1. Introduction: Do you like to draw in the street or doodle? But often gets stuck wondering what to draw and how to start. Are you one of those people who feel anxious to draw? When? Then you have tuned in to the right class. This class will change the way you doodle and draw. I'm Pooja. I'm a watercolor artist based out of North America. Some of you must be knowing me by my brand name, by the league said art studio on Instagram. A bit. Hello and a warm welcome to my 14th skill share class. Today's class is all about sharpening your skills. And we're going to do some fun projects. I'm not talking about five or ten, but together we are going to draw 50 unique doodles. And I'm going to walk you through the process of doodling. I'm going to help you build your own doodle library comprising of 50 seasonal and assorted doodles. And by the end of the class, you will be confident to illustrate and draw. Once you have your library ready, you can digitize these doodles and make your clip art collection or even digitalized patterns which you can visualize on a variety of products. The possibilities are endless. Does that sound one? It sure does to me? Crap or paper and pen. And let's get started.
2. Supplies for Doodling: So let's look at the art supplies that we are going to need for this class. We will need a Benson and an eraser to sketch some basic shapes and doodles. You can use any pencil, a mechanical pencil, or a basic boot pencil works absolutely fine. Then we are going to need some fine liner pins. For this class. I'm specifically going to use the WHO, who, who find liner drawing bends. That communist set of eight. These pens are pigment based, so you can count on their quality. You can use these with all sorts of pens and people. Markers, watercolor markers, color pencils, greeting cards, construction people. They're quite nice for note-taking, sketching, bullet journaling, technical fine line drawing, and a lot of other applications. Now let's look at all the swatches and sizes of all depends that come in this set. Now you don't need to have bands of all of these sizes. But a 0.5 or 0.8 or 0.3 is good enough to do all the drawings in this class. But because I have the set, I will just show you widths of all the pens. So the very first one that I SWACH was a 0.05, which is the thinnest Ben in this set. And the next one that we have is the 0.1, which is quite nice. And tin. The next one after that is a 0.2.2 is also a good size. To make some intricate details. Then x2, x1 is 0.3, which has a good thickness. The next one in this set is 0.5. Now, 0.5 is most of the times and ideal choice for me because it's taken off and it's also big mentored and adds a good contrast against the white people. The next one in this set is a 0.7. usually, I always see a 0.8. I've seen a lot of that size in the sigma micron sets, but 0.7. is slightly thinner than 0.8 obviously. So that's a good size to have. And the thickest one in this set is one, which is ready dark and cake. And they have also included a brush pen in this set, which is very bold and saturated. And you can draw lines of multiple thicknesses. So these are all the pins that are included in this or who, who find line drawing set. So feel free to use any events that you have handy. It's not necessary to have this exact brand of pens. Now, let's move on to paper or sketchbooks. Because this class is about doodling and a lot of line work, I would recommend using a smooth surface people, something that is not very greening. As for me, I'm going to use one of the sketch books by low strewn 1917. These sketchbooks come in a variety of sizes. I have some A5 sketchbooks in both portrait and landscape. Then I also have an A4 size sketchbook. Now, these sketchbooks from lush from 1917 have an option of embarassing anything you like on the friend hardcover. So I've got my brand name embossed on each of the sketchbooks. And finally, an eight by eight interests sketchbook, which is the one that I'm going to use today in the class. One of the sketch books have bright white people and have a thickness of 150 GSM. The paper is super smooth and my bends glide smoothly on the paper surface. Each of these sketchbooks have beautiful bookmarks that are attached to the sketchbook. Now I also have this other sketchbook that I got from Hobby Lobby and it has decent people for lined work. So feel free to use any paper or sketchbook that does not have or greenie too tall, rough texture.
3. Winter Doodles - Sock, Hat, Glove: In this section of the class, we will try to paint students that are related to window and Christmas and to paint these dunes. I'm using my 0.5. Ben. And let's start by drawing a Christmas stocking or Salk. The process to draw every student is going to be quite straightforward. So I'm just drawing a basic shape of the Salk and making some markings about the way a sock looks like. And then very gradually, I will proceed to start making the design on the sulk. So I'm just adding one line at a time. I'm building this design in my head as I'm drawing the sock. So I'm just adding a couple of zigzag lines, a couple of horizontal lines, some double borders. Once you put down your pen to the paper, ideas will start flowing. So don't stress too much about what to draw. If you're simply watching this video before drawing, things will start flowing as you get into the process. So as you can see, I'm just building it step-by-step. I added a couple of polka dots. I'm adding some vertical lines. I'm switching to a thicker brush, brush pen, rhabdo. And just filling up the borders to make the Salk look bold. All our doodles are going to be black and white. So I think some black sections are black portions is really going to help the illustrations or drawings or sketches look really bright and appealing. And now I'm switching to appoint three pin, which is quite thin compared to the Brush size spin, and 0.5. Depending on the area that you want to fill up. You can switch between bends. And I'm just adding a few more details, adding some horizontal lines again. Trying to take in some of the lines, repeating the bone Godard Patton and does exact pattern. Repeating patterns at regular intervals is really a good idea because it adds a sense of completeness to your doodle. And that's our sock is looking at the moment. And that's pretty much about it. I don't want to add any further details because it may look a bit more cluttered. So let's move on to our next drawing, which is going to be a window hat. I started by drawing a small bom, bom on the top. And I'm just bringing down two curved lines from it and joining them by a horizontal curvy Bordeaux. And that said, this is our basic shape of the hat. And we're going to build on top of this. I'm going to keep the patterns similar to the sock. So I'm going to add a couple of horizontal lines. Just start there going to be a bit COPD. This time. To follow the curvature or the circumference of the hat. I'm going to add some zigzag lines again. When you're directly drawing with the pen, makes sure to press your pen evenly and formally. Because usually when you're working with Ben, you're not going to have a second chance. As opposed to drawing with a pencil where you can document, enlighten your marks, markings, or the way you're drawing. You have control over the darkness or lightness. But in case of a pen, you have to make sure that you press your Ben evenly and be confident about the lines that you are going to draw. Okay, so I filled up the Bordeaux with some straight lines. And now I'm against switching to the brush pen. So I will start by filling up the area around the bom. Bom. If you don't have a brush pen, you can use the thickest pen in your collection. I'm also filling up a couple of borders. Now I'm switching to enhancing the designed by adding some polka dot, adding some vertical lines. Between two borders. So it's really up to you how you want to fill up the design. The way I'm drawing this is completely impromptu, like I said earlier. So feel free to make modifications and meet your own designs. So this is our hat. Let's move on to the next doo doo. I'm using a point to Ben. And now I'm going to draw a mitten or a glove. So I just drew a basic shape of glove or a mitten. And then I'm adding a border around the wrist area. Filling that up with a vertical line pattern, starting out by two horizontal lines. And then the line of polka dots. You can start filling up the borders as you go. And then some zigzag back down. Similar to the salt and the hat. If you want, you can make an assorted collection. A few more borders or 9s. And some repeats exact pattern. That's about it. And I'm switching to a ticker Ben, to fill up some white portions. This is a size one b_n, which has got a slightly soft dirt dip from bed to the other ones. So it's very easy to fill up PICC lines or take areas using the spin. I switched to a smaller band again to fill up a smaller area. And that said, so you can draw the other mitten and complete the set. But I'm going to move on to drawing a Windows Duetto.
