Hello, I'm Amelie.

I started drawing with a pencil when I was sixteen, initially focusing on pencil drawing classes. During these early years, I developed a strong foundation in portrait drawing, figure drawing, and facial features design. I also honed my skills in working with colored pencils, ink pens, and watercolors. These diverse experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of various techniques and styles.

As my interest grew, I discovered a passion for character design and animation, which led me to pursue professional character design classes. My university education in the field of animation further deepened my expertise. At the age of twenty-four, I began teaching character drawing with a pencil, combining my knowledge of traditional drawing techniques... See full profile

1. Introduction: Hello to all of my dear friends. Welcome to animals, a sketching and characterizing course with pencil. One of the most important parts of sketching characters for students is certainly the sketching of animal characters. In this course, you will learn how to sketch characters of different animals with its principles and rules, and also with the use of geometrical shapes. This course, you will learn how to sketch the characters of cat, dog, force, rabbit, mouse in different shapes and indifferent positions. I hope this scores will be helpful for you and you would enjoy it. Good luck everyone. 2. Introducing the tool: Hello to all of my dear friends. We are here again and today we want to learn about the equipments and tools which are needed for this course, which is characterizing the animals. I would start with my F2 it because first symbol. We are going to create our primary sketch for our characters. And I will do it with the use of my at it. And I would also use b or B2 pencil. It is going to be needed for our work. This is B and this one is B2. I've chosen these pencils because our primary lines for our primary sketches are going to be drawn lightly. And then we've made sure that our work is okay, and it's correct in all aspects. We can use pencils with higher numbers and fix our work. But for the beginning of it, it's better to start our work with B or B2 pencils. Now, for our attitude, we also need this. And just pay attention that the type of your edit and the type of your lead or it's a tip, would be the same. So if you choose one of them, 0.5, the other ones should also be 0.5 you shouldn't choose. For example, is 0.7 lead for 0.5 at it. Even if you can't see the leader violated is to be. It should also match your pencils. So you can create softer lines. Now, after all of these, we need obviously a pencil sharpener. These are which have this kind of a case at the bottom of them are the best because it will make your work easier and faster. You would also need a sharpener for your pencils. And after that, we definitely need erasers. We would definitely definitely need our dough eraser. This is a necessity. So you should definitely have a dirty eraser. You can also have pencil erasers. 3. Basic principles of animal illustration: Hello, My dearest friends. We are here. We did course of characterizing animals. We want to see what do we need for the beginning of our course of characterizing the animals and what things are important. So I would teach you a general structure for the animal's head. We can consider this and start this with a circle. The beginning of our work is creating a circle. In general placement of the head. This would be different in different animals, but generally do face of most of animals can start with creating a circle. Then we would determine the placement of our animals jaw. And then depending on the animal that you're working on, this area can be different. It can be bigger or smaller than this. Either way. Based on the animal that you're creating. This part can be different. For example, for a rabbit or a bunny, This part is not too big and it's not too small. A medium size compared to the size of the face. For example, for the dog, you should create bigger nose. For a rabbit, you should create a smaller nose. All of these that happen in creating your face depends on the animal that you are creating, on which animal that you're creating. I would also tell you another point is about the eyes. You can create the eyes completely, simply, completely simple, sorry. The shape of two ovals like this. Or you can just get eyes closer together or event in some animals, you can create the eyes as smaller. All of these depend on what kind of animal you're creating and it will differ from each animal to another. But generally for the dogs, you should create the jaw longer. But in some other animals, this is not possible. In the front view, it's not possible therefore. For example here this would be to nose of a dog. And then they would have the line for its mouth are almost also create a tongue for it, for example. Then for this part above the nose, we will create one or two lines in order to show the depth of the job because in front view you cannot show the length of the jaw. But if you are creating your animal in the side view or three phases view, showing the jaw is so much more easier. Example for this side view, depending on the dog that you're working on, you can change the shape of the nose. For example, you can create it like this. Or you can make it look like this. If this is your jaw, you can create your nose like this in this shape. You would actually create the nostril for your nasal area. Again, I say depends on the dog that you're creating and the view that you are creating your dog in. It can have so many different types, so many different shapes for creating the jaws, the eyes, the nose, or even the mouth. Generally, you should pay attention that which kind of animal you're working on. Another point is about the ears. They are XO of animals. Again, depends on the type of animal that you're creating. You might, for example. You might be creating a cat. Therefore, you should create a small ears for it. Or you might want to create a rabbit, therefore, you should create long and thicker ears for it like this. Then with some lines you would definitely show the volume of the ear. Then for example, for inside of the air, you can use some lines to show that inside of this ear we have a volume at a depth or an event. Now, you might have some hair inside of it. You can use these kinds of lines. You should consider that everything that I'm telling you generally right now, we will actually apply them in each one of the animals one-by-one in their own episodes and you might not worry about it right now. I'm just telling you the general principles. And then later I will explain them one by one in each episode. For example, if I wanted to create a mouse's ear, would look like this. So as you can see, we have different types of ears, nose, eyes, even jaws, and so many other things. It really depends on what kind of animal you're creating. But as I said before, most of the times is start our work for the head fruit creating a circle. So this was about the mammals. But if you want to work on birds, this structure of their heads can be elicited bit different. First, we should consider an oval for the placement of their head. I mean, for the most of the birds. But if, for example you want to create a pigeon, you can start with a circle for its head Bug. Most of the birds would be a start with an oval as their heads. Then it was determined or placement of the eyes and our birds peaks because birds have also, the shape of the beak can be different in each bird. Exactly the same scenario Davy had for the jaw in mammals. We have it in beaks. For birds, we have them long, short, thick, or thin. It depends on the type of bird that you want to create. If I wanted to give you an example, for example, if I wanted to create a doc, you will create this oval. If you want to work into side view, you should create it speak like this. I will consider it a general placement for the beak. And because you are creating a dog, you should also come inside of the face and determine these placements, but you will come up to this area and then from this inner side, you will come out and in again. This would be deep beak of a duck. From this side view, this is the placement of the eye. As you see, for example, this is a structure of duct speak. But if you want to create power it for example, you should change the shape of your beak. You can see Debbie cuff, my parrot is more volume and it's chubby. Or actually first we will consider an oval and then you'll bring it toward inside like this. And also from this side, you will come toward inside of the face and then from this lower part, you will create the lower beak. You can also determine the placement of the nostril on the bake. This was about the bigs and they would also differ from each other. And it depends on what kind of a bird you are creating. You should definitely consider this in your works. This was an explaination about the general structure and shape of the animals and the birds heads. But I will explain them in details in each episode. 4. General illustration of the first cat: Hello, I love my dearest friends. We are here with our first episode and session with characterizing animals. And together, we're going to start our course. I will start this course with characterizing a cat character because it's actually the simplest animal that we can use for the beginning of our work. We're going to start with cats. First, I will start with creating the primary sketch for my character. First of all, we will create a circle for our work. But on the top of our circle, It's a little bit thinner. And as it comes down, it will be a little bit wider and chubby. Or maybe, because if you look at a cat's face to lure part of it is definitely wider and it has more volume. And the top of its head is thinner, which is the placement of the eyes as well. We consider this in our work. For my cat's body, I would also consider a shape similar to a circle. Yet it's a bit longer volumes. In order for us to get the shape of its body. I will create a circle, which is going to become an oval. I mean, it's a long circle. It's been like our circle has been stretched a little. Then. For the legs, we would also create another circle, which is again, a little bit stretched. We consider this, can almost say it's an oval but it's more similar. Circle, it's like a stretched circle. This is the general shape of our character. Now I wanted to determine the direction of my character's face because this is very important for creating the ears. For civil. I will determine the direction of my cat's face. And after I've created this line to determine the direction of my face, I will create vuln of the ears in this area considering that it's looking that way. And I would create the other ear on this part. If the direction of cat's face was different, b should've done the ears in a different way because it's looking this way. I've created my ears like this. For placing the arms and legs of our character. We will consider that hands and legs should be on one line actually. Therefore, we'd be careful that the body of our character is placed on what area. First, we will just create a line in order to place the hands and legs on this line. After we've created that line, we will create the hands, I mean, the arms. Considering the shape of how it's going to be replaced on the floor, on the ground. We started the arms from this part, which is between our second circle and the lower part of our character's body. We will add the hands in this area. Again with a long shape, we will create our character's arms, then its paws like this. This would be the pol of our cat. Therefore, the other hand of our character, because it has the same shape, but it's at the back of the body. We will consider that this area should become LinkedList similar to the other one, to the other hand. But we do not see behind the body. Therefore, we only create depart that we can see from this direction. And obviously because it's behind my body and it's in the back, it will be stretched more and it would be longer because it goes into perspective. Just like that, we will create the second arm of our character. These are two arms for him. Now we want to work on its leg. And we will create this shape. Considered two parts. This is actually the upper part of the leg, which is connected to the body. And we've considered a semicircle shaped for that. And the other one is the lower part of the leg, which comes out of the body on the ground. We will consider an oval shape for it this way. All right, now I would also have to create a tail for my character. You can create a tail in any shape and design that you would like. I've considered this shape for my cat's tail. It's just like that my cat has rolled up his tail or her tail. Turn inside. This is actually a general shape of our cat character. Add some lines to this primary sketch, to this primary general sketch. And I will eliminate some more lines to make my sketch more complete. For example, first I will work on my character's body, and then I would move on to its face. For the back of my character's body, I will consider that this would be the shape of its body. The shapes that we've created up to now is actually the structure, the bonus structure and simple structure of our character. Now we want to move on to details a little bit more. Also create another line for my character's body and I will bring it up. Then. I will consider that we also have another link for our cat, but it should be behind our character. We will actually create the arms and the hands in a more precise way. Because I wanted the other leg of my character to be seen a little too. I will erase the extra lines here and then I will continue my work. Again. You can also note at the other leg, but I think in this way that you would have both legs. Your sketch and your design would be much more prettier and better. Then we are just erasing the extra parts here. Here we go. We do it all with our dough eraser. I would completed more. I'd want to work on the parts which should be done. The parts which are necessary to exist. If they are at day are erased. I'll just try to create them again. Then I will add the other leg as well. This part. More complete sketch. This was the primary and general shape of our character. 