1. Hello !: Hello guys. Congratulations for joining this course. In this course, we will explain to you in detail how we take our food photography pictures. So many people asked me how to create a professional food photography result. And also asked me about how I do the lighting, how the writing technique is, what kind of lighting, what kind of camera, what kind of lenses, how I set my camera until how I added this picture. Yep. Many thing. And I will share to you in this entire course, Okay. And also in this course, we will to you about different lighting position based on what kind of food you take. And also I will explain to you about the different position of the lighting based on what kind of angle you want to take. After we take the picture, we will move to the editing section. We'll explain to you about the step by step, how we edit those picture, how to get the beautiful sharpness, how to get the exact beautiful color of food photography, and many things we will explain to you step by step. Okay, so wow, I'm so excited and I'll see you in the next section. I will share to you step by step. 2. Introduction of Lighting: Okay guys, welcome to this section. In this section, I will explain to you about the lighting equipment we use for this entire course. Okay. The main tools here is the lighting. Okay? Why? This lighting is one of my favorite. I know that you have so many options for the lighting. For food photography, you can use this flash light, this huge flash light. You can also use the natural lighting. You can use also the continuous light thing. Oh, you can use small speed light, like this. Okay? So what's the difference? Okay, Why? Finally, I choose this one as something that I use for like maybe seven years, okay? This is huge and when you travel a lot, this is not as flexible as the small one. But finally, I choose this one because I need the powerful lighting that will overpower the lighting, ambient light around us, okay. When I shoot in restaurants, sometimes I have no control about the ambient lighting in the restaurant. Maybe the lighting in the restaurant have a color, like there's a restaurant that have the green lighting there. There's a restaurant that have the warm lighting. I don't want the ambient lighting wherever I shoot, I don't want the ambient lighting affect my photography. Okay. I don't want that green light affect my food photography. I don't want that warm lighting effect my food photography. All I need is consistent liking. Okay. The powerful lighting like this will overpower the ambience liking. So wherever I shoot, I will get consistent lighting. Okay. So that's why I love this. 11 of the brand I use the most is the Gods. There's 200, 300, 400 for its variation. The one I use the most is C 400. Okay. If you want to find this kind of product, you can just search and your on line store in your country, maybe you can type like this. Yep. And then the second question maybe is about lighting modifier. Okay. What is the lighting modifier I use the most is this one. This one is standard reflector for most of the lighting you purchase. Mostly, they include this one, it's lighting modifier. I use this one the most because this lighting modifier can give the really clear direction of our lighting. And I know that if you don't use any diffuser in front of the lighting, this lighting will be very harsh. That's why we need this one, okay? This one is five in one reflector. If you want to find in the marketplace, in your country, then you can just type like this five in one reflector. The one I use the most is the one that shapes like awful like this. I like this one is because when I want to shoot on the top of the table, it is really easy to put it. Okay. And there's no space here. If you use the round one. Yeah. Maybe if you want to put it on the table, there's so many space that the light can come through. Okay. So I like the awful one, like this and then the size. My favorite is the 120 centimeters. How I use this one is when I want to change the characteristic of the lighting. I can just put it in front of the lighting and I have control to make it softer or to make it more harsh. Okay. Further the lighting from its diffuser, the lighting will be softer. And if I make it close like this, the lighting here will be harsh. Okay. So that's how I have control about my characteristic of the lighting. Just define the distance between the lighting and the diffuser here. Okay. Yeah. And then the next one is this one. Okay? This one is reflector holder. Okay? I use this one mostly to hold diffuser here. If you want to find this one, you can also type in marketplace, you can easily find this one. And then there's two more, okay? The next one is Light Stan, okay? If you travel a lot, if you not shoot in your studio mostly, and you shoot in the other people's restaurant, I suggest that maybe you can choose the smaller one, because usually when I travel to another person's restaurant, I put this one in my luggage. Okay. So it is very handy and very easy to pack. If I want to find the smaller one, I don't want to have the stan that is more than 70 centimeters when you fold it like this. Okay. Yeah, this is about the light Stan. And then the final one, I will introduce you the trigger, okay? This is the trigger we put on our camera like this, okay? So when we shoot, the lighting will turn on, okay? This one is Godg x one, okay? If you want to find this one, you can also type here, what is the usage of this one? Actually, it connects our camera to our flash, okay? Like this, okay? If you put it on your camera, then every time you shoot, then the flash will turn on, okay? If you buy the Godocsx one, it automatically connect with this lighting because this is the transmitter. It already has the receiver in its machine, so you don't have to put anything here. But it connects automatically. Yeah, that's about the lighting. And then I'll see you in the next section. 3. Introduction of Camera: Is intersection? I will explain to you about the camera lenses and how I set my camera for my entire food photography. Yes, I will explain to you about the lenses first. The lens I use the most is only two lenses. Okay. The first one is the cannon, 50 millimeters, 1.8 The most affordable and high quality lenses you can find on the market. Even if you are not using cannon, you can still find this kind of lens in different brand, okay? 50 millimeter, 1.8 mostly using this Led. When I want to shoot on the top angle like this, when I want to shoot the front angle and 45 degree angle. Then the lens cannon macro, 100 millimeter two point. Okay. This is one of the most favorite lens for me all the time when I want to shoot food photography, okay? Because I really like the sharpness, the contrast, and the blur is natural. And then I really like the color produced by this lens, because in food photography, we want to make sure that the color is delicious. Okay, so I really like this one because this one produced a really good color for food photography. And then when shooting with this kind of lens, I suggest you to always use the lens foot. Because when you shoot with this kind of position, when you have foot right here and then you shoot, there's a possibility that this lighting will come directly to your lens. When this kind of situation happen, it will produce the flare in your image. Sometimes you are not aware. You see directly from your LCD here the result, it seems okay. But when you put this one on your lens, you will realize that why the color is much more beautiful. I put this lens, it's because it will reduce the flare in the image. When you shoot with this position, the lighting from this flash won't come directly to your lens. The color will be more beautiful and then the quality will much higher. Only using this one. Make sure when you shoot, you put this one okay. But if you still not have this kind of lens, you don't have to worry. Just use any lens you have. And start with another strategy that we will explain in the next section, okay? And then about the camera, okay? Camera I use. Actually this camera is already discontinued. I want to show you that you don't have to invest on the latest camera because actually the one that increase the quality of the lighting is your strategy. Camera is not the only one factor that make your picture look beautiful. Again, the more strategy you have, you will have more control about the result. I use Canon six. Actually, this camera is already discontinued because I want to show you that whatever camera you use, it's okay since you have the right strategy for the lighting. And another strategy we will explain to you later. Okay. And then I will explain to you also about how I set the camera because not all of you already have experience using DSLR camera. Then I will explain to you a little bit how I set this camera okay for food photography. Especially when you use flash like this or smaller flash because the color of the flash is already consistent. And then when you shoot with this kind of lighting, you will not have problem with the amount of light, okay? Because you will have control about the amount of lighting. You will not have problem amount of lighting because the lightning power is really high. So it makes your camera setting will be easier. Okay? There are so many settings here and the only one I change frequently while I shooting is only one. Okay? So it is very simple. When you look at the LTD, you will see right here, okay, There are so many settings, but I don't want you to be overwhelmed with the setting. I will explain to you one by one, the only three settings that will effect the amount of light of your result is shutter speed, the F number or aperture. And the final one is the O for the shutter speed. Seems I want to have freedom. Either I use it on tripod or I should hand held. I don't want to change many settings. Okay. Firstly, I use the shutter speed is one per 125. There is the setting that I use for all of my Photoshop. Okay. When I should hand held, one per 125 is really safe. Even if you shake a little bit, it's still okay because your picture will be sharp. And then the second setting is the O. I want to have the highest quality of the picture. So I said lowest possible. Okay, So I will not change the O, And the O is 100. The 1000 will produce the highest quality possible from your camera. Since you already have the high powered lighting here, then you don't have to worry about the. So I always shop using 100. The O, the only one setting I change frequently is the F number. F number is the aperture of your lens. Okay? For the aperture or F number, Usually I start with five to eight, okay? I start with five, okay? I'll start with 125. Shadow speed, 100 for the, 0.5 for the aperture. And I should, when the result is too dark, then I want to lower the O to four. But if the lighting of the result is too bright, so I increase the number. Okay. That is my decisions I made when I do the photo, that is the only one. Okay? It is pretty simple guys. Then I want to explain to you more about another setting for the picture pile, usually I use standard and then for the white balance, okay? For the white balance, usually I will use Kelvin. Kelvin number is around 5,000 5,500 okay? Actually, Kelvin is the color of the lighting. Okay? Since you already have the huge class, then I won't change my Kelvin for the entire smaller shut. Since I don't change my brand of the lighting, then I will not change my Kelvin. Okay, The Kelvin number for this time I should using 5,200 but I suggest you try your Kelvin 5000-5500 around that according to the brand of your lighting. Okay. Yep, that's easy. Okay. You just have to set this one and then the only setting you change is only F number. I have explained to you before how I decided. Okay, So that's how I set my DSLR camera and then explanation about the lenses. Okay, I'll see you in the next section. 4. Project 1: Choose the right Props & Compose Your Shot !: Okay guys, welcome to this section. And in this section, I will explain to you about the preparation of our picture of our Photoshop, Okay? Yeah, The first one is the background. Actually, this time we will shot darker mood and then I will use the wood here. Actually, this is just ordinary wood. And then I use nail to add texture in this wood here, so you can see the lines on the wood. So this is the texture that we created by ourselves using nails. Okay, Food photography is more about texture. Okay. Texture is very important to enhance the texture in our frame. Then I create more texture within our foot here. And then I will explain to you about another principle of setting our props. The first one is about the leveling. Okay? If you only put your foot here on the background, at the same level with all of the props here, okay? Sometimes you feel that there's something wrong in this picture, but you get confused what to do. Okay? The one tips that I suggest you is pay attention the leveling of your picture. Okay? So every single one is still on the same level. But sometimes I will configure it at three until four levels. Okay. So in this frame, I will set the leveling below our main product here. So I will use this one as leveling this chopstick also as the leveling, and also the napkin as the leveling. Okay? So I will use this one as the first level, and this one as the second level. This one as the third level. And the first level is our food. So okay, so complexity in our frame, But pay attention, the first one is the color. If I want to show the dark mode, then I want to make sure that the props that I use for leveling is still on the same mode. So I purposefully use the darker one. Okay. To make sure that the most colorful items in my frame is this plate. I also have tips for you about the one that you use for leveling. Usually, I use the smaller plate or smaller topping board as my tools for increase the level. Okay. And then for the size, usually I use the one that is around eight, 10 centimeters to 25 centimeters for the leveling. I don't use that the one that is huge, like 30 centimeters of plate, as my level, because it will make my food look small. Okay, if you want to make the food look large, then you have to use the smaller props. Okay, like this. Then I suggest you also prepare many props that made from glass like this, because it is very easy to use. You can use it in the dark mode like this, or you can use this one on the bright mood. Okay, just change the liquid. If you dark mode, then I use darker liquid. And if it right foot, maybe I can use milk. Okay. So it is very adjustable. I suggest to you that you can also impress on the glass prop that is made from clear glass like this. And then in the sin I also use another level, I use old chair like this. And then I put many props inside to add the texture in the back area of our food here. And then I also use old chair here. And then I add another texture in my frame like this one, the knife and black plate like this. Actually, this is my tools to add texture in our frame. Don't put pink knife on the dark wood background like this, because if the knife you use is bright pink, then it will reduce the focus of your food. So pay attention to this one. Yep, this is just to add more levels and add more texture in our rain. Okay. So yeah, this is how we set our background here, and then I'll see you in the next section. 