1. Introduction: Hello everyone, Welcome
to sketching and illustrating animal character
course width pencil. One of the most important parts of sketching characters for our students is definitely
sketching animal characters. In this course, you will learn how to sketch and illustrate different animal characters with a specific roles with the
use of geometrical shapes. In this course,
you will learn to sketches of pink, hippo, elephant, cow, dung, key, sheep in different models. I hope this course will be
useful for you and would be a cause of your creativity
arise and you enjoy it. Good luck everyone.
2. Introducing the tools: Hello to all of my dear friends. We are here again and
today we want to learn about the equipments and tools which are needed
for this course, which is characterizing
the animals. I would start with my at it. Because first symbol. We are going to create our primary sketch
for our characters. And I will do it with
the use of my edit it. And I would also
use b or B2 pencil. It is going to be
needed for our work. This is B and this one is B2. I've chosen these
pencils because our primary lines for our primary sketches are
going to be drawn lightly. And then we've made sure
that our work is okay, and it's correct in all aspects. We can use pencils with higher
numbers and fix our work. But for the beginning of it, it's better to start our
work with B or B2 pencils. Now, for our attitude, we also need this. And just pay attention
that the type of your edit and the type of
your lead or it's a tip, would be the same. So if you choose one of them, 0.5, the other ones
should also be 0.5. You shouldn't
choose, for example, 0.7 lead for 0.5 at it. And even if you can't see the
leader violated is to be. It should also
match your pencils. So you can create softer lines. Now, after all of these, we need obviously a
pencil sharpener. These are which have this kind of a case at the
bottom of them are the best because it will make
your work easier and faster. You would also need a
sharpener for your pencils. And after that, we
definitely need erasers. We would definitely definitely
need our dough eraser. This is a necessity. So you should definitely
have a dirty eraser. You can also have
pencil erasers. I have the fabric
castle type of it. Something good about
these pencils is that at the ending part of them, they have a brush cell venue. Erase any part of your work. You can use your brush to get the extra things off your work. Your work would not get messy. It would just make
your work easier. Can also use this kind
of brush erasers. But again, I say delivery
CR is a necessity and you should definitely have it or otherwise you can
note, do your work. And another kind of eraser
that you can have is this. The eraser that they have some kind of eraser
tips inside of them. You can change them or wherever. Your work is so thin and
you want to erase it. You can use this
kind of erasers. So this is another type of eraser that you can
use in your work. Then another point that
I should tell you is that you can use this pencil
holder for your pencils. This can come to
use for you when your pencil would be
too short and small. Therefore, you can
place it inside of this pencil holder and use it. One of the most common problems that people have is that then, and pencil is short as small, they cannot properly use it, but this pencil holder
actually helps you to use your pencil still. I think this is also
necessary for your work if your pencils are
short or a small, okay? And we are going to have
some works with colors. Therefore, we need
some colored pencils. For the parcel. You want to use some shadings. You might even need a fader. We will just use this
fader limited oddly. But if you like it, you can use it more. And I also have a brush. Therefore, I can get
any extra things off my work so it would be clean
and it wouldn't be messy. My paper and my sketch
would know sketch messy. I use it, especially for the, for the times that you use. You want to use
color on your sketch because it would not let
your work to be dirty. And therefore, it wouldn't
make your colors look dirty. You can use 1212
number colored pencil, or 28 or even 108. Depends on how much
cost you have for this, how much you want to
pay for this stuff. And you can also consider
your colors more than this. It depends on you also need some papers for our work
and normal lie cheat. You can also use some
board that you can place it underneath your
paper and your hand. You can also have
some paper tape, and these are just
some accessories that you can have if you want. The board will be also
kind of unnecessary for you because it
would be placed underneath your hand
and your paper. And it will actually fixate, fix your paper on your
board so it wouldn't move. These are all the tools that
you're going to need for this characterizing
course of animals. And you can provide them.
3. General illustration of the first Pig: Hello, I love my
dearest friends. We are back again with another
tutorial session for you. And in this session
we are going to work on a pig character together. Okay? I'm going to start with creating a circle
as my peaks hit. Obviously. I think up to now you should
have learned that already, that usually we start with a circle as our
character's head. I complete the circle for
its head in this way. And then for my pigs body, I will create an oval starting
from inside of the head and continuing with getting out of it. This shape. This would be the
shape of the general, the general shape of the oval. For my character's body. I am going to determine the placement of
the ears as well. For my pigs, ears. I'm going to use is
shaped like this. All right, it kinda looks like a combination of a
square and a triangle. For the other ear. I will start from this
side part and I'll create a line upward and
I bring it down again. I finish it in this area looking like this. Okay, dear friends, this is the replacement
of my pig's ear. Now, for the circle that
I've created over here, I bring it apart out. I mean, I will add a
prominent part for my face. I'll actually add the
prominent part to the face. Then I will determine
the placement of the eyes inside of the face. With a shape like this. In this area, the
eyes would be placed. You should also consider that
pig's head has been turned, but this is again closer to us, therefore, we should actually consider it bigger
comparing to the other eye. I will create this part which includes and contains
my pig's nose. First I create general
shapes for it and then later I will add details to it. Don't worry about it. This would be my
pigs mouth actually. Then I want to create my
character's hands and legs. Arms and legs actually. Then this arm, which
is closer to us, we'd be shaped like an oval. It's just that I will go toward inside of
this oval at one end of it. I mean, It's not really round
and a straight on the end. Then I will consider
the other arm a little bit further from this one
because it goes in perspective. It would be also shorter. As I said. Because it goes in perspective, we should consider
that it should be created into back and smaller. We should also create the
legs in the same way. I'm just trying to
create the legs a little bit more above
comparing to the arms. Because again, we are
going to show that it's standing on a
surface flat one. I can also create this arm a
little bit back on the body, a little bit to the
right on the body. Because this arm would be
too close to the other one. We can also consider the pig's face a little
bit more circularly, so it would be even cuter. Then I will create
the general shape for my pig's tail this way. And then after that, I'll consider that
my pigs back is a little bit curved like this in order to get
the anatomy right. And it's a bit cuter
and it looks like it's almost going to sit
on its back legs. This is a general Schaffer,
my pig character. And then we're going to move
forward to the next step, which is adding the
details to our work.
4. Drawing the details of the first Pig: Hello, till love you again. Going to continue our
work on pig character. And now we're going
to start adding the details and develop our
character are more and more. First of all, start with
detailing the ears. And I start with that. Then in this way, I will add the details. It's basically the same shape as we've created in
our primary sketch. There is no significant
change to them. Then, from the side of
the head I come down a little and I will have the neck and also
doesn't have a neck, but I go to the
back of the body. Then from this side
of the face again, I go down as well as I
did for the other side. And then I come to this area
below the mouth and chin. Now I'm going to work on
the parts in the face. I will started with
creating the eyes. Then I want my pick
to look this way. Therefore, I create
its pupils here. This direction. I
will do it definitely for both eyes. Then. I would also darken
this upper part of the to make this face looking
more cartoony and cuter. I will create a line
beneath the eyes. Because you want to show that this area is a little
bit more prominent. And it can show that
our peak is chubby. It has beak cheeks, and it's also laughing. I will create my pig's
nose in this shape. Pigs knows it the volume and the shape of the
upper part of the nose. The volume in the
upper part of the nose is less comparing to the
bottom part of the nose. It's the same for all pigs. Then I'll create the nostrils. Because in pigs, character actually knows is one of
the most significant parts. Then I move on to
create the mouth with the line continuing from
the bottom of the nose. Then I create the lower
part for the mouth. Then I also create a
curved line on the corner of its mouth in order to
show that it's a smiling. I'll separate the tongue and another line beneath
mouth for the chin. Then I move on to the
eyebrows and I will create two very small and cute
eyebrows for my pick character. I'm going to work on the
rest of my pigs body. I'll consider a line or
the beginning of its body actually denied will
complete its tail this way and then move on
to the arms like this. For the fingers, I
will create a shape. As this very small
and little fingers would be placed here. Then I will actually have it
for all the arms and legs. These lines that I've
darkened are actually our main lines that
we're going to keep. The rest of the lines that I haven't darken them
and made them bolder. Or the extra lines
which should be definitely erased at
the end of our work. Then we create the
back leg for that. Because this front part of the leg cannot be
seen completely. I just create a curved line beneath the leg in order to
show that that part exists, but it cannot see it. I create this leg and his
fingers as well as this. Then I will work on the line on the stomach
and I bring it up. This is our pig character. Now the only thing we have to do is to erase
these extra lines. So our outcome actually comes
out from these extra lines. I erase all the
extra and guidelines and all the lines that I haven't darkened or I
haven't made them bolt. We also erase lines which were inside of the ears because
we don't need them. And we don't want to show that the ears are separated
from the body. We want to show that the ears are actually
part of the head. As usual, we erase all the
extra lines in our work. We are almost done. This is it. Then I can come back again
and fixed lines which were accidentally erased
that were main lines. This is our final result. Can see how cute it is.
