In the next class, we're going to learn generally how to download and install Capcot on your desktop. Until next time, thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Bye. 3. Downloading and Installing Capcut: All right, so in the last class we talked about why you should choose Cap Cut as a video editor. What are some of its features that you can benefit from when you choose it? And we talked about in detail what Cap Court is and what you can use it for. In this class, we're going to talk about how to download and install on your desktop. To start with, you can open any of your browsers. You can come to the search bar and just search for Google. You will search for it directly, we brought in here and you can just go ahead and search for directly just like so. And then you don't enter the first one cap court all in one video editor and graphic design tool part by EI. You can see it over here. It's available for Mark, Windows, Linux operating system, and even available on Android and IOI's, just like we've described in the last class. So just click on the first one, Cap Court.com and you'll be brought into this very platform. Okay? So you could see it qu explained and you could automatically detect which operating system you're working with and it's going to give you the version of that operating system to download. And come all the way down here, edit videos online. You have the option to use the online version which we have already covered in the last course that you've given on Capcurt tutorial, Okay. So if you are interested in checking out the online version, I will equally link up the video that I make or complete tutorial video edit using the online version. I will link it up over here. And then if you want to download for Mark because it automatically detect that I'm using Mark operating system. So you'll download the Mark version, okay. Alternatively, you can come to the download over here and you'll be able to see you can download for Windows. And if you have Windows, you can just click to download Windows. And if you want to download for mobile as well, you can click to download for mobile. And if you want to use the online features, you can just go ahead and sign up or sign in accordingly. All right, so downloading is very easy. Once you click on this, it's just going to start the download and then installing also is just a step by step process. You can just go ahead, follow it through, and just install. There are lots of things that you can check around here like the powerful features, the templates that they have, and what and what Cap Court is capable of doing. You can just go ahead and have an overview of the software and what they offer. Okay? But for now to just download and install, you click on this for depending on your operating system and then you can download and install installation. Again, it's very simple, so I'll just give you some time. Download, install it because I've just done that on my system. And I'll see you in the next class, right. 4. Creating a Project and Interface Overview: All right, so in the last class we talked about how to download and install Cap Cot on your desktop. I've just downloaded mine and installed. And in this class I'm going to show you how to open and create a project, and then we're going to look at the general overview of the Cap Court platform. To open Cap Cod. You can just come all the way to your lunch part and just click on it. And then you can just go ahead and search for Cap, just like that. And you'll be able to see it over here. This is Capt. And once you click, it's going to open Cap Cot for you. Now you'll be welcome to this very platform. At the bottom here, you will be able to see these are projects that you've worked on or the ones I'm currently working on. You'll be able to see them over here, over here. You have the option to search. If you have multiple projects, you can search directly or you can change the view from the grid view to list view if you want them to be list view, something like this arranged with these details, or if you want, you can go back to the grid view. I usually prefer the grid view because it's easier to understand what video or what project you're on at any given point. You can delete any of the projects using this delete burn. And then when you hover over any of the projects, you can see there are three dots. Once you click, you're able to see, you can rename a project or duplicate, or deleted also directly from here. All right, so for this tutorial we're going to create a project. You can create an image, which maybe we're going to look at through this tutorial, or you can check Autoryframe. But for this tutorial, we're just going to start by creating a simple project. If you want to check out the settings, you can come to this icon over here. You can just click, you can check out the basic settings. This is the latest version. You can check out the settings from here and you have the match options to look after. Okay, like these are the project settings. You can specify the folder where you want to save and then material download. If you want to download anything, where do you want to take it? You can define the directories from here and then you can say don't delete catch files or auto delete catch files. You can specify this after 30 days or thereabout. Over here you'll be able to see the cache size in your desktop, so you can be able to delete or as you wish. This is the projects, this is the edit features. You can just go ahead and just explore them and see what and what you can change. Usually I give everything that defaults. The frame rate is usually 30 and then this is the time code. And if you have anything, I don't usually touch anything. These are performance which I don't touch except if you have anything that you want to change. The proxy location I don't change also becomes very easy during the clearing. The language you can select any language of your choice for the default is English, so that's what I'm going to leave. I don't touch anything. But in case if you need to change anything, this is where you come for you to start. You can create a project directly from here by just clicking on the So let click to open a new fresh project. So this is a brand new project over here, okay? It's unnamed, okay? So the first thing you need to do is to start by naming the project. You can do that by coming to the top here and double clicking maybe. Let's call this Sample editing. Okay, So you have saved this and it's now titled Sample Editing. Now this is the location where you're going to find it. It is saved under this cap court user data project and it is here. So you can easily at any given point and navigate to this location and you'll be able to see you folder and these are the basic settings that you've selected. If you can modify this if you're interested. But then this is the main platform of Cap Court. So let me take you through to just give you an overview of what the platform is all about, what you expect and what you see at the beginning. It may look a little bit complex, Not used any video editing software before, but it's common, it's very generic. And if you've used, you'll be able to understand most of these key features. So the first one to the left is the media being, which is where you house all of your media. You can import all of your media here, from images to videos, to audios. You can just import directly by clicking on this. You can just import your media and just past them and then bring them up into the time line which we're going to look at in detail. So this is from local, or you can import from any device connected to a system or from a library if you have. And then this is audio. Okay. Capcot comes in with different kind of audios that are copyright free. All you need is just to specify and just download it and then it's become part of your system. That's one of the advantages of using the desktop version. Anything you download stays on the desktop. So you have music, you have sound effects, you have copyright check. You can do that on any media. Okay. And then you have extracted audios, You have extracted audios. And Tik, talk there about, you can just explore this and see what and what they have. And then we have the text features. There are different types of texts, from default text to effects, the ones that have effects on their own. So you have multiple of them. You can just select and bring in and just customize accordingly. You have them of different types. There are different templates that you can just use for your content. Auto captions, If you want to generate auto captions, you can specify the language and it's going to generate that. We're going to look into it also through this tutorial. And then this is local captions. If you have a caption, you've captured a video, you can just import it. And it's going to tie up with what you have. So these are stickers. Okay, a lot of stickers are available. So MGs emphases icons. Different types, you'll be able to use them. Flog, these are Christmas celebration modes and journals effects. You can just write effects. You have quite a number of them. It's just up to you to just decide. So Pct is toughed in with all of these features. And then we have effects. Okay? Different kind of effects that you can apply to your videos. These are presets that you can just download and add directly to your videos. In each case, if you hover over any of them, you're going to see the effect it's going to give to your content. And then we have transition. Now the effects of different types, you can see them. These are lenses, These are stars. Okay. These are TV shows. Tv's and dark and so on. There are so many glitch and so on. You can see them, so many of them next. And one of the most important is transition. There are different kind of transitions that we have in gap court. And as you hover over any of them, you'll be able to see the effect is going to have on your video also. So there are different types, you can see them arrange. These are blow type, okay? These are blow type, these are basic type, okay? These are basic slides in and so on. Okay? These are different types, These are ban doors and flags and so on. You can see a lot of them. This is left, right. There are so many, so many you can just explore to see what kind of transitions you can use. And then these are filters that you can apply, effects that you can apply in preset mode. To change your videos within just a simple click, we're going to look at how some of these are going to change the looks of our video. And then we have manual adjustments if in cases, if you want to use lots. Okay, We're going to look at how to import lots also and use them on your videos. Now, this to the left, we have this much effects. To the center, you have the preview panel. This is where you preview everything that you have in the timeline. Okay, so over here we have the properties panel. Whatever image or whatever media that you have in the timeline, when you click on it, you'll be able to see all of the properties over here. We're going to look in detail on how to check out the properties panel and what, and what you can do with it. Now, down here, this is where you have the timeline. Okay? Whatever you import in as media, you can just drag and drop it into the timeline and need to be arranged over here. This is where you do all of your basic editing, the cuttings, the joinings, as well as any other editing feature. The trimming, you can do all that from here. And the increasing and decreasing number of trucks, okay, And how to manage your trucks. You'll be able to do everything from this side. All right? And then over here you have a number of other controls that we're going to cover as we move on in the sutorial. These are select, usually they are short cuts. Okay, the select, this is split with letter B. And the select forward, leftward, select right word. You can change the selections using these features. These are some key shortcuts and we have a bunch of other features here that we're going to cover as we start with this tutorial. Okay, so I think this concludes this class on how to create a project and the general overview of the Cap Court platform. Okay, I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we are going to look at how to import and manage media within Cap Court. All right, so until next time. Thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class, Bye. 5. Importing and Managing Media: All right, in the last class we talked about the interface overview of Cap Cot. And in this class we are going to look at how to import and manage media within cap Cot. Now to import media, all you need is just to be at the media, being here at the top left, you should make sure you're at the media selection of the media tab. And then you have the option to import media from local or from the library. If you want to import from local drive, you can just go ahead and import. So you can go ahead and import directly by just clicking on this. And you can navigate to wherever you have your videos. In my own case, I have my videos arranged over here so I have them. I can select all of them at the same time. And just go ahead and click on Import. And everything is going to be imported in my media bin. So you have the option to create a folder, and over here you can just rename the folder, for example, you can just rename it and call it my video footage. All right. Click Okay. And I have all my video footage from here. And then I can make all the selection. I can select all of them, drag them and put them in this folder. So it's good and it's very important to stay organized when you're dealing with pot. And the next thing is you can alternatively, on your own, navigate to wherever you have the media and just drag and drop it into the timeline. Just like I have this folder that contains all of my audio, I just drag and drop it. And I could do the same also with the image. Okay, so I have these images and once I click, you can see these are images that I have uploaded within my drive. You can always go back and you can select these, my audios, you can see the views as usual. At the top here, you'll be able to change the view. You can change it from the thumbnail to the least, or the grid to the least view. You can always change it. And you'll be able to see as you hover over any of the media, you'll be able to see a preview of it in this preview player. So you can just go ahead and select on all, but I think I prefer the grid view in this case also. And then you can sort also accordingly, you can sort by time created, name, file type, duration, and the latest to earliest. Okay? So you can see right now it's sorted earliest to the latest. So you have the option to change the sorting accordingly and you can search for any particular media using the search button over here. All right, so this is how to bring in media one way using the local drive. The second way is you can come to the library. There are a number of different kind of trending and we have Christmas video related. You can see different videos. All you need is just to click on the download here and you can download it. Or if you want to have it part of your start or favorite items, you can come all the way to the favorite feature over