1. Introduction: AIs a game changer.
Think about it this way. You're taking your
design initiative, your own creative journey, slashing the time,
slashing the effort, and keeping the best results
and getting the best results with fraction of the time
invested in your own project. This is very powerful.
In this current class, we're going to be utilizing
key important Canva AI tools. Help you make powerful
transformations, powerful creations, powerful edits to your own design creative
marketing initiatives, content creation initiatives. That way you have the ability
to tweak your designs, make things disappear,
make things pop up, completely transform them
with a couple clicks through innovative approaches to artificial intelligence
within Canva. All of these important
crucial aspects of artificial intelligence
combined within Canva, are going to be tackled
in this current class.
2. Your Project: Project for the class
revolves around applying the lessons taught
about the magic edits within Canva to your
own design initiative in which you're going to be
uploading a basic image, and then you're going to be
applying the key concept that we have taught such as magic
grab, background remover, magic edits in order to transform completely the basic image that
you have created, and then you're
going to be sharing your results with the rest of
the community for feedback.
3. Exploring Canva: The first thing
that we need to do as we dive into learning about artificial intelligence through Canva is first of all, to get acquainted with Canva as a platform, as
a tool as a whole. So in this current lesson, in case you are
completely new to Canva, you have no idea what is Canva. Think about Canva like
a design toolbox. Simply navigate to Google
and type in canva.com, and you should land at the following home keeping in
mind that Cava frequently, they update their homepage,
they add new designs. So if you're going
through the course right now and if there
are any updates, by the time you're going through the lectures, nothing
to be concerned about, you can just simply
log in and that's mainly it because these
are continuously changed, but the core application
is the same. So the first thing that we
need to do is you need to create your own
account to log in. And I'm going to show you in
the next lecture, actually, what's happening behind the
scenes after you log in. What are the key features. But once you get
to the homepage, you will notice we do have different classifications
and categories that CVA has for you. As part of the menu, you
got the design spotlight for the various types of documentations that
you could see, whether visual documents, photos and videos,
print, marketing. As you can see, it's
a very powerful tool for various applications, marketing, graphic design,
video, and much more. Then you go for business based
on the enterprise teams. If you have something specific, you can contact
their sales team, for example, for
education applications. Then you got the plans and
the pricing for these plans. Then if you'd like to have
more details about CVA, you can just simply scroll down. Keeping in mind whatever we're going to be
doing right now, is based on the free plan. But if you're interested, you can go for the free trial. For the pro version, you get 30 days. I'm
going to show you how. So as you scroll down, you can see that it has
various, let's say, leaflets for the
different applications that you could use Canva
for creating documents, whiteboards, presentations,
social, videos, websites. But for the whole core
of this current course, we are focusing on the artificial
intelligence applications. Now, this is the
options for the plan. You got the free plan.
You got the Canva Pro, and you got the Canva teams. Now, whatever we're going to be doing Canva free will
get the job done, but for certain tools, you
might need some credits. There are certain amount, a certain amount of
credits you can use, but if you go for
the free trial, you have more credits
that you could use. So you're able to
learn perfectly on this current course
what needs to be done. But if you like to upgrade at a later stage or have
a free trial, why not? Because at one point in time, I tested the free
trial for 30 days. You got nothing to
lose, but it will help you get more practice
as you go about this. You scroll down,
you're going to see various templates
for various designs. Then it introduces the creativity with
artificial intelligence. Now, this is a complete toolbox. Our focus will be on this. Now, this is part
of magic studio. Which is like an
additional update that Canva has incorporated with the whole artificial
intelligence being added to
various industries. And as you proceed that wards, it gives you some more details about the areas it
could help you with. So this is overall
the layout for Canva, just to have a clear idea
if this is your first time dealing with Canva in general
as a complete beginner. Now, if you are someone
who's familiar with Canva, fil free just simply
skip this lecture and go ahead and
log in directly to your account in which
we are going to navigate to the various
interface options within Canva. And then we're going to
take it further by diving into the artificial
intelligence side of Canva.
