1. Camtasia Essentials Training Camtasia Tutorial: Hi there and welcome to this Camtasia
Essentials Training. In this tutorial, you
get to see how to use Camtasia as a beginner. First things fast. Which version of Camtasia am I going to use
in this tutorial? Let's compare under Help and then we'll go into
about Camtasia. And you can see I'm using 2021 version and it was
updated in May 2022. If you have any version that has an interface that looks
anything like this, then you can follow
along with that. Anything from Camtasia
eight and below that is not advisable because
the interface is different. What are we going
to learn in this, in this Camtasia tutorial, you're going to learn how to
use Camtasia out to edit, how you can record, how
to organize your project. I'll give you some
tips on how you can organize your project. And then we'll see how we can save our files and edit them. And once you're done
editing the video, you'll see how you can export
that video so that you can share it out on YouTube or wherever
you want to share it. Then finally, at the end, we're going to create
a simple project whereby will create
an intro like this. If this is something
that you want to do, you want to learn
how to use Camtasia, then go ahead and start
watching this tutorial. Make sure that you're
following along with me. I will provide these
samples and you'll find all the samples that
are used inside here. The recorded video that
I will be editing, it will be this one. So start editing that. As soon as you start
watching the course, download the assets and
start editing this. And then eventually we're
going to create the intro using the resources
which are inside here. Everything that is inside here. This is what we'll use to
create the final intro video. Go ahead and start watching
the tutorial right now. Because there's so much to learn and there's
so much to do. I will see you when
you get started.
2. Camtasia project recording: For this Camtasia tutorial, we definitely need a
project and we're going to learn Camtasia through
editing our project. Let me record a screencast and then we're going to use that throughout these
competitions tutorial to learn how to use Camtasia. So let's say maybe
my video is about teaching people how
to use Audacity. I'm just going to click
there on Audacity. Maybe my aim is to show
people how to use Audacity. If you want to record an audio, make sure your microphone
is selected there. And then you can just
click on that button. And that's going to record
our audio as we speak. That is how to record an audio. Once it's recorded, you just
stop and maybe you want to, you want to increase the
amplitude of the audio. What you're going to do,
you're going to normalize the audio to raise
the amplitude. And then maybe you want to do
a noise reduction for this. I'm just going to click on
noise reduction on getting noise profile and then Command effect and repeat
the noise reduction. Maybe I want to do
compression for this, I'm going to do effects and
then I will come back to compressor and I will compress. And then once I do that, I can also normalize
it to amplify it. Once again, that is a project
for this Camtasia class. And you're going to
see how to work with Camtasia through
editing this audio, go to Edit, through
editing this video. We're going to edit
it completely. You're going to see
different things. How to zoom in, how
to cut out areas, how to add images, how to add annotations
and so much more. Let's get started editing this project in
the next section.
3. How to organize your camtasia project: Let's say you get a job as a video editor working
with Camtasia. You need to edit your project. You need to organize,
you predict well. You need to know where the files are and when you
went to access them, you should be able
to access them. This video is about how you can organize your Camtasia project. When you do any Camtasia
recording on your screen, what happens is it will
be saved under documents. If you go to your documents,
you'll find Camtasia. There's a Camtasia directory
under your documents. So let's say maybe you're editing a video for
a certain customer. You can create a new folder and call the folder the
name of the customer. And for you to label them, we should probably
give it a number so that they're arranged
chronologically. Here under markets,
it should also arrange your project
differently. For instance, the recording, the recorded file of Camtasia. You can put that in a folder and call that folder recordings. Then once you go
to edit the file, because you'll need
to save the file that you're editing
and you can put those instead of another folder
and just call that saved. What else do we need
here? We need a video. So of course, once you edit it, you need to export
it as a video. Then you'll just come here and you'll create another folder
and you can call it videos. This is just something
that they do. I labeled them in small letters, but you can use capital. Just makes you a band
named in a way that you can recognize what
they're about. So you know that if you
have a client called MCAS, then the mockups project is
inside the Mockus folder. Inside that folder and
you can start editing. If I asked there, I'm going to show you
how you can record a record in Camtasia
and then you're going to save the recording
inside here.
4. How to record in Camtasia: Let's see how to
record in Camtasia. It's important for you
to note that I'm using Camtasia to record
this video as well. What's happening is that I'm
using the legacy recorder. So you can just look
for the recorder. If you go to your stat bar. If you own a mock DES, get to Camtasia, however, usually gets to your applications
on a Mac or on Windows. You can just go to
the stockpile and then you can search
for Camtasia. You can see here I went to
open Camtasia recorder. I went to record this. This is because I'm already
using Camtasia here, so I want to be able to
use the shortcut keys. So that is a modern
Camtasia recorder. If you interchange
any settings here, you can just go
here under tools. You can go to Preferences. And then here under Preferences, you can change the
different settings. Where do you want to
store your files, how do you want to name
your files and so on and so forth is come in here and you can change all these
elements here. Okay? I know you may have a webcam connected
to your computer. And therefore, if you
want to record your Coda, if you want to
record your webcam, you can come in here
and you can enabled that I don't have any
camera attached right now. So you can see this is disabled. What you can see
no camera phone, so I can't enable it. But if I connect a camera, I will be able to enable that. And most importantly,
your microphone. You have to connect a microphone before you start recording, make sure that they sound actually coming out
through Camtasia. And before you start
any recording, just record a sample and see if the microphone is working. If you want to select
her microphone, just come in here and choose
the different microphones. You can see I have two
microphones attached, and I'm currently
using this here, so I can't connect it here. However, this is where you'd
you'd normally connect. Your microphone does come in here and choose the
right microphone. You can also change the audio
volume for your microphone. Microphone input volume. You can change that there. And then if you want to
record the system audio, things like maybe you click and they're usually windows sounds. You click on something,
maybe there's an error. Maybe you want to record a
certain video from YouTube. You need to enable
this then volume and it's going to system audio, and it's going to
record anything with audio on your computer. This is done before you
start the recording. Make sure you change
all the settings before you start the recording. And finally, another
important thing that I have not mentioned
is the screen. Which screen you want to record. If you have multiple screens, like you can see, I have
multiple screens here. I can record screen,
one screen too. I can choose a custom
region to record. Click. And then you can select somewhere to,
somewhere to record. And then you can
record that area. You can come here and you can change it back to full screen. Screen one was
green to whichever. You can just record
widescreen ten ATP, and it's going to record 1080 P. Or you can record
your entire screen. If your screen is not
in this dimensions of ten ATP for k and so on. Once you're done with
all the settings, just keep on record and
you can start recording. And as soon as I click on Stat, He's going to do a count down. It will record. And when
you're done recording, you just click on
this top button. I give you an idea on how you
can organize your project. Let's look for that folder. Instead of Camtasia. And he told the center
of this project, so you can put your
recorded virus, the dots, Trek files. You can put them inside of your recording and give
it a name that you'll definitely be able to recognize when you're
editing the project. These maybe I can
call it example. Just like that. That's editing the
predict that we set up alone in this tutorial.
