1. SS Bachata Pw V2 1 part 3 Intro: Hi, my name is Karina and I'm Jeff to opinion, and we are part of incognito Dance Company. Welcome to the Vishaka partner of course, for employers. In this course we're going to build on all the core techniques that you learned as a beginner and really show you some new techniques and a way to pull this stuff together to give you more rounded experience as a dancer, please do take your time in this course, especially in the first module, which is body movement. This will define how you look as a bar chart that answer. And there's something that we work on all the time, even as professional dancers also will give you lots of tips for your leading and following, which will improve the quality of your dancing in general. And moving on to the next levels. In our experience, the dances that spent the most time at beginner and improve a level really have a good quality of movement. So do take your time as you need to go over any of the core techniques. Do go over them as many times as you want to. Don't rush through these techniques. They're super important and it'll give you a solid foundation. Let's get started. 2. SS Bachata Pw V2 14ab Demo & Diamond Footwork Explained: One last time. Yes. You would have no, at least not worthy of it is just can't lie. Yeah. Hi. 3. SS Bachata Pw V2 14c Diamond Partnerwork: Welcome back my lovely people. We're now gonna show you how to do the Dominican diamond in partner with how you lead it and how you, you can also do it solo in, let me just kinda show something in a solo version how our body shape is different. When we do the diamond in the solo shape or a kind of point my shoulder away to create a line. If I show you visually a credit line. So the shoulder pulls away. Secret is kinda like this. Bat, bat. But that gives a nice dynamic to your movement. Now this will change when you lead, because you lead has to is the priority for the step. So just bear in mind when you're doing it solo, you can add some body shape to it. And I kinda looks nice. Otherwise, if you dance quite static, it kinda looks like step, step, catch, step, step, catch, catch up. It's not as dynamic and movement. So in Partner at the priorities in giving upon information. Okay, So in partner work, as you go from a basic, you're gonna go 123456, pull away seven, tap on eight. So already there's 78 is you're linking and you're telling us something's about to happen, you'll you'll gain it goes attention in a sense of she's going to know that your lead has changed for something different. And then you should already know r, This is what we're gonna do. So Jeff is letting go here. But I know what I'm doing already because this signal was quite clear for me. Okay, so then usually you would do it at least twice or even more, multiple times. Okay? So look at your partner. Don't be distracted by what's going on around you. Really look at your partner and when he's pulling away and as a leader is also good. If you sort of look at the fetal, get the attention of the lady to your feet. So she looks at your feet and then she copies your steps. Okay. Let's do it again. 5678123456712345678, again, 12345678. As a lady, also, make sure you keep your hands nice and up. But ladies, if you do want to copy, then you have the step. Now, let's do from the other side and practicing music. From here, we do basic step 1, 2, 3, tap, ready 678, and step that, Judge Archer, tap, tap, char, char, char. One more. Tap. Tap. Church Archer. 4. SS Bachata Pw V2 14d Diamond Practice To Music: Yes. This pseudo code, at least one of the most GC-MS. 5. SS Bachata Pw V2 15ab Demo & Dominican Switch (2 versions) Explanation For Men: In this section we're going to cover a version of the Dominican step called Dani can switch where best to switch sides. Free for so now money left with my right hand to her lead. So this time around, I'm actually turning my lovely lady to her left. So I go 5678. So ladies for books different. She's gonna explain that in a minute. But for the guys is the same foot work, but the lead is different now. Okay. So you're going one to open up 34. I open my lady up to her left side. You see what is the overlap for a step forward? 