2. Introduction to Canva: Welcome doubtless in this
tutorial wish and we're talking about what exactly is Canva and how you can
use it as a beginner. So let me start by explaining
what exactly is Canva. As you can see, canva is a graphic design tool which
is fairly popular now. It has lot more than 100
million subscribers now, as mentioned over their website. So that itself
speaks volumes about the popularity and
usability of this tool. There are plenty of
graphic designing tools available in the market. So what stands camera apart
is that it's ease of using. You can use it very easily.
It's very intuitive. Interface is very user-friendly, and it scrolls head and
shoulders above competitors like Photoshop and
Adobe Illustrator. I'm not saying that it
can replace all these advance our quiz that I
just mentioned completely. But it is getting
advanced by the day. And it can certainly
do most of the tasks done by this or when norms are pressed
into designing trade. And top of that, it does not have a very long
learning curve. You can virtually master
it in few sessions, as in when you use it, you'll get better at it. It's so self-explanatory
that you don't need much of the help once you
get the hang of the things with little
practice and it'll time, you can become a Cadbury's
adder was par excellence and create professional
level graphics using this amazing tool. In the next video, I'll
talk about what our Canva templates and how
you can choose one. Or you're designing needs. Thank you for watching this. Keep learning, keep watching. See you in the next video.
3. How to Leverage Templates in Canva ?: Welcome learners. Welcome to this video
on Canva templates. In this video we
shall talk about quota Canva templates and how you can use it
for your projects. Canva claims it has more
than 4.5 million tablets in its raw version and free version also boast of quite a
few thousand tablets, at least, if not more. And the stock of tablets is growing with every passing day. So you are never
short of templates of virtually every guy possible. Kendra. So what exactly
tablets does for you? Templates make it easy for
you to design your graphics, as you will see in this video, I'll be showing you how you can pick a doublet and how you can modify it according to your requirements
and your creativity. There's a search bar in Canva. You simply needs to **** that kind of graphic
you want to make. Suppose I want to make
an Instagram post which is square in nature, that is 1080 by 10.0 pixels. I'll simply like Instagram here. And it will show me is, you can see there are at least half a dozen
graphic templates available. Let's precise dimensions
for Instagram graphics. So what I'm interested
in Instagram posts, which is squaring nature,
that is 1080 by 100. So I'll click this one.
Once I click this one, you can see there are
more than four legs, 66,843 tablets available. And you can pick any of them, especially in the pro version. Sin, there would be something
that will suit your record, but even in that flavor to it, suppose I decide
to pick this one. Now this template has quite
a few different elements. And whatever I'll
be talking about, this tablet or stool for
most employers in Canada. So here you can see this has a text element. This is a niche. This is another image, and this one is in the
background, is another image. So these are all
independent elements that are working on there. If you've ever walked on Photoshop or
something like that, you would understand
the concept of Laozi. Graphic designer. Graphic
designs are done in layers. So you work with each
layer and you can shift them forward or backward
as per your requirement. Same is true for Canva. Only difference is that
in Canvas is much, much more easy, convenient, and intuitive to do in comparison to some of the other
softwares like Photoshop. If I select a
particular element, suppose I've
selected this image. Let me see what I
can do with this. Whatever options
are available to me due to this particular element with the shown in
the head of hair, you can see there is
an additive is option, there is a crop option,
there is a flip option, and that is animate option. So I will talk about how
I could edit this image. Let me click over here. I cannot change the
colors of the semester. That option is not given. Usually with images, there is very little option
of changing colors, but certainly you can change the shades and hues
of those images, like we're doing here. For your convenience sake. Suppose I select this one, then the whole share of
this image will be changed. Or I can take this one. And furthermore, I
can even experiment with some other options
available down here. Suppose I want this one, then I'll use this one. You can see it opens
a whole lot of variations for me to pick from. I can pick anyone and experiment with it as
long as it goes with my creativity and
the other elements in the larger template. Suppose I pick this one. Then what I'll do, I'll simply tried to change