5. Project 1: Light Your Food !: Okay guys, welcome to this section. Okay, this is important section. I would suggest you guys to pay attention multiple kinds, why we can make a beautiful food photography. One of the most important rule is the lighting. Okay, Here I will explain to you my most important and my most favorite lighting position for food photography. For food photography. The lighting I will start with is this kind of lighting. I'll explain to you, we use one until two lighting for most of my foot photography session. Yeah, one of the main lighting here that shape our foot here, that makes the contrast on our foot that it looks three dimensional is the back lighting here. Okay. The lighting we use for the back lighting is the stronger one. Here we used Esca 400. For the back lighting, weaker lighting we set as the front lighting, there is God, Kay, 200. The power is much lower than this one. The lighting setting we use is one per 16 for its power. Actually, we also use the same one per 16, but the lighting type is different. This type of lighting is was stronger than that one. If you guys have two same type of lighting, I suggest to you to increase the power for the back lighting one step above the lighting in front. Okay. I suggest you to use stronger lighting for the back lighting because the back lighting is the one that shapes your foot. Okay. Then explain to you the position of the back lighting here. Our foot to our lighting there. This distance is about 45 centimeter. And then the distance here to the lighting is about 1.1 meter. And then behave different between our background to our lighting. The distance here is about 45 to 50 centimeter. To make the lighting a little bit softer, then we use the diffuser in front of our lighting. Okay? So we set diffuser about 15 centimeter in front of our lighting. Okay, I will explain to you the difference between the three dimensional lighting and the liking that is too soft. If we move the diffuser to here, which means it is way closer to our foot here, it will make the liking much softer than this one. Okay, later I will have the shot and I will explain to you the difference. Okay, it makes a huge difference in our food, especially for its texture. The one that I suggest you is the position here. It's just like 15 centimeter in front of the lighting to make the texture looks really good. Okay, the second here, because we use the contrast lighting there, there will be so many dark shadow because of that contrast lighting. This main objective of the front lighting is to feel the shadow. We don't want the shadow is too dark. Then we will light up the shadow using this one. This one's main objective as the feel light. Then I will explain to you lighting position here. Distance between our foot here to the lighting is about 1.1 meter. Then the lighting yeah, we sat, is about 20 sentiment in front of our foot. Okay. So if we sat here, this is 1.1 meter. And we set the lighting 20 centimeter in front of our foot so we will make sure that this area, we still can lighten up this area so we still can get the detail. Okay. If we don't use this kind of lighting, then it will become very dark and it will be very hard to edit and bring the detail of this area. Okay? Yes. And then we also put the diffuser here, okay? The diffuser we set is about 20 centimeter in front of our lighting. And the other thing you have to pay attention is this back lighting will work if the point of interest of your subject is on the top of your plate. Okay? Because as you can see that in this product, the point of interest of this product is on the top of the foot. Okay? So we use the back lighting as our main light. Okay? Then in the other section, I will explain to you the main point of interest of our subject is in the front of our product, like this. Okay? If the main subject here, then we will change our lightning position and I will explain to you later. Okay. Since our product here, the main area is on the top, then back lighting will works very well. Okay. Yeah. There is my explanation about the lighting position. In the next section, I will explain to you the difference between the lighting that I like and the lighting that I will revise. Okay? Yeah. See you in the next section. 6. Project 1: How to Set 3D Back Lighting: I will show you. I will pass the shot and I will show you the result. Okay, Actually, if you see the foot here, I purposefully said, it looks pale. You can see the white noodle with the white chicken. Okay, the white chicken here and also on the white plate. Okay, Actually this is the condition that is quite challenging for a foot photographer because if we don't master the lighting, it will be very difficult to get the picture of this. Okay? But if you can get a very beautiful texture from this kind of object, I'm sure that you won't face any difficulties when you take product that is more beautiful than this. Okay. If you can take a beautiful texture from this one, then you won't face any problem if you take more colorful than this one. Okay, so yeah, let's do it. I will show you the result. Okay, then I will take it first. Okay, let's look at this. Okay guys, so as you can see here, okay, I will zoom in our food because this is our main subject here. As you can see that actually this is one of the most difficult thing to do when you shot right object with the right chicken here on the white plate. Okay, so to make it look three dimensional like this, you can see that there's enough highlight here. Shadow the texture of our food is really maximum. As you can see there are so many highlight and shadow the texture will be very feasible like this. This is the most advantage that we get from the back lighting, okay. Then if you look at our stream here, you can also see a beautiful high light here. It will also make the stream look three dimensional. This is the quality that we want to get, okay, from this kind of lighting. Okay, I'll show you more when we look closer here. Yeah, the back lighting will produce very beautiful highlight light. This, so you can see the texture very clearly. Okay? To make our object become three dimensional like this, we will need highlight and also enough shadows. Okay? Highlight shadow. Highlight shadow in our 7. Project 1: How to Set Soft Side Lighting: Okay guys, in this section I will show you the difference if we don't change the position of the stream. And then we take it from the top right corner for the back light. Okay, I will show you that the stream will not look as beautiful as the one that we put it here because we don't change the position. Then what you will see is if you put the string here and the lighting there, then the stream will become a shadow. You won't see any highlight in the stream. Okay, yeah, if we put the position like this, then the front of the swing, it will become a shadow. Okay, I will show you. Okay guys, so here's the result of the one that we have taken just now. As you can see that there will be too many shadow and very little highlight in our sing because if you put the lighting from the top right corner, but you don't change the position, that will increase the texture of the stream. Then yeah, it will become a shadow you can compare with the one that we have taken before. Yeah, this one is my favorite. As you can see that the texture of the stream is very feasible because lighting position we set from the top left corner will give a beautiful highlight. Okay, the one that I want to tell you is the lighting position is not wrong if you put the lighting on the top right corner. But if you put the highlight from the top right corner, then you have to move your thing. That will increase the texture of the thing. If the lighting from the top right corner, then I will move my stream maybe to here to make a beautiful highlight in my streamlight here, it will become a shadow. 8. Project 1: Compare Between 3D & Soft Lighting !: It is also very important to know which kind of lighting that you want to and which kind of lighting that you want to rearrange the lighting to make it better. Okay. So because if you know the difference between the three dimensional picture and the one that is who, so then you will always have a decision to rearrange the lighting or to settle with the picture. Okay. So yeah, this is the lighting that we haven't changed the shirt before. And then what makes the lighting, so we'll get rid of the three dimensional feel that we have taken before you make the lighting. So when sometimes you set the diffuser is much closer to your main subject here, okay? Just with this position, you will get rid of the three dimensional effect. It is very important to get the contrast lighting, in my opinion. If you change the back light position to here, okay? If I change the position to here, Okay. Yeah. Actually, the distance change its it normalize a side light instead of back lighting because I changed it to sight lighting. Okay. Instead of back lighting and I make it way closer than before, then if you set it like this, then there will almost no back lighting. It's sidelighting and you can see the difference. Okay? I will take one picture and I will show you the different you can notice which one lighting you want to make and which one lighting that I still want to refight. Okay. This is the lighting that I don't want and I will show you. You can see the highlight and shadow, but not as strong as the one that we have taken before. We taken just now that the lightning is too soft. This is the result that I usually want to repair because for me, the highlight and shadow is not too feasible. There's no much difference between highlight and shadow. I cannot get the three dimensional feel for this. If you compare to the one that we have taken before, you can look at this one, then it looks more three dimensional because the difference between highlight and shadow is very feasible. Okay. And then the second one, in my opinion, is if you already get this kind of image, that's contrast, you don't have to worry if you feel that the shadow is too hard. Because if you want to make it brighter, it is very simple. You just go to the light room and increase the shadow in light room. Then problem solve. But if you get this kind of image and you want to make it more three dimensional, you have to bring down the shadow in any area. And it's very difficult. Okay. So I suggest you to take the field like this one. If you want to, you feel the shadow is to death, then it is very easy. And if you will, just take you like five to 10 seconds to increase the shadow, but I repeat it once again. If you get this kind of result and you want to make it more three dimensional, it is very hard to bring down the shadow in many areas. Okay? So if I get the lighting like this, then I will try to rearrange my lighting so I will get contrast picture like this, the audit, okay? Yeah. 9. Project 1: The Principle of Lighting: Okay guys, in this section, I will show you another tips. Okay. The reason why I always put my lighting in the left corner, not the right corner, is if I always decide to put my lighting in the left corner, then my foot Stylus will always know where to put the garner. As you can see here. If I put the stream here with the lighting from the top left, then the stream is not look three dimensional. I don't like the string here because it doesn't look three dimensional. I don't get the maximum texture of the stream and the stream looks very small. Okay? By changing the position of your string will also make huge difference in your picture. Then we change the position here, as you can see here. By changing the position of the string, the same lighting. Then you can see here, the lighting come through the left corner and it will make the beautiful texture of the string. And you can see that there's beautiful highlight here, Okay? This is the position that will increase the texture of the string the most, okay? And then you can also make the adjustment for the string. I think the string looks too low. Then I also put something behind the string to make it taller. Actually, I put a bread in the behind of the string to make it taller, and also to make the string looks bigger. Okay? You don't have to always prepare the bigger string, but just changing the position, it will make much difference. Okay? Yeah. Mostly I always decide to put my back light from the top left corner of our foot because my foot stylist is already know. Then they will put the stream like this at the first place because the foot stylists already know that. I always put the position of the lighting is from the top left corner. What is the same position, but you put the lighting from the top right corner, then it will become a shadow and you won't get this beautiful picture of the string. Okay. So yeah, that's the one important thing that you have to consider. 10. Project 1: Set Your Camera & Shoot !: Okay guys, in this section, I will explain to you about how to set my camera, okay? Actually, when you shoot using the studio lighting, like this, camera setting is very easy, okay? Because you don't have to worry about another thing. You only have to care about only one setting, Okay? So for the set speed, I suggest to you, if you already set using this kind of lighting, just use one for 125 at the set speed for your entire shot. And then for the, so I suggest to you to use 100 because you already have such a powerful lighting. So you don't have to worry and you don't have to force your camera to increase the light. Okay. So the low I suggest to you use 100 because you already have powerful lighting there, then your camera will maximize the quality. Since the low only 100. And then for the F number, when I set like this, F number is the one that I change when I should. Then if it's too dark, then I lower my F number to bring more light. But when I shoot and it's too bright, so I will increase the F number until I get the amount of light that I want. Okay. And then for the right balance, I use alpine Set number of Elfin is 5,300 Okay. That's how simple I set my lighting. And most of them I don't change it at all and I only change my F number. Okay. And then here I macro lens, 100 millimeter and 2.8 I suggest you to use this lent because it's very important to make sure that you protect your color. Because if you don't use this one and if there's any flash light come through your lens, then the color will look more pale instead of you swoop like this and the color will be more beautiful. Yeah. You protect any source of lightning that will damage your picture? Yes, that's how I set my camera. And then let's move to the next section. 11. Project 1: The Result !: Okay guys, just now, we have already taken our picture here. I suggest to you to take as many angle as possible, for example, like portrait and landscape. And you can also take farther away further angle, portrait and landscape. Okay? And then here's the raw picture preview. Okay guys, and then I will show you about before and after the editing so you can see the comparison. So here you go. Okay. If you guys want to know about the step by step, how to increase the sharpness of the food, and then how to enhance the color to make a most beautiful color as possible, but still looks more natural. Okay. In the next section, I will explain to you step by step, how we ended this picture. To get the most out of it, okay? To increase the quality and then to enhance its color to make it a beautiful one. I'll see you in the next section. 12. Project 1: Bonus Section – Preparation of Levitation: Okay guys, welcome to this bonus section. And in this section we will explain to you about how we take the levitation. Okay, so we want to make our plate here floating like this. Okay, so here, the preview of the result. So you can imagine what is the result we want to create. Okay, here you go. Okay, And then to place our plate here. Okay, You can hold it like this, Take the first picture. Yeah. You don't have to worry about the hand here, because we will take both with the hand like this. You can take the first picture and with the hand like this and take the second picture. We can combine and remove the hand. Then we also place like this for the second one, we also take the picture like this. We can also remove the hands. Then our plan, we will also put Sri floating like this and then also some greens here. Yeah, that's how we plan our reputation. Then I will explain to you about the lighting here. The lighting we use, we are using Docs 200 K. If you want to find this product, you can fight in the marketplace like this. The special for this lighting is if you want to shoot something like moving very fast, like we want to like cure some water. We want to move like some greens like this. To make it, you have to set in your camera, the shutter speed above 200, above 300. Ordinary lighting cannot do that. You have to meet a lighting that support high sin speed, Dx 8,200. Is one of them. Because I only have one lighting car, one, we only use one lighting here. The lighting position is the lighting there is slightly ten centimeter in front of our foot here, and then the distance between our foot to our lighting is about 1.2 meter to die. The lighting, we put the diffuser about 45 centimeter in front of our lighting, and then this is also important while shooting the levitation concept like this. I want to make sure that the ones that are levitating is very clear and I don't want my background disturb all the things that are levitating. So with the lighting here, I block, the lighting in this area will become darker. So anything that we set here will be very clear and very visible because the background will block here, so it will become very dark. Okay. Yes, that's how we set our lighting. Okay, Let's do the pots. 13. Project 1: Bonus section – Levitation Camera Tips & Photoshoot Session: Okay guys, this is my extra tips for you while shooting levitation. And sometimes it's kind of hard to imagine like the position of each levitating item, but this is just my tips. So I use my meal box here and I cut it, so I will get a clear plastic like this, so you can just slide it to your camera and then you can paint it. Usually, I will draw my lines and then I will draw every single items. So I still can't imagine the position. Okay. The first one is the dark plate here, so I draw it like this. Okay. So it makes me easier to take the next one because I want the next one on the top of the dark plate. So yeah, it is easier to plate. Okay. The second one, the position is like this. Yeah. And then you can start to take another picture and the one we take after this is the string. Okay? So it is very easy to put the string on the top of your plate if you draw it like this. Okay? Then another fidating items, like you can put oil, the bro, or maybe greens and other items. So it is very easy to still remember each position of its element, but you want to combine. Okay, Yes, that is my symbotics. And see you in the next section. 