5. General illustration of the second Pig: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. I'm back again. We'd
continuing work. And this time we
are going to create another model of
our pig character. I mean, this time we
are going to create our PIC in a different shape, different position to create
a new model and a new type. Definitely as usual, I'm going to start with
general shape pink. For so all I'm going to create my pig's head with
a shape like this. It's something between
an oval and a circle. You can almost say that. Then for my pigs body, I will consider another oval. But this oval is way bigger than the first shape because
it's the body of my pick. And then when I'm going
to add the details, I will work on this oval and I get the shape that
I want out of it. Now I am going to determine
the placement of the ears. Now I'm just creating a general
shape for the ears first, for the one which
is closer to me, and then for the one
on the other side, then I also determine
the placement of the nose and then
obviously the placement of the arms and the legs. This time, as you can see, I'm creating the
arms, this shape. I start them with
two lines coming down and at the end of it, I am bringing down
the lines together. And I want this arm to be
a little bit bent down. And I want it to be bent in order to show that our
character is walking. And I will also do the same
for one of my back legs, which is in this side
because we wanted to keep the balance and I want to
show that my pig is walking. So I create one of the
legs up in the air. I create this one on the ground. I can also show the ground with a line beneath the
arms and legs. And even I can actually
compare them together, compare the legs and
arms together to see if they're on the
same level or not. Then I'm going to create
detail for my pig, this shape. And then I will bring
another line next to it that it would be enough up to
now because later in detailing phase I'm
going to develop it more. Then I will determine the
placement of the eyes. I mean, the eye because it's inside of you and
we only see one of them. Then we also determined the placement of the
mouth and this shape, and this is over and we're going to move on
to the next step.
6. Drawing the details of the second Pig: Hello again to my friends. We are going to
continue our work on our second pig character and we're going to add
the details this time. Well, I started from the
front part of the face, from the nose of my pig. And then with lines, I will complete my
nose, nose actually. Then I come toward
inside and later. And then like this
with a slight curve, I go up until I get to
the top of their head. For my pigs. First of all, I create curved line for beneath its ad, the eye itself. And then at last, I'll create the pupil inside
of the eye. This shape. Then for this upper
part of the eye, I would also consider
more darkness. I owe crane my pigs eyebrow. In this way. Now I will create my pigs ears. And I'll just give a
cube shape, the ears. And then I would also complete this ear
which is closer to us. And on this side of the body, I create some ups and downs
on the ear to make it cuter. And I also show the
inner part of the ear, just a curved line. Then I go back to the nose and I create one of the
nostrils on the nose. Because again, I
say we are looking at this big on this side view. Therefore we only see one nostril and the
only create that. Then we create a mouth easily underlines that they had
for in our primary sketch. And I show the mouth open. Now for my pigs body, what I'm going to do first, I start from the back. I bring it a little bit
toward inside of the body. And after I've
created a curve here, I go out again and I create
the ending part of the body. This way. Then I create the ending part of the body like
this, very smooth. Then from below the mouth, again, I do the same. I am come toward inside
of the body or later. And then I come out again
until I get to my pigs are. And I will create
DRM again by only following the lines
of Vi primary sketch. And I will darken this area. Darken area. This black area is actually
the part that we've created, the fingers in our previous Pig. He can do each one of them. It depends on you. I'm just doing it in various
and different ways in order for you to see how
you can do it generally, but it's your
decision definitely. At last, I would move on to create the
back leg, which is. Being held up in the air. Then I'll create this
black part in the back. This black part in front. The placement of the fingers. I create the other leg completely this way. Well, you should consider
that this leg is actually in the back
and they should be in one level with the arm, which is on the other
side of the body, and this arm is
witches in front. It should be actually
on the same level, on the leg which
is on this side. We've raised one arm and one leg in order to keep the
body in balance. We've created them in
both size of the body. That's why because I only considered one line
as the ground. If it was a standing
on all four. We should have actually created
two lines for the ground, one for the legs and
arms on the other side, and one for the leg
and arm on this side. I'm going to create some
stains and spots on its body. Because I just wanted to create a more different and
unique look for my pick. I will shade inside of
these spots in order for our designs to be more
complete and more developed. And obviously, as I always do, I will erase the extra lines. I can have my work completed. As I said before, creating even your
animal characters, you should start with
basic and general shapes. This way you're
actually very precise and you can create
your work very easily. Even if you make any mistakes, you can easily edit
it and fix it. While you want to
work on the details. I will work on the parts
which have been accidentally erased to make my character
all and complete. It would look like this. This is our peak character.
7. General illustration of the third Pig: Hello, I love my
dearest friends. We are back again. We didn't know other
tutorial session for you. In this session we are going
to create another kind of pigs together and another
shape and in another model. First of all, I create
a circle for my face. This time I want to
create a pig that is sitting on its back legs
and it's the smiling to us. And I will create a very
chubby face for it. Because I wanted to
be cuter and funnier. Then for its body, create kind of oval shape, which is close to a circle. We've created an
oval and a circle. Now, I will determine the
replacement for the ears. In this way. Also create
the other ear like this. Then determine the
placement of my pig's nose. Looking like this. I would also determined the
placement of the mouth. And just like this, I'll create it's smiling mouth. Now I will determine the
placement of the hands, arms, and legs of my pick. I will create the other arm
right next to it this way. Then I will make sure that both of the arms
would be in the same level. I want to move on to
create my pigs legs. And because I want to
show that it's sitting, I'm going to create
my pegs leg in this shape because I want
to show that he is sitting. I'll create the
other leg like this. This is it. Then just like that. I'll complete my primary sketch. Almost actually. I've created both legs in a way that I can show he is sitting. Dad, we've completed the legs, the body and the arms. We can see a little bit of
our pig's tail as well. Looking like this. Then I will work on the details
of my work in next step. And obviously as you can see, the pig's face is in this direction and it's
looking a little bit up. We should consider all
of these when we want to go into detailing
step and phase.
8. Drawing the details of the third Pig: I love my dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. Well, this time we
are going to work on the details of our
pig character. As usual, I start
from the top of the head and then I move
on to create the ears. I shaped them a little, just creates a
curve in this area. Now create the
other ear as well. And then I'll determine the
inner line inside of it. Then for my pig's face. Consider a shape like this. Because I want my pig's face be
completely chubby. And I want to show
that completely. So first I create a curved
line from here down. Then in here I can create a circle to show our pigs chick. Then from the other side, I'll do the same. I'll come here. And I will show the chick
on this side as well. And on this side our line is not complete and it doesn't
come all the way down. It comes up to here. And then I create another
print line for the body. Then we move toward the lake. Then I'm going to determine the placement of the
eyes and eyebrows. I wanted to show them
my pig character is very, very happy. Therefore, I will use
linearly eyes for him. I'll show his eyes with
two lines because it's laughing and his
eyes are closed. Download. And those were my two
eyebrows for my pig. And now I'm going to
work on the nose. Obviously, I'll determine the
placement of the nostrils for this honor check. As I've done for the other side, I create a circle or an oval in order to
show the cheekbones. I'm chicks over here. And these circles are actually showing the
blush on its cheek. Because again, I
said I want to show our pig laughing so hard. Then I will complete
my pigs mouth. The shape Dad vive
already created in my primary sketched
and I separate the tongue from
this inner part of the mouth that I shade. Then I'll move on to the
rest of my pigs body. He should consider that our Pig. In our pig, this leg is closer to us and
this one is further. Therefore. I will shape this one. Obviously bigger and trabajo
because it's closer to us. And when it goes
into perspective, you can see the other
leg is smaller. Then I move on to
create the arms. I will create the
arms in this way. Then F there that I
create the front part of the leg and I make it dark. And also this part
beneath the leg, the foot, I have some darkness so I
shade all of this area. Then I will move on to the other arm and I will
shape it like this. Now I want to work on the other leg based on
what we have in this area. And if I create a line, they should be level. I create this other leg. This shape. Starting a little
bit more above. And also the end of the foot. Beneath the foot, I will have
some darkness that I apply. Now. Are detailing is finished. Now I'm going to take my eraser and erase
all the extra lines. My character can show
itself more and better. And then at last, I'm sorry, I was
almost forgetting. We should complete the
tail first and then we can use our eraser in wherever
we think it's necessary. And v erase all the guidelines
or any extra lines. We are only keeping the
main lines and details. This way my work looks
cleaner and better. As I've always said. You should just be really
careful to recognize the main lines from the
extra ones or guide one's. Obviously if you erase
them accidentally, you can create them again. But it's better to pay attention from the
beginning the more careful do not erase an
e-mail lies even by mistake. As you can see, we are developing our
sketch step-by-step. We would have a great outcome
and a great final result. Because if you have the primary
basic shapes correctly, you can easily get to
the details correctly. Then your character
creating the hole. I mean, when you want to
create a whole character, it would be way more easier. Okay? This is it, this is our pig character, our third pad character that
we've created together, which is sitting
this time laughing.