the background color, which is not going
well with this one. There are two colors
in the background is reddish, orange shade. So I can alter each one of them. Suppose I pick this red one, I can make it say yellow
and see how it appears. The whole hues and shades of the image background
has changed. I can change this oranges. Well, suppose I wish
to change it to blue, then it will become
bluish tinge here. And I can adjust
this later as well. I can even resize
it is I need to. You can see, I can put it
over the whole canvas here. And suppose I don't
like this one, these elements, I can change the colors of
these elements as well. I can make them say relish. And again, bluish of glue is
not going well with that. I can make it even, say, brownish in color
or any other shape, as per my whims and
fancies, this looks fine. Same value here. I can change this one
to the same color. Okay, one more
thing about Canva. Once you pick a color and use
it in particular element, that color will be shown in that document colors tab here, as you can see here,
it is mentioned in the document colors. So all the colors are used once, can always easily reused in other elements
of the same image. That makes it very much
consistent and easy for you. And you can create a
standardized image with a set of colors without
getting confused and without wasting time on
identifying the color that you use the last time around with some other element
in that template. Let me out of this one also. What I can do with this, again, I'll change that. **** to say this one. See, I can change it
independently for all the items. In this case there is option
of changing it in parts. I can change it for
parts as well as the element over here, that help flower thing, which is hanging over here. So once I'm done with this, I can certainly play
with the text here. This text is not
visible because of the changes that I've made to
the background and images. So let me change the color
of this text to say, it'll darker something
you have to darker, that will make it black. Now what is visible? If I want to alter
it? I can order it. Say their body. They can easily alter it. If I don't like this one,
I can change this font. I can make it to any of
the available fonts. There are quite a few
available in the free and there are endless variations
available in the region. Suppose I go for this
one or this one. It can easily be chaste. And I can reduce or
enhance the size of it. Once I feel I'm done with it and I've altered quite
a few things in it. I can easily download it. And it's a unique design which
has owned by me because I have designed it and I can
use it commercially anywhere. And whichever way I want, other than using the
editable template link for existing templates, you cannot create
editable tablets which you can sell in the
marketplace like Etsy. That isn't a section with Canva. But we'll talk about it at some other point in this course, or maybe later in some
advanced course in Canvas. But for your individual usage, templates are a great resource. Did save a lot of time. And you can just alter colors. She stacks fonts and
images here and there, and create unique designs
as per your requirements. So this was it in the
temporary, so Canva. In the next video, I shall be talking about how you can edit the camera images using these advanced
tools like effects, positions and
transparency of spectra. And you will get to know
a lot more about Canva if you are new to this
amazing, amazing tool. So keep watching, keep learning. See you in the next video.
4. Basic Editing Features in Canva : Welcome learners. In this video, we
shall be talking about some of the common editing
features of Canva. Let's see how we
can go about it. As I've taught you in
the previous video, how you can work with
the templates and create stunning designs
as per your requirements. I'm clicking on social
media and I'll be taking any template from the options available in social
media templates. Suppose I've decided
to pick this one. Then it gives me the
option to customize this template as per
our requirements. So I'll click Overhead. This template has eight pages. I may or may not
use all of them. It is my choice. Not every template
has multiple pages, but some of them
have multiple pages. It is up to you
how many pages you want or whichever
basis you want. Since this video is only for
the demonstration purpose, ILP only using first page, I'll be deleting rest of them. I can easily do it by
clicking over here. Let's delete icon is in
the top bar of every page. As you can see, I'm
deleting one by one all other pages and
only keep the one-page. Fine. Now I have this
space and in case I need to add more pages, I can always do it at anytime
during the design process. There's lots of
flexibility and Canva with respect to adding
or deleting pages. And you can add and
delete pages both in templates as well as
your own native designs where you start designing from the scratch and you don't
