2. How to Transcribe in Premiere Pro Quick Overview: Welcome to this lecture. In this lecture, I
will show you how to auto transcribe any video in Premier Pro for audio transcribing the videos
in Premiere Pro, you have to have the
version 22.3 at least, and I'm using 22.5. And I hope you have
already downloaded all the language pack using
the Creative Cloud app. And now let me show you this is the video for which I want
to create the transcription. So if I just right-click and select the auto
transcribed sequence, you can see that this
has been grayed out, reason being that it doesn't
work with the video file. So you need to create a
sequence in order to use it. So now let me get a sequence or a simple way is click and
drop it over the timeline. And that's going to
create the sequence. And now you can see the sequence
icon is right over here. A new sequence has been created. Now in order to transcribe
this video or this sequence, I would right-click and select
auto transcribed sequence. And this is going to open
this dialog box right here. Or you can go to the
text panel as well. If it is not shown over here, just go to the Windows and
then click on the Text option. And that way this text
would be visible. And from here you can also click on the Create
transcription. So that's the second way. If you click on this, again, the same dialogue
box would be opened. You can see right now over here. So here we have the option to choose the language
of this video. So in this case,
it is the English. Otherwise you can use different language back
like this, English, UK and Spanish, and Japanese
branch or Hindi origin. So whichever you have, you have to just download
and install that package. So in this case, I have
downloaded the Hindi. That's why this cloud icon is not visible right over here. And similarly for the
English and UK as well. So these are not by
default installed. You have to manually
install them using the Creative Cloud
apps or the method I have shown in the
previous lectures. And now the second option is that you can audio clips
tagged as dialogue. So you can select
the audio clips if you have just tag
them as dialogues. So you can choose that option. Otherwise, just
click on this one. This is by default, is available because
we don't have the multiple audiences available in this particular sequence. So it only shows this option
and that is grayed out. So now you can choose
the audio track. You can track the audio track
like by default it's mixed, or you can choose
the dialogue so that shows the name of
our audio track. Suppose we have one
more audio track. Let me show you if I have one more audio track
right over here. And if I click on the
Create Transcription, and this time you can
see I can choose or U2, or dialogue or mix, mixes, basically mix
of all the audios, whether that is a background
music and dialogue and sound effects or other
audio tracks as well. Alright, so we can choose
the mix in this case, and you can check
this by default. This is jagged. Recognize when different
speakers because are talking and you have
also the option to transcribe In-N-Out
find only suppose you don't want to transcribe
the entire sequence. If you have created a certain portion audio
to be transcribed, or you want to transcribe
certain portion. In that case, you can choose
the in and out and create interest to pay it in pint and over here press OK
to create the outline. Now, if I click on this
day transcribed again, I have the option to Tuesday, I will choose default. And now they can see this
option is now enabled, Skype in an out
point only for it. And then we have
the option to merge output with existing
transcription. So if you already have a
transcription and you have added some bore audio and you want to
transcribe that as well. You can check that,
but I don't want, I want the transcription of the entire timeline or
the entire audio glycans. But just to save the time, I will do Skype only In-N-Out
pint and thereafter, you can click on the transcript. So if you press it,
you can see over here, it start initializing the
rendering audio data. And it has started
working this magic. And it might take some time depending on the
length of your system. You can see transcribing
on device earlier, it used to upload the data
to the cloud and then it used to transcribe
there and then download again the system. And that process used
to take lot of time, but it diversion
22.3, it had changed. It is now language pack
has been installed directly into our system so that it says a lot
more time and boom, you can see the transcription
has now been completed. So if you want to see it, just drag it over here so
that you can see it clearly. You can choose the ones who see that in a large font or
in the smaller font, or the medium colon,
or the large ones on the large ones so that you can just edit out what it says. So if I just played over
here, just notice over here. Just notice over here, just shows all the
words which I'm speaking and just
listen to this. And if there is something
wrong or something has not been recognized properly
because it does happen, it is not a 100% accurate. It is around the 95%, okay? So it works very magically. You can change any words. Suppose you want to change this, but like over here. So I can just double-click and that would allow
me to edit it. Then I can, I want, I want to use, okay, and then I can display it. Similarly, you have
the option to just do or edit any of the word, which as a matter of mistakes in the
organizing your voice. But most of the time it works. Perfect. Alright, so this is
how you can create the auto transcription
in Premier Pro. In the next lecture, we
will learn how to add it is transcription and do different
stuff with this, okay.
