3. Capcut online: Downloading and Creating an account: So in this class, we're going
to learn how to download and install cp cord for
your video editing. Okay? So to start with,
you can start by coming to your Google account over here by typing your Google
at your search bar. So it brings you
over to this place. You can just go ahead
and search for cup cod. Just search for Cp court, and it's going to
bring it over here. So this is an all in
one video editor and graphic design tool
that's driven by a lot of creativity powered by EI that enables video editing
and image design and so on. So you can click on the
first one to access the main home tab or the
main platform of Cp cot, or you can come to
the Cp Curt download to go ahead straight to
the download option. But for this
tutorial, we'll just click on the first one to start. And it's going to
bring us over here. This is the main home page
of cap ct. Free all in one video editor for everyone to create
anything anywhere. Okay? So you can
start up for free. You can sign up for free. You can just sign up and
start using it online, so you can go ahead and
see edit videos online, or you can download
for MAC or for Windows or for Android
operating system. You can have it even
on the mobile version. But for this tutorial,
I'm going to focus on how to use it online. But if you want, you
can download it. At the end of it all, I will show you how to
download and have the desktop version installed on our system so we can demonstrate
how to use it as well. Most of the features
are the same. But the online version usually comes in
with more features. It's loaded with a
lot of features and it's far better than
the desktop version. But we'll try both in this case, but to start with, we go
with the online version. So you can just go
ahead and click on edit video online and It's just going to
bring you over to this very platform where
you need to log in. Okay, so you have the option to log in with the Google account. If you have a TTAC account,
you can use it to log in. If you have a Facebook account, you can go ahead and you can continue with a CP
court mobile account, or you can just go
ahead and put in your e mail and then
go ahead and sign up. So the sign up is quite easy. I'm going to sign up with
one of my Gmail account, and so I'll meet you at
the other side to take you through the overview
of the platform. So the next time, thanks
for watching and I look forward to seeing you
in the next class.
4. Capcut online: Platform Overview: All right. So in the last class, we learned about how to download and install the cap
court software. And in this class, we're
going to learn about the general overview
of the platform. So as I said, we're going
to use Cap court online. So once you log in using any of the means that we've
defined in the last class, you'll be welcome to
this very platform. And this is the main page of tap cot after
you've logged in. You'll be able to
create new content from here maybe from videos. You can start from
a blank Canvas, and you could be able to
specify the aspect ratio, either 16 by nine or nine
by 16 or one by one, depending and you can vary
it as you move on as well. So basically, if you've
used clip champ, we've gone through
one of my tutorials that are made on clip Champ, it becomes very easy
for you to navigate around and make use
of this as well, because they have
nearly similar feature. So you have the image options. You can create new image, customized size for Instagram
for Instagram stories, for Facebook posts, and so on, and you can use
their magic tools to convert script to video, auto cut, A script, and then image Ocala. We're going to show how to
use some of these in detail. And then over here, again, you can create a video directly, or you can create a new image. Just like the way you
have access in cava. If you've used cava before, this is something similar. So you'll be able to
see how you can create posters and similar
things with this. Then you have the auto card and then scripture
video as well, the same way you can
access them using this. And over here, you'll be
able to have access to all the recent videos that you've worked on the
projects you've worked on, you'll be able to see
them over here and you can go ahead and edit and so on. And down here, you have
templates of different types. This is video templates. These are images templates, image templates
that you can easily customize your liking
to what you want, and you can go ahead
and make use of them. Then over here as well, you can have recent drafts. Whatever work you've started,
and you've not finished, you'll be able to see
the draft over here, shared history, when
you share some history, when someone share
an item with you invite you to edit a
particular video or an image, be able to see the
invitation over here. And over here as well. Again,
we have bunch of templates. This is another way
to access them, both in videos and images
you can access over here, and you can search the type of templates you are
looking out for. These are magic tools that
you may be able to use. Later, we'll show some
details about how to use some of them like
removing of image background, video of scalar image
of scalar and so Down here, you have your spaces. You can create different spaces. Later we'll see how to do that. And then over here, you can just go ahead and click on this to find out about what's
new every time with CP cut. You'll be able to see
the latest invention in Cp cod the latest
addition, this AI model, color gradient text to
image and image to text image to image and transcript
based editing and so on. These are new things
that you've invented. So every time you want to see the latest invention in Cp cot, you can just go ahead
and click on this. Now, over here, you
have the option to play around
with your profile, you can create your profile,
you can optimize it and put in your details on the language you want
to use and so on. And then down here, you
manage all notifications, whatever you have, you'll
be able to access for. Now, the most important thing is to go back to the start menu. And then for this tutorial, we're going to start
creating a new video. So we can just go ahead
and create a new video, and we're going to be landed in this very fresh cap court page. And I'm going to take you
through the overview of this as well before we go deep
into the other features. Now, the first thing you notice is that you have the blank Cvas. You can start from
a blank Canvas again and you can
define the ratio. Is it 16 bx 99b6 by
16 or one by one, You can define it right away from here before you even start. So let's say we're going
for a 16 by nine video. So the canvas is now defined. You can always come back
and change it over here. Okay, these are other features, and you can go ahead and
customize it accordingly. All right? So the first thing I usually
do is to create a project, so I can just come
over here and can just go ahead and type in
the name of my project, so we can call it trial
one, for example, and just heat out, and it's going to be saved on the cloud. Now, this is the main convas. Whatever you dump overhre, you'll be able to
see the preview. This is the preview convas. This is where you see everything that
you're working with. And down here, this is a
timeline where you drag and drop media overhem and
whatever editings you do, you do them overhm. Okay. All of the editings
are going to be the joining, the cutting, the
triing and so on. You do them over here. And
then this is the media Bin. The media bin could come
from two different aspects. You could have it on the Cloud, the media that you
save on the Cloud, and you can do it on
the project where you can upload things from
your system as well. And then you can have them from your mobile phone or
from your record. So you can record something. You can click and then you
can be able to have record. Just like the way you
have in Camtasia, you can record your
entire screen. You can record your tab, you can record with yourself and the webcam something like a
talking head tutorial video, and then you can record
audio only as well. So I'm going to show
you in detail how to use all of this as we
move on in this tutorial. Then you have
templates over here. So these are very bunch of
templates that you can use video footage that
you can add to your editings and to
make it much better. These are stock videos that you can use also available for you to drag and drop just like the
way we have in clip champ. These are photos as well. You can use free to use
photos. You can just go ahead. And then we have the
audios of different types. You can search for
them over here. This is audio, this music
of different types, and these are sound effects that you can use to
enhance your work. This is Wish, and this
is this wish and so on, different types,
and this is a click sound of fats and so on. And then you can just go
ahead and search if you have any specific sound effects
that you're looking for. These are texts. So we deal with texts in
different forms, how to add text and
how to add trend in text and customize
them accordingly. And then over here
we have captions. Just like the way we
have in Clip champ, also, we have
captions over here. You can generate auto
captions or manually generate captions or
use the auto lyrics. We'll see how to use some of
these in detail as we go on. We have transcript. You can be able to edit with
the transcript. This is transcript
based editing. Instead of you to edit
directly the video, you'll be able to edit the
text within the video, and it's just like
you're editing Microsoft Word and you're
editing the video directly. Then we have stickers. We're going to look at stickers and how to drag and drop them, and then we have some
effects that we can have to enhance the
look of our videos. We can drag and drop
different kind of effects. The thousands of
effects from here, and then we have transition. Again, transition is very, very useful and
important to connect to clips together or two different
clips or two same clips, but just to create professional
look and finishing. And then we have
filters over here. So there are lots of
filters that we can easily drag and drop to
enhance our work. Okay? So basically, the
most important part is the fact that you can drag
and drop any media, okay? I need to be saved either on the computer or on the cloud. Okay. So you can just go
ahead and drag and drop, and then we have a
bunch of other features that we will have access
to as we move on. This is the do red button, and this is the
sizing of the canvas. You can change or increase
or decrease the sizing. So you drag and drop media, we'll see how things are
going to change over here. And then once you're
done editing, you can switch between
the tabs over here. There are other taps that we're going to learn how to use, like the basics of
editing a footage. We can rotate change sizing
positions, and so on. And then we have
background effect, we can change the background of different videos and so on. And then we have smart tools, which we're going to
learn how to use do, we're going to learn some of the properties and how to
enhance it, and so on. Animation effect, we
have them over here, and speeding effect,
we can speed a track, a video track or an audio track. We're going to learn
all of this in detail. So this on fixed slide by, you have much controls over
what you're working on. And then with this pre dot, you can check out other options. And once you're done
editing, always, you can come over here and click on this to
export your video, which we're going to learn in detail about how to
use all of this. So in a nutshell, this is
just an overview of the platform, okay, of
CAP court platform, what is what and what is where. In the next class, we're
going to learn how to import our media
into this media bin, and then we're
going to learn how to arrange them and then bring them up into the timeline and study some of
their properties. So until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. Bye.
5. Capcut online: Importing Media Files: In the last class,
we talked about the general overview of
the CAP court platform. And in this class, we're
going to go in detail into how to import our media
into the media bin and see how we can study some of their properties and bring them up into the
timeline as well. So to import a media, there
are two or three ways. The first one is we can
go ahead and upload directly our project can just come to the
media over here, the media Bin, and then
you can upload directly from your mobile phone
you can record also. Basically, you can
say the third way of importing a media. So let's say we can
import from our system, we can click on upload, we can upload from the
system from Google Drive, from Dropbox and then extract an audio if
you want to do that. But then let's say we go straight from our
system and have some files that have arranged on my desktop under
DCAP cod tutorial. We can see them over
here. Audios. These are some very basic audios. These are video images, and then there are
videos as well. So you can easily drag
select all of them, and then go ahead
and say import, and it's going to import all
of them into the media bin. So you can see they've
all been imported. If you want to import more, you can go ahead and
say Upload as well. You can do that again, or you can just go ahead
to that same file. So these are videos.
So we can come to CAPCT tutorial and right now we want to
import these audios. So you can select all of them, drag and just drop them into the timeline into the media bin to select and they be imported. Okay? So you can see they've been imported as
well into our media. Same way for the image, you can add the images using
the same upload if you want. And you can upload directly. And let's say this time around, we're importing an image, so we can just go ahead
to cap core tutorial, and then we can come to
images and select all of them because we are going to use them as we move on
into the tutorial. So you can see they're
all being imported. So this is the power of cp cut in importation
in importing media. Alternatively, you
can import a media directly into the timeline also. Okay? You can import
directly into the timeline or into
the media cavas. You can click on this to
upload a media directly, and you can do that as well from the drive or from dropbox. Alright, so once you
upload the media, we can see them over
here, all being uploaded. So all you need is just to drag and drop them
into the timeline. So let's start with
the this very first. We can just drag and drop
it into the timeline. So once you drag and drop a
media into the time line, you can see a lot of
features come on. For example, you can see that
we have this much feature. From the left, you can mute the audio within this
particular track, and you can click to add
a cover of this, okay? And then over here
we see a bunch of a number of things
that came up as well. Once we have this
clip selected and other features as
well from here from the basic to background
to smart tools, and so on the all came up, and then we have this
option to be able to play. Or can be able to see across the video as you move
the playhead across. You'll be able to see a preview
of what the video is all about from here and have a bunch of other features
as well from here. So you can drag and drop as many media as you
want into the timeline. Okay. So you can drag this
one and just drop it. All right, so you can see we've
just dragged and dropped, we can drag and drop videos, and we can move them across and drop at any
new giving point. And we can drag and drop
another maybe let's say we drag and drop this image
into the timeline. Okay, so we can see automatically
created another track. So we can see we have now up to three tracks
within the video. So once we select any media, we'll be able to
have access to it. So for example, when we select this and we move
our playhead to it, we're able to see it and we can do a lot of moving around, so we can resize them
and do other features, which we can cover in the basic editins when we
come to the basic editings. So basically, these
are the two methods of importing a media. Within the project, you
can check them as well within Cloud within the
Cloud based system. You can check them as well and you can see them
within the Cloud. Whatever you uploaded, you'll be able to see a copy
also in the Cloud. It's to be saved in the cloud. So this brings us to the end of this class on importing
and arranging media into the media bin and then importing them into
the timeline, right? And then studying some
of its properties. In the next class, we're
going to look at how to record something with CP cord. We can go ahead and check
out the record feature, which is the third method
of importing a media. We're going to record
the entire screen. We're going to record
a tab, a specific tab. We're going to record with a web come as well as maybe a screen, and then record an audio
only in the next class. So until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. Bye.
6. Capcut online: Recording with Capcut: In the last class, we talked
about how to bring in media into the media bin
and dump them just like so. We've looked at the
true methods in which you can import a media. You can aplod them from the different platforms that
you've highlighted, and then we can drag and drop on your own into
the media bin and then you can drag them and drop into the timeline just
like we have explained. This class, we're
going to look at the third method of bringing in media into the media bin or
into cap code in general. So that's recording. So to record your
screen or your camera. All you need is just to be on the media bin and if you come over here, you can see record. Once you click on it, you
have the match options. You can record the
entire screen. If you want to do a tutorial,
like I'm doing now, you can record your
entire screen, and then you can record a specific tab within
your browser. You can define a specific tab or record it and you can
record with webcam. You can record the screen
and web come together. That's the option here. I
then you can record audio O. If you want to record audio, then the last option
is you'll go to. Now, let's try by recording
the entire screen. Once you click on this,
it's going to pop up that you're going to
enable the screen to record. If you have more
than one screen, you'll be able to see it. Yeah. So for this case, we're going to record
the entire screen, and this is the screen
we're talking about. So once you select
and click on share, it's going to capture that this screen is going
to be recorded. Now, you have to specify the microphone that you
want to use over here. You can just click
and you select from the range of
microphones that you have. Maybe you want to
do your voice over, but then with the
screen capture. You can define all that
from here as well. So once you click on
this record button, it's going to start recording your screen and the mic
that you have specified, maybe during the recording. Okay. So this is one way. We could close this, and then we could go back
to the same record, and then you can
record a specific tab. In this case, you
can see it showed us the entire taps that we
have within our browser. These are all the tabs that we have opened within our browser, so you can just select
any For example, if I wanted to
record this DQ tab, so I can just select, and then I say also shared tab odio. So whatever is in this audio, you can enable to share
the audio from here. Okay, so once you go
on and say share, it's going to get ready to start recording that particular
tab that you've specified. So all you need
is just to define the microphone that you're going to use in
that case as well. So the same way here. Right, so the third method is you
can record with C webcam. You can record with webcam, all you need is just to
define the webcam Hello. Come to my house,
so you can just come down here,
select the webcam. These are available webcams that have connected
to my system. You can just select I'm using the c922 pro stream web come, and you can just select it. And you can define the microphone that you're
going to use for this. I'm going to use the
road NT USB microphone. And once you click
on the record, it's going to record only
the webcom of this system, and then he's going to
record that for me. So that's the third method. And the fourth one
is if you want to record your do you
want to record audio, you can see it's just
giving you the option. So you can just go ahead and define what do what
microphone you want to use. I'm going to use the road t USP. You can just select this. And once you click on record, it's going to start
recording your microphone, what you're going
to say directly. But for this case, for this
tutorial, for this class, I'm going to show
you how to record the screen entirely
and then the camera. So it's going to
be like a talking head tutorial that
I'm doing right now. So to do that, we can kind of stop the recording
of the audio for, and then you can come all
the way back to recording. But then we do record
entire screen. So once you click on the
record entire screen, we can select the screen, well, which means we're
going to do all this, and then we can say share. And over here, you're
going to do one thing. You're going to
enable the web come. So down here, you can see
the web come has been disabled because we want to do picture in picture or
talking head video, so you can just enable
the web come over here. We define where the web come, so you can see me down here. So I'm going to record my screen and this web come down here. The web come is going
to be below this just like something like this
talking head tutorial, right? So you define the microphone, the camera that
you're going to use from here as well, the same way, and then you can define the microphone that
you're going to use for the recording as well
of the audio intake intake. So I'm going to use a TUSB. So once you're done, you can just go ahead
and click on record, and it's going to
record two things. So look at it countdown Timer. Hello, and welcome
to my channel. This is just a demonstration
of how to use CP cards to record your screen and the camera or web came
that you're using. It's just a test, so
we can come down here. You have the option to stop
the camera to turn off the camera or to turn off the microphone or
to redo everything, turn off microphone and
camera, or to start all over. And then over here, you can
pause and stop if you want. So let's stop it at this point. So once we stop,
we'll be able to have a preview of what
we have recorded. This is. All right. So this is what
I'm talking about. We have a talking head tutorial. This is me by the side, and then we have the same
screen entire screen being recorded. You
have this much option. You could discard and you
can start over and you can save an edit, which is
what we're going to do. We're going to save an edit. So we're going to save this and it's going to import
it directly into the media bin and then into the timeline so that we can just go ahead
and start editing. It's the same way. When you record with the audio, it's
going to be the same thing. If you record camera only, it's going to do the same thing. It's going to dump a copy of the media, just like
you've seen here. This is what we've recorded, and you can see it over here
as well into the timeline. It's been imported
into the timeline. Now, you have much control
down here. You can move. You'll be able to
understand that this is the screen recording, and then this is the audio
section of the recording, and this is the camera option. Once you click, you can see
you've selected it and you're free to move in or increase
or decrease the sizing. So you can see
very, very easily. You can just go ahead and size in or change
the position of the talking head if you want to any location of your choice, and then you can go ahead and
start your basic editing. But then you have
to know, these are the three components of the
media that you've imported, the webcom the screen
recording, and the audio. Okay? So basically, this is
how to record your screen, screen and camera, camera on, and then maybe a voice over, which is recording
audio, all right? So this brings us to
the end of this class. In the next class, we are
going to look at how to do some very basic editings
within the CAP cod project. Within this particular project, how can we do some
cutting streams, some basic editings there
about within the CAP cod. Okay? So until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to meeting
you in the next class. By
7. Capcut online: Basic Editing of Clips: In the last class, we
talked about how to import and manage media
in the media beam. Rather than in this class,
we're going to look at how to do some
very basic editing. Okay. So if you
learn how to import media and even drag and drop
them into the timeline, now we learn the most basic
things about editing. Now you can use the
playhead to navigate across any of the clip
within the timeline. As you move the playhead across, you'll be able to
see the preview within the preview cavas. One of the first
things you need to do when you're talking
about editing within Cp cord is you can select a clip and you have this
much features coming up. The first one is a split icon, which means you can split a particular clip that you have selected with the command B. It's going to create a split. So you can see this clip has
been subdivided into two. This is clip one, and
this is clip two. It's just been subdivided
with just the split button. You can do that
with the command. With the keyboard short code, or you can just move to anywhere
that you want to split, and you can select and
just come over here and click and you have it
splitted into two. So that's the first
one, splitting, and you can split across
multiple clips as well. You can split across
more than one clip. Once you have the
entire clip selected, you can just go ahead and press on the split and it's going to split across those number
of clips that you have. So you can select on any one, for example, this one, and you could have the option to delete a particular selection, part of the clip
that you've cut. So assuming we want to delete this one. We can just select. Manually from your keyboard, you can press and delete, or you can select it, select let me do, You can select it and come
over here and click on delete, and it's going to do
the same function, the same delete function.