9. General illustration of the fourth Pig: Hello again to all of
you, my dearest friends. We are back again with another
tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create another model of pig, but this time, I want to create
this pig look like human. I mean, I want to
dress him up as well. Okay. Now, I will
start with creating a circle for the pig's head. This way. Then for its body, we are going to create an oval, actually a vertical
oval this time. Then we move on to
create the ears. We will create the ERs
with triangle shape, obviously for its general shape. For now. Definitely
we will develop it more detailing phase. And then we just align. We are going to connect
it to the head. And I would just do the same
for the other ear as well. Now on the face I will determine the direction line
and are the things. Now because we want our face
to be in this direction. I'll create my line this way. Then I will determine the placement of the
eyes and eyebrows. With this shape that
we are creating. We are going to determine the placement of the
eyes and eyebrows all. At the same time. We create another line for
the start point of my nose. I create a shape for the
nose here, a general one, of course, like this. Then on this general shape, next step, I will add the details and I
will develop them. Now I'm going to create the
arms from this corner coming down and then toured
inside of my pigs body. Then for the other hand, for the other arm. Because our head is turned, our body is turned to the sea. This arm more. We see the other arm which is on the other
side of the body. Let's create a shape like this. For the other hand and arm as well in order
just to have it. This is it. Then we start
the legs on our body. We create a curved line
beneath our arms and hands. Then we can determine the
placement of the two legs. First, I create an
oval in order to place the legs in
their correct shape. Create the foods. And I move on to the other leg. First, I create an oval. I'll determine the
placement of the foot. Because our body is turned, this part of this side of
our body is further from us. Therefore, we consider
smaller place for this leg and the created a smaller
and a little further. Okay. Now, Dad, we've created a primary and general
shape of my peg. I want to also create
a backpack for my character just in order
to make my character cuter. Then, from behind the arm, I'll create a shape
as the backpack. Then until the
start of our pants, we come down for this backpack. Then I create another
bigger shape, even more in the back
behind it actually, because this is actually
the back of our backpack. And this part is showing
this side of our backpack. Then I will add two lines. Two, yes, two lines for
the bands and strap. Later we will add the
details to this character. Don't worry about it now, it can also determine the
placement of the eyes. In this step as well, it's creating two circles here. Next step we are going
to develop all the parts in our work and add the details.
10. Drawing the details of the fourth Pig: Hello and welcome back my olive, dear friends, we are
going to continue on our fourth pick character. This time we are in
detailing phase and VR going to develop our character
into a complete pay. Okay, I start from the ears and I create
a curve over here. I create the shapes
that I want out of the general shapes that we've created in our previous step. Like this. As you can see. Then we
create a back of the ear. I'm going to work
on the other ear. And I will create the other ear again in the shapes that I want, the curves wherever I want them. Then I come down
from this area in order to connect the
ear to the head. And we also want to
show that our ear is turned a little and we have
a volume inside of it. Because my whole pigs
body has turned. I will start with creating
the shape of the face. I come down this
way, around way. Then also from this side, I'll do the same. I come down and go out and little I make a
prominent part over here in order to
show the cheekbones, as I've said before. I move toward inside again
and our phrases turned. So this, this is actually
three phases view. Therefore, we should add
this part to our face. Now on this line that
I've created over here, I will create my eyebrows. Then I move onto my
character's eyes. And I would also add them. Then. Consider line for below the eye. Then I will determine
displacement of my eyes pupil. Obviously, you should
consider that. You should create the pupil in a direction that's your
pig wants to look at. I also do the same
for the other eye. Then I complete the pupils. As you can see. We should consider that
our nose has covered a little of our second
IRI on the right side. Therefore, we should create
our nose in a way that it's coming out of the face and it's covering in
part of the eye. It kind of looks like
a rounded triangle. Then I would also want
to work on the nostrils. Then I create a line to show
the volume of mine nose. Then from this side, from below the nose, I'll create another line
for my character's mouth. In this way. Then
I am going to also create tooth coming out of the mouth in this
corner of our smile. Like this. Okay. This was all the details, things that we've
done for the face. And we can also
apply a curved line below mouth in order
to show the chin. Wanted to show that there
is also a volume over here. Okay. Now I will complete the
lines beneath my face. Then I can move on
to my pigs body. I can start it. Okay, for working on to body. First of all, I start creating
the lines completely. I mean, I will create the
hands and the arms this way. Then. I would also create the
fingers, this shape. Then I go toward the back of the hand and then I will
add to dress to it. And actually it's a t-shirt. I'll add his t-shirt. Then I would want to work on the other arm of my character. I come down a little
from this corner. Then I create this
rounded shape over here. Then I'll create, it's
too cute fingers. Then complete the arm. More than that. That's over. Now that we've
determined and we've completed the arms and
the hands correctly, create a color for
my pigs T-Shirt. Then we're going to move on to the rest of our
work or the body. We complete. There's t-shirt like that. And now I'm going to work
on my character's paths. Right now, I want to create a cute shorts for my character. And I do is really easily also create these
lines inside of the body, inside of the shorts
between two legs. In order to show
the volume better. I've created this line because I wanted to
show that again. In this area we
have a volume and it's not just a
surface, it's not flat. Now I'm going to work on
the lower part of the legs. From inside of the shorts. I come in a little because
I want to show that in this area we have a bigger shape which
is coming on our legs. Their shorts because the
shorts are not tight step. We aren't going to show
that in our work as well. Then we can work on the feet. Well, just like that, I created this foot and
again with another line, I will separate two
fingers of the leg. Now create the other
leg in the same way. I come toward inside a little. Then I'll create a
line going down. This leg is actually
behind the other one. Therefore, it goes
into perspective and we don't have it
too clear on this side. Then I create the fingers again. I surprise them with
just simple lines. I want to work on
the backpack that I've considered
for my character. Although with several lines, you can just make the
volumes of the legs better. And great, some wrinkles on it. To show the volume better. Then I'm going to work on
my characters backpack. Round the edges and
the coroner's first. Again because it would
look cuter obviously. Then I'll do the same for
the other line as well. I created round and smooth. It looks like this. In this area, which is actually
the middle of my work, we can create a zipper together. For our backpack, of course, which looks like this. In this area, can
actually create a zipper. This is the part where you can
cause a zipper or open it. We created with as much
details as we can, but not too much in order just to make it cuter
as I've said before. Now my detailing is
finished and I'm only going to erase the extra
and guidelines. Therefore, I can see
my final results. I do it with the eraser. I'm going to erase all the
guidelines completely. We want to show that our character is coming
out of this lines. And it's actually
coming to life here. Because once we erase
the extra lines, it would look so
cute and surreal. Even if you've erased
any lines accidentally, any of your main lines, I mean, you can again use your
pencil and complete them. That's the easiest way and
the best way actually. To bring your character to life. We do it for all the
parts of our Pig, its phase, its body, its legs, and also its spec PECC, part of our whole sketch. Okay, this is it. And now I'm just going to
fix the lines that I've accidentally erased during
my work with etc eraser. For example, when
I go to the tooth, erased or a part of the ear. And also here. Now forest straps of the
backpack IS started from here. I create the shape. In order for our whole
design to be complete. I'll just do the same for the other one on the
other side of the body, exactly as we see them. Now, I'm just going to
emphasize on this part of my backpack a little bit
more because it's a zipper. I'm going to create some lines for this area
in order to show that this is a zipper and
it would be closed and opened like this. Okay, this is almost
our final result on our Fourth Pig character
that we even gave him clips. And it looks so cute. And I'm sure that your work
is going to be perfect. So don't worry and
just started now.
