About This Class

Welcome to Brazilian Portuguese – The Ultimate Course

My name is Eduardo Rodrigues and I love teaching as much as I love learning new languages. And I truly believe that it is impossible not to find the ability of speaking other languages thrilling to say the least. When people say that they dislike a foreign language it is certainly because they haven’t successfully acquired the fluency they desired. After all, what’s not to like? When you learn to speak another language besides your own, you are able to understand different cultures, to laugh at different jokes, to feel independent when traveling. It is simply amazing.

And I know for a fact that the only way to learn how to speak a foreign language is to speak it. You’re not going to learn to speak Portuguese by simply repeating a few words here and there, a few sentences here and there. Repetition is certainly part of process, but it should NOT be the process. That’s why I’ve developed “Brazilian Portuguese – The New Method”. Short, but meaningful lessons that will have you speaking Portuguese faster than you can imagine.

How does this course work?

The first thing you have to do is go to "Resources" and download the PDF file with everything that will be covered in this unit. It is a beautiful, well-designed material containing hundreds of pictures that will help you understand Portuguese with ease.

Each unit is divided into the following sections:

Vocabulário (Vocabulary): It works as an introduction to the unit. Here you’ll learn some important words that will be covered in that unit. Listen and repeat each word, this way you will internalize them faster.

De olho na gramática (Keeping an eye out for grammar): this section will bring you just the right amount of grammar you need to do the oral activities in a natural way.

Vamos conversar? (Let’s talk!): this section is the core of this course because it is composed of real-life conversational models. Students have to answer questions following a pattern while incorporating in their sentences the vocabulary that was introduced at the beginning of the unit. That’s exactly where this course stands out from because students are encouraged to say the answers orally, and within the allotted time. That’s the best way to acquire fluency.

Na ponta da língua (On the tip of your tongue): this section gives pronunciation tips that, over time, will help students get familiar with the sounds that may be key to understanding native speakers of Brazilian Portuguese.

Leitura! (Reading!): this section is a text containing lots of words that were studied throughout the unit. Somehow, it is a way to review what the students have learned in the unit, but also to show how much they can now understand.

Você sabia? (Did you know?) This section brings interesting cultural facts from Brazil. After all, from where I stand, language can’t be dissociated from culture.

Besides that, you’ll also be able to download PDF files with lots of writing activities which are also corrected on video.