14. Project 1: Introduction of Photoshop: Okay, hello guys. Well, in this video I'll make a video tutorial on how to edit or combine Levitation Photos. Guys, here I'll be using Adobe Photoshop while I've opened Adobe Photoshop on my computer. Well, this is the main view when we've opened Db Photoshop. Well, editing photos that fly like this guys, we'll edit them in Dob Photoshop. Well, when it's open, it looks like this. We can just go straight to the file, then click file, then click open. Well, here you can just choose which photos you have chosen to be your levitation photos. Incidentally, these are the photos that I have selected. Well, I'll choose the main photo for the levitation photo. Well, the main levitation photo is this one, guys. When it has been selected, you can directly click open here guys. Now when you click open, the one that has been selected will immediately go to the few or in the B Photoshop editing area like this guys. Well, now I'll explain what tools we'll use to edit levitation photos in Db Photoshop guys. Well, first the tool that we'll use is the move tool guys. Well, the use of this tool is that we can move objects that we selected on the layer that we've selected. Guys, for example, like this, well, we can directly move it to the layer we've selected. Now as another example, you can just control on your keyboard. Now the function of control on this keyboard is that you can direct select the layer, then you can reduce and enlarge the layer that you've selected. Guys, no, to reduce or enlarge it with precision guys. You can also click Shift on your keyboard and then you can drag it right away. Well, that will make your object or your layer become large and small with precision. If you don't use shift, it's possible that your photos won't be precise like this guys. Okay. Well guys, the second tool that we'll often use is the spot healing brush tool. Well, the use of this tool is to remove objects that we don't really need to be in our photos. For example, I'll copy the layer first, the trick, you can just click control J on your keyboard when you selected the layer you've selected. Here guys, the use of the spot healing brush tool is like this guys, I'll remove this object using the spot healing brush tool. For example, Like this. You first select the layer you've selected, then you can immediately delete the object that you want to remove. We have a look guys, it's immediately gone guys. Well that's an example of the use of the spot healing brush tool guys. Well, the tool that I'll often use is the clone stem tool. The use of this tool is to select images or textures from photos that are already here. You can immediately move them to another area, for example. Now here I'll control J again on the keyboard as a copy layer here. Well, for example when we use the clone stem tool, you can just click out and point the cursor or circle to the area you want to copy. Well, I'll copy an area like this here. You can directly click on your keyboard. Then you left click on your mouse, then you can move the object you've copied. Now you can see now this is the object that has been copied from the previous O. Now we can immediately slide it. We'll copy the area from the one we've chosen. Well, that's it guys. That's an example because the clone stamp tool is quite often used in levitation editing guys. This is an example guys, you can directly drag the object that you've copied here guys, Well, next we'll use the pain bucket tool. The use of this tool is that we can directly color the object as a whole guys, For example here I'll use a new layer. Now you can click this new layer in the lower right corner. Well this is the object guys, or you can also just control shift guys here. You can just click okay. It will bring up a new layer. Well, for example guys, the use of the pain bucket tool is here. I'll color it with white on an empty layer. Well we'll be able to color it right away. Then the display of our layer will be white as a whole guys. Well that is the use of the pain bucket tool, for example guys, to color raw objects or something like this. We've copied the object from the background that we've selected. We select the pain bucket tool to one color that is black. Well, what will change is the color we choose, guys, that's if we don't use a new layer in the pain bucket tool for example, like this will change its color, is the color that we've selected. For example, we'll change the color white in our image. Well, we'll select it in black. Then what we'll change is only the black color, blue color, white color, hand color like this. It won't change. Well, that's why we'll use a new layer If for example we use the pain bucket tool overall. Next is the brush tool guys. Well, the use of this tool is the same as the pain bucket tool. However, the difference is that the brush tool will only change the color of the drag object guys. For example, like this. Well, it will only change the color that we've selected guys. Well, how to bring up the circle? What should we click on? We can directly click Caps, Lock on our keyboard. Well, because the initial appearance is usually like this guys. Well, suppose we really need a circle as a benchmark. You can just click Capslock like that guys. Well, you can directly select then if you can change the color of your layer guys. We just like drawing guys here. I'll explain the use of the brush tool when we are going to apply this levitation photo editing guys. Well, for example here I'll choose a different image. Okay, as an example here, I'll choose this photo. Well, you can just go to File Explorer, then you can directly select which photo you want to insert. Then you can directly drag it to your Photoshop editing area. Well, it will appear instantly like this guys. Then you can just click Enter. Well, this is an example when we'll use the brush tool guys here. When I've selected a different photo from our first object photo here, I'm going to use a layer mask guys. Well, what is the use of this tool? The purpose is to change our layer without changing the main screen that we'll select. For example here, all color using the pain bucket tool, using black overall guys. Well here I can directly apply it like this. As a result, our main layer will disappear guys. I'll show it again. Well, here I'll use the pain bucket tool. Then our main view will disappear. Why? Because we choose black guys indirectly. Logically, it will delete our first layer or the layer we've selected. Well, this without changing our main layer. Why? Because the main layer that we've selected, it's still here guys. The main few. Well, the function of this brush tool, we can directly click white color on this color logically because we've colored it with black here, or it is gone indirectly. Now when we select white and then we brush here, it will bring up the black color that we've deleted guys, for example, like this. We can directly bring up the object from the main layer or the new layer that we selected using the brush tool guys. Well, those are the use of the tools that we'll use in levitation photo editing guys. Okay, now we're going to the editing area as a whole guys. 15. Project 1: Remove the Hand on Editing !: Well okay guys, after I've explained what tools we'll use, let's go back to editing. Well, I'll edit from the beginning guys. Well, this is the main view. Well, I'm going to get rid of this hand object since it's already really annoying. Then we can immediately select the photo in this hand. On the top of the hand. It's gone guys. We just click on our file, our file manager, then we drag it to our editing, well it's going to be like this guys. Then we click Enter. Well, this is the first photo. Well, we'll take the object from here guys, how to do it. The trick is that we can directly match it by setting the opacity to low. Well, like this guys. Then we'll fit it using the move tool or we'll fit it in the bowl. Object, So that we can directly select the part of the hand that doesn't have hands on the second layer. Well, if it's proper, we can immediately increase the opacity again. Then we'll use the layer mask again. If it's done, we can immediately change the color to black. Then we'll use the paint bucket tool guys, we're going to spill it onto the layer mask that we've added on our layer guys. Well, as a result, the photo will disappear. Then we'll select or change the color again to white. Then we'll show it again using the brush tool guys. Well, it's like this guys. Well, we can go straight to the brush tool right here in this section. Well, for example, if it doesn't fit, we can move it directly using the move tool until the object from the pole looks good. Well, this is what the move tool is for guys. We can also tidy it up by deleting the objects that we've chosen using a different color. That is the black again guys that objects that we don't want to delete can appear again guys. Well, okay, the hands are gone, right guys? Now when the hands are gone, like this guys, we can just bring up the plate right here guys. The trick is to open the file and then we select the photo that only shows the plate guys. Well, we can directly drag, then we can directly drag it to our view or editing area. Then we fit it here. If it's not quite proper, we can immediately adjust the opacity so that the photo can fit right here. Okay, well here the object of this might be proper. We can immediately increase the opacity again guys. Well, we can immediately create a layer mask again in the layer we just added. We can directly paint bucket tool again until the image is gone. Then we select the brush tool, we change the color. Don't forget, these are my tapes guys for example, if we want to brush but the object is missing guys because we already use the paint bucket tool in black. Well, you can just copy this layer directly. We control J up, then we delete the layer mask. Well then we write click the layer mask and delete the layer mask. As a result, the main photo of the image that we've previously overwritten, this one will appear clearly, well, so that we don't get confused, we can directly set the opacity here. Okay, after that, we can immediately select the brush tool. Then we click the layer mask below it. Well, we can directly use the brush tool here easily because we've already seen the object. Now we can directly use the brush tool easily because we've seen the object on this layer. Well, those are tips from me guys. Well, here we can just use the brush tool on the plate guys. Well, if we've selected everything on the plate, we can just delete the chit layer earlier guys. Well, it's like this. 16. Project 1: Remove the Scallions on Editing !: Well then I'll add the leak object here guys. Well, we can immediately repeat the process earlier. We go to the file, then we select the scallions object here, then we track it. Well, it's like this, guys, here are scallions. Okay, now when there are scalions here, we repeat again. We can immediately reduce the opacity so that it looks like this. Well, I'll add scalions at the bottom here guys, because in my opinion, it will create a good picture guys. Well, here we can immediately increase the opacity again, guys. Then we create another layer mask paint bucket tool with black color. Well if it's gone we can just click control J as a cheat layer. Then we delete the layer mask again, we reduce the opacity. Then we click the layer mask at the bottom as the selection. And then we can directly use the brush tool with white color guys, have a look for the white color. Well, here is a plate. I don't want to get hit by the plate. If it's done, we can immediately delete it from the cheat layer. While I've added scalions at the bottom, I want to add scalions at the top. Guys will, we can directly click the file. We click the Scalion. We again, we click Enter, then we reduce the opacity with it. Again, the Scalion object that we want to add guys. Well here I want the scalions to look like this guys. It disappears like this guys, I'm going to put it here. Then we add the opacity again. Then we click Layer Mask. Then we use the paint bucket tool in black color guys. Well as a chat layer. Then we click control J. We delete the layer mask again. Then we see again the layer mask at the bottom. If you've deleted the layer mask, we can just first reduce the opacity to around 50. Then we select the layer mask again at the bottom. We can directly use the brush tool. Then we choose white color. We can select the scallion that we want to appear in this photo, guys, I want it to be enough to just select the lower leaves. Well, when it's done, we can immediately delete the image above. Then we can see how it turns out guys, more or less when it's like this, I want to add a shrimp object here. And also here guys. Well, okay, let's get straight to the file again. Then we select the shrimp object guys. We immediately drag it to our editing view, the shrimp photo. As usual, we can immediately reduce the opacity to around 50. Then we'll choose which object, we'll add the shrimp. Two guys. Well, when we are in the position we want, we can immediately increase the opacity again. We click Layer Mask, then we use the paint bucket tool. In black color guys, we first select the color to black. Then we go to the paint bucket tool, we immediately apply it to the layer mask guys. While as another example, we control J so we can copy the photo that we are going to brush guys. We're going to delete it first, delete the layer mask here. Then we return to the layer mask selection, whose layer is below us. Then we can directly brush to the object that will add guys. Well here the object is a stream guys. Don't forget to click on the opacity. We'll reduce it first for the layer that functions as the cheat layer. Well let's go back to the layer mask below. Then we'll brush using white color. Don't forget to use white. Well, here we can brush the part of the stream that will show. We'll also select the water droplets to beautify our objects. Skies. Well, more or less the shrimp will look like this guys. Well, here, I'll add more already. Right here guys. We can go directly to the file. Then we select the image of the shrimp. Then we drag again, Click Enter, then we'll set the layer on top. Then we lower the opacity. Then we can see which shrimp we'll choose. Well, I'll select the shrimp guys. Well, I'll put it here in this section guys. As usual, we increase the opacity again. Then we create a layer mask, then we change it to black. Here we use paint bucket tool on the layer mask while it's gone. Then we control J as a cheat layer here, we'll delete the layer mask. Then we reduce the opacity. Then we click the layer mask again at the bottom of this one. Well, if you finished, we can directly select, using the brush tool, we'll select the shrimp again, Don't forget to change it to white here. Okay, we're going to brush the shrimp guys. Well, the results, you will see the shrimp are like this guys. Well, now it's done. Our photo is finished. We've produced a levitation photo, more or less like this guys. If it's done, you can go directly to the file and then we can directly save it first if you want to save the PSD or file from the document we've created here. Okay, well if you just want to save the photo, we can go directly to the file and then save guys. You can directly click Save Control on your keyboard. Well from here you can directly select Jpa. Let's say we can name it with photo leftitation shrimp. Well you can directly save, then you select the image quality option. Here I select the maximum quality, then click okay. Well that's it guys. For the strim leftition photo tutorial, we can immediately move to the next foot. Thank you guys. 17. Project 2: Choose the Right Props & Compose Your Shot !: Okay guys, welcome to this section. In the section before, we have already taken the object, that it's point of interest is on the top of the object, okay? But this time we will take this one in this object, okay? The point of interest is not on the top, it's in the front of the object. So we will use the different kind of lighting for this one to make sure that you get the best lighting for this one, okay. The best lighting for this one is the side lighting, which I will explain to you in the section after this. And I will keep reminding you that the simple rule is if the point of interest of your product is on the top, then back light is the one that will create the most beautiful texture of your product. But if the face or the point of interest of your product is in the front like this, then side lighting will be the best. Okay. Just two rules for me for food photography. Okay. Yeah. And then for the planning of the props here. Yes. Use this one as our main subject. And then I have one tips for you about how to plan your crops here. One of the most important thing is I suggest that you limit the number of color in your background settings. Because if you want to take the dark mode wooden thing like this, if you put something that is very bright on the back of your background, then you will distract anyone who looked at the picture. Okay, for me, maybe I don't want to have more than three color in my background actually. This one is also my favorite because I can do leftling with small chopping board. I think it's also about like 18 centimeter for the chopping board in the session before we do the leveling on our main subject. But you can also do the leveling on objects surrounding. Okay? So as simple as this is the prop that you want to put behind your main subject, this is your main subject. You can also do the leveling on this back area. Okay, Leveling is not only your main subject, but also you can do the leveling on your prop. You can always have choice to change the texture of this coconut instead of you are placing your coconut like this. Then you can place it on some box like this to do the leveling. We can get different level of this object. Also, you always have choice to change the texture of this coconut and you can change the shape like this to make sure that you have different texture here. Yeah, I also make sure that I have small wooden spoon like this. It is very useful. This time I put the tea here. Okay. And for another ingredients, I also have the cinnamon here. So it also gives beautiful texture in our frame here, but it doesn't add any more color. Okay? So I make sure that I limit the number of color in my settings, but I make sure that I get the most shape and texture. Okay, So I keep thinking about how to add more shape, how to add different texture, but I make sure I don't add color because any new color will distract our focus. Okay, yeah, that's some tips and then I'll see you in the next edge. 18. Project 2: Light Your Food !: Okay guys, welcome to this section. And in this section, I will explain to you about my lighting technique for the object. That the point of interest of the object is in the front area of this object. Okay, like this beverage. My lighting for this kind of object is using the side lighting. You can either use only one lighting or two lighting. Okay? So for this line, I will use one lighting here. If you use one lighting, then it will make a beautiful transition between high light and shadow. Okay, So I want to create that highlight on this area and slowly become a shadow in this area for the lighting position. I said lighting slightly in front of our product here, the lighting is just 10 centimeters in front of our product. And then the distance between our product here to the lighting is about 1.2 meter. And we have the fuser about 20 centimeter in front of our lighting. Okay, I suggest to you that you try to take the lighting that is at the same level with our product to make sure that we get the beautiful texture in this area. If we make the lighting higher, then the transition sometimes won't look that beautiful. Then I also use this black board. I blocked this area to make sure that the ones that have beautiful lighting is our main subject here. This is how we set the lighting for this kind of product. And then I'll see you in the next section. 