4. Winter Doodles - Sweater: In this section of the class, we are going to do a Windows psuedo, which is going to have a detailed pattern on it. And now this time I'm not very confident about drawing a sweater directly with the bends. So I'm going to take care of a pencil first, make a basic shape of the sweater, and then switch to the bends. So it's completely okay to use Spencer at points where you're not very confident about getting the sketch right in the wafers goal. So I'm not going to shy away from using a pencil and an eraser. So that is my basic shape of a sweater that I want to work on. I'm just darkening it a bit. Okay. And now let's start filling up the sweater with some design and pattern. I'm going to first complete the outer border of the sweat dough and then start filling it up gradually. I think if you have Benson sketch underneath, it really takes away the pressure of or the anxiety of, you know, getting it wrong or messing it up by directly drawing with a pen. So that makes me feel good about the sketch that I got, the basic shape right there. And I'm starting my filling up the borders first with some vertical lines. And now working on the neck with a similar pattern. Ok, so now let's start building the main area of the sweater. We are going to keep the design style similar to the Salk had and the mitten. So let's just start by drawing some borders first. I'm going to keep my lines are curved. Some zigzag lines in between the borders. You can increase or decrease the size of the baton the way you like. There is no particular rule to have the design drawn in a particular way or a particular size. Just go with the flow and use the proportions accordingly. I wonder design on the sweater to look really dense. So I'm going to make sure to fill up the areas every now and then. So as I go forward, I will get a hang of how the sweater is coming out to be. And that really helped me decide what to draw next. Now let's proceed. To draw the next section of the design. I'm going to draw a few borders again, trying to keep my hand steady. And if you observe, I'm taking small pauses to decide what I want to draw next. So try to think ahead of the design you want to put down onto the paper. And once you get a hang of making doodles, things will start flowing naturally. So I just filled up this Bordeaux with some equally spaced diamonds. And then I fill them up with black ink. And now adding some dots to fill up the white gaps between the diamonds. Alright? And then repeating the word taken ln button again. Between the borders. We still have the bottom half of the sweater to cover. So in a similar fashion, like how we did or LEO, I'm going to continue to draw borders and then finished up with different design elements. So this time, I'm trying to draw snowflakes that are not very complicated. Adding a double Bordeaux, filling it up with what they could lines. I'm also keeping the spacing in mind. If you see the dark portion near them, make the design there is quite dense and close to each other. So as I'm coming down. I'm trying to space out the design a little bit to have that balance. Drawing some round shapes on the sleeves. I'm working on both the sleeves at the same time, adding a zigzag pattern on both the sides. Now if you observe the sleeves are not of the exact same width, but I'm not going to stress myself about it. I'm completely OK with this sweater doodle not looking so perfect because it's not a realistic illustration. It's something that we are drawing out of our imagination. So I like the fact that it's perfectly imperfect. But I'm still going to keep the symmetry on both the sleeves and continue adding the same pattern on both the sleeves. And let's see how it comes out. I'm going to fill up the white version in between on both the sides. Now in the bottom section of the psuedo, I'm thinking of some Christmas trees. Nothing complicated. I'm just adding two triangles. Philip the trees with some lines, slanting lines. And that's about it. That's the bottom of the psuedo. Now let's see what we can draw in the center portion. I cited by drawing some circles between the two borders and then filling them up. Okay, so we have this one small batch in the center that we got to Philip. And I'm thinking of drawing o maybe some diamond sheeps. I'm just going to repeat that pattern under DOB and fill up the diamonds, keeping them equidistant. I'm going to add some dots in the white gaps. And I think it looks complete now. Just working on thickening the borders. I think I'm done adding all the details. So I'm going to quickly Benson lines that we had. There you have it.
5. Winter Doodles - Snowflake,Tree, Mug: And let's move on to our next student. Now. I'm trying to draw a snowflake. I started by drawing a plus sign and then do diagonal lines in between the right angles. I used a scale because I wanted the snowflake to look neat and I'm not very good with straight lines. Ok, that is the basic reason why I used a scale. But if you're good with straight lines, just keep the scalar wave and trust your steady hand to draw about for the first two being perpendicular to each other. And then the next two lines cutting at 45 degree angle between the perpendicular lines. And then near the center, I drew. And then at the tip of each of the lines, I'm going to draw two Chevron symbols, or just reshaped marks. It's nothing complicated or nothing fancy, but I'm just trying to symmetrically draw this snowflake. Okay, and then I'm going to place a dot between each of the lines. Adding some more dots. On the outer side. Just trying to fill up the white gaps. I'm highlighting the center portion of the snowflake. If you think you need to add a few more details to make it look complete, go ahead and do that. I'm just taking a final look at the snowflake. Oops, I realized I missed out or dot in that section, so I just quickly added that. And now it's time to erase the pencil lines. And that's about it. Okay, let's move ahead and try to draw the next window element, which is Christmas tree. Now, I want this Christmas tree to have benchmarks. In the shape of teardrops. So I just built this border of a Christmas tree. And inside that, I am trying to fit as many tear drop shapes as possible, arranged in horizontal lines. So I'm just sketching it out to get a feel of how it would look. And I don't want to risk it directly drawing with a pen. So I Brendan for a pencil sketch. But if you're confident about your shapes and neuroscience saying, please feel free to use append. So that's the basic idea that I have in my mind. And maybe I'll draw a star on the top. So I think I'm quite okay with how this would look after inking it. So let's go ahead and try to draw it with a pen. So I'm going to first draw all the tear drop shapes and fill them up. It may take some time, but I think it's going to look quite nice once it's done. If you have any other pattern in your mind, go ahead and do that. This is just one of the ways that I thought of doing this Christmas tree Doodle. But it's totally up to you. There are so many ideas and patterns of doodling that if I just decide to sit down and draw Christmas trees, I should be able to draw at least five to ten of them, but with so many different patterns and lines and geometric shapes. So feel free to be creative here. That's the purpose of this class, is to be able to use your ideas and put them down on people and be able to draw anything that you want. So I want you to utilize this time while you're taking this class to really draw things that inspire you. Not just 15 students that we are covering in this class. But I want you to make use of this class to practice drawing or practice something which otherwise, we don't really find the time to sit down and do. Let's do this dot on the top. I'm going to fill it up. Black. Let's get rid of the benzene lanes. I think that's my favorite part. The doodles instantly start to look clean and neat. And it just looks so good. And that's it. That's our Christmas tree. Let's move on to the next to do. I am going to draw a mug or a hot cocoa mug with some whipped cream on the DOP or a GAAP. So I'm just drawing a thin border on the top and drawing two lines perpendicular to it. And joining them at the bottom to form the base of the GOP. And at first I'm going to draw a candy stick on the top. I think I should do okay with directly drawing it with a bend. So this time I'm not using a pencil because I am okay with drawing the shapes involved in this do-do. Let's just add a handle to our cup. And then behind the candy stick, I'm just going to add some whipped cream. So I just drew this frog, the drawing, trying to draw some texture on it. Nothing complicated, nothing fancy. I'm going slow. And taking pauses to think about what I want to do next. Okay, this looks good enough. Adding some texture on the cup. Alright. Maybe I want to add something in the center. I'm just thinking. Maybe a little snowflake in the center of the cup. Similar to the one we drew earlier. But not adding too many details. May be some polka dots and the remaining white space to make it look complete. I think that's about it.
