2. Welcome To Masterclass: Hello and thank you for enrolling in the schools. My name sedan And I'd like to welcome you in the cinema graft masterclass. So let me turn you quickly through the structure off the scores will begin with four sub basics. This is to help you get familiar with all the necessary tools to be used in this master class. If you're an advanced user of four shop, you can choose to skip this part. Then comes masking and content aware. This is something which will be used a lot of time to hide ordinary objects. Then comes the timeline introduction. This is where we lay out our list and create animations. Then we have export settings. In this I'll be teaching you how to save your projects for different mediums like social media, Web browsers and so on. Then we have three different modules. Model one is the overly effects in which will be making cinema graph using snowfall, particle fire, etcetera on many other different effects. Then we have more than two, which is about key framing. Then we have more than three, which is about video masking. Finally, Albie sharing a suit bonus with your So that's essentially the entire structure of this master class and throughout the scores, I'll be giving you access to all those downloadable resources so that you can download them and practice. Having said that, let this journey begin.
3. Photoshop Basic Tools: Hello and welcome to the cinema graph masterclass. So in this lecture I'll be running you through the basics off for shop and talking about the basic tools off for the shop so that even if you are a beginner and completely new to the world of four shop, you won't be having any problem understanding this emits software on Justin gets. If you're intermediate or advanced force abuser, then you can just skip this lecture or you can just carry with it. So first thing first, this is the user interface off for the shop on On the left side, you can see all off the major tools off force off that will be using throughout the course on if you come towards the right side. So for a job is a softer, which works on layers. It's a compositing software like meaning. You can have multiple layers, and then all those multiple layers will combine to create one picture. So having said that, I have one picture off Lemonier that I'll be using for the purpose off demonstration in which I'll be talking about the major tools in four sub that I personally use on a daily basis to create cinema graphs and also which you'll be using to create cinema graphs on. And let me just tell you there are lot off tools on a lot of options inside filter, but we need not no all of them in order to create cinema graph. If you learn all of them, it's very good for you. It will enhance the knowledge and you'll become more knowledgeable. But to keep things simpler to keeping shot in this lecture, I'll be only talking more. Their tools, which are necessary on which are totally used in making cinema graph so firstly will begin with this stool. It's called the moved All. As you can see here on it is used to move a selection. The short cut off this is we. So let's say I have this image and let me just make it a little bit shorter here. I never quit day for all of you guys. Whenever you want to transform any image. Okay, then you need to hit control or command V. And you can also move the image using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Okay, let's move on to the other tool. The other tools in the list is rectangular, marquee tool and, as the name suggest. And if you can see the animation here, it is used to make a selection in the rectangular form and the short cut off it is. Let's have a look at it example. So let's say I have an image off these lemons. I'll hit em. I'll put them in a rectangular selection. And then, from here on, I can do whatever I want. I can delete them by hitting the delete key. You can copy it. You can cut it if you want to copy at this hit, control or command, see and then control or command V. As you can see, a newly A has been created with this particular selection. If I turn the previously off, you will see this is the new Leah with the selection that we had made using the rectangular market to. Similarly, if you right click on their tangle market tool, you can see the elliptical marquee tool that does the same job but in the elliptical manner . So let me just deleted. I'll hit em. I'll create elliptical selection around this control or command. See control of the one b So an elliptical selection has been created. Now you can do whatever you want. You can move it around, play with it, have fun. So the next tool in the list is this lasso tool and last tool is used to make selection which are uneven, which are not off a proper geometrical form. On this has many millions like lasso tool, polygonal lasso tool lets you see lasso tool first and the short cut off. This is l. So let's say I want to make a selection off this lemon. So at this, click here on with the mas button clicked without releasing it. Just draw over the area that you want to select. I'm doing it very refuges. For the purpose of this tutorial, I want us to just understand the technique and you can perfect it later on on. Just come here and when you reach the starting point, just release the mouse button so a selection can be created. So this is our selection using the lasso tool. Now let's have a look at the polygonal lasso tool and guys one more thing whenever you're done making selection and if you want to get rid of that selection. This had control or command. The I'll come up here right click on this choose polygonal lasso tool, and then I just click here and then click here. Click. In this case, you'd need not hold the mustard, and you just need to click on the places that you want. The anger points to be made, and when you're about to reach the starting point, you'll see a small circle that pops up. That means with that the selection will be completed. I'll just hit control C Control V on the self selection. So this was a lot of tools. Now the next tool that we have is the brush tool, and as the name suggests, it is used to paint and the short cut off This is me so I wouldn't be. I'll choose a color. Let's say read. I'll create one newly a here, and I just spent over this. You can make the size of the brush smaller or larger from here. Click on this. You can adjust the size and harness off the brush. So this is one very helpful chart. Cut off brush tool. Now the next tool is the clone stamp tool Clones. So the way to use the clone stamp tool is first, you need to select a region that you want to sample. So let's say I want to sample this lemon and I want to place it in some region here. I'll bring it over the lemon so I'll hold the key and the moment you were the or G. You see a small cross here, a thing which demonstrated, dog eared sort of thing, and then he'd be left most button. So that area sampled. Now, wherever you go and you click it, it would place that sample layer on that region. So this is the clone stamp tool, and it is used to hide imperfections. It is mainly used in ah, skin retouching and also to remove some unwanted elements from the image. You can learn about this more in the further coming lecture where I'll be talking about wanted aware. So the next tool that we have is the type two on, As the name says, it is usedto type, and you can type letters and sentences and paragraphs with it, and the short good for this is the so it just hit the click on the area and just type the letters that you want so you can increase. Besides off this, you can basically do a lot of things, and in order to do that, this head over to the windows, come here and click on character so you can see this. I'm just moving in here so you can see this character dialog box using this you can make a lot of teenagers. You can change your formed the size off it, the tracking and lord many things, so you can just play around with it and get an ID off it. So that was the textile. Now the next tool that we have is depend Toe on. Bendel is used to make very complex selections. The short cut off This is B and, you know, whatever tools that we had seen for making selections like Marquee tool, lasso Tool, they do not make as accurate selection as does the spend tool. So let's suppose if I had to make a selection of these lemons, I would simply had three that I would click here than click here and then dragged the anchor point sale. Now you can see it on your screen, so moving on the next tune that we have is the handle on the usage off. This handle is that whenever you have zoomed in a lot on, you want to move the image, you just sell ugly, handled using age, and you can just click on the image and drag it whatever you want. Another shocker for this is holding the space bar so it is. Press these face bar, hold it and then left. Most click, and then you can moving image toe the desired direction. And last but not least, we have the zoom tool on it is pretty much self explanatory. The shortcut of this is that if you left, click on the image and drag it towards right so you will zoom in. And if you left click on the image and dragged towards left. You will zoom out so right for zooming left for some old zoom in zoom a zoom in zoom mode. So those were the essential tools and for the shop that we'll be required to make cinema graphs. And like I said in the beginning, there are a lot of tools in the force off that you can learn. 