1. Introduction - What is Prompt Engineering?: There are no stupid questions, there are only stupid answers. Most of us know this statement, but it's not true, especially when it
comes to moving with artificial intelligence
like THE beauty, the quality of your
input determines the quality of the output
that you're going to get. So it's very important
to learn how to design and craft messages. So techy PT provides us the perfect answer
that we desire. This process is called
prompt engineering, and this is exactly what
this class is about. By the end of this class,
you will know more about THE beauty than most
people out there. And I will be sharing my
most favorite prompts. And it would also be
showing you how to apply them in your
everyday contexts. In addition to that, you

2. How to create an account & ChatGPT overview: To create an account
for check GPT, you need to go to chat opening i.com. That's
very important. This is the official website. If you find some other
links on Google, they will direct
you somewhere else. So please go to that website and then you can click on sign up. Then you will have to create an account with email
address and password. And I think at some
point you will also have to submit your phone number. This should be your
correct phone number because they will be sending
you an activation code. I already have an account. So this is why I click on Login. And then I just need to sign up with my e-mail
address and password. Once you've logged
in, this is what the main site, it looks like. You have on this corner all the chats that you
have with Chet GPT. Here you find some
examples that you can use. So these are some example
prompts that you can type in down here to see
what results you get. See what church, but

3. Asking Prompt: So one of the most
basic chassis beauty prompts is the simple
asking prompt. And this basically just means
that you ask any question. So one question that
I would like to ask is because my guitar
students have recently found a rock band and
we're looking for a name and asking the question, what is a good name
for a rock band? And we can see the chat

have a clear answer. We have a list with
five English names, analyst with five German names that include the English
translation as well. Alright, so let's just go over a few things for writing
a good asking for. So first of all,
you need to include all the relevant information. Then the question needs
to be very concise. So we actually need to program THE beauty towards the answer
that we want to get. Another thing is that you might enter some sort
of a discussion. So let's say the first answer
is not satisfying to you. Then just try to rephrase
the question and have a little dialogue until you get the answer that
you actually want. The next thing is you should ask some kind of open questions. So if you ask a question that
is answered with yes or no, That's not really beneficial. And one last thing that you
can do if you don't know how to phrase your question, you can actually ask Chad CBT, how to ask good questions to get the answer
to a certain topic. So this is something
that you can try it. Alright? So this is the basic
asking prompt. Again, you can ask any
question that you like. Make sure to keep
this rules in mind to get good answers
from THE beauty
4. Ignoring Prompt & Opening a new Chat: If you want to ask
church and beauty about a completely
different subject, and my recommendation is
to click on new chat. And then a new
chat window opens. And you can talk about
a different subject. Why is this important if you
remain within the same chat? So let's go back here, then check GBT will integrate the previous chat
into its answers. So every time you're
changing the subject, you should do it on a
separate chat because then the child will not be influenced by a
previous conversation. Another thing you can do is
to use the ignoring prompt. And this basically
sounds like that. You can write ignore all of the previous instructions
before this one. And then you can continue
with your new chat. And chat GPT will ignore
the rest of the chat. So these are the two
options that you have. Again, if you are starting to talk about a completely
different subject, it's quite important to not integrate the rest
of the chat into it.
5. Role Prompt: In this video, I'm
going to explain how to use the road prompt. The prompt is actually one of the most powerful
prompts that exist. And I'm using it in almost
every question that I'm asking Chechen be
t. So first of all, inspired by this
example up here, I want to start with a, let's say a bad question. What is quantum physics? Because I don't know anything
about quantum physics. So let's see what answer we get. Alright, so let's take a
look at this explanation. Quantum physics, also known
as quantum mechanics, is a branch of physics that
describes the behavior of matter and energy at the smallest scales,
and so on and so on. So if I'm reading through this, I actually have to
say that this is pretty difficult to understand, especially for people who
are new to this subject. So what I'm doing now is applying a rule from
the following way. I'm writing. You are a physics teacher
with over 20 years of experience in teaching young
children about physics. So now I'm assigning this
role to check cheap tea. So check GPT actually becomes
a physics teacher who is able to explain physics
to young children. And that's very
important if you want to get a simpler explanation. Now I'm writing a
second role prompt. Explain quantum physics to me. As if I was a
six-year-old child. Now I'm assigning a
second roll in this case. I'm assigning the
road to myself. If I don't know anything
about the subject, this is a great road
prompt that you can use. Now let's see what answer
we get. Now look at that. Imagine you have a bunch of
very tiny building blocks. These building blocks are so small that you can't see them. And when you read
through this answer, it's actually much more easy to understand what
quantum physics is about. So this is the powerful way
of using a road prompt. Again, if you are
new to a subject, if you want to learn about, if you want to learn something about a subject
and you don't know anything about it
yet, use this prompt. So you can, you can use a prompt to say check GBT
that he becomes a teacher. And you can also use the
prompt about yourself. You become the
six-year-old child. So check should be t needs to explain the subject