So let me do this. So any clip that
you've selected, you'll be able to rewind it. We reverse it, you
can reverse the play. Instead of it to
be going forward, you can come backwards, and then you can crop
a particular clip. So you have this match control. You can play to have a preview of what you're going to crop, just to have a preview of it, and then you can pass it, and then you can
change the sizing. From the left, you can recyc it from the right as
well, and from the top bottom as well, you can resize
everything to your choice, and then you can play
to have a preview of the selected region
that you have cropped. And if you want, you
can come down here and rotate it to any angle
of your choice, right? So you can see you can rotate to any angle of your choice, be it at the positive or
at the negative axis. And you can change the clip
ratio also from here from the original aspect ratio to
any custom one 16 by nine. You can change it
from here directly. And if you're not seating
with what you have, if you don't want what you see, you can always come back
here and just click or reset and it's going to reset everything
back to the default. And if you like it,
you can just say done, and it's going to take in
that crop that you have. So that's cropping. You have the option to mirror
a particular section. So for example, let's
say with this clip. Moving forward. These
people are moving forward within the
clip. You can decide to Play on with you can
decide to mirror it, so it changes direction
directly, just like so. And then the next one is we have the transcript based editing, which is the editing you
do directly within words. I'm going to show you how to
do that in the next class. But for now, we just
understand how to do the very basic things
as regards the editing. Over here, you have
this control to play, so you can play and stop
it or pass it if you want. And then you can trim
also from the edges. You can trim from the axis, you can select a
particular clip. You can come over here
until your cossor turns into this cross sign, you can drag and you
can trim from the edge. One good thing is it trims
and it covers the edges okay. So the same way you can do
from the right as well. You can trim from this edge as well towards the other edge. Okay. And if you like, you
can do multiple things. You can move your clips across. You can just drag and
drop them somewhere. Easily, you can just move them, arrange them and even
change the position. You can change the track layers. You can move the
videos within tracks. Now, another thing that
is very important to note is when you are
on a particular clip, you can be able to
have access to some of the very basic features like the basic video
editing over here. I'll show you how to
do color adjustments, blending and so on. But for now, you can
deal with the transform. Transform, meaning, you
can increase the sizing. You can scale it up if you are interested or you
can scale it down. Ter I will show you how to add keyframes to when you
are scaling up or down. You can clear out
with the scaling, and you can clear out with
the position as well. You can just move it to the left or to the right,
however you want it, you can even put in numbers to just signify a particular
position that you want, and you can see it's going
to move from your own. And you can manually increase or decrease that you
can on your own, come over here and decide to resize it manually
and move it to any To any point of your choice. It's very, very logical
and nice to do that. So you have this much control. You have the option to
change all of this, and you have the smart tools. Letter we'll take a look
at the smart tools. And in terms of what
you can do with it, you can remove
background and you can retouch certain videos within
it is very, very easy. So I'll show you how to remove background and do some
certain basic things. Like the speeding up, also, if a particular clip, you can increase or decrease it. This is the noble speed. You can increase
it one by one X. It means the noble speed. If you increase it,
to two x about 1.9, it's going to
increase the speed, and you can see the length of
the video has reduced also. So that's because it's faster. You can increase you can
reduce the speed also so that it becomes in form of a slow motion. You
can reduce this. But coming to possibly 0.80 0.6, it's going to be a little
bit in a slow motion. If you try to play and the
video now becomes longer. So you can change the pitch. Also, you can enable
the pitch or reduce it, and you can see the direction in each case when you
increase or decrease, and you can play around
with the curves in terms of how you want the
speed to be increased. It doesn't have to be
a linear increase. It can be montage increase or hero increase or jump in
increase or bullet increases. So it's all up to you. You can play around
with all of this and experience what they do. Okay. So in terms of editing, these are some of
the basic things you can play around with. And then lastly, you
have to you can turn on the attach button
to play around with the attach to manage the
attachment in the eclipse. And then you have this preview turn on the preview axis,
which is quite useful. Sometimes when you click on it, it's anywhere you see the
pink color, this one, it's just going to give
you a preview of what is in that particular location. So it's called the
preview axis. Okay. You can enable or disable
it from here directly. And then one of the
most important thing is this zoom in feature. You can zoom in, to be able to see what's
in the timeline. You can zoom in clearly, so if you want to
make a precise cut, you can do that using
this feature as well. Or you can zoom out
so you'll be able to see everything
within the timeline. You can as well move
it up so you can have everything to be
clearly visible so they can carry out your editing. And then up here,
you have the option to click to have a
full screen view. If you want to have
a full screen, you can do that with this one. And if you want to
hide the timeline, you can hide the
timeline directly by hitting on this and you
can see the timeline has been hitting and you can
just go ahead and do some of your basic previews and basic importing and managing
of the clips as you saw. Here, over here, you can
mute and unmute any kind of track or freeze any
kind of tracks, so it doesn't become visible. Another key thing that
you should know is if you click on any clip, you'll have the same option, you can copy, you can
paste, you can delete, and you can do transcript based editing also on that particular clip that you've selected. So this is about basic
editing within Cap cut. And the next class,
we're going to look at the transcript based editing, where you are going to edit the video by editing the text. Just by qu cutting or
removing some text, you are equally
removing or cutting or creating a split within
a particular video. So the next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. Bye.
8. Capcut online: Transcript-based Editing: In the last class, we talked about basic editing with CP cod. In this class,
we're going to look at transcript based editing. This is a new
feature that's been introduced by CP coords. Which means to edit your video, you can do it just like the way you edit your Microsoft
word document. Instead of doing all the tin joining and going
after precisions, you can go directly and edit your words and it's going
to edit the video directly. So let me show you an example
of what I'm trying to say. Let's try to drag this video, this one into the timeline. We just drag and here, and then we can try
to move it here. Okay. So, let's say we are going to transcribe this video. That's the first thing.
So you can select the video and just
right click and say, do transcript based editing. So once you see
transcript based editing, it's going to pop up
that you have to select the language that is going
to transcribe your video. So this one I'm selecting English because the
default is English, afree to select any
other language. If you are interested, but for now, it's going to
be English United States. So let's go ahead
and say transcribe. And you can see it's
going to transcribe it. So everything has been
transcribed over here. When you go through it
detects is perfect. I think the AI is
doing a fantastic job. So let's try to play
it so that we can be able to see the
timing and the timeline. Okay? So let's just here. Calculate. We to test X's attendance. And
this is perfect. So here's the quickest
way to calculate grades. You'll be able to
see the location where the mouse is
or the preview is, so you can see it colored pink. Okay. So assuming I don't want this beginning
of the video. I can just select the entire
theme and just right click, or I can just go
ahead and say delete. And now that particular
section has been deleted, and you can see it
close the gap as well. It's deleted and close the gap. So let's hear the beginning.
So it's just going to start. Now when you open your Excel, that's when it's going to start. Sounds attended. And that's perfect. That's what
I'm trying to say. Now, if you want to
remove this one, also, now when you open Excel, you have a test exams and this. You want to grade them
according to this. So let's say we want to remove this section as well
within the video. So we can just select
and you can just go ahead and click on delete
and it's going to delete. You can see delete that
and it covers the gap. So when you select, you're not going to see that
there's a division. So the entire clip has
been divided into two. Now when you play it, you'll
be able to hear the section. You just come to the grading
cell. Yeah, that's it. So you want to create
them according to this. So you can see from total, you just come to
the grading cell, so it's been deleted
that section is deleted. So you can just go ahead
and select any part. You can just delete any section. You can just click, and you
can just go ahead and delete. And you can see it deleted
that particular section. So you can highlight to show
the high deleted areas. If you don't want to see them, you can see the pin hiding. And if you want to see them, you can click to show
the deleted section. So you can review them and
see if you made a mistake, you can do them as well. So you can just select and sell restore and everything
is going to be restored. So when you select
the entire text, you can see restore and that section is going
to be restored, and that's one of the
powers of CP cut. You can see we just simple click it has restored
the section. Now, again, if you go to any of the section that you
were trying to delete, you can play a
preview over here. This is greater than
or equal to 70 print. Now, once you come over here, you free to delete
everything also from here. In that particular timing,
you can delete from here. Another thing is you can be
able to identify filer words. So once you click on this, It's going to automatically
highlight where you have filler words and you can remove them
directly from here. Right now in this because
it's perfect. I've edited it. There's no any filler,
zero filler words found. If you want, you can remove the filler words
directly from PM, right? So you can find something. If you're looking for something, you can easily find it
directly from P. So that's the power of
transcript based editing. It's very easy and it
makes works easier, so you can just be
following through the text and be editing
them accordingly. Okay. So I think this
brings us to the end of transcript based editing
within CP cards. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we're
going to look at how to add and format text
within Cap cot. Okay? So, until next time, thanks for watching
and I look forward to seeing you in the
next class. Bye.
9. Capcut online: Adding Text: Right. In the last class, we talked about how to do
transcript based editing, how to edit our videos within Cap court using the transcript, the transcribed video, from the text directly
to edit video. And in this class, we're going
to look at how to add text into the video to make it look and appear very
much professional. Now, when you want
to add a text, you can come to text over here. You can click and you can
see a range of text over here from the basic ones to
the trending ones over here. All right? So you can see we have text templates.
These are templates. You can add basic ones, for example, you can just
use the normal header text. You can just drag
and drop it here. And you can click to change the position and
you can just move, select it, come over to
text basic over here. So you can be able to change
the styling, the textile. So add heading, so let's
say we select this and say, welcome to my channel,
something like that. And the sizing is too big, so let's say we make it to 12. You can see 12 is good. And then if you
want, you can add the basic editing
features like you can bold it allies on the line, and you can add different
kind of alignments. You can align left
right and center, and you can even change
your case of the text. And over here, you can play around with the line
spacing as well. Down here, you have much
options to check on other style features
like the feel features. You can change the color. Right now, it's
white. You can make it to something like green. If you're interested in green
or something like this, think this is good,
so you can select. But this is better. Let's say something like this. Let's remove the underline, let's remove the italics. And then you can add stroke
if you're interested, and then the color of
the stroke as well. You can put it with the stroke, and you can vary the
sizing of the stroke. You can reduce or increase
the sizing accordingly. But I think something
like this is much better. Let's have something
like So black. Yeah, I think it's kind of cool. So you can add background also if you want
to add background, you can click, and
then you can add some background to the
entire coloration. So depending, you can choose
any color as far as it is going to pop out and make
the writing looks better. So you can see right
now it's much better. And then you can add
different kind of shadow if you want
to add shadow. You can select and add shadow, maybe using this color as the shadow, or you
can use this one, and you can vary the
intensity as well from here, the blurring nature, you
can increase the distance, you can increase or decrease. I think this is good, the angle, also you can vary the
angle of the shadow. Very easy. This
is the most basic and you can reset everything
from here, the whole style. You can reset everything
back to normal. So this is the basic one. You can add body text. You can just drag and drop, and then you can just copy
your text and paste it. You can vary the direction
or the location of the text. You can increase the number
of minutes or seconds. It's going to stay
on the timeline. So you can increase depending
on how much text you have. You can copy some text. Let's say we copy
some text from here. Let's say we copy
some text from here, and we can just come over here. You can just select
and paste it. All right, so you can see
we have our text pasted. This is the most basic thing. Another thing is
you can transform, play around with the location. You can select and
you can increase it manually directly like
this to increase the size, or you can play around with
the position on your own, you can increase or
decrease the position. You can see this is minus. This manually, make
it let's say 500, make it let's 500. You can play around
with the location from both x and y axis. You can adjust accordingly, both x and y axis. You can play around and
increase or decrease, and you can rotate
it to different angles from here as well. See you can rotate
it to any angle, and you can manually
input a number if you're interested in putting
any number very easily. So down here, we have opacity, can play around with
the opacity as well. So this transformation
scaling to 91%, you can select any of the text, and you can play around
with it directly. Now, another thing
is you can add from the trending presets. So for example, you can
see different ones. All you need is just to hover over and you'll be able to have a preview of what that
particular text is going to do, the appearance, how it's
going to come up, and so on. Just move across
it, over over it, and be able to see the effect it's going to have
just like this. You can see. Very, very
nice and fantastic. So you can choose from the
available ones that we have. Let's say I kind of like
this Friday, June 2022. You can just drag it and
put it on the timeline. And on your own, you
can extend the length, and extend the length of
how it's going to stay. Let's say we select this and delete it from a keyboard,
and then we have this. So all you need is make
sure you select this, and you can come to the
text basic over here, and then you can
change this to maybe Maybe you can change it
to something like Thank you. All right. Thank you. And let's say over here, we can change this
text for coming. All right. Thank you for coming. So let's say we can still play around
with the other features, like you can select on
any of them and you can play around with the
text text styling. The phone style, you can
change the phone style. You can change the
size and all of the text editing
features and so on. And down over here to
opacity, and so on. You can change all of this
if you're interested. And then you can change
the coloration as well, and you can change
the location as well. So let's say at this case, we want to take it to something
like maybe this point. After this, we can thank you for coming out. Thank
you for watching. Something like this should
come at the end. So let's see. Thank you for watching.
So let's see watching. Let's just this for watching. All right, so this
is the ending point. So after this, we can just have the simple presets coming out. After this, All the grills
are about to be there. Just let's go. Thank
you for watching. Let's say we extended a
little bit. All right. So let's start from here. Yeah. I think this is perfect. So you can just
vary the location and you can vary how
it's going to look like. You can change anything, of
course, however you want it. And then we can come down to the animation
features over here. You can add in animations
if you want to add animations on your
own manually to the text. You can easily add
imations to the text. So let's go back
to something like this because it's a
very simple text. Let's add something
like this one. Okay, so because this
is a very simple text, let's look at the animation, how and what can we add. So let's go back animation, and then we can come over here, the animation, what
do you want it to do? How do you want it to flow in? So let's say we want to add something like this.
We select this. Okay, so you can
see the coming in. And then the out animation, how do you want it to go out? So let's say we want to
add something like this. So over any of them, you'll be able to see the
action that it's going to take. So let's say we'll go
with something like this. Or let's say we maintain
the same thing, it bounces back again, so you can see the preview. And then the looping,
how do you want it to continue Q continuously? What do you want it to do so it can continue to loop this way? So you can see it
is looping Same three is greater than equal
to 60 points from up. So you can see how
perfect is it. Let's look at the outro, how it's going to
go out from here. So the inflow and the
outro is You can see the coming in and then it keeps on looping and then the out in. Let's take a look at
how it's going to go out. Yeah, that's perfect. So basically what this means
is you can select any text, and you can play around
with the animations. You can add the in outer
loop animations and so on, and you can play around
with the presets as well. There are other preset templates that you can select and add them as your own
text and customize however you want them. And you have other text
effects as well from here. Okay, see a number of text effects that you
can add very, very many, and they're very nice, depending if you just drag and drop, it just takes doesn't
take you anything. You drag and drop, and you can customize them to
however you want them. So you can just go ahead
and carry out the editing. So you can select
or select the texts and come over here to the
basics and do the same thing. You can change the text. You can just select and say, welcome, something like that. And you can go ahead and
customize it to whatever you want heart as we have explained in the general
text editing features. Okay, so I hope you
enjoy this video. In the next class, we
are going to look at how to add coloration
into our footage, and try to see how we
can enhance the color of a particular video using the different features that
we have within Cp cot. So until next time,
thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class.
10. Capcut online: Adding Colouration: All right. So in the last class, we talked about how to add text and format
them within Cp cut. And in this class,
we are going to look at how to add coloration and adjust color within your
video clip on Cp cut. Okay. So to add
video coloration or to edit the coloration
in your video, all you need is just to select the footage that
you want to use. In my own case, I want
to use this video. You can see the color is
a bit flat and you can make it to look a little bit much better
and professional. You can select the clip, and then you can come
to the top right over here, so you can see basic, you can click on basic, and you have the option to play around with the color
adjustment over here. So you can see color adjustment, basic HSL and curves, so
you can just click on it. And over here, you
have three things. Basic HS and curves. Over the basic, you
have the color, which is when you have the
basic color adjustment, and then we have
lightness and down here, we have effects that
you can change. So you can come over, let's
start with the basic color. You can see it's a bit flat, so you can change
the saturation. If you want to increase
the saturation, you can see when you move right, becomes more saturated
and you move left, it becomes less saturated, which means it's turning
into black and white. So you needed to just touch it a little bit so you can have
a little bit of a touch, and then the temperature, you can come down and
it becomes colder. Okay? This is colder. And then when you
move to us, right, it becomes warmer and
everything becomes warm. So let's say we just
a little bit of adjustment can give us the best thing we're
looking out for. So then we have. I don't
really touch over here, and then we have brightness. If you want it to
be a bit brighter, you can see it just
increase the brightness. Don't make it too
much like this. Let's make it a bit because depending on what you have seen, and sometimes you need to reduce the brightness
a little bit. When I case, we can just
increase it a little bit, so it becomes very clear. And the contrast as well, we just increase a little
bit of the contrast. And the other one, the
effects depending on you, if you want to add
some sharpness, you can add, just a little. And then you can
add some vignette. In some cases, you
may need to add Vignette depending on the kind
of video you're creating. So Vignette is just this look. So you can see, At this moment, I think I don't need a Vignette. But if you want, you can add a little so that it just
sops up a little bit. So then you have the fading
and the green color. These are just normal
fading if you want to add, but I think it doesn't
look good on the video, so you just leave
everything at default. So you can come back to HSL. If you have any particular
color that you want to pop in, so you can just
select it and you can go over here and
increase the saturation. For example, green color, if you want to increase
the saturation over the green coloration
within this, you can just increase it
and you'll be able to see the greens are coming
up very clearly. So if you have a choice for
any color, you can select at any given point,
be it from the basic or from the H.
If you want to reset, you can come at the
top here and reset. At the basic, you can
reset from the color. You can reset all the color, all the lightness that
you've increased, and all the effects
that you've increased, you can reset them from here. And then next we have the cuffs. From the cuffs, you can
change from the presets. We have a number of
presets that you can use. This is lighting, this
is dark and this is fade and if you want
to have the lighting. You can see it has already given you the default,
this is preset. If you don't want it,
you can always undo. You can go to custom.
You can come to custom, and then you can select on your own and select a
particular color, for example, the red color. You can select it, and then
you can create some dots. Usually, we create some dots if you want to
increase or decrease. So you can bring the
dots to somewhere here. And when you go up, you can see the color is coming too red, and
you can come down. It becomes too cold. Okay? This is warm and cold. So it becomes more
cooler down here. I think this is
okay. If you want to play around with the
green color as well, so you can select and
increase the green size, the green look of the video. And I think too much
of it also is bad, you can just reduce
a little bit. You're removing the green
color from the view. So you can just go ahead
and experiment your own. If you want to see
the before and after, you can just hover over this. You'll be able to
see the original, and then after this, the
change that you've created. And this color picker. If you
want to pick on any color, you can easily use this
and pick on any color to play around with the RGB curves, and you can reset
from here as well. So it's very easy to
kind of play around with the color adjustments and increase or decrease and
then try to see how you can enhance the overall
look of the video. Okay. But basic in
detail in a nutshell, this is how to add in color to your video and then maybe play around with some
of those properties. So just go ahead and give it a try and see what and what you can touch to see how you can improve or
enhance your video. And let's see how it's
going to look because something that you
must learn by doing. Okay? So I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching. In the next class, we're
going to look at how to add transitions into
our video clips. Maybe within the
same video clips or within different video clips. How do we transit
from this video, for example, into
this tourist video? Okay, for example,
the transition, how do we add them to look much more better
and professional. So until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. Bye.
11. Capcut online: Adding Transitions: All right. In the last class, we talked about how
to add coloration, basic coloration to your footage and do some very basic
editings in terms of color, how to add and manage coloration within the
video footage in cap cout. In this class,
we're going to look at how to add transitions. Now, transitions are
very powerful when it comes to addition or connecting two clips that are the
same or different just to showcase how the
transition is going to be. To add transitions, all
you need is just to come to the bottom
left over here. You can see transitions down
here. So you can just click. You'll be able to see a
number of transitions. There are different types. You have overlays, we have
camera type, and each one, you'll just be able to see
even without hovering over it, you'll be able to
see the effect it's going to have on your clip. You can see camera, there
are different types. You can see this one,
the rotating one. I like rotating one. All you need is just
to drag and drop it at the junction in between the two clips that you want
to put just like this one. You can preview a
particular transition. You can be able to see the
transition is very simple. And when you click
on any transition, you have the basic property of that particular transition. So you can click on this
and you have the option to increase the duration
of the transition. The default is 0.5 seconds, and you can increase
accordingly, and you'll be able to see
it increase from here. Manually, you can click
on the other side and try to reduce the duration or
extend it accordingly. And I think I'd rather
keep it at 0.5, the default one,
which is a default, and I think it's quite nice. So you can see they are
different transitions. You can add transition
of different types, different types. All right. So let's close on this and you can check
on different types, different kind of transitions. You have other ones
like the blow effect. You can see basic effects. I like the basic ones because they are so direct
and you are used to them. For example, this up one, you can drag and replace
the existing one, or you can put it in between
this movement between the beach people
to this tourist, so you'll be able to
just have a preview so let's play it to see
how it's going to be. You can see it quickly comes up and you can change
the direction as well. That's perfect. Sometimes I try this open veticle All right. And the same way
you can extend or reduce the length of the
transition in each case. You can see that's
fantastic and nice. So you can just choose, go ahead and give it a try and see which one of the transitions
you can use on your own, and you can just select and play around with the properties. All right, so you can
add many transitions. You can see them from overlay
to camera, different types. You can see them camera, and you have blow effect. And each one, again, like we said, we don't
even have to over overlay, to be able to see effect is going to have
like this slide one. I kind of like it, so
you can just drag and drop it here and you
can see the properties. I think 0.5 is okay, but you can still
see the preview, but let's try to play
it one more time. I think you can see
it just perfect. So that's how to add and you can select anywhere and just come to basic and play around
with the duration of that particular transition.
So there are lots of them. You can see light
effect and you can see glitch in cases if
you're interested in glitch. Sometimes you see them on
different kind of videos. You can see slides
of different types, and these are very basic as
well if you want to try them. Okay? So sometimes
this open one is good. You can just drag and drop it. Let's see the pre group
that's perfect and fantastic. Let's be it one more
time. You can see. So there are different
one, we have split, and then down here we have mask transition,
and so many more. You can see MG and
different types. You can see social media,
of different types. So if you want to see or have
access to them directly, you can come all the way to
the top the small arrow. You can click and you'll see all the classification
of the transition. And once you select
a particular one, for example, this slide, it's just going to show
you only the slide ones. That's the quickest way to
access all of them split. I will just show you
only the split ones. So you can just go
ahead and add them. This is basically it
about adding transition. You can add any transition
across any clip, the same clip or different clip. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we're
going to look at how to add music and format it and
even add sound effects, so that you can beautify your video to make it much
more better and professional. So I hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching,
and I look forward to seeing you in the
next class. By?
