. You can get a quality, mean a dollar day, two links from a number of sites, but you need to get from the sites which are relevant to you, which means you if your existing within fitness industry, you have to get a backend. A lot of backings from fitness sites, not from fashion site or not from medicine sites, or medical health-related set in such a way. These are some pretty important details. I have given you a good description about what are linked via the important and how Google creates links back to your side. Let's go ahead and learn more about link building. Thank you guys. 21. #20 5 Characteristics of Great Link: Hello guys. Until now we have learned about what bad things are wired important. Now it is time for us to understand the characteristics of a great link. Previously I have mentioned there are good links and begged bad links. But what makes a link good one, or a great link? There are five characteristics which are very important for you to keep in mind. Let me tell you what are the lesson outline is. Number one, do follow links to editorially placed links. Number three, in content links. Number four, links from sites with high authority. Number five, links from sites relevant to your own. These are, these are some important five characteristics that are very, very important. Which makes a link very valuable. Let's go ahead and learn about this. I'm going to go through each of these five characteristics. Now, very comprehensive manner. Stephen. Number one, do follow links. Follow links. Blue means Google Louis value this type of links higher. There are two types of leaders do follow a nofollow. This is totally decided by the way, the person who is actually linking to your blog will decide whether it is due follow nofollow. You won't have much of a controller or whether you're getting which type of link. These really important for us to gain do follow links because Google will value this. Next. Most links or do follow by default. Whenever a person is going to place a link to your site within their blog, in their site. It is generally a do follow link by default. One who sometimes people will specify these are not following. Like if you get a link from Huffington Post, it'll be enough. Follow all the links from Huffington Post or print. Pretty much Forbes as well will be no following because they will be specifying the links has no fault. But regular article cites will tend to give you a default length by default, when you do not need to worry too much about block comment and sponsored, simply nofollow. These are easy ways to gain a link. Blog comment in the sense whenever you see an article, getting a link within the article is one different thing. And actually getting links from the comment section below the article is another thing. You can actually gain good amount of links from the comments section. But that is not a great place to get one block comments or one important. Then sponsored posts. Once it posts a run. When someone is trying to promote their product line, we have something people to, when you want to gain customers. Going to be sponsored Bush. In these kinds of situations. And these will be no followings. By default. Like I said, the blogger will usually given no follow your link. This one still have some value. Not take this as something that doesn't have anybody. Google will consider all your links when trying to evaluate your site. Just to make sure that you understand do follow links will have higher value, more prioritized when compared to know following. That is, that is the key. Number two door really placed links. That other side's us out in payment. My expansive Bush sponsored links. These are links which needs emit. It is not something which is very referred by Google. Google wants to show links that are pleased editorially like without any payment. Links, not just any blogger can sign up and post. You have to get earned links. Never pay for links. Google repair, analyze this. This is a big advice for you. A lot of times people will be trying to communicate with you. They will approach you with. With some great offers, but do not be not even get the thought of negotiating with them. Do not even get the thought of I undertake their offer no matter how convincing it maybe never pay for links. A lot of times some people who are working for Google themselves will be trying to give you an offer, either to a phrase book group altering e-mail. This is just the way to get to know which aids are being for links. Because just it would get an idea of you. And they'll start penalizing. Bad links. Don't get associated with spammy site. There is a great feature of disavowing links within any CO2 and you can use it where if you have any spammy links within your site, you can approach the Disavow links tool and you can remove all the links by mentioning, don't be worried about removing bad links plus ingestion. The way we have learned about content audit and deleting posts which are no longer useful. It is also interestingly accessible. And it is also interestingly greed. When you actually remove links from spammy site to do that. In content links. To avoid being too exclusive in your bio. Lot of times people will be posting links within bile. It is a, it is a powerful thing, but the one which has more impact as the languages given the content Eigen the article itself. Links within content are much more powerful. If guest posting without much trouble. To get in content link without much trouble. Yes, posting is one of the most incredible way for you to gain links. Don't have much trump. Mean usually orders or editors for the other side might be saying we will be providing an excellent value or you can negotiate with them to get a link within the content. Don't try to exert more