In the lesson resources is blender file which contains all the assets and the character that we are going to use to create our 3D explainer video for this class. So you will not to model anything, but I will explain briefly on how I model the assets and how to use and animate the character that is in the scene. Therefore, we are going to mainly focus on animating clips in blender which we will later edit and mix with audio effects in Premiere Pro. (You can even go an extra mile and add your own effects from other softwares like Adobe after Effects if you know how to use them). And even if you a beginner to blender, this class is beginner friendly, you can follow along and learn.

1. Introduction : Hello, there. Welcome to met three D Corporate Es Prena At in Brenda and Premier Pro. And method three D explainer add on demand in the corporate world, as they effectively market product and services in an engaging way. But in the first video class, I'm going to show you how I modeled some of the assets and how to use my character, which is in the scene, how to use its leak and how to unmet it. Introduction to character in the scene : So the first thing in creating a corporate three D explanato you have to have a slipt to create the sclipt. So you have to figure out, you have to come up with a script, and some can give you their own script, but you should keep in mind that an explanavideo or an explainer ad has to be as short as possible, 25 or 30 seconds. Company X is the data company, right. They want to advertise their data pack and their MFi. And also for the asset, you don't need to model or the asset on your own. You can download some free asset on the Internet all right. Firstly, before we proceed, I'm going to show you how I created some or the asset that are in the scene that we're going to use to make our explainer video. Also, I'm going to show you how to use the character that is in the scene, so let's go into it. So this is the bland f that we're going to find in the lesson resources, which we're going to use as we made our three D explainer add. I'm just going to explain a little bit more about my character. This is the character that I made and elect her myself. I'm just going to show you how to use her and how to use the league. All right. This league I made using two different league. You can just select them, and then You can be selecting which layer you want to use. For example for the hand. You can select this and place g to move. You can see. If you want, you can activate the mirror here. Let me isolate so that you can see clearly. Place slash on your keyboard to isolate if you don't know how to isolate. This is the character. You select the layers from here. For example, for the face and the highest, it is this first layer here. If you want to move the highest, you select this. The next layer is for making facial explion, right. If you want to close or to make an eye blink, you can place G and circles layer and make an eye blink like this. The third layer, this one is also for detailed explosions. It helps to make some detailed explion on the face. If you want to close the highest completely, this is what you do. We've made an eye blink, as you can see. Here on the timeline, for example, If you want to be adding keys automatically, you have to activate this auto king or at so that every action that you make on the link, the keys are automatically added here. When you activate autokin for example, we are on frame skis. We've made this ye blink. When you select and add the keys, place y to add the keys. When you go to frame 55 and begin to make some changes, The keys are automatically added here on the timeline. When you open the yes here, on 55, it automatically adds the keys. Let me show you how to make an eye blink. Just select all. And place out G to undo the transforming that you've made, so place out G. All the layers has gone back to the original position. When you box this ski he and copy and paste the mono frame 65, place control it to copy and come on 65 and place contro to paste. We've made an eye bring. As you can see, when we play the admion, we have this. That's ts for the face. Also, if you want to open the mouth, this is the first layer you can use. This is what you use for the chain. Even if you want to the hard ting, the first three layers is what you use. A. For the body, it is this layer here. As I said at first, you can place shift and select all the layers if you don't want to get confused when I'm meeting, just place shift, activate all the layers, activate all of them, and this one here is for the for this base. So now, when you activate all of them, and then you can begin to dissect the layers that you don't need so that you don't get confused. You can place shift and dist it. Also this one, select it and come here and select it. Modeling And Assembling Assets : In this video class, I'm now going to show you how I modeled and made some of the acid plater in the scene. For most of you guys who were new to modery. I'm just going to briefly show you on how I made some of the stuff in here right. And also, I'm going to show you how to add the video clip playing on the screen or the laptop or the phone right. So now let me show you how I made some of the acid in the scene. Let's start with the laptop. So this is the simple lophle laptop I made. It's very simple. I just started with the cube, made it frat. And then duplicated to make this monitor. It is very, very simple. I'm just going to show you on how to add the clip playing on the screen. Also, I'm going to show you on how to add the keyboard. We are just going to make it quick. It's a very simple one. It's a lop pole remember. We don't want to complicate things on the scene, all right. To add the clip on the screen that to be able to play, you have first to select the screen, all right. Place control plus one on your keyboard to go to the back autograph view and then select the screen a on the laptop, all right. Like that. I think we'll