In this course, you will learn how to

I start each unit of the course with the vocabulary section. There you have the first contact with important words that will be used in the conversational activities is coeval stage. Larva Hallows them. Maybe unnecessary. You'll come across the keep an eye out for grammar section. Don't worry, you won't be asked to memorize complicated grammar rules. You'll learn exactly what you need to know to make your communication half and in a natural way, the article, for example, it becomes four different words and Portuguese. Or when referring to a singular masculine noun, Oh God or two, all the way through hookah there. We also feature and on the tip of your tongue section on which students will learn how to differentiate sounds. That might be tricky when speaking, or even when understanding native speakers. Cabbies. Cap V's. Thus. Thus, the hear me out section is about developing your listening skills. It is also a great way for you to know how fast you're improving. Of course, the audio you here is based on the vocabulary you've learned throughout the lesson. You'll be someone solvus, california or center Today's boys cinco, way to say it just set to 0. The reading section brings a great taxed filled with words you have studied. You'll feel really excited when you see how much you have learned once you start reading it. This Cheonan, no theme or her chin of fonts you do denture Simona, LSC live into being CO2. Dhamma. As you might already know, language cannot be dissociated from culture discourse also feature that the general section here, you'll find interesting taxable precedent, tradition, culture, curiosities. Our first Julianna, homo does festers mice that had soon as Dubai is a festers within a common mura. Adding to this decision rule is to Brazil case. You're wondering, I haven't forgotten the Balder right? And activities. So I'm also offering you PDF files with loss of writing activities. You can print it if you want to, or you can just write the answers down in your notebook. Call me old-fashioned, but I really think that writing by hand helps you memorize words faster. So I honestly believe that this course has everything that you need to start speaking Portuguese today. 2. Página I - Vocabulário: Hi. In this video, you'll see some vocabulary and we're just going to be used in our conversational activities. Watch the video and do some repetition, and try to memorize as many words as you can. Don't worry if you can only remember a feel of them. Since this whole capillary is going to be used in several activities, you'll have plenty of opportunities to get familiar with any words. If you think it's necessary. Watch the video again. Have fun learning Portuguese. I'm live. Well grand piano. I am Boesen. Well fast, cheap. Data flow similar as Shangdi. Well G, H, flu shot tail. Draw the hand log 2M. Thing that I hear me. I'm going to do it on the credit card data. Porsche 3. Página II - De olho na gramática : In Portuguese, the words, the nouns actually are either masculine or feminine. So when we say the names of things, we're supposed to use an appropriate article. For example, the word house in Portuguese is considered feminine. So we say ACASI, the house. The word car, however, is considered a masculine noun. So we say Orca, who? The car. We use the article or before masculine nouns in the article. Before a feminine noun. But you must be thinking, how do I know if a noun is either masculine or feminine? Well, that's going to happen naturally by steady in the language. But I have a little tip for you. Most of the words end in o are masculine. In most of the words end in a feminine. Uga or do. Uga for aka, a Bolsa, a Coca-Cola daughter. In English, we don't usually use articles before a person's name. Portuguese, We do. We use the article or before a man's name? Would John or Michael Omi go here and we use the article before a woman's name. I'll leucine Ahmadiyya IU that the English articles a and n become. In Oman. In Portuguese, we use own before masculine nouns and we use Omer for feminine nouns. Remember that key, purse and a wallet considered feminine nouns. So if you wanted to say a key, a purse in a wallet, in Portuguese, you would say almost savvy. Omar boast, or macaque data. On the other hand, the words hat, stapler, and passport are masculine nouns. So if you wanted to say a hand, a stapler, and a passport in Portuguese, you'd say, oh Chappelle, homegrown Theodore, on past support. The words. And Oma also mean one. So homo bossa can mean either a purse or one purse. And we Chappelle a hat or one hat. In Portuguese, most numbers don't change before a masculine noun or a feminine noun. But a few numbers do. Number one is one of them, and omen, that also happens to number two. We use DOI is before masculine nouns. Doi zoom in. Though is Chappelle's do is by supports. And we use those before feminine nouns. Do a smoothie, edits, do a sharpies. To us both sets. Now it's revealed time. Masculine or feminine. Masculine or feminine. Masculine. Nice Corpus. Notice she cares. 