millions and billions of content is being
published online. And social media is the easiest and fastest
way to reach people. But in the world of
pesky algorithm, in order to grow online, you need to maintain
consistency. You want more customers, more clients, and more
iybles for your business. Keep the consistency simple. Hey, I'm al a counter
marketing specialist helping solopreneurs, creators and brands scale their business using content
regardless of the platforms. In this course, you'll learn everything about
content calendar. I'll give you hands
on examples and how to do everything cited to
you in the first lesson.
2. Project: Hey, before we move on
to the next lesson, let's talk about the
project of this course. So in the research section, you will find a demo
content calendar template. Depending on your
industry or niche, define the content
pillars you are having. Then create a weekly content
calendar for your business. I really love to see
all of your projects and let's chat in the
discussion. Let's move on.
3. What is a content calendar: Hey, welcome to the course. So you finally made it. So without further ado,
let's jump right in. As in this course,
I'm going to cover everything related
to social media, content calendar,
how to make one, and how to execute. But before that we have to know what is a content calendar. So a content calendar
is a tool used to plan, organize, and
schedule your content in a strategic manner. It provides a visual overview
of your content strategy, outlining what content
you will be created, where it will be distributed, and when it will be published. A content calendar
helps you stay organized and keep
that consistency. We all know in order to grow
in social media these days, especially organically,
we have to maintain our consistency and to
maintain the consistency. Having a content
calendar is a must. I'm telling you later
in this course, you will get to know the
importance of content calendar, how to make one,
and how to stick to a habit to maintain
this consistency. In the next video, we'll get to know the types of content we can put in our content calendar in order to organize everything. So stay tuned.
4. Types of content: Hey, welcome back.
In this lesson, we'll get to know the
types of content we can make and put in
our content calendar. Well, you can ask me, Khaled. Is there different types of content out there?
Well, let me tell you. Yes, not just a particular type. There are different
types of content. Like the one you are seeing here is
informational content, like I'm giving you
the information. So this is called
information type of content. So like this, there will be a different
types of contents. Let's jump right in.
As I was saying, the first type of content
is informational content. Well, this type of content
provides valuable information, educates the audience, and answer different
types of questions. Well, the examples could be Beginner's Guide to
Smartphone Photography, or maybe ten healthy recipes for skinny people.
You get my point. Right then comes
engaging content. This type of content captivates
and engage your audience. Also encourage interaction
and spark conversations. The examples we have
here are funniest. Take phase, share your epic
phase stories or style quiz. Find your perfect
fashion persona. You can see this type of content already creates an engagement
with the audience. Asking the audience, find
your fashion persona. If this is a video or a photo, you'll try to find
the persona you like the most or
you can connect to, or maybe engage
in a conversation or commit your thoughts. Next up, we have user
generated content. This type of content created
and shared by your audience. This reflects their perspective
and their thoughts. Some of the examples
could be sharing user submitted photos or
videos in social media. Or maybe featuring user
generated outfit of the day. Then comes
transactional content, content that promotes
or encourages a specific type of
action or transaction. For example, get 20%
off on your order or on your purchase using
specific promo code. Or maybe upgrade
your device today and save up to 50% This type of content evokes a sense of urgency and force us
to make a purchase. This type of content is creating a transaction between the
customer and the audience. Then comes inspirational
or motivational content. Content that inspires or
motivates the audience, offers an engagement and
delivers a positive message. For example, embrace your
unique style and confidence. Or inspiring stories
of tech entrepreneurs. This kind of content
provides a positive message. All the motivational
video we watch in social media or in Youtube are fall under this
category of contents. Then comes trending or news content content that
covers let strengths, news or updates related to
any particular industry. For example, top fashion
designers of Paris Fashion Week. Or maybe a latest technology
that comes out this week. Next up, Behind the
scenes content. This kind of content
offers a glimpse of behind the scenes of
your brand or your product. Showcasing the process,
what's going on behind the scene and the whole
spicy thing, the process. Everything is going
on behind the scene that the people or the
audience are not seeing. You can showcase this type of content to build trust
and credibility. For example, a day in the
life of a restaurant chef or maybe behind the scenes of
making a tech start up. Last but not the least, opinion or thought
leadership contents. In this type of content, we tend to provide
expert opinion analysis or personal opinion on different
industry related topics. For example, future of sustainable farming
or maybe breaking the fashion boundaries or changing the landscape
of healthcare system. So now you know there
are multiple types of content that creates a
whole content ecosystem. Every content has a
particular purpose with a transaction or content, you cannot provide
positive message or try to motivate people. Similarly with thought
or leadership content, you cannot like portray the behind the scenes.