use any predefined template. Now let's see how I can
use editing features of Canva to polish this page
as per my requirements. Suppose I select this text here, the moment is selected. You can see there are
some options that appear on the top bar of
home screen of Canva. There is option to choose
colors, texts, colors. This option to make it bold, italic, and underline
that sector. And then there are options
for alignment adjustment. I can adjust it in
whichever way I want it. By default, it is
always left aligned. I can make it right at the
end or central alight. Then there's the option
to add elements and list. I can add multiple list
items in my graphics. This is for spacing. This
is very interesting. Very few people,
especially the newbies, use this feature, but it is
very, very powerful feature. I'll show you how
we can use this. There are two major verticals, and this one is letter
spacing and line spacing. When I click on the
letter spacing, I can increase the gap between the individual alphabets
within every line. As you can see over here, if I feel certain bonds are by default to cram for my design, I can always space them
better using this option. Then there is another option
named as line spacing. What it does, it
allows me to have some more space between the two consecutive
lines in my design. As you can see, that
is at play here. I want to change the
color of this template. Let me make it something else. I made it to yellow from green. Now, see, it also gives me
the option of Animate here. If any meat option is given for a particular element
beta background be to text beta image or any other element
in the graphic. You can use that. If it is not given, then
there's option to use that. So it is not with every graphic, but most of the elements will have this intimate option
and what it does for us. Let us see, I click over here. As you can see, I can make this sleek and just
see how it comes in. I can choose this party option. It will appear like this. Then this disk options. So don't go by the names, just go through the individual
tabs and see what works. So your design, but
don't overuse it. It is my advice
because overdoing it can look unprofessional. So keep it as simple as you can. That works for most disease. But nonetheless, there are
occasions when you want to use this animation options and
make your designs better, more funky and appealing. So these are some
basic design options. Earlier there used to be only
basic options like cries, ben, fade, bulb, by drift, etc. Now they have given this
combination option. This is a relatively
new feature. I'm not sure whether it will be available with every design. But certainly new
design should have this combination feature,
which is very exciting. Coming to the animations, there is a default timing
of 5 s in every animation. If you use it. Last animation I used in
this graphic was drift. So it is giving me
five-second default time, but I can always alter it. I can make it say 6 s, 7 s, 8 s, whatever I want or I
can reduce it to 1 s. Or even in decimal, I can go to 0.1, 0.2. So there's lot of flexibility in terms of timings of animation. Timing means how fast
or slow and emission will appear or disappear
from the screen. Next in line is very important. Feature will ungroup all of these elements in this
particular template. As is the case with other templates, are grouped together. If I want to move
them in isolation, then I need to ungroup them
if they are grouped together. Or I can do the
reverse of it as well. I can group together separate elements for the
sake of convenience so that their alignment
doesn't disturb when I decide to move them
anywhere in the screen. So let's see how we
can go about it. Suppose these two
elements are there. I can group them, this
option of group or I can press simply Control G. These two will be
grouped together. Now these are grouped together. Now if I move them,
they will move together without affecting
their aspect ratio. The proportion of the
graphic will not be ordered even if I resize it, make it smaller or larger. As you can see over here,
I can ungroup them. Now they're separate
entities and I can move them separately without affecting
that group together. Next option in line is I
can use the uppercase here, or I can use the default
design over here. Uppercase means all my fonts will be shown as uppercase only. And if I don't select it, then whatever will
be the default for that particular font. It will appear for this, but minded some fonts will not be affected by this
options as they are only made to be used in uppercase or lowercase or
whatever the case may be. In that case, if you
want to change the case, you need to change
the font itself. So this was it in the basic
editing options of Canva. In the next video, I'll be talking about some more effects, some advanced editing
effects in the Canva. Thank you for
watching this video. Keep learning, keep watching. See you in the next video.