5. Camtasia Video editor overview: I'm here inside of
my project folder. I'm just going to go into
the recording folder. The one that I want
to start editing is Camtasia project recording. So if I want to start according this let me faster
Voc copy the name. I'm going to double-click
on it to open it inside of Camtasia so that you
can start editing. Let's do some basic editing. I'm just going to give
you the step-by-step flow of how I usually edit my videos. At least that way, you have a framework
that you can follow and you can use if you're getting started
in video editing. First of all, I normally improve my audio.
That's very important. First of all, I need
to edit this audio. So what I would normally
do is I'd come here, come here under
Audio, Audio Effects, and then I will use the
audio compression tool. I've set mine to medium. And that's because
I usually record at a very low volume to avoid
any noise from outside. That helps me reduce
noise when I'm recording. That's why I record in low
volume and then I just do post-processing to
improve the audio. Once I do that, I usually
export this audio. But before you do that, let's just do a quick
overview of this window. So that is your recorded video. Sometimes you may
have recorded a video on your phone and you want
to come here and edit it. The process is just the
same your workspace. Now if you come here, you can change the project
settings. Let's come here. I went to my outcome
to be ten ATP. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to come here and I'm going to put my recording attend ATP. My screen is slightly
larger than ten ATP. Otherwise, if it's
green is for k, then it's just going to fit automatically once
you put down ATP, if your screen is also ten, ATP is going to
fit automatically. So I'm going to click
there to apply. You can use whichever
ratios you want, whichever dimensions
you went there. Depending on the
outcome that you want. I'm going to apply. I could expand this or I
can use the animation tool. Now the animation tool, we're going to look
at this later on. This is used for
zooming and panning. I can just plan in up
to somewhere there until then tapping
is on my screen, is within my workspace. So this is going to be the final outcome, the final video. This other side, you can
see on this other side, we do have all these tools that you can use to
edit your video. You can edit your audio or the Casa animations, behaviors, transitions you're
going to look at, we're going to see most of these by the end
of this tutorial. So just be patient. We're
going to look at them. Normally when you
choose any tool. Let's say we choose
your annotation on. You're going to see the options
for the annotations here. And the options for the
annotations will also be, will also be there. On this end. Let's say I want to add
one of these call-outs. I just drag it down. And then on this other side, we have all these other
features that you can change. Also, you can see
it on the screen. Let me move the cursor
until you get to it. When you get to ATC, you
can increase the size. We're going to see how to
use all of these for now. This is just an overview. And the overview
is very important because it gives you an
idea of how everything is. Maybe you want to increase
the font for that. You just come there and a font. And you can increase
the font and give you, give your video a title. We're going to see how to do
all that. We've seen that. And also right here, we do have certain
elements as well. For instance, we have this, this will split this. I come there and I pick them that I can
split it into half. Before you split anything,
make sure you select it. Make sure you select the
media that you went to split. So once I do that, you see I can split it into two and
move the other part. But of course I don't
want to do that. So normally I do Control Z, Control Z, but it seems
maybe you're on a Mac. I'll just use that. And you
can use that as well to undo almost every
change you've met. You can undo that. If you have two screens, you can always put this
somewhere else and just record and look
at the other screen. I went to detach the
canvas. I can detach it. And once you detach it, you can just move it around. You can move it around to whichever screen you
want to use it on. You may want to take it back. Maybe you did each accidentally or maybe the other
screen goes blank. What you can do, you
can just click on that and it's going
to take it back. Applause is going
to get to attach it back to your Camtasia editor. Then of course,
you can never get, you can never get that. You can also navigate like that, two different parts.
You can zoom in. This is very helpful for audio. Maybe you enter removals
at in part of audio. You can zoom in. Maybe you
until removals at in part, or you went to view. You want to see an out view of your entire video
editing process. You can just zoom in
and zoom out like that. Before I end, let us just see some of the elements
which are up here. And one that I use often
in the good to see me using the next
video is export. And I usually export my audio first and then edit the audio, then they bring it back here. And you're going to
see how to do that. In the next section, I'm going to edit and make
them digital audio. In this process, I usually do do it so that if you want to
follow the same procedures, you can definitely do so again, here at a view, I don't really see
anything I used there. A file. Of course this is important. If you come here, you can
export different things. You can export predict for
Mac since I'm on Windows, you can zip up the project
and maybe share it. One thing I usually use, yeah, without a doubt, is save. Navigate to wherever you want to save and then you
can save it there. You remember when it
was opening this file? I copied the name, so I don't really have to type. I'll just paste in the name. I'll paste in the name
that I copied from the other end and
then I will save it. I can continue from there in the next, in the next section. In the next section,
let's edit audio. I'll show you how you can
edit your Camtasia audio using audacity to
make it better. See you in the next section.