4. Masking & Content Aware: Hello and welcome to the cinema graph masterclass. So in this lecture will be learning what exactly is masking. And we'll also further learn about content aware. But a little later on that first, let's focus on masking so so to make you understand it very simpler. Masking is kind off a raising, but the only difference between masking and raisins that raising is a destructive process and masking is a non destructive process, meaning other show you if I take it Reza. And if I tried toe raise some of the portions on this image, then was the raising has been done. We cannot get back all the elements that we have a raised. If you can see these checkered blocks, this means that all those pixels in that particular region have been burned on. They won't be coming back. Of course you can get it back by under, but that's not be probably. We are mainly focusing on keeping all picture as original as it was in the beginning on. For that, you shouldn't be using a raising. As a matter of fact, you know, ever since I have been using masking, I've never gone back to using a raising. And that is also the case with most of the four top artists who very rarely use this process off raising. They never used a razor for the most part. Okay, so now I just quickly hit a new and get back my image to its original. And then we'll see. How can we do masking? So let's say the scenario is same. I want to get rid of some of these guys in this match on. Let's just say that we want to isolate this women and we want toe get rid of all the unnecessary background, which is the sky, the small mountain and then this beach and some water. So in order to do that, head over to the layers panel and Justin gets. If you're not able to see this live and like this, then just hit F seven or come over here toe windows and then click on layers. Okay, so well, come on, this layer panel. Leah, you come down here and click on this little again. It's the icon off mosque, so clicking this will add a layer mask to use Click on it Now, as you can see, a new ICANN has been created. This is the icon of mosque. So in order to perform mosque, we need to also learn some basic concepts about the foreground and the background color. So if you want to mask out anything as and if you want to get rid of something, you need to have black in the foreground color. And if you want to bring back something which you have just must out, you need to have white in the foreground color and the way to talk about both of them is by clicking on this Aiken or on your keyboard, you can hit X Both this Aiken and the X Key does the same thing. So right now I want to get rid of the sky and these background, so I'll take a brush. You can keep the hardness and softness. As for your requirement, alky the size at around this much, I'll make sure I have black selected in the background and I just start being Dean, which is basically masking out also. If you pay close attention to this and you can see all these regions that we're painting with black, you can see it has been covered on the sun. Also, that means that those particular region have bean must out. So I'll continue with my pain. So right now I'm not doing it very precisely. I just want to show you guys the technique off masking. So I'm going bed faster and not very precise. Now, let's just say that we have completed our masking and this is the final result. Andi, for some reason, I want my sky back. I don't want all the other regions like the water or the beach, but I just want this guy back. So right now, in case off the JSA, if we had raised the background and wanted some of the elements back, it would have been possible. But in the case of mosque, you can do it. Just come over here. The startled this and select white in the foreground color and with that same brush, pained over this area and you'll get back your sky. Okay, so this is how you perform a mosque? So always remember, if you want to remove objects from your image, you need to select black in the foreground color. If you want to bring back elements in the image, you need to have white in the foreground color. That's pretty much it on. One more thing I want you to remember is whenever you're masking out, always, always select, obviously. Okay, do not make the mistake off selecting base layer and then taking a brush and then painting over it. This will create a normal paint over it and not masking. So please do not make this mistake. Whenever you are about to begin masking, make sure you have this Aiken selected, and then you can go ahead with the masking, so I hope that's clear. And now we'll head over to the content aware thing So this is an image. We see a person standing here on the sand dunes in the desert on There's this guy. So the idea is, What if I wanted to remove this person from this image while only having the sand dune on this guy? For that reason, until sometime back when there was no such feature off content aware what people were doing were I'll just show you. So this was our image. So we were taking a clone stamp tool. You can see it in the tool span earlier. This is a clone stamp tool. So what this clone does is you will tell this clone tool to select any region from the image, sample it and then you can go over to some other area and then based those pixels, so I'll show you what it does. So let's suppose I want to remove this person from this image, and I can see a very similar amount off pixels available in this region. I don't know if you can see it. Let me just show you. So if you see the entire region, which has the sand dunes, so using the clone stamp tool weaken sample some of the region's here and based it over this man to going off, camouflage him and get him out off the image. So by taking the clone stamp, just hold your coil key If you're on a PC, if you're on a Mac, you can see the shortcuts on your screen and just click on the area that you want to sample . So I disconnected. And make sure you have tow. Keep holding your oiled key while doing this once the example just released or key. And then wherever you take this clone stamp tool and click on it, that particular sample region will be pasted over here. Let me do that again. I'll sample something from here. I'll come here and based it. Sambou based sambal paste sample based sample. So if you see it from for yes, we have definitely remove the person from the image. But if you zoom in and have a closer look, you will notice how dirty it looks. So this was the procedure that people falling up until the time content aware Waas launched in for yourself. Now, using content aware feature, we will try to remove this person very easily so first, let me just a new. So this is a person. And so basically, what do you want to do is we want to make a selection around this person and tell for us all that try to find pixels around this region and then try toe replicate those pixels on toe this selection. So for the selection, you can use any of the tools like lasso tool or pen tool. So in this case, I'll be using a last. It'll just draw a selection around this person. It could be some rough, then right click on the selection and hit Phil. Then you'll see this daily box. You have to make sure you select content. Aware, when this dialogue box pops up, you need to select content, aware among all the other options, and then just hit OK and see the magic. So as against see here for the shop has done a pretty nice job. I'm not sure if you can see this. It has removed the bosom from the image, and it's very hard to tell that there was some person who was in this image. So that is what basically, content where is on in some of the Gators content Aware does not work where the background is very busy. Lessons check out this example like suppose If I wanted to remove this person who's holding Anggada, let's see what magic doesn't do. So I made a selection. I right, clicked on it. I just fill and then Condon aware and I hit. OK, so as Agencia it has not. Then it properly reason being this background was very much busy in nature. I mean, the background was very busy. So even if you tell for yourself to replicate those images, it won't do it properly. So coming back to this example, so content aware feature works perfectly fine when you have the surrounding region very plain and simple and not too busy. So this is one very useful tool that will be using in the further examples when creating cinema graph. So, my dear friend, that's it for this lecture where you learned masking and content aware. 