here and just click on this and you'll be able to add this to your favorites. The only thing is that you just need to sign in to be able to have this start. So you can just favorite anything, anyone and you can download anyone for use locally on your drive. So we have them of different types, green screen of different types, you can see them, you can just go ahead and see. We're going to learn how to remove green screen from different videos to give us some special touch. And then we have backgrounds of different types and of different sizes of video. You can check out the backgrounds. And we have intro and end videos. Okay, these are different types of intros that you can easily customize and attach them to your video. So these are many of them transitions and so on. You can just check out the various different types of media that you can easily import directly as a media within your computer and continue to work. If you have anyone that you like, for example, I kind of like this one, I can just go ahead and click on Download. And it's going to download it and then we're going to add it into our media. All right, so you can see as you hover over, you'll be able to see the preview of what that video is all about. And when you click on this plus sign, it's going to automatically add this to your timeline over here. So let's say we click on this plus sign and you can see we've just added it into our timeline. It comes into this truck, okay? And once you select this particular media, you'll be able to see the media properties over here. Like the video properties, the speed properties, the animations, the adjustments. You can see everything from here. All right, these are basic properties and then these are out properties. And then we have the mask properties and so on. So you'll be able to see these enhanced properties, these are basic. Usually what we do is the basic. We stay at the basic and do most of the things that we're going to do. Okay, so this is basically how to import the media. You have a bunch of other things which we're going to look at when we go into editing, but then right now we have shown how to import media from the library and from the local drive which we have shown over here. So in this case also if you want to bring in area of the media, you can just double click and you can either drag and drop it into the timeline just like, or you can do the point and outpoint like we do in most software in cap court. You have to just make sure you hover over. Okay? As you hover over, you can just hit on the point. And then as you hover over again, you can hit on the letter to define the outpoint. And when you drag and drop, it's just going to drag and drop just that section that you have defined. So if you want to drag and drop any section also from here, you can just hover over. Okay, Define the location and you can just say point. You can move again to this point and say out point. And if you're comfortable with this, you can equally drag and drop. But the mind you, you can come to the edges and you can shift to extend the length of it. Let me show you, this is point and this is probably the outpoint. You can extend the length by coming to the edges. You can drag and extend or reduce the length. Okay, to cover the areas that you want to capture or to make it flexible so you can capture as many as you want. And then you can just go ahead and drag and drop very easily. You could drag and drop and you have this much feature, and if you drag it to the top also you create another different kind of layer. Okay, so from this we've created another layer of truck. Okay, so when we move up, you have another layer of truck. So basically there are so many things to look at here in terms of the editing, which you're going to cover in the next class. I think this concludes this tutorial on how to import a media into the media bin and then manage it. Okay, try to arrange it folders and then import it from library. And still do the same arrangement over here. I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching. In the next class, we are going to look at the basic editings. How do we do some very basic editings within our cap Court to trim and cut and then arrange our media in cap Court? Until next time, thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Bye. 6. Basic Video Editing: All right, so in the last class we talked about how to import and manage media within the media being. And in this class we're going to learn the basic editings. How do we edit our videos in the most basic way? Okay, how do we do some cuttings and joinings and so on? All right, so let's start by opening the video clips that we have. And you can import media like we've explained in the last class, but just coming over to the particular media, you can drag and drop it directly. This is one way. Alternatively, you can just hover over it and select a particular point. Again, you can say, maybe at this point you define as the point you can hit on the letter. And then you can define to this point at the outpoint, you can hit on the letter. And then you have this section now to add to the timeline. And once you hit on this plus sign, it's going to add it from the beginning of where you have your playhead. Okay, so this is the playhead which you can use to navigate across to be able to see the preview of whatever is underneath the playhead within this preview player. So this is how to import. You can manually drag and drop, or you can select the point and outpoint and you can drag and drop the media indirectly. So again, you can do that with audio or with video however you want it. You can just go ahead select audio and you just drag and drop it into the timeline. Just like so I'll be able to see we have the audio profile directly down here so you can do some very basic editings after importing your media directly. So the first one is, you can notice that when you import a media, you create a truck. Okay, Truck is being created and with some of the features. For example, in the video truck, you can see we have this click to Edit Cover. If you want to edit the cover, you can click on this and be able to edit. Watch Cover. You can select from the video if you have it locally, you can just import a particular cover and add it, okay. Or you can specify the location directly from here. So this is one of the beauties of using Cap Cut on the desktop over here. You can mute the clip audio directly. You can mute it and you can just disable or hide the truck by just clicking on this. The whole of this truck now becomes hidden. You'll not be able to have access to it until you enable directly from here, or you can lock it against any kind of feature exchange. You will not be able to change anything after you have locked, until you have unlocked it for up here. And then the same thing for the audio. You can mute it down here or you can lock it against any change or thereabout. Now one of the key things that you can do is you can change the mouse view from the select button, like you know it is on the select mode, you can always return to the selection mode with the letter A, or you can create a split with the letter B. Or you can do this, select left and backwards, okay? You can select forward and backward with the square brackets. So to create a split anywhere within your clip, you can just select that clip and you can either press on letter B to create that split, to enable the Sor tool. Okay, with this line, you can just split at any giving point, but then when you hit the command B, it create a split. Right now you can see we'll split this into two. You can split multiple by just hitting on letterb. Anywhere you click, you're going to create that split. So let's kind undo this, do it one more time. Okay, so if you go back to the selection tool with the letter A, you can see right now you're on the selection tool. When you click on any place, you're not going to split on anything. But then when you use letter B, it's now on the Rasor blade tool. So when you click anywhere, it's just going to create that split. Okay, so let's go back to letter A and we can select, move the sections that we've just created the split on. Okay, so this is one way. Another very important way to split or to cut in sections of a clip or multiple clips is using the keywords and shortcut keys. Or if you want to create a split again, you can use the common B or Mark or control B on windows to create the same split. And this kind of split cuts across the clips. Okay, so common B to create that split. And you can do this, so let's say we select both clips and when we do come and B, it's going to cut across both clips. Okay, so this is one way. Another way to do the same cutting is going to be by using this delete left. If you want to do delete left, you can use it with the letter Q on your keyboard or letter to delete, right? So if you want to delete just this section of the video from the beginning of this to this point, you can just use letter Q from where the playhead is down to the edge of that particular clip. You can use on LetterQ, can see it's just going to create that. Okay, let's see, with letter Q, you can see you've created that deleting section. You've deleted that particular section. You can select and you can use letterQ. Can see we've created that delete from that particular section. Okay? And then you can use on the delete, right, with letter. So when you click on, it's going to delete from the right section. Okay? So it's going to be from the right section. That's going to delete from here up to the playhead with letter you can see but letter, you've created that split. All right, so that's the beauty of using the cup code editor. Okay, so you can select and you can use letter and you can see deleted dissection from the right. Let's undo this. If I want to delete this section from the left, I can just use a letter Q and you can see a deleted dissection from the left. So you can select and do very many editings, like you can delete a section, or you can move a section to another point. You can just drag and move them. And you can bring some up or you can change the tracks or the about. You can do very many basic things on your own if you want to enable that. Then you can select to delete, or you can rotate a section of the video, for example, at this point, if you select this, you can click to rotate it to any angle, okay? And it's just okay, this is reversing. You can click to reverse it, and it's going to be playing backwards. Instead of playing forward, it's going to start playing backwards. All right, when you play this, you'll notice that it is going to be playing backwards. This is playing backwards, then this is flipping. If you want to flip it, you can see you can flip to the right or to the left. You can easily do that. And then you have this rotate feature. You can rotate it to any angle of your choice. You can vary the angle, or you can, on your own, manually select from here and create the rotation depending on what angle you're trying to create. Then you can do cropping from here. You can crop from any angle. You can specify the length. You can crop from the left or from the top. Okay, from the bottom, depending on the section you're trying to create. And once you are done, cropping can just either confirm on this and it's going to crop. You have multiple other selections. You can rotate it to any angle of your choice. All right. Or you can crop ratio, you can select the free cropping. Or you can do it with the standard template, one by 14 by three or thereabout. You can do all of these croppings. If you are not setting with what the croppings you have, you can always reset this and everything is going to go back to normal, which is what I want at this point. So I can just click Confirm and have my video back to normal. And over here I can just select and bring it back to where it was at 360. Okay, so this is about editing. And once you select a particular clip, you can come over here, you have the different clip properties like explain earlier on. This is the basic properties you can play around with a lot of things from here that has to do with this particular clip. For example, the sizing. You can increase or decrease the sizing from here. Or you can scale things uniform scaling. You can select to enable uniform scaling. Or you can change the position on the X axis. You can click to add something on the X. On the Y axis you can increase or decrease. Or you can add rotation also from here. A manually. But at any given point if you don't want, you can always come over here and reset everything. And N, this is back to normal. Okay. Down here you have the bunch of other things. You can align left, right, and center. You can change the alignment. You have the modes. You can change the different modes that you have. Color, dodge, hard light, and so on. You can change the different modes, and over here you have the opacity. You can play around with the opacity. You can increase or decrease accordingly from here. So these are very basic video editing properties like the motion blow. Later on we'll look at how to add some key advanced features. But this basic, if you want to check out the audio properties, if there's audio with this clip you'll be able to see the audio properties over here, like the volume you can play around with volume, increase or decrease the volume, and create a fade in or fade out. You can always do that. You can create a fade in and fade out directly in the volume later. One will come to deal with how to manage audio. We'll show how to increase, create fading and fade out and many other ones. You can enable loudness normalization over here or enhance the voice directly using this feature. And it's going to automatically enhance your voice. Okay, If you have an audio selected down here, you have a lot of controls, vocal isolation, and channels, you can play around with them. Later we'll check out this is voice changer. You can change your voice to sound like a chip monk or something like different kind of voices. You can try it maybe much later to see how it works. And then you have speed. You can change speed, okay? You can make it a times two or times three just to increase the speed or thereabout. And then you have animations and adjustments which we're going to look at. But basically when you touch any media, you have its properties over here that you can directly or indirectly change to enhance it or to make it better. Down here you have a bunch of other features which we're going to look at also as we move on. Again, you can trim from the edges. If you come to over edge of any clip, you can click and you can drag inside to trim it from the inside. You can click and drag also inside to trim it from the other edge. Okay, So at any given point, you notice that if you try to delete anything from here or you try to move anything, it magnetizes to the end. If you want to remove this, you can come over here. This is a ton of magnet, truck, main truck magnet. So you can turn it off and you can see you can select and move it around in cases if you want to create a split or you want to remove a section of this. For example, you enable the result Blade feature and you click here. You create a cart and you click here. Also you create another