12. Capcut online: Adding Music and Sfx: Hello, and welcome back. In the last class, we
talked about how to add transition basic transitions
to your video in between clips of the same
type of different types. And in this class, we're
going to look at how to add music and sound effects to make our video look much more
better and professional. Now to import music
and sound effect is the same process
that we follow. You have to come
to the media bin, and you can just drag and
drop it or you can come to upload over here and you
upload any kind of media. Like we said, be it music, be it images or videos. Okay. So down here, we've
tried to added some music, which we can use as
our background music. So for example, this one, this dream escape is a
background music that we can just drag and drop
into the timeline. So it just created a
simple clip another track. So you can see it's
created another track. So when we try to play
it, you'll hear it. So this is the background music, and it's a bit loud, so you can select
it and you'll have the basic properties of this particular music
that we just imported. So you can click on the basic and you can play around
with the volume. You can increase or decrease
the volume level from here. You can bring it down, and then you play to have a preview. I think this is too quiet, so you can increase
it a little bit. I think this is good.
So if you want, you can add some fade
in and fade out. For example, at the entrance, you can add a fade in, so the music is going
to go 0-100 gradually. So fade ins are good,
you can see it. We just added, you
can see it from here. And then we can add
fade out in cases if you try to zoom out. So let's try to see
everything from the edge. So you can equally
trim the music, the background music
from the edge. A lso just like the way you do, on the normal
video, you can trim it to any point or
you can select, and then you can
bring the playhead to that particular location
where you want it to end, and you can split it and
delete the other section. So you can delete. And
unless you want to add a fade out at this moment, so you can just come over
here and just add a fade out. And once you release, you'll be able to see a fade
out coming up. Okay. You can see a simple fade out. Can manually increase it so
you can see it just fade out. So what this means is the music is going to die out 100-0. Yeah, that's perfect. So
it just dies out 100-0. So that's adding fade out. So the same way we edit videos is the same way we
can edit do as well. We can create cuts
at any given point and we can delete any section. We can trim from the
edges, both edges. If you're interested
in trimming, you can trim from
both edges and you can move them across the tracks. And then down here, you have other features,
other controls. But let's say noise reduction and beat detection,
you can add all this. But then this is
just by prior music. If you want to add
noise reduction, you have to add a clip that
has some noise like this one. Let's say we have this one,
we can drag and drop it here. Let's try to hear it. Come to channel. This is
just a demonstration. All right, so this
is a good one. So it's a audio recording that we've just recorded
within this clip Cam. So you can select it and you can play around
with the features. If you want to
increase the volume, you can increase the volume. And if you want to add
the fade out and fade in, which you don't need at
this moment because this is a normal audio recorded, and then you can add noise
reduction, which is very good. So it just skip the noise. Pacts record andmera
Yeah, that's perfect. So it just helps
you to eliminate the noise within this
particular recording. I think you can enable beat detection if you're interested. But this moment, I
don't touch this, so this is very basic. It's just to play
around the music. Again, another feature is the voice changer still
on the audio management. You can change your voice
to any style from here. You can see there are
different styles. You can use chip Monk. This is just a
demonstration of how to use record, This is chipmunk. This is Chip Monk. This
is just a demonstration. And this is just a
demonstration. All right. This is just basically how to change your
voice within here, if you want to remove everything
and go back to normal, which is what I'm going to do. Then you can speed up the
clip. You can speed it up. This is one x. You can
make it two x and you'll be able to see the length
of the audio is reducing. And when I try to play it now, it's just going to be faster. So the duration is
going to increase, reduce, and then you can
enable the pitch also. At any given point,
you can always place on this to go
back to the default. These are very basic
controls in terms of audio. You can import your own
audio or you can record your audio within the
Cp court like son, you can use even this
feature to record an audio. And then additionally, you have a stock audio that is
built within Cp court. I think some of them
are copyright free. You can easily add them. So once you navigate
around and you check out, the audios that they have. And if you select, if you have any that you like specifically, you can just select
can come over here to this proces and add
it into the timeline, and it's just going to be added
just like so to be added, downloaded and add it into your timeline from
where the playhead is. So you can check around
and see different ones. You can play to have a
preview. Think that's nice. So you can just go ahead
and check out and you can change the arrangement over
here. The different ones. You can just check
preview and here. And you can try to
add to favorites. If you want to add to favor right, you can just
click on this, and it's going to be
added to the list of your favorite music
that you can use. Okay. And then we
have sound effects. Sound effects are always good when you want to
create transitions or when you want
to create emphasis within a particular video clip. So like the Wh effect
is good when you're trying to create a transition
between two clips. So let's try the Wish
effect so you can select and put it
somewhere here. All right. So you
can hear the sound. Yeah. That's it. Very fast, and it just indicates that
there's a transition, so it keeps your attention open. So if you want,
you can move this, so you'll be able to see it
clearly and you can click on that particular sound
effect and you'll be able to check out the
properties also from here, you can play around
with the properties. All right. So that's music
and audio in general. You can import any, and you can manage the ones you
have from inside. You can record if you want and you can use
this stock footage of audio music and sound effects that we have within CAP Cut. So it's up to you to see which one you want to give a try. Okay, so I think this concludes the tutorial on how to insert or add audio to your clips and make some very basic editings
within CAP Cut. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class,
we're going to look at how to import and
add stock videos and photos within our
video editing to create some rules as we
are editing our footage. Okay. So until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. Bye.
13. Capcut online: Adding Stock Videos and Photos: Hello, and welcome back.
In the last class, we talked about how to add
music and sound effects. And in this class, we're
going to look at how to add stock videos and photos. Something like creates a
role within editing process. So to add stock videos,
there are two methods. The first one is you can use the inbuilt videos that
we have within CAP cot, which you can access from stock videos directly over here. There are lots of
them depending on the process all depending on what you're trying to create. You can search for it as well. So for example, if I say cards, I want to search for cuts, and you'll be able to see
something related to that. So these are cuts,
beautiful cuts. So all you need is just to drag and add them into the timeline. And they'll be added wherever the playhead is and what
you just navigate around, and you can just strug
and you'll have them added into the
timeline just like you just strag and
drop it and it'll be downloaded and added
into the foutage So you can reduce the sizing If you want it to be like
something like a picture picture you can reduce the sizing and
place it somewhere, and then you can play
And maybe if you like, you can equally adjust
the length of it. How long do you
want the video to stay before it goes
back to the normal one. So let's try to
play a preview and see how the video
is going to play, and then the cart is
going to come up, and then it's just going
to move to the other ones. You can see the cart coming
up, eating its food. Then after this, it's just going to go back to
our normal video. So this is very good when
you are demonstrating something within a picture or
within a particular video. You can search for anything, not just carts, you can
search for anything. This is video search. We can do photo search when we
go to the photos. So there are different
videos of different types. We have short videos and
we have long form videos. So you can come to
the small arrow and you can see
different categories. These are trending categories. We have money, subscribe, football, rain, and
Christmas, and so on. So you can check around and see, and you can search on
your own manually. If you want, let's say
something like Zebra. You want to see
something like Zebra. You'll be able to see videos
related to Zebra. Okay. All right, so that's
stock videos. And let's say we can check
our stock photos as well. So you can come to photos, and you can see different
kind of photos, different, different types of
photos depending on you, what you're trying to create, and what image you're trying
to create within you. So you can just
go ahead and drag any and put it as
your own image. So you can drag this
and drop it here. You'll be able to
see this plane, and you can select it as well, and you have the option to Large it or play around
with the sizing. Usually, in both the
video and audio, you will have the control, the basic controls that you may have from
the right over here, so you can select the
image and you still have the access to the
basic where you can play around with the
color adjustments, the opacity and
the transformation in terms of scaling position, and so on you can do that,
all of them from here. Okay. And if you want to, you can check out the smart
tools features as well. So you can be able to say remove background
or retouch this. I'll show you how to
use this as we move on. And then still selecting
the same photo, you can come over here
and add some animations, how it is going to come into the timeline and how
it's going to go out. I think previously, I've
demonstrated some of these applications within
the editing process. Is just a drug a
particular effect or an emission effect
and just drop it. So you can add this
particular effect to that. So this is how it's
going to come in. And then how is it
going to go out, so you can just define. So you can see, let it
go out in this form. We've selected
this. And then how do it go to combo
while on screen? How do you want it to behave? We can just select on any, and let's say it's going
to behave like this. So when you try to play a preview to have a preview
of what you've created, you'll be able to
be marveled by what you will see. All right. So you can see the
coming in and how it's going to stay on screen,
and then the going out. That's perfect.
So you can do the same also on the video as well. You can do the same
thing in terms of managing the
basic properties, like the blending, the opacity, the transformation, in terms
of scaling up and down. You can just go ahead
and move your clip. To somewhere, and then you can scale the video up if you want. So all of those controls, you can equally have the
same controls over here, the position, the
rotation, and so on. Then you have
additional feature. In addition to the smart tools, you can have animation, and you can have the speeding effect, which means you can extend
the speeding of the video, increase it or
decrease it by one x, two x, or three x, depending, you can play around
all this, and you can increase the pitch also
if you are interested. All right. So that's
about adding the in stock videos and photos. If you want to import your own, you can as well go
to the media bin and import them just like the way we've demonstrated at the
beginning of the tutorial. You can import videos, audios, and you can import photos
and videos as well. So like this one we've imported, this is an imported photo. You can just select it,
and you can be able to follow the same process
like we've explained, be able to have all
the demonstrations. So this is interesting. You can vary the position, how long you want it
to stay on screen. And if you want to
have more features, more action you can select and make it a
picture in picture. Can drug and position it. And once selected, you have the same properties by the side. Also, you can add animations, smart tools and the
basic editing tools, features that we've explained. So you can do the same
thing with the videos. You can drag and drop this
cat and you can drop it. And you can do more
by just selecting. You can select it and you have
equal controls from here, and you play around with the sizing also from
the edges just like so, so you'll be able to have it in form of picture and picture. Okay, so it all boils down to you what you're
trying to create, what you want to use it for, so you can import the photos and video footage or you can use the existing one within CAP Cut. Okay? I think this concludes
the tutorial on how to add bus or stock videos and
photos within Capcot. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class,
we're going to look at how to add captions
automatic and manual, how to add auto
captions within CP cut both automatically
and manual form. How do you import or to write it manually within
a particular video. So I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching,
and I look forward to seeing you in the
next class. Bye.
14. Capcut online: Adding Captions: In the last class, we
talked about how to add stock videos and photos
within cap cuts, both in built and outside or
imported videos and photos. And in this class, we are going to talk about how
to add captions. Captions could be
automatically generated or manually added within
the cap cot. All right? So to generate captions
within your video, all you need is just to
make sure you select the audio section or the track that you're trying
to generate the captions on. For example, let's
say we are trying to create this caption
on this tutorial. Come to my channel. This
is just a demonstration. We can use this one,
so we can select this, and we can come to
captions over here, and we can see auto caption and it's going to automatically translate this directly to the language that
we've selected. Right now, you can
see it has given us the option to select
which language. You can see multiple languages if you're interested
in any language, you can go ahead and such the language you want
to translate it to. But in this case, we're going to translate it to
English United States. So we can go ahead and say
generate the captions. It's going to generate
the captions automatic. All right, so you
can see it has just generated the captions
and it's for everything. So you can see when you
come to the top here, you'll be able to see
what I'm talking about. These are the captions
that it has generated for all the audios within
this particular track. So if you want to hear it, you can come to the
beginning and let's see how it is being written
on the video itself. To my channel. This is
just a demonstration of how to use that
parts to record. The camera. And you can see
how perfect it is written and everything
is correct as needed. So if you want to
customize any of it, you want to rearrange
the effects. For example, the coloration. You don't want the color
you see on the text. You can select it easily, and you can come all the way to the basic text over here and you can be
able to select it. You can go ahead and say, you
to change the phone style, you can change the phone
style, the sizing, you can change the
sizing as well, and you want to increase adding this much features in
terms of text editing. You can both italze and underlining and this
styling and so, You can change everything,
the field color. If you don't want
it to be white, you can make it to be
something like this, something like this
could be good. But then I think black is
better on this background, so you can see can select
and move it across. And you can add stroke
also if you want to add stroke to make it
look much better. So you can see we've
added some stroke, and now it's a bit visible. Okay, so I think this is good. All right. So you
can add background also to the caption.
If you're interested. You can add background
background to it. So let's add this
simple background, and everything now is going
to pop up a little bit. So you can see how clear it is. So you can do this
on your footage, and it's going to
look perfectly nice. And you can play around with these features if
you're interested, and then you can go
ahead and delete any section or add any section or customize
them accordingly. But this is the entire
transcription of caption data generated for this particular
footage that we have. Again, there are two methods, like I said, the automatic,
this is the auto caption. If you want to do
the manual one, you can just still come
back to the caption, you can come to manual
manually generated. So you can come all the way
here. This is the default. You can click on default. Now you can try to listen
to some part of it. Let's say we delete the auto
captions generated on this, so you can select and
delete all of them, select this one and delete, so you can generate your own. So by coming back here, we can select the auto
the manual generated, so you can start by writing. The default is 3 seconds. You can add the seconds
if you're interested, so you can play
around to my channel. This is. So let's say welcome to
my channel over here. You can just go
ahead. All right. So welcome to my channel, so you can see it
written over here, so you can go ahead and
come down here over over, and you can see you can
add another transcription. So come down to default. So now, it's going to
be from 0.03 to 0.06. You can say this is
just what is it saying? So you can just play here. O to use cards to record. Okay, so this is just
how to use CP cod. To record your screen so you can see, you just retain that. So you can go to the next one. You can come over over this and you can just
add another one, and it's going to go from now
0.06 to 0.09, you can see. It's just 3 seconds added. So you can play to
hear the preview. Camera of the camera. Okay. This is basically it,
so you can again play around with the features like
the text editing features. You can still select
and come back over here and edit all of
them to your test. And then let's try to play it and see how it is going to play. This is the manual one. This is just a demonstration graphs
to record the camera. Perfect. So you can just
make some adjustments to it and see how it's going to
look perfect and fantastic. Okay, so this is
minuly generated. We've tested the
manly generated, as well as the
automatically generated. The next one is the auto lyric, which has to do with when
you are dealing with lyrics, which we are not going
to cover in this. So basically, this is it. This is how to generate
auto captions and manual captions within CAP cots. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we're
going to look at how to add stickers and effects
into our video. There are different kind
of stickers that we can add to make the video look very, very nice and professional. So how do we add them
and how do we adjust their properties to make the video look much
more professional. That's what we're going to
cover in the next class. So thanks for watching
until next time. I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. By?
15. Capcut online: Adding Stickers, Effects and Filters: In the last class, we talked
about how to add captions. Auto generated captions and
manually generated captions. The one that you can
write on your own to follow through the
clip and then add them. And in this class, we're
going to look at how to add stickers effects and filters, to enhance the looks
of your video. Now to add stickers, all you
need is to come down here. You can see stickers down here. You can just click and you
can see the range of them. Very, very many stickers. You can see depending
on the kind of content you're creating. You can have them
of different types. You have this countdown
timer, you have the circle, if you want to highlight
something and you want this, maybe you want to showcase
some effects or some emotions. You can use this fire sign
to signify intensity, or you can use the
arrow sign sometimes. So that so many of
them depending. And if you want to directly
showcase something or showcase something that's
dangerous or thetic depending, on what you're trying to create. All you need to apply
a particular effect is just to drag that
effect and you can drag it onto the time line just like you can release it and it's going to
have that effect. So you're free to on your
own, manually resize it. You can resize it, for
example, in this case, you can resize and you can point it to any points that you want to highlight and you
have this much control. For example, when you play, you'll be able to see the effect it's going to have
on your video, maybe highlighting or showcasing
this particular person. Now, when you select
a given sticker, you have this much effect, this much features
to play around with. This is the
animations at the in. How do you want it to come in? And then during at the out, how do you want it to go out? And then the looping part is, how do you want it to loop out. So, let's for example,
let's say at the in, we selected something
like this to spin in. You can see the sample,
and then at the out, I wanted it to equally maybe slide left and you can
see just slides left. And in the looping, you could select something like
you just get busy. Maybe it should be
swinging like this. You can see. Very
easy, you can do that. You can vary the motion duration of in and out as
you saw from here. This one is 0.5 seconds. You can increase it to 1
minute the about 1 second dot. You can just play
around with them, and then the looping
duration as well, you can change it from here. That's one of the
powers of stickers. You can add any, and you can check out the
basics from here where you have options to use the transform feature
like this scaling. You can manually
automatically scale it from here to increase
the sizing on your own. You can see we've just
increase the sizing. You can make it to any size. You can manually move it if you're interested and
you can play around with the position as well
manually or automatically. And then the rotation over here, you can increase the rotation, however you want it to which angle do you
want to showcase. And manually, you can
do that also from here. You can click and
rotate it to any album. So this is an arrow, you can put in anything, for example, you can drag this MOG
and just drop it, signifying laughter or
crime as the case may be. So you can resize it, right, resize it, and
position it somewhere. And then you can extend how long you want it to be
on the screen as well. So you can define the length of how much length you
wanted to stay on screen before moving to the next clip before transiting
to the next clip. So that's the power.
And it equally has the same features like
the animation and basics. You can just go ahead and
play around with them. Now, one thing you
should know is that if you like any sticker, you can favorite it from here. So once you add it
to the favor right, as soon as you come to stickers, you'll be able to see all
your fav rights down here. These are trending
ones. You can see them. There are so many, right? So many of them. So it's
all pails down to you. You can just go ahead
and try any one of them. So that's stickers. Let's
try effects as well. So effects are very many. You can see them. Um, you can have the zooming effect or you can have
this dance effect. I like this bomb effect, sometimes, so you can
just drag and drop it. So let's try this bomb effect, and you can just
drug drop it here. Let's see how it's going to have that bomb effect on our beach. So let's move back a
little bit and let's try. You can see it's so powerful
and very, very nice. You can extend how long the bomb effect you also
stay on the screen as well by just elongating from the edges, just
like so, right? So you can reposition it. And again, whenever you
select a particular effect, you can have this much effect, this much features,
the basic feature. You can adjust the atmosphere,
how do you want it, and then you can adjust the
speed of the bombing effect. Okay. So let's play it one more time so you can see
what I'm talking about. Yeah. You see, very
powerful and nice. So depending on you,
how you want it, how you want to what kind
of effects you want to add. You can see so many of them. There's so many
effects depending. You can just check around. There's this opening
and closing. Sometimes they are
very powerful. So for example, let's say
we want to have let's select very fantastic closing. For example, this one, I
often see it on some videos. This one, we can just
drag this closing, and let's add an opening
to this as well. So let's say we have this. Okay, let's say we have this. Oh, let's say we have this, so you can just drag
and drop it here. All right. So, let's say
we drag and drop it there, and then let's play
it to have a preview. So you can see when
you play your video, it's going to start
something like this. And that's very, very powerful. And when it is closing, you take a look at
the closing part. It's going to close
something like this. Yeah, that's very nice. So that's the part of it. And then when you
select on this, also, you have the same effect. You can adjust the effect, okay? And maybe resets and so on. So in any case, you can just go ahead and try
these are lenses, and these are night
club effects and so on. So you can check
them. There are very, very many, and you can
start any of them as well. So that's effect. The
last one is the filters. Filters are equally,
very, very nice. In cases if you don't want to keep tempering
with your coloration, or you are good with
the cooloration. Come over and use
any of the field. These are presets that
you can just easily use drag and drop to your video and it's going to
change everything. So you can see them
of different types. So depending on your choice, you can just keep trying if you find one that
works best for you, then you can just go
ahead and start using it. For example, this one, we can
just drag it and drop it. Said, this is going to
cut across this video, f, for example, you can
drag it to the end. You could drag this
also to the end. And sometimes you
could be able to arrange, you can see the effect. So it has just
turned everything. And the coloration b. I
think this is too hash. You can vary the
intensity from here, you can select, and you
can just a little bit, reduce the intensity and you can see it is reducing the
intensity. I think this is nice. So depending, you can select anyone that you feel like
you can beautify your work. Depending on what
you are creating. You can just easily drag and drop and play around with the
effect or intensity of it. So let's try one more. Let's say we go down here. Kind of like this one, so we can just drag
and drop it, right? And then we can just move this a little bit to extend
the length. Okay. So we can just play. Let's see. So you can give us
that cold nature, but you can just go ahead
and reduce the intensity as well from here so you can
have it a little bit better. So I think this is okay. So
it's all boils down to you. Go ahead and give it a
try and see how much of the filters you can add to
make your videos stand out. These night scenes, and these are sceneries if you
have any depending. So for example, in this
one that we have a beach, you can come over here and
you can add the same effects. For example, when
we remove this, you can add the beach effects. You can see this pool effect. So you can just drag
and drop it here. And if you like it, you
can extend it across. You can see even from the dropping it changed
everything the view is now. Much more pop up and it's very, very beautiful, you can
see. Very, very beautiful. So you can play around with the intensity of it as
well with the same effect. Select it and you come over here and you can
reduce the intensity. But I think this
is kind of nice. It pops out everything
and it's very clear. So I think that does
it for this tutorial, this class, and how to add stickers, effects, and filters. And the next class, we're
going to look at how to add keyframes to our video to make it sound to look much better. You can specify a
giving section or a giving part of a clip that you want to add that
particular effect. Until next time, thanks
for watching and I look forward to meeting you in
the next class, right?
16. Capcut online: Adding Keyframes: Hello, and welcome back.
In the last class, we talked about how to add stickers effects and filters
to our video footage. And in this class,
we're going to look at how to add key frames. Key frames can be added to position to scaling, and so on. So it all boils down to you, how you want to apply it. You can use it to showcase a particular scene or a particular point within
a particular video. So to add key frames. All you need is maybe less
start with something simple. Maybe you can add sticker, for example, and let's say
we select any sticker. Let's start with
something like this. All right. Let's
carry this s to fly. We can just past it
here, for example, and we just extend the length of how it's going to
stay on our video. So let's say it
starts from here, and I want it to fly up to this top over here.