5. Photoshop Timeline Introduction: Hello and welcome to the cinema graph masterclass. So in this lecture, we're going to learn what is a timeline and what are the features offer? Timeline. So here's my four shop and these are my lists, if you can see. So actually this example is already done. I was creating the cinema graph, Andi says. Wouldn't done so In order to see the timeline, we need to go up here in the windows and then click on timeline. So where's Agencia now? We can see the timeline. Let me zoom or for you. If you drag it towards left, it will zoom out. And here you can see the time stamps. So basically, this is what time Lang is. And once you have done with Teal cinema graph to export it, you need to click on this wagon and hit render video. Then you read it with this dialog box and you can fill out the details like name, destination and so on. And once it's done, you can hit on Brenda. So that's pretty much it for the timeline on. 6. Export Settings: Hello one. Welcome to the cinema graph masterclass. So in this letter will be learning all the different export settings that we have, which other good ones and which are the ones that we should avoid after we are done making our cinema graph. So let's get started. So here is my project. If you can see, I'll quickly go up here and choose timeline so that we can see the effect. So this is basically moving forward and backward. So this is all cinema graph and now to exported, we have two options we can either exported as a gift. G i f all began exported as a video. No gifts are an immediate images that we see on the indifferent. Everywhere on websites on social media Web side Onda, they are as compared to the reduced they have a little lesser quality on day are also off a bit smaller size. So, in case if you want to export this as a ziff, so head over to file then hit export and then to say for Web legacy, the shorter for this is old shift control. And as for the window so this window will pop up on Right now, it's taking some time because the cinema graph is a bit heavy on, even though my computer has pretty nice specifications. So here you'll choose. Give on in this menu. Choose adaptive. See the number of colors you can choose. 2 56 Just remember one thing. The higher the number you choose, the better the quality of the gift will be, and also it will increase the size off the gift Right now, if you see the size off, the gift is 40 M B, which is a pretty big on. It might not be a suitable size to be made for a browser on Ben, so if you want, you can choose 1 28 to reduce the size of it. Convert to S RGB. That is fine. Andi Loping should be forever. So what I generally do is to make it a bit smaller. I reduce the resolution so I'll make it up to around 500 and then let's see, how does it look? So it's taking a bit off time. So now this has taken some time, and right now, if you can see the size as decrease and it is now around one. And B, which is are pretty decent size now, will quickly export the sun and see How does it look and remember, guys. One thing. The cinema graph has around 500 frames. Yes, that's right. So it's like 500 different images, and that was the reason why it was showing around 40 MB. So anyway, will hit. Save. I will save the destination on now. It's saving it as a Jiff. So let's go and see. How does it look? So one thing you need to remember is to see Jeffs. You won't be able to see them in your default photo or video player. You need to see them in the browser. So the way to do that is just head over to the fold away. You have saved the gift right click on this Jews open with, and you can either Jews, Internet Explorer or groom or whatever browser you're using. So in this case, I'll use Internet Explorer. So as you can see, it's playing pretty nicely. Andi. Yes, this was the Jif, but we just made So this is about the Jeff. So that's how you exported into Jeff now, The second option which is the more recommended option from me, is exporting it as a video. This way, even the size will be smaller and the quality will be very much high. And even video can be uploaded on social media sites like Instagram Facebook. So you do not need to worry about the compatibility. So in order to export it as a video, once you have them making all your editing in the cinema graph this. Come here, click on this Aiken and then choose render video. So when you do that, you will be greeted with this dialog box where you need toe but the name off the file. You need to choose a folder, then just keep all these settings as it is in this one. The preset quality should be high always, and the resolution should be exactly what you have chosen while creating the document. Make sure the ranges work area on, then hit surrender. So when you heard render, it will take some time on. After that, you're redoing we exported, and once it's exported, I'll show you. How does it look? So this is my exported radio on. Let's just hit play and see the animation. So yeah, it's playing pretty nicely. And as you can see, the resolution is 108010 Pedro, which is a pretty decent resolution for social media platforms on if you see the size off it the size off This video is around 8 a.m. B. Which is pretty nice, as if you remember. In the case of the Jeff, it was coming at around 40 and B if exported into its original resolution, which is one generator by 1080 pick cells. Then later on, we degraded it into 500 by 500 pixels, and then the size came down to one MB. So this is one of the major differences between exporting it into a Jeff versus exporting it as a video. The video will consume less of space and will be off a better quality than the Jeff. So I hope you found this lecture insightful, and I hope you learn something new. So since it's black right now and as we have already learned in the previous lectures that anything that has black background can be easily removed using the blend more. So I'll go up here and make sure this overly effected selected and I'll click on this particular thing and choose screen and hit. OK, I'll tell you what happens when you choose cream. So this was a normal more. I'll click here and choose screen. Well, I'll show you the other modes. Also, if you see here, every blend moored does some on the other kind off thing. With this layer, it's colored dodge. It's overly so right now and for the most part in this entire masterclass will be using this screen or lighten. I'm using screen here. I'll hit end up now to see if there's any animation or not. First we need to goto Windows and enable Lee Time Lane. So if you take a look, the effect is happening only in the half region off this picture and not on the upper part of this picture, which looks very old. And right now it's feel as if this snow effect is magically coming from this particular imaginary, some kind off lying is there because off which it's coming here and that's a really nor the look that we're aiming for. So and as you can see here, there is the sharp boundary off that overly effect because it was a video, if you can see so this pretty glow lying can be visible even if you changed into screen, which is very obvious. So one way to get rid of that is by selecting this layer coming down, hear clicking on this thing and making levels and just mainly a right clicking, creating a clipping mosque on Ben, dragging the layer all the way to the right so it will vanish so it has vanished. But it still does not solve our problem, which is occupying this particular region also so in this case, we won't be using the levels with this deleted on Waterloo is I'll make a public it off this layer and then actually, what has to be So I'll hit control or command G. So this is the image, and as you can see, it it has freed perfectly, but additionally, if you want, you can play around with it. You can hit control or command t holy or key, and if you're using previous virginal four shop earlier than to the 19 then you also need to hold shift along with old and then using the left mouse button dragon outside. But if you're using it all before the shop 2019 and above, you only need to hold oiled plus left mouse button and dragged outside to make it bigger. 10. Particles Effect: Hello and welcome to the cinema graft masterclass. So in this master class, we're going to learn How can we make a cinema graph using a particles effect? So, for this example, will be using the particle effect because I've saved these stars overly effect for another project, which I'll be showing you very shortly in some other lecture. So let's go back to the Ford Nowhere. I have saved the particles effect overly so this is the particle overly effect. I'll just drag it and bring it into my photo shop on display. Sit here, I'll hit enter. So now first things first we need to do is we need toe. Come here in the Lius panel here, make sure you're effect overly is selected and go to the blend more section and Jews cream So as soon as you chose screen the black thing that was here, I'm sure you once again the black thing that it was here and vanished on. We're only left with the particles. So now I'll go up here the windows, and I'll choose timeline. I was hit. Create redo timeline. And as you can see, let me just zoom out and to zoom out. I have a bad idea we can simply rotated on. Here's a quick tip for your ways while rotating. If you want to do it freely, you can just do it with the mouse button like this. So once you've downloaded it, let's get started. So I opened up my photo shop. I let create new on the stained. The resolution that I'm going to choose is 1200 by one Tuesday