4. Página II - Vamos conversar - Explicação do Modelo: Hey, there. Do you remember how to use own? And in Portuguese? If you don't, I suggest you go back to the previous video and watch it one more time. But if you do understand how to use those words, then you're ready for the next activity. You're going to answer questions based on a model. Try to answer them within the allotted time. This type of activity will help you improve your fluency and Portuguese. Let's begin the activity by understanding the model. You're going to hear the following question, okay? Okay, so means watch this. And in some situations it also means What's that? As long as the object you're referring to is close to you or to the person you're talking to. It's okay to ask or keys. For example, if I see something in your hand and I don't know what it is, then I can ask Achilles. But also if I have something in my hand and I don't know what it is that I'm holding. I can ask someone else. Achilles is right. But how would you respond if a person asks you that question? Let's say you're holding a key and I ask you, okay, So then it should say l my sharpie, it's a key. Since shove is a feminine noun, our Sharpie, you must say, if instead of a key you were holding a hat, then your answer would be a chateau. Chappelle. Since Chappelle is a masculine noun or Chappelle, you must say, Now you're ready. Watch the next video. Answer the questions out loud. It is important that you answer them out loud. Since you can only learn how to ride a bike. By riding a bike, he can only learn how to drive a car. By driving a car, you can only learn how to speak Portuguese by speaking Portuguese. 5. Página II - Vamos conversar: Okay, cool. Okay, So l less savvy. Okay, so that's the thought. Okay, So l grand piano. Okay, so okay, so element moles center. 6. Página III - Vamos conversar - Explicação: Now let's practice using the words though is in the US. To do that, we're going to answer the following questions. 12. Contests. Both words mean how many? But we use quantities with masculine nouns, monosomy, X, quantum Chappelle's. And we use quantities with feminine nouns. On does molarities, quantities, poses. You may remember that both boys and doers mean to you. But we use though is with masculine nouns. And those with feminine nouns. Those openings do is pass a porches. Do as Meletus, do a xik at us. Okay. Now you're ready. Watch the video, answered the questions out loud, and be prepared to be speaking Portuguese faster than you can imagine. 7. Sell those thetas to spin that I sell the ice thing that I've used. 8. Página IV - De olho na gramática: How do you say the word this in Portuguese? Well, it depends. If you're referring to a masculine noun, you're supposed to use the word. The words had, credit card and stapler or masculine nouns. So if you want to say this hat, this credit card, and this stapler, then it should say is to Chappelle. Is staccato, is see, grumpy adore. However, if you want to save this purse, this wallet, this key in Portuguese, Venice should say S, S, S a Sharpie, because purse, wallet, and key, or feminine nouns in Portuguese. Now let's talk about the words my endure in Portuguese. My referring to a masculine noun is my hat. On my credit card. Credit to my stapler who Milgram peer drew. My referring to a feminine noun is my purse, Armenia, boats, my wallet. Armenia. My key. I mean Sharpie. You're referring to a masculine noun is whose seal? Your hat was SUE. Your credit card. Whose seal ketones declared your stapler. So grumpy or door. You're referring to a feminine noun, is sure. Your purse or your wallet. Your key. Now, it's review time. Masculinity is civil law. Masculinity on Neil civil law. Feminine. Masculine or still civil law. 70. 9. Now, let's analyze the words and expressions that are going to be used in our model. Quality sensor. Sensor means, excuse me, call this sensor is so Suseela, Excuse me, Is this your cell phone? Since cellphone is a masculine word in Portuguese, we must use is C. And so when we're referring to it, try to pronounce this four words. Is C a 0, as if they were only one word. I mean, say it without pause in between words is CO sill, is Celsius. No. No means, no, no. Well mu solo law concept is amines unsure and positive. It can also mean certainly, Absolutely. So if I ask you, if you really want to learn Portuguese, you can say concept is help. So lovely. Back to our model. Concept is nowhere. It means, I'm sure this isn't my cell phone. If we're asking about a purse, which is a feminine noun in Portuguese, were suppose to say quality sensor, S, sewer both sensor, SAS x2 are both. Excuse me, Is this your purse? No. Concept is S and nowhere near Boston. No. Cones, 60s AS no m in your borsa. Know that certainly not my purse or I'm sure that's not my purse. Well, I believe you're ready to practice that model. Don't forget to try to answer the questions within the allotted time. You're going to hear the correct answer after you speak. Will you be able to answer the questions within the given time? Concept? Is. 10. Página IV - Vamos conversar: So still subtler. Call safety is the AC noise sensor. Constant. P is a sensor. All safe day. Is that a synovial no. Shut down. Since this was so-called CPU. Besides that, this activity, you will notice that the colors in an OH will change when they're referring to a feminine noun. For example, for support, to support, chmod, Lou, Hamer, Ella. Support should be familiar with the colors which don't end in all. Remain the same. Support shall zoom. Zoo. Support from my home. She Karameh home. Now you're ready to do a great job. Have fun learning Portuguese. 