5. Advance Editing Features in Canva : Welcome learners. In the last video,
we talked about some of the basic editing
features of Canva. In this video, we
shall be talking about some advanced and intermediate
kind of features in Canva, which can come in handy for your day-to-day graphic
designing requirements. There is a bar in Canva on the
left side of the software. When you are accessing
it through a backstop. For the movie, there will be slightly different
orientation. This bar includes some editing
options which will come in very useful when
designing your rough cuts. So primarily we will be talking about only those options today. First and foremost
is elements here. What is there in elements? Let us check. In elements. You can draw lines
and different shapes like arrows, circles,
rectangles, triangles, rhombus is inverted triangles, and all sorts of geometrical
shapes that may be required from time to time
within your graphics. You can have the
heart shape here, the dialog box of blockchain, stars there and whatnot. Then plenty of
geometrical shapes. You can choose any
one of them or multiple of them as
per your requirements. For instance, if I'm choosing this one, this will appear here. Again, I can edit it
the way I wanted. I can change the colors
and other effects, etc. I can add animation to this. Like I have told you
in the previous video, how you can add animation
to your graphics. But I'm again reminding
here in case or if I've missed telling you
in the previous video, animation is only
limited to your video's, not for your static imagery, for your PDF files, your animation will not work in. So if you are downloading
a video format, than certainly all your
animation will be shown in that video that you
make when Canva. And you can make plenty
of different kinds of videos with mobile layouts, with normal layouts and all
kinds of square videos. You can make plenty of different videos for
mercy and Canva. Coming back to elements, it is not only about
geometrical lines alone. You can have different shapes like flowers, like stickers. If you want to explore it, you can explore it by clicking
this expanding arrow. And you can see
there is plenty of different imagery, different
animated graphics. Kind of Jeff's used in your graphic designing
process in Canva. Next in line is here. Upload option. Now this is very,
very useful option. What happens in Upload option? It allows you the ability to
upload your own graphics. Suppose you have some personally click photographs or photos taken from some other
personal data bank or from some other source. And you want to include
in your canvas graphics. This is a way to do it. Simply press the Upload
button, upload your files. And whenever the Cordova
nuclease in your system, you can fetch it,
browse the bath, and get the photo in
your Canvas dashboard. Once the photo is in
the Canvas pages, stay there for ever. You can use it multiple times. You can add all the
effects and features to your personal
photographs too much in the same way as you can do with any other
folder available. Canva, next is the text option. What is the next option? Three by default,
options are given. You can add heading,
you can add subheading, and you can add body text here. Let me just show you
how they appear. This is heading slightly bigger. If you need an intermediate
kind of texts, you should click Subheading. And if you need a very small
kind of paragraph texts, then you should go
for the third option. Right? Now. If you don't want any of the three options
available here, then you can go for some of the standard animated fonts
available in Canva minded. Most of them are the big ones, but there are still like this one which is available
in the free version. So suppose I go for
this particular one, then I can easily
customize this one, change your Scholar,
other effects. And I can add animation
to this as well. So it is up to me. It is just an idea, just a predefined
color combination. If I don't find it suitable
for my requirement or if it is not going well with the background of my image, then certainly I can change
it the way I want it. In this project folder, all your projects which you
have created when we saved. So this is for your reference, your previous project
in case you want to extract those projects. Next is photo option Canvas. Plenty of free and
paid photographs. That is for the free version as well as for the pro version. You can pick any photographs
or you simply need to type in the search bar what
kind of photograph you need. Suppose I need to get
the photograph of a dog. I'll simply write dog here. It will show me under
some photographs of dogs, both Pro as well
as free versions. And I can pick any photograph as per my requirement and again, resize it, animated, add
effects to it like this. I can add this Duotone
features is very, very useful in changing shades
and hues of your images. I can experiment with this. And one very important
feature that you can do with Your
photograph is you can remove the backgrounds of
your photographs and just use the photograph itself
without a background. In the pro version,
it is very easy. In the free version you need to take help of
some other software, which I'll be talking
about in a separate video. And suppose I want this image
without the background, then I'll go to Edit image and
click on this pro feature. Just noticed it's a pro
feature background remover. I'll click it in a
matter of seconds. This photograph will be without the background and
I can resize it, we use it in
whichever way I want. Just see how beautiful it looks. I can resize it. I can arrange it wherever
in the screen I want and use it according to my
creativity and requirements. And in case I want to
restore the background, there is a very simple option available in the paid version. I need to click on
the restore here, select my brush size and simply just drag my mouse
over the photo, the portion I want
the background back. Suppose I voted
partially back again, I can have that option also. It may look appealing and fascinating in
some of the designs. But if I want it full deck, I can get it that as well. It's very easy, simple. I simply need to select that
bigger brush could do it. Little quickie. You
can see the formula is restored to its
normal position. Once I'm done with it, I can simply say they're done
or if I'm not satisfied, I can select the Cancel option. Now. I may resize it and place it wherever
in the screen I want. Okay, Coming to the next option, Let's option easier
or the option. In the audio option,
there are plenty of pro audio tracks
available in Canvas. Some of them are free, but
most of them are pro tracks, which I can use in my videos, which I created in
Canva template. Click on a music file here, and here it is. Suppose I want to resize it. I want to select only