And so we can start. Over here, once we
select the sticker, we can see this match effects. So we can come to the basic. So we want to put in the
keyframes on scaling. Okay. I want to put it on
scaling and position as well, and rotation if
there's any rotation. So let's say we have this tree. So we shift a little bit, and I want about flight
to fly to this point. So I want it to maybe
fly up to this point. And then from here,
I want to change axis So let's say it
protates a little bit. So it protates to this point, and then I want it to fly again, to the next until this point, I wanted to fly to this point. Then from here, you can see the keyframes is
dropping on each. If you extend this, that's when you see it very very clearly, let's zoom out a little bit. So we'll be able to
see the key frames. You can see them coming up. So let's say at this point, I want you to stay here,
then change direction. I want you to change to
change direction and maybe fly to this point. All right. And then from here, I want you to I wanted
to fly back here. All right. And then from here, I wanted to change direction. At this point, I
wanted to fly back. I wanted to just rotate
to face like this. So you can see we have
different key frames. So when we want to play this, we'll be able to see
the effects of what we have created so close on this and let's try to play a preview from the beginning to see what we have just added. We have added a
number of key frames. So let's zoom out a little bit, so you'll be able to see
what I'm talking about. All right, so let's play it. You can see All right, so you can see it flies
to this point then to this point and it flies
up to this point. Then I want you to come
down to this point. And then it changed direction. So it's change rotate. So you can see that's
very powerful. So that's one way
to add a keyframe. On its own, the butterfly is supposed to say in one place. But because we added keyframes, that's why it's able to move across to different location. So let me show you how to add frames in a much better way. For example, I want
to showcase my face. I want to just zoom to
my face very clearly. So you can just select this
particular frame this clip. And then from here, I
want to add a frame. I want to come to basic, and then maybe I want to add I don't want to add
anything with opacity. I I want to add
scaly and position. Okay. Scaling and position. So I want to scale
and a position. So this is the first place. So we move a little
bit to this point. You can see the key frame here. So if you move to this point, what I want to happen at this point is I want
to showcase my face. I wanted to zoom to my face. So what I will do
is I will make sure this is selected, I'll zoom it. Okay. I'll zoom up, and then I'll now manually on my own move it until I
show my face over here. Okay, because I want to show
clearly my face. All right. So from this moment, I
wanted to remain like this to keep showing my
face up to this point. Up to this point, I should
keep showing my face, so I will put another key
frame on position and scaling. Okay. Then from here, I wanted to go back to
where it was before. Okay, so let's say from here, I can scale down, and I can now move it. So I now move it
to where it was. So let's have a preview of
what I'm talking about. So let's move the
playhead to this point. So from this point, it's
going to zoom to my face, and then it stay on zoom in to my face, and
then to zoom out. You can see this in mary
tutorial videos, Tkinhd videos. So let's try it. So you
can see the zooming in, and then the zooming out. So you can see the zooming in, remains, then the zooming out. So that's what I'm
interested in. So that's the power
of key frames, and if you like, you
can move them across. You can extend the length, you can drag and
move them across, very easily, you can
drag and move them to extend or reduce the
length as you so wish. So that's basically how to add keyframes and you can
add them on any clip, signify something to show
emphasis on transformation, maybe scaling or
position as you so wish. So I think this does it
for this tutorial on how to add key frames
to your videos. In the next class, we're going
to look at how to remove background of image and
videos within CAP cards. Until next time, thanks
for watching and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. Bye.
17. Capcut online: Removing Image Backgrounds: All right. So in the last class, we talked about how to add key frames into
our video footage. Within the video footage. You can add different
types of keyframes to make your video look much
better and professional. Now, in this class, we're
going to learn how to remove background from image
and videos alike. So within cap cod. So let's select a particular
video, a particular image. Let's start with an
image. For example, this very image.
We can select it. We can kind of zoom it
out, increase the sizing. So we want to remove everything in the background of this boy, so we want to remove
the background. Okay, so you want to remove
the background of this boy. So all you need is just to
make sure you select the clip from here and you come down
here in the properties. You can see smart tools. Okay, so you can
click on smart tools. So this is auto removal. This is going to remove the
background automatically. Whatever is behind this boy, it's going to be
removed directly. So we can select and enabling it alone is going to
work on it and you can see it perfectly
remove the background, nothing in the background
again, you can see. It's very free, and it has
done a good job because you can right now scale it down
and position it anywhere, and it's going to appear as if this boy is part of
the beach guys, okay? So you can make it a
bit smaller if you want so that he can pick
a position and Casino, this boy is in this peach or can move it to
somewhere here, maybe he's watching, you can see it without
the background. Okay? So at any given point, you can select and you can
remove the background, and Chroma key in enables you to remove a particular color
within that particular image. For example, let's take
a look at this image. Let's drag this image and
put it into this timeline, and Well, look at this image. Assuming we are trying to
remove the green background, the green color in this picture. We can just select the picture. You can come to smart tools
here, and we can say, remove instead of remove the background,
the auto removal, we can use Cromer Key in, which will vs the color picker. So once we click on
the color picker, we can navigate and click on anywhere that we want to
remove that particular color. So for example, we want
to remove this green, and you can see with
just a simple click, it has removed the green
color within our image. Okay. And if you want, you can
do that also on the video. Again, like we've talked about, you can let's see this cat. This cat will have much control. For example, we want to remove the background
of this cat. It's completely green,
so we can just go ahead and come to
the smart tools. We can see remove background, and it's going to be
the auto removal. It's going to remove the
background directly for us. So let's see how much of a good job it's going
to be done on this. So let's see how
it's going to do it. And you can see it has just removed the
background for us. You can see perfectly, it has reduced removed the background. So you can just select and
you can resize it also to any side of your choice and
you can position it anywhere. But you can see it
has done a very, very fantastic and good job. This is a video, so you
can now play and you'll be able to see that background
has been removed completely. Okay. So this is
the power of cap cut in removal of background
and using Chroma key. You can do that on any image or on any of picture that you are trying to
remove the background on. We could do that
also on anything. It the whole thing boils down to you, what
you want to remove. For example, this image, we can try it on this image, and we can click. We can come over
here to smart tools. We can say Chroma key. And if we try to
remove this one, it's going to touch the color. But let's just say we
remove this color. Okay? So let's
remove this color. And you can see it
has done a good job. Only that it
includes the shirts, also, is that hash color. So let's do this, and let's try to do the normal
background removal. So it's going to
give us a good job. All right, so you can see it has removed the background for us, and that's a perfect job done. So that chroma Key is
important if you are targeting a specific color that you want to remove from the
background, very easily. So you can see the
ones, they appear. They are also in the beach
trying to go to the sea. Okay? So that's the beauty of Cp cot and removing background
on both image and video. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we are
going to look at how to render and export our video
for usage outside of Cp cut. So, until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing you in the next class, right?
18. Capcut online: Exporting Videos: All right. So in the last class, we talked about how to remove backgrounds on
videos and images. And in this class, we are
going to talk about how to export our video in different
formats within CP code. So, for example, we have done some very basic
editings over here. And assuming we
like what we see, we like the display, the cuttings, the
joinings, the treatments, and the colorations we've
detailed the most of this clip, and we are very much sting
with what we have and want to export it into an external video that we
can share with our friends. All you need is just to
come to the top right over here and just click on port and you have this much options. You can share the
link for review. People can add comments
to your video, so you can invite people to collaborate with you and
then you can work online, and then you can add things, suggest things for you and you can share as a presentation. Okay, sharing as a
presentation also is good. People can only watch
your video directly. Once they click on the link, they can watch the
video directly. And then you have
more options that you can share on TikTok
TikTok Ads Manager, YouTube shots, and
Facebook page, and on instagram reals. You can share in all of these. But for this tutorial,
for this class, we're going to download
directly onto our PC. So all you need is just to
come to download over here, and you have this much
settings to play around with. The first one is
you have to specify the name of the project which
you have given earlier on. I've been saved on your Cloud. And you have the resolution
to define of a share. You can go as far as ten ATP, which is recommended for
TikTok and even Tube, you can go up to ten 80. But for this, I'm going
to just stay at 7:20, which is also good for YouTube. And then quality, you can
go for recommended quality, or you can go fast exporting, which is what I used to go for, fast exporting, but then
with good quality as well. Then with frame rate, you
can vary deferent rate. 25 is good, but I
go as far as 30. So you stay at 30, and you're going to have a
smooth and very good export. So once you set in everything and you're setting
with what you have. Next is, you have to specify the video format.
MP four is good. But if you want to go and
move, you can use move, but I used to go for MP
four, which is also perfect. So once you're done,
you can just go ahead and export directly. And it's going to
start rendering saving the process and then start rendering and
exporting your videos. You can see right
now it's exporting. You just give some seconds
to finish the export, and then you are now going to download it into your system, so you can view it
within the system. Okay, so video had
been exported. You can see it over
here, so you can go ahead and
download it directly by just clicking and download and it's going to
download it for you. You can see it. It's going to start the download from here. All right, so you
can see it it's been downloaded and
within some seconds, it's going to
complete. All right. So the video had
been downloaded and you can click to our preview of it. So this is it. You can just click to it. This is an MP four video. You can just play it seven 20. I think this is kind of perfect, so you can play it
to see if you have anything you wanted
to know what about. So this brings us to the
end of this class on how to export the
video in MP four. In the next class,
we're going to look at how to convert script to video. It's very easy to convert a script to the video
within CP code. So Cp code is loaded
with this feature. So until next time, thanks
for watching and I look forward to meeting you
the next class. Bye.
19. Capcut online: Convert Script to Video: All right. So in the last class, we talked about how to export our video in different
formats within CAP cut. And in this class, we're
going to look at how to generate a video
from a text, okay? Because you've known
recently that I has been introducing all of the
different kind of products, and now I is doing a lot
of the hard work for you. You just need to
learn how to use it so that you can
be able to be very much efficient and effective in whatever creation you
are trying to create. So in this class, we'll
look at the use of EI to write scripts
and generate video. So all you need is just to come out of the video
editing platform. By coming to go
back to Homepage, you can click to go
back to Home Page, and we brought back
to the Homepage assuming we're done with
this video creation. So I'll just show you
how to use the power of EI to create your own
video from script. All you need once you back
to the home page is to come over to script to video
here. So you just click. This is I directly
artificial Intelligence. So you can come over here. The command is press the forward slash and then to use the I writer to
generate the script. So you can use from the keyboard
press on the for slash, and you can see you
have the option to select between the two a script. You have narration script or commercial script
depending on you. But let's say we'll go
with the narration script. So I want you to write an
essay about solar system. You can define the
number of wordings, and so on the it's going to pick that and it's
going to write for you. Once you specify this, I need an A about this solar system. I can just on enter and you can see it's generating
the text for me. It's just going to
generate the entire script that I need for this video. You can see it
almost getting done. So you see it's now done. So Hello, everyone. Today I would like
to talk to you about an about the solar system. The solar system is the
collection of planets, moons, and other celestial
bodies that obit the sun. Okay? So this is you can
read through to understand how far this write up
has. This is script one. You can click on this arrow
to go to the next script. This is the second script. Hello everyone.
Today, I want to talk about an EC about
the solar system. The solar system is a
collection of planets, moons, and other
celestial bodies. They are not the same. But
they can look similar. So you can go to
the third script, the fourth script, the
fifth script, and so on, you keep going and going and going and reviewing,
whichever one you want. Let's say this one is quite short, and we can use this one. So you can just say use this or you can discard start again. So let's say you will
use this script, even though it's quite long, where you can try to
remove some part of it. You can just select some
of this and delete, and you can delete
that portion as well. So if you want to add
more forever you are, you can just hit on enter
on the fourth slash button, and then you can maybe add
the types of solar system. Let's say we want to add the
types of top solar system, so we can just sit on enter
and it's going to generate those types for us and
add them to our script. So you can go ahead and
just generate your script, however you want it with how
much detail you want to add, so you can see on the different
types of solar system. So if you want, you can say
so you can remove this hello. First, let's start with the so you can remove
this and say types of So it will look like
you are starting at first. Once you hit and enter, it's going to be added to your AC. You can see it's been added
separately to your A. So you can write the
content continuously until you get it done and you satisfy this is in conclusion. Maybe I don't want
this conclusion. I can just delete them. Now we have our script. If you want to write more, you can still use the forward slash or you can
come down to the AI writer and it's going to directly start from where
your mouse cos is. So you can start writing. That's the power of cap cut. Once you're done, you read everything and
you're starting, you like what you see over here. Let's reduce the The
text is kind of much, so that we can go ahead
and generate the video. So once you come over here,
you say generate video. Now you have the
option to select this Smart generation
or custom generation. In custom generation, you can
now add the media yourself, the videos, the images, you can add them on your own. But if you go to Smart creation, CapcoT will generate the video with all the materials suitable based on the
description based on the scripts that you've
added into the description. So over this, you can select the aspect ratio,
or can aspect ratio? Is it a 16 by nine
video or is it a vertical video one by one video for
Instagram, for example. Then down here, you
select the reader. Who do you want to read,
multiple readers from here. You can just go ahead and kick start and select any of them. So this is let's go
with the male voice. Let's say we select this guy energetic and you can just go ahead and say
generate the video. And it's going to take some
time to generate the video. And the good side
to this is that the media is going to add
to you might be relevant. And in some cases,
you might need to add one or two things to met up because these
are completely EI, and there's a lot of learning
going on in this platform. So let's give some seconds
to finish generating, and then we can assess the
video and see how much of a correct feature that it has added and what and what
can we add or reduce. Oh, everyone. Today, I would like to talk about an essay
about the solar system. The solar system is the
collection of planets, moves, and other
celestial bodies. I think this is very, very nice and this
is very perfect. And it talks about
the solar system showing the images
of the solar system. This is very, very perfect. So you can see many, many
things and you can just fast forward to any point
and you can play to L and C. Connected to the I think this is good with a very fantastic
background music. And if you want, you got
to export this directly, or you can go ahead
and edit edit the video directly within the video editing
platform that we have, or you can go ahead and edit
descript if you want to go back and edit de script and
still regenerate the video. But I think I'm okay
with what I see, so I can just go ahead and
edit the video, and in here, it's going to take it to
the editing platform, which you can just remove or
add anything of your choice. But to me, this is
a very good job, and you can just carry
out some basic things. And then once you're done, you certain you like what you see, you can just go
ahead and export it. All right. So you can see right now it has generated the video, including the captions and
everything that you need. You can see it's giving us
a complete video over here. So you can check out
even the captions. It has auto generated. It's a very, very nice caption. So you can just go ahead,
review it, check out. If you have any issue, you
can follow the tutorial that you've just done on the
whole class on how to edit, remove some sections, and add some sections of
the video as well. So if you're done, you
can just go ahead and export it directly
using this feature. So it's very, very nice. So basically, this is
how to generate video from script that we have using artificial
intelligence, okay? So in the next class, we are going to learn
the last thing, which is how to use CP
cut on the desktop, downloading the cap cot and using it on desktop completely. So until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing you in the next class, right?
20. Capcut on Desktop: Downloading and Installing: All right, so in the last class, we talked about why you should choose CAP Cut as
a video editor. What are some of its
features that you can benefit from
when you choose it. And we talked about
in detail what Cp cout is and what
you can use it for. So in this class, we're
going to talk about how to download and install
cap on your desktop. So to start with, you could
open any of your browsers. You can come to the search bar and just search for Google. You will search for it directly. We brought in here,
and you can just go ahead and search for Cp cout. Directly just like so, and then you hit and enter. The first one cap cord all
in one video editor and graphic design tool part by
EI. You can see it over here. It's available for
Mark Windows or Linux operating system and even available on Android and IOs, just like we've described
in the last class. So could just click
on the first one cap cord.com and you'll be brought
into this very platform. So you could see
it Lu explained, and you could automatically detect which operating
system you're working with, and it's going to
give you the version of that operating system. So to download, you come
all the way down here. Edit videos online, you have the option to use
the online version, which we have already
covered in the last course that you've given on
CAP cart tutorial. Okay, so if you are interested in checking out the
online version, I will equally link up
the video that I make on complete tutorial on the video edition, using
the online version. I will link it up over here. And then if you want to
download for Mac because it automatically detect that I'm using mark operating system, so we will download
the Marc version. Okay. Alternatively, you can come to the download
over here and you'll be able to
see you can download for Windows and Mac. If you have windows, you can just click to download Windows. And if you want to download
for Mobile as well, you can click to
download for Mobile. And if you want to use
the online features, you can just go
ahead and sign up or sign in accordingly.
All right. So downloading is very easy. Once you click on this, it's just going to start
the download. And then installing also is
just a step by step process. You can just go ahead, follow
it through and just install There are lots of things that
you can check around here, like the powerful features, the templates that they have and what and what CAP CT
is capable of doing. You can just go ahead and have a overview of the software
and what they offer. Okay. But for now to just
download and install, you click on this for depending
on your operating system, and then you could download
and install Installation, again, it's very simple. So I'll just give you
some time, download, install it because I've just
done that on my system, and I'll see you in
the next class, right?
21. Capcut on Desktop: Creating a Project and Interface Overview: All right. So in the last class, we talked about how
to download and install Cp cut on your dektop. I've just downloaded
mine and installed. And in this class,
I'm going to show you how to open and
create a project, and then we're going to look at the general overview of
the Cp cot platform. So to open Cap cot, you can just come all the way to your launch part and
just click on it, and then you can
just go ahead and search for Cp cut
just like that, and you'll be able
to see it over here. This is Cp cod. And
once you click, it's going to open
cap cot for you. Now, you'll be welcome
to this very platform. At the bottom here, you will
be able to see these are projects that you've worked on or the ones I'm
currently working on. You'll be able to
see them over here. And over here, you have
the option to search. If you have multiple projects,
you can search directly, or you can change the view from the Grid view to list view, if you want them to
be in list view. Something like this arranged
with these details, or if you want you can go
back to the Grid view. I usually prefer the grid
view because it's easier to kind of understand what video or what
project you're on. And at any given point, you can delete any of the
project using this delete b. And then when you hover
over any of the projects, you can see there
are three dots. Once you click, you're able to see you can rename a project or duplicate or delete also
directly from here, right? So for this tutorial, we're going to create a project. You can create an image, which maybe we're going to
look at through this tutorial, or you can check autoriframe. But for this tutorial, we're just going to start by
creating a simple project. And if you want to
check out the settings, you can come to this
icon over here. You can just click. You can
check out the basic settings. This is the latest version. You can check out the
settings from here and you have this much
options to look after. Okay? Like, these are
the project settings. You can specify the folder
where you want to save, and then material download. If you want to
download anything, where do you want to take it. You can define the
directories from here. And then you can say, don't delete cache files or
auto delete catch files, you can specify this
after 30 d or they about. Over here, you'll be able to see the cache size in your desktop, so you can be able to
delete or as you so wish. So this is the project. This is the edit features. You can just go ahead and just explore them and see what's
and what you can change. Usually, I leve
everything that default, deframe rate is usually 30, and then this is the time code. And if you have anything, I don't usually touch anything. These are performance
which I don't touch, except if you have anything
that you want to change, the proxy location,
I don't change also. So it comes very easy
during the clearing. The language, you can
select any language of your choice for the
default is English. So that's what I'm
going to leave. I don't touch anything,
but in case if you need to change anything,
this is where you come. So for you to start, you can create a project directly from here
by just clicking on the so lets click to open
a new fresh project. So this is a brand new
project over here. It's unnamed. Okay,
the first thing you need to do is to start
by naming the project. You can do that by coming to the top here and
double clicking. Maybe let's call
this sample editing. Okay, so you have saved this and it's now titled sample Editing. Now, this is the location
where you're going to find it. It is saved under this CP
court, user data project, and it is here, so you can easily at
any given point and navigate to this location and you'll be able to
see your folder. These are the basic settings
that you've selected. If you can modify this
if you're interested. But then this is the
main platform of CPC. So let me take you
through to just give you an overview of what
the platform is all about, what you expect
and what you see. At the beginning, it may
look a little bit complex, if not used any video
editing software before, but it's common. It's very generic
And if you've used, you'll be able to understand
most of the key features. So the first one to the
left is the media beam, which is where you house
all of your media. You can import all
of your media here from images to videos to audios. You can just import directly. By clicking on this,
you can just import your media and just past them and then bring them
up into the timeline, which we're going to
look at in detail. So this is from local
or you can import from any device connected to a
system or from a library, if you have them. And
then this is audio. Capct comes in with different kind of audios
that are copyright free. All you need is just to
specify and just download it. And then it's become
part of your system. That's one of the advantages of using the desktop version. Anything you download
stays on the desktop. So you have music, you
have sound effects, you have copyright check. You can do that on any media, and then you have
extracted audios, you have extracted audios
and TikTok or there about. You can just explore this and see what and what they have. And then we have
the text features. There are different
types of texts from default text to effects, the ones that have
effects on their own. So you have multiple of them. You can just select and bring in and just customize
accordingly. You have them of
different types. There are different
templates that you can use for your content. Auto captions if you want
to generate auto captions, you can just specify
the language, and it's going to generate that. We're going to look into it
also through this tutorial. And then this is local captions. If you have a caption, you've captioned a video, you can just import it and it's going to tie up with what you These are SCAs. A lot
of SCAs are available. So MOG emphasis, icons
of different types, you'll be able to use them flog. These are Christmas
celebration modes and journals effects. You can just write effects. You have quite a number of them. It's just up to you
to just decide. So Capcd is toughed in with
all of these features, and then we have effects. Different kind of
effects that you can apply to your videos. These are presets
that you can just download and add
directly to your videos. In each case, if you
hover over any of them, you're going to
see the effect is going to give to your content. And then we have transition. Now, the effects are
of different types, you can see them. These are lenses,
these are stars. These are TV shows, TVs and dark and so on. There's so many
glitch and so on. You can see them,
so many of them. Next, and one of the most
important is transition. There are different
kind of transitions that we have in CAP cod. And as you hover
over any of them, you'll be able to
see the effect he's going to have on
your video also. There are different types.