be our scleen area. We go to the material panel over here, place on add new material, and then we're going to place on assign. We've assigned this new material to the screen, let's rename it as a scleen. This is our scle let's open up the new panel and here let's change it to the Sada. On the Sada or, we're going to add an image texture. Then connect the color to the base color. Select this image texture and place controt if you have activated the node angler. I'm sure you know how to activate the node angler. I to add the mapping and texture coordinate. Now we're going to add the video clip that want to be on the screen. All right. So you click here and open the video clip and we go to where the video clip is. The video clip is also in the lesson Lsurces. You can get it in the lesson sources. Here is the video clip that will be on the Scle Place open image. It has come perfect on scleen. Let's open the new window and make it a UV editor. UV or this one. This is the UV I made earlier. What you do as the clip is still selected, you have to be in the back autograph view, and then come on U V here and place on project from view, right. When you click project from view, here on the UV editor, we're going to open the video clip that we've just added. All right. So come here on the image blower and select the video clip that we've added. So this one. So now we are going to arrange this UVs to make them fit the video clip. Select place to scale it out and scale it in the x axis. Like that. As you can see, the the video clip is on the screen. Now to make it play on the screen, you have to come to the just close this window. We don't need it anymore. This is the image texture. So tick here on cyclic and also on tally flesh, and on flames here, you have to add the flames later on the timeline here. We have 250 flames. L t 250 flames here and enter. When you go to play, the video clip is playing on the screen, right I. As you can see. Let's just reduce the specular. All right. That's how you add the image clip on the screen. Let's now add the keyboard here. We're going to use the same process, Place seven on your keyboard, go to the Edit mode. So this is the area where the keyboard is going to be. Select the faces here up to there. All right, and come on material. Click on Add New material. Place on new and type keyboard, and place on a sign. We're going to add an image texture texture image texture, connect the car to the best car and place control. Then let's open the keyboard. This is the keyboard that we're going to use. Also here as the axes are still selected, we go to U V to here, and then go to the vertex selection mode and come on U V and place on project from view. When we go to the shedder editor, reduce the specula here. Okay. That's how you add the low pod keyboard and the image texture for the keyboard, and also that's how you add the video clip on the screen on the laptop. On the material for the keyboard, make sure that you connect the Alpha, to the normal here to give this contrast. Also before we proceed, let's add an emission to the screen or the laptop so that it can give some kind of the light light screen light. Select the material for the screen here and between the PS df and the material output, we are going to put the mixed sheder right So Search mix Sader this one and then connect the sheder to the surface or the material output. Here on the second sheder, we're going to add emission, this one. Then on CRA, we are going to duplicate this litem video clip. Please shift D and duplicate this material videoclip. All right. And then we're going to connect the color to the color or the emission, like that. As you can see the difference. The screen or the laptop is now emitting some light. You can reduce the strength or increase the strength here. Let's just reduce it a little bit to 0.6. And that's fine. For this project, this is okay, but you can make you can add some other details if you want to make it more detailed to make it realistic, but it's time consuming. For this project, we can I can plifer just to add an image texture like this. We don't want to waste much time. Okay let's go back to other things and see how we made them. For this behind here, this one, I also started with the cube. I made the cube and flattened and made it into rectangular and then added the wood material from the material b that comes with Brenda. About this table, it also very simple. The same way I made this book behind, it's the same way that I made this off a table here. For the picture, you just add the cube, make it flat, you put it, and then you add an image structure just like that. For the sulfa, you add also a cube. You add a ivo, you duplicate it, and then you add a black material. As you can see, this is the low pole so far, there's nothing much about it. So Behind here is the plane. This plane is emitting the light, that is coming from the window. When you go to the lender view, the light that is coming from outside, this light, it's coming from that plane. So to make that this plane emit light, it just on emission on materials. Let me show you from the shedo a here. On emission here, usually the emission is black, so it doesn't emit light when it's black. When you increase this value to one, it's now in white, and then you increase the emission strength, so that it's on 20. This can is material is also set to translucent PS dF, so that as the light comes from outside, some of it is able to pass through the cat, I think there is nothing much. All these are the books. You just create a plane duplicate it. It's very simple to do, even the papers that are on the on the table. These are just a plane. I just cleated them and put them here. This phone is also very simple, the same way we did with the laptop. Just a clear cube scratch down. As you can see, someone can tell that lets a phone. It's a low pole project. There's no need to complicate things. And also, when you add a lot of stuff, a lot of materials, a lot of realistic