a portion of it. I can do that. It's very easy. Now, once I've
selected the audio, what I can do, I can adjust it for the portion I
want in my tracks. By default it is 5 s, but I can always extend the
length of it and also choose the portion of the
track which I want in my video like this. Other effects that can be used in his fade in and fade out. Just click on the Audio
Effects and I can add fade-in fade-out
option here. Now you can see it will fade at the end and it will fade
in the beginning as well. This is how it works. So you need to experiment
with all these things. And in a matter of time, you will get used to it and
you will be able to take advantage of this very
exciting features in Canada. Another very, very important and exciting features
that I find in Canva, which has been recently
included as pixels. Pixel is one of the biggest platform
for free stock imagery is now Canva has included it
in its dashboards itself. Earlier. When you require some images, you need to go to Paxos
and select and download the image and upload
it in the Canva, much like your personal
images, personal photographs. But now you can
simply click on this. And it will open the range of photographs that
pixel has to offer. You can pick any pixel
image directly in Canva and most of the images
in Paxos or if not all, free of cost, you just need
to give credit that is also optional to the greater of the image that people
are very generous. So lots of thank you to them. But you can pick any
from the range of hundreds and hundreds of
images of every category, not only images, you can also have access to videos in pixels. So let's see how we can pick an image from
vaccine using Canva. If I click here again, now we will have all these
images which are from Pexels. It is not from the
Canvas library, it is from the Pexels. You can notice there
is no pro market. All of these images
are stock footage available in vaccines. So again, I can get
any image from hip and edited in the same way I edited image taken
from the Canva. This is the whole
simple, intuitive, and flexible Canva is, you can imagine the kind of
options you have when you include the library
of Canva as well as Paxos into your mix. You can have plenty
of designs option. You can have plenty
of stock footage, plenty of preferred edge, and imageries, together
with your creativity, can lead to some fantastic
designs which are additional, unique and heavier stamp of creativity is temp of
originality stemmed over it. Next is Giphy. You
can use plenty of GIFs or gifts in Canva
using this feature, again, give me has been recently inculcated in the
Canvas dashboard, much like the Pexels, it also gives you a lot of creative options to
design fantastic designs, and especially the
video abortions, because all these
effects will be visible in the video is
not in the images. I can pick any image and
you can have it here. Again, a dated the way you
have edited the other images. Simply select it. You can crop it,
you can fade it. See on Elements won't have the same kind of
flexibility with editings. But certainly there are certain editing restrictions,
limitations as well. So you need to look on
the individual basis, what option is available. You can not go
beyond the options available in any particular
element in Canva. But generally, for
most elements, you will have most
options available. Next in line is logos portion. Here you can have
your company's logos or whatever logos you
have uploaded in Canva, it will be stored here. You once uploaded, you can
upload 101520 different logos. Suppose you are working
for different clients. You can have multiple logos
in Canva and you can use those logos are very easily by clicking
on the logo portion. So this was it in your
advanced features. I hope you enjoyed this video. In the next video lesson, you will be learning
how you can remove the backgrounds even if you have the free
version of Canva. So see you in the next video. Keep learning, keep watching.
6. How to Remove Image Background in Free Version of Canva ?: Welcome learners. In this video, I shall be teaching
you how you can remove background from images in
free version of Canva. I've taught you how you can do that in the pro version
in the previous video. In this video, I'll
be showing you another way in which
you can accomplish pretty much the same
results with the help of an additional website
and get your job done. Suppose you are
interested in having this particular image
in your graphic. Then you need to
download this thumbnail, this image, and save
it in your system. So let's do it here. I've clicked on the
download button. Now, images ready for download. Now this image will
be downloaded in my Download folder
of the system. From there I will be taking
it to some other website. Let's go there and see
what we need to do. Love this website. There are quite a few websites that can be used
for this purpose. But in my experience, this
one is the best out there. You can have it done
very easily and very reliably using this
website that is removed, doc BG is click over here. Upload your image which
you have just downloaded. This second, look at it. How quick, easy and
efficient it is. It looks professional, clean, and doesn't have much of the background shades or
use left on that image. Now I simply need
to download it. If I need to get it
in the SD version, then certainly I need to go for the pro version of
the world got busy, but normal version
is good enough. Now this image is
downloaded in my system. It has Remove BG, review, mock besides the
name of the image, which is in this case is
untitled design underscore 13. Now I need to go back
to the canvas again. I will not want to vent
document of my desired type. Here I'm opening up
blank YouTube thumbnail. Once the document is
opened, our simply upload, remember upload images, upload that downloaded image
from removed dot Vg. Now this image is ready to be used in any of my background. I can resize it to smaller
or bigger versions. I can move it anywhere in the screen and use it the way I use other
elements in Canva. So this is how you can access this premium feature even in
the free version of Canva. This is a bit of a pro tip to use free version
in a probate. I hope you liked
this information and you will be able to use this even without
the Pro version of Canva in your designs. And I can tell you it
will come in quite handy. It can make your graphics look just next level
and professional. So thank you for watching this. In the next video, I'll
be sharing with you some canvas shortcuts
and pro tips that will come in even more handy
for your day-to-day is any environments and
make you a pro in Canva. So keep learning, keep watching. See you
in the next video.