6. Winter Doodles - Bauble: Let's try to sketch the next drawing. I want to draw a Christmas ornament. So I'm just trying to sketch a circle. Hook to hang the ornament. Just a basic. So good, not being made perfect about it. Now, I'm not sure if I would be able to draw a circle directly with append. So this time I'm going to start my sketch with a pencil just to be sure of the circle that I want to draw. And this is the basic sketch that I'm gonna go ahead and fill up the ornament with some design. So for all of these window or Christmas students, I'm trained to use intricate patterns or designs. So it looks more ordinate and declarative. But if you look at the rest of the doodles in the class, there is not much detailing to them. So I think every section has certain types of students and they are quite unique compared to each other. So I would suggest that tried to doodle at least a couple of things in from each of the sections to get the hang of the different types of doodles that you can draw. So I'm just trying to ink the ornament who with a size one bin. I'm starting out by drawing the outer border first and then Philip design inside it. I'm not sure if I should be calling this a Christmas ornament, but it's more like a Christmas bubble. Yeah, that's the right word that I should be using for this doodle. So I'm starting out from the top and work my way down. I switched to a small size pen to draw all the details. Let's start by drawing some borders and fill them up with buttons, just like how we did for the sweater that had And though. So OK, so I'm going to keep the style similar to the earlier students. And then just drawing these shapes like teardrops. I'm absolutely not thinking too much about what to draw. But the only idea that I have in my head is to draw festive batons or something that would look decorator, like I said earlier. So I'm just trusting the ideas that are coming into my head without battling them too much. So those are the first two sections. Let's see what we can add next. A couple of more borders. If you don't want to draw this border style button, you can also randomly please. Little designs all over the surface. May be offloaded baton or a geometric pattern, whichever you like. So it's not necessary to draw in this border style way. But I want all my students to look as if they belong to a collection. So I'm sticking to this style. I'm just going to quickly fill up the dots and the inner triangles. Talking about collection, I feel that if you want to make a clip art or, you know, vectorize TO illustrations that you want to sell on any online platform. It's very important to consider the idea of a collection. All your students will belong to a particular team or style. So do consider that if you want to make use of doodles for selling purposes. Now, I think you've got the hang of how I'm going to finish this Christmas Bob. And so I'm going to slightly fast forward the process and let you watch me make the baton. And we will meet on the other side after the student has finished. That's our Christmas Bob. Let's move on to the next student.
7. Winter Doodles - Wreath, Present: So let's move on to our next student. So I'm just taking help of this candle holder or delay told her that I haven't just tracing a circle. And I am going to draw consisting of some holly leaves and berries, some mistletoe leaves, and a pine tree branch. I'm going to keep it very simple. And I've drawn a small circles, so it's not very overwhelming to draw. So let's start on the top left coordinate by drawing some berries and holly leaves. The shape is quite straight forward and simple. So you can directly draw it with a pen. Like so. And because it's a read, I'm going to be moving my sketch book a lot just to make sure that that find the correct dangled to draw every element of the read. And now I'm drawing an interpretation of mistletoe. Just drawing tear drop shapes and making it look like a branch. And as I build up the Design, I'm also adding some details. Let's draw a pine tree branch. I'm drawing some strokes coming from inside to outside. You can use a size 0.3 or 0.4, which would give you pointed strokes. Let's repeat the berries and leaves on the other side of the read. I'm going to draw about three to four flips around the berries and then repeat the elements again. Now I'm drawing a mistletoe branch, like so. And then finishing the top portion with a pine tree branch. So I'm just going to add small gaps. I'm going to add three to four such branches. Okay, so that's pretty much how I read is going to look like. Now, I will go ahead and add the remaining details. I will slightly fast forward the process, but it won't be too fast for you to not be able to follow. So don't worry about that. You can still draw with me and continue making all the details. That's our black and white. Let's move on to the last student of this section. So for the last one, I am going to do the present, wrapped with a bow. So I'm drawing this rectangle which has around edges and just drawing a ribbon around it. And making a ball on the top and curving the ribbons out like so. And then I'm going to go ahead and simply decorate this present or the wrapping paper. You can draw stars or any geometry baton, some Christmas trees or anything else that you can think of. But I'm just going to go for simple polka dots and some detailing on the ribbon. Okay, so that's pretty much it. Present doodle. I'm just adding some lines on the ribbon. And we are going to call it complete right after that. And these are our ten doodles for the Windows team. Let's have a look at everything now. I think they're looking quite cute. And in the next section we will draw about den doodles start are really due to spring. So I will see you in the next section.
8. Spring Doodles - 7 Floral Elements: In this section of the class, we will try to draw some spring. So obviously we are going to sketch some flowers and leaves. But other than the floral elements, we will also try to include a couple of spring elements that are not flowers. So let's see how we can sketch them. Again. We will just try to go with the flow and not tried, tried to me is really perfect doodles. But the idea here again is to get your ideas down on people and focus on the creative process rather than sketching something perfect. And at any point, if you feel that you are not able to sketch something directly with the pen, feel free to switch to a Penzu first. So let's begin our first floral doodle. I'm going to use my earlier floral Doodle as a reference here. And we will pick some of the elements from this reference and try to do them. So I'm trying to draw a dandy line here. I'm not going to be very specific about what kind of flour we are going to draw. But we will try to include some floral. But IT, and depending on that, you can build a collection of Florida doodles. Like if you see this reference student over your, I have repeated the same flowers in different ways. Some of them are front-facing, Some of them are side facing. So try and make use of various perspectives and angles when you're trying to do something. So this is a very basic shape of a dandelion wildflower. And that's how I would interpret it when I'm trying to draw. So that's very simple and it hardly took a minute or so. Now let's move on to the next one. This is an interpretation of a nominee that I'm trying to draw with a very bold center and called petals on the side of very basic simple floral shape. Adding some details near the centre. Some statements. If you want your knee, decorator flowers. I have a class called decorative potted plants using ink and water color. In that class, I have showcased how you can draw decorator, floral and leafy elements. And how you can enhance your simple flowers into something more complex and decorative. So do check that class. I have shown a comparison of simple and advanced styles to draw Florence. So this one is loosely based on that concept. So I drew a front-facing anemone and then a side facing one with curvy stems. And now I'm just adding some leaves to make it look for low and nice. I think the best part about doodling flowers is that there is no symmetry involved. So you can let your hand flow and it looks absolutely natural and organic. Let's move on to the next one. Here I am trying to interpret a ball B. So I'm just going to draw some side facing Barbies and some, but I'm just going to show three petals on the side. And then draw a couple of buckets, a simple oval shape. So you can practice these doodles individually or draw them as a composition to make one big piece. It all depends on you. Hiding some strokes to make the flowers look detailed. And that's about it. Let's move on to the next one. Now, I'm trying to draw a very simple law vendors stem. I just drew a stem and then I'm adding these small nodes in clusters around the stem. Let's draw one more. If you see these doodles are very effective in a way that they're quite fast to draw. And you can fill up your space quite nicely and easily. So imagine using these doodles to make some floral greeting cards or gift bags or illustrations which you can digitize and convert into a pattern. So the possibilities are endless. And once you have your doodle library, it's going to make it fairly easy to scan, digitize, and just play around with your existing work in the library. So in the beginning it's going to be a lot of hard work to build your library. But as you move on, you will soon realize that. Making a connection beforehand will give you a lot of opportunities to plan your digital designs. Here. And I'm trying to draw a neared flaw. Well, I'm not very sure about what flowered I'm trying to draw. It's just something that I had in my mind and I just put it down on people with no previous taught. I'm just taking the step to give it some dimension. Then I would go ahead and add some leaves, a couple of leaves on both the sides. Okay, so now let's move on to the next one, which is going to be a very simple leafy stem. And I'm going to draw some tear drop shapes on both the sides of the stamp. A very simple Doodle. But if you go to digitize this, you can increase or decrease the size. Transform it by rotating it in various angles. So one simple stem can also allow you to make an entire baton. And if you want, you can add some color when you're digitizing it. Now let's draw the last floral element of the spring doodle team. And I'm trying to draw a daffodil flower, a side facing daffodil flour. I just have this basic shape of Adafruit and flower in my head. And I'm trying to put down on people. Most of the dimes. You won't need any reference images when you're doodling because we are just trying to draw something out of our imagination. So it's all about how you perceive something. So there's absolutely no need to refer to images. And I think that makes the process really fast. Adding some strokes and details. And these are flawed.