13. Página V - Vamos conversar: You keep as soon as you keep adding media. Am I am a home? Tail. Pull up, do it in a minute. Gk Cortes was a village in C sharp edge. Computer in Portuguese computador is I think aqui think that it or I guess that it is a squad. I think that it is computer. Meaning that the person isn't sure, but he or she thinks that computer in Portuguese is compa. Our motto continues, crave. The word C comes from the verb which means to write. A literal translation would be, how do you write that? That's the question most Brazilians ask when they're not sure how to spell a certain word. Although we do have the verb solera, which literally means to spell, people don't use it too often. Of course, it is 100% correct to ask, but it sounds a little bit too formal. If you want to sound more casual, it is a better idea to ascra. Well, back to our model Cogs computer in Portuguese Ski Computadoravisu C or now you're ready. Remember that each time we're going to ask the question, you're going to answer them. Whenever you see this hand, it means it is your time to speak. The article, for example, it becomes four different words in Portuguese when referring to a singular masculine noun. Got olibru ocado When referring to a singular feminine noun, agar a boat. When referring to a plural masculine noun, Oscar, oliver. When referring to a plural feminine nouns, gart as boas, as past the English indefinite articles and become when referring to a singular masculine noun, garlic, uma. When referring to a singular feminine noun, uma, garrote, uma, boha, um, past the words and uma also have plural forms. In this case, they'd be translated as some or a few. Um, When referring to a plural masculine nouns, scarotus um lius scam. When referring to plural feminine nouns, ums, gart, boha, ums, pastas. The word my in Portuguese becomes le mina. Meals and minus. We usually place the articles as before them. Um, um as minas. We use meal with singular masculine nouns and meals with plural masculine nouns. Um, celula, miles, limonada, le laps. We use in with singular feminine nouns. Men with plural famine nouns, amina, agenda, asminas, pasts, aminata, asminas, chavis. Now let's study demonstratives. Words like this, that these and those in Portuguese, there are three different groups of demonstratives. I'll give a short explanation about them right now, but we're not going to practice all of them at once, it would be counterproductive. The three groups are tukequil, you must use the first group when you're talking about something that's close to you, that's near you, especially if it's in your hand. Ischium, the cell phone. Mine Esta the Spanish mine. Mi this is mine. You must use the second group when you're talking about something that's close to the person you're talking to. Iso your cell phone can, is that your pen, is that you must only use the third group when you're talking about something that's far from you and also from the person you're talking to utter. How much is that book? Quantusta aquella bosa. How much is that eraser quantal. How much is that? Is akili are used with singular masculine nouns. Is is aqui. If you're referring to plural masculine nouns, all you have to do is add an S to the demonstrative is cartus acids, gut, esta ak are used with singular feminine nouns. Esta garage, ace, gut. And in the future, it'll be super useful when you learn how to accentuate words. Simple syllables are simply the combination of a consonant and a vowel. The word hair in Portuguese is B. This is a great example of a word formed only by simple syllables because it has a fixed pattern, which is consonant plus vowel. If this pattern isn't broken, then it's really easy to know the syllables of that specific word. Bill, for instance, has three syllables, flu. If the word doesn't have a graphic accent, we usually stress the second to last syllable. That's a very common pronunciation pattern in Portuguese. Remember we stress the second to last syllable. As a consequence, the last syllable will be unstressed, really soft, barely pronounced in the word Bill. We're going to stress the syllable, the syllable will be really soft and unstressed. Bill, take a look at the words candy, fight, coffee and beautiful in Portuguese. How are we supposed to pronounce them? The first one is ba, ba is stressed and is unstressed. The second one is lut. Lu is stressed and t is unstressed. The third one is a little different. If it followed the general rule, we would pronounce it cafe. Okay, but we don't pronounce it this way. The correct pronunciation is cafe. That's why it has a graphic accent over the letter E. The graphic accent shows where the stress syllable is. Remember that the graphic accent is not necessary when the stress syllable is the second to last. Because that's the general rule. The last word, bello, falls into the general rule category. No graphic accent is necessary. Be is stressed, and low is unstressed bell bell. In the next video, you'll see a short revealing Portuguese. See you there. 51. You've already studied how to use ill and in. Remember we use l with masculine nouns and mina with famine nouns. Amanita. We normally place le and mina before the noun the same way that's done in English. People don't say how my, but my house. Right? In Portuguese though, things are a little different when we're talking about a third person's possessions. For example, the word in Portuguese is the word her, as in her notebook is blue, is dell. It doesn't matter if we're talking about a masculine noun or a feminine noun. If it belongs to a man, we use the word daily. If it belongs to a woman, we use the word dell. The position will change when compared to male and mina. We must place the words and della after the noun. If you wanted to say his notebook in Portuguese, you would say Pca de his pen. Call her notebook collar, pen, atalla. Now, compare my notebook. Cado his notebook card. Nod her notebook card. No, my pen, his pen. Act, pen, Aca della. In the next video, you'll see a short review. See you there. 69. Possessives (Review in Portuguese): A gramachaclucllcta ella act della. 