4. Navigating to Magic Studio: Seen what is Canva in general. If we log into Canva, how do we approach the
various options that we have? But we're going
to be diving into the artificial intelligence
side of Canva. This is a great bypass
for you to just simply dive into the artificial
intelligence part of Canva, which is magic Studio. You can just simply navigate to the home screen bar or
the webpage address and just simply type in
Canva slash MAGIC or go to google.com and just simply type in
Canva Magic Studio. And you would land at this following page
once you click on the link that's displayed for you automatically without
even having an account yet. You're able to land at
the homepage for Canva. We are still logged out, right? So what you need to do is, it's the same account
that you have for Canva that you have
created previously. But in case you're
diving directly into artificial intelligence
suite of tools within Canva, you can just simply navigate to this page and log in,
which will save you time. But the whole purpose is for you to see what are the suite of tools within Canva that
you might be encountering? This is the whole point
of this lesson or lecture because Canva AI has
been fused with Canva, and sometimes there are
features which have been overlooked by users. So we're going to save
you the whole hassle of this by actually having
everything in front of you, and you could tinker
with this as you go about the various segments
of the current course. So if you scroll through, you're going to see the
various things that you could do with
artificial intelligence. Your place for creative AI
start the creative process, safe and secure AI. So everything over here
is actually AI centric. Then visualize your
ideas with magic design, which is part of
the pro features, and keeping in mind, you have
a free trial you can use. That way, you're able
to test things out. You have the option to
click on Try Magic Design. You got free credits. As I'm going to walk you through various applications that you're seeing right now, every single one of them to a certain point we're
going to be covering. But I'm showing
you basically that this is the homepage for the various AI tools that you might be encountering
within Canva, magic resize, text to video, text to image, text to graphic. Often you tend to find users
that are quite confused. Where can I find these? Now, there's a homepage
for them, which is here. The Magic Studio homepage, simply navigate to Google, type in Canva Magic Studio. And that's the homepage. You got magic Expand, magic Grab, magic
Edit, and much more. And I'm going to
walk you through. Now we're ready to log in. Just simply go ahead and
click on Log in or signup. And once we log in,
we're going to just simply dive into the
AI side of Canva. Like I've mentioned, there's
an area of confusion. Sometimes students dive into the Canva platform
in general and start to dig for these AI tools here and there, which
is quite confusing. So the whole point of
this current lesson is to show you that
there's a hub for this, which is called Magic Studio. You can just simply find all of these tools on a home page. And as we proceed further
on this current course, I'm going to show you
how to use them in an innovative and
creative to help you slice time and get astonishing results for
various applications, spanning from just
basic designs, graphic designs,
content creation, editing, sketching,
drawing and much more. So let's go ahead and log into the Canva account and just
simply get things started.
5. Diving Into AI Labs: Welcome back. And
great work so far. Now, everything is making
perfect sense, right? We have seen how Canva
integrates by itself, where we have navigated
the various options over here as well to having
a clear idea about the magic studio end
of Canvas It's like an entity which has been
incorporated within Canva, and under this entity, we got artificial
intelligence as a whole. Now, in this current lesson, we're going to be
diving into one of the AI features within Canva, which is the dream lab. If you navigate to
the left side menu, take a look at the bottom part. You get Dream ab over here. This is a powerful new
additional recent update by Canva for Artificial
Intelligence incorporations, and it's a very powerful
text to image generator. Now, this is the basic
interface for dream lab. It has a prompt window and you have the option to create,
but take a look over here. This is very important.
Once you click on this, you get yourself the credits. How many credits
that you could do. Since I'm on the
pro version trial, basically, I got 500 credits. If you are on the
free account trial, you still got credits, but these credits are
going to be limited. So keep this in mind, and
they reset in nine days. But 500 credits for the trial version is
more than enough. So if we take a look at the
prompt window over here, I have the option
to add an image. Smart selections and
the aspect ratios. What does that mean? We're going to dive into this.