6. Camtasia Editing Audio: The next step is for
me to edit my audio. So let me delete this. I'm just going to
export the audio. So I will export the audio only. Also remember that you can separate audio and
video. That's important. Maybe you've brought in another
project that already has audio and you want to edit the audio and the
video separately. Once I do that, I'm going to come up here. I went to export the audio and it's going to get
exported as the WAV file. Let's go to Audacity
because I want to edit. I will open up Audacity. Wherever you save the audio
drug gets into Audacity. And you can see the
audio is booty low. Even after doing a bit of compression that I
did in Camtasia. The first thing I
want to do is I want to do noise reduction. So we'll get the noise
profile and let me go back to noise reduction
team to explain it to you. If you want to use this, make sure you reduce this. You can just use the same
setting them using here. You don't want to reduce
too much of your audio. It's going to spoil
the audio quality. So it's very
important for you to use very small settings. You can even reduce this down. This will help you ensure
that your audio is not too bad once you're done processing it. I'm just going
to click there. Okay. Going to do the noise
reduction pain for me. If you don't have any
other, any other tools for noise reduction, then repeat noise reduction. Just use this and use it in small bits until your
audio is much better. But for me, I do have
another tool here, our x, that is the isotope or x. If you don't have RX,
don't worry about it. Use the normal Audacity
tools to improve your audio. I'm going to apply this. And you can see I've also reduce this so that they're
not too much. And it can do that
Just one last time. We'll close that and something else that
I want to do here. Now, if you don't have
this, don't worry about it. You don't have to do
this. But I will do that. I'm just going to click. Okay, the next thing that I need to do before I do
anything else is to amplify the
audio and I'm going to use the audacity
normalize feature. First of all, select,
first of all, select the audio and then come
here under our normalize. Then I'm going to
normalize the audio. I can see that I need to
compress this audio somehow. So I'm just going
to come here under Effects and I will scroll. I do have a class
about using Audacity. And you can check that if
you want to learn more. But for this, I'm just going
to click here on compressor. Then I'm going to
click here on Okay. Once I do that, I'm going to compare
on the effects and economically Phi for this, this is not advisable, but since I recorded
at a very low volume, I'm just going to amplify
up to one dB for you. If your audio is loud enough, just use the normalized feature or you can amplify it up to 0. You can see the audio is now much louder than what it was. And this is going to be
the final result for me that I'm going to
put inside of Camtasia. You'll notice that I
have done this so much that I don't even listen to the audio when I'm editing it. I just know my
environment and I know exactly the things that I
need to do to make it better. I don't really have to
listen to the audio unless listened to it when
I'm editing the video, I'm going to export
this as a wave. I'll export it as a web hook. You can export as
Mp3 if you went to, but we've usually gives
the best audio quality. I will say density. These are the Meta
tags that comes up. So if this comes up for you, just give it a name, truck title that so this is like committed
data for your audio. If you've seen it somewhere, you can track it
using these settings. I'm just going to click Okay. I don't need this anymore. I'm just going to close it and then cancel. I
don't want to save. So of course for you, you should probably save, but for me I never save this. So I'm just going to
leave that there. And then I'm going to truck bound location for the
audio of just saved. Then once I do that, I will drag it into Audacity. This end, I will
need to delete that. Let me delete this audio
selected, select it, and then delete it, and then drug in the new
audio that you've edited. And you'll see it appear
here under media. Right now, the only
media we have is the recorded video,
camtasia project. This drug tin from wherever
you save it, you saved it. If I expand. You can see that is my new ordeal
much better, much louder. You've seen how you can edit your Camtasia audio
using Audacity. Now if you don't have
the tools that they had in Audacity, it
doesn't really matter. Just use the audacity tools. You're still going
to get better audio than someone who did
not edit the audio. Editing your audio is very
important and you must do it. If you went to people to watch
your videos and not feel like they're watching something that was not made
professionally. That's a very important
step in video editing. You must always edit your audio.
7. Camtasia Editing basics: You can expand it if you want to expand it and
see more of this, because you're going to
see that this is very helpful when you want to
edit a certain section. You want to remove a certain
section of your video. On this side you can see
we do have this element, the fascia an artist
start to eat, which is the easiest
to understand. For you to understand
that, let me zoom. If I click on that and I
click on this one as well. Well this does, this is a magnet that pulls
these to the beginning. It puts this to the very edge
of this part of the video. I can't I can't take it
anyway. If I take it there. You can see it is not
at the beginning, but if you bring it
down to this timeline, it's definitely snaps to the beginning of the
audio, to the video. Now this is very important. If you have videos that are, that are connected
to each other, maybe you have
multiple small videos that you are combining
to make one long video. You want to make
sure that there's no spacing between them. You can just do that and there won't be
any space between them. You see, if I uncheck that, we can have space and
maybe you may end up messing up something
in this video. Then you also have
this lock button. Now the lock button is also
very important in editing. Let me just come
in here and zoom. So if I lock this, it means that I
can delete an item here and it won't be
deleted down normally, what happened in Camtasia, if you have any elements
that are aligned, if you remove one, is going to delete everything that is within the selection. Let's say that I
want to remove that. If I remove that, you're
going to see that this and this would
both be reduced. In Windows. I usually
do Control X now Control X will delete
and delete this space. If I do Control X,
Control X like that, you see it has deleted and
you'll see that now it's like two different
projects that have joined together after
I do Control X, I think on a mock try
Command X that should do it. And even if he doesn't do it, is come here and look for cut. You can see cut is Control X. On a Mac. You can do whichever
command is given there. If this is not checked, it will cut the
area there and do total cut the media
which is down here. If you don't want
that, maybe you just want to delete an item. Let's say maybe this
is just an example, but I'm going to undo this. So let's say maybe you wanted to take the
word which is here. And you want to add it there. Before I do that, let me
show you something else. You can just select an
element when you select any elements like that and just press Delete
on the keyboard. You see that won't work
because I have this selected. So this remember that
you can uncheck that. You can disable that because if you do that,
it's going to bring it. But if you just do delete like that is going to give you space. So if you want some space, maybe you want to add in
another media in there. You uncheck these elements. Then you just press Delete. If you press Delete
on your keyboard is going to delete the element, but it's not going to join them. However, if you do Control
X or I believe Command X, you see that it's going to, it's going to close
out this space in-between, between
this element. I hope you understand exactly what I'm trying to say here. I'll do Control zed. And then finally I can
show you what this does. I can lock this,
can lock this drug. Once I lock this, whatever I
do will only happen to the one at the top or any
other that is not locked. If I do Control X only
this has been cut. The bottom one is intact. If I press Delete, you can see now we
have this space at the top where
this one is intact. I see it. I wanted to copy
this from here to here to show you as an example, let's just do that. I'm going to copy this and
just select it and do Control C. And remember to
unlock the lock, the area where you don't
want to edit for this, maybe onto add this
audio from there. To put it here. I'll just come in
here and I will do delete and recreate
space between these two. I can't even move it
to create more space. Then I will put the cursor
in there, do Control V. I will delete this. Remember, this is the
one that has been taken from the bottom
when I copied it, copied that as well. So if you want to
add that audio from there to there, you can do that. And then if this element and
this element from the same, same audio recording,
you can select them and then you can join them. Control Alt, Control Alt. That's going to stitch
this media together. And you can find ETL under edit. If you come here under Edit, you can find stitch, Control, Alt and I. So you can find the
correct shortcut key in your MOC as well. I will do Control Z. Control Z. To undo all these
changes have done. They were just examples
for illustration purposes. Then I'll do Control S to save. Now under Settings, you can put automatic saving for
anything that you do. So that is basic
editing, Camtasia.