You can see them arrange. These are blow type. These are blow type. These are basic type. These are basic
slides in and so on. These are different
types. These are band doors and flags and so on. You can see a lot of
them, this is left right. There are so many so many, you can just explore to see what kind of
transitions you can use. And then there are
filters that you can apply effects that you can apply in preset mode to change your videos within
just a simple click. We're going to look
at how some of these are going to change the
looks of our video. And then we have
manual adjustments. If in cases, if you
want to use lots, we're going to look
at how to import lots also and use
them on your videos. Now, this to the left, we
have this much effects. To the center, you have
the preview panel. This is where you preview everything that you
have in the timeline. So over here, we have the properties panel,
whatever image, whatever media that you
have in the timeline, when you click on it,
you'll be able to see all of the
properties over here. We're going to look in
detail on how to check out the properties panel and
and what you can do with it. Now down here, this is where
you have the timeline. Whatever you import in as media, you can just drag
and drop it into the timeline and it'll
be arranged over here. This is where you do all of your basic editing,
the cuttings, the joinings, as well as
any other editing feature. The trimming, you could
do all that from here, and the increasing and
decreasing of number of tracks and how to
manage your tracks, you'll be able to do
everything from this side. Right? And then over here, you have a number of
other controls that we're going to cover as we
move on in the tutorial. So these are select usually
they are short cuts. The select is split with letter
B and the select forward leftward select right word you can change the selections
using these features. These are some key short cuts, and we have a bunch of other
features here that we're going to cover as we
start with this tutorial. So I think this concludes this class on how
to create a project and the general overview
of the CAP cut platform. Okay? I hope you
enjoy this video. In the next class,
we are going to look at how to import
and manage media. Within Cap court, right? So until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. Bye.
22. Capcut on Desktop: Importing and Managing Media: All right. So in the last class, we talked about the interface
overview of Cp cot. And in this class, we are
going to look at how to import and manage
media within Cp cot. Now to import media, all you need is just to be at the media being here
at the top left. You should make
sure you're at the media selection
with the media tab, and then you have the option
to import media from local. Or from the library. Okay? So if you want to
import from local drive, you can just go
ahead and in port. So you can go ahead and import directly by just
clicking on this. And you can navigate to
wherever you have your videos. In my own case, I have my videos arranged over
here, so I have them. I can select all of them at the same time and just go
ahead and click on Import, and everything is going to
be imported in my media bin. So you have the option to
create a folder and overhre. You can just rename the
folder, for example, You can just rename it and
call it my video footage. All right. We click and have all my video
footage from here. And then I can make
all the selection. I can select all of them, drag them and put them
in this folder. So it's good and it's
very important to stay organized when you're
dealing with CP cod. And the next thing is you can alternatively on
your own navigate to wherever you have the media and just drag and drop it
into the timeline, just like, so I have this folder that contains
all of my audio. I just drag and drop it, and I could do the same
also with the image. Okay. So I have these
images and once I click, you can see these
are images that I have uploaded within my drive. You can always go
back and you can select this my audios,
you can see the views. And as usual, at the top here, you'll be able to
change the view. You can change it
from the thmnal to the least the grite
to the least view. You can always change it, and you'll be able to see as you hover over any of the media, you'll be able to see a preview of it in this preview player. So you can just go ahead
and select on all. But I think I prefer the
grid view in this case also, and then you can sort
also accordingly. You can sort by
time created name, file type duration and
the latest to earliest. So you can see right now it's sorted earliest to the latest. So you have the option to
change the sorting accordingly and you can search for
any particular media using the search
button over here. All right. So this is
how to bring in media, one way using the local drive. The second way is you
can come to the library. There are a number of
different kind of trend in, and we have Christmas
video related. You can see different videos. All you need is just to click on the download here and
you can download it. If you want to have it part of your start or favorite items, you can come all the way to the favorite feature
over here and just click on this and you'll be able to add this
to your favorites. The only thing is
that you just need to sign in to be able
to have this start. So you can use favorite
type anything, anyone, and you can download anyone for use locally on your drive. So you have them of
different types, green screen of different types, you can see them. You can
just go ahead and see. We're going to learn how to
remove green screen from different videos to give
us some special touch. And then we have backgrounds of different types and of
different sizes of video, you can check out the
backgrounds and we have intro and end videos. These are different types
of intros that you can easily customize and
attach them to your video. So these are many of them
transitions, and so on. You can just check out the various different types
of media that you can easily import directly as a media within your computer
and continue to work. If you have anyone
that you like, for example, I kind
of like this one. I can just go ahead and click on download and it's
going to dowload it, and then we're going to
add it into our media. Right? So you can see,
as you hover over, you'll be able to
see the preview of what that video is all about. And when you click
on this plus sign, it's going to automatically add this to your timeline over here. So let's say we click
on this plus sign, and you can see we've just
added it into our timeline. It comes into this track. And once you select
this particular media, you'll be able to see the
media properties over here, like the video properties, the speed properties, the
animations, the adjustments. You can see everything
from here, right? And these are basic properties, and then these are
cutout properties, and then we have the mask properties and so on. So you'll be able to see
these enhanced properties. These are basic visually, what we do is the basic, we stay at the basic and do most of the things that
we're going to do. Okay? So this is basically
how to import the media. You have a bunch of other
things which we are going to look at when
we go into editing. But then right now, we
have shown how to import media from the library
and from the local drive, which we have shown over here. So in this case, also, if you want to bring
in of the media, you can just double
click and you can either drag and drop
it into the timeline, just like so you can do the point and outpoint like
we do in most software. In CP court, you have to just
make sure you hover over. Okay. As you hover over, you can just hit on the point and then as you
hover over again, you can hit on the letter
to define the outpoint. And when you drag and drop, it's just going to drag and drop just that section that
you have defined. So if you want to drag and drop any section also from here, you can just hover over, define the location,
and you just say point, you can move again to this
point and say outpoint. And if you're
comfortable with this, you can equally drag and drop. But then mind you, you can
come to the edges and you can shift to extend
the length of it. So let me show you
this is point, and this is probably
the outpoint. You can extend the length
by coming to the edges. You could drag and extend
or reduce the length, to cover the areas that
you want to capture or to make it flexible so you can capture as many as you want. And then you can just go
ahead and drag and drop. Very easily, you
could drag and drop, and you have this much feature. And if you drag it
to the top, also, you create another different
kind of layer. So from this, we've created another
layer of track. Okay, so when we move up, you have another layer of track. So basically, there
are so many things to look at here in
terms of the editing, which we're going to
cover in the next class. I think this concludes
this tutorial on how to import a media into the media
bin and then manage it. Okay, try to arrange
it and folders, and then import it
from library and still do the same
arrangement over here. I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching.
In the next class, we are going to look
at the basic editings. How do we do some very
basic editings within our cup court to
trim and cut and then arrange our
media in cup court. So until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class, by?
23. Capcut on Desktop: Basics of Video Editing: All right. So in the last class, we talked about how to import and managed media
within the media beam. And in this class,
we're going to learn the basic editing. How do we edit our videos
in the most basic way. Okay? How do we do some cuttings and joinings and
so on. All right? So let's start by opening the
video clips that we have, and you can import media like we've explained
in the last class by just coming over to
the particular media. You can drag and
drop it directly. This is one way.
Alternatively, you can use hover over it and select
a particular point. Again, you can say
maybe at this point, you define as the point,
you can hit on the letter, and then you can define to
this point that out point, you can hit on the
letter, and then you have this section now
to add to the timeline. And once you hit
on this plus sign, it's going to add it
from the beginning of where you have your playhead. So this is the
playhead which you can use to navigate
across to be able to see the preview of whatever is underneath the playhead
within this preview player. So this
is how to import. You can manually
drag and drop or you can select the
point and outpoint, and you can drag and drop
the media indirectly. So again, you can do that with audio or with video,
however you want it. You can just go ahead,
select Audio and you just drag and drop it
into the timeline. So just like so.
I'll be able to see we have the audio profile
directly down here. So you can do some
very basic editings after importing your
media directly. So the first one is you can notice that when
you import a media, you create a track. The track is being created, and with some of the features. For example, in the video track, you can see you have this
click to edit cover. If you want to edit the cover, you can click on this
and be able to edit what cover you can
select from the video. If you have it locally, you can just import a
particular cover and edit, or you can specify the
location directly from here. This is one of the
beauties of using cap cut on the desktop. Over here, you can mute
the clip audio directly. You can mute it and you can just disable or hide the track
by just clicking on this. The whole of this track
now becomes hidden. You will not be able
to have access to it until you enable
directly from Pre. Or you can lock it against
any kind of feature exchange. You will not be able
to change anything after you have locked until
you have locked it from Pre. And then the something
for the audio, you can mute it down here or you can lock it against any
change or thereabout. Now, one of the key things
that you can do is you can change the mouse view
from the select button, like now it is on
the select mode. You can always return to the selection mode
with the letter A, or you can create a
split with the letter B, or you can do this select
left and backwards. Okay, you can select forward and backward with the
square brackets. So to create a split, anywhere within your clip, you can just select that clip, and you can either
press on letter B to create that split to
enable the so tool. With this line, you can just
split at any gating point. But then when when you
hit the command B, it creates a split. Right now, you can see
we'll split this into two, you can split multiple by
just hitting on letter B. Anywhere you click, you're
going to create that split. So let's do this to
do it one more time. Okay. So if you go back to the selection tool
with the letter A, You can see right now you're
on the selection tool. When you click on any place, you're not going to
split on anything. But then when you use letter B, it's now on the
razor blade tool. So when you click anywhere, it's just going to
create that split. So let's go back to letter
A and we can select and move the sections that we've just
created the split on. Okay, so this is one way. Another very important way to split or to cut in
sections of a clip or multiple clips is
using the keywords and shortcut keys W. If you
want to create a split, again, you can use the command
B or Mac or Control B. On windows to create
the same split. And this kind of split cuts
across the clips, okay? So come and B to create that
split, and you can do this. So let's say we
select both clips. And when we do come and B, it's going to cut
across both clips. Okay? So this is one way. Another way to do
the same cutting is going to be by using
this delete left. If you want to do delete left, you can use it with
the letter Q on your keyboard or letter
W to delete right. So if you want to delete
just this section of the video from the beginning
of this to this point, you can just use
letter Q from where the playhead is down to the
edge of that particular clip, you can use on letter Q, and you can see it's just going to create that. Okay. So
let's see with letter Q, you can see you've created
that delete section. You've deleted that
particular section. So you can select and
you can use Letter Q. You can see you've created that delete from that
particular section. And then you can use on the delete right with letter
W. So when you click on W, it's going to delete
from the right section. So it's going to be
from the right section, that it's going to
delete from here up to the playhead with
letter W. You can see. Letter W, you've
created that split. Right? So that's the beauty
of using the Cp code editor. Okay, so you can select
and you can use letter W, and you can see deleted
dissection from the right. Let's do this, if I want to delete this section
from the left, I can just use Letter Q, and you can see a deleted
dissection from the left. So you can select and do very many editings like
you can delete a section, or you can move a section
to another point. You can just drag and
move them and you can bring some up
or you can change the tracks or the
about You can do very many basic things on your own if you want
to enable that. And then you can
select to delete, or you can rotate a
section of the video. For example, at this
point, if you select this, you can click to rotate
it to any angle, and it's just going to
okay this is reversing. You can click to reverse it, and it's going to be playing backwards instead
of playing forward. It's going to start
playing backwards. All right. So when
you play this, you'll notice that it is going
to be playing backwards. So this is playing backwards. And then this is flipping. If you want to flip it, you can see you can flip to the
right or to the left. You can easily do that. And then you have this rotate feature. You can rotate it to any
angle of your choice. You can vary the angle or you
can on your own manually, select from here and create the rotation depending on what angle you're
trying to create. So and then you can do
cropping from here. You can crop from any angle. You can specify the length. You can crop from the
left or from the top. Okay, from the bottom, depending on the section
you're trying to create. And once you are done cropping, you can just confirm on this
and itqres going to crop. You have multiple
other selections. You can rotate it to any angle
of your choice, all right? Or you can crop ratio, can select the free cropping, or you can do it with
this standard templates one by one, four
by three or there. You can do all of
these croppings and if you are not setting with
what the croppings you have, you can always reset this and everything is going
to go back to normal, which is what I
want at this point. So I can just click
on confirm and I have my video back to normal. And over here, I can just select and bring it back to
where it was at three 60. Okay. So this is about editing. And once you select
a particular clip, you can come over here. You have the different
clip properties like we've explained earlier on. This is the basic properties. You can play around
with a lot of things from here that has to do
with this particular clip. For example, the sizing, you can increase or decrease
the sizing from here or you can scale things
uniform scaling. You can select to
enable uniform scaling, or you can change the
position on the x axis. You can click to add something
on the X on the y axis. You can increase or
decrease or you can add rotation also
from here manually. But at any given point,
if you don't want, you can always come over
here and reset everything, and then this is back to normal. Okay. So down here, you have the bunch
of other things. You can align left
right and center. You can change the alignment.
You have the modes. You can change the
different modes that you have color dodge,
hard light and so on. You can change the
different modes. And over here, you
have the opacity. You can play around
with the opacity, you can increase or decrease
accordingly from here. So these are very basic video editing properties
like the motion blow, later on we'll look at how to add some key advanced features. But this basic if you want to check out the
audio properties, if there's audio with this clip, you'll be able to see the
audio properties over here. Like the volume, you can
play around with volume, increase or decrease the volume, and create a fade in or fade
out. You can always do that. You can create a fade in and fade out directly in the volume. So later one we'll come to
deal with how to manage audio, we'll show how to increase
create fade in and fade out. And many other ones, you can enable loudness
normalization over here, enhance the voice directly using this feature and it's going to automatically
enhance your voice, if you have an audio selected. So down here, you have
a lot of controls, vocal isolation and channels you can play around with them. So later, we'll check out
this is voice changer. You can change your
voice to sound like a cheap monk or something like
different kind of voices. You can try it maybe much
later to see how it works. And then you have speed. You can change speed you can make it at times
two times three, Just to increase
the speed thereb. And then you have animations and adjustments, which
we're going to look at. But basically, when
you touch any media, you have its properties
over here that you can directly or indirectly change to enhance it or
to make it better. Down here, you have a
bunch of other features, which we're going to look
at also as we move on. Again, you can trim
from the edges. If you come to hover over
the edge of any clip, you can click and you can drag inside to trim it
from the inside, and you can click and drag also inside to trim it from
the other edge, okay? At any given point,
you notice that if you try to delete
anything from here, or you tried to move anything
it magnetizes to the end. If you want to remove this,
you can come over here. This is remove turn
off magnet track, main track magnet, so
you can turn it off and you can see you can
select and move it around. So in cases, if
you want to create a split or you want to
remove a section of this, for example, you enable the so blade patre
and you click here, create a cart and
you click here. Also, you create another cart. You can always come back to the selection mode and
select on this and delete, and it's just going
to leave a space. So if you want, you can select that section and
delete it on your own. If you like you
can drag manually and clip it to the edge. You can just drag
and connect them, and then you can select and move them across
to this section. Okay. But in essence, you can do trimming from each angle from this
angle, also, you can trim. Even though it
leaves that space, you can trim on your own, can move things around and you can trim from the
other edge as well, and you can move your clips
however you want them across. And it cuts across even images. You can come back here and
you can import images. And you are going to
experience the sameth when you drag and drop
them into the timeline, you have a bunch
of other features. Once you select an image, you'll be able to have
its basic properties over here that you can edit. And you can do the same
cuttings across with the letter B and create
cards also in the same way. So I think this does
it on this Tutoral on generally how to
edit your videos. Down here, you
have other things. One thing you may
notice is that you can zoom in and out in
the timeline with this. So you can zoom in
to be able to see precisely when you want
to make a simple cut, you can zoom in to see
the details of it, and you can zoom out using this. And at any given point, you can always zoom to fit. This is zoom in to fit so that you can be able to
see within the timeline. Everything now zooms out and
stay within the timeline. So in this case, in this
audio, in this case, you can just select from
here and create a trim. You can just select and
come to the top here, and then you can create a trim. So you can go back to
the selection mode, go back to the selection mode, we letter A, and then you can come to the edge here and just select and drag and trim
it to the edge over here. And then over here,
you have the option to record an audio thereabout, which we're going to look
at also in this tutorial. This is the magnet feature. And this is ton
off auto snapping. If you want to enable auto snapping or you want
to turn it off, you can remove from here. And then this is ton of
linkage between clips, and then this is
turn off Preview. Preview axis. You can
turn off preview axis. This is Zoom timeline, so you can be able to see all the media within the timeline. So basically, this
does it on how to edit your video
clips in Cp cot. Do some very basic editings. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class,
we're going to look at recording with Cp cot, which is another way to
bring in media into Cp cot. Okay, how do we record
things with Cp code. So until next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. Bye.
24. Capcut on Desktop: Recording Voiceover : All right, so in the last class, we talked about very
basic editings within your video or audio or maybe sometimes your
images in Cp cout. And in this class, we're
going to cover how to record your voice
over with Cp cot. So recording a
voice over is also equally another means or another way to record
or to import a media. Not to record a voice
over within CAP cot. All you need is just to come to the bottom right over here. You can see record with this speaker icon. You
can just click on it. I need to bring you
over to this dalg so you can select the
input device from here, all of your devices,
microphone or headset or any kind of external microphone that
you have connected. You'll be able to
visualize them over here. In this case, I'm
selecting my road T USB. You can vary the volume,
you can reduce the volume, or you can increase it directly, and I want to increase
it, you'll be able to see the sensitivity also
increasing from here. But I usually keep it at 100 to give me a bit of
professional audio. So 100 is good. But
this recording, we're not going to enhance the audio with this
much features. I'll just keep it plain, basic, so we record and
the latter we'll record with these two
features enabled, and then we could be able
to see the difference. So to start recording, you can
come to the top over here, and you can just press on this fret button to start recording. So let's start. We have
this countdown timer. Hello, and welcome
to my channel. This is just a test of recording with Cap cut
voice over recorder. I hope you are enjoying
this video and you're learning something
out of it because there's going to be a
practical section where we're going to take start editing
videos from scratch. So you can stop the video
by just clicking on the red button over here and you have your audio finished. Okay, so this is
the finished audio. Let's play it to have a
preview of what two created. Hello, and welcome
to my channel. This is just a test of
Card with Cap cut Now, this is perfect
because it gives us a very good and clean
and clear do. So let's try to see how
we can enhance it with the equal reduction and voice enhancement features
that we have within CAP cod. Let's select this and
let's select this as well. But then we don't need to
mute the other projects. So let's create another do. Maybe we can start by selecting this and probably deleting this. Okay, so let's start from here. Let's click on the red
button to start recording. Hello, and welcome
to my channel. This is just a test of the
audio recording using CAP cut, but we've enabled the enhancement and eco
reduction features. And you can notice
that in the timeline, before the video
start recording, there is a countdown timer, which after that you
start recording properly. I hope you're enjoying the video and you're learning
something out of it. So you can always click on the red button to
stop the recording, and we can go back and hear the preview of what
you have recorded. Hello, and welcome
to my channel. This is just a test
of the do recording using CAP cut but we've enabled
the encancment reduction. Yes. I think this is perfect
because there's a lot of reduction in the noise
dpaground noise, and the echo. Also, it's been great it's
been greatly improved. I can tell this from the sound that we have from
the audio recorded, there's a lot of improvement. So this concludes this
tutorial on how to record your voice
over using cap cord. You could go ahead and try it using the various
settins that we have in the voice enhancement,
the echo reduction. And then if you want
to raw footage, you can go ahead and select the particular input device
and record directly. So I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we're
going to look at adding text and titles and formating
them, within Cap court. Okay? So I hope you
enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching,
and I look forward to seeing you in the
next class, right?
25. Capcut on Desktop: Adding and Customizing Texts: So in the last class,
we talked about how to record your voice
over within Cp cut. And in this class, we're
going to look at how to add text and format
them within Cap cut. Okay, so to add a text, let's say we have this video. This one, we can see the ones they are talking
about some tourists, for example, and this is an
example of those tourists. Already enjoy the view. So, let's say we have
added some section. Maybe let's say we
added from here. We'll define this at the point, and then maybe up to this point. Just this movement
of this ocean, you can just define
the outpoint and the drag and drop
this in our timeline. As soon I like it like this, if I like, I can just
say up to this point. I can le the letter B
and credit card back to the selection tool
with the letter A and then select and
delete in this section. Now I want to add text describing some of these
features of what they are doing. I can select. I can come to the text menu at the
top here. I can click. You can have the option to
add default text directly. For example, this is default without any effect
without anything. So we can just click
on this plus sign, and it's going to be added from the point where you have
your playhead located. So let me do this because I
want to add it at this point. So I have to position
my playhead here. So I can click on
this and it's just going to add in my text. Okay, with this plot sign, I can see it's just
been added my text. So let me now go ahead and customize this text.