11. General illustration of the Hippo: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are back again with another
tutorial session for you. In this session, we
are going to create a hippo together
to see how it is. Alright. I am going to start with
creating an oval for my hippos head this way. And then I'm going to
create another and bigger oval for the lower part of its head, looking like this. Then for its body. I'm going to create
a very big circle. As you can see. It has a very big body. As you've seen it before. Just pay attention that
your body should be a little bit above your head. From here, a little
bit beneath it. I create my circle for
its body like this. Then for its tail. I'm just going to grant a
very small shape like this. I wanted to work on
the legs and the arms. And for that, I'm going to create some long ovals. And another one for the
hand which is in the back. Then I'm going to create two
more of them for the legs actually. In this way. One of them here. It would look like this. The other one would
be over here. We just see a little love it, but still it exists. Now because I want my work
to be funnier and cuter. I want to also create
a bird on tobacco, my hippo, like that. This bird is sitting
on my hippos back. Therefore, I consider
a circle over here looking like this. Then an oval for its tail and apart over
here for the beak. Amy went to small
little feathers for the top of its head. This is a general
shape of our work. Until that in next step, I would go and add the details. He can also determine the placement of the
eyes and a mouth. Because our character wants
to look at this bird. I'll create the
eyes in this shape, therefore, it can look this way. Then for an industrials, I'm going to use a guide line and I will determine
the placement of my nostrils here
on this curved line. Then of course, the mouth
would be placed over here. This shape. This is it also going to determine the placement of
the ears because it has two very little cute ears. I would also create
dare placement. In this way. Here we go. We have
the ears as well. This is a general shape
of our character, and the little
bird on top of it.
12. Drawing the details of the Hippo: Hello, love my dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on my character. And this time we're going to add the details to
this character. I'm going to start with
the head, top of the head. As you can see. Like this. We will get the shape of the head from our
primary sketch. Then I move on to
create the eyes. I will create them this shape. We can also darken this
upper line for our eye. I'm going to create two
small eyebrows for my hippo. And I also work on the ears. Looking like this. I also create the
other ear as well. Now I'm going to determine their placement of
the nose and mouth. I created the general shape
of the face downward. Then I will create and determine the placement of
the nose like this. And I complete my mouth. This shape. I create the tongue and I
want to make you cuter. I also create some
teeth for him. Then I create a pupil
toward the bird on its back. Like this. And also up toward our bird. If something was
could've created that. Sorry, if something was on
the lower back of our hippo, we could've create our
eyes on the lower part. This not I'm going to
create its back like this. I work on my bird. First. I'll create the feathers on
the top of my bird's head. And then I am going to
work on my bird's body. I also create two tiny
little legs for my bird. It can stand on
our he posed back. Dan, I determine the
placement for my bird's eyes. I create the other one. Again. I created the pupils
in a way that it looks like bird is also looking
back toward our hip. Then I created speak
in this very cute way. Then I create two very
cute and small eyebrows outside of vibe bird's
body and my bird's head. Looking like this. Just great, a very simple wing. I'm just going to shape the
tail like this in order to show it's been created
from feathers. This is our bird which is
on the back of our hippo. Then I continue my hippos
body from this side. I go down until I get
to my heap has legs. Then I also create its Taylor
in here as a short tail. Then I'm going to work on these, be feet and legs on my hippo. Pay attention. I wanted
to create two legs. But because the legs
of Hippo are so big, you cannot actually
see the one which is on the other side of
the body and on the back, also creates some nails foreign. Then create this part
below the stomach, the lower part of the
stomach, the belly. Then we'd several lines. I just showed the
wrinkles on its leg. Again, I create sound
lanes, some nails here, and I create several
curved lines. This way. I'll
create that as well. Then like this, we are going
to create the body as well. This is my hippo. And now I'm going to erase all the extra lines and
guidelines so I can get my main sketch out of my primary sketch and the
details that I've created. This scripture, we
actually had lots of guidelines and
lots of extra lines. Just extra cautious. I am going to erase all of them one-by-one so we can
have a clean result. Well, surely if you
use guidelines, everything in your
work would be in the correct place and you would not face any problems
during your work. But if you don't use them, if you don't choose
any guidelines, your shave would definitely
be becomes a little deformed. And then the whole work
obviously would be ruined because if the primary
shapes are deformed, you would have an unbalanced
and note pretty outcome. All right. This is it. Then I'm also going to
erase legs, extra lines. This then we also erase inside of the mouth. Therefore, our teeth would look, would show themselves better. Like this. This is our beautiful
and cute hippo that we can also address
shade inside of our mouth. So we can separate
the tongue and the tooth from the
rest of the mouth. Actually in this way, we are going to show them
off a little bit more. All right, this
is our cute hippo with a bird on its back. And we are done here. Can also work on the parts that you've accidentally erased.
13. General illustration of the first Elephant: And lead to love my
dearest friends. We are back again with another
tutorial session with you. In this session, we
are going to create a cute and beautiful elephant together and we want
to see how it's done. Alright? All start with creating
general shape for my elephant. Where am I going to start? Obviously from the
head of my elephant. And then with some
guidelines I can determine the angle of elephant
and where it's standing. So my work would be
completely in order. I started with
creating a circle. And then from this
area, from this part, I'll create a line coming
down for my elephant's trunk. And I create another line on the back in order to create the placement
of my elephant's body. I'm just going to create
the general placement of my elephant's trunk with creating an oval in
my elephant's head. This circle. Then I continue this
line, this oval downward. Then I turn its tip toward up, and I create another line
from this side of the wall, again downward and I
connected to this tip. Just as easy as this. You can create your
elephant's trunk. And then I will create the placement of my elephant's
ear because as you know, one of the most
significant features of elephants are their ears. So I'm going to create
them big and unique. Right now. I've just created general shapes for my
elephant's trunk and ears. Then I create a very big circle for my elephant's
body this time. As you've seen,
elephants are so big and they are also very heavy. We need a big circle here. I will determine a place for connecting this area to below the stomach and then
connect it to the legs. From actually beneath the trunk, I come down with a curved line until I get
to the stomach, the belly. Then here we'd be more completed
because I've chosen this area for having
my legs and arms. But how are we going to determine the
placement of the legs? First of all, we're
going to divide this circle that we've
created into parts. Then in this front area, I will consider an
oval like this. Then for this lower
part of the leg, again, I consider a circle. Then with a line. I will level the back legs with these ones
which are in front. And just as well, I consider another
oval for the back leg. Then I'll create it easily. You can create this
leg bent or straight. I created in advance shapes
so you can see how it's done. Then I'm going to create
this lower part of the leg. Looking like this. You should consider
that the back leg is longer and when it's bend, it gets to this leg. For the languages on the
other side of the body, just consider the same thing. Because they didn't see the
other side of the body. Just consider a smaller oval. And also because with this
line that I've created, you have to level the
legs with each other. Again for the arm on the
other side of the body. I'm going to create it here and I'm going to create
a bent shape. So you would see how it's done. Because I wanted to keep
the balance in my elephant. One arm and one leg
on opposite sides. They are bent. We can determine the placement
of the tail, obviously. Also going to determine the
placement of elephants ivory. And then in next step, I will add some details
to all of my work. We also have another ivory
on the other side which we can note C. But again, we can see edits tip of our
ivory just like this one. We can just see the tip of it coming out from the
back of our trunk. Just remember to create a
coronary lines so you would know where you should
create the other ivory. We can also determine
the placement of the eyes with ovals. Right now we're just going to
create it in general shape. Next step, we are going
to add the details to it. This is it.