pressure on this, but just make a request to get a link. The content that is much more advice. Links from sites with high authority. Remember one, links from high authority sites carrying more weight. Like I have, a higher authority will increase the value of link. The quality of link will be hard to try to get things from higher authority. It is not that Laura dirty sites wouldn't be as valuable, but then linked from a mediocre or lower won't be as good as one link higher than ideally, to get links from sites that have the same or more other than just a guideline. This is just a guide. But to get more links from sites that are higher than you. Get a quick check. Use Moser Link Explorer, or you can also try to use most domain authority tool or the Chrome extension that breed. They have very valuable and useful links from Laura decides to won't hurt unless they are spam. Like I had mentioned in the previous side. Sites are nowhere near valuable. Links from Laura authority sites will not hurt you. They're span of gain that thanks from sites are relevant to your own. Google is all about relevant. You just cannot, no matter how higher authority it maybe, no matter whether it is editorially placed in content placed, and they do follow link. If it is within a site that just doesn't belong to your niche, won't be as effective as a slink from site that is relevant to your niche. Google is all about relevancy links from sites within your niche carrying more weight. If you are in the fitness industry, getting a link from fashion or business industry will not be as valuable. And you get a link from actual fitness industry website. Naturally. Does it makes sense that decide would link to me, ask yourself this question and it will lead to much more better results. These are some great characteristics for you to understand about acquiring. Great. Thank you very much guys. Let's get to the next week. 22. #21 Outreach Mindset: Outreach mindset. Whenever you are trying to get an outline, simply means a site linking to another side now actually means a person is trusting another person. They're trying to get a credit. Whenever you're trying to get it back and you have to communicate with someone. These requests you to read. Before you get into outreach, you have to prepare your mind shape that will enable you to handle them. Ups and downs of it, because outreach is not an easy thing. People on the Internet are very aggressive TO easy to get. Going to be very volatile and highly competitive. Prepare your mindset. Let me just take you through the outline, will be talking to other bloggers and some similarities to joining group board. Again, Pinterest. Number three, rejection will happen. You will be white to learn how to handle it. Let's go ahead and learn each one of them. The number one talking to other bloggers and site on the build high-quality links. You have to be in touch with other bloggers and titanate and webmaster. These are the people who will be responsible for giving a link back to your side within their site. Like I have said, it is not simply about a site linking to other side, but a person on the other end of the site brushing with you and your content. This is incredibly hard to gain. First is incredibly hard to get. So you have to build relationships where time and that will propel you to build links rapidly. But sometimes you just have to cold prospect. It's asking for something. I tried to ask when guestbook hearing an infographic all the time, you just scan to be asked something and get it, but you have to give something to provide value. Tried to provide something which will make them, which will make them feel like they have to do something for you to provide value. It will be incredibly useful for you to ask. Some. Don't be afraid to put your content out there in the world. So whenever you are trying to publish something, trying to reach out to someone, it is going to be a little nervous, is going to be a little awkward. Maybe you will have experienced imposter syndrome. But all of these can be, all of these can be only driven away. And you can win all of this only by actually taking small, small steps. You have to be very free about posting your content and also going out, reaching and go to the bloggers. This say it is not good. They say your container is not good. That is one good way of file to gain feedback and improve your country. But instead of getting in the fear of rejection, are getting a negative comment. You can go ahead and put it out there and try to improve. Sitting, sitting in your room and never reach out to anybody. You will be never getting any backlit. Reach out to someone. Don't be afraid of the kind of results you're gonna get a start working on it. Similarities to joining group, but, but if you have, if you have experience in joining Pinterest group virtually it would be much familiar with. You. Have to treat the same way as you request to join a Pinterest. Very similar strep mean you would be listing got some Pinterest group boards and checking out a request to all the group board owners. Whichever one will be willing to give a place for you in that group board, you can actually work with them in a similar way. You will be breakdown of a typical group board and email and how it is similar to blogger outreach ratio. You will be listing out bikes that are linked to give you tasks to publish content. Take a list of them, a protocol of them with your content areas, also, leaving room for content ideas from them. That you will be helping them. This way you will be having an initial prospects. You can reach out to then from there. Depending on the response back to you, you can actually start working with them. Rejection will happen. It is a numbers game. Understand this. Online