5. Drawing the details of the first cat: Hello to all of my friends. Okay. They've created a general shape for our character. And now I want to work on my character's face. This way, lad. I will first determine the placement of the eyes, then the nose and mouth. I will create two circles for its eyes. And then for nose and a mouth area. I will also create another big circle. Then I will consider the upper part of it for placing my character's nose. Like this. This is a nasal area. Now, from the middle of the nose, I will consider a line down and then I will determine the placement of my character's mouth. Just as you can see right now here, this would be its mouth. Well, you should consider that because the face is turned a little. We will create the left side lower and the right side a little bit more toward up. Now, I will consider that this part of our character's face is more forward and it has a volume so I can create some lines in this area to show that it's jaw is coming out of his face. Even when I've erase the extra lines, I can create two lines at the bottom of the jaw. Now that we've got two general shape, we can actually, we should actually erase the extra lines. Therefore, we can add the details into our work. So I'll erase the lines which I've created around and nose and mouth. Then I will continue my work because I erased work on it again. And I would also create the dark part inside of the eye. It's pupil actually created are faced in this direction. But I want the eyes of my cat to look this way to the right way. Also places in other directions that depends on you. I've just decided to create them in this way. Then. I would also to create my cats eyebrows above the head, actually above the eyes on top of the head. Then I would also create some lines beneath the mouth, as I said before, in order to show that this job has a volume and it's coming out of the face. I just create two lines at the top and the bottom of the jaw. We should consider also some whiskers for our cat. We create some lines here as whiskers. This way. We would also do this for the other side as well. I will just create some lines for my long whiskers. I will consider that. Because in this area my character has hearing. I would also consider a volume like this for it, in order to show that body of our character is covered with hair. I can also create a color for my cat. Just like this, for its neck. And maybe some medallion on it, some designs on my Kohler. It would look like this. Then I will come to my cat's body. And first I will add the lines for my details. The legs. I will create the lines for separating the fingers and I would also do the same on the arms and the hands actually to show the pause. But before that obviously, I will erase any extra line. Therefore, my work would be cleaner. As I said before, I will consider some lines for the fingers of my paws on the hands, as well as I did for the lake. This is also the other leg of our character. Then I would want to work on the tail a little bit more. Just to make it more clean. You know. You can even add some lines like this for it. So tip and the end of its tail would be different. We can't even shaded a little to show that it's darker comparing to the rest of the cat's body. Even for the hands, we can create some lines, four legs and hands as well. As we did for the tail. It would look like this. And you can also erase the lines back of the hand. Therefore, we can show that the hand is actually connected to the body. It's not really separated. This is a first design of our cat that we've created. You can also use some designs for the ears, as well as the lines that we had on the body, some designs for the eyes. We can also create some lighter spots inside of the eyes. And then we can create the darkness inside of the pupil after we've created two lighter spots in it. Okay, so this is our cat characterized can't have created. I would also want to work on this area. You should check your work constantly. If there is any problem anywhere, you should come back and edited before you move on, fair there in genetics steps. This is our cat characterized cat. 6. General illustration of the second cat: Hello again, my dearest friends. We are here with another tutorial session. In this session, we are going to create another cat altogether. And we want to see how it's going to work. This time I want to show a cat a standing on all four. For this. First of all, as usual, I will create a circle for the face of my cat. And again, as we did for our previous phase, I will make the lower part of this circle a little bit wider than usual because that's the shape and the structure of a cat's face. All right. Then I will connect this part. Then I've created a body part. For the body, I will create something, a shape between a circle and an oval, bit of both. Then I will create two parts for my cats hands. Just, I'm just doing general shaping now. This part goes behind the body. But anyway we create it. We would know that this area also exist. Then I'll create the pause. Now this part, and I've created, I would also add another part to this area, which will be actually the placement of the legs and a tail. I will create a bit of a smaller circle here. We did good distance from the first one. We can create a back-end the stomach of our cats in between here. After I've created these two circles, I will connect them with these two lines. Then obviously I will add the legs because actually we want to keep its balance. We will divide the legs in two parts. One of them is the upper part of the leg and the other one would be the lower part of the leg. Something that we should consider is that we would have to create a line. We can place our hands and legs on the same alignment. It can be seen that it is a standing on the ground. Because now we are just creating the general shapes we use. So many lines. Bondsmen, we want to move our work further. We would definitely erase the extra lines. This was at a second leg of our cat, which we can not see the upper part of it because it's behind the back, behind the body. So we just create the lower part of our, LET then outlines I will be adding my cat's tail. This time. We will create an even more different tail. You would get to know two different ways that you can actually create. A tail. Is specific about detail, is that we would definitely create the ending part of the tail to tip off detail, wider and thicker comparing to the rest of detail because In this way, It's cuter and it has its own personality. Mostly because it's cuter. No, I will add my characters ERs to it. Because this time I wanted to face of my cat to be in this direction. We will actually create the ears according to the direction of the head. This is it. This is the other ear that I've just created like this. Then we would also cat's neck here. In this way. Very easily. Then I would complete the general shape of my body. Then I would erase the extra lines. Then I move on to create my character's face. Its details. Obviously. Right now we're going to erase the lines which are not in use for us. I mean, not really practical. They were just some extra lines helping us to create our general shapes. This way. Our cat would be more completed. Alright, now after I've erased all the extra lines, you see how clean air at GOT going to complete this parts of the face. And then I will add the lines, the details for the rest of the body. First of all, we will create and determined the placement of the eyes. I will consider big areas for the placement of the eyes. Looking like this. Then inside of it, we will create our character's eyes. In order to make it even cuter. I want my cat to look this way, so I will create its pupils toward this side. Then. Determine the placement of my cat's nose. After that, obviously its mouth. Now, I want to create the mouth of this cat open. As I come to decide after the nose. I would also come from here down and go up again. It's kind of like a U-shape. We can create the mouth of our cat open. Just like this. You'll see it's like it's laughing. Then we can also create a tongue to teeth for it. Small teeth. Yet they're still teeth. Then from the part above the nose, I'm bringing a line all the way down. Then I bring it to their body. Just giving my cats some designs. I would just do the same for the other side. As well. As you can see, my cat is done here. 7. Drawing the details of the second cat: Hello, my dear friends again. We're going to continue our work on our character here. And we are going to go into the details together. Then with continuing my work, I will create my cats eyebrows. In this upper part of the eye that we've created, we'll consider a part for the eyebrows like this. And then I will move on to the eyes. And also for the eyes. I will work the inside of the place and I've already created for this part. Then I will create the darkness inside of my eye. I would also do the same for the other. I will add the darkness inside of the eye. I will complete this eye area. Then. I will want to work on the ears. I mean, inside of the year. So I would add some details inside of my ear. Then for my cat. I'm going to create some hair for the front part of his head. Just to make it cuter. I'll just add some hair to him. Like he's a style that's hair. Then I would also work on the other ear as well. Create the inner part like this. And then just like that, I would work on the cat's mouth. And then I will darken this inner part, a letter like that. For the nose. I would do it like this. And I would also place, let us whiskers for our cat. Obviously. We would have the whiskers in this way. Then for this front part of our cat's body. I would also wanted to create some more hair. It would look like this. For the part below the mouth, I will create a shape like this. In order to show that our mouth is open and we have a volume for our cat, which has an open mouth. For this part of the face. I would also add some kind of a hair texture because it's a cat and it's spotty is covered with hair. I would also add some curves and prominent parts. Make a better volume for our face. No, only want to work on my cats front leg. This way. I'll add some details to this hand or to dislike. Just going to shape the lines a little bit more. Comparing to vaudeville have created simply at first and just shape it in a more organized way. For example, if you see on this hand, I'm shaping the arm and I come down to the paws. Then we would also show the fingers on the pulse with the lines that we are creating. The power to divide these areas. Then we would want to go on the parts that we want to show. Our cat has some hair. Then for this area, we will create two lines. In this way. Then for this front leg will make a separation like this. Also for the back of the leg, I will use some lines to shape it more and better. So that I can show cat is holding this foot, is leg up and it's not completely on the ground. Then I'd want to work on the leg which is placed in the back. We will complete it with more details. Then for the tail area, I would add some more lines like this. What can we do? We can actually come here and this part is in the front of our work and just with a line I've separated from the stomach area. We can come over here and create some shapes and lines as designs on our cat's body in order to make a cuter and make it a little bit more unique. So it's going to be in this way. We will get a cat out-of-sync, so ordinary. And we actually make some unique designs on it. Then we would not do that for the inner part of his body, which is came down from the mouth to down to the stomach. We just do it, do create these shapes on the outer part of its body. We're just going to create this. Then we will finish our work. This is the shape of our cat. Now I can also clear the extra lines for it as well. The lines that can be faded or an erased at the end of the work. So this is the general shape for our cat that we've created here. 8. Illustration of the third cat: Hello Joan, my dress forensic again, we are getting to continue our work on a sketching different coins, cat characters. This time we're going to create a different shape compared to the ones that we've already created. Now, I want to start with two general shapes and create a cat. This way. Well, first of all, I will create almost a rectangle for the head. This would be the head of my cat. I would also consider a shape almost as a square for my cat's body. I mean, I will consider this shape for my cat's body. I mean that this sign we are going to work with just some geometrical shapes and volumes. This is the first shape of our work. And now we are going to determine the placement of the body parts and the face parts for each of them. For my character's head, for my cat's head. From inside of this volumes that I've already created, I will find a new shape like this. For the ears of my cat. I would create two shapes over here. Then. I will determined the placement of my cat's face. Show you the parts of the cat's face. Right now we're just creating the general shapes and then later we will add details to it. Now, I will use a line that I've brought down with my cat's body. This line that I brought down, I will create a hand of my cat. And I would also create the back leg from this corner. Then move on to the other hand. And I'll create a corner raise line toward, up, toward the face. This way. This would be actually the other hand of our cat. Dan. I would also create a very chubby tail for my cat. Looking like that. Then because I didn't see the leg on this side, I just only create a line representing the leg behind the tail. Then with a software and smoother shape, I will complete my body. This is a general shape of our cat's body. Now, we want to work on the cat's face and create more details for it. So I'm just adding some lines to create more details here. I would also do it for the hand area. Then I would do the same for the other side of the face, which kind of similar lines. I was surprised the work. Then we'll move on to our cat's mouth. And also another line for here. In order to show that there is a volume over here and it's not flat. Then after that, I would move on to create the eyes of my cat. First I'll create two circles for the eyes. Then place a pupils in the direction that I want my eyes to be looking. My kind is looking in this direction and then at last, I will create my cats eyebrows on the toughest area above the eyes. Then I would move on to my cat's whiskers and I also at them, I was shaped and knows more and better and I will also darken it. Color it black. For inside of the eyes. I would also create some small details because generally it has small years. This was our different cat, as you can see, it's much more different than the others. Obviously, a little choppier. Then I last I would go to the legs and hands on the polls actually, and I was separate the fingers and divide them with creating some lines. This way. This is the general shape for our cat. The parts that we've actually and add it to our work and deleted from it. Right now I'm going to erase the extra lines all over in my work, the one that I don't need anymore. Primary lines. This way. Our cat will show itself even better with erasing the lines which are extra and we don't need them anymore. Because we don't have any use for them. This way, our cat even can be seen more. Then come over here, add some details that got erased in the process because while you're erasing the extra lines, sometimes you accidentally erase some details to therefore you can come back again with your pencil and create them. In this way. This is a cat that we were able to create with some simplest shapes. Then for making artwork even more attractive, I can keep the part which is inside white and colored. I gave a slight shade to this outer area, our part of his body to make it more different and more attractive. Hands, the legs, tail. Also on the face. You should be careful not to go inside of the eyes while you're doing this and this would be like that. Erase this part. I got the line a little. This is our third different cat character. Just doing some touch ups to make it look even better that it already looks. We are completing our cat. We are almost done. Then. You can also use it to create the lines which we want to be very thin and fine. Also maybe a little under black area inside of the eye. As you can see, because these lines are very fine. I can easily use my edited to create these fine lines. This would be the mouth and the jaw. We will also emphasize on our cats jaw. And that's it. 9. General illustration of the first dog: Hello, My dearest friends. We are here again. We then another tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create a dog character. And we would see how we can creative generally and then go into the details. On the contrary, what we did for the cat, the dog, we should consider a bigger body. I would do this with creating different parts of bodies dog in general. First