More positive dimensions, as you may have already seen. This course is a little bit short to the mind of the ones in the mother to decide. It's probably easier for you to get through my my course if I do the series of shortest courses where I spoke someone topic each time. So in this cost will be learning emotions, words, rebels, the grammar points he can express. I'm happy Israel's You're happy. He's happy and so full without further ado, let's get into it.
2. 5 Positive Emotions & Subject Pronouns: cool. Welcome to the first lesson in this lesson. We're building five new items of vocabulary that relate to positive functions. These will be happy, happy, excited, proud, confident and surprised as well as this, We're gonna be letting have form but full of sentence. So you'd be letting you have to say I way on you. So let's get into it, Okay? Festival. We're gonna be learning about pronouns in gritty sign language. They don't have a word for it to be So I am is just I And then you are. It's just you followed by an emotion Were So you happened in British sign language or I happy or I excited we excited and so forth. So design centers, I I'm happy We were just pro now followed by the emotion would So let's go through the programs. So to say I am you point you get your dominant hand your index finger it like this Appointees off I Hi. Then to say we you get your index finger up again. But instead of going to the middle of your chest, you go to the side of your dominant hand chest and in sort of a semi circle. You do start to do that. Sort of like a road taking system. We we we're all connected. Me, we do it from the side point. We brilliant. Another important baby information Understanding bridges silent because they have two words for you. They have you If you're talking toe one person I'm they also have a would figure if you're speaking to more than one person, a group of people. So to say you in the singular When you just talked to one person, you just point you it was pretty silent, Which is a very contextual language is a three d language. So when you're talking to someone you saying you everyone's going after you look for you talking about what you gonna point to the u you. However, if you want to speak to him, if you talk about doing in more general sense, like you or all you, you do sort of a flick of the single like you start to start horizontally. I think so. You you It's up to the quarter of a circle you do from the sign you right now we want knows . Let's put them into Let's learn the emission with the joint anthem to make full sentence, so we'll start with happier to sign. Happy Enbridge. Silent. You do this, you get your less dominant hand up like this. Sort of like a Paul. Then with your most of Hank, you get your your wrist area here, talk to the bottom of your part. Sort of just great Jones on T arrest and where the risk is on this one is where you start tapping like that. Happy, happy, I happy, Brilliant. Let's do it together. Happy, Happy. There are a few different ways of doing Happy emerges silent, but this is the most common eyes I happen. Oh, the people to do this happy. So sides long but happy topic twice. That's the one island, so I think it's the most. I think it's the one that's most dramatically correct. But don't be surprised if you see something like that, because is up to you really bad. Brackman doing this one. Happy, Excited. You do that. You sort of get your hands in a core motion. Everybody happy, excited. Don't forget your face. Flex Russian Excited How exciting. The next one is proud because it's important to be proud of yourself. So for this, when you get your thumbs like this sort of forward like this like you're going to do the weld inside, I think you sort of point backwards Well done kind of point to yourself this sort of, but would say vertical circular motion well done from the sides So you can see Yeah, fantastic, Confident because it's also important not only to be proud to be confident with your dominant hand you create the C shape, place it just underneath the chest state, see and double tap on your body. C c Confident That's this site C c. Confident now. Surprised if you want to express surprise that something is sort of an explosion from the chest with the facial expression of surprise. Really surprised. Surprised? Well done. But OK, now we're in the woods individual. Let's put them into a sentence. So now I'm gonna give you four sentences that would consign together. The 1st 1 will be I am happy. So do this. You get I Would you do this all right. I then do the sign for happy happy I happy Let's do it together. I happy. Fantastic! Next one is we are surprised So for that getting the sinful way which is of course, this week. Semi circle. Remember, we have been surprised. Explosion that weight Surprised. Now let's do it together. Wait. Surprised? That's do you singular are confident. But you just point to the person you saying you do to you, you confident is the double suitable tack C. C. So let's do it together. You confident you are confident? Brilliant. Now the final one. Let's do you plural are proud for that. Get the plural version of you, which is soft, like Flip you. You what circle you and then proud. Which is of course, so the double forms part to yourself proud. So let's do together, you pranked. You are proud. Well done. Now even miss. Let's move on to the next lesson. We're looking some negative vocabulary. Let's go
3. 5 Negative Emotions & Subject Pronouns: call. Now I've got some positive emotions in the knowledge bank. Let's move on to learning some negative emotions as well as the rest of the programs with positive, dramatically politics, sentences, which is They are. He is, she is, and it is. The five negative emotions will be learning in this lesson are very angry, frustrated, lonely sand. I'm tired. So first of all, let's go through a learning have to say the pronounce First he she and it directly, all the same signing Bridges because it would be very, very obvious from context. It's one of those things, like in front of things or anything like that, but not always specific. Like he we don't know. But it's obvious who we're talking about, one saying he based on the context. For example, if you mention John two minutes ago saying he it's obvious that you mentioned it's obvious that you talking about John three. Obviously you're talking about so just signs he