19. Project 2: Set Your Camera & Shoot !: Okay guys, welcome to this section. In this section, I will explain to you about our plan here. So I already have my assistant here. And then we will make the motion like this. So we will pour coconut milk into the K. Okay. And then I will explain to you about my camera setting first. Okay? So are you still remember about how I set my camera? Okay. The only one that I change is only F number if I should using the flash like this. Are you still remember how I set the set of spit one per 125? Okay. That is the shadow speed that I don't change for entire of my photo shoot unless I want to shoot Hycin speed. If I don't shoot using Hycin speed and I don't need to shoot any fast motion, then I will stick to 125 for the shadow speed, then for the O is still the same, 100 as the O. Then since I only use one light thing, if I use the same settings as the station before the session, before I use six as the F number, it will be darker because there's only one light thing. Then if the result is dark, if I want to the picture, then I have to lower the F number. This time I said four as the F number. Okay. And the Calvin or hit Ballon is still the same, The Y, Allan is Calvin, 5,300 Okay. That's how I said. And then I'll see you in the next section. 20. Project 2: The Result !: Okay, that is we have already done our photo shoot and then I will preview to you. Here's the raw result, okay, and then here's the preview comparison between before and after the editing, okay? And then if you guys curious about how we edit it, and then in the next section, I will explain to you in detail, step by step, how we do the post processing or editing and see you in the next section. 21. Project 2: Lightroom Editing Session: Okay. Okay. Hello everyone. Now guys, we have arrived at the photo in this basic D SLR chorus guys. Well, now I just want to crop this photo guys in the crop menu. Well guys here you can directly adjust the tilt guys. Well, the image is tilted, right? So I will adjust the tilt of this photo so that it doesn't tilt anymore at -1.58 degrees. Okay. Now the image is no longer tilted guys. I immediately click the tick. Well, we can go directly to the light menu guys. Well, in the light menu, I want to immediately set the highlight. I didn't set the exposure, the contrast, I immediately set the highlight for this photo guys here. I will reduce the highlight to -50 guys. Okay, after that I will add the shadows. The shadows here. I'll add around plus 48. After that, for brightness, instead of selecting exposure, I'll choose to increase the white. For this photo, I will add about plus 63 guys. For the black here, I will add by around plus seven. Why? Because it's more dominant than this image. There are a lot of dark colors. Right, guys? Or black. I want to bring out the black color. If it's done, we can immediately select the color menu. Then here, I will reduce the temperature guys for this picture. Why? Because this picture, I think, is a bit too warm. Well guys, you can set the temperature of your images. If indeed your images are a bit too warm, then you can immediately reduce the temperature. On the other hand, if the image in your photo is too cold, then you can immediately increase the temperature. Well, here I go. Straight to the color mix next to grading. Well, I immediately choose the orange color because this time the image has a lot of orange color guys. Well, here I will reduce the saturation for the orange color. Then I will choose yellow. In this yellow, I'll also reduce the saturation After that, we can immediately click done here guys, because I didn't set the red, green, light blue, dark blue, purple and pink color because in this picture there is no such color guys. Well, I can just click Done. We can directly go to the Evac menu Guys. In the Evac menu, I will add the texture guys, texture. I'll just add a little, then I immediately reduce the vignette guys. In the vignette, I will reduce it to -24 guys. Well, if the get has been reduced here, I'll reduce the midpoint to zero guys. Then for the roundness and also the feather, I will also make it right align guys up to plus 100. Why? Because the get is only on the edges of our image. If we adjust the midpoint, the roundness and the feather, it will give the impression that the get that we reduce will spread over our image guys. Okay, then here I will go to the Details menu guys. In the Details menu, there is the sharpening. The sharpening is sharpness. Well, here I will add sharpening to 120. Well, if you have added the sharpening, then your picture will look sharper. But the minus is that your picture will have more ends or crack. Therefore, I will counter the sharpening using the masking. I will also add the masking here, around 70. Okay, If the masking has been added, then I will also add the noise reduction. Well, the function of the noise reduction is to reduce noise in your images. Well, here I add about 33. Well actually for this picture, the editing is finished guys, this is the before and this is the after guys. It's a bit more memorable and also tells a lot more about the picture because we added the vignette guys and the pictures are also better. The colors are more pop up, right? This is the before and this is the after. If you subscribe to do B light room, you can go directly to the masking menu guys here. I will also use the masking menu to add an impression of our pictures guys. Well, here I want to use a radial gradient. Then I will select only this part of the glass. For our selection guys, I want the selected one to be on the outside of this glass. Therefore, I will add an inverter here. Well, the selected image is on the outside of this glass. Now if it's done, we can go directly to the color menu. Here, I will reduce the saturation guys, just a little minus ten. If it's done, we can immediately click the tick. Then for this picture, I want to reduce the saturation at the bottom of this glass. Why? Because it looks a bit more colorful, right? And it's a bit annoying. This is the reflection of the T in this glass. Well, I'll be masking it here using a brush at the bottom of it. If it's done here, I will open the color menu, then I will reduce the saturation guys. Well, if it's done, this is the finished image guys, this is the before and this is the after guys. Well, actually for the editing it's quite simple guys. You don't need to do masking, it's already proper guys. You only need to use this form. Use correctly guys that the picture becomes more optimal for me. News guys, just download it directly on the App Store or play store on your smartphone. Why? Because it's free guys. Well, if you have followed step by step from the beginning, you can directly select the share. I can hear directly export to camera rule. Just wait for the rendering, then your picture will be immediately available in your gallery. Well that's all for the Dobltroom Editing video tutorial in this food. I thank you and see you later guys. 22. Project 2: Bonus Section – Preparation of Levitation & Photoshoot: Okay guys, welcome to this bonus section. And then after you have already set this kind of setting, it is such a waste if you don't try to do the levitation. Okay, before we destroy the setting, then just literally destroy it by shooting many levitation pouring. And let's mess it up. Okay. So my first plan is I want to use this jug of milk and then I want to make it fly like this. So I take it wise, this is the first frame I take. And the second frame I take is I pull the jack like this so we can remove the hand. Then after that I will also make the levitation using the coconut like this. So we just put it in many positions. So one of my tips is it will be nice if we do the levitation with different kind of texture for the objects. Okay, we already have the liquid and then we already have the bigger texture of this coconut. And then the last one, I purposefully prepare the coconut flakes like this. This is smaller texture so it will make the levitation looks rich and looks beautiful. Okay, so there is the big object, small object like this and then also the liquid one will pull in the glass. Okay, so yeah, that's how we plan for levitation and let's destroy the scene. 23. Project 2: Bonus Section - Photoshop Editing Session: Okay guys, we've entered into the next di guys in our classic DSLR chorus. Guys, we now I've entered the initial few of Adobe Photoshop guys, Well now you can directly click the file. Then click open. And guys, you can just select the photo that you really want to edit. Well, now these are some photos I've selected. And I want to just choose the photos guys here. I select this photo, then click open, then it will look like this guys. Well, okay guys. This is what it looks like when we insert the photo into B Photoshop. Okay. Well, here I have photos like this guys. Well, here guys. I want to remove the hands of my photo assistant who is holding the glass guys that his hands are not visible. I want to overwrite this image with another image guys. Well now I want to open a file Explorer. Then I'll insert an image that will indeed overwrite the hand drawing earlier. Guys, if the object is like this, you can just write, click on it, then you rotate 90 degrees clockwise, then equate it with frames from the photos guys. Well, here we just click Enter. Well, it's unproposed that when we photo shoot, we take photos that are held above and also held below y so that we can get the image smooth. The glass object will float. Okay guys, Now here in a new layer, let's reduce the opacity first guys. Okay, if it's done we can just fit the object right away. The glass object fits perfectly guys, so that we can remove the object from the hand guys. Okay, if it fits, we can immediately increase the opacity. Again, the guys here, I'm going to add a layer mask. Add layer mask. We'll spell with black color guys so that the image disappears here. I'll make a chat layer by copying and pasting this layer control J. Then we delete the add layer mask. Then we'll reduce the opacity guys. Well, okay, if it's done, we just need to brush the hand on the layer mask earlier below it with white color guys. Here we are, just brush guys. Okay guys, the brush part is done. We can just delete our help layer here guys. Here, there's the shoulder left guys. Well, here I'll also overwrite it again with a photo that doesn't have a shoulder on the right side. Okay, here we open the file. Then here I add this photo which doesn't have a shoulder object. Here, I rotate 90 degrees. Then I first make the same with the frame. Okay, Then here I'll reduce the opacity. So I can see in this section whether it is fits or not. Okay, if the opacity fits, I can immediately return the opacity to 100. Then here I'll add layer mask. Then here I'm going to spill the paint bucket tool with black until it's gone. Then I'm going to brush using white on the shoulders in the body area of our photo assistant. Okay guys, because here the color is different between this and this one, so that the part that we are brushing looks brighter. Guys, we'll add brightness and contrast guys. While in the brightness and contrast, I'll reduce the brightness to -63 Here I'm going to click out. Then in the middle of this, I'll drop it down guys, this brightness and contrast only applies to the layer below it. Guys, it doesn't interfere with the other layers. The image that we brushed guys, the color is a bit the same. Okay, guys, if this area is finished, then here I'm going to add this milk spill to the bottom here. I'll repeat the previous step. We go to the File Explorer, then we select the photos we want to include. Let's rotate it guys. If it's still landscape, then we'll fit the file. Okay, let's click Enter then. Guys, for the opacity here, I'll reduce it first. Well, if it's done I'll paste the glass lip area with the new photo glass lip guys. Okay guys, if it's done we can increase the opacity again. Then. Here, I'll add later mask. Then I spill it with black using the paint bucket tool until it disappears. Then here I'll use a cheat layer by click control J to the previous layer. Then delete the layer mask. Then guys, here I'll reduce the opacity. Well just as a cheat layer, let's go back to the previous layer mask. We'll use the white brush tool in the area of the lips of this class guys. Okay guys, if we've brushed guys, we can just delete the cheat layer guys. After we brush in the movement of the flowing water. I slightly raise the glass guys. I raised it up a bit. Well then I'll add ornaments of falling coconut guys. Well here I'll add this photo. Object guys guys, just open file Explorer guys, select the photo, then you drag and enter. Then if it's still landscape, you can just rotate the clockwise 90 degrees you fit the frame well, if it's done, just click Enter the guys, you can immediately reduce the opacity to find the position you want. Okay, if you finished you can immediately increase the opacity. Again here I'm going to add layer mask. I'm going to spill black in the paint bucket tool until it's gone. Then you can just copy control J, delete layer mask. This is actually just a cheap layer guys so you can immediately reduce the opacity. Okay, then back again to the layer mask below. You can directly brush with the brush tool with white color. Okay guys, if that's all you can just delete the cheat layer. Okay guys here, I'll also add coconut ornaments that are still white so that they look like falling from above. In the same way, guys, I'll add it using File Explorer. Here I'll select the object that I want. Then we, if it's still landscape, we can directly rotate 90 degrees. We make the frame fit guys. Okay, the frame, we can immediately reduce the opacity. Then we'll position it according to what we want guys. Okay guys, if you've already get the position you want, you can immediately add the opacity again until it is full. Then guys just add layer mask here, then spill it with black color using the paint bucket tool until it disappears. Then you can control J as your chat layer, we reduce the opacity. Let's go back to the previous layer mask, then here our brush using white color guys on this white coconut area guys. Okay guys, if you've brushed on the coconut area guys, you can just delete the help layer guys. Well then it will be like this guys. We. Okay guys, if all the coconuts have been brushed here, I'll add brightness contrast guys here, I'll reduce the brightness to -63 Then you can directly click out, then you can move it down. The brightness and contrast only applies to the layer below. Guys, I still want to add areas of falling coconuts. Guys, I'll go to File Explorer. Then you select the photos that you want to include. If it's still landscape, you can just 90 degrees close, then you can fit the frame that we have. Then here guys, click Enter. Well guys, you can immediately reduce