But let's take a look at the inspirational
results over here. These are actual
images generated by Canva users to help you
get inspired, right? If I click on any of
them, for example, this over here, if I click USE, I'm going to see
the complete prompt which has been used in
order to create this image. Similarly, for this
one over here. So as you can see, before
you actually craft a prompt, you could take a look
at the amount of details within a prompt
to help you get inspired. So what we're going
to be doing is, I'm not going to be using the same prompt for any of these images, but
it's good to know. So I'm going to remove this, and let's build something
from scratch, okay? I'm going to select the ratio. Then you got the Smart select, which basically shows you the type of the
style of the image. Smart cinematic,
creative illustration, macro bouquet, three D
render, cinematic fashion. So you do have pop art. These are different
sketch color. These are different end results. So even if you have
the same prompt, you could have
different end results. I'm going to show
you how. And you do have the option over
here, if you'd like, simply can upload any
image that you have, and then you could add the prompt to actually
fine tune the image. Now, let's keep things simple
and create our first image. A forest made of golden
trees with a great castle overlooking a
fountain surrounded by herbs and animals. This is very, very basic, a basic prompt of
whatever case it is. So I'm going to select
the aspect ratio. You got the option for 16 by nine or for the vertical option, which is nine by 16 for the social media aspects and
content creation purposes. But let's keep it quite
generic 16 by nine. And I'm going to
go for not smart. I'm going to go for
a cinematic concept. I'm going to click on
cinematic and then click CRE. Now, what's going
to do is what's Dreamlab going to do is, is going to generate the
image based on my prompt, and it's going to give me
multiple options, right? Here you got the
option over here to either copy one of them, delete this generation, or
you can just simply copy it or edit one of them
directly or download. So in other words, let's
say I like one of these. Let's say the one over
here, I can click on this. It will take it to
a design by itself. Here you go. Take
a look at this. Is the image that I've gotten. If I click on this, I
can just simply type in what I would like
to change, okay? And you click on Show
More to take a look at the prompt details because
I've added a basic prompt, but the generator
actually created more details to it based on
the style I have selected. And I got for me the resolution. And if you'd like
to upscale this, you have to go for a proversion and then you have
the image guidance. You can just simply change up the style or copy the image, or you can just simply open
an editor. Here we go. If I click on this. So I will
take it to the editor page. So basically, when I create
an image within dream labs, and I click on Open in Editor, it's going to actually
move it to a place where I can just simply edit this
and start modifying it. But if I click on the left side now and I can just simply go
back to dreamlabs over here, click on Dreamlabs, I can
go back to my design. So you get how this
integrates, right? So when I click on an image, image guidance, for example, use the colors and
feel of your image, I can use this image again and add additional
prom to refine. Or just simply match
the design again, by adding additional
prompt to it to modify it even more or
download the image, or just simply click on the
image and then open in error. And once you click on this, it means you have
confirmed the image. And once you click on
open in Error is going just simply take it back
to the editing page, and this is where you get to tinker with the design
that you have created. Now, there are various aspects that we could use as part
of the design phase, but at this current stage, I
just simply want you to see how you could use
the design labs. You can just simply
click back on menu, go back to Dream lab again, and you could change those. How about would change it from a cinematic concept to
something which is creative. And I click on Create. Now, I'm using the credits, but as I modify this either by adding
prompts or by changing the style or by simply
taking a look at the result and feeding it
back into the prompt window, for example, match the style, use the colors and
feel, match the design, use the arrangement
and the layout. So I'm going to say
match the design. Make sure there is a sun and a couple more trees. Here we go. So I have
fed back the image into the prompt window
and have refined my prompt to take a look
at the end results. So you see how does
the process work? Simply put you can create
a prompt, get an image, feed it back into the window
and modify the image, change the style,
change the sizing, or you can just simply add a
blank image and work on it. Take a look at the results,
very, very powerful. So I can see the previous
ones that I've made, and you can see the progress
that you have made. So this is the initial result. Then modified it a bit, then modified it even more to get the result
that I would like. Keeping in mind, all
of them, by the way, these are some powerful,
powerful results. Every single one of them
is unique in its own, so it depends on the
preference that you have. But let's go for
this one over here. This seems like a great fit. So it means I have found the option that I
would like to use, and it means you have actually utilized Dream lab in an effective way in
creating a design, and feel free to experiment
with this, by the way. You can just simply
create illustrations, cinematic approaches, minimalist designs, and craft various prompts to help
you test this out. Just simply get creative and
innovative as you do it.