cart. You can always come back to the selection mode and select on this and delete. And it's just going to leave a space. You can select that section and delete it on your own if you like. You can drag manually and clip it okay to the edge. You can just drag and connect them. And then you can select and move them across to this section. Okay? But in essence, you can do trimming from each angle, from this angle. Also, you can trim even though it leaves that space. You can trim on your own, can move things around, and you can trim from the other edge as well. And you can move your glyphs however you want them across, and it cuts across even images. You can come back here and you can import images and you are going to experience the same thing when you drag and drop them into the timeline. You have a bunch of other features. Once you select an image, you'll be able to have its basic properties over here that you can edit. And you can do the same cuttings across with the letter B and card cuts also in the same way. So I think this does it on this tutorial on generally how to edit your videos. Down here you have other things. One thing you may notice is that you can zoom in and out in the timeline with this, okay? So you can zoom in to be able to see precisely when you want to make a simple cut. You can zoom in to see the details of it and you can zoom out using this at any given point, you can always zoom to fit. This is zoom in to fit so that you can be able to see within the timeline. Everything now zooms out and stay within the timeline. So in this case, in this audio, in this case you can just select from here and create a stream. You can just select and come to the top here. Then you can create a trim. You can go back to the selection mode, okay, Go back to the selection mode later. And then you can come to the edge here and just select and drag and trim it to the edge over here. And then over here you have the option to record an audio thereabout, which we're going to look at also in this tutorial. This is the magnet feature. This is tonto snapping, okay? If you want to enable auto snapping or you want to turn it off, you can remove from here. And then this is turn off linkage between clips. And then this is to preview Preview axis. You can turn off preview axis, this is zoom to timeline so you can be able to see all the media within the timeline. So basically this does it on how to edit your video clips in Cap Court, do some very basic editings. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we're going to look at recording with Cap Court, which is another way to bring in media into Cap Court. Okay? How do we record things with Cap Court? Until next time, thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Bye. 7. Recording Voice-over with Capcut: All right, so in the last class we talked about very basic editings within your video or audio or maybe sometimes your images in Cap Court. In this class we're going to cover how to record your voice over with Cap Court. Recording a voice over is also equally another means or another way to record or to import a media to record a voice over with. All you need is just to come to the bottom right. Over here you can see record with this speaker icon. You can just click on it. I need to bring you over to this dialogue. Okay? So you can select the input device from here. All of your devices, microphone or headset, or any kind of external microphone that you have connected, you'll be able to visualize them over here. In this case, I'm selecting my road NT USB. You can vary the volume, You can reduce the volume, or you can increase it directly and I want to increase it, you'll be able to see the sensitivity also increasing from here. Okay. But I usually keep it at 100 to give me a bit of professional audio. 100 is good, but this recording, we're not going to enhance the audio with this much features. I'll just keep it plain basic. So we record and the letter will record with these two features enabled. And then we could be able to see the difference. So to start recording, you can come to the top over here, Just press on this red button to start recording. Let's you have this countdown timer. Hello and welcome to my channel. This is just a test of recording with Cap cut voice over recorder. I hope you are enjoying this video and you're learning something out of it. Because there's going to be a practical section where we're going to kick start editing videos from scratch. You can stop the video by just clicking on the red button over here and you have your audio finished. Okay, so this is the finished audio. Let's play it to have a preview of what you've just created. Hello and welcome to my channel. This is just a test of starting with caput voice. Now this is perfect because it gives us a very good and clean and clear audio. Okay, so let's try to see how we can enhance it with the echo reduction and voice enhancement features that we have within Pct. Let's select this, and let's select this as well, but then we don't need to mute the other projects. Okay, so let's create another audio. Maybe we can start by selecting this and probably deleting this. Okay, so let's start from here. Let's click on the red button to start recording. Hello and welcome to my channel. This is just a test of the audio recording using Cap Cut, but we've enabled the enhancement and echo reduction features. You can notice that in the timeline before the video start recording, there is a countdown timer, which after that you start recording properly. I hope you're enjoying the video and you're learning something out of it. You can always click on the red button to stop the recording and we can go back and hear the preview of what you have recorded. Hello and welcome to my channel. This is a test of the audio recording using put enhancement reduction features. I think this is perfect because there's a lot of reduction in the noise, the background noise, and the echo also, it's been greatly improved. I can tell this from the sound that we have, from the audio recorded. There's a lot of improvement. So this concludes this tutorial on how to record your voice over using Caput. You can go ahead and try it using the various sentence that you have in the voice enhancement, the echo reduction, And then if you want to raw footage, you can go ahead and select the particular input device and record directly. So I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we're going to look at adding text titles and formatting them within cap court. Okay, so I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Bye. 8. Adding and Customizing Texts: In the last class we talked about how to record your voice over within cap cut. And in this class we're going to look at how to add text and format them within cap cut. Okay, so to add text, let's say we have this video, this one. You can see this once they are talking about some tourists for example, and this is an example of those tourists already enjoying their view. Let's say we have added some section, maybe, let's say we're added from here. We define this at the end point. And then maybe up to this point, just this movement of this ocean. You can just define the outpoint and the drag and drop this in our timeline as soon. I like it like this, If I like, I can just say up to this point, I can lead the letter B and credit card back to the selection tool with the letter A and then select and delete in this section. Now I want to add a text describing some of these features of what they are doing. I can select, I can come to the text menu at the top. Here I can click, you can have the option to add default text directly. For example, this is default without any effect. Without anything, we can just click on this plus sign. And it's going to be added from the point where you have your playhead located. So let me do this because I want to add it at this point. I have to position my playhead here so I can click on this and it's just going to add in my text. Okay, with this plot sign, I can see it's just been added, my text. Let me now go ahead and customize this text. You can select it, You can see it comes in in a different layer income. Over here, once you have it selected, you have the text properties over here. These are basic properties. You can select the text and change it from here. You can say, for example, welcome to Lanai. Welcome to Cameron. Highlands is one of the Highlands that are visited in Malaysia. So you can click out when you select back double click and you can move them around and you can select Throne from the edges, you can resize your text directly using this can select and move it around. Then you have the option to play around with the basic text editing features like you can change the fonts of different types. There are different types of fonts from here which you can just click to download and you add it to your text. I think I like the phones that I have. You can manually, on your own, increase or decrease the sizing from here using the size, or you can put in the numbers, or you can use this to increase or decrease. Also accordingly, you bold, you can tallize, can underline, and you can add different kind of features. I think I don't like it to be underlined and I don't like it to be bold at this point. You can change the case from the caps, okay, to the small letters or initials with capital letters. You can change all these from here. You have the option to, on your own, manually change the coloration. I think in this background you can see we can change the coloration. But white is actually doing a good job, so I'm not going to change it from white. Okay, so you can click out, can change the character line numbers from here. And you can change the alignments left, right, and center in cases if you have your many text. Okay? And then over here you have a bunch of other presides that you can easily with just a simple click, enable it in your text. So for example, you can go with this just one clip. You can see our text has been changed to something else. Can select on this issue. I think I like this because it pops out clearly. You can just go ahead and experiment with the different presets that we have here and see which one is going to give you exactly what you're looking for. This one has a background, black background and it mops. It makes the white color pops out a little bit. And I think this is much better. Let's say we reduce the sizing by making it bigger, or we can keep it like this. Okay, so you can play around with the presets. And then down here you have the position and size. You can scale it, like we've explained in the sizing. This is scaling. And then you can do uniform scaling, okay, in x and y, or accordingly, you can do it in x or in y. And then you can rotate to different angles from here. All right. You can always treat it to any angle. And at any given point, if you want to bring it back to normal, you just double click on the text and it's going to go back or reset it back to normal. You can change the alignment. You can align left, right, and center accordingly using these very basic things. Okay, Your own. You can drag and move it around to any section of the canvas. And then you have many other things. You can add stroke if case. If you want to add stroke, you can select to add a stroke and you can add the color of the stroke. What kind of stroke do you want to add and what kind of color are you targeting? Okay, so you can add the color and then you change or vary the thickness of the stroke using this. All right. You can just go ahead and explore it. There's so much to actually play around with background if you want to add a background or remove it so this becomes very clear when you remove the background. Okay. And then the stroke, You can add something like a red color and then you can vary the thickness as well. Stroke. But then we vary the thickness, we'll make it a bit thinner. Okay, the red color, you can see right now it pops out a little bit. So these are other features you can add in the glow effect if you want. And you can vary the features. You can add the shadow effect if you want to create shadow. I think it's better like this, the default even. And then you have the Cough effect. So, so many basic effects that you can play around with as regards text. And if you like, you can extend how long this text you should stay on the timeline. You can just come over here, assuming I want it to start from the beginning and I want it to play up to this point. All right, the text should play up to this point. And I can just come over just like the way we do trimming in the video and audio. You can do the same also with the text. And if you like this, you like the presets, you can always copy. And when you want to add another text from here, you can just pass the same thing. And then you can specify how long you want it, and you can specify the content of it as well by just selecting, coming over here and we can say, discussing the tourism plan. You can, you can select the text where the clicking and you can move it across to any point. This is how to use the play one. You have range of different text templates from here which you can easily on your own select. This is like an intro trending one is a trending text that you can easily easily drag and customize them to your liking and then make use of. Let's start with something simple. Let's start with something like this and drag and drop it here. All right, so you can see once you play it, let's have a preview. United States for vis friends. So what happens is you just look at the animation. How it comes in and then stays, and then how it goes out. Let's see if we can customize this a bit. You can select and you can see we have the one paragraph vices. You can change it from here. If you don't want it, you can remove it. United States and France. Or you can put United States and France. And then you can select, you can see the United States from here. And just select and make it maybe United Kingdom. All right, 2023 season, we can call it 2024. Yeah. All right, and then you can have the next one could be. And so this is less United Kingdom 2024, less France, United Kingdom 2024. So you can customize it however you want it From here, you can select any section and you can play around with the coloration. Right now it's yellow. You can change it to any color of your choice. For example, to red. When you click out, you see no have a red color. You can select on this. Also to change the coloration, this one you can select. And you can also change the coloration to something like this or any white color of your choice. You can just select it and make it any color. Then you can easily select and customize anything. Okay? The angle, you can vary the angle with the about if you like, you can vary it accordingly. Let's say we try something different. So let's drag this one and drop it here. And then we can bring our playhead over here. And we can just go ahead and customize however we want. So let's play this. We can say thanks for joining us. So you can select this. You can see right now we have, this is like let's say thanks for watching, thanks for watching and goodbye for example, this is the first text. This is the second text, the two paragraphs and goodbye. One, thanks