70. Using Dele & Dela in a Conversation Model): In the next video, you practice using the words and Dell In Portuguese, we use the propositions. And to say that something belongs to a person, it corresponds to the apostrophe S in English or the proposition of, for example, do Miguel corresponds to Miguel's da un means unas. If you wanted to say Miguel's car in Portuguese, you'd say do Miguel literally, the car of Miguel as house would be a literally the house of Anna. First you mention what belongs to the person, for example, Pudo the notebook as the folder. Then you add the proposition if it belongs to a man or if it belongs to a woman. For example, Pudo Paul Notebook Apata Anna's folder. Let's understand the model be asked. For example, pasta. Is this Ana's folder? You should answer. Estapa, Yes, this folder is hers, or yes, this is her folder. Remember that we use della when something belongs to a woman. If you're asked, is this Us laptop computer, then you should say, Saucy, this laptop computer is, yes, this is his laptop computer. Remember that we use the word deal when something belongs to a man. Things will get really simpler when you start using deal and Dell in our conversational activities. See you there. 71. Conversation Practice (Possessives): Mus convex esta pasta dana sing esta pasta della chi buck a. Julio sing chachi bucca dell esta Gina eda Paul sing tag dell Dj sing Chad, Chico chi Edwin sing Chico chi de esta in sing estatal estameza eda Maria sin estamezadll Estelapz edu Gustavo sin telapzadli. 72. Verbs Ser & Fazer: In this video, we will start studying some verbs in Portuguese. But before we actually talk about verbs, we're going to talk about personal pronouns, words like she and so on. In Portuguese, we have the following pronouns, I, L, v, singular. No, we, eli, they when referring to men or men and women together. Ls, they. When referring to women only plural. You might be wondering about a pronoun it. Well, we don't actually have one pronoun that means it depending on the case, we use eli or L when in English people would use it. For example, I dropped my computer and it broke. In Portuguese, that would be dputbro. We use because computer is a masculine noun, I dropped my camera and it broke. Now the translation would be Edema, Merkel, bro. Now we have to use all because camera is a feminine noun. In Portuguese, sometimes we use no pronoun at all when in English people use it. For example, I have to talk to you is important. In Portuguese import, it's just like saying in English, I have to talk to you is important. I know that's not correct in English, but that's 100% correct in Portuguese. When we're talking about something unknown or about a fact, an idea about what someone has just said, we usually use the word what is it? I don't agree with it, concord. But please don't worry about it now. It'll take some time to get then. For now, all you have to do is remember the pronouns L v, no es el v. Now let's talk about verbs. The first verb we're going to see is the verb. It means to be. And we have to conjugate it just like you do it in English, right? Becomes I am a, she is, and so on. Let's see how we conjugate the verb in the present. So I am a, L, a, she is v, a. You are singular, nous, we are L, L, so they are So you are plural form since the verb forms are always exactly the same for the pronoun L, v, because these three pronouns are considered third person singular. And the pronounces L because they're considered third person plural. From now on, they'll be put together like this when we're conjugating verbs. Okay, so a no es el va. Another verb that we're going to see today is the baz. It can mean both to do and to make. Faze is conjugated like this fall no es el va. Now, watch a short reveal in the next video. 73. Conjugating the Verbs Ser & Fazer: Gia Gramatica Pre inova fa fa la Va no, famslsaz. 74. Using the Verbs Ser & Fazer in a Conversation Model: In the next video, you practice professions and occupations in Portuguese. Let's analyze the model. The first question is going to be about the person's name. You hear Amid, what's his name? You should answer Miro, his name is Bruno. Then you hear kelips. Okiliphas means, what does he do? You should answer magical. He is a Dr. Notice that the person's name and profession are written below the picture, although in English we use the indefinite articles and when we're talking about a person's profession. For example, I am a teacher, she is an engineer. In Portuguese we don't, we don't usually say, we simply say professor. We must use and um, with professions and occupations only when we use an adjective to qualify it, for example. So Professor Malos, I am a wonderful teacher, then it's okay, but if I'm just saying what a person does, then I must not use or uma. Remember when you see this hand, it means it's your turn to speak. You'll be asked two questions. Follow the model, you'll hear the correct answer after you speak. Have fun learning Portuguese. 