1. Skillshare Intro: Have you ever wondered why certain artist profiles on red bubbles seem like they get all the favorites, all the followers. Welcome everybody to the Skillshare Redbubble automation course. In this course we're gonna be talking about how to automate route red bubble properly to be getting similar results to what you're seeing here. The reality is there's a secret society of people who utilize Redbubble automation to get red mobile sales, to get red mobile attention, and more importantly, to boost themselves in the red bubble algorithm when they create a certain design for a certain topic. If you guys want to learn about that, go ahead and join this Redbubble course so we can go ahead and get started talking about how to automate Redbubble. Let's go ahead and get started. 2. How To Get Your Redbubble Store Seen By Customers: All right guys, So welcome everybody to the red bubble automation course first, let's talk about what Redbubble automation is and how it actually worked. So typically when you start a Redbubble store, there's ways to be seen. And one of those ways is to create designs on other ways is to promote your social media. Have your social media linked to a Red Bull store. But the way that we're gonna be talking about today is red bubble automation specifically favoriting automation to be able to use the favorite function on Redbubble. As you guys can see here. What I'm doing here is I'm clicking on these Favorite buttons are ways to get people's attention in the activity feed of these designers. There'll be notified when I create favorite on their profile. What happens is, is there's people who do this in mass. They favor as many different profiles as they can. And they get results back by those certain creators who see you engaging with them and creating favorites. You get favorites back from that process. Not only in this course, we're gonna show how that works, but we're gonna show why this has beneficial overtime. Now, to keep in mind, the benefits of automation is going to be a long-term growth kind of benefit. It's not gonna be something that your gain again right away. What I mean by that is you have to understand that when you're ranking for a specific keyword on Redbubble, you are competing with everybody else out there. For imagine if I was to go over here and search for Tiger on Redbubble. There are certain keywords that pull up certain designs. In this case, I searched for tiger and you can see there are certain designs that pop-up. Well, these designs gradually changed depending on a few things and this has to do with the red bubble algorithm. Now in the next lesson, we're going to talk about exactly what the red bubble algorithm works and does and breaks it down. But just understand that Redbubble favoriting has a huge part to do with that. 3. How The Redbubble Algorithm Is Affected: Okay guys, so welcome to the next lesson. Right now we're gonna be talking about Redbubble favoriting and how it affects the Red Bull algorithm. More specifically, we're going to dive deep into the algorithm. So the algorithm has three main components that we really know about today. The first one is the amount of sales a design gets. The second component of the algorithm is how many favorites it gets. And the third component is the conversion rate of that specific design. And assuming that these keywords are all competing for the same keyword, or excuse me, all these designs are competing for the same keyword. These are gonna be the three components that are going to hold the most weight based on my research and all the other research that, you know, peers have agreed with. And really when it comes down to it guys, something that we have to all understand is that red bubbles algorithm is a private algorithm. It's not posted anywhere, it's not explained anywhere. We learn this through rigorous amounts of hours and days and weeks, even years testing. And when I say years and a large amount of time testing is the creation of different accounts and studying different accounts, not only my own, but other people's accounts to see really what makes red bubble design rank. Now amongst all of this, what makes Redbubble designs rank? And we said one of those components happens to be the favoriting function. When we go to a design and we hit that little favorite button that will help these designs kind of gain more power in the algorithms. So for example, if we go over here and we searched the word tiger, we scroll all the way to the bottom. And we go over to, let's say, let's, let's actually go to page 12. So let's just type in 12 here in the browser, and let's just go ahead and search for that. We're gonna be on page 12 in just about a second here as our page loads. And what you're gonna see is a completely different set of results. Now what we can do is let's say, let's pick this design in this tiger with the seven eyes. Let's go ahead and favorite this design. Well, what's going to happen is once the results propagate in red bubbles algorithm, this design is going to have the chance to be seen by more people. It's going to start moving up the ranking. Am I moved to the top of page 12? It might move to page 11. It might even move a few spots over. But what really is going to happen is red bubbles going to give it a chance for a short period of time? It's gonna get more attention for a little while. More people are gonna see it. More people that are gonna see compared to what it is really originally being seen. And it's essentially read bubbles of way of testing the conversion rate. Now remember, this is another aspect to read bubbles ranking. So the conversion rate and the conversion rate, basically what it means is that out of a 100 people that click on your design and decide to purchase, how many end up purchasing? That is, what is a conversion or is, let's say four people out of a 100 and the purchasing that end up clicking on your website, well then your conversion rate is 4%, but let's say your conversion rate is 6% or 10%. Well then in that case, you have a higher chance of getting ranked. What this feature does when you essentially automate your red bubble to boost the amount of favorites that it