of all, obviously, I would consider a circle as my dog's head. I will create it just like this. For us to have a more attractive character. It's better to start our work with some general shapes. Then for the body of my dog, I will create a big oval. I'll consider this big oval as it's spotty. Then for the lower part of the body, it's behind. I will create another oval, just like this one. All right. Then with some curved lines, I would actually connect all of these parts together. First, I will connect the head to the body. And this line will actually represent a neck. And then with another curved line, I will connect my body to bottom area. I will do the same for the lower part as well. I'll create a line, I'll connect these two shapes together. Then. I would want to create a general shape of the hands and legs. These are in the hands of my dog. That I just first generally shape them with an oval and a circle at the bottom. Again, I say for shaping my hands, for creating them. First we will create an oval, then the bottom of it, we will create a circle for actually the middle part of the hand, the placement of the elbow and joints. Then again, I will create some straight lines coming down. Then again at the bottom of it, I would have a circle. Then I create my pause. You should consider that this is a hand in front of our dog's body and also need another hand. Behind our dog's body. We should have completely the same shapes, but because it will be placed at the back of our body, behind my body on the other side. We would just move on from the PAR style we can see. Here again, we'll create a circle would come down to the straight lines because this hand is in the back. We should also pay attention to go through perspective. Therefore, we can have our work in a correct shape. This would be the Paul, a dog, which is actually placed on the ground. Now, I want to create my character's legs and also create them as well. Then from the very ending part of my body, I will bring down my lines. Should almost create a shape like this for the leg. Then a circle. We will connect the Paul to the upper part of the leg. As you can see, I'm placing the Paul the air sorry, I create a pole on the ground and the upper part will be for the back leg. We also have the same shapes actually, but the most part of the leg would be placed behind of the body. Therefore, it will be smaller. And obviously, I'll come do their part a little bit above this one because it's in the bag and we're going into perspective. So it should be a little bit smaller and even the placement of shapes would be upper. So as you can see, the legs and hands would replace like this in a very good perspective. Now I want to create my dog's tail. On the contrary of the cat's tails. The dog's tail is definitely shorter. Choppier, fatter, thicker. Anything that you want to name it. If you just go through the rules and differences between the anatomy of dogs and cats, you can just create them so easily. You should first, no two basic rules and differences in their anatomies. Know on to head, I'm going to first place the ears. Will create them like this one would be on this side. You should consider that again. In the ears. Difference between the cats and dogs is that cat's ears are always small and they are pointing up there completely sharp. But dog's ears usually come down and they are just not pointed up. And they will be created completely smoothly and softly. And I will create a guideline because I want my dog's face to me in this direction. Then I would also create its jaw displacement of its nose and mouth. And I want to place it over here. I'll shave it. I'll just create it with a general shape. Alright. Now that we've came here and we've determined the placement of the body parts. We can come to the next level of are doing can also shape Elizabeth of its bag and bring its bought little bit higher buttocks area actually. Alright, this is the first step that we've created, a general shape. 10. Drawing the details of the first dog: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We're going to continue our work on our dog here. First of all, we are actually going to add the details. This is our next step. As you've seen before, we've created our general shape and now we want to work on the details this time. If I wanted to start from the ears, I will just shaped him a little bit more. Looking like this, creates some kind of a hair texture on different parts of the ear and even on different parts of the body. We can show that dogs bodies covered with hair. It has a layer of hair on its skin. As we can really see them. In this way. With these lines that we're creating here, we can obviously share that. All right. Now, I would come here and for my dog's face, the part that I want, the eyes, the eyebrow, with a general shape. I will determine the placement of the eyes and eyebrows. Day would look like this. Then. We would also determine the general placement of the nose. And after that, I would move on to the mouth area. And I would also create that looking like this. Now. I will also want to create a tongue for our dog, which has came out of his mouth. Looking like that. Then I should come over here and erase the extra lines. Therefore, my work would look better. Just like that. I will erase the lines which are no use to me anymore. The primary lines that I've created for shaping, general form for my dog. I don't need them anymore, therefore, I will erase them. And when we erase these lines, the shape of our character will show itself much more better. Because I want to create my lines very finely. I'm going to use my etiquette. But even if you want to, you can use your normal and usual pencil that depends on you. In this way. Actually come over here and create and complete my dog's mouth. Pretty good shape. Then I would also create a tongue for the middle of it. Sorry, I will create a line for the middle of its chunk. Then I'll darken around it beneath it to show its volume more. Now, for the front part of my dog's body. I want to add some more volume in this way that you can see. I just use my lines and I will show them my dog has a volume of hair on this front part of it spotty, looking like this. Then I will come to the eyes. And I would also complete these in a way that I will create a circle for the eyes. Then inside of it. I will darken it this way. Then after that, for my dog, I will create some eyebrows. Looking like that. Because I want to make it even cuter. I would also work on this part of its face like that. Okay. Now, for this front part, with some lines, I will create some volumes. I mean, I create these lines as a representer of the volume of the hair. Then we move on to the hands. And in order to show that they have also a volume layer of hair is covering our body. I would work like this. We are actually adding the details. We will actually decrease, increase the lines wherever we feel like in order to create the ultimate sketch. Because the ones that we've created before are just guidelines and general shaping and it doesn't contain any details. I will determine the placement on the fingers for the hands. Then in this way, I would also create the volume of the hair which it has on its body. With deadlines that I've just created over here and all around. It's spotty. We're just showing it that it has hair. Now for the part beneath its stomach and its belly. I would also create some lines. I will just show them with these. Then again, I move on to the back leg. And I would also created with the same lines. This way I will separate the fingers of the legs as well. Now for this front leg of his, I will shape hair like this. Then after that, I will create the paws. Off course, I will create some lines to separate the fingers on the pulse. Then for the tail. I just continue the same process for creating that hair texture and hair volume on detail as well. This is our dogs character. Now, I will erase anything in my work that is extra, and I'll erase all of these extra lines. Are word would be seen cleaner and better. Then I will erase the lines which are not necessary for me. The general shape of my work would be way more better than it can be seen better as you can see it right now. Then for this inner area, you can also use some lines to emphasize the hair texture. The volume that it's got. This is our dogs character. 11. General illustration of the second dog: Hello, two alumni, dear friends again. We are here. We then another tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to work on another shape of the dog. And we would see how we can create this fun. We are going to change the shape of our dogs character. I will start with a circle for its head, obviously as I've always done it. And I will create a circle completely and I'll consider it for its head. After we've created the head, very, very slightly, we come down and we create another bigger circle. It should be bigger than the first circle that we've created because we are considering this circle for its body. Because I want my dog to be in a shape that stomach area is more forward. Legs are a bit more back forward. I will just bring it into perspective and middle of this circle that we've created for the body, I will create another circle. Small distance from this one. Like this. Because we won't to perspective to be completely respected here. Now that I've created main shapes, sorry, I'll connect these different parts together. And then after that, I will move forward to creating its hands and legs. First of all, with some curved lines. I will create a neck and I will connect the head area to body like this. Then move on to the body of my character. We two lines. I will connect two parts of the body together. Just as you can see I've done here. Now that we've worked on different parts of the body generally, we are going to determine the placement of the hands and legs. Basically from this middle area of the circle that we've created. I will create my hand. Actually start creating it. First. I will create a circle, which is actually between a circle and an oval. And then for the middle joint of my character's hand, I will create a circle. Then again, and little bit beneath it. I will create a smaller circle. Then I connect all these parts together. Let's simple lines. Then for the rest of my hand and for creating pause, I will create a shape like this. It looks like an oval, but it's not really complete. It's actually connected to the circle that we've created at the end of the hand. I wanted to work on. The other hand, will the most part of that is behind our body as it's in the other side. So we start from the circle for our joint and V c it from there. I can start from my joint area or otherwise, I can create the oval and the top of my hand over there, but later you should definitely erase it because. It's not supposed to be in this sketch and it's not supposed to be seen. And you should pay attention that you should create the hands in the perspective. Because as you know, the body is not straight. We should consider this obviously. Now I will create a circle for the ankle actually for this part of the leg that connects select to the Paul and then I sorry, that connects the hand. And then I bring it on the ground. I want to work on the legs. And at last I will create detail. First, I will create the language is more in front. I mean, it's in this side of the body. I will create our circularity joint. Then another circle with some small distance from the previous one. And then another circle which is smaller than the two previous ones. Then I will connect all of these shapes together with some lines, with two lines, actually, one in front, one in Tibet. Then here I would create my pol. Then because I want to bring it into perspective, I will create another line as I did for the hands beneath my legs. And then I would move on to creating my back leg. I just going to create it with the same shape with the same procedure. Because if you pay attention, it should be created in this direction. I will just create some guidelines for myself. Therefore, I can have my leg into correct angle and in the correct direction. Ending part and also the pol of the leg would be created like this. But the most part of it is actually hidden behind the hand. It's not really clear and you can not completely see it. Now, why we are going to create the details, we will complete these lines, don't worry about them. Now I'm going to add detail here. I'm just going to add it to the shape of my character. Would have it looking like this. As I said before, details in dogs are usually thicker. Then I would determine the placement of ears as well. I would place them in my character's head. I'm just doing the general shapes of it. But definitely later when I want to work on the details, I will work on the ears as well. I would also create the other ear here, this side of the head. Then in the detailing phase, I will come back and complete them more. Dan for the jaw area. I'll create also another general shape which kind of looks like a heart. If you pay attention, especially at the top of it. Then the next step I will add the details to it like the nose and mouth. This is actually the basic and a general shape of our second dog character. 12. Drawing the details of the second dog: Hello To love my dearest friends again. We have gone into the next step, which is actually adding the details to our character. Now, I would have started from my character's face. Then. I will add the details step-by-step. I will start from my characters ears to add the details that I want. I will do this slowly. So much cautious. Then I would move on to the other ear. In this way, I will determine the outer part and the inner part of the ear. And for this inner part of the ear, we can also have some lines looking like this for showing the volume of hair which it has inside of the ear. Then for this front part of our head, for the front part of our dog's head. We can also consider as shaped like this, a volume like this. I would actually create the lines for the face like that. In order to show that face does have a volume. I'm just adding the details now. Okay. Now we want to move on and create our dogs. I. This I, which is further from us, is smaller. And the one which is closer to us obviously is created bigger. This way. I will create my dogs eyebrows as well. I will actually create them like this. Then after that, I would also create the inner part of my dogs. I will darken it. I would do the same for the other eye as well. And then for the jaw of my dog. Just determined the place of the nose this way. Then I will also create nostrils. Then we will get to the lips. Then with very soft lines, VR going to show them like this. I will create the next part. Then I will connected to their upper lip. We get to the NYC area. This way. Then for my dog, I would also create a cooler. Looking like that. Then we will have a shape around an egg will go all around the neck. For my dog's mouth, which showing the volume of the hair. I will continue my work. Then. For depart as front hand. I will come down with a line which has already started from the top. And just like that, I'll bring the line down for the part on the back. I will make my hands more complete. In this way. Then. I would also work on the fingers. I will actually separate the fingers of the Paul with some lines. And I would do exactly the same for the other hint with some sharp lines for the back and very soft lines for the front part. I will continue. Then. I would move on to my dogs belly, stomach. Then I would also create the back legs like this. Then for the back, you can create the lines in this way. We also create a poll and move on to the next leg because you would have to have four of them. But the procedure for all of them are almost the same. Then I want to create this part of the back. And just like that, I will create its shape very softly. Then I move on to detail and created with some more designs and shapes in order to show the texture of the hair on our character. I'll continue. And for some parts, I will actually use these lines to show the volume of that area. This is the general shape for our dog that we've created. And V added some details to it. Now we will erase the extra lines so the general volume of our dog would be determined and it would be cleaner and obviously better looking. So I take my eraser and just erase wherever. I have extra lines which I don't want. Just like what I'm doing right now. You should just erase these lines from your work as well. I'm just doing it. My guidelines would be completely removed, erased. Like this. Our dog will actually find its own shape and attractiveness of our dog can be really seen. This was the second dog character that we've created all together. We can also work on the lines around the eyes and nose. Wherever there we have finer lines, we can use our edit and make the lines a little bit bolder. You should also erase this line. Sorry, I forgot to do it. But now I did it. Here we are. This is our second dog character. 