8. Speed up camtasia video correctly: I'm going to start
editing this recording. And you're going to
see that editing is a step-by-step process. You don't skip any steps whereby you have to
edit every second, every minute until you
finally finish the process. There's something
that I forgot to do that I usually do for
some of my audios. And I think for this one, it's something that
they need to do. And that is, I need to speed
up the audio just a bit. I'm going to delete that audio. And then I'm also going
to see right now, it says that it's to two
minutes and ten seconds. I'm going to speed it up, add clip speed on this. And I'll just click
there on clips speed. I can split it up by about 10%. Don't do the speeding
on Camtasia. You're going to get the chipmunks voice and
you don't want that. I'm going to open up
Audacity and I'm going to bring in the audio in there. I will come here
and effects and I'm going to go into change tempo. And I will speed
it up by 11, 11%. And that's going to reduce it in the same ratio as
the other 1157. One minute, 57 seconds. And this one is also
one minute 57 seconds. You can also speed it down. If maybe you are
speaking too fast, you can slow it down. And I'm going to export it
once again, export as wave. I will drag the audio back-in. Let me just delete this
because I'm not using it. So everything you import into
your project will be here. Any audio, images, any other videos that you add here that will all be listed under video. So you'll see that
once I add this, it will also be instead. I can use that. You can see
that they're now in the same, they're almost in the same line. Split up the Camtasia video
and sped up the audio. We've already started
editing much. We're going to start editing
moving forward through the timeline until we finally finish editing this predict.
9. Editing camtasia Timeline: Let's continue. I
will start editing, so sometimes I
won't be speaking, but I'll be explaining
the things that I'm doing as I listen to this audio. So I'll play for this
Camtasia tutorial. We definitely need a
project and we're going to learn Camtasia through
editing a project. Let me record a
screencast and then we're going to use that
throughout this course. We're going to use
that throughout these computer tutorial. So at that point you hear that there's some kind of
hesitation around here. I'm going to figure
out how to move, remove bat, or match them. Throughout this course. We're going to use that
throughout starting from here. So let me record
a screencast and then we're going to use that
throughout this course. We're going to use that 12 is. We're going to use
that throughout this. Let me figure out
where that starts and then I'll remove it
and join it with this. These we are going
to I will expand. We're going to we're going to we're going to use that starts from there. I need to find the other data. We're going to delete
that and tap it, delete, then Tab it. Cost an immigrant to use
that towards these goals. Then we're going to use that. These are going to
use that twist. This, got to use that
throughout this. Let me just move it up to
there and then I'll listen and hear what implications it
has on the final process. Screencast. And then
we're going to use that throughout these
Camtasia tutorial, accord, a screencast, and then we're going to use
that throughout these. So if we remove this code, a screencast and
we're going to use, I'll just leave that
it is not too bad. I can leave it like that. If it goes too fast
like that before probably won't notice there's
anything missing there. Screencast. And then
we're going to use that throughout these
conditions tutorial. Somewhere here we
can add a heading. I wonder videos to
be shorter now, so let's do that in
the next section, I'm going to add our notation
in the next section.
10. Working with Annotations: Let's add a title and you're going to do that
using this on additions, also called the call-outs. I will add an annotation. Just click there
on annotation and then you can drag
in an annotation. You can see the different types. You can even have
all these other us, any of these that you want. I will use the simple ones. Also have some that I saved and when to use
one of the boats. I'm going to show you
where you can save it. On the other end,
I'm going to bring the black one. Let me zoom in. Zoom oh Taemin. So I will increase
the size like that. And potato for this video is
project Camtasia project. Or I can call it about
about the Camtasia project. Of course I went to
increase the font. Just click outside
and click back on it. We can increase the font. You can change the style
of anything inside there. You can change the background
color right there. Just click. If you were to change
the color of the font, you can do that here. Maybe on the color to be blue. You can change that day.
You can change the font. If you want to change the font that is there, you
can do that there. Let's go to the actual board. And on the actual board, you can also change the color. If you interchange it,
you can change the color. If you interchange the border, you can change the color
of the border as well. You can increase the
size of the border. You can increase the
size of the border. I'm going to leave it like that. Let's click back on it. Anything else a
chance to change. Maybe you want it to be opaque, you want it to be translucent. I mean, that is their
opacity for the border. You can change that opacity
for this entire call out. You can also do that as well. See, if you like the
change you've met. You can click there. I did. Do your user call-outs. Just click on the plus button. If you want to undo anything, you can undo anything
that you've done. You can add different call-outs. If you went to
point to anything. If you have two
points to anything, you see all these options
that are available here. You can use any of these. All the call-outs or here, maybe you want these to
increase the thickness, you can increase the
thickness of that, and so on. Maybe you want to use
these for pointing. You can do that. To
change the color. You can change the color. You can do that though, but you can see the background for this is really not clear. So that's why it's not, it's not clearly visit
is not clearly visible. However, you will see
where you can use it. When you're editing
your own videos. You've seen how you
can add a callout. We're going to continue
on in the timeline of this video and see if there's anything else
that you can remove.
11. Working with Camtasia cursor effects plus zooming and panning: Start from somewhere here. And we're going to
use that throughout these computer tutorial
to learn how to use. So you can see they suppose
here I can remove the pose. To learn how to use continues throughout these
computer tutorial to learn how to use Camtasia. So let's say maybe
my videos about teaching people how
to use Audacity too. I'm just going to pick that
one. Audacity. I clicked on Audacity somewhere here. But you can see it's
not clearly visible. That's because they zoomed in, In the beginning of
the video to make this video ten ATP to fix
the video to ten ATP. Now I can rectify that
if I just come in here, like an odd zoom and pan. So if I come here
under animations, I can just zoom, I can just spun it down. And I know if we go like that, it's going to show me that
while it is planning there, I can zoom in. I went to add the
Zoom in separately. So you can see you can
increase the length, increase the, the timing. How long is it going to zoom? The zooming effect. You've seen how it has
zoomed into that area. This is very
important when you're trying to make a point. You're trying to show people
something specific in a different part of the video to learn how to use Camtasia. Lets say maybe my video is about teaching people how
to use Audacity. Know something that I
didn't do in the beginning, in the beginning of my video. And I will just add
them right now. Is casa effects. The different costs I fix. Just come in here and choose whichever one you want to use. You know, I just
prefer to use that. Just drag it down to the video. And then you can
change the color. I will change it to black
and then reduce the opacity. If you look at it, you'll
see that it is a bit opaque. You can see it is
a bit transparent. I can even reduce it further
because they don't know what else I will be showing
using the kasa. I don't want you to block
whatever I'm trying to show. Then I'm going to compare. I will add that left clicks. Then this will be the effect and I can change
the color of that. And I will also go
to right-click. If somebody clicks,
I want to add that, but they fit that
I went to add is different color, a
different color. So if somebody left-click, right-click there,
we'll see that color. And that way people can know
that these are different. So you can see that in the beginning of the
video is going to be He's going to be still
yellow. The Casa is yellow. And that's because
these animations usually override each other. Like you can see at this point, it is yellow, but starting
from here, I'm moving on. Animations of added will be the ones that you can see here with these
different colors. If you want these animations, these are the first things
you need to do in your video. I forgot to tell you that, but that is a good
teachable moment. So these animations
for the Kazaa, you always add them at the
very start of the video. That way it becomes part
of the entire video. From now on, the rest of
the cursor will be black. But after this animation, it's these different colors. I'm just going to
leave it like that. To tell you what to do. You'll just come all
the way back there. You see this, put your
cursor at the very start and then put your cursor
animations there. And it's going to span
out for the entire video. This point you can see
that is too zoomed in. So I'm just going to
zoom it back out. And I can do that
somewhere here. Before I even do that, let me just remove some of the space. Let's see Which word that is. And I can remove that. I'm going to, I'm going
to animate it out. So I'm going to zoom it out
like that to the entirety. Let me just put it there. I can do it in a nice manner. Pick their own Udacity. Maybe my aim is to show
people how to use an SET. So if you want to
record an audio, I can remove the
soul which is here, doesn't do much for me here. And then if you want, I can close out the space and
remove some of the ending. If you want to record an audio. If you want to record an audio material
microphone is selected. And you can see this is a place whereby I will probably need to show people exactly
what's happening. I have to Zoom I have
to zoom into that. If you want to record an audio material
microphone is selected. And then you can just
click on that button. And that's going
to record within continue from this point
in the next section.