3. Introduction to Transcribe or Text Interface and creating transcription in Premiere Pro: Alright, so in this video, I will show you how to
get the access to auto transcribe options or auto,
auto transcribe panel. So when you have already
created a sequence, then if first of all, you have to check your
Premiere Pro version. So for that purpose, just go to the help and click
on the About Premiere Pro. And over here you will
see the build version. So 22.6 is current my version, but the auto transcribe
option is available in the version 22.3 and onwards. So if you have not updated
your Premiere Pro version, then obviously you need
to update it and only then auto transcribe
option would be available. Alright, so now in order to get the access to the auto
transcribe option, first of all, there
are two ways to get the access to the auto
transcribe option. First is going to the projects. So if I click over here
and that's my project. So this is the project panel, and I have to click on
any of these sequence, which I want to create, the auto transcription
or the transcription. So I'll right-click and
overhead you will see this option auto
transcribed sequence. And once you will click this, that's going to open this
dialog box right over here. And we can choose language. We can choose which track
we want to do this. We'll come over here later on. But now let me show you
these second method. And second method is by
going to the texts penance. So this is the exponent. If it is not visible over here, just go to the Windows
and select the exponent. So just click on this and that bit would be visible
somewhere around here. Okay? And if you want to see that which
workspace I'm using, then just click on this here. This is the new
workspace button. So if you click over here and
I'm using the essentials, so you just have this one. And that way it would be
similar to my workspace and that would be very easy for you to follow along, right? So that's the text
than a look at. And I have already created some others
transcription from here. But if I want to do this, I'll click on this over
here on this little dot. And I would click on the,
the Transcribe Sequence. And then again, the same
dialogue box will be open. So you can use either way to get the access to the auto
transcribe options. So again, from here, we can choose any language and we can choose
the audio analysis, whether you're on track, one where the VIX mix or
audio or anything else. So let me show you about
this option once again. So over here I have
multiple tracks. As you can see, audio tracks, this is the analog track
and this is the background. So if I want to transcribe this, let me just create
a duplicate of it, of this sequence so that it doesn't get ruined because
I've already done this. So I'll right-click
in this sequence and click on the duplicate. So that would create
a duplicate copy of this nested sequence. Okay, So now I
would right-click, and that way it's very easy to select auto
transcribed sequence. And that would open
up this dialog box. And overhead we have the
option to choose the language. So if you have, your
audio is in English, you can use English or if
you have other language, then you can choose that
and you might be see this cloud icon next
to every language. That means that language has not yet been
downloaded or install, or that language back has not downloaded and installed
on your system. So you need to download it, cost and how you
can download it. You can download it
right from here as well. But if you see that there is
no icon next to it that is this language already installed similarly for the
English and UK. English UK, I have
already installed this. Alright, so I'll just
select this one and then we have the option of
audio analysis. First one is the audio
clips tagged as dialogue. So if you want to the
Adobe Premiere Pro to analyze the audio track which has been tagged as dialogue. So at this moment there is no audio track which has
been tagged as dialogue, then it won't show over here. Okay, so over here we have the option to
choose which track, whether it's going to take into consideration all the tracks. So for that purpose you
need to select mix. But if you want
only the dialogue, then you can select
the dialogue track. Or if you have not renamed it, it would appear as
audio or audio to here. Dialogue is ND or VoiceOver
is in the dialogue tracks, so I'll select this one and
then we have the option to transcribe in
and out wind only. Suppose if you have created
an in and out point, then you can choose this
option at right now, we don't have In-N-Out wine. That's why it's great. And then we have the option of merge output with
existing transcript. And so suppose if
you have already created the
transcription and if you have added some portion
later on and you want to merge that transcription
into the existing one, then you can choose this one, this option, but there
is no such thing, so it's grayed out, then we have the
option to choose this. This is by default jagged recognize when different
speakers are talking. So suppose if you will, more than 2% or more
than one person talking or doing the voiceover
or speaking dialogues. Then in that case it's going to recognize as a speaker
one, speaker two. So now the next option is
click on the transcript. So once you click on this, you will see on this panel in the texts when it has
started the process. So you can see creating
audio transcription, auto transcription
transcribing on-device a few seconds remaining, right? And suppose there is a language back which you have
not installed, then it's going to download
and install that first and thereafter it's going to
do the auto transcription. So it might take some time, depending on the
speed of your system and the length of your audio.
4. Customizing Options in Auto Transcription : Alright, so the
transcription has been done. So you can see right over here, all the transcription is done. So let me introduce you to the interface of
this text panel. So over here we have the
Transcription option, we have the caption option, and then we have the
graphics option. So the transcription is
by default is selected. And once the transcription
has been done, you can see all the transcription
would appear over here. So if you have
multiple speakers, then you will see the
speaker one, speaker two. And if you want to rename it, then you can edit the
speaker and then you can rename it to anything
like in this case. Okay, So that's a speaker one. You can even change
or add a new speaker. So you can add a new
speaker, speaker two, and you can rename it like John, okay, but in this case
there is no wrong. So I'll select the harsh, harsher speaking sometimes
it doesn't recognize. Alright, so this is the option
of selecting the speaker, and then we have the option of searching overhead so we can
search anything over here. So like the 20, so it's going to highlight
that are in the transcription. And suppose we want to
change the Adobe Premiere, Okay, then it's going
to highlight all those. And then we can double-click and we can just change it
to something else. So we can quickly do this with the help of this
one search option, and then we have the
option to move or down. So if we have selected
any of the words, then we can split the
segment from there. So like over here, if I click on this
split segment, that's going to
create a new line, and that's going to
split that area. Okay, so if I want to undo it, or you can merge segment. If you click on this, it's going to merge it again. So that's for the split
and that's what margin. Okay, so now we can
just check this out. So we'll go in the beginning and just notice on this panel
and then you will play this. Let me just mute it so
that you don't see. So if you just played, so it's going to highlight
all of these words. And if you want to see the large preview or
the smaller brush, you review of this. So you can click on this
to make the text smaller, or this one to make
it even larger. Or if you want the big texts so that you can easily
check them out. So if you just lay
on the timeline is going to show each and every
word which you are speaking. So that way you can find out whether that word
is wrong or not. So if it is wrong, like in this case, it's E, S6, so it's CS6. So I'll just double-click
and correct it. And then it's going to do this. So similarly, if you plate, you can see it's going to keep on showing you which you are speaking to if it has committed any mistakes,
which it does. Obviously, that's
not a 100% perfect, but it's very, very close. Maybe around 95%,
it does the job. So you can just
connect them this way.