6. Writing Style Prompt: In this video, I
would like to show you the writing style prompt. So I'm again in my chat
about quantum physics. So this was the chat that we started to show you
their own front. And now I want to show you
the right-hand side prompt. So I can basically type in, give me the same explanation of quantum physics in a
Shakespeare style. This is a style I want. Now let's see what we get. Now look at that. We actually get some kind
of a poet with rhymes. And it's not just
at home, it's even the language that sounds
like Shakespeare. And instead of typing
in Shakespeare, you could also use emotions, for example, such as CBT is
artificial intelligence. It doesn't have any emotions. But if you want some
kind of explanation or some kind of legs attribute to be written in a certain style. This can be an emotional
scientists can be oriented to a poet. Or you can also ask check GBT
to write in your own style. In that case, you
would have to upload a text that you've
written and then asked Judge GPT to write a text about a different topic
in the above style. Great tool I think. And if you look at that,
That's totally insane. I mean, who would
think of explaining quantum physics as
opposed as a poet. So that's absolutely
awesome, I think. Alright, experiment with that. And as you in the next video,
7. Pros & Cons Prompt: In this video, I would
like to show you the pros and cons prompt. And it's pretty straightforward. So you basically type in what
are the pros and cons off, and then you type in whatever
you're interested in. So one thing that
I'm interested in is because I'm expecting
my first child is raising bilingual children
as a non native speaker. And let's see what we get.
Here. We get a list with pros. And here we get at
least with cons. Then some kind of a summary. I could actually take this
conversation further. Let's say I'm planning to raise my children
to be bilingual. I can take a look at the
cons and then asked GBT what to do about them or how
to how to cope with them. So I'm not doing this now
because this lesson is just about the pros
and cons prompt. You can apply this one when you are buying a
product, for example, what you can do is you
could actually copy and paste the link of the
products website. And then ask, what are
the cons of this product? Because on the website
they will only be stating the pros, obviously. So this is one way
to apply this. And it would probably
save you lots of research that you would
otherwise have to do. Alright? Play with these prompts, ask any question that
you're interested in, and I'll see you

8. Class Project: Finally, it's time to
introduce the class project. And the project would
be to share your most favorite prompt and
the conversation that you had with CBT. And you have a few
options to do this. So one thing that
you could do is you could just make a screenshot. So my favorites GPT prompt was probably the Shakespeare
quantum physics poem. And this is the poem that I got. So I could make a screenshot of this video and then upload it
to projects and resources. In other ways, you
could copy and paste the conversation added
into a text document, export it as a PDF
and then upload it. Or another feature,
which is pretty new, is you can share the link to this chat and
you can copy that one. And now let me show you
what this looks like. You open a new tab,
add in the link. This is what you get. Then we have the whole
conversation here in distinct. So you can again
take this link and put it into a text document and upload it to the projects. Or you can also
share the link in the discussions in