14. Drawing the details of the first Elephant: Hello To love my
dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our elephant. And this time we're going to add the details to our
cute elephant. As usual. I start from the top of my head. I mean top of my elephants had, and I work on it like this. I create a coronary
lines going up and then coming down toward
my elephant's trunk. Now I'm going to create some lines on my
elephant's trunk. Then like this, I come
down a little and I create another line
or a curved line. Because actually
elephant's trunk is very soft and it goes down and
it comes up, it's flexible. Therefore, we are
going to create these curved lines on the trunk. So we can show that this
trunk is turned and twisted and it's been moved down. There. We got to the
part which we want to show that the
trunk is turning. The direction of these
lines will change. You see at the beginning
the curve was facing down, but farm here on the curves
are going to facing up. Then we get to the
tip of the trunk. And we completed
like this this part, we have the nostrils
actually on the trunk. Then line going up to
complete the trunk. This way. Then we get to this part which we
should create the ivory. And then very easily with just a curved line coming forward and another
line right next to it. Then on the tip of my Ivory, I connect these two lines
together and I make them round. We also create the other
eye ray like this. This is the front part
of my elephant's head. Now I'm going to
work on It's ie. I'm just going to
create my eye at first is create this eye in a
way that first of all, I should create
the general shape. I want to consider my
elephant's eye wide shot. Just in order to
make a difference. Then I create a pupil and then I work on the lower
line of the eye. I also considered two more lines beneath die in order
to show some wrinkles. Dan, I will determine the
placement of the eyebrow. Like this. I also darken the eyebrow. Order to make kids
even prettier. We can create one of the
eyebrows a bit more forward. On top of its head. I've just created to hair. Just to make it cuter. Then I'm going to work on
my elephants being curved. I bring it down. And then from here I create a turn toward outside
and inside and down. I want to bring one
part of the ear. Going inside and
shape it like this. Well, our elephant
obviously looks cuter. Our work would look more
attractive and more unique. I would also create
the ear upward. And here we want to show that our ear some dimension and
it's not actually flat. Therefore, I add
another line over here. Then. I want to work on this area beneath the
neck, throat actually. Then I moved downward toward the hand like this. And then I also create two lines for this area
in the back of the ivory. Now for the legs and the arms, I'm going to create
the shapes in details. I start from top of the
arm and I bring it down. As you can see, we have curved lines. Notice strike once again for the other line on
the back of the arm, I'll just come down with the same curve with
the soup shape. And then I connect this lower part together
from both sides. Then I will determine
the shape of the fingers for it with
this shape actually nails. Then because this
area is wrinkled, we just show it
with several lines. Generally elephants
have wrinkly skin. Then we create this lower
part of our shape like this. I should bring the leg a little
bit more up in there for myself to show that
it's bent completely. Especially I am comparing it to the other arm. This way. Then. I will determine the placement of fingers or it's
better to say the nails. Then we show the wrinkles with these several curved
lines on the knee. We also want to create
some curved lines around the arm because we want
to show that this area, we have some volume, it's not flat and we just have to create it in the
right direction. Now, I'm going to
create the belly in this area and then I
connect it to the back. As we've done in primary sketch. I'm going to create the back leg bend and a strong curve from
the back of the back leg. I'm going up. Then I'll create
the nails this way. Then. This area that has
been bent down, I'm going to create some lines again so I can show
the wrinkles of being this leg can be seen less, but still, we shouldn't
forget about it. So I'm going to create it and then the
placement of the nails and very small lines
because the lines when that leg cannot
be seen too much. And then for the
back of my elephant, almost from the
middle of the ear, from the central of the ear. I bring my back out and going up and down until
we get to the back. No, I want to work on my elephant's tail and I
want to shape it like this. From the upper part it would be wider and as we come down, the lines would be
thinner and less width. Then we also create a shape, a volume for this ending part of the tail with some lines. This is the shape
of our elephant, which looks like this. Now, I'm going to erase all my extra lines
there for my outcome. Let's show itself better. I start erasing the lines, the guidelines and extra lines. We only leave the
main lines here. We should just look at
our sketch very well. And if you see that there is a guideline or an extra
line is placed once, they should be
completely erased. As I said before, actually,
using guidelines, it's very, very important and very good for
starting your work. So definitely you should do it. And you should notice
skip it at all. Because your work
would be so much good, so attractive and unique. If you use guidelines
in your primary shapes. Okay. This is it. This is my elephant. I'm just going to
use my edit again, going over the parts which
have been erased accidently. I can also create
some lines over here in order to show the
movement of my elephant. And it's wrinkly skin
because it's so big. This is our first
elephant character.
15. General illustration of the second Elephant: Hello to all of my
dearest friends again, we are back with another
tutorial session for you. In this session we are going to create another
cartoony elephant. Went to see if he wanted
to make it cuter. How we can do this. I want to create an
elephant is standing on its two feet and it's holding his hands and
the arms up in the air. First, I started with the
placement of my head, which is a circle. And then I will create a general placement
for my elephant's body. Then I determined the placement of its arms looking like this. Obviously, I'll do the
other hand, the other arm. Bring it out from this side and then bring it back in again. Now I'd also determine the
placement of the legs. And then I create a
guideline beneath both of my legs in order to check
they are at the same level. Then I determine the placement
of its tail as well. Then outlast, I'll determine
the placement of the ears, which are actually one of the most significant
things in elephants. But this time I'm going
to create them in smaller in order from
my work to look cuter. And then I also create my
elephant's trunk in this way. And I'm just creating a
general shape as you can see. Just creating a general shape
as you can see right now. Then in next step, we're going to work
on the details. I would also create
a very small part for the pop my trunk. This is a general
shape for my work. Now for our next step, I'm going to move and
work on the details.
16. Drawing the details of the second Elephant: Hello again, my dearest friends. We are going to continue
our tutorial session. And this session we are going to work on the details of
our second elephant. All right. I start from the ears. This elephant is more cartoony comparing to the other one. I'm going to shape
my elephant's ears, so cute and fun like this. Then I move on to create the volume of
my elephant's head. I shape it like this. I create another line like this for the back of
my elephant's head. Dan, I can also create two
cute her for this area. I'm going to create this
inner line for the ear. And then I can move on to the other ear and
create it as well, both on outside
and inside of it. We turn outside like this. It creates some ups and
downs on around our ear. See, if you created in this shape would be much more cuter and
fun, much more fun. You can also create
this area straight. But because we are
working on characters, we are actually trying to make some creatures and some
characters funnier and cuter. Because we are
illustrating characters. Then I'm going to work on this area which is
the side of the face. And I create a curved
line for it and I created completely chubby. Then I move on to the
front part of my face. Then creates this volume for the back part of my
face, a curved line. Then I move on and I create my elephant's trunk with
another curved line. And then another line. I will determine my
elephant's trunk, which would look like this. Well, you should consider that we are going to create
a shape like this for the tip of our elephant's
trunk is C. Like this. We have a curve in the middle and we have two prominent parts on the top and on the bottom, if you want to create
it in a side view. But because right now we are creating our elephant
in a three faces view. We are going to
actually consider the lower part a little bit more wider and thicker and
replace our nostrils on it. Now I'm going to
move downward and with another curved line. And just like this, I will finish my elephant's
trunk with a beautiful smile. Now, I will determine the
placement of the eyes. I will create two
cute eyes for it. Which one of them
would be bigger and the other one would be smaller. Just to give it a fun shape. And then I create the
darkness of the eyes to P appeals over
here, like this. And then I create a line for
beneath the eyes and also another line for the continuous of trunk which is coming
toward inside of the face. Then with several small lines I'm going to show this area. Show that the trunk is soft and smooth and it has some wrinkles. Then I create two
cute eyebrows for it. I can also darken this upper
line for the upper eyelid. Then we create another
line for here, below the mouth on the chin. In the continuous of
this line which we've created created on the
other side of the trunk, I create a line coming
out of the bottom of the trunk in order to complete
the face and the head. With the shape of
hands and body, I'm going to complete
my creature. I want to show that my
elephant is chubby. Therefore, there is a wrinkle
over here on the body. That's why I've created that
curved line in the middle. Now I'm going to create
this arm like this. And I determined
the placement of the nails or the fingers. Then I'm going to work on the legs and we
created like this. And for the back of the leg, we are going to create
a little bit of curves. So I work with look cuter, more fun than for here. I'm going to create four nails, are four fingers in order to
make our work even cuter. Our elephant is ascending
and we are going to consider difference between
the legs and the arms. That's why I've just created
for nails over here. The back of the
legs should go in and out again toward the tail. First I am going to
complete the nails exactly as I did
for the other leg. Then line actually with a line like this. I can create the
wrinkle on the legs. But I've just created
in this shape in order to make it more cartoony. Now for its tail, I create two lines
from both sides, and then I make it thinner. When I get closer to the
end of the tail and then I create a shape like this
for the tip on my tail. Then this would be
the line for my bag. And after that we're going
to create this other arm. We also going to
create some lines for this area which is wrinkled. And then I determine the placement of the
nails of the arms. In this area because
we have a bent. I'm going to use the
same shape that I've used on the legs, on the arms, two on the elbow is
actually now this is our cute and fun
elephant character. And I'm going to erase the
extra lines of it in order for my character to show
itself better and we would have a cleaner result. Of course a better one. We also erase all
the general shapes, the guidelines that we had
in our primary sketch. As you can see, even while I'm doing this, my characters is showing
itself more and more. All right? This is it. This is our fun, cute,
cartoony elephant.
