1. Introduction: When it comes to marketing,
there's a classic blogging. Every single business at
one point in time has integrated a blog as part of
their marketing initiative, and now it's more
important than ever to utilize blogs strategically
in a smart fashion. In this current powerful class, we're going to be
learning how to utilize artificial intelligence, specifically ChatGPT to create professional blogs with fraction of the time, fraction
of the effort. In addition to creating
newsletters that speak to your customers and your audience regardless of their journey. Are they learning
about your business? Are they learning
about your product or they have bought
something from you before and you'd
like to teach them something new? It's up to you. These tactics give
you the ability to personalize blogs,
personalize newsletters, and speak to your customers
regardless of their walk of life and their stage in terms of engaging with your business.
2. Your Project : Your project revolves around
the creation of a blog post, following the tactics taught as part of the current class, after which you're
going to be sharing your results with the rest of
the community for feedback.
3. Setting Up ChatGPT For Success: Welcome back. Now,
kicking things off, the first thing that we need
to do is properly set up ChatGPT from the get go to get
the best results possible. Often the AI model that
you're dealing with, whether ChatGPT or
other AI model, you need to make sure it's
not just simply a matter of adding a single prompt and getting a result,
and that's it. No, it's an architecture. You need to engage with
it systematically in order to get the best
results possible. That being said,
whatever I'm going to be teaching right now works perfectly fine with the free and the paid versions for ChatGPT. It governs also solid prompt
engineering practices to help you get the
best results possible. That being said, if you have your own ChatGPT account
or you need to create one, simply navigate to Open AI, create your own
account and log in, and you would land exactly at the same interface that
you're seeing right now. If you take a look
at the top left, this is the current model
that we're going to be using, which is the latest
model from Open AI, which is 5.2, which
is quite powerful. Typically, I would go for
one of the legacy models. If you're not able to see this, by the way, the legacy models, you need to enable this
from the settings on your interface once you log
into your account on ChatGPT. Once you navigate to
the legacy models, typically, I go for GPT 40, which is very powerful and gets me results which are quite premium and in line with my own expectations
and preferences. However, the latest model, which I'm going to
be utilizing right now is 5.2 is as good. It's even better in terms of figuring out the actual
results and providing quality results in a
short period of time in line with the expectations
that that being said, in order to go through
the current application, we need to prime ChatGPT. And the first step is, which is one of the most
important steps, is what I call as
priming of ChatGPT. So I'm going to
tell ChatGPT act as a professional blogger in which you are going to help me create blog posts
for my business. Now, as I'm structuring this basic prompt,
you would notice, I have assigned a
role to ChatGPT as a professional blogger
to understand the context. In addition to from
this point onwards, help me create blog posts for M, that space, feel free to add your current situation or context or your
current requirements. If you're a marketing
manager working in campaign, a business owner,
this is the place within the prompt where you
add your own preferences. I'm going to keep it
quite generic right now because the whole point of
this application is to see, did ChatGPT understand
what I needed to do? We're not expecting it right
now to deliver results. No, we are setting it
up to get results. And this is often
the biggest mistake that many professionals they do. They simply combine the
initiation stage with the results from
the get go and they assume that's the best result
possible on the contrary. As you're going to see, you're able to get premium quality, unique AI output, based on the best practices which I'm teaching
you right now. So act as a professional
blogger in which you are going to help me create
blog posts for my business. Obviously, I did not
specify what kind of a business is it.
What is the brand? What is the requirement,
simply initiated with the role and the end goal. And this will help me
confirm the ChatGPT, understand what I
needed to do or not. Based on the feedback,
take a look at this. Perfect. I can act as your professional blogger and content strategist
for your business. Here's what I'll help you do or support you in
doing end to end. Write high quality SEO
optimized blog post, great, align content with the
brand voice, audience, and business goals, create
posts that drive traffic. If you're in the hospitality, I'll write content to boost
appetite trust and football, structure blogs for
Google rankings, repurpose blogs, blog styles, I can write excellent. So by default,
once you get this, you confirm that CHAD GPT
from this point onwards, understood what
you needed to do, and it's actually diving into
the details of the role. This is very powerful from
a marketing perspective, from an application perspective, you are ensuring from the get go the success of your engagement with the generative AI model. Now, this confirms
it even further. To get started, I just
need to answer briefly, and by the way,
you don't need to answer all of these questions. It's a matter of confirmation
at this current stage, and this is the place or the spot when you are setting
up the prompt structure, you are going to fuse
your own preferences. If you are working in a
company, add your details. If you are in charge
of a marketing campaign, add your details. You're a business owner, add your details. Here's an example. What is the business type? What is the brand
name, target audience, tone, main goal of the blog. If you want, I can
also create a plan. Pillar blog, supporting posts, optimized blogs
for local search, for example, so
you get the idea. This is basically the
area where the output becomes uniquely aligned with
your own current situation. And at this current stage, we call it as we have
successfully primed up ChatGPT to deliver
optimal results.