things when lendering is going to be slow. So I decided to make it as simple as possible, right? So for now, I'm going to show you how I modeled I I modeled the Mifi. So the Mifi is the main topic of this explainer video. So I made sure that I make it more realistic. So let me quickly show you how I made the Mifi. So I placed shifty A and added a plane, I scaled down. And then I added the difference image, scaled it down, and then I selected them like this. And then I aligned the plane with the shape or the Mifi in the reference image. I added the solidified modifier, increase the thickness. I added the shape auto smooth. I applied the solidfi modifier. And then I added the leflnce image for the side view, and I modeled the shape of the Mfi as in the iferens image. So after adding all the materials, this is the M. I just added the s image, the same fernce image that I added this one. So I selected the top faces, the all top faces, and then came on U V and projected from view. And then I aligned the top se to fit this area of the Mifi. This button here, I added the circle and extruded it inside, and then I added two different materials this side and the other side. For this little light here, I added small planes. When you go to the edged mode, you can see that these are planes, with the different material. When you place hell, you can select it as you can see, this a the plane, and then I added an emission. And here on emission strength, I set it to ten, and here on emission, I put the color to gleen that it's like emitting some kind of a green light. This is the M fi When we go back, this is our MFI. Okay, this is all about this video. This is how I created this asset, later in the scene. I'm sure most of you knows how to model most of this asset, later in the scene, right? So in the next video, we are going to begin animating and eclipse that we're going to letter in Adobe Premier 4. Animating Establishing shorts: As I said earlier, we're going to start by showing our character Stuck in the non network. Alright. We're going to show her, we're going to admit her stuck in the non network, like she's been impatiently waiting for the network to load on her laptop. Alright. So we're going to fast and meet the camera movement. The camera movement will act as the establishing shot for our Eplener video as we show the non network on the screen, and we later on capture our character, just the facial explosion of our character. So we continue making clips. We have to make as many clips as possible, that we later on edge in a premiere pro. So let's go into it. Hello, guys. Let's begin to stage the first s. Let's close it and let's go back to the scene. First, we're going to start capturing the laptop and we are going to admit some actions from the character. The camera is here, place one on the keyboard. Let's open the new window. Here we're going to put on the camera view place slow so that we can see as we position our camera. Just move it down a little bit like this. Here lotate it like that. But before we go anywhere, come here on the camera setting 04 length, it's 50 millimeters. And we are going to activate the depth of field here. Our depth of field is 10 meters. Let's bring it down to four. Then the F stop, let's put it on one. I have set the focus object to the laptop. This is where you set the focus object for the camera. You can just search the laptop here or you can get the picker and pick the object in the sin that you want the cama to focus on and F stop I set it to 1.9 to have this shallow depth of field. Let's increase the little bit like that. I think it's now perfect. What we want to capture here is to show the no network right on the laptop. We are going to mit the camera move toward the screen or the laptop. Our start frame is going to be frame 50. Let's type frame 50 here on start, and our end frame is 15150 here. We are going to me our camera move toward the screen or the laptop. Here where it is. Just place n and and let's go to the transform panel here. Let's extend the loom to b, select the loom and go to the dd mode, sect this xe and place e to trot in the Y axis. Let's go back to the object mode and let's go back to our camera. Place seven on your keyboard to be in the top orthographic view. Here we are going to rotate our camera like that, and then we add a new key frame. Place on rotation and add a new keyframe. When we place we have this amion, and we're going to make it nice later. Move this key flame to 130. Okay, so don't worry we add all the clips in Premier Pro and make sure that everything adds up. So after making that simple admission for the camera, let's now add some action for our collector. As I said earlier, we want to show our collector waiting impatiently for the network. And place shift d to dubricate all of them, or you can place control C to copy. Remember, we are putting four frames between each key frame. When we play the animation, we have this. Let's dig this key frame, and then select this keyframe here and place g to move them here on two and six like that. Now we can select this key frame up to Frame 58, and then place shifty d to duplicate all like light, and then duplicate. Keep on lubricating until on key frame number 200. Just make sure that you leave four key frames in between. All right. Now, I think we are done with the fingers. Let's just make someone mention with the face, place one to be in the front orthographic view. Here, this is the layer where you change the transforming layers as I showed you at first. If you're not sure which one with s, we can just activate all of them so that you don't get confused. Let's activate the first one, this one, please shift and select it. If you just select it, all these seced areas are going to be di selected. All right. This is for the highest. Let's go to the material preview mode so that we can T met for the fase, you need to be extra cave. Select the second layer here, select it, and then place shift and select the third layer.