industries are competitive, highly competitive. Depending on the kind of niche that you are selecting within the online. Competitiveness can increase a lot more. You have to be prepared for getting rejected a lot of time. It is a numbers game. Sometimes you might not get a reply at all. It just totally fine. But still you have to keep moving forward, try to prove your approach to find new prospects. Keep looking for it. You can also do it in such a way that tried to look for your competitors and find out where they are getting links from pi to reach out to those people who have already given links to your competitors and try to gain links from them. Keep going and focus on wins. A few dozen links can bring huge difference. You might see articulators are cited thousands of links. Don't worry about that. You can build your site to that level slowly and slowly. But try to get a few dozen links in the initials. And it will generate huge amount of growth for your book. That is about this is, these are some incredible things that you have to keep. Let's get to the next slide. 23. #22 Links you don't want to be part of: Logos. Loads to learn about the links that you don't want any part of. I have already mentioned trying to get in the sites offer spammy links. Don't be partnering are associated with spammy site. But there is still something else to learn about links. The two don't want to be any part of. Let's look into that. The lesson outline is Google penalizes the link schemes itself and about that wide and what are the things? Link swapping. Also avoiding fever link packages. These are some things you have to be very careful about. Let's look into that. We will penalize us links. We will guidelines on link scheme. Awesome link guidelines provided by Google have to be abide by because bad things are an incredibly important ranking factor. It is top three ranking factors provided by Google. Whenever you're trying to acquire backings, Google is going to be very critical about it because it affects the ranking matrix, the entire search result. There are some guidelines provided by Google. Anything you do to purposely manipulate Google algorithm is just a simple disasters way to bring your side down. Don't underestimate distribution. Research into how they have done extensive research in how to provide grid. So you have to be very careful about. Google will penalize a link schemes and the index here side. Whenever you're participating in any kind of link scheme. Google is already having a lot of knowledge about getting your links from these kinds of skin. It is going to penalize you. Then it will totally Dean next year's Whiting paid links. You do blogger outreach on people who will ask you to pay for a link. This is not a good approach. Some may even offer to pay you to post on the next change is also not a good. You have to understand if they're selling links to you, Who else had the same number of people. That's not a good way to vital links because we will be keeping an eye on these kinds of sites whenever they're getting an understanding of link acquired from my site, is selling links. They will simply understand that you have body spray. You have that wide debt. Whiting link swap deliberately links rapping with other bloggers to integer. Sometimes we will receive seeing on websites like be asking for acting in exchange of giving a background. These are not things sometimes reciprocally habitable end line, but shouldn't be a large part of building your existing within us. Yesterday. You will be often plant. Links will be reciprocal. That is inevitable. First within an industry, it is usually happen. But derivative of your links are acquired in this one, it will affect you and your time building real links in a professional manner, but building relationships with site owner. That will be incredibly important. Writing fever link packages. Do not buy link packages anywhere else. These links will definitely not helping. Have to remember the five characteristics of great backing. I haven't mentioned. You have to abide by those linked packages. Had not heard the adult. They might promise you number of bad things. But even after acquiring all these backends, sometimes you will be just getting no growth or very reduced state following the characteristics of the ham in shunt or a grid. Moving forward with actually been a lot more good reason. These are some link. The two don't want to be any part. Dilute that. Thank you very much. Good. 24. #23 Understanding Competitor Backlinks: Hello guys. Now we're gonna learn about understanding competitive bad things. The previous lectures, at some point I haven't mentioned if you do not know where to start, you can study about your competitors the way they have acquired buttons and use the same procedures. Retarget your prospects. Let's go ahead and learn about it, understanding competitive backlinks. Today, our lesson outline will be number one, higher quantity plus quality links is equal to higher rankings. Number two, if they're getting a link, Why can't you? Number three, understanding linkable asset types and topics. These are some things with true are going to go after. Number one. The more links you have from good website, the higher you will rank good websites in the sense the ones which are a dollar today to have high domain score and are actually producing content that is valuable. These are some qualities or traits that I didn't cite need to have to be cited as good site or a good website. You can get more links from sites like these. You will rank higher. Number two, if your competition is getting links, the two don't have, they have a leg up about you. If you are trying to get a link from some reputable website and you are trying very hard to eat. You're trying