for watching and goodbye. This could be at. So let's play. Thanks for watching and goodbye. So take a look at how it comes in and how it finishes everything. I think this is kind of professional. So you can bring in different templates, ready made templates, and you can just add, and they are classified accordingly depending on what you want. These are social media texts that you can use. For example, in some cases you may have this and maybe you are doing a tutorial video. You can add in the Like button as well as the Subscribe button. Like and Share button. And sometimes you may want to add the light, the like and Subscribe button. Okay. Something like this one. Okay. Like subscribe and then hit on the notification button. So this is peculiar to social media. We can just, on our own select this one. I can just drag and drop it. This is what it does. See. A preview, your name here, Okay, this is like just an intro. Or maybe you can put it as a lower fat. If you're interested, select it and drag it to the bottom over here. If you want to make a lower that you can come over here and drag it to make it smaller so you can bring it. You have the basic text editing features by just selecting this one, you can change the text inside by selecting this one and maybe putting Dr. Rashid All right. As your name. When this starts playing, let's have a preview of what is going to play so you can see Dr. Hi. Okay. Something like this and it just pops out. Okay. So it's kind of nice to use the presets. There are different ones, from social media to Christmas texts and even titles. We have titles. If you want to add titles, they are classified according to the titles. Okay, So are different titles. These are presets with animations that come in. And then you have log if you want to adding log texts that you can enhance. You have the writer, so you have the Ritter features. Okay, so just going to enable you using the typewriter effect so you'll be able to see it very nicely. And then you have the makeup and outro if you want to create an outro just like the way we have in this one. Thanks for watching. You can also see it over here. Very many of them, and they come with animations and effects. Okay, take a look at this one. I think I like this one, so we can drag and drop it here. Let's select this one and delete it. And then now we have this one as our outro. Okay, let's select Subscribe to watch More. Let's select it and go over here and see. You can select the text and select here, you can see Subscribe to watch More is the second text. Where is the subscribe? We have subscribe over here. We can see thanks for watching. Okay. Thanks for watching. And then we can come over here and see Subscribe for more, subscribe for more. Okay. So you can see it's perfect. Just slay around with it. So let's have a preview. You see, thanks for watching Subscribe for More. I think it looks nice. So you can just select. So let's see. Thanks for watching Subscribe for More. So this is a bit about how to use text and format it however you want it, using all of these features that you have position, if you don't want to sofi yourself to create one, you can always use the preset one, okay? The presets are fantastic, depending on what you're trying to create. You can see many of them, so many of them that you can just select and customize sports. We have technology, we have love, text, and so on. There's so many of them. So you can just select, customize, and have it for yourself. So I think this concludes this tutorial on how to use text, adding text and format it using cap Cut. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we are going to look at how to add and format transitions within cap cut. So I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. By. 9. Adding Transitions: Right, So in the last class we talked about how to add and format texts within cap cut. And in this class we are going to talk about how to insert and format transitions, okay? So that your videos can look very, very much professional and nice. Now, transitions are very important because they make videos appear very, very professional when you're transiting from one video clip to another. It doesn't just jump cut into that particular clip. Let me give you an example of what I'm talking about. For example, in between this video of this guy talking and this tourist video, there's a cut. It just cuts into it, which is highly, highly unprofessional. So let me play it so that you can understand what I'm trying to say. It just cuts. Okay, Let me play it one more. It just cuts. So if you can insert a transition, it's going to make it look much better and professional. So how do we insert the transition? We can come to the top of here. You can see transitions. You can click, and there are a number of transitions from here, okay? You can just start from overlays to camera. And the beauty about it is that as you hover over any of the transition, you'll be able to see what that transition is going to do to your particular video that you're working on. So let's say we can use this one, we can just drag and drop it here. And then we'll be able to see a preview of what we've just drag and drop. So you can see it just transits and of perfectly so you just transit into this one with some professional touch. And then you're free to on your own, manually extend the length of the transition from here. Or you can select the transition and then you can come to the properties of here. You can increase or decrease the period or length or duration of the transition also from here. So you can see right now we've extended it and the timing is increased. So you can do that across any two clips. So for example, the next one maybe I may add some light effects of slides sometimes. So you can have slides of different types here. All right, So this is the peeling or this one. Sometimes I like this one, so we can just drag and drop it here. We can extend the length a bit. Let's play and see it just transit here, okay. I think this is very much professional and nice. You can see it just transit if you want to reduce the length of the timing. So it just quickly flips around to delete a truck transition. You can just select it anywhere and just delete it. You can select it and delete it if you want or if you have multiple cuts within the video and you want to apply the same transition to all, just come over here and you just click and apply to all. And it's going to apply particular effect on all of them. So you can see there are different ones split just over over it. And you'll be able to see what effect it's going to have. So let's add in something or let's create a courtier. Let's say we use the letter B or create a courtier. Want to add a transition? So let's add this basic one, okay? This one kind of like it so we can just insert it. Let's see how it's going to play around. I think this is much more professional, or you can delete this one and try to see if you can insert that one. Okay, so let's go back to the selection tool like this and delete it. See if you can insert another one like this one also. I like it because it gives us that movement. Look. Think this is it. Just swipe that one and replace it with the next clip. You can see St one more time. This is good. It's up to you. You can just go ahead select on any transition of your choice. You can see them, there are so many of them. You can just select and customize it and then use it on your own effect. I like this swelling effect. This one. Okay. We can select this and we can delete it and we can insert this swelling effect. You can see from this one, so less. I think it looks good. It all boils down to you play around with the transition and see which one you can customize and which one you can extend the length and duration of it and then you can have it. The presets are fantastic. Okay, just go ahead and explore it. So I think this does it on this sutorial on how to add transitions in Caput Desktop. I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we're going to look at how to add in audio and format audio within Caput. Thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class, Bye. 10. Adding Audio: All right, so in the last class we talked about how to add transitions within our Cap Court software. In this class, we are going to talk about how to add music and maybe sound effects to make our videos appear very, very professional and nice. How to add videos, there are two ways. The first one is you can import a video on your own, like we have shown initially at the beginning of oral where we imported this audio. You can see these are different audios. Now if you want to add them to your time line, you can just come over over them and you select or you can add the truck using this plus sign. You can just hit on it and you can see automatically you've added an audio into your time line. Usually the audio is to be very much longer than the content or the footage that you have. In that case, you can move your playhead to any location of your choice and you try to create a cart to equalize the length of the audio. Assuming I want to create a cart here, I can just move my playhead to this point and I can select the same way you edit the video, is the same way you can do some very basic editing as well on audio. So for example, you can create a split with the common B, which as you can see right now, I've created the split. And I can select this section and delete it. Okay, So you can, on your own, try to play to hear a preview of what you have inserted. I think the audio is quite loud and it comes in with a very loud voice, and I don't want that to happen. I want to have something like a fade in and then a fade out to add in. Fade in and fade out, you can hover over at the edge of the audio, okay? You can see this white dot. So you can just select it. And you can see on your own, when you click, you can drag and you create a fade in into the audio. Okay? You can do the same thing on the fade out as well. You can come to the edge until you see this white dot. You can just click on it. Okay? And just drag, and then until you create a fade out. Now this is what you have done. You can see that the audio is going to start from zero and then it's going to grow up to 100% of the volume. All right, so you get the message. And the same way in the die out is going to die out from 100 down to zero. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say. Okay, so at the same way you do with clips, video clips, or any kind of eclipse, maybe an image. When you select that particular clip, you can see in the basic properties, we're able to see all of its properties here. For example, you can play around with the volume, okay? You can increase or decrease the volume. And you can even see a preview from the profile over here. So it's up to you now. You can decide to reduce the volume a little bit because it's a bit higher. One way to increase or decrease the volume is this one. The second way is you hover over the Vodeo and you see this white line. You can select it, drag it up to increase the volume, and drag it down to reduce the volume. Now when you drag it up, you see this red color, which just simply means that your audio volume is peaking. Okay? So you can decide to reduce it. Okay, so let's bring it down a little bit and you can still be able to see the preview from here. Alternatively, in the same way we inserted the fading and fade out, if you don't want to insert it manually from here using the dots, you can equally insert it from here by just selecting at the basic properties. You'll be able to insert a fade in from here as well. And you can be able to see that it is incorporating that fad in, depending on how many seconds you want. You can still play around and add the fade in and fade out. The same way you can add the fed out. And you can normalize the loudness if you want, so that they can have an equal amount of loudness throughout the clip. In some cases, you may want some part of the audio to be higher or to be louder. Maybe when you are speaking, you may want that section of your speaking to go down. Maybe the volume should go down, and then at some point when you're not speaking, you may want the volume to go up. In such cases, you have the option to, for example, let's say we have our audio at this length, at this volume. And you want to reduce the volume at this point. So you can just, you can select that particular audio do come and sire to create a cut and you can go on if you want the silence to continue up to this point. You can do another command B and you can see now we've greater two splits. Now on your own, you can manually reduce the length of this. Okay, to this point. You can reduce it to this point. Then you can see that we're going to have that particular drop in the volume. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say at this point. You're going to have the increase in the volume suddenly, but in order to have the sudden increase or sudden decrease in the volume, you can still come over and create that fade in. Okay, so you create the fade in, fade out. So it just simply fades out to the lower volume. