1. Introduction: Hey guys, I hope you are ready to learn something. Suddenly new and amazing. Tired of buying gifts, make one on your own as easy as that. And the best part is you can choose what you wanna do. If the ordinary laces aren't interesting enough. Try earrings or necklaces or even dresses. Now, let's keep it simple. My name is Anna and I come from Slovenia and the best part is, now I think we had a Buspar. Well, the better best part is that less is originally from a small town and fluid. And that's why I'm here to teach you how to make an authentic Bob and Alice grand style. Stick around. And let's get creative.
2. Needed Materials: Hi guys, thank you for joining me in this course. And today we are going to do materials and other things you will need. This is Apollo, Stan is wooden and it is a must-have. Next thing is the pillow. It is round and firm. Bob wins also, wouldn't. You can see the letter curve in that's where the thread is going to be. And obviously you will need some threat. I advise it to be a little bit thicker than the usual ones. And this is how the wind that Bob and look like. They can be different colored, but try to have as many widens as possible. And I'll tell you later why. You will also need pins. I prefer the ones with the head because in that way you can stick it in with your finger without getting injured or you can use the ones with the big head. You will also need a crochet hook. I use the 0.6 millimeter one. You can use whichever you want just as long as it's not too big. And also some type. Later on, you will also need some scissors, some paper. And yeah, this is for starters enough. Click on the next video.
3. Preparing the Bobbins: Hi guys. Welcome to the second video, which you're going to find out more about how to prepare. The Bob wins. So first thing we want to make sure is that you have placed the thread on the bobbin correctly. You can see and you can help yourself with the drawing on the left side or mixture that the bobbin is turning inwards so to the left. Now that you made sure that you place the threat correctly, you are going to notice that something is not yet quite right. And why I dropped about, it's going to fall. So there's nothing stopping the Bob and yet, And what's the solution to it? You take the thread and replace it on your hand like this. You circle around with the bobbin and then you put the head through the loophole and then just pull apart. And that's it. In this way, the bobbin cannot fall. If I show it again a bit faster, again, you go around the Bob when you place the head through the loop pole and then pull apart, as easy as that. Moving on. At this stage, you'll want to know how to lengthen and shorten the bobbin thread. If you rotate to the right and pull the thread with your left hand apart, you will lengthen the threat. And if you want to shorten, now look closely. You put your index finger, entered the loop like this and then rotate left. You want to make sure that you're really pulling with your index finger. We're left index finger. And this is how you adjust the link. As you probably have known. Bob wins always come in pairs. And that's why it's important to know how to put them together. So you take the right bobbin thread and you place it over the left one and you create what I like to call bunny rabbit ears. Then you go with the right bobbin thread around your finger behind the ears. And then by four years, and then you rest ABAB and on your left side, like this. And then you take the loop and you go around the ears, making sure that the ears went through the loop. And then you take the Bob and pull apart and make this beautiful. Not that's it. And now that you've joined the two Bob wins, you don't want the not to bother you while doing delays. And that's while take the loop off of your right bobbin and rotate it to the left. And then rotate the left one inwards so to the right. And you can do this simultaneously and moving the knot onto your right Bob and as far as possible so it doesn't appear on your bobbin base. And then you make again the loop, making sure that the bulb and stays in place. And wallah joined Bob and thank you again for watching and I'll see you in the next video.