acquires. What you're doing is you're giving it a chance for the designs that you have to move upward into the ranking. Now if your design cannot capitalize because of the way it looks. And this is why we talked about how important designs are if from a creative perspective. If it cannot convert from a, from a design perspective, well then it's gonna go back to its original ranking. And the whole point is that over time, the more designs that you favorite, the better results you're going to get. The next lesson we're gonna talk about how the tool is used, but how I specifically use it and where to get this kind of tool. Let's go ahead and jump into that lesson now. 4. The Automator Tool To Use: Okay guys, so this is the tool that I'm using from Batson apps, Dogamer o.com. I'll leave the link in the Skillshare description for you guys to go ahead and check it out. The way the tool looks is you haven't added to your Chrome extension or you're, you're essentially your extension section and there is a guide on here how to install it. So whereas it here, how to install it and we will show how to do that in this course, so don't even worry about that. But what we're going to do is I'm gonna show you how it works in action. I'm going to explain how it's supposed to be used. So here, what we could do is we could actually searched for tiger and we could go ahead and pull up the tool, which I already haven't. Like I said, I'm going to show you it just simply how it works. We're gonna go over here and we're going to configure some numbers now, just for the sake of this, I'm going to leave this at two to six for now, but I will give you the explanation as to how to use it in just in a few lessons from now. But let me go ahead and show you here we have a favorite quantity of 15, and now we searched the word tiger. So we're gonna be favoriting from all random different artists here. What we're gonna do is we're going to select this start automated button. We all we have to do is just click it simply once. And you can see here it's already working since we set our timer from two to six seconds. So every two to six seconds, it's going to perform one favorite, that two to six seconds delay is randomized. It's, we can't control it. So sometimes it might be two seconds, it might wait. Sometimes it might be six, sometimes it might be for, sometimes it might be five. But the randomizer will never wait in-between, essentially under two seconds, and it will never wait past six seconds to perform an automation. What we're doing, like I said, is we're automating our red bubble accounts here to essentially reach out to people in the whole goal behind this is, is that the people that were, were essentially favoriting, they're going to come back and they're gonna see that somebody has favorited their work. This gets their attention because they probably don't get it often realize that they're on a completely different page. They're not in the first page or the second page then on the 12th page. And what they're gonna do is they're going to most likely click on our profile. And if our designs are good enough, then that user might happen until essentially favorite our designs back. And we get, when we get favorites on our designs, what's going to happen is we're getting more attention to our designs. Red bubble is pushing our designs more, but more importantly, we're getting more favorites because we're getting essentially more attention from the algorithm. And the algorithm is going to take our designs, going to push it essentially to more people. So this is essentially how it works. And you can see here, it's favorited a bunch of designs here, I think, right about 15 designs so far. But you want to keep in mind isn't, Let's just go ahead and just stop this right now because it's already did the 15. But what you want to go ahead and understand is that this is a tool that certain, like I said, a secret society of people on Redbubble utilize this. I don't see too many people talking about this. I don't see too many people describing their experiences with this, but at least you guys will learn how to use it. Now, let's go ahead and get started. By the way, there is a built-in randomizer to the tools. So there are sometimes elements of times where you're gonna see images kind of missed and things like that. And that's made to humanize the effect that at certain times. But let's go ahead and to our next lesson where we could show you guys how to actually use the tool or how to install it rather. 5. How To Install The Favorite Automator: Okay, so let's get into installing the tool. So once you pay for the tool, you're gonna get a zip file that you get to download. So I'm gonna go ahead and pause my screen. I'm just going to go download that zip file that I once had previously because obviously you can see I already installed it in my case. I'm just going to go over here and click Remove because I want to show you guys how this tool actually works. So I'm gonna go ahead and go install it real quickly, and I'm gonna go ahead and get started. All right, So let me pause the screen here and log into my account. Okay, guys, so once you go ahead and purchase the software, just as I have, I went to my e-mail and I downloaded it. You can download the zip file as well and you want to copy your license code, you will see a once you pay for it, we'll go over here and click Show finder. And we're just going to go ahead and extract whatever's in it. So we have the red bowl favorite automated. Let's go ahead and hit extract all. Let's hit extract. You can see here I'm busy extracting the folder. Once it's extracted, you're gonna see two folders. You're gonna see Mac OSX, and then you're gonna see the red bubble favorite automator after it's extracted. Mind you, we are inside the red bubble zip folder right now that after it's extracted, there are these two main files in there. What we're gonna do is this main file here called the Red bubble favor automator, just to click on it. And you could see here how it has a bunch of different folders, library assets, all that. Let's go ahead and go back. That's how you know, it's the right one. So we're not going to open up any one