12. Editing continues: The editing goes on. Let's listen up and see what else we can remove
odd or change. Can also notice that video is reducing the more areas
we cut and remove. Make sure your
microphone is selected. And then you can just
click on that button. Here. You can see I
can reduce this space. Then you can just
click on that button. And that's going to record. There's something
I want to remove your mouth effects
mild sounds button, and that's going to record
our audio as we speak. So that is how to
record an audio will remove the salt from here. Teeth. How to record an audio? Once it's recorded, you
just stop and maybe you went to the teeth, how to record an audio. Once it's recorded, you
just stop and maybe you went to maybe at this point, I want to show them, maybe the video is going
to foster that point. So I can just show them using
one of these annotations. That is how to record an audio. Once it's, once it's
recorded, stop. I just go to annotations
and remember, we are in that, In section. There's choose 100
edition from there, you can double-click
it. You can drag it in. So I'm going to put that, I'm going to put that there. I will reduce the drawer
time so that it is drawn much faster audio once
it's recorded the desktop. So I can reduce true time. The time is already reduced. So let me increase
the thickness. I will put it there so that we can know that's what
we're clicking on. Then I can reduce it like that. And I can even make it a
different color like black. Got an audio once it's recorded,
either stop frequency, even if it's going fast,
someone is going to know that that's
where I clicked. And maybe you want to, you want to increase the
amplitude of the audio. And maybe you want to, you want to increase the
amplitude of the audio. What you're going to
do at this point, I need to zoom out
to cover more area. So I will come back to
animations and zoom up to there. I can make it static
Zooming from even somebody. That is how to record an audio. Once it's recorded, you just
stop and maybe you want to, if you want to increase the
amplitude of the audio, what you're going to do,
you're going to normalize the audio unless point or that point as well,
It's going too fast. So I will use the
same thing here. Control C. You can
just click on on an element and
Control C to copy it. I will drag it here to normalize because this
is what I clicked on. It's going to give
someone an idea where to click if the
video is going too fast, which we're going to do, you're
going to normalize that. So it's okay to do,
you're going to normalize the audio to
raise the amplitude. To do you're going to normalize the audio to raise
the amplitude. Here they some hesitation, hear the audio to
raise the amplitude. So there isn't much I
can do their audio. Raise the amplitude,
just leave that there. You don't seek perfection. So I'm just going to
leave that there. Then maybe you want to do
noise reduction for this. I'm just going to click on. Let us go back a little bit, raise the amplitude, and then maybe you want to
do noise reduction. Here. There's some
hesitation to remove that. I'll just remove
it up to that bit. And then maybe you want to
do noise reduction for this. I can leave it like that. And I know the noise
reduction thing that I want to do
is way below here. So I can just zoom out again. To do noise reduction for this, I'm just going to click on, I'm just going to click on
noise reduction on getting. Maybe you want to do a
reduction for these. I'm just going to click
on remove this bit. Nodes reduction for these, I'm just going to click on
noise reduction on getting a nice profile and then come down to effects and repeat
the noise reduction. Maybe I went to do
compression for this, I'm going to do effects and then I will come
back to compressor. And at this point, I definitely need to zoom. Don't depend to that area. And then this bond like
that, I shouldn't do it. Before I click that on for this, I'm going to do effects and
then we'll come back to compressor and I will compress. And then, and then again you
can see Daisy space here. I don't really need that. Before any action happened. I can remove that. I'm removing them by Control X. You can do Control X or
you can cut right there. Control X. I will compress. And then, and then let
me just pop back again. You're probably wondering why
am I panning and zooming? This is the only way you
can make responsive videos. Videos that when people are
watching on a mobile phone, on an iPad or computer, the videos are still visible regardless
of the screen size. Without that, then when people are watching them
on smaller screens, they may have problems of viewing exactly
what you're doing. And that's important,
especially when you're creating illustration
videos like this. You need to make
it sac that people can watch them on smaller
devices without really having to strain or
having to look for a different video compress. And then once they do that, I can also normalize it
to amplify it once again. So that is the project for
this Skillshare classes. I can reduce that they're the project for
this Skillshare classes. And you're going to see
how to predict for this. So you can see there,
I noticed that I made an error and I decided to record the entire thing again. So let's start and see predict
for this empty jar class. And you're going to see how to, how to work with Camtasia. That's from Camtasia class. Let's see which part
I need to remove. That is the project for
this Skillshare class. And you're going to see
how to predict for this. That is a project for
the project for this is that is the remove
button tablet. Once I do that, I
can also normalize it to amplify it. Once again. Sodium move B. So that is a
product for this Camtasia. And then here I will remove. So I just clicked on
that to expand or other to zoom in so that they can
see this space and delete it. That is a project for
this Camtasia class. And you're going to see how to, how to work with Camtasia through editing this audio data. You're going to
implement to see how to, how to work with me, to see how to how to begin to see how it got to
work with Camtasia in editing. So if you're not
taking puff picture, you can just leave it like that. It is a truly, really
affect the audio. And you're going to
see how to work with Camtasia through
editing this audio, are going to edit to
editing this video. We're going to edit
it completely. You're going to see
different things. How to zoom in, how
to cut out areas, how to add images, how to add annotations
and so much more. So let's get started
editing this. I can just remove this. So let's get started editing this project
in the next video. Let's get started
editing this project. In the next section. I noticed that I don't want
to use the word video. So I'm just going to
remove this entire bit. Let's get started editing this
project in the next video. Or at this point I can just remove that because I
like that recording better. I can just remove all
the way to this point. If a plate did editing this
project in the next section, this point, when I'm
talking about this, I can start zooming out
all the way to the end. Tilt areas, how to add images, how to add annotations
and so much more. Let's get started editing this project in
the next section. If you're really serious about editing your videos,
you normally do. I do over the same way I
started from the start. I just started from
the stack again and go all the way to the end. If it's not really that crucial and you're not a perfectionist, it doesn't really affect the quality of the
audio too much. There are people
who actually upload their videos without
editing them, which is a no, no for you. Now that you know
how to use Camtasia to edit your recordings. So let's see what else we
can do in the next part.