4. Beginner's Braid: Hi guys. In this video, I'll teach you how to make a beginner's bread. It's super easy and important for your first step to doing above and lays. For this, you will need to pairs of bubbles that are already prepared to be used. If you don't know how to join them together, watch previous videos on how to do so. I like to rest. My Bob wins when I prepare the PO like this. And what I always advise as to stick some pins on the side of the pillow because it's very useful and handy to use right away when you need them. Just put a couple of them, three or four for the start. And then you place one in the middle of the pillow. Like this. You take one pair and you hang on the pin. And then you take another one. And you put it around the first one. Always making sure that the pen is not fully stuck into the pillow. And at this point your one or adjust the length of the bubbles on how to do so. You can watch also one of the previous videos and how to prepare the province. It's easier to work with them if they are the same length. Don't make it too tight, nor too long. Enough to have the right feel and the hands. And if we begin to take all four of them and you cross the middle ones, left over the right one. And then both bears to the left. And again, crossing the mental ones. And both to the left. I think it's easier to follow the drawing. So again, left over right, and both pairs to the left. And again, keep repeating this process till we get the grip. And the nice feeling. And when you've done about five centimeters, put a pin in the middle between the pairs, adjust the length if needed, and continue. And then again, you take the pin and place it in between the pairs, making sure that the braid is attached to the pillow. And what I advise you to do is make the braid all around the pillow and ending at the beginning. So practice, practice. Now let's say that you've practiced enough and that you are satisfied with the Brady roommate. If you want it to be even longer, go another round, make another circle. And in the end, it should look like this. Find tight braid. We're going to learn how to finish it in one of the upcoming videos. Just for now, we're gonna take the scissors and cut like this. You'll want to remove depends. And look or tube made. Even. And wonderful. Thanks for watching and see you in the next video.
5. Tips & Tricks: Hi guys. In this video, you're gonna learn some cool tips and tricks that are gonna help you while doing the bobbin list. If you have confronted some issues may be already. We're going to learn how to solve them here. So problem number one, the knots have shown. Is this okay? And what should I do? I mean, isn't going to bother me. Let's see. This video is based on the previous one in which we made the beginners braid. And now I've made the braid long enough so that the knots showed. And what now? You simply just take the scissors. Whoops. Take the scissors. And then you could as close as possible to the not so that it doesn't break like this. And problem number two, I've cut so much and now the thread has separated on the spot where it was. Can I do anything? Of course, I have run a simulation. What to do if you pull it too hard so that it seperates. I have a way of successfully joining them together with a very, very strong not that I like to call the dead naught. And what you basically have to do is create a loop with the bobbin that has fallen. And I'm not really sure how to describe it with words. Exactly what I'm doing, but watch carefully. It's one of those that pops up when you pull the thread, a part like this. So basically you do a loop. You put the thread through the loop and put it like this. And then you take the tray that was left on the pillow and you put it through a loop and then carefully pull apart. So you hear a pop like this. And this, well for sure a guarantee, not break. And you will be able to continue doing the bobbin place without any further complications. And so as you saw, you take the scissors, cut as closely as possible and simply continue working. Thank you again for watching and I'll see you in the next video.
6. How to finish: Hi guys. Welcome to my new class in which we're going to learn how to work on a template and how to finish. We're going to start with something simple. So in the previous class, we have learned how to make this simple braid. And now we're just gonna do it on paper so that we make sure it's straight. And then it has all the stops and dots on the right place. So this is the template we're going to use. It's very simple. I'm going to attach it down below so that you guys can use it. So first what we're gonna do is secure the paper that we don't damage it by puncturing with the pins. And that's why we're going to use some tape to secure it. Just type it over the line. And that's it. This is how it should look like. Now, what we're gonna do is attach the paper to the pillow. And for that, we're going to cut the edges first so it won't bother us. And now we attach it with the pins. So now that we have everything ready, we can start with the simple braid. If you don't know how to do it, check the previous class. I'm not going to show this again. It's just simply doing the same pattern as we've learned already. Know you continue doing this. Again, practicing, practicing. And when you reach the first dot, that's the place where you put your first pin. Like this. Keeping sure that it's follows the straight line. And then you do practically the same thing till the end of the template. Like this. You can see it up close as well. Nothing special, nothing new. Just follow the line and I'll see you at the end. And here we are. The last thing we have to learn is how to finish. Also one of the basic things always used no matter what you're doing. So you take one of the pairs, you can adjust the length so it doesn't bother you. And then you take one of the two and put it over the other. And then the bottom ones thread has to go over the top one. And then you pull apart. So it creates an OT. Again. The threat of the down one over the top one. Really easy. And you do it twice for each pair. I'll show you for the other one again. Adjust the length. It doesn't matter really if you put the leftover right, or the other way around. The important thing is you just have to take the thread of the down one and then put it over the top like this. And then pull apart. And when you've made two knots on each pair, you can then carefree, just cut it with the scissors. You can remove all the pins you want. I'm just going to show you up close how the knot looks like. It's basically just two simple knots we all know on each pair. And thank you for watching.