original. So as we have discussed it earlier, there are many resolution that can be used for your social media posts. Normally for a square post, I used 1200 by 1200 which I think is pretty good as compared to 10 a drop by 1080 pixels because I generally felt that the quality off the image comes out very crisp and clear in 1200 by 1200 pixels. So once done, I hit create. Now I'll go to my Computers folder where I have stored the resources. So this is the image, so I'll just drag it and bring it into my document. So as you can see, the white empty spaces are owned This picture also, we need to completely fill it for that. I let control or command de Onda just this thing into my document. Now here's a quick tip for you. If you're using auto before the shop 2019 then to transform anything uniformly, all you need to do is just hit control, command E and using a mouse, you can do it uniformly as you want. So first we need to get rid of that. So how are we going to do it? So I'll come here to the Layers panel. I'll double click on this icon so it will open the image in a fresh new document. For now, I think I need to get rid of this timeline because I don't need it. So just go to Windows Timeline while it said and zoom it. So I think to remove this, I we need to use couple of tools. And as we have discussed in the previous lectures in the beginning there, there's this thing called content aware. So we'll use that. So I'll hit L for lasso tool and draw. Uh, need selection around this, then I'll it right. Like Phil, Make sure content aware a circular It Okay, and let's force up do its magic. So and then hit control or command Be. As you can see, it tried to do a good job, but it kind of field, so we'll try it. Once again. I'll hit L. I'll draw selection around it. Right click Phil content aware control of humanity. So as you can see this, it's not probably able to do it, so we have to do it manually. For this. We're going to use the stool called Clone Stamp, too, and you can adjust the size of it using the bracket buttons on your keyboard so the ideas will copy one particular patch, often area and paste it on to the other patch, which is our destination, or basically the place that we want to fix. So I think this black region is very good on it. Looks good enough to be pasted from sort of those. I'll hold old and click the right mouse button and drag it all the way to the up. That will make my brush very soft, and that's exactly what we want. I think that's good to go. It's making bigger time to go beyond Pace it, so I'll hit Old and Gloria and based it, I'll again come here. Hold old click ones, Gloria. And based it. I can also do it from here. So I think I need to do this couple of times before we can see our image getting fixed. You know, a lot of time content aware does not work. But till the time there was no content aware. We used to do using this method move. That was a lot of work, but I think it has speed off. So I think it looks good. So once here, then just hit control or command s. So once you're good to go, you can come on this Aiken and click on this hit Rent a video. So here you can enter the name off your file. You can select the folder we wanted to be stored and then just leave. All the settings are adobe media encoder. Format quality should be. I make sure you have the same resolution that we had chosen in the beginning. Frame rate should be 30 as it is and just leave all the options as it is and hit Orender now, depending on the conflagration off the PC and the size off the document, it will take some time. So in this lecture, we're going to learn How can we make a cinema graph using the lightening effect? So once you have downloaded, just opened for the shop and create a new document in this case, I'll be creating a 10 angel by 1350 image because the picture that I'm using for this example is a bit elongated. I'll show you if we remove this layer, which is if we just switch it off, you can against the lightning. So this is one off the work around. But before we begin, I request you to download the resources which is an image, and the firework overly affect itself. And this can be found in the download section of this video. So make sure don't know that, and then we can begin. So I have opened up my photo shop and I'll hit, create new And this time the resolution which I'm taking is 19 to 0 by 1080 Excel reason being the image which I'm using is, ah, horizontal image on it has the resolution off a full HD. So for the purpose off this tutorial, I'll be taking the same resolution. So I'll hit create. So I'll come to the folder where I have this image located. I'll click it Dragon Tomei for the shop and hit Endo. Now it is not fitting in the canvas, so I let control a command T and I'll make it bigger so that it fits into this canvas. I'll hit V and using the arrow keys, I'll nudge it off a bit up. Now here's a quickly for you if using the adobe for the short version 2018 17 16 and all those previous version. So to transform anything uniformly, you need to hold the shift key and drag it all the way wherever you want. But if you're an auto before 2019 and above, you're not supposed to hold shipped key. You can just drag it using your most, but along with the old key. If you want toe, enlarge it from the center. That said, if you just drag it from the corner until it will enlarge from the corner. But if you're all key and drag it, it'll get and not from the center. So here, as you can see, there's this beautiful picture off this ship. So using the Content Aware Tool, as we had used earlier, we can remove the so al it l for lasso tool and make a need selection around this right click. Phil, make sure condon a very selected Okay, gone perfect. We'll do the same thing here. Create a need selection around this, right? Like goto Phil. Content aware. Okay. Perfect. Last but not the least one It l make a selection around this. Right click. Goto Phil, make sure continuity selected hit. Okay. Perfect. Right now, you won't be able to see it because we need to change the blending more off it. So to begin with, I request you to download the image and the overly effect filed from the download section on this page so that you can follow along with me. So let's get started. So I have opened up for the shop. Andi, I'll hit, Create new again. The resolution I'll be taking is 1080 by 1350 because the image that I am using is in the vertical form, so I'll just hit Create. Now let's get back to the fold over at the image stored. So this is the image. I'll just drag it and bring it here. So I need to transform it so that it fits perfectly onto the canvas. And here's a quick tip for you. If you're using or no before December 2019 then once you have this thing selected using control or command V, then all you need to do is hold your old key and the most button and drag any off the arrows, and it will transform it unique formally. But if you were to do the same thing in previous versions off before the shop, which is all the versions prior to 2019 then what you need to do is hit control command key hole. You shift key along with that, hold the oil key and then dragged the corners off the image. Otherwise, if you do not hold the shift key than this is what's going to happen and this is the mistake, which a lot of big enough for the shop he was this make which I don't want you to make anyway. So this is the image, and if you can see, here's a photographer with a very fantasy looking sky. Firstly, it has been edited already because you can never find the sky with blue and orange astern. So keep it till and I'd like to keep the duration off. 20 seconds on this particular start effect is pretty pretty, pretty long. So listen, drag it and bring it up to 20 seconds. So in this master class, we're going to learn How can we make a cinema graph using the sparkle overly effect? So before we begin, I request you to please download the resources given in the download section, which is an image and an overly effect. So once you've done that, let's jumping straight into for the shop. So this is my fourth assault. I'll hit. Create new to create a new document, and the resolution that I will be taking is 10 age grew by 1350 because the image that I'll be using for this tutorial is an elongated one that is in a vertical form. Then, to transform any image uniformly, you need toe hit control, a commodity, hold the shift key and then dragged the corners off the image to transform it uniformly. So once that is done, I'll hit tender. So as you can see, this is an image off a woman who's holding two off the firecrackers in both off her hands. And if you remember the lecture in which we were working with the fire overly effect, we were kind of dealing with the same thing, which is a static image off off fire inside the picture that we need to get rid of properly . 