9. Spring Doodles - Birdhouse: In this section we will draw the next spring element. And I thought of drawing something unique but straightforward and simple. We will be doing a bird house. Now, I thought of dueling aboard house a because I have something similar in the backyard of my home. So I heard a reference picture in my head of how a bird house looks like. And also because the shape is somewhat quite similar to drawing a house, all of us have grown up drawing houses during our childhood. So the shape itself is very simple. So I'm just going to draw a simple shape of the house and then attach a stand underneath that house and just converted into a bird house. And I'm using pencil for my sketch because there were a lot of lines involved and I was not very confident of getting it right in the wafers, go with the pen. So this time I switched to sketching basic outlines with a pencil. So that's the structure of the bird house that I'm going to build upon. And we will add some texture when we are working with the pen. I think it could be a bit bigger, so I'm just extending some lines from the roof portion. So before in Kenya doodle, try to finalize your pencil lines. And now it's going to be fairly simple to simply in good. So I'm going to trace Hall my pencil lines and make some modifications on the goal if required. So I'm using a size 0.5 pin and I'm tracing, and I'm tracing the lines of the bird house so quickly. Finish this and see you on the other side. I'm switching to a small size spin, 0.02 or 0.01. And I'm going to add some extra and try to convey through this texture that the board house is made of wood. So I'm just going to draw very thin lines that would represent so would show. So let's try to add some D dance. Okay. Okay, so that's our boat house after adding all the details. So now we're going to add some foliage around the board house. So I'm going to quickly draw some weeds and flowers around it and just make it look pretty and needed. Although they didn't set, we are drawing are simple and quick. So let's add some already endowments and see how the find in Boathouse looks like. And that's it. That's how word boat house looks like after adding onto the dance band.
10. Spring Doodles - Birds, Watering Can: And now let's proceed to our next set of Doodles. Because we drew a bird house. I'm thinking that we should also add a couple of boards around it. So I'm going to add two birds, one with its wings on the side and the second one with its wings spread out. Again. Now while drawing these boards are not going to draw them realistically, but draw this very basic. The illustration of huge boards. I'm just drawing the side body, the wings and some feathers at the back. And I'm keeping the legs off the board a bit long. So it looks like acute illustration. I don't want this boat Doodle to look way Ceres and realistic. So I'm just using my imagination and making this board up in my head. And now I'm going to go ahead and work on the feathers at the back. Just making them a bit more for law. Just thinking if I need to add any more details. Now, I don't have this board landed on my head, so I'm using a pencil to quickly sketch it. So let's go ahead and sketch the next one as well before we start linking the two boards. So that's going to be the body of the board. Let's see how the sketch comes out. I'm not sure how the board is gonna look like, but we should be able to make something work here. So those are going to be the spread out wings, something like that. And maybe let's draw the legs. Not sure how I won the lakes to look like to maybe a folded leg, some feathers at the back. I'm intentionally trying to sketch this on the goal to show you the actual process of how a sketch or a doodle comes to life. I haven't practiced this before. And that's the best part that you're getting to see you draw as I'm building this board. And the way it looks right now and the way it will look after we incurred. So don't lose your confidence if your pencil sketch looks a bit shabby or funny in the beginning. But as you add details, things will fall into place. Okay, I feed the head of the bird was a bit small. So I'm just trying to get the proportions right. Still not very confident about the feathers of the bag. So I'm darkening weapons in lines just to be confident of how I wanted to look. That's the beak. Okay, I think those pencil lines are enough for our Doodle to look decent enough. So let's try working with the DOE bodes. Look in the end. I'm going to slightly fast forward the process. Because the main thing here was the Benson work which you already seen and now it's just a tracing. Okay, so now we have the basic line work in place with the help of a small open, a small size pen. I'm going to add some detailing on the feathers and the body of the bird's just to make sure there are not very wide gaps with no details. So just adding some extra lines to make it look more detailed. Just like how we did for the earlier doo-doo. Those are all things that I wanted to add. And this is how Bourdieu dunes look like. Let's take a closer look. Simple and easy. Let's move on to the next doodle. Now, I'm thinking off including some garden element into the spring team. So I thought of drawing one of my favorite elements, gardening elements, which is a watering can. So I'm sketching out of a simple watering can with the help of four Benson and the Stein that are slightly more details in the way the watering can looks. I intentionally included a doodle that would need some kind of symmetry while drawing. So that's the body of the watering can with a round base. And that's the Spout or the hand with o spree on the top. I don't know what exactly you call it, but that's where the water comes out from and are handled at the back. Okay, so that's a very easy and quick sketch. We can definitely call this a doodle and not a detailed illustration. And now I'm going to simply include and add some details in the end. Okay, so now that we have the basic line working, please, let's add some texture on the surface of the watering can. I'm using a 0.01. Psy's been draw some thin strokes. Now, there are a lot of fees to draw. X chose Han your illustrations or do ruins, but I'm making use of simple strokes to give it some dimension. That's our watering can that we covered in this section. Seven types of floral elements aboard house. A couple of boards and a simple watering can. Now, let's move on to the next section, which is all about summer doodles.