different approaches, but nothing seems to work. But your competitors have got some edge or you, because they're getting a link. This is when you have personal relationships with the other person on the website. Your competitor might be in touch with them. They might have a long-standing relationship which you don't have right now. Well, in these cases, what do you have to do is you have to stop working for a link and start working for relationship with the person on the other side, you have to build a relation of a partner of like building a community. In this way, you'll be able to try, you'll be able to get some things. And these kinds of relations will not only be for backings, they're gonna be so valuable in your journey. If they are getting a link, Why can't you? Number one, knowing competitor links opens up a lot of opportunity. So simply is a vast amount of sight. Filtering through each one of them is gonna take you forever to generate a list of prospects. But if you already have your prospect's, sorry, if you have already have a few competitors in your mind, if you can study their backlinks, it will open up a lot of opportunity. You have good enough idea about who to go after. And most probably you will get a link. You can usually pitch the same blogger with a related topic or idea. If you're trying to approach and blogger with the aspect of guest posting, you can propose a similar topic or related topic or an idea to them and also leaving a breathing room. Because sometimes the person on the other side might have some kind of requirement for an article on a topic. D might suggest you to focus on debt. Whichever way you want to do is get a bad thing, and that will be a nice opportunity. Here's our opportunity where, you know, people are giving links. Yes. If you can understand that your competitor backend profile, you will have a great chance and a reasonably good amount of opportunity because that is where, you know, people are actually giving links. If you serve through web and try to get links from there, you have no clue of whether they are actually give links, are not. Studying your competitors is actually much more useful. Understanding linkable assets typed and topics. Number one, it gives you an idea of what types of links are out there and what topics. Linkable assets are not built for ranking, they are built for linking. These kinds of articles are simply for generating huge amount of links and they actually work well. There are few types which are like guest posting, infographics, surveys, statistics. Guest posting is actually welcomed in all industries and it is quite effective. Simply saying some topic examples would be like breastfeeding, bullet journaling, failure, dydt, credit statistics, etc. Paleo diet in the sense we have already seen it from Nerd Fitness. We have a paleo diet beginner's guide, which we have already seen from them, which is absolutely amazing. In a similar way, you can actually create linkable asset, like either a guest post or by creating an infographic, either through surveys or statistics. Statistics and service are mostly related to finance business kind of industries. Infographic is can be done for any industry. Go ahead and try out different things and see what works for you. But it's much more effective if you can actually study what worked for your competitors and gain more insight from that. This is a nice way to start. So let's go ahead to the next lecture. 25. #24 Spy on your competitor backlinks: Now we're going to learn about how to spy on your competitor links. Every side will have some kind of links pointed towards it. So we're going to use UBA suggest to see and find out what the pink information is. If you go to Uber suggest dashboard, we have backlinks, section backings, overview, mapping opportunity. The very first thing is backlink overview. I will showcase my security check. I have about 11 backlinks. There are no value of five. Now I have about five or six weeks do follow mappings from 91 to 100 DA, nothing to 12. This is my shopping profile. Okay. These are no followed by banks and the others are actually do follow back in. You're going to have a number of theories about what to do and how to receive. But that's not the most important thing right now. Just to understand, we can have truly know about any kind of vaping profile. Let me show you a mental.com. Look at their back and the tag is amazing. By about 5.8 million backlink, more than 5.8 million backends. This is a very strong website. They do have nofollow about 1.14 million. But you can see the do follow-up backlinks are acquired, hired more than twice. That is a good profile. What are we going to learn here is about the backend opportunity. Where did that text? I'm going to put root domain. Here. We can actually put our competitive domains.com 1 fifth. These are some examples. I consider these three as my competitors, but not actually because they are way ahead of me. I can compete with wild-caught trainer or Roman fitness systems because they're reasonably close or at least not so close, but I can target them on mental.com is an authority. It's quite the authority. We cannot simply go ahead, fight with them. I'm going to click on Search. And what it will do is it will give you opportunity, which means it will show the websites which are linking to your competitors but not linking to you. That way you will find out who to go after. You can see top backend, top back in. Here's a site to just doing it. What you can do is you can simply export everything. Here it is. Right now where I'm using the trailer ocean, so I won't be getting more than ten records probably. But if you are someone who is using much of an upgrade of well, you can get much better detail. Up. Here. You can see there