13. More Camtasia editing features: At this point, I want
to add on ending video and astatine
video molecule intro. Let's come in here. And I will go into library. Here in the library there
are lots of resources. Some McCain with Camtasia. I think that is in default. The one that I wanted
to use, this one. I put it. Let's get started editing this project in
the next section. I want to add it at
the beginning as well. So if we click on this,
it's going to take me to the beginning of
any other element. So you can see it has taken
me to the beginning of that, the beginning of this element. And I can do that until it gets to finally the
beginning of this. Here's where I can add this
and this is like my intro. For this Camtasia tutorial, we definitely need a project. So for this one, this is a call-out. You can click on the callout. And then here under behaviors, here you see the different
ways in which you can make the colors behave. For example, this
colored behaviors. You just drag them
onto the callout or onto any video that
you want them to. So this is not only
for call-outs, it for the videos as well. So if I start to watch it, you'll see that the animation added on it. Editing
your project. Let me record a screencast
and then we're going to use, if you just click
on the call-outs, the animation is here. But if you can see
the animation, you can also click this. Any element that you
add onto an element. You can always see all of them
by just clicking on that. For this, you can click
on that and it will show you all the things that
we added on our video. And if you just
clicked down there, they will be hidden again. For this, I'll click on
it and I went to remove during you can see that
during dislocated.
14. Camtasia custom export project: Let's continue. The last thing. We're
going to export our video on Windows. If you want to export a video, you can do it as quickly
as control P. Save, and then I can just do Control P. You'll see that there are different options
that you can have here. You can add your own presets, MP4 only up to this. And if you want
your videos to be exported in up to ten ATP, what you can do is you can select that stunned
ATP up there. If you want to use
your own presets, but you want to use
it to attend AT PTS, select that tin ATP
and then click on Add, click on Add or Edit preset. And when I do that, I can
edit that Camtasia in ATP. And you cannot switch, select the precipitate onto
edit right there. You can create a new
one. You can see this. This was created by Camtasia. So probably they don't
want you to edit it. What you can do is you
can just click on New. And when you click on New,
you can give it a name. Let's call it CAM tutorial. We'll just call it constitutes. You can give it a description, of course you want
it MP4 file format. Before you can even choose an
icon and add an icon to it. I'm going to give that to
you if you want to add an icon to the name so that when it appears among the
list, you can see an icon. You can choose an icon
from your computer. I'm going to go next. And this is an
important part because you remember the MP4
that I've chosen. If we go back, the
MP4 I've chosen, come to this multiplier. I don't want that.
I'm going to go next. And then I will come here. And you can see where it says
produce with a controller. I definitely don't
want to controller. I just want my MP4 video
without any controller. This is going to come
with some HTML files and you can automatically
play it wherever you take it. You can just play it with the HTML files that
it comes with. It, who come with
the HTML5 player. That's not something
that you want if you're recording for YouTube. So just remove
produce controller as soon as you check all of that
or this will be disabled. So let's go to save. You want to look at the sites? Of course, you can change
the production size. So for me, I usually
like to use, use the editing dimensions. The moment you know, you uncheck that you can add values there. Then keep the aspect
ratio definitely. But what you want to do, you always want to make sure you're using the
editing dimensions. That way your video
is not going to get compressed in any way. Make sure you're using editing dimensions and then
video settings, of course, frame rate. Definitely, if you record at 60, you want your video
to come out at 60, then that honors where
you can leave it there. You can put it at ten. The keyframe. You can put it at ten or five. Let's read more
about this to figure out What's the best settings. But that you definitely want
your video to be at 60. If it was recorded at 60, you can also put it at
the FPS and that's okay. Then encoding, you
want to encode it. Quality usually just leave that at quantity
on neutrally sure, the implication of that
a limited quality. And then for this, your video quality,
at some point, there's just no
difference in video, so it's just best
to compress it. So at this point,
how do you want to compress it up to 70%? So the quality will be
70% normally after 70%. I mean, at this point you probably won't notice
the difference. So just leave it at 70% so that the video can
reduce in size. Of course, there are certain, certain percentage
that if you go to your video quality
will be terrible. Just put it there around
7075. That should be okay. Then this I don't know
the implication of this, so I'm just going to
leave that as best laid. This one as well. I'm
going to leave it there. Multiple files. No, not really. I don't have any
mockups on my videos, so I'm just going to leave that unchecked
and then Color Mode, I want it at NTSC. That's the default and that's
the one I'll leave it at. And then I'll just go let me see if there's anything else
that I need to change here. And coding audio,
of course, audio. If you really want
good quality audio and you don't mind about, you don't care about
the size of the video. You should probably go to somewhere above
the 24 kilobytes. This is too compressed because
there isn't you want to do this is because
wherever you upload your video is going
to get compressed. Why not just give them the best audio so that
even if they compress it, equality will not be as bad. So the best thing you can do
for yourself is to make sure your audio is at least
minimum 320 kilobytes, limited through 20 kb. That when you upload
it on YouTube, YouTube is going to do
the compression and it's not going to affect
your audio quality too much. And then he and options,
there is nothing there. So I'm just going to click
Next. Anything else? Cr, use this option to add another copyright information to your video file. I
don't care for that. Produce a packaged e-learning
lesson with your videos. Here, you can do that, but I don't know
why it's disabled. Maybe there's something
that's missing. Include a watermark. If you want to add
watermarks to your videos, you can do that right there. I'm just going to
click on Finish. And once they do, once
they click on Finish, you will see that
option has been added to my list of
production settings. So if we go next,
what's happening here? I have to close this.