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say. Then over here also, you can try to create the fade in. You can select and you can come over here, you create the fade in. Instead of from the lower volume to just higher volume, it just gradually gets into it. I think this is much more professional. So this is about this. And if you have another recording, for example, if you have recorded something, you can as well enhance the voice using this feature. All right. You can enhance the voice, you can do vocal isolation. You can play around with the channels from here which maybe we're going to look at some very basic things to look into. Okay. So this is one way to add audio into your timeline. The second way is court usually have an inbuilt music that are copyright free. You can easily drag and drop into the timeline. For example, you can come to audio tab over here and you have a number of audios that you can play around with. Okay. All you need is just to select or if you have a specific one that you're looking for, you can always search and find it over here. All right. So in my own case, I have some and I have some. Sometimes you could search maybe what type of music you're looking for. In this case, let's say we're looking for background music, background music and just hit on search. It's going to go on line to search for the available ones. So you can just choose, for example, I always like this best for video, background music by Chill Trap. Okay, it's a hip hop music you can play to have a preview or you can on your own, just directly insert it. Before you insert, let's position our playhead and then we can hit on this plus sign to just add it. Alternatively, you can start it in case if you want to add it to your favorite, if you're allowed in. Okay, let's say at this moment I want to just add this so I can hit on the plus side and you can see it's been added to my timeline. Okay, This is actually copyright free, so you can try to see how you can use it. Then let's mute this one so that we can try this that we've just added. So we can just try to play. I think that's nice and that's perfect. But then the sound is quite loud as well. You get the message. You can practice by selecting it and coming back to the basic properties and exchange the fade out, okay? Can change the fade out and exchange the fed in as well. Putting some fade in and then you can play around with the volume. Let's make it a bit down because it's a background music and we may want to have other things to play at the same background. You can see the fading in and the picking up in the volume is very, very nice and professional. Basically, this is how to add in audio and then customize it accordingly. Play around with its features if you want. Sometimes you can add the key frames. Okay? You can add keyframe at some point and then play around with the volume. Maybe at this point I want to increase or jack up the volume. I can do that with key frame as well. So I can hit on this key frame and then I can come over here. Now from this point, I want to increase the volume. You can see you are increasing relative to the key frame that you've created. I want this volume to remain like this, maybe until this point, to this point. Then I can add another key frame then let's say from this moment I want the volume to come down. Okay, let's add another key frame and then bring the volume down. You can see we've just created an increase and decrease in the volume and so on, so you get the message. This is just how to add it using key frames. So you can play around with the keyframes and you can, on your own, manually select and increase or decrease the volume directly. You can see the cuff that it says just created. Basically, this is how to bring in audio and play around with it within cap cut, Dextop fashion. I think this concludes this class on how to add audio and customize it and play around with its features within Cap Cut, You can go ahead and download some footage, bring in some audio, or even try to see how you can use the existing audio that we have within cap Court to edit your footage and let's see what you're going to produce. So thank you so much for watching. In the next class, we are going to look at the voice changer, how we can use cap court to change our voice, to increase or decrease the playing speed of both audio and video. So we can use that to play around with it. And then maybe try to see how we can reduce the noises in a voice or to enhance the voice in general. So I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Bye. 11. Changing Clip Speed and Enhancing Recordings: All right, so in the last class we talked about how to import and manage audio within Cap Cut. We talk about the different types of audio that we have, the ones in built within Pct and the ones that you can import from your system or from any device and you can play around with them from here. In this class, we're going to talk about how to add a recording that we've done outside of how can we import the audio and then try to see how we can enhance the audio. As well as see how we can add speed up or reduce the speed of a clip within Caput, try to see how we can change the voice, different features. Capcot offers this opportunity for you to change your voice using different kind of features to record something outside of Cap Coots. I've used this software, Audacity. I've recorded something with it. I've recorded this. So we're just going to this. Let's export this. Okay, let me just export this. Come to file, export as MP three. And just define the location where I want to save it. Just here I can call it recording one and just go ahead and save it and say, okay, no, exported this in MP three. I can come back to my cap. The media you can import media can go to, maybe I want to import it under this can just write click I can come to import directly from here. Go to my Cap Court desktop and you can see it over here recording one. Select it and import. Now if imported this, you can just select and drag and drop it into the time line. All right, so let me bring it here because this first time line has been muted. So let's hear a preview of what you have created. Hello and welcome to my child. This is just a test of audio that we want to use in Cap Court just for demonstration purpose, and that's perfect and it sounds exactly how I wanted it. Now let's select it and come to the basic editing over here you have a number of things that you can do. For example, I want to normalize it because you have just normalized the profile of the sound and then I want to enhance the voice and now the enhancement who come in different forms, you can do noise clean up and you can add other things okay, reduce noise and so on. So let me hear this. After selecting noise clean up and at the 75% whether it has improved a little bit. Hello and welcome to my child. This is just a test of undo that we want to use in cap court for demonstration purpose. I think that's perfect. It has made a very good reduction in the noise and it has enhanced the voice in general. So let's reduce the number. Let's hear what it's going to be. Hello and welcome to my child. This is just a test of undo that we want to use in cap court. That's for demonstration purpose. I think this is good. So if you want to go on and enhance reduce the noise more, you can select this, you can see noise is reduced already. So you can just go back and Let's play one more time to Yeah, welcome to my child. This is just a test of audio that we want to use inputs for demonstration purpose. I think this is very good and one thing I like with Cap Court is that it reduces the noise without actually affecting the quality of the voice of the recording that you have presented to it. So that's how to play around with the features. If you want to add in vocal isolation, you can equally select and play around with it, also from here. Okay, you have the vocal isolation. You can remove the vocal and you can, oh, welcome to my child. This is just a test off, I think. I don't like it, so I can just keep it without the vocal isolation. My child, this is just a test off. Okay. So this is basically how to play around with the features. Now, over here you have the voice changer. All right, so if you want to add, this is the original one. If you want to change it, you can change it using different features. As you click on any, you can just see, let's say this deep. Hello, I'm welcome to my child. This is just a test off, wouldn't you want to cup cat stu. I think this is too deep. But you can control the pitch from here. You can try to reduce the deepness and the timber over here. Unless here I approve you. One more time. Hello and welcome to my child. This is just a test. I think this is deep and you cannot completely change my voice. If you don't know that it's me, you will not even know. Because it has created the change, but it has reduced the deepness. The whole idea is for you to understand that you can change the voice and you can play around with the controls over here. You can put even key frames to enhance or to increase or decrease the deepness of the voice at some instance. Okay, so this is voice changer. You can go ahead and try with all of this. And the last thing we will look at is the speed. You can increase the speed also from here. Let's go back to the voice changer and go back to original because I don't want to change the voice and welcome to my child. This is just a test. Okay, so let's go to speed. Speed is your ability to increase the speed of the clip so you speak faster or you can slow it down, so you speak slower. Let's have an increase because the normal one is the 1.0 which is a normal speed. If you make it 2.0 it's going to shorten The clip that we've just shown, seen over here is the clip had been shortened, which means I'm going to split pretty fast. This is, I think this is too fast. So let's say 1.5 is good. 1.5 let's hear 1.5 chi. This is just a test, okay? If you want to reduce the length. Also to speak more of a slow motion, you can come down to maybe 0.5 Hello, I'm welcome to my Chances, so you get the message. The whole idea is to be able to incorporate different things, whether you want to speak longer or you want to speak lower. Depending on your choice, you can go ahead and play around with this feature. All right, you can play out the speeding of the clip even on video selection. All you need is just to select the video clip and you can come to a speed over here. And you can increase it also to 2.0, which will reduce the size and then make the character play pretty fast. So in this case you can see it's going to play pretty fast, the feature that we have in the beach. Okay. So you can use it on any, depending whether it's a video or an audio, you can increase or decrease the speed accordingly. Okay, so I hope you enjoy this video. This concludes the tutorial on how to play around with the enhance the voice or audio in general. In the next class, we are going to look at how to add basic coloration to our Feutage to enhance the looks of what we have as videos. The next time. Thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Bye. 12. Adding Colouration: Right. In this class we're going to learn how to add basic coloration on our clip and see how we can enhance the looks of our video in cap court. Let's start with this footage Okay, that we have. This is a bit of a flat footage that I've imported at the beginning of this video. Let me create a cut here so that we can have a before and after so they can understand the impact of what you are doing. You can select Come and B here. So we can have this section of the clip to showcase the before. And we're going to edit this section of the clip. Selecting the clip that we're going to edit or we're going to add the basic coloration on. We can select it and come to the properties panel over here. Then you can go ahead and come to adjustment over here. From adjustments you can see there are three different major things to touch. The first one is the basic color editing color correction, which you can do whether you have a lot. If you have a lot, you can easily bring it in for beginners. Lots are just like preset color templates that you can easily drag and drop. And it changes your color directly without you having to suffer yourself playing around with the temperature, the saturation, and so on. With lots, you can just directly copy and pest and you can just reduce or increase the intensity as it comes. In this case, we're not going to use lots, we're going to use basic color adjustments in the adjustment. You have this much option. You can play around with the temperature, for example, I can increase the temperature a bit. I can come down here. The tint, I may just reduce it a little bit. Then the saturation, I can up the saturation for this much. Okay, so you can see we are just creating a little t of increase. It's just very little. But then later you see the bigger impact, the exposure. I want to reduce the exposure a little bit down here. I think negative six is good. The contrast, I want to increase the contrast a little bit. Then the highlights. Okay, the highlights, I mean, increase. I'm making it very much clearer. Let's move it a little bit so that we can be able to see what we're creating. Okay, you can see the shadows. I can just bring down the shadows a bit so that I can have more of the quality of the video coming out. The brilliant, I mean, just keep it or increase a little bit so you can see, it's now very visible. Now down here, you can see the sharpness. I do increase the sharpness a little bit. And then the particles I don't touch, defiling, I don't touch, I don't use Genet. But in cases if you want to be using Vig net, you can always be using vignet by just selecting. And you can see we've added some vignet, we can come down here to reduce. And then you can see you now have the Gnet. But in most cases, I don't touch on vignet because it's not something I use. This is the basic one, this is just very basic editing in the color. You can enable this protect skin tone to enhance the skin tones. If you're dealing with skin tones directly, okay, you can try to see the before and after. Let's click back so you can see this is the before, what we have at the before and then this is what we have after. Okay. You can see the before and the after and confirm that there's a little bit of an improvement on this. All right, so to go further with this improvement, I can come to the H cell and usually I stay with the red color and play around with the saturation a bit. Can add some little of the saturation. And then the lightness also, I add a little bit. I don't touch on most of these colors. So the next one I'll go to is the curves. The curves is very easy and it's very nice. You can select, usually we can have different kind of curve. You can see the luma curve, the red curve, the green curve. Depending on what you want to hands. In my case, I usually do everything on the luma. So you can create three dots. I usually create three dots because my target is to create an S shape. Okay, so you can have these three dots. So let's come back here and try to increase this a little bit. If you go up, you can see you are going to have more of the lighting. And if you come down, you're going to have too much of the blacks. Okay? So you have to come down a little bit. And then over here at a little bit of the light, don't make it too much. If not, it's going to affect what you're doing. All right, so let's bring this down. The whole idea is just to have a bit of an S shape, so you can have it in a bit of an S shape. At the top you increase, and then at the bottom we'll reduce. Okay, so you have this much S shape. Okay, So we can come down and see the before and after to appreciate what we have done. This is the before and this is the after. And we can confirm to you that there's much improvement in what we have here. Okay, So it's up to you to just go on and try to see how you can play around with the different features. See what and what you can touch. But then pay attention to what is happening at the canvas so that you can be able to know how much of a change you're adding to your videos. Okay. So, but basically at beginner level, this is how to add in or play around with the coloration within cap court. Okay, I hope you enjoy this video. In the next class, we're going to look at how to use cap courts to remove the background of an image or a video. Okay? So until next time, thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Right. 