6. Magical Edits: Back. Now we're
going to dive into how could we layer
different tools, artificial intelligence
tools within Canva? And I'm going to build
up on where we have left off for you
to get inspired. Let's create a
complete new design. Let's say, an old man drinking coffee and
a cafe, for example. Just basic prompt. Feel free to use your own. Let's pick a certain a theme. How about we go for Moody
and then 16 by nine. You could add your own image, and you could add
a prompt if you'd like to tinker with
this, it's up to you. Now I'm going to
select just simply a random design for us to see additional powerful
artificial intelligence tools as part of magic studio
that you could use. Now, these are great,
powerful results, by the way. Take a look at them. Let's select this one over here. Now, I like this image,
gets the job done. Feel free to change
anything over here. If you'd like, you
can just simply add an element or
move an element, but there are limitations. So that's why we're going
to go to open in editor. Click on this. Now, this will load the Canva
editing page, right? Once you go over here and
you click on the image, then you have the ability to manipulate or change
or alter the image. But we are going to be depending on artificial
intelligence for this. So what we're going to be doing is you do have multiple options, by the so what I'm going
to be doing right now is, I would like to conduct some edits to the
image that we have. Now, as you dive into Canva, you have the option
to add elements. You have the option to add
more tools and applications. I'm going to teach
you throughout the course. Sky's the limit. But at this current stage, we're building it one level at a time. So I would like you to do it. Click on this icon over here. Edit. Click on dit. Now, this will prompt
various displays for us. You all click Bush, background, foreground.
What does that mean? If I would like to
edit a certain area, for example, let's say, I would like to edit
the cup of coffee. I'm going to click on Brush, and then I have the ability to select the cup of coffee
over here, right? Then what do you
notice I do have the three different
tools which are popping up in front of me that are showing me basically what kind
of edits that I would do. So the first thing that I'm going to share with
you right now, I'm going to show you the
magic edit. Click on this. Now, once you click on
Magic Edit, once again, you have the option to click to select an object or
go for the brush. I like the brush because
it's more specific, and you have the ability to increase or decrease
the brush size, as you can see over here. But this is the powerful. What
would you like to change? Since I have selected
this with the brush, now I'm going to add a
prompt to change that. I'm going to change, say, change the color
of the cup to red. Here we go. Look at this now. Very, very powerful. So I have created an image
completely from scratch with dream lab within Canva. Now I'm editing the image
within Canva, as well, using artificial
intelligence, literally, doing nothing technical, just
basic innovative approach. Look at the result. I've
completely changed the color of the cup to something which is the aligns with my
expectations, correct? Well, we're not done yet. I'm going to show you one more edit for you
to get inspired. So I'm going to go back, and I'm going to select
the brush again. But how about we
add some glasses. Okay? Just basic highlighting. Click on Magic Edit over here. Keeping in mind, magic edit, even though it's part
of the pro features, but you have the
ability to try it out even for free as part
of the free trial. So you can just
actually test this. Then I'm going to say, add reading glasses to the face. And we're going to
click on Generate. Take a look at the end result. Now, obviously, you might
iterate this back and forth, but for you to get the idea how powerful this is and
how accurate this is. Take a look at the
reading glasses. Here we go. It even amplified the eyes because of
the reading glasses. But let's pick the most
appropriate or accurate design. How about this one? T.