13. General illustration of the third dog: Hello, My dearest friends. We are here back again with another tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create another dog together. For this dog. I want to create a very long small dog. Because I want you to know that if you want to create the body of your dog to be longer, how you should create it? First of all, obviously, I start my work with creating a circle as my dog's head. In this way. Create the head. Then for the body, I'm going to start creating circle, which is a little bit out of shape. And it's something between a circle and an oval like this. Then after that, for the ending part of it. I'm just going back from this part that I've created my work. I go back and with a small distance, I create smaller circle compared to the other parts of the body. Now our circle also is a bit more stretched. So after that, I will connect all of these shapes together, some lines easily. Then move on to the rest of my work. All right. Now, I would also determine the placement of the hands with creating an oval. Then I want one of my hands to be up. I mean, I don't want to place my hands on the ground. So you would also see how I can do this and how it's going to be possible. I should create it in this shape that you're seeing right now. If you want our hand to be held up in the air, instead of going down, we will just turn and bring them up. We should consider that, although we've moved toward up the line that our dog is walking on, should be existed here. We should have this line as the floor or ground. And wherever we want the legs, hands to be placed should be all the same direction. Now I want to create this part like that. And then I would easily create my work from the ground. And then I move up like that. Just as easy as that. If this one would be also placed here, we can create the back legs. This shape, as you can see, this shape. Then we will create the other leg like that. I will add the other leg with this shape very easily. It's actually the same procedure that we've done for the other parts. Then we also determine the placement of detail. So I'm just going to place my tail over here. And then I would come down over here and shaped and nick of my character little bit more to make it more connected to the body. Then I would also determine the placement of my dogs jaw. I shape it. Shape of a heart, almost stretched heart. Then should also create a placement of the ears and a general shape of it. Then in the detailing phase, I will actually come the ears. Well, this is actually the general shape of my dog's head. Then later I will add some details to it. This is the general shape of our doc. Now I'm going to add the details to it. I should also place the shape of the nose. 14. Illustration of the details of the third dog: Hello again. To my dear friends. We are going to continue our work on the dog. And the same, I want to go to the detailing phase. I actually want to add the details to my character. Alright? Obviously as you know, and as we did before, I'm going to start with the ears. For adding the details to my work. I just changed the shape of the ears and I will create some lines in these parts to show the shape of it even better. And then I will add some volume to it. This way it doesn't look flat. Now for the front part of my face, I would also add some volume like this. Then I would shape the nose this way. Then from next, who knows? I go down on the jaw line and then I would create its mouth. I would also create a mouth on this side with this slide because it's having a beautiful smile. And then for the lower part of my dog's mouth, I will create a line in this way. Alright. I want to determine the placement of the eyes and then also determine the other. I actually determined the other eyes placement and created which is more closer to us and definitely would be bigger. And after that I will create the pupils inside of the eyes. Then I will create the eyebrows. Then I would move on to the other ear. I will create a general shape with some more details for the ear to make it look like this. And I would also add some volume to it. It's creating some more lines to give it a 3D look. Then move on to the rest of my dog's body. For this one, we're going to also create a very cute and font color. Then move on to the rest of the body. And I will complete the body to body of our dog is long. And v should definitely consider this and show this. Then we move on to the legs. I said on the back it should have a sharp turn, sharp angle. Then I would also create small legs. But still they're cute. Then I would also create a fingers on the pause with some lines for separations. And I would also work on the other leg, which is in the back, in the behind. Then from inside of the stomach, I will move forward and I get to the arms. Create its arms or its hands in this way. As I said before, this hand is holding up on the air. Created like this steel. I will determine some fingers for it. I'll create some fingers for it. And then I would move on to the hand which is in the back, I mean, on the other side of our dogs Buddy. Displacement of the fingers. Then for the front part of our color, we can also have something as a design, a medallion, a bail, whatever that you like. I'm just going to create two lines for it in order to show the dimension of this medallion on the call are you would know it's not a flat thing, it has a volume. Now I would create detail of my dog. This way. Just give it two more special shape to make it more unique. Now obviously, as we always do, I would erase my extra lines from my character so it can be seen and shown better and cleaner. So I take my anti-racist and I will erase all the extra lines, the guidelines or the premier sketching that I don't need anymore. To make my work look better. The traces of my guidelines would be erase. Then. We will also erase the inner part of the medallion that we've created. Also the nose, the ears. We have some extra lines. You should definitely erase them and then move on generally. And finally, we would have a better outcome. In this way. Erase the extra lines. We can come back and work on the lines that have accidently that have been accidentally erased or if enlightened because while we are working with your eraser, although it's very thin and you can just gently erase all the lines, but you might just go over some parts, accidently, lighten some areas or race them so you can always come back and make the main lines of your work Bolden emphasized. Then we can also create some polka dots in some spots on the body of our dog. Just as some designs randomly know, anything is not anything special. This is another type of dog character that we've done together. I also go over the eyes and nose one more time in order to make them darker and pop out more because these parts should be darker. Then. We can also make some distance between this ear and the face. In order to show the shape of our face. More and more. This way can actually separate the ear from the face. You can see it better. Well, sketches complete, and you can just enjoy it. Enjoy the work that you've done. Just as easy as this. This was a third dot character that we've created together. 15. General illustration of the first rabbit: Hello, all of my dearest friends, we are here again. We then now they're tutorial session. As always. In this session we are going to create another coined of animal together, of course, characterizing another kind of animal together. This time I want to create a rabbit for you. Rabbit or a bunny. Doesn't really matter. Both of them are the same. Now, just as we always do, we start the rabbit obviously with creating a circle for my character's head. Then for its body. Based on what position I want my rabbit to be. I just create the general shape of the body. Right now. I want my rabbit to be in this kind of direction. In this kind of physician. Therefore, I will create some kind of a general shape for its body. Create this side, straight butt on this side. Just curve this area a little bit toward inside. So look like a bean. But I'm just creating a general shape for it right now. Don't worry. I wanted to determine the placement of the legs. I will also determine them with general shapes. Then later I can go on to the other parts. With some kind of this shape. I will determine the placement of the leg. Then. For its foot, I will consider a shape like this. Well, the legs and feet of rabbits are big if you've seen them. So we consider that as well. I would also at the other leg, compared to the rest of my work and compare it. Considering the perspective. The thing that I'm just creating general shapes now. Then for creating the fingers and feet. I would also create another shape as I did for the other side. Now I want to determine the placement of the hands. I want to create one of the hands from this side and toward inside of the body. Like this. Then for the hands and fingers, I will create this shape. Again, I say we were just working on generals now. Then I want to create the other hand, raising up. So I want to create it in this direction and I want to bring it up. Therefore, I'm going to use a stretched shape. Consider also apart at the ending part of my hand for the fingers. Later we will add the details to it. Don't worry. Now for my rabbits tale, I will just consider a general volume and general shape. This looks like a semicircle. Now, I would go to the most significant part of the rabbits, the ears. I'm just going to create the ears of my rabbit. Generally shaped right now. This swing with two stretched and long ovals. I will determine the placement of the ears. Then I move on to the other ear and create another general shape for this ear as well. This is a general shape of my rabbit and my work. Then in next step, we will actually add the details to our work. 16. Drawing the details of the first rabbit: Hello again. Well, we are back to work on our rabbit and create more details for it. We are going to complete this character and push it one step forward. As I did before, I will start from my rabbits ears because it's actually the toughest area. I will divide the inner part of the ear from the outer part of it. Then I would also change the shape of my ear a little to give him more volume and give it a better shape. Now I'll do the same for the other ear as well. Do this same vein where he cute. I will fill it. Then again, I create a line which is going to divide the outer part of the ear from the inner part of it. Because I wanted to be cuter. I would also add some hair to my rabbit. Now I went to create volume of the face and I want to get it out of this simple way that we've just created it. So I would have to add some more volumes in some parts. As I come down here, I create a bump, I create a prominent area, come out a little. On the other side. I would do the same from here. I I mean, from the top I come down, then I come out. I go around again. Because these would be actually our bunnies are rabbits cheeks and obviously they have cute big checks. Then I'll create the line for the direction of my face. Then I determined the placement of the eyes. I'm creating them actually, one here and the other one would be placed here. Then I would also create the inner parts of the eyes. First, you should determine that your character is looking in which direction after you've determined that, because I want by Rabbit to look this way. So after you've determined that you can easily create your pupils and your eyes in the direction that you want your character to look. Also, go over the top part and bottom part of the eyes and little bit more with my pencil in order to darken them a little bit more. Then I will create the eyebrows, find my rabbit as well. Makes it just a cute. Then I want to create the most important parts, nose and mouth. This way. First I will determine the placement of the nose. I create the nose, then I would create my character's mouth. I bring it up in this way because I wanted to have a cute smile. And obviously also because my rabbits head is a bit tilted and turned, we see this area more comparing to the other side has a very significant 0 rabbits, it will create two teeth in front of the mouth. These are actually the features that separate rabbits from other creatures. You've seen it all, I'm sure. Then I will create these lines to separate this part of the face and make some lines to show our rabbits face more. So because we see the left side of its face more. B create the left eye bigger than the rider I. Then the right eye, sorry. And then we'll do the same for the mouth. Because we wanted to show that the mouth and nose are actually coming out of the face. We will create these two curved lines to represent the volume. Then for this part of rabbits phase I will create some textures to give him more volume as the checks and you would know detects drove it. For both of these matters. We will actually create these textures. We want to show that our body is covered with hair. I would move on to my character's body. And this way, I'll create the volume of the body for this hand of my rabbit, which is coming inside. Again, I just continue creating the volume that I want to texture that I want as kind of a hair that exists on rabbits body. Then I want to create my rabbits fingers. I want to create them in this way. Then after that, I'll move my work for wired like that. Now I'd want also want to create some fingers For the other hand. As its resonant to the air. Fiercely, I'll create a thumb for it just to make it cuter and more cartoony like, more character like. And all of these are because we want our rabbit have also more personality to itself. And also for the tail because we want to show that it's very, very fluffy and it's a volume connected to our body. We will move on, I work with these lines. Then. I would move on to the lines for inside of actually four inner parts of my rabbits body, which came down from here. I use this line to separate my rabbit's body into two parts, the inner part, the outer part. Then I want to create my rabbits legs. I would create them in this shape. Then for the fingers of the foot. I'm just going to create some straight stretch lines to share my rabbits fingers on the legs. Then with this line, again, I will separate and apart on the top of the leg and the top of the foot from the lower part of it. I would also move on to the other leg because it's coming forward. Again. We can see a little bit of it from the back. The rest of the foot will be created. In this front part. The procedure of creating the fingers, or the same as we did for the other leg. We would also create fingers like this. And for the part on top of my foot, I will separate it with this line that we've done all the works here. We will have to erase the extra lines now in order for our work to be seen better and cleaner as usual. And I am just getting my editor eraser and I will erase all the extra Linus wherever they are. They should be erased and eliminated. All my guidelines and my extra lines. This way we would have a very, very good outcome. You can see beautiful volumes and more beautiful designs into work. Also texturizing. Just like this, everything's gone. Then again, of course. Then again of course. Get my pencil. Just some little lines on this in their part of the body and even some smaller lines inside of the year. We show that even in these parts we have some volumes. We also go or the parts that were accidentally erased by our eraser, but we need them because their main lines. Here we go. We shared the textures and volumes and details all together. This is our beautiful rabbit. 