75. Conversation Practice (Ser & Fazer): Venus convexRomdomdea. But when you're talking to someone who is much older than you are or someone who is an authority, the best option is to use when talking to a man and when talking to a woman, for example, a professor. Are you a teacher? Are you a Dr. By using you're showing respect to older people. Some older people though, prefer to be addressed by the pronouns. All verbs in Portuguese in their infinitive form will end in either R, R, or R. There's actually one exception that will be dealt with later in the course. If you look the verb to love up in an English Portuguese dictionary, you'll find the verb am, Since it ends in R, it belongs in the first group. If you look up the verb to, you'll find me a second conjugation verb because it ends in ER. If you look up the verb to love in the sense of live in a place, you'll find a third conjugation verb. But you might be wondering, why should I know about these groups? Well, the answer is quite simple. With the exception of irregular verbs, most verbs will follow the same rule when you're conjugating them. It'll be much easier for you to guess the conjugation of an unknown verb. And depending on emphasis and on the person who is speaking, it might sound like if you want to say, I live, I speak, I work, and I study in Portuguese, you say imu ultra balu stud. A agence is a synonym for no, but it is considered informal Portuguese. But believe me, people use it all the time. Although there are some people who frown upon this expression, it is certainly okay to use it, it isn't considered bad Portuguese. You should only avoid it when you're writing informal context. If it's an essay or a formal e mail, then no is the better option. I believe that most people prefer to use agen because the verb conjugation is simpler. It is the same verb ending we use with eli el. Instead of saying no palms. We speak English. Most people would probably say a genchi falle. It means the same, but it sounds more casual. Let me give you one more piece of information about the word en chi without the a. It means people, folks, guys, and it can be used when greeting two or more people. Hi, guys. We don't usually say, for example, a Paris. We just say Paris. Paris. Melinda sedag. Paris is a beautiful city. Modeling Paris. I live in Paris. In this example, the preposition could be translated as in English. When we're talking about the city where we live, we should only use the proposition Elmo in Buenos Aires. I live in Buenos Aires. Nolin, we live in Berlin. Elam Lima. She lives in Lima. But we do have a couple of exceptions. The cities of Rio de Janeiro, Cairo, and Porto are considered masculine nouns. When we're talking about these cities, we do not usually omit the article. We say dijo el mal dedaj. Rio de Janeiro is a beautiful city. If you live in Cairo, for example, you have to say, cai, I live in Cairo is the contraction of the proposition in the article. Don't worry, you'll learn more about this by the end of this video. Summarizing, as a general rule, names of cities are considered feminine nouns. We usually omit the article we've seen, though a few exceptions, Jojo, most names of countries, usually either masculine or feminine. We usually do not omit the article. For example, Brazil, tabs, asinaspilipinos. How would you say that you live in these countries? Well, I live in Brazil, would be Elmo. Brazil is the contracted form of a plus. In Portuguese, you cannot say Elmo Brazil. You must combine the proposition and the article. It becomes Elmo no, brazio. Elmo, Elmo, no. You cannot say elmorotadosonidus. You must combine the proposition a in the article, it becomes n lmotadoidus. You cannot say elmoroa. You must combine the proposition A in the article, it becomes N moca. Finally, you can't say moro as Filipino must combine the proposition A the article, it becomes Nasa Filipinos. Well, we do have a few exceptions regarding names of countries. We usually omit the article before a few names of countries like Portugal, Mozambique and Cuba, Portugal, Mozambiqua, Portugal, Immbiqui, Lm in Cuba. If you order water in a restaurant in Brazil, you certainly have to pay for it. They may ask you if you want your water saying gas with or without gas. Agua gas, water with gas. That's how we say sparkling water in Portuguese, it makes sense, right? After all, there is some type of gas in the water. The Difference between SER & ESTAR: In this video, you learn about the jeran in Portuguese. In English it is when you add IN G to the verb, right. In Portuguese, however, we add D O to the verb. Remember that the verbs in Portuguese in their infinitive form, and in R, E R, or I R. Well, in any case, the last letter is going to be R. To put a verb in the eran form, the only thing you have to do is remove the R and add O to the verb. For example, the verb to brush in Portuguese is cova. How would you say brushing in Portuguese? Simple, remove the R, add DO, and you've got iscovdu. Is it right to wash lava, washing lavdu, drink beer, drinking, band. Watch as watching, assist, to eat, eat. A few lessons ago you learned that the verb corresponded to the verb to be in English. Actually, there's another verb in Portuguese that corresponds to the verb to B as well. It is the verb, But when should you use one or the other? It depends on the situation. You've seen that when you're describing someone or something, or when you're talking about a person's profession, nationality, or how you are related to that person, you should use the verb sea. For example, out I am tall, the edge of vogado. He is a lawyer. No somos franceses. We are French. Someone's music. They are my sisters. However, when you're saying what someone is doing in this situation, you're supposed to use the verb ta. Let's conjugate this verb to esta No, tom, el is stone. You may have noticed that the verb esta is an irregular verb because it doesn't follow the rules for the first conjugation verbs. It is an extremely important verb, should memorize its conjugation. As I've just said, we use the verb sta to say what people are doing. How would say I'm eating? In Portuguese, we are drinking nous stembdu. They are watching TV. It is stinoeeta is followed by a verb, jeran, a verb with D. In the next video, you see a short review. 161.