are a number of websites. These are very quiet authority websites, but you can also see we get the data we get from domain and the domain authority. Or you can, if there is somebody who is responsible, responsible for giving them back in from this side, you're going to approach them. That is a good place to learn about it. Find out who your competitive backlinks are and go after them. Thank you very much guys. 26. #25 Introduction to Guest Posting: And we're gonna learn about guest posting. Guest posting is one of the most effective ways to generate backlinks. It is one of the most trusted ways to build backlinks because the interaction between the site owners is going to be high. And the requirement is sorted out and are and whatever that is being transferred is totally legal and it is totally limited by Google. Let's go ahead and learn about it. Let us know time will be y. Guest posting is a good way at clink strategy. Problems with guest posting. Number one is relevant, high-quality links. If you're not a credible authority to and trustworthy order within a particular niche, you won't be given an opportunity to write a guest article. If you are someone who is running a fitness blog, you will definitely won't ask our excerpt, a request from another or a site owner in finance industry to promote, write an article in fitness industry because they are a credible in finance industry, not fitness. You can only attract a relevant links. Which means you can only be a guest order within a particular niche. You cannot go outside of it. So this makes sure that you get relevant and high-quality LinkedIn. The sense you will have, the great amount of control in bringing five characteristics of a great Lynn. You remember, you follow editorial input in content placed links. These. And I have actually said not spam in order to link, it is totally guest posting. You will be having high-quality link number to control the placement and content of your link. Exactly like I said, you will have the control of where to place your link. The content will also be within your hands because you're the one who's going to write the article. Number three, higher success rate than other link building strategies. Simply saying it because the interaction is high, you're just asking for a link. You're actually giving them an article by placing a link within their article. Within that article, it is a great way for you to see high success rate because the interaction is high. You're actually providing something instead of simply asking for something. The reciprocity is going to be high. When it is high, you will be having a higher success rate. Number four, when wind for other blogger because you're adding value exactly. Every site owner needs content. The bigger they are, the more of the content they need. Whenever you are given content, they will definitely accept it. Why did you have to be credible? You have to have a great authority. You need to be a, The authoritative about what you are writing. You have to choose the right topic that will be fit for them. In these cases, when you're providing value, going to be a win-win for bloggers, both of them building relationships with bloggers in your niche. Yeah. Whenever you become a guest order, a lot of people are going to recognize you. This helps you to grow your network and build relationships within your niche. Finally, getting content out in front of new, bigger audience. Whenever you're publishing within a hiker. Another side with huge audience you are contained is actually within the views, are eyes of a bigger audience. These are new audience. You will be getting new and more users to your site. That is a great way to attract referral traffic. Problems with guest posting, we should be dealing with it because you cannot simply think of thumping to be as totally optimized. It is hard to do at scale. Writing high-quality posts takes time. Remember this, it may take a week for you to derive the quality pool. If you're also working a full-time job within a year, you probably might be if you are too good at it. And if the best-case scenario you can only publish about 52 articles. That means 52 backlinks at most. That's a great way, a great amount of links, but it's still, it's hard to do at scale because you cannot simply rely on a best case scenario. Publishing good content or other blocks not your own. You will be spending a lot amount of time on writing the content, resolving it, editing it, focusing on building, write articles. All of these taken care. And finally, you will be publishing on somebody else's blogging straw fuels. Number three, sometimes you may have to pitch coal, which means you do not have initial relationship with someone who you are trying to contact. So in these cases we will be trying to call the Matlab. Although it may be something maybe something like awkward in the beginning, that is how you can build relationships. You must be able to pitch cold. Go ahead and try guest posting. Let me give you some more in-depth lessons about guest posting. Follow me. Throughout the lectures. 