5. More Options and Exporting transcription in Premiere Pro: There is one more option. This is for creating
the caption. So we can create the
caption using this option. But there's one more
oxygens right over here. So let me show you. So this is for re transcribed sequence. So if you want to
read, transcribe it, suppose something went
wrong and you don't like the transcription and you
wanted to retry again, then you can click V
transcribed sequence, and then we have the option
to export the transcription. So if you click on this, that's going to open
the explorer so we can choose where we want to
save this transcription. So over here it does it transcription Premiere
Pro transcription. And we can click on
the Save and that would export that
as a transcription. Then we have the option
to export as a spine. So if you export it, this
is going to be a text file, so we can export it. And then we have the option
to export to CSV file. We can export it as a
CSV file and then we have the option to
disable auto scrolling so that way it would not
scroll and check spelling is by default selected
check spelling settings. So if you click on this, then it's going to show you
this English Caribbean. So you can choose any language
in which you are speaking. So I'll select the
English, India, and you can even type some words which you
want it to look like. So if you type any word,
click on the Learn, but if it is somewhat
a misspelling, then you can type that word
and click on the fork. And that way it would
forget that world. So it's basically an AI, so we need to train them. But there is no such
neat as I'm concerned. I'm using it for
many months and I haven't seen any
problem with this one. Okay. So all the
options are done.
6. Creating Caption and available Options Premiere Pro: So now let me show you how
to create the caption. So this is the caption button. So if you click on this, that's going to open up a new dialogue box
right over here. So over here, if we
have the Create from sequence transcription or
we can create blank track. In the blank track there
would be no transcription or the subtitles
or these options. But mostly by default, let it create from subsequent
sequence transcription and then captions leave it as
default, subtitle default. But if you want in any
other particular format, which is different
for different country like Australia or
something else. But by default it works fine. Okay, so just select that. And here we have the option to save the current setting
as a preset as well. Or you can import
some presets if you have previously
saved the preset. And then we can export currency setting as a preset as well. And then we have the
optional choose format. So in this case by
default subtitle is good, but if you want something else, then you can choose
other oxygen. Normally I use it for YouTube videos or subtitle
works fine for me. And then we have the option to choose a style so we
can click over here. So I have already created these styles which I
will show you when we will learn how to edit the transcription or
the captions, okay, then I will show you how
you can create a stack, but by default there
won't be any style, so you will just
select the none, and then we have the option to choose the character length. So if there is one line, we can choose how many
characters should be there. So we can just drag
it down or drag it up to increase more
words on the screen. But I would prefer to keep it
by default or if you want, you can just drag it to
something like this. So I'll just keep it
default for D2 and then we have the option to
minimum duration in seconds. So what should be the minimum second offer that to caption? You can choose from here. You can increase
it or decrease it. But by default, it works just fine so you don't
need to touch it. And then we have the
option to gap between caption so we can
increase that as well, but by default it works fine. And then we have the option
to choose the single line or the double line whenever
there would be subtitle, you can choose whether
to display that in one single line or double line. So by default, double
line is selected, you can choose single as well. I mostly create these
single transcription. So you can see single and then
thereafter you will click on the Create and then it's
going to create the caption. So you can see one
new caption track has been added over here. So these were the earlier
which I have created, and this one has
created the new. So now in the screen you
can see if I just play it, you can see these subtitles or captions are now showing up. In the next lecture, I'll show
you how you can customize this subtitle or the
captions the way you want.
7. Formatting Captions in Premiere pro-Part-1: Alright, so now in this
lecture I will show you few more options for
customizing the captions. So over here you can see the captions have been
created in the text panel. So that was the transcription. This is the caption which
we have created Ole. So we can select it. And if you want to edit it, just double-click it and
you can just type anything. Alright, so this way we can
customize it and then we can search any particular word
from here, like Premiere. And it's going to
highlight so that we can see and quickly
just change them. So that way it's going
to change, right? And then we have again
option to move it down. So if you click on this down, so that's going to down it. And if you click up, that's going to just
move it up, Okay, Not the line but the screen. Okay? So that's basically for scrolling up and scrolling down. And if you want to replace it, so you can click on the replace and replace with this word. You can replace
like Premier Pro, if it is written a wrong way, like Premiere Pro, you can replace it with one
and then place all. And that's going to
replace all the options or all these words that's
very easy to edit, just remove it and then we have the option to
spread caption. So if you have like over here
one to split this caption, I'll click and that's
going to split it. And if you click on the
merge is going to merge. Okay, so I'll press undo it
because I don't want that. And then we have the option to some more options if you
click on three roads. So here we have again option
to export as an SRT file. Srt file is subtitle file, which is very useful for
uploading on YouTube or on any platform that
requires the SRT file, because SRT files has
the timecode as well. So we can click and
you can export it. And then we have the option
of exporting as a text file, CSV file, or disable
auto scrolling. Okay, So that is also good. Don't need to touch
that because let it be auto scroll and check spelling
and spell check setting. So these are the
same motion which we have in the transcription
right away. So now, once we have done how to customize or edit
these captions. So now let me show you how
to format these captions.