shared it. It's sort of a dominant hand point across he. So just to make it clear how this differs from from you, you point pointing at someone he gets off point off into sort of you can see them, he would point to get them, obviously. Hey, but obviously just he got it that all they cost a sort of a singular. They in English people might Food Program day or he she or it. If you want in sign language because it's all the same, you don't really have 1/3 pronoun. It's more. That's sort of universal equal, which is nice when you think about they heat Shiites sort of a singular there when you're talking about what they for they in the plume talk about vein the traditional meaning of they. You get your dominant handing sort. So it's like this. Be so to flick it, they that sort of wave it, then it's obvious. So you in the plural, and they just so you can see how it always little differs from that. They from the side angle, they brilliant mother. So let's learn how to be able to attach these pronounced to some next vocabulary. All right, so to say angry, it sort of. It's sort of angry start to get the claws again. They did for excited, rip angry Earth. I agree facial. It's recognize, get angry. You're looking for box office. She angry with the boxes You just tripped over it. Frustrated is a little bit frustrated. It's obviously you got you'll now yourself from experiencing these emotions that frustrated isn't as strong as a angry, but it's still sort off. So it's not like a pepper grinder, all snapping a twig. So it's sort of like sort of dominant hand above on the dominant hand above your list on the hand twist. Oh, I'm very angry, but I'm at the dinner someone. So I'm gonna twist this pepper grinders so angrily. So make a point. I'm frustrated or let you breaking a twig. Angry. It's different of the Rangel do from this angle as well. Yeah, lonely, sort of the sweet sign, I think, because you sort of create a bridge. It's his very symbolic of experiencing loneliness with your less done and you sort of creator create a barrier like this. So your palms facing towards you, and then with the almost on hand, you start to get your index finger like this. I hear about tell someone off you put it behind under the bridge. I'm Lynn. She is very, is very emblematic of what Actually, loneliness is. What did you separate from other people you can't go through, so no lonely? Well, the next one is sad, so save your feeling sad. You get your dominant hand again. Sort of vertical slowly, slowly. She can other when you speak. You do tend to be quite fast anyway, but you sit down to sign quite quickly anyway. But sort of a bit slower, I suppose, in the rest, cause it's to mimic the feeling of sadness. So you get your dominant hand vertical like this. It's sort of buying nose and slowly go down. The poor facial expression sent So no fee facial expression again, and I'll keep bringing it up. But it is important on our final like to the motion of this lesson is tired. Tie. It is again. It's very simple. This is what I like beverages silent. Everything you do in the sign mimics soft the emotion quite nicely. I think so. Tired is it's sort of like a deflating, so you get both hands like this. It comes out in the sort of so it's like a bridge collapsing from tiredness from 50 each social like that. It feels nice as well. When you do time you like, you're letting your arms relax. It's one that is a wonderful thing anyway. Maybe it's just me being a big cry. Did sign language tied? All right now we've looked those dimensions. Let's put them all into a sentence. So, like in the previous last night, go through four sentences on one side or the other. All right, so the 1st 1 I'm gonna do is he is angry. So we get the he signed. Which is he? Angry, angry, getting claws rip angry. So he's angry. Let's do it together. He angry. It is sad. Remembers the same sign it. I've been sad. It sad, stood together. It it's that they are tired. They is in the plural sense. So they remember this. Remember the siphon night and then tied collapsing bridge from city Tired do together. They You're tired. You don't have to do that. Sound is just me to make a bit more off yourself. She is frustrated. She and then frustrated. Maybe pepper grinders. Frustrated. The dinner tables. No vascular carrots, distracted. Straight. Well done. Next, let's move on to the next lesson. We're learning up. Final set of positive emotions
4. 5 More Positive Emotions & The Grammatical Negative: all right. So far, we've learned all the available pronouns in British Sign language and English boat. We've learned how to use the pronouns in the grammatical affirmative grammatical firm to basically means that it's positive you've not got a negative word when you've got a negative grammatical would like. No, so they are happy is in the grammatical affirmative, the grammatical positive. But they are not happy or they aren't happy. Eat happy. Remove the ways of saying ankle. That's the grammatical negative, but that not they are not. They aren't happy. So that's what we'll be learning how to use today. That not with all the different pronouns. So in this lesson will be learning how to go through the original pronounce the original four programs we did in the first lesson, but this time with Jamie to the grammatical negative. So I am. I am not on. We know you singular are not, and you, plural are not as well as this will be going through the five more positive emotions, which are, of course interested. Jolly pleased, optimistic, eager. But first vault that scofflaw on the negative pronoun phrases not to say not in British sign language that quite simple. Get both your hands and sort of sort of like in a referee mattress. No. So it's a refereeing, a football match. Now it's sort of not, and you can put after any pro down to negate it graphically. So we've already let more. I happiest I happy. I am not happy, is I? If I know that was, put that with all the program, So I'm not. I know we are not just we no, you singular or not just you? No. And then you plural, of course, is you no facial expression. Go. No, it's not really as important this time, but it's not, I suppose, a semantic negation Where it's Montigny Gatien is. It's negative meaning, for example, he is angry, is a negative meaning, but it's a positive, but it's positive. Dramatic because it's he is angry because he is not angry, is negative. Dramatically. He