21. Cloud Effect: Hello and welcome to the cinema graph, Master glass. So in this master glass, we're going to learn How can you make a cinema graph using the clouds overlay effect? So before we begin, I request you to please download the resources, which is an image and the overly effect itself from the download section. And once you've done that, let's open for a job and, um, straight into it. So here I have opened my photo shop. I'll just had create new and create a document. I'll be thinking the same resolution, which I have taken in most off the project so far, which is 1080 by 1350 pixels. This is because the image that I'm using for this example is in the vertical form on this resolution fits perfectly into it, so let's it create. Now let's go to the folder where I have this image stored. So I'll just drag this Mitch and bring it into my photo shop. Hit Endo. Now, as you can see, some white space is left on the both side off the scandal so we can fix that by stretching our image, which means basically transforming it. So for that, I let control or command V on. If you're on a know before this up, two dozen 19 all you have to do it just dragged the corners off this image, and it will transform uniformly. But if you're using the previous versions of fourty shell, that is for the shop 2018 17 16 CS and all the other previous versions, Then to transform it uniformly, you have to take one extra step, and that is after eating control or command T. So once you have done that on a keyboard hit controlled shift and I so that will inverse the section and now head over to the layers panel. Leah, go here down and click on this mosque. I can. So before we begin, I request you to please download this still image from the download section off this lecture and then begin working on it along with me. So I opened for the shop and I'll create a new document on the resolution, which I'm taking is 1080 by 1350 because the image which I'm using for this example, I wonder Toby in a vertical form and which is perfectly suited for Instagram post. So I'll hit, create. I'll go to make a beautiful order and bring the image which is stored over there on just dragged and bring it here. I will just adjust it so that it fits. I Let's move it a bit here and place it here. So this is an image off rabbit, very nice rabbit. And the idea is to make it look as if the rabbit is breathing. So I've opened up my photo shop and I'm creating one new document. So the resolution that I will be taking is 19 to 0 by 100 This is the full HD resolution. So I'll just import the image from my local folder on my computer, So I just did. That limit is transforming uniformly, so it covers the entire canvas. I'll hit enter. So as you can see, it's an image off our desktop with for the shop opened in it on. There's something written on it. I think the person is designing something so the ideas will be putting a glitch screen on this one. But the cool part is the glitch will only be in this work area off the force up. And it won't be affecting these regions on these particular menus and to a section. So first of all, I need to resize this image so that it fits in perfectly into the scandals. So in this lecture, we're going to learn How can we make a cinema graph using key friends off a woman with a candy on and that will be revolving the candy while having the entire women in Still. I'll drag any off the corners off this image until it fits perfectly. So in this particular example, I'll be using a picture off a person who has a cigarette in his mouth, and we'll be animating the smoke coming out off it, and also we will add some fire effect into his eyes on. This will look very, very cinematic on as well as very attention, Woody. So before beginning, I would request you to please go ahead and down on all the resources from the Devil North section. So once you have done that, let's proceed into 40 show. So I opened up my for the shop I'll had created. New on the resolution I'll be taking is 10 aged rib eye 1350 pixels because the image that I'm using for this example is in its kind off vertical form and on Instagram, this resolution works perfect for vertical pictures, so I'll hit create now, time to import the picture, so I have it stored into my local folder. So I let's take this picture and drag it into for the shop, and I need to transform it so that it fits the canvas on. Now here's a quick before transformation. If you're using a lobby for the stock tutors and 19 than to transform a uniformly, all I need to do is holy oil key and drag any off the corners off this picture. But if you're on any previous versions off before the shop, which is earlier than 2019 that is 2018 17 16 and so on. Andi, make sure it is positioned near this cigarette. Now let me just play the animation so the animation is playing really slow. Let me just increase it a bit more and let's see, how does it look now? Even now, it's very slow, so we need to decrease the duration of the animation, so I'll bring until 15 seconds and let's see now it's still not working will bring it toe 10 seconds here, then play. So if I quickly regret right now, we have learned how to make cinema graph Using either G frames off a still image are using a still image and applying an overly effect onto it. So basically, those are the two methods that we have learned making cinema grafts from. But in this lecture, we're going to learn How can you make a cinema graph using video only. And that's to remind you we are not going to use any kind of key frames or any sort of overly effect to achieve this cinema graph. So without for the rule, let's get started. Now, before we begin, I request you to please download the resources from the download section off this lecture so that you can practice along with me. So once you have downloaded, it just opened up for the shop like I have done create a new document by clicking here on the resolution that I'll be going with this 1080 by 10 AIDS. It'll this is the resolution off a square post on Instagram on. Also, there's no any hard and fast rule to choose the resolution. But since most over several graphs are posted on Instagram, so I'll be using the resolution, which is best suited for a square post on that is 10 a July 1 through injury pixels. Once I've done that, I'll hit, create. So now let's just import the video and do this document so I just drag it and place it over here. Okay, so now, as you can see, this is the video, and the idea is to animate her here. And how are we going to do that is First, I want you to have a look at the original video. You can hit control or shift and E. And if you're using Mac, I just put the name of the buttons on the screen. You can just press that and get the job so I'll quickly hit control or shift and e. So there you go. A newly A has been created, and this is a still image. This particular thing is a video, and this is still image which has been created from this free, so we'll quickly give it a name, which is optional. So I just right girl, still image okay and now making it into a smart object. It is really an optional thing because we're not really going to make any animations from this one using key frames. So if you want to make it into a smart object, it's well and good. Otherwise, without it Also, it's going to work perfectly fine because all we're going to do with this image is just make a mosque. So once you have this letter selected, come here down and click on mosque. So right now you can see it. A layer off must has been created. Now I'll take a brush. And then what we're going to do is make sure you have the black in the foreground selected , and then we're simply going toe paint over the areas which we want to animate on, which is the hair. So right now, if you can see it, we are able to see it. Any meeting But still there are some places which are very still. So we need to take care of that. So we'll paint them as well. And if the video was short on a trip or which is not the case, but still we will try to get the best possible outcome from this one. So I just click here on try toe, keep all the here that we can for the animation. Let me to see it now. So a little bit here also can be seen also here, Old Silvio. So I just typically so if you're able to see this when I'm playing this particular region, it looks very, very still. So we also need toe paint this area off her hair. So let's just see how does it look now? So it looks pretty nice. I think I might just want to keep this kind off still so because it's giving a very unrealistic failure. So what it has done is it has made this region in tow still, So it's not looking very realistic. Let me just paint it with Sorry. Let me just painted with black and see. So let me just make it small here. So let me just tell you, this much off issue would have been there had this video being short on a tripod. So there's a lot of refining that is to be done in this one. So basically that is how we animate. I think we need to animate here a bit, so I'm just painting it with white because I want this region. Toby still So, yeah, that was it. We had to do kind off some refining because this was not short on a driver, and there was a lot of movement off head, so I think it's pretty much good to go. So once you're done with all the animation, just come over to this region, select book dealers, right click on it and created into a smart object. But as I always say this, do it only when you're completely done with all kinds off everything and animation. Because