8. Formatting Captions in Premiere pro-Part-2: So now let me show you how
to format these captions. So at this moment, this
is default caption and it may not look that good. Okay, So now let me show you
how you can customize it. So in order to
customize the captions, you need to go to the
Essential Graphics panel. This panel is right over here, but if it's not shown over here, Let's go to the Windows and select the
essential graphics. And that way it will
be visible over here. So once we want to customize it, so first select any
of the caption. So I have selected
the caption tracks. Not all, we need to select the single or
individual caption. So I'll select this one
or you can even this way, then we can come over here. It has selected multiple items. So it will show you that you
have selected all the items. But if you don't want
the multiple item, just select these single one. Alright, then we have the
option to drag style so we can select the track
textile to textile two. So we have already
created style, but I'm going to show you how to create the style
from the beginning. So from here we can
choose the font. So by default, your default
font would be visible. So my red Pro is
the default one. But if you have
any favorite font, like in this case, I have the font and
got them black, so I'll select this one
that's going to change it. And then we have the
option to choose. It's whether it's regular or
a ball, but here is nothing. So I won't be able
to change that. And then we have the
option to change its size so this caption size, so if we increase it, you can see that's going to
increase the caption size. So you can increase it or
decrease it the way you like. I'll go for something
like this device, just have it in default format. That's good, okay, and then we have the option to
choose its alignment. We can choose it left
alignment, center alignment, or right alignment or justify, okay, So by default I would
prefer the center alignment. And then we have the all
the option to increase the space between these words. So we can hover our
mouse and drag it. So that's going to add
more space between the characters so we can
hover mouse and drag it. So that's going
to add more space between the characters or
the AD will click on the 00, that's going to have
the default one, then we can increase the
line spacing as well. So suppose it has no lines. Let me see if he hadn't line. I think we have created
these single line, so it won't be available
right over here. Then we have the option
to choose Sox ball. We can make it, it LA, okay, we have all these old
gaps so we can make all there and all these
options which we can do this. And then the second next
important part is this one. So whether you want
the option to V at the bottom of the screen
or on the top one, it's the rope that's going to be on the door of the screen. And if you want in the middle, that would be in the middle. And similarly, you have all
these options so you can customize and place it anywhere you like by
default it at the bottom. So that looks good. But if you want, as you
can see in this case, it has hidden the
text underneath it. So I would click on this
one and just drag it out. So that's going to move it up. And if you click on this, this is the vibration and
this is the explanation. So if you want to
drag it on this side, just hover your mouse and
drag it on this side, okay, and if you want to
drag it on this side, it's going to multi-site, okay, then we can scale it from here. Okay, so just leave
those and if you want, you can just work with that.
9. Formatting Captions in Premiere pro-Part-3: And then we have the option
which is very important. So if you click on this cell, we can choose any color. So in this case, if I
choose red color from here, so that caption would
be in the regular. You can see if I
choose something else, like I need to select
the color from here. And then I can move
whether I want the hizo tradition
low saturation or so. Basically we can pick
any color you like, and you have the option to change it as a linear
gradient as well. So in the linear gradient you
have to select two colors. So click on the bus to
select the first color. So in this case, let me choose green and click on the second on this solar stove and less change a to
something like this. And you can see this
tax has been created. And similarly for
the radial gradient, radial gradient means
here you have equals one would be in the
center outside, okay? So by default, solid is fine, but it won't be creative. Then you can choose
any rating and press, Okay, then we have the option
to choose these strokes. So reject is that going
to add some store on the x and we can increase the size of the
stroke from here. So at this moment it's 1 if we increase it so you
can hover your mouse, you can see it has IDD or
you can type it as well. So let me have, let's say then bind stroke. And you can see this
has added the keyframe, then we have the option
to add the background. So if I uncheck this
stroke and click on the background and it's going to select the color.
You click on the color. You can use any color. So in this case, let's
say black color. So if I select that
color, then we have the option to
choose its opacity. So at this moment by default, if 75 per cent just
increase it to 100%, let's make it 100% and
it's going to add a lack. Or you can let say, let me show you so that it
will be clearly visible. So you can see it has
added a yellow background, but if it is not offering
it yet or it's not large enough so we can increase
its length or its size. So we can scale the
background brown here, so we can scale it
something like this. And then we have the option
to round the corners. So if you want to
make owners around, just increase it, okay? And bonus would be down. And then we have the
option, all of these, we can choose the angle
of the shadows and etc. Shadow is enabled. You can choose the shadow, but if you don't want
shadow, I just uncheck. Okay. So you can choose the
shadows angle, et cetera.
10. Formatting Captions in Premiere pro-Part-4: The style if you want to
save it and use it later on. So what do we have
to move a little bit over here in this
option drag style. So go ahead and click
on the Create style. Style is not available
reason being that you need to select the
single option from here. And then if you go to
the Essential Graphics, and now if you click
on the track style, you can click on
the Create style and you can just give it a name like my new, if you can press. Okay, and now if you
click on the style, this style would be
available over here. So we can choose any of these deaths immediately
for all the caption. So this is how you can
create the captions or you can customize the
caption and create your own unique style and use it later on very easily
or all the captions. You can even select the different captions
for different parts. So suppose I have this far
like and now I suppose I want, I can go to the
Essential Graphics and I can choose this
time takes time. And you can see this is
in the different options. So this is how we can
create these styles, customize the captions the way we want it. So
thank you so much. See you in the next lecture.
11. How I lost my Subtitles or captions in Premiere Pro Course: I created auto captions or subtitles in Premier
Pro for my video, but when I exported the video, I could not find any
captions or subtitles. If this happens
when you then check out this video till the end, very carefully, because
if you miss any point, you will miss the whole thing. So even after creating
the captions, when I exported the video, I could not find
any caption there. Why? Because I missed one important
setting that later on. But before that, let's first
understand the basics. There are two options
to export the videos with subtitles or the
captions in Premier Pro. Number one, exporting subtitles as a side car by number two, hard encoding the
subtitles in the video. If you choose the exporting
subtitles as a side car, by, then you will get an SRT file, which allows your
audience to turn it on or off as per their own liking. If you choose to hot and cold the subtitles in
the video itself, then your rivers will
always see the subtitles and they won't be able to turn
it on or off if they like. This option is very good if you are making these or shorts, because many people watch
it without the audio. And if your video has the
subtitles Encoded within that, then they would be able to enjoy the video
even without audio. Isn't that great? So if you don't want to lose
the caption just like me, then you need to do this. So here is how you can
do it when you go to the Explore option in
Adobe Premiere Pro, in the latest version, come down to the captions
tab and toggle it on. And if you click on
the drop-down menu, you will see both of
these two options. To either be option whether
you want to burn this as a side car file or are
encoded the video itself. Similarly, if you are
using the old versions of the pyramid row or you are using the Media Encoder to
export your files, then go to the subtitles tab, and here it is placed
on the right-hand side. There are two press the export. And now up to exporting, you will see the subtitles burned within the video itself. And if you have collectively
been as a side car file, then you will see us text
file or an SRT file. And if you will open it, you will see all these
subtitles with the time code. Now, you can upload it to
YouTube or any other platform. And your viewers will be able to turn it on or off if they want.