You get it right. So first we have to understand
the type of content, what we are going to post, and what is our purpose. Defining our purpose, then
choosing the content type, and then putting the
content and producing it. Now we know the
types of content. In the next lesson, we'll learn the importance of a
content calendar statuned.
5. Importance of content calendar: Hey, welcome back.
Let me ask you, what is the purpose or the importance of
a Qutent calendar? We'll not go into the
slide or anything, we'll just randomly discuss. Let's start, let me start first
with a Quantent calendar. We can plan ahead, then you go, yeah, you're right. We can schedule
content beforehand. And then if we can schedule content
beforehand, what will happen? We can maintain the consistency. Right. And when we
are maintaining the consistency like
what will happen? Like we can implement
different content strategy. We can organize
everything in one place. We'll know beforehand like
what we are going to post. The forecasting will be easier. See we already know what is the importance
of content calendar. So let's see what we have. Plan and schedule
content in advance. As we're saying,
we can schedule or plan content for a
week or for a month, or even for a year if we
are very much determined. Also, we can outline specific content types of
visual we're going to put. And the captions
then align content with your business goals. Content calendar
helps you achieve your business goals, your
marketing objectives. You can strategically plan
content that promotes your brand message or specific product or drive
traffic to your website. Maintain consistency
in publishing the biggest roadblock
or the biggest hurdle. A content creator or influencer, or a social media manager, anyone who is making
contents online, facing is keeping
the consistency like in order to grow in social media
organically these days we have to post daily. Yeah, there are many
strategists who says like posting three to four
days a week is enough. But I'll argue like we
have to post daily. And in this course, I'll show you how you can post daily and maintain
the consistency. As I was saying in
the very beginning, we are very much
motivated and we can post like once, twice, thrice. In the fourth day,
there's something will come up and
we'll forget to post. It will happen, it will
happen in any time frame. So to avoid that, content
calendar will help us along the way effectively manage resources and coordinate
your efforts. A content calendar helps you assigning different
task set deadlines and coordinate efforts between your team members if you have a team and you
are maintaining it. So social media content
calendar will help you like coordinate different
tasks to different people. They will have a clear vision
what they are posting, what their daily
tasks look like. Adapt and adjust the
content strategy as needed. A content calendar provides a bartside view of
your whole content, whole social media
content strategy, so you can see what's
going on out there. So it's easier for
you to adapt and change any particular
time of your strategy. If there is a change in your business
environment, trends, or customer preferences,
you can change the strategy accordingly at
any particular given moment. So you can effectively
plan, organize, maintain the consistency and create an engaging
social media presence. In the next lesson,
we'll go through a draft monthly
content calendar. The
6. Demo cotent calendar: In this lesson, we
are going to see a demo, monthly content
calendar for Instagram. Here on the screen, you can see a demo monthly content
calendar for Instagram. I know it looks quite weird, but let me explain. It will be the game changer. This content calendar
will be our base to create different contents
around the week or a month. First, this is a monthly
content calendar. This is for Instagram. Now to understand
the whole process, we first need to
understand the colors. The yellow colors
are for photos, the green colors are for reels, blues are story, and the
whites are for carousel. So now we have seven days, And as I mentioned in
the previous lesson, to maintain the consistency, you have to post for
like seven days. And in this content calendar, we'll see how we can do that. Before we jump into
the content calendar, you can see in the story
I have written three X. Whenever you see a blue
part in a particular day, like you have to post at least three to four
stories throughout the day. Like you are posting