We're not done yet. How about we go back. And this is time for
you to get creative. As you generate an image, you feel free to
pause the lesson or the lecture and try
to tinker with this. How about over here,
we add a watch? Okay. Magic edit. Add a golden watch. Click on Generate. So I'm doing these edits using
artificial intelligence. Feel free by the way, to
upload just a basic image. It doesn't have to be generated from dream labs, by the way. So the image does not have to
be actually made in Canva. You could upload it
and do the same thing. Simply click on it and you
have the ability to edit it. Now, take a look at the results. Here we go. Find
the best option. This works great.
Now, one more edit. How about we add a hat? So I'm going to
select over here. Here we go. How about a
red hat to match the cup? Why not? Click on this. Then add a red hat. To match the red
color of the cup, and you click on Generate. Now, this needs just
simply innovation. It's up to you to get
creative with this. I'm showing you the tools, but creativity is all on
you in this current case. Now, editing faces, hands, or legs is intended
for magic edit. So it completely
interpreted this in the wrong way because it thought I was editing the face, right? So I'm going to go back
again, and I'm going to say, just let's select a smaller
brush, how about over here. Okay. And then add a hat. It requires back and forth
communication with Canva, artificial intelligence,
in order to actually get the result
that you'd like. But again, for
demonstration purposes, to see basically
what's going on. I got for you one more edit. Here you go, take a
look at the hats. Here we go. This looks good. I think this one looks
better. Excellent. Now the last edit, let's click on use the
click instead of the brush. I can click on Objects.
This is very powerful. So once you go from brush to
click, look what happens. It's scanning the
various objects that it could identify the man, the man at the background
or the chair or the table. I would like to edit the table. Click on the table, magic
Edit, add a flower. Vase on the table. Here we go. Click on Generate. And
that's the great thing about clicking because it has
easily identified the object, which makes the editing
part even easier. Take a look at the
end result right now. Flower vase, different size, but look what has done. It added a small vase. Now, I could go back
actually and modify this. Add a tall flower
vase on the table. Let me edit this
again. Click on Edit. Then we go to magic
Edit. Here we go. Click change this,
add or change to a long flower vase and have
red roses in the vase. Why? To match the red cup. So you're creating this design based on the end result from
artificial intelligence. Oh. Still, it's trying
to figure this out. And once I've used
the word vase, it got stuck at a
small cup over here. That's perfectly
okay. Not a problem. You could tinker with
different prompts for you to get the results,
but you get the idea. We have changed the
design from something basic where we've added glasses, we've changed the color of
the cup, added a watch, added a hat, add a
small flower vase, and you could just simply get more and more creative with it. So the whole point from this
current lesson is for you to understand how to use
the magic edit feature. Like I've mentioned, you can
just simply upload any image or the image that we have gotten from dream labs over here, the one that we have created, we clicked on opening
Editor and just simply transferred it to the editor over here in order
for us to work on it. And then we have
just simply clicked on the image, clicked on Edit, and then we were prompt to the
funk page click and brush, and then we have the ability to actually pick up some
of the AI tools, and we click on Magic Edit. And from Magic Edit, we were able to
actually either modify, add or completely change
various aspects of the design.