12. Buring Captions or Creating Sidecar Files Premiere Pro 1: Welcome to this lecture. In this lecture, I
will show you how to burn these captions
within the videos and create a side car
subtitle files or dot SRT file so that users can use
it at their own convenience. So now as you can see
that we have already created the captions
for this video. And you can see on the bottom these captions are showing up or the subtitles are showing up. Now, let's go to
the export option. And from here, you can
just choose any preset. And I'm using the S2 64. And from here, make sure you
come to the caption option. And if the switch is off, make sure you turn this on. And from here you have the
two option creates Sidecar, file or burn caption
into the videos. Make sure you
select this one and just give it a name so that we can identify this file
and we'll press Export. And that way these captions would be burned
within the videos. Once that export is done, let's go back to the
folder, export folder. And over here, if
you just open this, we have a single file. So you can see on the bottom, these captions are showing up. You can see all these subtitles. If we right-click and
select Subtitles and C, there is no subtitle
tracks because these subtitles are
burned within the video. So now let me show you how you
can create a Sidecar file. Again, go to the export, and this time from
the caption option, select the Create Sidecar
file and let's export it. And this time it's going
to create a separate file, separate subtitle file for this. So let's go to the
export folder. Over here you can see
we have two files. One is the video
file and second, this one is the SRT file. And if you want to just open it, this will not open in normally. So right-click and open with and select notepad
and press Open. And over here you can
see all these captions have the time code and everything is
written right over here. Alright, so everything
is organized. Now, let's play this video
and let's see how it works. So if you play it
and you can see now there is no
subtitle, alright? So if we right-click and
select the subtitle, It has already selected
the track one, but still, the subtitle
will not show up. You can see, no
matter how you try, you can disable it, but still the subtitles
will not appear over here. The reason being that
we have only selected a portion of our sequence. So we have created
an in and out point, and that's the reason it's not showing up the
subtitle because it got confused because there was lots of material
in the beginning. There was no caption for that. And this caption
starts very late. But when we exported this video, this video starts
from the beginning. So that's the main problem. If we would have exported
it the entire sequence, then the captions would
have shown up over here. So now let me show
you how to fix it. So in order to fix this, you have to remove the
beginning part and the, and part of that sequence
and you have to keep only that portion of which we
have created the captions. Now, I have done it. So now let me exported, create a Sidecar file, and then I will press export and let's export
it and exporting is done. Let's go to the export folder. And over here you can see
we have the video file and the Sidecar file
or the subtitle file. If you open up, you can see now the subtitles appear in the
bottom section of the video. And if you right-click
and select subtitle, select track, and you can
see we can disable it. And once it disabled, the subtitle will no
longer appear over here. And let's enable it.
Right-click subtitle and select track one. And now you can see the subtitles do
appear on the screen. So this is how you can
burn the captions within the videos and export
them as dot SRT file or subtitle file so
that your users have the option to turn it on
or off. So that was it. I hope you found
this course useful. If you did, please make sure you don't forget to
leave the review of this course and do check out my other creative
courses as well. So thank you so much. See you in my next course.
13. Update Lecture How to use Text Based Editing in Premiere pro 1~1: Adobe as introduced a
text-based editing workflow. This new Text Based
Editing takes advantage of Auto Transcription. In this lecture,
you will learn how to use this through
text-based editing, workflow and edits funded times faster without further ado. Let's get started. Text Based Editing
is right over here. So you can work 100 times faster with the help of this
Text Based Editing, which has recently
been introduced by Adobe Premiere Pro 2023. So if you don't have the
access to this picture, then make sure you upgrade your Premiere Pro to
the latest version. And now let me show you
how we can do this. So first of all, you
have to click on a new project and import
window would open. From here we will
take a 1 video. I'm going to take this video. Alright, so overhead, you have some settings
like import settings. So over here you can
create a new went that way in all the clips which you are going to select right from here, that would be bought into urban, then create a new sequence. That is also what it's going to create a automatically
a new sequence. But it would be
better if for the, Adobe could introduce
with the Auto renamed Based on the
first clip you select, but unfortunately it gives
you a default sequence. So you can just change it
to something else, right? So I'm just writing this one. Then we have the option of
automatic transcription. This is basically new feature. If in this feature
is not available, that means you don't
have the latest version. So core to the
Adobe Premiere Pro, make sure you have the 23
point for 0.0 or above version or thereafter you have to just toggle this on
automatic transcription. From here you can choose the
language of your module. So by default, if most
of your videos or in English than you
can choose this one otherwise Hindi,
Russian, Italian, Korean, whichever is your
default language in which will make the videos are due or adding the videos,
you can select that. Then you will have the option and that is enabled
language auto detection. So that means even
if you have selected English over here and you'll
video is in Hindi language, then it's going to automatically
transcribe that for you. And it's going to automatically detect and the AAC language. And then we have the option
of nibbling the speaker. So if you will, video clip has multiple speakers
than you can select. Yes, separate,
multiple speakers, that is going to be speaker, one speaker to speak,
UBS Rick read. So I'll just keep it separate speaker and
then we have the option, this is Auto Transcription
only clips in the sequence. So if you have a sequence and certain clips are
in that sequence, or if you insert those
clips into the sequence, only those would be Transcribe. But if you select
this, auto-transcribe, all important clips, that means all the clips which you are going
to import into your project that
would automatically be transcribed so that you
can add in them easily. Once all these
settings are done, just click on Create and it's going to create a
sequence for you. And if you go to the text panel, you can see that
right over here, it would start automatically transcribed this sequence
or this clip for you. Once that is done, we will
be able to use this option. And meanwhile, we can change the workspace to the
Text Based Editing. So if you click right
over here, Workspaces. And then here they
have introduced new workspace and that
is text me is Editing. Moment, you will select it. All. The windows wouldn't
be raised in a bag. Over here you have audio
field transcription. Then this is the
timeline and the review. And right over here, you can
just do whatever you want. Most of the time, it
gives you the accurate to Transcription
up to 90 per cent. But sometimes you have to change certain words because it
depends on how you speak. If you speak clearly, giving proper stress