7. Important Shortcuts & Pro Tips in Canva : Welcome learners. In this video, I
shall be sharing with you some of the prominent
Canvas shortcuts and some other pro tips
that will come in quite useful and handy while
designing your graphics. So I'll start with number one. I have opened a blank canvas
for illustration purpose. And I'll be starting with the most common and
most useful key. That is the forward slash. You need to press
forward slash on your computer, as
I have done here. And you can see it's
a slash magic tee. What it brings on the table. It gives you a shortcut for various common
elements in Canva. If you need a text, you can get it from here. If you need a rectangle,
you can get it from here, a line or a circle or
table, an arrow, emojis, heart-shaped, pie charts, bar
charts, line charts, stars, triangles, hexagon
spent evidence, logos, open grids, and whatnot. There are plenty
of options here. So with a single key, you can actually access
dozens of shortcuts in Canva. And these shortcuts can
make your life very easy and fast and up your
graphic designing process. There are certain keys which
are more prominently used, more frequently used like text, you simply need to press T here and the text
bar will be opened. You can resize it. You can change its
colors, fonts, and other effects as you do
normally with other elements. Similarly, if you need
to draw a line here, simply press L here,
a line will be drawn. You can resize it, change its direction,
inclinations, etc. You can make them dotted, increase the thickness
from the top. So there are plenty
of options out there. Similarly, if you need a
rectangle here plus R, you can get a
rectangle box here. You can change your Scholar, make it transparent or whatever
you want to do with it. All available editing options of rectangles will be
shown in the top bar. If you need to get
a circle here, just simply press
C. A circle will be shown similar
to the rectangle. So these are some
of the common keys that will come in handy in
your day-to-day designing. Number two, this
which I will come in handy when working with layers. There are oftentimes
when you need to move layers here and
there while designing. Suppose you need to move this. How to create that
we resize it a little bit and place
it in the center. Suppose you need to move this, how to create edits, white background around so that you can work with
the previous layers. Then one oxygen will
be simply move this, then move that, and it
will become cumbersome. So one shortcut will
help you here is simply club them together
using a Shift key. Pressed Shift select
how to create. Then while pressing Shift, select this white background. Now these two are
clubbed together. Now wherever you move them, they will move together. Number three, coming
to the layers again, there is one more thing that you need to do with the layers. Suppose I want to
walk with this. There are three layers in the
screen on this background. First, this is how
to create them, this white background,
then this red background. Actually there are
four layers here, and the last is the circle. Suppose I need to bring this circle one step
forward. What can I do? I can simply click
on the circle, go to the positions
here, and forwarded. You can notice circle has
moved one step forward. If I need to move it further, one step forward, I
can again press this. Notice one more step forward. And if I want to move
it on the top layer, then one more step, C, no surplus from
the behind it has come to the topmost position. Means using forward option, you can bring your elements
one step at a time forward. And similarly, by using
backward auction, you can take them
one step at a time, backwards as I am doing a head. Now, you can see the serverless
back to the last layer. Suppose I'd need to bring
them upfront in one go. Then there is an option
called to frontier. Simply click here and one book, no matter how many layers
are there in between, it will come on the top. Similarly in one go, I can also send it back to that last layer on
the screen, the c. So this is again, very,
very useful feature. If you want to do it from position and using
single clicks, I find it, this one
very comfortable. Otherwise there are
shortcut keys also. If you find them useful, you can try them as well. But I find using this mouse
and cursor easier to do. I hope you found it very useful and you will be using
it more often than not, end fastening up you're
designing process. But these shortcuts
in the next video and we're discussing with
you a very exciting, yet easy to do project
for this course. And after that video, there will be a video
that will be giving you step-by-step guidelines how
to go about your project. You can do it in a
matter of minutes. And I hope all of you will
be doing this project and submitting for reviews
and my feedback. And since you have come
this far in this class, you have gained something. And if that is the case, kindly consider writing
a positive review because that will
be a great help. So thank you for watching this. See you the next video where I'll talk about project
for this class.