11. Summer Doodles - Monstera Leaf, Ice Cream: In this section we are going to draw then someone who does. And the first one is a monster. I leave. Now to sketch the monster, not leave in the easiest way possible. Start by drawing a heart, which has a small dip near the dog. Something like this. And once you have this heart shape and police start drawing the edges of the leaf. So drains a small portion along the sketch of the heart. And then pick a little dip to take the carbon side and then come out again to trace on the heart. And then pick a small dip inside again. Repeat the exact same method on the other side. It's not necessary to have both the sides of the monster leave to be equal or symmetric. So just go with the flow and roughly sketch out this leaf with a small point towards the bottom. And that's pretty much how I usually sketch a monster leaf. You can draw the center line or the center when some things on both the sides. Okay, so now that the sketches in place, I'm going to trace out the leaf when I'm using a 0.5 psi spanning trees out, sketch starts to come together. We've been decided about the dataset V1. And now that the basic details are in place, we will go ahead and add that although elements of the monster I leave, and one of the most important ones are the holes that these leaves have. They're usually oval in shape. And some leaves have a lot of holes on them and some have very few. There are not equidistant. So you can randomly draw the holes as you like. A couple of them near the outer edge and a fuel near the central when like so. And now I'm switching to a small size spin and drawing some line texture or lower, they leave, right? And then using a Taco Bell, I am enhancing the leaf by adding some shadows on the edges. Something like this. And that's it. That's our monster leaf. Simple and easy. Let's move on to the next one. For the next total, I'm thinking of sketching an ice-cream cone, a small size cone, and swirly ice-cream mondo drop. So let's start by drawing the coin first. We're going to sketch the cone. And it's going to be very similar to sketching apart for a plant. So that's going to be the basic shape. And then we will add the details to it. I'm going to add the ice cream on the top. Not too many details, but I'm just fixing the size of the ice cream and the size of the core. Okay, so that's our ice-cream in on top of the colon, giving it a fluffy sheep. Thinking about drawing some texture on it and just planning it a bit. So when I'm inking it, it will be easy with these markings underneath. And now I'm going to add some details to the core. If you want, you can even draw a cone that has a boy at the bottom. That would be fairly easy to sketch as well. But for now, I'm sticking to the sketch. Some texture on the wall. Okay, now those are some good details for us to start drawing it with the pen. So I'm just going to trace all the lines that we just drew. And then I'll erase all the lines that we don't need. So let me slightly fast forward the process. And I haven't see you when we are adding details to the ice cream cone. Okay, so now that's the basic sketch and reused all the pencil lines. And let's add some texture to the ice cream on the top and some details to the corn. So so to add the details I'm using, appoint one. I think that's the thing Mr. happen this set. Or maybe there's one more 0, 0.05. but I think 0.1 is a really good size to add. They indicate details to your students. So use either of those. I think it instantly lifts the way you do the looks. Now let's think of how we can enhance the corner at the bottom. I think they're starting to come together. And then I'm adding some double borders on the waffle cone. Taking my own sweet time to add the minute details. A lot of times I'd take decisions on the goal. I did not think about adding any texture to the cool earlier. But as you start drawing, you come up with ideas on how you can make your sketch burrito. And that's our ice cream cone.
12. Summer Doodles -Popsicle, Swim wear: Let's move on to the next one and I'm going to draw or popsicle stain. So I'm drawing an inverted U shape. And hi Bill also add an isometric perspective to this. Popsicles or something like that. And then I will simply add a stick middle. So that's a basic sketch. And we are ready to get some adjusting the height of the popsicle To be in proportion with the stick underneath. Just near the top. Maybe it's the syrup or chocolate sauce being added under daps. So I'm just going to start tracing it. I'm using a thicker pen. It's 0.7 or one. Both of these bands are quite thick compared to 0.3.5. So the reason why I'm using a thicker band is that this doodle is not having a lot of intricate details. So I wonder popsicle itself to look very bored. And that's the reason I decided to go for the sauce. On the top. I'm simply going to finish up black with black rush bin. And now let's work on the stick backdoor. Keeping it really simple by adding some lanes and Daxue. And that's about it. And now I'm adding some sprinkles on the popsicle. Sprinkles or chocolate chips or whatever you may call it. I think it instantly starts to look cute. I'm intentionally making sure that my doings and not looking very realistic because that's still look like by DOE, the non-realistic one. Some final touches. Let's get rid of the pencil lines. And that's somewhere. Popsicle du, du is going to be a swimming cause Chu, I'm going to draw a cute and adorable bikini. So let's start by drawing the bikini top. So I'm just sketching out the basic shape of the swim where. So this is the Doppler, the blouse that I'm trying to sketch. Just keeping it narrow at the waist with thin straps and a nice neck line. Let's try to sketch something Greece full yet. So that's what I'm trying to attempt till I'm going to draw this freely Bordeaux to the top to show the summary wipes, breezy wipes, something like this. Okay, now I'm going to draw the bottoms. I'm focusing on having a basic reshape blood going to draw anything complicated. We want this to look effortless yet nicely done. So I'm making sure my Benson lines are confident and clear. I'm going to draw some strings on the sides, do give it a feminine look. I'm sure the design will come together when we starting doing it. But this is the basic idea that I had in my mind to draw. A swimming costume. Looks quite okay. And let's start in getting it now. Okay, so our basic sketches ready? Let's see how we can ad, design on the fabric of the swimming costume. I can start by adding some footprints or tech show. And after that, we can decide what design we can draw on it. I think there is some room to add some print design on it, some still thinking about it. And now I've made up my mind to draw some polka dots all over the top and the bottom. Like so. And there you go. That's our swimming costume with a polka dot design on it. I think it's looking quite cute.
13. Summer Doodles - Cactus, Coconut: Let's move on to the next to do. And I am going to draw a Saguaro Cactus. I started from bottom to top. So as I'm going up, I am drawing a cactus arm that comes out. And then bringing it back to continue drawing the main drunk of the Silvano cactus. And then I'm just joining the two sites with a curve on the top. There you go. So that's a very basic sketch, or the way I do do a cactus. And I just drew a line at the bottom to show the ground-level. Okay, so let's draw a little flower head on the top, something like that. And then let's just start drawing ridges on the surface by drawing some broken lines all over the surface of the cactus. Absolutely doable and easy. It's a very simple sketch. And I knew how I wanted the cactus to look like. So I did not use a pencil this time because I was confident about the shape. Okay, so let's go ahead and draw that. On the surface. Are tons, whatever you may call it. And that's going to complete cactus do, do, do, do. Let's proceed to the next one, which is going to be a coconut. A straw and so did in it. So I'm starting by drawing a simple circle. And I'm going to show that the coconut is sliced. So I wanted to show that the coconut is sliced. Okay. Something like that. So it's caught on the top to have access to the coconut water. That's what we want to show. I'm fixing the size of the coconut. I'm intentionally not drawing a perfect circle, but keeping it a little imperfect. Okay. Now let's go ahead and add all the details with the pen. So I'll draw the basic shape of the coconut with the bin. Add some texture on its surface. We can do some stippling or draw some lines to give some dimension to the coconut. You're going to follow the exact same process that we followed for the rest of the doodle so far. Taking it slow, nice and easy. And then I'm going to draw a band straw coming out of the coconut or inserted halfway unit, raise symbol. And then I'm also going to draw a small umbrella on the other side. So did and do the coconut. I'm not going to add too many details to the umbrella. Just a quick sketch. And then I'm drawing an umbrella stick and going into the coconut. Okay, I think the doodle is now taking some shape. I'm going to get rid of the pencil lines and start adding detection. Maybe some stippling along the surface, the outer surface and the sliced white portion. I think it's looking quite nice. And I'm happy with the weed lady shorter sliced portion, but I think there is now coming to sheep.