is not angry, but it's positive semantically meanings of he is not anger. So so it's sort of I I not angry, so it's sort of facial expression is more contextualized. It's not fixed to this Sinus foes, except now we're going through the pronouncement flotsam enough from words, right? So just to sign so decide interests that it's the same sign is excited, but a little bit more inquisitive. Sort of the model so excited or interest is more so. We've let's go stale, excited with less gusto. Interested? Sounds interesting. Bigger angle. Jolie is the next one. Jolie, Julie and Mary. I suppose it's sort of the same thing. Is it Julie? Sort of. Get your list on the handout, like apart. Sort of like two things out like this. Like you're just supposed like this and then sort of jump. Really? Mary Jo. Same thing. Sort of jump of happiness He Jolie pleases. Next one, please is very much a stronger version of happy. We're happiest So far. Said happy like this all happens like that where please is definitely looking for Yeah, well, please pleased about that. The next one is optimistic, optimistic or positive? Positive is across side. Where you with your less than one hand, you hold up sort of backwards one. So one is and this with your dominant hand. But with your less demand, you sort of create a backwards Well, your with the front got hundreds facing followed wall and then with your most of hand across. So your insides of your fingers Meat positive. No feet patients, Russian posted. Final One is e. Get keen of your eagerness, Keating. He's sort of rub your hands together. You know, that sounds good. Anyway, never let those emotion was. Let's go and live. Have to That's going to create some full sentences by peculiar together. Sentencing was signed. So in this 1st 1 I want I want to say I am not interested. So I is. Of course I not. Is no interested, of course, unless ghost story excited. So I not interested you. Facial expression matches the context, not always the individual sign. So a support interest is more of an inquisitive look. But if you're not interested in you because this device so I next one is you are not Jolie we'll go for you. Plural on, Jolly said. You plural is you not Jolie was of course, sure. So let's do it together. You, not Jolie. Fantastic Wilder. Next one is we are not optimistic. Week is of course, we no optimistic which was, of course, he cross. Let's put it all together. We not optimistic Final One is new. Singular are not pleased. Let's go for that. You single. You not You are not pleased, you know. Please fantastic. We now live 10 bits of positive positive items of okay, but also in the next lesson we'll be learning a final five. It's a negative. Vocabulary is also looking. Have to negate the rest of the pronouns. Let's go.
5. 5 More Negative Emotions & The Grammatical Negative: cool. We've made it to our final lesson will be lonely. Perhaps signed the next five items of negative vocabulary as well as the rest of the programs in the grammatical negative. So in this last one, believing have say he is not, she is not. It is not they singular. That's what was they plural? I know as well as this will be learning the negative, the five, the rest of the five negative vocabulary, which are going to be confused. Maris. Jealous? Bored. I'm pessimistic to be negative. Pessimistic, but my court settles on the program. Grammatical, negative first. So he she it and their singular are not he she it this I appreciate bay singular. Not same is in the other one, but just tramples the sign for not then they, of course, is just the exact same pattern. Is they they not. They know they are not. So now, Master that Let's learn now it must. That was lonely. You, the science for the emotions. Let's get the 1st 1 is confused. Confused is, is a nice Well, I think it's one of my favorite sign for it. Sort of confused. Are you? Sort of overwhelms here covering your head so messing about what's confused and confused. One of my favorites, because it's really expressive. Embarrassed is shy. So you get your dominant hand sort of like you hide your faithful this so that in front of your face and then So if you want with your head like pretty to the side of your computer embarrassed, shy or anxious, barest or couple that happened to me You next one is jealous for this one. You get your index finger in your dominant hand. You create a hook there, tap you chin twice. Just jealous. Obviously you don't. I We shouldn't have a hook for a hand. Jealous. Next one is bored. Bored is signed. Soft light. Thank you, I suppose. I don't know why I got you, in fact, being bored with you. But instead of doing that's thank you. Bodies use tap so full public don't have tap. Yeah, board Final word is pessimistic or negative. This one you with your less than hang crate Harmed by that, you must have given this and cut like a knife. O negative. Well, negative. Pessimistic about this because I imagine if it's on a pirate ship if you did something bad or something you don't that you might be punished by. That's a lot of negatives. It's negative. Think every your hand. Couldn't your pirate supposed the reason I'm giving these silly sort silly little representations off because it's easy to remember. But, you know, if you can think of a better or for yourself to remember instead of sort of a pirate putting you hand, it would be pessimistic about that. You know, it's thinking about him if you want O negative anyway. Yeah, that's all the all the negative emotions learn, So let's put them into some sentences. The five most recent ones, we've looked into some sentences with the grammatical negative sentences. Let's go. I would like to stay. He's not bored. He is, of course he not or put it together. He he not Bolt. She's not jealous. She's not jealous. Physical? She seems so for he in it. She not jealous. She not just let's do it together. She not tell us now wants us to say it is not confused. It's after it, not confused. So old scandals do all together together it not confused and finally it like save a clue. They are not embarrassed. Rescue. So they is they not? And then embarrassed is, of course, Barrasso altogether. Is they not embarrassed? Fantastic. Well done. You've now gone through the whole course of all 20 emotions to express yourself. So in the next game. So in the next lesson, or putting all this knowledge to the test in a little game, let's go.