17. General illustration of the second rabbit: Hello, my dear friends again. We are going to continue our work on characterizing rabbits together. We want to create another different type of rabbits in different position, generally a different rabbit. This time I want to create a rabbit while it's sitting. As usual, I will create with the general shape of my character's head, which is a circle. Alright, this for the lower part of my rabbits face, I will consider an oval. We can do this as we did for our previous rabbit, or we can just do it in this method. And this way for creating our rabbits cheeks and different shape of the face. This is a general volume and shape for our head. Now I want to work on my rabbits body. I will create almost a smaller circle for here. Even for creating the shapes of animals for our animal characters, we would also use very simple geometrical shapes at the beginning of our primary sketches in order to make it better and simpler to create. Then for the ending part of my rabbits body, I will create an oval. This way. Then. Obviously I'm going to connect these two parts with some lines together to kind of shape the body shape. Then this would be placed for my rabbits tale, which I'm going to use another circle for it. But this one is really small. Now, I should also determine the placement of the legs and the hands. For the first leg. I'm just going to create an oval. I would create another oval on this side because their hands are going to be placed here. I will create my hands like this, bring them down. And I place them here in-between the two legs. Again, I also create the hands with the shape of the oval. That's a part of it is a little bit curved toward inside. Then I will create the other hand next to it, right next to it, here between the two legs. The other leg, as you can see, can be seen from this side and we've created a general shape for it. All right. Now for this part, I'm going to determine an area for the placement of my rabbits nose and mouth. Because the nose and the mouth of our animal is on a volume. It's not flat. It doesn't have a flat face and start just flat on its face like human. Now it's coming out of the face and we should just show them. Then if we consider this as the direction of our face, we will consider our eyes to be placed here. Then obviously, I would go to the ears and I'll create kind of a general shape for its long, long ears. Long and stretched ears. This way. This is actually our primary sketch and general Schaefer, our character. Later we will move on and the next steps in episodes, we're going to dive into the details and create them. 18. Drawing the details of the second rabbit: Hi again. And we are going to continue our work on our rabbits character. We're going to dive into the details a little and add some more to our character. Well, I start from the ear area and I will divide the inner volume of my ear from the outer one. Actually with creating this line, I'm giving it some more dimension. And for inner parts of it, I will also create some lines to show that it also has a depth. These are actually some representers of the volume of our ear. Inside of our ear. Then I will move on to the forehead, kind of to front part of our rabbits head and would also create some hair for it. Then I would work on the other ear. Now I want to work on my rabbits face with some lines. I'll give it texture, I'll give it volume, especially on the cheeks. We need some texture. Then I want to create my character's eyes. And again, I wanted to look this way to the left side. For inner part of my eye first I'll add shape, then another one around it. Then I will create my pupil. Here. Now I want to create the other eye. And exactly as I did for this side, I will do for the other. I should just consider the perspective. And you're all good to go. Create the volume for the other eye pupil, which is looking this way to the left. Then after that, I want to create my rabbits knows which should be definitely cute. I'm going to create it like this. And also create a line or a curved line above the nose just to show that it's a volume and it's coming out of the face, it's not flat. Then I will create the mouth in this way. And it's having a BU to fill a smile. I would also first go down and then go up on the other side as well. Then I will actually turn this line I will choose that are lethal and turn it to show that even on the other side, there is some volume still that I'll create it to significant teeth. Now. I also want to show some little volumes for the lower part of my character's face. And on this side, from right next to the I come down then I'll create a volume of shape and texture with showing the hair texture. I will go over my cheeks. I'm just going to add some whiskers, my rabbit. So I will create some lines coming out of this area. Note too much just to show the whiskers of the rabbit. And let's not forget about the eyebrows rabbit. In order to make it even cuter that it already is. Then I will just darken this upper part of the eye and also lower part of it. Then I'll move on to my rabbits body. For the front part of our body. I will get use of a large of lines. And with these shapes and lines are actually giving my character's body is special volume. With these designed curved and straight lines. Then I would continue to the arm of my rabbit. First this one. Determine the hand. Then I will do the same for the other hand. Okay. Then I was also created leg which can be seen from behind. And then I'll determine some fingers for it. Look so cute. And we would also determine these fingers and create them for our hands as well. Then I would want to create the front leg and I'm just going to show it with this shape and volume. Then obviously I'll create fingers just like the rest of them. Then. The ending part of the body and its tail. Again. I would determine the shape of the body with some lines. For the tail is specifically again, as I said before, I create some lines with different shapes to keep the volume of the tail Fluffy. This is our rabbits. Then obviously I will erase the extra, all the extra pencil works and all the extra pencil lines from my work. Therefore, you can see the great volume of it. And it would be really, really better. Here we go. We've almost erased all extra lines from our work. In this way. The only main lines would be remained and four main lines to be actually pop out of the character's sketch. Just want them to show more of themselves. The main lines mean. In order to do that, we should completely erase any extra lines. This is our second rabbits character, which is so cute. 19. Illustration of the third rabbit: Penna, my dearest friends again, we are back with another tutorial session for you. And in this session, we are going to work on another different rabbit together. Of course, I want to see how we can create even another different rabbits. It's just not similarity these ones. Noting details, of course. As usual, we start our work by creating a circle for our character's head. This time, I'm going to change my routine a little bit. Why? Because I hear created a semicircle this side with this shape. We want to see how we can actually play with the shapes and create different types of characters, this time a different type of rabbit. Then for its body, I'll create a triangle shape. Then. I will create ovals for my rabbits hands. Then for the rest of the body. I will consider a shape. This almost something between an old wall and square or circle. So I just consider it in this shape. You can actually create both sides straight and then you can bring this part, the left part out a little bit more. Then it would be the placement of my rabbits tale. It should look like this. Then I want to work on my character's legs. I get one of the legs forward. Consider it as an oval. I want to create the other leg from this side. It would be a coronary raise. One of them is straight and the other one is not. Want to create different shapes for you. So you can then later use your imagination and be able to create them differently as well. So this is the general shape of my character's body. Then I will just create some shapes for the ears, of course. Just create shapes like leaves. For actually beginning of my work. Of course, in the detailing phase it would be different. I will determine the direction of my face here. Then. For the eyes, also create another general shape. This one is actually more cartoony than the other two. Then for the placement of the nose, I will do it's like that. Then obviously I want to create its mouth, which is smiling by the way. I will just shape it like this. Enslaved to cute little teeth. In here. There are some features that And they come to our character and they actually build our character. For example, for all three rabbits, I've created, if you've paid attention, the shape of the face, the ear, and mouth shows it more that our character is a rabbit. So that's something you should consider. Now that we've created a general shape, we want to move on further to the details. I'll start with the ears. Then. Add some more lines to it to give it a depth and create some volumes then for the front part of the head. In order to make it cuter, I will definitely make her some hair. Then for the shape of my rabbits face. I would do it like this. I'll just shade it. And then I would move on to the eyes of a rabbit. And I just create two ovals for the eyes. Then. I'll create the darkness inside of the eye. And also around the eye. I'll do exactly the same for the other eye. For the eyebrows. I will create a shape like this. Ferdinand knows. I will go over it once more, but my pencil to darken this area a little bit more to show sudden Australia. There were two curved lines above it. I will show the volume and the fact that the jaw is coming out of the face, It's not flat. Then I come to this part, the chest area of my rabbit. I use some lines to complete the texture on my rabbit. Also, I wanted to show the volume of hypotonic. Then I would want to create the hands separately. With creating two fingers on these walls. We will be actually turning them from hands, from actually shapes two hands. And they have fingers. We will do it for both sides completely. Then I'll continue down to the rest of my rabbits body. This way. Then with a line. I mean, actually I will separate day inner part from the outer part, then move on to the legs and feet. Also creates some lines over here to show the fingers of the feet. And then I move on to the other languages, not straight, but it has fingers. I'll create it for them to like this. At last. I can also work on my tail and give it some texture and design to make it look better. This is our third rabbit character that we've just created them together. Can even dark and the eyebrows a little bit more, make them black. Then, as usual, we can use our edit eraser or even our eraser to erase the all extra lines we had here. Wherever I feel I don't need a line. I can just easily erase it. Anyway. That character can be seen better and more attractive. And of course then later I will come back with my pencil and go over the parts which were accidentally erased While I was erasing. Useless lines. Worry about it. You can always come back and create your work like this. Again, this is our zone. Lamaze doesn't just have to create these pipes. Again. This was our rabbit phase. 20. The initial structure of the body of the first horse: Hello, To love my dearest friends. We are here again with another tutorial session. And in this session, we are going to create a horse character. And we're going to learn how we can create each parts of it and develop it little by little. All right, first I will start with creating a circle like this. And then almost from the middle of this circle, from the center of the circle I've created. I create another circle. That from the top, it's going to be higher. From the lower part, it would be the same height as our previous circles. So from the top it's higher than our previous one, as you can see. Then I would also create a third circle. From this part of my first circle toward the left, I mean, almost from the side of it. Again, from beneath it, from the bottom of it, it's the same height as my first second circle, but from the top, it's going to be higher than our first circle. This is the volume of the body. Now I want to create denature. Then it's laid ahead. Okay, I just use line to go up. Then with a circle. I will create the volume of the head. And then from here, almost on the top of the circle, I get a line out of it. Then I add an oval like this. This area. Okay. Now I want to work on my horse's legs. I'm going to do the legs like this, that we have two legs in front and two legs in the back. One of them are again in front on this side and the other one is behind the body. I want to front leg not to be as straight and I want them just like it has been bend forward and it looks like it's moving. I started creating my line. Then I bring it forward, then I bring it down. Then after that, I would also create departs for my joints from my horse's legs, joints with circles. And then at last, I go to the ending part, which is its foot or hoof. Then for the back leg, I mean, for the languages and behind I just created a straight down. Because if we have lift this leg and we want to lift the other one, if you are holding this leg in the air and if we want to hold the other one in the R2, horse could not hold, it's balanced, so I create a next one is straight. Then obviously I created joints as well. Then for this lower part of my leg, I will add his foot. I wanted to work on my horse's back legs. And on the third circle that we've created, we are going to create our back legs. Remember that you should not started on your middle circle, you should do it on your last and third circle. First of all, I will create Lake which is closer to us. So I will create this line coronaries to the back. I mean, I created with a curve backward, then I just determine the placement of my joints and at last I would have the foot or hoof. As I said. Both are common. Thing that you should pay attention to is that V&V have created two front legs of the legs. I mean, all four legs should be on one line. But because my front leg is been holding