7. Simple Pattern: Hi guys. I'm glad you're watching this video. And I'm happy to say that today, we're finally going to work with more bobbins. Will continue with the previous template. And as always, we're going to secure the paper with some tape like this. For the mineral pattern, we're going to need three pairs that are going to go straight down. And for those we'll need pins, likely 32 on the sides and one in the middle, like this. And then you'll take three pairs there are already joined together and hang them. On each page. Like this. It's useful to have the pins a bit more out. So it's easier to hack. And now you're going to need an extra pair. There'll be your leading pair, which basically means it will do the zigzag pattern and you hang it on the right pin besides the other already hang. And now looking from the distance, we have a lot of buttons in one place, five pairs to be exact. And we have to kinda tidy up a bit and make them equally lock. So it's easier to work. Now, as you may have guessed, we're going to start with the pen that has two pairs. And we'll do the zigzag pattern as I've mentioned before. And you basically take all four in your hands. I'm not sure if you can see the arrangement up-close. That's why I attached the photo. They live basically do the same pattern as you were doing it with the braid. Except this time you leave the right pair as we are traveling to the left. So you rested down and then you take the other one into your right hand and take the next pair, I guess. And then do the same thing. Leave the right pair, and then switch the left one to your right hand. And again, leave the left one. And since you're at the end, you pin it down where it's drawn. And then you do a few terms. I would say three is enough. And now we're traveling to the right side, doing the same thing, just the opposite, resting the left pair and switching the right pair to the left hand. And again grabbing the next pair, leaving so a chain and so on. And now again we arrived at the end. Should look like this. And when you find a pin, you place it on the side. And the leading Paris traveling a lot, you'll want to adjust its length. And then again, you do a few turns. Three is enough and start traveling to the left. Purpose of this exercise is actually to kind of get to know the mess that's going on all in one place and keeping it tidy at the same time. So this is how it should look like if it's done, okay. And none of the bourbons kinda mixed up. If it happens, you will see a cross or some irregularity. And this is why this wide boat is for to kind of expose the mistakes. I recommend doing it all the way down so that you gain lot of practice. And you cannot get the right feeling in your hands and get used to the mess. And this will be it for today's video. We've created our first pattern. Thank you so much for watching.
8. Simple Pattern - straight edge: Hi everyone and welcome to the last lecture of this class. I decided to show you how to do the smooth edge of
the same pattern, shown as in the previous video, which is actually commonly used. We start off again with
four pairs of bobbing pens, and we place two pairs on
one pin and the other two. Like this. You start as you did in
the previous video, doing. Starting on the right side
with the two pairs and then with the leading
one going to the left. Now the difference is that
when you place the pin, you actually place
it before the both. If I show it a bit closer, this is still the process. So as you reach the end, you take the pin and
place it to the right. The both pairs, and
practically leaving them both outside instead of just one
as in the previous technique. Now you just take
the leading one, place it over like this, and continue your work and
leaving the first pair undone. If I show it again. When you do the last pair, you place the bobbin
before the both. Then take the right
one, the leading pair, and place it over and continue. You can also make a
variation and rotate the last pair before you do
it with the reading one. And therefore creating a
more straight and uniform. Which is actually a good
practice for our pattern that's frequently
used in most designs. But we will get to that
in the second class. If we compare the
first technique by leaving only one pair
outside to the other, It's obvious that you create
a smooth and straight edge. So thank you for watching.