17. General illustration of the Cow: Hello to our loved
my dearest friends. We are back obviously with
another tutorial session. And in this session, we are going to create
a cow together to see what artists steps
and creating the scale. I start with creating the
cow's head and its placement. This shape. Then I will create a
general shape for its body. The body of our cow is very big. We should create a general and make shape for
our cow's body. Also from this side. I would come toward
inside of the body. And I'll complete the
general shape of our cow. Now I will determine the
placement of the legs and arms with ovals to indifferent. And two in the back on this side and two
on the other side. I'm not adding any
details as you can see, I'm just creating
general shapes. And that's it. This is one leg and
this is another one behind this first leg. That's why you always see
the lower part of it. Then. This is a part on our cow, which the milk comes from N. We show it with
creating a circle. We are also going to create
some horns for our cow. So I just create two
big horns for this cow. Then I'll determine
the placement of the nose and the mouth on
my cow's face and head. Then I create a guideline for determining the direction and
the angle of my cow's face. And I create the eyes as well. This is a general
shape of my cow. I also want to create a bell
hanging around its neck, which I also determine its
general placement like this. Later. I'll definitely
add the details to it. Don't worry about it right now. Before I forget, I should also determine the
placement of the tail. Now after doing this,
our general shape, our primary sketches complete and we can move on
to the next step, which is adding
the details to it. All right. That's it.
18. Drawing the details of the Cow: And now my dearest friends, we're going to continue our work on the details of our cow. Well, I start from my
cow's head as usual, and then I'm also going to
create some hair on its head. In order to make it cuter. Then I would want to
create my cows horns. And I will work on them
dressed like this. Consider the tip of the horns, little sharp, not too
much, just a little. Then I create a guideline
in order to make sure that our horns are almost
the same level. Just because this
one is a bit closer to us and the other
one is a bit further. Put them in perspective. And I can bring this one a little bit lower comparing
to the other one, which is closer to us, but not too much. It shouldn't be too much. All right. Now I would also create
two ears for my cow. He needs to hear stuff. He needs or she needs
ERs retainer line. I go back toward this side and I created the ear very easily. I just need to create
a ticket here. Because as you know,
cows have tickets. It's kind of like a
certificate for them identity. Then I would also work
on the other Ear, which is on the other side. We only could see
this ears inside, not the other one. I mean inside of this ear
which is closer to us. Now I'm going to create the general shape
for my cow's face. Then. I create the nostrils a little bit more prominent comparing to the
line for the face. Then from below
the face I create the mouth and I bring
it toward inside. And I also create
another line over here. And from here, I consider an area
for the wrinkles on its face around the mouth. From this side we go to the
other side of our face. We also complete
the other nostril. Can get a little
bit more prominent. This nostril should
definitely be drawn bigger and more complete
because it's closer to us. If you consider the
perspective which you ****, then I'll create my cows eyes. I create two pupils
for inside of my cows. And then I also
consider some lines for around and below
the cows eyes. Then I create the cows eyebrows. Both of them, one on this side, the other on the other side. And then for one of my eyes, I'll create a big circle. Actually it dark
circle, because. Well, cows usually have some
polka dots on their body. Sometimes they are brown or
sometimes they are black. And when they are white, we can create these spots, these black or brown
spots on the cows. You can also create
one on its ear. And now I'm going to
work on my cow's body. I shape it like this. And I go down toward the legs. I create a general
shapes for the legs. I turned around again. I also create this
upper part for the leg. Before I continue,
I will complete my tail because it's on
this part of the body. It's easier to complete it
right now in this shape. And then we can move forward. I can also darken this
lower part of detail, the tip of the tail, just to make it different. And also for the body, we are going to create
some several dark spots. But no say exactly right now. Completes the leg which
is on the other side. I would also work on this part, which is the place where
our cow produces milk. This is a part where
you get the milk from. Very, very cute and fun. I will create these
parts for my cow. Then we the line I separate this part of the stomach and I bring
it toward the arms. Like this. I will create this front areas. Just like that. I also create the legs. This is lowest part
of our leg. Alright. Then I will also do the same for the other arm on the
other side of the body. But first, I will continue
this area for the stomach, going towards the neck. And then we can create the
other hand for our cow. You can also create some
shavings for these parts. Last part would be here creating this bell around our cows neck. I'm going to create it. And then we can move on
to create some spot. Since things on our cow's body, they're actually spots
are like polka dots. But in different shapes. There are notes in circles. I create my bell like this
hanging around its neck. And this is this
error part of it, which actually produces
the sound of ERPO. As I said before, we can create some
spots on its body. And we can either do this
for our normal pencil or black colored pencil
I'm using to call 399. And I will create some spots on my cow's body completely
randomly with random shapes. And then another one
over here on this part. You can also create
another one on its arm. Then we can also
darken the hair. The little hair that
we've created at first. When you want to
darken these areas, you can start from a corner very slowly and with
so much cautious. Or you can do it quickly. But just shading, that's
totally your choice. Which way do you want
your work to be designed? All right. These are the stains and spots actually on our cow's
body that we can create. I'm just going to shade
these areas very quickly. It's better for you to take more time on it and
spend more time on it. And just color each spot
completely one-by-one. But I'm just doing a
quick so you can learn more from your time. Okay? This is our cow that
looks like this. The only thing that we
can do here right now is to take our edges eraser and erase all the extra lines
and got lines that we had so our cow would be
completely complete. This. All right. We can actually shade inside
of the nostrils as well. In order to show that we
have kind of a volume there. We have depth. I also darken the eyebrows
and the eyes, and that's it. This is the result.
19. General illustration of the Donkey: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are back again with
another tutorial session. In this session, we
are going to create a cute donkey together and we
want to see how it's done. Okay, Well, I started
with creating a circle as my donkey's head. This way. I actually want to create full, which is donkeys child. So I create two circles
for my foal's body, which should that one of them is starts a little from
inside of our head. And then the next one
would be right next to it. Some distance. Then the third circle
would be placed here, right next to our previous two. These are three volumes, these are three circles. And then for my full mouth, I create this area, which is actually the placement
of the mouth and nose. Then I determine the
placement of the ears. And I should consider very big ears for our fall
because it's a baby donkey, so it has actually big ears and the other ear
is further from us. Therefore, basically, it would be smaller and a little thinner. Now I'm going to determine the placement of
the legs and arms. Now we create this shape
on our first circle. Vertical oval would
be placed here. This way. Then on the
back of our body. I mean, on this side, on the other side of
the body we can see the beginning of our other hand. We should consider that this arm is closer to us and
it's more in front. And this one would
be actually behind. The first one that
we've created. Then I create the back legs on my third circle
and I bring it down, bring this shapes
down in this way. Then I created the
bottom part of the leg. For the other leg, we don't see the top part of it, but we can see the
bottom part of it. So I'm going to create
it here because we've created this part for
our nose and mouth. The direction of our head is going to be in
this way, sorry. Done all determined the
placement of the eyes. This would be one of them and
this would be D other one, which is closer to us. And it should be
obviously bigger. Then I'll determine the
placement of detail like this with two lines right
next to each other. Then the tip of detailed, the ending part of detail
which should be more volumes. This is a general shape for our baby donkey,
for our full. In next step we are going to
work on its details and add them one-by-one to
its body and face.