27. #26 Get Organized for your Guest Post Campaign: Hello guys. Now we are going to get organized about guest posting campaign. Whenever you're trying to reach out to prospects, it is really important for you to be organized because it is not a single person that junior communicate with. What we have here is a spreadsheet of details regarding or prospect. We have the blog name. Whether we are going to send an article as a sampler to call order first draft or we have to pitch before we send an article. Blog URL, not just the homepage. And that's no use. We already know them by their name. What we have do you store here is every blog who were willing to accept guest posts will have some guidelines. This is where you can store the guidelines. And what topic do you want to pitch or what topic do you want to submit an article for that you will be specifying here the domain authority of each blog or each website. Because we want to target sites within certain range, are sites that are having good domain authority where we can approach them. But we need to know what is the domain authority and weed out the ones we don't want to. The communication details, e-mail. You can either store Facebook or anything. You can simply say contact details. That is much more good. Contact details are where we are going to store them here. Then we're going to approach them on the first time we are gonna store the date. Usually every side will have. 28. #27 Finding Guest Post Opportunities: Hello guys. Now we have understood about how to organize for guest post opportunities. And two, how to find out our guest post opportunities from your competitor back-end. Now it is time for us to go with the free flow of addition. Sometimes your competitors might not be enough. Aspects that you acquired from your competitor. Data might not be enough for you to approach. But guest posts prospect. What you have to do is you have approached the Internet in a much more smart manner. Here are some listed out terms which will be useful for you to start working. Finding out your guest post opportunities. You can see all of these terms are fixed with your keyword. After your keyword we have written. Yes, post writers, guest article, guess post opportunities. This is a guest by contributing other. Let me just give you an overview of this. Your keyword will belong to your niche. If you reading fitness industry, you can write fitness. Leave the next part. This is prefixed, not suffix that I have mentioned it wrong. Then it will be right for us. And fitness guest article, what it will do is Google will go ahead into the web and we'll search for fitness guest posts. Wherever it can find out these keywords. It will pull out all the articles into your search results. What if an article or any web page doesn't do? Any website, doesn't have any guidelines about guestbook. Simply, anytime somebody publishes a guest post. But if the site doesn't have any rules or guidelines for guest post opportunities, even when they posted. You can say this is a guest post by in that manner, you can actually know this side accepts guest posts, but doesn't really have any active strategy are active guidelines on how to approach them. What you can do is you can just simply get the guest post order. Recognize this site as somebody who will accept guestbook. Thereby you can go ahead. Let me go ahead and give you an understanding. I will show you an example. Let me give you an example. I will take this right for as an example because that is most common. I will put fitness in front of it, right for it. This holding here. Now you can see there are a ton of blog post, but they're not websites which are providing us the opportunity to write for them in the area of fitness. Fitness, right for us. Just say fitness right for us here, right for us, and fitness, fitness and write for it. So these all are great opportunities, but you can go ahead and do a little bit scaling here, go to settings. See all settings. This might change depending on your settings are your version of Google, google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. You see results per page. I have increased the 200. The search result will get slower, but I am not in a hurry, Obviously. I'll do that. I'll come back here, save. When I ask for your security check. Now you can see about more than ten, about 100 search results that are having right for us and fitness as def, keyword within the title, headline, the entire article or subheadings or wherever it may be, even in meta-description. They will provide a, Google will give us all the articles. In this way, you can actually go ahead and choose one of them to work and submit a blog post pitch for them. You'd use a grid start. Let me just show you something. I'm taking this unthinkable dot cfm website. They have given guidelines for guest post. All your inquiries have to be sent. The mail address. What articles can I write? You can write an article that relates to the categories, these areas. You can only send articles in these areas. And also they have said, Do not sell it because they won't accept anything related to these areas. This is the area where they want you to focus. And now they're giving some guidelines such as only original, unique puppies because there'll be using copy script. This is a plagiarism checking tool, which is very sophisticated. So do not try to submit any duplication posts to any site, right, on original and unique one. Also focus on a matching the word count. If possible, try to provide images with the copyright. Carefully format the article. Please. Good. Credible links on also. Never forget to put your links. All right, if you do that, it's just a waste of time. All right, always remember, put your links at least one link. You see they have a one link, but 300 voters ideal maximum two to three links in total, including other link. Please include another ballot. Most probably are often people are going to accept only with only those which have certain rules like that. They will only accept links within the other violent, but try to negotiate with them to provide a link within the content because it will be incredibly useful and very, very effective. You can see here the reason they have kept all these play, all these things here is because when someone uses these kinds of someone who uses these kind of keywords and tones in search. This Website want you to find out about them so that they can receive a dashboard.