So you can select it. You can see it comes in
in a different layer. I come over here. Once you have it selected, you have the text
properties over here. These are basic properties. You can select the text
and change it from here. You can say, for example, welcome to Langa
welcome to Cameroon. Highlands is one of
the highlands that are visited in Maltia.
So you can click out. And when you select back, double click and you
can move them around, and you can select
front from the edges, and you can resize your
text directly using this. You can select and
move it around. And then you have the
option to play around with the basic text editing
features like you can change the pont
of different types. There are different types
of fonts from here, which you can just
click to download and you add it to your text. I think I like the
phones that I have. You can manually on
your own increase or decrease the size in from
here using the size, or you can put in the numbers, or you can use this to increase or decrease also accordingly. You can bold, you can utilize, you can underline, and you can add different kind of features. I think I don't like
it to be underlined, and I do like it to be
bolded at this point. You can change the case from the caps to the small letters or initials with
capital letters. You can change all
this from here. You have the option on your own manually change
the coloration, I think in this background, you can see we can
change the coloration. But White is actually
doing a good job, so I'm not going to
change it from white. Okay, so you can click out, can change the
character line numbers from here and change the alignments left
right and center in cases if you have
your many text. Okay? And then over here, you have a bunch of other
presets that you can easily with just a simple click
enable it in your text. So, for example, we
can go with this, and we just one
click you can see our text had been changed
to something else. Can select on this if you like. I think I kind of like this
because it pops out clearly. You can just go ahead and experiment with the
different presets that we have here and see which one is going to give you exactly
what you're looking for. This one has a background,
black background, and it mops. It makes the white color
pops out a little bit, and I think this is much better. So let's say we
reduce the sizing by making it bigger or we
can keep it like this. Okay, so you can play
around with the presets. And then down here, you
have the position and size. You can scale it like we've explained in the sizing.
This is scaling. And then you could do uniform scaling in x and
y, or accordingly, you can do it in x, or in y, and then you can rotate to different angles
from here, right? And you can always
twit it to an angle. And at any given point, if you want to bring
it back to normal, you just double
click on the text, and it's going to go back
or reset it back to normal. You can change the
alignment, you can align left right and center accordingly using
these very basic things. And on your own, you
can drag and move it around to any
section of the canvas. And then you have many other
things. You can add stroke. I case, if you want
to add stroke, I'd like to add a stroke, and you can add the
color of the stroke. What kind of stroke
do you want to add and what kind of
color are you targeting? Okay. So you can add the color, and then you can change or vary the thickness of the
stroke using this, right? You can just go ahead
and explore it. There's so much to
actually play around with background if you want to add
a background or remove it. So this becomes very clear when you remove
the background. And then the stroke, you can add something
like a red color, and then you can vary
the thickness as well. Stroke, but then we
vary the thickness, will make it a bit thinner. Okay, the red color. You can see right now it
pops out tailor bit. So these are other features. You can add in the
glow effect if you want and you can
vary the features. You can add the shadow effect, if you want to create a shadow. I think it's better
like the default even, and then you have
the cough effect. So so many basic
effects that you can play around with
as regards text, And if you like, you can
extend how long this text, you should stay on the timeline. You can just come over here. Assuming I want it to
start from the beginning, and I want it to play
up to this point. All right? The text should
play up to this point, and I can just come over. Just like the way we do trimming
in the video and audio, you can do the same
also with the text. And if you like this,
you like the preset. You can always copy. And when you want to add
another text from here, you can just pass the something, and then you can specify
how long you want it, and you can specify
the content of it as well by just selecting,
coming over here, and we can say this
coursing the tourism plan. Okay. So you can select. You can select the text, click in, and you can move
it across to any point. So this is how to
use the play one. You have a range
of different kind of text templates from here, which you can easily
on your own select. So this is like an intro or trending one is a
trending text that you can easily easily drag and customize them to your
liking and then make use of. So let's start with
something simple. Let's start with
something like this and drag and drop
it here, right? So you can see once you play it, let's have a preview, United
States for Vs france. So what happens is just
look at the animation, how it comes in and then stays
and then how it goes out. So let's see if we can customize this a bit. You can select. And you see, we have the
one paragraph vices. You can change it from here. If you don't want to remove it, United States and France, or you can put United
States and France, and then you can select. You can see the United
States from here. And just select and make it
maybe United Kingdom, right? 10203 season, we
can call it 2024. Yeah. All right? And then you can have the
next one could be. And so this is Les United
Kingdom, 24, Soles France. The United Kingdom 2024. So you can customize it
however you want it from here. You can select any
section and you can play around with the coloration
right now, it's yellow. You can change it to any
color of your choice, for example, to red. When you click out, you
see no have red color. You can select on this also
to change the coloration. This one, you can select and you can also change the coloration to something like this or any
white color of your choice. So you can just select it
and make it any color. And then you can easily select
and customize anything. The angle, you can vary
the angle with the about. So if you like, you can
vary it accordingly. And let's say we try
something different. So let's drag this
one and drop it here. And then we can bring
our playhead over here, and we can just go ahead and
customize however we want. So let's play this. So we can
say thanks for joining us, so you can select this. And you can see right now
we have this is like. So let's say thanks
for watching. Thanks for watching and goodbye. Example. So this
is the first text. This is the second text. Okay, the two
paragraph and goodbye. Okay, so you can see, thanks
for watching and goodbye. This could be tro.
So let's play. Thanks for watching and goodbye. So take a look at how it comes in and how it
finishes everything. I think this is kind
of professional. So you can bring in different templates, ready made templates, and you can just
add and they are classified accordingly
depending on what you want. These are social media
texts that you can use. For example, in some cases, you may have this and maybe you are doing
the tutorial video. You can add in the button as well as the subscribe button, like and share button. And sometimes you
may want to add the light the like
and subscribe button, okay? Something like this one. Okay, like subscribe and then hit on the
notification button. So this is peculiar
to social media. We can just on our
own, select this one. I can just drag and drop it, and this is what it
does. So see a preview. So your name here. So this is just an intro, or maybe you can put it as a lower fat if
you're interested. So select it and drag it
to the bottom over here. If you want to make a lower fat, you can come over here and drag it to make it smaller
so you can bring it. So you have the basic text editing features by just
selecting this one. You can change the
text inside by selecting this one and maybe
putting doctor Rashid. All right? That's your name. So when this starts playing, let's have a preview of
what is going to play. So you can see doctor
Ahi something like this, and it just pops out. Okay. So it's kind of
nice to use the presets. There are different
ones from social media to Christmas texts, and even titles, we have titles. If you want to add titles, they are classified
according to the titles. So are different titles. These are presets with
animations that come in. And then you have
log if you to adding log texts that you can
enhance, you have the writer. So you have the writer features. So just going to a you're
using the typewriter effect. So you'll be able to
see it very nicely. And then you have the
makeup and outro. If you want to create an outro. Just like the way we have in this one, thanks for watching. You can also see it over here, very many of them, and they come with animations and effects. Okay, take a look at this one. But I think I kind
of like this one, so we can drag and drop it here. Let's select this
one and delete it. And then now we have
this one as our outro. Okay. So let's select it, subscribe to watch more. So let's select it and
go over here and say, can select the text
and select here. You can see subscribe. To watch more is
the second text. So where is the subscriber? So we have subscribe over here. So we can see thanks
for watching. Okay, Thanks for watching, and then we can come over here and see subscribe for more. Subscribe for more. Okay. So you can
see, it's perfect. Lay around with it, so let's
have a preview, you see. Thanks for watching,
subscribe for more. I think it kind of looks nice. So you can just select Thanks for watching,
subscribe for more. So this is a bit about how
to use text and format it however you want it using all of these features that
you have position. And if you don't want to
suffer yourself to create one, You can always use
the preset one. The presets are fantastic depending on what you're
trying to create. You can see many of
them, so many of them, that you can just select
and customize sports, we have technology, we
have love text, and so on. The so many of them,
so you can just select customize and
have it for yourself. So I think this concludes this tutorial on
how to use text, adding text and format
it using Cp cut. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we are
going to look at how to add and format transitions
within Cp cut. So I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching, and
I look forward to seeing you in the next
class. Why? Okay.
26. Capcut on Desktop: Adding Transitions: All right. So in the last class, we talked about how to add and format texts within CAP cut. And in this class, we
are going to talk about how to insert and
format transitions, so that your videos
can look very, very much professional and nice. Now, transitions are
very important because they'll make your videos appear
very, very professional. When you're transiting from
one video clip to another, it doesn't just jump cut
into that particular clip. Let me give you an example
of what I'm talking about. For example, in between
this video of this guy talking and this tourist
video, there's a cut. It just cuts into it, which is highly unprofessional. Let me play it so that
you can understand what I'm trying to
say. It just cuts. Let me play it one
more. It just cuts. If we can insert a transition, it's going to make it look
much better and professional. How do we insert a transition? We can come to the top here. You can see transitions, you can click and there are a number of
transitions from here. You can just start from
overlays to camera, And the beauty
about it is that as you hover over any
of the transition, you'll be able to see what
that transition is going to do to your particular
video that you're working on. So, let's say we
can use this one. We can just drag
and drop it here. And then we'll be
able to see a preview of what you've just
dragged and dropped. So you can see it just
transits up kind of perfectly. So you just transit into this one with some
professional touch. And then you're free to on your own manually extend the length of the transition from here or you can select
the transition, and then you can come to
the properties of here, you can increase or decrease the period or length or duration of the transition
also from here. So you can see right
now we've extended it and the timing is increased. So you can do that
across any two clips. So for example, the next one, maybe I may add
some light effects, kind of like slide sometimes, so you can have slides
of different types here. All right, so this is
the peeling or this one. Sometimes I kind
of like this one. So we can just drag
and drop it here, and we can extend
the length a bit. So let's play and see. So it just transit here. Okay? I think this is very, very much professional and nice. You see it just transits. If you want to reduce the
length of the timing, so it just quickly flips around. So to delete a track
or a transition, you can just select it
anywhere and just delete it. You can select it and
delete it if you want. If you have multiple cuts within the video and you want to apply the same transition to all, can just come over here and
just click and apply to all, and it's going to apply this particular effect
on all of them. So you can see they are
different ones, split, over over it and you'll be able to see what effects
going to have. So let's add in something
or let's create a curt. Let's say we use the letter B, or create a court, want
to add a transition. So let's add this basic one. This one, kind of like it, so we can just insert it, let's see how it's
going to play around. You can see I think this
is much more professional. You can delete this one and try to see if you
can insert that one. Okay. So let's go back
to the selection tool, select this and delete it, and let's see if we can
insert another one. Like this one, also, I
kind of like it because it gives us that kind
of movement look. So let's see. I
think this is it. I just kind of swipe that one and replace it
with the next clip. So you can see, let's
have it one more time. I think this is good.
So it's up to you. You can just go ahead, select on any transition of your choice. You can see them. There
are so many of them. You can just select
and customize it and then use it
on your own effect. I kind of like this
swelling effect. This one. Okay. So we can select this, and we can delete it and we can insert this swelling
effect. So you can see. So from this one, soleC I
think it kind of looks good. So it all boils down to you. Play around with
the transition and see which one you
can customize and which one you can
extend the length and duration of it, and
then you can have it. The presets are fantastic. Just go ahead and explore it. So I think this does it
on this oral on how to add transitions in
CAP cut desktop. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we're going
to look at how to add in audio and format
audio within CAP Cut. Thanks for watching,
and I look forward to seeing you in the
next class. By?
27. Capcut on Desktop: Adding Audio: All right, so in the last class, we talked about how to add transitions within our
Cp court software. And this class, we're going
to talk about how to add music and maybe sound effects to make our videos appear very, very professional and nice. W to add videos,
there are two ways. The first one is you can
import a video on your own. Like we have shown initially
at the beginning of this tutorial where we
imported this audio. You can see these are
different audios. You want to add them
to your timeline, you can just come over
over them and you select and you can add the
track using this plus sign. You can just hit on it, and you can see automatically you've added an audio into
your time line. Now, usually, the
audio is to be very much longer than the content or the footage that you have. In that case, you can move your playhead to any
location of your choice and you try to create a cart to equalize the
length of the audio. Assuming, I want to
create a code here. I can just move my playhead to this point and I can select. The same way you
edit the video is the same way you can do some very basic editing
as well on video. So for example, you can create
a split with the common B. As you can see right now,
I've created this split, and I can select this
section and delete it. Okay. So you can on your own, try to play to hear a preview
of what you have inserted. Oh I think the audio is quite loud and it comes
in with a very loud voice, and I don't want that to happen. I want to have something like a fade in and
then a fade out. So to add in fade
in and fade out, you can hover over at
the edge of the audio. So you can see this white dot, so you can just select it and you can see on
your own when you click, you can drag and you create
a fade in into the audio. Okay. So you can
do the same thing on the fade out as well. You can come to the edge.
Until you see this white dot, you can just click on it. Okay, and just drag and then
until you create a fade out. Now, this is what you have done. You can see that the odio is going to start
from zero and then it's going to grow up
to 100% of the volume. All right, so you
get the message. And the same way
in the die out is going to die out from
100 down to zero. Yeah, that's what
I'm trying to say. Okay. So at the same
way you do with clips, video clips, or
any kind of clips, maybe an image when you
select that particular clip, you can see in the
basic properties, you're able to see all
of its properties here. For example, you can play
out with the volume. Okay, you can increase
or decrease the volume, and you can even
see a preview from the profile over here.
It's up to you now. You can decide to reduce the volume a little bit
because it's a bit higher. One way to increase or
decrease volume is this one. The second way is you hover over the vodo and you see
this white line. You can select it, drag it up to increase the volume and drag it down to
reduce the volume. Now, when you drag it up, you see this red color, which just simply means that
your volume is peaking. Okay so you can
decide to reduce it. So let's bring it
down a little bit, and you can still be able to
see the preview from here. Alternatively, in the same way we inserted the fade
in and fade out. If you don't want to insert it manually from here
using the dot, you can equally
insert it from here. By just selecting the
basic properties, you'll be able to insert a
fade in from here as well. And you can be able to see that it is incorporating
that fade in. Depending on how many
seconds you want, you can still play around and add the fade in and fade out. The same way you can
add the fed out, and you can normalize
the loudness if you want so
that they can have an equal amount of loudness
throughout the clip. In some cases, you
may want some part of the audio to be higher
or to be louder, maybe when you are speaking. You may want that section of
your speaking to go down, maybe the volume should go down. And then at some point
when you're not speaking, you may want the
volume to go up. So in such cases, you
have the option to, for example, let's say we have our audio at this
length at this volume, and you want to reduce
the volume at this point, so you can just You can
select that particular do, do Command B here
to create a cut. And you can go on
to maybe if you want the silence to
continue up to this point, you can do another command B, and you see now we've
created two splits. Now, on your own,
you can manually reduce the length of
this to this point. You can reduce it to this point, and then you can see
that we're going to have that particular
drop in the volume. Yeah. So that's what
I'm trying to say. And at this point,
you're going to have the increase in
the volume suddenly. But in order not to have this sudden increase or sudden
decrease in the volume, you can still come over
and create that fade in. Okay, so you create
that fade in, fade out. So it just simply fades
out to the lower volume. Yeah, that's what
I'm trying to say. And then over here, also, you can try to
create the fade in, you can select, and you can come over here, you
create the fade in. So instead of from
the lower volume to just higher volume, it just gradually gets into it. I think this is much
more professional. So this is about this. And if you have another
recording, for example, if you have recorded something, you can as well, enhance the voice using
this feature, all right? You can enhance the voice. You can do vocal isolation. You can play around with
the channels from here, which maybe we're
going to look at some very basic
things to look into. So this is one way to add
audio into your timeline. The second way is
court usually have an inbuilt music that
are copyright free. You can easily drag and
drop into the timeline. For example, you can come
to audio tab over here and you have a number of audios that you can
play around with. All you need is just to select, or if you have a specific
one that you're looking for, you can always search and
find it over here, right? So in my own case, I have some, and I have some. So sometimes you could search, maybe what type of music
you're looking for. In this case, let's say we're looking for background music, background music and
just hit on search. It's going to go online to
search for the available ones, so you can just choose. For example, I always like this best for video background
music by chill trap. It's a hip hop music. So you can play to have a
preview or you can on your own, just directly insert it. So before you insert, let's
position our playhead, and then we can hit on this
plus sign to just add it. Alternatively, you can start it in case if you want to
add it to your favorite. That's if you are allowed in. Okay. So let's say
at this moment, I want to just add this so
I can hit on the plus side, you can see it's been
added to my timeline. Okay? So this is
actually copyright free, so you can try to see
how you can use it. So then let's mute this one so that we can try this
that we've just added, so we can just try to play. I think that's nice
and that's perfect. But then the sound is
quite loud as well. You get the message. You can
practice by selecting it and coming back to the
basic properties and exchange the fade out, can change the fade out and
exchange the fade in as well. Put in some fade in, and then you can play
around with the volume. Let's make it a bit down because
it's a background music, and we may want to have other things to play at
the same background. So you can see the fading in and the picking up in
the volume is very, very nice and professional. So basically, this is how to add in audio and then
customize it accordingly, play around with its features. And if you want, sometimes
you can add the keyframes. You can add keyframe at some point and then play
around with the volume. So I maybe at this point, I want to increase
up the volume. I can do that with
keyframe as well, so I can hit on this keyframe, and then I can come over here. Now, from this point, I want to increase the volume. So you can see you
are increasing relative to the keyframe
that you've created. So I want this volume
to remain like this, maybe until this
point to this point, then I can add
another key frame. Then let's say from this moment, I want the volume to come down. Okay. So let's add another key frame and then
bring the volume down. So you can see we've just
created an increase and decrease in the volume and so
on. So you get the message. This is just how to add
it using keyframes. So you can play around with the keyframes and you
can on your own manually select an increase or decrease the volume directly. You can see the cuff that
it says just created. So basically, this
is how to bring in audio and play around with it within CAP cut dektop asion. So I think this concludes this
class on how to add audio and customize it and
play around with it features within Capcot. So you can go ahead and
download some footage, bring in some audio or even
try to see how you can use the existing audio that we have within Capcot to
edit your footage, and let's see what
you're going to produce. So thank you so
much for watching. In the next class, we are going to look at the voice changer, how we can use CPC to change
our voice to increase or decrease the play speed
of both audio and video. So we can use that to
play around with it. And then maybe try to
see how we can reduce the noises in the voice or to enhance the
voice in general. So I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching,
and I look forward to seeing you in the
next class, right?
28. Capcut on Desktop: Changing Clip Speed: All right. So in the last class,
we talked about how to import and manage
audio within CP cut. We talked about the
different types of audio that we have
the ones in built within CP Cut and the
ones that you can import from your system
or from any device, and you can play around
with them from here. And in this class, we're
going to talk about how to add a recording that we've
done outside of Cap cut, how can we import the audio, and then try to see how we can enhance the audio as well as see how we can add speed up
or reduce the speed of clip. Within Cp cod and
try to see how we can change the voice,
using different features. Capcod offers this opportunity for you to change your voice, using different
kind of features. So to record something
outside of cap cod. I've used this
software audacity. I've recorded something with it. I've recorded this,
so we're just going to take in this. So
let's export this. And, so let me just export this. Come to file export as MP three and just define the location where I want
to save it just here. So I can call it recording one. And just go ahead and save
it and say, Okay to this. Now I've exported
this in MP three, so I can come back
to my cup cot. Go to the media. You can import media.
You can go to all. Maybe I want to
import it under this. Can you just right click and I can come to import
directly from here. Go to my cap cod, desktop and see it over
here recording one, select it and import. Now, if imported
this, we can just select and drag and drop
it into the time line. All right, so let me
bring it here because this first st lane
has been muted. So let's hear a preview
of what you have created. Hello, and welcome to my child. This is just a test of
audio that we want to use in CAP court just for
demonstration purpose. And that's perfect, and it sounds exactly how I wanted it. Now, let's select it and come to the basic
editing over here. You have a number of
things that you can do. For example, I want to
normalize it because I've just normalized the
profile of the sound. And then I want to
enhance the voice. And now the enhancement will
come in different forms. You can do noise cleanup, and you can add other things. Okay, reduce noise and so on. So let's say let
me hear this after selecting noise cleanup
and at the 75%, whether it has
improved a little bit. Hello, and welcome to my child. This is just a test
of that we want to use in CAP courts for
demonstration purpose. I think that's
perfect. It has made a very good reduction
in the noise, and it has enhanced
the voice in general. So let's reduce
the number unlets hear what it's going to be. Hello, and My child, this is just a test of
audio that we want to use in CPC's for
demonstration purpose. I think this is good. If
you want to go on and enhance reduce the noise
more, you can select this. You can see noise
is reduced already, so you can just go back and
let's play one more time to. Welcome to my child. This is just a test
of audio that we want to use in CAP court.