7. Making Objects Vanish In Images With Canva AI: Come back. Now we're
going to take our design further with another
magic studio AI tool, and we're building up one
level at a time for you to see how these things could work
by themselves or cohesively. So I'm going to use
the previous design. Click on it. This will
prompt the following window. Click on Edit, and then you have the following display from the magic studio
options over here. So what I'm going to
be doing right now, I'm going to go
for magic eraser. Once I click on this,
the magic eraser literally from the word eraser is going to erase
a certain element. I have the option for a brush. Click foreground, it means basically the front
display to the background, which is this is basically
the front display, and this is the background
or we have text if you'd like to erase a
certain text on the screen or if I click on
foreground and erase, it will remove the
man completely. Let me show you
how. Click on this. If I click on erase,
look what happens. Literally, we just
simply wipe out the entire design that we
have. See? Here we go. Now I'm going to reverse
this simply click on Control Z and go backwards. Again, magic eraser. Let's say, I'm going to click on the brush. I would like to erase the
flower vase over here. Let's reduce this. So I'm going to erase this item. This is one. And how about we erase the
lighting at the back? Here we go. And then how about we erase the
figures at the back? Here we go. Click on a race. Now, literally will
just simply select those items and move
them out of your design. This is very, very
powerful, by the way, in case you would like to remove something specific without actually jeopardize jeopardizing the design,
and notice what happens. It takes into account
the aesthetics offered. It did not just simply
crop the man from here or crop the vase
or crop the lighting. I actually added a smooth cover in order to make sure
it blends perfectly. So this is a very powerful
tool that you could use to help you remove items
from your design.
8. Moving Objects In Images With Canva AI: Back. Now we're going
to take it one level further through an
additional powerful AI tool. Click on Edit after
clicking on the image. How about we go for
the Magic Grab. As the name implies, magic Grab gives me the ability to actually move
items on the screen. And notice when I hover
over certain elements, once it scans them, it means I have the
ability to move them. This is based on a click.
If I click on a brush, it means I'm going to select
a certain element only, but I prefer to go
for the click. Why? Because this ability to move items on the screen often
is based on objects, right? You're moving objects. You're not moving
just simply parts of an object unless
it's a very rare case. So I'm going to click
on the cup over here. I'm going to click on Grab. So this means I'm going
to have the ability to move the cup from one place
to another. Look at this. Here we go. Very powerful, right? Actually disengage the
cup from the man's hand. So I'm going to
put the cup back. How about we go for a
different approach? Let's go for magic grab. How about we go for the hat? I'm going to move the hat
and put it on the table. So I'm going to click
on click, right? Well, once I click
on click, actually, first of all, we lost the cup, right, if you have noticed. But once I scan over here, it's showing me the entire man. So I'm going to click on Brush, in this case, reduce
the brush size. And this is where
you have to be quite careful because this will
take it que literally in terms of the elements
that you would like to just simply grab and move. There we go. I'm going
to click on Grab. So it's going to be
selecting this right now, the hat, and I'm going
to be moving it. Here we go. I got the hat. But notice what
happens. It actually crops a certain part of it. So I'm going to place
this on the table, for example, and that's it. So I got the hat over here. And I got the cup over here, I can just simply
select it again. Any item that you click on for the Magic Grab and
you apply the edit, you have the ability
to move it later on. So keep that in mind.
So I'm going to be putting the hat back
on. Here we go. And we got the cup over here. You can just simply put the cup on the table. How about this? Here we go. Different
element, right? Then I'm going to
take it back if you just simply would like to
keep the original design, but for you to understand
what's going on here. So you have the ability to
actually through Magic Grab, to select different items on the screen that
based on scanning, either by clicking or by brush. So once you have a brush, you have the ability to hover over certain elements and just simply click on Grab and you have the ability
to move them.