4. Professional Blog Posts and Endless Options: Welcome back. Now, since we have successfully
set up ChatGPT, to provide us with text based
content such as blog posts, for example, I'm going to
be taking it further in terms of generating the output in line with my preferences. So we have properly
set up ChatGPT. Now I'm going to
add some context, some constraints, some themes, some preferences as part of solid prompt
engineering practices to get the best
results possible. So I want you to create a
blog post for my restaurant, which is about the health
benefits of steak. The tone should be friendly. The branding of the
restaurant is luxury, and the main goal of
the blog is to educate. If you notice, I have created the following prompt
structure based on the questions that we have gotten previously from ChatGPT. So I've set up the business
a certain brand name, I'm going to be
adding her right now, the target audience, the tone, the main goal of the blog. This will be quite reflective
of your current situation. You could have a
different business type, different brand name, different target audience, different tone. So at this current stage, you will start getting
results which are uniquely aligned with your
own unique situation. Once you get the primed
up output from ChatGPT, utilize all of these
questions to build the prompt and fuse your own current
professional context. Now, the brand name
is steakhouse. Simple as that. Very
simple, very basic. The whole purpose of this
is for you to understand how to map this to your
own unique application. Take a look at
this very powerful and solid and
professional output. First of all, we've
gotten some images. It has generated some
images to reflect the nature of the
previous prompt. Take a look at the
content of the blog post, the health benefits of steak, a luxurious choice that
nourishes the body. AstakHouse, which
is the brand name, then take a look
at the structure of a block post of
the block post. If you have done this
professionally, by the way, you will understand
it's following blogging best practices to get you solid results which
are quite professional. Now, take a look at the final recommendation
or feedback from ChatGPT. Would you like me to optimize
this blog for local SEO? Rewrite it to an email
newsletter or social media, create a series of health
focused luxury dining blogs. So it's giving you
some context as well. How could you move forward? So we've generated the blog post based on our preferences. I'm going to show you right
now how to change the tone. I'm going to mention
I would like to change the tone
of the blog post. Now, ChatGPT at
this current stage, is going to list different
options for me to pick up from which you
could use for inspiration. At the same time, create multiple pieces of
content or blog post, which will help you when
you are dealing with various segments of
your audience or you are trying to deal with the sentiment of your current customers or audience as well, you're able to craft
different pieces of content using the structure which I'm teaching
you right now. Which tone would
you like instead, pick one or combine two? More conversational warm, more authoritative
and expert led, more indulgent and sensory. You can reply with like this conversational
plus indulgent or authoritative,
but still friendly. Once you confirm, I'll rewrite the full bock post with the new tone while keeping
the luxury branding, educational value, SEO
friendly structure, restaurant credibility. So I'm just simply going
to mention one, that's it. I've selected from the list. Once you understand
the prompt structure and you have crafted
it properly, you would make the
process quite simpler. You don't need to explain
much because you have set up things properly
from the get go. So the tone is more
conversational and warm. So we've gotten the block post to actually reflect that tone. Now, I'm going to actually
move to a different tone. So I'm going to say create
another one with tone two. Now I got variations, the same blog post using
different tones to serve and provide value across
various customer segments, customer sentiments, feedback that you're
getting from the customers. Some of them they enjoy
educational content. Some of them they prefer
more authoritative. Some of them they prefer
more professional. So this gives you
endless variations for the core blog that
you're dealing with. So if you take a look
at the feedback, even the images have
slightly changed. Structure is quite similar, yet you would realize that the wording is quite different. So if you'd like, I can next, create a nutrition
focused blog series. Now you get the idea. We're able to craft block
posts using various tones, various structures.