the opacity. Then you can adjust it to the position you want. Well, okay guys, if you finish, you can immediately increase the opacity. Again, the guys, you can directly add layer mask, spill it with black using the paint bucket tool. Then here guys click control J, delete layer mask which serves as help layer guys back again to the layer mask below. You can brush using the brush tool with white color guys, don't forget for the help layer. The opacity must also be reduced so that we can immediately see which object we are going to brush. Okay, if you've brushed the coconut, you can just delete the help layer here. Okay. Guys, if it's done actually for this editing, combining pictures in food is finished, guys, There are movements like pouring milk guys from above then spilling into this glass. Then for the coconuts areas, it's a bit falling down guys. Well, now we're going to save. You can directly click the file, then you can directly click Save here Guys. You can directly select Jack Guys Guys, you can directly click Save here. I usually use Maximum Quality guys. Okay, then wait. Then the file will be sent directly to the folder that you selected earlier. To save a file in the form of a Photoshop file, you can directly click file. Then you can directly click Safe. Well, here guys, you can directly select the Photoshop PSD guys, select the folder you want, then click Safe Guys. Well, here you can directly save for saving file from the Photoshop file, it will be sent directly to the folder that you selected earlier. Well, that's all for the editing guys. We immediately move to the next picture. Thank you very much guys. 24. Project 2: Bonus Section - Lightroom Editing Session: Well, okay guys, we have arrived at this Levitation photo. Guys on the basic SLR course. Well, for editing doby light room for this photo, we can just follow step by step according to the previous one guys, that is, first of all, we're going to light. Now for the light menu, I will reduce the highlights guys, I'm reducing the highlights here guys to -50 maybe. Then for the shadows, I will add guys around the number 52. Then for the brightness guys, for the white, I will add here around plus 60 guys. Well, after the white here is the black guys, the black will change the image to black guys. For example, if we add it, the black color will be brighter guys. If we reduce it, the black color will be darker. Therefore, here I will add the black color, but just a little so that the black color of this image looks a bit more outward. Okay, and it's brighter. Well, if it's done guys, those are the rules of lighting. On the light menu. Guys guys, we are going to the color menu. Well, in the color menu, I want to reduce the temperature, guys, but only a little at minus four. Well, that's for the color section guys. If I get the temperature I want I'll go straight to the Evac menu here guys. Well, in the Evac menu there is such a thing called texture guys. Well, the texture will add a solid texture to our object or image guys. For example, if you get an image that has lines or textures like this guys. Now if we add a texture, the texture will increase guys. Therefore, here I will add about nine guys. Therefore, here I also want to add drama to the picture using vignette guys get. I will reduce it by about -23 For the midpoint guys here I will make left align so that the Fgnette we have added is even more interesting. Guys spread forward. That's it. Well, for the roundness or the range of the gett we have added, usually the vignette is only on the edges of the image. We therefore we will add the roundness so that it spreads widely on our image. It's softer guys for the gett for the ad. I will also add the thickness to the right alignment guys. Well, if it's done we can immediately move to the details guys. Well, in the detail you can directly add the sharpening. Well, here I will add about 120 guys. Well, when we increase the sharpness of our image, the image will be cracked or a lot of ends. Well, therefore we will counter with the masking guys here. I'm going to add the masking around the '70s for the noise reduction. I will also add guys here just a little so that the noise in our image is reduced guys. Well, that's for the detail section guys. Now actually our picture has done guys, it's better than the previous one. This is the before and this is the after. It's better guys, it's brighter better. And also the objects or colors around the object are more visible than before. Guys before, like this, the picture hasn't come out yet. But guys here, I will also add a feature called the masking guys which you can get if you subscribe the blight room guys, Well, you can go straight to the masking here. Then I will use select Subject. Well, the select subject will immediately select the subject you choose. Well, now I've selected the subject here, the red color is the selected subject. Well, I want to infer. Well, I'll just select the outside, guys. Well, now I want to reduce the shadows on the outside. Here it is, guys. I want the shadows in our picture to be even darker guys. If it's done, I will also adjust the color guys. Here I will reduce the saturation so that the color of our object that comes out is only the color of our main object. The colors here guys. We will make it a bit more mute guys to match the dark mut theme that we're editing this time guys. Okay, that's it guys. After that we will use the evac guys. Well, in the eva, the texture I will improve it even more guys. Actually it's finished for the masking because we got the picture we wanted guys. This is the before the picture is still colored. Just like that guys. It's lacking. I think there are still too many clashing colors between the objects in the section and in the section guys. Well, after we add it, the color becomes more focused on our main object guys. Well, those are the tips for the masking guys. Well, now I want to add another masking using a linear gradient. Well, here I draw a straight line guys in the section, then we set it up a little. Well here I will increase the exposure because the exposure there still looks less guys here. I will set the exposure around one guys. If it's done, we can immediately click the thick guys, it looks more pop up. The light is on the left guys, that there is an effect where the lighting from the left directly penetrates into our main object. Well after that guys, I will also use the masking here using the brush tool guys. Well, here I will select in this section guys. Well, I'll set the shadows in the Lat menu. I'll reduce the shadows just a little. Then I'll also add a little exposure guys. Okay, if it's done, we can immediately click the tick guys. Well, that's a tutorial on how to edit these photos guys. This is the before and this is the after. If you want to see the before, remember you can just hold on the picture and then release. To get the after picture guys you have followed step by step on this editing. You can directly click the Share icon and then you can directly export to camera role. Then the image you have edited can be directly in your gallery. Well, if it's rendered, your pictures can be found directly in your gallery. Well that's a video tutorial on how to edit images for Levitation images on the basic DSLR chorus. Guys, see you again. We will meet in the next session, guys. 25. Project 3: Choose the Props & Compose It !: Okay guys, welcome to this section. And then this is the preparation part. Okay, so this time I will explain to you the preparation of the bright mood. As you can see that before we take the food in the dark mode, after that we take the beverage in the dark mode. Then in this section, I will take the mood in the bright mode. Okay? So I make sure that at least you want many kinds of settings and lighting, so you will know different kind of setting and different kind of food. Okay, and then the props planning here, we do the leveling of our main subject here, so we make our main subject higher. If you shot something that is high like this, I don't want to have all small props in my settings. I also want to have props that also hall like this, just to balance our food here. Okay, I also use this one to give the higher level of our frame here, just to give variation. And then I also have this one, okay. This is milk bottle and then actually this is not the real milk. Okay, I use slime because if I put slime in here, then you will just store it and use it anytime. The color won't change, the texture won't change, and you can practically use it forever. Okay? So if you want to find like this, actually you can find the tutorial how to create the slime online, okay? But you can also buy and then a really like the grass props like this and the small one. Then you always have a choice to add more level in your props. Okay, actually I'm planning to put the props like this in here. Instead of just using one level, you can always add the spoon or the gem knife on the top of the props to add one level, okay. Then you can also put clothes below the settings alone. We have three level, level one, the cloth, level two and level three, okay? Adds more complexity in our frame. You can also look at the of your main food, but you can also try to question, okay, if you have already setting your frame here. And you can ask yourself the important question, which is, do I have already set the leveling of my main food and set the leveling on the props surrounding here? Okay, so if you add more leveling in your props, it will also give so many texture and variation on our frame. Okay, it will look more natural. And then even if you use the small cake plate like this, I prefer to make it specked into three level instead of just one thing here. Okay? So I prefer to stack it like this and then put the fruits on the top of the plate, so it has another three level, okay? And I also really like to invest a small grass like this because it is very easy to use in many kinds of background. And then if you have blueberry fat in your frame, you always have almost unlimited choice to change the texture or the form of the blueberry, You can just put it on the background or you can cut it in half or you can all the blueberry in the glass like this. So you can only have one blueberry, but you always have choice to change the form of blueberry using many kinds of glassware like this. Okay. Yeah. So this time I put the blueberry in the glass like this and I also put some blueberries on the background. Yeah, this is how I plan our background here. And even if you already have the texture background, it is also important to put different textures just to give the variation of the texture even if the background already have texture. I, once you put the cloth like this just to give another texture to enrich our frame here. Okay. And then last one is I also suggest you to invest the small spoon and small fork like this because it's really nice to put in our background and for food photography, I recommend that you invest the small one like this because this is not the one that we want to sell, this is the one that we want to sell. I just put small things surrounding to make sure that the main focus is still here. Okay. Yeah, that is how we set our props and we plan what to choose for the props. And then I will see you in the next section. 26. Project 3: Light Your Food !: Okay guys, in this section I will explain to you about the lighting. Okay. This time we should bright mood, but as you can see, that the settings of our lighting is still the same. Okay, Before I continue, let's identify about our foot first. As you can see that the face or the point of interest of our foot is on the top of the cake. Okay, So to make sure that I get the most texture in the top, then I use the back light as my main lighting. Okay, So just like before, I use stronger light as my back light power, I use 16. And then the distance between our lighting here to our product is about eight centimeter. And then the distance between our foot here to the lighting, the distance is about eight centimeter. And then the height difference between our background to the lighting is also about 80 centimeters. Then we put our diffuser is about 25 centimeter in front of our lighting. Okay. If you only use that back lighting, then we will get blind texture here. But this area will become a shadow. Then also this fruit which is facing there will also become shadow. Okay. That's why we need the second lighting. Because the second lighting will bring the light to the toppings here and the area here. Okay? So it will be bright and very nice. That's why we need the second lighting, the lighting position here between our foot to the lighting, it's about 1 meter. And then we push the lighting about 40 centimeter in front of our foot. And then for the pistol here, I said the diffuser is quite near to our product to make sure that the light is softer. And the distance between our lighting to our diffuser is about 40 centimeter. The height difference between our background to the lighting is about 40 centimeter also. Okay. We use less powerful lighting than our back light in here. We use Go.k2 hundred. And the power this time is one P eight. Okay. Because this area is very dark. So I increase the power of this lighting. Okay. Yeah. That's how we manage our lighting here. And then I will see you in the next section. 27. Project 3: Set Your Camera & Shoot !: Okay guys, we have already set our lighting. Then I'll explain to you about camera setting here. And then you know what, I still use the same camera setting with the dark we shoot before, okay? So the chapter speed is still 12050 is still 100, and the Calvin or the wife balance is still 5,300 And then the aperture or F number is also still 6.3 okay? It's just the same. That is the beauty. Using the studio lighting whenever you want to shoot. Is it in morning, is it in the night time? Is it with the different room, different ambience lighting is the room. Have the yellow light, is the room, have the white light. You don't have to worry every time you shoot using this kind of flash because they are powerful, then it will keep giving you consistent results. Okay. So that's why I really like this kind of lighting. Yeah, that is how I set the camera. It's just still the same when you are shooting, using this kind of lighting. Actually, the camera setting is not something that you have to get confused, okay? It is pretty easy and it is pretty simple, okay? So let's move to the next section. I will take this beautiful cake. Okay, see you in the next section. 28. Project 3: The Result !: Okay guys, we have already taken our picture here. Then I am so excited to show you the result. So here is the result of the raw picture and then I have a tips for you when you are shipping the bright like this. This is kind of flower that I really like to put in the bright, moot photography. Okay, so maybe bread flour and caspia flower, maybe you can search it in the marketplace and type like this. Why I really like this kind of flower, because it doesn't dominate the main subject of our food here. Because it looks really smooth texture in our frame, but it doesn't dominate the main product there. And then because I also really like the white area of this flower. And also if you keep it longer than it will dry and then you still can use the dried portion of this flower practically, you can either it is fresh or either it is dried. Okay. That's why I really like these two kinds of flower. Okay. And then I will show you the edited portion. Here's the comparison between before and after the editing. I have another tips for you when you're shooting, right? Mood like this or even dark mood you will see in this picture. Actually, I realized that in this area it doesn't look too bright. I still feel in the raw picture, this area is still a little bit dark. But actually, while everything, if you want to make the dark area brighter, it is easier instead of you try to make everything bright. And then when you find certain area over exposed, it is much harder to underexpose area that is already overexposed. So the message I want to tell you, if you find that the picture, there is certain area that you want to make it brighter, then it is very easy in the light room if you want to post processing it and it will look very natural, you won't even recognize that there is the area that is edited. Okay, I will choose to brighten in the editing section instead of trying to do the lighting, increase the lighting to make it bright, but if there's area that is overexposed, it will be very hard to recover. Okay. Yep. I will see you in the next section in the editing section. 29. Project 3: Bonus Session - Preparation & Photoshoot !: Okay, that is in this section. This is a bonus section. And then before we get rid of all of the setting and change to another setting, then we will take the levitation version of this one. As simple as put the stick in our fruit here, there is blackberry, blueberry, and also this fruit. Then we will put it like this in some area. And then one thing you have to pay attention is you can put your fruit here. Either get the lighting from there or get the lighting from there. Okay? You can face your fruit to there or face your fruit to this direction to get the lighting from the back light. Okay? So you can take in many positions. And then we also want to pour some honey to have different texture in our set pitre. Okay, so let's move to the next section. 