of these, but we're going to go up to the folder that holds all those files, which is called the Red bubble favor automator holds all these files. What we're gonna do is we're gonna go over here and go into our extension. So we're going to hit the three little buttons here on our Chrome browser. We're gonna go into extension. So more tools, extensions. And then what we're gonna do is we're going to drag and drop our tool. So the way we do that is like I said, go to the folder that says Redbubble favor automator. It's the one that holds all this stuff. Now you don't want to drag all this stuff. You want to go back and you want to go to the actual folder that contains it. And you want to just drag it and drop it. If you drag the wrong folder, you're going to get an error that says manifest error. Now if you notice if you did it properly, you want to also make sure on the right-hand corner here you have developer mode on. If it's off, it's not going to work. It needs to be on. Once it's on, you go over here and you drag it and drop it. If that doesn't work, it could be two errors. The first error is that you're just gonna see the file and its location and nothing's going to happen. The second thing that could potentially happen is a manifest error manifests or just means that you've dragged and dropped the wrong folder. If you drag and drop the wrong folder, It's easy fix, just drag the right one, okay, and that's the one that I'm showing you exactly right now. Typically people tend to drag the wrong folder, which is the one that used to be the zip file. You want to drag what's inside the zip file, not the actual zip file. Okay. So that's that. Now if there's an error where you just see like the location of the folder, then sometimes some computers do that. Just go over here to the load unpacked button. You want to find that actual folder that you just purchased so you can look through all your different tools. In my case, I have the red bubble favorite automator here, which is the main folder. We don't drag and drop this one. We go to this one and then we hit Select Folder and then it will add itself. Once it's added, what you wanna do is you want to go over to the right-hand side and hit this puzzle piece icon. Once you hit the puzzle piece icon, look for the red bubble favorite automator. In my case, it's right here and it's not pinned. Let's go ahead and click the Pin button so that it's pinned. Now if you click on it, notice it's going to ask for your email and for your key. I already have that information. I'm going to add it. It's going to take me about a second to do. And I'm gonna go ahead and do that right here. So I have my license here and I have my e-mail. So I'm gonna pause the screen. I'm going to add my e-mail real quick and I'll let you guys know once I did that, you want to click Start app. Okay, so you can see here I've just logged in and you could see it's a start automator and dock. So the docs is just telling you that you have to make sure you use it like a human being, all that kind of stuff. And then here's the start automating. Now for the numbers that I recommend, we're going to go ahead and tackle that into the next lesson. But you could see here, you can just perform a little test and you could leave the same settings that they put from two to six seconds for 30 here, you'll actually get to see that it works. So you could type in tiger, you could type in turtle, for example. Let's go ahead and type in turtle. And we can actually get this to work by after I type in turtle here, or I can go to the tool and I can just click Start and you want to click it once, once you take your mouse and you hover over, it's in turn blue and then that blue effect is gonna go away. But you could see here, let me just make sure that it's on because it didn't start yet. Let me go ahead and reload this. Actually, sometimes you do need to reload it or refresh it because sometimes it will be automatically on, sometimes you need to turn it off and that will automatically refresh the page, and then sometimes you need to turn it back on. So let me go ahead and do that. And there you go. It refreshed. So now I'll hit start because we do need it to work properly here. And there you go. Now it's working properly. So sometimes that does happen, but at least you saw it so that you can know how to use a buffer yourself. But you can see here it's clearly automating the process. Now let me go ahead and turn this off so we can move into our next lesson so I can explain what numbers I recommend you to use. 6. How To Use The Automator: Okay, so let's talk about now the different ways that you can use the automator. So something that I frequently do is I don't actually go out there unlike other people's posts, but I like my own posts, so I go to a store that I own. Let's just say, let's go to here, over here to red bubble. And I go to a store that actually owns. So let's say I own this store by Rebecca gallons. What's go ahead and click on this. Now, I don't own this store, but let's just say I did. I would go to the store and I would start automating on this store. Now, this is a little trick that I learned that you could do this on other people's stores. But you can go to your own story. You can search for your own store. Let's say I search for, this is a fan favorite store. Let's go ahead and go to one of my other stores. Let's just pick on any store here. Let's go to the loo creation story. We're gonna loo creations. And what we'll do is we'll just start the automator here so we haven't bunch of photos that we can like. And I can just click Start automated. Now the automators gonna start based on ten to 30 seconds. I don't want that, so I'm going to turn this off again. I want it to be a little bit quicker just for the sake of this video. I'm not when I automate, I'm not going mat slow. I'm going a little bit faster, excuse me, a little bit slower and not going that fast. But I will leave it from two to 52 to six seconds as it once was. Just so you guys can see the speed here. I'm going to hit Start. And what it's gonna do is it's gonna go by it's own page from two to six seconds to start favoriting things from this person store. And the reason why that's important is I can search for my own stores and do this with my own stores instead of going out there and favoriting other people's work and hoping that it actually getting me, it gets me results. What I like to do is I like to favor my own work. Now, you can and B do very, very well favoriting other people's works. And I wanted to show you an example of somebody who does that on Redbubble and is extremely successful. I'm gonna go ahead and stop the, stop the automation tool here you can already see it's followed. It's like a bunch of works already. I mean, the list just goes on and on and on, but I want to go ahead and stop this so you can see exactly what I'm talking. 