13. Removing Image and Video Backgrounds: In this class we're going to learn how to remove background in both videos and images within Cap Court. Okay. So regardless of what kind of color you have, Cap Court does a good job in removing the background of your subject. So in some cases, in some software, you have to have solemnly a green background. Okay? So you have to have a green background behind you in order for you to have a fantastic removal. But in Cap Court, I think Cap Court is doing a very good job. Even without a green screen, it can still give you a reasonable result. So to start with, let me open one of my video footage that I've just downloaded. For example, this one you can just add it, drag it, and drop it here. You can use any of your footage. Also if you want, you can just go ahead just to follow along. You can drag and move it to somewhere. This is this butterfly with the green background. When you select the footage, the default is you come to a video over here and you can see Remove Background over here as an icon. You can click on this and then you have two methods to remove this background. The first one is you can do chroma key removal, which you have to select a particular color, in this case, that you want to remove. I think this is doing the best job because this one has some perfection in the removal and you can increase or decrease the intensity of what is being removed. Let's try with the first option. The second option is the auto removal, which I think has no control. It does just the removing automatically. Let's start with the first case, which is the Chromakin. You can select chromic key. Then over here you have to pick the color that you want to remove. And then you can adjust accordingly using this intensity and shadow. Let's click on this color picker. Just click and then select anywhere within the subject. Let's say I'm selecting this point and this is a subject now that I want to remove from this video background, you can go ahead and play around with the intensity from here. With just a single click, you can see just a single movement. It has done the magic of removing the entire background. All right, so you can try to play with the video and see what happens. I think it has done a fantastic job in removing the background of the subject. This is the first option. In cases when you have or you face any more challenge, you can play around with the intensity, either increase or decrease the shadow or the app. This is the first method. Let's try the second method, which is the auto removal. Let's undo this. Let's uncheck the chroma key. And then this time around, we're going to do with the auto removal. We can click on the auto removal, and you can see right now it has removed some portion of the subject as well. You can see it is giving us a very bad result To me, I prefer to use the chroma keying because you have a lot of control over the subject as regards what is being removed and what is being kept. Let's uncheck this. The second thing is we can try on any subject without even green background. Let's try on this. Let's say we have these guys and we want to remove their background. We can select. So let's try your two method select and come to video properties, remove background. Let's try with the chroma che in first. So we can select but in this case the color is not uniform. This is where we're going to face another problem as well. So we can select the colopica, we want to remove this, and once you increase, you can see it's going to do a very, very bad job. Okay, so depending on the situation, you can go ahead and select whether to go with the Colopica. But advisably, if you have a uniform background, that's when you can use the colopica. But you don't have a uniform background, it's better to use the auto removal. So let's use the auto removal in this case, let's check the chroma key and let's use the auto removal in. It has done a fantastic job. Okay. So you can see now with the auto removal, it has just given us very clear and it has removed the background very perfectly. So this is how it is done in videos, depending on what kind of video you have, whether it has a background or it doesn't have a background. Now another thing we can do, let's apply the same feature on images. Let's go back to this, and then we can go to images. Let's select these guys and we can drag and drop this. Let's play here. So what I want now is I want to remove the background. But again, in this case, I don't have a unique or uniform background. So advisably I can use the auto removal. So while selecting, come to remove background. And then you can come to the auto removal over here. And I think you can see that directly. It does a good job by just removing the background directly. All right, so this is another way. And one last thing that I want to show us is that we can actually replace the background that we have, the subject that we have, with another background just to confirm that the background had been removed. So let's say in this case we have this background, you can just drag and drop it behind this and we're going to have this. Okay, let's move this above, we have this behind appear as if they are in this particular room, the subject as if they are in this room together with the kids. Very nice. This is a very fantastic feature. They appear as if they are in this room the same way with the other guys. You can take the background and move it here, for example. Then you can just move the subject up a little bit. Let's bring it up to here. You can see right now it is appearing as three of them actually talking in this room. Okay. So this is basically how to remove the background of both images and videos in cap court and probably replace it with another background so it looks much more professional. So you can go ahead and give it a try depending on what you want to remove the background or whether it has a uniform background or it has non uniform background. You can just go ahead and play around with the different features using the Chromkin if it has a uniform background, or using the auto removal if it doesn't have a uniform background. Okay, so I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching and I look forward to meeting you in the next class, Bye. 14. Adding Stickers, Effects and Filters: All right, so in this class we're going to learn how to add in stickers, effects, and filters. Okay? Within cap court, if you remember in the previous classes, there's one. We covered how to add adjustments or color correction or adding color in general, where we talked about how to add lots, okay? So lots are just presets that we have within cap court that you can use to change the view of your, you teach. So for example, let's look at how to add lots a little bit. So I have a lot that I just want to show you how to add. You can come to adjustments and this time around you come to lots. Okay, so you can come to import. You can just go ahead and maybe search for lots from here. I've just downloaded it. Then I have to maybe. Let's go to my downloads. Let's click here. You can see Zip. You can come over here, three cinematic lots. You can come over here and just select any just for a try to see how it's going to. This is one of the lots that we have. I want to add it to this one so I can just drag and drop it or you can hit on the plot sign. You see it's been added to my video, so in form of adjustment, so you can see what it has given to my video. So this is it. You're free to go ahead and change the intensity of the lots from here in case if you notice that it has given me too much of a green, I can remove or you can go ahead and play around with the other green features from here. All right, So you can just kind of adjust, but the whole idea is for you to get the picture, that you can add lots and you can control the different lots that you have. You can add more and import as many as you want from here. Now in this class, we concentrate basically on adding stickers. Stickers are very useful also. You can just come to stickers and you have a number of them. Starting from the trending ones, you can see a number of trending stickers over here. Depending on what you're creating, you can just go ahead and drag and drop any. If you hover over and you discover that you have anyone that you like, you just for emphasis for example, I want them to show that to understand and this is what they are all concentrating on, which is this part. I can download this. All right. And once you click and download, you can just go ahead and add it to your timeline so it becomes part of your footage. I guess you can add it directly here. See as you hover over, you'll be able to see the effect it's going to have on your video. Let's drag it maybe. Let's say want it to cover this extent. Okay, Just for demonstration purpose, while selecting, you can decide to split around with the scaling. You can scale it to be something small because I just wanted to highlight the part that they're holding. You can just drag manually and showcase that this is what they're holding. This is just the effect of having stickers. Let's play this from the beginning, all right? They can be very, very helpful when you are trying to demonstrate a particular certain concept during your editing process. You can add them, there are many of them. You can see even the common form of MoGs, and if you have any kind of emphasis that you want to showcase, you can very much use them directly from here. You can see different types or you need just to give it a click and just download the one that you're going to download. You can see this one is very, very useful depending on what you're trying to create and it goes across this Christmas. If you are within a Christmas period, you can be able to use any of them for your content and they give out very, very professional look so that sticks. We have effects. Also, if you have any kind of effect that you want to add to a specific track or to a specific click. So you can see this one for example. There are different, different kind of effects. As you hover over the effect, you'll be able to see what effect is going to have on your video. So let's say for this one for example, is going to give us this happy birthday sign. All right, on our video. So when you select this, you just download it and you can click on this. And it's just going to add this very Christmas collage effect. All right, so you should be able to see the effect. Okay, I think that's kind of cool because it shows the Christmas effect and I think you get the message. That's how to add an effect. Let's try to add one more so that we can at least be able to picture what we're saying. Like this love sign, You can easily download it and then you can, All right, let's click on this to add plus sine again. You see you've just added it. And let's see what it does to our clip. I think that's fantastic. Again, you can play around with most of the features. If you select, you can change or tweak some of the features directly from here. You can rotate, you can increase or decrease the sizing of the love sign. You can increase or decrease the size from here. Then you can increase or decrease the speed in which it occurs. Okay, you can just go ahead and play around with it and the strength. You can play around with most of these features and you can key frame them as well if you're interested. All right, so that's about effect. So let's look at filters around filters again, there are kind of presets that you can easily select and apply to a given clip. For example, let's say in our case that we have this. Let's kind of try to free up all of these so that we can have some space. I always like to use this clip because it's very flat. You can always use it. So in filters, it's just like a preset of color, okay? So depending you can just check and see which of the colors gives you what you are trying to do. You can see this is food color and then you can see many of them. These are movies related. Okay? So once you just click and you download a particular one, you can just go ahead and with just one click and add it to your video. And then maybe, let's say we'll try something like this. You can see with just that click, it has added some effect to it. And you can come to the plus sign if this is what you want. Because with the downloading, you'll be able to see the preview of what it's going to do to your video. I think at this moment this is not what I want. So we can just search for something simpler that can actually depict what we are trying to add. Let's say something that could make it lighter and more colorful. All right, let's just come down a little bit. Or we can go up to just search for one more. Let's say this one or this. I think it's kind of cool. So let's see. Yeah, so I think this is cool, but we just have to make some adjustments to it. So we can just hit on the plus sign. You can see now we've added it, Now it's up to you to play around with the intensity. All right? While selecting the effect or the filter, you can come to the properties panel over here and exceed the effect. Right now it is at 100% You can just tricky to reduce the effect that's going to have on your video. I think this is a bit cool. But usually I'm not a fan of filters because there are strong presets that you can actually hardly control. Okay, Most of the effects that you may have are not going to be perfectly, because depending on the kind of clip that you have, I'd rather use the adjustments to change my coloration and so on. I prefer to use it manually. You can check around, depending if you like, any that you've seen can easily study it also and make it part of your favorites. Let's try to see this one. Let's select this and delete this. I think I prefer this one. We'll let it on the plus sign to add it. Okay. Right now you can see it is too dark, but even though the color is mature, but it's too dark and it makes video nearly black and white. You can reduce the intensity from here, so you can have a little bit of the effect on it. And I think it kind of looks quite professional. All right, so you can just go ahead play around with it however you want it. I think this concludes this tutorial on how to kind of use cars effects and filters on your video. Just go ahead and give it a try. Take any of your clips and try to see how you can play with some of these filters and adding different kind of effects depending on the message that you're trying to create. And you can share what you're working on on this platform. So we can just review, even though at the end we're going to carry out a bit of a simple project to demonstrate how some of these features and skills that we've learned can be applied to edit a simple video. So I hope this helps you. And this concludes tutorial on how to add all of these features. So thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in my next class. Bye. 15. Adding Captions: Okay, so in the last class we talked about how to add in different no stickers effects and filters within cap cut. And in this class we're going to talk about how to add in different Nel captions, both locally generated or locally imported and automatically generated. Now in this case, I want to use this sample recording that I've recorded with my microphone. Okay. From the Oudacity software that we've used. Hello and welcome to my child. This simple introduction and some little voice over that I made with Audacity. I want to use it as my source to just generate the captions on it. So let's start with the local one. If you have generated the caption, maybe somewhere you have it documented somewhere you can all the way come to the text over here and you can see local captions over here. So if you have it saved in RTLRc format, you can just go ahead and see import. And you can have get wherever you have this file saved and you can just import it directly and manage it within this media. Okay, So it's very easy and it can easily help you to synchronize across, okay, the clip that you're working on. But in this tutorial we're going to focus mostly on auto caption. Okay, so we have selected this clip