30. Project 3: Photoshop Editing Session: Okay, hello guys. Well, now I will repeat the steps from start to finish to edit color image photos, adoblight room for your smartphone guys. Well guys, let's go straight to the light in the light menu. As usual, we will reduce the highlight guys here. I will reduce the highlight to get the right one. Then I'll add the shadows. The guys here, I am also adding brightness to the white guys so that the image gets a good brightness guys. Then we will go to the color guys In this color menu, I will reduce the temperature to make it a little cooler. Okay, well we can go directly to the color mix menu here next to grating. Then we choose the red color first. Well, in this color I will add the saturation guys so that the color of this fruit will light up. Okay, well I'll add around the '60s. Then for the luminance, I'll also add guys so that the red color looks better. Well, after that, we immediately move to the orange color. In the orange color guys, I will increase the saturation, the same as the red color earlier. Then for the luminance itself, I will increase it, but only a little guys here, I will add up to plus two. Then here I will choose the yellow. Then we will add the saturation again, guys. Then I'll add the luminance here. I'll add it to plus 19. Maybe you can see the picture of these caves on the cake. It's even better guys than the previous one. Well, let's go straight to the green here. The green itself, I'll just add the saturation because the green color in this picture is a little bit, guys, it's not too dominant in color. We go straight to the pink color. That's because in this picture there is no blue and purple color guys. Let's go straight to the P. Then we will add the saturation guys. Just a little around plus 30 maybe for the luminance, I will add more. Well, after that, we can immediately click Done Guys. Then we will go to the Details menu. Guys, in the Details menu, I will add the sharpening, around 114 maybe. Then to counter it, we will choose the masking. Then we increase it to plus 70 maybe. Okay, well guys under the masking there is the noise reduction. In the noise reduction, I'll add it around the 20 guys guys, if it's done, we can immediately click the tick. Well, if you finish, we can immediately see the difference guys, this is the before and this is the after. The color of the K is getting better. And also more striking, right? Well, actually for these three menu settings, you already get beautiful pictures. However, if you have subscribe a paid dubilightroom, you can directly enter the masking menu guys. Here I will do masking the object or background instead of this image guys. Well, if it's been selected I will go to the evac guys. Well in the effect I will reduce the texture guys so that the focus of this texture only on the kick. Okay, we can immediately click the tick. Then we'll select at the bottom using the brush again. Well, here I will reduce the highlights guys in the Lat menu. Then I will reduce the highlight around -60 guys. If it's done, we can immediately click the tick. Then we will select the parts of the fruit guys I want to select in this fruit section and then also in this section guys. I want to increase the shadows guys because in my opinion, it's less bright. Well, here I will increase the shadows to plus 20. Okay, well we can immediately click the tick guys. After that guys, we will select the kick using a brush on the masking guys. If it's done we can immediately click the tick. Then guys, we're going to use a linear gradient in the masking to make a selection at the top left of these guys. Well, I will reduce the highlights in this section guys using the Lat menu. Then we will reduce the highlights. Then we check if you finish, this is the before picture guys, then here is the after picture guys. Well, it's much better, right guys? Better, More different. More pop up. Okay. Moreover, the color of these fruits, guys, wow, that's really great, isn't it? Well guys, you can just follow step by step using your photos. The point is you can follow the theories, guys, you can just stick to the rules according to your respective pictures. Now if you finish, we can directly click the Share icon, then click Export to Camera role. Okay, if you finish, your photos can be directly found in your gallery. Well, that's all for this video. A tutorial for this foot photo. We will move on to the next foot, guys. Thank you. 32. Project 4: Choose the Props & Compose It !: Okay guys, welcome to this section. And in this section, we will take beverage in bright moot. Okay, so before we have already taken food and beverage in dark mood and then food in bright moot, then in this section, I will take the beverage in bright mood. Okay, how we plan this scene. So I will come with the leveling main subject here. And then below our main subject, I put this small chopping board. Actually this is originally have wood texture and wood color, but I paint it so I can get the white portion of it when I found a chip. Props and the shape is also not too big like this. And then I always buy like six of it and then two of them, I won't do anything with that chopping board. Another two, I will paint it into the white one. And the last two pieces, I paint it into the dark one. So I can easily get three color and it don't cost too much also. Okay. Actually, I just paint it with the wood paint and finishing. Okay. Yeah, I put it here to add leveling, so it instantly add two levels below of our food. And then another tips I have explained before. Yeah, this is my favorite. This is so easy to add more level. Just add small spoon in our jar here. And then also with this one, instead of just put it like this, you can always add more level to make it higher and have different texture. Just to give variation and make our frame looks natural. Okay, and then if you have chocolate, then just cut it with different size like this. Four of them. Six of them. And I also cut one square like this just to give variation in the props on our frame. Okay, yeah, this is how we set our frame. And then finally, I also add this white cloth as texture, so we have many texture variation in our frame. Okay, yes, that's how we plan our scene here and then I will see you in the next section. Okay guys, I just want to give you small tips when you want to put the small ingredients on your frame. Then you can also use the leveling. Okay? You can put it in the top level, okay? And you can put in the middle chopping board. And then you can put on the background. So if you want to put it on the background so you can also put it on the different level. The best advantage if you don't have leveling. You can see this if I take out this one and then you put all of them and then there's no many variation in your settings. Yeah. That's why when I want to put anything on any ingredients on my background, I always put it in different level of my leveling, so it will give variation and more. 33. Project 4: Light Your Food !: Okay guys, welcome to this section. And in this section, I will explain to you about the lighting secrets for beverage photography. And this time we will shoot it in the bright if you're shooting beverage like this. So we already have beautiful beverage here. One secret that you have to practice is even if my lights stand is too high, I put my lighting on the chair because I want to make my lighting lower actually for beverage photography, if you want to get the most texture here, okay, you want to get beautiful, high light in the glass. Then put the lighting almost in the same level with your beverage here. So my lighting here is just like two centimeter higher than my beverage. Okay. It's almost in the same level. And I put my lighting is about five centimeter in front of my beverage. So the lighting will come through a little bit in the front area. Okay. So five centimeter in front. And then the distance between our beverage here should be lighting. Yeah. Yes, about 1.1 meter. The distance between the lighting here to the diffuser is about 40 centimeter. As you can see here, push about five centimeter, your lighting five centimeter in front of your main subject. Then to make sure that you also get the texture in this area. Because in this area we don't use lighting at all. You can also put this whiteboard to bounce the lighting, so you still can get detail in this area, but you can also try to use another lighting. If you want to get to highlight, I just want to using one light, the highlight will be in this area. And this area will be shadow. But it is brighter because of this bouncing. But if you use two lighting, you will also get two beautiful highlights in the right and left area of your beverage. Okay, you can also try using two lightning with the same power. Then I suggest you to take some angle here. You can take the 45 degree angle. Okay, you can also take the front angle if you want to see a different feel of your beverage. You can also do the left this below your beverage. If your beverage is higher, then you can try to take below your beverage. You can put your camera slightly below. Then it will make your beverage look color. And then also the highlight will be also very beautiful. I suggest you to take 45 degree front angle and slightly below you put the camera slightly below your main subject. Yes, that's my explanation about the lighting position here, I'll put it here and then let's do the. 34. Project 4: Set Your Camera & Shoot !: Okay guys, we have already taken our picture to the settings here, and then I'm so excited to show you the result. And here's the result of the raw picture. Okay, And then here's the comparison before and after the editing. Okay, so if you guys want to know step by step how we added this one, how to correct the color, how to create the texture in beverage. So I will explain to you in detail in the next section. 35. Project 4: Bonus Section – Preparation & Photoshoot: In this bonus section, I will explain to you about how to make this one become la tation shot. So I already prepare some chocolate here with different form and then I will place it in some areas. So one thing that you have to notice is we only use one lighting there, so this is quite dark. This chocolate have a beautiful texture, square texture here. But since it's quite dark and it is bright lot, if you face this chocolate with the wrong area, in this area, we don't have any lighting at all. So if you face the chocolate to which means we don't have any lighting. So it will become completely dark and you will lose all the texture of the chocolate. Okay. But if you're noticed that the lighting only one over there. So whenever you want to place the chocolate, you have to make sure that the chocolate facing over there so the lighting there will make a beautiful shape of this chocolate. Okay. Whenever you put the chocolate, just try to face over there. Don't set your chocolate facing over here because it will become very dark. Okay? Yes. I also prepare some crumbles. Small crumbles also gives different texture, so I don't want to put many big things on the levitation. I will also set that small crumbles to give different texture in our levitation. Okay, the lighting here, we still use the same position as the Photoshop before we set the lighting almost at the same level with our beverage here. Okay, so let's do the levitation. Photoshop. 36. Project 4: Photoshop Editing Session: Hello guys, We've entered the next foot, Photo guys, We now I've entered the Ob Photoshop software guys, this is the initial view of Adobe Photoshop guys. Now I just need to enter the file, then click open. Well, here I'll choose a folder that contains photos that I've previously selected, guys. Well, here I just choose the main photo that I've selected. Well, this is the photo. Click the photo, then just click open Here guys. Then the photos that you choose will go directly to Adobe Photoshop. Now, because the photo that we selected is still landscape, I'll change it in the image. Then I select image rotation, and I select counter clockwise 90 degrees guys. Well, then the photo will be a portrait guys. Now I just have to repeat step by step according to the photos we edited before guys. Okay guys, here I'm going to add an area where the chocolate is flying around guys. Well, how we just open the File Explorer, which is the photo that we've chosen, then we fit the position guys according to our frame. If it's done, we click Enter. Okay, after that, we first lower the opacity to get the position we want. Well, if it's done, increase the opacity again, guys. Then we click Add Layer Mask. Then we'll spill black color with the paint bucket tool in this image until it disappears. Then we'll create a cheat layer control J, delete layer mask. Let's go back to the previous layer. Don't forget to reduce the layer's opacity first guys, then we return to the previous layer. Then we'll use a white brush tool to brush the brown part. Okay guys, if it's already been selected guys, we can just delete our help later. Well then it will be like this guys. Now, since this area is a bit darker than our background, we're going to add brightness and contrast guys. We can go straight here. Then we choose brightness and contrast. Then I'll add the brightness around 29. Well now I'll click out, then I'll move it below guys that the effect on brightness and contrast is only on this later guys. Well, if you finished here, I'll add a melt to this picture guys. In the same way, we'll go to file Explorer. Then we select the photo that I want to include. We drag, then we adjust the position guys according to the frame we have. If it's done, we click Enter. Then here I'll reduce the opacity first. Well, if it's done here, I'll adjust the position according to the chocolate guys here, I'll only take the melted part because this melt looks better than the previous melt. Let's increase the opacity again. Okay guys, if we've already got the position we want, we can just increase the opacity again. Then we add layer mask here. Then we'll spill the black color with the paint bucket tool until it disappears. Then we create a help layer guys control J. We delete layer mask here. Then we reduce the opacity. Now we'll return to the layer mask earlier. Then we'll brush under melted honey with the white brush tool. Okay guys, if it's been brushed we can just delete the help layer earlier guys. Well then it will be like this guys. Now, I'll also add more the brightness and contrast guys here. I'll just copy and paste to make it easier. Then I drag it up. Then I'll select out again guys. Then I'll move it down so that the impact is only on this layer. Okay guys, we'll continue. I'll add the melt in this section. Two guys, because the section is a bit less melted on this layer, I'll move it again using control J. I'll copy it first. If it's done on this layer, I'll go to the layer mask. Then I'll spell white color to make it visible again. Guys, if it's done on this layer, I'll go to the layer mask. Then I'll spill the white color to make it visible again guys. Okay guys, if you've got the position you want, you can immediately change the opacity to 100 again. Then guys spill it again using the black paint bucket tool until it disappears. Then we'll delete the help layer control J, delete layer mask. Then here we reduce the opacity, we return to the previous layer mask. Then we'll brush tool using white color guys. Okay guys, if it's been brushed, we can immediately delete the help layer. We delete it, then it will be like this. Then here I'll copy again, the brightness and contrast guys. We click control J, then I move up, Then here I'll click out, then I move it down. Then only layer will be impacted is this guy here. I'll add the brightness at 29, so it will be like this guys. Okay, then here I'm also going to keep adding the melt in the section guys, this chocolate section. In the same way as before, I still use this layer. I'm going to control J first I'm moving it up. Okay, then right here I'm going to click on the layer mask. Then here I'm going to spill the white color, so it's all feasible. Then I reduce the opacity. First I use the move tool to move it here. I'll first match this chocolate with this chocolate guys here. I'll choose this melt guys to be the chocolate melt that we have guys. Okay, if the position fits here, I increase the opacity again, then I'll spill the black color with the paint bucket until it disappears. Then I click control J as a help layer. I delete layer mask. Again, we reduce the opacity. We return to the layer mask earlier. Then here I'm going to brush using white color on this part of the melt. Okay guys, it's done here. I'll delete the help layer. Then it will be like this guys. Well, here I'm also going to add the brightness and contrast layer. I click control J in brightness and contrast below it, I drag it up, then I click Help. Then I move it to the bottom of this guys. Well, okay guys, here I'll continue to add melted chocolate to the last one guys, which is this chocolate. I'm going to keep control J on this layer because I'm still using this photo. Then guys, here I'll select the layer mask. I'll spill the white color to make it visible. Then