a single photo or a video in a day like you
just posted and done. But have to create
an engagement. How do you do that
with the stories? Right? So you have to continuously keep updated your customers
or your audience, What's going on with you, what's going on
behind the scenes, or what's the update
of your business. Like if you keep on updating your customers about your
day, about your business. Then the engagement, the
trust, the credibility, all will be placed and your social media
accounts will grow. The stories are like I
have mentioned, three x. It's the bare minimum, you can sometimes
post two stories, but I recommend like the
more stories you can put. But that doesn't mean you
have to just roam around with the camera and like shoot
everything you are doing. No, like the bits and pieces, the most interesting
part, some QN A's. By this whole story process, you will initiate
the engagement. So remember, this is a draft
content calendar in Sunday, I have given the photo. That doesn't mean you cannot post a carousel in
this particular day. It's just a rough estimation. You have to like trial and error to find the perfect match
or perfect fit for you. The first day we are
going to post a photo and several stories
like in Monday, we're going to post a carousel. So you can see in a week I
have kept a single carousel. Carousel are super engaging. This will be like another
version of your stories. Here the people will see
the process, the breakdown. The more engaged
version is carousel. You can see I have
put three reels in a particular week
and two photos. The formula I am following, like in one day I will not
post anything on the stories. This particular day
will be the warm up, like we will post lots of
stories and keep our viewers updated what's going on and the process or what is coming
up in a particular week. In Saturday only the stories
in Sunday only photo, then a carousel, then two real, and then comes the photo. And the real and off day,
you know the sequence. You can see the third
and fourth week is quite different because
like I mentioned earlier, you have to trial
an error to find the perfect match or
the perfect sequence. There is no, there is no bookish method to go like
this is the perfect formula. The base we're having
is three reels a week, two photos, and one carousel. This way we'll interchange the post types in different days and try to find the right engagement and
the right fit for us.
7. What we'll post: Hey, welcome back. Now we know we're going to
post three reels, two photo, one, carousel. And the rest of the day
will packed with stories. And a single day will
be for only stories. Like the story can be a video or asking different
questions in text. But the main question arise, what we are going to post as a photo or a real what
will be the topic? How we'll decide or how we'll come up with
the content ideas. This is an obvious
question, right? To answer this question like
what we are going to post? What will be the topic,
the content idea? We have to know X factor
of quantent creation, the X factor of our niche. What is the X factor? It is called Content Pillar. What is content pillar? A content Pillar is
a broad topic or a theme that creates the foundation of your
content strategy. It represents the core area of expertise of your
business or brand. Quantent pillars are used
to guide content creation, organization or categorization, so you don't fall out
from your core messaging. Content pillars
help you establish yourself as an authority
in a particular niche. For example, if you have
a coffee shop and you are creating contents for your coffee shop
and promoting it, then the Quantent
pillars would be like coffee related
educational videos, coffee related lifestyle
and culture videos, behind the scenes, or even how you are
operating your business. These are some of the
Quantent ideas or the Quantum pillars you can
create under this umbrella. Like these are the
foundation of your umbrella. Under this umbrella, there
will be different topics like the quantum
pillar we are having, like, for example,
behind the scenes. So behind the scene
is broad umbrella and beneath it we can post
like the operation, the process, like
the fun moments, the failure, the challenges. So you see when you have a umbrella or the pillar
of your contents, then you can create endless amount of content
from that particular pillar. We learned what is
Quantent Pillar. In the next lesson, we'll dive more deep into
Quantum Pillar and dissect using our
real life example like a coffee shop C.