9. BG remover: Welcome back. Now, let's say I would like
to change the background. This is a new tool added by Canva as part
of Magic Studio. Click on BG Generator. Background Generator. Now, describe the background
that you would like to have. As you noticed, this is basically
a man in a cafe, right? How about we change the background to
something more natural? Change the background
or you can just simply describe the background without even mentioning the word change. So let's do this
just to make sure we get the results straight
from the first go. A river in front of a forest. Here we go. Now, it's scanning
the background and swapping the background. Take a look at the results. You're going to have something really,
really astonishing. Take a look at this. Now, it's going to keep the man as is, and every single element in the background will be
transferred to something else. Take a look at the
results. Very powerful. The cafe literally
vanished and just simply I'm having
different designs. Here we go. Very, very powerful, right? This is very, very,
very important. And you have the
ability now to change backgrounds for
images just simply by adding smart
prompts and using these powerful tools in
the best way possible. And we're not done
yet. How about we remove the entire
background completely? I'm going to click on
the background remover, and just simply once you click on the background
remover, literally, it just simply deletes
the entire background as if nothing was there. So now you have a
clear ability to actually change these designs to manipulate these designs, either by changing
the background, adding graphics,
removing elements, removing the background,
editing certain parts, grabbing and moving certain
elements from the screen, which gives you a powerful
way to get innovative and get endless endless options on opportunities in terms of your design and
creative efforts.
10. Magic Morph: Going to show you
another AI tool that you could use within your current initiative to help you get the best out of
Magic Studio, as well. But we're going to get sort of a different approach to it because we
have learned so far. Once I click on an
image, I click on Edit, I have these various tools that I could use as
part of Magic Studio. But magic Studio is one
side of the equation. We got additional applications
that we could use, additional tools
that I'm going to be teaching you about
to create videos, create content, to
manipulate graphics, images, sketches, and the
applications are endless. So make sure that you
go through the course f in order to get the best out of the Canva artificial
intelligence applications. In this current
lesson, we're going to learn about a very
powerful tool, which is called Magic Morph. What is it? Let's
see. The first thing that we need to
do is go to Apps. Click on Apps, then type
on the search bar Morph. Click Enter, you get the
first option over here. It's called Magic Morph. Click on Magic Morph. This actually turns elements of your design into
something extraordinary. What does that mean? Let's see. Now, we have the option
to select an element on a design over here once
you're able to select it like a shape or a text
or a certain graphic. But the image over here
that we have does not have a text or a certain shape or a certain graphic that
we could manipulate. So step number one is, select
an element in your design. Magic Morph currently does
not support this element. Please try a text, shape,
or a simple graphic. So I'm going to add a text. So I'm going to just simply
scroll all the way to the top and click on elements for you to
understand what's going on. Type in text. Add a text box. How about we type in the word? Coffee. Change the size a bit. These are quick edits. If you are not
familiar with Canva, beyond artificial
intelligence tools, that's perfectly fine. We do have other
courses on the subject, feel free to explore them. But for this current state,
like we have mentioned, we're dealing with
the artificial intelligence parts only, and these are minor edits that you're able to
figure out by yourself. So nothing to waste time on. So I've clicked on
Coffee over here. Expanded it a bit. Now, I'm going to go back to my design. I clicked
on Apps, right? So I'm going to go to
Apps, Magic Morph. Click on this. Notice
what happens, it changes. So it has the ability to detect it now
because it's a text. So I'm going to select
coffee or add an element, an existing element or as
an example on the screen. For example, if I click on Star, it will add a star or I could
create my own elements. That's up to me. Oh,
let's see how we could use this magic morph
feature, right? So I'm going to select the
element coffee over here, and then I'm going to
describe the look. Or if you notice,
we got examples. So you got wood, you got
pumpkin, you got balloons, you got flowers,
pretzels, jewels. Let's go for balloons. Click on this. Notice
what's going to happen to the text. Magic Morph. Now, it's going to take
the prompt and actually apply a design approach
to the actual text, changing it to a certain built in feature within the
magic morph application. This is the default option that you're
able to choose from. For example, coffee,
here you go. Click on this. I will actually change this to
the layout that we have. Notice the balloon like design simply from a plain text to an actual balloon
like design. However, I would
like to actually go for something more than
the built in examples. How about dark diamonds? That's it. Simple as is. Here we go. Magic morph. For Magic morph, try to keep
it simple for the prompt. Why? Because it's
changing literally the structure of the text or
the graphic or the element. So you don't want to make it
complicated before it will get stuck or will give
you poor results. Keep it simple. Keep it
straight to the point. Take a look at
this. Let's select this one over here for you
to see the difference. Here we go. It actually included some elements
of the prompt. Got some diamonds over here. How about we go for this one. This seems like a great fit. Excellent. Here we
go. Literally, if you zoom in even more, notice it's very realistic. It has a glossy element, and it actually incorporated the diamonds and the
black colors over here. So I'm going to remove this, and I'm going to put this over here. Here we go. Excellent. So I have created a design from
scratch using dream labs. Then I have edited
through magic edit. Then I've erased certain
elements through magic arrays. Then I've added elements or manipulated elements or
text through magic morph. So you can get great innovation. You can get a great
application in order for you to have your own unique designs as simply needs creativity only. Just you need to get creative. But you have all the
tools at hand right now and you have a clear
ability to use them. But guess what?