7. How I Use The Redbubble Automator: Okay, so let's talk about now the different ways that you can use the automator. So something that I frequently do is I don't actually go out there unlike other people's posts, but I like my own posts, so I go to a store that I own. Let's just say, let's go to here, over here to red bubble. And I go to a store that actually owns. So let's say I own this store by Rebecca gallons. Let's go ahead and click on this. I'm not when I automate, I'm not going mat slow. I'm going a little bit faster, excuse me, a little bit slower and not going that fast. But I will leave it from two 5s, two to six seconds as it once was. Just so you guys can see the speed here. I'm gonna hit Start. And what it's gonna do is it's gonna go by it's own page from two to six seconds to start favoriting things from this person store. I mean, the list just goes on and on and on, but I want to go ahead and stop this so you can see exactly what I'm talking. 8. Proof That Others Are Doing It With No Problem: So I wanted to go ahead here and head over to my activity feed. Because I want to show you this one account that I follow. It's called Murray charism that I fall on Redbubble. And you can see this person is a very large account, 9,439 designs. That's that's a lot of work that's being put into this count. My estimation is this account is making over ten to anywhere from ten to 20 thousand, maybe even $30 thousand a year on this account, completely passive. So what I think you could see here is after this person uploaded older designs, you can go over here to load more and you're actually going to get to see how many likes that, that this person posts. So how many favorites is person does? You can see here the favoriting starts over here ten hours ago. And you could see here's just countless, countless images. Every time I click Load more, you could just see more and more and more in the list just goes on and on and on. And you could see here that there, like I said, it's like almost like a rare society of people that do this. Now, I've shared this before. If you guys follow me on social media and things like that, I've shared this before, where you guys can see the favorites where this specific account does this, but there are other accounts that do this exact same thing where they favorite so many other people's designs you can see here. So let's just click on this design for example. And let's click on this design. And let's click on, let's say this design. You probably can see, I mean, there are probably by random people. So this design is by gift wherein the golf GIF, this person is magic, DQ, and this person is jungle poppy. So you could see here, there by different accounts. And what this person is doing, this account here is she's favoriting all these people's works just so she can get the favorites back into her designs. So it can boost in the red bubble algorithm that's going to create the sales for her and with the amount of designs that she has, over 9 thousand designs and doing all these favorites, you can see, I'm not the only one doing this. There's other people doing this. That's leading to a lot of different sales here. And it's leading to a lot of different results. So if this is something that you're gonna get started, just realized that if very small percentage of people do this. 9. Can Redbubble Ban You For Automating Redbubble : So a lot of people get worried when they see very few people doing this. And they think, like, What should I do? Should I do this? Is it safe? Is it not? Well, here's living proof. You could see here in a period of just a few hours, the first interaction that this person had was literally, I can't even tell. You guys can see. I'm scrolling through the first was seven hours ago. I'm recording here, it's looking, you can see here that the activity log 16 hours ago, there's still liking photos. Now. It's no. First of all, if this wasn't allowed, this person would be banned immediately. The people who do this on Redbubble would be banned immediately. Currently, this is something that is completely allowed. Now. If there was something that wasn't allowed about it, Redbubble would take it down. Now the thing about this is that this is a regular human being following this stuff, but they're using a tool probably like the one we're showing. What the solution here is, is that if you decide that you want to do this, realize that there are other people doing this as well. And this is very effective over a very long period of time. You won't see a result overnight. You, when I say a result, let's be clear about what results mean. You're not gonna get necessarily sales overnight or maybe you will, but it's not a guarantee. What this is, is this is an overtime period of growth, the same way that you join Redbubble and create designs on Redbubble, right? And there's no guarantee that you're going to get sales. This is the same way. There's no guarantee, it's a possibility. And this is why I always stress why design skills are very, very important. At the end of the day, you can be ranked number one on Redbubble. But if you're not constantly upgrading your design quality, doesn't matter. If a million people see your design, you're not going to get a single sale. So from now on guys, when you're creating designs, keep in mind that all of these different software tools can help, but they won't fix the main problem if you can't design well. So designing is the most important aspect to this whole process.