up and it's been bent, we cannot have this leg on this line. But if it consider four legs on the ground, we can just create this line in order to make sure that all legs are in the correct position. But now because we are holding one leg in the air, lifted it. We don't need that anymore. Then again, on the back legs, the one which is on the other side of the body would be created similar to the front like David first created because I want to keep my horse's balance. Therefore, I will lift this leg and little, not too much but a little it should be lifted. I create my line, not a straight create joints and I will make my foot, I'll create my foot. I my leg in the way that I want it to be. You see, it's a little up in the air, not as much as our front leg yet. It's holding it up. This is the shape that I want my backlit to have. Generally the horse's body would not lose its balance. If you have lifted one leg in front, we should lift one leg on the opposite side in the back. Now for the last part, I'm going to create, for the last part of the body, of course, I'm going to create my horse's tail. From here, I just create a line representing my horse's tail. This is actually a general shape of my horse's body and it's just a general structure for it. In the next step, for this bonus structure, we are going to add the volume of meat and the volume of the body completely. Then we can move on to the detailing phase. After we've done that, we can easily move on to the next step, which is volume in the body. 21. Drawing the total volume of the first horse: Hello again. I'm back with the continuous of my work on my horses character and we're going to develop it step-by-step. First of all, I start from my horses hit and I will add some volume. Dad, I want to have here. So we did a line. I move forward from the circle that I've created to the oval that I've created. Then I come down, I create a little curve over here. Like this. I have the volume for my horse's face. And then we should also create my horse's ears. On the circle that I've created here, I would place two ears. As you all know, the ears of horse mean the ears of all horses are small. They are not really long or big. Then I want to create my horses neck. And I just do it with continuing a line from this circle on the top toward the circle which we have on this lower area as the body. Now that we've created this line for the part beloved and neck and beneath the head I would also, I mean, I should also create another line from the middle of our circle downward. Then I will connect it to the lower circle. Like this. Then for the back of my horses head. I would also consider It's a bit of a hair volume. Or as I say, the mane of the horse would be created over here. So I start from the top of the head because I want to make it cuter. I will start it from here. So I create a volume for the hair over here and then I continue down as the main. I continued from the back of the ears. I would have my beautiful main, bring it down. Then again. Another volume I just connected to the bottom of the neck area. Generally this was volume and shape for our horse's head and neck. It's Heron main. I want to work on my horse's back. Obviously, we've created the middle circle and it's a bit lower than the other two. Because if you can see on the horses, they have a very beautiful curve on their backs. So I just got to make these circles are the line together with a good curve on the back. Then I would create my horse's tail. Because the tails of the horses are very thick and big and it has lots of hair. I just created more volume like this. And also from this lower area, I will come again and connect these two lines together. Now I want to work the legs of a horse. For the front leg, which is bend forward, which is held up high. Consider a volume. In order to know how much you should create this volume first, I'll just create a circle around this line that I've created. And then from the beginning and the ending part of this circle, I move forward to my next circle, which is actually the joint of my leg. This way you can have the volume that you want. Then again from this one. I go to the next joint. And this way I'm having all of my volumes in the size and the shape that I want. And then from the next and the last joint circle, I would move on to the OR wishes representing the foot. All in all it would look like this. This was our first leg which was bent it which was being held up high. Again, we'll do the same for the leg which is on the other side of the horse, but because it's other side and it's in the back, which is create this circle. Although we will not see it. We created in order to have our volumes correctly because this leg is straight. We would also consider the volume for this joint and we come down like this. Because all of these joins will actually bend forward, but they do not bend backwards. So for the front part of our leg, we just created joint a little bit curved in order to show that they will be bent forward. Then we get to the last joint and we connect it to the foot. Just two simple lines. Now I want to work on my back legs. First, I work on the leg which is in front of us. I mean, which is closer to us and on this side from the ending part of my body I come down and before I get to the circle which represents my joint, just break my liner later and I then move backward. For the front part of it. Consider this volume for it. In this way. I will create a volume for my leg because our back leg, I'm actually consists more volume. Mean it includes more volume comparing to the front legs. Then I just continue downward to my last joint. Then obviously for the part which might joint connects to the foot. This way I will continue my work. From here we came a little bit forward from our last joint because we want to keep the balance of our horse. It can stand on its legs. Now I want to work on the last leg which has been left here. I start from this front part. Then we do not see the back part of our leg because it's been covered with the other languages on this side. Then from this joint, we can start creating both sides of the leg. Then we come down and again, we're going to connect the last joint to differed exactly as we did for the other legs. You see the procedure is all the same in all of the legs. Just some sizes of them are different in different places. But their process, the way we put these lines together is the same. This is actually the volume of our horse which we have created on the bone structure that we've already sketched. Now it should look like this. Now under next set we are going to add the details to our horse. 22. Drawing the details of the body of the first horse: Hello again. Love you. My dear friends. We are going to continue our work on our horse, and this time we are going to add the details to our horse. For so I will start from the head and I will start adding my details. First of all, I'll start from my horse's ears. First. I just give it a little more shape. I mean, I shape it a little. Then I will create an inner parts for my ear. And I would also create a little better why? Back ear as much as it can be seen. The ear which is on the other side then of his nail create a hair in front of my horses head would be so cute. Now I wanted to work on my horse's head itself. With the lines that I'm creating. I am easily adding the details. If you pay attention. I've just creates a curve over here and create an up and down here. Because in this area I want to add my horses eyebrow in this way. So I wanted to just separate volume and an area. Then for the rest of the face. I will move down my lines here. Then from here, I'll go out a little for its mouth. Then in again for the mouth. Then for this lower part of the mouth, I would also created like this and it's a bit back from my upper lip. Then I will give it a small line here. Then I will add didn't know shells in this way. For separating than nose and mouth, I just create a shape like this, a line like this. Then after that, I would move on to my horses. I I created as well. I create an oval for my horses. I to shape it properly. Then after that, I create its pupil in the front part of my oval. I would also make the upper eyelid a letter a bit more darker. Then for the parts beneath my horse's face, I'll create a shape like this, line like this. Then for my main, I should also create some more textures and some are shapes and volumes. I'm just shaping it in this way. Add more textures to it. And I come down. Then for this from part of the neck, I would just come down in here. I'm just going to make this part a little bit more prominent to show the chest of our horse, which should be bigger and stronger. From the front leg of my horse, I create a line like this because I want to make the body to be more volume. Because if you have seen horses, you know that it's got so many muscles. Horses usually have so much muscles and we can just easily show them. With these lines. I move on to the leg itself. Just like that. I bring it inside and this way, I will create the volume. I just add the volume over here. Then in this way, I'm just adding details to my leg. And as I said, because generally horses are very strong and big and they have so many muscles on their body. I tried to even create the joints more volume and beaker. This is the first leg which has been done in this way. But on the other length, I'm going to do the same. I even create more volume for the joints. And I tried to create all the body with more muscles and better volumes. This is how important the detailing phase is. Actually. I would do it for the back. I mean for the leg which is on the other side, our coordinates joint like this. And then I use a line to separate the foot from the rest of the leg. This is it. And now I want to move on to the back legs and just as same, I'm going to create them. But before I go there, I should also create my horses stomach from this area that my front leg is bent, holding up. I start, I come down to the tail, I create a good curve. Then I'd go back up again. Curved and shaped line. First, I'm going to work on the back legs. First of them. I'm going to work on this one which is closer to us and more in the front. I show its volume. Then in this way, I create its foot. I then go back up again toward to buttocks area. Behind. Now I would also create other leg which is on the other side of the body. This would be actually the last. Well, actually in the detailing phase, we are also editing any mistakes that we had we had had on our previous phases like creating the structures, connecting them together and all other parts. So whatever that you want to add to your work or eliminated from it, you should just do it in detailing area. In detailing phase. This would be easier for you. Then I am going to complete the volume of detail. Then we just several different lines. I'm going to create the volume of detail because I want to show that this tail is actually a volume for love hair. The texture of the whole tail is hair. These different lines we are going to show the texture as well as we are going to show the volume for our horse, for the tail of our horse actually. Now we should just erase the extra lines from our to make our work completes looking better and cleaner. So I start with my eraser and I start working on the extra lines. You should just really pay attention here in order not to erase any main lines mistakenly. But even if it happened by accident, definitely you can come back with your pencil or even your edit to work on any parts that you've erased accidentally after you've finished with all your airways things. Alright, now, I'm just working on all extra lines. I'm erasing them all. If you go on step-by-step, you can see that you can easily create some kind of a complex animal like a horse. So easily and so simply. Just with creating some geometrical shapes, connecting them together, then you have a general shape. Then you can add your details later to have your final results and outcomes. With simple steps, you can create even complex creatures. Are animals like these? You just need to do so much practice. You just have to remind yourself that you shouldn't give up at anytime because it might take time for you at first a little. But ultimately it's going to work in your favor. This way we will erase all the extra lines and we will keep all our main lines. In our horse character. The extra lines are ***** to March because the horse character needs a lot of guidelines and a lot of primary geometrical shapes and stuff like that. Therefore, it has too many lines over here. Now I will clean my work with my brush. Then I'll take my edit. One thing that I'm going to do for my horse character is that with my gray pencil color? I'm going to color some parts of my horse because it actually makes it cuter. It will make our character to pop up more and it will show itself better. I'm just using a gray color on some parts of its body for the tail, for the feet, hoofs like this. And of course, domain area. Maybe even go into the hair a little. Also. This area which includes the mouth and nose for him. Then we can even add some spots on our horses body as some designs for the skin like that. Then in this way I work with even look so cuter and more attractive. All right, this is our horse character that we've done together. Now. I'm just going to take my edited and work on some lines that got accidentally erased during our erasing work. Even some extra lines too, make to show my volume better. So generally this is our beautiful horse character can even apply some color. These legs which are on the other side of the body, just gives the volume at better look. Because it can even make it more cuter. And I used my color 396 for coloring my horse. That's it. 23. General illustration of the second horse: Hello to all love my dear friends. I'm back for you with another tutorial session. In this session, we're going to create another horse character. Alright? I'm going to start with creating the middle circle for its body. Then I'll continue that. All right? With creating a circle, we will start and then later, because we want our horse to be placed from its back position, I will start the next circle from this, from actually the middle of this circle and bring it a little bit higher. Of course, as we did for the other one. Just like that. Then I move on to create my third circle. And the third circle will actually be seen a little bit from our work. I mean, the rest of my circle is actually placed beneath the middle circle, and we can only see a little part of our third circle. This is the volume of my horse's body. Because as I said, we are creating it in a different position. Then I'll determine the placement of the head. I go up to the deadline as the neck. I will determine the placement of the head with an oval this time. Because I want to head of my horse to be turned toward us. It would have an angle like this with just a line. Then and now they're all wall complete the face. So I've just created the face there. Now I want to work on my horse's legs. Obviously. Just pay attention that differs. The front legs of my horse are placed on the third circle that we can only see a little bit of it. And the back legs would be placed on the second circle, which we can see it completely because as I said, we are seeing our horses back or behind. Now, I start on my third circle. And with line as a representer of my horse's leg. I would do my job. Then I determined it joins with circles. Dan, I would have one of my front legs with kind of straight lines. Then slag is actually placed here on the other side of the body, but we just see