We're not done yet. There are more way
powerful tools that we're going to
be diving into as we get more in depth through the artificial intelligence
applications within C
11. Magic Expansion of Designs: To show you a very powerful
edit that we could do, help us actually manipulate
the images either by expanding certain aspects or
diminishing certain aspects. What do I mean by this?
Let's go back to our design. Click on it, click on Edit, Navigate to Magic Expand. Literally, this will
take an element or actually expand it to
fill the screen, or, as I'm going to show you how
it will change what fills the entire canvas from the elements that you
have within a picture. Let's say for free form, if I click on this, the image is already filling
the entire canvas. Whole page is already
filling the whole canvas. So if you notice, what
does it say over here. Images with faces, hands or transparent backgrounds may
not work well when expanding. But other elements other images, let's say you got a cup
of coffee over here or a certain book and I click
on Whole page or free form, I have the ability to expand
it to fill the screen. But here, I'm going to show you a very powerful
hack. Click on 121. As you noticed,
we're not actually increasing the
size of the image, but we're reducing the ratio. So it's going from 16 by nine, which is the one over
here to one by one. So what does that do?
Once you click on this, take a look at the end
result. Here we go. Once you click on Expand, something else is
going to happen. Literally, we are going to
reduce the size of the image. Right, shrink it down a bit, but without jeopardizing the graphical elements,
look what we have. By actually shrinking it a bit, we're able to add a table. We're able to see
more of the old man, we're able to see
more of the image, and we actually got in a full
on image, very powerful, I have the ability
to change this a bit based on what I see fits. Here we go. It's
actually generating stuff to fill up the space. Why? Look at the
difference. And here we go. So I have reversed
the design, okay? It went back to the
previous state. I cannot see much of the image, but if I go back to
edit and then go for the magic Expand
and click on 121, and by the way, you have the
ability to crop the image. I didn't go through these
because these are quite basic. You can just simply
select anything and just simply crop the
image if you'd like. This is very basic, but we're
concerned with the expand the expand option is
very powerful because it gives you the ability to either expand certain elements. If it allows you to do so, it should light on. But for diminishing
the actual image or reducing the aspect
ratio from a large size, you have the ability to
actually zoom out a bit. Notice what happens over here. I'm going to click on
this, expand. Here we go. The man will be
pushed backwards, and then more of the table
will show up and more of the actual man will be present within the
display as a whole. So this gives you some
flexibility with your designs. Take a look at this.
Very powerful, right? So we're able to
add more space or more visuals from the
same design that we have by simply pushing it backwards through magic expand features. Feel free to tinker
with this, by the way, select whatever
design that you have, and then you can
tinker with this. Now notice what I
have over here. Now I have the option to have more space within the
image because why? I have a bigger image now. So as you're going through the designs that you're having, feel free to tinker with this. You could add your own image. You could add a unique
image that you have, but now you have
the ability with the magic expand to add
more features to it, which will give you
more flexibility with your designs or manipulating
the design as a whole.