And not just that. I'm going to show you
right now how could you limit the word count? I want the block post
to be within 700 words. Once the post is rewritten, display the word if you are
doing this professionally, you would notice
that block post, they tend to have a
certain award limit, and you need to
make sure that you are sticking to that word limit. So this gives you
what we call as a constraint from a prompt
engineering structure, you have set up the
foundation properly, but you're adding
your own preferences, your constraints,
your requirements. So now ChatGPT has rewritten
the block post following a certain tone in addition to sticking to the word count
that I have indicated, and how would I confirm this? Simply go ahead and add the prompt like I've
mentioned at the beginning. Within seven words and
display the word count. Once you go towards the
end of the block post, you would have the
word count displayed. Now, a word of caution, make sure that you
are verifying this because sometimes you might
have slight deviations, let's say plus or minus
one to two words. So at this current stage, you were able to and you
are able to generate professional looking block
posts with endless variations, endless tones that align and reflect the essence
of your business, your own marketing campaign, your own marketing initiative, targeting different
audiences based on their own preferences, the tonality of the blog post, including the best practices
from an SEO point of view, as well, in addition to structuring the blog post
in a professional fashion.
5. AI Driven Newsletters: Welcome back. So
we're able to create professional grade blog posts in minutes using ChatGPT and solid prompt
engineering practices. Now let's take it further
by creating a newsletter. So I'm going to mention
right now we are ready to create a series of news letters for various segments
of my customers. Now, what would this do? So, basically, I've requested ChatGPT to create a
series of newsletters, either through email, through a notification
or an update, whatever it is, to address various segments
of my customers. Let's say you got
elderly people, families, you got
children, whatever it is. And you would like to tailor the message from the blog
post across various segments, and you would like to send it
in the form of newsletters. This gives you a
marketing superpower. Instead of having to do
this manually by yourself, from a certain piece of content, you need to create a certain message for
a certain segment. If you've done this manual, it's quite hectic
and time consuming. Now you're able to address
various marketing segments, audience segments,
customer sentiments, regardless of their journey in terms of dealing
with your business, you're able to communicate to them in the
best way possible. So take a look at
this. For example, this is the right next
step and very strong move for luxury restaurant
brand like Steakhouse. Below is a clear
professional framework for a segmented
newsletter series, followed by a ready to use newsletter concept for
each customer segments. Once you approve it, I
can immediately write the full emails within
three to 500 words each as going through best practices
for the newsletters and the email structures
in addition to the various options
for the newsletters. Take a look at this. Steak house and newsletter series strategy. The goal is to educate,
nurture loyalty, and subtly increase
repeat visits, tone, friendly,
authoritative, and luxury. It's combining different goals. Different tones, frequencies and the call to action based on
every single newsletter. This is very powerful. This ensures engagement
with your customers, ensures personalization
of the messaging and the marketing messaging
and the communication, at the same time, addressing various stages of your
customer journey. Are they learning
about your business? Are they trying to learn
about new products, or are they ready to
buy from your business? Customer segments
for Steak House. Excellent. These are for
the first time guests. You can take a look at the
setup for the newsletter, then regular diners
and loyalty guests. This is the
objective, the setup, the key content angles
and the call to action, the health conscious and
lifestyle focused guests, business and corporate diners, premium celebration guests
inactive or lapse guests. So for every single
segment of your business, of the customers
of your business, you're able to craft
a personalized, tailored message
and used letter in addition to the actual time
frame to release them. So if you take an
example, let's say, the fifth option premium
and celebration guests, the objective is elevate emotional connection and
occasion driven visits, the theme of the newsletter, the key content angles, and the call to action. Let's say, I'm going to mention, let's create the
newsletter Number five. There we go. So now you have access to a series
of prebuilt setups, foreign newsletters that
you're able to use, you're able to utilize, you're able to share and
communicate to your audience with a couple clicks
compared to days of work. Take a look at this newsletter. You can send it
through an email. It's up to you or just simply it's a message
that you pass to your customers or something that you'd like to display
within your business, whatever mechanism you'd prefer, even on your website,
it's up to you. Here's the subject because
some moments deserve more than ordinary meal,
this is the newsletter, the content of the newsletter in line with the preferred tone, the steakhouse,
celebration experience, what we focus on, celebration
celebrating with intention. Mark the moment properly. Because some moments deserve
more than an ordinary meal. Warm regards the
steakhouse theme. See how powerful this is. This is very, very powerful. It created a newsletter, including some images
based on a certain theme, which we have identified, which is option
number five, right? I can create another newsletter based on option number four, business and corporate diners, then health conscious
lifestyle focused guests. So you get the idea.
Now I'm able to create newsletters as part
of my communication with my audience with my customers based on a blog
post that you have created, based on a certain
idea that you have, what would take you normally
months of hard work in terms of addressing
different requirements for different customers, for different audiences, you're able to create a core
piece of content and simply communicate it in a personalized fashion to
your own unique customers, to your own visitors, to your own audience in the
most effective way possible.