6. Test Your Knowledge!: all right, thanks for joining me in the product section of the course will be looking at too many games because we've NASA did a very decent number of new items of vocabulary, including pro. Now those wells have toe negate something dramatically as well as, say, something in the grammatical, grammatical, positive or affirmative, as well as 10 positive emotions and 10 negative emotions. I think it's only right to put it to a test little game. This game was off two parts. The first part will be your memory game, where you'll be asked to recognize a sentence. That's I the second game who go about being able to produce the signs yourselves. So let's get into the first game. So this is the first game I will sign a sentence from all the book ever that I've learned throughout this course. Wait about, let's say five second, you would say five seconds yet then you'll have to sort of, you know, shacked up your screen if you want what's taking your head or however you want what have actually set. Then, of course, after five seconds apart, give you the answer. Our sign is well saying and then And then I'll write on the screen as well. Somewhat So ultimately your job stiff to get at what I saw. For example, I would do this. I'll do it twice Theories Then after about five seconds or so, that was Of course I am happy. And then if you got that right bottom set without further ado, let's get into the game. The first sentence is this. I was of course I I'm no scent. Your next sentence is this. That is of course we are confused. Your next sentence is this. That is of course they are embarrassed. Your next sentence is this. That is of course, you plural. A pessimistic negative. The next sentence is this. That is of course you are not eager. Your six sentence is this. That was of course, he she ate all their singular are not proud of themselves, not prayer. Your accent. This is this. That sentence was of course, they are interested. A lot of positive local. That's interesting, right? You're final sentence. Is this pay attention? That was of course, we I'm not Jolie, Although get well done for doing that. Now it's jump onto the next game this second game is all about being. You produced the signs yourself. So for this I will say assign whilst having it. You know the sentence that I will say it sentence was having the centers appear so you can read it as well. And then will you be able to sign that sentence yourself? And then after a decent amount time, let's say you time sign it, shall we say 10 seconds? That's inferring. If you wonder why I'm speaking to you should not respond. But yeah, I think 10 seconds is fair enough. So, for example, you know your sentences. I am happy will appear on screen after 10 seconds. I'll of course, do this. You know I happy you can check your answer against mine. So without further ado, let's get into the game Your first sentences. I am sad. All right. I am sad. Could be some of this. I sand I sand. Your next sign is we're not jealous. We are not jealous. Is we not jealous? Your next sentence? We are excited. We are excited. Is this we excited or we excited? Your next sign is she is bold. She is bored. Is this she board? She poor next sense. It is that they are not tired. They're not side is cost. They no tired. Your next sentence is I am not eager. I am not eager. Is Of course I not? Yeah, I'm No. You go. Your second to last sentences. It is angry. It is Andrea. Is each it angry? It hungry. All right, you're final sentence. Is you plural? I'm not surprised, you plural. I'm not surprised. Is this you? No. Surprised. Well done. If all those correct No, simply go over the lessons again that you struggled on or go over this game again until you get it full of correct. But without further ado for well, for all intents and purposes, this is my course over Now my emotion courts over. And I'm hoping that you've learned quite a lot stuff. But the more formal goodbye will be in the next lesson. You know, formal conclusion to this cost will be in the next last hope for you. That
7. Thanks and Bye!: All right. Well done. You've now completed my fault course. And I'm really happy that you decided to go on this journey with me. I felt you found this cost really, really useful, as you've learned, you know, not only some new signs, but some more grammatical terms like that.