That's for demonstration. I think this is very good. And one thing I
like with Cap cut is that it reduces the
noise without actually affecting the quality of the voice of the recording
that you have presented to it. So that's how to play
around with the features. If you want to add
in vocal isolation, you can equally select and play around with
it also from here. Okay. You have the
vocal isolation. You can remove the vocal and you can and welcome to my child. This is just a test of I
think I don't like it, so I can just keep it
without the vocal isolation. Channel, this is just
a test of. Okay. So this is basically how to play around
with the features. Now, over here, you have
the voice changer, right? So if you want to add
this is the original one. If you want to change it, you can change it using
different features. As you click on, you can just see
let's say this deep. Hello, and welcome to my child. This is test of the cup. I think this is
too deep, but you can control the pitch from here. You can try to reduce the deepness and the timber over here unless here I
approve you one more time. Hello and welcome to my child. This is just a test. I think this is deep and it
completely change my voice. If you don't know that it's me, you will not even
know because it has kind of created the change, but it has reduced the deepness. So the whole idea is for you
to understand that you can change the voice and you can play around with the
controls over here. You can put even keyframes
to enhance or to increase or decrease
the deepness of the voice at some instance. Okay. So this is voice changer. You can go ahead and
try with all of this. And the last thing we will
look at is the speed. You can increase the
speed also from here. Let's go back to the
voice changer and go back to original because I don't
want to change the voice. Welcome to my child.
This is just a test. Okay. So let's go to speed. Speed is your ability to
increase the speed of the clip, so you speak faster, or you can slow it down, so you speak slower. So let's have it an
increase because the normal one is the 1.0, which is the normal speed. If you make it 2.0, it's going to shorten
the clip that we've just shown seen over here, the clip had been shortened, which means I'm going
to speed pretty fast. I think this is too fast.
So let's say 1.5 is good, 1.5, so let's hear 1.5. Oh, I. This is a test of. If you want to reduce the length also to speak more
of a slow motion, you can come down to maybe 0.5. Hello I'm welcome to my channel. So you get the message.
The whole idea is to be able to incorporate
different kind of things, whether you want to speak longer or you want
to speak lower. Depending on your
choice, you can go ahead and play around with
this feature, right? You can play out the speeding of the clip even on
video selection. All you need is just to select the video clip and you
can come to the speed over here and you can
increase it also to 2.0, which will reduce
the size and then make the character
play pretty fast. So in this case, you can see it's going to play pretty fast, the feature that we
have in the beach. Okay. So you can use it on any depending on whether
it's a video or an audio, you can increase or decrease
the speed accordingly. Okay, so I hope you
enjoy this video. This concludes the tutorial
on how to play around with the O enhance the voice
or audio in general. In the next class,
we are going to look at how to add basic coloration to our footage to enhance the loops of what
we have as videos. So the next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing
you in the next class. Bye.
29. Capcut on Desktop: Adding Colouration: All right. So in this class, we're going to learn how to add basic coloration on our clip and see how we can enhance the
looks of our video in CAP cut. So let's start with this
footage that we have. This is a bit of a flat footage that I've imported at the
beginning of this video. So let me create a cut here so that we can have
before and after, so we can understand the
impact of what you are doing. So we can select this
and do common here so we can have this section of the
clip to showcase the before, and we're going to add
this section of the clip. So selecting the clip
that we're going to edit or we're going to add
the basic coloration on. We can select it and come to the properties panel over here, and then you can go ahead and come to adjustments over here. So from adjustments,
you can see there are three different
major things to touch. The first one is the basic color editing color correction, which you can do,
Whether you have a lot, if you have a lot, you
can easily bring it in. So for beginners,
lots are just like preset color templates
that you can easily drag and drop and it
changes your color directly without you having to suffer yourself playing around
with the temperature, the saturation, and so on. With lots, you can just
directly copy and pest and you can just reduce or increase
the intensity as it comes. So in this case, we're
not going to use lots. We're going to use basic
color adjustments. So in the adjustment, you
have this much option. You can play out
the temperature. For example, I can increase
the temperature a bit. I can come down here the tint, I may just reduce
it a little bit, and then the saturation, I can up the saturation
for this much. Okay. So you can
see, we are just creating a little
bit of increase. It's just very little,
but then later you see the bigger
impact, the exposure. I want to reduce the exposure
a little bit down here. I think negative six is good. The contrast, I want to increase the
contrast a little bit, and then the highlights. The highlights, I mean increase. So I'm making it
very much clearer. Let's move it a
little bit so that we can be able to see
what we're creating. Okay. So you can
see the shadows. I can just bring down the
shadows a bit so that I can have more of the quality
of the video coming out. The brilliant. I mean just
keep it increase a little bit. So you can see it's now
very, very, very visible. Now, down here, you
can see the sharpness. I do increase the
sharpness a little bit, and then the particles are don't touch the fading a don't touch. I don't use Vnet. But in cases, if you want
to be using vignette, you can always be using
Vignet by just selecting, and you can see we've
added some vignet You can come down
here to reduce. And then you can see
you now have the gnet. But in most cases,
I don't touch on grant because it's
not something I use. So this is the basic one. This is just very basic
editing in the color. You can enable this
protect skin tone to enhance the skin tones if you're dealing with
skin tones directly. You can try to see
the before and after. So let's click back, so we
can see this is the before, what we have at the before, and then this is
what we have after. You can see the
before and the after, and you confirm that there's a little bit of an
improvement on this, right? To go further with
this improvement, I can come to the H cell, and usually I stay with the red color and play around
with the saturation a bit, can add some little
of the saturation, and then the lightness, also I add a little bit. I don't touch on most
of these colors. So the next one I
go to is the cuffs. The cuffs is very easy and it's very nice.
You can select. Usually, we can have
different kind of curve. You can see the luma
curve, the red curve, the green curve, depending
on what you want to a hands. In my case, I usually do
everything on the luma, so you can create three dots. I usually create
three dots because my target is to
create an S shape. Okay, so you can have
these three dots. So let's come back here and try to increase
this a little bit. If you go up, you can
see you are going to have more of the lighting. And if you calm
down, you're going to have too much of the blacks. Okay. So you have to
calm down a little bit, and then over here a
little bit of the light. Don't make it too much. If not, it's going to kind of
affect what you're doing. All right? So let's
ring this down. So the whole idea is just to
have a bit of an S shape. So you can have it in
a bit of an S shape. At the top, you increase, and then at the
bottom, we reduce. Okay, so you have
this much S shape. Okay. So we can
come down and see the before and after to
appreciate what we have done. This is the before,
and this is the after. And you can confirm to you that there's much improvement
in what we have here. Okay. So it's up to
you to just go on and try to see how you can play around with the
different features, see what and what you can touch, but then pay
attention to what is happening at the
Canvas so that you can be able to know how much of a change you're adding
to your videos. Okay, so, but basically,
at beginner level, this is how to add
in or play around with the coloration
within cap cut. Okay. I hope you
enjoy this video. In the next class, we're
going to look at how to use cp cuts to remove the background
of an image or a video. Okay. So on the next time,
thanks for watching, and I look forward to seeing you in the next class, right?
30. Capcut on Desktop: Removing Image and Video Backgrounds: In this class, we're going
to learn how to remove background in both videos
and images within CP court. Okay. So regardless of what
kind of color you have, CP court does a good job in removing the background
of your subject. So in some cases,
in some software, you have to have solemnly
a green background, okay? So you have to have a
green background behind you in order for you to
have a fantastic removal. But in Cap court, I think Capt
is doing a very good job. Even without a green screen. I can still give you
a reasonable result. So to start with,
let me open one of my video footage that
I've just downloaded. For example, this one, you can just add it, drag
it and drop it here. You can use any of your
footage also if you want. You can just go ahead
just to follow along. You can drag and move
it to somewhere. So this is this butterfly
with the green background. So when you select the footage, the default is you come
to a video over here, and you can see remove
background over here as an icon. So you click on this,
and then you have two methods to remove
this background. The first one is you can
do chroma key removal, which you have to select a particular color in this
case that you want to remove. I think this is
doing the best job because this one has some
perfection in the removal, and you can increase or decrease the intensity of what
has been removed. So let's try with
the first option. The second option is
the auto removal, which I think has no control. It does just the
removing automatically. So let's start with the first
case, which is the Cronick. You can select on Cronk. And then over here, you have to pick the color that
you want to remove, and then you can
adjust accordingly, using this intensity and shadow. So let's click on this Clopia, can just click and then select anywhere within the subject. So let's say I'm
selecting this point, and this is a subject
now that I want to remove from this
video background. So can go ahead and
play around with the intensity from here
with just a single click. You can see just a
single movement. It has done the magic of removing the entire
background. All right. So you can try to play with the video and see what happens. So you can see, I
think it has done a fantastic job in removing the background
of the subject. So this is the first option. In cases when you have or
you face any more challenge, you can clear with
the intensity, either increase or decrease
the shadow or the ab. So this is the first method. Let's try the second method, which is the auto removal. So let's do this. And let's
check the chromic Key. And then this time around, we're going to do with
the auto removal. So we can click on
the auto removal, and you can see right now it has removed some portion of
the subject as well. You can see it is giving
us a very bad result. So to me, I prefer to use the Cromakin because you
have a lot of control over the subject as
regards what is being removed and what is being
kept. So let's check this. The second thing
is we can try on any subject without
even green background. So let's try on this. Let's say we have these guys and we want to remove
the background. We can select. So let's
try your two method. Select and come to video
properties, remove background. Let's try with the chromic Key
in first so we can select. But in this case, the
color is not uniform. This is where we're going to face another problem as well. So we can select the
colopa and we want to remove this and
once you increase, you can see it's going to
do a very, very bad job. So depending on the situation, you can go ahead and select whether to go with the
colopea But advisably, if you have a
uniform background, that's when you
can use the Clopia but you don't have a
uniform background. It's better to use
the auto removal. So let's use the auto
removal in this case. Let's one check the chroma Key and let's use the auto removal, anything, it has done
a fantastic job. So you can see now
with the auto removal, it has just given us very clear and it has removed the
ground very perfectly. So this is how it
is done in videos, depending on what kind
of video you have, whether it has a background or it doesn't have a background. Another thing we can do, let's apply the same
feature on images. So let's go back to this, and then we can go to images. Let's select these guys, and we can drag and drop
this. Let's play here. So what I want now is I want
to remove the background. But again, in this case, I don't have a unique
or uniform background, so advisably, I can
use the auto removal. So while selecting, come
to remove background, and then you can come to
the auto removal over here. And I think you can
see that directly, it does a good job by just removing the
background directly. Right? So this is another way. And one last thing that I want to show us is that
we can actually replace the background that we have the subject that we have with another background just to confirm that the background
had been removed. So let's say in this case,
we have this background. We can just drag and
drop it behind this, and we're going to have this, let's move this above. So we have this behind. So they appear as they are in this
particular room. You see? So the subject now appear in this room
together with the kids. See, very, very nice. So this is a very, very
fantastic feature. They appear as if they
are in this room. And the same way
with the other guys, you can take the background
and move it here, for example, and then you can just move the subject
up a little bit. Okay? So let's bring it up. To here and you can see
right now it is appearing as if the three of them are actually talking in this room. This is basically how to
remove the background of both images and videos in cap court and probably replace it with
another background, so it looks much
more professional. So you can go ahead and give it a try depending
on what you want to remove the background
or whether it has a uniform background or it
has no uniform background. You can just go ahead
and play around with the different features
using the chromk if it has a uniform
background or using the auto removal if it doesn't
have a uniform background. I hope you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching,
and I look forward to meeting you in
the next class. Bye.
31. Capcut on Desktop: Adding Stickers, Effects and Filters: All right. So in
this class, we're going to learn how to add in stickers effects and
filters, within Cp cut. If you remember in
the previous classes, there's one we
covered how to add adjustments or color correction or adding color in general, where we talked about
how to add lots. Okay. So lots are just
presets that we have within Cp cut that you can use to change the view of your fetches. So for example, let's look at how to add lots a little bit. I have a lot that I just
wanted to show you how to add. You can come to adjustments, and this time around,
you come to lots. Okay, so you can come
to port You can just go ahead and maybe search
for lots from here. I've just downloaded it. And then I have to
maybe on zip it. Let's go to my downloads
and let's click here. So you can it's on zipped
so you can come over here, free cinematic lots,
you can come over here. You can just select on just for a try to see how it's going to. So this is one of the
lots that we have. I want to add it to this one, so I can just drag
and drop it Nick see or you can hit
on the plot sign, and you see it's been
added to my video. So in form of adjustment. So you can see what it
has given to my video. So this is it. You're
free to go ahead and change the intensity
of the lots from here. In case, if you notice that it has given me too
much of a green, I can remove or I can
go ahead and play with the other green
feature from here, right? So you can just kind of adjust. But the whole idea is for you to get the
picture that you can add lots and you can control the different
lots that you have. You can add more and import as many as
you want from here. Now, in this class,
we'll concentrate basically on adding stickers. Stickers are very useful also. You can just come to
stickers and you have a number of them starting
from the trending ones. You can see quite a number of trending stickers over here, depending on what
you're creating, you can just go ahead
and drag and drop any. So if you hover over and you discover you have any
one that you like, you can just for
emphasis, for example, I want them to show
that to understand and this is what they are
all concentrating on, which is this part.
I can download this. All right. And once
you c can download, you can just go ahead and
add it to your time line. So it becomes part
of your footage. I guess you can add
it directly here. You see as you hover over, you'll be able to see
the effect it's going to have on your video.
So let's drag it. Maybe let's say you want
it to cover this extent. Okay? So just for
demonstration purpose. While selecting, you can decide
to let with the scaling. You can scale it to
be something small, because I just wanted to highlight the part
that they're holding. You can just drag manually and showcase that this
is what they're holding. So this is just the effect
of carving stickers. So let's play this
from the beginning. All right. So they can be very, very helpful when you are
trying to demonstrate a particular certain concept
during your editing process. You can add them. There
are many of them. You can see even the
common form of OGs. And if you have any kind of emphasis that you
want to showcase, you can very much use
them directly from here. You can see different types. Ordinary just to
give it a click and just download the one that
you're going to download. You can see this one is very, very useful depending on what
you're trying to create. And it goes across this Christmas if you are
within a Christmas period. You can be able to use any
of them for your content, and they give out very,
very professional lo. So that's sticks. We
have effects, also, if you have any of effect
that you want to add to a specific track or
to a specific clip. So you can see this
one, for example. There are different
different effects. As you hover over the effect, you'll be able to
see what effect it's going to have
on your video. So let's say for this
one, for example, it's going to give us
this happy birthday sign, right on our video. So when you select this, you just download it and
you can click on this, and it's just going to add this very Christmas
collage effect. All right, so you should
be able to see the effect. Okay. I think that's kind of cool because it
shows the Christmas effect, and I think you get the message. That's how to add an effect. Let's try to add
one more so that we can at least be able to
picture what we are doing. Like this love sign, you can easily download it, and then you can just All right, so let's click on this
to add it plus sign. Again, you've just added it and let's see what
it does to our clip. I think that's fantastic. And again, you can play around
with most of the features. If you select, you
can change or tweak some of the features directly
from here, you can rotate. You can increase or decrease
the sizing of the love sign. You can increase or decrease
the size from here, and then you can increase or decrease the speed
in which it occurs. So you can just go ahead
and play around with it. And this strength, you can play around with most
of these features, and you can keyframe them as
well if you're interested. All right? So that's
about effect. So let's look at filters. Filters, again, they are
kind of presets that you can easily select and
apply to a given clip. For example, let's say in
our case that we have this, let's kind to try
to free up all of these so that we can
have some space. I always like to use this
clip because it's very flat. You can always In filters, it's just like a
preset of color. Depending, you can just
check and see which of the colors gives you what
you are trying to do. You can see this is food color, and then you can
see many of them, these are movies related. Once you just click and you
download a particular one, you can just go
ahead and with just one click and add
it to your video. And then maybe let's say we'll
try something like this. And you can see with
just that click, it has added some effect to it and you can come
to the plus sign. If this is what you want,
because with the downloading, you'll be able to
see the preview of what it's going to
do to your video. I think at this moment,
this is not what I want, so we can just
search for something simpler that can actually depict what we are
trying to add. So let's say something
that could make it lighter and more
colorful, right? So let's just calm down a little bit or we can go
up to search for one more. Let's say this one. I think it's kind of cool. So let's see. Yeah, so I think this is cool, but we just have to
make some adjustments to it so we can just
hit on the plus sign. You can see now we've added it. Now, it's up to you to play around with the
intensity, all right? While selecting the
effect or the filter, you can come to the
properties panel over here and exceed
the effect right now. It is at 100%. You can just tricky to reduce the effect that it's going
to have on your video. I think this is a bit cool. But usually, I'm not a fan
of filters because they are strong presets that you can actually hardly
control, okay? Most of the effects that
you may have are not going to be perfectly because depending on the kind
of clip that you have, I'd rather kind of use the adjustments to change
my coloration and so on. I prefer to use it manually. So you can check
around depending if you like any
that you've seen, can easily study it also and make it part
of your favorites. So let's try to see this one. So let's select this
and delete this. I think I kind of
prefer this one, so we'll let it on the
plus sign to add it. Okay. So right now you
can see it is too dark, but even though the
color is matured, but it's too dark and it makes video nearly
black and white. You can reduce the
intensity from here so you can have a little
bit of the effect on it, and I think it kind of
looks quite professional. All right. So you
can just go ahead. Play around with it,
however you want it. I think this concludes this
tutorial on how to kind of use TCAs effects and
filters on your video. Just go ahead and give it a try, take any of your clips and try to see how you
can play with some of these filters and add
in different kind of effects depending on the message that you're
trying to create, and you can share what
you are working on on this platform so
we can just review. Even though at the end,
we're going to carry out a bit of a simple
project to demonstrate how some of these features
and skills that we've learned can be applied
to edit a simple video. So I hope this helps you, and this concludes his tutorial on how to add all
of these features. So thanks for watching,
and I look forward to seeing you in my
next class. Bye.
32. Capcut on Desktop: Adding Captions: Okay. So in the last class, we talked about how to
add in different cans. Stickers effects and
filters within cap cut. And in this class, we're
going to talk about how to add in different
cannel captions, both locally generated locally imported and
automatically generated. Now, in this case, I want to use this sample recording that I've recorded with my microphone, from the audacity
software that we've used. And welcome to my child. This simple introduction and some little voice over
that I made with audacity. I want to use it as my source to just generate
the captions on it. So let's start with
the local one. If you have generated the
caption, maybe somewhere, you have it
documented somewhere, you can all the way come
to the text over here, and you can see local
captions over here. So if you have it saved in
dot SRT or dot LRC format, you can just go ahead
and say import, and you can have git Wherever
you have this file saved, and you can just
import it directly and manage it within this media. Okay. So it's very easy, and it can easily help you
to synchronize across, the clip that you're working on. But in this tutorial, we're going to focus
mostly on auto caption. Okay? So we have selected this clip that has
some words because most of these ones
that we have don't have any words in except
background music. But this one has specific words. So that's why we selected, and then we can come
to auto caption. Now, once you're
in auto caption, you can select the language that you want to translate to. There are multiple languages
that you can easily translate to depending on strictly what you are
trying to create. Now, in this case,
we're going to focus mainly on
English language. All right? Now, you can select
to clear current captions. If you have some
captions available, you can easily click on
this to clear all of them. But in this case, I don't
have any captions generated, and I can just go ahead, select the clip that I want to
generate the captions on. I can just go ahead and see
generate and just give you some seconds and
it's going to do the captions and
just automatically, transcribed to generate
the captions for me. You can see now within very few seconds it has
generated the captions. Now, it has not only
generated the captions. It has given us
all the properties this much properties
that you can change as regards
the phone style, and all of the text editing features regarding
this very captions. You can see it has created a specific track
for the captions. Let's try to play to see how fantastic this
could be as regards accuracy and how it's been
generated. So let's hear this. Hello and welcome to my child. This is just a test
of audio that we want to use in cap court for
demonstration purpose. I think this is fantastic. It has helped us to generate the captions very,
very perfectly. Now, you have the
option to select any of them and you can come
over here to basic text. You can change the font style. If you have any font
style that you're targeting, you can
easily change it. The sizing, the font size, you can easily select
and change it. Also from here, you can just go ahead and select
and you can change the sizing according I kind of like the sizing that
they have here. And if you have any position, any pattern that you want, maybe you could bold,
you could utilize, you can underline,
you can put in all of these features if
you're interested. And then the sing, you
can use uppercase, lowercase, and you can change the coloration to any
color of your choice. But based on what we have, for the fact that we are
working on a blank background, which is black, I think white
color is fantastic here. You can change the
character number and lines, and then the alignments, you can align left right and center. I think center is perfect. And then the preset styles, you can check from the
available preset styles. Okay, depending on what kind of presets you want to work on. So the yellow color also is
good on black, can change, and you can scale it up or
down using the scale feature, scale it up or down. And the position, you can
manually on your own, change the x and y, as well as the rotation. You can rotate to any
angle of your choice, as well as the pattern. So you can change
you can align left right center using some
of these features, right? And then over here, you have the blending feature,
the opacity. If you want to add in stroke, you can just click to add stroke and change the
coloration of the stroke, maybe it is something
like a white color, and you see right now, and you can play around with the intensity of the
stroke also from here. Okay. You have so much control as regards the
properties of the text. If you want to add
a background, also, you can add background and change the coloration
of the background. However you want
it, so much control that you can do if you want
to have the glow effect, the shadow effect, and so on. So you can just go
ahead and customize and play around with
this as you so wish, depending on what
you're creating. You can just go ahead and
generate your captions with it. So I think this concludes this tutorial on how
to add captions, be it manually or automatically
generated within cap cut. Hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching, and I
look forward to seeing you in the next class, by? Okay.