on top of words, then it's meant to give
you the output result. Alright, so now you can see that Transcription
is already done. Now we can start
working on this. So here we have
only one speaker. So One speaker, one you
can see everywhere. So if you have the
multiple speaker, it would have been
speaker 2.3 and so on, right over here you can
see if we click on this, that is 4.4 second gaps. So if we select this, that's
going to automatically set, make a selection of this
gap on our timeline. Right over here you can see it's going to make the selection, but this is not working for you. Make sure you check this
option automatically set in and out point if it is not enabled than nothing
going to happen. So if we select any word, so let me just remove it
and if I select anything, that's not going to
select anything. Alright, so make sure you check this option for, for doing this. And then if you
select this Going closely like the empty
space right for you, and it's going to be
at In-N-Out find. And then you can simply press
backspace or you can simply press the inverted comma key and that's going to delete it. And similarly, you
can just select all of these and delete this. But if this doesn't
work for you, then make sure you
select this option. Display pauses as dot, dot, dot. If you disable it, then it's
not going to show anywhere The empty spaces. So for that purpose you
need to select this. And then you can simply press
the inverted comma key, and that's going to
remove that part for you. And if you suppose you want to change this to something else, just double-click it
and just write it. But suppose, if you want to have this part at
the end of the clip, so you can simply just
copy all of this. That's going to
make a selection. And then you can simply
press gut, extract. And then you can go to the and, or wherever you want. Let suppose if I were over here, I can simply paste it. So that will be pasted
right over here. So this part has been
moved right over here. So it's very easy. And SIPOC now, you
don't have to listen to the entire video clip and see what's wrong or what
were the mistake is, or where are the
poses or spaces, etc. you can simply just go through this Word document
like a Word document, and then you can simply select the part and delete
it and edit it. So that is going to make
your productivity very ****. And believe me the moment
I got this feature, I'm not using the
traditional way where I used to listen
to the entire clip. I used to come back and
then delete the using the ripple delete option and
then adjusting everything. But this has made
the life very easy. This feature very amazing. And there is one more thing
which I want to show you. It's so suppose, if
you want to select a particular words like
suppose Premiere Pro, just type it over here and that's going to
highlight everywhere. So wherever you have used this word that
would be selected, then you can simply
select that, delete it, or make changes or whatever
you worked at this moment, it is not going to generate the video
Based on that taste, but in future that technology will also
be right over here. Once you are done with this one, just simply click on this
and create captions. Alright? And you can create
captions and do other thing. Let me show you the
another use of this one. So if you go to the project
and create a new sequence, alright, so I'm going to
create a new sequence. If I go to the
Transcription option, you can see it automatically selects said this new sequence. And here we don't have any clue. What if we want to
work with the clip? So what do you can do? Uncheck this follow actively
monitor option from here. And then you can select
this clip or the sequence. Just select this clip
or this sequence. If I select this clip, and in this clip we
have everything. And this is the new sequence
which I am just created. And if I want to
insert certain parts, so I'll select that
part like this one. And I would click on the Insert. That's going to insert
it right over here. Similarly, I can go
through the entire clip, select certain part
and click Insert. And this is how you can easily go through
with multiple clips and select the part of that clip which you
want to keep an, you can just also delete the part of the clip that
you don't want. Alright? So you can see I have now very easily created
the sequence. I can then adjust it further
and do whatever I want. So basically the Text
Based Editing is really, really game changing feature
14. Audio to Text Effect in Adobe Premiere Pro: Video, I will show
you how you can show the words on
screen while you speak, rather than typing them
manually, each and every word, you can use this trick to automatically do this for
you and save more time. But let's dive in
and start learning. Alright, so first of all, in order to create the
auto transcription, again, we'll go to the text panel and click on the
Transcribe Sequence. And over here, we're going
to choose our language. So in this case, it's English, and I'm going to let it
select the mixed track. That way it's going to work. Then I would click
on the transcribed. It's going to say take some time and the transcription
would be done. So now transcription is done. And you can see right over here. So first of all, I'll
correct any spelling error. So I'll check and correct
the spelling error. So spelling has been done. So now I'll show you how
to search and replace. So in this case I'm going
to search for epoch number. So I'm going to copy this. And over here, I just
searched for this word. And I would click on
this replace option and replace with you and I will type it and then number, okay? And then I would click on the place that's going
to replace the first. And if I click on
the replace all, it's going to replace
all of the words, right? So once that is done, now it's time to
create the captions. Okay, So in order to do that, we need to click on
this speed captions. And from here, obviously
we are going to choose everything
as default style. We don't have any style, or if you have any style, you can choose that cell. So let me select the
text style, this one. And over here, you
make sure you select the maximum length
slider and you drag this maximum length
slider to the minimum, and minimum is 71, okay? And then minimum
duration in seconds, Let's drag it down to 1.2 s. So you need to drag it then
you need to click once. And that way it's going
to stay over here. Minimum duration of
these seconds is 1.2 s and then gap
between the caption, let it be zero or
default and make sure your lines here from the lines you see like these
single option. So now everything is done and now we are ready to
click on the Create, and it's going to create the captions and one's
caption all done. Now you can see they have
a single, single word, unlike the other way
where it used to create the multiple
lines or it used to have the multiple words in one particular captions
or subtitles right now just played so you
can see whatever you are speaking that is coming
up on the screen, rather than just typing each
and every word yourself, you can use the auto
transcription feature and that it's going to work. And suppose if you don't want to have each and every
word to appear, something like this on the
screen, then what you can do, you can right-click over
here on the subtitle, drag, and click on the Add
tract and just press OK, and that's going to
add a new track. Then what you can do, you can just select all of
these and drag this upside, get, and then you can turn off that track and turn
on the bottom one. And suppose you want to just keep only the beginning
part in this world, or they want to show only the
beginning parts as a Word. So you can just drag and drop over here on the subtitle track, which is now open. If you just played, you can
see now this one shows. And then if you
suppose you don't want this word or some part of it, then select that by dragging