that has some words because most of these ones that we have don't have any words in except background music. But this one has specific words, so that's why we selected. And then we can come to auto caption. Now once you're in auto caption, you can select the language that you want to translate to. There are multiple languages that you can easily translate to depending on strictly what you are trying to create. Now, in this case, we're going to focus mainly on English language. All right, now you can select to clear current captions. If you have some captions available, you can easily click on this to clear all of them. But in this case, I don't have any captions generated. And I can just go ahead select the clip that I want to generate the captions on. I can just go ahead and see generate and just give you some seconds. And it's going to do the captions and just automatically transcribe, generate the captions for me. You can see now within very few seconds it has generated the captions. Now it has not only generated the captions, it has given us all the properties, this much properties that you can change as regards the phone style and all of the text editing features. Regarding these very captions, you can see it has created a specific track for the captions. Let's try to play to see how fantastic this could be as regards accuracy and how it's been generated. So let's hear this. Hello and welcome to my child. This is just a test of audio that we want to use in Cap Court for demonstration purpose. I think this is fantastic. It has helped us to generate the captions very, very perfectly. Now you have the option to select any of them and you can come over here to basic text. You can change the phone style. Okay, If you have any font style that you're targeting, you can easily change it. The sizing, the font size, you can easily select and change it. Also from here you can just go ahead and select and you can change the sizing accordingly. I kind of like the sizing that they have here. And if you have any position, any pattern that you want, maybe bold, you could utilize. You can underline, you can put in all of these features if you are interested. And then the kissing. You can use upper case, lower case, and you can change the coloration to any color of your choice. But based on what we have, for the fact that we are working on a blank background, which is black, I think white color is fantastic here. And you can change the character number and lines. And then the alignments you can align left, right, and center. I think center is perfect. And then the preset styles, you can check from the available preset styles. Okay? Depending on what kind of presets you want to work on. The yellow color also is good, and black can change. And you can scale it up or down using the scale feature. Okay, scale it up or down. And the position, you can manually, on your own, change the X and Y. X as well as the rotation. You can rotate to any angle of your choice, as well as the pattern. Okay? So you can change, you can apply left, right, center using some of these features. All right, and then over here you have the blending feature, the opacity. If you want to add in stroke, you can just click to add stroke and change the coloration of the stroke. Maybe it is something like a white color. And you see right now. And you can play around with the intensity of the stroke, also from here. Okay. You have so much control as regards the properties of the text. If you want to add a background also you can add background and change the coloration of the background however you want it. So much control that you can do if you want to have the glow effect, the shadow effect, and so on. So you can just go ahead and customize and play around with this as you wish. Depending on what you're creating, you can just go ahead and generate your captions with it. So I think this concludes this tutorial on how to add captions, be it manually or automatically generated within cap cuts. I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Bye. 16. Sample Video Editing from Scratch: Right, so in this class we are going to learn how to do some basic editing from scratch, some video editing from scratch using cap cut a starting from scratch. After this, maybe we can just start by creating a simple project. We can restart everything to create a simple project. Restart everything. You can come to the file over here and you can see a new project. And then you can see, yes, I usually you want to create a new project. I can say okay to this. And then everything is now going to kick start back to the fresh page. Okay, so this is a fresh pitch. Now, we've explained earlier on the first thing you need to do is to create a name for the project. Let's say we give it a name. Sample editing from scratch. The original path, you can see it from here. This is the name, and this is the path that you've defined. This is where you're going to find it. It's going to be under this project dislocation, Okay? The first thing we need to do, like we've explained earlier, to start by importing media. You can be on the Import tab and you can just go ahead and click on this import. You can navigate to wherever you have your media. For example, in this case I have this media stored here, I have the clips and I can just select all of them and just click on Import. And there going to be imported in my media being over here. So the first thing I need to do is this is just like a mini video that I want to create. I can on my own, select the area. You can double click to start playing on the panel so that you can define the area that you want to carry out. Okay? So at this point I want to see from this point I can just hit on the letter to define the point, okay? And then I can allow you to keep playing, maybe up to somewhere around here. And I can just hit on the letter to define my outpoint, and this is what I want. So I can just click on this plus sign to add it to my timeline. So I have this as an intro sort of into my video. And then I want to add these guys because they are kind of swimming, so I want to add everything and I can just drag and drop them here. So demonstrating that from this view of the overall sea. Then these guys just suddenly jump into the water and having very good view underneath the ocean. You can see what they're seeing. But then I want to add another feature, for example, this video. I want to add it at this point. So I can just click to Add. And you can see I've added this video and I don't want to be this much long. So I can use the common B to create a cut here. I just wanted to demonstrate the view of this fish. All right, so I think up to this point is okay. So I can select this and delete if I have any other one. For example, I want to showcase this. I can just hit on this plus sign. And I don't want to showcase everything. Also, just the path that you can just show that this guy is swimming peacefully. And I can just hit on the common bead to create a cut. Or I can come over here and hit on this to zoom to fit in the timeline. So I can, on my own, come to the edge. I can drag this up to my clip. Now, I've created a trim up to this point. Okay. I think this brings me all the footage that I want into this. You can see demonstratively, I've added a number of clips. I think the last one could be this one, just to finish up the demonstration, because in this illustration, I may want to show you how to add coloration into this. And this is kind of flat. So let's say I go to this point I create Come and B, and then select this section and delete. I have everything I needed on this point. The only thing I need to add is right now I need to add a transition because they easily cut into each other. I need to add a transition, very fantastic transition. You can see this one, they just cut into this one, which is what I don't want. I can go ahead and come to transitions over here. I can check on the different transitions that we have. You can see, as we've explained, in terms of adding transition, you can just hover over to be able to see what you're going to add. In my own case, I always like this slide transition. I don't want this blow the basic one. You can see these are just simple transitions, The flip transition. And you can use any of them actually, but in my own selection, I kind of like this. So let's add, drag it and drop it here. You can see we say okay to this and let's see how good it's going to be. Yeah, I think this is good. Let's look at another one. Maybe we can add this one. You can just drag and drop it here again. You can extend the length of the transition. Also by selecting or by coming over here like we've explained. You can extend the length, okay, select. And you can extend the length of delicacy just perfectly and professionally transit to the next clip. You can have another one, so we can add multiple. For example, in this case I don't want glitchy. We can try distortion. I don't know if you like it. Distortion is good sometimes. Let's try to add something like this. Let's see. So quickly this thought into the other image you see. I think this is fine. You can add as many as you want. This one, this vintage, you can use it also. Let's see, this one. I think we can add this here. Now we have finished adding all of our transition. The next thing is to make more meaning to this. Let's add a background music to this. Okay. We'll bring it to the beginning. And then we can go to audio and check the library. Okay. Sound effects. If you want to have sound effects and so on, you can just go ahead and select any one of them. In my own case, I want to add just background music. Okay, back, don't enter, and it's just going to search for me and bring out a background. And one of the ones I like is this base for video background like we've explained earlier. You can just start it. We can hit on this plot sign to just directly added to your video clip. We can come over here, because I want it to end here. Select this, Use control B to create a cut. And select the other side and delete. Now one thing that I have explained, which I'm going to use this also because the sound is very, very loud, I want to introduce the fade in and fade out. We can select on the clip, come to the properties and add. The first one is we can reduce the volume if you want, you can reduce the volume, and then we can add in the fade in. You can see it from the left hand side here. Add the feed out as well from the right hand side. Okay, in most cases I want them to come together. You can just hear the overview. How it starts from zero and grows up to 100 and then goes from 100 down to zero. Yeah, I think this is okay. Only that I need to lower the volume a little bit because it's a bit too loud. Bring it down a little bit. So we've added power background music. Then the next thing is we have to add some texts to just demonstrate something. Let's go back here. Come to text again. We have a number of texts that we can have different effects, we can check out from the template. If you have any template, any specific one that you're targeting, you can just easily use it to add. Let's say we just want to demonstrate something like Welcome to Lanai. Welcome to the Cameroon Highland. Cameroon Highland is one of the islands that I've visited. Also, let's select any of the text, assuming we want to use this one. All right. You can just directly select to add it. I think I like this because of the coloration and the input. 30 minutes. Let's welcome to here then over here, Cardio heat. Let's Cameroon Highlands. Okay, so down here we can just put in a militia, for example. All right, let's hear this. We can extend how long this is going to be, let's say it's just going to be from the beginning probably up to this point. Let's split All right. It then translates to this. Let's put in some texts, maybe showcase enjoying the beach or something like that. Let's select any, let's say we go something like this. We can hover over it to see the effect. So let's say we go something like this. Select this, okay, we can select this, add it, select this, and Add. And then we can just give it some concepts. Let's strike up to here on your own. If you don't want to see this, you can select and delete. Can remove this section, probably because I don't want it. Maybe I just want to have this one and I can just enjoying the beach. We can have it. Something like this can play. Let's have a preview of what we've just done. I think that's good and it looks perfect. We can add another one if you want. We can copy this. Copy and paste it. Then over here we can just come over here and say, Enjoin the Adventure. The view for example, of the underneath. Okay, view of the underneath. You can just lets up to this point. To this point, okay, we can just try to have a preview again. You get the message. So this is what we want to just keep adding. And you can keep adding whatever you want. You can see come over here if you want. At this point you can use plain text. You can come back here and put in effect. If you want to use an effect, you can just go to the basic. Let's say we added text directly. You can just select, click and add a text. And we can just select and say, thank you for watching, Thank you for coming. We can just select and reduce the sizing, or you can do that manually. From here, select and drag it here. Or you can put it here just for visibility sake. You can see right now we've added some texts. Yeah, I think this is perfect. Now, the next thing is we can add some coloration to our footage so that it just pops out. We're adding something and we're making some meaning to our video. Let's say this last one, we can select it and can come all the way to adjustments. If you have any lot, you can go ahead and add the lot directly like we've explained. You can add this lot. Or if you have anyone that you can import, just go ahead and import your lot directly and then use it on this video. But for the purpose of this, I just want to use my own normal adjustment. So I can come over here to adjustment and I can come to the temp adjustment. I can increase the temperature a little bit. The tint, I reduce a little score to the saturation and increase the saturation a bit. Then the exposure, I can lower the exposure so it becomes a bit darker. Increase the contrast a little bit. Okay, So you can be able to see even the highlights can increase the highlight. So you can see clearly the shadows. A lower it a bit, you can see the clarity of the video. It's popping out a little bit. The brilliant I can reduce if you want, make it too much. It brightens out too much. I think a little bit of this is okay. You can sharpen bit everything. All of the components become sharper. And the particles, I don't want to add much. The fading and the vignet, I don't add much here. Go to the HSL, which I don't touch much here also except for the tint as well as the saturation. A little bit of the saturation. From here we go to the curves, which is the last part. So we create like I've explained the other one, we have like three to four points. So we can create a little bit of an S shape to select this and bring this down a little bit. And you can see now the color is popping out very, very clearly. Can see, you can just raise this a little bit. So