I can see it clearly. I have to close that. And now if I come here, I should see my com 2D. So if I, if I would've added an icon, it
will be shown here. But I didn't add one. So they're using
the default icon. I'm just going to click on it. And I can use this to produce,
but I don't use that. I can use that
when I click Next. I'm just going to give it a name and that will produce my video. But for now, I want to use that. And then I'll click Next. And you can give your, your video and M, This would
be the name of your video. This will be the location for where your video will be and then organize produced
files into sub folder. You can, you can put every
video in a folder, of course, usually uncheck that so
that all videos will just be in the folder where
I decided to put them. You can show production results. When the video is produced,
you will see the result, the size of the video, the frames, the
length, and so on. And then you can play
video production. I found that on Windows, this usually leads
to Camtasia crash. I don't know that that
issue has been fixed, but it used to crash my Camtasia and
sometimes the video that came out couldn't play with
this, leave this unchecked. There is no point in
playing the video of the production and yet
I can click on it. As long as you've checked production results, That's okay. The video is going
to come up as soon as it's produced and
then you can play it. Then I'm just going to
click here on Finish. There we go. So
it's been produced. And you can see it will tell
you the length of the video besides the video dimension and so much more
about your video. What I'll do next is
I can click there, open the production
folder and then play it. These Camtasia tutorial, we
definitely need a project and we're going
to learn Camtasia through editing our project. So let me record a screencast
and then we're going to use that throughout these
computer tutorial to learn how to use Camtasia. Lets say maybe my video is about teaching people how
to use Audacity. I'm just going to click
there on Audacity. Maybe my aim is to show
people how to use Audacity. If you want to record an audio material microphone
is selected here, and then you can just
click on that button. And that's going to record
our audio as we speak. That is how to record an audio. Once it's recorded, you just
stop and maybe you want to, you want to increase the
amplitude of the audio. What you're gonna do,
You're going to normalize the audio to raise
the amplitude. Then maybe you went to do a
noise reduction for this. I'm just going to click on
noise reduction on getting a nice profile and then Command effect and repeat
the noise reduction. Maybe I want to do
compression for this. I'm going to do effects and
then we'll come back to compressor and I will compress. And then once I do that, I can also normalize it to
amplify it to once again, that is a project for
this Camtasia class. And you're going to
see how to work with Camtasia through
editing this audio, go to Edit, through
editing this video. We're going to edit
it completely. You're going to see
different things. How to zoom in, how
to cut out areas, how to add images, how to add annotations
and so much more. Let's get started editing this project in
the next section. All right, that's how to edit the video until
you finally have a finished product that you
can produce and share with your subscribers or
on your website. So that's pretty
much it for this. But committed
spots, Let's create short video that will just show you how you can use some of the different
animations here. I'm just going to click
on finish to finish this. And then I will save. And
that's the end for this part.
15. Creating Video intro - 1: In this video, let's
create an intro. We're going to use some
of the custom animations which we're going to build
in this video is this. Let me just open it
in a detached Canvas. To sampling. We're going to see how
we can build this in this video are the assets
that I've used in this video. I will provide them. By the time you're
watching this video, I will love uploaded the
assets. What you have here. This is an audio files that you're going to use
in the actual video. So I'm going to come back here and I'm just going to
start from scratch. So I'm going to
start a new project. Save know, I'm going to drag in everything that I need
for this tutorial. I will need this sample logo. I will need this. I just put them in there. The logo itself looks like this. The logo for the business.
It looks like this. And you can do this
however you want, but I just want to create
a simple one. Back to. I don't have to create
a very long video. We're going to start
with the first element and other drug in
the main logo item. And you can see that
it has size deep into the size of the image and the background is also
not working well. With that. I welcome here. I will go into project settings and
I want to create a video or an intro
of that is ten ATP. You can do for K or whichever
value you want to do. But I'm going to
do ten ATP and I'm also going to change the
background to be white. Then I will apply. So let me fit that. And I wanted to have
to resize that or just use it as it is. I went to my full video
to be about ten seconds. About ten seconds. That should do it. For the animations. You're going to add
them one at a time. I'm going to add
photon for this. After this, I'm going to add the next ones and
so on and so forth. Let's go to animations and you can drag in a
custom animation into any video or any media
element on your timeline. Let me just expand that. If we double-click on it, the head signifies where
this is going to end up. I went to end up there. Then the tail. The tail signifies where
this is going to begin. I want you to begin
outside of the video. Of course, I didn't want
it to be that long, but just to have a look
at what to expect. That wet. I don't want
it to be that long, so I'm just going
to drag it down. So that's the
animation is shorter. That's the first bit.
16. Creating Video intro 2: Alright, that's the first bit. The next bit, Let's go to media and you're
going to add this. Of course I went to Edit as
soon as this one is finished. We want it to be added as well. I'm going to go above
two animations. I will drag down a
custom animation and ask for the animation. I want you to end up here. End up, we want it to begin. So wherever you
want it to begin, just click on the
animation and then bring this to the tail
of the animation. Then we want you to
start from the top. I can push the animation. Buck like that. If a plate is going to
come down like that. Now the last one for
the logo, we went to. The other media item, the other media ITM
wards business. I'm going to add business
after this animation. And this one is where I want
it to come from the top. Down here. It does add an animation. Animation. So the animation,
the way it works, ear on the tail, this
is where you tell it the animation should begin. And then on the head,
the head right there, when it's read like that, this is where the
animation will end up. So I want you to
end up, eventually, I wanted to end up with that era and then we're
going to correct that. But I wanted to begin from outside of the
video from the top. I want you to come
from the top down. Let me select that. And I went it to come
from the top preview. I can preview it like that. But I want you to come from the very start of the
very start of this. Just from this dots. You
see, that's how it is. Now, of course
there is an error, so let's rectify it using
an animation as well. That is of course
what you need to do. So I'm going to bring
this up to ten. I'll just drag these
images out until they reach ten seconds because I don't want this to be
longer than ten seconds. You can make it shorter if you don't like long introductions. As soon as it gets here
we went to rectify it. And we're going to start
better define this one. I will add another
custom animation here. I will select, I just
double-click on that animation. And I went to bring
this one buck. When it comes back. I hope that it will be
enough space right there. And then I don't want
it to be that loan. So as soon as it gets there, that one is already rectified. Then now we went
to rectify simple. I'll just bring another
animation there. I don't want it to
be too long as well. If I double-click on it, it will take me to the head. And the head is where we want
it to end up into 12 to end up here like that. And the next element we went to ratify is that now
for that whatsoever, we're going to add an animation. I'm just going to
make it shorter and double-click on its
head so that it ends up just from this dot. That is done.