20. Drawing the details of the Donkey: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue our
work on detailing our full, which is actually baby donkey. I start with creating the ears and some
parts of the head. But for the beginning, I'm going to create my
ears volume from here. Then I also determine this inner part of
the year in this way. Then I twist the ear a
little toward this side. For this upper part, we can just separate, apart like that and
bring it to our ear. Then we can show this
inner part. Like this. I would want to work on this
area in front of my head. And four here, I've
considered also a part of hair because I want my
character to look cuter. I want to show the volume
of the hair on the face. Then also from here, I would be creating
the other ear. This shape. Then from here I just twist the ear
again and I go down. I work on inner part
of the ear like this. I will darken this area. When it's twisted and turned, it would look like
the top of this ear. I am going to darken. Now I'm going to work on
the eyes and eyebrows. And I'm also going to create an area around my
eye, around his eye. And then on this top
part I will determine the placement of the
eyebrow above the eye. And then I create right here in this area below the eyebrow. Then I create its pupil
toward this side. Because I want my donkey
to look this way. Now I'm going to go
to the other eye and do the same as I did here. I will create this part. Because our head is turned. The eyes are looking
this way and this circle is
closer to our eye. Then I add the
eyebrow like this. From here I come down, I create a curve on the face and I come toward
this nasal area. It's dry actually. I would also create a
shape here below the eye. Now I will determine
the placement of the nose very easily. On this area that I've created
during my primary sketch. I go up, I turn and I
come down here again because this area is
actually a volume. And we all to show that
therefore with this turns and with these
ups and downs, with this curves that we create, we can show its
volume perfect SLI. Then I also create
DEM mouth over here. In this area, which is the
continuous part of the nose. Here, I'm going to
create the nostrils. This side, the nostril will be bigger because it's
closer to us obviously. And the other part, the other side then
necessarily would be smaller. Because it goes in perspective. Then I darkened inside of the nostrils and inside
of the eyebrows. You can also shade the hair
area a little in order to make it more different from the risks of
the body like this. Now from inside of the ear, I'm going to create
the rest of my face. I mean, his face. I just completed like this
and I get to this nasal area. This is the head of our
full or our baby donkey. And then I'm going to come
down from the neck downward. Then I get to the arms. And also from this side, I bring the other hand
or the other leg down, the one which is on
the other side of the body and we don't
see it completely. And I completed with
some lines that I create on the leg or under hand. These are all four
legged animals. Then I bring this side
of this hand down. I turn it just like that. I would have the
bottom part of my leg. The clave. Then I go up. Then I create this front
part which is on top. And I also create two
curved lines over here as well as we
did on the other one. In order to show that
how the volume of this place is going to
be exists in place. Actually, I wanted to show
the wrinkles which is caused by a standing. I also create a one line
beneath the face on the neck because I wanted to
show that our donkey is turning its head. Then I continue the
rest of the body. I go to the stomach. Then I go toward the back
leg and I go up like this. Then I'll do the same
for the back leg. And from the bottom area, from the end of my
body I come down and I would have my
club here and my leg. I would also create
the other leg, which would be
placed like this and we can only see this part of it. So we only show that in order to show that it's
turned to I'm going to create another part
for my stomach from the continuous of this
area toward our body. Looking like this. And for the back
of our body right from and X2 are phase
I go toward detail. We have a curve here, a bump, which is its buttocks area. Then I create its tail at last with almost fairly a thin line which goes to the end of
our body to its bottom. I'll create the
shape of the hair. It has a tip of its tail. Then we can also darken
the end of the tail, the tip of the tail and
I shaded like this. I can also shade these parts because our legs and hands
are divided in two parts. I can shade this area
which represents a club. Now, I'm going to erase all these extra lines
and all these guidelines. So my work would
look with actually show itself better and more. I'm going to erase all the
extra lines that I have here. As you can see, we've
created this creature out of those very simple
lines that we've created that first,
our primary sketches. And we should create these
lines, these guidelines, these primary
sketches in order to create something as
amazing as this. And this way with having
all those guidelines, you won't make any
mistakes and problems because everything would
be in its own placement. So this is our cute
full our baby donkey. You just how, uh, you might just have to work on some lines which got erased during your
erasing phase accidently. So you can work on those parts after you're
finished with erasing. Don't bother yourself too much. That's it. That's
our final outcome and our final creature. I hope you have
enjoyed creating it.
21. General illustration of the first Sheep: Hello to allow my
dearest friends, I'm back with another
tutorial session for you. In this session we are going
to create a cute sheep together and wanted to see
how it's going to be created. Alright, I will
start with creating an oval for my sheep's head. This way. Then I'm
going to create Elmo's the circle behind this area
and this shape. All right. Now that we've
created this volume, we can determine
that which part is, for which part of the
body or part of the face. Obviously, this oval
is the placement of my sheep's nose and mouth. And as I go in, this area, in the back would
be the place on one eye. Here. Would be the other eye. This area is behind our face. And then it connects to the rule and the
hair of our sheep. I also consider ears
for it. This way. Now I'm going to
add in this way. Then I create a big old ball for my sheep's body, this sign. Now I would also consider
an area for my sheep's TE, create arms and legs for it. I would also determine this bank leg over here. Also. It needs two legs over here. In front to the back. Two on this side and
two on the other side. This is a general
shape for our sheep. And in next step we
are going to add the details to our cute ship.
22. Drawing the details of the first Sheep: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are continuing our
work on our sheep together and we are going to add the details to our
sheep this time. Okay. I start from above the eyes, which would be the
top of the head. Actually. I will add the
details to the face like this. I created a zine
for this back area. Go to the top of the head. And in here, I want to create
my sheep's wool as hair. Then for the back of the head, I will shape it like this. And I go down. Then also from here, I come inside. I turned down. Then I again, I bring
it toward inside of the face. This way. Then from here again we have a turn and we go
towards the mouth and the nose area like this. Now from between our two eyes, we create a curve, become down, and then we
get to the prominent part for our sheep's nose and mouth. And then create a
nostrils over here, one on this side. Then I create a line
for the middle of them. Then I create the
other nostril with just a line because you
can not see it completely. Then I will create the eyes. First. Obviously, I will create this
eye which is closer to us, and therefore it's bigger
because it goes in perspective. Then I create the
eyelid little inside of the eye in order to show that our eye is not completely open. It's Wide Shut. You can either create
it like this or you can create a normally I mean, you can create the
eyes completely open. That totally depends
on you and how do you want your sheep to be? Then I create one eyebrow on this side and the other
eyebrow on the other side. In order to keep the balance. Then I will create the other eye on the
other side of the face. This shape. And even for that, I bring the eyelid a little inside of the eye and
work on it like this. This is about the eyes. No, I tried to work
on the ears as well. I'm just going to shape it. And I create another
line in order to separate the inner part of the ear from the
outer part of it. I'm going to create
the neck like this. Bring it out to
create the chest. As you can see, I'm
going a little bit wider comparing what I had
in my primers sketch. And then I create some
lines in order to show that the body of our sheep
is covered with wool. Then we come down, we get to the first
leg. For that. We're going to create it from inside of the body
because in here I'm also creating some more curved
lines in order to show the texture of my sheep's
body, which is wool. Then from inside
of it, among them, I bring two lines down in
order to create the first leg. Also do the same from
this side, I come down. In here we're going to
create a triangle line, I mean a triangle shape. And from here we go toward inside because we want to shape our sheep's
leg it completely. Now I'm going to
create the other leg. I am creating the
other leg as well. I coming from the back
to the front and then I create one line represented than what we can see
in here in this side, because you can not
see it completely. Well. We're just going
to create a line for it. And the other legs should
have the same shape. I mean, the procedure the
shape is exactly the same. I'm going on the stomach. Then I am going to create some lines of wool for
this back leg as well. Then I go toward the
back and the bottom of the body, toward the tail. Before I go further, I complete my two other legs in order to have four
legs completely. Then for the hoof, we move from this side. And in here, I will just do exactly as I did
for the front leg. Create a triangle shape. And I go in from this side. I would have my leg completely
on this side as well. The other one which is on
the other side of the body would be create at
just exactly the same. But because we cannot
see it completely, we cannot see that the
inner parts anymore. We just show it with a line. To show that, to save that there is a design like that
on the other side as well. And everything is
equal on each side. I will create the
tail and I shape it like this in order to
show the wool texture. It should look so puffy. Then on the body. Again, I will create
some wool textures, some curved lines in order
to show the wool texture. Just some places
randomly, not everywhere. Just want to show that our
sheep is covered with rule. And I also create a
line beneath the face. Just greening some
wrinkles to show the neck. Then from behind, from
behind and beneath the ear. I continue this slide
to complete my back. This is my sheep.