the rest of the leg from this side, from this part down. We've placed our drawings over here. These two legs should be very closer to each other. Therefore, we would be paying attention that these legs should not be created far from each other. They should be close to each other. Then I will create the joint area and the foot. Then I will move to the back legs in which we can almost see completely. Then for its back leg, I will create almost a big circle. Because the back legs of horses have so much more muscles and obviously we can see it completely over here. Then I would come down and I create my joints and I connect them with each other. We'd lines like this. I will create them so easily. It's simple shapes. Then I would move on to create the other back leg like that. Then again, I just consider that distance between my legs should not be too much. There should be closer to each other, not far from each other. Then the foot atlas. And then you should consider that all these legs should be placed in this angle and the front legs would be in these angle. And we're actually looking at our horse farm, it's back and it's behind, then I would actually create detail which is one of the most significant parts of the horse. This is actually the bonus structure for our horse. Now I want to add my volumes on this structure. I'm going to start from my horse's head. In this way. Then. I will create my horses neck like this. Then after that I'll just create a general shape for my ears. And then later when we are in detailing phase in detailing a stage, we would definitely work on them more and more. Then I would move on to my character's body, to my horse's body, Dan, I move on to the legs, obviously first I'm doing the front legs. I go to the joint, connect them with each other and till I get to the foot. I would also do the same for the front leg, which is on the other side of the body. As much as we see it. We create it. Then on next step, we are going to add the details to our work. Don't worry, right now. We're just creating the general volumes for our face and body knows even phase for our head and the body. Just by replacing the meat on the bones here. Just granting general volumes here. Then at last, I will create a general shape and a general volume for my horses tail. Looking like this. We're almost done here. That would be it. This is a general volume for my second horse character's body and head and tail. Next system, we're going to add the details. 24. Drawing the details of the second horse: Hello, My dearest friends. I'm here again with working on my horses character. And together we are going to add details to our sketch. I'm going to start from my horse's head. Just going to come out of the part that I've already created like this. Then I will work on this front part of the nose. I bring it up a little. Then I move on to the mouth area. Of course. I create that as well as this. Now I would also want to work on my nostrils, make it more complete like that. Then I will separate this area like this. And after that, I actually want to work on my horse's chin. I create some kind of a volume for it. As you can see here. I want to create my horses. I want to create my horses. I closed here. Therefore, we can experience and work on different types here. Different models for showing that our horses eye is closed. I just create a line out first, then I will add the volume to it like this with some more curved lines. Then after that, I will work on an eyebrow for him. Is just that the event a little bit more above than it should be. So I'm just going to erase it because I have to create the eye a little bit lower. I should create it in this position. So first I'll create the volume beneath the sky. I will add part for the upper part of the eye. Then I can work my eyebrow here, create my eyebrow here. I would move on to the ears and our horses mane and hair. I will create different part of the main like this. Just as a hair. In order to make it cuter. We have to work on the ear, which is on the other side because we only see a little part of it. The rest of it is being covered with the main. Then we can go to this back area and shape it like this. Therefore, I'm just going to shape it's a little like that and I will separate it from here so we can show the volume perfectly. Now I want to work on the neck and I want to just do it easily from here. I come down. Then for the chest and a leg. For the front leg. Actually, I create another prominent part as I did for my other horse to show that it's spotty has so many muscles then I start my leg from here. I tried to and it's a little bit more volume to it to show its muscles. Then from here, it's going to be narrow a little bit. Then I create the rest of the leg like this. Then I would want to work on the par which is on the ground, and I separate the foot area. And then on the back I will make a curve and then I'll make it prominent part right after it because this part has bones and it's actually a place where our joint connect select to the foot and the hoof. So I have to show volume like that. Then we get to the next joint. I come out again and I go in again. Like this. This as our first leg here. Then I would create a apart beneath my horses, actually both my horse's leg and create its stomach. Then I will create dip back leg. I go in and then I go down. Then I go down again. I should come out and down again. Then from this side, again, we go up. Then we create this joint area coming out a little and then we move up again. Basically wherever we get to the joints. Actually, we will bring the back part of it and out little make it prominent so we can show the joint and we can show that it's not going to be bent backwards. Then I can move on to create the back legs of my horse. And I would start creating them. Just as I did. For the other legs. The front part just comes down normal. Then we separate the hoof area, the foot, make it a little bit more prominent. Then from this side, we will come out to show the joint. Then again, we go up normally then hearing and on the second joint we will create another bump and other prominent part and volume because this leg is closer to us, it's actually the closest to us. It will be shown the biggest. Because if you consider the perspective, it should be like that. Okay. I'm going to work on the other leg and create that as well. This way that we will come down from the front part. And then because the leg has been twisted and turned, we do not want to show the joints too much, just a little. And then we go up again. Like that. We create alec. Then I will complete the part for detail. Like this. I will actually created a zine and the shapes for my tail. Because as I did before for the other horse, here I want to create the volume and at the same time I want to create kind of a texture for it. Then I go up. This would be my horses behind and then I move onto its back and I get back to the neck and the head. Ultimately. This is the sketch for our horse. Now I'm going to erase the parts which I should erase. And then after that, I will just add some more gray color to some parts of my work and I finish it. Now. I am going to erase the parts that I don't need anymore and I will erase all the extra and guidelines. We don't need them anymore. Then again. I will use my eraser to erase all the lines on the extra lines and I don't want to over here. And then I can move on and create the parts which should be colored. Just in this way. I will erase all these parts which are extra and we don't need them anymore. I'll do the same for the parts on the face. This way. Then. I would also work on the parts which have been lightened during my erasing. I mean, why you're going to erase the extra lines. You might accidentally erase some main parts to, as I said before, so you can use your edit it again to bring them back. Now this time I've chosen the color 348, which is a gray color. I'm just going to color some parts of my horse as its main. For example. After that. I also color the nasal area and the part for the mouth. I would also want to color the tail. This way. We color the parts that we want with our gray pencil. I can actually even use it for my feed for the hooves areas. And it just gives it a bit more different and unique look. These lines that I will create would be some designs on its body. They're optional. I'm just doing good for making them looking cuter or more unique. By you can just create these colors on its body. You can just create some spots and designs on the body. Some of them, I'm going to create them as smaller. I'm going to create some of them bigger. Sum would be medium-size. For example, like this leg which has been placed on the back. We can also use our color on them a little. Now I'm going to add some more colors and then I work with be done. For example, the line for the neck and some other lines for separating the parts of the tail. Which can show that these are actually hair textures. Very easily with these lines, I will show the texture of the hair. We should also add this part. Make it look like this. Also for around. It's because I wanted to make it cuter. I can apply some of my gray color and add some color to it. This way, it looks so cute. And now our second horse is complete. 25. General illustration of the first mouse: Hello, My dearest friends. We are here again with another tutorial session for you. And in this session, we are going to create a mouse character, which is so cute. And we would learn how we can create each parts of it with details. First of all, I will create an oval for my mouse's body. You can create a mouse into different ways. One of them is that if it's actually lying down on the ground, if it's actually going all fours on the ground, which is in most normal way, unusual way. The second way is if you created on to all of its legs, which is more cartoony and it's more suitable for characters. But right now, I'm creating the way which it is on all four and it's crawling, going on the ground. Then I would create a circle for its head and is small o wall in the front part of our circle. Now, in the next step, we will create our Mouse's ears. Actually, we are determining the placement of our Mouse's ears, which are kind of significant parts for our animal. Difference is that, I mean, the difference between Mouse's ears and rabbits ears is that for our mouse, the ears are more circularity and they are more toward a circle, and its ears are placed on the top of its head. These significant differences are the ones which can actually separate the animals from each other. These are the ears. Then we are going to create the general shape for its tail as well. Mouses can have very cute tails. Then we would determine the placement of its legs and hands. First of all, I create an oval for the leg and Dan, another oval beneath it for the lower part of its leg, for its food actually. Foods is also kind of a Paul Dan, I create another oval for the hand, for the arm actually, which is thicker on one side and a thinner on the other side. A very, very small oval for its hand. And it's Paul. I would also do the same for the other arm and other hand which is on the other side of the body. I'm just going to create that other arm and the other hand. Smaller because it goes in perspective, obviously. It cannot see back leg at all, so we will not create it at all. Now I will determine the main placement of the eyes over here. And mouse's can have very cute, big eyes. Then later when I want to add the details, I will complete it more. This is a general shape for our mouse character. Now in next step, we are going to add some more details to it and develop it and make it more complete. 26. Drawing the details of the first mouse: Hello again. As you can see, we are continuing our work on our mouse character. We're going to add the details to our sketch. Alright, as usual, I start from the ears and ear, which is closer to us, would be the first one to be created and detailed. I will add the front end actually, I will add the inner part of the ear and also the outer part of it. Just determine the shape of it. I just do it very clean and in order. Now, we will move on to the back air and we will work on it like this. For this area in front of my ears, in front of my sorry, mouse's head. Just add a little bit of hair and then I move on to the front part of its face. And then in this way, I will follow I will follow the volume and then I will add my mouse's nose. Then from here, I will add my mouse's mouth like this. Then obviously I will create two cute little teeth for it out of its mouth. Again. Other significance features of the mouse. Now I want to create, it's all created as well. Then for the lower part of the eye, I will separate it from the risks of the body and from the mouth area. Because I would also want little reserve. My mouse is a smile, so I'll do it. Therefore, this part would be a separator between our eye and our mouth. And it also adds a cheek to our mouse. I mean, it can be as a part of its cheek and make it cuter. Now, going to create a circle for its eye, for the inner part of its eye. Then I will add a darkness inside of the eye. As you can see, my mouse's eye is looking up. I would also create an eyebrow for my mouse. Just to make it cuter. Then I will create my mouse's body. I will actually complete it. From behind the teeth. I come toward the hands. And then I will create a hand which is on the other side, DRM, which is on the other side, and the top part of it cannot be seen. I just create the lower part of it this way. And I will also add one line to show the fingers over there. Then for the next arm, which is in front of us and it's closer to us. I will create shapes like this. I create a curved line, I come down, I bring it up a little, make it bump to create volume for my hand. Also here and another line to show the fingers would be created. Then I move on on my line to this stomach and then my mouse's legs. This way. We would also move on to leg that we've created. Then I will create the back of my leg, will be behind of my body. I would also create fingers, my mouse's leg and foot. And I create two lines for it because it can be seen more comparing to the hands. Then I will create its tails. And I will show it with two lines here. Just like that, I will complete my body. I will come over here. I will actually shave the parts which I need to be darker. For example, the nose or the inner part of the eye would be shaded like this, or even the eyebrow. And then we can clearly erase our guidelines and our extra lines and our work would be complete. As you can see, I'm going to erase my guidelines and extra lines here. And work would be complete. Again, I say, don't worry if you've erased any main lines accidentally, you can always come back with your edited or your pencil to draw them back again. See when I erase the extra and guidelines, it would show itself much more better, prettier, and cleaner. So this is our mouse character, which is in on all four. 27. General illustration of the second mouse: Hello to allow my dearest friends again, we are here back with another tutorial session. And in this session, we are going to create another different model for our mouse. I'll start my work with creating a circle. Now, this time, we are going to create a mouse together, which is actually on two of its legs. It's kind of a standing. On the contrary of our other mouse, which is on all four. I started my work with a circle. Then for the front part of its face, I'm going to create an oval. Just like this. Then. I would also determine the placement of the nose. I create general Shea for the ears. That then we can both create and other ear. But for this area, I want to create a very cute hats. Therefore, from now on as you can see, you can note, actually see the ear on the other side. But if you eliminate the hat, you can easily create the other ear as we did for the previous mouse. Now for my mouse's body, I will create oval. And I will shape actually like that. Then for and a hands. I will place them in this position. Actually creating general shapes right now in general volume of our mouth. Later on the next step we will add the details right now. We just want to see how our general work would be. Just like that. Now for the legs, who would also make a semicircle? For the other leg? I'm going to use some kind of an oval shape. But we just need this part of it. And then I will create my mouse's foot like this. I would also do the same for the other one as well. Then I will create my mouse's tail. Actually, my mouse's tail is coming from behind of my body. And it starts from here. But because mouses tails are long, I will create a little from this part and the rest of it will come out from this side of its body. I bring it out and I shape it like this. I go back again for making it cuter. Otherwise, you can actually bring the tail from one side and drag it out of the body and denote, give it this twists and shapes. But this way I think it looks cuter. Then you should just be careful to create your legs and feet. One angle generally, therefore we should, therefore we see this leg more in front because of the perspective. But you should consider that the height of the legs would be the same and they wouldn't be one shorter and one longer leg. I just fix my sizes. I edit my sizes like this and my legs should be turned this way. Okay. After I've just added a general shapes, I will add the details later. The last part would be creating the eyes in this shape. This is the general shape of our sick and mouse character. 