8. Class Project: Welcome learners to the
project video of this class. We are at the end
of this course, and I hope you have learned a lot about Canva
in this course. For your class project, you need to create an
Instagram squared post. Use some backgrounds,
upload some images, or use some images
from Canva or Pexels, add some text, apply some of the editing that you have
learned in this class. Download your Instagram post, and share it in your project
gallery on Skillshare. I'm sure you will find this
project very exciting, enriching, and you
will be keen to apply whatever you have
learned in this class. Looking forward to your
assignments and projects. And I showed you
when you're doing each and every submitted
project and giving you my personalized feedback on the quality of the
project and also help you improve on certain elements if
improvement is required. And don't forget to watch the project guideline video that will be coming up next
just after this video. In that video, you will be getting step-by-step
instructions, how you can go
about this project. See you in the next video.
9. Step by Step Project Guidelines!: Welcome learners in this
final video of this course, where I'll be giving you exit step-by-step guidelines on how to go about your
project for this class, which is to create an
square Instagram post. So step one, simply
type Instagram in the search bar and you can get Instagram square post
option over here. Step to pick a blank
Instagram post. Minded, it is advisable
to use a blank post. It is better because
I want you to apply the learnings
from the scratch. I don't want you to use
templates for this project. However, if you feel
template is your way of doing it, it's
also acceptable. Step three, pick some
sort of a background. Suppose I have chosen
this background. Now next step is step four. I need to add some text to this. Click on the Text button, and I'm choosing
the headline text. I'm writing, wishing you
a very happy new year, 2023 for this kind of message, this rising, some kind of
background goes pretty well. I will change this color
to something darker. Let me choose dark
blue or black. I'll make this font folder
and bring it into lines by dragging it from the sideways
that we are just location. Put it here, a front, make it a little larger. Let me add some
effects to this text. Let me lift it a little bit
or make it hollow or Glitch. And this looks nice and a
little bit more adjustments. Is, this looks better. Little bolder, larger text. Perfect. My Instagram post,
a very simple, very basic Instagram
post with the background and the text message
is ready for download. I simply need to go
there as a final step and click on the Share button and get to this download option. Once I click here, it will give me an
option of downloads, whether I want a
transparent background or compressed file that is of lower quality. No,
I don't want that. I just want us
suggested PNG file. It has the option of PDF
standards, PDF print, SVGs, which is for
the pro version, MP4 for the videos and JPG. So I want it in PNG. If I want to use it
for my web graphics. If I want to just share it for skincare or some other platform, since they're separate video, I primarily need to share it. Perhaps going for
JPEG is also fine. I'll go for JPG. Jpg is best for sharing, as mentioned over here. So I'll simply click download
here and this image will be downloaded in my
Download folder of system. Okay, let me check
how it appears. Beautiful. Instagram post created
in few minutes, within few clicks using Canva. I only use the options
available in the free version. I have not used any
pro version options in this particular version, although IDA Pro plan, so you can easily create professional level
graphics even in the free version of Canva. So this is your biggest
takeaway from this class. So this was it in this class. I hope you have enjoyed
every bit of it and you will apply your learnings and submit your assignments as
early as possible. And I'm looking forward to see any value to your assignments. And one more small request. If you've liked this class, please consider submitting
a review for this. Because the reviews are
valuable as they help both teachers as
well as new students looking for quality
content on a subject. So consider writing a positive
review for this class. Signing of the kit.