once you created a smart object, if you want to come back and make some changes, it will get kind off a bit difficult. Not impossible. But I've been difficult. So take the step only when you're completely done with your animation, so I'll create a duplicate layer off this one, and then I'll try to drag it and bring it into the same rule. Then I'll click on this. I can. I'll take a cross fade and place it in between the board clips. Now I just play and see the transition. Not bad. So this is all. We're going to increase the derision on this cinema graph on the Morelia's. You make you more directional. This clip will be so others create one Morelia just ones on. Then we'll export this cinema graph. So, Alec Control or Command V, So has the new duplicate. Lay off this one. I'll head over to this one. Click on cross feed on, Bring it in between these clips. Make sure you have the preset quality as high. The resolution should be the same. The rain should be the work area on. You need not make any of the changes here now, Once it didn't hit on Brenda. Now, depending on the configuration off a PC, this might take some time to get exported, so I'll quickly pause the video and come back when it's done. So now it's done. So in this lecture, we're going to learn How can we make a cinema graph from video without using any off the key frames or overly effect? So before we begin, I request you to go ahead and download all the resources from the download's section so that you get practice along with me. So once have them that let's open up for the shop. So this is my force up and I'll create a new document. So the resolution that I'll be taking for this example is 19 to 0 by 108 through reason with the video which I have is in the 16 is to nine aspect ratio and also because I've tested it in the square form as well as the elongated form which is 10 a job I want to fight through. And it didn't look that good because the different the composition of the video is in such a manner that it looks nice only in the horizontal format which is 19 to 0 by 1080 pixels. So let me just hit on create now this against now Let's have a look at the video itself, which is saved into my folder on this computer. So this is the video off father and a child who are enjoying fishing in a broad delayed alongside some small lake or river. I guess I don't know. So this is the video, and we'll be playing along with this one in this lecture. So let me just quickly import this into four so I'll just drag it and place it on to my canvas on. This fits perfectly onto my cameras because even the canvas size and also the resolution off the video is completely sane, which is 19 to 0 and 10 AIDS. Tropic Cells Now well, quickly go into the window option. Here, click on Timeline. This will bring this timeline window on. I'll hit, create video timeline. So this is the timeline. Oh, now using this small little again, you can zoom out and zoom in, zoom out and zoom in. Now let's make this in a graph off upto 30 seconds, which I think is a good duration. Now let's just zoom in a bit and let's just try toe scrubbed this play head bar and try to see the different gyno motions in this video. So as with all the cinema graphs that you have seen the long, it's very good to keep our human very still and around that human, whatever parts we have, whatever objects we have can be in motion. So if we talk about this case, we can have the father and the son very much still, while having their legs moving by having this water moving. And also, if you can see these plants in the background there also moving, I'll show you if we fast forward and very quickly conceded there also moving. So these other things that we can have moving while keeping both off their upper body still . So how are we going to do that? So, for that, all we need to do is find a good frame from this whole video, where you think it will look good. So let me just have a look. I'm just playing through it and trying to find a perfect still frame from this video. I think when they are smiling at each other, this looks like a good friend. I think I would go with this one I think it's good and you can choose any of the frame. Also, it totally depends on you. Whatever you feel good is for your cinema rough. In my case, I think smile as good as we go. Smile represents positivity. Good Viiv on all these good things. So I'm happy with this frame, so I'll head over to the Layers panel here. Make sure this is selected and not some other leaders. Make sure this is selected, and then on your keyboard, you'll hit control. Old Shift plus E on Windows for Mac, you can see the buttons on the screen. That is what you will be using. So I'll quickly hit control or shift. And what will that do it? Create a still image from this particular frame, so it's like taking a screen short in your phone, so I had control or shifty. So, as you can see, no, it has created one new Leah on You can make it into a smart object optionally, because right now we're not playing with any kind of key frame, so we need not make it into a smart object. But it's up to you. You can make it for this example, I won't be making it. And some of the examples I have made it, and in some I haven't so and this one I won't be making it at this. Rename it because it's a good practice to bring them your letters so that whenever you are going to them, you can quickly figure out which is which one. Also, I will drag it all the way to the beginning and keep it a till the whole duration off this cinema graph. Now it's time to come over to the layers panel here, select the still image. Come down over here, click on Mosque Aiken. So we have created a mosque, so that is, will be masking all the areas that we want in motion. And for that I'll be taking a brush by hitting be. I will take the radius around this much and make sure you have black in the foreground. Right now. It's white, so you can easily talk it by either pressing on this Aiken or hitting X. So now it's black, so we'll go on paint all the areas that we want emotion. So basically it will reveal the underneath video, which is lying below this still image, so we'll just paint here. Also. Here's a quick tip for you. If you want to see what exactly your painting on this picture, you can head over. Do this mosque. Aiken. You can hold order and shift and click on the mouse button so that it will reveal whatever things you have painted here. Okay. To remove this, you can hit old and shift and once again with the mouse click. So it has gone another shot. Good for this one is to press the backward slash button on the keyboard, which is usually just below the backspace key. So I let backwards slash. So it had just revealed whatever I have painted, so it makes things a bit easier for you. So we'll also repainting these crosses because I want them also to be in the motion now while hit backwards. Slash to remove this red thing. Now let's just scrub through the play head bar and see How does it look? So it's looking pretty nice if you pay a closer look. This is something which is not working here, So what we can do is we can take the brush and painted up the knees off, both off them. Okay, so now if you played so if you take a proper look at his fingers, we can still see some imperfections, so we will quickly fix that. So let's just painted with black again. Does it work? No, it's not working, so it's better toe. Paint them with the white color. So I do the white color here and I'll being his hand with the white color. So that way we have again brought over the still image again. We see some kind off imperfection. We again fixer by clicking on white again. We'll fix that also. Andi, I think it is perfectly fine right now on again. If you want to go very refined, you can be in these areas also. I don't know. How will it look? So let's just plate and have a look. Now it's not working, so we just leave that, um, if you wanna go more detail, you can paint over these areas very minute, Lee. But it's too much off the risk to get into bed, so I would just stick with. As you can see, it's not. It's again showing some imperfections because the video is moving, so we'll just undo that on. We will stick to our previous cinema graph. So right now, if you can see everything is motion. But but But when I'm coming in at around 20 seconds, you can see this bar moving so we'll take a brush will take the white color in the foreground. We will very gently being over this. Now let's see if there's any imperfection. Also here we can see the head off the father again. We need to paint this one. Originally, what we could have done is we COLAs simply reduced the length off this and dress and a graph up till 20 seconds because still releasing it was perfect. But I chose the other way, and I chose to have it completely till 30 seconds, thereby removing all the imperfections. Now let's take it all the way to the starting and let's play and have a look nice. So it looks very unique. I think that's good to go. And once you're done, just hit on this, I can choose render video. Give this a nice name like Father's son fishing. Select this folder. Leave all the settings intact without any Jane into it. Make