Hello, I'm Amelie.

I started drawing with a pencil when I was sixteen, initially focusing on pencil drawing classes. During these early years, I developed a strong foundation in portrait drawing, figure drawing, and facial features design. I also honed my skills in working with colored pencils, ink pens, and watercolors. These diverse experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of various techniques and styles.

As my interest grew, I discovered a passion for character design and animation, which led me to pursue professional character design classes. My university education in the field of animation further deepened my expertise. At the age of twenty-four, I began teaching character drawing with a pencil, combining my knowledge of traditional drawing techniques... See full profile

1. Introduction: Hello everyone. In this class I will teach you to sketching and coloring of a b with pencil and a three steps very easily. In the first step, the primary scheduled the b. In the second step, creating the details for it to be. In the third one, I will teach you the coloring of the B. I hope you enjoy this course. 2. Primary Sketch: Hello, John of my dearest friends. I'm here again with another tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create a b together. We want to see how it's done. Alright, I am going to start with creating a general shape for my bee's body. Well, first of all, I'm going to create the direction line for my bee's body. The shape that I want to create, my B inside of it. We will determine the placement of its head in this shape. Then after that, I'm going to create the volume for my bee's body. For creating that. We are going to use some angle shapes over here in order that we can create almost a good shape out of our bees body. Then for the ending part of our B, we are going to create a shape like this. Now for the lower part of my bee's body, I will continue this line to create this shape. Then we are going to determine the placement of our bees hands and arms. Well, I will start my B's hands exactly in the place that it's face is ending over here. Then I will create a shape like this which is thicker on above. And when it gets down it will get more narrow. Then for the legs of my B, I am going to create some shape like this, again, thicker on top and getting a little bit more narrow towards the end. We do it for both hands-on legs. Arms and legs. Sick on the top. And as they come to the bottom part of them, they will be more narrow and thinner. We create the other leg a little bit over here because it's on the other side of our body and it's behind this leg and it cannot be seen too much. Then I'm going to create my bees wings. I'm going to create the wings from the part that we've created, the arms. I will start from here and create a general shape for our bees wings like this. Then from this lower part, we will come up to continue and complete the wing. I'll create a shape like this as my bee's wing. The other wing, which is on the other side of the body, can be seen a little. I mean, we can see a little bit of it. Therefore, we are going to create it as much as we can see it in the shape that we've created, this front wing over here. This would be it. These are the wings of my B. Now. B also has two tentacles that we are going to create them over here, should consider that as well. So we're going to create the tentacles over here. One of them is toward us and the other is coming out from behind the head. I mean, basically the other side of the head. They both come out of the face. Last I'm going to create actually I'm going to determine the placement of our eye, which is very big. Therefore, we are going to easily consider volume for the I over here, a big one. This is a general shape of RB, which looks like this. Very, very easily. We can get our work with this shape with very basic geometrical shapes. Next step I'm going to add the details. 3. Primary Sketch: Hello, My dearest friends again, we are going to continue our work on our B. Well, we are going to add the details to our work this time. I'm going to start my work from my B's tentacles. And I'm going to add a volume to these antennas that it has or tentacles. Now for my bees, I will create a light inside of its eye. Looking like that. Then for my bees wings, I'm going to create just some lines which should exist inside of the wings. Because if you look at bees wings closely or even flies, you can see several lines getting inside of them. It looks like a pattern. 4. Drawing Details: Hello everyone, and good evening to you all. Now we're going to continue our work on RB. And this time on this step, we are going to start the coloring of our B. First of all, I'm going to use color 301, which is a white color. And I will just color the parts which are needed to stay white. Because when we are applying our black color, these parts would not get any colors and they will stay white. Again, I'm saying that I am applying my white color on their parts which are actually which need to be a need to stay white. I create Also, I call are this light inside of the eye. Then I move on towards the wings. I color this area which is connecting the wing to the body with my white color. Wherever we need to keep our white-collar going to apply it here or there. And also for the ending part of our body, I'm going to apply this white color because later that the other colors are going to come over it. They wouldn't also affect this area too much and they would not apply too much color here. The white color would actually make our work easier. Alright, now I am going to use black color and I'm going to apply the under parts which should be black. I'm going to use the color 399, which you can also use. It can also use your usual normal sketching pencil, but because we are working with colored pencils, it's better to use your colored pencils, black color. Now, I'm going to call her the tentacles are antennas of my B. I'm going to color them black. As you can see here. Then for my B's head, I'm going to consider that these parts of the head which are coming toward outside should look like this. Basically, I am creating these lines in the shape of some hair, some