14. Summer Doodles - Flip flops, Lemons: Now the next tool is fairly simple and straightforward. Going with the summer team, I'm going to do some flip-flops. There is some symmetry involved between the flip-flops. The band has to look the same. And hence I am drawing the doodle with a pencil because I'm not very confident of getting the shape right for both the slippers. So taking help of the pencil, I am just drawing a basic outline for both the flip-flops. And I'm going to try my best to make them look the same, but I'm not going to stress too much over it because it's a simple doodle. And we don't expect perfection, like I have said and all the other sections of the class. So keeping that in mind, let's just quickly make a sketch. And once the basic shape isn't place, I'm going to draw the two straps for both the flip-flops. So I'm thinking of adding a small design at the joint of the straps may be a little flower. So let's choose to drill a small flower and COPD straps attach to it to the base of the slipper or the flip-flop. Like so. Let's repeat the design on the other flip flop. I think I want to add some design at the base of the flip flop. So I'm just going to add some lines. You can decide the design on the fly. Or you may even leave it blank. I'm literally too excited, so I think I'm going to draw some design on the flip-flops. I'm really liking this entire somewhat team and alter doodles are coming together. Now let's just start inking it. And that should be it for the flip flops. And that's it. Those are our flip-flops. Now let's move on to the next tutor. Now, I'm going to do some lemons. So let start. But a slice of lemon, I drew a slanting line and then I am drawing a semi-circle to represent a slice of lemon. And then somewhere near the center, I'm marking a spot and starting to draw these sections or slices that are Lemon has after cutting it. The inner portion of the lemon. So I'm just keeping those dual didn't very rough and effortless suggest to making these sections. And then I'm going to draw maybe a whole lemon behind this slice. So I'm just thinking of the exact position and the shape. So it's going to be overlapping. And behind this slice which is in the front, something like that. And then I'm going to start working on both these lemons and the whole lemon and the slice. So the Tech Show that we have been drawing for all other doodles. Let's choose B with the team and continue adding those details. I'm also thinking If I could add any leaves on the sides, maybe a couple of leaves on both the sides of the lemons to make it look complete with just the lemons. I think it's looking a bit incomplete and slightly awkward, so I decided to add a couple of leaves. So let's see how the student comes along. Okay? So I added about three leaves on the right side and maybe a couple of leaves on the left website as well. Yeah, that looks much better. Okay, so as we move forward, we will add some dividends to the leaves as well. But let's just see how the lemons look. Laughter V0 at some tech show using some dots and dashes. Okay, now let's add some veins to the leaves. This could really make a nice clip art. Adding some seats. Let's do some stippling on the top and add some more veins to the lemon leaps. You can keep the leaves as simple or as complicated as you want. It done depends on you. And that's pretty much how I want this lemon Doodle to look like. But I'm going to use a thicker pen and do some outlining to add some dimension to the lemons. So let's see how it looks. I'm using a number one fan, which is thicker than 0.7.5. And that's it. That's our Doodle for lemons.
15. Summer Doodles - Camper Van, Pineapple: Now for the last and final section of summer doodles, I'm going to attempt to draw a camper, ran these camper bands that are shaped like a cap Sue having a dome on the top. So I'm just trying to sketch something similar here. So I started out by drawing two horizontal lines parallel to each other. And then I drew and imperfect dome on the top, which is slightly bulging on one side and tapering on the other. It's a very simple sketch. So don't stress too much about it. And then I'm going to add some details like the carriage holder on one side and a wheel. Somewhere near the center of the two horizontal lines. I'm going to draw two double borders around the wheel. And that's pretty much the basic sketch of a camper van. And then I'm tweaking and trying out to sketch a perfect shape for the door. But I am going to leave most of the details to last-minute when we are engaging the doodle. And I'm just adding a small door to the camber when something like that. A window on the door or glass window. So I'm just going to leave it to that. And then a big window on the side in the remaining whitespace. I'm also going to add some codons. It's a glass windows so we can see through the camper van. I'm going to add some codons and some lining to show the interiors of the wind, which is seen very vaguely. I'm not going to be very perfect about it. Just a little beak. Do what's going on inside the camp program? Something like a handle to the door. And I guess those are pretty much all the details that I'm going to draw in the Judean. Maybe I'll add a ground surface so the Kanban doesn't look as if it's floating in the air. So I'm quickly going to add ground-level. And that's going to be my sketch on which I'm going to work upon. So let's quickly ink it using a thicker pen this time. I'm going to use a size one, Ben. And just draw over all the lines and trace it out. And the camper van instantly starts to look nice and neat. Hiding some double borders to the wheel. Details to the garden high switched to a thinner pen. To sort out all the details. Let's erase out or light Benson lines and add some texture with small size span such as 0.1 or 0.2. It's a very simple students, so I did not take too much time to draw this. I slightly sped up the process. So you get a clue of what to expect from this doodle and then draw something on your own. And that's pretty much about the scamper ran. Let's take a closer look. Simple and easy. Now, let's move on to our next Doodle. For the next tool, I am going to use a thinner pen, maybe a 0.3 psi spend. And to draw the pineapple, I'm going to start with the crown section of it by drawing some leaves that have sharp points or agents. So I'm just drawing overlapping leaves. Taking my own sweet time. I want the crown of this finite bl to be fuller and dense with leaves. So as I'm going up, slightly broadening up the crown portion and heading some overlapping leaves. Ok, those are enough for now. And then I'm going to draw some leaves at the bottom of the crown from where the fruit is going to start. And I'm marking the border for the pineapple with the band itself because I know those dotted lines will get traced. Has I start working on the details of the pineapple. And then I'm drawing these tear drop shapes which are quite big, but they're overlapping to resemble the scaly structure of a pineapple. So I'm being very imperfect about the way I'm drawing these scales or regions or the rough surface of the pineapple, whatever you may want to call it. Just overlapping it like mountains, just cascading it on top of each other. And that's pretty much the structure of a pineapple. And I'm quite happy with the student the way it turned out in the very first goal without using a pencil. Okay, now let's go back to the leaves and add some details to them. By adding some wins in the center of each of the leaves, we will also add some texture, making them look bends and nice. I'm adding some extra leaves trying to balance the buy an apple from all sides. And then some scaly deck shown because of this leader, pineapple is not smooth from the exterior. So these dots and dashes will reflect the rough Tech Show on the pineapple. I'm going to add some details on the leaves. Ok. So quite a few details but them liking the way it's turning out. Okay. That's taken some of the leaves using a thicker pen. Size 0.7. instantly makes the pineapple look bold. And a nice contrast is added to the leaves. Working on the texture of the pineapple again. And that's about it. That's how our pineapple looks like and I'm super happy with the way it has come out. Let's have a closer look at all the doodles from the summer section. Just to summarize everything that we do under this section, feel free to choose whichever doodles you like and draw them accordingly. Pick your own sweet time to create your doodles. Maybe you can do the tree or day or for today and finish them on. And now I'll see you in the next section.