sure the precept quality is high. The resolution is what were chosen in the beginning, and the rain should be the work area. So once you've done that, hit on render now give it some time to render this video, and once it's done, I'll come back and show you the final result. So the rendering is now completely. Let's go ahead and take a look at the final result. So this is the final result, and it's very nice. You can see their Lexus and motion. The water is in motion. Even the plans are in motion and even this person is in motion on this video is at around 30 seconds, and additionally, if you want to make it longer, you can duplicate the layer and apply cross fade in between as we have already seen in previous lectures. We won't be using any overly effect or any kind off key frame. So before we proceed, I highly recommend you to please download all the resources from the download's section so that you can practice along with me. So once you've done that, just opened up for the shop, and this create a new document. So for this example, the resolution that I'll be using is 19 to 0 by 10 it through. The reason being, because they re did that, I'll be using it in the 16 is to nine horizontal form on for that. This is the resolution that you should go with. So once I've done that, I let create. So now I'll be importing the video, which is in one off my folder on the computer, So let's just quickly import it. As you can see, it has fit properly into the canvas. Otherwise, we would have had toe transform it and make it a bit larger or smaller, depending on its size. So let me just get over, toe the windows on click on Timeline creatively do timeline so that we can watch this video on. Depending on the convolution off the PC, you might see a bit off leg while scrubbing through it. You can additionally, play this button, so let's displayed. So since it's for shop on, basically it's not meant for videos, primarily. So that is the reason why it buffers on kind off structures. But that's fine. We will be using this software only to make a cinema graph that exactly what we have been doing. So, as you can see, this video is around 12 seconds. So the idea off the cinema graph is this lady walking into this field. So we will select one off the frame from this video on, Then accept this lady all the other regions, which is especially this grass, Andi. Maybe some areas off this will be in motion on this lady will be standing still. So that is the idea. And to achieve that, we will have to take off frame from this entire video. We create a new layer off it and then mask all the layers. As in, we will reveal all the lists underneath that mosque so that we will be able to see the grass is in motion. So first things first. I need to choose a point, a sweet sport where I want this women to just stand. And then we will create a frame from it. Another tip which I would like to give this. If you are shooting any video with the intention of making it into a cinema graph later on , then please please always shoot it on our tribe board because the result that will get after shooting on a triple is phenomenal as compared to reduce such as this, where it's not stabilized and it's moving on as you know, for the purpose off the studio I'm using such stock footage is because I was not having access to all the resources toe shoot such a video. So now I'll quickly scrub the play head bar, and I will try to find us board where I think we could have the woman stand still. This may be, Yeah, I think this is the point that I would want this particular frame Toby the face off this cinema graph. So once I've decided by frame, I'll head over to the layers panel. I'll click on this layer and then I'll hit control or shift and E. This is for the windows for the Mac. You can see it on your screen right now. I have put it on the screen, so just hit brewskies and you will create one still frame from this video, so I'll quickly press control or shift. So now, since our play Hardball was on this version, so it has placed the layer at this vision will quickly drag it and bring it to the starting off this timeline, and we'll also go ahead and increase the delusional effectively. Give this a nice name. Woman in dress. Now select the folder. Make sure you have the preset quality set as high. 33. Double Exposure - Part I: Hello and welcome to the cinema graph masterclass. So in this lecture we're going to learn a different and unique kind off a cinema graph, which is called the double exposure cinema graph. Now, basically, what this means is in the world of photography, there's one concept called double exposure, which means that you combine two different pictures in tow. One toe. Give it a very unique look to help you understand more better. I'll show you some examples off double exposure. Let's see that first. So this is the first example off double exposure. So if you pay closer attention to this, but you can see this there is an image off a woman and inside of which we can see very nice image off some trees. Let's go ahead and take a look at some different examples. So this is also an example off a double exposure. So primarily if you see there are two images one off this man's head and another one off this man's head. Like if you see within this head, there's one image off forest with a man walking on the forest land a lot of time. Instead, off these second image being inside off the first image. A lot of time it can go outside to like if you see this image so you can see a lot of buildings which are coming out office head. They are not exactly inside off its head. And that's also kind of effect that we see in double exposures. Now let's go ahead and take a look at the third example. So this is again a very nice example off double exposure. We have a person here on inside of which you can see a very nice wall. People, forests. Andi. I guess it's clicked in the morning because we can see the sun razor. So basically, these are Cordy double exposures in the world of photography. So using this concept of double exposure, we're going to apply your technique on achieve the look and create that cinema rough. So for that, let's jump straight into for the shop. So I have opened my for a job. I'll hit. Create new document on the resolution that I'll be taking is 1080 by 1350 Again, as I say, it totally depends on the project and the requirement that you're working on the resolution could be anything from full HD to square balls toe more off vertical posts like this one. And this I'm taking, particularly because I want to upload this on the instagram. So for the vertical post, this resolution works very nicely, so I'll hit. Create. So now here's a quick information for you. I'll making two parts off this double exposure cinema graph because I want you to learn it from scratch. First, I will teach you how to make a basic double exposure, using still images only. No cinema graph, no animation, no video, nothing. You'll be learning the basic kind of for double exposure using two images. And once we complete that, then I'll be moving on toe, making a cinema graph using double exposure. So the first part will be basic double exposure, and the second part will be making a cinema graph from that image. So I'll be requiring an image off a man, which I have saved in my computer. So let's quickly go into it and imported into for the shop. So this is the image that I will be working a quickly dragging the photo shop and hit ender . I will resize it. Control command D on using the old key on this dragon. I'll just drive one of the corners. And if you're using previous versions off for show, which is all the versions before 2019 then you need to also hold the shift key along with the all key, and then drag any of the corners of this picture to transform it uniformly. But if you're using, it will be for this up to the other 19. Then you only need to hold the oil key and drag any of the corners off this picture. So let me just move it towards right a bit. So the idea is that I'll be separating this man from the background and inside off his entire body orders head portion that you can see. We will be adding another image for the double exposure effect. So first things first. We need to make a selection off this person, and most easiest way in this case could be using quick selection on you could use other selection method also like lasso tool polygonal, lasso, tool pento and so on. A totally depends on you, but since the person is in very contrast with the background on the colors are totally, very distinguishable off this man in the background. So in this case, the quick selection will work very nicely. So I just had W. Or you can go into the stool section here and click on this wagon. So this is the quick selection tool. So at this, click on it and this dragged and quickly make a selection. So as you can see, it has not made a problem selection here on also, and this illusion off this hair but not to worry, will be taken care of it very soon. So once you have made a selection, just hit control shift I and for the Mac, you can see the short goods on the screen. So now when you have it, control shift. I is going to this little panel