here I'll reduce the opacity. Then I match the chocolate between this chocolate and this one, so I can add the melt guys. Okay, if it's done I'll add the opacity again, then I'll spill black. In this photo here. I'm going to use a help layer click control J, then delete layer mask. I'll reduce the opacity. We go back to the layer mask earlier. Then here I'll use the white brush tool for the brush in this section guys. Okay, if it's done we can delete the help layer. Then it will be like this. Well here I'm going to use the brightness and contrast again. I'm going to copy and paste it using control J. Then I'm going to move it to the top. Then here I click out, then I'll move it to the bottom layer. Well, it will be like this guys. Okay guys, if the melting is done here, I'll add the chocolate flakes that fell from above guys by clicking open on the file plorer. Then I'll select the file that I'll add guys. Then we drag, well, if you finish here, we'll fit it with the frame that we have. Then click Enter. Then here I'll reduce the opacity first. Then here I'll choose the position according to the position I want. Now if you finish, we can immediately increase the opacity again to 100. Then we'll add a layer mask here. Then guys, you can just peel the black color here until it's gone here. I'll create a help layer by clicking control J. We copy, then delete layer mask on the help layer, we'll reduce the opacity. Then we go back to the layer mask below here. I'll brush on the chocolate parts that I'll indeed include guys. Well, when it's done here, I'll delete the help later, guys. Well, it will be like this guys. It doesn't stop there guys. Now, I'll also add chocolate chips in this area, guys, because this area still looks empty. We'll open the File Explorer. Then we select the photo. We, we adjust it to the frame we have guys. Then we click Enter first. Then we'll reduce its opacity here. I'll adjust the position according to the position we want, guys. Okay, if it's done, we'll increase the opacity again. Then we are going to add layer mask. Then here I'm going to spill black until it's done using paint bucket. Then here I'll use a help layer. We control J delete layer mask, we reduce the opacity. We return to the layer mask earlier. Then we'll brush using white color on the brown parts that we really want to appear guys. Okay guys, if it's done we can just delete the help layer guys. Well then it will be like this guys. Okay guys, because here the object is a bit too tilted. I'll combine it. Then I'll zoom in a bit more. I'll merge all the layers by first selecting the top one. Then we click Shift on the keyboard, then we select the bottom. Then we click Control J first. Then click Control so that the whole layer becomes one unit guys. Therefore, here I'll select the layer that we've merged earlier. Then we'll zoom guys. Okay guys, here I've got the position I want. But come to think of it here, this top chocolate part, guys, it's annoying. So I'd like to move this top chocolate part into this one. Guys, the chocolate isn't too high either. Well, okay guys, the trick is I'll first select this part of the chocolate guys using the quick selection tool. Then here I'll select the chocolate part. Guys guys, if it is already selected here, I'll click control J. Well then I'll create a new layer. Well here for the first layer I will add another layer to a new layer that is really empty. Then here I'll erase it using the spot healing brush tool so that the brown position earlier will disappear. Now if you finish, I'll move to the previous layer which I copied earlier, the brown part. Then I'll move it to the bottom guys. I'm going to move the chocolate in this section to the section guys, I copy it first, the chocolate in this section I slide to here. Then the brown in the section I'll remove using the brush tool. Well, that's all guys, actually, the editing section for merging images of the lying chocolate food photos has been completed guys. Well, to save it guys, you can directly control safe or you can go directly to file. Then click save, select PSD file to save the folder part of the Photoshop file guys. Well, here I'll save. Okay. Then the file from B Photoshop will be saved in the folder that you selected earlier. Then if you want to save the photo file, you can direct click the control safe or you can go directly to file. Then select Save A Well here guys choose July. We click the top here, I'll save, I'll choose the Maximum Quality guys. Usually the settings are like this guys. Then we click okay. Then the file from your Jpa photos will be saved in the folder that you chose. Well, that's all for the merge photo editing section of our basic DSLR chorus guys. Thank you for watching, and I also apologize if there are some wrong or missing words. Thank you guys. 37. Project 4: Lightroom Editing Session: Okay, hello guys. Now we have arrived the Levitation Photo Editing Session on this basic DSLR course. Guys, Well, I'm here using Adob Lat Room as my editing software on my smartphone. You can directly download it on the Playstore or App Store and it's free guys. Well now you can also follow step by step from the beginning until I finally edited the Levitation photo guys. This is a raw photo that has been edited for merging images guys. For this limitation, the function we edit in Db light room is to bring out the color, also sharpen and improve the photo so that the image is not monotonous guys. This color guys, it will be even more beautiful if we edited in light room guys. Well, now we can just go straight to light menu. In the light menu, there is exposure guys. Well, this exposure is the brightness level in your image guys, but this is for the overall level guys. If you increase the exposure, it means that you increase the lighting level in all your pictures. It's a bit too sensitive guys for exposure. If we raise it to bright, it will be very bright. If we lower it, it will be very dark in all parts of our photo guys. Well, for this contrast, it's actually to bring out the color guys, it's more classy like that. Now for high light, highlight itself is the reflection of light from the lighting that we use guys. Well, for example, this is the one in our glass. Well, this is a reflection of the lighting that we use guys. The white one is the light guys. Now guys, we will change to low guys. Left a line guys -100 Why? Because we want to get softer but better highlights guys. It's not to over the top guys, right? As for the shadows, those are the parts that are not reached by the light or lighting that we use. Guys in the shadow section like this guys. Well, we will increase the shadow section so that it fits guys. Okay, well here I raise about 30 guys for the shadow section. Now the white is almost the same as the exposure. The difference is the white increases the brightness of certain objects. Only not for all parts of the picture. We can increase the white guys. To brighten our photos here, I will increase the white by about 60. Well, it's already fit guys. Now for the light part, it's finished guys. We can immediately move to the next section, namely the color section guys. In the color section, there is temperature, tint and also vibrance for the temperature itself, it is the level of mood in our image. For example, if we slide it to the right, it will be warmer. When we slide it to the left, it will be colder guys here. I want to lower it just a little. In the temperature section, around minus seven or minus six guys. Well, it looks like minus six. Okay. Then for the tin, tin is more purple and also green guys. We now I want to add the tin part around maybe 12. Okay. Then guys, here is a thing called color guys. Next to this grading, it's called color guys. Well, now we will go to color. I will choose the red color first in this left corner. Then I'll set the hue to plus 45. Now for the saturation, I'll set it again to plus 90 guys. Well, for the aluminens, I'll also increase around plus 90 guys. Okay, then we move to orange color. Here in the orange color, I will add the saturation guys up to 30 maybe. Then for the yellow color guys here, I will add maybe about plus 30 for the saturation guys. Then we move to the green color here. I will also increase the saturation green color by around 40. Then for the blue color guys, for the luminance, I will increase it to plus 89. Well after this green color, we will go directly to the dark blue color guys. Here I will increase the aluminens to around 80 or 90 guys. Well, for the saturation here, I will also increase it to a small number guys plus six. Then we will move to the purple color guys. In this purple color, we will make the right alignment for the hue guys up to plus 100. Then for the saturation here, I'll reduce it a little. May be -30 guys, well for the aluminens, I'll just reduce it a bit from plus one guys. Well for the pink color guys, I'll make it to right align for the hue. Then for the saturation, I just leave it at zero. Then for the luminance, I just add it a little bit to plus five. If it's done, we can immediately click done here guys. Okay, well actually to edit this color, you can just try it yourself. Which one matches your picture. There are no definite rules to set or edit this color, guys. What is certain is here we want the colors of our photos to be real and not too much. Well, we don't want to change the color of the original color of our food. That's what you have to remember guys. Okay, we immediately click done. In the color section, we are done. Let's go straight to the effect section guys. Well, in the Efax section there is texture, there is clarity. He vignette and also others. Well, now I will set it in the dehaze section. I'll make it around minus three. Okay, then here I will go to the Details menu guys. In the Details menu, there is such a thing as sharpening. I will add sharpening here around 120. Well here guys, if you increase the sharpening, your picture will look cracked. Or you could say the picture will look like a lot of ends. Well, that's why we're going to counter the sharpening with masking guys. Then we increase the masking. Okay guys, now it will be a counter for the sharpening. We get a sharp image but not to crack or too many ends. After masking, we will get the noise reduction. Well, noise reduction is the same as masking. The difference is it will reduce noise from your pictures. Okay, I add about 30 and then we click okay. Well, actually by adjusting the four settings in this forming use, we've already got a good picture. And contrast guys, this is the four guys. Then when we just edited the forming use, we get a picture that is actually finished. Guys like this, this is the after guys. For those of you who are dubilite room users, the way to see the before and after is you just hold onto the picture. Then you can get the before picture. And when you release, you get the after picture. Well that's the way, well these four features, you can get them by using Dubilite room, which is free. However, when you have subscribed to adubilite room, you can get the masking and the healing menu. Here guys. Well, here in this photo we will use what is called the masking guys. The masking is a feature where we can select only some parts of our image and we can change it guys. For example, when we are here, click at, We will use what is called linear gradient. Then we will give an overview here guys. Well, here guys. The red one is the image of the part that I will select guys. Well, I will change the shadows section Here guys, in this section because I think the shadows are too dark. Guys, I will add the shadows maybe around 30. Okay guys, if it's done we can directly click the checklist. Then we add the masking again guys, The masking here has too many features guys. So you guys can remember there is brush, linear gradient and radial gradient here. I will use brush. The brush here is the same as painting. You can directly select the object by painting the object guys. For example, like this, we click brush, then we brush on the part of the object that we really want to select here. I want to select at the top of the glass. You can also adjust the thickness level of the brush guys. If you really want to delete the part that you don't want to be selected, you can do it once by using eraser guys. Well, if it's been selected like this, we can edit it right away. I'm here to change the highlight to be more or less. I choose minus eight. Okay, if it's done, we select the thick here, guys. Well, we've got a nice glass top guys guys. I'm here to color the straws guys, because this color is too lacking to be part of our picture. We will select here in the straw section, well, we can delete the parts that we don't want to select using the eraser here. Okay, if it's done we can directly select the light here. Then I will reduce the highlight. First guys here so that the highlight is not too much. Then we will also change the black to make it a bit darker. Then we will go to the color guys. Well, in this color we will increase the temperature so that the color comes out a bit more guys. Well, I will also increase the tin here guys, but only a little. Okay, I'll also increase the saturation guys. Okay, we've got the color of the spoon we want guys, just select the thick right away. Well guys, I'm here to see that the picture is too overexposed, there's too much highlight here. I'm going to reduce it with our brush at the bottom, guys, Then we go to the guys, we will reduce the highlights, then we click the tick. While the highlight is already proper with the color, we want guys. Well, here it turns out that it's still to over guys in the highlight section in the right corner. We will. Then we click light. Then we change the highlight to be brighter guys, we can directly click the tick. Apart from that, we also get a feature whose name is. Select subject guys. Well, this can directly select the subject instead of the picture. As easy as that guys. Well, now the subject of our photo has been found out, guys, it's been selected in this software as easy as that, but I'm going to use inferred here so that what's selected is outside of our main object. Well, okay guys, if it's done, you just select the outside. You can set it right here in the light section. I want to use the shadows and add the shadows guys. Okay, then for the color guys, I'm going to add the temperature here, but just a little, don't be too much for the effect here. I will reduce the texture guys so that the main focus here is the glass from our main object guys. Now I will also reduce the clarity. What comes out is the texture of the food or glass rather than our drinks. Okay, well for the sharpness, we will reduce it. Here guys, it's done. We can immediately click the thick guys. Well, this is the picture that we really want, guys. Well now I will also add the masking here using a brush. Well, I want to increase the sharpness only at the bottom because there are some objects that are indeed at the bottom. It turns out that the texture is too lacking. I keep adding the sharpness and the texture here, Using effects, I added the texture. Then for the details, I add sharpness. Guys, we click for the bottom. I've got the sharpness I want guys. Well guys, I'm going to add the shadows here. I add some shadows using the brush tool guys, because I think the shadows are still lacking Okay. At the top of this. Okay guys, we will add in light, we will add the shadows here, a little by around 17. Okay guys, after we go to the shadows, we go straight to the effect. Guys, we will reduce the texture here because the texture of our white background is a bit too flashy. Okay, well let's reduce it then. For the details menu. I will also reduce the sharpness to -96 Well it's as simple as that to edit levitation pictures like this guys. This is the before we edit, this is the after guys. Well if you have followed step by step from start to finish for this picture, you can just click the share. I can hear the guys, we click Export to Camera Role. Then the images from your photos will be immediately available in your gallery. Okay, after waiting for the rendering, we can immediately get it in the gallery guys. Well, that's a tutorial on how to edit using Ob light room for this image guys. I thank you, we will meet in the next session, guys. 38. Project 5: Choose the Right Props & Light Your Food !: Okay guys, welcome to this section. And in this section we will fully take levitation, food photography. And then if you want to see what is the result that we are pursuing, then I will show you. This is the result that we will take for this scene. Okay, as you can see here, the result then we have so many ingredients here that we want to set. Okay, The first one is we will use this whisk here. We take the first frame while our hand is on the below of this wisk. And then the second picture, we will take this one. And then the next one we will take with the chopping board here. And then we will place it on the top of the sick here. Okay? And we take another picture like this. Okay? And then we take the milk on the top of this chopping board. And another ingredient, and one of the heck is you can also do the thing that I already explained to you before while doing the photoshoot. Even if you shoot every single items in different picture, you can use the technique. I explained to you before that I use plastic to draw on my LCD camera. So I draw every single exact, so I still can't remember where I have to place for every single object here. Okay, and then I will explain to you about the lighting position here. The lighting distance between our product here to our lighting there is about 1.1 meter. And then the height difference between our product here to the lighting is about 45 centimeter. And we push the lighting about ten centimeter in the front of our main area here to make sure that if we put the lighting slightly in front of our object, the lighting will also move a little bit in this area. In this area won't be very dark. Okay? Yeah. This is how we set the light thing, and then we place the diffuser about 40 centimeters in front of our lighting. Okay? Yes. This is how we set our lighting and we plan our scene here. And then I will see you in the next section. 