23. General illustration of the second Sheep: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are back again with
another tutorial session. In this session, we are going to create another
shape of the ship. First I will, starting with creating a general
shape for my sheep. First of all, I'm going
to create its body, which is kind of
a big, big cube. I consider it for the body. Then I will add the head to it. Kind of wider. It's something
between a square and a rectangle because our sheep this time is going to
be very chubby and fat. And I also create the shape
of its head like this, like a peanut bean. Then I create the ears out-of inside of the body because the body is
covered with wool, we can easily do these things. This is a general
shape of my sheep. I determine the
placement of it's tail. I also determine
the placement of the eyes, create them primary. And then we will create a nose and mouth
in detailing phase. And I just create a placement for their arms and legs
or four legs generally. Tune the front and
two in the back. That's it. This would be the
end of my body. This would be the
lower part of the leg. Looking like this. For four legs,
I've created this. Now this is the general
shape of our sheep. And in next step, we are going to work
on its details.
24. Drawing the details of the second Sheep: Hello, my dear friends. Now I'm going to continue
my work on my ship. And we are going to add the details to this
sheep together. Alright. I start
from the back ear, the ear which is
on the other side. Like this. Then I will create this
part above the head. And I create some designs and shaves in order to show that
this is our sheep's wool. Then with just a straight notes, very straight line, I move on toward detail
from double-check. So I create the back and
when I get to detail again, I shape it in a way that you
can see it's wool texture. Now, I will move on
to this other ear. Then I can move on
and work on the face. Because it has came
out of the wool. I created like this and then
I create this line in order to separate the outer
part of the ear. Now I move on to
create its head. I created a head in this way. Then I start creating the eye. I created from the
outside of the head. And half of it would
be inside of the face. And I want to create
one pupil looking this way and the other one
looking exactly opposite way. Just to make it
cuter and funnier. That's all. Either I know it looks so funny. Far below the eye. I'm going to create two
lines in order to show the depth over here,
some wrinkles. Then for this line
around our face, we come from this part, we come down and we
make this area around. This would be the lower lip. Then from here we can start the upper lip with
a beautiful smile. We shape this mouth. Did we connect it to
this bar below the eye? Then on this area, I'm going to create the nose. The nostrils obviously. Always this nostril
which is closer to us, is bigger and the
other one is smaller. Then I come down from
beneath my face with the wool texture until
I can create the legs. I brought this one
a little bit lower because I want the legs to
be closer to each other. Then I'm going to
create this lower part of the leg like this and then separated with a
line with a simple line. I'll do the same for the
leg which is closer to us. As you can see. All right. Just like this, you should
pay attention to that. One line. Should come up this way. This leg would be more in front. I just do exactly the same
for the legs, the back. And I create a line like this. Therefore, I would know that
the legs are the same level. I bring down this back part of my sheep's body and I
finish it over here. And I place my back leg in here. Then I'll create this
line for the leg. Therefore, the
different parts of the leg would be separated
from each other. And I create this
other leg as well. This shape. Then I separate it. Alright. Now I will create
another line for this front part of the
stomach, the chest actually. And then I'll continue
this line from here toward inside of the
body and to the end of it. Then it's several lines. I just showed the body, the texture of it,
which is wool. Now we're going to erase
all the extra lines on the face or on the body
wherever you can see one. You can actually
create a sheep's in so many different ways. It's one of the creatures
that have a lot of variety. I'm just going to create
several of them for you. You would learn and create
whichever one that you want. You can also use your creativity and increase your creativity. That said, this is
our second sheep.
25. General illustration of the third Sheep: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are back again with
another tutorial session. This time we're going to create another shape of shapes
together, versa. I started with creating the
general shape of my sheep. Sheep, spotty shape
of the sheep, which would look like this. This is actually a general
shape for its body. I consider apart for its tail, which is round for now. Then I will create
my sheep's head. I create its head in two parts. First, I'll create
a circle for it, and then I create an oval
inside of this circle for it. This position. Then I can create the ear, which we can see on
this side in here. Looking like this. These are actually
approximate placement. We can also replace some of them a little while we are adding the details
and creating them. But these are
approximate placements. They won't change completely. They might change a little. I mean, the placement. Then we divide our face in two sides and we
create the eyes, one on each side. Then we will create
this wool area for our sheep. Over here. Then we only see a
little parts from the other ear that we
created like this, looking like a rounded triangle. Then we complete the
other side of the face, then more wool on that side. Now I'm going to determine the placement of the four legs. And our primary
sketch would be done. I want my sheep's
legs to be tall. Just to make them
more different. I created this one little shorter because it's
on the other side. And it should be
smaller as well. Because it goes in perspective. I also do the same for the two legs in the back
with a bit of the sense, just to keep the balance. This leg was always
the smallest. And lists scene. This is a general
shape for my sheep. And the next step
we work on details.
26. Drawing the details of the third Sheep: Hello to allow my
dearest friends, we are going to continue our
work on our sheet together. I'll start from my sheep's
head for adding the details. Then for the front of its head. I'm going to show my
sheep's wool in this shape. So I bring it toward inside of the face and I just
give it a design. Then I add the ear. This way. Then I show this inner part of
the ear with just a line. Then I also bring down this
line to the back of its head. And then small triangle, which is for the other
ear on the other side of the face ahead that we
cannot see completely. I wanted to work for this
inner parts of the face. From the next to the eyes, I go in a little
and then I go down. I determine the
placement of the eye. And also eyebrow
would be placed here. It's a shape of an eyebrow. Then I create pupil
inside of the eye. And I'll do the
same for the other. I, obviously I'm going to make this bigger because
of the perspective. And then I create the pupil. Then I create the eyebrow
for this eye as well. Then we are going to create these rule areas on
both sides of its face. I also created a line
beneath the eyes. So in order to show the depth
and the curves wrinkles. I continue this line
and I shaped and nose. And I go in from
this area to create the mouth and abuse
ruffle smile line. I create the lower part of
the mouth in this shape. I also create a tongue for it
and I'll darken this area. Then I create an Australia, a line to separate in Australia. Then I bring this line toward inside of the
face, toward the neck. This would be our
whole mouth area. I am going to work
on this rule area on this side of the
face. In this shape. I move on to my shapes body. I'm going to shape it like
this with some curves, with some ups and
downs in order to show the wool texture
perfectly on its body. We want to show our ship
very fluffy and puffy. This way. Sheep has lots of wool. It has encoded rule
yet, know, yet. It has lots of it and we
create them very puffy. Then I'm going to
shape the tail as well as I did for the
rest of the sheep's. But this time I'm
just going to create a very round and smooth
but again puffy. Then I move between the legs, I create this stomach. I get to the chest. Over here. I go up from this part and I
connected to the neck again. Alright. This is our cues and
beautiful sheep. Now we're going to
create its legs, all of its four legs. Therefore, our work
would be completed. As the legs are coming from the top to the bottom,
they are thicker. As they come down, they get thinner like this. And this would be the
lowest part of the legs. This is its hoof which has been divided in two parts in half. I will separate these two
parts with just a line. Then I'm going to create the other leg on the
other side of the body. Then later we're going to create the legs which
are in the front. Again, this middle
line, the central line, and the line which is dividing
the two parts of the leg. I'm also going to create
some wool over here. And then I bring the
leg out of this wool, coming out toward
down this shape. You should check it with a
line that the legs would be in the same level like this
that I'm checking right now. I'm going to create the
legs in this shape. We separate the front
part of the leg. Then the last part
would be the other leg, which is the other front leg, which is in front of here and on the
other side of the body. This is our last leg which
is completed like this. All right. This is our next
ship, our last ship. And then as usual, we get our eraser and erase all the extra
lines from our work. Our sheep can show itself. Very well. We erase all these extra lines
and all these guidelines. The outcome would look
much more better. Then we would have a
very clean outcome. As you can see, I'm erasing
all of these extra lines. And our results would be completed because we've
worked in all parts of it. Now. I've also erased all the
guidelines in the legs. And this is the
result of our work. And as you could see, we've created so many
different shapes. You can also edit wherever you want to add
last, this is it.