5, 6, soma, her hand goes to her Hit button, front right hip. I let go at that point when I got contact with the body, then our tracer across her back and then pick her up again. Like that. Shade again in slow motion. It's about trying to keep constant contact because if you let go and read catch, she's kinda not sure about what you want to reconnect with, whereas he keep connection, then your lead is crystal-clear. Let's again, we go one to then step, step back. Three, tap on for walk forward. Five, another step 6, underneath yourself seven, and tap on eight. So the term sort of starts and finishes on seven. So important of course, is that you keep your collection so you can feel the leader way and then the elite to come forward and to cross. So keep your nice frame obviously, and then your footwork. But the footwork should come quite natural because it doesn't go out of the rhythm of 123, tap 56, 7, tab, so you keep the same rhythm. We just go forward and around. Alright, let's do twice more. 567812345678123456, 781. Thing I do, which you probably saw in the demo video, is, I style it out a little bit, make it a slightly cheeky, especially obviously depending on the music, what my styling is, what my mom, the feeling is for this MOOC, but you can accentuate the little bit. Sticking your palm out like that and leaning forward so you can step out a little bit more. But then you lean forward to keep your frame and keep connection. And then you make it slightly cheeky with sticky your palm out like this. So just play with it. Make sure if you do stick your bomb out, that your upper body still up and you're not leaning forward like this. So just just the hip out. Right. Let me show you how that would look. Where you go. 1234567812345678. So you can play with any movie, can play with and interpret the music, even if it's not worth steps with your emotion and if your expression. So this is the first version. Then we did a second version which is slightly different for us ladies. So in the second version starts to send me go 12, but then on three for the leader lets go of our right hand. And I usually style it up like this. So I just bring it up. You can bring it to the hips. Again. Styling is always very personal. For now, I will style it up like this. So right up to my ear. And we're still stepping back like this and we're keeping the connection. Then we are going to do a turn. So instead of just walking forward and swiveling around, we're actually going to turn. Our turn will be over our left shoulder. We step forward on five to an hour, you left six and then on the spot 7, 8. So before we turned our, our right shoulder and needed the basic version. Now we're going to turn over our left shoulder. Let me show you from this side we go 1, 2, 3, 4. Now step forward on five, turn on my left, 67 on the spot. For us, it's just kind of give you time to kind of rethink, make sure your techniques are correct when your techniques are starting to become really quick off the bat, what we call dancing organically, you're not thinking about the move, then you list, you don't need as many basics in between. Okay, let's try it one more time. One 23, tap 56 with the switch and 1234 switch 67 and the basic 23 tap 56, ready speech and 12345678. Now are they open to the left and lady turns to her left, we go 1, 2, open up and 5678 again. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Ready? 1, 2, 3, 4, reconnect 6, pickup the arm N1 to 3, and 5, 6, 7. Ladies with the styling on the second one. If you do lift up your arm, if you choose this styling, then make sure you bring it down over your head so your elbows days really close to your head and then sort of you brush your hair back and then bring it, bring your elbow forward and down like this. So don't bring your arm down to the size because when you're turning you might hit your partner in the face of your elbow and we're trying to avoid that. Okay. So when you bring your arm up, then really keep your arm by your ear and then bring your arms down like this, close to you and not decide, okay, just deliver health and safety tip. There. Was music. 8. SS Bachata Pw V2 16ab Cuban Switch Basic Explanation For Men: There's been a lot of Q&A. Anyone knows that. We're now moving on to one of my favorite moves, which we call the Cuban switch. It's similar to a move in Cuban, which they do with this switch sides. It's very popular in Zukin, many other dances. So if it's lovely in which, in the modern but shatter. So let me show you the sequence and the breakdown for it from the elite perspective, okay. From this version is going to show you the Cuba switch coming off the lady's left side. So first of all, prepared a lady to free for SOC and hammer lock her right arm on. I had to kinda at least practice it for 56 times before I was comfortable with the step. So it's quite a tricky step. There's many things that can mess up the lead for you. Not just not only me, my partner can also pull away. So you have to be, make sure that you really mark you're leading crystal clear with this one. So 1, 2, 3, 4, turning the lady to her left, 567. So first of all, I'm making sure I'm close to her. They might eight step under and one look across. And about Tamar tend to my left, I'm alternating the hand and check for for sender away. 5678. Which speed? Let me just show you first before you practice in industry, the speed of the dynamic looks 1234567812345678.