39. Project 5: Set Your Camera & Shoot !: Okay, we are preparing the photoshoot now, I already have my assistant there, and we will place position of each there. And I really suggest you to put your camera on tripod to get consistent position for each image. It will be much easier in the editing section if you put your camera on tripod like this. Here's my camera setting for this frame. Okay? And then let's do the photoshoot. 40. Project 5: The Result !: Guys, as you can see, while I'm doing the photo shoot, I using this plastic. Actually, this is just something that I have explained before. I using this plastic from my mail box and I cut it, it still have the same size with my LCD camera. And then I draw every single shot. I draw exactly the position of each item. Okay, when I put the whisk, then I draw the whisk when I put the chopping board. Then I draw the chopping board on the whisk. And then also I draw every single item, include the cheese, include the knife and the egg. Okay, and the cake on the top. Okay, so I draw every single thing to make sure that they are in exact same position. So the editor will edit it more easily. Okay, here's the rob that we will edit it later. So here you go. And then in the next section, I will show you how we combine each of the pictures and how we added the color to make sure that we added consistent color for every single item. Okay, so I'll see you in the next. 41. Project 5: Photoshop Editing Session: Okay, hello guys. We've entered the next foot photo on our basic D SRR course, guys. Well, I've entered the initial view in Dob Photoshop guys. Well, as usual in the previous videos, we just have to go directly to the file and then click open. Then we select the image. We want to be the main of our Levitation photo guys. Well, here I'll choose this photo as the main photo guys. Well, here are some photos that I've selected as my Levitation photos guys. Now I just click open. Then the photo from the main levitation photo will go directly to Photoshop guys. Well now we'll just go straight to the stages from beginning to end for editing guys. Let's go. Well, okay guys, now I'm going to add an area here guys, the object of the foot, guys. Well now I'll go into file Explorer. Then here I select the image that I'll insert guys. Okay, we're going to drag, we'll first set the position guys according to the frame we have. If it's done, we can immediately click Enter The Guys. I'm here to make sure that the position fits with the image we want by reducing the opacity. Well if the position is fits, you can immediately increase the opacity again. Then add layer mask. Then guys, you can spill black using the paint bucket tool here guys until it's gone. Then I'll also use a help layer to help when we brush guys. Well, here I'll also reduce the opacity before that because we copied and pasted it from the layer below this layer. Mask must be deleted guys. Okay, let's move to the previous layer mask here. I'm going to brush using white on this area guys. Okay guys, because there is a hand object here, also here. So I don't brush it because here I'll overwrite it again with a photo that doesn't have hands on this object guys. Okay, if it's been brushed, we'll delete the cheat layer guys. It will be like this guys. Well, here are some objects that we've already brushed. We'll delete them by brushing with black. Otherwise it was now we brush black to erase objects that we don't want to show. Okay guys, if you finished here, I'll first overwrite in the egg better area guys. Okay, here I'll open the File Explorer, then I'll select the image, and then we drag it. We first adjust the frames according to the size of the frames we have. We reduce the opacity. We adjust the position First guys, the position of the egg better. Okay, if the position fits, I'll increase the opacity again. We add layer mask. We spill it with the paint bucket tool with the black color until it's gone. We copy paste. We delete layer mask Here guys, we reduce the opacity. We return to the layer mask below. We just need to brush using white guys in the section. Okay, if it's been brushed here, we'll delete the help layer. I just need to paste it for this area guys. Okay guys, the area of the bitter is done here. I just delete the area that has the hand on the right guys. We open the File Explorer, we select the photo that doesn't have the hand in that section. Then I just fit guys, we click Enter. We reduce the opacity first. Then we fit the wooden object or the tray guys. Okay guys, if it fits here, we just need to increase the opacity again. Then we click Add Layer Mask. Then we spill the black color using the paint bucket tool until it disappears. Then we use a help layer, delete the layer mask. Then we reduce the opacity again on our help layer guys. We move to the layer mask below here, I'll brush using white color guys. Okay guys, if it's already been brushed here, you can just delete the help layer. We have to match first whether it's still the same or not on the tray if there is indeed an access area here. Guys deleted. Okay guys, if this object has been brushed here, I'll move to another object. Guys here I'll overwrite the image in this hand area. Guys, open the file Explorer. First I'll choose a photo that will overwrite that section area. We fit first guys to position the frame to match the layer we have, okay. If it's done, we click Enter. First, reduce the opacity. So we can equalize the object position. Okay guys, if we really get the position we want, we can immediately add more opacity to 100. Then guys, we add layer mask here. Move the color to black. We spill the black color using the paint bucket tool here until it disappears. We click control J, We delete the layer mask. This is our help layer. We reduce the opacity. We go back to the layer mask earlier than we brush using white color on the part that has the hand. Okay guys, we can just check it by turning off the help layer, whether our brush is match what we want or not. If it's less, you can just brush it again, guys. Okay, if you finish, you can immediately delete the help layer. Well because the layer is too dark in this part here, I'll add the brightness and contrast guys, we increase the brightness to around plus 92. Then here I'll move the layer mask down by clicking the Alp. Then guys, you can directly select your cursor in this section. Then left click guys, so brightness and contrast only have an effect on this layer. Then it will be like this guys, you can see it's not too dark in this part either. Well now here I'll add a milk bottle object here that will float in this part. Guys, we go to the File Explorer, then select the photo that we want guys, so you can just track it directly into B. Photoshop, Adjust the frame first guys, if it fits, we click Enter. Let's reduce the opacity first guys. Okay, here I'll position the milk bottle according to what we want guys. Okay, this is the position we want to put the milk bottle in. I'll add more opacity guys until it's full. We add layer mask. Then we select the layer mask, we'll spill black with the paint bucket tool here until it's gone. We use a help layer Click control J, delete layer mask. We reduce the opacity guys. We go back to the layer mask earlier than here. I'll brush on the milk part using white color guys for the hand part, it doesn't need to be selected because it's a bit annoying here. We'll overwrite it again with another image for the hand part that is covered by the hand. We can just delete the help layer. Then it will be like this guys guys, you can just tidy up a little for the areas that you might have selected. Okay, if you finished in the milk bottle area here, we'll add it again to the area that was covered by the hand guys here. I will open the File Explorer again, Then we select the photo and drag it back. We adjust the frame to the frame we want. We click Enter. I'll reduce the opacity here. Okay, if you finished here, I'll first adjust the position with the position of the milk bottle earlier. Okay guys, if the position fits with the position we want, we'll increase the opacity again. We click Add Layer Mask. Then we spill the black color with paint bucket tool. Then we use the Help Layer. Click control J, Delete Layer Mask. We reduce the opacity of the help layer. We go back to the layer mask below. Then we brush using white color on the area that was covered by the hand. Well, okay guys, we finished brushing the drinking bottles. Guys, if it's done, we can immediately delete the help layer, then it will be like this. Okay guys, we'll continue here. I'll add splattered flour. Guys, there's flour here but it's still motionless. I'll add a movement here as if the flour came out, guys. Okay, here. I'll open the file and we select the image. Then we adjust to the frame we have. We click Enter. I'll reduce the opacity here first to make sure it's positioned, fits with the position we want. If it fits, then here I'll add the opacity again. Then here I'll add layer mask. We're spilling the black with paint bucket tool here until it's gone. Then as a help layer here, I'm going to click control J, Delete Layer mask. I'll reduce the opacity. I went back to the layer mask earlier, we changed the color to white. Let's brush this part guys. Okay, if it's already been brushed here, I'm going to delete the help layer. Well then it will be like this guys. You can see here, there is flowers splattering. Well, this is the picture we want for the flower guys. Well, because I think the flower is too bright here. I'll add the brightness and contrast then All we just the brightness to minus four guys. Okay, If it fits we can immediately click up. Then we'll move it to the layer below so that the Eva is only on the flower guys. Well, like this, if it's finished here. I'll also add the falling shallowi's motion. There's motion on our image guys. Okay, we go to the File Explorer, then we choose this image. We track it, we adjust to the frame that we have. Guys, if it's done, we can immediately click Enter. I'll reduce the opacity to see if the position fits with the position we want. Well, this is the position we want for the G part guys. Well, here we just need to increase the opacity again. We add layer mask, then we sell black with the paint bucket tool until it's gone. Then guys for the help layer here, I'm going to click control J, delete layer mask. I'll reduce the opacity. Then you can immediately move back to the previous layer mask. Well here I'll brush using white color in the G area guys. Okay guys, if you finished you can just delete the help layer. Then it will be like this guys. Well, if there is an object or area that we have already selected guys, you can just delete it in the opposite way if earlier we used white. Now we color it with black. It's as if we're going to erase the area guys. This is the image we want for the object now because shells are not enough. Guys here are also at the motion of falling X guys. It's as if the egg shell is releasing the contents of the egg that has fallen into the flower. Guys, well, that's the motion we want for the image guys. We'll open the File Explorer. We choose the picture of the egg, we adjust it to the frame. We have guys here, we click Enter. Let's reduce the opacity first, guys. Well, if the position of the egg is fits with what we want, you can immediately increase the opacity. Again, we add layer mask, we spill black color using the paint bucket tool. Here we copy and paste. Click control G. Then we delete layer mask. We reduce the opacity. We return to the layer mask earlier than we can directly select the white brush tool guys. Well, here I'll brush on the egg. Well, if you finished guys, you can just delete the help layer. Then it will be like this guys, there is a motion of the fallen egg guys. Then it hits the flower until the flower skirts out. That's all guys. Lastly, here I'll remove the areas that are too distracting in this part using a new layer, the empty layer here. I'm going to use the spot healing brush tool to remove the unwanted areas. Guys. Well guys, you can just brush in areas that are too distracting for our foot photos using the spot healing brush tool. Well, if the stains behind the background have been removed with the spot healing brush tool, then the result will be like this guys, those annoying stains will be very easy to remove using the spot healing brush tool guys. Well, this is the object of the photo that we want guys for the merged photo. Editing of our levitation photo is completed, guys, that's all for editing the image. As simple as that guys, you just need to practice for the brush. Because here what stands out the most is that we'll always use the brush tool. Well, how to save the file. Well, now we will edit the colors guys. Well, according to the steps just now, we will repeat again. We'll go straight to the lat section. Here in light menu, we will directly adjust the highlight. We will reduce the highlight guys as usual, after we have reduced the high light, we will usually increase the shadows. Then for the white here, we will also increase the brightness, usually for the black. This is only used if the background or there is an object that is black guys. Now I will reduce the black so that the color of this black color will be better guys. Okay, in the light menu, we're done. We will move to the effect menu guys. Well, in this effect menu, in this photo I will use the vignette, then reduce it here. Then for the midpoint I usually reduce it a little bit guys. Well for the roundness I will add guys here in the area that is almost right align guys. Okay. Well for feather also guys. Okay then guys, we will go to the healing brush tool. Okay. You can get this if you subscribe to add belt room. However, if you don't subscribe you don't have to worry. Actually, with only two settings for this photo, you can already get very beautiful photos instead of the raw photos we can see this is the before and this is the after After we add it with the two menus guys. Well, okay, now we're going to get into the healing brush tool. Well, here I will edit some objects that are too distracting in the background guys. Okay, here I will reduce some of the spots on the back round guys. Well, if you're done using the brush tool, the stains that we don't really want to put in our photos will disappear guys. It's just as simple as brushing on the part where the wheel looks annoying guys. Well now we can immediately click the T. Then the picture will be like this the before and this is the after guys. Well, maybe that's all for this video. Tutorial, guys. I thank you guys for watching this video. See you next time and bye bye. 43. Bye bye !: Okay guys, finally we're reaching the end of our course. But actually this is the start of your journey. Okay, so actually I have some tips for you. The first one is sometimes I also feel that if I start learning something new, it is easy to feel frustrated when we first do the practice part. Okay. It is very easy to feel frustrated like when you first practice. Oh my God, I think this is wrong. Oh my God, this is wrong. Oh my God, I shouldn't do this. I shouldn't do that. Okay. It is very easy to feel that. But the one that you have to pay attention is even for a professional food photographer like myself, when I do the photo shoot, the first 15 minutes of my photo shoot may be like 20 until 25 pictures I take for the first 15 minutes. Most of the time I delete those pictures. Why? Because most of the time I use until 15 minute to trial and error. Okay. So when you are doing your practice, you don't have to be frustrated for your first 1 hour, your first two hour, you don't have to feel frustrated because the enjoyment of this entire photoshoot is the process. When you take the first picture, you add another element. You take another picture, you move the lighting, and you take another picture. To do what? To compare each of those pictures. And finally, you take pen until 20% of the picture that you want to A. Okay. So feel free to change and apply many techniques that I have already shared in the course. And then I suggest to you if you are doing your photo shoot, you can also play this course once again to make sure that you follow every detail of the instruction. Well, I'm so excited to see the result. If you have already do the practice, feel free to share and then I will see you again in the next course. Okay, bye bye.