with your mouse and drawing over it and then
pressing Shift and drag it up. And then you can see that
part would not be visible. So here you can have your talking head video
or anything else. Like let me just show
you the example. I'll just place it over here
so you can see over here, it shows this is my
talking head video. And if I want from here to only show the words and not me, and what I can do, I can
make a cut over here. So in order to make
a Kirk and use the eraser tool or you can
press Control K or Command K. Or like me, I have
a customized D E, so I can use that one. And from here I'll maker. And then I can
click on this line, this opacity line, and
drag it down. That way. After this, I'll not be visible, but only words be visible. And then again, I will
be visible light. So again, you can select
any part of that. You can show that part, okay. And again, you can make a
cut of that part that you don't want and go down the
opacity to zero per cent. Or you can even go to
the Effects panel, effects and control panel. And from here, you can
also choose the opacity. So by default is hundred percent you can lower down into Europe. But that way you can use the auto transcription option
or the caption feature and create some creative
full effect on your videos that you're
weavers would be more engaged.
15. Auto Transcriptions Tips and Tricks: In this video, I will give you my tips and tricks
using which you can use the auto transcription
feature of the Adobe Premiere Pro in a better way if you follow
these tips and tricks, the end result which you
are going to get from the auto transcription
feature in Adobe Premiere Pro would
be closer to perfect. So let's see the tips. Ept number one, this
step is very important as this would give
you the best result. And that is,
whenever you recall, makes sure you speak
each properly. So if you don't speak
words clearly than auto transcription option may not work the way it should be. Make it a habit that
while you record, you speak each and every word clearly and the
correct pronunciation. Or if you are editing
for someone else, then you can ask
that person to speak was clearly at the
time of recording. That way you can save a
lot more time in editing and correcting the
spelling errors of the auto transcription. Now, let's take the
tip number two. Tip number two is
make sure you rename your dialog track as a
dialogue or otherwise, you must select
the proper track, whether it is audio 12 or three, in case you have multiple
audio tracks on your sequence. That way the auto
transcription AI, artificial intelligence
could identify the right track and work on it and ultimately
give you the best result. But sometimes somehow
we accidentally select our background music or any other track which doesn't
even have the dialogue. So in that case, the end result would
be something else. So don't get surprised, select the proper track. Now, let's take the
tip number three. Make sure you check each
and every word after the auto transcription is done before creating the
captions or subtitles. Since this is an AI software and it tends to commit
some mistakes. And in order to get the perfect subtitles or
captions for your videos, you must check each and every
word for spelling error. If something is not correct, make sure you make changes to that transcription or
that word beforehand. Otherwise, you
will have to spend a lot more time correcting
the captions or subtitles. Now, let's take the
tip number four, make sure you select the right language which
is off your audio. Sometimes what happens
that we don't choose the right language or the
original language of our audio. In that case, the end result
will never be direct, it would be something else. Obviously, always, always selected the right
language of your audio. So these are my best tips and tricks which
you can use to get the perfect result from the auto transcription feature
of the Adobe Premiere Pro. Anyways, if you still
have any questions, make sure you leave
that in the Q and a section or the
command section. So thank you so much. Please don't forget to
leave the review and don't forget to check out
my other courses as well. Bye-bye. Have a great time.
16. New Enhance Speech in Premiere Pro Beta: Adobe has just added an amazing feature to
premier pro beta version. And this amazing feature is the Adobe speech announcement
or voice announcement. So using this new option, you can make your
voice sound better. You can enhance your
recording to the grade level. You can remove the
background noise automatically and echo
as well, reverb as well, and would also make your
sound look more professional, like it was recorded in
a professional studio. So now let me show
you how you can use this feature and
enhance your speech. So the new feature,
which has been added in the Premier Pro Beta has been added in the
Essential Sound. So if you go to the
Essential Sound, you will find the N feature, but right now I have
not selected anything, so that's why it's
not available. So this is the sample
recording I've done. And let me first make a
new sequence out of this. This is the recording, let me show you and let's
listen to this, how it sounds. I'm recording while the fan is on and there is a lot of traffic going on outside and there
is a lot of echo as well. Let's see how this audio is
going to be improved with the help of the new feature of the Primero. Let's find out. So as you might have noticed, that there is a
lot of echo going on and you can see this area, this is the lot of noise in order to use this latter
switcher of the to Premier Pro. So what do you have to do first, you have to make the
selection of the clip, and then you need to come over here in the Essential
sound panel. Over here you will find
this new option auto tag. Just click on this auto tag. If this new feature is
not available for you, just go to the
Creative Cloud app. And then over here you
will find the apps. And over here, if you go down, you will see the beta
apps or beta apps. So here you will find
the premier pro beta. And you need to just install it, or by now, whatever it is. So you can do that
and install it. I've already installed
it and I'm using that. So you can try it out and thereafter this option
would be available for you. And if I just show
you once again. So in order to use
it, first of all you have to make the
selection of the clip. So I've selected this clip, so you can see if
you click on this, that's going to select it. And then come over here in
the essential sound panel. And here you will find
this new option auto tag. So if you click on this auto tag thereafter you will find
this enhanced option. This button will not be
visible unless you select any of these or just
select that one auto tag. And thereafter you can see, you can click on the Enhance, and then it will
start the processing. You can see 6% 12% and you will also find the
processing right over here. Okay? And once the
processing is done, then you have the option. You can see this is the slider which allows you to control
the level of announcement. So if you want the more
annuncement, you can increase it, but by depot is 0.7 So now let
me show you how it sounds. Now I'm recording while the fan is on and
there is a lot of traffic going on outside and there is a lot
of echo as well. So let's see how this audio is going to be
improved with the help of the new feature of the N. Let's find out and if you want
to increase its strength, if I increase it to let's say level one,
that's the maximum. Then let me show
you how it sounds. Now I'm recording while the fan is on and
there is a lot of traffic going on outside and there is a lot
of echo as well. And you can see
it has completely removed the background noise. All right, and if I
just slow it down, something like let's say
0.2 now if I play it, I'm recording while the fan is on and there is a lot of traffic going on outside and there
is a lot of echo as well. You can see it now.