28. Drawing the details of the second mouse: Hello to all of my dearest friends again. Now, I want to work on the details of my character and develop it and it lasts completed. Obviously as usual, I will start from my mouse's ear. And I want to change my design a little, shape it this way. Then I will create the inner part of the ear like this. Okay. Now I will move on to the hair part that I've considered for my mouse. I wanted to make it a hat, but I've decided to create hair here. Then I want to create my Mouse's face. Shape it like this. Then I move on to the ears. And I would also work on them as well. Now, I'm working on the eyes like this. I make the upper part of the eye a little bit more volume. Then I will also work on the pupil of my mouse's. I. I also create a very teeny tiny eyebrow for him. Then for the other eye. I'll do this thing this way. Then also I will add to pupil inside of the eye. Then for the other eyebrow, I will create it small. Then I want to work on the nose. I want to shape it like this. Just like that. I will shape my nose. Then from this back part of the nose, I would come down. And then I'll create my mouse's mouth. From this inner part. I will create a line and I bring it around him, mouse, around the mouth. Then I will actually divide the nasal area and the mouth area from the top part of the face. For this part beneath the mouth. I'll just continue my work like this. Then. We'd one line I will determine the body for the part on the back of our Mouse's face. I'll create a line like this. Then I go down and toward the body. I will also create the arm for this side of my mouse. Like this. I would also create the inner side of my arm in this shape. Then I will create biomasses hand. And then I will have my fingers in this way. I'll actually add the fingers in this way. This is our thumb for our mouse. Then we'll continue the line for the body down this way. Then after that, we will bring down this inner line that we've created for the nose and mouth. And generally we would also separate this inner part of the stomach area from the outer part of the body. Just like I'm separating two parts of its body for making it more out to standing. I wanted to work on the other arm for my mouse. And I create the inner side of the arm like that. The head is actually placed on the back of his body, on his back. So we only see a part of its palm and fingers. So we just create the little part that we can see. Now we will move on to our mouse's legs. And I will show it with a design like this. I would also create this other leg this way. And just like that, we will come down from the back of our hand. Then we will create a foot, this shape, and I'll complete it more. I just create a curve over there and a line over here so I can separate fingers on the foot as well. This would be the second finger and this would be the third finger. Third fingers are enough for the lake, for the foot actually. Now, I'm also going to create the other leg looking like this. The first finger, the second one. And here we go. The third one. Dat I make it a smaller comparing to the others because my foot and my foot is facing this way. Therefore, we see this second finger higher and bigger comparing to the other ones. And the third one would be placed in the back behind. Then I would work on the tail and I would also complete detail. Looking like this. I will create detail. Now. I will erase the parts which are my primary lines. Then I will shade some areas. Therefore, my work would be more alive. I will erase the parts related to my primary sketch, all of my guidelines, all of my extra lines here. Then at last I can see the beautiful outcome of it and how it's getting cleaner and more good-looking. This was the area for the legs and feet. Would also erase these areas. Then with some shadings, I will darken the parts that I want. For example, for the nose. I will keep lights for some part of it and then I'll darken the rest of it. And also this other part that we've separated which was in front of the face. I will also darken that area like that. I would also do the same for the hair for the outside of the ear, the outer part of the ear. From this part, I will move down and also work on the arms. Basically the inner part for the mouth and stomach would be left untouched and uncolored. And I will actually separate this area, the outer area, which shading it all around the body. Do the same for the other arm. Then for the tail, we can also create some lines to give it a special and unique design that you want. It would look cuter. That's it. This is a standing mouse character that we've created altogether. Like that. 29. General illustration of the third mouse: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are here again with another tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create another type of mouse characters and see how much it's done. How it's done with creating a circle. I will start my work. This way. Then. I will move on to adding my Mouse's ears. And for this character, I want to create too big ears. This way. See, this is one of the ears and this would be the other one. We will also create the other one like this. Okay. Now I'm actually going to determine different parts of the face, the placement of different parts of the face. For example, the placement of the eyes. And in this way, I will shape my eyes. It's eyes actually. Then. For the nose. I would also create a shape like this. Then I can move on to my mouse's body. Actually going to add some kind of a human features to our mouse. This is actually used more for cartoons as well. With an oval I create my mouse's body because I wanted to add some human features in my mouse. Inside of this oval, I create a circle for the upper part of the body and another circle for the lower part of the body. Then for the feet. For its feet. I will consider two oval shapes. So I can get the shape of the legs. Then I move on to the other leg and I'll just created the very same way. Then I will move on to the ankle. Then the whole foot at the end would be added. Just like this very easily. Then I move on to the other foot. Created in the same way. The same shape. Okay. Now I would also determine the placement of the hands. I want to create one of them going to the back. I mean, placing it on the waist. And the other one, I want to raise it up in the air. For the one arm. I start creating some ovals for my arms and hands. As you see, is going on the waist. With creating the joints. I will create my whole arm. You'll see how you can create these shapes easily with primary shapes and forms. Without any difficulties. Just like that, we can create any shape value you want for your character. Only with creating general shapes and placing them in the right position, you can create even the most complex creatures. Now this is our general shape for the head and the body. And at last I will add my mouse's tail, obviously, which would look like this. And as I get closer to the ending part of the tail, to the tip of the tail, it would be thinner and more narrow. Now with these shapes that I've created, which is my general and primary shape, I will move on to the next step, which is actually adding the details to all of my work and to my mouse character. 30. Drawing the details of the third mouse: Hello, my dear friends again. We are back. We're continuing our work on our mouse character and adding the details of it online to start with my characters ears. Then I will shape them like this. I'll just turn my ear twisted a little. And in this area, I bring it up a little upper actually. Then for the inner part of my mouse's ear, I will go like this. Move my pencil like this. This was the shape. Then for the inner part of the ear, I will work with a line like this, a curved line. Just sue, gave it some more texture. I will create the other one just like that. Now at this shape, for this inner part of my characters ear, I would do It's like this. Very soft, soft shape, like this. Then again for the inner part of the ear. I would move like this. As you can see, the face of our character is turned a little. Therefore, you will actually show the inner part of this ear more. And the other one would be seen. Notes very straight and very complete. Like this. Now I want to work on the inner part of my face and I want to complete the shape around my mouse is face. Then I get to the eyes and all the phase components inside of it. First I will bring my shapes down like this. Then from this side, I would also do the same with some kind of a shape like that. I will continue my work. For the inner part of my face. I will consider an imaginary line, which is like this. Then I will determine the placement of the eyes and the eyebrows. I'm going to create them actually. Then I will create my characters. I looking like this. Then one to consider its gender as a female. So we are actually creating a girl mouse and her eyes would be looking this way. Like this. I'll create the inner part of its eyes, the PO pills, and then I move on to the other eye. Then. I would do the same for the inner part of the other eye. For this part. Above the eye will create eye line or her because I want the gender of my mouse to be a girl and a female like this. Then I would also create a darkness inside of the eye. Now, I can move on to the other eye and I can create it as well. Again, just like that, I'll consider eyeliner for her. Then. I will darken inside of her eye. Then I would move on to the eyebrows. I work on my eyebrows. I create them in this way. I would also create the other eyebrow. The same way. The shape of them are actually the same. Now I want to create my character's nose. This way. Then. I will create a line for the middle of this area. And from this side, I will create a curved line for the placement of my mouth. And it's beautiful smile. Then obviously I need two T's in front of the mouse, in front of the mouth of the mouse. Then I can even create some lines to show the whiskers of my mouse. Just as easy as this. Now I'm going to develop the shape of my face and little bit more. I can have it's like that make it more complete. I made the shape of it more circularity and then I move on to the NIC. Now, I create the shape of my body. This way. Then I consider that for my character, I want to create clothes. Therefore, I will create a color for her. Obviously. Then I will consider the slaves slaves area. Then I should create the body inside of this. As you can see here. This is my other slave. Then hand is coming out from inner part of the clothes. I mean, it's coming out of the codes. Then we have the arms, then I will create my wrist and the fingers in this way. This is the other hand. And now for the hand which is rising, I will create it in this shape. And from the elbow I will turn my hand, bring it up. I determine the placement of the fingers for it. Then after that, one by one, I create my fingers in this way because it can be seen completely here. Now I should also create a circle for the palm of our hand in order to show that our hand is actually showing its palm, not the back of our hand. Now I want to work on my character's paths. I will also created as well this shape. Then I will do the same for the other leg. Then I will create the lowest part of my pants like that. As you can see, I just came a little bit out. In order to show some volume for our character. I mean, we should actually add some volume to our characters. As you can see, I've created at the t-shirt and the clothes outer and then I've created depends a little bit closer to the body because this way we can show that our body has a volume. And these parts are in and out. And all of them are not flat. And in one simple line here. Now I will bring it down from the bottom of my pants and I would have my foot. Then obviously I will have to create two lines to create three fingers for my feet. Then I would move on to the other leg, to the other foot. Then again from the inner part of the pants, I will bring my foot and leg out. This is actually the shape of the foot and aligns for the fingers. Then after that, at last, I can move on to my mouse's tail. And I will shape it in this way very, very easily. Now this is actually the general shape of our completed mouse. Now I'm going to erase the extra lines, then my work can show itself completely. This way. If you actually work on the volumes correctly, you would not have any problems in creating any shapes. You can create all creatures. Very simple and very easy. Even the most complex animals can be created and can be drawn with the same principles and the same rules. You just have to go through this steps one-by-one. And again, I say it might be really hard for you at first. It might seem really hard for you at first, but venue move on a step-by-step, little by little. You can see that it wasn't that hard really, and it's something that you can easily do. So you just have to start with very simple shapes, connect them to each other, and step-by-step creating the general volume. And at last you can just create the details. Alright, so these are the extra lines for our character that I've erased them completely. Right? Now for my nose, I can apply some color. I can just shaded a little too dark in it in order for it to be more precise and more showing like that. This is our cute mouse and this is actually our third Mouse character, dad we've created together with a different type and model. And wherever I am using my lines here. If you want to color your character, these parts should be lighter and these parts should be darker. Lines can come to your help those times. And even you can create some lines on the tail to have some design on it. Generally. This is the final picture of my third Mouse character.