33. Capcut on Desktop: Sample Video Editing: All right. So in this class, we are going to learn how to do some basic editing from scratch, some video editing from
scratch using Cap cut, so starting from scratch. After this, maybe we can just start by creating
a simple project. We can restart everything. So to create a simple project,
I restart everything, you can come to the file over here and you can
see a new project, and then you can say, yes, I ore you want to
create a new project. I can see k to this.
And then everything is now going to kick start
back to the fresh page. Okay, so this is a
fresh cup coord page. Now, like you've
explained earlier on, the first thing you
need to do is to create a name for the project. So, let's say we give it a name sample editing from scratch. So the original path, you
can see it from here. This is the name, and this is the path that you've defined. This is where you're
going to find it. It's going to be under this
project this location. Okay. So the first thing
we need to do like we've explained earlier to
start by importing media, you can be on the
import tab and you can just go ahead and
click on this Import. You can navigate to wherever
you have your media. For example, in this case, I have this media stored here. I have this clips and I can just select all of them and
just click on import, and they're going to be imported in my media being over here. The first thing I
need to do is this is just like a mini video
that I want to create. I can on my own,
select the area. You can double click to
start playing on the panel so you can define the area
that you want to carry out. So at this point, I want
to see from this point, I can just hit on the letter
e to define the point, and then I can allow you to keep playing maybe up to somewhere around here and I can just hit on the letter
to define my outpoint. And this is what I want,
so I can just click on this plus sign to
add it to my timeline. So I have this as an intro
sort of into my video. And then I want to add these guys because they
are kind of swimming, so I want to add everything, and I can just drag
and drop them here. So demonstrating that from
this view of the overall sea, then these guys just
suddenly jump into the water and having very good
view underneath the ocean. You can see what they're seeing. But then I want to
add another feature. For example, this video. I want to add it at this point, so I can just click to
add and you can see, I've added this video, and I don't want it
to be this much long, so I can use the command
B to create a court here. I just wanted to demonstrate
the view of this fish. All right, so I think
up to this point is, okay, so I can select
this and delete. If I have any other
one, for example, I want to showcase this. I can just heal on
this plus sign, and I don't want to
showcase everything also. Just the path that you can just show that this guy is
swimming peacefully and I can just heat on the common be to
create a cut or I can come over here and it on this to Zoom to
fit in the timeline. So I can on my own,
come to the edge, I can drag this up to my clip. Now I've created a
trim up to this point. Okay? So I think this brings me all the footage that
I want into this. You can see demonstratively
I've added a number of clips, and I think the last one
could be this one just to finish up the demonstration
because in this illustration, I may want to show you how
to add coloration into this. And this is kind of flat. So Let's say I go to this point, I create common B and then select this
section and delete. So I have everything I
needed on this point. The only thing I need
to add is right now, I need to add a
transition because they easily cut into each other. I need to add a transition,
very fantastic transition. You can see this
one, they just cut into this one, which
is what I don't want. So I can go ahead and come
to transitions over here. I can check on the different
transitions that we have. You can see as you've explained in terms of adding transition, you can just hover over to be able to see what
you're going to add. So in my own case, I always
like this slide transition. I don't want this blow. The basic one, you can see these are just
simple transitions, the flip transition, and you can use any
of them actually. But in my own selection,
I kind of like this, so let's kind of add it, drag it, and drop it here. We can see we say, to this, and let's see how good
it's going to be. Yeah, I think this is good. So let's look at another one. Maybe we can add
this one, this one. You can just drag
and drop it here. Again, you can
extend the length of the transition also by selecting
or by coming over here. Like we've explained, you
can extend the length, select, and you can extend
the length of fliacy. I just perfectly and professionally transit
to the next clip. So we can have another one, so we can add multiple. For example, in this case, I don't want glitch, distortion. Yeah, we can try distortion. I don't know if you like it. Distortion is good sometimes. So let's try to add
something like this. Let's see. So quickly distort
into the other image. You see. I think this is fine. So you can add as
many as you want. This one, this vintage. You can use it also. So let's see this one. I
think we can add this. So now we have finished
adding all of our transition. The next thing is to
make more many to this, let's add a background
music to this. Okay, we'll bring it
to the beginning, and then we can go to audio
and check the library. Sound effects, if you want
to have sound effects, and so on, you can just go
ahead and select any of them. In my own case, I want to add just a background music. Okay. So background and don't enter, and it's just going
to search for me and bring out a background. And one of the ones I like is this basefu
video background. Like we've explained earlier,
you can just start it. We can hit on this
plot sign to just directly add it to
your video clip. So we can come over
here because I wanted to end here, select this, use Control B to create a cut and select the
other side and delete. Now, one thing that
I have explained, which I'm going
to use this also, because the sound
is very, very loud. I want to introduce the
fade in and fade out. So we can select on the clip, come to the properties. And you can add the first one is we can reduce the volume. If you want, you can
reduce the volume. And then we can add
in the fade in. You can see it from the
left hand side here, and we can add the fade out as well from the
right hand side. In most cases, I want
them to come together. So you can just hear the
overview how it starts from zero and grows up to 200 and then goes from 100 down to zero. Yeah, I think this is okay. Only that I need to
lower the volume a little bit because
it's a bit too loud, so bring it down a little bit. Okay, so we've added
our background music, and then the next
thing is we have to add some text to just
demonstrate something. So let's go back
here, come to text. And again, we have a number of texts that we can have
different kind of effects. We can check out
from the template. So if you have any template, any specific one that
you're targeting, you can just easily
use it to add. So let's say we just want to demonstrate something
like welcome to Lanka. Welcome to the
Cameroon Highland. Okay? Cameroon Highland is one of the islands that
I've visited also. So let's select any of the text. Assuming we want to use
this one. All right. So you can just directly
select to add it. I think I kind of
like this because of the coloration and the input. So 30 minutes, so
let's welcome to here. And then over here, cardio heat. So let's see Cameroon highlands. Okay. So down here, we can just put in
a MaltiaF example. All right. So let's hear this, and we can extend how
long this is going to be. Let's say it's just
going to be from the beginning to probably
up to this point. So let's split. All right. So it then transits to this. So let's put in some texts, maybe showcase enjoying the
beach or something like that. So let's select any. Let's say we go
something like this. We can hover over it
to see the effect. So let's say we go
something like this, select this Okay, so we
can select this add it. Select this and add, and then we can just give it some concepts. So let's drag up to here, so we can on your own, if you don't want to see this,
you can select and delete. I can select unless I
remove this section, probably because
I don't want it, and maybe I just want to
have this one and I can just enjoying the beach. Okay, so we can have it. Something like this can play. Okay, let's have a preview
of what we've just done. I think that's good,
and it looks perfect. We can add another
one if you want. We can copy this
copy and paste it, and then over here, we can just come over here
and enjoy the adventure. So the view, for example,
of the underneath. View of the
underneath to you can let's say up to this
point to this point. We can just try to
have a preview again. So you get the message. So this is what we want to
just keep adding, and you can keep adding
whatever you want, so you can see come over here. And if you want at this point, you can use plain text. You can come back here
and put in effect. If you want to use any effect, you can just go to the basic Oh, let's say we added
text directly. You can just select,
click on add the text, and we can just select and
say, thank you for watching. Oh, thank you for coming. We can just select and
reduce the sizing, or you can do that
manually from here, select and drag it here
or you can put it here. Just for visibility sake. So you can see right now
we've added some texts. Yeah, I think this is perfect. Now the next thing is we can add some coloration to our footage
so that it just pops out. We're adding
something, and we're making some meaning
to our video. So let's say this last one, we can select it and can come
all the way to adjustments. If you have a lot, you can go ahead and add a lot directly. Like we've explained,
you can add this lot, or if you have any one
that you can import, and just go ahead
and import your lot directly and then use
it on this video. For the purpose of
this, I just want to use my own normal adjustment. So I can come over
here to adjustment, and I can come to the
tempt adjustment. I can increase the
temperature a little bit. The tint I reduce a little. I's go to the saturation and increase the
saturation a bit. And then the exposure, I can lower the exposure, so it becomes a bit darker, increase the contrast
a little bit. So you can be able to see even the highlights can increase the highlight so
you can see clearly the shadows lower it a bit. So you can see the
clerity of the video. It's popping out a little bit. The brilliant I can
reduce if you want. Make it too much, it
brightens out too much. So I think a little
bit of this is okay. You can sharpen a bit. So everything, all of the
components become sharper, and the particles, I
don't want to add much. The fading and the vignet
I don't add much here. So go to the HSL, which I don't touch
much here also, except for the tint, as
well as the saturation. I add a little bit of the
saturation from here. Go to the curves, which
is the last part. So we create like
I've explained, the other one, we have
like three to four points, so we can create a little bit of an S shape to select this and bring
this down a little bit. And you can see now the color is popping out
very very clearly. You can see. You can just
raise this a little bit. So the key thing is to have
a little bit of an S shape, which we have just created. So I think this is very
much okay to what I want. So you can go ahead and play
with the other features. But for now, I think the are
the basic ones that I want. If you want to add
any recording, if you want to have any
recording in the background, can go ahead and
add it directly. But at this point,
at this moment, I don't want to add anything. These are the basic
things I want to add. You can go ahead and experiment
with your own and see what and what you can
add for your project. So I think this concludes the tutorial on
how to just create a project and then add in some of these basic things that we've learned
through this course. Okay? In the next class, we are going to look
at how to export this creation in
different formats within CAP cod. All right? So I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching,
and I look forward to seeing you in the
next class, right?
34. Capcut on Desktop: Adding Keyframes: All right. So in this class, we're going to learn how
to add in key frames. Key frames are very, very important to showcase
some part of a clip or to show emphasis on
some part and maybe zoom in and zoom out in CAP cod. So you can use it in videos
as well as in audios, and sometimes you can as
well use it on images, depending on what
you're trying to create So let's start
with a video and see how we can use
keyframes to highlight some things or to play around
with some setting features. So let's move this playhead to somewhere close
to this point. Assuming, this is now
just directly flat, and maybe I want to
showcase some point. So let's move this to the
beginning of this clip. You can notice that
it's been cut. So let's say from
the beginning here, I wanted to start by
selecting the clip, we have its
properties over here. The factor I want to use
is the scale factor. So at this point, I want
to just add a keyframe to show that I want the clip
to stay at this point, and then I can move it to any location of my
choice from here. And let's say from this point, I can add another
key frame easily. So if I move a little bit, that's when I wanted
to have an action. So just a little bit,
maybe one or two frames. I can maybe zoom into something. I want to zoom into this path, so I can just zoom in. And on my own, I can
use my hand to just showcase that this is the
iPad I want to highlight. And then maybe after this, I wanted to remain showing
the iPad until this moment. Okay, I can continue to
demonstrate the use of the iPad, so I can add another
key frame, right? So it's going to remain showing the keypad
up to this point. And then from here, I can
just make one small move, maybe one or two key frames and then I can add
another key frame, and probably, bring
this one to 100. Okay. So when I double click, it goes back to 100, so I can just resize it and
make sure it clips like this. Okay. So what I'm
trying to say is, well, what I've just done
is that I started from zero when there's
no scaling up, and then I moved to this point
where it remains at 100, then it zooms in to show the pad and then up to this point
and then it zooms out. So let's have a preview
of what I've just done. Okay, so that's perfect. Okay, so you can see that this is one of the powers
of zooming in and out, you can zoom into any
position of your choice. You can see right now, I can select this because
what I have just done, I didn't show the pad clearly. You can see my point is
I want to show this. So and then up to this point, I want to show this
up to this point. Okay, so this is my point. I just want to show this up
to this point. All right? So can check you see the zooming in at this point is
what? Let's see. At this point, the
zooming in is 214, and I want it to
continue up here to 214 and then it start
zooming in back to 200. Okay, back to 100. So from here, it zooms
to 100. All right. So let's see from here. From here, I can create
another key frame over here. So let's add another key frame, and then we can now zoom
it back to 100 214-100. Okay? So you can see
right now it has zoomed back and then we can just
adjust it to this point, right? So right now it's said. So when we try to play
this from the beginning, let's see what I have just done. Okay, I think, let me
do it one more time. Let me start from fresh so that we can demonstrate
it clearly. Okay. So at the beginning, I
add a keyframe here. I add one key frame and then moving up to this point
and add another key frame. Add another key frame, but then this time around, I kind of move it. Okay. So, let's say, move it to one frame,
add another key frame. And I just move
it at this point. So let me zoom in at this point. I zoom up to this moment. All right, so you can see the x and y at the positions
have changed. But then this is my focus. I just want to
highlight this pad, and then we can move
probably up to this point, still showcasing the pad, and I add another key
frame from here as well. And then from there, I just move one or two frames and
add another key frame. But then this time around, I'm going to zoom back. Okay, I'm going to zoom back,
including the position. Okay, the x and y position. So let's go back to 100. So let's go back to 100. And then I can move this. I can move this up to here. Okay. So I think the position
is now fixed. All right. So let's try to see how we
can play from the beginning. Okay. So you get the message. It's just to showcase that
we have used the keyframes to zoom in and out of some features within
our video clip. Okay. So let's add
the same keyframe, but this time around, on our
video, like we've added. I've shown that when we were adding this
background music. But then I want to
show it again using this particular voice over
that we've just recorded. So assuming at this
point at the starting, I want to maintain the volume. I want to add the
effect on the volume. So I can select the clip. I can come over to the basic. You can see we have volume. I want to key frame
on the volume only, and then you can see
we've added a keyframe. So we move up to this point, maybe add another key frame. But then I want to
change in the volume. So from that point, I want to bring down the volume. You can see Oh I want
to bring up the volume. You can see if you want
to have a sharp increase, this is gradually increase, and then you can
move to this point. Maybe it's going to remain on this, and then
up to this point, I can just add another key
frame and then sharpen out. I can add another key frame, two frames after this, and then I can zoom out
maybe up to this point, I can just add another
last keyframe. What this does is,
you can on your own manually from
here, reduce this. So you can see we have this
flat nature up to this point, then suddenly the volume increases and then it
decreases down like this. So if you want to,
you can use this one also to just maintain
the position. You can decide to
move this so you can or you can move here. You can create another
one so that you can see the rise in the sizing. So you can see it just
gradually rise again. Probably it's just go
back to the way it was. So you can hear the sound
like we've explained. I welcome to Mc This is it
went so high and very loud. You can allow it. Then you just notice the
sudden drop in the audio. That's a test of do gradually dies down
because there's a key frame and it affects
the volume of the audio. So see demonstration purpose. So the whole idea is to be able to use the
keyframes to vary the position or the audio to apply it to
change the scaling, and you can apply
it on any effect. You cannot apply on
fading and fed out. We can apply on other features. For example, let's check
the voice changer, no. The speeding, no,
you cannot only the volume you can
use keyframe on. But on the videos, you can be able to add keyframes on evil rotation, and so on. You can see on the position, you can add keyframe as
well as on rotation. So let's try one more
time to see how we can add keyframes to this very clip. Okay, so zooming, we
select this clip, and we want to add. But this time around, I want to key frame even the position. Okay, so I can select this. And let's say we
add the keyframe. We come to basics,
and we can say we want to add key frames
as regards scaling, which is a size and
less position as well. So we add scaling and position. So let's say we keep it
fixed here up to this point. We can still keep
it fixed by adding another key frame to this as regards both the scaling
and the position. And then we can move to probably one or two
frames after this, and then we can zoom in. Okay, so you can see
we've zoomed in. But then our focus is the pad. So you can see we've
moved the pad. And because we have really used the keyframes on the
position as well, you can see right now
everything is being monitored. Now, from this point,
I wanted to stay on this show casing the
pad up to this point, and then I can add
another key frame on the scaling as well
as the position. So then after this, maybe
I add one or two frames, and then I can probably put in another key frame on both the
position and the scaling. And then this time around, I'm
going to come back to 100, which is double
clicking on this. It's going to bring me
back to 100 and then I can drag and
bring it to normal. Okay. So let's try to play
this so that we can see how we showcase or we cannot directly show the part
that you're working on, and then it goes
back to the normal. Hello. Let me me this and
let's play this one more time. All right, so this is
very, very perfect. Show kissing the iPad, the part that you're working on, and then going back, take
a look at the zooming in. And then it zooms out.
So that's perfect. And if you want to kind of increase the speed
of the movement, you can do that also from here
by moving the key frames. If you move them away, which means it's going to slow out in terms of the zooming in. If you move them closer, you can see it zooms in
in a very slow motion. But if you move them very close, it's going to zoom in but fast. Okay. C. Very, very fast. So that's basically how to add keyframes on different
objects on different clips, be either video or an audio. We can do that also
on the images. Let's try to see if we can
add on images as well. So let's have this and let's do drag this
and drop this here. And on the image,
you can do the same just like the way you've
done on the video. So you can select CC. You can keyframe all of this. You can do the position and the scaling as well,
just like we've done. And you can move this. Let's say we maintain this
up to this point, we add another key frame. But then this time
around, we want to showcase this small gel
so we can just zoom in. Up to this point, then we
can add one more key frame, frame the position
and the scale. But then we can zoom in. But our focus is on
this more little gale, so we can see we've
zoomed into a, and then we can just move to maybe this point probably and then hit on the key frames as regard position
and the scale. Now, we add one
more key frame just to demonstrate what we want
to do. So to this point. And then here I want
to scale it back to 100 and then move the
position to the end point. Okay. So let's see what we have just done as regards this. It just zooms in to the girl, and then it zooms back to where it was at
the normal stage. Okay. Okay, so you
get the message. So this basically
concludes this tutorial on how to add key frames
on both images, videos, and audios using CP ct. Hope you
enjoy this video. Thanks for watching.
In the next class, we're going to look at how to do very basic editing
from scratch. We're going to
import some media, and we're going to carry out
some of these key simple, simple tasks and skills that
we've learned so we can see practically how we
can demonstrate and do some basic
editing from scratch. So I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching,
and I look forward to seeing you in the
next class. Bye.
35. Capcut on Desktop: Exporting Videos: All right. So in the last class,
we talked about how to create a basic
video from scratch, maybe aligning some media clips and see how we can just
play around with them. Okay? So in this class, we are going to learn how to export the video that
we've just created. Assuming we have created this video and we
like what we see. We like the creation. Let
me play it one more time so that you can understand who experience what
we've created. And if you like, we can
just go ahead and export it in different formats
within this cap core. D. Well, I think this is perfect. So the next thing is, assuming I like what I see, and I just want to export the equation that
I've just done. In CP cot to export, you can just come to
the top right of here. You can see export, and
you can click on port. And then you can go
ahead and define some of the features that you want to define as regards the export. The first thing is the name, which we have given
at the beginning. And the second thing
is the location, where do you want to save this export after the exporting. You can click on
this file to kind of define the exact
location where you want. You can navigate around. My Own case, I want to
come to the desktop. I want to save in a different
location, go to desktop, and then we can come to probably this T C desktop tutorial, and I could just
create another folder, and I can call it output. Okay, so this is output. Output folder, for example, I call it output folder, and I can click concrete, and I want to save my
video in this location, so I can see open to this, and it has now defined this location where it
is going to export. Now, the next thing
is to look at the video properties,
the resolution. I want to keep it at ten
80 because it's perfect, and then you have the t rate. I want to keep it recommended. The code Usually
hd264 is perfect. But then these are
other codex if you want to try and the format, I keep everything
at default MP four. I don't go for move. The frame rate, I keep it at 30 frameate pass can as you've
set it at the beginning. The odio, also, I
don't touch anything. I want everything
to be a default. It gives you the perfect sizing and the perfect quality when
you go with the settings. Okay? If you want
to check copyright, you can enable this to check copyright in case of if you are uploading to other
platforms like YouTube that can give
you copyright strike. Okay? So if you are sting
with what you have, you can see the estimated
duration of the clip that you've created and
the estimated size of what you're going to export. If you're sting
like what you see, you can just go ahead and
say export directly from here and it's going to start
ranging and exporting. I click them to P S if you want on your own, you can link up
your TikTok account or your YouTube account, and you'll be able to
export directly to those accounts and you can
define the privacy from here, whether you want to go
public or to stay private, and then you can add some
other features from here. Once you click on Share it's
going to go to the share on your TikTok as well as on your YouTube channel from here, but you have to be signed in. Let's give you some
seconds to finish up the rendering and
generating the video, and I'm going to play
at the end of this. This concludes this tutorial or this class on how to export your videos from CAP
court to your system. In the next class,
we're going to look at just general conclusion
about the course, and then maybe a simple project demonstrating what you have
learned that you undertake, just to demonstrate that
you understood some of the concept and skills that you learned
through this course. It's going to be a mini project that you can participate on. So I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching
and enjoy watching the little creation
that we've done in this sample video
editing from scratch. So see you in the
conclusion class, by.