Still hear the noise. So by default this
is just works fine. But if you want, you can increase it to
something like this, 0.8 Because if you'll
increase more, that would sound a little bit hollow and it
would be empty. So this has done a
very pretty job by removing the background noise
and enhancing my speech, making it more crispy. And it has also eliminated
the reverb or the echo which was there
because there are so many empty walls in my role. So now this is the final
which you can listen. I'm recording while the fan
is on and there is a lot of traffic going on outside and there is a lot
of echo as well. And if I disable this enhance, if I uncheck this one
and this is the before recording or this
is how it sounds before applying any
enhanced speech option. I'm recording while the fan is on and there is a lot of traffic going on outside and there
is a lot of echo as well. And you might be able to
hear this clear difference. And what do you have to
do after doing this? You have to just
render this part out. All you have to do,
right click on this and click on the render and
replace what will happen. You have to select
only the audio and to select the audio only. Because what happens
now if I just clean this and if I want
to start making editing, making editing on this and if I make a cut
right over here. And then if I just
try to play it, you can see you will see this option rendering
audio 1.2 previews. This is quite annoying. If I do it once again, like remove this empty space, and then again it will
show me the same option. So that's very annoying to me. So for that purpose,
I have found a way. So all you have to
do, press old or option and then
click on the audio. So that way only the
audio would be selected. And thereafter you
need to write, click and then click on this
render and replace option. So what's it going to do? It's going to render this audio and that's going
to replace this audio. So if you go to
the project panel, you can see this sample audio. And if you hover it, you will see the
audio extracted. Name of this at the end
of this has been written, so this is the final
audio which you will get after doing all of this
enhanced option, Judge. Now if I make a cut
anywhere you can see and if I play I
can easily plate now. Now if I want to, so
you can see if I press the space bar and there
is a lot of echo as well, so now it no longer shows you the rendering required files or rendering required
odio, right? So that solves problem. All right, so this is
a very good feature, and if you have not
tried it, try it out. If you have any question, always leave that in the
coming section below. Thank you so much. See
you in the next video.
17. Amazing New Update in Text Panel-Premiere Pro Beta: We had just released
the Spring 23 update to the Premier Pro and it has
now added some cool features. It has added the
enhanced speech option. If you want to know about this, I've explained in
my previous video. If you have not watched that, go ahead and watch that. Now, let me show you
another feature which has been added in the
Premier Pro Peter version, and that is in the
text to speech option. So right now you can see I have this audio and this video, and you have all these
transcription done. So now the new and
very amazing feature which saves you a ton of time is this one here. You will see this
filter option here. By default it would
be on the text. And if you click on
the filler words, then it's going to show you all these filler words
available inside it. Okay. In the entire
transcript it will find all the filler words like over here, like over here. Now if I want to
delete all of these, so I can click on the delete, and there is option I can
delete all by doing this. It has already
made automatic cut to all this sequence, okay? And then there is
another option. If you click on this and click on the poses, then it's going to show or
highlight all the poses available in the entire
recording or video clip. And then I can choose the
option to delete all and boom, all the gaps would be
deleted very easily. And if I click on this, then
we have the option of poses. Okay, Poses we have
already covered. And then we have the
option of search setting. If you click on this, that's
going to open a new window. So here you have the
option to either check, find whole words only if you search something
right over here. Then it's going to show
you if you click on Transcript to you here you
have the option to enable. You might not have
these options. Filler words and low
confidence words and ultra transcribed sources, speakers and poses here. You can also decide the
***gth of the poses if it is half an inch
second or you can just increase to 2
seconds, 3 seconds. Or you can even lower
it down that way. It's going to show you all the
poses which are available, if they are at
least 0.25 seconds. If you save and if you again. Now click on this filter
option and click on the poses. Now you can see it has shown
all these poses which were earlier not there because I have selected the 0.5 seconds, so these are the less
than zero pi 5 seconds. And if I want to
delete all of these, so if I click on the delete, see what happens
right away, Elite. And you can see all of the poses are now gone
from the entire this. So that is a very, very amazing feature
and that's going to save you a lot of
time for violating, and that way you
can add it super fast with the help
of this new option. So I hope you like this latest feature of
the Ab premiere pro beta, and this is the
spring release 2023. And if you have any question, always leave that in
the compensation below. Thank you so much,
Seven. The next video.