17. Creating Video intro 3: This from the start.
That is done. And there's something
else that I remember I added
this was spinning. So if you want this to spin, we can just add an
animation there, select it. And then we're going to
drag the animation down. And if you wanted to spin,
just double-click on it. And on this end you
see these elements. This can make it spin. This will make it spin, that's anticlockwise or clockwise. And this can make it
spin in the y-axis. So if you want it to spin any
way you can make it spin. For instance, if you wanted to spend like that,
it can spin like that. If you wanted to spin like
that, it can be like that. Just do that. And to clear that I want mine to
spin continuously, I'm just going to and I don't
want it to spin too fast, so I'll make it paying for
that number of degrees. And I just spun this on outs all the way until
the end of the video. And when I do that to what's
happened is it's going to continue spinning
slowly, just like that. But you can see that
it's speeding up. So if it's speeding
up like that, this right-click on
it and you can enable easing and the different types of easing that you can do here. But I want to do linear. And linear is going to
make sure that it eases continuously without having
to speed up at any point. Then for this ones as well, Let's see how this
animation happens. The animation that happens here, We can try and make it bounce. This animation and
it will easing. Let's make it bounce
and see how that looks. Easing, easing is how
it ends the animation. How does it end it? Let's see how this
one is going to work. That's much better. I prefer that the
bones like that. And you can actually start the spinning as soon as it gets. If you want anything
else to spin, you can make it spin. If you want to write
that he's done.
18. Creating Video intro 4: Right, So that is done. Now the next thing we're
going to group this. If you want to do any animation for all these three together,
you can group them. I'm just grouping them for better animation,
better presentation. I mean, if you want
to group them, once you select them, you can just right-click
and then click on Group. Or you can just do Control G, or you can do whichever
option you are given here. If you're on a Mac, if you click on it there,
I can give it a name. Let's just call it logo. I can close it. Now the
next thing is I went to add the social media icons. This social media, we
only have this and this and you can add
more if you want to. I'm going to say that I want
my animation to end up, I went to my animation to end
up there. This one as well. You can match the sizes
using the yellow lines. Let me animate this
before I add the arts. This image shown. Start to Facebook. Add a custom animation. And I want you to end up there. But I do want to start
from somewhere else. Where do I get these? Let me just take it outside. I can copy this
animation and paste it. Paste control V. I can
select the animation above. The animation below. You can see that the image, of course that's
not what I want. This point. Let's take YouTube all the way. Just double-click
on the animation. Then I can drag YouTube
a little bit farther. And when they do that, you see that the animation
is different. I need to change the
entry point for this. There we go. So they'll
just come in together. Just coming together, and then they will
split at the end. Of course, I went to
change this into, let's make this linear,
this one as well. Linear. That they can go at
the same pace. There we go. The next day, I went to add the final animation and that
you come from this side. And that is sampled business. And for that I can just
use an annotation. I will use a textual at
text-based annotation Control Z. And I don't want any kind
of spinning on that. I'm just going to do
a simple business. Select the entire thing and
then I will change the font. I can use the same font as
the ones that are used. Of course I will expand that. Put it at the center with this. For that as well. I want
to add an animation. I will add the animation. Bring that in there. Then of course you want it
to end up there. So we just need to change the starting point
or the animation. And for it, I wanted to start from the outside of the video. I'm going to bring this just like that and I can
just leave it like that. Nothing fancy that should do it. And what else should a RGI? Is there anything else
that was in the original? You can space these
things however you want. You know how to work with
Camtasia at this point, so you can just space these out. And of course we don't want
them to go out like that. Do you want it to fade out? So I'm just going to use one of these already made animations. Let's see if there is one. I can use an opacity. I'm going to use that.
I'm going to take that. I'm going to reduce the size and then I'm going to copy it. Control c. And let me just
bring this up a little bit. Control to select that control, to select that control, press Control to select
that one as well. And then it will bring the
cursor all the way out. And then I'll do Control V. I don't know why I went
there, but it doesn't matter. I'm just going to
delete this one. And then a print control
on my Windows keyboard. Then I will select,
Select, select, and it can move all of this
to the very end of the video. When they end the ease out, when they end, it
doesn't end abruptly.
19. Creating Video intro 5: Alright, so let's add
the music that I'd used. I can just come in
here into the library. And I will go if you're
not already here, just come to Camtasia library. Camtasia 2021 or whichever
version you're using. And I use something
to do with the piano. That's the one. I
can bring that. I wanted us to cut
it somewhere there. So I'll select it and
I'll just press S on my keyboard. And
S he's going to. So I can delete the other end. I can also reduce this
one down further. Doesn't have to be that loud. And then up to this point, I just double-click there. I'll double-click there. I will double-click there, and I can use these
to fade out somehow. You can also use fade out
here from the audio effects. There's a fade-out about, I want to do it from here. Then there's another video is another audio that
I just recorded. And you can use
your audio as well. On Tuesday, last
bit of this audio. And once you get it, you can just listen to it. Just a sampling sample business. That's pretty much
it for this intro. Just a sample B is in it. You can extract this as
a video or you can save it as an asset in your Camtasia. If you want to save it
as an asset in Camtasia, just do Control a to
select everything. If you're on a Mac Command
a, that should do it. And then I'm just
going to do group. Or you can do
Control G or Command G. And you can give it a name. If you double-click on it, you can give it a name. And let's just call this intro. You can just use
the animation and your creativity to come up with a very wonderful
intro for yourself. And this video, she was take
you in the right direction. Once you change them,
if you want to save it. Once you save it, you
can do Control Shift a, or you can just right-click. And when you right-click,
you can add to library and you can
give it a name. We can call it intro video, and you can choose where
you want to store it. You understood it in default, or you want to store
it somewhere else. You can use conversational, use a visible size, but of course, we changed
the conversation to ten ATP. If you used a
different canvas size, then you can go back and
edit it appropriately. So once you select
where you went to the library, you can do okay. If I open another project, new project, let's say Save, I can save this as
competition intro. Let's say that I open
another video that have walked on recent projects. Now if I come here under labor and a good two
defaults, you'll see it here. And I can add it at
the end of my video. If we go all the way to the end, Let's get started
editing this project. In the next section, you see the sampled beings and you see that now it
doesn't have the background. This is why it is best to add a background
in a manual manner. Because when you
change the project, when he change it through
the Project Settings, you'll notice that it has it, it doesn't have a background. It can be put on any background, any background color if
you want the background to be always white when you're
editing the project, come here under an additions and then white background, manually. Your video. We'd always have
that background. I mean, your intro will
always have that background. Let's get started editing this project in
the next section. Of course, when you do
that, remove the text. Just a sampling of benzene
and that's how you can create an intro and you
can go further with this, use it to make yours
even better than mine. That's it for this video. If you have any question, feel free to let me know.