very, very small hair texture to show some hair texture on the top of my B's head and maybe a little bit on its body and part by part, I'm creating this small hair texture all around my b. Therefore, our work will keep its texture and it would increase its attractiveness. Track activity. Sorry. I'm going to create the beginning parts like this and I am coloring them like this, basically showing these volumes here. Then later I would move on and color the insights. Just like that. I'm working on these parts. Now for the top part of my B's head, I'm going to do the same. And I'm going to create several lines are here. In order to show the texture. Here is hair, small hair. For this area, which goes to our yellow part. I'm going to create the lines in this shape because now we are starting the yellow area and I don't want to get some message. So I'm going to create the texture of our bees hair over here and I want to show it completely. Then for this inner part, I'm going to apply my black color all over here. As you can see, I am shading and I am applying my color. On my work. Now because I want my work to proceed faster, I'm going to apply my colors faster. But if you're doing it at home, shouldn't rush through it and you should just do this slowly with more patients. Because in that way your work will get more attractive. But because I just want to improve my work faster and I want to pick up the pace so I can teach you more things. I'm actually increasing my speed in shading and coloring. As you can see, and you're paying attention departs that we've colored white are going to stay white. I just bring some black colors inside of this area. Therefore, a wooden be just very plain. And then I'm going to continue my work all around it. I would also create, actually, I would also apply my black color inside of the eye as well. And wherever we've kept white is going to be white. As you can see, I'm also coloring inside of my eye in black, keeping the white parts untouched and uncolored. That is exactly why we've used our white color adds beginning. So wherever we needed to stay wide will stay white. I'm going to shade the black areas. I'm not basically hatching. I'm more towards shading it. Now. I want to start the part which should be yellow. I'm going to use my yellow color. And also I would later use my orange color for this area. I will apply my yellow color all over this surface, all over this part. Then I'm going to use the orange color for here. Therefore, I would have more color in here. The orange color is 314 and the yellow is 307. Days were the numbers of the colors that I'm using here for you. Alright? This is a color for this area. For the top parts of my body. I would also create some more small lines like what I've done in black part. So I can show the texture of the hair over here as well. Then I'm going to use a little bit more of my 307 to make the textures look better. And then again, I switch to my black color and I'll continue my work like this. Again. I say even in the yellow area, you should create some small lines to show the texture. Again, I'm going to shade the parts which are needed to be black. Obviously we didn't know scaring side of the wings. And I will also bring some colors to my B's arms. I'm going to just stop it right here for now because the lower part of my arms should be a bit toward gray, so I would use my gray color on it and then later, I'll continue my black color. As you can see even on beneath the body or below the body on the stomach area. I'm also creating several small lines on the edge in order to show the hair texture. Then I will shade all the way through inside of it in black. That yet again, we're going to reach our area with the yellow color so we would again use it. So I've covered all the black areas with my black color, and then I'm going to switch to yellow color and apply it over here. Now for our yellow area, I go toward inside of the yellow part from the edges as you can see, I want to show the texture on the edges. I'm going to drag some lines toward this yellow area. And then I'm going to use the color 307 here. And then I will continue my work with 314. Exactly. We will continue the same way, the same procedure as we did for the first part because it's exactly the same way, so we should follow the same procedure. Just like that. I'm also bringing some lines coming out of this yellow area toward outside of the body as a texture. You know, I'm going to create my wings. So I'm going to apply why white color for the foundation of the wings, base of them. Then I'm going to choose my gray color and add it to the wings. Therefore, the wings will actually get some color and they wouldn't be plain white. So you can see the difference and you can see the color. The gray color is 396, which I'm using. But you can use any gray color that you want. Then I am going to work on these lines inside of the wings with my black color, just as you can see. But as you can see, I'm not putting too much pressure on it. I don't want to make it too dark. I'm just completing my work with the use of these lines, which I am creating for the wings. In this area, which are, wings are going to be separated will be darker. So I can show these are two separate wings. Would also use some lines. And we just created in this area, we will darken buttocks area, the end of its body, the sharp area. And then we apply here below it a little also bringing some lines, small lines toward inside of this area. Then on the legs, I will complete them like this. And for here, I'm going to use my gray color for the lower parts of the legs and the arms. So first I'm going to use my gray color for the arm and then I'll do the same for the legs. I just apply a little bit of my gray color inside of the legs. Then for this ending part of the body, I'm going to use degrade color. Just like that, just to give it some more color to be seen. And then for the leg, I'm going to apply a very dark color, a very dark line, black line, basically. This area. I'm going to do the same for this part. And several lines that I'm going to create here. I'm basically completing the arms and the legs. This is cute. Be that we can create it and color it.