8. Content pillar showcasing of coffee shop: Welcome back. In this lesson, we'll see some of
the content pillars a coffee shop can have. You can see there
are eight type of content pillars or like eight
type of giant umbrellas. For example, coffee
education menu, showcasing behind the scenes coffee shop news and updates, customer stories
and testimonials, community engagement,
coffee, culture and lifestyle and
tips and tricks. These are some of the ideas. I'll put this
particular slide in the resource section so you can download and
see for yourself. I'll not go through all of them, but let's look at
a particular one. So let's look into
the tips and tricks. So when we hear tips and tricks, what comes in our mind
like different types of tips and tricks
related to coffee. For example, coffee brewing
techniques and hacks, DIY, coffee recipes or variation
coffee storage and freshness. Tips, recommendations
for coffee equipment and accessories like so. You can create any number of contents from this
particular pillar. You don't believe me, right? For example, coffee shop
decoration tipsentrics. Cappuccino, making Tifsentrics, or crashing the coffee
grinds tipsentrics. See this way. You can create any
number of contents.
9. Coffee shop weekly content calendar: Hey, welcome back. So now we know to fill
up our content calendar, we need to define
Quantent Pillars. And we just saw
how we can define content pillars for
a particular niche, like a coffee shop. Previously we saw a demo,
monthly content calendar. And to fill up that
particular calendar, we need to define
Qutent Pillars. And now we already did. So let's see how a one
week content calendar will look after defining the content pillars
for a coffee shop. In the screen we can see a
weekly content calendar. So now we can see seven days. We have defined
different contents based on our Quantent pillars. We can see in Monday we will post coffee skis related real. In Tuesday we will post a surprising fact related
carousel in detail In Wednesday we will
post another real based on the coffee culture
or coffee lifestyle. In Thursday we'll again post a photo related to the
customer experiences, like the customers are
having a great time in the coffee shop and a
charming photo of themselves. Then in Friday we'll post another reel related to
coffee tips and tricks. In the Saturday
we'll post a behind the scenes of the operations
of the coffee shop. Then in Sunday, as I
mentioned earlier, there is a day for
only for story or you can shuffle around with photos, reels, or carousel. It's all up to you in Sunday, You can post anything related to coffee recipes or pairings. See, it's very easy when you have your
content pillars defined, then it's very easy to change around and play
with the content pillars. Here you can see for
your convenience, you can select the photos
or the background or the thumbnail you will put for the content and
also the captions. So you can define the
types of content you can post and also mention
the content pillar. In future, it will be
very easy for you to take all the photos
and videos and make all the graphics depending on the types of content you are posting and respective
to your content pillars, you can find this demo weekly content calendar in
the resource section.
10. Sum up with reel scheduler: Hey, we're very close to
the end of this course. In this video, we'll sum
up what we learned so far. So first we learned what
is content calendar, then we learned the types
of content out there. Then we saw a demo, monthly content
calendar, and what we can post depending on
the content pillar. Then we saw a real
life example with a coffee shop and a weekly content calendar made from scratch for
your convenience. Here is a posting
schedule you can follow and change around
according to your needs. These days, Instagram is
promoting Reals insanely, so it is very easy to
get the engagement, the impressions, and
grow with reals. That's why this posting
schedule is focused on reels so that you can grow really fast and easily
depending on your niche. First, define the
content pillars, then make reels based on
those content pillars. And throughout the day, you
have to keep updated with the stories and really utilize this feature
Stragam is giving you. You are posting once a day, but you have to keep your audience engaged
throughout the day with stories. And also
all the templates you will find in the
resource section. To maintain the consistency, you have to stick to
a content calendar. All the influencers, all
the social media marketer, all the people who are growing. And you can see they
are like blooming. They all follow and stick to a particular
content calendar. If you have any
questions related to content calendar or
Quantent pillar or particularly anything related to social media marketing
or about this course, I'm really excited
to hear from you. See you in another course. Happy content creation.