16. Autumn Doodles - 3 Pumpkins, 3 Leaves: So let's begin with our Autumn do does. In this section, I'm going to do a couple of pumpkins and some leaves. So let's start by drawing the pumpkins. First. I drew an oval shape. They put at the top. And from the sides, I'm going to add layers to the pumpkins, which are seen from the front or something like that. And not too many details, but the sides that are seeing from the back. And then a little branch on the top and some line texture on it. So that's going to be our basic shape. And we will try to work on it using some line detailing. I want these pumpkins to look really simple and fast free. So I'm not going to act do many shadows or Tech Show or hidden edges, nothing of that sort. I just want help clean. Simple pumpkin drawn with easy lines. And then I'm going to draw a little wine for the leafy stem from the top. And that's about it. Let's move on to our next pumpkin shape. Now this pumpkin is going to be a bit short and a bit more spread out. So I'll start with the scent debarred by drawing an oval shape and then adding about two to three layers on each of the sides. Like so. And then I'm going to draw a little branch for the stem of the pumpkin and draw some layers are the back. I'm also going to draw a stem Model wind coming from the job. But before that, let's add some texture. I think we took less than a minute to draw this pumpkin. It's that easy. If you have the ship ready in your mind, it's fairly easy to do anything that you want. I had seen a lot of such pumpkins at my grocery stores, so. It came right to my mind when I thought of doodling some pumpkins. And let's add some lines to the stem. Like so. And now I will add the little branch or the wind coming out from the top. And that's it. Those are our force to Pumpkins. Now let's proceed. Drawing the third one. The third one, I'm going to draw slightly cooler, but for willing shape, it's going to be an elongated, oval shape. Let's start with the branch. And then I'm going to take two goes down and join them together to form the outer edge of the pumpkin. It's quite dawn. And then I'm going to draw the lines or reduce on its surface. And now I'm going to add a couple of leaves. Leaves, just one or two overlapping with the pumpkin. Like so. Okay. And then I'm going to draw some stems or lines coming from the darpa and the sites. I think we can add some more details, but not so many years to make it look over Venmo. When still keep the simple look of it. Let's see if we need to add any more things to it. Some texture on the top branch. And that's about it. So those are our three pumpkins. I think they've come out quite well. Let's move on to the next set of quantum dubious. And this time I'm going to draw three leaves. Let's start with a very simple and most common Autumn Leaf, which is an oak leaf. We will draw two varieties of the oak leaf and one made belief. So the oak leaf is kind of curvy and it has these rounded ridges that depends side and come out. So it's very easy to draw directly with the bin. We are not going to use pencil to draw any of these leaky shapes. And then I'm just drawing some wanes. And that's about it. I don't want to add further details, but I'm just going to keep the leafy doodles very simple. So that's our forest oak leaf. Let's move on to drawing the next one, which is going to be a maple leaf. Now the maple leaf has three heads or three sections which are slightly separated from each other. So I'm trying to draw those and bring them together at the bottom of the leaf and join it and extended to form a stem like so. So this is the simplest way in which I would do to a maple leaf without any prior sketching. Let's add some waves to it. I'm using a small size bend. So it will allow me to draw some thin lines. And that's it. Ok. And now we will move on to drawing our third leaf, which is the sixth autumn doodle. Now, I'm going to try to draw an oak leaf which has a lot of crooked edges. But I'm not going to use, and since I'm simply going to start drawing it, and we will see how it comes along. I'm going to start by drawing the center line for the center when. And then simply start from the bottom to the top, I'm going to draw an inverter leaf. So what you're looking at right now is the bottom part of the leaf. And then I will start making these crooked, uncapped edges of the leaf. I'm trying to keep it as organic as I can. And taking these pauses in between to think of how I wanted the shape of the leaf to be. So that's one side. Now, let's try to do to the other side of the leaf slowly and carefully. Okay. Some more crooked edges. And let's join it back at the bottom. So there you have it. This is our toward leaf. Now let's add some details inside the leaf. Cook up enough means I'm adding some small low beans Now. Just a little more refined. So the DOJ looks complete. Them using a 0.01 thing took me, although details adding suddenly free Tech Show. And that's it, that's our toward leaf. So we have three autumn leaves and three types of pumpkins. And we will move on to drawing some more students in the next section.
17. Autumn Doodles - Acorn, Corn, Pumpkin Tea : Now let's go ahead and draw our next student. So I'm thinking of drawing an econ, not the nitrified O D. So it is a very simple due, due to draw. It has this hat or a hood like shape on the top. And at the bottom is o, slightly rounded nut, which has a small point at the bottom. So I'm just trying to get that shape right with the pencil forest. Something like this. Okay. I think we are quite close to the shape that I was looking for. So let's try to trace it with a pin, slightly extending the cap portion to show all visible branch. And then I'm simply tracing out the shape of a cone. Now the top portion of the acorn is X-chart. It has this scaling rough surface. So I'm just going to draw some overlapping curvy lines. Like so. Fast forwarding it a bit because it's a very simple line work which you can draw without referring to. And I'm just adding a small black detailed line below the whole area to show the shadow part. And then giving some finishing touches by adding the lines on the surface. Like so. So that's our econ students, which we were able to finish under three minutes. Now I'm just erasing the pencil lines. And we will take a quick look to see if we need to add any further details. Even minor band lines can make a lot of difference in your doodle. So always try to take that one final look before you call it complete. Okay, so that's our econ students. The next student that I'm trying to draw here is a corn. Don't worry, even if the pencil lines are not visible right now, I'm going to darken the sketch once I have the shape in my. So I'm just trying to draw the husks. Of the corn, the leaves that are surrounding the main body of the cone, those corn husks. So I'm just trying to draw those with a small stem at the bottom. And now I will draw the center portion, just doc with my pencil lines so you'll be able to see it. Something like that. So we are trying to draw it as if it's half field. The husks are drawn from the side is what we are trying to fall. Okay? Now that we have the basic shape in place, let's trace it out. I will start by drawing the husks. And once we finish these side husks, We will start doodling the center portion of the cone, which are the concordance. And to draw the corn coordinates, I'm simply going to draw these small circles or ovals. So I'm going to fast forward this process a bit. It's fairly simple. If you see a corn closely, you will see that these coordinates are arranged in a beautiful linear manner with a perfect symmetry. So I'm trying to bring about that arrangement. And then the coordinates on the top are very small. So I'm trying to show that gradation and drawing rules of Cornell's like so. And continue doing that till you fill up your entire corn. I love how it's looking and it's quite interesting to look at actually. And then I'm drawing some lines on the husks. Some last minute details. Let's clean the corn by erasing all the pencil lines. And let's have a look at it. And that's it. Moving on for this tool, I'm thinking of drawing a pumpkin spice up. So I'm just drawing the lid on the top and the book up underneath with a very basic. So that's still orderly but the Chinese on the top. And let's go ahead and get. So going to engaged from top to bottom. Just tracing out all the lines. Very simple doodle, absolutely no effort, but looks effective. I think the main secret to drawing doodles after all of these doodles that we saw is that if you know what, you want to do it all in your head, it is very, very simple to convert it into lines and put it down on people. So try to do this as often as you can see the difference in your line work. And let's add some lettering on it. I'm just randomly writing anything that came to my mind first. So I'm just going to write pumpkin spice tea. Or you can make it look branded by drawing a little symbol of a coffee shop or the like. And that's some shading on the cup. Letting these extra lines just make stuff do look a bit more mature in my belief. And that's about it. That's pretty much what I wanted to draw. Has a pumpkin spice, tea.