the key thing is to have a little bit of an S shape which we have just created. Okay? So I think this is very much okay to what I want, so you can go ahead and play with the other features, but for now I think these are the basic ones that I want. Okay, If you want to add any recording, if you want to have any recording in the background, go ahead and add it directly. But at this point, at this moment, I don't want to add anything. These are the basic things I want to add. You can go ahead and experiment with your own and see what and what you can add for your project. So I think this concludes the tutorial on how to just create a project and then adding some of these basic things that we learned through this course. Okay, in the next class we are going to look at how to export this creation in different formats within Cap courts. All right, so I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Bye. 17. Adding Keyframes: All right, so in this class we are going to learn how to add in key frames. Okay? Key frames are very, very important to showcase some part of a clip or to show emphasis on some part. And maybe zoom in and zoom out in cap court. Okay. So you can use it in videos as well as in audio, and sometimes you can as well use it on images depending on what you're trying to create. So let's start with a video and see how we can use key frames to highlight some things or to play around with some certain features. So let's move this playhead to somewhere close to this point, assuming this is now just directly flat and maybe I want to show key some point. So let's move this to the beginning of this clip. Okay, you can notice that it's being cut. So let's say from the beginning here, I wanted to start by selecting the clip. We have its properties over here. The factor I want to use is the scale factor. So at this point I want to just add a key frame to show that I want the clip to stay at this point. And then I can move it to any location of my choice from here. And let's say from this point I can add another key frame easily. So if I move a little bit, that's when I wanted to have an action. Okay, so just a little bit, maybe one or two frames. I can maybe zoom into something. I want to zoom into this path. So I can just zoom in. And on my own, I can use my hand to just showcase that this is the ipad I want to highlight. And then maybe after this, I want it to remain showing the ipad until this moment. Okay. It can continue to demonstrate the use of the ipad, so I can add another key frame. All right, so it's going to remain showing the keypad after this point. And then from here I can just make one small move, maybe one or two key frames. And then I can add another key frame and probably bring this one to 100. Okay, so when I double click, it goes back to 100. So I can just resize it and make sure it clips like this. Okay, so what I'm trying to say is what I've just done is that I started from zero when there's no any scaling up. And then I moved to this point where it remains at 100. Then it zooms in to show the pad and then up to this point, and then it zooms out. So let's have a preview of what I've just done. Okay, so that's perfect. Okay, so you can see that this is one of the powers of zooming in and out. You can zoom into any position of your choice. You can see right now I can select this because what I have just done, I didn't show the pad clearly. You can see my point is I want to show this and then up to this point, I want to show this up to this point. Okay, So this is my point. I just want to show up to this point. All right. So can check, you can see the zooming in at this point is what? Let's see. At this point the zooming in is 214 and I want it to continue up here to 214. And then it starts zooming in back 200, okay, back to 100. From here it back to 100. All right, so let's say from here, from here I can create another key frame over here. So let's add another key frame. And then we can now zoom it back to 100, 214-100 okay? So you can see right now it has zoomed back. And then we can just adjust it to this point. All right, so right now it's said, so when we try to play this from the beginning, let's see what I have just done. Okay, I think, let me do it one more time. Let me start from a fresh so that we can demonstrate it clearly. Okay, so at the beginning I add a key frame here. I add one key frame, and then moving up to this point, add another key frame, add another key frame. But then this time around I can move it. Okay? So let's say I move it one frame, add another key frame. I just move it at this point. Let me zoom in at this point. I zoom up to this moment, all right? So you can see the x and y exists. The positions have changed. But then this is my focus. I just want to highlight this part. And then we can move probably up to this point, still showcasing the part. And I add another key frame from here as well. Then from there I just move one or two frames and add another key frame. But then this time around I'm going to zoom back. Okay, I'm going to zoom back. Including the position, okay, the x and y position. Let's go back to 100. Let's go back to 100. Then I can move this, can move this up to here. Okay, so I think the position is now fixed. All right, let's try to see how we can play this from the beginning. You get the message. Just to showcase that we have used the key frames to zoom in and out of some features within our video clip. Okay, let's add the same key frame, but this time around on our audio like we've added, I have shown that when we were adding this background music. But then I want to show it again using this particular voice over that we've just recorded. Assuming at this point at the starting I want to maintain the volume. I want to add the effect on the volume. So I can select the clip, I can come over to the basic. You can see we have volume, I want to key frame on the volume only. And then you can see we've added a key frame. We move up to this point, maybe add another key frame. But then I want to change in the volume from that point. I want to bring down the volume, you can see. I want to bring up the volume, you can see if you want to have a sharp increase, this is gradually increase and then you can move to this point, maybe it's going to remain on this. And then up to this point, I can just add another key frame and then sharpen out, I can add another key frame just two frames after this. And then I can zoom out, maybe up to this point, I can add another last key frame. What this does is you can, on your own, manually, from here, reduce this. So you can see we have this flat nature up to this point. Then suddenly the volume increases and then it decreases down like this. If you want to, you can use this one also to just maintain the position or you can decide to move this. So you can have or you can move here, so you can create another one so that you can see the rise in the sizing. Okay, so you can see it just gradually rise again probably. Oh, it's just go back to the way it was. So you can hear the sound like we've explained. Welcome to this is so it went so high and very loud, you can allow it. Then you just notice the sudden drop in the audio as a test of Odio gradually dies down because there's a key frame and it affects the volume of the Odio See. So demonstration purpose, whole idea is to be able to use the key frames to vary the position or the audio to apply it, to change the scaling. And you can apply it on any effect. Cannot apply on falling fed out, you can apply on other features. For example, let's check the voice changer and know the speeding. You cannot only the volume you can use keyframe on, but on the videos you can be able to add key frames on evil rotation and so on. You can see on the position you can add key frame as well as on rotation. Let's try one more time to see how we can add key frames to this every clip. Okay, as zooming, we select this clip and we want to add, but this time around I want to key frame even the position. Okay, So I can select this, let's say we add the key frame. We come to basics and we can say we want to add key frames as regards scaling, which is a size and less position as well. We add scaling and position. Let's say we keep it fixed here up to this point. We can still keep it fixed by adding another key frame to this as regards both the scaling and the position. Then we can move to probably one or two frames after this, and then we can zoom in. Okay, so you can see we've zoomed in, but then our focus is the pad. So you can see we've moved the pad, and because we have really used the key frames on the position as well, you can see right now everything is being monitored. Now from this point, I wanted to stay on this show, casing the pad up to this point. And then I can add another key frame on the scaling as well as the position, okay, So then after this, maybe I add one or two frames, and then I can probably put in another key frame on both the position and the scaling. And then this time around, I'm going to come back to 100, which is double clicking on this. It's going to bring me back to 100, and then I can drag and bring it to no more. Okay, so let's try to play this so that we can see how we showcase, or we cannot directly show the part that you're working on. And then it goes back to the normal hello. Let me mute this and let's play this one more time. All right? So this is very, very perfect showcasing the ipad, the part that you're working on. And then going back, just take a look at the zooming in. Okay? And then it zooms out. That's perfect. If you want to increase the speed of the movement, you can do that also from here by moving the key frames. If you move them away, which means it's going to slow out in terms of the zooming in. If you move them closer, you can see it zooms in in a very slow motion. But if you move them very close, it's going to zoom in Button pretty, pretty fast. Can see very, very fast. So that's basically how to add keyframes on different objects or on different clips, be it a video or an audio. And we can do that also on the images. Let's try to see if we can add on images as well. So let's have this, let's do drag this and drop this here. And on the image you can do the same, just like the way you've done on the video. You can select, you can see, you can key frame all of this. You can do the position and the scaling as well, just like we've done. And you can move this, let's say we maintain this up to this point. We add another key frame, but then this time around we want to showcase this small gale. We can just zoom in up to this point. Then we can add one more key frame to frame the position and the scale. But then we can zoom in, but our focus is on this small little gale. So we can see we've zoomed into a. And then we can just move to maybe this point probably. And then hit on the key frames as regards position and the scale it. Now we add one more key frame just to demonstrate what we want to do to this point. And then here I want to scale it back to 100 and then move the position it to the end point. Okay, so let's see what we have just done as regards this. See it just zooms in to the girl and then it zooms back to where it was at the normal stage. Okay, so you get the message. So this basically concludes this tutorial on how to add key frames on both images, videos, and audios using cap Cut. Hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching. In the next class, we're going to look at how to do very basic editing from scratch. We're going to import some media, and we're going to carry out some of these key simple, simple tasks and skills that we've learned. So we can see practically how we can demonstrate and do some basic editing from scratch. I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you in the next class. Bye. 18. Exporting Videos : All right, so in the last class we talked about how to create a basic video from scratch. Maybe aligning some media clips and then see how we can just play around with them. Okay, so in this class we are going to learn how to export the video that we've just created. Assuming we have created this video and we like what we see, we like the creation. Let me play it one more time so that you can understand who's experience what we've created. And if you like, we can just go ahead and export it in different formats within this cap co, just a, well I think this is perfect. So the next thing is assuming I like what I see and I just want to export the creation that I've just done in cap to export. You can just come to the top right of here, we can see export. And you can click on Export. And then you can go ahead and define some of the features that you want to define as regards the export. The first thing is the name which we have given at the beginning. And the second thing is the location. Where do you want to save this export? After the exporting, you can click on this file to define the exact location where you want. You can navigate around. In one case, I want to come to the desktop. I want to save in a different location. Go to Desktop and then you can come to probably this, this Desktop tutorial and could just create another folder. And I can call it Output. This is output, Output folder, for example. I call it Output folder. And I can click Concrete and I want to save my video in this location, okay? I can say open to this. And it has now defined this location where it is going to export. Now the next thing is to look at the video properties. The resolution, I want to keep it at 1080 because it's perfect. Then you have the rate I want to keep it recommended. The code, usually H 20064 is perfect. But then these are other codecs if you want to try. And the format. I keep everything at default P four. I don't go for move the frame rate, I keep it at 30 frame rate, pass can as we've set it at the beginning. The audio also, I don't touch anything. I want everything to be a default. It gives you the perfect sizing and the perfect quality when you go with the settings. Okay, If you want to check copyright, you can enable this to check copyright. In case of if you are uploading to other platforms like Youtube that can give you copyright strike. Okay. So if you are setting with what you have, you can see the estimated duration of the clip that you've created and the estimated size, what you're going to export. If you're sitting and like what you see, you can just go ahead and see export directly from M and it's going to start ranging and exporting. I'm glad I'm just turning out to Paul. If you want, on your own, you can link up your Tiktok account or your Youtube account and you'll be able to export directly to those accounts. And you can define the privacy from here, whether you want to go public or to stay private. And then you can add some other features from here. Once you click on Share, it's going to share on your Tiktok as well as on your Youtube channel from here. But you have to be signed in. So let's give you some seconds to finish the P rendering and generating the video, and I'm going to play it at the end of this. Okay, so this concludes this tutorial, or this class on how to export your videos from Cap to your system. Okay, in the next class we're going to look at just general conclusion about the course.