on Justin gets. If you're not able to see this like if it's invisible here, just hit the F seven key or you can go up here, click on windows on Jews layers. Okay, now head over to the list and I'll make sure this layer is selected. Come down here and click on this mask Agon. So once you click it, you can see whatever we had selected that remains on the background is gone, but we won't be doing that just yet. This had controlled there on. I need to make some little adjustments in order to complete that. So once you have selected this head over to select on click on Select and Mosque now you can zoom in a bit. And my intention to make this was as a conceit here. The selection is not very smooth, so I need to smooth in it. For that, I'll come towards the right side. I'll make sure this smart radius is selected. Then I'll drag the slider a bit to see. How does it exactly? Look, Andi, I will just slide it. If you can see here, you can see the effect. Actually, once again, I take it back all the way to the left and see. It's not smooth. Now I'll just drag this and see. Now it's getting smooth. Okay, so you existing to find the sweet sword, I think, then works fine for me and then will come down here, click on this one, and then click newly a with a layer mask. Then you need to take a brush, give it a bit smaller size. Keep the hardness up to around 40 to 50% and then this randomly paint over it. We will take care of it. Do not worry on also near the this region. Okay, so these other isn't That was overlooked by the quick selection. So, according to me, I think the best way to select this one would be using the mental. So you'll come here on this layer panel, click on this. I can on then take a pendulum using B and draw a very nice selection around it. on. If you can see, you were about to complete a selection. And when you make the final anchor point here when you come and about to meet the first anchor point that you had started with, you'll see there will be a small zero or small Oh, kind of a symbol, which means that selection is now going to get completed. This have a look. You see that you see that zero or Elikann? So as soon as you ovary amounts over to the first anchor point, you can see that zero. You just need to click on it. So once you have clicked on it, now you can see your selection is always complete and then hit control or command. And so you can see this marching and things. So now we have selected. Now come back to Les Panel again. Click on this. I can take a brush. Make sure you have black because we want to remove some items. Keep the size around this much. Maybe on hardness around 40 to 50% and then just simply paint over it. I think I might want to increase some hardness. And once it understood control, aka Mandy that said, I think we need to take care of it a little bit here because I'm not liking this particular reason you that's good to go, and we'll come down here and do the same thing for this region also. So I'll take my pen tool. Make sure I have this Aiken selected because guys see whenever you're making any selection , you need to choose this Aiken, And whenever you're doing any operational masking, then you need to choose this layer. Okay, so I'll quickly create a selection around this one. And again the same thing. I'll just over over the first anchor point that I had made, and you can see that zero sign. I'll click on it. And then I had control of German, and then I'll take a brush. Make sure foreground color has black selected. I looked through the size of the brush on hardness. Could be around 70 to 80%. Come to the less familiar click on this again and paint it with the black color. Perfect. Let's go back and see. Yes, now it looks perfect. Additionally, to make things even more smooth and even more shop, you can come to a less Vandalia. Click on this again holding the control of command G like this, then had control shift. I again head control shift I. So now we have selection off this man. Only then come here to select head selected mosque and then be using shift edge, Just shift the edge a little bit towards left. Let me to see if it's making any changes. So now that a man is selected and we have removed the background, we can see that the man is now a different separately here. Now it's time to bring in the second image that will be merging with this man. Or you can say it will be inserting inside off this man. So I had the image stored in my computer. But when I do this, the particular clipping mask will get removed automatically. And then we need to make it once again. So I'll just move the public it layer above. And right now, seeing the effect has gone because the moment I moved this upwards, the clipping mask which was clipped onto this layer got removed completely. So not to worry. Will again, rightly going there. And Jews create clipping mosque. So now you can see you are not able to see the effect because we have one there on top of it, which is hiding the effect, if you can see it. The selected obligate layer. Go to the blend more and choose lighten. So now I think you're getting pretty much the idea as to how we can do this. But to make it even more sellable, we need to make slightly little bit off adjustments. So this is how we do come on this New York layer, create a mask for it, take a brush and make it off. Very big size on you can keep the hardness off 0%. And the idea is, I want to reveal the eyes and some regions off this face so that look very nice. Otherwise, right now it's getting covered by this buildings, and it's looking very random. And then bring your brush towards his eye and take it right portion of the canvas. We are not painting here. We're repainting from a distance here, so bring your brush around this year, Andi, gently click on it. Also, I'll be moving a little bit towards left slightly as I'm painting it. I'm making a very subtle movement. We don't want to be very harsh, and I think I should move this image a little bit towards left so weekend. See his geeks on his eyes. And also, if you want, you can reveal the years for that. I'll decrease the size of this brush, head over to the flu and bring it around 45% and then very gently click on the ears once. That's it. 34. Double Exposure - Part II: Hello and welcome to the cinema graph masterclass. So in this lecture, we're going to learn How can we make a double exposure cinema graph from the image that we had created in the previous lecture? So this was the image that we had created where we had this person and inside of which we had inserted an image off city. So let me just save this first, so I'll be using the same image to create an cinema graph. For that. I need to come here and turn this layer off. And we could also give it a name in New York City. Still image. So now, since we have the man, all we need to do is we need toe insert the video file that we want to replace inside off this person. So I have that on my computer. I'll quickly go and import that into for yourself, so I have imported it. As you can see, it's not as big as the person's body, so we need to and large it, so I'll do that quickly on once again. I would like to tell you that whenever you're enlarging, make sure the video file or the image file that you're placing inside the A person should be off the same height. It should only smaller. It could be bigger, but it should not be smaller. So I'll keep it up till here, maybe and hit. Enter. Then we'll come over here to the layers panel. Leah, Right. Click on this one and then create a clipping mosque. As soon as we created a clipping mask, it took the shape off this bosom. And right now we can see it now to proceed with the animation. Then we can again take the help of masking for that head over to the less. Finally click on that video file, come down here, click a mosque. I can take a brush, give it off a very big size, have black selected in the foreground color, go towards the canvas and and this click on it. And you can also play with this floating. Right now I have kept it 45. You can also increase or decrease. As for your need, the more the florid, the more intensity off the brush will be. So I thing I might want to get rid off this. Now let's just scrub the play head bar and have a look Nice. So now this is what we won't see. We are having the animation writer at around his head around is here at the same time. We are also able to see his face very much clearly. So this is how you create a perfect double exposure cinema graph on Additionally, if you want. If you wish to, you can paint it with white to bring some off the areas off the video. Here, too, I'll show you. I'll take white color in the foreground. I'll take a brush off around the size. The hardness should be 0% and I just gently paint over it and see. How does it look now? To me, it's not looking good, so this hit undo it under, So that's it. It says that the white background to me it looks very much simple and boring, so I want to change that for that, I'll replace it with one white wallpaper behind. You can go ahead and use this technique with lighter images and smaller video files on that will work this perfectly without any issues you can try this on.