18. Autumn Doodles - Scarecrow: Okay, so in the last section of the autumn, doodles, We are going to draw a scarecrow. Now. Please start mind them utilizing this small space ahead at the bottom of my page. So I just rotated my sketchbook to fit the student there. So let's start by drawing a scarecrow with a hat and a phase. And some grass hay here made up of dried grass. Let's draw his arms, neck, and legs. So we want to show the scare crow as if it's hunger, no boast, or a ball. And if you ask me what reference I'm using to draw the scare crow. I have this distinct memory of a scare crew that I saw on my visit to a sunflower and apple farm in the 1.2.4 October. So I remember distinctly that they had this very adorable scare crow put up there on the farm. So I don't have any picture of it, but I'm just trying to remember how it was and just sketching this doodle in my head. So whatever things I cannot recall am just adding my own twist to it. For example, I don't remember how his hands and feet tall. So I'm simply drawing some dried grass to represent his arms and legs. And then in between I'm going to draw a border on which the scan crew is hung. I'm trying to make it look like Goodall and not like a real human. So that's the hint I am trying to use her. So the system basic sketch. Now let's add some details to his clothes and to his face. I remember that scared crew had some clock batches honors out for it. And if I were to convert this to do, I would be into his face orange like a pumpkin. As if it's golf doubt and I would be integers floats or may be a dusty mustard condo and green or blue. So colored illustrations or doodles also look very nice. So do consider to try that out. But in this class we will stick to our black and white doodles. So that's pretty much about the scarecrow. Those are all the details that I wanted to add. And I think we are ready to paying a lot of details when we start working with the bin. So I am going to slightly fast forward this process of tracing because I'm simply documenting all depends and lights underneath. Okay, so that's the basic line work that we just finished. And now using a small size spin, I will add some shading or gradation on his clothes to show that his clothes have worn out. So I will continue doing that. There is no specific right or wrong way to do it. But keep working on your do-do. Did you feel good about it? And once the scare crow isn't place, I'm going to go ahead and work on the pole and the grass around it. So I'm just going to add some reads and wild flowers near the pole. Re, quick and easy pen strokes and not adding too many details. A nice crumb level. And now let's add some woody Tech Show to the poll. I'm getting rid of all the pencil lines to see if there are any other changes that we have to make. And I think it looks complete now, I'm quite happy with the way test. Don't doubt her sweat skeptical. But I like it.
19. Assorted Doodles: So in this final section of students, I decided to time myself for roughly about 30 minutes. And I decided to do the things that I could think of. And that is how I do these last ten assorted things or do lives. So the very first one that came to my mind was an avocado. So I started sketching it out without the use of a pencil. So all the doodles in this last assorted section, I have tried to bend them down without the use of an eraser. So I went ahead and drew two perspectives of an avocado. The front facing and side facing. Very simple sketch. The next one I thought of drawing was a pretty lamb shape. Now there was a lampshades sitting right next to me besides the bed. So I just changed the design in the pattern a little bit. And I made a doodle of my own. So I took inspiration, which was something right next to me. And I thought of incorporating it in my own style. So this was my second Doodle that I could think of. Now, I'm not putting a lot of part into the way I'm doodling it. So as you can see in this lamp shade, I simply drew flowers and leaves all lower. Although you could just build up any pattern, geometric shapes, lines, circles, or any other abstract design. So it all depends on how you want your students to look like. If you want to challenge yourself, give yourself a timed duration and tried to do as many things as you can in that duration. And that is how you will build confidence and build some muscle memory and start to get some really good 09 work onto Paypal. So then I decided to doodle some books, which was simply lying around on the table in front of me. So there were a couple of books that were simply kept them. I also have a shelf on which the books as stack. So I decided to give that a go and SMP doodle, two perspectives of books. The first one is a book that is kept on a flat surface, and the second one was a stack of books that were placed very closely next to each other. I also had this bookmark inside my book, so I decided to do it in that too. And then I went ahead and do some abstract lines to represent the book cover. If you see my doodles are not very perfect and they're not really in propulsion or straight lines, but that's completely okay because the challenge here is to be able to draw and visualize things. It's more about having a visual vocabulary or visual memory of trying to interpret something down onto paper orbiting that you've simply scene or a thing that you remember from the past. So doodling is all about that experience and being able to draw things the way you imagined them. Adding some details on all the books. So imagine these books being stacked next to each other, standing on a bookshelf. So that's the idea that I'm trying to convey here. And I'm doing these really simple and easy lines just because I had to choose, then do this does not mean that I had to challenge myself by trying to draw something very difficult or something that I have not drawn before. But again, the idea here is to draw simple things and be confident about them. Now the next student that I'm trying to draw is a layered rows. I know that clear choices have a lot of patterns that are very close to each other. And it is a tight cluster of pedals. So with that idea in my head, I'm just trying to put down this big grows and I'm just drawing layers around the outer surface. I'm just trying to draw as many layers as I could and building up this beautiful draws. And then once I have all the layers in place, I'm going to draw some lines and some dotted textual and stippling little bit. And that's how I want to enhance this rose. I'm also constantly switching between various pins from ranging from size 0.03 to 0.07. And that times are also used my thickest bend, which is size one. So with the help of all these bands I'm trying to my daughter's oh, with different line. Adding some things and listen, don't. And that's about it, that's our rows. And then the next thing I thought of doodling was a simple house. Now when I was trying to do this, I will sitting at my desk and through the window I could see a house right across the street. So I decided to dissect this house into simpler sections. And I made this off my own. And I just built a small little house by looking at this reference, which was right across my window. So I built a house that had some windows, are nice roof and a stone wall. So using this as my guide, I just did in this house and made something of my own. There is always a possibility that if you sketch first by using a pencil, just like how we did in the previous section. Who doodles are going to look a lot more Nieto and clean. But there are times when you have to challenge yourself by directly drawing something with a pen. And that is the best way to improve in doodling. Okay, so I drew some bushes around the house and also showed the street outside the home. And then using a thicker pen, I added some shadows and some details, but not too many as to overwhelm, I'm still keeping my doodling style very simple and easy. In the next and final section of this class we are going to do during the last five pings that game to membrane. So let's hop on and see what they are.
